Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeRole15:47

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeRole23:16

The source is backing off their previous stance on James Cook, ranking him around 110-111 in half-PPR formats. His fantasy value is deemed contingent on his receiving role; if he fails to secure it, the source considers him a bad pick, citing concerns about potential efficiency regression and offensive line health.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

PositiveValue3:26

0:18chat comment section down below. You can hop into a Best Ball Mania with us. We need six more to join. Uh that's my bad,
0:25fellas. So, pretty much where I've been, uh you know, I I had this thing scheduled for I don't even remember, maybe 9:45.
0:33It's now 10:06, I'll be honest. Uh here's what happened.
0:36I dropped the basement draftguide.com.
0:41Make sure you check it out if you have a draft coming up. It's my draft guide, rankings, tiers, all that stuff. But,
0:46this will be the first time that big news happened, and I had to get a rankings update out. Um and there was
0:51just a little bit of wonkiness on the back end. So, I had to get that fixed because I think first and foremost, I
0:56want updated rankings for this stream. I want updated rankings for you guys to have. Uh for all the people that are
1:01already on the basement draftguide.com, which I will say thank you for everyone that signed up and checked the site out.
1:06Uh it has surpassed my wildest expectations for how many people have actually purchased it, checked it all out. So, that'll be smoother in the future. Um I
1:17just gave a novel of notes back to the web designer so it could be smoother next time. Uh but yeah, that's where I was.
1:24I'm sorry. I had to uh I did that was just very important to to [snorts] uh have updated rankings on the basement draft guide. Let's do
1:34Let's pull this out. We get the 112 spot. Who's in here? I appreciate everybody's patience. I know that uh I was
1:42uh taking a little bit of time there.
1:44But, how are we? How's everybody doing?
1:45What's going on?
1:49What are the vibes tonight on a Wednesday? How are we?
1:57Oh, I scheduled it for 9:30. All right, that's my bad if I scheduled it for 9:30. I don't know. I I thought I'll be
2:03honest, I think I scheduled it for 9:30 and I'm telling you guys, I thought it was going to be like, okay, I'll just
2:06like move Diggs here, I'll move uh Terry McLaurin here and then it'll be good to go, but uh these are just the
2:12things that you kind of learn on the fly with having a digital product. So, uh like I said, in the future it'll be a
2:18lot easier.
2:22What What are What do we got in here?
2:24Just on time. That's what I'm saying.
2:26That's what I'm saying.
2:30Why is he Madison Beer leaving Ron's complex? Yo, chill, chill, chill. Good evening. What's going on? We got Trey Cobb in here.
2:36Frankie told us Who's Frankie?
2:40How many shots Ron? Uh I'll be honest, I didn't really weirdly enough I we went to the happy hour or whatever. I didn't really drink.
2:46It just didn't really seem like um I don't know. I know it was the whole it was really uh getting after it or pounding drinks or
2:53whatever. I don't know.
2:54Uh I I think the one thing you can say about There's like all this talk like my generation doesn't drink very much
2:59whatever.
3:01I think my generation isn't down to drink uh on like a Wednesday Wednesday afternoon or whatever. So, I'll be honest, I just ate dinner.
3:07I had a water. Uh chatted it up with some of you guys that were out there. Uh my buddies over in the BDG office and
3:14the snapback guys that I haven't seen in like a month or so. So, it was just cool catching up with everybody, uh meeting
3:20some fans, just kind of hanging out. And honestly, because we've been grinding so hard on the draft guide and then uh you
3:25guys saw the video today, there was an insane amount of research in it, but I'm very happy with how it came out. Uh
3:31it felt good to get out of the house and you know, I can't really touch grass in a city, uh but getting out, talking to
3:36people, not just like being confined to uh my apartment was nice.
3:44All right, let's take We'll take Jefferson, Saquon. I keep coming back to This is like one of my favorite starts in drafts is It's Jefferson, Saquon.
3:51Very easy.
3:54When you going to end a FFPC? Probably don't I I don't know when, but we'll do high stakes drafts very soon. Uh we'll
3:59probably do a quick draft tonight.
4:01I hate to say it, right? We're going to do probably a quick stream tonight, but here's what Here's the deal. It's
4:06already 10:00 p.m. I'm tired. I you know, went out with the the BTG guys today, and then also we're just now catching up. We posted a
4:15video today.
4:16Let's get a head start on tomorrow.
4:18Go to bed at a reasonable time. Wake up, and then so I can keep on giving you guys videos. We got to get into a rhythm
4:24here, uh and then we can start to have some longer streams. Maybe I can, you know, now that we can get ahead of things,
4:30maybe I start a stream at like 8:00 p.m.
4:32and we go for a few hours. So, uh that's what's on the table here. But, that's where I'm at. Can't click on the
4:39filters on my draft guide. Is this a bug?
4:42I pray it's not.
4:45The filters like what?
4:48You change you have to refresh it?
4:50Now you're bugging me out.
4:57Let me pull up the draft guide on a separate screen real quick.
5:02Cuz I like I said, I had to mess around with the back end to get things right.
5:14So, what about the filters were wrong?
5:18Like uh I think I see what you're saying now.
5:35Huh?
5:40Great. Now I'm annoyed.
5:45All right. We'll get that solved in the morning.
5:48What's usually in the filters? The filters is just like my sleepers and stuff.
5:59Let me Let me message my guy real quick.
6:17I've always Everything has been smooth sailing until having to do the update today, but uh we go Jefferson, Saquon.
6:23Nothing really crazy has happened. I guess this guy going A.J. Brown ahead of the running backs here. Bowers goes.
6:27Neighbors, I guess now is just a late second round pick. Love and Breece Hall off the board.
6:32Are your Antonio Williams bags cooked?
6:34A little bit, man. A little bit. Awesome video today. Thank you, man.
6:38Video is fire. Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
6:41Did you do a trade in Founding Fathers?
6:43I have too many tight ends.
6:45Touch grass and you can touch the draft board next to Chris Rodriguez. He got steamed up today.
6:49Back-to-back quick streams. My little brother giving me about it. Dude, chill.
6:54We're streaming every day. We got so many days. We're We're more We're more than a month away from week one kickoff.
7:01We got all the time in the world.
7:03How do you get the green background for the player list? Uh that's from the solver. I have a link in the
7:07description. Uh it's just a draft assistant tool. Uh you buy it and then you download an extension. Uh I upload my rankings.
7:17And then I can just uh it kind of just recommends people to me.
7:22Is I guess the uh easiest way I can explain it.
7:30All right, so we are on the clock.
7:32Never know what I want to do at the one-two turn. We'll definitely take Ladd. How concerned are we about Waddle's like little I guess he had like
7:38a little injury today, but nothing crazy is what it seems like.
7:42Let's do Josh Allen. I think Josh Allen's an awesome pick in best ball right now anywhere in the fourth.
7:49Romo's in his bag with the video today.
7:50Appreciate it, man.
7:53That's what I'm saying, dude. I I've fell, you know, we we have like done super late night streams. I've been working a ton, but
8:00uh like I said, we'll we'll we'll do a draft here and then tomorrow I promise I I I don't want to promise it tomorrow, but
8:06we'll most likely do a high either a high stakes draft I I promise this.
8:10We'll either do a high stakes draft tomorrow or we will do two or more underdog drafts. That's what I'll say.
8:19You took down some notes from today's video.
8:22Says you have Yeah, I have I have the same thing, Matt.
8:26I just forwarded it to my guy.
8:28It's not a deal breaker part of it, but yeah, like you can untoggle the available only stuff.
8:40I think that might have been my doing by uh messing around with some of the back end stuff, so hate to see it, but I guess we'd rather
8:45work out these kinks now.
8:49What draft strategies do I plan on putting out? I'm not sure yet.
8:54I'm not sure yet.
8:55Probably a hero RB video.
9:04It's Gemini.
9:05People giving me too credit thinking that I could just like vibe code this whole thing on my own.
9:50>> All right, consider everything sent over to my web designer essentially.
9:55We'll get it solved in the next probably by tomorrow morning.
10:06Now, I'm a little frustrated, but it is what it is. I don't know cuz I just feel bad cuz people bought the
10:11draft guide and like, you know, God forbid they're drafting tonight. I mean, I will say it's Wednesday, August 5th, so I'd say very few if anybody's
10:17drafting tonight, but uh that just annoys me a little bit, but rather now than later, I guess, is what I'd say.
10:27Quick take on Scary Terry. I really didn't move him down that much. Uh I I I think that Diggs really hurts more the
10:32ancillary pieces. That That being like Tegel Konkwo uh who I already had moved really far down. I just wasn't buying the Tegel Konkwo stuff this year. Uh and
10:41then I moved really nothing else. I didn't really have Antonio Williams high in the draft guide now that I'm looking at it. Like I
10:50I I already kind of had things ranked under the impression that this was going to happen.
10:56Like do I even have Antonio Williams ranked in here?
11:00I have him ranked 174th. I feel like that's still fine.
11:06Maybe I'll move him down a little bit more than that.
11:10Let's see.
11:12So, I now have him ahead of Jeremy Bernard. I guess I could move him below Jeremy Bernard.
11:17Yeah, I'll move him down even lower than that.
11:23I ended up moving Diggs up to like this Let's [snorts] see. I actually have the rankings here. I moved up Diggs to
11:31right here between Worthy and Michael Wilson. I like this this is like a fair ranking.
11:35Fair ranking, nothing crazy. I'm happy to have 9.6% of him. I mean like nothing crazy, but uh that'll play. Let's take
11:41DJ Moore.
11:43Then we have three wide receivers, only one running back. And then we're probably going to go J'Darien Price.
11:49Yeah, let's go J'Darien Price. It's a nice little balanced team here. Let's just draft Let's just You guys mind if I
11:53just draft a good team?
11:58Any 10-man focused content? Probably not, sadly.
12:02Um I will say I think that Ryan Heath's Anatomy of a le- uh of a league winner article, like pretty much like his uh
12:09almost like draft guide is what I would call it. Not draft guide, I guess it's more of like a like a blueprint. It's a It's just a big
12:15article on how he's attacking drafts this year. Uh I think that his is with the lines of 10-man leagues.
12:23I don't know if we'll have a video tomorrow, but very soon. Probably Probably Friday would be my guess.
12:29I wouldn't say Terry's cooked.
12:37Don't want to sound the alarms, but consider Ted Ginn Sr. a late-round sleeper. I've been drafting a couple of him. A couple of uh
12:46couple guys to end the draft with in the 18th round, little rookie receiver.
12:54Fourth-round Byrd, are you really that high on him? Yeah. Yeah.
12:57I was actually just um I was actually Let me just get the camera angle a little bit better there.
13:07Uh too late round ain't stopping me from taking Judkins and Bucky as my two RBs this year. Hey, if if you can sell yourself on any of
13:14those running backs in that range meaningfully outscoring the wide receivers, then go ahead. It's just a matter of like kind of just
13:19understanding that you're behind, you know, uh you're behind the eight ball is I guess what I would say. Or I guess like you're
13:27kind of starting a race, but giving the wide receivers a a lead there.
13:33Strategies for drafting at the turns, I don't hate that.
13:36Love this start. Five players you have to be drunk to take.
13:39I keep on seeing that as like a um uh what am I trying to say? Uh like a video title, which maybe I'll do
13:48something like that. Uh we got a super chat here. Appreciate that. Two wide receiver, three flex, six-point passing touchdown, who should I keep? DeVonta
13:53Smith in the fifth, Herbert in the 12th, QJ in the 16th.
13:58In a six-point Wow.
14:01Honestly, man, I think I'd take QJ there. I think I'd take QJ. QJ in the 16th is so free, and in a in a two wide
14:08receiver, three flex league, I think that's a that's pretty sweet.
14:11Like you get like a free a free flex option in a league where you need to have a lot of flex options, you know?
14:22Don't mind me while I turn on the AC just a little bit. It's a little little hot and steamy in here.
14:27I don't know if you guys can feel it.
14:31What's going on, man? What's going on?
14:40Yeah, I I think that he was always going to be boom bust.
14:44I don't know. I I guess maybe I was being a little bit harsh on McLaurin. I mean, you'll see like I don't I haven't
14:48really been drafting McLaurin. I kind of already been like I kind of have already been baking in that they were going to
14:53sign somebody. I mean, early in the off-season, I thought it'd be Aiyuk, and then Aiyuk just went full uh like Antonio Brown on him.
15:01But uh any thoughts on navigating keeper stuff, or any thoughts on how the positive pick value I'll be honest, I've been
15:11um you could probably make like a very simple formula using like an AI of like uh average draft position versus keeper
15:20round, and like have a very sophisticated way to go about it if you wanted to.
15:26Not saying you should, I'm just kind of spitballing here.
15:29Let's do Let's do Jonathan Brooks, man. He's my highest ranked player, man. Let's do it.
15:33I I don't have enough of him. I only got 6.3% His prices were admittedly way better early in the off-season, but
15:39let's just have some fun, man. Let's live a little.
15:47I'm taking Godwin over. I don't know why the thing wants me to take uh Sutton, but I'm I'm kind of out on Courtland
15:52Sutton.
15:54I saw Jacob bring up a good point today.
15:56I think that you guys are going to scoff at this idea, but I think there's like a genuine chance that uh
16:02like he starts he starts to kind of fade away and like start to rotate in the same way that Sean Payton kind of had
16:08Sutton as a mainstay and then started rotating in uh like Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin, Pat Bryant.
16:14When Sean Payton they've Waddle as his main guy and then Sutton becomes the replaceable rotation piece. Uh uh Maybe going from I don't know, like a
16:2490% route runner to like a 70% and kind of allowing for more churn with like Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin, Marvin Mims.
16:31Really namely Pat Bryant I think isn't terrible. You have 50% Diggs. Good lord, man.
16:38Jacob has the Chargers dropped. It seems like there's a lot of uh There's just a lot up in the air there
16:45is what I would say.
16:47We still don't really know. Uh when he's crazy ambassador dropping. What a ball knower.
16:56So, the draft thing tool change the draft strategy? Uh I mean, the draft thing doesn't really go on doesn't really give you a
17:02strategy, but um I mean, in a 14-team league, you're still trying to get wide receivers through your flex before the wide
17:09receiver cliff, and the wide receiver cliff will still update as you go uh no matter what the size of the room is.
17:17Lamar fell to the Dude, Lamar has been falling recently is what it seems like in these rooms.
17:23Hey, great meeting you, too, brother.
17:26Uh little round 18 Odell. You guys keep telling me to get some round 18 Odell, man.
17:32Need Demone Clayborn. I have no Clayborn. I don't know, dude. I I I don't know about that one.
17:39Lane over Surratt. I I've been seeing a lot of that. I mean, I have huge Surratt bags. Maybe I'll start, you know,
17:45trickling in some Jacoby Lane.
17:49When are you and Liam going to do a high-stakes draft together? Uh that that group chat's going. We just got to
17:53figure it out.
17:56He's been a top 25 point per game wide receiver every year since 2017.
18:00It's fair.
18:02Unrelated, but what do you think of Acid Rap? Cuz I've been listening to You guys listening to the album? I love Acid Rap.
18:07Acid Rap was the actually the name when I uh last year my FFPC team, uh that I I'll talk so much about it
18:16the rest of the off-season, but uh finished 16th, and I always name my teams like a random rap album or reference or something. Uh
18:28I named it Acid Rap, which is pretty cool. Uh so, my my best team ever in FFPC is a team named Acid Rap. Uh it's
18:35one of my favorite albums. It's why um I mean, I'm I'm sure you're asking cuz back in the early days I used to have
18:40Juice as the intro uh and the outro, and it was really nice because because it was a mixtape and it wasn't on Spotify
18:45or anything. Uh I would never get copyrighted for it, but uh it's kind of a tough trade-off cuz it's like now I
18:51can't use it as my outro, which like nobody really cares. People love to about the auto-tune or whatever.
18:57My outro song is just a dude that I went to high school with, and I like putting on local guys. I like to rep for Jer- I like to
19:03ride for Jersey.
19:05Um I guess what I'm trying to say is the trade-off was I can't use him as my outro, Juice, Acid Rap, Chance the
19:13Rapper. Uh but now you can listen to him on Spotify, which is pretty cool.
19:16Because before then you have to like go over to a SoundCloud listen to Acid Rap, but uh to me it's like one of my
19:21favorite uh like SoundCloud mixtapes ever in terms of like album stuff.
19:25It's like the most polished thing in the world, but it's fun music. Uh Something that I liked growing up, but nostalgia might be carrying it. I don't
19:33know. So it's not for everybody.
19:38Let's do I'm thinking Bill.
19:43Give me Bill. I mean as you can see with his ranking I've been moving Bill up. Uh it seems like he's going to be first in
19:48line uh to kind of be the lead back. Here it seem it seems like I I really respect Ben Standig. Uh he's one of the local
19:55beat guys for Washington and he continues to pound the drum beat uh for Bill over Rashad White. So I got to
20:01start drafting some Bill.
20:1178% stribling gena scoli Yeah, so he's just boring. I mean he's okay, but we'll see.
20:21Gibbs into what dude if you can start your draft Jamir Gibbs Kenneth Walker olave that sounds pretty sweet. I'm not crazy about
20:27um olave but Hope to run into you at a barn and Jay
20:40someday probably owe you at least 10 drinks for all the fantasy help you chill.
20:45Bring the intro back dude. We live in a new age, man.
20:48We live in a new age where um you got to get right to the point dude.
20:52I clipped I I I edited the strategy video today dude. The amount of like stuff I I edited out in like that first
20:582 minutes uh you got to really earn people's attention these days, man. You can't you can't like have a you know say something
21:05in then do an intro with music and then like expect people to stick around. You got to get right into it.
21:11I moved Diggs up to Is he gone in this draft yet? He gone at 113.
21:15I I moved him I showed it earlier, but I moved him between like Michael Wilson and Zay Flowers Worthy, right in that
21:19area of like maybe like 98 or like 100, something like that.
21:25My top artist last year, I'll look it up right now.
21:30I actually don't know.
21:34I have to like pull up my Spotify Wrapped, huh?
21:37I don't really want to do that.
21:41So, wait a little just like pull it up.
21:54Hmm.
21:55I don't know how to I don't know how to look for that.
22:10Yeah, people just get right into it.
22:11It's something I try to do more.
22:13Something I try to do more.
22:17Uh super chat from Matthew. What do you got going on here? 109 full PPR start nine.
22:24Big four gone. CMC, JSN, JT, and Amon-Ra probably off the board as well.
22:30Picking from the 109. So, what's that?
22:32Big four, CMC, JSN, JT, Amon-Ra.
22:36I got to be honest, that's like my least favorite part to draft from. Um I think my highest ranked player in that format
22:42would be 109. I think it would just be Justin Jefferson for me.
22:57Think it would just be Justin Jefferson.
22:59And full PPR, especially in two wide receiver three flex, yeah. Then you take Justin Jefferson and then you see uh what running back makes it back to you
23:05cuz what? 10 11 12 1 2 3 4 So, yeah. Then coming back to you, you're getting you're probably getting
23:16one of James Cook, Kendre Miller, Saquon, Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, and Marion Hampton.
23:23Uh So, I like that. I like that.
23:30Now, we'll say that format Uh I was going to say that format kind of lends itself to zero RB, but not really. You
23:34you can start a [ __ ] ton of uh running backs there if you'd like to.
23:41I was just going to say if you if you wanted to.
23:45Probably have to take Malik Willis.
23:46Let's take Deebo here for some fun.
23:51And then we probably need to take Malik Willis here. Like we don't have any Now, here's the question for you guys. If you
23:56take Josh Allen and then you take Malik Willis, are you cool just ending it there?
24:00I think I probably draft a third quarterback on this team. This is probably going to be a three This might be a 3663.
24:08Get a little weird.
24:10I don't know yet.
24:17Just got Kincaid at 138. Is it tad early?
24:21You got him at what Where did you get him at? 138.
24:24Hope you're Hope you're well, too, brother.
24:26I was really into Rachaad White early, but it seems like now I'm starting to really change gears. We have the We know
24:32that year two running backs take a big jump. Of course, day three year two guys are a little bit more wonky, right? You
24:36can think back to Elijah Mitchell. You can think back to Damien Pierce.
24:40Day three year two running backs, you can think back to I don't know. There's just been a Bucky Irving last year. There's been a lot of
24:47disappointment, but he's so free and I want pieces of this Washington offense where David Blau in the mix, and Daniel's bounced back. Offensive line is
24:55awesome.
24:56Uh this this offense should be fun.
25:00After Olave was able to get Waddle and Monty, I don't hate that. Montgomery, here's what I'll say is it did seem like
25:05so in the strategy video I just posted, I talked about the RB dead zone. And the RB dead zone is so tricky because
25:12you have to have upside to outscore the wide receivers in this range.
25:16But that doesn't necessarily mean that like youth means upside and like old guys don't mean upside cuz some of the hits
25:22in that range, I was looking through it, uh was like Alvin Kamara in 2024. If you guys remember that, he was at 19.8
25:28points per game Kamara that year as uh what looked like a dead zone running back, old, receptions, volume.
25:36And he paid off. So, if Montgomery, you know, the upside case for Montgomery is Joe Mixon in 2024. And if he's Joe Mixon
25:42in 2024 he's one of the biggest hits in that range. So, I can't just definitively say, "Oh, well, David Montgomery is like a projection-based
25:48back in the dead zone, you fade him." I think it's a little more nuanced than that. I think you can make cases for all
25:53the guys in that range. Um I think for me it just comes down to how many running backs I have to that part
25:59in the draft.
26:01And it also depends on what range of guys are available. I think in some home leagues, you're going to have to turn
26:04down Luther Burden or Jaylen Waddle.
26:07Um It's a little bit more unclear like that round five, six area. Uh in like sharp leagues though, it starts to get a lot
26:14closer when you're debating between like Jordan Addison, Marvin Harrison Jr.
26:18versus like See, that didn't happen in this one here.
26:24This one it's tougher. I like Davante versus these options, Jameson Williams versus these options.
26:30It's tougher.
26:41Yeah, the dream I'm starting to back off my James Cook take a little bit. I still have him at my one I think I have him
26:47111 and then 110 and a half PPR.
26:50Um I'm backing off of it a little bit.
26:53Uh, I'll also say if the Tampa Bay guy is still in here, check the draft guide.
26:57It looks like maybe I think the draft guide got resolved.
27:01It seems like you can mess around with stuff now.
27:04Or no?
27:07It only populates if you're if you like strength the screen. All right, I'm have to report that as well.
27:18Seems like it's working on mobile.
27:20Grown men listening to Tate McRae.
27:23Yo, chill.
27:25Never three quarterbacks with Josh. I guess the the only reason I was debating it is just cuz like Malik Willis sucks.
27:30Or not that he sucks, he's just like he's fine.
27:33Um, It's not that he sucks. I'll let me let me revert that statement. It's it's that he's just in a lower tier
27:42uh, of what I'm usually comfortable with as my QB2. That's what I'm trying to say.
27:47Uh, let's take Brevin Strange.
27:52All right, I'll say I'm going to update the rankings in the morning. I'm definitely going to move Kenyon Sadiq down after the injury stuff today. I
27:57just wanted to get the Diggs stuff up, but tomorrow I'll push out a big rankings update.
28:04Do Jonah Coleman here.
28:11No, 3-4 return Loveland is absolutely fine, man.
28:14Timothy hating on great music. Uh, the only Tate McRae song I listen to is the Does he have a song with Morgan Wallen?
28:20Or does she?
28:25The thing about Rashod Bateman is that he's not really that good of a running back.
28:34Uh, I don't know if I could say that Tate's floor is Tate or uh, that Tate's floor is Tater Tot McMillan last year.
28:40But what I will say is his like his baseline expectation should be what Tater Tot McMillan was last year. And we
28:45were paying round three, four prices for Mcmillan and Carnell Tate is like round five, six. So, he's a value. Do you
28:51think Brooks is a good draft he's there in the ninth? Absolutely, dude. I like Brooks and I'm not really willing to
28:57scoff at any Brooks stuff.
29:08Like I'm trying to see like what my target round for him is.
29:11I know that we've seen him go high in the high stakes stuff, but yeah, I mean I have I have him as a round eight
29:15target. If he's there in the in round eight, I'm absolutely fine with Jonathan Brooks. And I'd say even his size like
29:19round seven.
29:20Gap between Burden and Rome.
29:24Rome hasn't Rome has like a small stretch of being good.
29:30Am I buying the Denzel Boston hype? I mean I'm drafting him here and there.
29:35I'm only I'm just backing off slightly because I I I'm trying to I'm trying to sift through whether or not it's me wanting James Cook to get
29:43the receiving role.
29:45Cuz if he doesn't get the receiving role, then he's probably a bad pick.
29:52He was what? 18 points per game last year. If he doesn't get the If he has the same exact receiving role,
29:57and he regresses efficiency, and he's like a 16.5 point per game guy as like the 10th overall pick, it's probably a small loss
30:06thinking through it.
30:10So, that's kind of the issue.
30:11But it all comes out to how convicted you are on Carmichael coming over calling plays, uh unlocking his upside or not calling
30:19plays. I think uh Brady will still call the plays. It comes down to if Carmichael is going to have any input at
30:26all. If they decide to go to the drawing board and say, "Let's throw the ball to James Cook."
30:31Yeah, that's the issue is is Carolina had a top 10 offensive line heading into the off season and all of the sudden
30:36it's like now bottom 10.
30:38Cuz everybody's banged up.
30:43People overthinking Kyren? Honestly, no.
30:46Uh he wasn't like some smash pick last year. He was fine. Uh like in terms of like the wins above replacement stuff,
30:52like he was fine uh last year. And then you also just have more and more concern over Blake Corum taking away more work. To me he's
30:59like he's a fine pick where he goes. I'm not crazy about it, but I'm really on only tempted to take him
31:06when We're not going to take Antonio Williams here.
31:13I don't even like Malik Washington, but I guess we'll take him.
31:26Yeah, I'm working on something that kind of maps that out.
31:31Like your point per game X because then you can position by position you can map out a point per game expectation at each
31:37draft price in terms of what actually pays off.
31:53I'm personally St. Brown at the 1.05, but I know it's not sexy.
31:59I just think like literally his floor is like damn near 18 points per game as long as he doesn't get hurt.
32:04And he's been someone that's super healthy.
32:07Any guys you have at 20% exposure? I always get asked about my exposure. I'm very vanilla with my exposures.
32:12Um I mean I'll show it.
32:16I have a few guys over 20%. Yeah, I have Garrett Wilson, Tyjae Spears, Tee Higgins.
32:21These are my top guys.
32:25Going to be cooling way off on Kenyon Drake though. Him him like missing time and being hurt or whatever is an issue.
32:31When's your draft? Uh for what?
32:34I have my home league draft that I do have to reach out to people.
32:37I've just been so busy. I have to reach out to my boys and uh get a date locked in.
32:42And then your your red elite mates draft is on the 25th.
32:47Uh no, CBS isn't compatible just yet, sadly.
32:51All the boomer sites are really tough, though. That's all uh like 2027 goals and dreams and aspirations or whatever.
33:01But it's still I mean I I I I don't mind just crossing things off by hand.
33:05Like there's still like the the functionality of the draft guide is you can just like click on a player and just, you know, get them out there.
33:15How do you feel about Like that's what I do for the high stakes drafts. Like I I just have it on a separate screen.
33:21Hey now, it paid off. It paid off his second year. He He was like one of the guys you had to have in like week 16, I
33:26think, in 2024.
33:28Feel free to quote me on that.
33:32Um How do you feel about taking Chase with the first pick in PPR three wide receiver league? I love Oh, never mind.
33:39My bad. My bad. No.
33:41Even in that format, I'm still going Gibbs and Bijan.
33:44Here's what I'll say. I mean, I keep on harping on it. You can take You can take Chase if you want. Like I keep saying
33:50Gibbs, Bijan, Chase, Puka in any order, but I will be honest, me personally, I feel very strongly about Gibbs one, Bijan two.
33:59And then really for me, if you want to put Chase If you want to put Puka ahead of Chase, you can or you you know, how
34:04whatever order of Puka Chase you want.
34:05Uh but I feel pretty strongly about the top two.
34:09Even in a three wide receiver league.
34:16Your red elite mates is superflex again, yeah.
34:40>> Let's see what comes back.
34:42Hmm.
34:50Let's take a wide receiver first. Let's take I'm kind of down to take Cooper Kupp.
34:58Let's take Kupp.
35:03Five quar- five running backs.
35:06Dude, Aaron Rodgers in the 18th.
35:14I'm doing it.
35:16I just can't turn that down.
35:17I can't.
35:20I can't.
35:2318th round Rodgers I just think it's too cheap.
35:27I really didn't have any um plans to take a a quarterback there, but I think the way that that fell Um and I'm also kind of fine with this
35:35five running backs on this team to be honest.
35:39We hit this like if anything we're weak at wide receiver, but not even like we ended up drafting seven. I think we're
35:43fine.
35:44This is a decent little team here. We drafted this from the 12 spot.
35:48We went Jefferson, Saquon, Lad, Josh Allen, DJ Moore, Jadarian Price, Jonathan Brooks, Chris Godwin, Dalton Kincaid, Bill, Deebo, Malik Willis, Brenton Strange, Jonah Coleman,
35:59Greg Dulcich, Malik Washington, Cooper Kupp, and Aaron Rodgers.
36:06Uh main reasoning for Gibbs over Bijan is just simply I I like the Lions offense better and I think Drew Petzing
36:12uh is going to unlock Gibbs in a in a pretty massive way.
36:17I prefer normal one quarterback, but superflex is kind of a fun curveball.
36:24But all right, fellas. I appreciate everyone that came out. This is going to be one of the shortest streams of the
36:28summer, I promise.
36:30We'll do like pretty much two drafts minimum.
36:34We posted a good video today. If you're looking to hear me talk about football, go check it out. Tomorrow, we will have
36:40a longer, more fun stream. I pinky promise on that. Um but that is going to do it for us today.

37:16uh strategy video that I just dropped today. It's like Honestly, I don't want to put crazy expectations on it, but I think it's my favorite
37:23video I've made so far.
37:26I don't know. In terms of all the research I did, I edited it all myself.
37:31I don't know. It's up there though. Uh make sure you check it out. Tell me how you think.
37:36Tell me what you think about it in the comments. Leave a like on it. Go boost it all. If you If you've already watched
37:40it, like go click on it. On the mobile thing, click the hype thing. Uh I would love it if that If that video could get
37:45to like 100 K plus views or something like that cuz those videos sometimes will just completely snowball from here through week one kickoff. Uh go give
37:53that video some love, but that's going to do it for us today. As always, I love you all.
