Bryce Young

NegativeValue23:02

Bryce Young's value has dipped but is trending back up toward the 1.02-1.03 rookie draft pick range. There is significant risk in trading him for a random first-round pick unless it is a top-three selection, as he remains a franchise quarterback with a long-term contract.

Insight page
PositiveBust24:06

Despite a hot start and ranking as a top-10 fantasy quarterback, the current production is viewed as an outlier. He is not considered a long-term elite breakout, and his recent success is partially attributed to playing against weak defenses like the Bears and Lions.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveBust45:55

Dalton Kincaid's fantasy production has tailed off after a strong start, leading to concerns that his breakout might be a 'fake out.' His efficiency is high, but his limited usage and the continued presence of Dawson Knox in the Bills' offense create a capped ceiling.

Insight page
PositiveBust46:16

Dalton Kincaid is labeled a 'fake out' for fantasy managers. Despite playing 44 of 63 snaps (over 67%) in the recent game, he failed to produce, recording only two targets. The offense remains heavily reliant on James Cook and Josh Allen, and Kincaid continues to share significant playing time with Dawson Knox, who is under contract for at least two more years. Kincaid lacks the consistent target volume or role as the offensive centerpiece required for a breakout.

Insight page

Dawson Knox

NegativeRole46:45

Dawson Knox remains a key part of the Bills' offense, serving as a blocker and a reliable option for the team. He is under contract for at least two more years and continues to split snaps with Dalton Kincaid, often out-snapping or matching him in usage, which limits Kincaid's fantasy ceiling.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveUsage58:37

Drake Maye is noted for his tendency to target the tight end position, which enhances the long-term fantasy outlook for Eli Raritan on the Patriots' roster.

Insight page

Eli Stowers

NegativeInjury56:13

Eli Stowers is noted as being effectively absent from fantasy relevance, with the podcast questioning his status as he is either injured or simply not being utilized by his team.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeRole55:08

Hunter Henry remains involved in the Patriots' offense as a red-zone target, but his contract is nearing its end, at which point Eli Raritan is expected to take over the primary tight end role.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveBreakout37:10

Isaiah Likely has vaulted into the top-five tight end conversation. He is an integral part of the Giants' offense, leading the team in target share. While there is some long-term instability regarding the team's future, he is a clear breakout player who commands at least a first-round pick in trade value.

Insight page

James Cook

PositiveUsage51:11

James Cook is the clear motor of the Bills' offense, receiving heavy volume even after fumbles. In the recent game, he recorded 25 carries for 111 yards and two touchdowns, demonstrating that the coaching staff maintains high trust in him despite mistakes.

Insight page

Josh Allen

PositiveUsage52:54

Josh Allen remains a dominant rushing threat for the Bills, out-rushing James Cook in the recent game with 10 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown. His tendency to take goal-line opportunities limits the touchdown upside of other skill players.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveSleeper7:11

Kendrick Bourne has been elevated into a more prominent role for the Cardinals and is considered the clear number two receiver behind Michael Wilson. He is a recommended target for dynasty best ball leagues.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeValue60:03

Kenneth Walker is the subject of a recent 'buy, hold, or sell' short video produced by the podcast, aimed at helping fantasy managers determine his current market value.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeRole23:23

Kyler Murray faces job security concerns as the season progresses, making him a risky asset to trade for a first-round pick. While he has looked solid, there is uncertainty regarding his long-term future with the team.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout30:27

Kyler Murray is experiencing a career resurgence in Minnesota. He has secured the starting role, and his rushing floor (e.g., 10 carries for 51 yards) provides a solid fantasy baseline. He is viewed as a 'lowercase breakout' or a return to his former QB1 status within Kevin O'Connell's system.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeValue3:29

The trade to the Texans is viewed as the least favorable destination for his dynasty value. He is no longer seen as the elite wide receiver option he was drafted to be at 1.01, and buying at his current price is considered a mistake.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeValue10:19

Despite being the clear WR1 for the Cardinals, Wilson is a sell-high candidate. His target share (15%) and route share (83%) were season lows in Week 5, and there is concern that he will struggle against top-tier coverage now that he is the primary target.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeUsage5:56

Nico Collins remains the alpha and best receiver in the Texans' offense. While the addition of Marvin Harrison Jr. creates a crowded room, it may help open up the field for Collins, and his role is not expected to take a significant hit.

0:00Yo Jose, is Marvin Harrison Jr.'s Dynasty value saved?
0:03I don't know about that one Jim Future's now open What it do, it's a breaku This is Future First Podcast where
0:10we help you win today with the Future First Mindset I'm your Canadian host J-Mac here with my co-host Jose, what's going on dude?
0:18With your Spanish American host here Jose, I'm good J-Mac, how you doing?
0:22I'm sweating this Monday Night Football game out I'm sweating, I need 12 points And you're cooked because James Cook touchdown Why?
0:29Was it a pass? No This is a good way to start the show, alright Exactly, perfect for you podcast listeners that
0:37are listening to this tomorrow I'm not comfortable at all Well let's get in to the quick hit, shall we?
0:43Let's do it Alright, on tonight's quick hit, it's going to be reasons why we hate James Cook No, seriously Let's talk about the Marvin Harrison Jr.
0:52trade here Obviously, this was the weirdest way a trade could ever be announced There was a deal finalized, but we don't
0:59know who he was going to We don't know what he was going for What's your take on that first part of it, all of it?
1:08I mean, look, I don't want to get canceled by speaking out of turn about things that seem like the NFL is
1:15just trying to ignore But the fact that the reporter that breaks that news is actively engaged and owns futures You know,
1:22betting websites and doesn't specify anything And then rumors start swirling about which team he's going to like crazy I don't know,
1:29man, that seems pretty weird But I mean, I think I heard a take and it was pretty much just like Maybe
1:36the Texans just wanted to see if they were going to be 0-5 And then we're going to say, you know, why even trade for Marvin Harrison Jr.
1:46I don't know But was it D'Amico that ended up breaking it?
1:49That he's like, yeah, we're trading for him before Schefter and anybody else put it out there?
1:55No, no, no, no, no, no It broke, but D'Amico was the one that said that we were getting it Yeah, yeah
2:02Okay, yeah, yeah He confirmed the team Right, that's true In their post-game press call I've never seen that in my life
2:09Yeah, literally the weirdest trade ever, I think And you know, honestly, in terms of all the destinations that were out there
2:17I think this is probably my least favorite For like Marvin Harrison in terms of trying to recuperate him as an asset,
2:24as a valuable asset Could he be a role player?
2:27Could he be a flexible option? Could he be a wide receiver too?
2:31Maybe I don't see it with Nico Collins and with CJ Stroud as, you know, what you drafted him 101 to be
2:38Which is, you know, an elite wide receiver option in the NFL and for fantasy I think that ship has kind of
2:46clearly sailed And if you're buying at that price or anywhere close to it You're, you know, you're obviously doing it wrong
2:53I don't think too many people are But, you know, definitely try to cool your jets You know, stave off the hype
3:00of this trade If for whatever reason you're a big CJ Stroud fan or a big Texans fan Just, you know, pump
3:07the brakes Because I definitely don't think that's where we're headed with this Yeah, it's weird, man Like you said Even if
3:14Houston was like waiting to see if they were going to be 0-5 or not And that was going to be their
3:22decision, you know, to do it this year, right?
3:25Like I guess that makes sense from like a draft pick perspective Like is this going to be a late draft pick?
3:32Is this going to be an early draft pick?
3:35Either way, you're 1-4 Like your draft pick is It's hard to believe that they think they're going to be a playoff
3:42team this year With starting out with that record But I don't know That division is an absolute mess So maybe they
3:49do have their sights set on it It's also just weird That it's a very similar style receiver to Nico Collins Like
3:56they want to fill the same role, I think So I'm curious to see what the splits are going to look like With Marvin Harrison Jr.
4:05in the offense here Because does that mean Nico gets moved around more frequently?
4:09That would be great for Nico And that's what I would assume would happen here And then like is Marvin playing the
4:16X and sometimes the Z Or is he going to be like a big slot?
4:21It's weird I definitely am very curious to see how this plays out here What's your take on it?
4:28And how is it affecting the surrounding pass catchers here?
4:31Either on the Cardinals side with Michael Wilson And now Kendrick Bourne getting elevated into a more prominent role Or on the
4:38Texan side where you have Nico Collins Is he taking a hit?
4:42And all the other pass catchers there that could be taking a hit That's between Dell, Higgins, Noel They have a lot
4:49of pass They've invested a ton into this wide receiving room So just sending away a second to go get Marvin Harrison Jr.
4:57It just feels weird So give me your take here on the peripherals And what is it doing for you?
5:03Yeah, I mean Kendrick Bourne is definitely one of those guys That was probably out there on waivers If you didn't get
5:10him You know, because then he was kind of broken in the middle of Sunday If you didn't get him into the
5:18waiver run I mean, for a dynasty best ball league That's definitely somebody to go throw some cash at I mean, you
5:25know, the Cardinals do a decent job at throwing Especially late when they're behind And I think he's kind of the clear
5:32number two there now Apart from that, for the Texans themselves It feels like just a depth piece Like I'm not super
5:39worried about Nico He clearly seems like the alpha and the best receiver there Maybe if anything, this can just help having
5:46somebody That the defense thinks they have to worry about Because before that they didn't really have anybody It was Dalton Schultz
5:54And, you know, we had some hope for the Who was it?
5:57Higgins that you mentioned, right? That got hurt before And then take Del was coming back But otherwise, I don't think it
6:05does much I mean, you know, maybe there's some special connection That's something, you know, CJ Stroud can get out of Nico
6:12Collins But in terms of the peripherals, it doesn't affect me a ton I think if you were in on Michael Wilson
6:19being You know, a breakout or a large part of a fantasy team Then you can only be happy about that Because
6:26that's, you know, only good news now He is very clearly the one now Undisputed, even if before he was I will,
6:33you know, wonder if it has that negative effect Where now teams can shadow, you know, throw more coverage his side Because
6:41kind of the opposite of what we talked about with Nico Collins Now, like, can they target him more?
6:47Block, you know, block him out more? You know, bracket him, I guess is the word I was looking for I don't
6:54know, it's a little bit interesting Like Michael Wilson is not the type of guy who, like You know, this guy's elite,
7:01he's gonna do so well Now he's getting the wide receiver One coverage all the time Those sorts of things But otherwise,
7:08pretty I want to call it not a big deal Not a big, what's that saying?
7:14Underwhelmed? Yeah, a hamburger, but yeah A nothing burger kind of deal At the end of the day That's what I was
7:21looking at Ah, another rushing touchdown When we're passing Sorry, guys I have both Josh Allen and Matthew Stafford In a league
7:28where I need 12 points to win here And there's just been two rushing touchdowns At least we're going to overtime Yeah,
7:35if there's gotta If a thicker, the kicker doesn't miss this extra point We're going to OT This is the third game
7:42of overtime this week Back to on topic here Yeah, I want to speak to the Cardinals side of this first Because
7:50you made a point You know, like What does this do for Michael Wilson now That he's going to be the wide receiver one?
7:57Is he going to be bracketed? Is it going to be different for him?
8:02Well, we can see J.J. Zachariasen In his data dump here For week five He put out something that I thought was
8:09really interesting And maybe it was More so that had to do with Who they were going up against The Detroit Lions
8:16this week And they are the number one Worst defense against tight ends But Arizona used 13 personnel This week At a
8:23higher rate Than they ever had In any other week I think it was I don't Dang it I don't have it
8:31in front of me I thought he included it in here But they I don't Oh no, here it is Sorry 35.2%
8:38of their offensive plays Came out of 13 personnel Whereas Any week before that It was 19.8% So we saw a higher
8:45usage Of three tight ends On the field Which explains Tegan Quitteriano Getting two touchdowns This week Hopefully he didn't have A
8:52Trey McBride Touchdown parlay bet Like I did And just sweated the entire game Figuring out Why is this Pokemon Quiteriano Getting
8:59all these touchdowns That's That's A plus right there Yeah I was like I do not choose you Go away Anyways Back
9:07to on topic Michael Wilson Saw a 15% target share Which was the lowest Of his season He had an 83% Route
9:14share Which was the lowest Also Kendrick Bourne Had a 17% Target share And his route share Was only 60% So Something
9:21to monitor Going forward This feels more Maybe like a one-off Because they were playing The Lions here But There's a lot
9:28of Moving parts here With Marvin Harrison Jr. Being ejected From the offense here And Now we're just Kind of left With
9:35a bunch Of question marks Going into week 6 And beyond And then on top Of that too There's already Rumors of
9:43Jacoby Brissett Maybe getting pulled In favor for Carson Beck To come in If they don't Win a game Here in October
9:50So that's another Dynamic That we need to Consider For choosing To buy into This offense Because it It's probably Going to
9:57be A little bit shaky Going forward Without Marvin Harrison Jr.
10:01In this offense And A bunch of Other things Kind of Taking the way Yeah I mean If you get Any sort
10:08of Strong reactions From your League mates Or you know Your league mates Personally about Michael Wilson I think I'm Selling high
10:15Like Michael Wilson is not The type of guy Who I'm Holding on to You know For the futures As you know
10:22Some elite asset I think if people Are really hype About you know Him being by Himself and Maybe are not Reading
10:29the tea Leaves in this Sort of fashion I'm definitely You know Hoping to try To sell how I think if I
10:36If I can get Into a guy And more so An offense That I trust More for You know The end of
10:44The season Push Yeah I think That's a wise Move here Like we've Kind of always Been on the Selling Michael Wilson
10:51He has come Out for the 2026 season Kind of proving That he's Cemented himself Into that role But I still Think
10:58that there's Probably a good Chance here that That's the move That you want To make Going forward In terms of The
11:05Houston Side of the Ball I'm This This really Hurts Jaden Higgins to Me more Than anyone Because Jaden Higgins was Already
11:12the Clone of Nico Collins And now We have A triplet With Marvin Harrison Jr.
11:17It's like They're all Collecting The same Type of Wide Receiver For whatever Reason If you Listen to D'Amico Ryan Talk about
11:24Him Getting Him He didn't Sound To us Thinking about Building The team We just Want to Get as Many Talented Players
11:32On the Roster As we Can It's Like Okay But Diversify Your Stocks Man Like Why Are you Guys Building The same
11:39Way It Feels Like They're Fumbling A lot Of Their Player Personnel Moves They Just Don't Line up And They Don't Make
11:46A ton Of Sense And It Yeah I Mean Plus Nico Collins Already Missed His Two To Three Mandatory Games For The
11:53Season So Unless Something Else Happens Like You're Not Also Getting Him As A Replacement Yeah I Financing Fantasy Relevant Players On
12:00There So Hopefully It Can Help Especially For Nico To Just Open Up The Field A Bit More Yeah Man Hopefully We'll

14:17it's time for breakout or fake out are you ready let's do it man oh man i'm so excited all right we're
14:24purposefully tried to pick uh some players here that we haven't talked a ton about on the podcast more so because they
14:31either weren't on our radar or they just haven't been a priority for us in a lot of our leagues but they
14:39have been making a case for themselves to be a priority on our rosters and maybe your rosters so let's talk about
14:46them and the first one i think that we should talk about here is bryce young he's putting himself into a position
14:53here to be a candidate for an mbp race is maybe a fair way to say it i mean he i'm pretty
15:00sure he's the at least through four weeks he was the league leader in passing yards i believe is what it was
15:07he is the qb i want to say five on this season for for the fantasy season here for the 2026 season
15:14he's made ted aroa mcmillan back on the menu with that crazy touchdown game jalen coker was looking very relevant to begin
15:22the season before he hit the ir or not the ir hit the injuries and has been out for the past couple
15:29games because of it so tell me man how are you viewing bryce young now and going forward are you buying the
15:36breakout no i definitely don't think i mean at least not at this level I think if anything you're just uh feeling
15:43a bit better about bryce's young in like the the future and his um ability to be a relevant super flex start
15:50quarterback i think like you said he's in like the top 10 for passing yards and like the top 10 for um
15:58you know quarterback overall for fantasy but that's with one less game so you can go jordan love dak like all the
16:05you know all the other people ahead of him i played five games so when they take their bye week or once
16:12he comes back he'll kind of regain that because i think he was in the top three for both um before the
16:19break um so i definitely am not buying it i'm not buying it in terms of like when i think breakout it's
16:26like jsn last year right like he breaks into an elite top five wide receiver and that's where you project him to
16:34be roughly for the next handful of years you expect an elite talent or you expect you know players can break out
16:41into a wide receiver to uh court so i would say in that sense uh bryce is breaking into being a solid
16:48quarterback one slash quarterback two now do i believe that this is his form for the future of even the rest of
16:55this season no not at all i think they've started out pretty hot and maybe he's figured some things out but i
17:02think if we look back in a few years we're going to say oh that bryce young 2026 season was wow how
17:10good was that he finished as the quarterback seven and then he'll kind of go back down into you know the mid
17:17quarterback one slash quarterback um two uh range sorry for all the uh barking dogs in the background adding some ambiance here
17:24you know man bryce young is a dog so you can only keep them off the camera for as long as you
17:31can but no i i get it man like as as fun as this bryce young breakout has been there isn't anything
17:38screaming here that you know he's here to stay as like a fantasy relevant quarterback when we talk about it right it's
17:4519 rushing yards so he's not really running he's got nine passing touchdowns through four games so over two touchdowns per game
17:531268 passing yards so that would put him on pace for a 5 000 passing yard season and if you multiply those
18:00touchdowns by four you're talking around 40 touchdowns too so i think that would definitely be what a lot of us would
18:07peg as like an outlier season you know if we're looking back at this in you know 2027 talking about bryce young
18:14going in to the 2027 year i have a feeling that would be the narrative the off-season narrative about bryce young if
18:21it was obviously yeah and sorry just interjecting like the four games he's played two of those have been two of like
18:29what is projecting to be some of the worst defenses in the lions and the bears so you know you have that
18:36cushion i mean against the bears he threw for 361 yards against the lions he threw for 329 so you know i
18:43mean i i definitely think though you've seen an uh a step forward sorry go ahead no no you're good and that's
18:50that's what i was gonna say is that we've seen a step forward right and the other two games were against atlanta
18:57and cleveland so respectable defenses but nothing that's top of the league necessarily but i i was gonna say is it feels
19:05like there will be a jump in dynasty value i mean i'm pretty sure he was around qb like 15 16 area
19:12coming into the 2027 season and i could see him you know jumping four or five spots alone just based on what
19:19we've seen so far and i mean you might even be able to get those prices right now like i i let's
19:26let's wander on over to to ktc here and let's see what the crowdsource rankings have to say about this breakout here
19:33for bryce young and whether or not the the crowd is calling it a breakout or a fake out let's see we
19:40have bryce young fitting in behind i think i've gone too far yeah i think you passed him he's 33 right there
19:48so yeah qb 10 is is what the the crowd ranks are are telling us here i think that might like he's
19:55right next to jayden daniels i think that's probably a little bit of an overshot right i i would probably put him
20:02you know in front of jackson dart tyler shuck i'd rather have jackson dart for sure over bryce young tyler shuck i
20:09won't spoil it because he may be coming up here on it but so overall man it sounds like you're thinking this
20:16is a fake out yeah i mean i think if if that's what he's projecting to be or that's what you know
20:24people are going to be believing in him or even higher if he continues right that's only after what are we saying
20:31uh four games right so i mean if he continues and has like a 4500 yard season and 30 plus 35 plus
20:38touchdowns we're definitely seeing that he climb even higher so uh i'm definitely calling it of of uh not a breakout you
20:45know a fake so what about you how are you feeling i you know i it's it's hard to say the way
20:52i like to think about it is in terms of like a market value here right and if i had bryce young
21:00which i have in a few places because i drafted him in startup seasons he just was too low in in the
21:07dynasty rankings for a starting quarterback to be especially one on what i would call an ascending offense with good weapons around
21:14him i really like the the system he's in and he's shown some promise right so i was i was kind of
21:21in on bryce young going in on the season but it was more about the value and where i was getting in
21:28so i'd be i'd be happy to shop bryce young and if someone wants to give me quarterback 10 prices i'm more
21:35than happy to sell at that price but i'm also kind of happy just holding and seeing what we get here if
21:43no one wants to give me the the respect of what the crowd source rankings are saying here like there are some
21:50trades here like it's bryce young for jayden daniels straight up in a 12 teen super flex full ppr trade database looking
21:57at the otc trade database there's another one here where it's bryce young and a 27 third for a 27 first we
22:04don't know where that 27 first is but it's a 10 team league so that's a top 10 pick next year in
22:11that draft you also have ollie gordon and bryce young for kyler murray and a 27 first he's getting some respect in
22:19these trades man and they know it might be it might be worth exploring trading and seeing him you know if you
22:26can get that kind of value yeah i'm definitely i'm not super interested in picks i mean that sounds kind of crazy
22:33obviously you're interested in picks but as like a swap for a pick in some of those trades i definitely like the
22:40idea more of using him as a trade piece like if you can go trade up for the guys you talked about
22:47jayden daniels jackson dart those sorts of players that you feel a lot better including because they have the rushing upside i
22:55much rather do something like that than trade in for a random 27 first i mean i feel like that's you're basically
23:02just getting your money back then and i feel like he's his value took a big dip but it's going back up
23:09trending towards that value that you know that 102 103 in that you know in that draft hat so i'd definitely be
23:16more interested in tearing up with him if i can what about like a tear off right like what about that one
23:23about kyler murray in a first for bryce young and ollie gordon is that interesting to you yeah i mean kyler has
23:30looked okay i mean i guess you know if you're very solid at the qb1 i don't want to hurt my team
23:38that bad because we still don't know kyler murray is in the situation where he could find himself without a job you
23:45know come the end of the season so then looking into next year you're in a situation where you just gave up
23:52a franchise quarterback who has a long-term contract for that for a random first obviously we're talking about top three pick then
23:59you're changing the equation way more but i'm just saying i think there is a lot of risk in that where you're
24:06not getting as much value as if you are just tearing up if you can yeah there's we might talk about kyler
24:14murray here also so let's kind of save our words on kyler murray there a little bit because i think there's there's
24:21some stuff worth talking about there but you have any closing statements here on bryce young or should we just move on
24:28to the next one on our list here no i think we can hit the next quarterback let's talk about him he
24:35is the new orleans saints starting quarterback tyler shuck was a second round pick in the 2025 draft wasn't highly like a
24:42high prospect coming out of that draft class i think there were some analysts out there who were really high on tyler
24:50shuck but it wasn't like an overwhelming enthusiasm here but he took over the job and i think was like week seven
24:57week eight of the 2025 season and hasn't let go of it and he's looked pretty good i mean for the most
25:04part like good enough to keep the job and good enough to keep the hype going but even to this hot start
25:11that they've had this year the shine is kind of starting to wear off over these past couple games here that the
25:18saints are are no longer getting that kind of um you know that that buzz that that people were having with them
25:25in the off season here so how are you feeling about Tyler Shuck so far and his performance in 2026 it's been
25:33up and down right i mean he started and it was looking like okay maybe shuck really is going to be the
25:40truth really is the guy and then especially this last week oof that was a a real rough game but you know
25:47i mean he played what the best defense i think most people are saying right it was the vikings right i'm not
25:54mistaken so you know it's it's here miss like he is a sophomore quarterback who was not like highly touted in terms
26:01of like his talent coming out of school kind of reminded me a little bit like like uh like dac or one
26:09of these guys that got drafted a bit later jalen hurts like he wasn't meant to be a franchise saver and now
26:16he kind of is looking like it um i think the saints are in a great spot with that where they don't
26:23have to commit to him any like very quickly here so um i'm still in i don't it's hard to say and
26:30i don't want to ride the fence so i'll take the big swing and say the breakout's still here the breakout's still
26:37coming it's tempered a little bit but i think it's still happening i think we could still see a a qb a
26:45very solid like if you tell me in the next couple years that you know i guess since we were talking about
26:52him bryce young and tyler shuck are going around the same area or you know comparable i i wouldn't be so surprised
26:59i i think maybe it takes a a gap here bryce young continues to play the way he is but uh i'm
27:06gonna go for the breakout i'm gonna take the big swing i believed in it before the season i'm not going to
27:13be deterred and reactionary to these kind of couple bad games when we did see him play some couple games of really
27:20good football so i'm still going to believe in the breakout yeah and to me too like i think it matters like
27:28where we are calling this breakout to happen right i think he he keeps the starting gig and i think he's the
27:35starting quarterback going forward i think it's going to take a pretty severe downfall of him just throwing turning the ball over
27:42multiple times for for multiple games for there to be any even calling for his job but we have to like we
27:49have to be aware that that's a reality here right he wasn't a highly drafted prospect and that as soon as the
27:56the stats or the performances start to waver there is going to be the doubters more than happy to jump on and
28:04pile on him and you know call for his job which we saw happen with you know brock purdy right brock purdy
28:11went through something very similar he was able to shake it and like that that's been kind of put to bed and
28:18it hasn't been that sense and this is obviously not the same thing either because mark purdy was a seventh round pick
28:25right and like this is clearly not the same thing and tyler shuck's also old right he's 20 26 years old already
28:32too right so he's got plenty of starts under his belt he knows what he's doing he's experienced he has a great
28:40play caller with kellen moore they want to move the ball and that's really what i attribute this past week against the
28:47vikings i think they only had like 42 attempts or like 42 dropbacks total against the vikings which was their lowest by
28:54far on the season like they're normally up in the 60s of how many plays they're running and that's what the vikings
29:01do they they suffocate you they're they're so good they need to be respected as one of the top defenses here and
29:08probably a defense where you're considering benching players against them going forward at least that's the way i'm i'm kind of thinking
29:15about them and and approaching it it's crazy to me that that they're 5-0 and that they haven't looked any bit of
29:23you know good on offense here yeah i mean i think this this week they got a little bit more on track
29:30to offense you saw kyler connect with justin jefferson i mean look like sometimes you just really do have to do the
29:37meme and say eff it my elite wide receivers down there in triple coverage i'm gonna trust that he's gonna make a
29:44play kyler looked a little bit better he ran better we have to remember kyler barely got to play in this offense
29:51and now he's starting to get the wheels going so but when you have an elite defense like that you can win
29:59you know ugly games because you have that defense all you need to do as kyler and the offense is not you
30:06know be horrendous turning the ball over i don't know if you want to jump to kyler since he's the next guy
30:13did you have more to say no i do i just want to close the book on tyler shuck it sounds like
30:20we're calling him a breakout but yeah let's move forward here into kyler it feels weird to put kyler in a breakout
30:27or fake out kind of situation here since he's been in the league for as long as he's been but this is
30:35really a a new beginning for him and like a new start to his career right and it's interesting how things have
30:42played out for him right he he played like two snaps in that first game before getting injured with a concussion then
30:49was out for the next two games where we saw carson wins but has been back since and winning football games right
30:56you know it hasn't been a great box score wise or fantasy score wise for kyler murray this past week like you're
31:03saying was a little bit better we got a 20 point performance i think from him and mostly on the back of
31:10rushing i think i saw like he had like nine nine scrambles or something 10 for 51 yeah 10 for 51 which
31:18is a great style line for a quarterback to have a great baseline for them to have and it's also interesting we
31:25have the vikings shipping out jj mccarthy to the giants for a seventh round pick regardless that doesn't matter kyler murray did
31:32as the the vikings being a winning team right now have they handcuffed themselves to starting kyler murray going forward they probably
31:39won't have a high enough draft pick to get a decent quarterback going forward and they shipped out their only you know
31:46solid young prospect moving forward for them so it's to me it feels like kyler murray's got the starting job for minnesota
31:54and less contract negotiations go awry next season and then we see someone else come in there like a mac jones or
32:01maybe a kirk cousins reunion or something crazy like that but i think kyler murray's kind of locked up that job yeah
32:08i mean i i could see a baker-esque extension coming like a three-year 30 plus million something not crazy given his age
32:15right like what he baker did with the bucks i could see something like that coming i think it also could just
32:22be that they decide to walk away if they don't feel like they need to but with with them starting this way
32:30like you said it's going to be very difficult for them to have the pick that they need and kevin o'connell does
32:37appear to be the kevin the you know the quarterback whisperer with anybody not named jj mccarthy who you know by all
32:44you know talk seemed like got forced on him by the previous gm that's no longer there so i i'm not super
32:51aware that kyler murray is going to be like out of the league next year but in terms of you know we
32:58were talking about that previous shade it's a lot more risk to take on right but i think for kyler murray specifically
33:05like you said it's hard to call a 29 year old quarterback breaking out but he's not that much older than tyler
33:13shuck if we're being honest i think it's more of like a re-breakout into what kyler was before all the injuries and
33:20and the in the kind of how the time and uh time in arizona ended right he was never elite elite elite
33:27except one year where you finish like top three but that was on like 800 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns i
33:34don't think we see that but like we saw this week he still has that rushing floor right he still has the
33:41speed and the capability so i think him returning to a you know a running back the wide receiver to it okay
33:49we went running back wide receiver let's get it right quarterback to slash quarterback one to the back end is not you
33:56know if that's a breakout i guess from where he's coming from and hit the perception of the fantasy community i think
34:03you know you could call it a so i'd be on that train i mean we've been on this podcast on the
34:10kind of kyler murray hype train at least a career resurgence if you wanted to call it something else instead of a
34:17breakout um and i think i'm sticking with it i think we've seen a decent amount i think in the kevin o'connell
34:25offense he's just going to get better he still has to play um detroit twice so let's see what happens when he
34:32gets to play that defense and what just jefferson addison hawkinson i don't know hawkinson's injury was long term but um oh
34:39he's concussion so he'll be all right so you know uh i'm i'm with it i'm with kyler i've always kind of
34:46believed in him i feel like he's a great quarterback too to have in a super flex league uh and um continuing
34:53right down that line i don't i don't feel comfortable calling the breakout here i feel fine giving him the starting job
35:00here but i mean like we're talking about tampa bay miami and then new orleans as the the defenses that he beat
35:08and he's thrown two touchdowns there are three touchdowns in those games like no just two yeah just two touchdowns and the
35:15passing yards are there for him which are great we want to see that and maybe it comes all together maybe like
35:22you said it's it's kevin o'connell maybe we just trust in the system and that kyler murray can kind of be that
35:29guy to to fill the competent quarterback it takes to run that system i just i just don't feel like we've seen
35:36it yet but the minnesota moves that we've seen in peripherals just make me feel comfortable in calling him a starting quarterback
35:44going forward so so in that case i'll call it a breakout right i'm just gonna i'm just gonna whisper it right
35:51lowercase breakout yeah lowercase breakout right like that's that's what i feel comfortable calling it here as well i'm gonna leave it
35:58at that and by the way josh allen with the latest 32 rushing yards he got got me the win let's go
36:05baby yeah i was gonna save it for the end of the show but i was down like 70 points with kyron
36:12puka and uh kai uh josh allen and i wasn't gonna get it if the rams made that field goal and then
36:20it got blocked and josh allen had those rush shards so yeah you got it both of us over the line there
36:27um always feels good to scrape by a couple point when when you're down that much uh but yeah i mean uh
36:34that's also i think a perfect time for a break what do you say let's do it man let's take a quick
36:41break here and on the other side we'll get back to you guys with our later breakouts and fake outs all right
36:48welcome back let's talk about the next position here that we want to talk about we talked about those three quarterbacks bryce
36:56young tyler chuck and kyler murray let's talk about some tight ends here going forward because there's been a few that were
37:03definitely not on the radar of these top performing tight ends here but they need to be addressed and i'm going to
37:10start off with the most obvious one isaiah likely for the giants going here i think he was like that tight end
37:17probably 12 or 13 and drafts this startup season but he's definitely vaulted himself up to be in the top five maybe
37:24even the top three tight ends i don't have it the those in front of me here but definitely put in respect
37:31on his name and we've seen it with two different quarterbacks now like he broke out really early with jackson dart which
37:39we know jackson dart loves to target his tight ends but we saw this last week with jamis winston him just go
37:46bananas two touchdowns like nine catches for over 100 yards it was really great to see isaiah likely be the guy that
37:53i've always believed that he could be are you buying or selling this breakout here man yeah i mean it was 11
38:00catches on 13 targets 94 yards two touchdowns so it wasn't just the random tight end game where like you mentioned the
38:07pokemon earlier that caught two touchdowns he's an integral part of the offense and he was also with jackson dart which is
38:15a great to see i mean harbaugh brought him in and paid him a ton of money so i think if you
38:22followed the money it made sense it wasn't somebody that i was in redraft particularly high on but i think you could
38:29definitely call this a breakout i think this is what we've seen he's just been stuck behind mark andrews um and it
38:36seems like naggy at least here in new york and with jamis he wants to use likely jackson dart like you mentioned
38:43likes to use his tight end so i definitely it's a full-blown breakout i think if you were in on this before
38:51i think the tight end landscape of dynasty tight ends at the end of the season is going to look you know
38:58a decent shakeup i think you know you're still going to have the heavy hitters of mcbride and bowers but you know
39:05i would it be too surprising if loveland continues the way he's going and i say it likely and harold fan who
39:12we talked about on last episode continue that they could leapfrog him or at least be you know juxtapositioning with loveland for
39:19that next tight end in the pairing or the group and with tyler warren who's also now performing so i think it's
39:26going to be very interesting i mean it's it's exciting when we have good tight ends because it makes the position more
39:34valuable but it also gives you more players that you can go after it's not just like the three guys and then
39:41check out and hope that you know you have the old guy or the random dude that can score points it's it's
39:48good that there's you know a young healthy amount of tight ends to target uh yeah and so i'm fully bought in
39:55i think it's a full breakout coming if james continues to do what they're doing new york giants are first in their
40:02division it's looking like a pretty horrendous division with everybody else kind of you know losing tying there but uh yeah so
40:10i'm all in what about you i'm in also yeah i it's it's great to see isaiah likely right i mean number
40:17one in target share on his team we'll see how long that lasts with malik neighbors being the alpha there but i
40:24feel very comfortable with him being the number two target and the giants going forward in this system and especially for this
40:31year with james winston just throwing the ball all around we are getting the full james experience here that it feels like
40:38has that question has been put to bed here um which is great for these offensive weapons here on this team yeah
40:46man it's it feels really good it's it's one of those things though too is like even if the breakout's real do
40:53you sell on this breakout or or do you do you just hold and ride the wave i guess it really depends
41:00on what kind of building you have and and what you need going forward here i feel like if i'm selling isaiah
41:07likely i'm wanting a first at the very least like that's that's the minimum price of entry i'd be asking to even
41:14think about letting him go but it also kind of feels in a way fragile right like i don't foresee the giants
41:21being a winning franchise i know they're winning their division right but i i i i see that kind of maybe collapsing
41:29around them with james at the helm here i don't see these them continuing to win games going forward i mean look
41:36at what happened they got lucky to get a tie this past week here which is just crazy what was washington doing
41:43but besides the point if they do get a a low or a high-end draft pick next year do they spend it
41:50on on uh one of these top talented wide receivers coming in and then do we see isaiah likely get shift around
41:57into you know a less prominent role or are they bad enough to where they clean house and they go get you
42:05know john harbaugh's just not it and they want to move on from him and we already saw the cringe moments of
42:12him talking to a locker room maybe he doesn't win the locker room who knows it just it doesn't feel stable to
42:19me with isaiah likely i want to hold on to this and i'm i'm going to and i'm just gonna like take
42:26the ride for what it is but there's still these doubts in my mind if if this can keep up and continue
42:33going forward here yeah i mean i mean i mentioned a couple names like i think bowers and mike bride are kind
42:41of those players that are like the gibbs and the bijon where they just become almost too unobtainable to tear up to
42:48but if you believe you know if you were a really big colson loveland believer and you're still there like if this
42:55trend kind of continues how much is it to go from likely to loveland or likely to warren who you maybe feel
43:02better about i think those are kind of the moves to make but yeah i mean if i can get a first
43:09or a first plus if this continues with likely and kind of you know reorganize my team that way if i'm not
43:16in desperate need of a tight end then i definitely think you could do that if the breakout comes i don't think
43:24this is one of those players like i always do say like it's okay to just hold on to good players and
43:31i do think i say i likely is a good player i think given what you're saying though the situation and different
43:38things it's not you know bowers after the year one or mcbride or one of these guys it's it is a shaker
43:45situation which is scary and if you want to kind of trade away from the risk i don't think you're going to
43:52be giving up like the kelsey of the next 10 years who's you know a top three tight end for 10 you
44:00know years to come so i wouldn't hate that if you could tear up or you know like you said um tear
44:07sideways into somebody else who you believe just as much in or a couple first you know a first in something else
44:14or um anything like that that you need in your build yeah it doesn't feel likely but no pun intended there because
44:21i mean when we look at the crowdsource rankings here on ktc they have him at tight end nine behind sadiq laporta
44:28uh tucker craft even he's in front of dalton kincaid george kittle kyle pitts but then too when you look at the
44:36trade database here it's he's not getting much respect i mean isaiah likely and ollie gordon for a 27 first is maybe
44:43interesting to me especially if i'm a rebuilding team i like that move but here we have isaiah likely for josh downs
44:50here's another one for likely for a 27 second and a 28 third you have isaiah likely and a 29 second to
44:57go and get christian watson it just feels like maybe there's you know a little lack of respect maybe if we're buying
45:04the breakout a lot of people are calling a fake out here yeah which means good you know that could be a
45:11potential buy to flip later yeah so you know that's those are things to pay attention where if you you know can
45:19make a savvy move like that but it it is always uh a big risk right to buy a player to then
45:26flip right like a player you're buying that you don't have confidence in to then try to trade because if things fall
45:33out then you're left with a player you don't like and then you've invested more than you might have wanted to so
45:40it's always a tricky uh you know play on the market yeah no 100 it is and in doing so we mentioned
45:47dalton kincaid you know being right there right behind him let's transition into dalton kincaid who has broken out here for for
45:55this season right i mean he had another kind of a stinker game tonight um but did he has he yeah right
46:02i mean the first two weeks of the season were definitely what we all wanted to see even the third week there
46:09was enough usage where we felt good about it but definitely week four and week five it's it's tailed off and put
46:16the doubts into the heads here of maybe this is a fake out right maybe maybe we're being faked out once again
46:23after that rookie season that we had from dalton kincaid always the most efficient tight end on the field but not on
46:31the field enough to make that efficiency matter so where are you here with dalton kincaid coming into the 2026 season man
46:38yeah man i like i want the breakout to happen so bad but i mean he's 26 now and dawson knox is
46:45still in their contract joe brady who was the guy you know now he's the oc the offense doesn't seem like it's
46:52making big changes and dawson knox is going to be there at least another two years like the contract he has is
46:59not a huge like it'd be a nine million dollar cap hit but they seem to just like dawson knox as a
47:06blocker and as a guy that's just out there for the team they seem to you know like him in the offense
47:14and with these two tight end sets i mean dalton kincaid is still running at less snap share pretty much every single
47:21game behind knox it's not far behind it's only a couple percentages of snaps but if you want the breakout if you
47:28want you know what we're talking about likely or what we're talking about with harold fanning or any of these other guys
47:35is you want them to be the featured guy and or if he's out there with dawson knox you want it to
47:42be a very clear dawson knox is the blocker and kincaid is a receiver and it just you know it doesn't seem
47:50that way and it's like when you go back and you look three targets two targets again this game that just ended
47:57right now another just two targets it's like it started so promising right but then you look at it and it's houston
48:04who we thought was a great defense but maybe after all isn't and the detroit lions who are giving up points to
48:11literally everything and anybody at any time then he had to play the chargers new england and now the rams and he
48:18just hasn't been able to get anything and it's not like you know a couple of these games dj moore has been
48:26missing and going out injured so it's it's not like they've had this elite guy that you know that we've been talking
48:33about they've still needed somebody to catch the ball it's just been a lot more james cook you know uh josh allen
48:40running the ball like it just it doesn't seem to be happening so i really wanted it to happen with those first
48:47two games i really wanted to be true but i'm still going to call fake out man i think we're just getting
48:54you know booby trapped again with dalton uh kinkade here yeah no that's fair i mean even tonight he had 44 snaps
49:01just as much as dawson knocks here and 44 of their 63 snaps so well over a 67 percent target or a
49:09snap share there so i mean he's definitely on the field tonight you know more more than he has in the past
49:16where it was you know down in like the 30s or so and and we still didn't see that productive of a
49:23week from him here i mean it it just goes to show like josh allen is going to win the game however
49:30he can win the game right and they this is without a dj moore on the field right they they just leaned
49:37on james cook and james cook was the motor of this offense tonight so i mean they played a great defense against
49:45the la rams but if dalton kinkade is the breakout and who we thought he was he would be more involved in
49:52in these games where they don't have the pass catchers to to kind of make it work and that's not what we
49:59saw i mean he was involved but he wasn't the centerpiece and and dasa knox had i think he out had more
50:06catches than him tonight i know he was he had a target a red zone target that he dropped it's it's not
50:13it's not what we want from from dalton kinkade luckily you didn't if you got him in a startup you didn't spend
50:21you know significant capital on him but yeah man i think i think fake out is is probably the appropriate tag here
50:28which doesn't feel great yeah i mean if you were trying to get him at the breakout or you weren't trying to
50:35see that he's just you just need to see more involvement he needs to be more critical to the offense it can't
50:42be so you know incredibly hot and cold where just one week he's seeing eight targets and the next week he's only
50:49seeing two like that doesn't scream a necessary part of the offense and you can't break out you can't have consistency to
50:56to do what you need to do and to provide what you need to provide from the tight end spot with that
51:04sort of um usage and you know speaking on james cook you know find you somebody that loves you as much as
51:11um whoever the coach is for the bills i can't remember the the head coach's name right now um loves james cook
51:18because he'll you know somebody that will forgive you after your multitude of mistakes you go out there you fumble you almost
51:25give up the game and he just puts the ball right back in your hands you know so find somebody that loves
51:32you the way that you know james cook is loved because other running backs around the league they fumble and they disappear
51:40like they don't come back for the whole game and james you know james cook can fumble twice in one game and
51:47be okay yeah man i mean 25 carries tonight for 111 yards and two touchdowns that's bonkers josh allen outrushed him though
51:5410 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown this uh like on the stats and vibes article i put up two weeks
52:01ago i called josh allen and james cook uh ricky bobby and uh and dale from the ricky bobby stories where james
52:08cook is just like hey you know what man you know i think i was thinking would be really cool is like
52:16what if i score a touchdown on the goal line one time and josh allen just goes well how would i score
52:23a touchdown then perfect yeah i know right yeah it really feels that way but yeah dalton kinkade is we're calling fake
52:30out so i don't know let us know in the comments if you guys agree or not but let's move on to
52:37our next our last breakout or fake out here and it's a tight end eli raritan going forward of the new england
52:44patriots here eli raritan is a rookie but he's a rookie that's involved on his own team here he's dealt with some
52:51injury so he hasn't played in in all the games but in the games that he has played in he's been a
52:59difference maker it's it's pretty wild he's um the the very first week he what i'm just trying to keep it together
53:06because i feel like you threw this name in here because he's a guy you like preseason and you just wanted to
53:13talk about him because i'm like what has this guy done to be called a breakout man come on or a fake
53:20i mean he's faking you out right now to put him on the show i mean did his agent pay you what's
53:27going on here i mean i i cannot confirm or or deny here right but but i'm come on he's he's done
53:35he's done some good stuff here are we are we not on the same page no i mean you wanted to put
53:42him on this i thought it'd be you know a fun like it i figured we'd be on like different sides of
53:49this i thought it'd be interesting but i mean look at this last game man five targets five receptions for 57 yards
53:56he had he had a red zone target he's involved i think that's this is something you wouldn't expect from a rookie
54:03right yeah i'll give you that okay so that that's kind of the point here that i was going on plus we're
54:11trying to keep it on theme here with the tight ends but but i do like i do like raritan and i
54:18have a lot of raritan shares in them i am happy to see this involvement um amount to something here going forward
54:25so give me your take on eli raritan here man yeah i mean he's definitely a deeper stash like if for whatever
54:32reason he's out there on waivers probably not because you know this draft class was kind of so bad that you're probably
54:39getting him in the fourth round or or what have you but i mean if he's out there um go ahead and
54:47scoop him up if he's on a team and you're making a trade and you believe in the in the talent or
54:54an opportunity that could happen once hunter henry kind of vacates that spot then go ahead i mean new york i'm sorry
55:01new england and the offensive coordinator and vrabel they do like to use their tight ends i mean hunter henry is a
55:08red zone target he is pretty involved and does get a lot of work and so raritan is kind of just the
55:15natural replacement now that hunter henry is about to be you know 32 to 33 when his contract runs out and raritan
55:22is just barely 22 gonna be 24 when you know the switch happens i don't hate it i you know get him
55:30thrown into throw him on your taxi throw him on the end of your bench and see what happens maybe in a
55:37year or two you're you know highly surprised about what you got with raritan that's all i would say i mean i
55:44don't think it's worthy of a breakout or you know any sort of large even a fake out because i don't know
55:51that anybody was expecting a ton from raritan coming into the season so it's you know like you said it's nice to
55:58see right it's nice to see a late round kind of dart throw in a rookie draft have some notable performance or
56:06at least usage like you were saying like i think a ton of the other tight ends that have been mentioned besides
56:13like sadique right i mean eli stowers is like almost not considered an nfl player i don't know what what's going on
56:20there like he's just hurt but you know supposedly it's he's not hurt they just don't want him to play um you
56:27know a ton of the other tight ends that people are hype about i can't think of any that have made any
56:34sort of noteworthy you know play so you know it's good to have him and if you have his shares and you're
56:42at least encouraged by what you're seeing yeah on the field pretty much immediately and you know getting targeted and being involved
56:49in the offense in the red zone in in crucial plays so you gotta you gotta feel good about it but you're
56:56definitely right man there's no reason we should be calling him a breakout or fake out on here but we did save
57:03him for the last so if you're still listening go get eli raritan uh thrown in on on a trade uh you
57:10know if you can you know he broke out so it's you might be hard to get him as as an add-on
57:17here i mean he's the type of add-on that like you send that back to somebody they're like the heck why does
57:25this guy want this like that's the type of guy somebody throws in on a trade shout out to like rakim or
57:32um jay walf from the toe clan who would do that they'd throw a guy on a trade i'd be like what
57:39do you know about this guy that i don't like what then you start researching yeah exactly i'm like googling news like
57:46eli raritan news or who's eli raritan's dad like is he a famous person is he a coach on the team like
57:53what's going on here but um but yeah i mean those are the type of ways to gain value it's always not
58:01the third or the fourth it's like a random dude like eli raritan who who you like and then you know that
58:08also feels good when they do become something right like you've had the faith you made him thrown in a trade and
58:15all of a sudden he makes a trade look you know more lopsided because he became a usable tight end right if
58:22the if the league continues at least for a few more years in the 12 personnel 13 personnel status that it's going
58:29in then he is definitely going to be seeing the field like he is and maybe becomes more usable with drake may
58:37down the yeah 100 especially with drake may who likes to target the tight end as much as he does too so
58:44you got to feel good about having him on your roster if you do have them but yeah maybe fake out on
58:51my part by putting him on the show doc here to begin with maybe harold fanon would have been a better topic
58:58of conversation here but we'll save that for the next breakout and fakeout episode because we are running up here on an
59:05hour so let's go ahead and get almost into the outro here why don't we shout out some some promotional items we
59:12got going on before we hit that that outro man like i said we got the process first uh which we just
59:20released on the contending episode this past saturday so go check that one out if you haven't it's honestly like i think
59:27it's one of our better episodes like when we shut that one down i was like man that was that was a
59:34lot of fire we just spit into the mic there dropping bars like i don't know you name a man like uh
59:41you know j cole drake uh you know all those guys kendrick lamar there you go there we go that's a good
59:48one all right then on top of that too like you said we got um a bunch of the the shorts going
59:56out on the show so what's the last short that we released man yeah it was about kenneth walker and you know
60:03is he a buy holder or sell if you guys watch the episodes you know that that's where our shorts are coming
