Alec Pierce

PositiveUsage0:12

Alec Pierce is likely to outtarget Josh Downs in the Colts offense.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:23

Pierce is dealing with a left ankle injury six weeks post-op and may not be ready for training camp, which is a significant concern despite his recent contract extension.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:24

Pierce is ranked as a boom-bust WR3 with 84 targets last year (47 catches, 103 yards, 6 TDs, WR23 in PPG); the analyst is skeptical he'll ever be a real target earner and compares his profile to Jameson Williams on the Colts.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveRole0:14

Brian Thomas is expected to be one of the outside receivers for the Jaguars alongside Parker Washington.

Insight page
PositiveInjury0:25

Thomas had minor procedures done (ankle, shoulder, wrist) and wasn't 100% healthy last year while learning a new playbook, suggesting his year-two decline may not reflect his true talent.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:25

Thomas had the ninth-best rookie WR season since Randy Moss in 1998 with 16.7 PPG; he could experience a year-three breakout similar to JSN last year, bouncing back from his disappointing year-two performance.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:25

Thomas fell from ninth-best rookie WR season to 145th in year two since 1998, a worse decline than Chris Chambers, Brandon Aiyuk, and Tank Dell, raising concerns about whether his rookie success was sustainable.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:26

Despite a massive year-two decline (9th best to 145th in PPR points since 1998), the analyst is still drafting him based on his elite rookie season, citing the year-three breakout pattern seen with JSN and the potential for a rebound similar to Brandon Aiyuk's year-three turnaround.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveProjection0:29

Grades as the only elite-tier WR prospect in the class with an 85%+ chance to hit a 14+ PPR point per game season; positioned to receive significant volume after Wandell Robinson handles gimmick/slot usage.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:29

Expected to be moved around the formation and given a ton of volume in the Bears offense after Wandell Robinson handles gimmick and slot roll usage.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:29

Expected to be moved around the formation and given significant volume in Brian Dable's offense, which has shown a pattern of peppering receivers with targets.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

PositiveProjection0:19

Godwin is now a year removed from his dislocated ankle injury and benefits from being in year two of recovery with no Mike Evans, maintaining a primary slot role where he averaged 19.7 PPG through 7 weeks in 2024 before his injury.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:19

Godwin is positioned as the primary slot receiver in the Buccaneers offense under new OC Zack Robinson, a role that has historically been his strength and should allow him to thrive.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveProjection0:03

Christian Watson would benefit alongside Matthew Golden if the Packers increase passing volume this season.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:32

Came off an ACL tear and returned last year as wide receiver 15 in points per game at 13.2 PPG; is a monster when healthy with 2.06 yards per route run over his four-year career.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:32

Injury history is a major concern; small sample size due to being frequently injured raises questions about whether he can stay healthy.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:32

With Danteon Wicks and Romeo Dobbs gone, he can be the number one guy running a ton of routes for Jordan Love.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole0:30

Better use of first read targets and focal point of the Bears offense compared to Roma Dunes; analyst likes him as part of the Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson experience.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

PositiveProjection0:20

Sutton was WR18 in PPG last year but represents a low-end WR2 scoring floor, and analyst is not enthusiastic about drafting him due to Waddle crowding the target share and boom-bust potential.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeProjection0:33

Had a really brutal year last year, finishing outside the top 40 wide receivers in points per game, getting outshined by Roma Odunze, Colston Loveland, and Luther Burden.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:33

Before last year, he was consistently a set-and-forget wide receiver 2 or 3 over his entire career, with finishes as WR26, WR9, WR33, WR23, WR28, and WR14.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:33

Is the number one wide receiver attached to Josh Allen in a wide-open receiver room; analyst compares this to the honeymoon phase AJ Brown had with the Patriots and George Pickens had with the Cowboys.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:33

DJ Moore is the number one wide receiver attached to Josh Allen in a wide-open receiver room.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

PositiveUsage0:15

Dallas Goedert is expected to take a good portion of targets in the Eagles offense, limiting opportunities for other receivers.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveUsage0:15

DeVonta Smith is expected to take a significant target share in the Eagles offense, limiting opportunities for other receivers like Mai Lemon.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveProjection0:23

In his second year in the Packers offense with established rapport with Aaron Rodgers, Metcalf was WR19 in PPG last year and should see increased pass attempts, making him a solid WR35 ranking.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveProjection0:33

Jameson Williams was WR17 in PPG last year and WR23 the year before, but showed improvement with WR12 PPG from week nine onward when Dan Campbell took over play calling. With new OC Drew Petzing and healthy Sam LaPorta, he's a boom-bust WR3 candidate.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:33

Has been tough to trust; was wide receiver 17 in points per game last year and wide receiver 23 the year before, showing inconsistency.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:33

Had more points per game in his wide receiver 23 year than his wide receiver 17 year last year, and was wide receiver 12 from week nine on when Dan Campbell took over play calling and Sam LaPorta got hurt.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:34

With Drew Pettigrew as the new offensive coordinator and Sam LaPorta healthy, it's tough to have him higher than a boom-bust wide receiver 3 due to uncertainty.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveProjection0:03

Jaden Reed would benefit alongside Matthew Golden if the Packers increase passing volume this season.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:20

Reed is a fun breakout candidate with a career 2.01 yards per route run and should see increased opportunities with Dobs and Wix gone, potentially becoming one of two Packers WRs with 80%+ route share under Jordan Love.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:21

Reed has a career 2.01 yards per route run and makes plays when on the field; if he gets more pass attempts and routes, he could have a monster year, especially with Jordan Love potentially having his best season since 2023.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:21

If Jordan Love has his best season since 2023, Jaden Reed could have a monster year given his efficiency and increased route share opportunities.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveBreakout0:37

Jaylen Waddle is one of the more underrated true talents in the NFL with 2.44 yards per route run since 2022 over 200+ routes and 23.7% first-read target share while in Tyreek Hill's shadow. Now as the focal point of the Dolphins passing offense, he could flirt with top-12 WR numbers for the first time since 2021-2022.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeProjection0:11

Not a fan of Jordan Addison this year at WR44; while he averages 12.4 PPG (high-end WR3), the Vikings passing offense won't support anyone besides Justin Jefferson, and his big play/touchdown upside is running cold.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:11

Jawan Jennings is a good enough blocker that he could challenge for two wide receiver sets, limiting Addison's opportunities.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveBreakout0:28

Top-10 WR prospect landing with the Saints, who run a high-volume, fast-paced offense (11th in plays per game, 1st in 2nd-and-shorts, 2nd in no-huddle rate), making him a strong fit for PPR formats where every play is a catch opportunity.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveProjection0:12

Over his entire career, Josh Downs commands the highest targets per route run for the first three seasons of a WR's career, ranking ahead of Puka Nacua, Rashee Rice, and Jamar Chase.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:12

Last year, Josh Downs was the odd man out as a slot-only player with Pitman and Alec Pierce ahead of him; he needs to play in three wide receiver sets to produce.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:12

Daniel Jones must sustain efficiency off his Achilles tear for Downs to produce, and Tyler Warren and Alec Pierce could outtarget him, making his fantasy viability dependent on playing in two wide receiver sets.

Insight page
NegativeUsage0:12

Tyler Warren and Alec Pierce are likely to outtarget Josh Downs, with his fantasy value dependent on whether he can play in two-wide receiver sets this season.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveRole0:30

Better use of first read targets and focal point of the Bears offense compared to Roma Dunes; analyst likes him as part of the Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson experience.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:38

Luther Burden is a rookie WR with elite yards per route run metrics among rookie seasons (OBJ, Burton, AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Puka Nua tier) and crushed everything per route in limited action (45% route share), showing he was amazing when on the field.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:38

Luther Burden is ranked WR21 by the analyst, matching his Underdog ADP, with the analyst stating he won't fade him despite only having a 45% route share last year as a rookie.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:38

Luther Burden ranks among the elite rookie wide receiver yards-per-route seasons (alongside OBJ, AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson) and crushed the rookie receiver report with elite per-route metrics despite limited route share.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:38

Ben Johnson, the offensive coordinator, went from criticizing Luther Burden's playbook grasp in early press conferences to publicly buying his stock in June, praising him significantly.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:39

The analyst believes Luther Burden has all the breakout potential in the world, though the upside is already priced in at WR21.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

PositiveProjection0:26

Harrison was WR26 in PPR points per game through week 10 before injury and showed strong film metrics (80th percentile vs. man coverage, 77th percentile vs. press coverage), positioning him for a potential step forward in the new system.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:26

With Mike LaFleur's arrival, the offense is expected to move Harrison around more (slot, motion, free releases) rather than keeping him as a pure X-receiver, which should open up his playmaking and reduce the difficulty of his role.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout0:00

Golden has year 2 breakout upside but the analyst is not very confident given his shaky rookie season with just 361 receiving yards through 14 games, making him one of only 17 first-round WRs since 2015 to fail to hit 500+ yards in their first 14 games.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:01

Golden had unremarkable per-play metrics as a rookie (PFF grade, points per game, targets per route run, yards per route run, first downs per route run) and was much closer to Jaden Higgins than Tedo McMillan or Luther Burden in performance.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:02

Golden had 292 unrealized air yards and finished strong with 4 catches, 84 yards, and a touchdown in the playoff loss, suggesting he and Jordan Love weren't on the same page early but could improve.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:02

Golden's route share of 57% should increase now that the Packers have a cleaner three-man WR rotation of Golden, Jaden Reed, and Christian Watson without Davon Wicks or Romeo Doubs.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:02

The analyst likes Golden because he wants to bet on Jordan Love, who ranks among the elite in career adjusted net yards per attempt (7.0+) alongside Mahomes, Lamar, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and Tony Romo.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:03

Golden could benefit if the Packers increase passing volume from 27th last year toward their 15th-ranked attempts from Jordan Love's true breakout season, especially with Micah Parsons banged up and Josh Jacobs having uncertainty.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

PositiveProjection0:15

Michael Pitman is ranked WR40 by the analyst and is higher than consensus, with Mike Clay's ESPN projections ranking him WR31.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:16

Michael Pitman is ranked WR40 by the analyst, higher than consensus WR47 on Underdog, and projects to crush his ADP through increased touchdown upside.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:16

Michael Pitman benefits from increased passing volume in the Cowboys offense, with Mike McCarthy's history showing he ranks high in passing attempts and the team trading for Pitman and drafting Jeremy Bernard.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:16

Pitman benefits from the Cowboys trading for him and drafting Jeremy Bernard, creating a team that slants towards wanting to throw the football under Mike McCarthy, who ranks highly in passing attempts over his career.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:16

Analyst is higher on Pitman than his WR40 ranking, believing his ADP between Worthy and Golden represents good value for a PPR receiver who has made his bread and butter with 100 catches for low 1,000 yard seasons.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:17

Michael Pitman is a PPR-friendly receiver who makes his bread and butter catching 100 balls for low 1,000 yard seasons, benefiting from the Steelers' projected third-most pass attempts.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:17

Michael Pitman was WR26 last year and the analyst is higher than market consensus, believing WR40 might still be too low for him.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:17

Pitman lacks wide receiver one upside and carries downside risk if Aaron Rodgers declines or is replaced by Mason Rudolph or Drew Arrington, which could make his situation 'really ugly.'

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeBust0:07

Michael Wilson, ranked WR47, is overvalued relative to consensus; he has never been efficient over a full sample (1.37 yards per route run career, 1.59 last year), scored 26 points per game in just five games without Marvin Harrison Jr. but only 8 points per game otherwise, and lacks the talent to overcome a Cardinals offense projected for the second-least points in the NFL.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection0:34

Mike Evans, heading into his age 33 season after an injury-riddled year, is a boom-bust play with significant boom potential—he could be a monster for one last year or decline like Julio Jones on the Titans.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole0:14

Parker Washington is expected to be one of the outside receivers for the Jaguars alongside Brian Thomas.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:21

Parker Washington is worth drafting as a Jaguars WR option, posting 25% targets per route run and 15.1 PPG while running 75% of routes when Shakobe Myers was in the mix.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:21

Parker Washington has a breakout argument with strong per-route metrics (25% targets per route run, 15.1 PPG over recent span) and is projected to be one of the two favorite wide receivers in two-receiver sets alongside Brian Thomas.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

PositiveValue0:08

Wide receiver 46 ranking is probably too low; he finished WR22 in PPG last year and WR37 the year before, suggesting he could outperform this ranking spot and smash his ADP.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:08

Quentyn Johnston, ranked WR46, is probably too low; he finished WR22 in points per game last year and WR37 the year before, but faces depth chart competition from Trey Harris, Ronda Gadson, Lakoni, and potentially Keenan Allen returning.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:09

Lad McConi is expected to take away significant touches from Quentyn Johnston in the Chargers offense.

Insight page

Ricky Pearsall

PositiveBreakout0:10

Year three breakout potential with Ricky Pearsall in a great 49ers offense as Mike Evans and George Kittle age.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:10

PCL injury is no joke and genuinely derailed his season; he was WR3 in yards per game and WR4 in yards per route before the injury but was brutal afterward.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:10

Crushes press coverage at 83rd percentile and has significant upside potential, though his career has featured excuses and now faces a 'put up or shut up' moment.

Insight page

Rome Odunze

PositiveProjection0:30

Ranked at wide receiver 29; analyst has him about where the market has him but is not super high on him due to injury concerns.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:30

Suffered injury issues last year with reoccurrence risk five to seven times higher; analyst notes this could be the new normal and represents long-term injury risk.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:31

Over the first eight games of last year, he averaged 15.5 points per game, performing like a backend wide receiver one in a down year for the position before getting hurt.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:31

After getting injured, his production dropped to 7.2 points per game, raising questions about whether he can rebound and if the injury will alter his career trajectory.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:32

Had an 85th percentile win rate versus man coverage and 93rd percentile versus press coverage, showing year three breakout potential despite concerns about Luther Burden and Colston Loveland emerging.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:32

Could be the sacrificial receiver with Loveland and Burden doing the primary work over the middle and out of the slot, limiting his upside.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveRole0:35

Terry McLaurin finds himself as the only real target in the Commanders receiving game, with improved QB play from Jaden Daniels in year three, new offensive coordinator David Blau, and improved offensive line play.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

PositiveUsage0:12

Tyler Warren is projected to outtarget Josh Downs in the Colts offense.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveBreakout0:06

Xavier Worthy, ranked WR48, could have a year three breakout if fully healthy after a shoulder injury in week one last year, and should benefit from Benemy returning as offensive coordinator instead of Matt Nagy, plus the Rashi Rice situation creating opportunity.

0:00What's going on, man? Welcome back to the basement. I'm Rod and today we're going to rank my top 50 wide receivers
0:05for 2026 fantasy football leagues. We are continuing to build out our foundation, the blueprint for this upcoming season. I am sure that these
0:16rankings will change a ton between now and week one. But every tinker, every tweak, every change I make to the rankings will start from this original
0:27rough draft here today. As always, if you enjoy, leave a like. Subscribe if you're new. And our wide receiver 50.
0:35Starting it off is Matthew Golden in Ftier. We're going to count from 50 all the way up to one. These are fresh off
0:42the press as always. If you want access out here in June to my rankings, you can get them over on the Patreon.
0:49patreon.com/ronon Stewart. You can find that in the description and the comment section down below and then upload them straight to underdog to draft with them
0:57right now. Now, with Matthew Golden, we're talking about bench receivers at this point, flex receivers, guys who are just flyers off the bench. And Matthew
1:08Golden, I'm not the biggest fan, but I I do acknowledge that there is year 2 breakout upside. I'm just not very
1:14confident in the year two breakout upside because year one was pretty shaky. He had just 361 receiving yards through 14 regular season games. He is
1:22one of 17 first round wide receivers since 2015 to h to fail to hit 500 plus receiving yards in his first 14 games.
1:30It's a brutal list to be a part of.
1:31We're talking Laquan Treadwell, John Ross, Jameson Williams is a hit. If you want to talk about some hits, you got Mike Williams, Quentyn Johnston,
1:38and that's kind of it. Everything else is pretty pretty ugly, right? You're talking Agalore, Kevin White, Brashad Perman, Philip Dorset, Josh Dachson,
1:46Xavier Legette, Cadarius Tony. It's not a great list to be a part of and he just didn't really jump off the screen when
1:51we talk about the rookie receiver report. This something I do every single week during the season breaking down the per out metrics for the rookies. And in
1:59terms of PFF grade, points per game, targets per out run, yards per out run, first downs per out run, he was
2:04unremarkable and much closer to your Jaden Higgins than he was Tedo McMillan, Luther Burden, even Acha Ibuka as well.
2:14But you can sell yourself on the upside, right? Year two breakout, he could just become a better player. He also had 292
2:21unrealized area yards. It just seems like him and Jordan Love weren't on the same page last year. And then he did
2:27finish strong with four catches, 84 yards, and a touchdown in their playoff loss. I will say there's no Davon Wixs.
2:35There's no Romeo Dobs. So, a wide receiver room that has for a long time been almost like a platoon that they
2:41rotate and play in shifts. Now, we're going to get on the field more, right?
2:45That 57% route share here is going to come up now that it is just really a three-man rotation of him, Jaden Reed,
2:52and Christian Watson. And I think the overarching point here is I just want to bet on Jordan Love. So that's why I
2:59don't mind Matthew Golden is that I think Jordan Love gets not enough respect is what I would say when you look at career leaders in
3:08adjusted net yards per attempt. That's essentially like yards per attempt, but it takes account takes into account sacks, interceptions, bad plays,
3:16yardage, all of that. It's like an all-encompassing stat. To me, it's like a better passer rating all time. It is Mahomes, Lamar, Aaron Rogers, Pton
3:24Manning, Drew Brees, Jordan Love, Tom Brady, Tony Romo. Those are your only guys with a career adjusted net yards per attempt of over seven. Now, the big
3:33thing for the Packers passing offense is going to be the volume. They were at 27th in attempts last year, 30th the
3:38year before that, 15th the year before that, and that was Jordan Love's true breakout season. And I think that we could see them go more towards that 15
3:45number than 30 because Micah Parsons is banged up. Josh Jacobs has a ton of uncertainty and we could see them want
3:51to throw the ball a lot more this year.
3:53And if that happens, Matthew Golden benefits, but then also who we'll talk about later, Jaden Reed and Christian Watson also benefit. Then we will talk
4:02about Casey Conpsion. Instead of Jordan Love, this is a guy who has Shor Sanders or Deshun Watson.
4:08And that's kind of the rough part about Conpsion. Now, I will say he feels eerily similar to rookie year Garrett Wilson. Nobody wanted anything to do
4:17with Garrett Wilson. His quarterback was Zach Wilson at the time, I believe.
4:22Really strong wide receiver prospect.
4:24Nobody wanted the Jets wide receiver.
4:26Similar deal here. I will say Conpsion's not the same tier of prospect. Gary Wilson, top 10 pick, really strong player out of Ohio State. But Conpion is
4:33still a really solid prospect. This is his reception perception. Shout out to Matt Harmon. across the board, 80 80th percentile or better. Super dynamic
4:42player as well. 70 rushes for 431 yards and three rushing touchdowns during his college career. Todd Monin comes in to be the new play caller. It's tough to
4:52take much about Todd Mon because he's had Lamar Jackson for the last few years, but he was a part of those, I
4:59believe, those Jameus Winston years in Tampa when they would throw the ball a ton. So, we should see more passing volume. You should see some more modern
5:06concepts of motion and uh multiple tight end sets. This is actually a great metric from uh Matt Harmon here kind of
5:14showcasing this static score that takes an average of a team's rankings in rate of plays and heavy personnel uh non-shotgun snap rate, drop back motion
5:23rate, play action rate. So, are you sending guys in motion? Are you doing play action? Are you getting tight ends on the field? Which tight ends on the
5:29field just bumps your yards per out run for the wide receivers? And then also playing under center, the Ravens were fifth best in that metric, which is Todd
5:39Monkins doing purely. So then he is going to come to the Browns and hopefully give us some of that. And we
5:44could see Casey Conpsion a very similar archetype to Z Flowers kind of be that in this offense. Now, we also have the
5:54aspect of rookie wide receivers backloading their production. We've seen that less in recent years and Ryan Heath makes a great point here saying that
6:02most of the day one guys play immediately for a decent baseline. So the guys who backload their points are going to be day three picks like Aman
6:09Rosane Brown or a second round pick like Christian Watson. But I think we could see it for Conpsion who's going to be a
6:14little bit buried on the depth chart on day one. You're going to have of course Harold Fannon. You're going to have
6:20Jerry Judy. You're going to even have longtime wide receiver there Cedric Tilman limiting his snaps out the gate.
6:26But I think that he will finish strong.
6:28Then at wide receiver 48, we have a flawed receiver attached to Patrick Mahomes. Wide receiver 48, Xavier Worthy. You can sell yourself on the out
6:39of nowhere year three breakout. you can write off a bad year too last year because if you remember week one he had
6:44like a crossing route uh or more like a drag really where he bumps into Travis Kelce hurts his shoulder and then from
6:53there never really got back to his true form so he he could take a step forward here fully healthy he does now have
7:00Benemy as the OC instead of Matt Nai if you remember there's kind of a whole list of reasons why this Chief's offense
7:07hasn't been the same over the last three years you can point to Matt Nai you can point to Tyreek Hill going to the
7:12Dolphins. But if Matt Nikki has anything to do with it, Benemy coming back might make this offense a little bit more fun,
7:19a little bit more highscoring and Xavier Worthy would be a beneficiary, especially with all the the uh Rashi Rice stuff going on right now as well.
7:28Then at wide receiver 47, I'll be honest, I also kind of stick my nose in here and tell you who I'm lower on or
7:32higher on than Consensus. Michael Wilson, I'm I'm lower on than Consensus.
7:37I just can't do it. I I understand that he had a stretch last year where he was amazing.
7:44I just I I He's got to show me it again for me to like actually think that it's real. You look over his entire career,
7:50he is somebody who has had a 1.37 yards per run. Even last year, just a 1.59 yards per run. He's never
8:00been super efficient over a full sample.
8:02If you look at just the five games without Marvin Harrison Jr., it's 26 points per game. Outside of that, we're talking eight points per game. And I
8:08just don't really want to bet on pieces of this Cardinals offense. Jeremiah Love is already pushed up. You already have Marvin Harrison Jr. going in front of
8:16him. You have Trey McBride pushed up.
8:17And we're talking about a team projected for the second least amount of points in the NFL. And I just don't think that
8:23Michael Wilson has the talent to overcome that like I think that a Casey Conpsion can. Especially Conpion. I think that he can lead the team in
8:30targets over the last eight weeks. I just don't see that same path for Michael Wilson. You also now have a new
8:36coach who wasn't a part of making him the focal point for that backseason stretch like he was last year with Drew
8:43Petting. So, there's just a lot of variables up in the air. We have a huge sample of him not being all that good.
8:51So, I'm just going to lean on that is kind of where I stand. Uh then at wide receiver 46, we go back to flawed
8:57receivers in really good offenses with Quentyn Johnston. This is probably too low for him, I'll be honest, but it is a
9:03little tough. They now they have Trey Harris. They have Ronda Gadson. They have Lakoni. They could bring back Keenan Allen.
9:09Did I say Trey Harris? They just have like a lot of pieces, a lot of moving parts. I I want to see I think last year
9:14as well in like one wide receiver sets, it was a lot of Trey Harris out there.
9:18So, we'll see. But I will say a guy who finished wide receiver 22 in points per game last year, wide receiver 37 in
9:23points per game. The year before that, wide receiver 46 is probably too low. I also really love this partnership of Justin Herbert and Mike McDaniel. But as
9:32a part of that, I also think that we're going to see a lot more Lad McConi taking stuff away from Quentyn Johnston,
9:36but he could very much outperform this ranking spot. And I will say as well, I don't make these rankings with the idea
9:44of if I rank Quenton Johnston at 46 that he's going to finish 46. It's not as much an accuracy contest where I
9:51want these rankings to be what actually happens. It's the order that I would draft these players relative to their upside because I want players that can
9:59truly smash their ADPs. And I think somebody that can do that is honestly Ricky Pieraw uh who I have as my wide
10:05receiver 45. Another great offense. We want pieces of the 49ers. Mike Evans is getting old. George KD is getting old.
10:11He's off an Achilles tear. You again have year three breakout potential with Ricky Pieraw. And I think it's really important to note that this PCL injury
10:19is no joke. It's something that we saw as well with uh Drake London and Brock Bowers. They had PCL injuries which just
10:26seemed like oh like knee sprains or whatever, but it genuinely derailed all of their seasons. Weeks one through three before the PCL injury. He he was
10:36wide receiver three in yards per game, wide receiver four in yards per out run, wide receiver 12 in points per game. He
10:40was genuinely good. And then once you had the first games off of that PCL injury, he was brutal. If you look at
10:47his reception perception, he crushes it 83rd percentile versus press coverage.
10:53He has a lot of potential here where he looked good before injury, but then it's also been a lot of excusem for Ricky
11:01Psaw to this point in his career. So, at this point, it's kind of put up or shut up, but the upside is very much there.
11:07Then we can talk about Jordan Addison, who I'm not the biggest fan of this year. Wide receiver 44. His career has
11:14been pretty solid. He's at 12.4 four points per game over his entire career dating back to 2023. That's about like a
11:20high-end wide receiver three number. But we now have a spot where I think Kyler Murray is going to be solid for this
11:26passing offense, but I don't think it's going to be enough for anyone besides Justin Jefferson to be really useful for fantasy football. Addison's kind of
11:34thrived off of big plays and touchdowns.
11:36I think that that is kind of running cold at this point. You also still have Joan Jennings, who Jawan Jennings is a
11:42good enough blocker that he could challenge for two wide receiver sets.
11:44Hawinson's another year off of his injury. And Kyler's best season, he supported a receiver, right? Hopkins had 115 catches, 1400 yards, six touchdowns.
11:54And then the next best receiver was Christian Kirk, who showed on the Jaguars that he was actually a good player, but in that season had just 48
12:01catches, 621 yards, and six touchdowns.
12:03I think Addison is going to be uh a little bit frustrating this year as kind of just a flex piece. Then we can talk
12:09about honestly a darling of this channel for a long time. We have Josh DS at wide receiver 43. I love the talent. He is
12:18somebody where over his entire career he is commanding volume, highest targets per out run over the first three seasons of a wide receivers's career. According
12:26to Ryan Heath, it is Puka Neighbors Rashi Rice, Aman Rashane Brown, London Wadd, Olave, JSN, Garrett Wilson, Josh DS, then Jamar Chase, then Zay Flowers.
12:35Uh when DS is on the field, he commands volume. We just need him running routes.
12:41Last year, the big deal is we had Pitman, we had Alec Pierce, and then Josh DS was the odd man out as a slot
12:47only player. Really, what you need this year is you need Josh DS playing in three wide receiver sets, and you need
12:52Daniel Jones to sustain some level of efficiency off of the Achilles tear.
12:56Both of those things are pretty tricky.
12:58How good is this offense going to be?
12:59Tyler Warren is probably going to outtarget Josh Downs, and then Alec Pierce toss up to outtarget Josh Downs. It kind of comes down to if downs can play in
13:09two wide receiver sets this season. Then at wide receiver 42, I would call this like a high floor play. Uh Jacobe Meyers
13:16here, we want pieces of this Jaguars offense. They were the sixth best passing EPA per play offense after their by-week last year. I am fully bought in
13:25to the Liam Cohen Trevor Lawrence experience. And if we look at pretty much when Jacobe Myers got traded to the Jaguars
13:34one game after his first game because his first game there he played like 40% of the snaps whatever everything from there this is the screenshot from
13:40fantasylife.com showing the utilization scores. You can see the route percentages the PPR points per game. He had 11.4 points per game as last year
13:48again it was a down year. I say again because it's something I've mentioned in these videos is last year was a down
13:54year for the wide receiver position in terms of wide receiver two. So 11.4 four points per game is a wide receiver two
14:02last season, but in most years that's really more of like a wide receiver three, but he did run the most routes. I
14:07think that he is going to be the slot receiver on this team. I think he'll have a high floor. I don't know what his
14:12ceiling is, but I think he is going to be a fine high floor flex option in this offense. He was kind of like the most
14:19steady option last season, but there is some downside that he could get squeezed out in a similar fashion to Josh Downs
14:25where if Parker Washington and Brian Thomas are the outside receivers and then they're going to run more of the heavy personnel stuff where they draft
14:32the kid out of Texas A&M in round two and they're starting to add all these tight ends to the room in addition to
14:36Brentton Strange. Then we could see Jacobe Myers be the odd man out and that could hurt his fantasy value. Uh and
14:42then we'll talk about wide receiver 41, Mai Lemon. We have a lot of players in this F tier. Uh these are again just
14:48kind of like your bench stashes, flex options during by-weeks is kind of how I would describe this tier. Uh you have
14:54Mai Lemon. AJ Brown's gone, but Mai Lemon right now I'm probably lower than the market on him. Even though I really
15:01like rookie receivers usually, he's just tough. He's right now he's not practicing. And then on top of that, you have a low volume passing offense with
15:08the Eagles where Devonte Smith is already going to take a ton and then Dallas GD is going to take a good bit.
15:12And I just don't know how much will be left over. I know that AJ Brown Round and Dvonte Smith both thrived with
15:17Jaylen Herz, but those are two exceptional per routeout players. I just don't know if Mai Lemon will be that right away, but he is a strong prospect
15:24in my model. He compares to JSN, Jerry Judy, Luther Bird, and Marvin Mims, Matthew Golden. So, a mixed box, right?
15:30Of course, JSN really good player. Uh whereas like Marvin Mims and Matthew Golden, uh not so much. Then our last wide receiver in this tier, a guy that I
15:39actually like a ton, I'm higher on than Consensus. I think he's like wide receiver47 or something on underdog, which of course, as always, use promo
15:47code Ron. When you play $5, you can get $50 over on Underdog. I had a link in the description and the comment section
15:54down below. You can go to the Patreon, get my rankings, upload them to underdog, and then draft over on there with Michael Pitman. He just projects
16:01really well. And I, you guys know me, I am definitely a sucker for the projections. is Mike Clay over there on
16:06ESPN did his projections where his main goal there's no player biases. There's no he he has no incentive to do anything
16:14but try and make the most accurate set of rankings possible going from uh coach tendencies to quarterback tendencies drawing efficiency from the receivers to
16:22the quarterback. Doing all of that from the ground up. Uh it's great work every year. And he has Michael Pitman as the
16:27wide receiver 31 and Metaf as the wide receiver 32. I have Pitman as my wide receiver 40 right now. And again, I'm
16:33higher than consensus with that. It's it's fair to question, okay, why is he for 31, but how does he crush his ADP
16:39here? I I would say that he crushes his ADP by that four touchdown number going up to like 10. That's how he crushes.
16:45And I think that that is in his range of outcomes. Uh but I think there's going to be a lot of passing volume on this
16:50team, right? They trade for Pitman, they draft Jeremy Bernard, and you now have a team that like maybe slants towards wanting to throw the football,
16:57especially given Mike McCarthy's history since 2016. So like the last 10 years pretty much he is ranked third, eighth, 19th, sixth, second, third, 14th in a
17:08season where Rogers was hurt and then fifth in passing attempts on a team level. So he is somebody who loves to
17:14push the passing volume. He has Aaron Rogers for one last ride here. And we have from Mike Clay the Steelers projected for the third most pass
17:25attempts. Now, the yards and the touchdowns aren't quite there, but a guy in Michael Pitman who has made his bread and butter catching a 100 balls for low
17:341,000 yard season, somebody who's much more of a PPR receiver, I think that that benefits Pitman a ton. Someone who was the wide receiver 26 last year. I'm
17:42higher than the mark. I think wide receiver 40 still might be too low on Michael Pitman. So, we'll see. I might
17:47revisit that and put him up higher. I I admit that maybe the ceiling isn't there. Like I I don't know how Pitman
17:52just like crushes ADP. I like obviously 10 touchdowns and 100 catches is is great, but uh I don't like he's not
17:59going to offer wide receiver one upside. Uh and you know there is some downside that Aaron Rogers father time comes for him and he
18:07is just terrible and then you're getting uh Mason Rudolph targets and things could just get really ugly or I guess like if Drew Ar comes in down the
18:15stretch of the season uh there is some downside there. So, I don't want to paint it to be like there's no way that
18:20Michael Pitman fails, but for right now, uh I'm loving drafting him. Like where he goes in drafts is really more towards
18:27uh like right here or even after Worthy really between Worthy, Conpsion, and Golden I believe is his ADP over on Underdog. Uh then we can talk about the
18:38next tier. These are guys that I would have a lot more trust or you know what, I'm going to do this on the fly. We're
18:44putting Pitman in the E tier at the very least. Uh, but these are guys that I would trust in my flex spot. Uh, pretty
18:49much like out the gate. Uh, first we have Chris Godwin at wide receiver 39 here. He is somebody that last year had
19:00the injury that I've been very spooked about when it comes to who have we been talking about that I've been spooked
19:06about? Scatabo Judkins. That fibula injury, tibula, fibula, ankle, dislocated ankle is what he had last year. Godwin, it's all no good. He is
19:16now a year off of that. You have from Jeff Mueller here, a fantasy analyst who is also a physical therapist. Uh he is
19:22year two removed from the ankle dislocation. There's no Mike Evans. He's maintaining a slot role. Baker Mayfield should bounce back a uh after kind of
19:30like being banged up all last season.
19:32And we've already had quotes from Zack Robinson, who is now the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator, kind of outlining what he sees as the
19:42roles in this offense. You have Godwin primarily out of the slot. That's huge for him. This is somebody that the last
19:47time he was fully healthy out of the slot, he was at 19.7 points per game through 7 weeks before dislocating that
19:53ankle in 2024. Ibuka at the Z, McMillan in all three spots, Ted Hurst as the sacrificial X pretty much, and then that
20:02frees up Godwin to be the primary slot and thrive in that role that he always has. Uh, and then we can talk about
20:09Courtland Sutton, who it's tough because I'm not enthusiastic to draft Courtland Sutton. He was the wide receiver, 18 in points per game
20:17last year, but again, really low year in terms of wide receiver 2 scoring. Waddle crowds things a little bit. I think that
20:23we could see Sutton kind of take a backseat there and just be like a boom bust. Flex play feels like a fine wide
20:29receiver three. Bon should be healthy.
20:31It should be a solid offense. But for now, this is where I will put Sutton.
20:35Then at wide receiver 37, a fun breakout candidate I like is Jaden Reed. Uh very similar to Josh DS, but I just have much
20:42more faith in Jordan Love. And I also have much more faith in Jordan Reed actually getting the nod to play out
20:48there in your three wide receiver sets because that's really what it comes down to with Jordan Reed or Jaden Reed is is
20:57he going to be out there in two wide receiver sets? You can see that's kind of been the issue especially last year.
21:01You had no Packers wide receiver over 80% of the routes last year. We talked about it with Golden. But I think with
21:09Dobs gone, with Wix gone, we should see I think that we're going to see two Packers wide receivers this year with an
21:1680% route share, that's a big deal.
21:18Jaden Reed could be one of them.
21:19Somebody who has a career 2.01 yards per out run. When he's on the field, he makes plays. If we can get more pass
21:25attempts, more routes. Jordan Love kind of having a not a career here, but when you look at his box scores over the
21:34years, if this could be his best season since 2022, I believe uh or no 25, I think that would be since 2023, uh Jaden Reed, I
21:45think, would have a monster year. Then we have a tricky projection in Parker Washington. All of these Jaguars wide receivers are tricky. I think that they
21:54are all worth drafting because again I just want Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence pass catching options on my fantasy football
22:03team. We can look at again that uh kind of snap share route share for all of the Jaguars wide receivers when Shakobe
22:11Myers was in the mix. Parker Washington was a part-time receiver 75% of the routes but he was amazing. 25% targets per out run. He had 15.1 points per game
22:20over that span. And it's interesting to see how he's going to settle into this room. We got this at up top from Travis
22:28Holmes, who is a beat reporter for the Jaguars. He is predicting that in three wide receiver sets, you have Washington and Brian Thomas outside, Shobe Myers
22:35inside. And what that would point to is that in two wide receiver sets, Parker Washington stays on the field with Kobe
22:41Meers coming off. You have kind of a breakout argument for Parker Washington where he feels like Michael Wilson a little bit where it was just a hot
22:48stretch last year. But I'm just much more into Liam Cohen is still there whereas Drew Petting left and then I also have much more confidence in Trevor
22:55Lawrence and I do Kobe Brassette. And I also think Parker Washington has a little bit more substance in terms of his per route metrics. You have this
23:02from Zayn underneath Travis Holmes saying that we look at out wide versus slot production. Parker Washington leads the entire room in targets per run and
23:10yards per run when out wide and then same deal when in the slot which Kobe Myers actually having a higher targets
23:15per run in the slot. actually points to the idea that Parker Washington is best used on the perimeter. And again, why
23:20that's a big deal is that the gold in this Jaguars offense is going to get the two wide receivers out there in two wide
23:26receiver sets. I think the two favorites are going to be Brian Thomas and Parker Washington. Then we can talk about a
23:32wide receiver 35 DK Metaf. It's his second year in this offense. Now he has rapport with Aaron Rogers. Last year he
23:38was the wide receiver 19 in points per game. This is a huge bump down from that. I think as much as maybe Pitman
23:44eats into his target share, I think that we're going to see Pitman operate a lot more underneath. We're going to see a
23:49lot of pass attempts on this team as we kind of outlined for Pitman than his old teammate at wide receiver 34.
23:57Alec Pierce. Now, this one's tricky.
24:00Something to keep an eye on right now is he is dealing with a left ankle injury.
24:05Six weeks posttop from Jeff Mueller here, struggling to step through.
24:08Explains why he might not be ready for training camp. And that's kind of the worry. He may not be ready for training
24:12camp. That's a big deal. He signs a big deal, which again, who knows? These Colts decision makers are kind of crazy.
24:18We're giving out massive contracts to Don Jones off of the Achilles tear.
24:22Did you Did you know anything about this ankle thing when you gave Alec Pierce all of this money regardless, last year,
24:28really interesting season from him, 84 targets, he turned into 47 catches, 103 yards, six touchdowns. He was the wide receiver 23 in points per game. Here I
24:37have him as a boom bust wide receiver three. He signs a huge contract. There's no more Michael Pitman.
24:44I'm skeptical of him ever being a real target earner where he could be better than this. He's kind of like if you just
24:48implanted uh Jameson Williams on the Colts. That's I think that this is a round where you would rank him. So that's how I feel about Alec Pierce.
24:57Then we can talk about Brian Thomas. And this one is just so tricky. It's so tricky.
25:07First, what I'll say is we have here from Jeff Mueller the a quote from Brian Thomas saying just a lot of little
25:13things that I had going on was able to get them cleaned up. Essentially like minor procedures whether that was ankle, shoulder, wrist, just pointing to the
25:19idea that Brian Thomas wasn't 100% right last year. He was learning a new playbook. He had a year two from hell.
25:24This is a guy who in his rookie season 16.7 points per game. That is the ninth best rookie wide receiver season since
25:30Randy Moss in 1998. You have OBJ, Randy Moss, Neighbors, Jamar Chase, Balden, Puka Nua, Justin Jefferson, Michael Thomas, Brian Thomas, and then Mike
25:39Evans, and then Marcus Coloulston, and then Julio Jones for your best point seasons. He as of right now is by far
25:46the worst guy on this list. You can either lean on this list and say he was so good as a rookie that it's undeniable
25:53and he's going to bounce back in year three. We we know the year three breakout we saw with JSN last year and
25:57even Quentyn Johnson to another extent.
26:00Could that be Brian Thomas? Well, if you turn the page, his year two was 145th.
26:04So, he goes from ninth best to 145th since 1998. He had a worse year two than Chris Chambers, Brandon Iayuk, Tank
26:11Dell, who it's actually funny. Brandon Aayuk and Tank Dell were two of the biggest uh rookie year, 15 plus point per game scorers to then flopping in
26:19year two. Uh Brendon Aayuk did, I believe, rebound in his year three season was amazing. We could see that for Brian Thomas. Tankell, another story
26:27with that horrific injury.
26:30We'll see. I I can't quit that rookie year. I'm drafting Brian Thomas, but I'm prepared to be let down. I get why
26:37people would be skeptical of wanting to trust him. Uh then at wide receiver for 32, Marvin Harrison Jr. similar idea of
26:45we're into year three. There's room for a year three breakout. Uh Marvin Harrison before he got hurt had a pretty solid season. Was the wide receiver 26
26:52in points per game through week 10. He gets hurt. Uh but there are some things to cling on to. I think that this
26:58offense is going to suit him a little bit more with Mike Laflur. We have uh I don't really read read too much into
27:04like Devonte Adams and Puka Nakua.
27:06Obviously, he's not Devonte Adams, but the big thing is that he says that Marvin Harrison Jr. profiles as an ex- receiver, but they want to move
27:12playmakers around in this offense. That has been one of the biggest issues for Marvin Harrison in this Drew Petting offense before Laflur got there is he
27:19has just been the ex-receiver. Line up there, go win like a big boy, which you know some guys do, right? and Nico
27:26Collins will do that. But to make things easier, you want to move them into the slot. You want to put them in motion.
27:32You want to give them free releases here and there. And if that's what we're going to get with the floor, then that
27:36opens things up a lot more for Marvin Harrison Jr. to not have to do everything on the Heisman difficulty.
27:44That'll just kind of free things up for him. And then also reception perception, he was 80th percentile versus man coverage, 77th percentile versus press
27:50coverage. He looked good on film. He was getting open. He was pretty solid until he got hurt. We could see him take a
27:56step forward this year in a new system, but who knows who plays quarterbacks?
28:00Who knows how many touchdowns he can even score in this offense. Uh, so for now, wide receiver 32 sounds about right. Then we have the rookie Jordan
28:07Tyson, someone that we talked about all dynasty season long over on the RS Dynasty channel. Uh, I will say on the
28:13off chance that you're coming from the RS Dynasty channel to the Ron Stewart channel, make sure you're subscribed, leave a like, all that good stuff, we
28:19will have reddraft content from now through week one, through week 17, all of that good stuff. But with Jordan Tyson, top 10 pick at wide receiver,
28:28really fun prospect. My model wasn't super high on him. They he had I say they like the model's like a living,
28:34breathing thing. My model had him as like the wide receiver three strong round one wide receiver prospect but I know other nerds out there like JJ
28:42Zachary had Jordan Tyson as the wide receiver one in this class uh firmly. So he is a strong prospect depending on
28:48depending on what you are looking at in terms of uh early career production and peak seasons. He had one season at
28:55Arizona State that was amazing. Uh he gets a fun landing spot here. You have Tyler Chuck who I think can take a big
29:01step forward in year two and you get Kell Moore who runs a really fun offense. They were 11th in plays per
29:06game last year, first and seconds per snap, second and no huddle rate. They want to get up to the line and play
29:10fast. So if you're on a Saints offense that's probably not going to be a top five scoring offense, you want the
29:15plays, especially in PPR where every one of those plays is an opportunity to catch a football, which is huge for Jordan Tyson. And then we'll put next to
29:22him his rookie running mate Carnell Tate, wide receiver 30. He grades out in my model as the wide receiver one at in
29:32the what I call in the RS grades the elite tier which is an 85% chance to hit a 14 plus point per game season. The
29:40only elite wide receiver prospect in this class for me he grades out as the guy and I'm fine with this spot where he
29:47goes with Camort who has year two breakout potential. Brian Dable, who we've seen just pepper Malik Neighbors with targets. And I think after Wandell
29:54Robinson, who's going to have a lot of the gimmick and slot roll usage, we will see Carnell Tate moved around the
30:00formation and given a ton of volume.
30:03Then we can start talking about our fringe wide receiver twos here. Guys that you can put in the flex spot very
30:08confidently and put in your wide receiver two spot on more running back heavy teams. We have Roma Dunes at wide receiver 29. Uh I'm not fading Roma
30:16Dunay. I have him about where the market has him. I just understand why Luther Burden and Coloulston Lovelin are ranked ahead. I like all of them, but I'm just
30:26taking shots on this passing offense in general. I I want pieces of the Caleb Williams Ben Johnson experience. And the reason why I like Burton and Lovelin
30:34more is just that they were better uses of first read targets and being a focal point of the offense. But you can also point to Roma Dunay and
30:43say, well, he had uh injury issues last year. But then you can also say maybe these injury issues aren't going away,
30:49right? This is from Jeff Mueller. Uh you had the quote that maybe this is the new normal. You can read this if you'd like.
30:54It's essentially just who knows. He's saying that this is the new normal.
31:00The injury could have risks longterm.
31:03Reoccurrence risk is five to seven times higher. We'll see how it goes. Uh if you want to fade him for the injury risk,
31:08you can. I'm not super high on Odunce, but I have him like about where the market has him. Uh you can also look at
31:13here. The injury affected things a ton last year. This is a great article. I recommend all of you guys go check it
31:18out from Dwayne McFarland over on fantasylife.com. He looked at the injuries last year that weren't reported all that much. So, not just like, oh,
31:27this guy got hurt, but this guy got hurt and it affected his play. And maybe you're forgetting about that when you
31:32look back on his points per game. And last year over the first eight games, Odun was at 15.5 points per game. In a
31:38down year for wide receiver twos, he was killing it. He was like a backend wide receiver one over that time frame. And
31:43then once he got hurt, it was all over.
31:457.2 points per game. And now the question is, can he rebound? Is this injury going to alter the rest of his
31:53career? And then also, because Luther Burton and Coloulston Loveland broke out almost on the tail end of this, can Roma Dunce kind of reaffirm himself at the
32:03top of the totem pole? I don't think so.
32:05But the year three breakout, he had an 85th percentile win rate versus man coverage on reception perception, 93rd verse press. There are things here for
32:12him to be that. I think that the upside is there. I just wouldn't say it's the favorite in terms of like the betting
32:17odds of what I think is going to happen this season. He could just be kind of the sacrificial exceiver with Lovelin
32:22and Burden doing all the fun stuff over the middle, out of the slot, uh, all of that. Then at wide receiver 28, we have
32:30the man who just got paid, Christian Watson. He came off an ACL tear in the 2024 playoffs and last year he comes
32:37back during the season and is the wide receiver 15 in points per game at 13.2 points per game. He is a monster when
32:44he's on the field. 2.06 yards per out run over his entire four-year career.
32:48But it's a small sample because he's always hurt. So that's kind of the issue. Can he stay healthy? When he's healthy, he's amazing. And then also now
32:54that Danteon Wixs and Romeo Dobs are gone, he can be the number one guy running a ton of routes for Jordan Love.
33:01It's just can he hold up is really the question. Then at wide receiver 27, we have DJ Moore. Really brutal year last
33:09year. He was out of the top 40 wide receivers in points per game. He gets outshined by Roma Dunay, Coloulston Lovelin, Luther Burden. But before that,
33:17he was the wide receiver 26, the wide receiver 9, the wide receiver 33, wide receiver 23, wide receiver 28, wide receiver 14. So just set and forget uh
33:26wide receiver 2, wide receiver three over his entire career. And now you get kind of like the honeymoon phase is what
33:31I would call it. That's AJ Brown with the Patriots this year. Last year that was George Pickkins with the Cowboys.
33:36And DJ Moore is the number one wide receiver attached to Josh Allen in a wideopen receiver room. After him, it's Kosia Cure. It's Dolan Concaid, but it's
33:44nothing that he can't overcome and become the number one option with Josh Allen. Then we have Jameson Williams, who's just been tough to trust. He was
33:51the wide receiver 17 in points per game last year, the wide receiver 23 before that, but again, it's important to note
33:56that he had more points per game in his wide receiver 23 year than his wide receiver 17 year last year. He was the
34:02wide receiver 12 from week nine on. This is when Dan Campbell took over the play calling and Laaporta gets hurt. Before
34:08then he was having a brutal year. Now Drew Petting is the offensive coordinator. Now Sam Laaporta is healthy. So it's really tough. It's
34:16tough to have him higher than like a boom bust wide receiver three for that reason. But this team will score points
34:20and anytime that Alman Ross Brown goes down or Sam Laaporta goes down, all of a sudden these other options become uh
34:27much better and more impactful. So Jameson Williams super efficient player.
34:31It just comes down to how much of a focal point he can be when everybody's healthy. And now with a new play caller,
34:37then we have Mike Evans, wide receiver, 25. It's pretty simple. He's heading into age 33 season coming off an injury
34:48riddled year. Could he be Dust? Could he be Julio Jones on the Titans? Could he join the uh memes of Shaquille O'Neal on
34:55the Nets or Shaquille O'Neal on the Celtics and Kevin Garnett on the Nets?
35:00or is he going to be like pretty much the best the best pure exceer that Kyle Shanahan has had since Julio Jones? I
35:09mean, Brandon Iuk had one really really good year in that role. I I would argue that Mike Evans is a better player than
35:14that in his prime. Who knows if that's what Mike Evans is now, but this could be the honeymoon. This could be he's a
35:20monster for one last year, or this could be Allen Robinson on the Rams. We'll see. It's a boom bust play, but the boom
35:29potential is very much there. Then at Widers for 24, we have Terry McCor, who last year, despite having a dud year, it
35:36it was a brutal year for the offense in general when Jayen Daniels went down, but Terry McCor was kind of rusty off of
35:41the contract, hold out, comes in 2.38 yards per run is a really good number, 13th best in the NFL. He just kind of
35:48was let down by the quarterback play and the environment in general. Now you get David Blau in the mix. Jaden Daniels
35:54healthy heading into year three, new offensive coordinator. David Blau, like I just said, you're improving in terms of the offensive line play. There's a
36:01lot of things going right here. And Terry McLaren finds himself as the only real target here. Then you have Antonio Williams, who I like. You have Chico
36:09Conqual, who I like, but we're not talking about real deal target earners at the NFL level. It really is Terry McLaren in this receiving game. Then at
36:17wide receiver 23, we have Devonte Adams, who to me is really tricky.
36:23He had under 1,000 yards for the first time last year since 2017. He had less than like 900 receiving yards, but he
36:30had 14 touchdowns. So, he was almost like it was a goal line back performance for him where once they got in close, it
36:37was the Devonte Adams show, but it was his least efficient year from a yardage standpoint. It was his lowest yardage year since 2017, but he was still the
36:47wide receiver eight with 15.9 points per game. He is 33 years old. So, I think wide receiver 23 is a good compromise,
36:53right? Wide receiver 8 last year. Age is catching up to him. There's some questionable efficiency metrics last year, but he's still Devonte Adams on
37:00the Rams. So, I'm comfortable with him here. Then at wide receiver 222, we have Jaylen Wadd, who to me is one of the
37:08more underrated true talents in the NFL is how I would describe it. Where we look here and we see where do I have it?
37:20Right here. We have his yards per hour run 2.44 since 2022 over a,200 route span with a 23.7% first read target
37:30share. Everybody ahead of him Puka Nua, Tyreek Hill, AJ Brown, Nico Collins, Amar St. Brown, Jefferson and Lamb. And then it's Waddle in terms of yards per
37:36out run over that span. All of them uh are 27% first read share and above. For Jaylen Wadd, he has been in Tyreek
37:43Hill's shadow, but even with that has made the most of his opportunities and now he gets to be the focal point of a
37:49passing offense. the wide receiver one.
37:51They paid a ton for him. And this could be the first time he flirts with top 12 wide receiver numbers since 2021 2022
37:59for Jaylen Wadd. Then we start to get to our firm wide receiver twos with monster upside in the C tier. And first up we
38:07will talk about Luther Bird and my wide receiver 21. Now this is again similar to Trevian Henderson, a guy that I
38:12really like. I thought I would be higher than consensus on. This is where he gets drafted. He is the wide receiver 21 on
38:16underdog. He is my wide receiver 21.
38:19I really can't get much crazier than this, but I'm not going to be the the guy who is fading him is what I'll say.
38:27Uh, everyone has seen this stat. Rookie, wide receiver, yards per out run seasons with minimum 200 routes. It is OBJ. It
38:33is Burton, AJ Brown, Justin Jefferson, Puganua, and so on. Obviously, it's a little bit flawed when he is on the lower end of that sample size. You have
38:41uh this as well, the rookie receiver report. He crushed last year everything per route, but again, only a 45% route share. wasn't a full-time player, but I
38:50wouldn't take away what he was when he was on the field. He was amazing on the field. Uh it's just can he put it
38:56together over a full route share in a given season. Uh we have this as well where Ben Johnson, if you remember last
39:03year, was like ripping apart uh Luther Burton in a lot of these press conferences early, saying he's not getting the playbook, all of this, and
39:09now he's stepping onto the podium in June and just saying, "I'm buying Luther Burden stock right now." uh he he's just
39:15praising him a ton. So, I just want pieces of this offense. I think Luther Burton has all the breakout potential in
39:23the world. It's priced in, so it's not like I'm leaving every draft to Luther Burton, but wide receiver 21 is where I
39:28think it is a fair price to pay. Uh similar deal with a Mecha Ibuka, player I loved last year, a player I love this
39:35year. Uh through five games, the most PPR points since 1998. I always use 1998 cuz that's Randy Moss and then everything before him is just kind of,
39:43you know, we're talking about the stone age. Since 1998, the most PPR points through a wide receivers's first five games, it is Puka Nakua, it is Randy
39:51Moss, it is Amecha Ibuka, it is Malik Neighbors, it is Jamar Chase. Over his first five games, Amecha Ibuka averaged over 20 plus points per game and then he
39:59finished the entire season 11.5 points per game as the wide receiver 32. And you leave yourself asking what happened?
40:06Well, he also pops up in this Dwayne McFarland article showing these injuries where in week three he had an injury.
40:11Then week seven, then week eight he rushes himself back from these injuries.
40:14And you also have Baker Mayfield picks up injuries during this time. Uh and you can just kind of see he averages 20.1
40:20points per game early on. And then uh he picks up a hamstring issue in week six where he played 64% of the snaps. So
40:26then that bleeds into week seven where he's a part-time player again and then he's just not the same player in a
40:31rotational role once Mike Evans comes back. So, it just became really tough between starting out strong, picking up an injury, playing through injury, then
40:41the receiver room gets healthy, right?
40:42Chris Godwin comes back, Mike Evans comes back. So, then Ibuka is now not running a full route share. And then on
40:48top of that, Baker Mayfield gets banged up where his passing yards per game goes from 244 in weeks 1 through 10 to only
40:55188 in weeks 11 through 18. For example, Bryce Young, uh, I believe his yards per game over the entire season last year
41:01was like 189. So he goes from Baker Mayfield to Bryce Young down the stretch of last season. Just a lot of things
41:07happened, a lot of things went wrong. I think that we are going to see a year or two bounce back for a Mecha Ibuka as the
41:14focal point of this Zack Robinson offense. Uh then at wide receiver 19, this has nothing to do with the talent of Malik Neighbors, right? We just
41:21talked about the five best starts to a wide receivers's career ever. Uh Malik Neighbors is in that list. He is amazing
41:27and through 19 career games, he has 330.7 PPR points. is the only wide receivers to have more through 19 games.
41:34OBJ, Chase, Moss, Jefferson. So, he's in that rare air. It just comes down to his ACL tear. He's seen limping at a charity
41:41game. Uh, you can read this entire blurb if you want, but the most important part from Jeff Mueller is we should still
41:47plan on him starting on the pup as a conservative time frame in general off the ACL, meniscus repair, cyclops removal, which is just insane. I I don't
41:54even know what a cyclops is in terms of anatomy. Uh my guess is he still misses four to six weeks at most with a range
42:01of being active anywhere from weeks one to seven. And it just brings into account of like when is this guy going
42:06to play? When is he going to be himself?
42:08When is he going to run a full route tree? So I'm just kind of treating it as expecting like almost as if he had a
42:15six-game suspension and from like week eight on you can expect a 17 plus points per game. If that was the case, how
42:21would you rank him? I think wide receiver 19 is about the sweet spot for me. I could see myself putting him down
42:27into a spot where I'm not even really drafting him either, though, because it's just a really spooky situation. Uh, if he was fully healthy, he'd be a top
42:33eight wide receiver minimum. But with the ACL injury, that just seems really rough. Uh, that's what where I'll have him for now. Then we will do Tedo
42:41McMillan, wide receiver, 18. He'd be much higher if not for his quarterback.
42:46Uh, he crushed last year in terms of the rookie receiver report. Uh, led the class in points per game. 21.8% target
42:53sprout run. 10% first downs sprout run is ridiculous by the way. Uh 78.7 PFF grade. He was solid across the board
42:59heading into year two. I just don't trust Bryce Young who had a career-high 188.2 passing yards per game last year which was 27th among qualifying
43:08quarterbacks. So there's just not a lot of room. Like even when Bryce Young's having the best year of his career, it's
43:12still bottom 10 in passing volume.
43:14There's just not a lot of room for McMillan to be more than a wide receiver too. That's where he's priced at here. I
43:20just don't know how else we get him to finish higher than like the wide receiver 12. Maybe Bryce Young takes a
43:26step forward. I just would be very skeptical of placing any stake in that.
43:31Then at wide receiver 17, similar to Mike Neighbors, there's like things outside of Rashi Rice's control or I guess different than League Neighbors
43:37are kind of in his control. Uh this like whole jail thing, but he's like he's rehabbing a knee injury in jail. Uh I
43:44think that there there's like some workaround to it, but it's just there's a lot going on here. I I will say when
43:48Rash Rice has played games, every game he has a 19 game sample, uh after the by-week of his rookie season, over those
43:5619 games, he averages 17.6 points per game. That's like a top six wide receiver style number. It's just that he's only played 12 games over the last
44:03two years, right? He tears his ACL uh in 2024 and then last year he serves a suspension, then he gets banged up, now
44:10he's rehabbing this knee injury. I just wonder how long the Chiefs are going to cater their entire offense around a fiveyard AOT Rashi Rice. So, it hasn't
44:19even been effective, right? It's been good for Rashi Rice fantasy-wise, but it hasn't been effective for their offense really. And he's somebody who can't
44:25really stay out of trouble off the field. He's someone who keeps getting banged up. So, I don't know for how much
44:30longer they're going to build their entire offense out of a guy who is unreliable, especially when that offense hasn't been very good uh trying to run
44:38and funnel their offense through Rashi Rice. Uh then at wide receiver we were 16. Huge breakout candidate this year.
44:44Uh someone that I love. Lad McConi down year in year two. Not quite as catastrophic as Brian Thomas, but he goes from wide receiver 16 to wide
44:53receiver 34 in year two. I'm betting on the year three bounceback. Keenan Allen is no longer in the mix, though he could
44:58come back. But this Chargers offensive line is now fully healthy. Those games once Joe Alt went down were brutal for them. And now you get McDaniel who had
45:07two years in Miami when he first got there where Tua had top five numbers in passing yards and passing touchdowns. I
45:13think that we're going to see a monster year from this offense and kind of all facets. I'm very excited for this first
45:19year of Mike McDaniel. And on a individual basis, Lad Mcconi still had it last year. This is from reception perception showing he had the 80th
45:27percentile win rate versus man, 89th vers zone, 90th verse press. Still an elite separator. And I think when you think to uh McDaniel and the receivers
45:35he likes with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Wadd, these smaller, quicker receivers that he's going to work around the formation, I think that that fits Ladman
45:42Conkey's game a ton. It also fits Zay Flower's game a ton who we liked a ton last year. We're going to like him a ton
45:48this year. He's going one of these years he's going to get a spike in touchdowns.
45:52It happens for everybody. Uh we had it trying to think of who got all the touchdowns last year. I mean, you have
45:58McCor in 2024. these touchdowns, they seem to just spike out whenever. Uh I know that's a little bit different when you have Lamar Jackson and Dererick
46:06Henry taking a lot of the goal line looks, but I think that we're going to get one year where Flowers scores. Even
46:10if he could just score like nine or 10 touchdowns, uh he could really crush.
46:13And even with that, last year he was still the wide receiver, 12 in points per game, and still if you extrapolate
46:19the 13 games where he was with Lamar Jackson, you're talking 15.3 points per game. And then on top of that, you had
46:25Lamar Jackson in a year where he was banged up. He wasn't himself. Uh he passed for 200 plus yards each of his
46:31first three games and then only four times in his next 10 games. So it was like Lamar Jackson banged up other
46:36quarterback play and even then on a individual basis Zay Flowers was solid.
46:41He has a career 2.14 yards per out run.
46:44When he's on the field he plays well. Uh there's no more Isaiah likely. He's kind of going to be the top dog in this
46:49offense. Not that Isaiah likely was but we're now fitting the herd a bit for Z Flowers. you get a new offensive
46:55coordinator in here that I think can really feature Z Flowers as the guy. And now we'll talk about my like low-end
47:03wide receiver ones, high-end wide receiver twos. First up will be Garrett Wilson. He had a lost season this year due to a week six knee injury. Before
47:12that, despite having terrible quarterback play, when we look at the Jets last year, ranked 159th of 160 teams over the past five years by total
47:23passing yards. Even with that, even with Justin Fields, Garrett Wilson through week five had 19 points per game as the wide receiver five. Now, he had a lot of
47:32touchdowns there. Was definitely running hot in terms of his touchdown luck, but it just goes to show even in terrible situations, Garrett Wilson has produced.
47:38And I think this year, even though the situation's not great, they're not going to score a ton of points, but this
47:44offensive line is really strong. And Gino Smith at the very worst is not going to pass for bottom 10 over the
47:53last five years. There is going to be a good amount of pass attempts. We have here from Mike Clay. He has them
47:57projected for the 17th most pass attempts, eighth most completions, 21st most yards. That will play. We are talking about a guy in Garrett Wilson
48:03who has been strapped to Zack Wilson, Justin Fields, guys who are bottom five in terms of like passing yards, pass attempt style
48:13quarterbacks. This should at least be league average to just below league average in terms of passing volume, passing efficiency, all of that. He's
48:21going to be the focal point of the offense and that is very exciting for Garrett Wilson. Then we have T. Higgins
48:26at wide receiver 13. He just is what he is at this point. Uh last year he was the wide receiver 13. Before that he was
48:32the wide receiver five. I'm buying the Bengals bounce back. You have Joe Burrow fully healthy. We have seen T. Higgins be a top five receiver even next to
48:41Jamar Chase. within that he is a very nice high floor player when he is healthy. Then we have at wide receiver
48:4712. Dvonte Smith, this is put up or shut up time for Dvonte Smith. There's no AJ Brown. Even with AJ Brown, he's finished
48:52as wide receiver 15 and wide receiver 14 over his entire career. Now he gets to be the top guy. AJ Brown's gone. Can
48:59Dvonte Smith push for 16, 17, 18 plus points per game as the focal point of this offense like AJ Brown did when he
49:07was on the Eagles? The worry here is just still it's going to be a low volume passing offense. You're also going to
49:13get a low percent of your team's touchdowns when you are talking about Jaylen Herz, Saquon Barkley, Tush Push, all of that. But I think that this is
49:21going to be the year that Devonte Smith is going to flirt with wide receiver one numbers. Then we have Chris Ave.
49:28Wide receiver seven points per game last year. It kind of finally all came together for Chris Ave last year. And this offense is just so fun. We talk
49:36about it every time, but again, a ton of plays, super high, uptempo, no huddle.
49:42And we saw last year, Tyler Shuck is a real guy. Last year, in 10 games with Tyler Shuck, Olve averaged about 18
49:49points per game, he was at 14.7 in the games without Shuck. So essentially Spencer Rattler, if Shuck can get better and Olive is going to remain his top
49:57target, then all of a sudden Aave can challenge for 18 plus points per game as like a top six wide receiver in fantasy.
50:04Then we can talk about kind of the new T. Higgins or the new hot T. Higgins.
50:08That'll be George Pickkins. And I say that just as the most premium wide receiver too in the game, right? You have CD Lamb number one, Pickkins number
50:16two. Last year though, he was the wide receiver five with points with 17.2 points per game. He was ninth in first
50:24downs per out run. He was ninth in yards per run. He was everything you could have asked for from his time on the Cowboys. But I will
50:33say I I would just push back on the idea that he is better than CD Lamb or projects better than CD Lamb. Uh he was
50:40at 24.2 points per game in the four games that CD Lamb played under 10 snaps at 14.9 for the rest of them. Ian Hardit
50:47outlines it further below. It's just that when they played together, George Pickins was definitely the 1B to CD Lamb's 1A, but I think there's going to
50:54be plenty of passing volume with Dak Prescott, plenty of passing touchdowns, passing yards, all of that for them both to finish as wide receiver ones this
51:01season. Then my last wide receiver in this tier is Nico Collins wide receiver 9. Everyone from here on Nico Collins and forward was covered in my top 24
51:12overall rankings video from a couple weeks ago. So it's just going to be pretty much the cliffnotee versions of these players. If you want the in-depth
51:17analysis on them, you can check out that video. But Nico Collins, uh, he was the wide receiver 11 in yards per run last
51:24year. The question is always, can he stay healthy? And can CJ Strad live up to what he was as a rookie? If injury,
51:31touchdown luck, and CJ Strad all kind of mesh together, we could see a Nico Collins monster season. Then we have a
51:38tier, which are your I would call these like mid like solid wide receiver ones.
51:44You have AJ Brown. Uh his touchdown upside was always capped on the Eagles with the Tush Push, with Jaylen Herz, with Saquon Barkley. And now you have
51:52Drake May who was pretty much the MVP last year. And yes, I will say the Patriots had just five pass attempts
52:00less than the Eagles, but they were playing pretty much with a lead the entire season. Now they have the 12th easiest
52:09schedule instead of the first easiest schedule and they were still sixth in pass rate in neutral situation. So there will be more passing volume, passing
52:14touchdown, passing yards and AJ Brown will be the focal point. I think that this is going to be very similar to like
52:20George Pickkins last year where you get these D.Va wide receivers and it's the honeymoon phase and everything is all good. Stfan Diggs with the Bills uh back
52:26in I think that that was 2020 two 2021 regardless Diggs in his first year with Josh Allen was a 20 plus point
52:34per game uh monster wide receiver season. I think we could see that for AJ Brown. Then we have at wide receiver 7
52:41Drake London. People forget before his PCL injury, similar to rookie Persaw, uh he was at 19.7 points per game through 10 weeks behind just JSN and then he was
52:52between I believe Puka and Chase in points per game. He was a monster. Uh it is Pitts and then it's Zachariah Branch,
52:58Jan Dodson, Olakius.
53:01Uh new play caller of course with Tommy Reese and Kevin Stfansky, new quarterback with Tua and then maybe it's going to be Michael Penn. a lot of
53:09different variables, but Drake London last year showed he does have that elite ceiling. Then we talk about the wide receiver one in Dallas. We have Cidil
53:16Lamb who last year he had injuries, right, where he had a high ankle sprain after his first three games. He had 100
53:21yards in all of his games before the ankle injury. Then you had Pickkins kind of step up. Lamb working back from the
53:27injury and he finishes as just 16.6 points per game. Only three touchdowns on the year. Uh but the three previous years he was the wide receiver seven,
53:35the wide receiver one, and the wide receiver seven. Dallas is projected for a ton of passing yards, a ton of touchdowns. I think that Lamb will have
53:42a bounceback year here. Then we have Jefferson.
53:45Brutal, brutal year last year, bogged down by JJ McCarthy. But now you get Kyler, who isn't going to be the best
53:51quarterback in the world, but the last time he played a full season in 2024. He was eighth in success rate, ninth in
53:56QBR, 13th in EPA per play, 14th in passing yards per game. If we can just be league average, I believe that
54:02Jefferson still has the talent to be a top five wide receiver in fantasy. Then you have Aman Rosen Brown, who's honestly just a blue chip stock at this
54:10point. He's been a top six wide receiver in points per game over the last three years. This offense always scores points. He has the rapport with Jared
54:16Goff. There's not much else to say. And then we have S tier. These are guys that are challenging for the wide receiver
54:21one overall. You have the reigning offensive player of the year, superstar JSN, 21 points per game last year. Sam Darnold is still there. There's really
54:29not any other competition. It just comes down to there's a new play caller.
54:33There's no more Clint Kubak. Could there be a Super Bowl hangover similar to what the Eagles had last year? But for now,
54:38JSN is a locked in stud. Then at wide receiver 2, you have Puka Nakua who over the last three seasons has been the wide
54:45receiver six, the wide receiver two, the wide receiver one. Last year is 23.4 points game was behind only Christian McCaffrey. Uh he is awesome. And then
54:54you have Jamar Chase. I just like the high floor when he plays with Joe Burrow. He is amazing. Over the last two
54:59seasons in games with Joe Burrow, his pace is 129 catches, 1,600 yards, and 14 touchdowns. If Burrow is healthy, Jamar Chase is scoring 20 plus points per game
55:09with league winning upside on his own.
55:13But that is going to do it for us today.
55:14That's my top 50 wide receivers. You can see it right here. Again, if you want access to the rankings, they are fresh
