0:00Warning, these week one rankings look way different than what our rest of season rankings look like because we have ton of injury stuff and obviously
0:08crazy matchups. Now, starting off, the only running back in S tier, the only guy is Jir Gibbs. The Lions are sevenpoint favorites, so frankly, they
0:19should win this game easily. The overunder of this game is 50 points, so it should be super high scoring. And there is no competition whatsoever. I
0:30mean, go to the comment section right now. Let me know if you can name who the running back to for the Detroit Lions
0:35will be now that they lost David McGomery to Houston. And on top of that, Isaiah Pacheka, who they signed to replace Montgomery, is on the injured
0:43reserve. Gibbs is going to see every single touch. It's an elite offense.
0:47It's a good matchup. And frankly, I am terrified that this season may just be you either have Jir Gibbs or you lose.
0:55It may not be anything in between. Now, our number two running back is going to be Robinson. So, the Atlanta Falcons are
1:01projected out to be a really bad offense. Implied team total of 19.3 points. But unlike wide receiver, running backs can overcome bad offenses
1:11just with volume and volume alone. And Bejian, if we go back and look at what he did last season, this man had a
1:18ridiculous amount of targets, 6.1 targets per game. So with that in mind, he's probably going to get the ball checked down to him a ton from Tua. I
1:27don't love the matchup playing in Pittsburgh. But with McCaffrey, I don't love the matchup that much either. I mean, with CMC, you have to go up
1:35against the Los Angeles Rams on the other side of the planet. And typically, the Niners are going to project to be
1:42one of the better offenses in the league. They're going to be favored in a lot of games. But right now, you
1:46actually do have the NerS as three and a half point dogs to the ramps. Now, moving over to Btier. I'm gonna be
1:53starting Jonathan Taylor this week against the Baltimore Ravens, and I'm excited to do so. Yes, the Indianapolis Colts, garbage offense at the end of
2:01last season, but they have Daniel Jones back, and this should be a very high-scoring game. We have an overunder of 48 points. The Baltimore Ravens are
2:09favored, but it's not inconceivable that the Indianapolis Colts could lead this game. They are only three and a half point dogs. And very similar to Gibbs,
2:17there's no running back two at all in Indianapolis to compete with. Devon Achan really good matchup against the Raiders. The overunder this game's 40
2:26and a half. So with that being said, it's much higher than what we're going to have for a lot of these Miami games.
2:31Typically Miami is going to be um six, seven, eight, nine point dogs against most the teams that they play this year,
2:39but the Raiders aren't great. So it actually does project to be a somewhat competitive game that the Dolphins have the possibility to win. And Han very
2:47similar to Jonathan Taylor obviously is going to get every single touch in his backfield and use as a receiver. Now yesterday's video we were projecting out
2:55at least with what the predictions were telling us that the Lions Saints game was supposed to be the highest scoring game of the week. Well now that game is
3:04actually supposed to be the Cincinnati Bengals and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
3:08Right now, the Bengals are four-point favorites over the Bucks. Chase Brown should have every single touch. And if you wanted to rank Chase Brown over
3:17Devon Chan, I'm not going to fault you for it because the Bengals project to score about 10 more points than the
3:22Dolphins this week. But Amari Hampton is set up in the best spot imaginable. Now, of course, I have Jonathan Taylor on my
3:29own fantasy team. I would love to rank Jonathan Taylor's ahead of Amari and Hampton, but Hampton is a 10-point favorite here against the Arizona
3:38Cardinals. The Chargers right now on Poly Market US have an 82% chance of winning this game, which is a much higher percent chance than what we see
3:47with any other game on the slate this week. So, if it's supposed to be one of the highest scoring offenses in the
3:53league that is well ahead of their opponent through the majority of the contest, you'd assume they're going to run the ball a ton. And Katon Mitchell
4:01at the same time did miss a decent amount of camp. So, um, Amari Hampton could be in line for 25 plus touches
4:08this week. Now, of course, if you want to go out and check the odds for any of these games in week one, you can do so
4:14on Poly Market US, which is a prediction market. So, instead of you going up against the house, you are going up
4:20against actual other people. And when you sign up with Code Flock, you are also going to be getting $50 added to
4:27your account after you play your first 10. The link is in the description as well as the comment section. But moving
4:33over to Ctier, we have Saquon Barkley where the Philadelphia Eagles should win this game against the Commanders. They are five-point favorites and the Eagles
4:42are in line for a bounceback. a lot of weeks last year they were projected out at like 21 points scored, 22 points
4:48scored. The Commanders don't have a great defense and this offense should be a little bit more creative given the new offensive coordinator that they have and
4:56you would hope you get the big plays back from Barkley. Looking at Derrick Henry, the Ravens are supposed to win this game against the Indianapolis
5:04Colts. We don't exactly know what the passing rate over expectations going to be for this Baltimore Ravens offense given the fact that the offensive
5:12coordinator and really the entire coaching staff is different this year.
5:15Now, James Cook's going to be much much higher in a lot of the rankings videos that you see in the future. But as it
5:21stands right now, it is a brutal matchup against the Houston Texans. Typically, the Buffalo Bills are going to be heavily favored in whatever game they
5:29play, but right now they're favored by only one point. And on top of this, they project to be a middle of the road
5:34offense, only scoring about 22.75 points this week. So typically, if like the Bills are 13-point favorites over the Dolphins and they're supposed to be
5:44the highest scoring offense of the week, you're going to see James Cook up at like running back four, running back five in my ranks. But this is a really
5:51tough spot for him. And it's also a really tough spot for Kenneth Walker.
5:55Now, you're going to assume that week one, the Kansas City Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes' first game back from his torn ACL, they're probably going to lean on
6:02the run. They're probably going to slow it down, but it's just again a really tough matchup with two teams that have
6:09good defenses that want to run the ball.
6:11The overunder of this game is only 43 points. So, of course, it's supposed to be much lower scoring than what we have
6:17with like the Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts. So, um, Kenneth Walker, James Cook are pushed down these rankings due to the projections this
6:25week, which obviously going up against tough defenses will have those offenses much, much worse. But now, this is where we get to some bold calls. Now, my
6:34expectations for making this video right now will be that Kyle Manungai does not play week one. And if we have no Kyle
6:42Manung guy and all of a sudden we actually have the running back three Roshan having to step into that role, I
6:50think DeAndre Swift is just going to be an absolute hammer. The Chicago Bears project to score a ton of points here.
6:56They have an implied team total of 25 and the overunder this game is 47. So should be a really high scoring game in
7:02general. Now going over to Remandre Stevenson. I know a lot of y'all are going to be asking if you should start
7:07Raadre this week. This ranking is under the assumption you have no Trevian Henderson and there is no notable running back three to speak of in New
7:16England. So it really is just going to be Raadre and Raadre by himself. Now it is a brutal matchup against the Seattle
7:23Seahawks. Like I'm going to be live streaming on the Flock League channel throughout the entire game giving by New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks
7:31live reaction because I actually do have Drake May playing in that game. So, I would love the Patriots to score a ton
7:38of points, but we saw what happened in the Super Bowl. And at the same time, the Patriots project to be a worse
7:44offense this week than the Bears, the or really every offense we've talked about in this video outside of the Atlanta Falcons. So, I'm very much worried for
7:52my Drake May. And Readandre is a lock no matter what because he's going to get all the volume, but I think you should
7:57be a little concerned. Kyron Williams is a lock in which the Rams should be a great offense. While yes, you have the
8:03concern that they're playing on the other side of the world and Blake Cororm potentially has his role. Until we see Blake Cororm leaprog Kron Williams,
8:11Kairen Williams is higher in the rankings. Javvante Williams, really good matchup against the New York Giants. The overunder this game is 48 points. So, it
8:19should be a really high-scoring game.
8:20The Dallas Cowboys are also favored by three points. So, it's not going to be one of those contests where we see 50
8:27plus Dak Prescott dropbacks. Like, they should be able to run the ball here. And we saw Javvante Williams at the beginning of last season um really go
8:36through and look phenomenal until he ran out of juice. Now Travis CTN is going to be very high in the rankings this week.
8:42This should be a super high-scoring game. We should have no Alvin Kamara. We should have no Devin. We should have no
8:49running back here to take touches away from ETN. I wouldn't be surprised if very similar to Raadre Stevenson, Travis ETN plays 80 plus% of the snaps. And
8:58again, the projections have this as a very, very high-scoring game. But the hesitation that I'm going to be looking at with Travis is going to be the fact
9:08that the Saints are seven-point dogs going up against the Lions. So, possibly they do have to abandon the run at some
9:14point. Now, Bree Hall playing in Tennessee. This is the grossest game environment of the week. There's a 39 and a half point overunder. So, it
9:22should be an incredibly lowscoring game.
9:24And Bree Hall at the same times coming off the groin injury. So, I want to be a little bit hesitant with these players
9:30coming off of injuries, which is why also you will see Ashen Genty down here at the very bottom end of this tier at
9:3618. I'm going to be updating these rankings every single day on the site and also the app obviously if you have
9:41that. Um, but if we get positive word on Wednesday, on Thursday that Gent's 100% good to go, no limitations, then he'll
9:50fly up these rankings because it's a really good matchup against the Miami Dolphins. This is going to be one of the
9:55very few games all year in which the Raiders are favored, let alone favored by three and a half points. But I just
10:01don't know what to expect with the ankle injury. And it wouldn't be the most surprising thing in the world if we were
10:06to see Ashton Genty lose some work to Mike Washington early in the year. Now going over to our E tier, Cam Scataboo
10:13will be leading us off. With Scat, the expectations will be he is good to go week one. I mean, we're not being told
10:20anything about him missing practices right now. So, of course, I want to see how he looks coming off this ankle injury. And the Dallas Cowboys last year
10:27did improve as a rush defense in the second half of the season, but um frankly should be a super highscoring game, and there is a chance that they do
10:35lean a little runheavy at the very beginning with the new coaching staff.
10:39Bucky Irving is also supposed to be in a super high-scoring contest. 50 and a half points for the overunder of this
10:46game. So, I really like the idea of starting Bucky. And honestly, when I update these rankings tomorrow or the next day, I wouldn't be surprised if I
10:54move them at 19. My only worry would be if the Cincinnati Bengals were to run away with this game, do we get a lot of
11:00Kenneth Gainwell just in garbage time?
11:03But of course, the Bengals historically have really struggled at the beginning of the season. Now, Bashel Tuten at 21.
11:09Bashel Tutin is listed as the co-starter with Chris Rodriguez for week one on the Jacksonville Jaguars depth chart. But here's the deal. The Jags should have no
11:19problem scoring points. They have an an they have an implied team total of 24 and a half points and they are massive
11:26favorites. So, they should be able to run the ball consistently in the second half. They are favored by about eight and a half points in this game. Almost
11:33identical to what we discussed with Amari and Hampton playing the Arizona Cardinals. You actually do have Jacksonville with a 78% chance to be
11:41taking down the Cleveland Browns this week. So, it's damn likely that they are running the ball. And I think that we
11:46should assume Tuton is the guy until we see otherwise. David McGomery, it's a really tough matchup. A lot of these games, the Houston Texans will be
11:54favored, especially at home. They just have that good of a defense and they should be able to run the ball in the
11:59second half. I don't know about this week, though, because obviously this week you are playing against one of the best teams in the league, which is the
12:05Buffalo Bills. Now, moving over to Quinn Sean Judkins. Judkins. Yes, they are massive dogs playing in Jacksonville, but this is going to be the case every
12:15single week. And this is why Quinn Sean Judkins was not a Btier level running back for me. It's why he was not a
12:22C-tier level running back for me. It's why he's a low-end running back two, high-end running back three. The Cleveland Browns project to score 16
12:30points this week. Garbage. God awful.
12:33like going over and looking at Jeremiah Love, it's the same instance here with Love. The Arizona Cardinals project to score 18 and a half points. So, the
12:42ceiling is naturally going to be capped on these running backs in garbage offenses. And also, again, if we are looking at the case of Jeremiah Love,
12:50Tyler Algier just got named the week one starter. Jeremiah Love is the second running back on this depth chart. Now, do I think that's actually going to be
12:58the case? No. I think they're going to get to the game. They're going to give the ball to the better running back,
13:01which is Love. But coming off a high ankle sprain, maybe he's not 100%. I want to fault you for going, "Hey, with
13:09these rookies, I want to see it before I believe it." Now, of course, typically with a rookie like Jeremiah Love, he'd
13:15be a top 12 guy immediately for us. It's just tough because he's coming off the high ankle sprains. So, I think they do
13:20use Tyler Algier. Now, Marshon Lloyd will be our next guy at 25. Um, this should be a decent game environment. 46
13:28point overunder. And Marshall Lloyd does project to be the full-blown starter for the Green Bay Packers, but I would almost want to treat him like a rookie,
13:36even though he's going into year three.
13:37He's never done anything in the NFL. And I almost want to say, let me see it before I believe it. Let me see what the
13:42role looks like here in Green Bay. I want to say the same thing with Jaylen Warren because Jaylen Warren was officially announced as the starting
13:50running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers. And it's not the worst game environment in the world where the Steelers project to be an average
13:56offense this week. They are three and a half point favorites as well. So there is reason to believe that they can run
14:01the ball in the second half. But I would rather see exactly what the split is with Rico Dowel. Jadarian Price at 27.
14:08With Jadarian Price, I am super interested to see what his role is week one. And it wouldn't be a surprise at
14:14all if he ends up rising 10 spots for our week two rankings. But this matchup here against the New England Patriots
14:21isn't necessarily the best. These are two teams that have respectable defenses. Obviously, the Seattle defense is better, but nonetheless, um, again
14:29with the rookies, same thing at wide receiver. I am fine benching our rookie running backs and our rookie rookie wide receivers until they break out and then
14:38going, "Okay, I can trust you and put you in my lineup every week." Tony Pard, this is one of the very few weeks that
14:44you could start him if you really wanted to because the setup that you have with Pard here is going to be it's a close
14:50game against the New York Jets. The Tennessee Titans are actually favored in this game, which will be one of the very
14:56few games that happens in all season long. Now, moving over to our Gtier, we are going to have Jonathan Brooks and
15:02Chuba Hubard ranked effectively backtoback. I think this is going to be the most important backfield to see what happens with the practice reports and
15:10the coach speak Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. I wouldn't be surprised if these two guys separated in my rankings by Sunday morning. But almost no matter
15:20what, even if it's a good game environment, I would rather wait to see what they do before I trust them in my
15:26lineup. Rico Dattle, you could start because it's a good matchup, but again, I don't want to trust them when Jaylen Warren's listed as the starter. RJ
15:33Harvey and all the Denver Broncos running backs, I really want to avoid putting in my lineup this week. It is a
15:39brutal matchup going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. Like for reference, the Denver Broncos this week, they project to score fewer points than the
15:47Tennessee Titans. Now, you may say, "Well, Mason, these projections don't mean anything." But I've said over and over again for years that we want to
15:57look at the people making those markets and acknowledge the fact that, hey, they're smarter than I am. They're probably smarter than you are as well.
16:04When they are making the spreads, when they're making the overunders, they have access to information that I don't, that you don't. and they're probably just
16:12genuinely more intelligent than I am.
16:14So, if they're telling me that the Denver Broncos are going to be a garbage offense this week against the Kansas City Chiefs, I want to listen to them.
16:20Um Blake Cororm, I would be very excited to see what the role is against the Niners. I wouldn't be surprised if he
16:27jumps in a big time way in our week 2 rankings, not trusting him week one. And then going over and looking at Jordan
16:33Mason, it's a good match up against the Packers. I do not want to trust him week one, though. The word is it seems like
16:39he is going to be the starting running back, but again, [sighs] we we've never seen him be productive outside of two weeks as a Niner. Now,
16:48going to our last tier, these are guys that maybe you consider putting in your lineup. I would not. The Commanders guys, horrible matchups. They project to
16:56score fewer than 20 points this week.
16:58Again, this is another offense that projects to be worse than the Tennessee Titans. It's a really tough matchup playing in Philadelphia, and we don't
17:05know what the role is going to be. While Tyler Algier is technically listed as the starter over Jeremiah Love, I think
17:10Love's the better running back. And I really don't want to play Algier in a tough matchup against the Chargers where they're 10-point dogs. And then with
17:18Gainwell, if the Bengals were to go through and run away with the game, maybe we see him a lot in the second
17:22half. But I definitely don't want to start Gainwell until we see what that role looks like. But I really appreciate you. I really hope that I was able to
17:29help you out in some way with this video. And I want to remind you, I'm going to be live streaming answering
