0:00What's going on, man? Welcome back to the basement. I'm Ron, and we are here.
0:079:30 p.m. Eastern on the nose. We are hopping into a Best Ball Mania draft over on Underdog. We are actually waiting for five people to
0:17join right now. If anybody wants to hop in, hop in a Best Ball Mania right at this very second. Waiting for four people.
0:24I get asked this all the time, "How do I hop in a draft?" Be here when I click the go live button.
0:30Click the notification bell.
0:32Click the subscribe button.
0:34Do it all. How are we doing in the chat here today? I feel like we are I don't know what's going on. I don't
0:41know if every year is like this and I'm misremembering, but it just feels like everything everywhere is falling apart
0:50all at once.
0:54We, of course, have Najee Harris signing.
0:57Uh and like potentially sending Tyron Tracy to the shadow realm. We're still waiting for one more. Somebody Somebody in the chat, join a Best Ball Mania.
1:03Come on in. The water The water is warm, fellas.
1:07The water is warm.
1:11Who do we got in here?
1:13Everyone's injured. Uh we got Nathan Weaver in here.
1:20We got Nacho in here. All my homies use promo code Ron. That's what I've been saying. We got triple zero in here.
1:29We have Pepper Tony in here. Yeah, just doing a little brush teeth, wash face.
1:34Uh I'll be honest I'll be honest this time of of what actually held me up is I uh couldn't find my damn
1:43TV remote.
1:45I couldn't find my TV remote. I started flipping over everything um and then I found it. So, I don't know. It's one of those things
1:53where could I have just been like, "All right, I'll figure it out later." Sure, but I don't know. Once you're on the scent
1:59of a missing remote or a missing controller, you just got to find it.
2:04On the nose. All right, let's open the draft board here.
2:11We got the 107. That's a fun spot.
2:12That's a fun spot. I will say anyone out there that hasn't watched today's video, check it out. We talked about the best spots to draft from in fantasy
2:20football. And I think the 107 is like my third favorite spot to draft from. So, I'm
2:31excited. Let's see what we get.
2:33I'm physically impressive. Yeah, I thought that that was a hilarious report today that Najee Harris showed up to training camp and was physically
2:40impressive is what all the beat reporters said, which is like I don't know. You're at a training camp, 53-man roster, everybody out there is
2:46physically impressive. Go check out Thomas Fidone's RAS.
2:52I think that he was a tight end out of Nebraska. He's like 6'5, 240, runs a 4.7, like I don't know. You go to a football
2:59practice and you're going to see some physically impressive guys.
3:06All right, let's see what is available here.
3:10Um I of course have McCaffrey here at the 107. Let's do McCaffrey. Uh I have I will say for all of the changes that have happened so
3:19far, my the basement draft guide rankings are updated. I have not gone ahead and like converted those to best ball. I'll be honest, the best ball
3:27you guys don't come to me for my Underdog rankings. I know there's a very there's like a you know, there's like a
3:31there's like 3% of you guys out there that do.
3:34Um I'll update them in the morning for all the changes, but the draft guide right now is live with, you know, the
3:39Tyron Tracy news, the Jordan Tyson news, all of that. Um so, we're sort of flying blind tonight. I I I don't know.
3:46I think there's like a few things that I've changed since the last time I updated my Underdog rankings in here, so
3:51we'll see how this goes.
3:55We shall see. We got Hemp Slinger in here. Finally let us into the basement.
3:58Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
3:59ESPN dropped Tyson to the 14th round.
4:01Man, I got to be honest, I dropped him as well. Honestly, the same distance. I'm pulling up in another tab the uh
4:08the basement draft guide so I can kind of give you guys some insights onto where I'm moving these players around, but I
4:14buried Jordan Tyson, man. If you don't have an IR spot of some sort, and even if you do, I don't know, dude. This hamstring thing
4:21it reminds me of the OKC guy Jaylen Williams, I think is his name.
4:26I don't know, dude. I I It's just it's really rare. I think like Rashod Bateman did something similar his rookie year
4:31where he just never really got right.
4:32It's really hard. Uh what's the saying the saying for it? Uh it's hard to hop on a moving train is what they say
4:41uh for a rookie in the NFL. Wow, we got Hampton to come back to us.
4:48Part of me really wants to go Bowers.
4:51But we're going to go Hampton. There were times There were times during uh whoa, they're saying I should refresh to uprate update.
5:00I'll refresh to update and see what happens.
5:02All right. I don't know what happened there, but we go McCaffrey Hampton.
5:06Nothing strange happens at the turn.
5:08Jefferson at 12, Walker, Chase, Brown, Saquon, Derrick Henry.
5:12Uh we got a super chat in here. Let me see this real quick.
5:19What the hell? What's going on here?
5:21Startup Dynasty Superflex two flex.
5:22Going to be a fun year. You're just uh you're just telling me about it?
5:27I appreciate the super chat.
5:30I appreciate the super chat.
5:33I'm trying to think if there's anything I'm answering here.
5:36Um I would say I'm stoked for you, man.
5:40I would say yeah, I mean auction IDP, I mean that is uh that is sickos only.
5:52Yeah, early Christian Watson.
5:54Uh, Chargers o-line scares you?
5:56Uh, or scares concern you? It's starting to, no doubt. It's starting to. It sucks. Like, the why a lot of us like
6:02the Chargers is, well, wow, there goes Jeremiah Love. He's not He's not slipping at all.
6:08Um, I did move him behind Breece Hall today.
6:11I'll I'll say that. Uh, but I still have them both as like mid to early third-round picks. But, it's tough what
6:18they uh, Biadasz goes down or Biadasz goes down. Um, they're still waiting on Rashawn Slater to come back. So, it's really just Joe Alt.
6:27Which like, don't get me wrong, Joe Alt is amazing. And there's splits that are like, okay, this is what the team looks
6:32like with Joe Alt and without it. And it's a huge jump just by him being there. But, we were sort of sold on the
6:37stream of, okay, Rashawn Slater's going to be healthy for week one. They bring in Biadasz and all this stuff. And it's
6:42it's like crumbling all around us. So, I I haven't budged on the Chargers just yet because I I will say to their
6:48credit, damn, a lot of people going there sucks.
6:52Uh, we are going to go Flowers here.
6:54Flowers is just the correct pick, I think.
6:57Uh, I will say I think that the video will come out tomorrow.
7:01Uh, working on the legendary wide receiver video. I haven't I haven't gotten to the part where I get to some conclusions yet. So, don't really ask me
7:06there.
7:07Um, but what I was going to say is McDaniel has made a living out of covering up Miami's bad offensive lines. So, I think
7:15if the Chargers can just be average. It sucks though because they were in contention for top five.
7:20I don't want to write them off yet though. We'll we'll we'll see what happens here.
7:24Gent over Saquon? I'm Gent over Saquon.
7:27No, I don't do any auction content.
7:29There's just there's other guys that are specialists uh, in that format that just could do way better. Like, I I just don't play in
7:35it.
7:38Where do I have Stribling right now?
7:39Let's see.
7:40I moved Stribling to my I moved him to 120th overall as the wide receiver 50.
7:50So, that now puts him inside of the wide receiver cliff. I think that that's about as as high as I can get.
7:58Puka concerns over possible suspension, not yet. And even if there's one game suspension of Puka, I'm probably not budging on him at the four.
8:05JT at the five is fine. If you want to rank JT over McCaffrey, you certainly can. We we did that last night in the uh
8:11high stakes with Liam and Jacob.
8:13I know why I agreed with them on the clock. I'll be honest, I was kind of in a whirlwind and I honestly assumed that
8:18McCaffrey was gone by then.
8:20Um but I'm always down to kind of let especially like Liam just like draft whatever uh he's sort of feeling that day.
8:29I'm going to have like 20 solo drafts that we're going to do, right? We've done a plenty of high stakes drafts.
8:34We'll do plenty more.
8:36Uh I'd rather when I have a guest on like that, I want to draft a team that I wouldn't draft personally. So,
8:43I would have went McCaffrey, Jefferson.
8:44We went JT, Lamb. And I'm just happy to kind of do something different.
8:53Breece injury doesn't move you? I mean, I moved him down a few spots, but he seems like he's going to be ready to go
8:57for week one and it's not a big deal.
8:59Uh is what I've kind of gathered from We'll go Teague here.
9:08Flowers is your wide receiver one does feel bad, no doubt.
9:14Struggling to find auction content. I think Establish the Run just did an auction video.
9:20Flowers feels so inconsistent. I consistency Maybe I'll do one of those videos. I'm actually going to take a note. I'll do one of those videos maybe
9:26of uh I don't know. Everyone does those videos, but like mistakes to let your league mates make in fantasy football. Caring about
9:34consistency, I go on this rant probably once a week. It is extremely extremely overrated. Any and I hate to do this,
9:41but any research out there that's dedicated towards consistency ratings or figuring out who has the most consistent floor every week, it is a pointless endeavor. Um
9:51consistency isn't sticky year-to-year, right? Like one guy that's a high floor player one year might be a low floor player the next year. Uh and then also
9:59if you go back and look at the average point differential in your home league from last year, there's this bias that
10:05oh, you lose by 0.5 and it sucked and it's like oh, if I could have just had a steady 10 points in my flex instead of a
10:10zero, I would have won.
10:11But by and large, games are decided by spike weeks. Uh so it's really something like week-to-week consistency is not even a part of my process to be real
10:23with everybody. Um you're going to get the benefit of the points per game if the guy's in your lineup.
10:35Earliest I'm taking Jahan Dotson price at the 5-6 turn.
10:40Uh Chase Brown RB3 off the board is a little crazy. What high stakes at around $100 would you guys recommend?
10:46I don't know.
10:50Where am I at here? Where am I at? I'm All right, let's let's see what comes back here.
11:01Sort this by ADP. I think this is going to be a Lamar team depending on what Blue Dog does here.
11:07Davante's starting to slide, man.
11:09Davante at pick 55 is really tough to pass on.
11:14But if we have Zay, I feel like Lamar is just too fun not to do it. So let's do it.
11:20Let's do it.
11:23What else we got in here?
11:25CMC and Hampton is nuts.
11:27Starting to happen more times. Yeah, Jamo like I'm not I don't know. If you're in a two wide receiver one flex
11:33league, and I I guess it's like a painstaking decision every week to That's why one flex leagues are dumb cuz you're like debating between the wide
11:40receiver 18 and like the RB 15 every week, and it is painstaking, but you play in a two-wide receiver, two flex
11:46league, 12-teamer, if you have an embarrassing like if if you are pulling your hair out to decide the flex, and they're all good options,
11:55like you're you're you have a good team.
11:58The Ebuka injury spooky. I I moved him down personally.
12:06All right, what am I on here?
12:10Yeah, exactly. His His floor is high if you commit to starting him every week.
12:18Uh Adams would have been sweet. Yeah, it was a tough decision. How far did I drop Manongai?
12:22Uh I will say as well, just say a quick plug on the uh Basement Draft Guide.
12:27I have gotten questions like do a tutorial. I feel like I've showed it off a decent bit in videos. Maybe I'll do a
12:31dedicated either video on the back end or kind of like a not a throwaway video, but a video, I don't know, where I go through my top 50
12:40or so players and then kind of show you how to use the draft guide.
12:43Uh let's do Marv. I'm a big Marv fan.
12:49Let's do Marv here, dude.
12:51Um But, I have a I have a spot in the Basement Draft Guide that just it takes into account all of the rankings
12:59movement that I do. I I update it damn near every day. I I moved six players up, six players down this morning,
13:05August 18th. You asked about Manongai. I moved him from 89th overall to 101st overall, down 12 spots, down a tier, and
13:13from the RB 35 to the RB 40. Uh you can see all of that.
13:17Quick plug, why not? The Basement Draft Guide. It is my baby. Look at this. All of this is here uh for you guys to see.
13:23All the movement I do every day is outlined for you.
13:28Um again I think it's the best in the biz, the basement draft guide. dot com. You can check that out in the description,
13:36comment section, all of that good stuff down below. Damn, we're at like almost 500 people in here. All right, I mean,
13:41that's just this where we're at. It's that time of the year. I guess it's just that time of the year, fellas. It's
13:45August 18th.
13:47We're just going to hit 500 on a random Tuesday.
13:52Subron, when's the BDGE draft? That is Tuesday. We just had a meeting about it today. So, exciting stuff.
13:59Chris Godwin's dealing with the Emeka Egbuka injury. It's tough to know if he's still prime Godwin, but his upside is top six point per game
14:07wide receiver. As crazy as it is to say, um part of the legendary upside video is that I don't know. We'll see if it's just a
14:14one-year trend, but there's something to be said about like um with the rise of tight ends, tight ends like heavy personnel is displacing the
14:25wide receivers, and it's making so the wide receiver scoring is down. Like Zay Flowers was the wide receiver 12 in points per game last year.
14:31Uh yeah, so you can see this isn't updated.
14:34Jordan Addison for me would be like I I might even delete my rankings here in a second. Just I we'll just go by ADP and
14:40vibes, I think.
14:42Actually, no we won't. No we won't.
14:43We'll just We'll just be smart about it.
14:45Um I'm still not fading Josh Downs. I know that some are kind of out on Josh Downs right now.
14:52I am going to take him.
14:57Uh what was I What was I talking about?
14:59Oh yeah.
15:01So, I guess what I'm saying is is the bar for Godwin to clear to be a wide receiver one is pretty low if that trend
15:07stays the same, and I could see him clearing that.
15:10I update the draft guide damn near daily. Honestly, daily. Like I'm not going to commit to say like if there's nothing to move, there's nothing to
15:16move, but I am I would say the first thing I do to start my work day is look at the rankings and tweak them a little
15:22bit.
15:25Pierce will play. Just a matter of him being effective or or when he'll play.
15:32I'm big backing on Marv.
15:37Rashi's tough.
15:38I I actually know he's going to look good in the legendary wide receiver video. It just comes down to whether or
15:41not I want to listen to the research.
15:44He He's just there's such a wide chasm between how I view him as a football player and view him as a engine on this Chiefs
15:52offense versus what he can give you in fantasy. And that's just like it's such a tough bet.
15:58Like he goes in this range where I'm I'm fairly certain that Devonta Smith, Nico Collins, Pickens, Olave I would say Tee Higgins, Rondale Moore,
16:08Kony Like it him talent-wise is much more in this area.
16:13From like a real life football standpoint he has just been this like 5-yard A-dot PPR check-down cheezer.
16:20Uh and it's worked.
16:22But he's also coming off like two knee two knee surgeries and off-the-field stuff. And the Chiefs offense hasn't looked right since they ran it through
16:30Rashi Rice. And they get a new OC. It's just like how much longer can we do this uh this Rashi Rice offense thing? Like at a
16:39certain point I feel like we have to move on to something that actually works.
16:44Let's do 101's our next pick. 103.
16:52Give me Harvey. I know you guys don't really like Harvey, but we'll take our third running back there.
17:01Uh I guess I'm a little bit worried about Christian Watson's health. I feel like he proved last year that he can he
17:04can stay healthy.
17:07Keenan Keenan dropped down like not by a lot for me. I still think he's going to play in two wide receiver sets. I I
17:12dropped him down six spots.
17:15Six spots. But I I already kind of assuming Kena was going to sign, as well.
17:20I moved Tyler Warren not at all. Not at all. I'm not that worried about either of them, to be honest.
17:29Dude, Marv has Marv has got pedigree heading into year three.
17:35I'm not going to call him a because there really is no this year's JSN. Uh there probably won't be.
17:41But, when we kind of think with our imagination, Marvin Harrison Jr. on a per basis his entire career has commanded volume. He has like a 22%
17:48targets per route run. Uh his career number in that class is only behind like BTJ, Ladd, Neighbors.
17:57And now you get a new OC.
17:59You get him going into year three, probably improving a little bit.
18:03Going to have a lot of pass attempts. I could I don't know. I could just see Marv, you know, not the JSN 21 points
18:08per game offensive player of the year, but 16 points per game as like the wide receiver 10 in points per game. I think
18:17the upside is there. I do.
18:24Um I'm never a big like uh aren't you glad you didn't, you know, you didn't draft him twice in the preseason. It's
18:28like I don't know. The injuries hit everybody the same.
18:31It's kind of a game of roulette, and that's fine by me. Like nobody has an advantage.
18:35You know, I draft I draft all these high stakes teams uh this far out. Like it just is what it is.
18:48Let's see.
18:54Like the thing about JSN and why we whiffed on him last year, and like you guys know like I'll I'll own my misses.
19:00JSN his per route stuff wasn't good through his first two years. Like there wasn't It's not like we're looking at Ladd
19:07right now, where like Ladd McConkey's uh career yards per route run, career targets per route run, first downs per route run, all looks awesome. Like, JSN,
19:15his per route stuff didn't look very good. I think I actually charted it out for the legendary wide receiver stuff to
19:20see if there was like, okay, previous year per route run metrics, and JSN flunked all of them. Um, it was more of
19:27just like getting to this next level. Now, thing about JSN, and we keep on zooming in on this, we do this every year of like,
19:34who's this year's this? Like, most of the time there isn't, you know. Uh, after Puka's rookie year, who's this year's Puka?
19:39Just rarely happens. Uh, but your your three breakouts broadly, I think is a is a worthwhile topic to to talk about. Uh,
19:50because that's for the longest time it's been a thing, the year three breakout at wide receiver. If you think back, uh,
19:55Calvin Ridley was a huge one in I think 2020. I actually he's he's a guy that I wrote an article about uh, when I first
20:02started like doing fantasy football stuff. Uh, it was either I think it was the Ridley year three breakout, Godwin had a strong year three breakout. Uh,
20:10it's been a thing forever.
20:11And I could see it being, you know, this was a class that was hyped up, you know, Neighbors, Odunze, Marv, uh, Brian
20:18Thomas, Ladd. Like, there's a lot of candidates here.
20:21So, chasing, you know, the next guy that could hit like 16 plus, 18 plus points per game out of the middle rounds is
20:27worthwhile.
20:29But, you kind of have to think with your imagination. But, what I was saying is like, JSN had both Lockett and Metcalf
20:34leave, which was just like it was just like kind of this whirlwind of new OC, new quarterback, target competition leaves.
20:41His per route numbers were down, but you could explain them away with like usage that wasn't optimal.
20:51Um, let's go Concepcion here.
20:58We have both the Cleveland guys. I actually kind of hate that.
21:01I don't know. I'm just I'm just ranting here, fellas. I'm talking in circles.
21:04Let me catch up with the chat.
21:10Honestly, no. Honestly, no. The more I think about it, the more I I want to start moving up DJ Moore a little bit.
21:23Uh yeah, I moved up Juwan Johnson.
21:28I moved him from 150 to 139 up a tier. I moved him pretty much to the back end of the like Dallas Goddard, Jake Ferguson
21:36area is where I would have him now.
21:38Dribbling is this year's Puka. We'll see, man.
21:40He'd be lucky to be like I'm trying to think cuz all the rookies were ass, but No, the Puka breakout is unbelievable.
21:51And I think what it really boils down to is the Rams. And I think that that's like an overarching theme is uh Ryan
21:56Heath has done really good work on it.
21:57That like a lot of the out of nowhere league winners have just come from the Rams because McVay scores a lot of
22:02points. He finds these pet pet players.
22:06Um you know, Kyren Williams was one of them.
22:09Terrace Ferguson could be one of them.
22:11Stafford last year.
22:15Like late round winners are often times Rams.
22:27True or false, a player's target share is more important than being on a top offense. Hmm.
22:34Hmm. That's a really tough one. And it's one that I'm actually wrestling with with the legendary wide receiver video.
22:40Is because I I would say you're you're correct in that Here's what I'll say. Let's take Mark Andrews here. Target share does matter
22:50more, and here's why.
22:51Target share is just a lot more sticky.
22:54I I can't remember I wish I could give credit to whatever analyst it was, but they described it really well that a
22:58player's target share is their their their suitcase that they bring around with them team to team, coach to coach, quarterback to quarterback. Your target
23:06share, your target earning largely comes with you. Now, of course, if you're on the younger side or you're heading into year three, your suitcase can grow. If
23:13you're on the back half of your career, your suitcase can go to lower. But within a few percentage points, you're in that range. If you're a 23% target
23:19share guy, you're a 23% target share guy. Um and it's a lot more likely that inside of like a, you know, Courtland
23:25Sutton's been around like 20% target share to 18% target share for the last like 3 years. It's very unlikely that out of nowhere he becomes a 28% target
23:34share guy. Uh but what is more in the range of outcomes is that the Broncos that are projected for like the 21st most points in the NFL
23:44uh end up with like the sixth most points in the NFL and all of a sudden his touchdown upside uh is a lot greater.
23:53And then same thing with like team-level passing volume. Uh when things start to change like the 49ers will probably always be, you know, run heavy and
23:59stuff, but when you get a new play caller and you get a new quarterback, if you can start, you know, target share
24:04stays central, but if you can start clicking some levers to add some touchdowns in there and then add like, okay, he's a 30% target share in a
24:10bottom-five passing offense, but you bring in a new play caller and quarterback and that, you know, defense regresses a little bit and all of a
24:15sudden that pie becomes like the fifth highest passing volume offense, that's how you start unlocking really big ceilings.
24:27All right, we are on the clock and I was not looking at who's available like I should have been.
24:35And then we just got to keep making up ground at receiver here.
24:38Let's go I want to take Rashid Shaheed.
24:39I know the thing's telling me to take Coker.
24:42Let me get a Rashid Shaheed. I like Shaheed.
24:47Super chat, big on hammering rookie wide receivers this year. Also, who are your favorite sleepers at running back and wide receiver? Could you add injuries to
24:52the guide? Loving it so far. Go. Thank you, man. Um injuries to the guide maybe. There's just only so many things
24:59I can add to the guide. Uh I try to update the I've up I updated a bunch of the player notes over the weekend.
25:07Um rookie receivers this year is interesting.
25:11I've started to cool off on Carnell Tate after kind of seeing the Titans, but I don't want to take too much preseason
25:15into account.
25:19We have been drafting a lot of Jeremiah Love. I think in any given year mixing in rookies is always a good idea. Uh we
25:24know that they back that backload their production. Last year my best team had RJ Harvey on it where I know no one
25:30wants to give credit to RJ Harvey for what he did last year, but after JK Dobbins went down, he was like a 15-plus
25:34point per game guy uh that was a staple on a lot of playoff rosters.
25:39Favorite sleepers.
25:41Favorite sleepers. I really like MarShawn Lloyd. I'm coming around to MarShawn Lloyd a ton. I'm coming around on Tyjae Spears.
25:47Uh wide receiver, the sleepers are a little bit tougher. Probably like Denzel Boston.
25:53Denzel Boston, Cyrus Allen, like all those are the rookies like those sleepers. Tack them onto the end of your bench at the end of the draft and if
26:00they suck through a few weeks, you cut them. Uh you watch the rookie receiver report where we talk about what these
26:05guys do on a per route basis and then uh we beg teams to give them more routes and more playing time and sometimes it
26:11works, sometimes it doesn't.
26:14Let's do We don't need another tight end. Uh We don't need another tight end. We only need two more wide receivers.
26:23We have a falling CJ Stroud. The thing wants us to take Bryce.
26:27Fine, we'll take Bryce.
26:30Probably a three quarterback team even with Lamar.
26:33We got to continue to hammer out wide receivers, continue to hammer out some quarterback options.
26:40How do you hit on the legendary wide receiver video last year?
26:43Um it's always tough to look at hit rates because there was only two of them. Uh Puka was obvious and JSN wasn't.
27:05Can you make it on mobile so you can sort by site ADP instead of your ranking so it's easier to cross off?
27:10I'll take a note.
27:14I'll take a note.
27:21Are you telling me you really can't?
27:23Oh, it's like automatically sorted by the ranking.
27:27I'll see if we can if we can add like a uh I assume you can't sort by any of the other columns.
27:52Hold on, I got to let Winnie out of my room.
28:04But you guys I I don't know uh anyone out there that has gotten the draft guide you can you can see I've
28:08been making updates to it. It's a living breathing thing. I'm trying to make it a better product every day.
28:14Like I said earlier, like every day I log on and I update the rankings, give some notes to my web designer.
28:21Um let's do I think I want to take Sharbd?
28:33Let me live a little and take Samson, dude. Let me live a little.
28:37We have some Cleveland correlation there.
28:42All right, so what am I on about?
28:53>> Do you want to comment as a good sleeper?
28:55Just got the draft guide the other day and I'm loving it. Shout out yourself and your web designer. Thank you, man.
28:58Thank you, dude. That means a lot.
29:00LBJ, I feel like you're in the chat a bunch as well.
29:05But yeah, constantly trying to make it better.
29:08Well, we'll make some kind of tutorial soon.
29:11I feel like I've kind of done demos with it on the draft strategy videos.
29:17Where are you on Pacheco? Won't be Monty's workload. Um Pacheco's been like banged up and I think they're just going to like I don't
29:24think there's going to be a second row.
29:25I think it's going to literally just be Gibbs.
29:27And whenever Gibbs needs to get water, he'll go away. But they've been saying for a while now that the you know, there
29:34there's the connection with Petzing from the Cardinals. He could bring over James Conner or Trey Benson.
29:39There's a I think Mike Kafka was on the Giants last year.
29:43He is now on the Lions. If Taiwan Tracy actually does get cut for the missed pass block, which by the way, I don't
29:49think he does.
29:50Uh if he does, that's insanity. Um but if he does, he could go to the Lions. So Uh I I was drafting out of Pacheco
29:59early, but I've definitely cooled off.
30:00Are we worried Kirk starts for too long and ruins Fernando's upside?
30:05Um in best ball, yeah. In best ball, yeah. That that's a scary sight, but I don't know. I I really do think that
30:11we're going to see him sooner than later. I think Kubiak's going to get the most out of this offense and they're
30:15going to get uh Mendoza in there cuz it seemed like the the reporting seemed more It seemed like it was more
30:23that like it's not about uh Mendoza's readiness, but it's more about like it's more about
30:36Hold on. I'm trying to lock in.
30:39I guess give me Flournoy. We just We just need to throw receivers at this thing.
30:44Uh but what was I trying to say? What was I trying to say? Uh it's more so is the team ready for Mendoza cuz I don't
30:49want to throw him into the fire with a shitty o-line or a shitty offense.
30:52That's what I was trying to say.
30:58How's Winnie been after the move? Uh she's been good.
31:02Hell yeah, Bob.
31:04Who is the best wide receiver to draft in the last two rounds? Wow. Well, it's tough. Are you talking best ball or are
31:09you talking home league? Cuz I feel like in home leagues you can get like for for me it's it's all rookies. Like
31:17I you'll see in the draft guide I have like I have like uh Cyrus Allen ahead of Jaylen Nailor. Like once we get past the
31:23wide receiver cliff I don't care about the high floor Trey Tucker, Jaylen Nailor, uh I don't know I Mitchell even who like I like the Jets. I think
31:32uh Jets fans might like crush me for that but it's just like I don't see myself ever starting Iden O'Brien Mitchell in a
31:38fantasy football league. I think he's I think he's fun for best Um Trying to like all these guys like Juwan Jennings I I don't see as ever being a
31:46guy that I start in my league. Like I'm throwing darts at uh pretty much all the rookies. Omar Cooper, Kobe Lanes, Cyrus
31:54Allen, um You can even go past that if you want to go Malachi Fields.
32:01I'm hunting and I am tuning into the rookie receiver report after week one hoping that one of my rookies did well
32:08per route uh metric wise and and going from there.
32:11Ted Hearst is is a good shout with the Abuka injury.
32:16So yeah, I I I don't know. If I'm ever in a spot where Trey Tucker is like making it into my lineup Caleb Douglas
32:22is another good one. I mean everyone's just like sniping me on good uh rookie receiver options here but let's take
32:44>> And let's do Jerion Ealy Bernard. Let's take a rookie. Take Bernard.
32:48Throw him in the mix. All right, so how is it How am I going to land this plane right now? We need three quarterbacks.
32:53All right, so we take Jerion Ealy Bernard. We can go We can land this plane with Rodgers or Jacoby.
32:57Let's actually lock in for a second. We can go Rodgers or Jacoby.
33:01This is going to be a 3 5 8 2. So, that was our last receiver. Yeah.
33:06So, we need a quarterback and running back with our last two picks.
33:14Oh, no. I'm Dude, I'm I genuinely like please give me like also like my DMs are wide open. If you DM me on
33:23Twitter or Discord and it's about the draft guide, whether you are having a problem with it or you have feedback or
33:29recommendation, um I I I'm not the biggest fan of being my own products customer service rep in a way, but it's been a lot of good
33:39feedback that I then relay over to the designer and then all of a sudden like I think it's also cool for you guys to
33:45like almost have fingerprints on what I'm building here. Uh where like, you know, you ask me for a feature and then in the next few days
33:51I'm like, "Yo, go check it out." Um that was something somebody on Twitter told me to do that. Uh where it used to just be the consensus
33:57ADP in the rankings, but now you can switch it between whatever site you want. That's on desktop where you could uh the ADP that my rankings are
34:04adjusted against on the draft board can be switched around to whatever you want.
34:13I don't know that we can uh I don't know that we do know that Pacheco can run the ball. He hasn't been good at running He
34:18He got He got uh his lunch stolen by Kareem Hunt last year in terms of running the ball between the tackles.
34:26Uh let's take Jacoby here. This is a little bit of a No, it's It's even a reach. Let's take Jacoby.
34:33I don't know where we're at on Jacoby versus Carson Beck, but I'm fine taking that swing.
34:38Uh let's hop into another Best Ball Mania. Anyone out there that wants to hop in with us, use promo code Ron.
34:45What the hell is going on?
34:47What the They're going to give me 25 sec All right. All right. This is This is bad promo for Underdog. All right. Yeah,
34:52we're fine.
34:53That was on my end.
34:54>> [laughter] >> Uh all right, we're going to hop into this. Anyone that wants to hop in, you can do so now. We are up in nine picks.
35:03Uh make sure if you want to draft with us all summer long, use promo code Ron. When you play $5, you get $50 on the site to draft
35:11with us every single night. We are live drafting on Underdog most of the time and then some other things.
35:24Yeah, if you can stash him on IR, 140 is fine for Jordan Tyson, but that's like a round where I moved him. Uh where did I
35:29move him? I moved him from I I moved him literally from 93rd overall to 140.
35:34And 93rd was actually after me like moving him down initially.
35:43What's going on here? Why is this All right.
35:51Um Miami receiver I'm drafting is Caleb Douglas, but I think Chris Bell's a decent shout as well.
35:57I'm buying Caleb Douglas. I I'm not convinced that Malik Washington is anything in the NFL.
36:15Super chat. What have we got? Natano?
36:19Let's see. Let's see.
36:24I don't I don't you guys can't see this.
36:27All right, that's actually better. We're all over the place right now.
36:31Super chat two wide three wide receiver two flex. Man, that's a deep league in a 12 teamer. Wow.
36:38To 107 or back into the draft.
36:44Um I I'd be fine staying in the the middle.
36:49Let's do any of these guys stick out?
36:53No, dude, I can't get it out of my head, man. Oh no, we I'm an idiot. Let's do Singleton.
37:00Just for some fun. Just for some rookie upside there. All right, we are on the clock in the other draft. Let's
37:06And we're at the 106 again with McCaffrey.
37:09Let's switch it up and go Taylor. We want McCaffrey in the last one. We'll go Taylor here.
37:13In a half PPR, I also think it's a lot more defensible to go JT over McCaffrey.
37:18I just didn't want to draft the same team twice in a row.
37:20Uh but all right, so give me a second here. You said you got the 106. All right, so this is actually a great mock
37:24uh great draft for you to look at.
37:27Do you move Amon-Ra or JT or CMC in that format?
37:31Um I don't think so. Even with three wide receiver two flex, I'm still looking to grab a running back there. If I'm at the 106 or the 107, I'm
37:39taking uh in this order McCaffrey, JT, JSN.
37:45Uh or would I move to the end of the draft?
37:48Probably not. I I'd probably be fine just sitting in the middle.
37:59What's up, Michael?
38:10How would you ta- ideally tackle the two-three turn? Sometimes Bowers falls to the turn.
38:17Dude, I'll I'll be honest, man. If I could start Gibbs Bowers, ch- I I take my pants off.
38:28I think I take I I you have my word that if in your ideal league mates, I can start my draft. And I know that
38:33superflex it's different calculus.
38:36But if I can end up with Gibbs and Bowers, I'm taking my pants off, man. I'm doing that and then I'm just taking a receiver
38:45and then I'm taking receiver at four five turn and then probably just going like a true hero running back and then taking like
38:51another receiver at those six seven and then taking like my RB2 at that six seven turn.
38:56Uh but dude, if you can get Bowers to fall back to you in a Gibbs team, come on, son.
39:03Incredible video today. Thank you, man.
39:04I I will say I get a lot of questions.
39:06Today I finally answered the uh what's your favorite spot to draft from uh question. We finally answered that today. Anyone out there that
39:14uh missed it, I ranked all of the draft picks 101 through 112. I talked about how I over how I sort of see the entire
39:21landscape right now as well.
39:23Uh just a solid video, I think.
39:26Just a solid video, I think. Let's go Bowers.
39:29We just talked about Bowers. Let's grab him.
39:32What was I about to say?
39:34Um yeah, I I just wanted to say I appreciate all the love on the videos right now. Videos are are are doing well
39:40the last I don't know. The last like four of the last five have done really well.
39:46Uh and I'm going to keep leaning into you guys have been loving like the the data stuff, the detail oriented stuff.
39:50So we're doing the legendary wide receiver video tomorrow.
39:53Think we'll do a single hero RB video end of the week.
39:57We'll do some I I might do something that's kind of like stat oriented looking at the RB dead zone, but the RB
40:03dead zone is so tricky uh to kind of look at the factors.
40:09Cuz it's like young upside breakouts, but then also there have been like old veterans that have made it out of the dead as well. So, we'll we'll figure
40:17something out.
40:23Uh you can do JT at the 105 and a two-widers super one flex.
40:33Let's do Damn, a lot of you wanted to turn, huh?
40:43Let's go DeVonta Smith. DeVonta Smith is a nice receiver to come back to us.
40:55Honestly, I'm definitely very ceiling-oriented in fantasy football.
40:59I'm probably not floor-oriented until like until it's a hero RB build and like I need points.
41:10Uh you know, like maybe your RB2 in a hero RB build is like Trevion Henderson.
41:14Uh then all of the sudden, I'm maybe looking at like a JK Dobbins or a Tony Pollard or uh Who else would I kind of consider in
41:27that area? But, you get what I'm saying?
41:29For me, it's more of like an archetype thing and less of Let's Cuz like I think safety is kind of a
41:38I I don't think there really is like a locked and loaded safe pick in fantasy football. Like anyone I mean I mean we
41:44just saw it with uh Jeremiah Love. Like Jeremiah Love, rookie running back, young guy, never got hurt in college, uh running back has been as healthy as
41:52ever the last 2 years.
41:54And the guy gets Don't get me wrong, like a decent workload, but like there like he could have gotten that same workload in week one of the NFL
42:02season. Like don't get me wrong, it was a really dumb idea by them, but I'm just sort of saying like anyone can twist their ankle in any
42:08given point in time.
42:11Uh or like anyone's quarterback, you know, if if I hate to speak it into existence, but like we saw it honestly with Jamar Chase last
42:23year. Like Jamar Chase would have crushed, but then Joe Burrow goes down and until you get Joe Flacco back, like you're screwed and has nothing to do
42:29with Jamar Chase. So, uh I I don't really shoot for floor at all and unless like I said, it's more of
42:35like, okay, I take George Kittle, it's got a high floor, like uh Juwan Johnson, uh like Brenton Strange, I guess, you know,
42:46or Kyler plus like a Jared Goff. So, that that's more so when I'm thinking through floor.
42:53Very rarely am I thinking through floor outside of that.
42:57Uh let's do Let's mix in some Mike Evans. We have week 17 Mike Evans correlation.
43:05Yeah, let's do it.
43:10People are I'm starting to kind of really come around on Mike Evans. I I want to make sure I'm mixing him in a little bit. Let's
43:15also update Let's get some updated uh exposures in the solver right now.
43:23Bang. I think that that I think that that worked. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
43:28Once again, everyone please look away.
43:30Please, please, please.
43:35Just don't even worry about what you're seeing right there.
43:39That ain't a thing.
43:46Going to add strength of schedule to the guide? Nah, probably not. Maybe, but probably not. Strength of schedule I think is a fake metric that people
43:54I don't know, man. I I kind of go on a roundabout strength of schedule every year, but like defenses just aren't they're just not steady
44:01enough year to year.
44:03Um I suppose I could add like implied point totals, but it's just I don't know. At a certain point there's only so only so much that you can add,
44:12you know?
44:16Implied point totals I think would be decent though. But depends on where you're pulling them from. Like I don't like my source is
44:22sharp football analysis. I don't know that I can pull it from a paywalled site.
44:33Honestly, that's always a funny comment to get like, "Oh, I love your content.
44:35I'm not going to tell my friends about it." To be completely real with all you guys, like my growth happens through the
44:40YouTube algorithm. Like you could you could not tell a soul and it wouldn't matter.
44:49Am I worried about Scott? I haven't moved down Scott. No, I'm not or uh Scat, my bad.
44:53I I'm not too spooked on Scat. I'm not stoked that Najee's in there.
45:00Uh but I'm also Wow, we got these guys to fall all the way back. Let's go McLaurin here.
45:05I feel like you can rarely get McLaurin Evans on the same team.
45:11I guess I reached on Evans a little bit.
45:14Yeah, I suppose.
45:26Despite this team making you a milli, what are you talking about?
45:30Yeah, round two Flowers 211 Flowers is crazy. I guess he's doing uh Bengals play the Ravens in week 17.
45:37That's what he's setting up there.
45:40Drake London's really hard to to quantify. I would say that he's one of the more high floor players.
45:45All right, we're going to do a super chat. Would you rather turn AJ Brown than Derrick Henry on the way back?
45:51Or go Kenneth?
45:53And then Neighbors.
45:57It's a key uh there's probably never a world where I'm taking AJ Brown over Derrick Henry.
46:03Uh if I had to choose between Derrick Henry and A.J. Brown versus Kenneth Walker and Neighbors, I'm probably Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown.
46:10I know that that's like a little bit conflicting.
46:16You already have ETN and Bucky through your keepers though. Hmm.
46:23I might even be tempted to go A.J.
46:24Brown, Kenneth Walker or A.J. Brown, Malik Neighbors there, but probably not.
46:28I I I would have the Like those players I would have ranked Walker, Derrick Henry, A.J. Brown, Malik Neighbors.
46:36Yeah, Josh Allen's probably the the highest four player you in the early rounds at least, but like again, you know, he twists his ankle all of a sudden,
46:45you know, Stove Dynasty decides to do a rookie auction draft tomorrow. Any strategy?
46:50Damn, bro.
46:52Appreciate the super chat. I'm so out of my element when it comes to I feel so bad when you guys ask me about
46:57like auction and weirder formats. Like I got nothing for that.
47:02Um I'm trying to think of like how I would sort of attack it.
47:09Auction rookie draft. How does that even work?
47:12How does that even work? You Can you even tank? Is it just your fab?
47:18Yeah, the injuries have been brutal this preseason.
47:27I think the league suspends Jacobs. I lean no.
47:33Let's do Let's not risk it on Hurts. Let's just take Jalen Hurts. I think he makes sense on this team. Yeah.
47:45Uh what was I on about? Yeah, strength of schedule is kind of overused. It's just like it's a fine tiebreaker, but all that
47:50stuff it just all comes out in the wash.
47:52Like you never know what defense is going to be good. And then also like strength of schedule as much as it's
47:58I think it only matters on the extremes, you know?
48:02So, I think quantifying like strength of schedule over an entire season is really tough. Like week to week, of course, you
48:07know, if it's like the Cowboys run defense is Swiss cheese and every backfield averages 20 plus points a game against them, bang, that's actually
48:15actionable advice, but preseason for like a 17 schedule, it's tough. Something I did want to look at that I think is interesting. I don't
48:22know if it's interesting enough to make a video on it, but I'll show you guys this.
48:26Uh Sharp Football Sharp Football has the Vegas implied
48:35point totals, but I think what's also really interesting is
48:45they have the playoff points.
48:49So, you could like I would love to see the who has the biggest difference. Like what what what offense makes the biggest
48:55jump from regular season to playoffs?
48:58You know what I mean? Like the Bengals have the fourth highest projected points per game offense, but in the playoffs they have the second highest. Not that
49:03that's like a huge jump, but is there a team that goes from like 17th to like the seventh highest in the in the
49:07fantasy playoffs? That'd be something I'd be interested about. I don't know if I could make a whole video out of that,
49:12but something I wanted to sit down and and do.
49:16Um let's do Let's do I wouldn't mind running back here, but
49:28I guess we'll do Jayden Reed. Do Jayden Reed here. Screw it.
49:32Now we have four receivers I like. We have just a very balanced team right now. We we started JT Bowers, DeVonta
49:37Smith, Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Reed.
49:47Jeremiah Lovewell at 44, good lord. Uh all All Underdog is half PPR unless they've said otherwise.
50:11I appreciate that, Matthew. I appreciate that. Thank you, man.
50:17Everyone has a thousand dollars.
50:20Interesting.
50:25How do you go? Appreciate the superchat from Jimmy Cheese.
50:30How do you go about drafting in a 12-person? Wow, there goes Jordan Tyson way too high.
50:3612-person three wide receiver two flex in the two spot.
50:42Probably very similar to the video I did today talking about uh week or uh the 101 spot, but I would take
50:48Bijan, probably double tap receiver unless if uh you know, if somehow some way like Derrick Henry or Kenneth Walker came back, then you go double hero. If not,
50:58probably two receivers. If Bowers came back, I'd be down to do Bowers as well.
51:02Uh three or a 4-5 turn, I would love if Loveland came back. If not, I'm probably hammering two receivers. If that's a
51:09little bit squeamish for you, in that format, I'm probably hammering receivers, but if you're in a more running back hungry league despite
51:16the uh the lineup settings, then maybe dip your toe into a D'Andre Swift, David Montgomery, Cam Akers at this 4-5 turn.
51:26Uh probably hammer out some more receivers in this area.
51:30But yeah, you you just want to try and try and make the rest of your team rock solid is what I would say.
51:37I would be anti going uh Bijan and Drake London as well, I'll add.
51:43Favorite two second round RBs, favorite two round two RBs, what the hell?
51:51Probably James Cook, Chase Brown, if that's what you're asking. Like my favorite round one and round two pairing, but if not, my two favorite
51:56round two running backs would be uh Chase Brown and Kenneth Walker, assuming that Jentez a round one running back.
52:14Let's do a Dobbins team here.
52:18Go round nine Dobbins.
52:20Get something in our RB2 spot here.
52:24Jacob Eason is my daddy? Ain't no way.
52:32Is Price going over Tu and in this draft he did, but I don't think that that's going to be the case. I Unless it is
52:38Jadarian Price getting steamed right now, or did this guy just draft him super high? I think this guy is just kind of out of pocket. Uh like Zay
52:44Flowers 211, he takes Chase over Bijan.
52:47Uh yeah, I'm not I doubt that Price is going over Tu.
53:01Oh, you didn't update the rankings.
53:07Super chat Rondo?
53:09Like are you calling me Rajon?
53:11Uh what gives with Bijan's playoff schedule? No.
53:15No, because like there's so much like quarterback uncertainty at that point in the year for the Falcons, like I'm almost bordering on having Gibbs in
53:24his own like mini tier at the 1.01 just because of how the Lions are in a dome.
53:30They have Jared Goff.
53:32It's just such a more insulated situation.
53:47>> Oh, yeah. That's actually a great note.
53:48Like I I I said it in the um I think it was a double hero video or maybe it maybe it was the draft pick video I put
53:54out today. I They all merge together, but the smaller percentage that the quarterback and tight end take up in your starting
54:01lineup, the less they matter. So, in a three wide receiver two flex man, I I I will say like I I wouldn't mind
54:09taking Bowers, but like truthfully Bowers does get a little bit diluted in that format.
54:14Um just cuz of how much your wide receiver and flex matters there.
54:22I still at 211 I'm still probably taking him though.
54:25Uh I will say.
54:27Let's do We do Jordan Mason.
54:43Take a few running backs, start to build out little like hero RB style build.
54:51Oh, come on. What do you mean how is Loveland ranked ahead of Tyler Warren?
54:56Come on.
54:57I I get what you're saying, but Loveland's ranked higher because when Loveland became a full-time player, he was amazing.
55:03And then he also gets to be in a Ben Johnson offense and his quarterback didn't tear his Achilles.
55:13When it comes to to Josh Downs and Tyler Warren with the Keenan Allen signing, I'm not super concerned about it.
55:19I guess it takes some targets away. I really only see him as coming in uh in the slot in three wide receiver
55:26sets.
55:27But, I think that they're also going to move things around. I think Keenan Allen could also just be kind of like a
55:31sacrificial guy on the outside.
55:33Uh Like I think it does get a little convoluted that he was the reason why I had McConkey didn't produce last year. I
55:41think I guess that had something to do with it, but Ladd McConkey was also like banged up. The offense didn't look
55:46right.
55:48He kind of just regressed as a whole in terms of like efficiency. Like, he still was drawing targets.
55:55So, I don't know. I'm not that spooked.
55:57He's also just in a range where uh there's not many receivers I'm itching to put ahead of him. I'm not like
56:03itching to put Addison or Michael Wilson or Matthew Golden uh ahead.
56:08So, I I think I moved him like behind a bunch of running backs, you know?
56:12But, I still think he has strong breakout upside. I think that them moving on from Pittman kind of signals that they're ready for
56:22Downs to break out. Uh and Keenan Allen is really more of a body to add.
56:32Damn, Alec Pierce is falling here. Do we want to do the Alec Pierce thing?
56:37Not really.
56:39But, I probably should. Okay.
56:54Let's do Wan'Dale. It's telling me to do Wan'Dale. I never draft Wan'Dale. Come on down, Wan'Dale.
57:17What's going on in here?
57:27Yeah, Chargers had a bunch of injuries today.
57:30Yeah, Wan'Dale's, you know, he'll he'll lead the team in targets. He He's like a good best ball pick. He'll, you know,
57:35he'll hit my lineup when I need him to.
57:43League-winning tight end in your opinion.
57:47Mhm.
57:55Tough to say.
57:57Tough to say. See, I don't agree Loveland and Warren have the same ceiling. I think Loveland has the ceiling of of outscoring I think
58:04Loveland can legitimately be the the tight end one overall. I think he has access to a lot more touchdowns than Tyler Warren does. Tyler Warren last
58:12year didn't score many touchdowns. He didn't have many spike weeks. Like, don't get me wrong, he was great for a rookie. He was awesome. He's a target of
58:18mine in the draft guide, but I I think that he deserves to be closer to Harold Fannin than Cole Kmet Loveland. I think we're really
58:25disrespecting Cole Kmet Loveland with the way we're talking about these guys right now.
58:31Cole Kmet Loveland was a monster in a room with DJ Moore, Odunze, Luther Burden, Cole Kmet, who's a solid pro. Uh
58:40He was the engine of that offense through that playoff run.
58:48Let's not forget what he did against the um I think it was the Bengals.
58:54I think we're going to take Kittle here.
58:55I'm usually not a Kittle guy, but Kittle falls.
58:59I think he's kind of the perfect complement to Bowers. We're like, you know, we can kind of just free roll Kittle,
59:04and all of a sudden like Bowers is hitting our flex.
59:13Could be Kelce.
59:15It maybe be Kelce.
59:17Ferg, I don't know. I I like Goedert.
59:22Warren might have led the the Colts in targets.
59:28Ooh. Oh, both Burden and Loveland in a shower redraft is tough. I don't know.
59:36I don't know.
59:37I don't hate it. I don't hate it is what I'll say.
59:43The offense is good enough that I don't hate it. It does just feel like a lot, but the offense is good enough. I I I
59:47take that back.
59:49Uh we draft on the 25th, so next Tuesday. So, literally a week from today.
59:56Jaylen, not a bad shout.
59:59Juwan Johnson, I I've been saying for a while. Juwan Johnson is one of my highest drafted tight ends at this point.
60:09Favorite QB in QB 15 to 20-ish?
60:13Does Shuck qualify?
60:18Willis, Kyler, Shuck.
60:26Just one of those things again where, you know, you look over and you're not sure if your dog is throwing up or just
60:32chewing on a bone.
60:35I've been getting way too many dog TikToks recently, man.
60:38A lot of dog TikToks.
60:40I've been getting this one guy This is always crazy when I just started telling you guys like super niche TikTokers and ask if like one of the 500
60:49people in here have seen them.
60:54Uh let's do this. When's our next pick?
60:57150?
61:01Let's do Rashid Shaheed.
61:05But, there's a guy who has like a billion dogs. One of them, their name is Buff Chicken Nugget, and I keep seeing
61:10him.
61:16You scared off Downs? Not really, man.
61:20Not really. I I um I understand the concern with Keenan Allen, but I also think the breakout upside is still there.
61:29I think he's still live to lead the team in targets and be really solid this year.
61:42Do I find myself punting on tight end and quarterback often? Yeah.
61:45Yeah, probably one or the one or the other, not both.
61:51If your roommates are flying solo, just fly solo, man.
62:01Proud Chicagoan.
62:03You watching this Cubs run? I'm not a baseball guy really at all.
62:07I sometimes have people in the chat that ask me about my baseball teams. I have one I have a dinger right now that's in
62:12the uh semi-finals on Underdog. And I'll say as well, I love Underdog. I love the NFL best ball on Underdog. Like we're
62:20we're drafting a half PPR Best Ball Mania right now, but I think it's like really best used for the baseball drafts
62:27and the basketball drafts. Like look, football is kind of set up perfectly for fantasy football.
62:33Um you get to jump in, you get to, you know, everybody plays once a week or whatever.
62:43But when it comes to the baseball and basketball, like I'm not there's like 18 games every week.
62:51I'm not going to the waiver wire to pick up [ __ ] Sandro Mamukelashvili. I'm not going to the waiver wire to just,
62:58you know, like I'm not doing it. I'm not grabbing Max Strus on like a Tuesday because he plays like seven games that week and the
63:07starter's out. Like it's just not happening.
63:09Um so if I want to get any kind of like fantasy sports exposure to like a non-football sport, Underdog's the way
63:16to go. I just rip drafts, I'm like, "Okay, I like these guys." And that's it.
63:23Yeah, I say I say Mamadou cuz he's a Seton Hall legend. Mamadou was so awesome.
63:33It's just not happening. I'm not doing the rotisserie or the cat or um I just can't do it. I can't do it. If
63:41there's more than one like if if you are a sports league and there are players that are playing like four times in one
63:48week and there's a player playing two times this week, miss me.
63:53That's why I play Underdog. I play the Underdog uh best ball.
63:58Mamadou's awesome, dude.
64:01It's still I talk about it all the time.
64:03I'll never live it down.
64:04Uh as someone that like one of my best friends go to Seton Hall and we'd go to the basketball games. Uh that COVID year
64:11getting ripped from Seton Hall is a travesty, man. I'll say number one, look, heart goes out to Dayton.
64:19Dayton with Obi Toppin, that was [ __ ] Uh but a tier below that was uh Seton Hall. Seton Hall would have had a three
64:27seed that year.
64:29Uh and the COVID year just wiped it out.
64:31It's crazy. College basketball is like the only tournament that got fully wiped out uh from COVID. Like there will just be there there will just be a vacant
64:39spot till the end of time for that year.
64:45Let's do Trey Tucker, I think. Yeah, screw it.
64:51Yeah, Underdog's legal in NJ.
64:58That's not bad. That's not bad for Sleeper.
65:02Boo. Boo. You dude, come on, man. Come on.
65:07That's a bad take.
65:09That's a bad take.
65:11I will say I like college basketball more than NBA, so I'll give you that, but uh whatever, bro. Screw Kentucky.
65:25Dylan, was that uh was Jalen Smith on that team, like the Suns lottery pick?
65:30Trying to think and was Wiggins on it, like Aaron Wiggins?
65:36I remember Oh, no, uh don't tell me.
65:38They had like a good point guard, I feel like. Not a Not Trimble, but it was like a different Maybe Maybe it was Trimble.
65:43I'm going to say I don't know. I feel like it was Jalen Smith and a solid point.
65:48I feel like I might have gone to a game uh I want to say that they played on the road at Seton Hall that year.
65:56As weird as that is to say, I want to say they did.
66:01Is there a download to import rankings to Underdog? Uh not on the draft guide, but on the um on the Patreon is where the Underdog upload is.
66:18Yeah, that was a good team.
66:20That was a good team.
66:26Curious how you feel about um It's a bad look that I can't think of the coach.
66:36Um Let's just take Mendoza and call it a day at quarterback.
66:45Willard, Kevin Willard, that's who it is.
66:48Feel like Mary All of Maryland hates him.
66:53W Kentucky I'm not even a Kentucky hater. I I I enjoyed um I enjoyed watching Kentucky, but I'm not I'm not shedding a tear because they
67:01didn't get to have The The only teams I get to shed tears for the COVID year are the mid-majors that outperformed their
67:08expectations. Kentucky is a blue blood.
67:11I'm not crying because Maxi got robbed of a tournament run. It sucks, don't get me wrong.
67:16But, Obi Toppin and those Dayton Flyers deserved deserved a one seed.
67:32Strus is a buddy of yours?
67:36I believe that he grew up in Chicago.
67:51Does the sync league change settings rankings based off of league settings?
67:55Uh only between like half PPR, full PPR, and superflex.
67:59I wish I had Kamara's I saw that Kamara's banged up. You're saying he's missing a few weeks?
68:13Suffered a knee injury and will miss at least a few weeks. Okay.
68:18All right. We might we might we might nudge up uh we might nudge up Etienne a little bit.
68:26Earliest I'm taking Loveland is a 3-4 turn.
68:29So, like the 401, probably the earliest I would take him.
68:34Strus is with DePaul. I should know that as a as a Big East guy.
68:52Trying to think of the deep Kentucky pulls I have in my bag. It's like Ashton Hagans and the guy who did the dunk
68:56contest.
68:58I can't think of his name.
69:01Let's go Mike White. Let's just get all the Raiders. Get all the Raiders in here.
69:05This is going to be a 3 probably a 3 5 8 2.
69:17The hell is that guy's name?
69:26Yeah, Josh and Hayden do not like Gentee.
69:30I moved him down, but I I think they're I think they're sleeping on one I think they're sleeping on his receiving
69:34upside. His receiving upside is monstrous.
69:37Uh and they're also sleeping on his talent.
69:39Like he is a good player.
69:562023, Heat and Panthers made the finals.
70:01Best year that never was. Well, that's a good mix, man. You got LeBron on the Heat. You had the the back-to-back with
70:07Kucherov.
70:11Our squad being Kentucky.
70:26Let's do Let's do Braelon Allen on this team.
70:34Let's do Braelon Allen.
70:36He's our fifth running back, and then we'll probably just take a wide receiver here with our last pick.
70:42Diallo, you're absolutely right.
70:52Uh I get Roman's volume pace to be a monster be uh before the ankle injury, but like that was also before Luther Burden and
70:57Quentin Johnston broke out.
70:59Prior to like a 8-week stretch for Roman Wilson, he wasn't anything special.
71:04Uh I still think he's fine. I have him It's not even so low. I have him right where he goes. Like where do you go in
71:07this draft? I have him Uh he goes 63rd. I guarantee in my rankings I have him like 59th or 60th or
71:16something. Like I I have him right where he goes.
71:19I don't mind Brohm.
71:22Or in 2020, yeah, chill, chill, chill.
71:30Henry over Jeanty, wow. I don't hate it.
71:343672 Hmm.
71:42Yeah, I might I might do that.
71:45I don't I mean Dobbins and Mason might hit our lineup enough.
71:52Uh you might be on to something.
71:58I just like Kubiak. They made offensive line improvements. I think uh Mendoza can surprise people as well.
72:06I like the Raiders.
72:10Uh League sync auto crosses off players as you go if it's on Sleeper.
72:16I'm going to say I'm just saying if you if you've been a Heat fan forever like Oodunze's career per route run metrics
72:29are on par with like Xavier Worthy.
72:34And his stretch of dominance is a smaller sample than the Luther Burden small sample yards per route run. So it just gets really tough
72:45for me to put him any much higher than where I have him. I already I have him I'm high, guys. I I know I'm not like
72:52I'm not going to put Rome ahead of Burden, but I have I think I have Rome and Burden in the same tier.
72:58I have Burden at like 45. I have Rome at like Let's do Let's do a running back. We'll do Sean Tucker here.
73:06Take Sean Tucker.
73:08And then that is the team.
73:10Bang.
73:11That is it.
73:12We go from the top. We go JT Bowers, DeVonta Smith, Mike Evans, Terry McLaurin, Jalen Hurts, Jayden Reed, Jake Kmet, Dalvin
73:20Cook, Jordan Mason, Wan'Dale Robinson, George Kittle, Rashid Shaheed, Daniel Jones, Trey Tucker, Mendoza, Mike Washington, Braelon Allen, and Sean Tucker to close out the night.
73:30I will give a last note here on the basement draft guide.com. Make sure you check it out if you have a draft
73:37coming up. You can get my tiered top 200, my ADP edge tool, the targets, fades, player notes, flex check tool.
73:44You can sync it to your sleeper draft so that as your sleeper draft is going on, it crosses off picks as you go. You can
73:49see all of the changes I'm making every day. There is a change log that updates with every move that I am making in the
73:55rankings. Uh and then of course, if you have any suggestions, any feedback, please let me know. We are working to make this thing better and
74:02better every single day. You can find that in the description and the comment section down below, but appreciate you guys watching, hanging
74:10out, and I will be here tomorrow, and I will see you in the next one.
