0:00After looking at a ton of your fantasy
0:01teams, I've consistently seen players on
0:04the waiver wire that are better than the
0:05guys that you took in the final few
0:07rounds. So, I want to talk about making
0:09these waiver wire pivots if you've
0:11already drafted your team, or if you
0:13haven't drafted your team yet, these are
0:14actually the guys you should be
0:15targeting in the later rounds. Now,
0:17we're going to be just looking at my
0:18updated rankings on flockfantasy.com
0:21going through the later round guys and
0:23pointing out the names that potentially
0:25you could get at a massive discount
0:26starting off with Marshon Lloyd. Now,
0:28obviously you'll see in these rankings I
0:30rather have Rashad White, I'd rather
0:31have Jakobi Crosett, I'd rather have
0:32Kyle Manonguy. But, with Marshon Lloyd
0:35it's very simple everything hinges on
0:37this man here.
0:38I know we've already talked about this
0:39before, but the last update that we got
0:42August 27th was surveillance video from
0:45Packers running back Josh Jacobs garage
0:46confirmed the relevant portions of the
0:48woman's account of the altercation. She
0:49told police Jacobs grabbed her as she
0:52tried to leave, threw her to the ground,
0:53and struck her head. The video
0:55specifically shows her on the garage
0:56floor, Jacobs taking her phone, and then
0:58returning about 40 seconds later and
1:00appearing to damage it. If convicted,
1:02Jacobs faces up to 18 months in prison.
1:05So, since this report came out 3 days
1:07ago, the only other updates that we've
1:08had, a one will be the Green Bay Packers
1:12head coach Matt LaFleur saying that they
1:14are anticipating Jacobs to be on the
1:17roster. They are not thinking that they
1:18are going to cut Josh Jacobs, but Adam
1:21Schefter came through and I know I
1:23showed y'all this video a few days ago,
1:25but it is relevant still to look at.
1:27>> Under the collective bargaining
1:29agreement, the baseline suspension for
1:33any domestic violence offense is a
1:36minimum, a minimum of six games.
1:39Six games. So, if
1:42any of these charges are proven to be
1:44true,
1:45Josh Jacobs is looking at a lengthy
1:48suspension.
1:49>> So, that is the main catalyst, those two
1:52reports, and why I am moving Marshon
1:54Lloyd to a player that has to be
1:56rostered in every single format. We have
1:58seen nothing from MarShawn Lloyd his
2:00entire NFL career. This dude's gotten
2:02injured over and over and over again.
2:04Like he has had six total carries over
2:07the past two seasons, and the dude turns
2:0926 years old this year. So, obviously
2:12I'm not sitting here acting like he has
2:13the highest ceiling in the world by any
2:15stretch of the imagination, but he was a
2:18decent prospect coming out of school.
2:20Like he had a decent athletic profile,
2:22and more importantly just the depth
2:23chart behind Josh Jacobs is
2:25non-existent. Emanuel Wilson went over
2:27to Seattle, and the reports coming out
2:29of Green Bay about MarShawn Lloyd have
2:31been phenomenal. He looks fully healthy.
2:34And realistically, if Jacobs were to get
2:36suspended and MarShawn Lloyd were to be
2:38the starting running back for the Green
2:40Bay Packers, he probably is a top 25-ish
2:44running back in my rankings that week
2:46because he can also catch the ball out
2:47of the backfield, which is a massive
2:49massive boom in full PPR formats. Now,
2:52the other running back that we need to
2:54maybe talk about in this tier is going
2:56to be Mike Washington. Obviously, Aaron
2:59Jones was drafted in your league, Algier
3:00was drafted in your league, but Mike
3:02Washington we moved up a considerable
3:03amount. I will say with the update that
3:05we have right now regarding Asim Janji,
3:08it looks like things are incredibly
3:10positive. The latest report that we had
3:13from Clint Kubiak was Asim Janji is
3:15still on the mend, still working to get
3:18him back. We got another week to assess
3:20how he's going to look in his first
3:22game, but we're counting on him. So, it
3:25is a a good update for Janji. However,
3:29one, there is always a chance that Janji
3:31misses the first couple weeks with this
3:33ankle sprain. At this point, we don't
3:34have a ton of information regarding it.
3:37And two, on top of it, there's always
3:39chance for re-injury. So, in the final
3:42few roster spots when we're talking
3:43about rostering the high-upside guys,
3:46I'm going to be looking at the players
3:47that are an injury away from something
3:49going down. Mike Washington was a
3:51phenomenal, and I mean a phenomenal
3:53running back coming into the NFL draft.
3:56Yes, he did fall to day three, where
3:58typically these running backs don't get
3:59opportunity outside of if there was an
4:02injury in front of them, which
4:03Washington does have that option.
4:06Now, I'm going to assume Allgeier's
4:07rostered in your league. I'm going to
4:09assume that Woody Marks is rostered in
4:11your league, as well as Jordan Coleman.
4:14Maybe Keaontay Ingram is a name that we
4:16can discuss. Let me see where he's going
4:18in drafts. Yeah, right now ESPN ADP like
4:21170, sleeper 184. So, there's a damn
4:23good chance this is a name that is on
4:25your waiver wire. And I do think you
4:27should consider going through and giving
4:29him one of your final few roster spots.
4:32Again, going back to what we are looking
4:34at with the other guys, I want to be on
4:35record Keaontay Ingram is not going to
4:38do anything whatsoever if Amari Ingram
4:41is healthy. But, if we were to get an
4:44Amari Ingram injury, all of a sudden
4:46Keaontay Ingram would look to be the
4:47starting running back in a very good Los
4:50Angeles Chargers offense. And what's
4:52interesting to note is Mike McDaniel
4:54came over to Los Angeles, and he said
4:57the one guy that y'all have to get me is
5:00Keaontay Ingram. He printed out a photo
5:02of Keaontay Ingram, put it on the wall,
5:04and said, "This is the guy I want." That
5:06led to Keaontay Ingram getting $5
5:09million guaranteed at signing. To give
5:11you a reference of what some other
5:13running backs got paid this off-season,
5:15right? Um we can go over and we can look
5:16at Rachaad White, obviously I have
5:18Rachaad White ranked much, much higher
5:19cuz he has the clear path to potentially
5:21being the starter in his backfield. But,
5:23Rachaad White got $1.7 million
5:26guaranteed at signing in comparison to
5:28Keaontay Ingram at $5 million. So,
5:30premium head cut running back that I
5:32definitely think that you can look at.
5:34Um Tank Bigsby, Zach Charbonnet
5:36afterwards. I'm assuming that these guys
5:38are rostered in your league. Bigsby very
5:40similar thesis to what you would have
5:41with Keaontay Ingram, where it's just a
5:43pure handcuff to Saquon Barkley. And
5:46then once we get down to this tier, this
5:49is about the range where if you're in
5:51deeper, sharper leagues, these are
5:53probably the guys at the bottom end of
5:55your bench. Like right now in the Flock
5:56league, I have Brian Robinson on my
5:58bench. I have Ray Davis on my bench. In
6:00the Flock league, of course, Keaton
6:02Mitchell, Mike Washington. Um those guys
6:05are at a premium. They're either getting
6:07drafted or people are blowing their FAB
6:08budgets on them. But I will probably end
6:12up having to drop one of my handcuff
6:14running backs to pick up a defense and a
6:16kicker, which we'll talk about later in
6:18this video. But then again, these are
6:20the other handcuff running backs. I'll
6:22keep these rankings consistently up to
6:24date for y'all. Of course, if you have a
6:25season pass, you don't need to worry
6:27about missing anything. You can just
6:29access the rankings on flockfantasy.com
6:31whenever you want. Or you can access
6:33them on their brand new Flock Fantasy
6:36app. Yes, you heard that correctly. But
6:38regardless, if you don't have your
6:40season pass yet, make sure you get set
6:42up. It's 34 bucks for the entire year.
6:44You're going to get consistently updated
6:46rankings not only for myself, but all
6:48your favorite creators you watch on
6:49YouTube. And you are going to get access
6:52to all the redraft tools, whether it's
6:53the trade calculator, the My Teams page,
6:55the whole nine yards. Code Flock also
6:58gets you free start/sit trade questions
6:59you can ask me in the live streams. And
7:01I'm live streaming every single night
7:03until Christmas. You can find the link
7:04in the description and the comment
7:06section. But let's move over and let's
7:10maybe instead look at some of the wide
7:12receivers here that could be an
7:15interesting waiver wire pickup. So
7:17obviously, we're going to skim by all
7:19these guys inside the top 50. I mean,
7:21I'm going to assume that every single
7:22one of those guys is drafted in your
7:24league. I'm going to assume that Myers,
7:26Deebo, Coker, Dobbs, these guys are
7:29probably drafted as well. Now once we
7:31get down to this range of wide receivers
7:34like Keenan Allen, Omar Cooper, Denzel
7:37Boston, Travis Hunter, Tajae Sharpe,
7:39Jennings, Trey Tucker, I'm going to be
7:41honest, I don't love rostering these
7:44players specifically.
7:47The reason being is like say you draft
7:50Omar Cooper Jr.
7:52Say you draft Denzel Boston.
7:55What information are you going to get
7:57week one or before this season starts
8:00that dramatically changes their value
8:02and makes them significantly better than
8:04any other wide receiver on the waiver
8:05wire?
8:07You're probably not going to get
8:08anything. Like in the instance in which
8:11Josh Jacobs is suspended, Jamal Williams
8:13jumps up to being like a top 25 running
8:16back in my rankings.
8:17The instance in which Garrett Wilson
8:19goes down with a torn ACL,
8:21Omar Cooper Jr. rises from like wide
8:24receiver 59
8:27up to like wide receiver 42.
8:30So,
8:31the final few spots that you have on
8:34your roster, whether it's the last few
8:36rounds of your draft or you're making
8:37waiver wire moves before the season gets
8:39here, I would not be interested in
8:42picking up any wide receivers. Again, in
8:44the flock league, what I have done every
8:46single year over the past three, which
8:48has helped me hit on running backs and
8:50ultimately finish with a top two record
8:52in back-to-back seasons,
8:55is I spend my final few roster spots on
8:58positions other than wide receiver. Get
9:00my wide receivers early. That way if an
9:02injury happens, all of a sudden we have
9:04a massive boom on that running back
9:06value.
9:07Now, let's move over to tight ends.
9:10Obviously, we're going to assume all
9:12these guys are rostered at the very top,
9:13right? Um, I know that Andrews sometimes
9:16goes undrafted, but in the vast majority
9:19of leagues, Mark Andrews gets drafted as
9:21well. Dallas Goedert gets drafted.
9:23Really, the only waiver wire tight end
9:26that I would like to point out here is
9:28going to be Juwan Johnson. Um, Juwan
9:30Johnson sleeper ADP pick like 188. This
9:32means uh there's a good chance that he
9:34is currently sitting out there on your
9:36waivers. Last year, he was the tight end
9:3812 in points per game, and you can tell
9:41I have moved him up my rankings. He's
9:43risen four tight end slots up over the
9:45past 30 days, and it's very simple why.
9:49The injury to Jordan Tyson all of a
9:52sudden opens up the window for Juwan
9:55Johnson to get see a considerable amount
9:57of volume.
9:58The only other competition for targets
10:01is going to be Chris Olave. Olave could
10:03have 30% of this team's target share,
10:06and then there is still going to be more
10:08than enough to go around. So say your
10:10first tight end that you drafted was
10:11like George Kittle, where it looks like
10:13Kittle's probably going to go week one,
10:15but not necessarily a guarantee. I think
10:17picking up Juwan Johnson as a play off
10:19the waiver wire would be incredibly
10:21smart.
10:22Now,
10:23I am going to have to go through and
10:25over the next 2 weeks or so before the
10:27season gets here, all the teams that
10:29I've drafted that I haven't taken a
10:30kicker, I haven't taken a defense,
10:33instead I'm rostering extra running
10:35backs, guys like Mike Washington, just
10:37in case they blow up, guys like Marsha
10:39Lloyd. I'm going to have to start
10:40dropping some of those running backs
10:42that haven't had an injury in front of
10:43them, maybe somebody like Sean Tucker,
10:45Raheem Davis, and I'm going to have to
10:46go over here and look at some kickers.
10:49Now, the kickers that should have been
10:51drafted in your league no matter what,
10:53Aubrey Fairbairn, Dicker, Myers. If any
10:57of these kickers are available, you
10:59sprint to the waiver wire and you pick
11:01them up right away. I'm actually going
11:02to move Myers over Dicker.
11:04Um I would also say the same thing about
11:06Cam Little, Jake Bates. I think Jake
11:08Bates is currently sitting on the waiver
11:09wire for the Flock league, so I'm going
11:10to go ahead and look at him. And then
11:13when it comes to defenses, again, I'm
11:16assuming the top defenses in your
11:18league, they were drafted, whether it
11:20was the Rams, whether it was the Texans,
11:22whether it was the Seahawks, whether it
11:24was the Broncos. If you are streaming
11:26defenses, here is your list. It's very
11:28simple. All you have to do is go to
11:30Google and type in week one implied team
11:34totals.
11:35Sports books are telling us that the
11:37offenses that are going to score the
11:38fewest amount of points week one, the
11:40Browns, the Cardinals, the Dolphins, the
11:42Jets, the Falcons, and the Patriots. And
11:45this pisses me the hell off cuz I have
11:46Drake Maye on my fantasy team. What do
11:48you mean that the Patriots are supposed
11:50to be a bottom six offense in the league
11:52this week?
11:53Laughable. Pisses me off.
11:56But anyway, this does give you really
11:58good info. The defenses that are high
12:01priority pickups will be the Chargers
12:04and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The
12:06Chargers are 10 and 1/2 point favorites
12:08over the Arizona Cardinals, and the
12:10Cardinals project to score 18 points.
12:12The Jacksonville Jaguars get to go up
12:14against Deshaun Watson, and the Browns
12:16are projected to score 16 and 1/2. So,
12:19these would be your top defensive
12:21streamers that you can maybe either take
12:22at the very end of your draft or the
12:24very big
12:27or pick up on the waiver wire right now.
12:29Now, for me personally, I prefer the
12:30Chargers between the two because the
12:32Chargers also get to play the Raiders in
12:34week two, so you get to use them for two
12:36weeks.
12:37But, I think that's all I got for you. I
12:39really appreciate you. I want to remind
12:40you that if you haven't already, make
