Davante Adams

NegativeUsage0:43

0:00Take a deep breath on any wide receiver
0:02who has been good to this point and then
0:04disappointed, right? This is from Data
0:05Rama here, a really good account.
0:07Something that happens usually in weekly
0:08in fantasy is the overreaction. Is it
0:10over? Have Have the defenses figured out
0:11Parker Washington? Is it all done? It's
0:13not all over. It's going to be fine.
0:15Wide receivers are very up and down.
0:17Don't fall victim to weeks of minimal
0:18usage. It's just one wide receiver had
0:20five plus targets in every game last
0:21year. Only a handful more did so in 75%
0:23plus of their games. JSN's 12 PPR
0:25points. Like don't go crazy. The Packers
0:27wide receivers, Matthew Golden and
0:28Christian Watson, their first down
0:30weeks. I wouldn't go crazy there.
0:31Garrett Wilson, wouldn't freak out about
0:32him either. Yes, the Jets ran a
0:34hilariously low amount of plays. They
0:35should bounce back to a normal range in
0:37terms of plays ran and pass attempts and
0:39all of that. Garrett Wilson has been a
0:40high-end wide receiver two to this
0:42point. Now, the guys I'd feel a bit more
0:43shaky on. Davante Adams is one of them.
0:45He has 20 plus PPR points in every game
0:47without Puka. He has under 10 PPR points
0:49in every game with Puka. That is a bit
0:51of an issue. We'll see if this trend
0:52continues, but he definitely gets
0:53downgraded in any game that Puka plays.
0:56We love Josh Downs. We want him to be
0:57awesome, but he's probably not the
0:59locked and loaded wide receiver two that
1:01we're all wishing him to be. Colts are
1:02without Alec Pierce. No Keenan Allen in
1:04this game. It seems like it's going to
1:05be Josh Downs. It's going to be Tyler
1:07Warren. And it's just going to be
1:09completely wheels up. And instead, it
1:10was like his worst game without Alec
1:12Pierce. Now, you can say it was a little
1:13bit wonky in a London game. He's coming
1:15off of a nine-target game and an
1:1611-target game, but still, neither of
1:18those games he went over 15 PPR points.
1:20So, now we're sitting here after four
1:21targets for three catches, 16 [music]
1:22yards. Josh Downs is probably just a PPR
1:26machine wide receiver three and nothing
1:28more than that.
