0:00The momentum these guys have is honestly
0:02out of control at this point and you may
0:04want to buy them before the season
0:05actually starts. Now, we're going to go
0:07through seven players that I moved up my
0:08rankings. Starting off with one, Chuba
0:11Hubard. Now, the reason with Chuba is
0:13twofold. Jonathan Brooks, as of Monday,
0:16September 7th, is still working on the
0:19sideline with trainers over soreness.
0:21Now, keep in mind, the big concern that
0:23we've had with Jonathan Brooks from the
0:25very jump is that he's had two torn ACL
0:28tears. And the reason we had him as one
0:31of our avoids about a month ago in those
0:33videos was given the fact that while I
0:36love him and Hookham Horns, the last
0:38time that he really played a solid game
0:41of football was 2023. And on top of
0:45this, we've actually seen Chuba Hubard
0:47recently from this coaching staff get
0:49ruled as the team captain. Now, yes, of
0:53course, there are multiple team
0:54captains. Now, yes, of course, that does
0:56not mean everything, but I actually do
0:59think that it matters here for the
1:00running back position if we are breaking
1:02down snaps and we are breaking down
1:04roles in this respective offense. Now,
1:06let me go through and let me look at
1:08what we've actually had with Chuba
1:09Hubard through his NFL career. Because
1:11keep in mind, while my guy in Jonathan
1:14Brooks was an incredible prospect coming
1:16out of the University of Texas where he
1:19was a secondround, yes, second round NFL
1:22draft pick despite having a torn ACL at
1:25the time, Schuba Hubard himself was a
1:28very good prospect as well coming out of
1:31Oklahoma State. After his true sophomore
1:34season, people thought he was going to
1:35be like the next level um Leonard
1:38Fornette, that type of prospect. He had
1:41over 2,000 rushing yards in 2019 at
1:44Oklahoma State. Now, yes, of course,
1:46that doesn't matter too much when we're
1:48talking about fantasy production today.
1:50But if we are comparing them apples to
1:52apples as prospects, Chuba Hubard was
1:54just as impressive as Jonathan Brooks.
1:56And once he gets to the NFL, he actually
1:59did manage to make a significant
2:00difference in fantasy football in 2024.
2:03Yes, in 2025 he got injured. Rico Dattle
2:06mixed in. Rico Dattle took over as a
2:08pretty big piece of this backfield, but
2:11Chuba Hubard in 2024 was the running
2:14back 13 in fantasy points per game. He
2:17played 77% of the snaps for the Carolina
2:20Panthers. He had over 20 carries inside
2:23the 5yd line. And if we just look at his
2:26raw amount of volume, he had 16.7
2:30carries per game, 3.6 6 targets per
2:33game, which of course you add all that
2:35up, that's over 20 total opportunities.
2:38Rico Dattle's now gone. And if Brooks
2:40isn't 100%, there's a chance that Chuba
2:43Hubard can get back to these 2024
2:44levels. If we look at how he had fallen
2:47in the rankings on flockfantasy.com,
2:49he had taken a plummet from being the
2:5375th player overall early July all the
2:56way down to 96 with his hamstring
2:58injuries during camp. But you see him
3:00back on the rise. I am moving them up my
3:02rankings. If you have Hubard as a
3:04running back three, running back four on
3:05your team, there's a damn good chance he
3:07can be a top 24 name. Now, let's move
3:09over to our second guy with EA Ibuka.
3:12And with Igbuka, I have him on my own
3:14fantasy team. So, obviously, I am
3:16extremely biased when I go through and I
3:19talk about this, but he is back at
3:21practice today on Monday. This is a team
3:24that's not going to be playing until
3:25Sunday. So the expectations for Ibuka is
3:28hey this toe injury maybe it's a thing
3:30that we can leave in the past. Maybe he
3:32is going to be 100% good to go for week
3:34one. And that is so damn important to
3:37note because if we go through and look
3:38at where he was ranked before his toe
3:40injury of camp, he got all the way up to
3:4337 on flockfantasy.com. And then with
3:46this injury, it led him dropping down to
3:48being a middle of the fourth round pick,
3:50dropping behind guys like Tedo and
3:52McMillan in my own rankings because
3:54obviously there was an injury discount
3:56big tent. But now at this point, I think
3:58he goes right back to being that late
4:01third round selection that has the
4:03upside to potentially win fantasy
4:05leagues because if we go back and look
4:06at the prospect that he was coming out
4:07of Ohio State, this is a player that was
4:10incredibly exciting. Round one NFL draft
4:13pick. He goes through and he puts up a
4:15Justin Jefferson type beginning to his
4:18rookie season. Now, of course, that
4:19ended up not working out. Of course, he
4:21gets injured in that San Francisco 49ers
4:23game. The offensive line falls apart for
4:25the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but at this
4:27point now, it looks like we don't need
4:28to worry about this injury the way that
4:30we thought we did. And if you can buy
4:32him still with that injury discount in
4:33mind, maybe you had a league mate take
4:35him in the middle of the fourth round
4:37and you can get him for that price tag.
4:38I think it's probably a third round pick
4:40at this point. Now, moving over to Josh
4:42Jacobs. Josh Jacobs was somebody that I
4:44priced in to potentially miss the entire
4:47season. Like, obviously, it is very
4:50concerning when he goes through. He gets
4:52put on the injury exempt list. The
4:54editor team in the Flock League, they go
4:56through and they make a panic trade to
4:59pick up Kenneth Gainwell. But the report
5:02that we just got where Josh Jacobs is
5:05moving his court date up to before the
5:08season makes me think that there's a
5:10chance that he plays. Makes me think
5:12that there's a chance he's going to ride
5:14out a six-game suspension at the
5:16beginning of the year that he's going to
5:17be able to settle this court case and
5:19you get a low-end running back one,
5:21high-end running back two for bottom
5:24basement prices. Now, of course, there's
5:26still very much a realistic possibility
5:28that Josh Jacobs misses the entire year,
5:31but because this court date is moved up,
5:33I mean, I do think that if you were to
5:35trade for Josh Jacobs, you probably need
5:37to do so ASAP. We are going to get
5:40additional information, of course, with
5:42how Marshon Lloyd looks in that game
5:44against the Minnesota Vikings for the
5:46Green Bay Packers. But Lloyd hasn't
5:48really proven to be anything at the NFL
5:50level. He hasn't done anything at all
5:52other than get injured. And it's not
5:54like he was the same level prospect that
5:56we had with Jonathan Brooks coming out.
5:58So even if Marshon Lloyd um is the
6:00full-blown starter week one, the second
6:02that Josh Jacobs would get back to this
6:04backfield, he probably takes back over.
6:06Now with Mike Evans, this is a very
6:09interesting case for him specifically
6:11because he is going to be going up
6:12against the Los Angeles Rams week one
6:15and this game is in Australia. So
6:17everybody is going to be watching this
6:19and I want to be on the record. I don't
6:20know if you need to buy Mike Evans
6:22today. There is a good chance that the
6:27Rams just go ahead and put a beatd down
6:29on San Francisco. Currently, the Rams
6:32are favored quite heavily. They have a
6:3364% chance of winning this game
6:36according to Poly Market US. And if they
6:39come through with their elite level
6:40defense, and they just absolutely stomp
6:43on the NerS, you may have people
6:45panicking about two players and two
6:47players specifically, Mike Evans and
6:50George KD. And the injury stuff is the
6:52reason why you would be getting a
6:53discount on these names, right? Cuz we
6:55can go through and we can look at Mike
6:56Evans on flockfantasy.com and we can see
6:59that he was ranked at 45 very early this
7:03off season starting in July. And since
7:05then with a multitude of injuries that
7:07he has had throughout camp, he has
7:09fallen down to being a sixthround pick
7:11with the flockfantasy.com ranks. But the
7:13report that we got coming out of
7:15Australia today is actually Oh no. Um,
7:20Evans could have played if he wanted.
7:22Mike Evans said that if those practices
7:25were during the week during the season
7:27that he would have been able to suit up,
7:29no problem. He has had over 1,000
7:31football practices in his life. Seemed
7:34like he was really just being
7:35precautionary. Seems like he was really
7:37just saving his body for the season. And
7:39if we look at Christian Kirk on the IR
7:41and Ricky Pawol out for the season, the
7:43depth chart for these pass catchers have
7:46thinned out dramatically in San
7:48Francisco. So that is not only why I am
7:50targeting Mike Evans at this discount,
7:52but also George KD because George KD has
7:55had some really positive injury news as
7:57well with him where the first day they
7:59were in Australia, George KD did suit up
8:02and George KD went through and was able
8:04to practice completely fine. Now, yes,
8:07McCaffrey missed practice. I'm not
8:08panicking about McCaffrey. I do think
8:10that it's just regularly scheduled rest
8:12as we go through and as we look at a
8:14team that just had to travel across the
8:16entire planet. But if KD is suiting up
8:19for that practice afterwards, it does
8:21seem like he is going to be fine for
8:23this season. If we go through and look
8:25at what George KD has historically been,
8:27this has been a top three tight end in
8:30fantasy pretty much every single season
8:33of his NFL career. And now if we are
8:36looking at the rankings on fogg
8:37fantasy.com, he has risen a bit from a
8:40low point of 110 up to 97 in the ranks.
8:44But realistically, I think this rise
8:46should be even higher. I especially want
8:48to be targeting him if you play in a
8:50league where you start two receivers and
8:51one flex. And then if you could get a
8:54significant discount on Kyle Pittz, I
8:57think it may be interesting to go after
8:59Pitts as well. The reason I'd be looking
9:01at Pitts specifically is given the fact
9:03that Tua just got named as the starter
9:05for the Atlanta Falcons. What Tua being
9:08named the starter does in my eyes is it
9:10gives the Falcons an accurate
9:12quarterback with way less arm strength.
9:15And what that's going to be good for is
9:17not down the field shots or shots toward
9:19the sidelines for Drake London. That's
9:21going to be those targets close to the
9:23line of scrimmage over the middle of the
9:25field which is going to favor Kyle
9:27Pittz. Keep in mind Kyle Pittz is the
9:29same age as some of the year 2 running
9:31backs like Woody Mars, like Jacory
9:33Kroski Merritt, like RJ Harvey. Um,
9:36while I wouldn't go out there and trade
9:38the farm for pits, like if you're
9:40starting Jawan Johnson right now and you
9:43could take a wide receiver like Jordan
9:45Addison and pivot from Addison to pits,
9:47even if I love Jordan Addison, I think
9:49that would make sense in a two wide
9:50receiver, one flex league. But of
9:52course, that would be in the instance in
9:54which you are paying very, very little.
9:56Somebody I would be excited to pay a
9:58little more for though would be Raandre
10:00Stevenson. The thing that came out today
10:02with Trevian Henderson makes it seem
10:04like Trevon has no chance to play week
10:07one. Now, I wouldn't go out there and
10:09assume that Remadre is immediately going
10:11to be a top 10 RB because the problem
10:13with Remadre Stevenson is this is going
10:15to be a very tough matchup against the
10:18Seattle Seahawks. Like I'm actually
10:20looking at the implied team totals and
10:22the total that we have for New England
10:24is near the bottom of the league. If we
10:26go through and look at what the current
10:28um predictions are on poly market,
10:30Seattle does have a 63% chance of
10:32winning this. So week one, maybe Roandre
10:34Stevenson doesn't look the best and
10:35instead of him being a true top 10
10:37running back given the matchup, he is
10:39still an automatic jam with no Trevian
10:41Henderson, but he's more so a high-end
10:43running back too, a mid- running back
10:45too. But if he plays well, it may be
10:47something where he just runs away with
10:49this job by the time Trevian Henderson
10:50gets back. It absolutely sucks to say,
10:52but if you can buy him as a running back
10:54three, he has a damn good chance to be a
10:56top 24 running back this season given
10:58this Trevian ankle. I really wanted to
11:01think that Trevian was going to be the
11:02guy this season, but of course, we went
11:04through all of training camp and what
11:06ended up happening was Raadre seems like
11:08he had already won the job and then the
11:10Trevian Hitter ankle injury just put the
11:12nail in the coffin. But I really
11:14appreciate you. I really hope that you
11:16are as excited for this season as I am.
