A.J. Brown

PositiveValue18:39

Ron Stewart highlights A.J. Brown as a significant value, expressing surprise that he fell as far as the fourth round in the draft.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury60:40

The source identifies Alec Pierce's injury status as the primary driver for the Colts signing Keenan Allen, noting that Pierce is "nowhere close to playing."

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveValue5:49

Ron Stewart is highly enthusiastic about CeeDee Lamb, stating he is "running to the podium" to select him at the 2.04 position. Stewart argues Lamb is currently undervalued due to last year's injury and performance, projecting a return to a 1.05 or 1.06 ADP if he performs well. Lamb's favorable playoff schedule is cited as a key factor for his high upside, though Stewart notes he has a bye week that requires roster planning.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeUsage21:59

The source notes that it is easier to identify the downside risk for other players compared to Chase Brown, implying a more favorable outlook for Brown's role or stability.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

PositiveProjection0:32

Ron Stewart ranks Christian McCaffrey as his highest-ranked player, asserting that no other player, including Jahmyr Gibbs, possesses similar upside. Although Stewart is willing to bypass him for Jonathan Taylor based on team preference, he maintains a strong preference for McCaffrey over Taylor in a vacuum.

Insight page

Christian Watson

NegativeValue46:54

The source reflects on a past draft decision where they passed on Ladd McConkey to select Christian Watson, noting that Watson 'did not [do] much later.'

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue6:22

Colston Loveland is highlighted as a preferred tight end target in the draft, grouped alongside Trey McBride as a high-value option for the team.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeValue30:11

The source notes that Courtland Sutton is being drafted in the current range but lacks the upside of TreVeyon Henderson.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveValue34:04

The source expresses interest in drafting Dallas Goedert as a viable tight end option.

Insight page

Darrell Henderson

PositiveUsage45:47

The source describes Darrell Henderson as a 'monster down the stretch' in the context of his role alongside Kyren Williams.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeProjection20:41

DeVonta Smith was selected by the team in the draft, confirming his status as a target within their current draft strategy.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeValue12:20

The source notes that Garrett Wilson was unavailable during their draft pick, and later confirms he was selected in the third round.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeValue65:27

The source indicates a lack of enthusiasm for Jake Ferguson, noting that the consensus among the group is to avoid him, though he is used as a benchmark for tight end value relative to Mark Andrews.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveValue7:46

Ron Stewart ranks James Cook at 110, placing him in a mini-tier ahead of Chase Brown, Kenneth Walker III, and others. Stewart argues that Cook is safer than Christian McCaffrey while offering similar upside, despite questioning other analysts' rankings of Cook due to his 2.2 yards per carry efficiency from the previous season.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveBreakout24:14

The source is excited to draft Jameson Williams, noting that his most recent season was the most impressive of his career and his current ADP is lower than it was last year, which they find illogical. The source also notes he has improved over time and possesses significant potential.

Insight page

Jared Goff

PositiveProjection45:04

The group identifies Jared Goff as their primary quarterback target (QB1) for the roster, with one participant suggesting he could potentially be an MVP candidate this season.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue47:29

Ron Stewart expresses regret for passing on Jayden Daniels in a previous draft, stating that selecting him would have resulted in a successful outcome.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveValue35:02

The source is very high on Jayden Reed, ranking him 20 picks above his current ADP and preferring him over Josh Downs in basketball formats as an upside, young breakout-style player; he is also being considered as a potential fourth flex option.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeValue23:44

Ron Stewart is not interested in drafting Jaylen Waddle at the 3/4 turn, noting that he does not see a significant difference between him and other available wide receivers.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

NegativeInjury16:52

Ron Stewart notes that Jeremiah Love is being drafted despite ongoing injury concerns, expressing surprise that his draft stock has not fallen further given his health status.

Insight page

Jerry Jeudy

NegativeUsage20:00

The source notes that a tight end's past production may have been a byproduct of competing with Jerry Jeudy for targets, which is now a concern for his outlook.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveValue0:18

Ron Stewart identifies Jonathan Taylor as his preferred first-round pick at the 1.09 position, calling the selection "straight gas" and noting it corrects a mistake from the previous year. While Stewart acknowledges a strong personal preference for Christian McCaffrey, he considers Taylor an acceptable alternative and is comfortable with the pick. Note that Taylor has a bye week during the fantasy playoffs, which impacts roster construction.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveValue36:31

The source maintains that Josh Downs will 'easily smash' his ADP despite recent team news. While acknowledging that new signings may impact target share, the source argues the market is overreacting and that Downs will remain in two-receiver sets.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue16:44

The source mentions Josh Jacobs as a player available during the draft, noting he is a name that makes them feel comfortable with their draft position.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeValue51:00

Ron Stewart indicates he is comfortable drafting Justin Herbert if he is available.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

PositiveProjection6:06

Ron Stewart views Justin Jefferson and CeeDee Lamb as essentially interchangeable, though he personally considers Jefferson a decisively better player. Despite concerns regarding the Vikings' quarterback situation, Stewart remains optimistic about the team's offensive potential and uses Jefferson as a key tiebreaker in draft considerations.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveValue47:10

Keaton Mitchell is highlighted as a high-upside draft target with a high advance rate in previous seasons. The source acknowledges uncertainty regarding his role in the offense, noting he could be a bust or a breakout depending on whether the coaching staff utilizes him as a high-usage asset.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeRole36:16

The source views the Colts signing Keenan Allen as a negative development for his fantasy value, describing him as "a million years old" and noting he was in a limited role last year. The source expects the Colts to use him to fill the void left by an injured Alec Pierce rather than playing him for 60 snaps a game, and explicitly rejects the signing as a positive for their fantasy team.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

NegativeInjury29:46

The source is hesitant to draft Keon Coleman, noting they do not believe he will play in Week 1.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection8:12

Ron Stewart notes that negative reports regarding Kyler Murray led to a shift in his draft strategy, specifically impacting his valuation of CeeDee Lamb. Stewart explicitly prefers the stability of the Dak Prescott quarterback situation over Murray for fantasy production.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

NegativeProjection25:28

The source selected Kyren Williams despite mixed feelings, noting that if he repeats his 17-touchdown performance, it will be a smash pick; the source is also modeling a high-ceiling outcome assuming he scores 15 touchdowns, while acknowledging concerns regarding potential touchdown regression for Matthew Stafford.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue47:36

Ron Stewart expresses regret for passing on Ladd McConkey in a previous draft, noting that the team would have been more than fine if they had selected him.

Insight page

Malik Nabers

PositiveBreakout28:11

The source is open-minded about Malik Nabers despite initial skepticism, citing his tantalizing 'best player in the world' upside.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeBust48:16

Ron Stewart is extremely low on Mark Andrews, stating he would rather die than draft him due to reports that he looks terrible and is washed.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveValue26:41

The source likes Marvin Harrison Jr. a lot and has significant exposure to him, preferring him over Golden Tate; however, they note that drafting him eight picks ahead of ADP feels like an uphill battle.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout41:26

The drafters identify Matthew Golden as a primary target, with one participant suggesting he could be one of the most important players of the entire season and consistently pounding the table for him over other wide receivers.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveValue25:09

The source expresses a strong desire to draft Mike Evans, noting that his current draft position is a round and a half below their personal valuation of the player.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveValue18:39

Ron Stewart identifies Nico Collins as a value pick, noting that his fall to the fourth round of the draft was unexpected and favorable.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeValue23:08

Parker Washington is considered a receiver target, though Ron Stewart maintains a preference for Davante Adams over him in his draft rankings.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeValue18:46

Ron Stewart expresses a personal dislike for drafting Rashee Rice, noting that even when his price aligns with rankings, he dislikes being forced into a position where he has to consider picking him.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveRole31:38

The source projects Rhamondre Stevenson to serve as the lead back in the Patriots' backfield, contrasting his role with TreVeyon Henderson's expected limited usage.

Insight page

Rico Dowdle

NegativeValue30:11

The source notes that Rico Dowdle is being drafted in the current range but lacks the upside of TreVeyon Henderson.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue32:55

The source considers Stefon Diggs a 'no-brainer' fantasy target who will straight up outscore Josh Downs, advocating for him as an upside, young breakout-style player despite ranking him near Chris Godwin.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeValue16:08

The source expresses disappointment that Tee Higgins was unavailable during their draft pick, grouping him among several high-tier wide receivers who were off the board.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

NegativeInjury33:53

The source removed Tony Pollard from the draft queue due to news that he sustained an injury.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

NegativeValue32:35

The source prefers drafting Travis Kelce over Stefon Diggs, noting that while Kelce is less 'fun' than Dalton Kincaid, he has a clear path to a productive season; however, the source later expressed regret over the pick, wishing they could take it back.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeUsage31:12

The source expresses skepticism regarding TreVeyon Henderson's immediate workload, stating it would be surprising if he secured 50% of snaps or touches in the first week of the season. While he may be startable, Rhamondre Stevenson is expected to lead the backfield.

Insight page

Trey McBride

PositiveValue6:11

Trey McBride is identified as a preferred target in tight end premium formats. Ron Stewart indicates he would have enthusiastically selected McBride if CeeDee Lamb were not available, grouping him with Colston Loveland as a high-value option.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeUsage25:05

While Ron Stewart initially notes a preference for Tucker Kraft, he expresses significant concerns regarding his role, citing 58% route participation and 20% targets-per-route metrics, which he compares to Brenton Strange. He also highlights the risk of betting on efficiency for a player coming off an ACL injury.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeUsage60:56

The source questions whether Tyler Warren warrants a two-round gap in value compared to other tight ends and expects the signing of Keenan Allen to negatively impact his targets per route run.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveValue42:06

Xavier Worthy is discussed as a viable alternative to Matthew Golden, with drafters expressing willingness to select him if Golden is unavailable, though he is generally ranked slightly behind Golden by this group.

3:57>> Well, I'm I'm down to >> Yeah, Ron, can we get an opinion from you, dude? We We like had to talk
4:02through at least the first like four rounds and Ron was just over here like me reactions and silence.
4:12Look, I'm posting videos. I'm I'm I'm doing [ __ ] Like, I'm This is This is the prime time. I was here late because
4:21I'm editing tomorrow's video. Uh we're working all day. Uh so, that's just all it is. That's all it is. And I figured
4:28we I I wanted to wait till here so so you we could voice our opinions live to the audience.

4:46>> So when Liam tells me he has McAffrey behind James Cook and CD Lamb in his basketball mania ranks, >> I would like to know why in front of my
4:54audience of >> people 2.2 yards per carry, dude. He This is the last year C.
5:00>> We're gonna get a pick we love here, by the way, at 204.
5:03>> I am holding my breath for this pick.
5:06Yeah, I know who you want and I'd be totally happy with that. If he does not come, I'm still really happy with um two
5:13other options.

5:27>> Come on, Leftovers. Figure it out, dude.
5:30>> By the way, you like the name I came up with guys. Luron Cobb, a mixture of our names.
5:36>> Oh, I think that plays, man.
5:38>> Yeah, we'll see if that plays.
5:39>> I think that plays.
5:40>> Does that play, guys?
5:41>> Come on, leftovers. We gotta We gotta make something work here. We got to make a call on >> and we're definitely off We're
5:46definitely off auto and everything.
5:48>> We're off.
5:49>> Lamb, >> I am running to the podium for Lamb.
5:54>> Let's do it.
5:56>> Did you click that before Ron even got a chance?
5:59>> You guys had me Ron. Did Ron What if Ron was like, I'm vetoing CD Lab? We didn't even get a chance.
6:03>> Hey fellas, I'm going to throw us on auto. Let's just see him next year.
6:07>> Oh my god.
6:11>> Um >> I'm curious just for So if he went Lamb, >> what what would everybody's opinions have been on Jefferson versus McBride
6:20versus insert any other name?
6:22>> I would [clears throat] have been McBride or Loveland.
6:24>> I would have been I would have been Jefferson. That's why I was hoping that Lamb would fall because I I thought that
6:29would be a pick that all three of us could enthusiastically get behind versus uh Jefferson versus McBride. I think um I like Jefferson
6:38just as much as I like Lamb, if not more. But I I get why you don't.
6:42>> I don't hate Jefferson. It's just it's tight end premium. We've really never done the elite tight end thing together.
6:50I think >> it's true. And >> you know, you can get in some weird pockets in these drafts with tight end
6:56if you don't get one of your guys.
7:01>> It is tight.
7:03Why the tight ends are going high.
7:06>> People forget it's tight end premium.
7:09>> This is true.
7:10>> I had to panic to find the commission help button.
7:14>> Dude, it gets the blood pumping, man.
7:17when you when you start scrambling for the the holy [ __ ] please roll this back.
7:22>> How many other members of the 2020 uh NFL draft class do you think we can get on this team?
7:30>> Get a few.
7:31>> I mean, let's talk about available >> I've been of the wavelength that people are, you know, George Pickins had an
7:39awesome year. We love George Pickkins, but I think people are being a little disrespectful of Lamb just because he didn't do it last year and was injured.
7:48And if he nukes this year, which I think he can, has an absolute insane playoff schedule as well, which matters a lot in
7:56this, he's going to go right back up to like the 105 or 106 in drafts.
8:03>> I don't mind it. I have him and Jefferson back to back.
8:07>> Yeah, I do too. I had Jefferson. I had a Lamb for most of the offseason.
8:12I I switched Lamb just on the Kyler reports not being amazing. [snorts] Um I I think it's I think it's a legitimate
8:23toss up. Like I I think that Jefferson is a decisively better player even though Lamb is an amazing player in his
8:30own right and Jefferson doesn't have to deal with the Pickkins, but you definitely definitely obviously would rather be dealing with Dak than
8:39with Kyler. I I'm still pretty optimistic that the Vikings offense is going to be awesome.
8:44>> Me too. I have >> I see them as a legitimate like toss up.
8:49>> Like >> I have Jefferson one spot ahead.
8:52Yeah, that would be fine with me.
8:55>> Uh, >> I view them totally interchange. I view them totally interchangeably.
8:58>> So, like I'm happy that we got the one that like I think Liam's the only one here that feels passionately about the
9:04preference. So, I'm I'm more than happy to get the one that you like more.
9:08>> It is interesting that like in these eliminator drafts and whatnot like Lamb does not fall to the second and Jefferson does. I'm not saying that
9:14that's right. Like I think obviously fear bakes in a little bit more there and yeah we could look back on the
9:21season and be like okay Justin Jefferson was a middle of the second pick like that's insane or we could be like oh god
9:30nine's rolling out there week 14 >> and I would make that exact noise too.
9:40>> Yeah Lamb has I don't think I don't think we're ever seeing nine again. I think we might see WZ. And I think that
9:44would be aok. Okay, actually.
9:46>> Yeah, WZ would actually be kind of fire.
9:48>> I'm happy he's still out there. Wentz, >> you guys hear that?
9:56Something must have happened in the draft room.
9:59>> What happened?
10:00>> Are we on commit stop again?
10:02>> Like uh I don't know. I wonder if the stream could hear that, but it was like a There goes Jeremiah Love. I don't know.
10:10Sometimes he's >> That's interesting. I thought we might see a bigger fall from Love with the injury stuff, but I've >> read a draft room that's budged on on
10:21the the Love stuff. I I mean, in these rooms, he was going like, I guess 210, 211, but like nothing.
10:30>> I'mma put some players in the queue to avoid round one. One roll back is forgivable.
10:37Two is not.
10:40>> Yeah. You know, I'm sure I'm sure uh poor guy in the in the draft room chat on a 10 p.m. is going to love it.
10:52Is Ron on crack? That's a great question.
10:55>> It's nice.
10:57>> We're We're in We're in Streamyard tonight. They get ripped on in your chat, but you're getting ripped in your own chat tonight.
11:04>> Yeah. No, no, that's Liam's chat.
11:06>> Yeah, that's mine.
11:07>> Oh, I see. Is this a Is this a mixed chat? Like am I seeing both your chats or mixed?
11:13>> Yeah, if you see the like link that's that's uh mine and non-link is him.
11:19>> I I hate you get another man's draft, but number four, Nico and AJ Brown falling that far is pretty nuts.
11:26>> Where are you guys at on Rice? I was going to ask you if he made a >> better I think me and Jacob both I'm
11:31>> good on that Rice >> but I I mean he I don't want him but if he had followed all the way to 309 like
11:38I think that would have >> he's aough he's a tough player >> he's he's a player that I >> even when he falls to a price that is
11:45like in line with my ranking I'm upset that it happened because I I I dislike being forced into spots where I have to
11:53consider picking him like I >> but I can acknowledge obviously See, there there's a price to make sense.
12:02>> I have >> um Yeah, this will be an interesting spot here. We've been pretty sympathetic through two rounds.
12:10I think we should not say some names here even though bad for the stream because some of these guys might rap.
12:17So, let's use the one, two, three.
12:18Looking at the queue here.
12:20>> Wilson's gone.
12:22>> So, the the queue that I see I see three names. Do we all see the same three names? Yes.
12:28>> Um, so I'm I would be I I would be three followed by two followed by one of those three names.
12:36>> I'm very cool with three first. Yes.
12:39>> Uh, I'm there as well.
12:40>> All right.
12:41>> All right. Let's do that.
12:41>> Vonte Smith. We're locking it in.
12:43>> Yes, sir. Sweet.
12:44>> Dante Smith.
12:45>> Okay.
12:47>> Look at Dude, is this the most like this? This feels like the least divided we've ever been through three rounds or
12:54dial.
12:54>> Well, yeah. And it was sounding pretty divided between Jacob and me going into it.
13:00>> Well, you guys you Liam loves to argue.
13:02Liam was just arguing about we never were going to have to decide between like Genty and Lamb at any point.
13:08>> Well, well, no. The issue was >> so Genty getting picked at eight was helpful because like I I strongly prefer
13:15CMC versus JT, but I like JT enough that I'm I'm cool with it. But if JT went instead of Genty and the discussion was
13:25CMC versus Cook or CMC versus Lamb, that that would have been a a bit more of a knockdown dragout fight.
13:31>> Well, Jacob's got Cook in a tier below Taylor. And I just I personally think that after JSN, it's wide open. Like,
13:39choose your adventure. And Cook is in that discussion for me.
13:45>> I have him I have Cook at 110. I like Cook. Um, I don't know that take him over McAffrey straight up, but I I like
13:50I have him like a a mini tier ahead of like the Gent, Chase Brown, Hampton, Walker area.
13:56>> I just think Cook is a lot safer than CMC and has similar upside.
14:00>> I don't think anyone has similar upside to CMC, not even Jir KS.
14:06>> See, and I mean, they're coming out the report today. He's not holding out for the contract. He is legit banged up.
14:13I mean, basically where I'm at is like if you wanted to do Cook over Taylor, I would disagree with that, but I'd be
14:18fine. Taylor over McAffrey, I disagree, but I'm with fine. Cook over McCaffrey is is like too much.
14:24>> T Higgins goes, that's one of the guys I wanted. Waddle goes, which saves us a discussion.
14:30>> Yeah, I'm not I'm not about Waddle at the 34 turn. I don't really think he's that different than some of the other wide receivers.
14:40>> Four up and three.
14:43I really like two. I know Ron's probably not about it because >> damn would have loved Breeze to come back.
14:51>> Okay, things get interesting now.
14:52>> I'm I'm going to advocate for kind of a a guy I feel like people are not going to expect me to advocate for.
14:59Uh I have players I would consider here event if if you're talking about >> he's a fine pick but
15:09>> I took him over Mike Evans and I want to go Mike Evans here if I can get you >> that is Evans
15:15>> that is a round and a half below this pick for me in in value >> I just so far down my board that's a
15:22safety mindset >> I am going to say >> no it's not a safety mindset I'm about Kron >> T-Mac would have My highest ranked, he
15:29just went. So >> with team gone, I'm Kiran and I hate it.
15:33>> So my my highest ranked is Kiran followed by >> I would like Evans, but I'm okay with Kairen.
15:41>> Yeah, my highest ranked wide receiver is like Burden J Mo. So I'm I'm fine with Kiran.
15:50>> All right, Kairen. I'm going to lock it in. All right, boys.
15:53>> I'm good with Kiran.
15:54>> I think we have to. [snorts] I don't, but I I mean I Kirron, you know, I think we could look back on the
16:00season. Stafford doesn't throw 44 touchdowns, 46, whatever it was, and it's just like, oh, Kairen scored 17
16:08touchdowns this year. Pretty smash pick.
16:12>> Yeah, I agree.
16:12>> I'm I'm not in love with Kiran, but I like that. It was honestly pretty shocking how far down my wide receiver
16:20rankings we were by the time we got to that pick. Um, >> I mean we pissed >> like to not have like to not have any of
16:27Tad, Ibuka, Mongi, Wadd, Higgins, Garrett available is a pretty big upset there. Um, so I I had I had a stronger
16:37tier break at running back than I did at receiver. And I think we'll also now have a lot of flexibility positionally
16:44at the next couple of picks with with two pretty high four running backs.
16:48>> Yeah, I like a lot of the wide outs at 56.
16:51>> [snorts] >> And now we're seeing running backs rattle off. Love to see it.
16:56>> Keep it going, fellas.
16:57>> I just feel so much better when the next names are like Scatabo, Josh Jacobs.
17:02Like these are names where it's kind of like >> say Scatabo in that turn in that tone.
17:08>> Man, I have zero. I have not drafted Cam Scatabo once in >> a thousand basketball drafts.
17:14>> Three three-hole is is um that's my kind of drafter.
17:18>> Yeah. What's your take on that, Liam? I was going to bring it up as a tiebreaker with Lamb and Jefferson, but I I figured
17:22you're not really in the business of caring outside of the sprint. Really?
17:27>> Uh, no.
17:28>> FPC byweeks. Yeah.
17:29>> When you when you're when you just win when you place first in your pod, you just auto advance to the sprint.
17:35>> Yeah.
17:36>> So, >> I agree. I don't think about it too much, but it'll be a tiebreaker at times.
17:41>> Yeah, I think tiebreak is probably fair, but >> we got How's it work again? uh playoff start week 13.
17:49>> 13 and 14. Yeah.
17:50>> Yeah. Okay. So, we JT's on a buy and Lamb's on a buy, >> but you know, we'll have other guys.
17:57>> We'll get an auto bid.
17:59>> Yeah. I mean, that's that's the key anyway, right? Is you're you're if you don't get the auto bid, um then you're
18:06your odds are already essentially 25%.
18:10Um to get in. So, I think you're shooting for the Now, obviously, winning the league playoff prize is is huge, but
18:16I >> How does to me the more the more important part is getting the auto bid, and you also get some benefit to getting
18:22the auto bid if you don't have to deal with a by-week from your first and second round picks along the way. So,
18:28>> question for you guys, how does the ranking work on FFPC? Is this like live ADP that's being updated or is it just
18:36what they input on day one and it's doesn't feed in with graphs? It is updated, but it's updated at a at more
18:43of a lag than what you'll get at like Mojo.
18:46>> Gotcha.
18:47>> I got no clue.
18:50>> I mean, I if it was if it was static, it wouldn't have decimals.
18:57>> Unless those boys getting fancy over there.
19:00>> Top two players are my favorite two in the queue.
19:05>> Let's take a look here. I haven't even added anything to the queue in a bit.
19:08I'm going to hit refresh.
19:10Um, let's see here.
19:16Uh, so >> surprised David is falling in an FFPC dress.
19:21>> Two. Two is definitely my highest ranked player by a lot.
19:25>> Uh, one is my next highest ranked player after him.
19:30>> Okay. Jacob Balnor.
19:33>> Balnau.
19:34>> But I have I have about a like over a half round gap I think between two and one.
19:40I like to just be surprised by what's in the queue.
19:44>> That doesn't surprise me considering showed up five minutes into the draft.
19:49>> Yeah, I I I certainly surprised by that.
19:53We You had the element of surprise on your side from the jump today, Ronald.
19:58>> Is what it is.
20:00>> Garrett Wilson went in the third round for someone who asked if he's still on the board.
20:08goes Fannon.
20:10Where where are you at on Fannon? Liam, do you know >> I like him a lot. I don't think that Tyler Warren is that different than him.
20:18And so I don't really think that Tyler Warren warrants like a two round gap on him, but I would say it is possible that
20:26he was just a byproduct of like competing with Jerry Judy for targets and now he's not. So that's a little worrisome.
20:34Yeah, I I like I have fan in tight end five. Like I like him more than the other tight ends who we might consider
20:41on this turn. Um >> I saw people maybe are getting spooked off of [snorts] I don't know if it's like the usage base. I don't know. I saw
20:48like a half big take out there that was like something along the lines of like the way that they're trying to use
20:52Conpsion is a bit of an issue. Um >> Oh man, we're going to get someone good here.
20:58>> Damn. I'm sorry.
21:01>> All right. I'm very happy.
21:03>> Can we podium sprint JO here?
21:05>> I'm down for J. Anyone else?
21:07>> This before we make this pick. We drafted Jameson Williams I think two years ago together.
21:14>> A year. Uh it might have been it was two or three.
21:18>> Two or three years ago we drafted J Mo >> back when back when people weren't team J Mo. But yeah, I think J Mo just has
21:25the potential to >> we we weren't team J Mo that season because he was not very helpful.
21:29Then he became much better over time.
21:32>> [snorts] >> All right. Now, some I the top two players are my favorite two and then I think it some [snorts]
21:43discussion.
21:44>> I can't believe how how um symbiotic this draft has been.
21:50>> It had to I was worried going into it.
21:53Jacob said >> I was really worried.
21:55>> Jacob said something make sure we all respect each other or something.
21:59Well, I I have like quite literally I think four guys in the first four rounds that I have as like listed as actual
22:07targets. And immediately you were like, "We're never drafting Genty. We're never drafting Walker. We're never drafting Waddle." And I was like, "All right."
22:14>> I didn't say we're never drafting Genty.
22:15I said, "I take [laughter] Genty, but I'm a little I like it's easier to see his downside than it is to see Chase
22:22Brown and Ham to me other than like the Dolphin." And I mean, Malik Willis looks good. So, I don't really understand why
22:28Hain falls in drafts.
22:31>> I I there's real major structural concerns there that like one we already knew that Malik Willis can look good and
22:36script.
22:37>> I want to see a regular season game how Malik Willis looks. Man, >> people people were saying to turn my mic
22:41down before, so I turn it up.
22:44>> No, I'll turn it back up.
22:46>> I'll turn it back up.
22:48>> I'm It looks fine on the screen. Like, it looks like I'm registering okay right now, but >> you tell me. [snorts] This is a pretty
22:54gas start, fellas. JT >> is straight gas.
23:00>> Yeah, I'm pretty fired up about this start.
23:04>> No, now that I think about it, this is actually lowkey gas.
23:08>> 510 Parker Washington.
23:11>> Yeah, that was that was my next highest receiver, I think, where we where we took JMO. He would have been my next
23:16receiver. I got him at like the six uh 609 in my >> I'm still like I I maybe I'm a boomer,
23:23but I'm still like Devonte Adams over Parker Washington. Like >> Oh, that's fine, too. I have >> You got to skate where the puck is
23:29going, brother.
23:30>> No, I have I have Devonte and Parker.
23:34>> Those are two ships passing in the night, as Davis says.
23:37>> That's fair. [laughter] >> Davis loves to talk about ships in the night.
23:43Uh, this is going to be an interesting pick here.
23:46>> I'm not putting the players in order of how I feel about them. I'm just putting some guys in here.
23:50>> Let me put I'm going to put some more guys in.
23:53>> Um, Rome, that's the last receiver in a tier for me.
24:01>> Yeah, >> though. I think Jacob, >> we're not on clock yet, brother.
24:06>> Yeah. I mean, I just said he's the last guy in a tier for me. I'm not I have Tate with Rome, but I maybe he's more of
24:13a baseball [snorts] guy.
24:14>> I'll say this for for Jo because a lot of people are are noting that that I was not a J Mo guy last year and I'm very
24:20excited to get him here. I mean, what I would say is that last year was by a mile the most impressive season of his
24:26career and his ADP is lower than it was last year. And I think that that makes very little sense.
24:31>> You see, folks, every year on earth you get a little bit more mature and what Jacob's trying to say is he's maturing.
24:37Every year's its own snowflake in fantasy football, man. Um >> Um Okay, I was a guy last year.
24:44>> Where are we at on these numbers? I like one or two or three.
24:49>> I I hate one.
24:51>> Okay, I'm passing on him.
24:53>> Wait, is number one?
24:57>> I would be down for bits. [laughter] >> Oh god.
25:02>> If Liam wants to call >> I mean if you if you guys do that like I don't mind having a hedgebook. That'll
25:05be my only share in any format. I I like Craft about a gazillion times.
25:10>> I don't really view I don't think he's that different than the other tight ends. If we think some will be there at
25:15round seven.
25:16>> I think he's like a lot Johnson.
25:20>> I if we're going tight end, I would much rather take Craft.
25:22>> Well, where you at on because the once you get back here 78 turn, these tight ends get yucky.
25:29>> That's I like a lot of the late tight ends. So, I have no problem.
25:32>> Tate or Henderson. Those would be my votes.
25:36>> I I would be I would take Craft like by a lot, but if if I'm not getting anything on him, I would be Henderson.
25:46>> Two Henderson. Ron, we doing it again or Tate?
25:48>> I have a I already have a lot of Henderson, but I'm fine to double up on some more. I He's my highest ranked
25:53player here. If we don't go the tight end route, >> I think we roll the dice on. I'm very comfortable waiting on tight end. If you
26:00guys don't like craft, that's fine. I don't like pits. That's fine. And so let's why don't we do why don't we don't
26:04do Hendo if we can compromise on him.
26:07>> All right that's fine by me.
26:08>> No you guys don't um care about the fourth overall pick in the draft Tate.
26:14>> Uh I mean he I think it would be my second highest ranked receiver. So I'm not I'm not like I don't think that'd be
26:20a crazy pick at all.
26:21>> You got you got Marv over Tate?
26:23>> Yeah >> I do too.
26:27I get that the Titans are rough, but >> I'd say Jacob could have floated Marv there and I would have been I don't
26:33know. I I think if I was going to go receiver, it would have been tight end, though. Like I think I'm in this format,
26:37I'm probably pitt over Marv.
26:41>> Yeah, I I uh I like I mean I like Marv a lot. Um I felt like that would have been
26:47an uphill battle and it's like eight picks ahead of ADP and >> I would have been firm I would rather do
26:52Craft than Marv for I have I have like I have so much Marvin Harrison exposure that I don't feel a need to force the
26:57issue.
26:59Uh Craft was one of my highest drafted players last year. I think I had like 25% or something. I'm just not that
27:07stoked to be taking a dude off injury saying he's going to be limited. He is a weird tight end where like does it
27:16mostly through yak.
27:19I don't know about that.
27:19>> I I get all those points. Like I've actually been lower on him in baseball where he's the clear tight end five, but
27:27like I I prefer Leaporta over him and I prefer Fannon over him. I I'm just not convinced by the pit season.
27:34Like I don't view him any differently than how I viewed him last year just because he had this ridiculous game when
27:39Drake London was out and Darnell Mooney had a broken shoulder. Like I >> if two is in there the whole season
27:45though, he could eat. Like I I don't have a a ton of pits, >> but he could eat.
27:54>> How are you guys approaching the injured guys? KD, Neighbors, Craft. I don't draft too many of these players.
28:01>> Uh I haven't drafted much KD. I haven't drafted much Craft despite wanting him here. Um but that's cuz I prefer Fann
28:09and Leaport over him who were gone here.
28:11He's better in managed. Like I'll give you that. He's better in managed, you know, craft.
28:14>> And like like Leaporta and Fannon for anyone in the chat who's not like, you know, ripping underdog every day, they
28:20they go firmly after him in that format. So me preferring those guys like means I basically don't have any craft. Um,
28:29Neighbors I was pretty out on, but I'm I'm very open-minded to Neighbors just just because he Neighbors has like best player in the
28:40world upside that I I find pretty tantalizing.
28:44My issue with Craft um is this is a guy that is like a 58, 20% targets per out player, which is
28:52basically like Britain Strange's role.
28:55Um, and so the way that he the way that he pays off, >> play that disparity.
28:59>> Yeah, >> sure. But you know, no one's taken Brett and Strange at the 56 turn. Um, and and like the reason why Craft has that is
29:07he's he's quite literally led the NFL all tight ends in Yak among, sorry, he's led all tight ends in the NFL in Yak for
29:14reception for every single year of his career. Um, and so betting on that to sustain, you know, when he's kind of
29:20would be a regression candidate already in a vacuum coming off the injury is pretty scary. Uh, but I don't know. I
29:28still think he has like more superstar traits to him than Kyle Pitts if you're if you're trying to think of a tight end
29:32that can separate.
29:36>> I agree largely on Craft. I think betting on efficiency off an ACL is is a pretty thin bet, but >> my boy Josh Downs goes in the six.
29:46>> Josh de will not have a Josh debate in this.
29:50>> Am I drafting KD?
29:52>> Uh if I whiff on the guys we whiffed on, I'll >> we we might be drafting KD on this team.
29:58>> Yeah. And I'm I'm fine putting that out on the ether because I don't I don't want KD. So someone put me out of my uh
30:05my misery. I don't think he's playing week one if people care about that.
30:09>> I don't care that much.
30:11>> I mean, in this boomer format, you take Jake Tondress and you look at your get your free look, brother.
30:16>> I think that this board shaped up really well for us. Like the where we particularly at the 56,
30:24I personally think after Henderson, it feels and Tate for me, it feels way grosser. Like I do Marv, but I'm not
30:33like, "Yes, Marv." I'm like, "Okay, Marv, come on, man." Um, and then it's like, "Oh, choose your adventure." Like, when you go quarterback in baseball,
30:42it's fine, but like these guys are taking Courtland Sutton and Rico Dao right now, which you know are are fine, but they're not Trayvon's upside.
30:51>> No, I think we got a I think >> so. Don't feel bad about missing tight end.
30:55>> Well, >> I think we hit the end of the tier a couple for us, man.
30:58>> We can crank it, too. Cranking it some cranking [ __ ] Um, >> I like a lot of the late tight ends.
31:05>> I saw you had a take, uh, Jacob that I honestly the way that it was and you're you're a great writer. Uh, but the way
31:12you formatted your tweet talking through the Henderson 50-50s play. I like read it four times. I was like, "What the hell did he just say?" You're like,
31:18>> "You don't think it is a 50? Do you think that maybe the reporter was lying on the 50-50?"
31:22>> Oh, I don't think the reporter was lying. Like, I don't think he like woke up today and he was like, "It's time to
31:26spread misinformation on I just proven to be incorrect over time."
31:32Um, like I I don't expect I would be very surprised if Treviad Henderson got 50% of the snaps in the first week of
31:38the season or 50% of the touches. I I think Raandre will have a lead, but I think Henderson will be potentially
31:44startable, but like most of my anti-Henderson takes that I've put out into the world this year were coming at a time where he was going ahead of
31:53>> range, right? Judkins, Montgomery, Irving, Price, like and interchangeably with some of those guys, >> like where we got him now, he was an
32:03entire wide receiver tier behind all of those running backs. So, I think he I mean, he went the same round as Randre
32:08Stevenson, you know, so I I have no I have no objection to where we got him.
32:12>> I would be number five in the queue personally.
32:19>> O, there goes Isaiah likely. Who's this number five in the queue?
32:23Um, that is not a pick I like.
32:29>> I think >> I think that guy's like a walking like 10 to 15 PPR points.
32:34>> What? Uh, there's not a guy at the queue. What about uh what about >> I'd be Kelsey?
32:41>> I'm okay with Kelsey.
32:42>> What about Lemon?
32:45>> Uh, that's >> No, dude. I don't think that's crazy, but I think we can get I think we can get an upside swing at receiver at the
32:52next pick.
32:52>> Kelsey over I like more.
32:54>> Okay. Okay.
32:55>> I'm definitely Kelsey over Diggs.
32:57>> Are you diggs, dude? If >> Are you Kelsey over Oh, no. No, no.
33:02Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Um >> I'm Kelsey here. We figure out receiver at the next one.
33:07>> Okay. I'm going to lock in Kelsey.
33:09Unless you want to do Drake May or Joe Barelie.
33:14>> Okay. Yeah. I mean, Kelsey is way less fun than concaid, but he, you know, he could walk to a big season, I think.
33:22>> Yeah.
33:22>> Uh, for Tayvon, I think first off, the Pat schedule is way harder this year.
33:28It's very feasible. They're going to look themselves in the mirror at week seven and be like, you know what? We need we need some juice on the field.
33:34And Tayon's got like we we've seen the upside already and he's going cheaper than he did his rookie year. Like, this
33:41is absurd. This is very weak onerained by the market in my opinion.
33:48>> Uh this is a focus on >> Yeah, I kind of got flashed by what just happened here.
33:53>> I put Tony Pard in the queue. The dude got hurt.
33:58>> Yeah, [ __ ] be better.
34:00>> Veto.
34:02>> Oh my god.
34:04>> Goes Burd. I'm pretty into Goddard as well.
34:11There's two mains now where me and Jacob have Kelsey.
34:14>> Yeah, that's true. That's a little more invested in a 37y old than you want to be, but when it happens, it happens.
34:20>> No, I'm juiced on it.
34:22>> You guys, you didn't see him shake that guy out in a one-on-one rep. That didn't get you going. I did. I did see that.
34:27Yeah.
34:32>> Um, I would be fine with quarterback here, but I don't think we need to.
34:37>> I don't think we need to.
34:38I think I would love I would I would love a a Green Bay Packers receiver.
34:44Either of them. I like him. I also personally like number one. And I I have I do have five over four in my
34:54ranks as well.
34:56>> But I I'm fine with I I'm f I'm equally happy with either Green Bay Packers receiver. I don't know which one you
35:01guys prefer.
35:02>> No, I'm not. I think Golden over Digs is cute. I'm cool with Jayen Reid if you want to do Jaden Reed. Uh, I'm probably
35:08Reed here.
35:09>> I'm very high on Reed in my ranks. I'm like >> I'm good with Reed.
35:12>> 20 picks above his ADP.
35:14>> I'm good with Reed. I I think there's a case for Jaden Daniels. Oh, well. All right, fine. I'm good with Reed.
35:21>> I think I mean, if we're going to do quarterback, >> never quarterback. I'm done before like round nine or 10. I'm not even looking
35:27at quarterback in this format.
35:28>> All right, we're good.
35:30>> I mean, it feels a little >> like Lamar just went in round seven.
35:34These guys >> Yeah, quarterback. We got stackouts, too. We could >> Yeah, I was going to say we got two guy.
35:38We got plenty of >> We have a We have a very safe backs stop now of like if we need to, we can do a a
35:44golf >> plus love team.
35:47>> Yep.
35:47>> I'm a little surprised you guys don't like Diggs. I have him ranked like next to Chris Godwin in best.
35:53>> Yeah, that's not a that's not a play.
35:55>> I like Diggs, but I would >> into the Colts officially. Is it does that just happen?
36:01>> Really? I thought he was going to be a saint. That pro the to Jordan Tyson news probably forced them. That doesn't make
36:07any sense.
36:09>> Did that just happen? Breaking news, folks. Maybe.
36:11>> Yeah, it is breaking news. I mean, not that shocking. It's been It's been pretty heavily forecasted.
36:16>> That's pretty bad for Keenan in my opinion.
36:19>> Oh, I don't think it's bad for Keenan at all.
36:21>> It's I mean, it's bad for What are they They're all running five yards slants out there down.
36:26>> Yeah, I think it's I think it's like not what um it's not what I would have done if I were running the Colts for sure. My
36:31my take is that it is um it obviously is bad for for Josh Downs. Um but I I think that it's going to be not nearly as bad
36:40as people think it is going to be. I think that they're mostly signing him because Alec Pierce was very hurt. I I
36:46think that Keenan is a million years old and was in role last year.
36:51>> Keenan and the Alec Pierce role.
36:53>> Keenan Pierce role.
36:56>> Talk talk through how this affects uh Warren and Josh Downs. Jacob, we just saw Josh go 610.
37:02>> Yeah. I mean, I think what a lot of people are going to say >> what a lot of people are going to say is
37:06that um is that like Josh Downs isn't going to play in two receiver sets now. I think that that is going to prove to be very
37:12incorrect. I I don't think that they're going to play a 30 like million-year-old Keenan Allen 60 snaps a game. The Chargers didn't do that last year. Um,
37:21but I definitely think that it will um like impact the targets per route run of of Josh Downs and Tyler Warren for sure.
37:30Um, I I mean I'm not I'm I'm annoyed about it as a Colts fan because I don't think he actually helps us in any
37:37particular way, but like you can see like all of the chats here like everyone's like Josh's dead, Josh Jones dead. I I think Josh Downs will easily
37:43smash the ADP that he's had all season.
37:46I've been assuming that they were going to draft I've been assuming that the Colts were going to sign Keenan Allen for a month, which like you can check if
37:52you follow me on on Twitter. Um, and have still been drafting Josh DS.
37:57>> Um, because I think he should have been like literally a fourth round pick if they didn't sign him. Um, and I will
38:02still very easily pay off his ADP with him.
38:05>> I don't know. Like I like Reed way more than Downs, especially in basketball, because Downs it seems like you're like,
38:10what's the difference between Downs and Diggs? I think Diggs will straight up outscore D. We had a downsale Robinson take I saw the other day.
38:16>> Yeah, I think that was weeks ago.
38:18>> Like I used to jam Josh DS when he was going around Wale and Cheaper, but he's going to be like a bunch of five for 50s
38:26and the Colts have a potential to be terrible.
38:29>> I just don't think that that's who he is. Like he's a very good downfield receiver.
38:33>> And Jayden Reed, I mean Jayen Reed's going to give you like the 5101 and two.
38:38If he was so good at being a downfield wide receiver, why could he not play over Pitman who is like moved teams and
38:46old?
38:47>> Pitman's damn good. Pitman's damn good.
38:49>> Yeah, Pibon Pippen is good and >> he's like a team leader on that reason.
38:52>> So good that they traded blocking. Yeah, >> I mean they Yeah, they they traded him away like quite literally for nothing to
38:58elevate Pearson downs. Like they could have just kept him. We have a vote of confidence for Pitman. That's not like oh wow this guy got to keep him.
39:08now. Okay. The Colts also got rid of Adonai Mitchell, so maybe they just they're just like pulling out all the cords and don't know what they're doing.
39:15>> I think I I just Anyway, I just think that a lot of people are like Yeah, it's obviously if you if you're drafting
39:20downs, if you're drafting Warren, um you know, you certainly would prefer have them not to have signed Keenan Allen.
39:27>> Dang. Um >> Fergus you guys don't like Ferg.
39:31>> Absolutely not.
39:31>> Really? No.
39:32>> I don't know.
39:34Um, but yeah, I I just I think that people are way overreacting to this. The the Colts Alec Pierce is like nowhere
39:40close to playing. The Colts starting wide receiver set in week one would have been Josh DS, Nick Westbrook, Aeen, and Ashton Dulan. Like they needed to sign
39:48someone.
39:51>> I don't think they're doing draft anybody. Why did they I guess they didn't think Pierce was gonna be this bad
39:56>> in the ranks >> decided Dion Burks was all they needed to throw draft capital at.
40:03>> Yeah, I think that they I think that they just thought Pierce was going to be healthy.
40:07>> Yeah, I suppose that's a fair assumption. I mean, they signed the contract. Probably thought that was the case.
40:12>> Wait, I just realized something that's so funny. Before you guys jumped in, I wrote in the chat room to the FFBC.
40:22said, "Live a little. Auto some picks, fellas." Talking to the other teams. And that's literally what I did.
40:32>> Can't make it up.
40:33>> A lot of the running backs go that are appealing here. Uh Kyle Manungi, that guy's probably not reading the news. He
40:39I think he just got some bad news.
40:43>> And your guy goes >> I'm in on digs for what it's >> Why are we out on digs, fellas? No, I'm
40:51I'm in. I just like read more as like an upside young breakout style player. But I I I was I did a the ship chasing
40:58stream. I I advocated for Digs at our pick over like uh maybe it was like Golden Yeah, it was Golden Xavier worthy
41:05conception.
41:06>> And I I've been >> Yeah, Digs is a no-brainer.
41:08>> Mad about it ever since. [snorts] >> There's I just don't see like what in what scenario is Stefon Dix coming would
41:13have been nice a like defining player of the season? We got unlucky that went >> like if Ferg went no way Dak goes.
41:22>> I think Diggs could be solid. I just think that Golden could be one of the most important players of the of the
41:27entire season.
41:28>> Oh man, Jacob, you're trying to get the whole band back together, man. You're trying to get Golden Henderson, J Mo.
41:35>> I love it. Never wrongly.
41:38>> Quite happy with one here. I think we'd be brave and just throw. I mean, how late do you think this guy goes?
41:46>> Um, impossible.
41:48>> Way later. Way later, >> probably. Right.
41:52>> Uh, if we're going to do that team, I would do a different player on it.
41:57>> God, that's wretched stuff from you, Jacob.
42:01>> I I would I mean, I'll pound the table for Golden here or Worthy.
42:06>> Are we just out on Is am I an Is like Mai is Mai Lemon just dead? The hamstring.
42:10>> Oh, Lemon's still available.
42:13>> I don't love Lemon on a Smith theme.
42:15>> I don't >> I feel like it's late enough that like >> H >> I don't hate it. I I prefer Golden. I I
42:22prefer Golden, but I'm fine with Lemon.
42:23I didn't actually realize he was still on the board.
42:24>> I mean, we have Jaden Reed. What's the difference between Golden Reed and Lemon SP?
42:27>> Because you don't you don't cuz if you take your eighth and ninth and one of them's a huge hit and one of them's a
42:31bust, that's fine. If it's different when you had a guy in the third.
42:34Literally, the guys who won the FFBC main event had like a dead Leonard Fernette in the third one year.
42:39>> All right, I'm I'm Lemon, but you guys can >> I'm with you, Ron. Lemon.
42:44>> All right, we can do lemon.
42:47>> He's a much better managed play.
42:51>> I can't wait to argue about cutting him in week seven.
42:53>> We're not.
42:54>> No, we're not going to cut Mland.
42:57>> Not on my watch.
42:59>> Okay. What What do we think happens to the quarterback now? We just like don't take him to like the 15th round or
43:04>> Jar Jared Goff is our QB1 at this point.
43:06Yeah.
43:08>> Yeah.
43:09>> Could be MVP this year.
43:10>> Well, no, we also have uh we also have a Chief out as well if we want to. But like his AD uh 13th round for the Chief,
43:1714th for Lion, 15th for Green Bay, >> 15th for your boy Malik Willis. like I think number >> I think I I think we're at a critical
43:27point in the draft here where there are remain uh multiple very interesting upside picks available right before that's about to die and I I think we
43:34should try to make one more before we go quarterback.
43:36>> Someone asked he's been sprinting off to the side today.
43:43>> Hear me out. What about this guy I just put in the top of the queue here?
43:48>> We could use some juice at this position and it dies off. Um, one sec. Let me see.
43:54>> Also, how about this other name I put just below him because he might be the starting running back on his team.
44:03>> Um, I would I would go the guy at the bottom of the queue over over that guy.
44:07Oh, he's gone now. Anyway, >> I'm going to say his name because you guys are going to shoot me down. But, uh
44:11Oh, Terren Ferguson. Wow. Uh, >> that's >> no love whatsoever for Quentyn Johnston.
44:17I'm not even a QJ guy, but 10th round is pretty >> I already took you on one main event. I don't want him on my
44:23>> No, never never.
44:26>> I was I was advocating for Marshon Lloyd there because >> I mean this could be like a Josh Jacobs like never see you again. [snorts]
44:34>> I I'm putting a second tight end in the queue uh just as a talking point. Are neither of the tight ends in the queue
44:41interesting?
44:42>> The first guy in the queue.
44:43>> Okay. Uh uh not for me.
44:47I would like the guy that I've wanted for two rounds. So >> yeah, I I'll I'll seed that to Jacob if
44:52he's here.
44:53>> Yeah, I'll give the Jacob. I'll give you that. But here here's the only thing I'll say is running back gets way
44:58grosser once this guy goes like this.
45:01>> I feel kind of great about >> I I think that there's I think that he I think I like the guy that you picked,
45:05but I he's still beneath multiple receivers to me.
45:10>> I'm down for Golden. If we want to just double up Mitchell or Matthew Golden. I we have we have five receivers, but we don't have a
45:19lot of depth. Like like Jamo's a little uncertain week to week. Reed and Lemon are huge question marks.
45:25>> I I would love Golden. I'm I'm equally happy with Worthy if people want to do worthy, but I'd love Golden.
45:29>> Yeah, I'm golden over worthy.
45:30>> I'd personally do Katon Mitchell, but I'm >> I'm QJ over Bolt, though. I want that.
45:34>> Jacob really wanted Golden. I'll give you this, Jacob. All right. Please. I wanted this.
45:38>> This is the guy that like for like 12 straight weeks while Katon Mitchell is like the highest advance rate player. We can I can [laughter]
45:46I'm just kidding.
45:47>> I do I do like Katon. Um I think I think Jawan would have been good.
45:51>> I just think there's a lot there's like probably 20 wide receivers I could dream of upside for pretty soon. And at running back that's
46:00not the case past tier. So I like to hit the end of a tier.
46:06I guess my thing is us taking Kiran makes it so like >> I'm assuming that Kir is is scoring 15 touchdowns and Henderson is a monster
46:15down the stretch and I just want to make sure >> uh this like fourth flex spot between Reed Ma or I guess you know we would
46:22have I guess in theory a running back in the flex. Um but yeah, I feel like our wide receiver four we take three shots at there and I
46:32feel pretty good about it.
46:34Yeah, I mean Katon's a weird player because he either is a terrible managed pick and we just can never guess him
46:43or Mike McDaniel wanted poster turns him into a Chan see you later Hampton like I don't I don't really know how it's going to go for the Chargers.
46:54>> I want to say me and Jacob both like Kian Mitchell. I would just have him as a tier below the this like wide receiver
47:02area of like Golden where the Yison QJ q QJ I can't believe I'm I can't did did we
47:15draft rookie QJ or actually no no I think we maybe draft maybe we passed on we passed on uh for sure I thought we passed on like
47:23rookie lad and that was a big contention point back in the day >> we did we passed on Ricky Lad who I
47:29desperately wanted for for Christian Watson who did not much later.
47:36>> See though all of them are great players players.
47:43>> I asked someone with AI to tally up our disagreements over the years, Jacob, but no one got back to me and I don't have
47:51AI. I I think that the simplest way of putting this is that um two years ago um I was right and we didn't listen to
47:58>> that's not true. You made us over Jayen Daniels. That that's if we did Jaden. We would have been fine.
48:05>> Uh we also would we would have been more than fine if we had lad Brock ball.
48:08Anyway, you you cut me off before I gave you credit for last year. Um you were right and we should have listened.
48:16Uh, so is so you guys have Mark Andrews like a firm tier below this like >> Mark Andrews Mark Andrew Mark Andrews
48:26>> he's not in my u he's not on my draft board >> Ron I would rather die than draft Mark Andrews on this team.
48:32>> Yeah that's like that's I'm returning my equity if Mark Andrews is uh part of the consideration. What's the What's the
48:38case there for him being like a secondass citizen with uh >> every report is like oh Mark Andrews looks terrible >> oldwashed
48:49Hner.
48:52>> What's the difference between Mark Andrews and Jackson Haw?
48:56>> Dude, Mark Andrews could lead the Ravens in receiving touchdowns this year. He does have a high um >> what if Lamar just throws for 40
49:05touchdowns and Andrews like is Devonte Adams from last year. He has like career lows in efficiency but he scores like 12
49:11touchdowns and I get in Titan premium that's not super valuable but like a two rounds after Jake Ferguson damn Jawan coming back would have been
49:20sweet.
49:23He probably would have been is the pick.
49:24Like Golden's the fun pick, but I do think Jawan was probably the correct pick there.
49:29>> If we weren't if we weren't going uh Golden, I definitely would have won.
49:31>> He had 900 yards last year.
49:34>> Yeah. No, he he's a he's a smash. I I think I think Jawan I wish we could take back the Kelsey
49:40pick seeing how far Jawan was there because I I actually think I have Jawan had a Kelsey.
49:46>> I don't know who we would have done over Kelsey. Everything else is kind of dried up. I guess it would just be like a fun
49:51running back there. I don't know.
49:52>> Well, I guess it would be like I mean probably Jaden >> Reo.
49:56>> Yeah.
49:58>> No.
49:59>> Yeah. I mean, maybe maybe we go maybe we go quarterback there instead of tight end, right? I mean, that's that I
50:03probably like like let's say we do >> um let's let's say we do Jawan instead of Golden. We keep Reed and Lemon the
50:12same, but we take Jaden Daniels instead of Kelsey.
50:15>> Yeah.
50:20So that's like there's there's a lot of comments that were like, you know, Jacob coping, Jacob mad, whatever about the thing. The person who understands me
50:28least, Eric Moore, who said, "Why is he not running around the room celebrating?" Like celebrating that my team signed Keenan out. Absolutely not.
50:36>> Don't latch on to the negative, Jacob.
50:38Let it roll.
50:39>> I No, I I was just saying I thought it was uh >> How many people you >> funnier funnier that someone thought it
50:44would be a positive to me.
50:46>> Ron, how [laughter] many people are watching this?
50:48Uh, streamer it says 1,600. I don't know.
50:52>> That's a Wow.
50:53>> I don't know who's native to what.
50:55>> It's It's 652 on my end. So, you got a thousand going on your end.
51:00>> Oh, I Anyone out there, subscribe, leave a like. There's Jordan Tyson. I know uh you floated a couple times.
51:06>> Subscribe and like.
51:11>> Um, I like Brock Perie a lot.
51:15>> Really? It's not quite where I was headed.
51:20>> I'm okay with Herbert or Herbert's gone.
51:23>> Um I I think unstacked Perty over stacked Mahomes is a little much for me.
51:29>> I think >> I'm firmly Perty over Mahomes. Party's going to be MVP this year.
51:34>> Um >> I think we can push QB at this pick, but I don't have a compelling I don't have a
51:40compelling second.
51:41>> I like Chig.
51:43>> I don't like Ch.
51:44>> I like Boston.
51:46I like >> I'm I'm Boston as well, but it's like embarrass. Yeah, I'm probably Bsby or Boston. But >> I like Debo.
51:56>> I'm Boston over Debo.
51:58>> Debo sets up the party.
52:01I'll I'll vote I'll vote any any of Boston Spears or Chig. My My official votes Chig.
52:08>> Boston round.
52:08>> Uh I'm I'm Boston or uh Tank.
52:11>> All right.
52:11>> All right. Let's do Boston and figure out if we're going QB or tight end here.
52:15And now we're [ __ ] done at receiver.
52:17>> Yeah. Yeah.
52:18>> No more wide receiver, >> which I don't like because it's like it kind of locks us out of like Cyrus
52:23Allen, Pat Bryland, Pat Bryant, Jaylen Lane. I don't think it's >> If we're starting any of those guys, we're dead.
52:31>> What if this team?
52:32>> Were you dead if you started rookie year Puku Nula? No, that's what like saved our team that year.
52:38>> But that could be done like I would have Boston in that same breath. Not on the >> Allen.
52:49>> Let's think.
52:53>> Seven wide receiver.
52:56>> Yeah. Is this baseball?
52:58>> This is going to be good though, man.
53:00This is going to be good.
53:01>> Brandon Aubrey.
53:02>> We're going to have studs.
53:04>> We're gonna have studs through the flex at all times. We have running backs. We have a tight end.
53:11I don't know. We take RB round one and then Kairen and then Henderson. I just don't really feel pressed to do much
53:17more.
53:18>> Where were we at on Tank Bsby's toe injury today? No big deal.
53:23>> I'm I No big deal.
53:25>> Possible to know.
53:27>> Uh >> I My vote here is uh I'll be saying it out loud. It's going to be Momes is my vote here. I'm
53:37pretty over Mahomes even with the stacking >> unstack. There goes Cyrus Allen.
53:43>> What about What about like um like Sadi or Gadston or like one of these? Like >> they're going to be there next.
53:51>> They're going to be there next round.
53:52>> We uh Chig already went. My vote is Mahomes, but I am open to I mean now that Tank's gone, I really
53:58>> There's only one other uh drafter that needs quarterback though.
54:02>> What about uh Jaden Blue?
54:04>> Jaden Blue. Oh, >> Jaden Blue.
54:08>> Jaden Blue then.
54:09>> I like Woody Marks. What about Woody Marks?
54:12>> No.
54:12>> What about Jaden Blue?
54:13>> H Yeah, I'm Jaden Blue.
54:16>> Really?
54:17>> Mhm.
54:19>> Yeah.
54:21>> No love for Woody Mark.
54:22>> Have Have AI lock this one down. This is going to be This is going to be the difference right here. Give me Jaden
54:27Blue over Woody Marks.
54:28>> We're not doing Woody Marks.
54:30Undraftable.
54:31>> This is the one.
54:33This is what we look back and >> Woody Marks is likeellar with David Montgomery and an ankle twist away from being
54:41>> the starting running back on like a super defensive team.
54:46>> The issue is he had that >> he was the starting running back last year and he was borderline useless.
54:53>> He's like he's like I don't know. He's like Quint now.
54:56>> We we literally saw his contingent upside last year and it was like mostly unstartable. I'm not hoping that blue is
55:02a ton of injuries last year.
55:04>> Don't put that smut on my >> You are hoping blue is basically it is a little bit like your your argument makes
55:10sense in baseball, but in in reddraft the difference between a standalone role of eight points per game and three points per game is is pretty much
55:17meaningless. So the only question is like what what's the absolute contingent upside ceiling? Yeah, I think >> we've seen we've seen Woody marks the
55:26ceiling and it was it was really depressing.
55:29>> And according to Davis, Jaden Blue is 210bs.
55:35>> That is a dead lie, >> dude. He said that straight face on ship chasing and I'm done.
55:40>> He added an extra 12 there.
55:45>> He says 210.
55:47>> I'm dead.
55:51Dylan Samson is actually a good pick, too. What What did you make uh Jacob? I know that you've been lower. Uh I've
55:57been with you lower on Judkins. His usage in the preseason looked good, but then we have Dylan Samson like ripping off long like screens and runs and
56:03stuff.
56:03>> I um >> I'm curious.
56:04>> I've been high on Judkins in baseball.
56:07>> Yes.
56:07>> But I like But in in FFPC, like >> I'm just like it's it's kind of what I just said about
56:17Marks obviously at a higher level, but like Judkins's floor of having 20 touches every week and probably, you know, very rarely having under seven to
56:26eight points like that has some level of meaning in baseball um in a way that it just doesn't in this format. So, I I do
56:33feel like his ceiling is very capped um based on touchdown expectation and and receiving value. So, it's it's hard for me to envision him being like better
56:44than a high-end compiling RB2, >> which >> in FFPC like you can you can find a way to arbitrage that.
56:52>> Yeah, that that's where I'm at as well.
56:54It it's just tough because I think he's a player coming out of school that I liked, but then you also have like the
56:58injury thing and I'm seeing like like Jeff Mueller put it out today that like he's not I don't I don't I don't want to
57:03run to the hills with like, you know, 15 snaps of a preseason game, but he doesn't like look like he did last year.
57:09>> Uh he looked like kind of special at times last year, but like now he's banged up and then the offense could
57:13just be >> We got former champ in here, >> Nick. Imagine winning this tourney two times.
57:19>> That was pretty legendary.
57:20>> Wow.
57:22>> Uh here's my take on the injured guys. I think week one's going to happen and a lot of people are going to be like, "Oo
57:29yeah, Bon Knicks did get hurt last year very late in the season. Oh, Daniel Jones is coming off the Achilles and a
57:36lot of people are just kind of like nah waving it right now. Oh, Judkins did break his leg horrifically very late in
57:42the season and people are not going to be feeling so good about those injured guys come week one.
57:49Where are you at on uh this Bree and Jeremiah Love stuff?
57:54>> Jeremiah Love I don't think golf um dropped too much.
57:59>> Was he somebody you were drafting prior?
58:01>> Oh yeah. I mean I had him ranked like in the middle of the second.
58:05>> Okay.
58:05>> Um >> and we're still two three turn even with the high ankle.
58:10>> I think I'll put him in the third.
58:12>> Yeah, I have him like 302 right now. 303 something like that.
58:15>> Yeah, somewhere around there. I think I'll put him um and on DK he's going to go in the fourth and just accept that. And an underdog he
58:26probably won't. I did a couple drafts on DK this morning. He went higher than he did before he played the preseason. Like
58:33I was getting him at like the 34 turn before the preseason. He went like 304 305 this morning in some drafts.
58:40>> Yeah.
58:41>> Maybe too early to for that.
58:44Um, where are you guys at as far as position here? Because I put some guys in the queue I like.
58:51>> Ah, [ __ ] That's the guy I wanted actually.
58:53>> Yeah, I had him in the queue.
58:55>> Um, uh, I like some of the names that you put in the queue and I I don't like some others.
59:04>> I'm probably onesie leaning here if you're asking position. I would I would really like us to to make some progress
59:10on the tight end room >> because we're currently we currently only have a 37y old.
59:16>> I re I think eight and six are great bets for that.
59:23>> Uh let me refresh.
59:24>> I even like nine and 10. I I like >> there is no 10 in the queue to me.
59:30>> Refresh. I I added some extra names, Liam.
59:32>> Oh, refresh. Uh, who do who did you say you like? So, I like if I was tight ends, my favorites are Yeah,
59:41>> I would be six or eight, but I would also be very about >> Damn, I would like to >> I think
59:52is getting cute.
59:54>> I I mean, I would just rather have Goth than Party straight up with a J Mo team.
59:59I wouldn't I like golf too, but just party can be MVP and Goff cannot.
60:08Um, >> and I'm pretty >> I would vote for >> uh I think I would vote for
60:17>> Yeah, Dart I like as well. I think not.
60:21I would love Schultz.
60:22>> Yeah, I was gonna say seven or eight for me. I'm >> You guys want to do Schultz? Tight end premium. I'd like Schultz.
60:29>> I might be over Schultz, but I'm fine with either an >> upside swing.
60:34Upside swing. No, no, no, no. We We need the PPR for a second here. I'm I'm Hawk over Schultz, but you guys can break
60:40that tie.
60:41>> I'm Schultz over Hawk, but I don't feel like that crazy strong about it.
60:45>> I like Schultz more.
60:49>> Uh Liam, I'm going to tell you something that you're going to be really upset about.
60:53>> What's up?
60:55Um, if you told me that the Eagles play the 49ers in week 17, I would have signed off on pretty there.
61:01>> What?
61:03>> Don't the Eagles play the Niners in week 17? I just give me some sort of correlation with that damn quarterback.
61:08>> But it's a three-week sprint, >> dude. Week 17 is all that matters in a 3 week.
61:13>> If you just check your effing DMs where I posted, >> is this is this a bit?
61:18>> No, it's not a bit. If you told me that, I would have I would have said pretty.
61:21>> Ron, have you drafted a single basketball team this year? I dropped >> blind out there, >> dude. I got the solver now, bro. It
61:28tells me what the [ __ ] going on, man.
61:30>> See, this stuff is making people worse at best. They don't even realize.
61:34>> Look here. Dude, here's the thing. I I look, few people know this, but I I placed 16th overall on the main event
61:42last year. Uh, and I didn't I didn't think I had any ch chance until week 17 uh when Perie gave me a 40 bomb. Uh, so
61:50I just want that out there. I'm sorry, Liam. So Brock Party gets Mike Evans and you're like and he did you well in the
61:56past.
61:56>> I like dude everyone in my chat can say I've been drafting a [ __ ] ton of party.
62:00Um I do just really prefer some some sort of correlation. I had Jawan Jennings on that team. I think a quarterback in this back I have the
62:07highest conviction on in the player pool. So that like to me he was just like a gold star play and Jaden Blue is
62:15a fine guy. So that's why I was firmly pretty there. But I I I should have made that more well known. I t t t t t t t t
62:21t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t t typically just
62:22kind of >> It's fair. It's fair. Um I'm fine with the quarterback here. I would probably be uh golf over dart, but I'm open to
62:32taking a swing on dart knowing that like >> Yeah, might be fc is more friendly to the pocket.
62:43>> Yeah, we'll do golf and we'll and we'll rock party team every every week. Maybe the maybe he'll cut Brock Pury. He's got
62:51Jaden Daniels.
62:52>> Oh yeah, the main event winner last year actually got Trevor Lawrence off waiverss. Many such cases last year.
63:02>> Believe I probably dropped [snorts] a Trevor Lawrence or two.
63:06>> All right, I'm going to lock in Goff here, assuming that this guy doesn't take him.
63:12>> Wow. I will be honest.
63:15Round 14 Brandon Aubrey is sweet.
63:19Ron, he missed some kicks last week.
63:22>> All right, Darkos anyways there. So, let's do golf for sure.
63:25>> Yeah, give me golf.
63:27>> Okay, >> man. Now, we needed tight end and >> looks like we're going to get Malik the dream on this squad, too.
63:37>> Well, L interesting pick, too, with the two Packers.
63:40>> Yeah, he's fine.
63:44>> I'm going to recap the team for the audio listeners. That's all right with you guys. Not that uh I'm going to I
63:48don't even upload the audio from these streams, but >> No, please please do. I got Josh Downs, Keenan Allen tweets.
63:52>> Where do you upload to, Ron? You got Spotify and uh all that.
63:56>> Spotify, Apple. But it's really just my episodes, like my videos. But we go JT, CD Lamb, Devonte Smith, Kairen Williams,
64:02Jameson Williams, Trevian Henderson, Travis Kelce, Jaden Reed, Mai Lemon, Matthew Golden, Denzel Boston, Jaden Blue, Dalton Schultz, and Jared Goff.
64:10That is our start through 14 rounds from the 109 in a tight end premium. Uh yeah, I I upload the MP3 from all of my like
64:20short or I guess like I guess you would call them long form videos. Uh but like my streams and [ __ ] dude. Like I don't
64:25know. I know I know Pete does and stuff for like breakfast or whatever, dude.
64:29But when I stream, I'm sure you're the same way, Liam. Like I I just I talked to myself in the chat the whole time.
64:34Like it's not there's not really much to listen back to. It's just me kind of musing.
64:39>> Well, yeah. I was going to ask you because I'm been very lazy about doing that and I need to eventually do that.
64:44>> I'm pretty lazy about doing it with videos, but I do it through a red circle. Red circle is a good
64:48>> percentage compared to your YouTube. Are you getting like a third of that on the audio or >> or less?
64:56>> I'd say a 20th, bro. I'd say a 20th. Uh like audio is by far my least uh because on on YouTube now like everyone just
65:04like you play it in your pocket. I mean, a lot of people got YouTube premium like >> Yeah, that's where I'm at.
65:10>> But I I >> if I was doing this draft myself, I would have gone pretty over blue. I would have gone AJ Barner over Schultz,
65:17which you guys weren't really about. Um, and then I don't probably go like Schultz or something in the 14th.
65:28Why don't you guys like AJ Barner? I think he's legit. Um, I just don't think he's going to catch a lot of passes in a
65:34tight end premium format. Like I think he has a chance to score some touchdowns, but that'll be kind of random. I I like him more on underdog.
65:40>> I think I think Schultz has a a much easier path to catching like five, six passes pretty regularly.
65:46>> Well, Dolan Schultz was a byproduct of every wide receiver getting hurt last year. Like that's probably not going to happen this year.
65:54>> He has a long extensive history of like being the tight end 16 in any given year.
66:00Back to the Cowboys, I feel like, but I I was Hawinson there. I want that known.
66:05I feel like I think Hawinson is really slept on. This is somebody who was like a top 10 draft pick.
66:10>> Yeah. Honestly, I kind of wish.
66:11>> Explain away that JJ >> Martish help. I'm clicking commission help. [laughter] Can we roll it back?
66:17>> Oh my god.
66:18>> He's not even 30 years old yet. It's like it's like you guys haven't listened to the Establish the Edge episode with
66:22with Gretch and uh >> and those guys talking.
66:27War in peace. The the third I think Hawk would have been fine. I I view Hawk and Schultz like very interchangeably. It's hard for me to
66:35like act like I have some massive opinion about this.
66:37>> Someone asked why we didn't go Herz over Kelsey and I think that's honest. It is a discussion and I personally would have
66:45liked Herz, but in these rooms quarterback just falls a lot and I I was personally counting on us getting Dak where we took Lemon. Me too.
66:54>> But because someone took Jake Ferguson, he's they stacked it with Dak.
66:58>> Yeah.
67:01Yeah, I'm I'm pretty I don't know. I'm I'm I don't love how we played tight end. I think that we probably should
67:08have taken Jawan at some point because I think he's ultimately I bet I bet if we do this draft a week from now, Jawan's
67:15going ahead of Jake Ferguson. He's going ahead of Strange. He's going ahead of Goddard.
67:19>> Um >> you would have we you would have had to not get Golden though if we gotten Jawan. Like I would have liked Jawan
67:24over >> I I would have liked Jawan over Lemon.
67:30Yeah, you're just you're just convinced that Golden is the truth there.
67:34>> I'm not convinced that Golden is the truth. Uh but like I'm I don't We're talking about a team that is is has always had a really efficient
67:45passing game that has broadcast this off season how much they believe in Matthew Golden where they they let Dobs walk.
67:53They voluntarily trade Wicks for virtually nothing. They come out in the preseason, they're still using the exact same Jaden Reed and only three wide
68:01receiver sets roles that they've always used. I [snorts] think that Christian Watson is a very good player, but is a limited player. And and we've seen a
68:08long sample of him being a high ADOT guy who like, you know, you look at some of the other peripheral metrics like from
68:14not just his ADOT, but like the open score stuff, uh, some of the reception perception stuff, like it doesn't really profile as a guy who I think is ready to
68:22expand into an all-depth role. that's kind of who they drafted Golden to be.
68:26His route tree had the largest overlap with Romeo Dobs last year. Um I I think that there's like a very legitimate
68:33chance that Matthew Golden is just the wide receiver one for the Green Bay Packers. I think that's what the Packers think is going to happen. I think that's
68:40what they'd like to happen.
68:41>> Yeah, I just that seems farfetched to me. I didn't I mean no debate. He missed a lot of was missing on a lot of deep
68:48shots, but I still think he's a better basketball guy. like despite him playing in 12 personnel in like Green Bay
68:56Packers scrimmage night or whatever.
69:01>> Green Bay Packers scrimmage night.
69:03>> That's a big thing. Every every year they have like >> family night.
69:06>> Family night.
69:07>> Family night.
69:09>> What I will say is there's a lot of tight ends to like and so I kind of think we end this draft with
69:15>> two running backs and three more tight ends. I personally like a lot of the tight ends. I I don't know exactly which
69:21ones will for sure be big hits, but I'm very convinced that some of these guys will be.
69:28>> I would like to take Jordan Love. Uh, but I could be open to waiting.
69:33>> Yeah, that's the discussion. Are we doing another quarterback here? I definitely think we should do a quarterback at some point. I don't know
69:37if we need to do it here.
69:39>> Yeah, we can we can push. Let's do it here. There's like No, there's >> I think Dulich is probably a pretty good
69:46pick.
69:47>> I'm down for Dolich.
69:51I like I'd rather do love here if you >> I like Malik more than love.
69:56>> Well, I like Dolich because Dolce can set us up to, you know, then we have two outs at quarterback on the next
70:01>> I think Dolich is a cut above the rest of the title.
70:03>> Let's do love. We have Reed and Gold.
70:05>> No, let's do Dolich. Let's do Dolich.
70:07Give me two for Dolich. Liam, >> two for Dolce.
70:10>> Trust on Dolich.
70:11>> See, people don't realize that this draft turns into Jacob and Ron bullying me out of most of the picks.
70:17>> No.
70:19We got our way on Lemon.
70:21>> What are you dreaming of with Greg Doulich, man? They're going to be competing with Caleb Douglas, Chris Bell.
70:29>> Wait, wait, wait. Make it sound like an even better pick. Why don't you >> The blocking tight end's going to play a
70:35lot.
70:37>> I I do think the blocking tight end is going to play a lot, but they were they were in a ton of 12. Uh, which was
70:42pretty I think encouraging. He's basically like the Jackson Haw.
70:49I just think like here's some tight ends I have in the queue who I think are upside swings. Eric All, Elijah Royo,
70:56Mason Taylor. I like >> Mason. We don't got to say all these. We don't got to say all these.
71:01>> We're going to take We're going to take We're going to take some more tight ends >> like in manage. Why are we not taking
71:06Njoku over Doulich? This is not baseball. Um, well, cuz I think I think Doulich has a has a reasonable path to
71:13>> You ever seen Greg Dolich what he did in his rookie year, Liam?
71:16>> Yeah, he bounced around between like 50 teams.
71:19>> No, no, no. His rookie season, he was catching balls, man.
71:24>> David Njoku got rested with the starters and it's managed.
71:29>> Good point.
71:30>> Well, Davidu is is is not the Chargers side that I would like to have here. If you say Charlie Kolar, I am booting you
71:38out.
71:41>> That that that would be a great pick.
71:44>> That's got to be >> so wrong.
71:47>> Someone who has two other tight ends he's competing with. It's managed, fellas. No one knows how it's going to play out there.
71:57>> Managed. What happens if Greg Dolich leads the teams in targets?
72:00>> Yeah, Greg Dolich is a great bet for like three for 35. All right, I think we go Jordan Love or Malik Willis here.
72:06That's >> I'm number one in the queue. Play for upside. His This guy is not playing right now.
72:14>> Everything else >> That's an interesting one.
72:16>> That's an interesting one. That's not a guy that I would ever get to independently, but that's like I think an interesting Liam pick that
72:22>> I could get behind.
72:23>> I think we should do number one and then all these other names will make it back in.
72:27>> All right, let's do let's do number one.
72:30That's a >> I'm trying to give you your guy. That's a Liam wanted JT over McCaffrey.
72:36>> Yeah, >> and let's [ __ ] let's correlate our bets here.
72:43>> Yeah. What do you mean? What do we Yeah, let's all calm down on the Liam getting overruled here. You got you got your you
72:48got the first round pick.
72:50>> I'm gonna I'm gonna pull up I'm gonna pull up uh I'm going to do a compilation tomorrow.
72:55>> Jacob, we I we would never have Matthew Golden on this team if you did not want him. I just want to say like I would
73:02have done Juwan there or something but you really wanted that though.
73:05>> That's a >> Did we really get hurty who I wanted?
73:08No.
73:09>> Jacob's team.
73:10>> You got this if this is my team. This is McCaffrey and Justin Jefferson here.
73:16>> Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I I feel like the the picks at the top of the board are probably uh a little
73:21>> You got the most >> You got You got the first two round picks that you want.
73:24>> Every pick is equal. Every pick is equal on LeBron Cub.
73:30Uh, >> and then me and you got Reed, me and you got Lemon, and then we took Golden to make up for that. So, we had to pass on
73:36Jawan.
73:38>> Anyways, >> yeah, in in hindsight, um, uh, that that was pro that was an over compromise to to take >> Why did we do Jordan?
73:48Because first off, I think pretty much everyone from the 49ers and around the industry was warming up the James until he got punched in the
73:58ribs and broke his ribs, which is that's not good. And I still think it's a tossup who the RB2 is there. It seems
74:04like the RB2 actually might be Debo.
74:07>> Correct.
74:07>> Yeah.
74:08>> Um but it's a huge upside swing. It's managed. CMC is currently not practicing because of unknown reasons and it's in the range of outcomes.
74:20Jordan James is the 49er starter week one. It's not likely, but it's in the range.
74:28Maybe it's Kaitlin Black. Maybe it's CMC.
74:34But it's August 17th and I like it.
74:38Um, someone just asked if anyone took Marshall Lloyd in the ninth round. Also, Khalil Herbert got [snorts] cut today, which I would say is kind of a vote in
74:48confidence that one of Black or James is going to be returning to practice soon.
74:52>> Yeah.
74:54>> Otherwise, why you doing that?
74:59>> I personally am James over Black, but I have them back to back in my ranks. I have no take on uh on those guys. you I
75:08I basically have not drafted a non-Christian McCaffrey running back in several years. Um I just feel like you never know who it's going to be and I
75:16don't like any of the guys that they take. But I I think it's an interesting it's an interesting pick uh and gets me
75:23on a share of a guy who has pretty obvious upside that I never clicked by myself. So I'm I'm pretty open-minded to
75:29that one.
75:31>> Yeah, we might cut him week one. That's fine.
75:34>> Exactly. What a fun year the Jordan Mason year was.
75:38>> Yeah, that was fun.
75:40>> I always love when there happened last year with Bill. I I just love when like >> Mitchell year he didn't get drafted at
75:45all.
75:46>> I think we did have I think we had Jordan Mason because that wasn't that the same year had that was the same year
75:51I think that we we tried to take Eli Mitchell and then we had to get the Kamish help to get Justin Fields
75:58instead, but then we took Jordan Mason at the end after because we didn't get the the running running back you wanted.
76:03Then then you wanted the other one which then was Jordan Mason which ended up being the the correct running back.
76:09Something like that. Anyway, we had Jordan Mason that year.
76:13>> Yes, I I agree. I had a good track record of 49ers backup running backs.
76:19>> Um All right. So, I think we go QB here and then end this with some tight ends.
76:28>> Yeah. Uh tight end, not plural. I think we only have one more pick after the QB, right?
76:39>> Uh yeah, we have one we have two picks left. One of which I think should be >> Well, then let me put these guys.
76:47>> Do we care at all that >> there goes love as a third quarterback?
76:51>> New jok. He's getting dropped.
76:54>> I made the case to that guy.
76:56>> One of him or Kyler is getting dropped.
76:58Of course, it's the Jaylen Herz guy who takes four running backs, five running backs through eight rounds.
77:04>> Yeah.
77:07>> Okay. I have listed these tight ends in the order that I think is most upside.
77:18see this this proprietary ranking system.
77:22>> Um, particularly because two is running with the ones every day at practice.
77:29>> Wait, what?
77:32>> Two is running with the ones.
77:34>> Wait, what is what is Tua what what tight end is two getting us on that isn't cops?
77:39>> No, number two.
77:40>> No, number two.
77:41>> Number two in the queue.
77:43>> Oh my god. I was like I was like, are we taking like Charlie Warner? like who who is leaving track? [laughter]
77:49I think >> and [snorts] number three I think could be like a $500 waiver ad if >> like I think he is a pretty you got to
78:00refresh for [cough] two. Two is a pick I can get behind for sure.
78:10Um I'm not all that into three.
78:17Are we >> I'm into two. It just comes down to whether or not we're pushing the quarterback again.
78:22>> I think we do QB first.
78:24>> Four. I'm very into.
78:26>> Why do some Why do Okay, >> let's take Malik Willis. Malik Willis.
78:32>> Friendly [snorts] advice to anyone who ever drafts a main event, you do not need more than two quarterbacks ever.
78:38Most teams should not draft more than one.
78:42Yeah, >> and Goff having the same buy does suck.
78:45I'll say that. But >> I mean, that's we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
78:48>> Later. Yeah.
78:50>> Yeah. We'll deal with that in a October Wednesday night in the cold sweat.
78:56>> We're going to pick We're going to actually I was going to say won a Kyler or Love, but Love Kyler has the same
79:00vibe, but >> All right, I'm gonna I guess we'll wait.
79:03Actually, >> I don't I don't give it I don't give a >> Liam Liam's chat is so negative on this team.
79:09Is it?
79:10>> I can't I can't keep track of which ones which chat is which. But >> I don't ban many people, Ron. So,
79:16>> I don't I >> If people want to voice a negative opinion, >> come on now. I don't ban [ __ ] I I only
79:22ban somebody if they ask me the same question over and over again and they start spamming.
79:28They start spamming. I can put them in a little timeout.
79:32>> I really liked the start of our draft.
79:37>> I love this team. Rounds nine through 11 I'm a little bit more lukewarm on. Would have done different things there
79:47probably.
79:49>> I quite like this team. I don't love the lack of upside at both quarterback and tight end.
79:56>> Yeah.
79:56>> Well, we could have gotten Perie the MVP >> that I would feel no better about this team if it had Pertie than Goff. I'm
80:03thinking more like could should could we have maybe taken like Herz or Daniels in the eighth or something?
80:09>> I would have been Herz over Kelsey as well.
80:14>> Could have gone like Kelsey and Herz or Daniels or >> Yeah, I wish that I wish that we didn't take Kelsey and that we took a
80:20quarterback at that 78 especially knowing that we could have gotten like Jawan Johnson or Chiga Conquo in the 10 or 11 who I think is
80:26>> Yeah, Kelsey doesn't feel too different than some of these guys.
80:30>> Kind of like Jake Ferguson. Yeah, like I mean ultimately I think we took Kelsey because we felt like there was no wide
80:35receiver or running back who stood out and so we we went tight end, but I I think in hindsight probably wish we did
80:40quarterback.
80:41>> Eli Raridan, Eric All Mason Taylor.
80:44Those >> I would I'd be Ran or Walrus.
80:49>> I'm Raridan. I think Eric is kind of being slept on though. Like it's kind of out of sight, out of mind.
80:55>> Eric, >> my first thought though would be Darren Waller, but I'm fine with Eli Raridan.
80:59>> He feels better in baseball. I'm Rar personally.
81:04>> All right. Raren works. That gets us a young player on >> Jake Tongas week one starter. That's a good shout too, honestly, with KD.
81:11>> Yeah, I like having um I like having a little bit of like a a young late season upside play on the team because Kelsey
81:17and Schultz is not really like an inspiring long-term upside combination.
81:24>> Yeah.
81:26>> All right, [snorts] boys. Who you Who have been your defenses of choice, Ron?
81:31Jags.
81:32>> Yeah, >> in mine.
81:38>> Um, >> Jags is one. I think maybe Chargers.
81:47>> I personally would have drafted quarterback over Kelsey as well if I was doing this solo.
81:53>> It's also the benefit of I'll say it's a benefit of hindsight as well. Like we're talking it's late seven. Only Lamar and
81:59Allen have gone. Lamar goes early seven to me.
82:04>> Yeah, it feels gross.
82:05>> It's still It's still pretty likely that Herz or Prescott comes back. I think we honestly just kind of ran bad with that.
82:10Um >> No, I agree with you. We did run >> Herz Herz ADP in this is late nine and then Dak is late 10. Um of course
82:18quarterback's a little bit shaky. I'm just saying I think in in most scenarios we get a quarterback we'd like to come
82:23back uh in nine.
82:27Seven just didn't feel like a really clear >> Yeah. That's why I didn't stamp my feet for because I was like okay we'll get
82:32Dak next round who I like a lot.
82:34>> Yeah. [snorts] Yeah.
82:37And then I'll say this as well. Even if I don't know it sucks like if I can switch Golden for Jawan I probably do.
82:44But at the end of the day it's still it's still Jawan Johnson. Um, like we have Kelsey's like Kelsey's giving you a similar deal.
82:54>> He's not tight end premium like scam at all. He is more kind of downfield baller.
82:59>> Like we took Kelsey. Like we're going to use him.
83:03>> I I think I think the one thing we need to kind of the one thing we need to say about Kelsey is like he's going to go in
83:08the lineup and be pretty comfy most weeks. Um, >> yeah. I I think as long as Kelsey is not like I mean he's already washed, but as
83:16long as he doesn't get that much more washed than he already is, >> we probably won't have that many discussions of like who do we start a
83:22tight end this week.
83:23>> We got Jordan James. Take a look, guys.
83:26>> If I was if I was going to pass on Kelsey, it probably would have been for a wide receiver as well. We ended up
83:31getting wide receiver value [snorts] through round 11.
83:34>> I mean, that's that's the thing.
83:35>> I'm not pulling up Pard or Dobbins like when we took Henderson, Kairen, JT. I mean, we already took >> the receiver we would have taken would
83:43have been Reed because no receivers went between Kelsey and when we eventually took Reed >> and then I would argue Henderson versus
83:51tight end >> three receivers. [snorts] >> I like to see a lot better with Craft.
83:55>> I was going to say if we swat swap Henderson out for Pitts or Craft and then we take a running back instead of
84:00Kelsey. But even still, >> but in my opinion like you don't feel good about the Henderson pick >> right now. you feel good about the
84:08Henderson pick potentially week three, week four, week five, like middle of the season, you're like, "Oh, okay. Yeah, he's just a league winner." Like, but
84:17like there's some players in the player pool like, "Yeah, okay, fine."
84:22>> This is extreme.
84:22>> Scroll up. I want to I want to see what I want to see running back um would have actually looked like if we didn't take
84:28Henderson. Can you scroll up a bit better?
84:29>> Zoom out more.
84:31>> If we take So, if we take Crafter Pitts there, we're coming back. I mean, Tony Pard might be our pick in seven or
84:38Dobbins or or Bill. I probably would have I probably would have pushed for Bill.
84:42>> Or Bill. I would have been fine with >> I have Bill ahead of Pard actually. I would have been fine with Bill.
84:48>> She could have been Pittscraft, a running back.
84:51>> I think an upside swing on the Patriots.
84:53>> I think Henderson's a good pick. I think I don't regret it. I think >> Yeah, I think we got I think that we
85:00caught the I I feel like for the first five rounds we caught a lot of the ends of tears like >> Yeah.
85:06>> Um like Lamb >> first six I think >> Smith J Mo Henderson and then and then like
85:17yeah s then then but that's just kind of like the draft environment is that seven through 10 is pretty flat.
85:25I agree. I I really do think it's just that Herz and back we got unlucky on is kind of what I would boil it down to.
85:32>> It's kind of like >> Yeah, but like could go score turf >> is Yeah, like Goff is probably like 40
85:3860 to outscore Dak >> Bills 65.
85:44>> At the end of the day, we need one of these QBs to hit. We need to just feel like we have an embarrassment of riches
85:48through the flex running back. you're going to have a lot of depth at at wide receiver. And like it feels, this is
85:56what I would say to to our chat haters that didn't like all the excess wide receiver picks.
86:01>> I I will stress that like at least one or two of these guys is going to be a terrible pick and another one is
86:07probably getting hurt.
86:08>> Eagles defense is here.
86:11>> Who do they play?
86:11>> Is that better than Oh, Jags is gone. Um >> Chargers is gone as well. What about >> gone? Eagles play the
86:22>> I'd be down for the Eagles. Who do they play week one?
86:24>> Who do they >> Commanders? I think that's fine.
86:26>> That's not terrible.
86:27>> You could do Raiders versus Dolphins >> and then they play the Titans. Let's do the Eagles. They play >> I'm down for Eagles.
86:33>> They play Titans week two. Yeah, I love that.
86:35>> Let's do that.
86:39>> They're also one of the best defenses in football.
86:42Yeah, we won't keep them long because unfortunately then they play Bears Rams, but that's definitely a twoe defense.
86:48>> I think we're we might be playing them against the Bears.
86:52>> Yeah, we're not playing them against the Rams, though.
86:57>> Okay, kickers, boys.
86:59Walk in here.
87:00>> Is Will Is Riker available?
87:03>> He is. That guy's a [ __ ] goat. That guy is the [ __ ] goat, man. Everyone in the chat, let me know who's the
87:10kicker to get.
87:11>> I like Jake Betts or Jake Bates.
87:15>> I I just don't love Bates because the Lions are so gross.
87:18>> Fourth down on fourth down.
87:21>> That's what I was saying.
87:22>> Yeah. Don't defense.
87:24>> I think Tyler Loop's a little sharp because the Ravens are like, >> "Oh my god, if we have if we have to
87:28live through Tyler Loop again." Jesus Christ.
87:31>> We're getting the whole band back together here, Jacob. I I mean that is that's an ultimate redemption arc for for our past history if we do Tyler
87:39Loop. I I will throw out like there are some free look kickers if we care about that.
87:44>> Oh, I do care about that. Yeah, let's do >> Oh, now there aren't. Never mind.
87:46>> I was going to say I usually like I was going to throw out Boralis, but he just went. That's the end of the free look
87:51kickers.
87:54>> That's it for free kickers. Now we're done with that.
87:57>> Ravens play the >> Fair Baron is long gone. Um well as much without's kind of bad >> I don't I don't hate loop except for
88:11that I have PTSD.
88:12>> How do you guys come to any kind of thoughts on these [ __ ] kickers and defenses?
88:16>> I just I just know that will reker you don't want to get in this mind man.
88:21So, I have a guy that I I found off Angel, but it seems like >> Ravens are like shockingly high in
88:29like win total, Super Bowl equity. So, they're going to be winning a lot of games. They're going to be kicking some
88:34field goals.
88:36>> This is Loop.
88:39>> Yeah, I just like the Will Record is 78% career from 50 plus.
88:45That's pretty sweet.
88:47>> I could see them kicking. All right, we want to do Riker.
88:50>> Oh, wait. Is Meyer still available? Oh no, he's long gone. Someone in the chat led me astray.
88:56I don't care. I'm not going to like pound the table for Will Riker.
89:00>> Ron, make a This is your pick, brother.
89:03>> You're going to You're going to make me do it.
89:06>> Yes.
89:07>> Um, who have you guys turn out?
89:11>> What do you guys think about you guys think about Boswell >> or Mclofflin?
89:15>> Uh, no. Boswell's a Tomlin creation.
89:17Without Tomlin, he's nothing.
89:18>> All right. What the hell did you just say? Why are you I don't even know what we're >> breaker or Mclofflin. Ron serve us
89:23right, man.
89:24>> Yeah. Well, Mclofflin's good. Bulls is a total boomer.
89:27>> Let's do McLolin.
89:27>> Let's do Mclofflin.
89:29>> Yeah, that's a good one. Bulls loves to take three.
89:34>> To me, it's all to me the key to a good kicker pick is a combination of being a good kicker, playing with a decent
89:40offense, but not too good of an offense, and playing with a coach who has no balls.
89:46>> Yeah, you want an offense.
89:47>> Doesn't even have a concept of time at this point. He like he thinks like every season he's like yeah a guy will be
89:51back. He's like a guy will be back maybe like winter, summer, you know, who's to really say?
89:57>> I I put out a tweet. Imagine try to DTR with Todd BS. Like imagine you're dating Todd BS. You're like, "Hey, like you
90:03know, we've been seeing each other for a couple months. Like what are we?" Like it's day to day, week to week, month to
90:07month. I don't know. He won't say a mecha has turf toe despite him like being in a very obvious brace for people
90:13with turf toe. Um Bucky Irving was going to come back at some point in the fall.
90:18He's been practicing on full for like six weeks now. I do think Ler's a good shout though because [snorts] I I do
90:23think the Vikings will be like moving the ball between the 20s and have to settle for field goals as well.
90:29>> By the way, Jacob, what time zone are you on? Why do we always do these so late, man? This is brutal for me.
90:34>> Um I I'm in the Pacific time zone, but we could have started this one earlier.
90:38Ron suggested the time.
90:40>> Oh, Ron. Late night, Ron.
90:44>> Yeah, it's August, man. We're uh grinding. Everybody in the chat, hit a like, hit a subscribe. We appreciate you. We're not ending it now, but you
90:54know, always able to plug that.
90:56>> Dude, the chat's saying Fairburn, by the way. Fairburn is the GOAT. He went like five rounds ago.
91:03>> Yeah, Brandon Aubrey. Good idea, guys.
91:05Um, who's our week one starting lineup?
91:10Let's Let's set that.
91:12>> Oh, that's a fun game. That's a fun game. Okay. Jared Goff.
91:17Goff, >> Jonathan Taylor.
91:19>> Yeah.
91:19>> Williams.
91:23>> Does it let you do this during the draft?
91:26>> Oh, it does.
91:26>> It is.
91:27>> I think the draft is over.
91:29>> Well, our section of it's over. Yeah.
91:32>> Lamb >> Smith.
91:36>> Travis. Kelsey.
91:40>> Uh, >> Henderson's a free look.
91:43>> Yeah. So, we're going to free look Henderson. We're going to free like Henderson and then if Henderson uh sucks then we'll probably play
91:53>> Don Schultz, Jaden Reed >> maybe. Yeah, it's then it's Schultz, Reed, Golden.
92:00Man, can't wait. Can't wait to play the G. I could already see like as soon as you draft a team, you can see what the
92:05arguments you're going to have seven different versions of throughout the Well, that's why it's like >> and Schultz Schultz Reed or Golden is
92:11going to be I guess my hope is obviously it's possible that like Reed and Golden are both like medium picks that we
92:18debate all year. I think that won't be the case. I think by week three we will know which Green Bay Packer we
92:25are starting and which one we are not >> and which one we're cutting and we and maybe Boston will be a mega hit who will
92:33be locked into our lineup as well >> and and Lemon I mean possibly by the by the end of the season is a guy that is
92:39clearly ahead of both the Packers receivers.
92:42Um, >> but I I could def I could definitely see a lot of of uh of Reed Golden or Schultz arguments in our
92:51>> Look at that. We're projected to beat this guy.
92:54>> Would you look at that?
92:55>> What's this?
92:56>> I think we have a pretty friendly week one projecting lineup.
93:00>> 135 is a good number, I would say. Uh, this guy has Cororum in this flex spot.
93:04What else you got?
93:05>> Wow, what a loser.
93:06>> Probably Dobbins in the >> Oh, doins is going in there. Dobbins against Kansas City, though. Enjoy 14 carries for 49 yards. You [ __ ] loser.
93:13>> One and0, gents. One and0. Feel one and >> crack the champagne.
93:17>> Let's go right down the Go right down the list.
93:20>> Crack the champagne.
93:22>> A James Cook versus Houston. That's good to get him out of the way versus the Texans.
93:28>> Jonathan Brooks.
93:29>> Yuka is not even going to play.
93:31>> Jonathan Brooks. He took the going gun ho about Brooks in the main.
93:36>> No, I don't want to do that. No, that's I look I I had Brooks as a target in my like home league guide because at the
93:43time that I wrote at least his ADP was still in the hundreds.
93:47>> Um >> this is way different.
93:50>> Like he went ahead of Trevion in this in this room. Um [laughter] >> the the Jonath >> Yeah, the Jonathan Brook stuff to me has
93:59jumped the shark. There's a lot of confidence out there that we that we're just drafting.
94:07Well, what I perceive his price to be is confidence that we're just drafting the Jonathan Brooks uh that we watched at
94:15Texas like three years ago, but that was two ACLs ago. And I'm I'm not as convinced.
94:22And I I guess like what like what's the best the best case for Jonathan Brooks is that he's going to be in like a 65 to
94:2970% workload share on the Panthers. And obviously maybe the timeline on that got moved up a little bit with the Hubard
94:37injury, but maybe it didn't. Maybe Hubard's going to be totally fine. Um, and in that case, like you know who what
94:45is a 70% workload on a bad offense worth? Like according according to this draft, like Quinn Sean Judkins goes in the fifth and like Montgomery goes in
94:54the fifth. So it's like you're getting I haven't seen this guy played in two years. That's getting you a one round
94:59discount. That doesn't feel very well calibrated to me. Yeah, I'm not a big Henderson guy, but I think people are being silly to not acknowledge the
95:05upside. I'm not like, yes, got to get Henderson in drafts, but I see how >> moving Brooks up, man. I I I'm not going
95:14to chase him to here, but I also think it's not unreasonable to have him in the same range as like Jaylen Warren and
95:20Raandre.
95:20>> That's where I have him range. Like once it >> once tape, Brian Thomas, Marver gone and I'm staring at Warren Raandre. I I'm
95:28fine with Brooks there as like a six seven turn guy, but I don't think in any of these high stakes I'll ever have like
95:33a reasonable room where I'm also in need of a running back there. But >> yeah.
95:39>> Yeah, I had him I had him as the most pure slappy pick on the slapsis this year, which is my which is a pretty
95:45scientific method. You know, the left and the right coming together.
95:50Um I that's a tough collect for me. I I think that I think that we should like our week one matchup.
95:58>> I think it's a solid team, man. Like we like sure we'd be like, "Oh, we're at tight end, but like we we paid up in
96:04round seven for a tight end."
96:06>> I mean, look, let's focus at the top of the draft. Taylor Lamb is a sex start.
96:11>> That's a smash.
96:13>> That is what ultimately matters in this.
96:15Like it's it's easy to get bogged down.
96:16>> Don't look at anything else. Don't look at anything else. I mean, I think I think three, four, five, six is pretty
96:22amazing, too.
96:23>> Like, if they're just a walking 60 points and then Smith and Kiran are another walking like 20 each, that's just that's just locking in 100 points
96:32to our lineup right there.
96:36>> Yeah.
96:36>> And that's >> I like I like this view a lot. You know, you know what I like also is is we we
96:41didn't take any of the like >> um we we tend to take someone in the first few rounds that we don't even like
96:49they're either hurt or they're like a rookie or whatever. I mean, I'm obviously I'm open mind taking risks on those guys and calculated risks. Some of
96:55them have worked out really well for us.
96:56like we took Hall the year that he was a smash. But um it's nice that I think our first five picks
97:02unless our team is the Monstars such that like all of Reed, Lemon, Golden, Boston, like whatever are complete smashes, we're probably never taking any
97:12of our first five picks out of our lineup.
97:15>> Yeah.
97:16>> And honestly, it could be our top six.
97:18And I actually really like Yeah. the texture of Jameson Williams on this team where even if his floor is a little iffy
97:25in some weeks we have a lot of floor with Smith Kairen Lamb Taylor and so just riding his nuke games and maybe
97:33Henderson's nuke games where hopefully he has somewhat of a floor this year is actually catching the ball and it's you know maybe we're going to be churning a
97:42lot of guys on waiverss and that's okay you know I mean I think it's a nice build with five like pretty high floor I
97:48mean I know JO is not high floor week to week, but I think he's high floor from a seasonal perspective. Like I think we
97:53know what he is now.
97:55>> So, um I think we have like five high floor players that you can lock in.
98:00Kelsey is a pretty high floor tight end and then you have like I think a lot of really fun bets. Like I I I I like the
98:10the combination of Hendo, Reed, Lemon, Golden to have one or and Boston to have one or two uh guys emerge from that as
98:18being absolute smashes. I I also don't think that JMO is that big of a headache and managed if you simply start him
98:24every week and you're prepared to live with the consequences. Like you just you just have to understand that like sometimes sometimes he's going to have
98:31three and like the next week he's going to have 30.
98:33>> I I guess why I view him differently this year is >> Yeah. Yeah, I mean mostly it's just that like I feel like he finally did the
98:39thing. Like he did the thing that I felt like he was being priced to do before he did it and then we're drafting him
98:43later. Doesn't it doesn't make sense to me. Why was he a fourth round pick last year than a fifth round pick this year?
98:48Like didn't he didn't he do it in the second half and prove that he was capable of what people were saying he
98:52was capable of? Like that was that was I thought kind of the dream. I get Leaporta wasn't there but I still think
98:58it was legitimate skill elevation. So yeah, once >> I'm way higher on J Mo than Leaporta.
99:04Like I think Leaporta is kind of like he's fine.
99:07>> That's why he's that's why JO's cheaper.
99:08It's like this thing of like he only did well because Leaporta wasn't healthy, but it's like he was materially awesome.
99:15His ADOT came down like kind of the anti-Christian Watson stuff you were talking about earlier of like he he's he's a real guy.
99:22>> But then why was he why was he being drafted in the I don't know. I guess I just need to consult the people who
99:29>> what I would love to do. That's a good point. If you're if you're someone who was drafting round four JMO last year,
99:35>> but you're not drafting J Mo this year when he's >> Those people don't exist.
99:39>> J guys, they ride for life.
99:41>> But then what? But why aren't they But but not that hard cuz why is he cheaper?
99:47>> There's more Titans that are higher.
99:48Harold Har >> I think he got another year older. So he's not like a an obvious breakout. No, no, he's he's not cheaper. It's just
99:56that we're drafting David Montgomery over him. We're like guess >> he probably does go similar like among receivers. It's just everyone's
100:04>> like wide receiver running backs again.
100:06That's a fair point.
100:08>> That's a fair point.
100:10>> Anyway, I I just I don't I don't agree that the um I think at a at a tier below J Mo, the like you don't know when to
100:19start him um argument makes sense. But I think that if you if if the expectation and what we drafted is that he's going
100:28to be a top 24 wide receiver on average, then you're simply starting him every single week.
100:32>> Yeah, I know when to start him every every week.
100:34>> You don't you don't you don't have to worry about it. Like yeah, like some weeks he's going to have four points and
100:40it's going to be annoying. But like that only is like a problem if you don't really know the player you have yet. And
100:46so you're adjusting your expectations on the fly and it's like he has a bad week and then you move him out of the lineup
100:51and then the next week he has the great week. Like I think we know what JO is.
100:55He's he's in our lineup every single week and we're just going to accept that sometimes he's going to have bad games,
100:59but sometimes he's going to have 30. So it's going to be >> I think the headache guys are guys who play one flex leagues and they're like
101:05picking between J Mo and [ __ ] Garrett Wilson. Like if you're playing a two- wide receiver for two flex and it's like
101:11week nine and half your team is on by, bro. Like J Mo's going in your damn lineup, >> as he should be.
101:19>> Yeah. May maybe it's cuz I didn't have much JLo last year, so maybe I didn't experience like the tilt of having him
101:23in the early season. Um but I don't know.
101:28>> Pretty damn good team for uh >> I like it.
101:31>> Wing in here at 106 and getting this thing drafted. No deliberation, no strategizing.
101:39Uh >> it's the least entertaining team we've ever drafted. Like we didn't really argue that hard this year.
101:45>> Yeah. Well, the first six picks were just pretty obvious and then so yeah, we had a lot of con like we had like a lot
101:52of consensus for the first six picks and then like pretty mild disagreements from there. Like there were no [snorts]
102:01drafted like I would have drafted Reed.
102:06>> I personally would have gotten a guy like Diggs on the squad probably who I just think Diggs could be like 12 and a
102:13half 15 points per game PPR, you know.
102:17Um >> I don't hate Diggs, but I I have him I have him >> behind these two.
102:23>> What's the difference between him and Chris Godwin?
102:27Other than that, Diggs actually had a thousand yards last year. And Godwin, like, isn't Diggs just safer than Chris Godwin? I like Chris Godwin, too, but
102:35Diggs, Godwin might be like legit dunk.
102:39>> Yeah. Ne neither of those guys are guys that I I consider to be major priorities in U reddraft.
102:45>> I agree.
102:46>> But I I guess the reason why I'm more interested in God of the two is that I'm not sold on what Ibuka is.
102:52>> Yeah.
102:54So you're saying like McCorin is like more more clear.
102:57>> Like I pref I have a Bua ranked above Mcccluren because like I care about ceiling, but when I then look at their
103:03teammate like I think there's ranges of outcomes where like Bua is like a a massive failure at cost and Godwin is
103:11just straight up better than him. I don't I don't see a lot of ranges of outcomes where Stefon Diggs is better
103:15than Terry Mcor.
103:17>> I it doesn't even like Terry doesn't have to be totally terrible. He can just kind of be like silent killer and Diggs
103:23can just be a better version of Zack Z.
103:27Like he's just Zack Z for Jaden Daniels who smashed in fantasy football.
103:33>> Yeah. I mean I I have I have Digs a good amount. I I just it just I guess like the question becomes like okay Godwin
103:39but then like what's the difference between like Diggs and like I guess these guys are in worse offense is what you'd say about like a Michael Pitman or
103:45a Michael Wilson or whatever.
103:48He's more like uh high floor style bets.
103:50>> I mean, I have Michael Wilson ranked probably like one spot behind or a couple spots behind at Diggs >> for Pitman is just like I don't want to
103:59do the Steelers, man.
104:00>> I'll um I'll also add on Diggs like it's not like I've been out on him all year.
104:03I I think I before he signed I had I think 22% of him in best ball. So, sure.
104:10>> He was like a priority click for me before he signed. I it part part of the reason why he was a priority collect cuz
104:15I expected he was going to raise up higher than I had an interest in in drafting him. So I wanted to lock in my
104:22share.
104:22>> I just think particularly in PPR he is very safe. You have to take him over Jaden Reed in this draft. Didn't you say
104:30like you're you had Jaden Reed?
104:31>> I do like Yeah, I do like Reed.
104:35>> That's it would have been if he got here >> safe.
104:39Would you guys have been about Diggs if he made it back?
104:43>> I would still be Lemon over Digs, but I would be Diggs over Golden.
104:47>> I'm D.
104:48>> Yeah, I mean I I wouldn't have I wouldn't have taken Diggs there if it was my draft, but like I would have
104:53given him to you.
104:54>> I I also I'm not as sold on the case for Diggs on this team just with like we have three really strong receivers. We
104:59have Henderson in the flex. Like we're kind of betting on I feel like one of these four to like hit in a really
105:04massive way.
105:05>> Yeah.
105:06>> Yeah, you're right.
105:06>> And I get that. I get that like none of Reed, Lemon, Golden, or Boston individually is particularly safe, but I
105:12I do think that the aggregate of the four gives us a very high chance of of having a very strong pick emerge from
105:19that group. We just don't know who it's going to be yet.
105:22>> That's fair.
105:23>> In particular, Reed and Golden, like why I actually like pairing them is I I would be pretty surprised if neither of
105:28those guys was a a compelling start this year.
105:33>> Hand on the shoulder, Jacob. We do this every year. Every year we have a guy who it's like like who were we deciding last
105:39year it was like Golden and who's the other guy like Golden we were deciding between we we were making some real dire start sits the the only
105:50reason playoffs last year is we had Pickkins we had James Cook and we got Stafford off waiverss >> and Puka >> and Puka and we still didn't make it.
106:00That's crazy. We had a lot of good players. Well, and then we we were like second in the consolation bracket or
106:04whatever. Like we had bracket pits like 50 point game and we had Henderson who had that crazy week 15 game and um
106:15>> Nico had done not much because he was hurt for a lot of the season for us but then he had I think a monster game one
106:20of the playoff weeks. It was like I don't know. I I'm curious just just for fun if it was if it was your We don't
106:27have to do all 20 rounds, but like if it was your individual team on butterfly effect, what tell me what the first 10 rounds would have been.
106:38I I would def I could definitely see myself landing on the first six. Like I like all these six guys. I'm just not
106:46doing more than like I probably won't do another main event. And I personally have super high conviction on Mike Evans. So I probably would have just
106:54yoloed it over Kirn because I I did the responsible thing in my first one even though I didn't want to. I was like,
107:02"Okay, I have Jeremiah Love." It my team went like Puka, Pickkins, Jeremiah Love, and then I I went and I was like, "Okay, fine." Like I'll take
107:13Swift instead of Mike Evans. Um and I took Josh Allen in the fourth. And then but I got Parker Washington in the six
107:21which makes it a little bit nicer.
107:24But no, like I I don't have as much Kiran in baseball and I'm kind of trying to fix that a little bit. Like he is
107:32it's just very easy to see the Rams like winning a lot, running a lot, touchdowns.
107:38Um, and then Kelsey, I would have definitely gone quarterback instead because I like the Concaid Goddard, Ferguson guys a lot, like pretty similar
107:49to him.
107:51And then other than that, like I I don't have strong like I would have done AJ Barner instead.
107:57I would have done um some other different things, but nothing too crazy.
108:06>> Yeah. Yeah, I mean the first I would have taken McCaffrey, but that doesn't change the structure of the team. Lamb,
108:13I would have taken Smith, I would have taken. Kairen, I would have taken Jammo I would have taken. So that's four in a
108:18row. That would have been >> I probably do Cook, too, because I'm only doing like two mains and just be like, "Yeah, let me ride with James
108:23Cook." You know, >> I would have taken Craft. That would have been probably the first change.
108:29And then um >> I might have done Pitts over Henderson like that one. I >> would have thoughts hard about a tight
108:35end there.
108:37Yeah, that was one where >> that's one that was well that was an interesting one where we all kind of wanted the tight end but we didn't agree
108:44on the tight end and then we compromised on the running back. But I think Trevian does a lot for us cuz
108:48>> Yeah, >> feels good when the next guys who go are like within a round or two Tony Pard's going. It's like
108:56that's >> yeah like I would have take I would have taken craft there but then my pick in the seventh would have probably
109:03legitimately been Bill Crosky Merritt and I don't know that I like a Craft Bill combo more than I like a Trevian
109:08Kelsey combo.
109:09>> I would have been RJ Hardy.
109:10>> I agree.
109:13>> I agree. The seventh round dried up pretty bad. [snorts] >> Yeah. Way more running backs if we pass on Henderson.
109:23>> Yeah.
109:25Yeah, >> I think it's a it's a strong team. I'm going to probably uh wrap things up, at least on my end,
109:33>> it being a little bit late on the uh East Coast, but uh always fun. I know people showed out. I feel like we uh had
109:41our disagreements. We we had the we had the uh Ron, where the hell were you into an auto pick and Christian McCaffrey up
109:47top. Nobody [laughter] nobody forget about how this thing started. People were mad there wasn't drama. We started with the auto.
109:55>> There was a lot of drama up top. There was a lot of drama up top.
109:59>> Oh my god. Honestly, that's still so funny.
110:01>> If for anyone out there that's watching, look, I I was editing tomorrow's video.
110:04Everyone that's watching on my channel is going to enjoy tomorrow's video. I was editing it and then I had to run and
110:09take the dog outside >> and and my my viewers go check that video out and be like, "Hope this was worth uh honestly it probably worked out
110:17best this way because we would have done all that strategizing and then we would have taken Taylor and Lamb anyways."
110:24>> Exactly. Exactly. That's That's always my point is uh Look, man, >> that's that's a wrong lesson.
110:30>> No, no, no. That's that's my point.
110:32Look, dude, we're Look, the three of us, man, this is what we do. We're We're big- time players making big time plays,
110:37man. Get the get the lights on. Get me in front of a microphone and we're going to make a good team. That's what we do.
110:41>> Hell yeah.
110:42>> Um, >> what is there to say here? Uh, promote what you guys got going on. Uh, I'll throw it to uh J. I mean, me and Liam
110:51are like co-hosting this thing, so it's a little bit of a funny situation, but uh, Jacob, what do you got going on this
110:56summer? What, uh, what is everyone looking forward to? We got 20 or so days left until week one.
111:01>> Yeah. Um, so if you play in a reddraft league of any kind, um, I have a reddraft guide all the way up. Um, on
111:09thinking about thinking, I have rankings there as well for the FFPC main event, for full PPR and half PPR home leagues
111:16and for underdog and draft kings best baseball. Those get updated regularly.
111:20And then I have a ton of content on best seasonal reddrafts all over the place over on Thinking About Thinking, which
111:26is just jacobsanderson.substack.com.
111:30And uh, plenty more to come. So, um, head over there and that's, uh, that's where I got the majority of my stuff.
111:36>> Hell yeah. I'll link all their stuff in the description in the comments section.
111:39Liam, we're both >> My people and we'll have reddraft rankings tomorrow. I'm gonna have to re-update the best ranks, which I pushed
111:49out yesterday for the Jordan Tyson news.
111:51And hopefully we get some more clarity on like today was a bad day for injuries. Pard Bree love. Every day guys
112:00are getting injured. It's a super El Nino year. Have a good night, fellas, and everybody watching.
112:07>> All right, I'll see you guys in the next one.
