0:00While I care so much about your fantasy team and I really want you to win your league this year, to be honest with you,
0:06I don't care about your team as much as I care about my own. Right. The biggest thing I have in life is the flock
0:12league. I need to win this year. There's a $200,000 prize pool. If I get dead last, my entire bloodline is going to be
0:20embarrassed until the end of time with the punishments that I'm going to have to do. So, let me talk about every
0:27single pick that I made. And I'll be honest, a lot of them were mistakes.
0:31Now, starting off with the first round, it was very simple. When I was on the clock at pick eight, I mean, I was going
0:37to be looking at about one of three players. It was either going to be Christian McCaffrey, Aman Ross St.
0:43Brown, or Jonathan Taylor. I was fine with any one of these three names. If I had St. Brown fall to me at the eighth
0:50pick, I knew I was going to be able to get a running back in the second round that I felt fine with. And then
0:55obviously if I went CMC, if I went Taylor, it was going to open up the flexibility for me to build out the team
1:02that I wanted to by taking best player available in the middle rounds. Now, if you went back and watched my number one
1:08draft strategy video this year, what was the rule that we have in that video?
1:13That rule is through the first two rounds in fantasy drafts this season, you need to take a running back. And the
1:20reason for this is very simple. If we go through and if we look at running back historical cost in fantasy football
1:26drafts this year in comparison to 2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, running backs are more expensive than they've ever
1:37been. Whether you're drafting a running back one, whether you're drafting a running back two, whether you're drafting a running back three, but the
1:43prices could only inflate so much in the first and second rounds. So honestly, I think the running backs in rounds one
1:50and two are slightly overdrafted, but the running backs in rounds three, four, five, six are horrible cost. And you don't want to be the guy having to take
2:00running backs in those rounds. So very important that we get our running backs early, which is why in round two, I had
2:06my eyes set on a running back. This is why I chose the eighth pick in this league in particular. To be honest with
2:12you, if you're in a league where you're going up against just regular high school buddies, college buddies that aren't living, breathing, dying fantasy
2:21football the way that everybody in the Flock league does, I actually probably would have rather had pick four or five because you could have gotten lucky and
2:29you could have had one of these round two running backs falling to you after you took JSN in the first round. This
2:35league that wasn't happening. this league. I knew the running backs were going to go early. So, I was going to be
2:39looking at one of Ashton Genty, Amarian Hampton, Devon Achan, Saquon Barkley, and then Kenneth Walker. Now, of course, you know, I do a ton of scouting going
2:50into the draft. And what I had seen is I had seen that Mr. Samuel L. Staxs, who was going to be picking after me, loved
2:58him, Kenneth Walker. And Danny Lad liked Kenneth Walker as well. So, I actually thought that they were going to go Walker at the beginning of round two,
3:06which was going to give me a fall of Saquon Barkley, Achan, Oramari, and Hampton. Sadly, I misread the room.
3:14Sadly, Genty went in head instead. So, I ended up getting Kenneth Walker in the second. Now, I'll be honest, Kenneth Walker's not my favorite running back in
3:24this range. I would way rather have Barkley. I'd way rather have Aan, way rather have Hampton. I may or may not
3:29have absolutely raged during the draft once I got sniped on Saquon Barkley, but I still felt comfortable with the start of JT and Walker because of the
3:39flexibility it was going to give us through the middle rounds. Now, as we went to round three, I mean, I was
3:46pretty certain I was drafting a wide receiver here. Maybe we had a weird fall like Kairen Williams. Maybe we had a
3:52weird fall with Jeremiah Love, but no, those guys went earlier in round three.
3:57So, the wide receiver I was looking at that I so desperately wanted was George Pickins, but Pickins got sniped right before me. I was just getting sniped
4:06left and right in this draft. It was really tough drafting next to Avery and Zack. So, I ended up drafting Chris Ave,
4:12which I mean, hindsight being 2020 was a phenomenal pick because Jordan Tyson got injured a couple days after our draft, but I may or may not have sold the bag
4:23and traded away a l before that. Jordan Tyson injury was announced. We'll talk about our Tyson pick in just one second.
4:30But going over to the fourth round, I was planning on taking a wide receiver here yet again. My plan A was Tedoa
4:37McMillan. And the reason for this is I knew a lot of people in my league, they loved Ibuka, right? I thought Ibuka was
4:43going to be going at the end of the third, but instead he slipped to the middle of the fourth round for me. And
4:49again, this is where I believe that the wide receiver values are for your league. I wanted to start running backs.
4:56Even if I think that the RB ones are slightly overdrafted this year, the running backs in rounds four and five are way overdrafted. So, we got Igbuka
5:06in the fourth. I felt really good. Keep in mind, the Flock League is a double flex full PPR format. So, what I have
5:13done in this league over the past couple years is I have built around incredible wide receiver depth. This is what's actually led to me winning the most
5:21games in the Flock League over the past two years and earning a buy, finishing as a top two team in back-to-back

6:06me during the year. But as we transition over to the fifth round, surprise surprise, I get sniped yet again. My eyes got big. They lit up. I thought I
6:16was going to be getting Devonte Adams, but Adams went one pick before me. So then the big question that I had was, do
6:23I go with Jameson Williams? Do I go with Luther Burden? Do I go with Roma Dunce?
6:27And honestly, I decided to go ahead and take JMO. I really like Jameson this year based on what we saw with the
6:34breakout that he had at the end of last season. And what we don't ever talk about with Jameson is the 1% chance or
6:43the 5% chance, whatever it may be, that we were to see an Aman Ro St. Brown injury. If that were to occur, Jameson
6:50Williams probably immediately projects to be a top 10 wide receiver. So, I think he is a good value for these league settings in the fifth. But, I
6:58think he does have that contingent upside where if something were to occur to St. round. JMO probably becomes um a top 24 player in fantasy. Now, moving
7:08over to round six, I felt really proud of this selection and honestly a little bit lucky because if my league mates
7:15really locked in and focused in this round, what we probably would have seen is we probably would have seen Nathan decide to grab DJ Moore, maybe Sammy
7:24Stacks as well as Danny decide to grab Christian Watson, and then in the middle of the sixth round, I would have been
7:30having to go back and forth, figure out, do I want to take the elite quarterback or do I want to go with um a lesser wide
7:36receiver like Marvin Harrison? But it was a nobrainer decision for me when I saw Christian Watson fall to me in the
7:43middle of round six. And yes, we are drafting Christian Watson as our fourth wide receiver. But again, this is a full
7:50PPR format where it's a double flex league and you can start four wide receivers weekly. So, it was kind of a
7:55no-brainer for me to grab Christian Watson here. And honestly, even though I was a little bit frustrated after having to start my draft, JT and Walker, I
8:04mean, again, Walker not being my favorite running back in that tier, I was over the moon as we went through the
8:09first six rounds, and I was able to slam those receivers. Now, in round seven, I don't know if I got baited. I don't know
8:16if I should have waited, but I decided to take Drake May. Now, I think in the vast majority of your leagues, Drake
8:22May, phenomenal pick here. If you get Drake May, who is the quarterback, two in fantasy last season in his second NFL
8:30season, and now he gets AJ Brown added to his offense and you get that type of production in the seventh round. That's
8:36incredible. You should do a backflip and jump over the moon. But here in the Flock League, I knew quarterbacks were going to fall a ton, right? It's a
8:44six-point passing touchdown format as well. So, you don't really need a quarterback that has a ton of rushing upside. like Jackson Dart actually is
8:52sitting out there on the waiverwire in the flock league at the moment. We even have guys like Brock Pery that was
8:57getting drafted after kickers and defenses. Jared Goff getting drafted after kickers and defenses. So, I was very excited to make the Drake May
9:05selection in round seven. But hindsight being 2020, I don't know if it was the best pick in the world. I think we
9:11possibly could have waited even longer on quarterback to see if we could potentially get I don't know like Raandre Stevenson is a more stable
9:20running back three and see if we just grab Dak Prescott in round 10. Now moving over to the eighth round. This
9:27was clearly a mistake. I am rocking the Jordan Tyson jersey. Now here's my thought process. Right, we did this draft a couple days before it was
9:36announced that Jordan Tyson is going to be missing two months. Right before this draft, we had the report from Adam Shepy
9:43where he came through and he said, "Yeah, Jordan Tyson just injured his hamstring yet again." And I'm sitting there going back and forth going, "Okay,
9:51there's still five weeks until the NFL season starts or four weeks, whatever it may have been." So, I was like, he just
9:57injured his hamstring. Maybe he's out three, four, five weeks. Maybe this injury lingers a week or two into the year. But, this was a wide receiver that
10:06previously I had ranked as a sixthround pick. And I am shooting for the highest ceiling possible in the Flock League this year, which of course you'll see
10:14this. We're putting out videos every single day on that channel during the season. I can't freaking wait. It is $5,000 for the highest scoring team
10:22every week. And it's $100,000 to first place. What my team has done every single year is I have dominated the regular season. I have earned a buy and
10:32then in the semi-finals of the playoffs, I lose. And it's not even remotely close. I haven't even had a good sweat.
10:38my team just absolutely craps the bed.
10:40So, my thought process in this draft was I want to take risk. Yes, there are severe punishments for being last place.
10:47Yes, you have to be ridiculed, but I'm ridiculed every single day by the comment section, so I'm used to it at
10:52this point. So, I said in that video, we're going to risk it for the biscuit.
10:57I took Jordan Tyson to the eighth, not playing it safe. The other wide receivers that went right after him were Michael Wilson and Stefon Diggs. And
11:05then a couple days later after this selection, we did get the news that Jordan Tyson is going to be missing two
11:12months, which probably means he doesn't come into his rookie season until weeks five, six, seven. He has the by-week in week eight. So, I probably can't plan on
11:20starting him until week nine at the earliest. So, this was a bad pick. It was too early. At the time, obviously,
11:26we didn't know. I wanted to go for the ceiling. I wanted to try to win the 100,000 and get all the glory, but it's
11:33not the end of the world. Since we have an IR slot, I am going to be able to move Jordan Tyson to the IR and then
11:38just play the Waverwire at the beginning of the year. Now, moving over to our next round, um, this was a no-brainer
11:44pick for me. I mean, yes, we could have looked at a couple potential starting running backs with Aaron Jones and Chris
11:49Rodriguez, but I thought the ceiling there was a little bit capped. We had yet to draft a tight end, so what I was
11:55looking at was either Kyle Pittz or Harold Fannon. I was going back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, but ultimately I decided to go with Kyle
12:04Pittz. The man dropped 45 points in the fantasy playoffs last year in a single week. He's still incredibly young and there's really no top option in that
12:13offense to catch the ball outside of Drake London. So, I went with Pitts in the ninth. I think it was the correct
12:18call. Harold Fannon did go the pick right after which I think that was the correct call by Zach as well. But yeah,
12:25I just felt like we needed a tight end and Pitts in the ninth round was a good value at this point. Going over to the
12:3010th, maybe my eyes got too big. Maybe I just wanted to have a Texas Longhorn on my team, but I took Xavier worthy. Now, if
12:39you're using our draft sheets and you're drafting in two wide receiver, one flex format, more likely than not, the draft sheets would have told you go ahead and
12:47take a running back here, right? But because we can start four wide receivers weekly, and at the same time, we had
12:53Jordan Tyson already with the hamstring injury. I didn't know he was going to be out two months. I felt like it wasn't
12:58the worst thing in the world to take a shot on an upside wide receiver that I think could be a top 24 name in the
13:04Kansas City Chiefs this year if he's able to stay healthy. So, I took Worthy in the 10th. Was it the best pick ever?
13:10No, of course not. But, um, it is what it is. I at least wanted one Texas Longhorn to root for. Now, in the 11th,
13:17my injury luck continued to be absolute crap. I thought it was crazy that Jaden Higgins had fallen this far. I mean, the
13:26next wide receivers that were drafted after him were Caleb Douglas and Cyrus Allen. So, I saw Jaden Higgins, my eyes lit up. There was no injury report at
13:36all on him. He was 100% healthy at the time of the draft pick. I actually thought it was an incredible pick where
13:42we just got straight up unlucky. He tore his ACL a couple days later. It is what it is. I've already dropped him for my
13:48team. I'm going to have to go to the waiverwire. I'm going to have to pick up somebody like Omar Cooper to fill in.
13:54But yeah, I mean having the run out where we got the negative Jordan Tyson injury news and then the negative Jaden
14:00Higgins injury news did really hurt our later picks. But it's at least better than seeing JT or Kenneth Walker go down. Now, in the following rounds, I
14:09decided to take Daltton Concaid. This is something very similar to what I did in the Flock League last year. Last year in
14:15the Flock League, I waited until the very end to grab my first tight end, and I took TJ Hawinson. But the tight ends
14:22are essentially free in this league.
14:23Most people are only going to take one.
14:25So, what I did is I took Concaid. What is this in round 12? The players that went right after him at running back
14:31were like Taji Spears, Emtt Johnson. The guys at wide receivers that went right after him were Dantavian Wigs, Trey Harris, and Pat Bryant. So, honestly, if
14:39I had to figure out, do I want to put Dantavian Wigs or Dalton Concaid in my flex spot, I would probably have rather
14:44had the tight end. And what we saw last year when I did this in the Flock League was the second tight end I drafted in
14:50Dallas ended up being my starting tight end over TJ Hawinson anyway. So, I think there's a nonzero% chance that Daltton Concincaid ends up actually playing over
15:00Cal Pitts, but we're just going to see how this shakes out at the beginning of the season. I think it was a fine
15:04selection to take him here. Now, again, I talked about this in the Jinxy video.
15:08If you hadn't had a chance to see yet, in yesterday's video, I outlined Jinxy's draft that was in the Flock League. Same
15:15draft, obviously, and he took the Denver Broncos in the 13th round. I'm not going to lie, I saw him do that and I went,
15:22great signal. I think that's a really sharp move. So, I decided to go through and take the Los Angeles Rams here as
15:28well because again, the final three, four rounds in your fantasy draft, all these guys are going to get cut anyway.
15:34And while the Rams have a pretty tough schedule to open up the year, I think with the addition of Miles Garrett, they
15:39could be the best defense in the league with the best team in the league this season. And then our final two picks,
15:44um, very similar to Jinxy, I think Jinxy did perfectly here where he took Brayan Allen, James Connor. I wanted to take
15:50running backs where if an injury were to occur to the guy in front of them over the next month, they could vault up
15:56massively in value. That was names like Ray Davis and Shawn Tucker. Now, keep in mind what's most likely going to happen
16:03is I'm probably going to cut these running backs in a few weeks if James Connor and Baky Irving manage to stay
16:08healthy and I'll just pick up a kicker that I can go through and put in my starting lineup. But looking back at my
16:14draft of obviously we got unlucky with the Jordan Tyson and Jaden Higgins injury news. It sucks to suck. The biggest hole on our roster is the fact
16:24that we don't have a running back three which I'm fine with because we have our two anchors now. It will lower our floor
16:31dramatically though because if we do get a JT injury, if we get a Kenneth Walker injury, then hell, all of a sudden we
16:38have the worst team in the league and I may be having to do the weekly punishments, embarrassing everybody that shares the last name Dodd and maybe my
16:47parents will never look at me the same again. So, I'll be honest. I am worried about the running back three situation,
16:54but it's not the end of the world because we could always make a trade or two. And yeah, I like the team. I think
17:00if Jordan Tyson and Jaden Higgins would have stayed healthy, we would currently have the best team in the league. But sadly with their injuries, I think we're
17:08more so sitting middle of the pack. But frankly, it doesn't matter because what I have proven year after year in this
17:14league is I'm going to outwork these guys with trades. I'm going to outwork these guys with the waiverwire. You can follow along all season long on the
