0:00So, it's happened in the Flockly the past 2 years at quarterback as everybody waits until the very end of the draft
0:04because they understand there are more than enough options to go around. I can pick up a quarterback off the waiver wire. I can take Brock Purdy at the very
0:12end as if this is the NFL draft and he's Mr. Relevant. But, I honestly think it may be different this season both in
0:19your regular redraft leagues as well as these Underdog drafts that I'm doing right now because there are very exciting elite quarterbacks at the top
0:27starting with the quarterback that I had in my league last year, Josh Allen.
0:31There is nobody better at the quarterback position in fantasy than Mr.
0:35Allen. The reason for this is you have the elite consistency season-to-season.
0:42If we go through and look at Josh Allen since the year 2020, we can see that he has played at least 16 games every
0:49season. If we look at his points per game, every year he has at least averaged 20 fantasy points per contest, and he has been a top-three quarterback
0:59in fantasy. And at the same time, we've seen the true top-end ceiling where we've had games with 40-plus points.
1:06We've had multiple seasons where he's averaged over 23 points per game, and we can go back and look at 2025 and 2024 as
1:14examples where he had no weaponry at all. You have Dalton Kincaid out there with one leg, Khalil Shakir looking like just a guy that has a Hall of Fame-level
1:25quarterback throwing it to him. But, this season may be a little bit different because they do go out there and they trade for DJ Moore. While they
1:32fire the head coach, they just promote the offensive coordinator. So, the offense is probably going to be about the same. They've been extremely run
1:39heavy the past 2 seasons where Josh Allen's averaged fewer than 30 passing attempts per contest, but it doesn't matter. He has rushing yards. He has
1:47rushing touchdowns. And he's extremely efficient, and you know he's going to be there for you every game, and he's going to be putting up fantasy points. So,
1:55Allen right now is going in round three of Underdog Drafts. And honestly, if I got the ability to take him in round
2:02three, maybe later in the round in the Flock league, I would probably look to take him there as well. Now, moving down
2:08to our next tier, we are going to be led off with Lamar Jackson. Lamar Jackson, honestly, we have seen in the past have
2:15a higher ceiling than what you had with Josh Allen. We can go through and look at Lamar in 2024, he averaged 25 and a
2:22half fantasy points per game, and he was the QB1 overall in fantasy. We can go way back in time to 2019 where he
2:29averaged 27 and a half fantasy points per game, both seasons Josh Allen has never come close to. But, you don't get
2:37the consistency with Lamar that you do with Allen. Lamar Jackson only played 13 games this past season. We saw him in
2:432021 deal with injuries. We saw him in 2022 deal with injuries. And even when Lamar came back this past year, honestly, he hurt you more than he
2:53helped you because we can look at Lamar Jackson at the beginning of the season as a true elite quarterback in fantasy.
3:0029 fantasy points week one, 26 fantasy points week two, 27 fantasy points in week three. He ends up getting injured in week four, and then when he comes
3:11back, he scores 25, 11 and a half, four and a half, seven, six and a half, 21, 15, four, and 20.
3:21Eventually, this leads to the head coach getting fired, and the Baltimore Ravens addressing their skill positional need by deciding to go out of their way and
3:30draft two wide receivers with Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman and Elijah Moore in this year's NFL draft.
3:36Now, they do lose possibly the best center in the NFL or at least very close to the best center in the league, but I
3:43think Lamar at 29 years old, it's too early to call for the true collapse where all of a sudden he's pulling a Cam
3:51Newton going from one of the most exciting and best quarterbacks in the league to effectively unusable. I think that it's probably just he was playing
3:59injured at the end of last season. He has been a top-10 quarterback in points per game every single season that he's
4:05been a starter at the NFL level, and he's still only 29. So, I would have him as my QB2. I think he has an insane
4:12ceiling, obviously very low floor though based off the changing coaching staff as well as what we had at the end of last
4:19year.
4:20Now, Jayden Daniels is a very difficult quarterback to rank because very similar to Lamar Jackson, Jayden Daniels was also injured this past season. You can
4:29see Daniels at the beginning of the year looking promising, 20 fantasy points week one, about 20 fantasy points week two, and he's coming off a rookie
4:38season, of course, in 2024 where he just lit the world on fire at the end of the season, not only looking phenomenal in
4:45the NFL playoffs, but 30 fantasy points in week 12, 27 and 1/2, 23 and 1/2, 34 and 32 to end the season off. So,
4:54Daniels, I took him in the Flock league last year before I traded him for Josh Allen, cuz I think that he has proved,
5:01given the rushing upside, he can be the next generation of Lamar Jackson, of Josh Allen. I will say I'm maybe a
5:08little bit concerned with the weapons that he's going to be throwing to this year. At least last season, we had the
5:14hope and a prayer that Deebo Samuel was going to be able to elevate this wide receiver room, but now you have like
5:19Terry McLaurin, Antonio Williams, and Chig at tight end that you're hoping will do something. So, the weapons aren't there for Daniels, but he's going
5:28to run the ball. He had 52 rushing yards per game as a rookie. Now, going over to Jalen Hurts, of course, I'm making this
5:33ranking under the assumption that A.J.
5:34Brown is not going to be a Philadelphia Eagle this next season. And with that combined with Jalen Hurts having the worst year of his NFL career this past
5:43year, I understand the cause for concern for a lot of people. But, if we just take a step backwards and look at Jalen
5:50Hurts in 2021, 22, 23, 24, he had been a top five quarterback in points per game every single season at least averaging
5:5920 fantasy points per contest, giving you the rushing upside and giving you a QB1 overall finish in 2022 with 25 and a
6:07half points per game. You will still have DeVonta Smith and they draft Mac Jones in round one. They also take Eli
6:15Flowers, a phenomenal receiving tight end to pair up with Dallas Goedert. And most importantly, they change the offensive coordinator. I think a big
6:22reason for Hurts' struggles last season was the offensive play calling, even if a lot of people want to blame that on
6:28Jalen Hurts saying that they had to simplify the offense for him and blah blah blah. Well, I know is he was an
6:34elite quarterback for four seasons straight in fantasy and doesn't miss time. I actually think we're going to get a small Hurts bounce back this year.
6:43And then going over to Drake May.
6:45Obviously, Drake May was horrendous in the Super Bowl. Not only was it his fault, but it was the fault of his
6:51entire supporting cast. And this supporting cast is going to be upgraded this next season with not only the addition of Romeo Dobbs, but apparently,
6:59according to Diana Russini, the addition of A.J. Brown. Drake May was still the quarterback two in fantasy points per game last year as a 23-year-old
7:09player averaging 20.7 fantasy points per game demonstrating rushing upside that was averaging out to about 30 rushing yards per game over the past two
7:20seasons. And he really hasn't had that big spike at any point of his career yet with the rushing touchdowns, which honestly, given the frame and the
7:27ability to run in general, I think will be coming soon. So, what I have found myself doing personally in a ton of
7:34Underdog drafts lately is taking Drake May in the seventh round, not being able to wait on quarterbacks later.
7:41Obviously, the best ball draft is going to be a little bit different cuz you have to take two to three quarterbacks
7:45in every one, but even in my redraft league, like if Drake Maye's sitting there in round seven, I probably am going to go ahead and pull the trigger
7:52as I think we can get a back-to-back finish as a top three option.

8:36Now, moving over to the B tier of our QB ranks, I'm going to have Joe Burrow. I actually have not drafted much Burrow so
8:45far for a multitude of reasons. One, we have seen Burrow deal with the multitude of injuries throughout his NFL career.
8:52In his 2020 season, obviously, it ends early with him only playing 10 games. In his 2023 season, it ends early with him
8:59only playing 10 games. And he gets injured at the very beginning of 2025, where he eventually only plays eight games. You're not dealing with this kind
9:07of stuff from a Josh Allen level quarterback, and I think we have a sample size that we are allowed to point
9:12that out at this point. The other thing that we can point out is we know he is not going to run the ball at all. Early
9:18in his NFL career, yeah, he was getting up there. I mean, he had 15 rushing yards per game in 2022. Well, over the
9:25past three seasons, he has averaged fewer than 10 rushing yards per contest.
9:29He had zero rushing touchdowns this past year, and obviously, I don't want to be using his points per game against them
9:36where he was the QB 15 and giving Lamar a pass, where we're not giving it to Burrow. But, because he has this limited
9:43rushing ceiling, you aren't seeing the same type of ceiling as a Lamar Jackson, where we can go back and look at
9:50multiple years where Lamar averaged 25 plus points per game. Joe Burrow's best season ever, he averaged 21.93.
9:58And because he doesn't run the ball, what that took was 43 passing touchdowns and 4,900 passing yards. And even in that year
10:07where he essentially threw 50 touchdowns and had over 4,000 passing yards, he was still only the quarterback three in fantasy. So, I honestly think that he's
10:16maybe a better like underdog fantasy best ball option, because you are going to get a lot of usable weeks. But, in
10:23terms of like your regular redraft league, like for me in the flock league, I don't see a 25 point per game ceiling
10:29from Burrow the way that I would the quarterbacks in the S and A tier. And for that reason, I'm still willing to
10:35take him in the single digit rounds, don't get me wrong. But, I would just put a slight premium on the quarterbacks
10:41that will run the ball. I am making these rankings though for a four point passing touchdown format. If you are playing in a six point passing touchdown
10:48format, the rushing upside for these QBs will matter a little bit less.
10:52Now, moving over to Caleb Williams, Caleb Williams at this point has to be one of the most exciting QBs in the NFL.
10:58I know a lot of people are going to point out, "Oh my gosh, he only had a 58% completion percentage this past
11:03season at the bottom of the league. It's horrible."
11:06In reality, at least in my opinion, I think this is because Caleb Williams is taking deep shots downfield. I think Caleb Williams is actually playing
11:14phenomenal. If we look at the adjusted yards per pass attempt, took a significant step upwards going from 5.8 as a rookie up to seven in the following
11:24season. If we look at the sacks taken by game, you had four sacks a game as a rookie for Caleb Williams. In year two
11:32that moves to 1.4. The rushing upside, I honestly was hoping he was going to run the ball a little bit more. He only had
11:3922 and 1/2 rushing yards per game this past season, barely any rushing touchdowns over the past 2 years, but he still managed to finish as the QB 7, and
11:48he's only going to be 24 years old this next season. So, I'm in. I love this offense. I love the weapons with Rome
11:55going into year three, Luther Burden going into year two, Loveland going into year two. Obviously, this is a team that significantly invested in the offensive
12:02line last off-season, but I would put Caleb in the same tier as like Burrow where I don't know if we were ever going
12:08to get a 25-plus point per game season because he's not going to run the ball just like Dak Prescott. Like Dak
12:14Prescott and Burrow are very comparable in that if you're going to get a top-three finish because these guys aren't going to run, you need them to be
12:22top three in the NFL in passing yards as well as passing touchdowns. Dak Prescott has CD Lamb, George Pickens, both of
12:30whom are going to be presumably fully healthy coming into this year. So, I I think you can be excited about Dak, but
12:36we have such a large sample of exactly who he is at this point that if he stays healthy, he's a top-10 quarterback in
12:43fantasy, but he doesn't have the upside to finish with like 24 points per game.
12:47His career high is actually sitting at about 21 points per game.
12:53Now, moving over to our C tier. If you are using these rankings in your drafts at the moment, obviously, if you have
13:00the flockfantasy.com Underdog Draft Assistant, you can just draft off my rankings if you want, but you'll notice I do have Joe Burrow ranked ahead of
13:07these other quarterbacks like Lawrence, Herbert, Dart, Purdy, and a lot of these guys do go ahead of them. The reason for
13:13this is we had phenomenal news come out last week regarding Patrick Mahomes' availability early in the season.
13:21If we are looking at updated Las Vegas sports book odds, Mahomes at the moment to start week one is like minus 700 and
13:29Justin Fields is plus 500. Even though this ACL tear happened at the very end of this past season, it does seem that
13:38rehab is going phenomenally well. It's not like he's having a second surgery like Malik Neighbors and he should be good to go for OTAs as well as the start
13:46of the year. And if we go through and look at Patrick Mahomes through his NFL career, I mean, hell, he's been a top 14
13:53quarterback in points per game every single season. He's only finished outside of the top 10 quarterbacks in points per game twice and he has 1 2 3 4
14:035 finishes inside the top five including him averaging 20 and a half fantasy points per game this past season and I
14:10do think he gets an improvement with the offensive coordinator. So, I'm not going to have him in the same tier as like Burrow, Dak, etc. because I
14:17don't think he's going to be able to run the ball as much coming off this severe injury and he may be slow to start the
14:23beginning of the year. But, would I be surprised if Patrick Mahomes was the QB3 in fantasy football this season?
14:29Honestly, not really. Now, Trevor Lawrence looks like he was completely unlocked with Liam Cohen. Like he came in and he averaged a career high 19.89
14:40fantasy points per game. Not only was he great in fantasy, but he looked phenomenal at the end of this past season legitimately winning people
14:47championships. He scored 44 points in week 15, 31 fantasy points in week 16 as well. And while Trevor Lawrence has been
14:56in the NFL forever now, he's still only 26 years old. He's going into his sixth NFL season at 26. You have arguably one
15:05of the deepest wide receiver rooms in the league with a combination of Brian Thomas, Zay Jones, Parker Washington, and Travis Hunter. So, I love the
15:12weapons. I love the coaching staff. He looked very good at the end of this past year. I think Justin Herbert is also
15:18getting a significant upgrade. Now, bad thing with Herbert is he has an average 20 fantasy points per game since 2021.
15:26We are looking at four straight seasons with 18 fantasy points per game or less where he really hasn't moved the needle
15:33and in your redraft league, he has just been a weekly streamer based off matchup. But, he dealt with by far and
15:39away the worst offensive line play in the NFL last season. The Chargers not only go out of their way to significantly invest into the offensive
15:46line this year, but also just naturally getting two of the top tackles back in football to this offensive line that were injured at the beginning of last
15:55season is going to bolster the offensive line like we haven't seen before. And you get Mike McDaniel coming in where we
16:02saw very efficient quarterback play from Tua Tagovailoa years ago and I personally believe that Justin Herbert is a much better quarterback than Tua.
16:11Then you sprinkle in the fact that he is a top-three wide receiver in the league with Quinton Johnston and honestly, I
16:16probably need to be drafting more Justin Herbert. Jackson Dart from an efficiency perspective last year, not an incredible season. I know people are going to hate
16:24me for saying that, but 6.3 adjusted yards per pass attempt, right? Which is a good season for a rookie like in
16:32reference, Cam Ward was at 5.3, so Dart was a much better quarterback than Cam Ward. If we go over and we look at Tyler
16:39Shuck, Tyler Shuck was at 6.5, so slightly better than Dart, but even though Dart wasn't like a phenomenal real-life quarterback, he was really
16:49good in fantasy in games that he started and finished. A lot of this had to do with the rushing upside where we can go
16:56through and we can see that Dart had 1 2 3 4 5 6 games with 50 or more rushing yards and at the same time, Jackson Dart
17:05had a total of nine rushing touchdowns in his rookie year. For me now though, I don't love the offensive coordinator that you were going to have with the New
17:13York Giants. I am a little bit afraid that they're going to scale back the rushing that we saw from Jayden Daniels,
17:20but the benefit will be that even if Malik Nabers starts slow or maybe he starts on the PUP this season, Daniels
17:26is going to get to play with Malik Nabers, which he really didn't get the option to last year given Malik Nabers
17:31getting injured at the beginning of the season. So, the weaponry should be dramatically improved for the New York Giants even if Daniels does run the ball
17:38slightly less.
17:40Now, moving over to Brock Purdy, I know it seems like we're ranking Brock Purdy and Jayden Daniels extremely low in these ranks. The reality is you can move
17:48any of these quarterbacks up to number nine overall and I'm not going to argue against it. Purdy's been a top 10
17:56quarterback in three seasons straight.
17:58He had 19.71 fantasy points per game this past year and a season in which the Niners dealt with every injury under the sun and now
18:06you get Mike Evans added to his wide receiver core.
18:10But with that in mind as well, Brock Purdy's just simply not going to run the ball a ton. Like we have yet to see him
18:15average 20 fantasy points per game or more. We've also seen Purdy himself deal with injuries.
18:21So, I I like Brock Purdy, don't get me wrong, but he's no Trey Lance.
18:25Now, let's move this over to our D tier.
18:28Honestly, I I'm going to move Bo Nix up a tier. There's no reason for Bo Nix to be under like Brock Purdy when it comes
18:35to tiers because Bo Nix has had back-to-back seasons with top 10 quarterback play in fantasy points per game. And at the same time with Bo Nix,
18:45you now arguably get the best wide receiver that he's played with in his NFL career with Jaylen Waddle coming over. You have some of the best
18:52offensive line play in the NFL as well.
18:55So, we're going to throw him into this tier of guys that honestly could have top five fantasy football upside, but I
19:02don't know if they have top three upside and I may want to include Kyler here if I'm going to be straight up crazy, which
19:09honestly, F it. I'm going to be crazy.
19:11We are going to include Kyler Murray in this year as well. If you are looking at Kyler specifically, obviously he was
19:18horrendous to start this past year in Arizona. Obviously, a ton of people love to make memes about Kyler Murray because like myself, he is a short king. But, if
19:28we take a step backwards and not just zoom in on this 2025 season where he only played five games. Kyler Murray
19:36has had a top 12 finish in points per game every single season of his NFL career.
19:43Kyler Murray, arguably, is going to be in the best situation with the best set of weapons that he's ever played with.
19:51Now, yes, he's played with DeAndre Hopkins. He didn't get DeAndre Hopkins at the peak of his powers. You're now getting Justin Jefferson at the peak of
20:00his powers. You're getting Jordan Addison, and you're getting a phenomenal coaching staff that's been able to elevate every quarterback under the sun
20:08not named J.J. McCarthy.
20:10So, I like Kyler. He has rushing upside as well. He has never had a season in his NFL career with fewer than 30
20:17rushing yards per game, even when coming back from a significant injury. So, we will go ahead and put him here. And then
20:23our next two quarterbacks with Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff. Stafford, incredible QB. He was the quarterback three in points per game this past
20:31season, but he doesn't run the ball at all. So, it took 4,700 passing yards and 46 passing touchdowns. Is that going to
20:38be super likely to happen again in this next year? Probably not. Go back to 2024, Matthew Stafford averaged 13.5 fantasy points. 2023, he was at 16.1.
20:482022, he was at 12. Jared Goff, very similar setup, right? Jared Goff, we have never seen average 20 fantasy points per game or more. So, honestly,
20:58these quarterbacks, because they have such a cap ceiling, in your regular redraft league, I I take them until the very end of the draft cuz I almost just
21:08really view them as like streaming options based off match-up and they don't have it as a possibility to put up a 23-point per game season the way that
21:18the guys that are going to run the ball will. Now, if you are drafting in a superflex league, which we do have our
21:23superflex rankings out there on flockfantasy.com for y'all, then obviously Stafford and Goff are a lot more appealing because you know you're
21:30getting a floor and you know they're going to be starters throughout the entire season and that also makes them appealing in Underdog Best Ball contest.
21:38Now, moving over to Jordan Love, Jordan Love looked phenomenal in his first year starting where he went out there and he
21:45averaged 18.77 points per game and every year that's gone by, he's actually become a more efficient passer where he just had 7.8
21:54adjusted yards per pass attempt, the highest mark in his NFL career.
21:58The issue is he's now had back-to-back seasons with fewer than 30 passing attempts per game and this offense looks like yet again, they're going to be
22:06skewing pretty damn run heavy.
22:08Moving over to Tyler Shuck, Tyler Shuck very efficient rookie quarterback this past season and you get the upgrade coming in with Jordan Tyson. Now,
22:17something that I think is funny and maybe it has no place in this rankings video and I shouldn't say it but we have
22:23Tyler Shuck's age on the site as 26.6 and if we look at Trevor Lawrence, it's the exact same. So, let me see which
22:33quarterback is technically younger.
22:35Yeah, Trevor Lawrence technically is younger than Tyler Shuck. So, I don't know if it's the most impressive rookie breakout season we've ever seen again
22:42given the context of he's older than Trevor Lawrence. Baker Mayfield looked incredible at the beginning of the year but injuries to Tampa really
22:52had the rest of his season fall flat and I would love to just blame it on the injuries but Baker has never averaged
22:59more than 16 points per game outside of the singular season he did in 2024.
23:05Malik Willis, super efficient from a per dropback perspective. However, the Green Bay Packers would never really let him drop back whenever he was the starter.
23:15They would just run the ball over and over and over again. He's clearly the starter in Miami, but uh the weapons are
23:21horrendous. The only upside that you get is going to be him running the football.

23:45Kyler Murray looked a lot better at the end of this past season, but no rushing upside and he averaged 10.98 fantasy
23:52points per game. He's like the QB 38. Um C.J. Stroud, back-to-back seasons with fewer than 15 points per game. Daniel Jones coming off the torn Achilles and's
24:01never hit more than 18 fantasy points per game in a season. Bryce Young was the QB 28 this past year, the QB 23 the
24:09year prior. He's never finished higher than QB 20. Fernando Mendoza probably's not going to be starting the very beginning of the season. So in your
24:16regular redraft league, he'd be wasting a spot for you. Geno Smith, pretty damn good situation he's stepping into, but the team that he left in 2024, 2025,
24:26they won the Super Bowl. The team that he went to, they earned the number one overall picks. It's not even a guarantee
24:31he'll be starting all year round. Aaron Rodgers has no juice left. Last time we saw him average 20 points per game was
24:37back in 2021. And then Jacoby Brissett looked great at the end of this past year if we were talking just garbage
24:44time, but he was at 6.6 adjusted yards per pass attempt. Jacoby Brissett won one game as a starter last season. It
24:51was all garbage time numbers and he's a 33-year-old quarterback. I'm not expecting that a 33-year-old quarterback on his 1 2 3 4 5 6th NFL team all of a
25:02sudden found a magical breakout that's going to last forever.
