2:06PrizePix. Run your game. Week 1 is officially here.
2:09I am Pete Nova. I am joined by Coach, a.k.a.
2:12Jeremiah. And this is First Class Fantasy. We are going to go over our Week 1 rankings to help put you in
2:19the best position to win your matchups. Stay tuned.
2:22We've got a great show right here on Player Profiler.
2:26What is going on, folks? Thank you guys so much for joining us.
2:30Jeremiah, we are here. We are live. It's going to be exciting.
2:34This is going to be a show that me and you do every single week this season.
2:40And I'm excited for it. I know you're excited for it.
2:43We talked a little bit about the cadence, how we want this to go.
2:48And I think we're ready. And these things, you know, as we get through the season, Jay, there's going to be tweaks
2:55here, how we maybe present the information. But the goal today is to go over the Player Profiler rankings.
3:02Talk about my individual rankings, your individual rankings, and where maybe we defer with each other as well as maybe with the Player Profiler rankings.
3:10And we're super excited to bring that to the audience.
3:13Yeah, it's a whole lot of fun and a little bit.
3:17Not normally on a Thursday night will we have a game that had just occurred.
3:22We'll have some reflections on the prior week. As we head to Thursday, we're always thinking of the next week.
3:29But, Pete, real quick impressions last night. Fantasy-wise, guys who got there, guys who didn't, 13-10, not the best score that you want.
3:36The Patriots did cover the spread. So if you had three and a half, they covered.
3:42If it was three even, you pushed. JSN gets there, 8-122 and a touchdown.
3:46But then, talk to us, Pete, about Sam Darnold goes down.
3:50It's a Drew Locke show. How are you feeling about Seattle right now?
3:54A.J. Brown, 2, up no injured, high ankle sprain.
3:57We had a lot of worry about that throughout the whole day.
4:01Yeah, you know, to be honest, Drew Locke looked really, really bad to start the game.
4:07There was one play towards halftime, Jay, where there was a swing route to Jardarian Price, who had a convoy ahead of him.
4:15And he had yards, and I thought it was going to be a big play, and Locke overthrew him.
4:21As the game went on, though, Locke kind of settled in a little bit.
4:26Fleury, the new OC, also settled in. I mean, think about how terrible of a situation it is where you have first-time
4:33play caller with backup quarterback in the first week of the NFL season against a team that you just saw in the
4:40Super Bowl who you know is a good opponent.
4:43Thankfully, at home. And thankfully, Drew Locke came in and played really well.
4:48Looking at this game, Jay, just some quick hitters.
4:51And then I want to get some of your thoughts on the game itself.
4:55But just from an EPA standpoint, Jackson, Smith, and Jigba led the game with plus 10.72.
5:01We had eight targets, eight catches, 122 yards, 62 yards after catch.
5:05Sorry, I think he had nine targets. Drew Locke, 16-22, 187 yards passing.
5:09Obviously, he had that one catch. Cooper Cupp was kind of interesting, too, Jay.
5:14We've talked about Cupp on a couple of these best ball shows.
5:18He goes two for 35 and actually had like a 15-yard pass.
5:22I think it was 15. It might have been 10.
5:25It was a touchdown that got called back. So maybe, I mean, he looked way more involved than Rashid Shaheed, who only had one catch for four yards.
5:34And then Jardarian Price, right? 10 carries, 52 yards, two catches, six yards.
5:39Efficient day for Price. He looked really, really good, just like he belonged to Jay.
5:44But obviously, still dealing with some of what we saw last year where George Helani, eight carries, 29 yards.
5:50And similar to what we saw with Charbonnet and Kenneth Walker.
5:54Yeah, Jardarian Price, eye test, lie test. But eye test sometimes really helps us see what's evident on the field.
6:00And you just see a lot more pop, a lot more bursts, a lot more finishing of runs from Jardarian Price, then somebody like a George Helani.
6:0910 carries, 52 yards, a 13 long for Jardarian Price.
6:13I really like what he's done. And two receptions, six yards.
6:16So nothing crazy in the receiving game. But Jardarian Price, to me, looked like the back that you want.
6:23And this is one of those things where he's not going to be Jameson Williams, per se.
6:28But if you follow me on this concept, Jameson Williams, you don't bench him because you don't want to lose a war value of spike games.
6:37What's going to happen is because, Pete, this Seahawks backfield is so valuable and you'll get it's a little bit of a
6:45tougher matchup in the New England Patriots game flow to the way it went 13 to 10.
6:50It wasn't a high scoring game. You're going to get some very spike weeks out of that backfield for Seattle.
6:57And you're going to want somebody like Jardarian Price in your lineup.
7:01And fortunately, Pete, if you were drafting, essentially Jardarian Price is your RB2.
7:05So there's a lot of pressure off the shoulders.
7:08And even though it was only a seven point performance, I'm frustrated.
7:12I don't you know, I want more points. We want more points from Jardarian Price in the opening week.
7:19I feel like, hey, if you can hit the 10 mark for my RB2 and I pop everywhere else because you're structured so well, you're not really panicking.
7:28But if Jardarian Price, Pete, is your RB1, there is some cause for concern.
7:33So you're hoping maybe zero RB gets for you because there weren't many bell cow backs afterward.
7:38Maybe you hit on a Rico Dowdle. So who we love so much.
7:43So yeah, I'm kind of with you. Price. Look, we expected this.
7:47Now, a lot of people were doubting how bad the Patriots run defenses.
7:51And so people thought Price was going to smash this week.
7:55I think people forgot Draymond Jones got added to this lineup.
7:58And also Milton Williams was gone for a lot of the season last year.
8:03And they looked very, very different, a different, you know, with Milton Williams in the lineup versus when he wasn't.
8:10So we have a couple of questions coming in the chat.
8:13We're going to answer these three, Jay. And then we will get to our quarterback rankings.
8:19We'll go quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight ends.
8:22And then we'll talk about a couple of the biggest games and maybe a couple of bets if we have some time.
8:29So Bruce Leroy comes in here, Jay, and says, what's up, fellas?
8:33What's up, Bruce? Make sure you hit the like button and subscribe if you're not already.
8:38He said, full PPR, Juwan Johnson or Michael Mares.
8:41For those that do not know, and if you don't know, then you probably are living under a rock.
8:48But Brock Bowers, Jay, gets this meniscus surgery. And now Michael Maher is plugged in for me in my personal rankings as a top 10 play.
8:56I have him at tight end 10 on the week.
9:00And yeah, he looks like he could smash this week against the Dolphins.
9:04What are your thoughts between Mares and Juwan Johnson and who you have ranked ahead in your rankings?
9:10And then who do we have ranked higher in the player profiler rankings?
9:14So for Juwan Johnson, I have him as tight end six just behind Sam Laporta.
9:19And there's that beautiful matchup with the Detroit Lions this week.
9:23High over under total. Shootout city in New Orleans.
9:26You got two indoor teams. I love the idea of Juwan Johnson just popping off.
9:31And that's just adjustability in real time. To your point, Pete, with Michael Maher being a top 10 tight end, I have
9:39him just ahead of Travis Kelsey in the ranks at nine.
9:42And I see the pathway. It's funny enough. People are down on the Raiders.
9:47People are down on the Miami Dolphins. But damn it, week one.
9:51Guess what? The poor can eat each other. You know, you talk about rich eating the rich.
9:57You're going to have the Dolphins and the Raiders.
10:00Green next to all matchups. Stat. I love firing up so many Raiders, so many Dolphins.
10:05And I don't think we're ever going to say that too much throughout the rest of the season.
10:11So I'd love to play with Michael Maher. I would, though, lean towards Juwan Johnson.
10:16You have that receiver background. And the fact that it's just going to be a golden game.
10:22Indoors. So give me Juwan Johnson. Who do you like more on that front?
10:26And I'll look up the tight end ranks for player profiler.
10:30I have it here, actually. Johnson's 11. Maher is 10.
10:33I have Johnson ahead of Maher. I have Juwan Johnson as my tight end five this week.
10:39So me and you are a little bit more bullish on Johnson in the player profiler rankings.
10:45But still, we do agree with Johnson over Maher.
10:48I think Johnson's in a really, really good position to play some catch up, potentially, if the Lions put their foot on the throttle there.
10:56Let's get to a couple more of these questions, Jay.
10:59And then we'll go over the quarterbacks. KJ, what's up, man?
11:03Said, what's up, my guys? Better flex start Mike Evans or Chris Godwin in a full PPR.
11:09You have Mike Evans tonight, Jay, in the Australia game going up against the Rams.
11:14A fortified secondary with the Rams. I have Mike Evans at 23 in my rankings.
11:19I have Chris Godwin at 28 in my rankings.
11:22I prefer Chris Godwin over Mike Evans. My start sick questions is pretty much my rankings, Jay.
11:27If my rankings have one guy ahead of another guy, floor, ceiling, don't care.
11:32Unless it's a very, very specific scenario where it's a Monday night game and you're looking for, hey, I just need this amount of points.
11:40Then it's different. Not going to fire up Rashid Shahid as a boom bus guy.
11:45But for the most part, I stick to what my rankings are when it comes to my start sits unless it's different positions.
11:53What about you, Jay? Mike Evans, Chris Godwin. Godwin's obviously got that juicy Bengals matchup as well.
11:59Yeah, I love it. And that Bengals matchup is a 50 and a half over under.
12:04And the matchup tonight, I believe, is a 47 over under.
12:08Yep, 47 and a half over under plus three and a half for the 49ers.
12:13So it's a tight bunch on the spread. So points are expected to be scored plenty.
12:18The only thing that gives me hesitancy is just crap happens in these international games that I don't love.
12:25But still, give me Mike Evans. If you look at our player profiler ranks, we have Mike Evans is 22 overall.
12:32And then you go all the way down. Chris Godwin is 31st.
12:36So at player profiler, we distinctly have Mike Evans over Chris Godwin.
12:40It's a good question to ask because in a vacuum, you could argue, Pete, Evans Godwin could be ranked back to back.
12:47Because of that shootout ability, we're going to get great fantasy outcomes for the Bengals and the Bucs matchup.
12:53But you have to understand, what have we been drafting all season?
12:57Mike Evans, round four, and then he's fallen at different places.
13:01Chris Godwin, later single digit rounds. He's risen for the right reasons.
13:05But give me Mike Evans. Funny enough, they're on different teams.
13:09And now we're sitting there deliberating. Hey, who do we start?
13:12Mike Evans or Chris Godwin? Who knew we would see the day?
13:16But give me some Mike Evans. Touchdown equity. The PPR goodness is there for Chris Godwin.
13:22But touchdowns reign supreme in our king. I think we can get one tonight with Mike Evans in the duration of the season.
13:29But talking about just this week, give me Mike Evans.
13:33But great exercise. I'm surprised your team. I would be interested to see, Pete, what the rest of the team looks like
13:40if you're in a conundrum where you have to bench one of Chris Godwin or Mike Evans.
13:46Yeah, it's a good point. And I think the thing you'll notice about the player profiler rankings is it really is all about upside, right?
13:54That's how the player profiler rankings are set up.
13:57And while there's a lot of upside to playing the Bengals, that defense is better.
14:02But the truth is there's a possibility that Godwin is not the number one guy at his position on that team this week.
14:10And Evans, if he's ceiling hits, he's got a much higher ceiling this week.
14:14But I do think that his floor is a little bit lower, Jay, in this matchup because I do worry a little
14:22bit about the Rams defense and Brock Purdy and how they'll perform.
14:26And honestly, I hate starting players in these international games.
14:29Sometimes it's always very, very sloppy games and it's hard.
14:32It's hard to really gauge sometimes how they're going to go.
14:36But let's grab. Oh, were you going to grab somebody else?
14:40Or was that the same one? There was a follow up to that.
14:44Mike Evans or Tootin at the Flex. I think it's a slam dunk for Mike Evans in that front.
14:51Yeah. Yeah. I'm with you. Let's grab one more.
14:54And then the questions that we have just hold off.
14:57We'll take a quick break and then we'll come back.
15:00We're going to go over the quarterback rankings. Sean said Roma Dunze or Devante Adams in a full PPR.
15:07Yeah. Player Profiler has Devante Adams at wide receiver 24.
15:10Roma Dunze at wide receiver 29. I'm kind of with the rankings at Player Profiler on this one as well.
15:17I have Roma Dunze decently low in my rankings this week, Jay.
15:21I, you know, he's got a, he gets a tough matchup against JC Horn on the outside.
15:26I have Roma at 39 this week and I have Devante Adams at 21.
15:31So this is a pretty easy one for me.
15:3449ers defense just stinks. I feel very, very comfortable with Devante Adams today.
15:38Yeah. I've got Devante Adams look season long fade, but not a week long fade.
15:43Funny how we get to the weekly contest in the game.
15:47Things are on the line and I've got Devante Adams 17 overall.
15:51He could be higher, but I think mid level wide receiver two is a safe ranking for him.
15:57Roma Dunze to this question. Roma Dunze, I have 24th and we got a little bit of a late week injury news
16:04where Roma Dunze might be working through something. He might end up playing, but he still isn't necessarily going to be 100% healthy.
16:12Granted, we get to parts of the year where players aren't healthy, but it's week one and I want somebody who's fresh.
16:19And this is a Matthew Stafford led Rams offense.
16:22I think you fire up Roma or sorry, Devante Adams, because while I think the bears are going to crush against the
16:30Panthers, it can be a sneaky shootout that game.
16:33Pete, I sit there and think, well, Luther Burden, Colson Loveland, it can end up being a game that takes shape.
16:40Deandre Swift where we don't get the full bullish case on somebody like Roma Dunze.
16:45And then what do we love, Pete? Touchdowns of fantasy football.
16:48Who gets the looks in the red zone? If it's not Kyron Williams in this offense, we know Devante Adams gets design
16:56looks once they're there inside the five. Yeah. Sign me up for some Devante Adams.
17:01Okay, beautiful. We're going to take a quick break and then we will start firing off through some of these rankings and
17:08answer some of your start sick questions. So stick with us and we'll be right back.
17:13You know, I get asked is AI ruining fantasy sports?
17:17And the answer is absolutely not. We've had consensus rankings available for a long time, but people subscribe to the player rankings
17:24at playerprofiler.com for super flex, tight end premium, best ball, even like offensive line rankings.
17:29Of course, your rookie rankings, your dynasty rankings, those are all available in the ranking service for playerprofiler.com.

17:43Woo. It's a good deal. We are proudly supported by Nathan and Sons, makers of underbrush remineralizing gum.
17:49The Nathan and Sons folks sent me some of this gum.
17:52And when you taste it, it's like, oh, this is what real flavor tastes like.
17:57It just didn't feel fake. It had a texture and a taste of what real gum should be because I've tried other
18:05natural gums and the flavor does not pop like it does with Nathan and Sons.
18:10And the flavor doesn't last. My favorite flavor is cinemastic.
18:13I also feel like my jaw's in better shape, not doing as much clenching with my teeth.
18:19And what's funny is it's made with hydroxyapatite, the same mineral your tooth enamel is made from.
18:24And the best part is a chewing gum that helps take care of your teeth in between brushing.
18:30And critically, there is no plastic in this gum.

19:54PrizePix. Run your game. All right, folks. We are back.
19:58Jay, what's up? Hey, fresh off the alert. I got an alert.
20:02I looked at the phone. A.J. Brown out the next three to six weeks.
20:06And it sounds definite on underdog that he's going to miss at least four weeks.
20:12So A.J. Brown, high ankle sprain, high ankle bleep, as the podfather likes to say.
20:17Very tough scene for A.J. Brown. And it kind of feels it's not like Aaron Rodgers because it's not the entirety of the season.
20:25But I feel like we didn't even get just a little taste or a sample of the boom weeks with Drake May and A.J.
20:33Brown. It's going to be delayed, denied a little bit for this first month.
20:37So tough scene there, especially at the one-two turn, Pete.
20:41We've taken A.J. Brown. Hey, tough scene, though. It happens to other people.
20:45Brock Bowers, tough scene there. So what do you do?
20:48At the end of the day, I'm a firm believer that waivers and managing waivers is a massive part of how you win in fantasy football.
20:57There's been plenty of times where, you know, I've made savvy moves with waivers.
21:02And look, it's frustrating, but this is fantasy and things are going to happen.
21:06Let's kick it over to the quarterback rankings here, Jay.
21:10Pull it up on your screen. I'll swap over and let's get this rolling here.
21:15So to start off, Justin Herbert against Arizona in the player profile rankings has him at one.
21:20Then Lamar Jackson at number two against the Colts.
21:23Jalen Hurts at number three against Washington. Then Josh Allen at number four against Houston.
21:28Jaden Daniels at number five against the Eagles. Joe Burrow at six against Tampa Bay.
21:33Kyler Murray at seven against Green Bay. Jackson Dart at eight against Dallas.
21:38Caleb Williams at number nine against Carolina. Drake May was number 10 against Seattle.
21:42And then Dak Prescott 11 against the Giants. Jared Goff at number 12 against the Saints.
21:48And then we'll just add Trevor Lawrence here at 13 against Cleveland.
21:52And we can, you know, we can go ahead and show on the screen the rest, but I'm not going to read
21:59every single name of every single quarterback this week.
22:02Anything stick out to you here, Jay? I think for me right off the bat, I have Josh Allen at number one still this week.
22:10I know player profiler has him at four. It's a tough matchup against Houston.
22:15I understand people might have some hesitations there, but I still have Josh Allen at number one in my rankings.
22:22Well, for me, I have Josh Allen. I haven't ranked eighth and it might sound crazy, but I'm right there with Lamar Jackson being the QB one.
22:31It's going to go off against that Colts secondary Dak Prescott against the New York Giants.
22:36He should crush Matthew Stafford, who I think will absolutely eat tonight.
22:40300 to 350 passing yards. Then there's Jalen Hurts against the Swiss cheese defense of the commanders.
22:46And I think Jaden Daniels and company are in some real trouble in that game.
22:51Caleb Williams, sneaky shootout to the Carolina Panthers. And then I have Jared Goff, who on the other side, I like versus a player profiler ranks.
23:00Pete Tyler Shuck is 18th here. I have Tyler Shuck as QB 11 this week.
23:05So I've got so many quarterbacks who are above Josh Allen this week just because I see more of a floor game.
23:12He's safe. And if Josh Allen pays off at QB eight this week, it's not what you want.
23:18But when you consider the Houston Texans defense, I would absolutely cling to.
23:22Can I get 20 plus points from Josh Allen this week?
23:26Escape because they can really give him fits and game flow wise.
23:30It may not be perfect, especially compared to those other quarterbacks in shootout environments.
23:35Yeah, this is one of those get back games for me.
23:38That's why I'm high on Allen here. I think Buffalo will be aggressive in this game.
23:44Obviously, they had a tough showing last week last season.
23:47Allen got banged up pretty bad. But I think this is just one of those Joe Brady got caught with his pants down last year, last season.
23:56And so did this entire offense. And I think they come back and come out ready to go here.
24:02They've had a ton of time to prepare for this defense.
24:06So that's kind of why I have Allen where I do.
24:10I have Shuck at eight this week. I actually have Jared Goff at number five, you know, game strip wise.
24:16People kind of get a little worried, like if they're up very high, you know, what's the what's the ceiling for Goff.
24:24But this is also a team with the Lions that they they don't care if they're up.
24:29They're going to continue to push the pedal to the metal.
24:33Some notable names for me, Jay, that I'm pretty low on this week.
24:37Jayden Daniels. I have it ranked at 20. I know that's pretty, pretty far out there, you know, compared to your profile rankings.
24:45And I actually had Drake May ranked at 18.
24:48So that came out, came to fruition, at least to start the week.
24:52And a sneaky guy I have inside my top 12 is Malik Willis at 10 against that Raiders defense.
24:59It's funny enough, Pete. I thought I was, you know, having to be talked off the ledge when I had Jayden Daniels ranked at 15.
25:07So I like where your head's at. I had already mentioned that the Philadelphia Eagles, I think, are going to give fits.
25:14And I'm really, really worried about the inoperable offensive line that we saw on display in the preseason that we heard about in practices.
25:22And from a maturity standpoint, is Jayden Daniels head in the right place?
25:27Is he focused? I have a good fair amount of Jayden Daniels across different formats, dynasty, best ball.
25:33So I've been a truther from day one. I remember I was in on him his rookie season, profited benefits so well off of that.
25:41Then last year, it was just opposite direction. So are we going to get the locked in VR glasses simulated playing Jayden Daniels?
25:49Or do we get the guy who isn't fully locked in and he's going to get hit in the mouth by a
25:56team like the Philadelphia Eagles with their defense? So I love what you said there.
26:01And Malik Willis, I'm interested to see what he does, because we mentioned the Raiders, Dolphins.
26:07If there's ever a week where Malik Willis really hits, it would be this week.
26:12So I really like what you said there. And I love how high you are on both Shuck and Goff, because Goff
26:19is six for me and Shuck is 11th. I think you and I are kind of doing the same thing where we
26:26see this is going to be a 50 point over under total type of game.
26:31Yep. It's wheels up for both quarterbacks. It's going to follow.
26:35Yeah. And hey, by the way, you know, there are times it's, you know, I've been called a homer, but I have
26:42Bo Nix ranked 19 this week, too. So I'm not high on Bo either.
26:47Just a little call out there. Let's move over to the running back rankings, Jay.
26:52As we're doing that, we're going to quickly grab some questions, go a little rapid fire through some of these really quick, Jay.
27:00We're not going to go too much analysis into these.
27:03If we have more time after or later on, we'll get a little bit more in depth.
27:09But let's just try to hit some of these questions.
27:12Justin said Stafford or Lawrence? I have Puka. Thanks, fellas.
27:15For me, I have Lawrence at number seven. Brown's defense is definitely not a pushover, but I have them ahead of Stafford.
27:23Stafford, I actually have at 17. I like Stafford in general, but I have a feeling this defense is going to be really, really bad.
27:31They only have two healthy defensive ends, Jay, for the 49ers.
27:35And I think this could be a very run-heavy game for the Rams today.
27:39So I prefer Trevor Lawrence in that matchup against Cleveland, which is a tough place to travel in this time of year
27:47to Florida in Jacksonville with that kind of humidity.
27:50So I'm going to take Trevor Lawrence over Stafford this week.
27:53I like where your head's at with Trevor Lawrence.
27:56And the one hesitancy is an over-under of 40.5 against those Cleveland Browns.
28:01The team that might jack up the game flow would be the Cleveland Browns.
28:05Like, they might not be able to get so much of a flow that it could interrupt what the Jaguars are doing on offense.
28:13But the Jaguars are eight-and-a-half point favorites. So we expect most of those 40 points to go in the direction of the Jaguars.
28:21To your point, why not hit ground game tonight with Kyron Williams, Blake Corum?
28:26There's so many avenues and ways, slicing and dicing, that the Rams can attack.
28:31And especially, we said it before, we hate it.
28:34But these strange island games where, especially, they're in another country.
28:37There's just something about with all the travel, the conditions, the ground.
28:41There's always just something different. Like, I just, I'm not a fan of it, clearly.
28:46But yeah, give me Lawrence over Stafford. I don't think we'll say that too many times this season.
28:52And then you break off a little hedge to where Pukunukua can eat, but you might not get ceiling that you want from Stafford.
29:00At least you're not all out heading into Sunday for your fancy matchup.
29:05Where you're like, oh, crap. You know, there goes my week.
29:08I've been waiting all offseason for this. Yeah. No, that's a good point there.
29:13Dr. Max Sauce DDJ said, Full PBR, Superflex, Mayfield or Kyler Murray.
29:17Happy Thursday. What's going on, brother? Thanks so much for being here.
29:21Make sure you guys hit the thumbs up if you enjoy the show.
29:25Help support us. I have Baker Mayfield at 12 here.
29:29I have Kyler Murray at 15. One interesting note, and then I'll pass it to you, Jay.
29:34Gannon is the defensive coordinator now for the Green Bay Packers.
29:38I don't love this Packers defense in general, but Jonathan Gannon knows Kyler Murray very, very well as he was his head coach for the last few years.
29:47I think that definitely has some play in this.
29:50And I just really like Baker Mayfield's matchup against Cincinnati in a game that's total right now is the highest on the week at 50 and a half.
30:00Yeah, I'm surprised. Our player profiler rankings have Kyler Murray.
30:03It looks like QB, it's pretty high where we have Kyler 7.
30:07Yeah, 7. I was really thrown by that personally because I have Kyler Murray at 18, kind of as a middling QB
30:142, but I have Mayfield QB 9 to follow along with you, Pete.
30:19That other side of Joe Burrow, you want some Baker Mayfield.
30:22Joe Burrow I have at 7. So I'm expecting, it's funny enough, two shootouts this week.
30:28Bengals, Buccaneers, Saints, Lions. And four of those quarterbacks are in my top 11.
30:32So I would roll personally with Baker Mayfield. And I like Kyler Murray to return to form this year.
30:39He ought to do it in the Dome. It should be perfect conditions for that.
30:44But give me what are already perfect conditions in Joe Burrow and Baker Mayfield shooting out.
30:49Man, I even love the kickers on the defense and kicker show.
30:53I just dropped two days ago. I had all about Evan McPherson and Chase McLaughlin.
30:58If you've done that move where you've waited to the last day to get a defense and kicker because you stashed bench
31:06players waiting for maybe an injury and an upside cuff that you can keep.
31:10Well, Evan McPherson and Chase McLaughlin present as very good kickers on that front.
31:15Yeah. All right. Let's get to the next one here from Johnny D.
31:19He said, I have Chase Brown as my RB1, but a little bit conflicted with who to choose as my RB2.
31:26I have Cam Scadaboo or Bucky Irving. This is funny.
31:30I have Bucky at 20. I have Cam Scadaboo at 21 here.
31:34I'm going to go with Bucky Irving. I think the matchup is better.
31:38I think there's more points in this game. And I don't really love the matchup for the Giants against Dallas.
31:45I'm a little bit worried about the Giants in that game.
31:48I think Dallas's defense is rather improved. Yeah, I've got Bucky Irving as the RB18, a middle RB2.
31:54I like Kenneth Gainwell as a good flex play.
31:57If it weren't for Kenneth Gainwell, it'd be much higher because there's no interference.
32:02There could be interference with this Dallas defense streaming.
32:05They're a good streamer. I know. I think you mentioned them as well, Pete, as a viable streamer against Matt Nagy and the Giants.
32:13As much as we like some of their flashy players, it could get ugly real quick again for the New York Giants.
32:20So I actually lean the other direction. I don't want Jared Goff this week.
32:25Or sorry, Cam Scadaboo. I started picturing different blue helmet players.
32:29Yeah, you were close. Let's grab one more and then we'll get to running backs and then we'll grab some more of these questions.
32:37This one's easy for me. Stripling or Debo Samuel?
32:40I prefer Debo here. Stripling, rookie, the travel and everything.
32:43Four rookie, prime time, big spot. And these corners are no joke on the outside where I expect Stripling to live in today's game.
32:51I don't expect them to be in that big slot role.
32:55And they added these new corners from the Chiefs with Watson and the other guy who's been doing it for a really long time.
33:03So why am I blanking on the other guy that they brought over?
33:07McDuffie. Oh, yeah. I should know that. I don't know why I forgot his name.
33:12But anyway, they brought up McDuffie and Watson. And I think those guys are going to both be playing on Evans and Stripling.
33:20And I think it funnels it to Debo on the inside to get some more work and some more short area stuff.
33:27So I think all that helps a guy like Debo.
33:30So I prefer Debo over Stripling here. And who are you going to trust, especially out of the gate?
33:37Week one, it's a veteran player in Debo Samuel.
33:40And funny about Stripling, if Stripling is going to hit your weekly lineup, you have to account for it's Mike Evans, Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle.
33:48It looks like he's got runway. And then, of course, Debo Samuel is not just going to roll over.
33:55So Stripling is going to have to earn it.
33:58He seems valuable, seems talented. But again, pecking order, not necessarily what you want to be dealing with.
34:04But I actually had this thought earlier today. I was looking at some bets, touchdown odds.
34:09Like, hey, who could get into the end zone today?
34:12And I think a sneaky play would be somebody like Debo Samuel.
34:16When they're in tight, about the 10-yard line, I could see something intentionally, purposely drawn up for Debo Samuel as Kyle Shanahan.
34:24They already have that bond. And then you're sitting yourself thinking, well, if that could already be built into the game plan
34:31or a move that they could make. I don't see that design, same structure happening immediately week one for Stripling.
34:38So for that, fantasy points. Who's going to get you 10?
34:41I think Debo Samuel could be that guy. Yep.
34:44I'm with you there. Sounds like we're pretty aligned.
34:47Let's go ahead and move over to the running back rankings.
34:51Jay, I'll cue that up here. So let's move over here to the running back rankings and just looking at player profiler and where we have things.
35:00At the running back ranking for PPR, Jameer Gibbs at number one, B.
35:04John Robinson at two, Chris McCaffrey at number three, Chase Brown at four, Jonathan Taylor at five, Devon A.
35:11Chain at number six, Saquon Barkley at seven, Kenneth Walker at eight, Martin Hampton at number nine, James Cook at 10, Stevenson
35:18at 11, Javante Williams at 12, Kyron Williams at 13, Ashton Gentey at 14, Derek Henry at number 15, Bruce Hall at
35:25number 16, Travis Etienne at 17, Jalen Warren at 18.
35:29DeAndre Swift at 19, Cam Scadaboo at number 20, Bucky Irving at 21.
35:33It's very funny. Player profiler and us will pretty much have Cam Scadaboo and Bucky Irving in the same spot.
35:40I actually had them back to back, but I had Bucky ahead of Cam, and I think you did as well.
35:47David Montgomery at number 22, Quinchon Judkins at 23, and Jardarian Price at number 24.
35:52I'm just going to read off the top 24 there.
35:55Let's go through it. Let's talk about it here.
35:58Just taking a look, Jay, let's talk about Ashton Gentey for a second here.
36:03He's ranked here at number 14 for player profiler.
36:06He talked today, was interviewed by the press, and he talked about how he claimed that he knew he was good as
36:13soon as he was able to get up when he did get injured, and he feels like he's pretty good and healthy.
36:21I have him ranked at number 12 this week.
36:24He's got a good matchup against Miami player profiler, a little bit lower on him than I am, and I thought I
36:31was still pretty low on him at 12, but I have him at 12 player profiler at 14.
36:37Where do you have Ashton Gentey this week, and what are your expectations?
36:41Do you think Mike Washington is going to be heavily involved in this matchup here, or do you think it's just going
36:49to be them leaning heavy on Gentey now that Brock Bowers is out?
36:53It's going to be a more profitable version of what Seattle has with Jadarian Price, where you're going to be annoyed and
37:00frustrated, but there's no way you're benching somebody like Ashton Gentey, and there will be even more spike week, boom weeks from Ashton Gentey.
37:08I'm right in the line with player profiler. I am 14 on Ashton Gentey, and I think the three of us, between
37:16yourself, myself, and the player profiler ranks as they come assembled, we're just looking at the fact that there's a slide down,
37:23just for the fact that Mike Washington, I think this is a Mike Washington price, where it's back-end RB1, high-end RB2.
37:30It's a great matchup, though. If there's ever a week for Gentey to hit, it would be this week.
37:36But I personally, one player that stands out of note for me, Pete, is Brees Hall.
37:42I have at 11. He is 16th in our player profiler ranks.
37:46He gets the Tennessee Titans, the lowest over-under game at 39.5 points, unless it's moved in the last bit.
37:52I see Brees Hall as just being a phenomenal play this week.
37:56He's on track to be healthy, so I actually have him much higher, and he's at 11, where maybe somebody like Gentey
38:03would swap in a little bit higher if it was unadulterated.
38:07I'm not worried one bit about Braylon Allen, but if I'm going to have any kind of hesitancy about a backfield meet
38:14between Gentey and Brees Hall, especially in week one here, give me a little concern about Mike Washington taking up some of that space.
38:22So do you share that sentiment? Are you more bearish?
38:26I'm interested. Where do you have Brees Hall? Yeah, I have Brees Hall at 18, and I like the matchup.
38:32Don't get me wrong. Jets implied total, though, 18.5 fantasy points, Jay.
38:36The way, you know, sorry, 18.5 total points. So the way I read this is you're getting two touchdowns and a field
38:44goal is what Vegas thinks of this Jets team in this matchup.
38:48And this is a game that I expect Garrett Wilson to play very, very well.
38:53And I expect Garrett Wilson to score a touchdown in.
38:56So that really only leaves the potential for one other touchdown on the board here.
39:01And you would think it should go to Brees Hall.
39:05But I just think that there's not a lot of meat on the bone for a team that, you know, is going
39:12to be in a script where it's going to be probably a very ball control game.
39:17It's going to be sloppy. Both defenses are probably going to come out strong.
39:22And I just don't know that the touchdown equity will be there.
39:26And then I don't know that Hall can make up for the lack of touchdown equity with the receiving game, which is where I have some concerns there.
39:35Do I see a world where Hall has a nice game?
39:39Absolutely. I just worry that the floor is maybe not as high because I could see him having a very effective game
39:46where he goes for like 70 yards rushing on 15 carries and catches two passes for 20 type of game.
39:53That's the kind of game stat line I can see for him.
39:57And then you're just really upset that he doesn't score a touchdown.
40:01There's just not a lot of opportunity to score touchdown touchdowns for him, in my opinion, unless Vegas is very far off here.
40:09So that's kind of my read on the game.
40:12Does that make sense in Europe? You know, when I say that.
40:16Oh, yeah. And Brees Hall eyeing for touchdown odds throughout the week.
40:20It's been plus money. It's probably going to continue to be somewhere around plus 100.
40:25So that always tells me there's times where, OK, last year, Justin Jefferson would have plus 100 plus 120 odds.
40:31And I'm sitting there thinking like, man, I can get plus odds for Justin Jefferson.
40:36Like, let me just dive in. And then I get burned.
40:40This could absolutely be a scenario where you expect and assume Brees Hall is going to bang one into the end zone.
40:47And then we don't end up having what we want.
40:51And we think, oh, my God, plus 100 odds.
40:54I'm salivating for that because we're on the other side where we're getting more money.
40:59And to your point, I do think, though, the Jets defense, because I called them out as a streamer this week and
41:06they're sub 10 percent, sub 5 percent roster ship on ESPN sleeper.
41:10They're very low. They're attainable. They're probably on people's waiver wires right now for week one.
41:15I think they're a very sneaky play. And if we run the corollary of running backs, defenses, well, the defense can crush
41:23and then the backfield can go off because Cam Ward.
41:26Unfortunately, I've wanted to see a year to ascension.
41:29Pete, it's really looking rough for them and it could get ugly.
41:33And I'm essentially of mind. Hey, attack the Titans offense.
41:36Attack Cam Ward until he proves otherwise. It's like he's not gotten the graduation from the rookie cap into year two.
41:44And then on the other side of that game flow control, I could see it where they get up because of Garrett
41:51Wilson and then we're milking and icing the game because of Brees Hall.
41:55But essentially, we're always one huge play away. We believe in the talent, but we do differ there on that front.
42:02Interesting. Kenneth Walker. He's somebody who I have down a little bit in my ranks, in my opinion.
42:08Yeah, a player profiler. We have him eight. Pete, I've gotten 12th.
42:12This matchup against the Denver Broncos. It sounds like the Chiefs left tackle may be out.
42:18They're having some offensive line shuffle problems. I'm starting to sit here thinking this could be a little bit of a trap
42:25game for the offensive production of the Kansas City Chiefs and that we might not get that ceiling game against that vaunted
42:32Denver Broncos defense from Kenneth Walker in week one.
42:35And maybe Patrick Mahomes. There's some rust there back in the first week.
42:40What do you make of that? And where do you have Kenneth Walker?
42:44Yeah, I actually have Kenneth Walker at 14. This is a pure volume play this week.
42:49No Jonathan Franklin Myers for the Broncos run defense.
42:52So we will see. That was a very, very nice piece.
42:56And he's now moved on to the Titans. So we'll see how the run defense looks.
43:01But this is purely a volume play, right? Chiefs are down to a UDFA at their starting left tackle to open up
43:09the season, which is very, very unideal. Mahomes coming off the ACL.
43:13I think they lean on Walker heavily, which is why Player Profiler has Walker as high as we do in the rankings at eight.
43:21But I have Walker at 14. I am more heavy on Travis Kelsey this week.
43:26I think Kelsey is going to be the one that finds the end zone.
43:30And I think it's a heavy lean on Walker.
43:33They sell out for it kind of thing when they're in the red zone.
43:38And then Travis Kelsey scores on like a little, you know, play action lob kind of thing.
43:44That's how I see the game going. I think Walker is going to be a very, very heavy volume guy.
43:50Kind of like a reminder of Stevenson last night.
43:53Did not look great, so to speak. A lot of it was getting hit behind the line of scrimmage or at the line of scrimmage.
44:02But Stevenson still ended up paying off for fantasy because he caught a bunch of passes.
44:07And he got a lot of volume last night.
44:10And volume is more important than efficiency in fantasy football.
44:13We know that for the running back position. So all that to say, Walker at 14 feels right.
44:19There's just too many higher upside plays this week for me, in my opinion, to have him much higher.
44:26I just couldn't stomach putting him ahead of even Travis Etienne against Detroit, who I think has a very, very nice matchup.
44:33And you love to see it. So Kenneth Walker, a little bit of a hesitancy.
44:38But we're not sitting there saying, hey, it's a full season fade.
44:42Just this weekly play, this weekly game that we have.
44:46Remember that clump of round two running backs where we're selecting between H.
44:50Chan, Barkley, Kenneth Walker, or Marion Hampton? Well, week to week, it would reason.
44:55We're going to make decisions between these players. And sometimes the player will be lower than we initially had them.
45:01It's funny. Jeremiah Love. Jeremiah Love has been a tough one to rank, Pete, because we don't know the status of him playing.
45:09You know, what would you do with Jeremiah Love?
45:12How are you feeling about him in the event that he does play in week one against the Chargers, who they're another
45:19defense, who 9.5, 10.5 point favorite, depending on the line that you're shopping, not looking good early for the Arizona Cardinals.
45:26I'm not. I mean, Love's 41 in our rankings.
45:29I think that's absolutely fair. He's 28 in my rankings.
45:33I have him as a flex play this week at best.
45:36You know, this is a game script kind of thing.
45:40Arizona could be playing from behind. Heavy pass game script for that offense.
45:44So I'm not very high on Love. Let's go ahead really quick though, Jay.
45:49Let's answer some of these questions. We'll pivot over to wide receiver so we can start getting things moving here.
45:55But Alfredo said, and I'm going to pull Alfredo because he just became a member here to play a profile on YouTube.
46:03So appreciate that, Alfredo. What's going on, man? Said, is Ted or Christian Watson someone that I should pivot to to trade
46:10Chase or just hold out with Ted or Watson as my wide receiver twos?
46:15So I think he's maybe saying as a package kind of thing, Ted McMillan and Christian Watson for Jamar Chase.
46:21It just really depends on depth, Alfredo, in my opinion.
46:25If you have the depth to move, I would absolutely take Jamar Chase here for sure.
46:30If Christian Watson and Ted are your wide receiver one and two and you're telling me your wide receiver three is like,
46:37you know, Jaden Reed kind of deal, then I don't know that I derail unless you have a very fluid, fluid.
46:44Oh, wait, here we go. He said with AJ Brown going to miss time, my wide receiver one is Jamar Chase.
46:51He's asking if he should pivot to Ted or Christian Watson or just hold out with them.
46:57I would hold out with those two guys. I think Christian Watson, you're good.
47:02Yeah, I'm not going to freak out about too much.
47:05Like we talked about earlier, Jay, with AJ Brown, like it sucks.
47:09I have AJ Brown in a couple of spots.
47:12Just be active on waivers and don't overreact too much, man.
47:16Seriously, I'm not going to I'm not going to overreact too much.
47:20Maybe the best thing that could have happened to AJ Brown, people who have him is Romeo Dubs just tanking last week.
47:27And to understand that Romeo Dubs, while it was an embarrassing performance, it was a bad performance.
47:33He is much better than what he put on tape yesterday.
47:37And the people who will rage drop or you can just easily acquire Romeo Dubs.
47:42That would be the biggest blessing to AJ Brown teams.
47:45So I would actually want to plug and play Romeo Dubs on a very cheap level.
47:50But then this is where your Caleb Douglas is, your Chris Bells, your Ted Hurst, these layered wide receivers who are out
47:58there that you have your Trey Harris is. You have them stashed on your bench.
48:03Not quite the same as handcuffed running backs, but we see injuries occur and players move up the depth chart.
48:09In the event that Emekio Buka and Jalen McMillan were going to be out.
48:14I almost said McFlellan again. In the event that they're both out.
48:18We would have been like, hey, Ted Hurst, but it looks like they're going to play.
48:23But just that thought exercise. Just understand. Just like you have stashed upside cuffs like your Emmitt Johnson's, your Jonah Coleman's.
48:30Let the week play out. You'd be surprised how injuries hit.
48:34And my God, Brock Bowers, AJ Brown. If you don't believe they can happen, what have you been paying attention to?
48:41So just understand. Start paying attention. It sucks to be this early and having to pay attention to see who can rise
48:48up from my bench and be AJ Brown. You're trying to patchwork it together.
48:53But again, to close it all back, tie it back.
48:56You're not going down tier from Jamar Chase to Watson and Ted Arora McMillan.
49:01It was funny enough when you were saying, I thought I was initially reading it as Christian Watson and Ted Arora McMillan.
49:08Would you send that for Jamar Chase? And I was like, yes, absolutely.
49:13So the opposite of that is stay pat with your Jamar Chase.
49:17So happy for you to have Jamar Chase. Sorry about your AJ Brown.
49:21Yeah. Yeah. We're all going through it, buddy. And Pete, I'll read off the wide receivers that we have ranked on Player Profiler.
49:29Number one is Puka Nakua. So we'll see that in action tonight.
49:33JSN got that beautiful touchdown last night. Great points for him.
49:36We'll see how he ends up. He's going to be safely, I think, a wide receiver one, depending on how week one goes.
49:44Amon Ross St. Brown. I love the aggression, Pete.
49:47Wide receiver three overall playing the Saints. And this aligns with a lot of our preseason rankings where Amon Ross were a little bit more aggressive.
49:56This is a beautiful schedule we talked about. And here it is in action.
50:01Wide receiver four, Jamar Chase. I think you could safely put Jamar Chase ahead of Amon Ross, but I don't think it's disrespectful.
50:08But Player Profiler, we have him for. Zay Flowers, EPA-wise, DVOA-wise, the Colts get torched in the secondary.
50:14I think slicing and dicing, Lamar Jackson is going to get there and recover.
50:19We're very high on him, Pete, at quarterback. Well, Zay Flowers is connected.
50:23It just stands to reason. Who's the other end of that stack?
50:27Zay Flowers, wide receiver five this week. CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver six.
50:31Gets the Giants. Justin Jefferson against Green Bay. Remember, Kyler Murray, Player Profiler, has as seven.
50:37So, J-Jets, Kyler Murray. Sounds like a good stack.
50:40Nico Collins, I love the aggression here. Wide receiver eight against the Bills.
50:44Defense that's not as strong as the Texans on the other side.
50:48And you have the truncated target share with Jaden Higgins gone.
50:52It's going to be a buffet for Nico Collins, who I think has been forgotten about.
50:57And I think he's going to remind people, Pete, how good he is.
51:01Chris Alave, we love him. Top ten, ninth overall against Detroit.
51:05Again, shootout city. Garrett Wilson, ten. You spoke to him going off against Tennessee, Pete.
51:10Lab McConkie, 11 overall. George Pickens, 12. So, you got Lamb and Pickens, both wide receiver ones.
51:16You could flip-flop them easily. But I think you should be safe to put them both in your top 12.
51:22A.J. Brown, pour some out for right now. High ankle sprain.
51:26Again, folks, reminder, four weeks. We're here in three to six weeks.
51:30Just expect the next month not to have A.J.
51:33Brown. And be happy if you have IR spots on your team.
51:37I just drafted a team for somebody. I drafted A.J.
51:40Brown for them. It was a standard league, Pete, on Labor Day.
51:44And they don't have an IR spot. So, I am so sorry for Buddy.
51:49Devonta Smith, is he going to be the JSN this year?
51:53We'll see. Cake matchup against Washington, Devonta Smith. Drake London, a lot to be made about Tua Tagovailoa.
51:59Is he going to be out? Does he have an oblique injury?
52:03We shall see. Drake London, 15 overall against a vaunted, in this case, Pittsburgh Steelers defense.
52:08I think they're going to be, they're a team.
52:11They were a smoke them if you got them defense because they're so high rostered.
52:16I really like that play with the quarterback issues they're having.
52:20It doesn't match the Pitts, Bijon, London talent they have.
52:23But the quarterback mess is making them a tough offense and a good offense to target defensively.
52:29Get the Steelers in week one. Rashi Rice, much has been made about him this year.
52:34Wide receiver, 16. Christian Watson is 17. Ted Arroyo McMillan, 18.
52:38Wonder if you think that's a little bit low, Pete.
52:41And Terry McLaurin at 19. So a middling, wide receiver 2 against that Eagles defense.
52:46Tee Higgins in that shootout, wide receiver 20. I think that looks like a bargain.
52:51Jalen Waddell, who we're high on, but wide receiver 21 against the Chiefs and a little bit lower total of the game.
52:59I think it's 44 and a half right now.
53:02Mike Evans. And then Jameson Williams is 23. And then Devontae Adams to round out our top 24.
53:08I will give an honorable mention, Pete, to Jalen Coker because he is a sleeper play to me.
53:14You and I in the 350 NFFC tournament football guys were starting Jalen Coker this week.
53:19And we had some good conversation about attacking that Bears defense.
53:23So what do you make of the rankings that we have at Player Profiler compared to maybe something you have going on?
53:30Yeah. And we'll be quick. And then because we got to make sure we get the tight ends and answer a couple more questions.
53:38We're already at the 803 mark. The game does start at 835 Eastern Standard Time tonight, guys.
53:44Just so you know. So a little bit of a later start.
53:48But yeah, for me, Terry McLaurin sticks out the most or one of the things that stick out to me.
53:54I am at wide receiver 26 this week. Really tough matchup against Philly.
53:59New offense with David Blau. I think there's a possibility they get off to a slow start, Jay.
54:05I think we have him at 19. So that's one.
54:08And then Malik Neighbors. I have Malik Neighbors at 17 this week.
54:12I'm fully, fully confident in putting him in my lineup if he's playing.
54:16We have him at 27, the player profile rankings.
54:19Again, I have him at 17. I just think, look, if you have Malik Neighbors, you're playing him.
54:25And honestly, the frustration out of him when he talked about like playing, he doesn't want to be on a pitch count kind of thing.
54:34So to me, it's like if he's not on a pitch count, then you're treating him as if he's playing.
54:40And you drafted him understanding that he's coming off an ACL.
54:44So to me, it's like you got to feel confident and comfortable rolling him out there.
54:49Dallas did improve their defense. Their corners are still not great, in my opinion.
54:54So I think Neighbors could have a really nice game.
54:57And then, yeah, those are two guys that stick out to me, Jay.
55:02Jalen Coker, we talked about. We're going to start him over BTJ this week.
55:06I'm very, very good with that. I have Coker.
55:10My personal rankings at 36. I have BTJ at 40.
55:13I know Player Profiler. We have Coker a little bit higher.
55:17I think I have him at like 25, Jay.
55:20So that's where I'm at on these. Did you want to talk about anybody else specifically before we move on to the
55:27tight ends and answer a couple more questions? Just so you hit on a lot of good points.
55:33I will say Malik Neighbors, I have wide receiver 19.
55:36But really, it's just a caveat of understanding. It's partly I'm in like a contest with some people where I'm trying to
55:44be accurate towards what's going to play out. But funny enough, if he plays, you're starting him as if he's a top 12 play.
55:52You're starting him as if you could expect a top six weekly outcome.
55:56But just because there's murkiness from where we're at and because of what's going on with Jackson Dart, the Giants offense, Matt
56:03Nagy, the number that the Dallas Cowboys defense has had, the chokehold they've had on the New York Giants.
56:10I'm just going to park him at wide receiver 19, basically a mid wide receiver two.
56:15But I'm starting him like he's a brand name.
56:18I hope that makes sense for the folks at home.
56:21And we want to head over to tight end.
56:24I can read off top tight ends. Tyler Warren.
56:27I love this play. Tight end one. I'm very high on him this week.
56:32Colson Loveland. He's actually my tight end one is Colson Loveland.
56:36But I love hearing that noise about Tyler Warren.
56:39Warren against the Baltimore Ravens. Loveland against the Carolina Panthers.
56:42We spoke about Odunze earlier. Well, we have Loveland so high and that's going to be in favor of somebody like Roma Odunze.
56:50So get yourself some Colson Loveland in your lineups.
56:53No question about it. Kyle Pitts against the Steelers.
56:56I'm not sure about this. This is a pretty high ranking for me.
57:00Number three overall. That's really tough. Yeah, we'll come back to that.
57:04Trey McBride for Mark Andrews. Five Sam Laporta. Six Harold fan in junior seven Tucker craft.
57:09What a name for Wisconsin. Eight overall. And you love to see it.
57:14Dallas Goddard. Nine. Great matchup against the Washington Commanders.
57:17Michael Mayer. Fresh, real reactive in real time. We did this exercise a little earlier.
57:22Michael Mayer 10. Jawan Johnson 11. I prefer Jawan Johnson, but I wouldn't fault somebody for believing in the payoff of Michael Mayer.
57:29Managed and Dynasty Leagues. George Kittle comes back tonight.
57:32I'm a little bearish on him just for the unknown.
57:36We don't know what's going to happen, but he's 12 in our ranks.
57:40Dalton Kincaid 13. Isaiah Likely. If there's any bearishness on Malik Nabors, we know other side is going to be Isaiah Likely to profit.
57:48So what's the pendulum going to be? Funny enough, in that same game, Jake Ferguson rank 15th.
57:54So Likely and Ferguson are a toss up for the Sunday night football game.
57:59TJ Hawkinson is 16th overall. Dalton Schultz. Target hog now.
58:02No Jaden Higgins. Easy targets for him. A middling.
58:05Tight end two. Hunter Henry. We had at 18.
58:08It didn't go so hot. Eli Raritan took that touchdown.
58:11Travis Kelsey. Pete and I were higher on him than tight end 19 this year.
58:16You spoke to the flow of the Chiefs and Broncos game.
58:20So he's at 19. I think we could see him end up finishing higher.
58:25To round out the top 24, it's AJ Barner, Greg Dulcich, Brenton Strange, Chago Conquo, and Pat Friermuth.
58:31So anything that stands out to you, Pete? Yeah, let's talk about Travis Kelsey.
58:35You know, I think with Travis Kelsey, I think he's being severely slept on this year.
58:41And I don't know. I mean, when I look at the metrics with Kelsey, even you check player profiler metrics out like
58:48yards after catch, average depth of target. Those were all very, very good numbers last year.
58:53I think he was in top five for both of those.
58:57I think he's still up there in targets. I don't know why.
59:01I know Travis Kelsey is not Travis Kelsey of three, four years ago, even two years ago.
59:07But this is still a very, very viable fantasy asset.
59:10I have him ranked three this week. I have Trey McBride at one, Sam Laporte at two, Kelsey at three.
59:17I love this matchup for Kelsey. I mean, think about it like this.
59:21The receivers on Kansas City could just not be trusted right now.
59:25It's really Thornton. It's worthy. And, you know, it's Rashi Rice.
59:29And, you know, that's it, right? It's not a lot of talent.
59:33And this is an offensive line that I don't think is going to hold up very well, Jay.
59:39So I think it's going to be a lot of getting the ball out quick, leaning on the run game, a lot
59:46of RPOs where, you know, sticking the ball out for Walker and then throwing it to Kelsey, like right behind the defense,
59:53behind the linebackers is how I envision this game.
59:56So I have Kelsey at three. Really, really like Kelsey this week.
60:00We talked about Michael Mayer. I have him at 10 this week.
60:04Really, you know, tight ends. Like I look, I do my tight end rankings in a way like this.
60:11Either a guy can give me five plus targets or five, you know, has the ability to get five plus targets in
60:18a game or can he score a touchdown? I'm looking for one or the other.
60:23If you're someone that can catch five passes in a game this week in your matchup, then you're probably going to be inside my top 12.
60:32If you're somebody who has touchdown upside in a very high scoring game, you're going to be teetering close to that top
60:3912, even if you don't have that top like five catch upside.
60:43Outside of that, if you don't meet either of those markers where it's like not going to get a ton of volume
60:51and also not in a high scoring game, then I really can't have you in my top 12.
60:57That's why guys like Isaiah Likely are 14 for me.
61:00That's why guys like Brenton Strange are 15. Jake Ferguson I have at 19.
61:05I just don't know how many mouths they can feed there this week in a game that I don't think the Giants
61:12are going to be able to push for points.
61:15So that's kind of how I view it this week.
61:18George Kittle is interesting for me. I haven't met 11.
61:22I'm really struggling with my ranking on Kittle, and I don't blame anybody for wanting to go with safer options like a
61:29Mark Andrews or some other guys I have ranked lower.
61:32Yeah, as you had mentioned, Isaiah Likely I have down at 20.
61:36Isaiah Likely here in our ranks is 14. George Kittle 12th.
61:40I'm bearish on him, and I said, well, what would reflect that?
61:44I put him at tight end 17. I do want to go back to, though, we have Kyle Pitts 3 overall, Pete.
61:51I have him as tight end 11, back end tight end 1.
61:55I'm just not so sure with what's going on.
61:58Granted, this could be updated in real time with what's gone on with Tua.
62:03But for me, you didn't even need the adjustment from Tua to maybe a Strand or a Cooper Rush, whoever the quarterback is out there.
62:11Bring that Brian back. It's going to be bad either way.
62:15I don't want – I'm bearish on Kyle Pitts, so I disagree with that rank where 3, and I'm sitting there.
62:22I'm at 11. Where do you have him? You have him at 11?
62:26He got him at 11. So back end, tight end 1.
62:30Yeah, I think that's fair. I'm probably dropping him down as well.
62:34I had him at 17. I'm probably moving him behind Kraft and Harold Fannin Jr.
62:39and probably Michael Mayer. I think tight end 10 is fair, right ahead of Andrews, right ahead of Kittle, right ahead of Goddard.
62:47I think that's fair. Yeah, man. Love to see it, Pete.
62:50So do you have any other recollections, thoughts, reflections, real-time reactions?
62:54Not really. What we'll do really quick here is I'm going to – we talk about DST kickers.
63:00I'm just going to shout out Jets defense before we wrap up in terms of our rankings.
63:06I don't want to go through DST or kicker rankings.
63:09We just don't have a ton of time tonight, Jay.
63:12But tell me what your thoughts are. But I had the Jets ranked at 11 this week, taking a shot on them.
63:20I think they match up very well in the trenches this week against an inexperienced offense with a new play caller, a
63:27really, really poor offensive line, and a really, really stout front seven with this New York Jets team.
63:33And now Aaron Glenn's calling plays. So I think this is a game the Jets go in and their defense rebounds and
63:41makes somewhat of a statement in week one. So I have them at 11.
63:45They were one of my favorite defenses to pick up in leagues that maybe I wasn't able to get a high one or a good one in.
63:54Yeah, they ought to be on your waiver wire.
63:57They're sub-5% roster ship ESPN and sleeper. And we just go back to the lowest total point over under for this week in your attacking Cam Ward.
64:06It can be that base level simple. And to your point, Aaron Glenn, even though it was a bad performance for the
64:14entirety of the team last year, he still made his money in his career defensively.
64:19So he's got some acuity there. And there's pressure off with the offense being handed over to Frank Reich.
64:25I'm really excited for this week, the Jets defense.
64:28Who would have thought that you would say that?
64:31And even if they play poorly from a defensive perspective, I think there's still a team that could get you 10, get
64:38you double digit points for fantasy, which is insane.
64:41A free defense like that who you could get right now.
64:45There's a high chance that they're on your waiver wire right now.
64:49If you're jammed and don't have any of the picked over defenses, there's no better feeling than that.
64:55And they have the possibility of a 15, a 20 point week from pick sixes, fumble recovery touchdowns.
65:01Like it could get ugly. And you talk about it a lot, Pete, sacks, counting for sacks and being able to get pressure on somebody like Cam Ward.
65:10Yeah, I'm with you. Let's let's rattle off some of these start sits again.
65:15We won't go too much analysis, Jay. Let's just answer a couple of these recent ones that came in.
65:21X gamer said Joe Burrow or Matthew Stafford, six points per touchdown.
65:25I know Burrow usually starts off slow, but I don't know.
65:29Also, would you play Juwan Johnson or Kittle? Yeah, this is pretty easy for me.
65:34Juwan Johnson over Kittle and I would do Burrow over Stafford.
65:38I wouldn't overthink that one. Yeah. Burrow in that shootout.
65:41I have Joe Burrow QB seven. Yeah, it's Burrow all the way.
65:45Even if like the ground game could take over for the Rams.
65:49But if the ground game takes over for the Bengals, it's dump offs to Chase Brown.
65:54It's it's utility of the passing. So give me Burrow.
65:58And I'm full right there with you. Juwan Johnson.
66:01You don't have any questions about the health and the amount of plays.
66:05There's no gamesmanship that you have to worry about.
66:08Fire up your Lions. Fire up your Saints. Yeah, I'm with you on that.
66:13Monty or Mike Evans in the flex. I'm going to actually go with David Montgomery here over Mike Evans.
66:19Just a volume thing for me. I like Evans.
66:22I just don't love this matchup this week. And I think I'm going to go with the guy that I think is
66:30going to touch the ball 15, 16, 17, maybe 18 times against Buffalo's defense.
66:34So I'm going to go with David Montgomery. Yeah, Montgomery, you just have the guarantee shorty of his role.
66:41I don't buy the Woody Marks stuff at all.
66:44And with Mike Evans, it could be volatile tonight.
66:47Ceiling wise, who has like an incredible ceiling? It would be somebody like a Mike Evans.
66:52But I think you wait a week and you wait a few days and you get the shorty of somebody like David Montgomery.
67:00I did see in the chat. Somebody said start Parker or DK Parker, Washington, baby slam dunk.
67:05We also got another one, Pete, and I imagine you agree on that.
67:10Yeah. Trevor Lawrence, Jaden Daniels. I'm glad you asked this because I've got Lawrence 14 and Daniels 15.
67:16So for me, the razor's edge is Trevor Lawrence low over under 40 and a half points against the Browns.
67:22But Jaden Daniels, I think he's in a heap of trouble, as they say in cars, against Philadelphia Eagles defense.
67:29Yeah, I'm with you. Let's let's actually do this really quick here because we actually got to pay the bills one more time.
67:37So we'll pay the bills. We'll come back. Send in your last second questions, guys.
67:42We will answer them. We'll take one more quick break.
67:45We'll come right back. We got about five minutes left on the show.
67:49Send in and we'll go rapid fire. You know, I get asked, is AI ruining fantasy sports?
67:55And the answer is absolutely not. We've had consensus rankings available for a long time.

68:22We are proudly supported by Nathan and Sons, makers of underbrush remineralizing gum.
68:26The Nathan and Sons folks sent me some of this gum.
68:30And when you taste it, it's like, oh, this is what real flavor tastes like.
68:35It just didn't feel fake. It had a texture and a taste of what real gum should be.
68:41Because I've tried other natural gums. And the flavor does not pop like it does with Nathan and Sons.
68:47And the flavor doesn't last. My favorite flavor is cinemastic.
68:51I also feel like my jaw's in better shape.
68:54Not doing as much clenching with my teeth. And what's funny is it's made with hydroxyapatite.
68:59The same mineral your tooth enamel is made from.
69:02And the best part is the chewing gum that helps take care of your teeth in between brushing.

69:57It doesn't get any easier than that. And the best part about PrizePix is the injury reboot.

70:32PrizePix. Run your game. All right. We are back.
70:35We are back. One question here. Would you trade Loveland or Drake London and Tee Higgins for Ladd and Olave?
70:42It feels like a very strange deal. Like, I don't know why you make it unless you're trying to say, hey, I'm trying to tier.
70:50Maybe you're scared off with London with the two getting made in the starter and then now this news today.
70:57But I don't know what else you would do unless you're spooked.
71:01I would say that Ladd and Olave feel like safer plays.
71:04I had Olave ahead of London and I had Ladd ahead of Higgins.
71:09So I do prefer Ladd and Olave overall, Jay.
71:12So I would say, yeah, I would trade London and Higgins for Ladd and Olave.
71:17Well, especially when you're trying to start quick and not wait duration for Dynasty.
71:22Because what will happen with Drake London, he's going to present a great buying opportunity.
71:27Right here, if somebody buys and goes for it, you got Ladd, the number one in the Chargers offense.
71:33And then Olave, the number one for the Saints with no Jordan Tyson.
71:37If we believe somebody like Olave is going to be a round one player next year who you were getting at the
71:45back end of round two, maybe early round three.
71:48Sign me up. Give me Ladd and Olave. And funny enough, if it weren't the same trade partner, see if you can
71:55go to the scene of the crime and go acquire Drake London.
71:59Maybe a few weeks where, okay, Michael Penix isn't back and ready.
72:03And there's some fear street out there. So as much as people talk about buying opportunities, Drake London, I think, will present after the first couple of weeks.
72:12Just a great opportunity for a buy low. Funny enough, you thought it'd be crazy to say something like that a few weeks ago.
72:20So absolutely. I will. We will answer the questions that are here.
72:24If you do want your question answered and you're coming in late, just tell us that you like the show and we will pull your question.
72:33Okay. I will grab Nino Pena. But then, like I said, if you guys like the show, let us know that you
72:40like the show and we'll make sure to answer your question.
72:44Nino said Purdy or Kyler Murray this week. I actually prefer Kyler Murray over Purdy this week.
72:50I took the under on Purdy's passing yards today.
72:53I have actually, I'm sorry. I actually prefer Purdy over Kyler.
72:56I had to recheck my rankings. I, I, I, again, I have a little bit of concern with Kyler in that matchup with Gannon.
73:04I think Purdy has set up a little bit better.
73:08They're both sketchy options though this week. I got to be honest.
73:12So I'll just go with the guy who's been in his offense consistently.
73:16You know, so I'll, I'll go with Brock Purdy.
73:19Player profile at ranks has Kyler Murray seven to 14 Brock Purdy.
73:23I would lean towards Purdy until Kyler Murray proofs.
73:26But if you're looking, if your matchup is one of those where you got to take kind of like a Hail Mary and you're heavily not favored.
73:35You know, you're the underdog big. You want to take a swing, an upside swing.
73:40I would go for, so if we're trying to weigh the scale, I would fire off Kyler Murray in that instance.
73:47If you are a little more even or you're favored well, I would just go with the safety and shorty of Brock Purdy.
73:55Beautiful. Jamie and Bio said they like the show.
73:58So I'll pull Bio's question. He said, play Chris Godwin or DJ Moore this week.
74:03I'm going to go with Chris Godwin over DJ Moore this week.
74:07I know I prefer, I like Josh Allen this week.
74:10I don't love DJ Moore in this matchup. Very physical, physical matchup that I don't know that that sets up well for him.
74:18So I'm going to go with Chris Godwin over over DJ Moore here.
74:22It would be bills in the more play. It's very much you can play out of structure, win out of structure because
74:30Josh Allen has done that for his whole career.
74:33So he gets a wide receiver who's like that because structured routes for DJ Moore isn't really his game.
74:39But who is a defense who can kind of hang and make that terrible and just a nightmare for them?
74:46Houston Texans. So give me Chris Godwin. Again, we go back to the 50 and a half over under total for an optimal good conditions.
74:54Buccaneers and Bengals. Yeah, I couldn't have said it better.
74:57We'll pull a couple more questions here and then we will get out of here.
75:02Larry said BTJ or Mike Evans full PPR. I prefer Mike Evans in this one.
75:07I don't really love either guy, but I would go with Evans.
75:11And then we will pull Brian. I don't think we have any other questions.
75:16Brian said Michael Mayer or George Kittle. I'm going to go with Michael Mayer this week.
75:21Player profiler rankings agree with that. So does Jeremiah.
75:24And we will grab PJ and then we're done.
75:27David Montgomery, Stribling or Chris Godwin full PPR. I will go with David Montgomery in this matchup as well.
75:34Again, volume is king and I like his I like his odds in this one here.
75:39Yeah, I go Montgomery, Godwin and then Stribling would be a distant third.
75:43Me too. Me too. All right, folks. Well, thank you guys so much for listening.
75:48If you guys miss anything, make sure you go back.
75:52We went over every single position of our rankings for player profiler.
75:56And then me and Jeremiah talked about where we agree and maybe disagree.
76:00But we are here. Week one is back. We will be back here on Thursday next week.
76:06Jeremiah's defenses and kickers audio side will go out on Sunday this week, I believe.
76:11Right, Jeremiah? And then my waiver wired show will kick off on Tuesday morning at 7 a.m.
76:16And then we'll be back here on Thursday as well.
