Aaron Jones

NegativeRole31:44

Ron Stewart references Aaron Jones as a 'more boring pick' and floor option that he might pair with an upside running back swing like RJ Harvey, illustrating his balanced draft strategy approach of mixing ceiling and floor plays.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

NegativeInjury45:40

Experienced a brief ACL scare in early offseason that caused a temporary price spike; players who drafted him in the eighth round during the three-hour window when the injury was feared would have received significant value if the injury had been confirmed, but the concern was resolved.

Insight page

Breece Hall

PositiveValue43:17

Selected as RB2 in Ron Stewart's sample draft. Stewart praises the team construction, noting 'Getting Bree as your RB2 and then still having Parker Washington in your flex spot is is just chef's kiss,' indicating strong value at the position and the ability to stack elite receivers while maintaining running back depth.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveProjection19:23

Brian Thomas Jr. is positioned in a tier with Marvin Harrison Jr. and Jaylen Tate after a mini tier break from injured receivers like DeVonta Smith and Amon-Ra St. Brown, indicating solid mid-tier receiver value.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue40:18

Selected in the third round of Ron Stewart's sample draft after Derrick Henry in round 2. Stewart describes the draft construction as 'sweet' and notes it's 'about as good as it gets' if skipping running back in the first two rounds. Bowers was paired with elite receivers (JSN) in an S-tier fantasy draft, reflecting strong confidence in his role and production as a premium tight end option.

Insight page

Bryce Young

NegativeRole28:22

Ron Stewart expresses lack of enthusiasm for Bryce Young as a stack option, stating 'I'm not stoked' and clarifying he doesn't understand why he would be excited to take him, though acknowledging he makes sense in terms of stack construction. Selected as a backup quarterback in the final roster.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection17:20

In superflex formats, CJ Stroud becomes a desperation QB2 option when drafters wait on quarterback, indicating he's not a preferred early-round quarterback target and falls to later rounds. Stewart selected Stroud as his quarterback pick in this draft, reflecting his draft strategy and quarterback timing preference.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveValue18:34

Ron Stewart ranks CeeDee Lamb over JJ Arceux in his top 60 overall rankings, preferring Lamb's draft positioning and upside.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeProjection20:01

Ron Stewart deems Chris Godwin 'okay' but lacks appeal; Stewart prefers off-bench usage rather than flex consideration, indicating lukewarm sentiment on his fantasy value.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveRole16:40

Ron Stewart selected Dallas Goedert at tight end over Kyle Pitts, indicating preference for Goedert's value and role. Stewart notes that Aaron Rodgers has the fastest time to throw in the NFL with the lowest average depth of target, meaning he gets the ball out quick and underneath. This setup mirrors how Gainwell had 70 catches last year, suggesting Goedert benefits from high-volume short-range passing in the Eagles offense.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveValue11:50

Selected in round 2 of Ron Stewart's sample draft. Stewart affirms the selection, stating 'Henry was the play there,' validating the pick as correct within the draft construction.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury19:14

DeVonta Smith is noted as banged up, creating a tier break in receiver value after him in the draft. However, Smith is also generating significant buzz in the fantasy community, suggesting growing interest in his breakout potential despite the injury concern.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

NegativeProjection19:36

Ron Stewart describes DK Metcalf as 'gross,' grouping him among wide receivers he prefers off the bench rather than in flex spots, indicating concern about his fantasy value and production outlook at current ADP.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveValue5:28

Ron Stewart expresses strong approval of Drake London as a draft pick, stating "Drake London is awesome." However, Stewart notes personal hesitation about drafting him over another player (Bejon), suggesting while London is a quality player, Stewart had competing priorities at that draft juncture.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveValue21:00

Ron Stewart identifies Fannon as the threshold tight end in his draft strategy; comfortable taking only two tight ends total, with Fannon representing the last acceptable target in that tier. In a recent draft, paired Fannon with Okonkwo as the extent of his tight end investment, indicating confidence in this late-round pairing as sufficient depth at the position. Selected early in his draft (second round, pick 2).

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveInjury1:22

Ron Stewart reports Jamar Chase has a bone bruise and expects him to be fine; no ranking adjustment warranted. Stewart states: "It seems like just a bone bruise. Um, I'm probably not going to really budge on my ranking with him." The injury is not expected to impact draft positioning. A hyperextended knee was also noted during draft discussion, but Stewart's overall assessment remains that the injury should not affect his ranking.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveProjection3:03

Ron Stewart recommends targeting Jadarian Price in the fifth round of 14-team leagues. Stewart ranks Price as a mid-third round pick and continues to inch him up in rankings, wanting to be ahead of the market. Concerns include lack of pass-catching upside and potential role reduction when Charbanet enters the field, but Stewart's growing confidence suggests he views Price's job security and offensive situation as strong enough to overcome these limitations.

Insight page

Jalin Hyatt

PositiveRole44:16

Selected as a receiver (JSN) in an S-tier fantasy draft alongside Brock Bowers and elite running backs; reflects confidence in his role and production potential.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeValue18:48

James Cook was selected at pick 106 in this eight-man league draft, which Ron Stewart considers too early; he suggests a running back should have been prioritized at that spot instead.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveSleeper21:00

Ron Stewart identifies Jameson Williams as one of the more underrated players in drafts; he has drafted him heavily in high-stakes drafts and plans to continue targeting him, indicating strong conviction on his value relative to ADP. Selected early in his draft (second round, pick 2) and drafted as a depth wide receiver option in a hero RB strategy build.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue2:15

In two-RB, three-flex PPR formats, Ron Stewart avoids paying up for Javante Williams in the middle rounds, preferring to spam receiver depth instead. This reflects a pricing concern relative to the format's receiver scarcity.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveValue21:00

Ron Stewart selected Jaden Daniels early in his draft (second round, pick 2), indicating strong conviction on his value as a quarterback option. Drafted as the primary quarterback starter in the final team roster.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

NegativeValue19:23

Jaden Reed marks the first major wide receiver cliff after the mid-tier group at 612 ADP in half-PPR, described as 'gross' by Ron Stewart; however, on non-UD sites where he's valued as an eighth or ninth round pick, he represents good value at that ADP tier. Stewart notes Reed carries downside risk as a part-time receiver but likes him at the right price point.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

NegativeValue20:13

Ron Stewart prefers Jaylen Warren over Bucky Irving and Jaden Reed by a significant margin, indicating he views Warren as better value than those alternatives. Warren has a strong skill set combining explosive and efficient running with pass-catching ability. Aaron Rodgers' fastest time to throw in the NFL with lowest average depth of target creates a favorable setup for Warren to accumulate catches similar to how Gainwell had 70 catches last year. Stewart has been ahead of consensus on Warren's draft price all summer, though consensus is catching up. Warren remains a mini-tier below Montgomery, Bucky, Scatterabau, Judkins, and Tutin, but the gap is narrowing as his ADP rises. However, Stewart expresses concern about Jaylen Warren's role sustainability once Charbanet enters the backfield, suggesting Charbanet will limit Warren's offensive opportunities and usage going forward. The floor-ceiling tension remains: Judkins projects for 12 points per game with a high floor, while Warren offers more upside but shakier floor, making the value comparison increasingly difficult as Warren's price climbs.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue2:18

In a two-RB, three-flex PPR format, Jeremiah Love in the third round would make Ron Stewart consider running back after prioritizing receiver depth in earlier rounds. This positions Love as a third-round RB target in this specific format. Love was also selected as RB1 in Stewart's S-tier draft alongside Josh Jacobs as RB2, indicating strong confidence in his role and production potential despite Stewart's later reflection that he should have taken Jonathan Taylor.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveValue21:46

Ron Stewart ranks Jonathan Brooks as a mid-round pick in his rankings and is high on him; Brooks went at pick 140 overall in this draft, which Stewart considers reasonable given his positive evaluation. Cited as one of the biggest ADP risers of the offseason alongside Parker Washington, indicating significant market movement upward.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeValue19:23

Josh Downs is described as 'gross' at 704 ADP in half-PPR by Ron Stewart, grouped with Jaden Reed as a receiver with downside risk of being part-time. Stewart prefers these receivers off the bench rather than in flex spots, signaling concern about his value at that draft position.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveValue44:16

Selected as RB2 in Ron Stewart's S-tier sample draft alongside Jeremiah Love as RB1. Stewart describes the selection as 'pretty sweet' and expresses being 'stoked with this start,' reflecting strong confidence in his role and production ceiling within a no-early-RB strategy paired with Brock Bowers and JSN as pass catchers.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeInjury7:47

Ron Stewart downplays Kenneth Walker's foot injury as precautionary rather than serious, noting "It seems precautionary" and characterizing it as "more of a preventative than it is like uh oh this guy's hurt." He observes that Walker "always has some precautionary foot thing going on" and does not plan to lower him significantly in rankings. Stewart is considering moving Saquon Barkley ahead of Walker by one spot but emphasizes the injury is not something to "get crazy about" and appears to be routine maintenance.

Insight page

Malik Willis

PositiveValue21:42

Ron Stewart suggests that whoever drafted Malik Willis and Yilm in the league is winning, indicating he views these as league-winning value picks.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveProjection19:23

Marvin Harrison Jr. is positioned in a tier with Brian Thomas Jr. and Jaylen Tate after a mini tier break from injured receivers like DeVonta Smith and Amon-Ra St. Brown, indicating solid mid-tier receiver value.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeRole19:49

Ron Stewart groups Michael Wilson among rookie wide receivers he cannot reliably depend on for fantasy purposes, preferring to avoid them in flex spots.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveRole4:16

Ron Stewart expresses strong enthusiasm for Nico Collins, stating "I love Nico Collins." He explains that the signing of C.J. Stroud (Booty) changes Collins' role favorably: Stroud will operate as a vertical X receiver clearing out the field, whereas the previous receiver (Jaden Higgins) was a Z flanker/big slot style receiver who required Collins to do "the dirty work." With Stroud handling that role, Collins will now "get the fun stuff in the intermediate parts of the field," which Stewart describes as exciting. Stewart selected Collins in the late second round, indicating strong conviction on his value.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeValue29:18

Ron Stewart plans to target Omar Cooper aggressively as he falls in drafts, despite not being personally enthusiastic about him. Cooper 'got a nice little bump today' and Stewart is willing to 'hammer him here down the stretch' in best ball formats, especially as other analysts fade him due to Isaiah Williams playing over him. Stewart took him after Cyrus Allen and Jacobe Lane, which he considers a fine draft range. However, his role has shifted to being primarily a direct handcuff to Brian Thomas rather than a corner-to-receiver flex option.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue45:03

Was available as an eighth-round pick in June drafts but has risen significantly in ADP; cited as one of the biggest risers of the offseason, indicating market correction toward his true value. Selected in flex spot in Ron Stewart's sample draft, where Stewart explicitly praises the value, saying 'Getting Bree as your RB2 and then still having Parker Washington in your flex spot is is just chef's kiss.' Stewart also expresses strong enthusiasm for Washington in a trade scenario, stating he would prefer Washington over Golden and Shribbling in a straight-up swap, suggesting Washington offers better value or upside.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeProjection19:36

Ron Stewart characterizes Quentin Johnston as 'kind of gross,' grouping him among wide receivers he prefers off the bench rather than in flex spots, indicating significant concern about his fantasy value and production outlook at his draft position.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole31:44

Ron Stewart uses RJ Harvey as an example of an upside swing running back pick in his draft strategy, illustrating his philosophy of pairing ceiling plays with floor plays. When taking an upside RB like Harvey, he may balance it with a more conservative pick like Aaron Jones later.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

PositiveValue7:47

Ron Stewart is warming to the idea of moving Saquon Barkley ahead of Kenneth Walker in his rankings, questioning whether the Kenneth Walker over Saquon ranking was "overthinking it." Stewart notes there is "a chance that I just like break a tie to Saquon and move him down literally one spot" (referring to moving Walker down one spot relative to Saquon), suggesting Barkley's receiving upside and overall value may have been underestimated in prior rankings.

Insight page

Seth McGowan

PositiveSleeper38:08

Ron Stewart is "really coming around on McGowan as a late round dart throw," indicating growing confidence in McGowan as a value pick in the later rounds of the draft.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeBust38:49

Ron Stewart removed Tank Dell from his rankings, stating "He just doesn't seem like he's ready," indicating lack of confidence in Dell's readiness for fantasy production this season.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeRole28:58

Ron Stewart is cooling off on Travis Hunter's fantasy value, noting he's 'definitely cooling off on the Travis Hunter experience right now.' However, he entertains a playoff upside scenario where Hunter could be the highest-scoring Jaguars wide receiver in the fantasy football playoffs, contingent on the Jayden Daniels-Washington connection materializing.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

NegativeInjury49:14

Currently dealing with a minor injury but Ron Stewart is not concerned; appeared to be walking around normally and the injury was characterized as precautionary, suggesting minimal risk to draft value.

Insight page

Wan'Dale Robinson

PositiveValue21:29

Ron Stewart is willing to take Wandale Robinson if he falls 10 picks past ADP, indicating he views the discount as sufficient to justify the selection despite not typically targeting him early.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeValue20:22

Zay Flowers was selected at pick 301 in Ron Stewart's draft, which Stewart considers very high even for someone who enjoys Flowers as a player; the pick represents an aggressive early investment in the receiver despite Stewart's personal preference for him.

0:01What's going on, man? Welcome back to the basement.
0:07I'm Ron and we are here for yet another fantasy football draft stream. We are over on Underdog doing a $25 best
0:19baseball mania draft. $2 million to first place. We pull the 102 spot.
0:26finally having some good fortune when it comes to draft slot here. How is everybody doing? We of course drafted the Yate League mates today. I will say
0:36I can't really speak on it. We have to wait till that video comes out. I think I crushed the draft though obviously.
0:43Um but once the video comes out, we'll definitely talk about everything that happened there in depth in the flesh.
0:50What's going on, fellas? What's going on? We're in here. 900 PM Eastern.
0:56Sharp.
0:58Sharp on the dot.
1:05What do we got going on in the chat? How is everybody doing? How are we? What's going on? What's the word?
1:13Redemption and spell Omron. We have families, brother.
1:18What else we got in here?
1:22Who's in here? What do we do with Jamar Chase? Uh, honestly, nothing yet.
1:27Nothing yet. It seems like he's going to be just fine. I I think that if it was anything serious, uh, it would be
1:32reported by now. It seems like just a bone bruise. Um, I'm probably not going to really budge on my ranking with him,
1:38to be honest.
1:40Little Gasoline Alley for the win. What the hell does that mean? What else we got in here? What do we got? What do we
1:45got? Return.
1:47How was your elite mage draft? It was good. It was good. Be on the two. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. That's where we're at.
1:51That's where we're at. Nine o'clock sharp.
1:54Uh, super chat in here right out the gate from Roger. From Roger 108 start nine. So 108 two running backs, two wide receiver three flex.
2:06Good lord. If CC JT go and I take Amar St. Brown JSN and go best RB in round two, they'll feel ugly to me. Uh,
2:15honestly, in that format where it's two wide receiver, three flex, full PPR, uh, I'm just spamming receiver in those middle rounds. I am, uh, like I'm not
2:23paying up for Javvante or Kairen. Uh, Bree, Jeremiah Love, and Ashton Genty in the third round would make would make me
2:31consider running back, but in that format, I would actually say a good uh, good drafts to watch or good ADP to use
2:39uh, is the NFC, like the full PPR, three wide receiver, one flex leagues we do.
2:43Those are super wide receiver hungry, but those are very similar to the format you're playing. And I know in three flex
2:50you can technically start I suppose you could start five running backs if you wanted to, but that's just I wouldn't recommend doing that.
2:59Finally caught an Oron Omron stream.
3:01What's going on? What's going on? We got Heminger in here. What round would should we look to take Jadarian Price in
3:07a 14 teamer? Probably fifth round.
3:10Probably fifth round. What's up? We got Nathan Weaver in here. Mr. Augustus never disappoints. Thank you. Thank you.
3:16Said Icy had the best draft. He might have. Does your draft guide let you plug in drags? What the hell does that mean?
3:23What the hell does that mean? How do I get into those real money leagues? I'm not sure what you mean. Local media says
3:29Jamar Chase is fine. Yeah.
3:32Uh, are you doing any RT Sports drafts this year? I've done a couple. Or maybe I've only done one, but we'll probably
3:37end up doing like three. We'll probably end up doing like three total. Wow, there goes Gentia at 207. Man, anything else stick out in this draft? You have
3:45Lamgo 11, Jefferson 12, Jame Oh, wow.
3:48Devon Han at the 110, huh? Devon Ahan and AJ Brown backto back. H very interesting.
3:56You guys know I'm not the biggest Ahan fan. We have both of the elite tight ends go. This is actually pretty sweet.
4:06We are going to get I think we're going to get a nice value here because McBride Pickins goes.
4:17We're going to break the tie away from Drake London uh and go with Nico because I I don't want to have more than one
4:24Falcon really. So, we'll go Nico Collins. Nico, I'm really coming around on uh as somebody that I'd even take in like the the late second. Yeah, that's
4:33really the biggest issue with RT Sports is the clock is so damn long that I sit here for damn near two hours to draft
4:40that team. But, uh, the rooms are soft.
4:42I'll probably end up doing one or two more over on that site. I will say going to make me stare a round three neighbors
4:48in the eye.
4:51I can't do it. It's got to be neighbors.
4:55Oh, yeah. Let's also let's let's um let's make sure that our exposures are all up to date. Huh.
5:03My exposures are so lame. I don't have a single player over 20%, fellas.
5:08But it's tough. That's just kind of what happens when you draft over an entire summer where it's like I don't know. I
5:12had guys out the gate that I really liked and then I had guys, you know, kind of rise in price and then guys fall
5:17in price and you end up kind of going all over the board.
5:21Also, the the slow draft Q is getting very manageable. It's really it's it's really going down.
5:28303 Drake London is awesome, by the Okay. I I just couldn't do it with Bejon.
5:37When is your Made's draft dropping? Joe was saying potentially tomorrow. I I would be shocked. I don't want to put that pressure on Joe. Uh Joe, of course,
5:46is the editor over at BDG. Great guy. Um I don't know. It seems like end of the week it should be out. End of the week
5:53it should be out. It's a lot of footage to sift through, man. Uh what else we got in here? I took T over Olve. Do you
6:02think I [ __ ] up big time? Uh, on the lowest of keys over under 99.5 chats about your elm made draft video
6:08dropping.
6:10Uh, can you use the basement draft guide for underdog? Uh, only on Patreon.
6:14Patreon. I literally just updated uh the underdog rankings. Like I that's why I was running late, which is so funny.
6:22Everyone's like, you know, it's a running bit at this point, but it's because right before I go live, I just make sure all of my [ __ ] all my ducks
6:29are in a row. Um, so I went over to the underdog rankings like, "Oh, I haven't updated these in a little bit." So that
6:36takes a second where I got to go to the draft guide and then I got to export and then I got to go to the converter and
6:40then I got to export. But we're all good. We're all locked in, ready to go.
6:43The underdog rankings, uh, I get this question sometimes. The draft guide is simply just for managed home leagues.
6:49Uh, the Patreon has my underdog rankings uh that I try to update as often as I can, but it is certainly a pain to go to
6:56the rankings on the draft guide, export, convert things, throw it back on there.
7:02But, uh, I'll do it every couple days.
7:06Finally got a 102 that I can watch. Hell yeah. Nico Collins always right pick. I I love Nico Collins and I think Booty
7:11Booty is such an underrated signing because it's like, oh, isn't he like essentially what Jaden Higgins was? And it's like, no, he's going to clear out
7:18as like this vertical X receiver more where Jaden Higgins was going to be more of this like uh Z flanker like big slot
7:26style receiver. Uh that was kind of going to make Nico do the dirty work, but now Booty's going to do the dirty
7:31work and Nico's going to get the fun stuff in the intermediate parts of the field, which I I'm very excited about.
7:43All right, we are two picks away.
7:47>> [laughter] >> Do we care about the Kenneth Walker injury? Honestly, no. It seems precautionary. It I I will I'll be
7:56straight up and say I'm starting to warm up to the idea of moving Squan ahead of Kenneth Walker just because it's like I don't know.
8:07We could look back on the on the Kenneth Walker over Saquon ranking and be like, man, were we just overthinking it with
8:13with Seaquin? like should should Saquon just move up? They're talking about him catching passes, which I don't know, man. I I sometimes I buy it and then
8:20sometimes it's like, dude, your quarterback's Jaylen Herz. His receiving ceiling is probably 40 catches.
8:29You're falling in love with the Chase Brown Walker start. I don't mind the Chase Brown Walker start.
8:35But yeah, I would say the Walker foot injury. I got to look into it. I I haven't moved him down just yet.
8:47We are going to go JO.
8:50What What am I yapping about with uh Walker? Yeah, it's just it's it's nothing that I'm going to like lower him
8:56in a big way, but uh tomorrow I'm going to I'm going to hop on and update some rankings. There's a chance that I just
9:01like break a tie to Saquon and move him down literally one spot, but I don't know. It seems precautionary, but with
9:07with Kenneth Walker, I'm honestly not going to get go crazy about it now that I'm sort of talking myself into it.
9:14He always has some precautionary foot thing going on. Uh and and I just can't believe that like Kenneth Walker.
9:22I don't know. Obviously, it's not up to him whether or not he's going to get hurt or not, but it seems more it seems
9:27more of a preventative than it is like uh oh [ __ ] this guy's hurt is what I'm trying to say, I guess. We got some
9:34super chats. Let me let me get to these real quick. We got a dynasty question.
9:36What the hell? Uh, two wide receiver, three flex, one super flex. Just straight up thoughts on the format. I
9:45mean, I appreciate the super chat. Um, I mean, this is nuts. Kicker, defensive. I mean, this isn't a league for me, I'll
9:52tell you that. Like, this if this came across my desk, I would say no, sir. Um, and that's really all I got for you. I
10:01feel I feel bad. Uh, it's just not the time of year for me with Dynasty right now. But I mean, that's just like I
10:07Dynasty having to own three different IDPs. I mean, that is that's sicko stuff. That's sicko stuff. That's for somebody out there that has a very niche
10:15channel like a Dynasty IDP content creator. Uh, super chat from Cash Tatum.
10:24Weird league. Super F or two quarterback, two wide receiver, one flag, six point passing, touchdown, eight man.
10:31Honestly, in an eightman, dude, in an eightman, I'm kind of punting quarterback, but it's only two wide receiver, one flex, and it's an
10:38eightman. I don't know. That's a tough league setup. That That's a league setup where everybody's going to have a good team.
10:44It's a league setup where everyone's going to have a good team. I guess quarterbacks do make up a good chunk of
10:49the starting lineup there.
10:55I don't know. Honestly, that that league is so shallow. If it's an eight-man league and your starting lineup is what, two, four, six, seven,
11:03everyone's going to have a stack team.
11:05So, I think that that's honestly more of like a create a I want to root for the seven players parlay and call it a day.
11:14Why JJ over CD? Uh, I have CD over JJ. I put in um I did a video today on my top
11:2260 overall rankings and uh I have CD over JJ.
11:28James Cook at 106. It's a That's a little bit crazy. That's a little bit crazy for me.
11:34Think I should have taken an RB there.
11:35Yeah, maybe.
11:38But I have three receivers to the three receivers in my wide receiver spots.
11:41Wide receiver in the flex. Just nice little hero RB build with Bejon skipping out in the dead zone. I I just like JMO
11:47a lot.
11:50Seeing teammate is cooking. JT, Dererick, Henry, Kairen. H not quite for me.
12:02I guess I'm more so saying in an eightman that's superflex in an eightman that superflex and it seemed like there wasn't even a tight
12:12end spot.
12:19Just got here Z Flowers in the third.
12:22Yeah, I mean, oh wow, 301. That's That's pretty high. That's pretty high even for me as a Z Flowers enjoyer.
12:31I love these questions. I got so many of these questions. Is is James Cook at the 106 crazy? Is Tooten at the 410 crazy?
12:36Here's what I'll say, fellas. Honest to God, like if you play in one singular fantasy football league all summer long, like
12:44nothing is really that crazy, man. It's your only team. you you you play within whatever market your league exists in, you know, and if you want a player on
12:52your team, you you got to take him.
12:59Let's take Jaylen Warren here. Did Did Jaylen Did Jonathan Brooks go? Wow. So, this is this is just the the new norm
13:06with Jonathan Brooks. Jonathan Brooks went where?
13:10510.
13:13And look, I have Jonathan Brooks as a mid6 in my rankings. I'm pretty I'm pretty high on Jonathan Brooks, but we're getting we're getting to the
13:22part of the offseason where it's like who let's see who can outdo the other guy more.
13:33All right, so we're going to be up here in a second.
13:39Let's think could take Jayen Daniels.
13:54No, it might just be Daniels. I I don't really feel Yeah, we'll go Daniels. I I'm trying to I'm trying to make up for lost time on
14:01Jaden Daniels, to be honest.
14:07Is Winnie at the 101 crazy?
14:10Oh, there was a tight end. My bad.
14:13But yeah, honestly that's such a that's such a shallow league that honestly there is no strategy. It's it's truly just assemble a team of all stars that you
14:22enjoy.
14:25Gird league mage draft was today. The video should be out uh late this week.
14:35So team 11's cooking. Lamb Seaquan Lad Garrett Raandre Odun. Yeah, that's a that's a solid squad.
14:44Uh I like Terren Ferguson. His price is getting to a spot where I'm having trouble drafting him. He's also really tricky cuz in like a normal 12man
14:52league, depending on the size of your bench, um he's really tough to to justify drafting.
15:03Like I'll tell you Terence Ferguson went undrafted in Yuri League mates today because there's just not enough bench spots to to hold a second like breakout,
15:13you know, like squint and sort of is a breakout tight end. Uh he's more of like a baseball play or the leagues I do that
15:19are super deep that are like 20 rounds or whatever, then you can take Terrence Ferguson. But he's a tough one because
15:25in your normal 12man ESPN league or Sleeper League, he's just probably not worth a roster spot as as fun as Terren
15:33Ferguson, the idea is. Uh when I'm trying to think of like the best tight end that's like probably
15:43I don't know, it depends on the size of your bench, but I like him as a breakout candidate.
15:55I saw that Dvonte getting some big uh some big buzz today. Anytime someone asks for thoughts or best strategy, just flash a draft guide QR code.
16:06My favorite starts. Yeah, appreciate it.
16:07P Harvey RB2.
16:13Why Warren over Dow? Uh I mean I think it's close. It just comes down to in that spot was a little bit of ADP
16:23where it's like, okay, this is just where Jaylen Warren goes. I'll get plenty of Rico Dattle in this other range. And then also Jaylen Warren
16:28catching passes. I do think that he just has a a really good marriage of skill set between being an explosive and
16:34efficient runner. And then Aaron Rogers having the fastest time to throw in the NFL with the lowest average depth of target, meaning like he's just trying to
16:43get the rock out quick and underneath.
16:45Uh, it's how you end up with 70 catches for Gainwell last year. So, I like that setup for him.
16:53Let's see. It wants us to take a tight end, huh? Let's not do Pitts. We're going to do Fannon.
17:01We'll do Fannon and see who comes back.
17:04I I probably could have pushed tight end knowing this guy had glevel. So, that that was pretty dumb on my end.
17:14How happy are you about your team and your elitemates? Uh, pretty happy. I'd probably give the team like an A minus.
17:19Superflex is just really tricky. You you end up uh there was one spot in the draft uh that I'll talk about eventually
17:25where it's just like you just you get forced into making really tough decisions is what it comes down to. You can't have your cake and
17:34eat it too. In most scenarios, it's either uh you take a player you really like, but then you have to wait on
17:40quarterback and you end up and you look down and it's like, "Holy [ __ ] is CJ Stout about to be my QB2?"
17:48Or do you take your medicine and take the quarterback, but you pass on a player that would look awesome in your
17:54flex spot? you know, uh it's it's really tough, but I ended up liking I ended up liking
18:05my draft. I mean, we did the the practice last night. Um I think we played the board well. It's just like
18:11it's tough to build a super team in that format is what I would say.
18:18You unloading the clip. 12 team league.
18:20I think someone just dropped waverwire dart to the waiverwire in a um what would I pay for dart in a in a one
18:29quarterback league where I punted quarterback? Honestly, my gut says like 30% fab something like that.
18:39Bucky over Williams in your fifth round.
18:41H who's Williams? Oh, J Mo. Oh, you wanted me to take J Mo here. Uh, I suppose it's just a matter of like
18:52Warren comes back and I I was talking about this uh yesterday's stream and then also on the rankings video today where my philosophy in drafts right now
19:01is just like there's something unique about this year where the seventh round and later receivers just don't really feel that great to me and I almost want
19:09to make sure I have receivers who the flex at at least to me there's kind of like a not a cliff
19:16but after like Devonte here Evans is banged up I O Dun as well. Mini tier break to Marv Brian Thomas Tate and then
19:23honestly a pretty big tear break like this to this to me is like the first wide receiver Cliff to 612 Jaden Reed is
19:29gross. 704 Josh Downs and a half PPR is gross. Uh Quentyn Johnson kind of gross DK Mechave gross. Then you have rookies
19:36that you can't really depend on like Mai Lemon uh like Sutton Pierce Michael Wilson. I'm I'm just kind of out on a
19:41lot of these guys. Godwin's okay but just doesn't feel sexy.
19:46These are all guys I prefer off the bench and not in my flex spot is I guess what I'm saying. So, I don't know. I
19:52prefer J Mo and Warren over like Bucky Irving, Jaden Reed by a lot.
19:57Also, I know I know Bill is banged up, but I am fine taking a swing on him at this price in baseball.
20:05Oh, yeah. I'm the uh I'm the two spot.
20:07We started this draft. Bjan, Nico Collins, Malik Neighbors, Tedo McMillan, Jameson Williams, Jaylen Warren, Jaden Daniels, Harold Fannon, and Bill Crosky.
20:14Meritt, of course, this is a draft over on Underdog. Make sure you check it out.
20:20I have a link in the description comment section and pinned in the live chat right now. We are drafting on Underdog
20:26all summer long.
20:28When you use promo code Ron and you play $5, you get $50 to play with on the site. So, you can draft with us. I think
20:33that they just dropped the puppy, which is a really big deal. $5 to enter, which is awesome. with $100,000 to first
20:39place. Really, really awesome format that if I wasn't behind on my BBMs, I would be playing myself.
20:47Do I like it better than the mock last night? I think I do.
20:53I think I do.
20:57Whoever got Malik Willis and Yilm is winning the league.
21:02We'll see. All right, we're about to be up. Let's lock in for a second here. one time. Can we lock in?
21:12I hate the options on the board right now.
21:20No, we're going to take Manunga. Manunga is like, this is him falling here. This is where I have him ranked even with the
21:25injury. And he has a week 17 matchup against our Detroit Jameson Williams here. We've now like fully caught up at running back. We can kind of do whatever
21:34we want here. Jordan Love and Shuck go off the board. Damn, he just kind of wiped me there.
21:40Wow, that's not fun. All right, so we're going to push that one more round. Let's do the Wandale thing.
21:49That's fine by me. I don't take a lot of Wandale, but I'm starting to, you know, if he's going to fall 10 picks past ADP,
21:55this is fine. So, this team is fire. I think you guys are going to hate that term. I I will say in hindsight, I wish
22:00I just took one of these quarterbacks. I didn't think that he was going to double tap there.
22:05But we can make this a a three quarterback team with like two shitty guys after Daniels.
22:26Yeah. No, Bill is super exciting. Uh, it's just a bummer that he's like banged up with something right now, but like so
22:33is Rashad White, so I don't know what's going on.
22:36UD Superflex. Uh, yeah, I'm just not a Superflex guy. I I really only I only kind of do Superflex and Dynasty is
22:44amazing. Like that's obviously the way to play. Uh, in reddraft, I'm not as big of a fan, but I uh put up with it for
22:50the BDG guys because I enjoy being in League. It's a very fun thing to be a part of, but it's definitely not my
22:55preferred format is what I would say.
23:10are you out on Jaden Reed? No, I like Jaden Reed. Uh it's just like 612 Jayen Reed. When was he start getting to Jaden
23:16Reed and Josh Downs, right? Guys that have downside risk of like being part-time receivers, and I just have them as a as a pretty clear tier break
23:24from these guys. Um, but on sites that aren't UD where uh Jaden Reed, you know, is more of like a eighth, ninth round
23:31pick, I think that he's great there.
23:36Uh, no. Burden and Lovelin don't scare me.
23:42You want Gives London Adrian Manki?
23:44Yeah, I mean that's sweet.
23:52That's what I'm thinking, Conway. That's what we're kind of setting up on the back end here.
24:00Any reason beyond sealing projections?
24:02Now, this is a damn good question, brother. That's a damn good question.
24:08Any reason beyond sealing projections for having burden over JO? I think the reason would be this. It's just simply because it's a good question where I
24:16think Jameson Williams is like one of the more underrated players in drafts. I think that he's someone we're going to end up with. Like I don't know that I've
24:22stamped my mark on Jameson Williams is like this is my guy or someone I really like. But I'm sure you guys have seen
24:27from like the high stakes drafts I've done and like this draft. I'm going to have a lot of Jameson Williams. I think
24:32that that might be a video we do here uh in the next few days of looking at my uh manage league so far and talking through
24:40the players that I've drafted the most of. Uh like essentially the players I'm betting everything on type video but with real stakes. Uh let's go CJ Strad.
24:54And then our next pick is 167. Huh.
25:14Could take a receiver here.
25:17Washington, Houston, Jaguars, Green Bay.
25:23Let's take Let's take O Conquo. Oh, Conquo is a guy that I keep moving up.
25:31Let's take O Conquo here and we'll figure out something later for our QB3. Honestly, Okonquo and Fannon might be enough at tight end. What do
25:39you guys think on that? Uh yeah, this is the uh solver overlay. You can use promo code Ron and you get 20% off the solver,
25:46which is a cool overlay that just kind of highlights players for stacks and all that nerdy stuff. Uh, how would you
25:55draft a half PPR?
25:57Three wide receiver, two flex from the 102. Uh, I take I take I probably take Bejon and then I just hammer like hammer
26:08wide receiver. Um, like I said, it's another one of those leagues where if you get in any league that's full PPR,
26:15three wide receiver, full PPR, uh, I would look up, I actually have it on the website or, uh, the draft guide, the,
26:23uh, NFC ADP, like I would go to the ADP edge tool. I would check out how the high stakes is valuing things. Uh, cuz I
26:29think that that's actually a really good gauge of how you should be valuing running back versus receiver. Uh, like I'll be honest, I was actually I was
26:34looking I was glancing at that today because Yuri League is three wide receiver one flex. I had the NFC uh ADP
26:42pulled up just to kind of see cuz they're very interesting with kind of like their running back versus wide receiver value. Like I'll pull it up right now.
26:52They're probably the most wide receiver slanted uh format just because of the three wide receivers. But I think that that's where it makes sense to look at
27:02in a league that's like that where it's like three wide receiver two flex, three wide receiver one flex and things slant
27:07so much towards the receivers in that format. Let me pull this up real quick.
27:16Just a little bit of multitasking.
27:21So, look at online championship drafts, which is with the 350s we do uh since Saturday the 22nd.
27:28Uh, and I think that I think that this looks horrendous, whoever decided to do this.
27:33But, uh, like you can see like essentially after the the round two running backs we talked about like needing to sprint towards, right? Like
27:40Saquon, Derrick Henry, and then like Genty, then it's third round reversal and you don't get another running back like Jeremiah Love comes off the board
27:47after Tet, T, Ibuka, whatever. Uh you can go down here to like uh Scatabo here where Scatabo is going uh after Roma
27:55Dunes, Devonte Adams, Parker, Jameson Williams, Mccclure and Christian Watson.
27:59It's just a good gauge of how you should kind of value things. Even the tight end valuations uh because in that league
28:05when you have three wide receivers and two flex, those get devalued there. Uh so NFC ADP is really good to glance at
28:10when it comes to a format like that.
28:14Did I update the guide today? Yes, sir.
28:16Yes, sir. Of course, anyone out there that has a fantasy football draft coming up, uh I have the NFC ADP updating on
28:22the ADP edge tool as well. Uh that pretty much takes into account that entire, you know, that entire thing that I was
28:29just showing. It's on the site. You can compare that to my rankings. You can compare it to whatever uh platform you're drafting on. All of that good
28:35stuff and more. The basementdraftguide.com. Check it out in the description and the comment section below. Let's go Bryce Young here. I'm
28:43not stoked. I don't know why I said it like I'm stoked to take him because I'm not. But, uh, he makes sense in terms of
28:47a stack. Uh, and now we can kind of do whatever we want. I think this is going to be like a five running back team. I
28:54don't know. I'm not married to anything just yet.
28:58I'll be honest. I'm definitely cooling off on the Travis Hunter experience right now. But in baseball, it's like you can't really go wrong, you know?
29:07You can't really go wrong in baseball when it comes to Travis Hunter.
29:14Ah, [ __ ] We're going to do it. We're going to do it. I know that he's essentially playing or actually no,
29:18we're actually going to keep spamming Omar Cooper. Omar Cooper got a nice little bump today. Uh he seems like he's really kind of finding his own. I think
29:26we're talking about a first round pick in the NFL draft. Omar Cooper is not my cup of tea. Um but we're talking about a first round I
29:36I keep saying this, but I will say it's not like I have a billion. Like look, I'm not really even drafting Omar
29:41Cooper. Uh yeah, I'm fine. Like 5.2%. I'm fine now that he's falling and everyone's like, "Oh [ __ ] Isaiah Williams is playing
29:49over him." I'm fine to just start really hammering him here down the stretch and just hope that especially in a best ball
29:54that he just maybe flashes a little bit down the stretch as we see rookies do.
29:59Um but I understand not being super enthused about Omar Cooper, but I just took him what after Cyrus Allen and Jacobe Lane. Like to me that's a
30:10fine that's a fine range for Omar Cooper to go.
30:15Yeah. No, you're right. You're right.
30:16It's just like he's playing a lot of corner. And it seems like and the thesis beforehand was okay. Well, he's going to
30:22play a lot of corner, but if any one of Jacobe Meyers, Brian Thomas, or Parker Washington get hurt, then he's going to
30:28come in and play wide receiver. Well, it seems like now he's really just more of a direct handcuff to Brian Thomas. It
30:34seems like there only teaching him the ex-wide receiver position in the offense. So, with Jacobe Myers hurt, it's not more Travis Hunter, it's going
30:41to be more 12 personnel. Uh, which is tough. But in a baseball, when you're talking Travis Hunter and especially here when uh he had a week 17 matchup
30:51for me, right? So, the Jayen Daniels uh thing with Washington, there's a chance like, you know, why can't I can't get this out of my head,
31:00but like why can't how crazy would it be if Travis Hunter was the highest scoring Jaguars wide receiver in the fantasy
31:06football playoffs?
31:10always watch lives after they're done.
31:12Glad to catch one. I appreciate it, man.
31:14Appreciate it. Everyone is banged up, dude. It's crazy, bro. We were drafting today for Elmates and it was like everybody's phone was popping off of
31:24like, you know, the guy who took Jamar Chase, Jamar Chase hyperextends his uh knee or whatever.
31:34Do you believe in too fragile of a team?
31:35No.
31:38Don't plan for them to get hurt when drafting. Yeah. No, I I I mean, you guys know I draft pretty aggressively. I'm
31:44never really going for floor. I'm never really shying away from injury and stuff. I'd rather shoot for the moon.
31:53Uh but I do understand. I mean, I guess like you can you can pair some floor and ceiling and there's certainly situations
32:01out there where I'll do that, right?
32:02Like if I take like an RJ Harvey uh as like an upside swing at running back, my I I might be more inclined to take like
32:08an Aaron Jones later on, like a more boring pick like that, but I don't really uh subscribe to the idea of like,
32:14oh, inside the top six rounds, like go for floor or whatever, go for floor in the first round. It's just uh certain
32:21point you got to win your league. You know, we talked about in the overall strategy video earlier this summer of there's only
32:29there's only 15 to like 20 players that really matter in terms of wins above replacement and everyone else is just kind of
32:38replaceable. Uh and my my philosophy really is just like trying to hunt those guys out. Uh why did Ron wait so long
32:45for his RB2? I am definitely really coming around on the idea of a hero RB strategy this year where uh I'm going to
32:52try and hit big on the RB1. I'm going to catch up everywhere else and then I will just play the quantity game at RB2. I
33:00think one of the more uh this is just like old school dead zone RB stuff and the dead zone is back this year as we've
33:07been talking about. Uh, it's just like this false sense of security taking an RB2 in the middle round just to have an
33:15RB2, you know.
33:19Let's go Jaylen Null.
33:27Let's go Jaylen Null.
33:41But yeah, I we just actually just posted the Hero RB video over the weekend. Um and there were a lot of um
33:50big-time winners when it came to baseball mania main event like high stakes fantasy football leagues. a lot of guys even last year when there were
33:58so many 20 plus point per game running backs and it seemed like oh it was the year of double hero RB which certainly
34:03you know viable strategy but so was hero RB in a big way uh just a strategy that's kind of just withtood the test of
34:11time to be honest we'll take Brilin there and now I'm thinking through this is the positional allocation stuff I guess you
34:21could talk me into another running back like five running backs even though we have bees on five running backs in a
34:25hero RB build feels a little bit light.
34:27I think I lean going 3672 here. I feel fine at receiver. It just comes down to if I want to take a third tight end next
34:34to Fannon and Okonquo or uh a six running back with Bejon through Brillin.
34:46Man, you're saying Mastiff next? I mean, I I wish that the big dog was still out.
34:49I'd be down to do a high stakes uh underdog draft. They're just hard to coordinate. And I'm also behind on BBMs
34:55right now. Uh I will say leave a like on this stream. Subscribe if you're new. Uh we'll run up one more. We'll hit up a a
35:01BBM right now. Uh why not let it fly.
35:07Wow. 11 people we're waiting for. Anyone out there that wants to play in a baseball mania with me, now is your
35:13time. Uh this is going to be essentially only people in this live stream. We are going to wait for 10 more people here.
35:20Uh, so hop on underdog, of course, as you guys know. Make sure you check it out. Promo code Ron. When you play $5,
35:28you get $50 on the site, on the dog app.
35:32I have it all in the description, comment section, and the live chat. Uh, wow. Okay, we got that filled up right
35:40away. And you guys know the deal. If you're in this draft with me, you got to tell me where you're drafting from. I
35:46got to know where you're drafting from.
35:47if you're in this draft with us.
35:53Yeah. No, puppy I will say puppies are the move, man. Puppies are the move. Any of you guys out here uh that are looking
35:58to hop on underdog, when puppies are live, that's the best time to hop on underdog, dude. Five $5 with an upside
36:04chance to hit uh 100,000 is awesome. Uh it's a great way to get some practice in for your league as well. Just hop in a
36:12draft, see where players are going with money on the line this time of year.
36:16It's perfect.
36:25Here we go. We got Brandon Samuels in here. We got Costco Matt. Costco Matt is an awesome is an awesome username.
36:35Costco Matt.
36:38Uh, you just got to join. You just got to click the Ball Mania lobby at the like around the same time I do. But when
36:43it happens like that and it's like there's 11 spots open, you just got to get in there.
36:49There any substantial differences in the guide between yesterday and today?
36:53Probably not, but I'm going to use that question to show off the change log. And I'll see we'll see the change
37:00log if there's anything that that uh I changed in a big way. I don't think so because I did all my tweaking yesterday.
37:22Oh, yeah. I made I made I made four moves today before I went live when I uh updated the the uh rankings. Let's do
37:33let's do JSN. I could use some more JSN.
37:42Yeah, everyone's telling me I'm up. I'm I'm chilling. I'm chilling. We're We're We're bouncing around between some things here. Uh we could take a tight
37:48end here. I don't really want to, though. I think I probably prefer a running back.
37:55Let's do Let's do probably six probably six
38:05running backs on this team.
38:08Let's do McGowan.
38:13I'm really coming around on McGowan as a late round dart throw. All right, so that is the final team. Uh you can see
38:17here we go. Jaden Daniels, CJ Strad, Bryce Young, Bejon, Jaylen Warren, Bill Manungi, Brilan Allen, Seth McGawan, uh Nico Collins, Malik Neighbors, Tedro
38:26McMillan, Jameson Williams, Juanelle, Omar Cooper, Jaylen Null, and then Harold Fannon, and Chig Okonquo.
38:33Solid team. Solid team. Well done from everybody. Oh yeah. Uh you were saying any substantial differences? Here's the draft guide, of course, the
38:43basementdraftguide.com.
38:44Uh you can see that we have a change log where every every day when I make changes. So I moved before I went live
38:49here, I moved down Sadique 22 spots. I moved Booty up 19. I took off Tank Dell.
38:54He just doesn't seem like he's ready. I had Bryce Young or I had Bryce Lance in the rankings for a little bit there. Uh
38:59not anymore. It seems like like Barry and Brown is in the mix to be the rookie receiver for the Saints that does
39:03something. But uh I'm I'm just all good.
39:08So that's where we're at. Make sure you check out the basement draft. I'm telling you, if you have a draft coming
39:11up, um it is my baby. It is something I'm working on every day. Like tomorrow morning, I'm literally going to before I
39:15do any other work. Uh I'm going to tweak some of the rankings for a little bit.
39:20See how ADP is going. Um all of that.
39:24Trying to make sure everything is as dialed in as possible.
39:27We got Gabe Ba in here. been sub since 22 and referred the draft guide to a few people new to fantasy. Hell yeah, dude.
39:32Hell yeah. Thank you, man. Thank you, man. I'm I'm uh I'm very happy right now with how how the draft guide looks, how
39:37it feels, how you guys are taking uh it all in. And then, as you guys know, like anytime uh you guys hit me with like a
39:44oh, it'd be better if if this was shown or or uh this or I'm having trouble with this, I I've been trying to make things
39:51as as good a as good on the fly as I can. I don't know why I can't speak, but damn. We got
40:00We get locked out at running back here.
40:04I could have taken I I debated taking JT over JSN in this spot. I just couldn't do it.
40:12But looking back on it, I probably should have I should have gone this this could have been JT uh JT AJ Brown
40:18instead of JSN Bowers. But this could be fun. This could be fun. Now, uh, we talk about, you know, shying away from the
40:26dead zone. We're going to probably take a few plunges in the dead zone here.
40:33How did your lead mates go, YM? Uh, it went good. Went good.
40:38No, the draft cut doesn't sync to underdog. Underdog. Uh, my underdog rankings are a CSV on the Patreon.
40:45Third pick, you be bjan, Dererick Henry, Brock Bowers. Yeah, I mean, that's that's sweet.
40:52got the guide yesterday. My my wife got to use it before me with her work draft today. Hell yeah, dude. I love that. Uh
40:57I have a buddy as well who's who's using my draft guide for uh his girlfriend's um but he's a he's a lesser man than
41:06you, Aceman. He is he is drafting. He's going to be like her shadow. You know what I'm saying?
41:13she's, you know, going to be the the the front-facing uh like Wizard of Oz of her team, but on the back end it's going to
41:20be my buddy using my draft guide and weekly rankings to uh manage the team every week. So, uh that's all that's a
41:27hilarious dynamic. Uh I I know as well like Gut, I was talking with him today.
41:30Uh he was saying like he was drafting for his girlfriend in their fantasy football league, which is hilarious.
41:36I love that [ __ ] where it's like just like 11 people that are just trying to play for fun like have no clue what the
41:42they're doing and you just hop in there like all right we're just going to draft an awesome team and kill everybody.
41:50We're going to go Jeremiah Love.
41:57Yeah. No, that Henry was the play there.
41:58Henry was the play there. But I'm I'm fine with um I'm fine with getting weird, man.
42:29Do your UD rankings update when you update the rankings? Uh, I do it manually, but you can see um you can see
42:40uh when I've last updated it. So, every time that I go in and manually update the rankings on uh the underdog side of
42:45things, like today, I just updated it and then I uh edited the title so it says like August 25th. So, that's the
42:51way you can tell if it look at the title, see what date it says up there, and then you know it's in the last day
42:57or so. It's pretty up to date.
43:01JT 109 and HappyB is awesome.
43:05A week one TD parlay. No, not yet. Not yet. We're not even We're not there yet.
43:09We're not there yet. And I I will say I am glad uh I I haven't gotten any week one start sit questions yet which please
43:17don't give me any. Don't jinx it. Um we're not quite there yet.
43:26Your mid mo. Yeah, I should have taken JT.
43:33He is a ghost manager. You said uh two wide receiver, two flex, Lamar Cook, Bree Lamb Flowers, likely Parker Washington, Godwin. Yeah, I mean
43:42that's going to play. Getting Bree as your RB2 and then still having Parker Washington in your flex spot is is just
43:48chef's kiss.
43:51It's money league and it was half people who know ball, half people who don't.
43:53Her team got kind of nice. You got Chase at the 105. Woo! Kelsey at the 102. I mean, that's that's just why we play the
43:59game. Kelsey at the 102 is why we play the game.
44:10All right, now we take now you know we we we gamble the big bucks on Josh Jacobs here. This is pretty sweet. I'm
44:16actually kind of stoked with this start.
44:18Jeremiah Love Josh Jacobs as our RB1 and two and we have Bowowers and JSN. Uh pretty sweet. Pretty sweet.
44:32I will be honest, I think this is the first time this summer where the AC is pumping a little bit too high
44:38and we're having the opposite of stadium pulse where I'm like getting chilly.
44:43Tell me this isn't a pretty sweet start.
44:45If I'm not if you're not going to take a running back in the first two rounds, I feel like this is about as good as it
44:49gets. Um, we have my brother that I'm begging to make a burner.
44:58Is there any correlation to how early someone drafts before the season and if they have a better chance to win BBM?
45:03Um, there's definitely been studies on it, but I think it's all kind of come out in the wash because if you draft early, you
45:12get some crazy values like Parker Washington was like an eighth round pick uh back in June, but then also we have
45:19all the most up-to-date information right now uh like here like right now through uh like week one. So, it kind of
45:27cancels each other out. I think if you were to look at all of the Baseball Wall Mania winners in terms of when they were
45:32drafted, I think it would be fairly spread out. Um, but I'm also kind of talking about out of my ass there.
45:40But, everyone is kind of up in arms uh because of the Ashton Genty thing. Not up in arms, but it would suck if the
45:47winner just simply drafted Ashton Genty in like the eighth round when we all thought he tore his ACL for like three
45:54hours. you know, a lot of that going on where uh there was like a, you know, 4hour window where everybody got crazy prices on Ash and Genty and
46:08then that door shut. So, we'll see what happens.
46:15All right, let's see what comes back.
46:19103 is hell this year. We got EG3 in the chat. What's going on, brother? What's going on? EG3 is an OG of the channel,
46:25bro. EG3 been around since EG3 been around since I was delivering pizzas, bro.
46:34That's a OG.
46:37I'll be honest, every now and then I kind of miss delivering pizzas.
46:42It's a good gig. I mean, it's a it's kind of a dangerous gig to be honest.
46:45Like I've I feel like you're really tempting fate uh with like a car accident, just being on the road more, but
46:53getting paid to legitimately just drive around listening to music and podcasts, getting cash tips, it's nice. I I will say anyone out there
47:03deliver pizzas, I wonder I wonder if like Door Dash kind of [ __ ] up like uh the local market for that, but
47:12I'm not sure.
47:15Jonathan Brooks going at like 140. Yeah, exactly. Jonathan Brooks. Jonathan Brooks. Parker Washington. Like in terms of big big risers.
47:22Trying to think of what else.
47:26Cards versus Raiders. Week 17 is going to be a pivotal game in the best of all.
47:29Wow. I didn't even think of that. But yeah, Jeremiah Love versus Brock Bowers here is pretty sweet.
47:35I honestly agree. I I I would say it all just kind of comes out in the wash to be honest.
47:42Wow. You're a dog for having these.
47:43August 20th, June 16th, July 18th, August 28th, June 19th, and June 1st for the BBM.
47:51Yeah. So, I'd say that's all over the map.
47:54Uh, Genty for me is a mid-3, but I get it.
47:59You don't understand why Price is not above Jacobs. It's his job. Good offense. Um, I think it's lack of pass catching upside and then also what
48:06happens when Charbanet gets on the field. But I'm with you that I continue to inch Jadarian price up and I and I
48:11want to be ahead of the market on him, which we have been. We have him on a lot of teams, but I think I need to even get
48:17more aggressive.
48:30Yo yo, chill.
48:35It's a great job, dude. And I'm also I I mean it makes sense as me, someone that's a a business owner that works for
48:44myself. Like the concept of like being rewarded for being able to do as many deliveries as possible was something that I really
48:55liked. You know what I mean? Like it's not a flat salary. It's essentially like, you know, if you can somehow get
49:0240 deliveries in a 6-hour stretch, like you're going to cash out.
49:09It's like a real incentivized uh sort of idea. All right, let's go Trevian. I know that he's like banged up right now,
49:14but I'm not super concerned. Seemed like he was walking around and it was precautionary. Uh so I'll take the the slide on Trevon.
49:26Stribbling's been a guy who's gone up crazy. You're right about where do you draw the line to click a third head
49:29Denver endorse staying with two. It's always so tricky with underdog. It's honestly why it's it's part of why I like this thing. I mean this isn't
49:36perfect. You know this is uh because this is so high already and like the ideal draft capital allocation because I took Bowowers I'm going to take two
49:43obviously.
49:45Uh I would say the last tight ends I'm comfortable only taking two with is like Harold Fannon area. Like if I could do
49:51last draft we did Harold Fannon and Okonquo that's about as thin as I'll go.
49:57I'll do like Coulson Lovelin and Joan Johnson, you know.
50:11Hey, a lot of lot of pizza delivery guys in here.
50:16I agree. I think he will catch passes. I just wonder when Charbanet comes in, does Charbonet I think that Charban is
50:22going to really limit some things. But I don't know. I mean, I've been I've been ahead of consensus on price the entire
50:27summer, but people are are definitely catching up cuz now you're not now he was at a spot where he was kind of like a tier behind
50:35and he still is like a mini tier behind like Montgomery, Bucky, Scatterabau, Judkins, Tutin, but once you have to start taking him over, you know, your
50:42Judkins and your David M. I mean, I haven't had a Montgomery. Judkins is tough. Judkins is a guy that I don't
50:48even really like, but he his floor projection is so high that it's it's really tough for me to put price ahead.
50:57Like Judkins, you can pencil in for 12 points per game. Uh price a little bit more shaky than that, but of course the
51:02upside is there.
51:04The thing wants to take Sutton. We're not taking Sutton, bro. Sutton or downs it wants. Let's do Godwin.
51:12Let's do Godwin. I'm coming around on Godwin as well. He's not bad.
51:17We should probably be thinking about quarterback here soon.
51:32Domino's vet.
51:36I don't mind Omar Cooper, man. Taking Bowers over AJ Brown, Nico Neighbors in a uh No. In a three-y receiver for two
51:42flex. No. Three Y for two flex. I'm I'm devaluing. Uh, I I guess yeah, I can't do it in a three wide two
51:51flex, especially in a home league that's that that's that deep. Like, I'm gonna assume that your bench isn't super deep.
51:58So, it just gets really tough.
52:01You receive JMO and he receives Evan straight up. Oh yeah, dude. Oh my god.
52:04Give me Give me J Mo over Evan straight up all day.
52:13Yeah, I agree. the uh you know it's like the incentivized work of just like you know you can hustle super hard and get
52:19paid out for it is what I love.
52:24Super chat here from Braden Cowan Pickkins round six or Burden round 13. I will say don't tell anybody
52:35and this is why the draft guide is so exciting for me because I'm telling you like this is this is version 1.0. I
52:42already have a ton of ideas for what I want to do for 2027. Like there's only so much I can keep, you know, we can I
52:47can get my designer and we can do little tiny things and, you know, we can make this and that. But I think something
52:51that would be cool is if I could come up with a formula that takes my rankings uh and comes up with like keeper values
52:58where you know, you could you could input, okay, pickins round six, bird in round 13. It look at my rankings and it
53:02would give you okay uh this is the better value. Um instead of like me just kind of like doing off the top of my
53:08head. But off the top of my head with this one, I'm probably birding round 13. But that one's so that one's so tough.
53:21I lean bird in round 13. But that one's a real toss up.
53:40Let's do Let's do Josh Downs here.
53:45Let me think about this super chat one more time.
53:52Let me think about this one more time.
53:54Pickins round six because it's so tough.
53:57It's like, okay, Pickkins is like a 15 point per game receiver, two three turn.
54:02Burden more of like a round five pick, but super high upside. You're getting him like round 13 is free. Round six is
54:08still real investment. I lean Burden, but I think that that one's a true toss up, man. I that one's a true tossup.
54:16You're worried about God when he looked so brutal last year on tape. I just wonder one one more year of him getting
54:21healthy. Like I feel like he was coming off a pretty severe injury.
54:25I'm open to the bounce back, but I I get the hesitation.
54:29I will say he is getting old.
54:40Yeah, I've gotten some questions about the BDG draft. I feel good, man. I feel good.
54:45What's up, Evan Walters? That's a name.
54:47That's a name I know. Been too busy with grad school. Really helpful being able to catch up with your content. Hell
54:51yeah, dude. I love to hear that.
54:54Golden and Shribbling for Parker Washington. Oh yeah, dude. Oh yeah.
54:59Yeah, it'd be like some kind of like surplus feature. I would have to like really think about how the formula would
55:05come up in terms of like valuing the average, you know, in theory the average round seven pick versus Lovelin and the
55:12average 10th round pick versus Burden and kind of coming up with a like a surplus value. Um but yeah, a lot a lot of things a lot of
55:21things in the works. I'm very excited.
55:22It's been very cool. Um, this has been something that has needed to happen for a while. Me having like a a real product
55:29that I can have my hands on and not just a Google sheet. Uh, let's do let's do Mahomes, I guess.
55:42But yeah, I'll give a shameless plug.
55:43I'm telling you guys, if you have a draft coming up, I know it's draft season. the basement draft guide. Don't I was going to say you won't I was going
55:50to say don't check it out, but don't um don't go into a draft unprepared. Check out the basement draft guide. The
55:55basement draftgu.com uh has full PPR, half PPR, Superflex rankings. I used it today. I used it in the Superflex draft for Y leaguemates.
56:05Uh and because it was on Sleeper, I just copied the Sleeper link, threw it in there, was crossing all players as I
56:10went, uh as my targets, fades, player notes, all that and more. The basementdraftguide.com.
56:15Uh, it is an absolute beauty.
56:26Easy Burden. I think you're right.
56:28I don't know about Easy Burden. It's just like cuz look, I love Burden myself, but he is certainly more of like
56:34a breakout candidate where George Pickkins comes in and right away is a fringe top 12 wide receiver. You know, auction price is not a bad idea. Can we
56:44get a Ron Stewart Super Bowl prediction?
56:45Man, actually, it's funny. Uh, when I went out with my buddies, uh, that was not last Friday, but the Friday before
56:51that when I did like one draft and I hopped out of here, um, my buddies whose, uh, birthday it was, his
56:59girlfriend was like asking me that and I was like, I don't really get I don't really get paid to predict Super Bowl
57:04like that. Like, I'm I'm more so paid to predict like who's going to have a lot of yards and touchdowns, you know?
57:11But, I don't know. I don't I I I don't I haven't even really thought about how I view the landscape of the NFL from a
57:17real football perspective, if that makes sense. Um, but I guess what the favorite would be like I would assume the odds on favorite for
57:26matchup in the Super Bowl. Uh, we're going to take Stafford and stack him up to Devonte, by the way. Uh, but I would
57:32assume the odds on favorite to meet would probably be Bill's Rams would be my guess. Is that or maybe Ravens Rams? That'd be my guess. Just
57:43like from shooting from the hip.
57:52Yeah, I'll say Ravens Rams, but I'd assume that that's like the odds on favorite.
57:58Gibbs for Hampton and Scatabo. I mean, that's beautiful.
58:02How do I fix this devy team? And do you want Bucky Irving from it, dude? Devi teams are really tough to fix. I'll tell
58:08you that.
58:10I don't know. I don't know. I I feel bad, but this time of year, dude, like I I just don't even My Dynasty team is a
58:17figment of my imagination until we get to week one.
58:23But I have Watson over PE Wash.
58:26Um I think they're both similar projections, but I just feel better about Christian Watson. We've seen him I mean I guess you could say I was going
58:35to say we've seen him do it for for bigger stretches but um I don't know it's really tough and it's why I say tears over rankings. Uh but it
58:46really just is like Christian Watson projects better. I'm really excited to see what he can be as a full-time rout uh participant. I think the stat is it's
58:54a Ryan Heath stat. I want to say that the games that he's ran 75% or more of the routes it's like a it's like a
58:59tennis game sample. He's at like 17.5 points per game. I feel like if he's healthy, uh, he outscores Parker Washington in like most scenarios would
59:06be my uh, case. And then I'm also really into the idea that if Matthew Golden plays X and is more of like a a clear
59:14out X, right? Uh, then they can kind of unlock Christian Watson in a similar way to Jameson Williams. But imagine Jameson
59:20Williams without being blocked by Aman Ross saying Brown. When I say Jameson Williams, I mean uh JMO was this like crazy clear out, you know, 15 plus yard
59:30A dot receiver early in his career. And then the last two years, they've lowered that AOT to like 12 yards, meaning that
59:36yes, he's going to run some clear out stuff, but he's going to do some things horizontally over the middle. He's going
59:40to get some screen stuff. He's going to do uh you know, some drags and some like more fun, easy button stuff. And we
59:46could see that for Christian Watson without the, you know, Aman Rosane Brown uh 18 plus point per game seasons every year. That gets really interesting. And
59:55I'm really in on this this Packers offense through the air. I'm very excited about. I do think that they are primed to probably push for the most
60:03pass attempts from Jordan Love since his first year as a full-time starter.
60:09Yeah, I would love to know the the lineup. That's a that's a great question as well.
60:19Lamar vers Rams would be cinema. I like I do like the Ravens a lot this year. We need a second Liam Jacobs stream
60:26might be on the horizon.
60:31Football perspective. Yeah, th those are more of the guy like football perspective. Um I don't even know. I don't really even
60:40watch th those guys, but I I do know that there's um I mean, so you know, that's like what First Take and uh
60:47uh what the hell is the show? Get up in the morning with Mike Green or whatever.
60:51Like those guys are are debating every day who who the hell is going to win the Super Bowl. And it's funny, like I
60:56haven't thought for a second who's going to win the Super Bowl.
61:05Like I I just I just care about who's going to score points, you know?
61:10Uh, I guess, you know, let's take Kian Mitchell. Wants to take Keen Mitchell.
61:16We'll take Kian Mitchell then. I know he's a little bit banged up, but I'm fine with that. We got to make up ground
61:21the receiver here. This is going to be a part of the draft where we got to spam receiver a little bit. We got to spam
61:26receiver.
61:28Oh, this pick should have been Don Jones. Damn it. Damn.
61:35All right, we'll see what comes back.
61:38But that pick should have been DJ.
61:41The AFC team is a hu I think honestly it's all a huge tossup, dude. It's really tough.
61:49Uh just Christian Watson's going to run more um he's going to run more routes than Jaden Reed. Jaden Reed really Jaden
61:55Reed's biggest issue is is he going to be on the field in two wide receiver sets, but there's a chance that the
62:02Packers just run a lot of three wide receiver sets. So, it's not a big deal.
62:04You know, in shallow ESPLings, do you prop both McBride and Bowers up? Um, I would if it's like a two wide receiver, one flex.
62:13I I would I probably wouldn't put McBride over them.
62:18But yeah, so I was right. Baltimore Rams is the uh the odds on favorite.
62:26Sleeping on the Chiefs feels bad. But I will say it was crazy like last year, what a crazy what a crazy Super Bowl
62:31that was. Like if you asked me in this same spot last year, uh it would have taken me days to come up with a like, oh yeah,
62:41actually it's going to be the Seahawks over the Patriots.
62:50Yeah, last year the the Super Bowl was the NFC Championship. It's a good point.
62:58All right, now we're going to take DJ. That
63:11was the pick at the last at the last turn, but this is fine. Now, I think we're going to probably end up with like
63:16a three probably a 3672.
63:20The thing says is we're really weak at receiver though, which isn't great for like a zero RB style team. But maybe we stop at five running backs on
63:30this team. I'm not sure yet. We'll see.
63:32We'll see how this thing ends up.
63:34It's got to be Lamar's year to make a run. I like that. I don't mind [music] it.
63:45Uh yesterday we were drafting for the BDG league. Uh yesterday we did a superflex stream uh where we kind of did
63:51like a strategy hour on how I was preparing for the BDGE draft. Uh but today we're just hanging out with some
63:57underdog drafts. I I I still have like 30 or so so more BBMs. So I really got to get going on those.
64:05I really got to get going on these BBMs or else we're going to have to sit down one of these days and do like a damn,
64:14you know, 20 drafts in a row stream. But look, I'm I'm open to it.
64:50Yeah, I feel the need to max BBM. I do.
64:55It's not something I would recommend to you guys though. It's just like this is just what I do, you know? This is what I
65:00do. I hop on here. I draft teams. Um, and why not? I I should It's also like asymmetrical upside for my career. Uh
65:09one, like winning $2 million would be crazy. So, I think uh maxing it every year makes sense for me. But then also
65:15two, like being able to have that uh what would you call it? I don't know if I'd call it superlative. I'm like struggling to find
65:23the words for it. Um Cyrus Allen go.
65:26Yeah, he did. He did. Yeah. Um, it'd be a big credential to have in this space is what I would say.
65:39Jamar over Bjon feels like the right player take, but wrong structural take.
65:42Well, it's a little bit trickier now.
65:43Like, let's I'm not worried about the knee issue, but I I would feel a lot like Jamar to me was like so clean and
65:50now it's like there's a little bit of hairy stuff going on. But, uh, I do think in like three wide receiver one
65:57flex formats or three wide receiver two flex formats, like anything that really slants towards receivers, you could talk me into Chase over um,
66:07over Bejon.
66:09Even more so with how ugly this Falcons offense looks.
66:14But there is also a part of me of like I don't know, we haven't even played any games yet.
66:20Feather in your cap. Yeah, that's a good one.
66:24No, I I never hop in the eliminator.
66:29Is underdog legit though? The guy that won BBM last year was a literal employee of underdog. I don't think Sherm was
66:35ever a employee of underdog at any point.
66:39I'd say it is. It's legit.
66:462018 when the Rams faced the first year starter Mahomes.
66:51Yeah, I'm not going to look, I'm I'm not going to um I'm not going to budge on Chase. I I'm more so saying it's giving
66:58me some pause as it pertains to putting him over Bejon uh in certain formats. It was my take there. That's all I was
67:07trying to say.
67:11I guess we go Jawan. We go Jawan. We just keep hammering out ugly ugly receivers here.
67:17Accolades a good a good word.
67:21Sherm's a dog, man. People don't really realize that. Like the fact that he had two teams in the finals. He didn't even
67:27max it. I don't I He maybe drafted like less than a hundred teams in the BBM.
67:31Like he might have drafted like 60 or something and he had two in the finals.
67:34One wins 2 mill. Sherm's a beast.
67:42I will say I wonder like I'm always very curious like I I don't know them well enough like Sherman and Karine
67:51uh and I guess like even Liam but like that that is so [ __ ] nuts, bro. 57 teams, two to the finals, one wins 2
68:02mill. Um, I guess my point is like the sherm like the cherm like quit his job like is 2 mill I I know every I know like that the
68:13taxes thing sure taxes whatever but is that enough money to like [ __ ] off you know what I mean? It seems like probably
68:20not.
68:23But it also seems like he can put in a lot less effort at his job if he wanted to, you know. But it also seemed like he
68:30stepped away from fantasy football for a little bit in terms of like making content. He uh he didn't work for Underdog, but on the content channel
68:37with Josh and Hayden, he would do the uh waiver article or waiver video with them and then he kind of like stepped away.
68:47But it seems like I guess maybe the 2 mill opened things back up for him to to be in the space.
68:57Yeah, I think you guys are right. I'm I'm a dumbass. It It's certainly not It's certainly not enough to [ __ ] off.
69:06Uh let's do Brilin here, I think.
69:11Let's do Let's do Emma Johnson, actually.
69:18Will Sherm live in New York?
69:31bought a new house, man. Yeah, that's sweet.
69:34Yeah. No, you guys are you guys are right. It's it's I I guess it's less like, okay, I'm going to retire at 30
69:39money and it's more like I don't have to feel financial pressure
69:48or despair ever again.
69:52save some unforeseen tragedy, I suppose.
70:00No, I didn't move Jamar down. I have no plans to going part-time at Costco with 2 mil.
70:07That That's actually hilarious. Depends on the lifestyle. You're You're right. I I I would assume that like 2 mill and then after taxes in like a uh
70:18low tax like a low state tax southern state where you can get like a big ass house for like 200k but I don't think he was making 2
70:32million from career earning anytime soon he could technically retire. Yeah, I guess like technically, but I think it is just it's less like retire and it's
70:40more like it's it's more like living stress free into eternity is kind of what it comes down to.
70:49And then he could also probably retire a lot earlier, you know?
70:53That's what I would say. Like not retire right now, but you know, there's some people out there that aren't fortunate enough to retire.
71:03Let's do I'm doing a lot of yapping right now, man.
71:07Let's do Jaylen Null.
71:16Man, for a zero RB team, we are weak at receiver.
71:21JSN, Devonte, Godwin, Downs, McMillan. I think that we're going to go I think that we're going to cut this off at five
71:25running backs. What do you guys think?
71:26Running back or receiver here? We went 3572 so far. It just comes down to if we want to go 3672 or 3582. The thing says
71:35we're really weak at receiver, but also we didn't take a running back until Jeremiah Love. But I suppose if Josh Jacobs isn't suspended or anything like
71:43we probably feel decent about this running back room.
71:48What do you guys think?
71:55Well, the big W for Crarine is that he doesn't he didn't have to grind out for like NBC Roto World anymore. And
72:01because I think that he was one of the blurb guys for a while. I could be talking out of my ass. I could be
72:05talking out of my ass. I I I truly don't know, but I want to say that he like I want to say he was helping with the
72:10blurbs.
72:19Let's go McGowan. Let's go McGowan. And that's fine by me.
72:27But Karine I I like that Karine parlayed it into making it his his own fantasy site, you know? Um cuz Kane's been making content forever,
72:37but he was doing it at NBC and then Roto World. And I think that he was helping with like the That's such a grind. That
72:42is such a grind to like uh report on like you know uh Matthew Hibner like stubbing his
72:54toe in a on a random August uh like Tuesday morning, you know, and then typing that up on because people forget
73:01people forget before um before honestly before like Twitter became the the breaking news and all the aggregators and stuff. It was you would hop on Roto
73:11World and go to the injury news tab and scroll and see what the hell was going on. Um, but using the money to launch your own
73:20fantasy thing, I think was an awesome move from Crane. But Crane's to go. He's someone I I try and shout out as much as
73:24I like I, you know, I'm not sure anyone else mentions legendary RBs more than I do, and I try to give Crane his flowers
73:32every time I do because um, he's one of the goats, man. He's one of the goats.
73:40But, all right, that's our last draft tonight.
73:43We ended this thing out with a weird zer RB team. We go Mahome Stafford, Daniel Jones, Jeremiah Love, Josh Jacobs, Chevon Henderson,
73:54Kian Mitchell, Emma Johnson, Seth McGawan. We go JSN, Devonte Adams, Chris Godwin, Josh DS, Jaylen McMillan, Jawan Jennings, Jaylen Null, Brock Bowers,
74:04Travis Kelce. I feel pretty good about this team. This is a weird team, but you guys know me. I like doing some weird
74:09stuff and throwing a curveball in these BBMs here and there. Um, as always, if you want to draft with us all summer
74:16long, we will be streaming every night through week one, which is crazy this year because there's a late Labor Day.
74:22Usually, you know, you call me Mr.
74:23August. I am August. Yo, soy August. I am Look, don't [laughter] I am August. Don't make me don't make Mr. August come out. Um, but I was going
74:34to say just with the Labor Day thing, like we're going to be streaming for like more than a week in September. So,
74:39uh, lots of fun stuff happening.
74:41Underdog drafts, high stakes drafts. U I'm not sure what we're going to have on the docket for tomorrow, but I will say
74:46also watch today's video. I talked through my top 60 overall rankings, showed off the draft guide, all of that good stuff.
74:54I love y'all. Thank you for watching.
74:57Uh, and just a quick plug of, of course, Underdog. If you haven't already, hopped on underdog, play $5, you get $50 when
75:03you use promo code Ron. And then, of course, the basement draft guide. If you have a draft coming up, check that out
75:08as well. But that is going to be it for me and I'll see y'all in the next one.
