Insight page

Ben Sinnott

PositiveValue37:06

Ron Stewart identifies Ben Sinnott as a fun draft pick and notes he wants more exposure to the player, currently holding only 7% ownership.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeValue35:51

Ron Stewart recommends drafting Bijan Robinson in the first round, suggesting that drafters can trust his value and still find quality wide receivers later in standard league formats. He notes that while top-tier backs like Robinson carry inherent injury risk, he is also a common keeper league asset.

Insight page

PositiveValue4:09

Ron Stewart identifies Breece Hall as an 'absolutely golden' target at the 311 spot and prefers him over Javonte Williams in his draft rankings.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

NegativeValue36:51

Ron Stewart expresses interest in Brenton Strange but decides against drafting him because he does not want to reach for the player at his current draft position.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

PositiveBreakout15:43

Ron Stewart is increasingly high on Brian Thomas Jr., citing his dominant rookie per-route metrics and college production as a 'one-of-one' profile. While Stewart acknowledges concerns about him potentially being a 'field-stretching decoy'—with target competition from Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, and Travis Hunter, plus performance splits with Mac Jones versus Trevor Lawrence—he ultimately drafted Thomas as a stack with Lawrence, calling the construction 'super clean.'

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue14:55

In tight end premium formats, Ron Stewart ranks Brock Bowers immediately following his top-tier group of Jahmyr Gibbs, Bijan Robinson, Ja'Marr Chase, and Puka Nacua; however, Stewart notes that he personally avoids drafting a double-Raiders stack.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveValue25:34

Ron Stewart targets Bryce Young as a quarterback option to complete a stack for his roster, noting he is a viable target for roster construction.

Insight page

Cam Akers

NegativeInjury25:16

Ron Stewart notes a report that Cam Akers was seen limping in practice, though he suggests the injury is likely minor and not a major concern.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

PositiveValue1:54

Ron Stewart identifies CeeDee Lamb as a primary draft target, stating he would select Lamb if he were available at his draft position.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue4:02

Ron Stewart lists Chase Brown as a potential running back option to target after securing a top-tier wide receiver.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeInjury13:46

Ron Stewart expresses concern over Chris Olave's blood clot issue, labeling it a real-deal problem; while acknowledging the player's talent, Stewart believes Olave is currently priced at his ceiling and has consequently lowered him in his rankings.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeUsage28:27

Ron Stewart dismisses concerns about Chris Rodriguez Jr. receiving goal-line carries in practice, arguing that practice reports are not indicative of regular-season roles.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveSleeper16:22

Ron Stewart identifies Christian Watson as a key target, selecting him in drafts and citing his inclusion in recent breakout research. Watson is viewed as a versatile, horizontal-route-running threat rather than a pure deep-decoy, and Stewart ranks him in a mini-tier slightly ahead of peers like Rome Odunze, Parker Washington, Brian Thomas Jr., and Marvin Harrison Jr.

Insight page

Cooper Kupp

NegativeUsage33:32

Cooper Kupp was selected primarily for his Week 17 correlation with Bryce Young, despite the source lacking a strong personal preference for the player.

PositiveValue36:47

Ron Stewart selects Dallas Goedert as a target for his roster during the draft process.

Insight page

George Pickens

PositiveValue5:01

Ron Stewart views George Pickens as a talented receiver with untapped potential who wins in ways similar to top NFL receivers, specifically noting his production out of the slot and on horizontally breaking routes. While Stewart values him around the 2.12 turn, he suggests Luke Musgrave at the 3.12 might offer better relative value.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

NegativeProjection5:01

Ron Stewart views Ja'Marr Chase as a high-caliber player, noting that CeeDee Lamb is not in the same tier. Stewart advises that taking Chase at the 1.02 is a sound strategy, as it allows the drafter to pivot to running backs in the late second round, particularly in standard home league formats with limited wide receiver starting requirements.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

NegativeInjury4:09

Ron Stewart identifies Jahmyr Gibbs as an 'absolutely golden' target at the 311 spot, but warns that elite running backs like Gibbs carry inherent injury risk and could miss significant time during the season.

Insight page

Jakobi Meyers

Ron Stewart confirms he has not drafted Jalen Nailor.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveProjection3:24

Ron Stewart views James Cook as a defining player for the season; while acknowledging his high-floor/low-ceiling reputation, Stewart believes Cook could reach 21 points per game and finish as the RB2 if he secures 50 receptions.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveUsage16:22

Ron Stewart views Jameson Williams as a special player after the catch, using him as a positive benchmark for the type of versatile, horizontal-route-running usage he hopes to see from receivers like Brian Thomas Jr., rather than them being relegated to pure field-stretching roles.

Ron Stewart acknowledges Jauan Jennings as a draft option but states he is not bought in and never takes the player.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeBust4:17

Ron Stewart is not a fan of Javonte Williams, consistently grouping him in a tier of running backs he prefers to avoid at the 3.11 draft spot. Stewart notes he is hesitant to draft him due to injury reports and ranks Breece Hall ahead of him. Despite this, Stewart acknowledges Williams has year-two upside with the Raiders, noting it is easy to see him reaching 19-20+ points per game.

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

NegativeInjury11:39

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveUsage16:43

Ron Stewart defends the hype surrounding Parker Washington, noting he was 'amazing' last year and is expected to command a full route share. Stewart argues the Jaguars' offense performed best when the passing game ran through him, though this creates target competition for teammates like Brian Thomas Jr.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeBust49:11

Ron Stewart expresses significant concern regarding Rashee Rice, citing both his real-life performance limitations as a receiver and reports of his knee not looking right during practice, questioning the team's ability to continue funneling the offense through him, especially given that the offense has not looked right since 2022.

0:02What's going on, man? Welcome back to the basement. I'm Ron and we are here today to draft over on Underdog a
0:12baseball mania draft. $25.
0:15Of course, we're waiting for four people to join up.
0:20If you are new to Underdog Fantasy, make sure you check it out. Use promo code Ron, not whatever this is. Use promo
0:27code Ron.
0:29Trying to find where I have the graphic at. Uh, and when you play $5, you get $50 in sight.
0:36Credits. I have a link in the description comment section. Pinned in the live chat right now. This is filling up as we go. How is everybody doing?
0:44Who's in the chat on this glorious Friday evening? We're here a little bit later. I honestly wasn't planning to go
0:52this late, but things happen. Things happen. You post a video, you eat some dinner, you get some stuff figured out. Um, but
1:03we're here now. Ready to roll. Uh, who's in the chat? Let me pull up the chat here on the side. Who's in here on a
1:10Friday night?
1:12Why not, man? It's August. It's Friday night. Sure people are, you know, those of you that aren't doing anything, just hanging out. What's going on? Uh, let's
1:22get a draft board up. We get the 11 spot here. If I was a pro at this, I I would have joined before
1:30uh clicking go live, but it's all good.
1:32Let me know if any of you guys are in this draft. Let me know. I'm always curious.
1:38The king of double tapping wider. Dude, I'm sick of these 111s, bro. We've been getting the 111 in uh high stakes. We're
1:45getting it in this underdog draft. Like, come on, bro.
1:50Yeah, the king of double tap and receiver here. We'll see if I mean if if Lamb and Jefferson get back to me here,
1:54I'll take it. You're in at the 109. We got Frank Malazo here, OG of the channel, Cole Pearson in here. What's
2:00going on? What's going on? We got General John. I see. I see. We got Olli Freedelland. What is What the hell is
2:07going on in that profile picture? You playing water polo?
2:12What the hell?
2:14What level of water polo is that, sir?
2:18You playing college hoops? College water polo?
2:22I'm not sure what the acronym means. Uh, thoughts on new Spider-Man. Come on, man. Come on, dude. Come on, dude.
2:30Right now, my life is wake up sometimes, gym, come back, make sure the draft guide is
2:41good to go, send revisions over to my web designer, outline the video, lunch, record,
2:50try and get the video up. If I don't keep working and then we stream when we're all done, reset the next day,
2:59there is no Spider-Man.
3:01But there's nothing else I'd rather be doing. I got to be honest, today uh today I was feeling it more than usual
3:05that I am just I am excited for football to get here, man. I am excited. Sitting here outlining stuff, starting to get
3:12really excited about some player takes, some players I want in my teams.
3:16It's crazy. We're still we're still over a month away from week one kickoff. like the uh September 9th date. Uh give me
3:24James Cook here. Why not? Why not? Give me James Cook. We go Jefferson. James Cook. Nothing weird off the bat. 109
3:30Genty's a little bit early, but outside of that, nothing weird happens. Lamb here, we take Jefferson at 111 just knowing one of these running backs will
3:37come back. And now I guess we have kind of a hero wide receiver start uh with Jefferson.
3:42That's kind of the interesting part is I do think like I I'll probably do I'd say early next week you can expect a double
3:49hero RB strategy video because I do think it's probably the if you're going to if you're going to commit to a firm
3:55strategy it should be double hero RB but I think in more casual leagues it's more palatable to me where you can go
4:02Jefferson and then say James Cook comes back but even if not let's say it's Kenneth Walker Hampton Chase Brown whoever your flavor is if you can get
4:09Jeremiah Love or Breece Hall to get back to this 311 spot that is absolutely golden. But where I start to get into
4:14some trouble is at the 311.
4:17I'm not a fan of like the Kairen Javvante uh Scatabo like ETN tier. It's just not for me.
4:26It's just not for me.
4:29Late bird gets the mock. What's going on? Kobe Young, get out of here. Get out of here with that. What else are What
4:35else there to do? That's what I'm saying, man. Caught the beginning of the draft. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Touch a gap
4:40between Pickkins and Higgins.
4:42Um, it's a great question. It's a great question. It's one that I brought up.
4:48Uh, I I had a video earlier this off seasonason talking about uh Teiggan is like a mustdraft player for me. I mean,
4:52we drafted him last night in the high stakes draft. So, I'm honestly right there with you. Uh, here's what I'll say. It's that Pickkins
5:01is maybe a more talented receiver with untapped potential and then CD Lamb is not the same caliber of player of Jamar
5:08Chase. That's really the disconnect and why even though I think the gap should be closer than ADP says, I think that it
5:13is correct that George Pickins is probably about around more expensive. I think what Pickkins doesn't get enough credit on is like last year out of the
5:21slot and on like horizontally breaking routes. So, not just like strictly X-wide receiver stuff, he was winning in the really interesting ways that you
5:27know the top dogs in the NFL does or do.
5:30Uh, so I I wouldn't discount that.
5:35Cutting a few manage leagues this year.
5:38I hear you. Drafting from the 108. Hell yeah. So we got the 108 in here. We got the 109 in here. We back. What's going
5:42on? Who are the new members of your league mates?
5:46Uh Nerd Sesh is getting a team. So that'll be uh Carson and Logan. They're awesome. Uh and then Icy Vert. I think
5:53that's it.
5:55I think that's it. I think it's just I think it's just two. Yeah, just two teams left over.
6:01We got Rich here. High school water polo. What the What? What high school you go to that has water polo?
6:10I'm gonna guess northeast or west coast off the top of my head here. Nothing too crazy. It seems like Malak Neighbors is
6:17now just going to be a guy who goes to the two three turn. Great video today.
6:20Thank you, man. Thank you.
6:22How we doing? We're doing good. We're doing good.
6:26Basically from New York, bro. It's August, man. It's August.
6:33basically from New York, so I should like uh Man, maybe we'll do the Kirn thing, huh?
6:39Oh, I don't even I don't like Kairen, bro. I don't like Kairen, but there's not like a crazy good receiver value
6:45here, so let's do it. Let's do it. I was talking about it up top. We've been very wide receiver heavy uh the past few
6:53streams, so why not why not do the the double hero that we sort of were hinting at.
6:59And then we still get uh Are we spooked on Waddle yet?
7:08I'm gonna take Burden because we talked about him today. Let's pull up Burden to the spot. Let's Let's have some fun,
7:13fellas. What do you guys think? Let's have some fun. We talked about Burden today. Why not push him up to the 402?
7:17You're so Luther pilled me too, man. I'm afraid it's be my downfall. Yo, chill.
7:22Chill, bro. We got Daniel Cook in here.
7:24Carson back in the 20. Oh, come on. We nervous about Iuka with the Baker stuff.
7:28What? Dude, Baker has always played his best when he's getting disrespected and like backed against the wall. Dude, I I kind of like it. What's up, Finally
7:35Catching Live? What's going on? Thoughts on Shuck. I like Shuck. I like Shuck.
7:39He's got some potential. Lave Downs is on on all my teams. I'm not as into a this year from Miami. Respect. My team is the uh
7:52Are you asking like my real life team?
7:55The Jets?
7:57Ronald? Yeah, they had my they had my damn uh they had my damn government ID name.
8:04It's weird to say out loud, but I sometimes forget. I don't know any of you guys out there that have like a a
8:09first name that nobody calls you.
8:13Like outside of my mom, no one is calling me Ronald. Unless like unless I'm somewhere like federal.
8:21Unless I'm at like the DMV and they got like my [ __ ] ID, you know?
8:26Dude, I think there's a real I don't know. Let me let me see. But dude, Jeff Mueller has been talking about it, but
8:32this this blood clot thing is like a real deal issue. I think Jordan Tyson has some monster upside in the offense.
8:42Like I This is what I'm trying to say. I think Olive is good, but I think he's probably priced near his ceiling right
8:48now. I guess not. Well, he finished like the wide receiver six last year, getting him as like wide receiver 15.
8:55Where do you take Bowers and Titan Premium? Uh, I get this question all the time, but where you take Bowers and
8:59Titan Premium is after the top four.
9:01Essentially, any order of Gibbs, Bejon, Chase, Puka, and then for me, Bowowers is right here.
9:09Olaf got a blood clot.
9:12Essentially, look, this is where we put the Tinfall hat on. But, uh, a Twitter doctor that I like, a Twitter injury
9:17analyst, let me not be disrespectful here, uh, essentially said like with the blood clot thing, like he's going to be fine,
9:25but, uh, there's a chance that like his conditioning and stuff is pretty bad because of it and an issue and like when
9:31we're splitting hairs because all these receivers are awesome is is essentially what I'm saying. Like is cool, but like so is Burden, Ted, Wadd, Garrett Wilson.
9:39So, I have him, but to be honest with you, this is a really fair Olve price is what I'll say. That's like where I have
9:44him ranked. But early in the offseason, he was going here. Now that he's no longer going at the two-3 turn, I'm
9:49moving him down.
9:51See, finally the Jaguars wide receiver one in your thumbnail. Dude, I I put I moved up Parker pass Brian Thomas, but I
9:58might change it back. I might change it back.
10:03Damn. It might have been it might have been a mistake to double tap the running back because I would love to do Price
10:07here though. I did see a tweet that Price was like banged up. But let's take Christian Watson. Let's do we mentioned
10:13Christian Watson and Luther Burton in today's video.
10:17Olave over neighbors and Rashi Goscoli.
10:20Bro, you might be out of your damn mind.
10:26Jarian Price Dun is a great pick at that turn.
10:31Thing wants us to take pew.
10:40I don't know why.
10:42All right, let's do it. It's on the thumbnail. Let's do it. He's on the thumbnail.
10:46So far, fellas, we have drafted from the 11 spot. We went Jefferson, James Cook, Kairen, Burden, Christian Watson, Pwash in the flex. Here we go. Parker Faders
10:58going to need a binky this year.
11:00Honestly, I'm just kind of evenly distri I'm kind of just hedging that bet. I I I don't know, dude. I was looking at it
11:05today when I was doing some research for the breakouts and I started really liking what I was seeing from Brian Thomas' numbers. Like
11:13I don't know.
11:15I think there's a chance that the route shares get a little bit sticky, but I do think that they're going to score enough
11:19points and have enough passing volume that it's not going to matter a ton.
11:23Neighbors come back player of the year.
11:24I could see it. Brian Thomas easily the Jaguars wide receiver won. It's really tough to say, man. It's really tough to
11:30say.
11:33Uh, where is my Washington ranking? I think it was on the screen. It was on the screen if you go back, but I want to
11:39say um like 62, something like that.
11:44Essentially, like he he's in a tier of receivers for me where it's it's Tate.
11:48It's I I have Watson pretty comfortably like almost like a mini tier ahead, but then it's like Tate, Odun, Pwash, Brian
11:54Thomas, Marvin, Tyson, and you can rank those guys as as in whatever order you want is what I'll say. Parker's overhyped. Ah, see I can't
12:04buy that either. Like I I I do think that the hype is warranted. I think it's warranted. He had a long stretch. Like
12:10the Jaguars are playing their best ball when their offense their at least their offense through the air ran through Parker Washington.
12:18BTJ being this year's JSN.
12:23I don't know. I I wouldn't say that J or um the thing about Brian Thomas is like he's he is a oneofone profile. Uh, it is
12:33very rare that you ever see somebody as dominant as he was as a rookie come crashing down. I would love to be like
12:44I I honestly wish that there was better reporting on whatever his injury was. I mean, he claims like he wasn't healthy
12:49and like now he's healthy. I can maybe buy it. Can he hit another gear? This is somebody that was like an awesome
12:55prospect next to Malik Neighbors.
12:58I think there's even room for him to kind of be what he was in college, dude, where he he scored people forget he
13:03scored 17 touchdowns in Malik Neighbor's uh Blitnikov season. Did he win Blitnikov there? Uh I'm I'm high on Garrett. I'll say in half PPR I've been
13:13cooling off a little bit is is my take.
13:16But uh yeah, I still have Garrett Wilson fairly high.
13:22Kind of late. What made you go Kirn?
13:23Just wanted to change it up to be honest.
13:26I kind of was just messing around with the idea of going uh you know like an anchor Jefferson and then double hero RB
13:32on the back end.
13:35See I don't see here's the thing man like there was and Matt Harmon's harped on this like there was once upon a time
13:40where we like we were uh like praying for our breakout candidate to be the exceiver. And I think an old school
13:49quarterback or not like old school quarterback in Trevor Lawrence, but you know, like a downfield, I wouldn't call him gunslinger, but he's going to push
13:56the ball downfield.
13:59I think there is some opportunity there for things to cross. But then like I I I am fully aware of like
14:07should we do Trevor Lawrence?
14:10Trevor Lawrence to pew here. Yeah, let's do that. Let's do that. And if Brooks comes back, I'll have a hard time
14:16turning him down. I think for me it's Leapora or Brooks.
14:25Like we should probably take a tight end, but I kind of want to take Brooks.
14:35No, let's take Brooks.
14:38Super chat with no with no body text.
14:41What's going on? I'm sure I'm sure he'll follow up with something. Two flex. You loading up wide receiver running back for me. Wide receiver, but it depends if
14:48it's like full PPR or half PPR. Jonathan Brooks at 2025. Basel two and get out of here. Take a lap. Take a lap.
14:57Love this build.
14:59What build? Just kind Oh, um, round one receiver and then double tap running back. I like it too, but not on
15:06this side of the board is kind of my biggest issue. I'm just not a fan of Kairen Javvante. Like I know I took him
15:12here just to like mess around and see how it felt.
15:16Pause.
15:25As a Jags fan, I feel like Brian Thomas Jr. wasn't a smart player that lacked little effort.
15:29Yeah, I think like I I don't know. I think it's like part of that he has some like concentration issues. He was kind
15:34of soft over the middle of the field, but I also do think that I I think trying to think of like a decent comp for him.
15:43It's tough with Brian Thomas because we had like aspirations of this guy being a perennial wide receiver one last year and now like recalibrating those
15:50expectations, but it's like what if it was just like one down year with like some some tough injuries and then he
15:55bounces back.
15:59Like I could see him and PE both paying off, but it would hard it'd be hard to see. I think they could both pay off,
16:05but I think it'd be really tough for them to both like smash, if that makes sense.
16:12It's tough. On one hand, Brian Thomas, his rookie year per route stuff was amazing. His proc profile was pretty solid, but there is the downside of like, is he
16:22just going to be a field stretching decoy or is he going to have like sort of like what Christian Watson and
16:27Jameson Williams are, right? like less of the Alec Pierce tree, more of the Jameson Williams, Christian Watson where you're getting more horizontal stuff and
16:34uh getting to play real wide receiver, which I think, you know, he earned that in year one. Uh but then you can also
16:39look at like well his splits with Trevor Lawrence versus M. Jones isn't good. And then you can look at like Parker
16:44Washington came in last year and was amazing and now he's going to probably get a full route share. And then how
16:48does like Travis Hunter and Jacobe Myers work into this? How does them drafting a tight end in the second round that's
16:54going to like block or whatever? like who who's going to be out there in two wide receiver sets? And then we're also
16:59getting talk that Travis Hunter might be playing some ex- wide receiver here, which wouldn't take Parker Washington off the field. It would probably take
17:04Brian Thomas off the field.
17:08So things start to get a little little tough. I don't know. But I also think I would be hesitant to call Brian Thomas a
17:14decoy because he he was like the vertical exceiver in college uh when it was Jaden Daniels, Malik Neighbors, and Brian Thomas. and Brian Thomas even and
17:24I know we're talking college, but I think it's still worth noting that like Jamar Chase was the ex- receiver uh with
17:30Justin Jefferson in college.
17:36I would just be hesitant to be like, "Oh, well, he's just going to like run win sprints or whatever."
17:48I guess we'll No, we're going to go Kyler here, actually.
17:53We're gonna go Kyler.
17:56We really need a tight end. Getting sniped on pits here sucks.
18:08Damn. And then we could take We might just take George.
18:13No, I don't think we can do that.
18:16Let's take Bill. I'm starting to really come around on Bill, by the way.
18:21We'll just punt off tight end on this team. I think we probably have to take a third quarterback.
18:28This is probably going to be a three a 3573 kind of where I'm leaning.
18:36You could talk me into stopping at these four running backs though.
18:40You could you could talk me into it.
18:47Uh, I do want to make sure Kevin Barnes, did I answer your question? PR will be load up on wide receiver. Yeah, if it's
18:51full PPR, I'm loading up on receiver through the flex if that's the question.
19:02You're my go-to guy uh for the season.
19:05Thanks to my first year 2023, I won three homeies. God damn. Thank you, man.
19:08I appreciate that. And I will say uh I will promote the basementdraftguide.com.
19:13Make sure you check it out. It is honestly my my passion project. We're still we're still like making improvements to it every day. Hope that
19:20you guys are are uh kind of seeing that.
19:22We uh actually I don't know if it's I don't know if it's added yet, but very soon there's going to be like a change
19:27log that every time I make like a big rankings update, it's going to like automatically show you like the biggest movers up and down. Um I'm trying to
19:36think of like anything else that I've added in.
19:39I'm working on getting the ESPN ADP on the ADP edge tool to now be the ESPN default rankings that are like what get
19:45loaded in uh when you draft on there because I that's you know what your leaguemates are going to be drafting off
19:50of. So constantly making updates, constantly trying to make the mobile experience better. Uh but the basementdraftguide.com of course you can get it now my top 200. You have the uh
19:59league sync which I will say it's a bummer. The only draft sync I have is for sleeper. you can sync your ESPN
20:05league to uh like take away the keepers and get your scoring settings in. I don't have anything for Yahoo or CBS
20:11yet. That is going to be a 2027 deal, but you can still draft off them the same way I do with uh the high stakes
20:17leagues. And then of course in season stuff is on the Patreon, but if you sign up for the Patreon where you get the
20:21weekly rankings, rest of season rankings, dynasty rankings, waiverwire article in season, you get the basementdraftguide.com for half off. And if you're an annual member, you get it
20:30for free. Uh all of that is in the description and the comment section down below. Uh again, and I will say any of
20:36you guys out there that are using it, give me any and all feedback because all the like essentially the this whole
20:42launch week, right, we launched it on Monday, August 3rd. Uh I'll get like texts from you guys and be like, "What
20:47do you think about this?" Or like if this if you did this, it'd be better.
20:50And then, you know, I just send that note to my web designer. Uh and we've been like slowly making it a better
20:55product. So, it's something I'm very excited about.
21:00How are we? It's August. You're the goat. Thank you. We're doing good. We're doing good. RB dead zone feels like most
21:05dead zone in years. Like, yeah, we're I mean, we're getting there. We're getting there. It's funny uh because like this is honestly the the new age we're in
21:12where like the better running back does, the more expensive running back becomes.
21:18And now we're really getting to a spot where the last two years running back has been really strong and running back
21:23has been really healthy. and we're now pushing running backs up uh to right around where COVID was.
21:30And then we're really gearing up here.
21:32Look, I I I don't want to call it cuz it's it's, you know, it's the gamblers fallacy of like we're due, but one of
21:38these years we're going to have a year uh where like zero RB crushes and like I I don't want to speak it into existence,
21:45but it is at least mentioning like we've seen years like this happen before and it's something that would bum me out
21:51terribly, but like there is a world out there where like Gibbs, Bejian, McCaffrey, you know, some of them miss like six weeks at a time, some of them
21:58actually get really hurt. All right, let's actually lock in for a second.
22:01It wants to take a C. Can we take a tight end, man?
22:07Let's just take Goddard.
22:09Let's take Goddard.
22:11Strange won't be here at our next pick, but I also don't want to reach on him.
22:16No, we're not going to take Strange.
22:21He wants to take wide receiver, honestly, rightfully so. Maybe I could have waited. Oh, no. This guy doesn't have a tight end either. Let's take
22:26Coker. Coker's a fun pick. I probably don't have enough Coker. How much do I got? 7%. That's not enough. These are
22:32two guys I want more of, to be honest with you. Let's take Coker. Have to put Bryce Young stack later, too, because I
22:38think we're going to go three quarterbacks with Trevor Lawrence and Kyler here.
22:43Like I said, I think 373 is going to work on this team.
22:48BTJ Evans, Pash got one. Yeah, exactly, man. Like some of the best like exceivers Dez Bryant, Mike Evans, uh Nico Collins, George Pickkins. Like
22:58it's not a death sentence. It's like now don't get me wrong uh there is like the field stretching X that does nothing
23:04whether that's like you know Darnell Mooney or uh Alec Pierce pre2025 but you know I think JO's a good I think JMO's a good
23:15example but Jammo is also just like special special after the catch. Uh this is the baseball mania draft guide is fire.
23:22Thank you man.
23:26Like I said, I think somebody said that like the league sync on mobile was a little bit wonky. I think we got that
23:30straightened out. Um, so I'm I'm excited, man. It's only getting better as the days go by.
23:37You're my go. You're my goalie. What format is this in underdog? What do you best mania? Half PPPR wide receiver one
23:43flex. Is that the question? Good day, lads. What's going on?
23:48Doing your first RTS. Let me know how how that starts. You mean Haynes King?
23:54All right, just finally caught up. My bad. Team four looking really good as well. Are you in team four? First year
23:58doing happy yard dual flex. What should I know? Um I had a good piece in the uh and I hate just like redirecting you to the
24:09strategy video, but I I released a strategy video a few days ago. Um and I really don't think I'm exaggerating.
24:14Like I'm curious what you guys think.
24:16Like that might be the best video I've made. We'll see what it does views-wise by the time week one rolls around. Like
24:20it might not be my most viewed video, but I think pound-for-pound in terms of like jamming research in one video, I think it's probably my best.
24:30Um, but I I cover half PPR in that video.
24:34Uh, and like pretty much you want wide receiver in your flex spot, but you can also if you happen to draft like three
24:40wide receivers or three running backs through six rounds, you can absolutely uh put one of those running backs in your flex spot and then draft less wide
24:47receivers because of it. Uh, but you definitely want to make sure you have like a pool of flex options being round
24:54one through six running backs and then wide receivers through like round 10ish.
25:04How do I feel about Skybo? It's I heard we're such a This is such a tough time of the year because we get so many
25:10reports without like concrete meetings and then I hop on here and I don't know the status of like Cam Scatabo. Uh, I
25:16saw like a Twitter report that he pulled up limping in practice today. But what does that mean? Like he's probably fine.
25:22Same thing with like Waddle. Same thing with Jaylen McMillan.
25:28Price is giving me Kareem Hunt vibes. I don't I don't mind that. I don't mind that. Let's see who's available.
25:34All right. So, Bryce Young is an option.
25:36Joan Jennings is an option, who I never take.
25:42TJ Hawinson's an option as well.
25:45have to big reach on him. Uh let's do Bryce.
25:50Then we're done at quarterback.
25:54We're done at quarterback.
25:59What's our pick number when we get back here? 180. Yeah. So Hawk isn't coming back, huh?
26:07Can I just Can I take Hawk over I might take Hawk over Jennings, bro?
26:12Like I'm just not really bought in on Jennings.
26:19I don't know. You guys might hate this.
26:20Yeah, we're going we're going Hawinson.
26:21We're so damn bad at tight end that I think it makes sense.
26:27Yeah, let's go Hawk.
26:30He was never coming back. That's always like kind of the tough part about being on the turn. Sometimes you got to reach
26:35a little bit.
26:39Think I'm going to have to take Bree round three before it dries up. And that disgusts me. Eh, I like Bree round
26:43three. I know some people I know it's not everybody's thing.
26:47Drafted from the four in a 12 team. Not sure about rounds four, five. Either I go wide receiver and reach for two in
26:52and five or I go scat and then deal with like Terry.
26:56It's tough to ever map it out that far to be honest. I I'd take one of the big four and then just see what comes back,
27:02man. You never know.
27:05Definitely one of your best. Thank you, man.
27:10Jamar Brock Nicoar in BBM. Wow, that's nice. Definitely one of your best. Thank you, man. Uh, strategy video is like, why? Hell yeah. That's why we do it,
27:18man. The best video you've made. Hell yeah. Thank you, dude. You still getting in the gym? Not not as much as I would
27:27like to uh this August, but uh we're at like three to four times a week for August, which is nice. I I got a nice
27:33little uh nice little uh push day in this morning.
27:39What are we saying on Totin? I'm I'm all in on Totin, man. I I keep on moving up the rankings. I'm not like I don't I saw
27:46today like the big thing everyone was spooked by is like and don't get me wrong, uh John Chipley is an awesome
27:52beat reporter, but it is August 7th, man. Uh practice like
28:02I'm trying to think of how to word this.
28:05We live in an age where there's probably too much media and technology in terms of like I think I don't think it's super
28:16valuable to have the exact snap counts, touch counts, everything for like a 12 snap practice, you know, or like a 25
28:23snap practice of running the offense.
28:27They're not going to like they're going to, you know, give Chris Rodriguez is new. like they're they're going to just like see what's going on.
28:35And like also I'm not drafting these players for like what is exactly going to happen in week one. Like we're trying
28:41to hit a moving target of how these things are going to look like when it gets to week six, seven, eight, nine.
28:45Like it's not I I I it's decent insight, but like everyone's freaking out today that it's like, oh well Chris Rodriguez
28:52got the goal line carries in practice today. It's like dude, we're talking about practice. Like don't get me wrong, like practice it matters.
28:59Okay, okay, whatever. But like it is not an indication of how the workload and everything is going to shake out by the
29:07time it gets like week four or week five. Uh we know that these backfields could be fluid, touches can be earned
29:14uh and like you you don't even know what they're working on. You know what I Like what if they're working on like strictly
29:21their their red zone stuff and then like uh like things can just get skewed and then maybe they want to like try a guy
29:26here and they just like you know and like certain practices are ran different ways like some guys might want to like
29:32really get to you know keep things light and not put like extra miles on their guys before the season. So I don't know
29:37it's just uh I I saw that today and everyone's like whoa we got to back up on two. We got to back up. He's not he's
29:43not getting the goal line work. is like, do you do you really think that if like Tutin is crushing this year
29:50that they're going to yank him at the two yard line like Chris Rodriguez is prime Mike Tolbert? Because I have a
29:56tough time believing that.
29:58Um, let's go TFR here.
30:11We'll probably just take Yeah, probably gonna do a 3572 is what I've decided.
30:17That was That's my rant on on practice reports, though. I think there's some stuff you can glean from it, but I'm not
30:22like Don't give me like a player's snapshare on the day and then I think like reacting to that in a m massive way
30:30is a mistake is I guess what I'm trying to say.
30:41Dylan Samson, I guess, and then we'll just take two late round flyers at receiver. Think that we built a nice little team here. Built a nice little
30:50team. I don't know. I'm not even I'm not even fully up to date with the chat right now. I'm just I'm just yapping.
31:07Wow. Little zero RB Henry. I'd like to hear that. I'd like to hear that. You drafted Jaylen Naylor at all? No, dude.
31:13No, not really.
31:15What the split?
31:22You taking Javvante Williams over Bree struggling in draft next Saturday. You and Nick from BDG are the goats. Hell yeah. Thank you, man. Uh I'm Bree over
31:28Javvante personally.
31:30Uh I love Cook, but I like I think he has a higher ceiling.
31:34Cook is so tricky. I think that Cook is one of the defining players of this season. And I say that because
31:41he's viewed as this high floor, low ceiling player, but if he simply just catches 50 balls and becomes the player that we thought he
31:50could be coming out of college, uh he could hit like 21 points per game and be like the RB2 in points per game this
31:56year. But I also see with Genty like year two upside on the Raiders. Pretty easy to see how he gets like 19 20 plus
32:02points per game. Fans going way too late. I don't hate that in half PPR. I'm not as into it.
32:12No, I take two and over.
32:23See, I think that's crazy. I froze. I think that's crazy, man.
32:43I'm all set on Injoku personally.
32:48Yes, Gadston's been getting uh some pretty bad rep. I guess Cook is just a chain in a top five offense. And I I
32:57wish he had that pass catching role. He is no Dvin Cook. strategy video was up there with Ryan Heath. Hell yeah, dude. Ryan Heath is a man.
33:11I I saw a tweet like I I hit a banger tweet during the season that like people were uh talking about like James Cook is
33:18better than his brother and I was like whoa, let's let's hold the phone here for a second. But it wouldn't shock me
33:24if uh if if James did make a run at one of like D like Dalvin had one legendary season. I think I think that Dalvin
33:32Dalvin's tough because I wouldn't call it a legendary season, but he had damn near the RB1 overall in points per game season. And then I think
33:40Kamar snatched his chain in the last week when he did the uh the like four touchdowns on Christmas Day thing.
33:51Let's take Cup here.
33:53H I don't really even want Cup. Fine. We have like week 17 correlation with Cup.
33:59uh with like Bryce Young, I think.
34:07And then our last pick. Do we have any like correlation that I'm looking for here? Jaguars, Minnesota. We already have all those. Washington, Jets,
34:14Seattle.
34:18Let's just take Pittsburgh, Dallas, Washington.
34:28Take Pat Bryant.
34:31I actually really like this team, fellas.
34:34I really like this team. Uh, from the 11 spot, we go Jefferson, James Cook, Kairen, Luther Burden, Christian Watson, Parker Washington, Trevor Lawrence, Jonathan
34:43Brooks, Kyler, Bill, Dallas, Jaylen Coker, Bryce Young, TJ Hawinson, Terrence Ferguson, Dylan Samson, Cooper Cup, Pat Bryant. honestly feels a little
34:51bit light at receiver, but I mean, we took Jefferson in round one and then filled through our flex through round six, but then we really waited on that
34:59wide receiver five. Uh, let's hop into another one. Let's do another one. Why not, fellas?
35:14Uh, this the extension.
35:17Um, this is the solver. Uh, you can use promo code Ron. I have a link in the description where you can get, I think,
35:2820% off it as well. Let me change. I think I I don't know what settings I have on it right now.
35:37Oh, it has the ETR rankings on it. Let's use my rankings. Thank you very much.
35:47Nah, bro. If Bird was getting drafted at his ceiling, he'd be getting drafted in round two.
35:56Damn. At the back half again, huh?
36:00Back half again.
36:12Six TDs on Christmas. That's what it was. What do you think about drafting defense? Is it worth taking a top defense? No, dude. I defenses and
36:17kickers, you just take him with your last two rounds. Honestly, I I got questions about Brandon Aubrey. Uh I think Brandon Aubrey goes too high
36:24everywhere. So, he's not someone I'm really targeting at all. Bring it back to CMC Davlin. Zeke Henry. Yeah.
36:36Say Cook looked unbelievable at the end of last season, breaking big run after big run. That's what I'm saying, dude.
36:40If they simply just are like, let's actually throw this guy the ball and we get some of that PPR value, then all of
36:44a sudden he crushes to watch optic wipe the floor with phase. We'll see. We'll see.
36:53We'll see.
36:55How is uh how is the EWC going right now? Somebody get me up to speed.
37:00Whoever's in here that knows COD.
37:02I like I the I only caught some of the uh Koi vers Cloud9 search on raid uh cuz I [ __ ]
37:12with Abe because he was on the bush or whatever. Uh and like the last round of that Abe got crushed by uh I don't even
37:19know who the other guy's name was, but he got crushed in like a one v one. It was kind of embarrassing. The one year I
37:23took Dvin Cook was 2018.
37:26Yep. I remember that. That was like the year two breakout. Uh Dalvin after maybe like tearing his ACL in year one or
37:31something like that.
37:41What's it going to be, bud?
37:46He goes St. Brown. We're go JT. Get running back at the top here. Why not?
38:11Great draft. I tell you, thank you, man.
38:12People are sleeping on Kamar. I do think that he still has like a I don't know if he's going to be like a monster, but I
38:19just like I see it in my mind's eye like Saints dome game and he scores like three touchdowns in week 16. I don't
38:26even know if they play at home in week 16, but I can just see him score like three touchdowns in a fantasy playoff
38:32game. I don't know if anybody else can envision that.
38:38That's what I'm saying, dude. I don't know what's going on.
38:43See what comes back to us here.
38:53Let's see.
38:58See, I don't I don't I don't feel strongly about any of these three. Do you take Saquon?
39:08I'm like temp to mix in Walker boat.
39:10We'll go we'll go Hampton.
39:14Let's actually get my exposures updated here. I'm I doubt there's like much to uh to like sync here or whatever. Which
39:21again is like something you can do with the solver. The solver of course link in the description. It's like the overlay
39:27thing. It's nothing crazy, but you can use promo code Ron. I've link in the description for it. Uh, ignore my slow drafts. Oh my god. Ignore
39:34my slow drafts. Everybody, please look away. This is a HIPPA violation.
39:43Nobody talk about what they just saw.
39:44Please, please. Um, anything weird happened in this draft. CDM 107. That's interesting. Brock Bower. Oh, double Raiders. Oh. Oh, not for me. I like both
39:55those players, but that's not for me.
39:57That uh is not for me.
40:00I also say, of course, if any of you guys are new here, make sure you subscribe. Make sure you leave a like on the stream.
40:09Make sure if you aren't already on Underdog, use promo code Ron when you sign up and you'll get $50 on the site
40:15when you play $5. I have a link in the description and the live chat right now.
40:19Uh, I'll be drafting teams on Underdog all summer long from now through week one kickoff. Everyone that's been with me for a while knows we stream every day
40:28in the month of August through week one phase back to back.
40:35What do you think about the last round taking? I don't mind tank.
40:39Yeah, it was Gwyn. It was Gwyn.
40:44Does Waddle injury concern you?
40:47I'm being cautious for right now. I'm being cautious. Have you made any big ranking changes off the camp news so far? um really just moved Gadston down.
40:55The one injury that I I don't like uh Kenyan Sadik on my Jets, I moved him way down. Uh injuries having soft or rookies
41:03having soft tissue injuries and not getting up to speed with their offense is a big no no in my eyes. Uh, I will
41:10say nice nice little easy plug, but uh, we are adding a feature to the basementdraftguide.com where when I make rankings, like any big rankings changes
41:19are going to go into a tab called, uh, change log, which I would check. I'm actually going to check right now if
41:25that's live. But that's a feature that's coming down the pipeline very soon.
41:30Let's see.
41:34We're actually up to make a pick here in a second.
41:40I don't know why the thing is so strong.
41:42I don't have enough I buoua and we talked about him today, but you can see I moved them up to a spot where we're
41:45going to have a lot more. Uh I'm going to make up for lost time with I bua. So bang.
41:53And I think when a lot of these slow drafts roll in, I'll have more I bua exposure.
41:58Um, it is live. It is live. There's a change
42:14log right now. So, I moved I moved Kenya Sadi down 21 spots. I moved Kian Mitchell up 14 spots. I've removed
42:19Antony Williams from the rankings. A lot of this is just the Stfan Dig stuff.
42:23I've moved up Jaden Blue.
42:26Nothing big from camp yet. Like I said, Sadi has probably been the biggest faller from like a camp soft tissue injury. But yeah, there's a change log
42:34in the draft guide now.
42:41Wow. I'm going to be tempted to take Josh Allen here.
42:46What are you going to do, JT Timber?
42:48What's it going to be, pal?
42:56Let me get Garrett. Damn it.
43:00We're gonna take Luther.
43:03We talked about in the video today. He's my next best ranked receiver. Give me Burden. Let's go Luther in back-to-back drafts here. Actually, we talked about
43:09both of these guys in today's videos.
43:10it.
43:12Uh, Camaro will get 20 carries and get injured. Yeah, I could see it. Rico D week 16 versus the Panthers. I could see
43:19it. I had the 104 in keeper league. Is keeping Genty smart. or Gibbs and Beij are getting kept. Uh, probably someone took a double Cowboys here. Lamb
43:28Pickkins. What the hell?
43:31That's interesting. Oh, taking Josh Allen on that team is like, how do you not set yourself up to take How do you
43:39not set up Dak Prescott there?
43:43250 slows. I hate everything, including myself. That's I I I will say like the biggest uh I think the biggest use case
43:50for the solver is slow drafts are so much easier uh when it just like already knows who's on your team, what stacks
43:57you have going on. Like it's it's been so much less of a chore, which is nice.
44:01I've been warming up to JT. I I got to move him up in the uh half PPR rankings on this. I'm actually going to take a
44:06note down right now for that. I think I think you could talk me into JT at 105 and half PPR.
44:15I think you could.
44:27Not that that's anything crazy. I mean, he was he was amazing last year and in half PPR he gets a boost.
44:32>> Yeah, we're big on T. We're big on T. Go three running backs. No, chill. What's one thing you'd say is most important to
44:37make your own rankings?
44:39Which what's one thing you'd say is important?
44:44What the hell? Just got the basement guy and uh really pumped. What's up? Need your opinion on this second pick considering Chase at two. No, I think
44:51it's got to be I think it's got to be man because you're going to come back in that late round two and you're taking a
44:57gamble that you're going to like a running back there and then even not.
45:00Especially in like most home leagues, man. Especially in a two wide receiver, one flex especially, dude, you're you're going to end up with some nice receivers
45:06later. Two wide receiver, one flex.
45:09There's going to be wide receivers later. If it was a two wide receiver, two flex league, I would say, eh, you
45:15could you could talk me into it. But trust, trust, you can take Bean. Uh, a wide receiver might fall back to you. That's
45:24pretty nice. And then if not, you can always, you know, double tap running back, take a receiver in round three.
45:29Then if you double running back early, you can kind of catch up elsewhere later on.
45:35Quinch on Bellcow, but like pretty rough uh offensive environment.
45:41ADP edge tool is the best pre-draft tool out there. Thank you, man. We're trying to make it better, too. We're we're
45:45we're making a couple of updates over the next couple of days on it, too, because again, I want to get the ESPN
45:51default rankings. I know we're pulling the ADP right now, but let me know what you guys think about that. Um, and of
45:57course, we'll we'll make the video. I'm I might make the video like as soon as this weekend, like Sunday, uh where we
46:03talk about like the best values in fantasy where we look at like high stakes ADP and we compare it to the home leagues. I'm
46:11curious what you guys think about that because I feel like that was the thesis of it is we want the default rankings,
46:15not the ADP because like ESPN is just like their dumb mockdraft data. Uh, like I was looking at kind of like I hopped
46:22into two mock drafts today on ESPN just to see like what the default rankings were and it just it orders it by their
46:28own rankings. So I'd rather pull that um because I feel like your leaguemates are just more likely to draft off of like
46:34you know whoever's like best available by ESPN's rankings. Like they're not going to click click around and tap on ADP and do all that. So that's where I'm
46:42at. Let me know if that's let me know if I'm making a mistake by going through the hassle of doing that though.
46:55Um, let's see.
47:06Kind of want to go Brian Thomas after all this talk that we just had about Pwash in the last draft.
47:13Even though I do have like Marva ahead.
47:15Let's go Brian Thomas. I know that Tyler Warren is going to stare us in the face here, but we're going to go Brian Thomas.
47:23Let's catch up at wide receiver a little bit. This is an awesome price on Devonte, by the way. 509 Devonte. I
47:28didn't react to that nearly enough.
47:29That's a great pick.
47:33Uh, I don't play any DFS. No.
47:38Do you ever have any doubts about being an independent fantasy analyst?
47:44Um I guess but not really. I I was very lucky that I I uh started so young that
47:54like there I never had any pressure to like make money to support a family or anything like that. Like I I just
48:01kind of could start at my own pace. Um and then there's also like proof of proof of concept. Like I would say
48:06Nicker Cololano was definitely I would say I'd say Nicer Colano and JJ Zachary were like my two biggest inspirations and it feels like both of them never
48:14were uh like of course Nick was never a part of like a Yahoo or CBS whatever. I know JJ for a second there was with like
48:20numberfire but I don't know that that was really a fantasy site. Um, so yeah, uh,
48:30the idea of like a a solo guy felt feasible.
48:40Another nice start. Thank you, man. Do a contrarian lineup where you take everyone that gives you the Maybe we will. We got Cole Bryan in here. What's
48:47going on? What's going on? We got Dakota in here. What's going on? Some real amateurs in this draft.
48:54I will say I think one of my weaknesses as a player of fantasy is like I well especially when I'm reading the chat and
49:02stuff I just I just get distracted. So I'm never really super keed on outside if I'm at the turn I'll know what the
49:07guy you know with the if I'm at the 10 spot I know what the 11 and 12 spot are doing but
49:12like I haven't been keeping track that this dude rips well at number two has now taken four running backs that you
49:19know and you can't start four running backs at a time in this format. That's crazy to me.
49:31I I think it's both, man. It's both for me in terms of like uh Rashi not being a real life a good real life receiver, the
49:37the knee not looking right in practice.
49:40I just don't know how much more they can possibly run their offense through Rashi Rice when the offense hasn't looked right
49:47since what, like 2022.
50:10Once again, I have no clue what y'all just saw there.
50:14Let's see.
50:17We're going to do Trevor Lawrence again.
50:18I mean, I don't I don't mind it.
50:23Do Trevor Lawrence.
50:25Probably don't need to take a running back here, but we could.
50:43Yeah, we'll take Lawrence. I was just checking to see if this guy didn't take uh this guy didn't take PE Wash, then I
50:49was going to risk it, but we'll see what comes back to us.
50:57Anything you consider auction job content? Nah, just not it's just not a format that I play and there's not a big
51:02enough audience for it.
51:1130% Marva. I don't hate it, dude. I like Marva a lot. Uh he only he only didn't um what am I trying to say? He only didn't
51:23make today's video because we talked about him in my skyrocketing video. So, love the draft guide. One note is I love
51:27to see target rounds on the printout sheet. Are target rounds on the CSV? I'm going to I'll make that note down
51:33though. I assume you mean in like the uh printable cheat sheet.
51:46That's what I'm saying. Any and all feedback is good. Any and all feedback is good, fellas.
51:53Especially right now. Like, you know what I mean? Like I guess uh I I guess this weekend there's going to be some
51:58fantasy drafts, but I feel like next weekend will be one of the big ones. You know, you know, I don't take
52:04much of Tucker Craft. If he's going to fall like this and we need a tight end anyways, let's take him.
52:09This is kind of a fun start. Uh honestly, uh honestly, kind of like a textbook start here. We get a falling
52:15Tucker Craft in our tight end spot. We double up on running backs. Then we take wide receivers through the flex, and
52:19then we stack Brian Thomas to Trevor Lawrence. That's super clean. We're just drafting good teams today. What do you guys think? Man, 312 Lav is nice.
52:28I would say Liam Murphy, a guy who has won uh multiple tournaments uh millions of dollars in winnings, is probably pretty sharp. Yeah.
52:40Uh should I keep pickings in the fourth or Love in the eighth?
52:47I think I think I do love Lovelin in the eighth, but I would love to know what pick you're drafting from.
52:55That'd be my uh that'd be my take, but that's really tough because I have Piggin as like an early I have pickings as like maybe the
53:02212 and then I have Lovelin at like the 312. So, I think you're probably getting more value on Lovelin and you can just
53:08lock in a tight end and not have to worry about the the position is pretty nice. But James Cook then Chase Brown 108 10 man.
53:17That's fine. I'm crazy for taking P over JO. It's not It's not for me.
53:23All right, I'll see if I can get those added. I'll see if I can get those added. I think we can. 20th to 30 is
53:2930th is most drafts.
53:35Fellas, give me give me one more um temperature check on for the ADP edge tool because I'm I'm going to do the the
53:41biggest value by round video. It's our most viewed video on the channel.
53:46I ESPN default rankings I think is the move because that again that's like what like you know what I mean? If you get 12
53:51guys, you're all drafting online in the app, that's the default rankings in the app for everybody. So I think that that
53:57is like the most likely like I'm not saying that those default rankings are any good. I'm just saying I feel like
54:02that's the most likely what your league mates will be drafting off of. It's not like they're going to know to like
54:06scroll to like, you know, rank 120 to find Jonathan Brooks or to like sort things by ADP or whatever. I'm kind of
54:13talking in circles. I think I've kind of decided because I don't want to send my web designer through the hassle of doing
54:19that if it's like not the move. I think it's a move.
54:33Why am I so low on Jaylen Naylor?
54:37I I I've just been around long enough to know that like a receiver. I'm I'm a big um go staffer to Devonte here. My bad. I
54:58know it was like mid-sentence there.
55:01I've been around long enough and you guys will see in my videos like I I I mention the per out metric. so much, you
55:06know, yards per run, targets per run, you know, isolating wide receiver talent. Uh, and Jaylen Naylor is just pedestrian across the board. And then we
55:14see all the time like I think following the money at wide receiver is one of the bigger mistakes you can kind of have,
55:20you know?
55:28So, it's just tough like like I don't know following the money. And then that's the other thing like we were just
55:33talking about like we're talking about practice like dude I'm trying to think of how to be respectful about this like look respect
55:43to the beat reporters all that but like you know Jaylen Naylor is going to make a couple plays in practice man you know
55:51uh guys make plays these at the end of the day these guys are NFL players and I'm sure
55:59I'm sure that like uh looks like a decent cage for this.
56:18Let's just see if Kobe Myers gets back to us. That'd be pretty sweet.
56:23What I'm saying is that these guys are pros. That's what I'm trying to say.
56:26These guys are pros. They're going to make plays in practice.
56:30Uh, let's go. We should probably go Jacobe.
56:34Let's go Jacobe.
56:47You don't think I'm cooking anything up about Jaylen Naylor? I guess he's fine for baseball. I prefer Trey Tucker. I think Trey Tucker is like actually a
56:54good player.
56:57Yeah. Wide receivers are just getting paid. I I was talking to um I mean real OGs know that my mom loves uh my mom's a
57:05football fan, but like very surface level. Uh she like kind of understands what's going on. She likes watching it.
57:11Uh, and I keep on trying to explain to her or like I I've kind of I' I've done a decent job of explaining to her over
57:20time of like running backs being kind of secondass citizens in the NFL. But it is hilarious that wide receivers get paid so much
57:28that Gibbs became like the most the highest paid uh running back and I think that his average yearly salary is still
57:35outside the top like 20 wide receivers.
57:40I actually Well, here's the thing. Wix is talented on a per out basis. That's what it comes down to, dude. You can search anybody's name on
57:53Twitter and there's going to be something about them.
58:03Especially a newly signed free agent that people are that like beat reporters are excited about.
58:08I'm saying B reporters are kind of dumb is what I'm saying.
58:13They oftentimes throw out projections that are wrong. Like I I've seen them before say like, "Oh yeah, like this running back is going to get like 20
58:20carries a game and then this running back is going to get like 15 carries per game." And they just don't really have a
58:23grasp of how many plays are actually in an NFL game. And don't get me wrong, that's not their job. It's just that uh
58:29it's why accounts like Coach Speak Index are so important.
59:08You say just search up Antonio Williams.
59:13Literally, I think Stefan Digs was literally talking about Antonio Williams today. You can go type up Antonio Williams on Twitter and see what comes
59:21up, brother.
59:24Um trying to debate if we're going to take a third quarterback here.
59:31Baker's kind of staring us in the face.
59:36Three quarterbacks here feels a little bit.
59:41Feels like a lot.
59:44We're going to do it though.
59:49Any thoughts on Ravens wide receiver two darts?
59:56Uh I'm I know Jacobe Lane's been getting the hype. I'm still Sarra, but I think they're all good clicks. I think Sarat's
60:04a good click. I think um uh dude, you remember who who out there is old enough to remember? Um ah Darwin
60:13Thompson. Darwin Thompson. Go go go go go do a little do yourself a little uh little piece of homework. There was once
60:21upon a time that Darwin Thompson, a I think like a seventh round pick for the Chiefs at running back, got so much buzz
60:27that he was like an 11th round pick uh in high stakes FFPC leagues by um by the end of August with like a real
60:40pick.
60:42My point is that if some beat reporter is talking up Jaylen Naylor, it means nothing. That's the point.
60:50It's Jaylen Naylor.
60:53And I and I guess with a guy like Jaylen Naylor, outside of baseball, like what do you win when you win with Jaylen
60:58Naylor? What does it what does a positive outcome look like for you um with Jaylen Naylor on your fantasy football team? Unless if you're telling
61:04me like you love him in baseball, then I mean, knock yourself out. I'm like I'm not dying to have a Raiders pass catcher
61:12not named Bowers.
61:21Literally has to be Rashad B. And I could see it. I really do think Elijah Serat has some some upside to be like a
61:27big slot here. Oh, what's the team looking like? Let me let me see.
61:39Uh, all right. So, we started JT, Amarian, Hampton, Ibuka, Burden, Devonte Adams, Brian Thomas, stack the BTJ to Lawrence. Uh, then we take Craft, we
61:48take Stafford to Devonte, we take Jacobe to Lawrence, we take Baker to Bua, we take Strange to Lawrence. We're just drafting good teams tonight.
62:07Chiefs do always have preseason guys, but they like make plays in practice.
62:12I know. I I feel like I haven't touched the uh pick one through six in ages. Are you buying 80 BDG draft kit?
62:21Um, I I already have it cuz I I like pay for
62:33their uh trivia subscription or whatever, which I'm sure I could get them to give me for free or whatever, but I'm I'm
62:39happy to support those guys.
62:48Naylor's catching the stray because I said he's not good and then the response was, "Well, he's getting a lot of buzz
62:53in camp." And I said, "Everybody's getting buzz and camp, so I don't care."
63:01Uh, no matter who the Ravens wide receiver two is, take a miracle to squeeze. H, I could I could see it, man. I could see
63:10it, dude. Lamar Lamar's got one more like nuclear passcatching season in him.
63:15I mean, not one more. I'm talking about him like he's 35 or something. But what's up, Soul Stone?
63:26Let's see.
63:33Let's see.
63:36We only have two running backs so far.
63:38We probably should start taking some running backs, huh?
63:42Super chat here. I appreciate it, man.
63:44What do we got?
63:47Lamari is only 29. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to talk about him. Uh but I don't, you know, it's a little bit more
63:53volatile the way that he plays the game as like a scrambling quarterback, but uh I do think he can he can he he's become
63:58such an awesome uh pocket passer, but that I'm I'm shortch changing him with the way I phrase that.
64:04So, if Lamar happens to be tuning in here, I do want to apologize sincerely.
64:10Um guess we'll take a falling Woody Marks.
64:14I'm not crazy about marks, but he is falling.
64:17Yeah, we're going to need some We're going to need some running back. We No, we took we took two up top. We took two
64:21up top and we're like, yeah, we're set.
64:24So, I think what we're going to end up with this team that we're going to have this might be another 357. Uh, we
64:32probably need No, I think we can get I think we can get there with a 3573. What do you guys think?
64:42Right now we're at 3352.
64:45Let me show you guys the uh this is where we're at right now. We have Lauren Stafford Baker. We have as many
64:51quarterbacks as running backs. Not great. JT Hampton, Marks, Ibuka, Burden, Devonte, Brian Thompson. That's a sweet five wide receiver stack. Don't me
64:59wrong, you know, for not having a stud up top. And then Craft Strange. I think we need one more tight end.
65:05I'm I'm thinking 3572 or 3573 is where I'm at.
65:12see what comes back. We probably take Bachco here.
65:16We have, let me think, any of these guys have some week 17 correlation for us. We have Rams, Tampa,
65:26Jacksonville versus Washington. So, we'll kind of we'll kind of telegraph Kron Allen on this team.
65:40I don't really like PCO, but I guess he falls to us here.
66:00Scared from last year and your league mates. Yeah, that's that was my biggest uh my biggest regret there obviously. I mean taking Lamar 101 instead of Josh
66:07Allen.
66:10Taking Jayen Blue. I like Jaden Blue.
66:12Why don't you go RB heavy RB early? I mean I feel like I mean I've done it before. We we did it in the last
66:19honestly this has been some of my more running back hungry drafts. For me it's just that if you draft you know JT
66:25Hampton like we're betting on these guys to be awesome.
66:29Uh so I don't really see I don't know. We just started drafting other things like instead, you know, we took wide receivers to the flex. We got
66:36got our quarterback at tight end quarterback receiver to be in the flex.
66:44That's what I'm saying. JT scores enough and Hampton scores enough. Like I I think I feel good about the the two
66:48running back spots.
66:52Yeah, you start three wide achievers on this on this uh in this format. But I I'm also somebody that'll, you know,
66:59it it all depends on how things fall, man. I I'm I'm very much uh like if my highest ranked player is a running back,
67:06you know, for three of the first five rounds or whatever. I'll take three running backs. It just I need some value
67:12in an auction league so I can hypothetically get anyone in the draft.
67:14Who's most undervalued, underrated first round pick? Wow.
67:22H.
67:36Oh, my bad.
67:38I didn't see the super chat. I'll get to both of these. Uh, if you're in a keeper league in the 11 12 Brown at the six and
67:44Kenneth Walker at the fifth. Wow. I assume your draft is pretty depleted.
67:48Then let me know if it's PPR or half PPR. How many wide receivers in flex spots? Um I'd be tempted to to try and double tap
67:56receiver, but if Jefferson and CD Lamb are like both gone, uh I I wouldn't like force AJ Brown or, you know, Drake
68:02London or whoever you like there. But I also understand that like the whole the whole board is probably pretty depleted, you know?
68:18in an auction league. I'm trying to think. I I think the most underrated or the most undervalued would probably be Aman Ross St. Brown one and then
68:25Jefferson and then I think like the lame answer is Jir Gibbs.
68:37Let me know uh let me know your your league format. I want to give it. Let me know your league format and like who you
68:42who you think is going to be available around that area.
68:51Take another running back here, I think.
69:02All right. And then we're done at running back. And then we're just going to take We need another tight end, man. I wish I took Marshall Lloyd there.
69:11I wish I was sorting by my rank.
69:16Oh, that's mean. I don't even know what I don't even know what you just called uh I don't even know what you just
69:22called uh Kyler Murray here.
69:26CMC stays healthy. He's going to print fantasy points again. Yeah, CMC just concerns me, man. I'm starting to I don't know. I might I might move him
69:33down.
69:35I hate the pattern match. You guys know me. I hate the pattern match. And it kind of goes against a lot of the
69:39strategy video that we're shooting for upside, but at some point the the upside has to get offset by like this dude never strings
69:48backtoback monster seasons.
69:51He's getting to an age where I don't know is is a monster season even in his range. Last year he was already super
69:56inefficient. He's coming off a lot of touches.
70:00I'm just not stoked to press the button on my Caffrey really ever.
70:12Take Kon here.
70:17Yeah, we'll take Kadine.
70:20So, there's that. Then the rest of our draft will be two receivers.
70:32Thank you, man. Love the videos. Keep it up. Hell yeah. Appreciate it. Saw on a stream like two to three days ago,
70:36someone asked you about three round reversal mocks and you didn't know website. Oh, Sleeper offers that. My bad. Like two I think I have two in rank
70:4346th on the draft guide, which I will say I I might as well do a smooth little transition. Uh, last time
70:52I'll talk about it on this stream, but the basementdraftguide.com is live. My tiered top 200, my player notes, my targets, my fades,
71:02the ADP edge tool. You can look at the high stakes ADP versus the default Yahoo ESPN rankings, the sleeper ADP. Uh, all
71:11of that is there, my player notes, everything. Uh, you can sync your league to it as well. The basementdraftgu.com in the description in the comment
71:17section down below.
71:20That's for the draft in seasons the Patreon the weekly rankings the waiverwide article rest of season rankings
71:29weekly rankings dynast rankings uh Patreon league all that good stuff. Then of course if you're on the Patreon you get the inseason stuff and then you get
71:36the draft guide half off. If you're there on the annual sub you get the draft guide for free and you get for
71:42annual sub you get like the whole thing for like 40% off. The best value is the annual sub. But of course, that's how it works.
71:52Best guy on YouTube. Some say some say.
71:55How's that video doing we posted earlier?
71:59Let me take a gander.
72:05It's lowkey crushing. Lowkey crushing.
72:08People are I It's tough. the um if you guys want a little inside baseball like uh the strategy video is awesome because you guys are watching
72:18it. Like the average view duration on that is super high. Um I think I did a good job of retaining at least kind of
72:25retaining your attention and getting you to watch that. But I think it's not that people don't care my player takes, but
72:30there's also like I don't know, everyone's talking about players. Like there's there's definitely people like I guess I would call them like bots that
72:36just like click on the video, scroll through, see what players I mentioned, and then they just, you know, leave. Uh so that always sucks to see.
72:45But if I made every video some like convoluted strategy and just like recycled that, it it wouldn't be good.
72:51But we'll probably do it we'll probably do strategy videos like once once or twice a week. Next week we'll probably do double hero RB. There's also some
72:59aspects of the research that I I like thought of after like I should have I should have gone a little bit deeper
73:04into that. Like I want I wish I went a little deeper on the three to four like round three four I kind of just shrug my
73:09shoulders and was like it's kind of a wasteland here. But I wish I dug into a little bit more. I took a couple notes
73:14down of things I wanted to dig in more on the strategy stuff that we'll cover next time.
73:26I got to find the other note.
73:44Oh yeah, and then the flex logic of wins above replacement because then that also confirms that like wide receivers should be in your flex like in a given year.
73:52The optimal flex players were abundantly receivers.
74:09All right, last pick of the draft here.
74:11Taking a receiver.
74:14If anybody wants to sell me on an obscure receiver here, now is the time to do it.
74:19Washington, Tampa Bay, Rams, Washington, Jaguars, Dallas, Seattle. Let's do Tory Horton. Let's have some fun with Horton.
74:28People forget Tory Horton was like kind of ripping up the rookie receiver report year two profile. I know that Cooper Cup
74:34is there, but he might be dust.
74:36I have a couple Skyler Bells. That's fair. You can come away with your draft.
74:40you can like maybe max them away with like two or three of them because you can probably get uh Christian Watson a little bit later than
74:48those guys and then Josh DS as well. But I I hear you.
74:53But all right fellas, that is the final team. Uh two dude I think that I think that those are the two best teams we've
74:59drafted on stream so far. Uh, we went Trevor Lawrence, Matthew Stafford, Baker Mayfield, Jonathan Taylor, Marian Hampton, Woody Marks, Isaiah Pacheco,
75:06Dylan Samson, uh, Ibuka Burden, Devonte Adams, Brian Thomas, Jacobe Myers, Ted Hurst, Tory Horton, uh, Tucker Crab, Brentton, Strange, Kadon, a little bit
75:14weaker receiver, no doubt. A little bit weak weaker receiver. We didn't maybe didn't need three uh, quarterbacks, but we had a falling Baker with Ibuka
75:21already on the team. Uh, as always, we'll be doing these drafts all summer long. Make sure you're subscribed. Make sure you leave a like on the stream. Uh,
75:30click the notification bell if you want to know when we go live. I know sometimes I get like, "Oh, when's Ron
75:34going live?" Every night if you if you look up and you turn the page over on your calendar, if you cross off August
75:407th or whatever and you see and it says, "Oh, it's August 8th." I'll be streaming. All right? Even if it's 11:59
75:45and you're like, "Oh my god, Ron hasn't clicked the the the stream yet." I'll be live. I'll be live unless unless if I'm
75:52breathing, I'll be live is what I'll say. Um, but thank you guys for watching. Uh if you want to hop in
75:58underdog drafts with us all summer long, you can do so in the description comment section live chat right now. Uh use
