Alvin Kamara

PositiveUsage7:19

Alvin Kamara is confirmed healthy and ready to play for Sunday. Despite initial concerns regarding a sprained MCL, he is considered a safe handcuff option with significant receiving upside, making him a top waiver wire priority for the source.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeInjury3:42

Brock Bowers is undergoing meniscus surgery. While the team suggests a one-to-two-week absence, the source expects a more realistic four-to-six-week recovery timeline.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveSleeper10:02

Chris Bell is recommended as a waiver wire pickup for deep leagues. Despite a severe injury that led many to believe he would miss his rookie season, his rehab has gone well and he is expected to play week one. He is ranked ahead of Devon Vele, Malachi Fields, and Jaylen Naylor.

Insight page

Demarcus Robinson

NegativeValue0:34

The source advises against picking up Demarcus Robinson off the waiver wire, noting that he has never averaged more than six fantasy points per game since entering the league in 2016.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

NegativeBust3:33

The source considers Demario Douglas a trap and advises against picking him up following the AJ Brown injury.

Insight page

Devin Neal

NegativeDepth Chart8:49

Devin Neal is mentioned as part of the depth chart behind Travis Etienne that has been impacted by injuries.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue8:54

Josh Jacobs is a potential waiver wire target in shallow (10-team) leagues. The source notes he is surprisingly available in many leagues; with legal proceedings moving toward a resolution, a suspension announcement may come sooner than expected, potentially leading managers to drop him prematurely.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeDepth Chart8:47

Kendre Miller is noted as part of the depth chart behind Travis Etienne that has been decimated by injuries.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

NegativeValue4:04

Michael Mayer is a recommended waiver wire pickup due to the Brock Bowers injury, though the source notes his long-term viability is likely limited.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeProjection2:09

Despite AJ Brown's injury, the source is keeping Romeo Dobs ranked around WR54, citing a lack of trust following a zero-point performance in his last game, though he may now be the team's WR1.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury0:55

Sam Darnold is expected to miss only one to two weeks due to his injury, with no significant fantasy waiver wire implications.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeProjection8:20

The return of Alvin Kamara negatively impacts Travis Etienne's fantasy outlook; the source previously boosted Etienne's rankings under the assumption that Kamara would miss significant time.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveBreakout5:24

Trey Tucker is a priority waiver wire pickup who has moved up the source's rankings; he is expected to serve as the WR1 in his offense following the Bowers injury. Prediction markets currently assign a 46% probability to him recording over 50 receiving yards this Sunday. The source recommends cutting players like Jacobe Lane to roster him.

0:00Before Sunday gets kicked off, I
0:01actually just placed two waiverwire
0:03pickups in my own fantasy league. And I
0:06want to talk about some guys that I
0:07think you should maybe be looking at as
0:09well. And yes, we've had some good
0:10injury updates. One, Dean Shribbling did
0:13not pop his Achilles. Instead, it does
0:15look like this was just an ankle. Now,
0:17of course, I'm going to assume that
0:19we're not seeing him for a very long
0:21time based on how scary that looked, but
0:23we should get official word on how
0:25severe it is in the coming days. Now,
0:27the only name that you would maybe look
0:30at picking up off the waiverwire given
0:32this dribbling injury would be like the
0:34guy who popped yesterday, Demarcus
0:36Robinson, but for the love of God, don't
0:38bother with this. Like, let's go through
0:40and let's look at what he actually gave
0:41you in his entire NFL career in fantasy
0:44football. And he has never, and I
0:46repeat, he has never had more than six
0:49fantasy points per game. And this dude's
0:51been in the league since 2016. So, do
0:53not waste a roster spot picking him up.
0:55The other update that we have is Sam
0:57Darnold's only going to be missing one
0:58to two weeks. No waverwire implications
1:01outside of maybe we can go through and
1:03take a little peek at who the Seahawks
1:06are going to be playing week two and see
1:08is there a defensive streamer that we
1:11could be looking at. And the answer to
1:12that is most likely not because it's the
1:15Arizona Cardinals. And then lastly, AJ
1:17Brown officially placed on the IR. So
1:19with the AJ Brown stuff, here's the
1:21deal. If you would have told me before
1:23the season that AJ Brown was going to be
1:26hitting the IR after week one, I would
1:29have assumed Romeo Dobs would need to
1:31skyrocket up our rankings. However, I'm
1:34going to be leaving Romeo Dobs here at
1:36like wide receiver 54. I don't think
1:38that this is somebody that you can trust
1:40based on him having to straight up goose
1:42egg in Wednesday's game. So definitely
1:45don't cut Romeo Dobs because again it
1:48looks like he may be the wide receiver
1:49one now with the AJ Brown injury and
1:51maybe it was just a slow opening game
1:53for him. The other names that you would
1:55have in New England that I know some
1:57people would be looking at. You could go
1:59over and see M. Collins was the guy that
2:01looked good once AJ Brown went down. Do
2:04not trust M. Collins. Very similar to
2:06Demarcus Robinson. He has been in the
2:07NFL forever. He's in his 30s and he's
2:10never done anything in fantasy football.
2:13and the Demario Douglas maybe some
2:15people are looking at but again I think
2:16all those names are traps I want to be
2:18interested in a single one of them. Now
2:20going over to something I do think
2:22matters for the waiverwire we have Brock
2:24Bowers obviously getting the meniscus
2:27surgery and while the team is saying
2:30he's going to be out 1 to two weeks
2:32looks like he's most likely going to be
2:34out closer to 4 to six with general
2:36timetable recovery. Well, a big thing
2:39that I just saw happen in my fantasy
2:41football league, the Flock League, was
2:44Sal laid the hammer on to go ahead and
2:46pick up Michael Mayer. Now, in terms of
2:49Michael Mayer's viability long-term rest
2:52of season, it's probably not great, but
2:54I think I would cut AJ Barner. I think I
2:56would cut Daltton Schultz. I think I
2:58would cut Chick. I think I would cut TJ
3:00Hawinson for him. I think I'd put him
3:02about tight end 19 because again,
3:04realistically for me, I'm not expecting
3:06this to be a one to two week injury for
3:08Bowers. I think it'll be a little bit
3:10longer. But the guy that people are
3:13overlooking with the Bowowers injury is
3:15instead going to be at the wide receiver
3:17position. And I'm going to try to keep
3:19this quiet because again, I want to be
3:21able to pick him up in my league's
3:23waiverwire. Um Trey Tucker, I did move
3:25up our rankings quite dramatically. If
3:27you had Shahed, if you had like Omar
3:29Cooper, Denzel Boston, Jacobe Lane, I
3:32would cut them for Trey Tucker at this
3:34point because he should be the number
3:37one wide receiver in this offense. And
3:39now all of a sudden, they are going to
3:40have to get targets in his direction
3:42with the injury of Bowers. What's
3:44actually crazy at this point is if we go
3:46through and look at the updated market
3:48maker projections that we have, we could
3:51see that you have a 46% chance for Trey
3:55Tucker to go over 50 receiving yards on
3:58Poly Market US at the moment, which is
4:00very similar to some of those other
4:02names like Chris Godwin that look to be
4:04jams this week. So, I would definitely
4:07pick them up. I have a bid in my own
4:09league forum. If you're in a 10 team
4:11format, obviously it's a little bit
4:13tougher. But of course, if y'all ever
4:14want to go out there and check out any
4:16of these markets on Poly Market, the
4:18link's always in the description. It's
4:20in the comment section. If you sign up
4:22with code flock, you are going to get
4:23$50 added to your account after you
4:25deposit your first 10. And Poly Market
4:28is available in almost every single
4:30state minus Nevada. Now, let's go ahead
4:33and let's dive into our next piece of
4:36news, which is actually going to hurt my
4:39own fantasy team, but that is Alvin
4:41Kamar is good to go for this Sunday.
4:43Kamar was dropped in the Flock League
4:46because one, Nathan thought, "Oh, okay.
4:49Well, Kamara sprained MCL. He's going to
4:51be missing a significant amount of time.
4:53Why am I to go through and roster an
4:55injured backup running back?" I thought
4:58the same thing, right? When Kamar went
5:00down, what did I do? I jacked Travis TN
5:03up my rankings. Hell, I had Travis ETN
5:05on my own fantasy team and I thought I
5:07was in a beautiful situation.
5:10Sucks that Kamar's back week one hurts
5:12Travis TN. But if we were going to go
5:14ahead and look at Alvin Kamara, it's a
5:17very safe bet on a handcuff running back
5:20because, you know, he has the receiving
5:22upside. I have no idea if Alvin Kamara
5:25has any juice at all, but the depth
5:27chart behind Travis ETN with Kendra
5:29Miller, with Devin Neil, it's been
5:32decimated with injuries that if ETN were
5:35to go down, there's a damn good chance
5:37in a full PPR format, I myself would
5:40have to start Kamara. So, this is the
5:42other player that I currently have a bid
5:44in in the Flock League that hopefully
5:46I'm able to pick him up Saturday
5:48morning. Now, for the love of God, um I
5:50am dulging secrets I probably should
5:52hold close to the chest. So, drop a like
5:54and subscribe if you haven't already as
5:56I'm hurting myself in my own fantasy
5:58league trying to help y'all. Now, going
6:00over to our next relevant fantasy
6:02pickup. It is going to be Chris Bell.
6:04So, let me just tell you about this
6:05rookie Chris Bell. This was a wide
6:07receiver that came into the NFL draft
6:09with a significant injury that most
6:11people, including myself, thought he
6:12would do absolutely nothing as a rookie,
6:14so he wasn't worth a draft pick. I did
6:16so many basketball drafts. I had so many
6:18drafts in general where I wouldn't
6:21consider Bell because I thought we
6:23weren't getting him back until
6:24Thanksgiving this year. He was a very
6:27good prospect coming into the NFL draft,
6:29but he went in round three of the NFL
6:31draft. The reason being is again the
6:34severe injury. A lot of people thought
6:35he was going to be missing his rookie
6:37season, but it sounds like his rehab
6:39went incredibly well and he's gonna be
6:42out there week one. So if you are in a
6:45deeper format, I did move Chris Bell
6:47ahead of these other guys like Devon
6:49Vele, Malachi Fields, uh Jaylen Naylor,
6:52where I think Chris Bell is worth a
6:54roster spot in super deep leagues. Now,
6:56of course, if you're in a little bit of
6:58a shallower format, then um don't look
7:00at him in a 10 team league. For the love
7:02of God, don't go there. But I do want to
7:04show y'all something that will help you
7:06figure out which one of these players
7:08would be worth picking up in your
7:10fantasy league. And that is just the my
7:12teams page on
7:13flockfantasy.com/theflockfantasy
7:15app. Like you can go over this is my
7:18team in the flock league right now. You
7:19can see actually that we have it sorted
7:21by rest of season rankings here to see
7:23who the best pickups would be. And what
7:26you can also do is you can actually sort
7:28this by the rankings of your favorite
7:29expert. So my rankings are up to date
7:33every single day and you can go through
7:35and look at them where I have Alvin
7:36Kamara and Caleb Johnson as the best
7:39pickups in my league. I have Trey Tucker
7:42as the best wide receiver pickup, which
7:44again is why I personally have those
7:46claims in for those players, but if
7:48you're in like a 10 team format, there's
7:50no reason why you would ever look at a
7:52player like Chris Bell. But if you are
7:55in a 10 team league, maybe just maybe a
7:57name that you could be interested in
8:00would be Josh Jacobs. We did get the
8:02official report that Josh Jacobs had
8:04pleaded no contest to his charges. It
8:08sounds like the court process has
8:09primarily already played out. And what
8:11that's most likely going to lead to is
8:13him getting the suspension announcement
8:15earlier than we were previously worried
8:17about, right? Because when he goes on
8:19the commissioner exempt list, the
8:20concern is crap. This isn't going to get
8:22dealt with until November and then we'll
8:25have no clarity throughout the entire
8:26year. But there is a damn good chance
8:28that any day now we get the news that
8:30Josh Jacobs has the six-game suspension,
8:33the sevename suspension, the eightgame
8:35suspension, and then all of a sudden if
8:37you were in a shallow format like a 10
8:38team league and for whatever reason
8:40somebody dropped them, you can scoop a
8:42cheap running back too almost guaranteed
8:45off the waiver wire for free. I know 99%
8:47of leagues Jacob's not going to be
8:49available, but I am live streaming every
8:51single day looking at your fantasy
8:52teams, looking at your fantasy leagues,
8:54and there have been more than a handful
8:56of leagues in which Jacobs is somehow
8:58out there on the waiverwire. Again,
9:00those are for the shallower formats. But
9:03I think that's all I got for you. I
9:04really appreciate you. I hope I was able
9:06to help you out in some way with this
9:07video. Please send up a prayer that I
9:09end up getting my own waiverwire pickups
9:12in my league, which are going to be Trey
9:13Tucker and Alvin Kamara. But if you
9:16wanted to go through and check out any
9:18of those prediction markets on Poly
9:20Market, again, right now there is a 46%
9:23chance that we end up seeing Trey Tucker
9:24have more than 50 receiving yards this
9:27Sunday. The links in the description,
9:29the links in the comment section. And
9:32when you sign up with Code Flock, you're
9:34going to be getting $50 added to your
9:36account after you deposit your first 10.
9:38Available in almost every single state.
9:40But I think that's all I got for you. I
9:42appreciate you and I'll see you out in
9:43the live stream later
