0:01What's going on, man? Welcome back to the basement. I'm Ron and we are drafting from the 104 yet again. I know
0:11uh we have had a lot of talk on the channel about my draft position, me always picking in the back half of the
0:18draft, but I'm actually going to show you guys this here in a second. My most popular draft position so far has
0:25actually been the 104. And it's just insane how this is playing out. But I am happy to be here. We are streaming every
0:33day through week one kickoff. Of course, it is September 3rd. I'm starting to lose my my August powers, but we are
0:43here to draft another baseball mania draft on underdog.

1:17should have about 37 teams across each pick. Now, it's obviously not always going to be perfect, but here's where we're at. We are short. We We should
1:24have 10 more Jir Gibbs teams than we do.
1:27We have We just pulled another 104. Look at this, man. 57. We have We have 20 more 104s than we should have, and we
1:36just stacked on a 58th. Um, so, uh, the story of this season for me is just like unbelievable luck when it
1:46comes to draft slot. I don't know what's going on. I I don't know who is pulling the strings on the back end of my
1:51fantasy football luck this year, but here we are.
1:56Puka better be the guy cuz 104 I'm taking a lot of Puka. I'm taking a lot of Jamar Chase. Um, what else was I
2:03yapping about here?
2:06But yeah, 104 is like one of my least favorite pick spots to pick from. I mean, it's just it's unbelievable.

2:15Like the fantasy football gods are making me pray on Jamir Gibbs downfall and and I don't want that. I don't want
2:21to pray on Jir Gibbs downfall. I want to have Jamir Gibbs on my teams and be excited about it.

3:28Things are dragging on this summer because of the late Labor Day. So views are going down, all of that. Swift seems
3:34to be absolutely fine. I mean, I'll pull it up here, but I'm not I'm not budging on Swift or Roman Dunes. They both leave
3:39practice early today, and they both seem to be absolutely fine. Um, I I will say I have him as a thumbnail cuz I assume
3:45people will want to hear me talk about them, but there's not really a ton to talk about when it comes to either of
3:51them. I'll pull up the Adam Sheper report. It seems to be a nothing burger.
3:55There's maybe a 5% chance in my heart of hearts that uh maybe the Bears are lying and like Swift has a damn hernia they
4:02don't want us to think about. Uh but let's do this pick at the 209. Would love Genty.

4:53and have some fun here. Uh, but yeah, here's the report I was talking about with Swift. Uh, left Thursday's practice was said it was uh significant
5:01discomfort. Said to be experiencing a cramp. So, uh, nothing crazy here, man.
5:06Just a cramp. Uh, we'll see. Like I said, there's like maybe a 5% chance that they're downplaying it and the guy
5:12has like a damn hernia, but like outside of that, like hernia/ like abdominal strain, but outside of that, um I I
5:20would be shocked that uh Swift like misses week one or like anything serious happens.
5:26All right, let's take Bree. This is always the plan. When we miss a running back in round one or two, give me Bree
5:32or Jeremiah Love in round three, and we will build from there.
5:36Oh yeah, we we've moved up Genty uh today up to 20. I I essentially have Genty now with this bunch of running
5:43backs. I have him as the last in this tier. I think like this is what we've been talking about all summer is that I
5:47just think it's a sprint to, you know, draft from, you know, Gibbs through Genty and then there's a really big tier
5:54break. Uh I still like Bree and Jeremiah Love where you can get them, but still really big tier break from Genty to Love
6:01and Bree. So I think that it's really an arms race. You know, you can take your AJ Brown here if you already took a
6:07running back in round one. You take your Hampton. I think uh Bowowers over Genty is a mistake here. Even as much as I
6:12love Genty, just structurally if you take a wide receiver here. Uh so it should be a race. You take your Genty
6:17here. Uh and then that's it. Everyone else on especially the three and four spot, whoever took Jason Puka, they now have to scramble a little bit. You end
6:25up with Javvante and Kairen RB1 and RB2.
6:27Hate it. Uh, Nico and Bree Hall, I don't mind it, but it's still it's not as comfy as Puka Genty Bree, I'll tell you
6:34that. But we're going to move and shake.
6:36We're going to figure this thing out.
6:38Uh, the one thing I will say about if you do end up in this spot where you take Puka, you take Nico, you take Bree
6:43Hall, the four five turn is set up in a way this year where you're going to have a running back you like here, whether
6:49that is uh Swift or Scatabo or Bucky or two inner Jaren Price. You can go Puka.
6:57I mean, we did it the other night, I think, of like Puka Bowers. You go Puka Bowers, let's say like a Nico or like a
7:02receiver falls to you, you can't say no to. Uh, you can always double tap four, five. I mean, you you are trailblazing
7:08into the dead zone, but we've seen guys come out of the dead zone before and in theory, you'd have a really strong wide
7:14receiver duo and a tight end. Uh, so there's there, you know, there's there's plenty of ways to skin a cat here.
7:26It's it's been a lot of that this year, man. It's been a lot of that this year.
7:30Um it's been it's been a brutal draft season for me. I don't know. Like every guy I want gets sniped. Uh but I don't
7:36know, man. Sometimes I look back on some of the drafts we do in a given season and it's like, "Oh, I got sniped here on
7:41a guy that sucked anyways." And I don't know, things find them find a way to work themselves out. We're just going to
7:46keep drafting good teams and see how things play out.
7:54Still not sold on Genty being good to go. I I've removed my tinfoil cat and or cap um tinfoil hat, whatever the hell
8:01you want to call it. And I've started moving towards I think Genty probably plays week one and it's not as big of a
8:07deal as it was made to be.
8:11But still just a shocking shocking turn of events when it was first uh reported on.
8:19Wow. Lovelin went. Yeah, Lovelin goes 405 here. We have Bree. So, we got to decide if we want to take a wide
8:27receiver here or let the running backs come back to us. We're going to take a receiver here because I do have a tier
8:32break between Burden and the next best receiver. So, we'll take Burden and we will just take whatever running back falls back.
8:46Yeah, exactly. If I'm going to take a running back in round three, it's Bree or Jeremiah Love who I like. But like
8:51100% the difference between Love, Javvante, Bree, Kiran to your like Swift and ETN here in the in the mid to
9:00late fourth isn't very far.

10:42But I'm honestly never going to be mad about taking Parker Washington. Uh, would you rather keep Kenneth Walker in the fourth or in the seventh?
10:50Honestly, in a 10TR, probably Olve in the seventh if you feel like you can get one of the top 12 running backs in your
10:58first two picks, which I think in a 10TEr you're damn near guaranteed that.

26:50We don't know if he's good or not. But like there's certainly some Zamir White downside of like, yeah, we don't know if
26:57he's good or not. He could suck. Um he could suck and kind of really screw up your team.
27:06Uh, but we're going to take Schultz here.
27:11But there's also a chance that heading into year three, like he's a legitimate year three breakout candidate. Instead of Zamir White on a terrible Raiders
27:17team, he's on a Matt Laflur Green Bay Packers offense that is always really good. So, it's really tricky. But what I I'd say
27:29like cuz everyone's like, "Oh, go out there and sell high." I don't know that you can sell high, but what I'll say I
27:33I'll say if you have a hero RB build where you are looking for RB2 production and you got gifted Marshon Lloyd, just
27:39run it. Just use Marshon Lloyd in your RB2 spot, you have solved your problem.
27:43But if you double tapped running back up top or even like your RB2 is like DeAndre Swift or better, one of those
27:49types and it's not quite a hero RB build, that's when it's like, okay, Marshon Lloyd is never is isn't cracking my lineup in week one. Like if Marshon
27:56Lloyd isn't cracking your lineup, then I would sell him. That's what I would say say. If he is cracking your lineup, then
28:02just use him. That's what I would say.
28:08Yeah. What's with the obsession of one of the best backs in the league, who is one of the only running backs
28:13that has ever touched 75 plus receptions in a given season.

28:51I I would say if anything, it's like more impressive that like he has such little tread on his tires and got

29:22Bree. I have them legitimately back toback 26th and 27th. It kind of depends on where my running back room is at uh
29:28when I'm making that decision there.
29:29Let's go Jaylen McMillan. That's perfect. That was debating between McMillan and Schultz last time I was on the clock. We got to figure out how
29:35we're going to land this plane. I think we might just cut it off at six receivers. Man, I don't know if that's
