0:00Today I brought in one of my harshest critics to try and bring him over to the slap side of the draft boards. Buck St.
0:06Thomas was with me last weekend. I let him drive the ship. I'm going to be driving the ship and we're going to be
0:11doing a couple things. The first thing is we are not going to be following any a rigid roster rules as we opt into this
0:19draft. That's very important. I'm going to go Buck, we're going to be water today. If the draft gives us something, we are going to follow it and you know,
0:27we're mostly going to follow my rankings which means there is >> uh no chance that we select DJ Moore in this draft. Very low probability we
0:34select Tucker Kraft in this draft and uh probably a pretty high probability that we end up selecting two tight ends.
0:41Although I guess we are drafting at the 1.8 out of this draft which is not a great position to take Brock Bowers or
0:48Trey McBride. I mean maybe we get Koussa and Loveland at 56, but if I we do get one of those guys generally speaking, I
0:55I err on the side of two tight ends.
0:57>> Yeah, I mean some might say that like any pick after 1.10 is not too early to take Brock Bowers, you know.
1:04>> I I would I would generally agree with that. I mean if you wanted to take Brock Bowers at 17, 16, 15, I'm not arguing
1:10against it. Like if you want to be the guy who when you know, everyone starts posting their exposure screenshots at the end of it all is like I have the
1:19most Brock Bowers. No one drafted more Brock Bowers than me. I'd be like that is a noble pursuit, young man, and I'm
1:25happy to see you do that.
1:26>> Cuz you got that block of running backs right at the turn there and if you think you can get Bowers in one, like I think
1:32that's as good for your team as two, you know, and or one of the elite wide receivers.
1:39>> All right. So we are drafting at the 1.8 which actually to me is one of the nicer spots to draft out of. You generally get
1:45one of St. Brown, Lamb, or Jefferson. I have the most of Jefferson, but I I mean I do I I feel pretty strongly about
1:53that, but it's not like I'm ever mad >> All right, you got to take JT.
1:56You got to take JT, right?
1:57>> not I'm not I'm not taking JT. I'm taking Cedarian Lamb because >> Over JT? Why?
2:03>> Cuz Jonathan Taylor's quarterback, I don't know if you know this, tore his Achilles last year and when Daniel Jones was not
2:11on the field or playing in a reduced state, Jonathan Taylor had zero top 12 running back finishes.
2:17>> Rivers come in He walked in from his son's like high school graduation and like >> You know what you know
2:23>> Come on, man. You know what he was taking two steps back and slinging it.
2:26He was not in the game.
2:27>> don't remember?
2:28What people actually don't remember about that was that Daniel Jones was injured before the Achilles and playing through an injury. And while that was
2:35happening, Jonathan Taylor was sucking butt >> Yeah, but that's not like you can't What Why are you Okay, I have a couple things
2:42to say about that. First of all, Daniel Jones is throwing in OTAs just like Patrick Mahomes. I will say. Okay, so
2:47he's out there for whatever that's worth.
2:49>> Well, and we just get to take Kenneth Walker so we start with CD Lamb, Kenneth Walker.
2:54>> No pushback there. But listen, what about Pickens? Like why why is that not affecting Lamb at all?
3:00>> I think that generally speaking it's a this brings this brings more bread to the table situation.
3:08>> never worked. One of these ADPs is going to be wrong.
3:11>> It's It's worked multiple times.
3:12>> This one's going to be wrong. It's usually Pickens is going to be good or if Lamb is not excellent if Lamb is not
3:18making Pickens like worthy of a fifth round pick then he wasn't worth the eight.
3:23>> It has worked many times in in National Football League history.
3:28>> Look at the league right now.
3:30There was a >> Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, Saint Brown and Jamo each easily beat their prices last year.
3:40It It's It's actually in this day and age if a team does not have a second pass-catching tight end, which the Dallas Cowboys do not, their
3:48second tight end would be like a pure blocker. It would be Brevin Span-Ford, Luke Schoonmaker. It's actually condenses the passing tree even more
3:57because if you only have two wide receivers on the field and the third, you know, the I guess the fourth guy and
4:03and 12 or 11 personnel is not a pass-catcher, that condenses the target tree even more. I think you could pretty easily see Lamb and Pickens both go over
4:11140 targets this upcoming season.
4:13>> listen listen.
4:15If Pickens never went to the team, where would you take Lamb?
4:18>> Probably the same spot.
4:20>> Exactly. Now, Pickens is on the team.
4:21Lamb should go down.
4:23>> [snorts] >> That's it.
4:24>> I mean, maybe maybe I I I think that there's an argument I mean, actually I think there's an argument to take
4:29Jefferson ahead of all these jabronis.
4:31So, I got I got no issue there.
4:34But, I have I have 17% of Jefferson and I have 8% of Lamb. I was actually hoping to take Amon-Ra St. Brown in this draft
4:41cuz he's the one I have the least of, but I I I don't have a huge opinion there.
4:46>> get injured last year, JT probably would have been the one to get.
4:48>> this is a terrible spot for us to be in right now.
4:53I I'm I'm going to take Javonte Williams cuz we have the teammate thing set up, but man, that back end of the third if
5:01Rashi and Neighbors are not there and you don't get to scoop the dipperino.
5:05>> Dude, I hate this.
5:07Oh my god, you took two Cowboys in the first three picks?
5:10>> Well, yeah. Once you take one Cowboy, you are you are more incentivized to take another Cowboy.
5:15>> Yeah, but not I mean, I don't know. I'm just not in on the Lamb price, I guess.
5:19It's really what I'm realizing.
5:20>> You want to be You want to be making team-level bets. Like if if the guy this guy Woo Doggy 15 who took Gentry and Bowers
5:28is like I mean, you can you can think the Raiders are going to suck, but those are actually those are actually
5:32correlated bets. Like I'm saying on this team, the Dallas Cowboys offense is quite good.
5:37>> Okay, sure. But, listen to like if you were to take Taylor swap for Lamb and Olave swap for Williams, I like that a
5:43lot better. Taylor Walker Olave versus Lamb >> I I I don't. I I don't. I I think that I think the Jonathan Taylor price is based
5:51off of some lightning captured in a bottle that I don't know if they can retain.
5:55>> Daniel Jones didn't get injured, Jonathan Taylor would have been the 103 this year.
5:59>> Right, but he but he did.
6:00>> But Daniel Jones is coming back, so we have to assume he'll >> going to he's going to play he's going
6:04to play like butt.
6:06>> It's all right, you're IQB'ing and that's fine. I just >> I I I I am I am IQB'ing because I'm
6:11very, very worried about the Colts' ability to generate a professional offense. They also lost Michael Pittman Jr., which is kind of kind of underrated
6:21cuz I just >> like that's a better argument than what you said earlier.
6:23>> What I What I'm hoping is that they trust Josh Downs in a larger role. I was actually just reading a quote from him
6:29this morning about, you know, what they're doing at OTAs, and it was not super bullish. It was like, I hope that
6:36they expand my route tree. I hope they expand my role, but it was not him saying they're definitely expanding my role.
6:42Um >> I just think he's too good for them to I I I can kind of see what they're doing, I think, and I think Downs is going to
6:47be a huge part of it.
6:48>> I I'm going to I'm going to do something off character here.
6:52>> Okay.
6:52>> And I'm going to select I'm going to select Ladd McConkey and give us a chance to take Justin Herbert.
6:58Let me tell you why. Buck, one of my biggest fears in fantasy football right now, really one of my biggest fears in
7:03life, is that Justin Herbert has the all-time cheating nonsense season that Mike McDaniel just schemes him up a bunch of absolute nonsense. He wins MVP,
7:14he throws for 4,500 yd and 40 touchdowns, and then they lose in the first round of the playoffs. But I'm I'm
7:20very, very worried about Mike McDaniel doing that to me.
7:23>> I would be worried about that if I were you, too, because that's what I think is going to happen. However, I don't think
7:27Ladd is going to be like the focal point of the offense at all.
7:31>> Who do you think is going to be the focal point of the offense?
7:33>> to be like third in the pecking order. I If Keenan comes back, he's probably still going to be third in the pecking
7:37order.
7:37>> So so I'm thinking at this point Keenan is not coming back.
7:41>> Why do you think he's coming back? I think it's probably 50/50.
7:44They just said the door's open the other day. The GM said that.
7:47>> they they really phased him out at the end of the year last year. They >> You know who else got phased out all
7:54year? Ladd McConkey.
7:55>> I have I have 3% of Ladd McConkey.
7:57>> All right. I'm I actually think Ihmir Egbuka, who I'm not really taking, is a is a better pick than McConkey.
8:02>> I I see see those guys I see very similar I see very similar downsides and upsides to both of them. Like Egbuka, I
8:09don't think is a locked for like a 27% target share.
8:12>> No, but Evans leaving is huge.
8:15>> Evans leaving is kind of big if you assume that Ted Ginn Jr. and Jalen McMillan cannot earn like an 18% target
8:21share in the X role, which I I don't know. Maybe they can maybe they can't.
8:24>> Ginn Jr. is is working his way up.
8:26McMillan He's he has to beat McMillan.
8:28He's not being given anything.
8:30>> Yeah.
8:30>> But that's besides the point. I think Egbuka is a better pick than McConkey at that point. I think Evans is a
8:34>> I have Egbuka I have Egbuka ranked higher, but I also prefer to take Justin Herbert instead of taking >> if you had given me a second, I would
8:40have said take Davante Adams.
8:41>> Oh, well. I mean, hey, we we're getting we're going to get to value dipperino there with Jaylen Waddle, who is one of
8:47my Jaylen Waddle is I mean, Jaylen Waddle in the fifth is like you can you can actually just convert that into
8:54government-backed treasury bonds. Like that is that is picking up dollars.
8:58>> uh proposition for you. You're you're controlling the structure of the draft.
9:01You've taken all five picks. I have not been able to contribute at all. Let me have the next pick.
9:06>> Okay.
9:07>> All right.
9:07>> It It It This next pick is going to be pretty hard. Unless there's there's really not anything bad you can do, so
9:12I'm fine with that. The sixth sixth round is >> I'll take it.
9:14>> Your your decisions are pretty painted by numbers, >> Let me Give me Give me the list. Let me start thinking here.
9:19>> All right. We have two quarterbacks. We have Or sorry, we have two running backs, three wide receivers, Kenneth Walker, Javonte Williams, Sedarian Lamb,
9:26Ladd McConkey, and Jaylen Waddle.
9:28>> Hmm.
9:30>> It's not a It's not a great It's not a great >> Scroll down further. Scroll down further a A bit.
9:35>> You got You got the best running backs Chuba Hubbard, best wide receiver is probably going to be Brian Thomas Jr.
9:41You've got the Burrow Daniels Hurts Caleb Williams Drake Maye tier. I mean this is why the sixth round is it's miserable. This
9:47>> I know.
9:48>> not a fun spot to click. Uh it's it's kind of why I'm here.
9:51>> I oof I don't know. I actually don't even know who I'd be into for this team.
9:55How many picks do we have left?
9:57>> Uh we're about to make our sixth pick.
9:59>> I just would never put myself in such a terrible position in the sixth round. I don't know what to do.
10:04>> [snorts] >> This is I mean this is this this this is a very standard spot. What you are generally hoping for here is that one of
10:10the running backs falls to you that you're able to take Toutant, that you're able to take Price. This is why I ain't
10:14take take a lot of Brian Thomas >> I I think I really do think you should probably take Warren or Chuba.
10:22>> Um Warren gives us another quarterback option. I would take Warren. Probably I was going to say we're probably taking a
10:28quarterback at our next pick so we will take Tyler Warren. I guess I'm assuming so the the George Pickens drafter Ian
10:35the Ian here selected Lamar Jackson at 51. So we are hoping that he passes on Dak twice at 70 75 and that we're able
10:43to get him at 80.
10:45>> Dude, I don't even I mean how much do you really believe in Jamaal Williams?
10:48Your second running back?
10:51>> Javonte Williams? I don't believe in him at all.
10:53>> Yeah, Javonte Williams. How much do you believe >> I don't I don't I don't believe I don't believe in him in any way shape or form.
10:57I think he's terrible but he is I I also thought he was terrible last year.
11:01>> Like I like I I don't think I'm going to like I would take Bowers over Lamb straight up.
11:07>> I mean I don't really have any issue with that conceptually.
11:10>> team with Bowers, killing it.
11:13>> The the issue the issue is Mr. Buck St.
11:15Thomas is that I'm going to draft 3,000 best ball fantasy football teams this year and I can't be having I can't have
11:22350 Brock Bowers teams and 25 CD Lamb teams. I mean I guess I could.
11:27>> to make the point. I really don't think CD Lamb should go I think he should to at the 112, maybe.
11:33>> This is man, the Chase drafter is going to be absolutely fuming. Wow, we just got smoked at quarterback. We are we are
11:40absolutely wrecked here because Herbert and Dak both just went. The Chase drafter pushed Burrow around to take Chuba Hubbard and then K Park 829 said,
11:49"I'm protecting the integrity of the room and selecting Joe Burrow at 74."
11:54This this is uh sickening stuff for us.
11:57What about Mondre catching screens? You need to you need another running back here. Yeah, Mondre Mondre or Warren is going to be the pick here. It's kind of
12:04a bummer to give up on Mondre. He's going to come up the board. I think Mondre is going to end up in the sixth
12:09probably. Yeah, we're giving up ADP value on Makai Lemon, but that's fine.
12:14Um Mondre is also a bring back for Jaylen Waddle. Where we are in trouble is we are in trouble at quarterback.
12:22Um we're going to take Mondre. So we've got Walker, Javonte, Mondre. Two of the next three picks.
12:29Yeah, well, and we are we are probably going to have to take uh we're probably going [snorts] to have to take Daniel Jones, which doesn't make me
12:36feel great.
12:37I do like I do I I I take a lot of Mondre. I I like Mondre for fantasy football quite a bit. I mean, I think
12:43he's I think he's a good pick. Good. I'm glad to hear it because he's going to move up. I think he might even be really
12:50really good. I also think I also think Trevion is pretty fine where he goes as well. Like I I don't know. I'm open to
12:56it, but I'm not taking him right now. I would not take him there right now.
13:00There are there are a lot of options where those guys go.
13:06So I I don't know. I'm taking Judkins there. Those are my two running backs there. See, it's like Judkins for Judkins for me is quite hard because
13:14he's a two-down back on a terrible team and he's coming back from an I take him, but I'm like man, this this could so be
13:2118 carries for him. They could throw to him a little more. They could throw to him a little more. How How did he have
13:25How many catches did he have last year?
13:27>> They he they they did throw to him a decent amount just cuz they were down in all those games, but he's not going to
13:32play passing downs at all. Dylan Sampson is going to play all the passing downs.
13:37>> I mean, he had 26 receptions in however many games.
13:40>> like 13 games. I mean >> How many receptions do you think Jonathan Taylor had last year, Davis?
13:44>> Well, I mean, that's why I didn't draft Jonathan Taylor.
13:46>> Do you know how many receptions he had last year?
13:49>> Probably like 37.
13:50>> 46, Davis.
13:51>> Yeah.
13:52So >> 46 and Daniel Jones was gone like a third of the year.
13:55>> We honestly, we probably have to take Mahomes here. Uh this it just even structurally or we could take Dart um
14:01and then take him later.
14:03>> Take Mahomes. Take Mahomes for sure.
14:05Mahomes is a good pick.
14:06>> I'm I'm starting I mean, Mahom- Mahomes is just a good pick. Something I'm worried about with Dart and with Neighbors and with Scataboo and with
14:14Tracy is I'm I'm worried the Giants are just going to be bad. I I'm quite I'm quite worried >> I'm a little worried about that, too.
14:19Yeah.
14:20>> that that that it's just like Harbaugh is kind of behind it. Greg Roman is on the coaching staff. Matt Nagy is their
14:26offensive coordinator. Like, I am I am worried that the way in which they go about trying to score points is going to be quite draconian. Yeah, I'm
14:35I'm worried >> Giants are the island of misfit toys right now. It's just not like it's not a place that any coach wants to end up and
14:42they're all looking at each other in the room like uh all right, so we're just going to do what we always do, right? And then
14:47they're going to you know lose all the games.
14:50>> Like Dart Dart and Scataboo have both like been doing the rounds of like press conferences and and talking like, yeah,
14:55we're going to run the ball a ton and I'm just like, and I What I would rather hear from any coaching staff is like, yes, of course,
15:02we everything we do is going to be based out of the run, but we understand that the big challenge facing all NFL teams
15:07right now is how are we going to more effectively pass the ball? Like, I want to hear these guys being like oh, you
15:13know, we are going to we've looked at a bunch of the 12 and 13 personnel. We have new concepts that we're excited to
15:18try. We think Jaxon Dart can take the next level. And I I'm I'm not hearing that stuff out of >> No, and the neighbor I mean the
15:25neighbor's uncertainty is crazy, you know, it's like what it's just so much hinges on that, you know, the entire structure of the
15:33offense really hinges on that.
15:34>> Yes, it does. All right, so we're probably setting ourselves up to take Worthy or Kelsey here. We can take what
15:43we should do is we should take Bo Nix for the stack. We're going to have the and then we're going to have some week
15:4817 stuff and then hope that Worthy comes around the turn. I don't even love Bo Nix, but he's he's fine here.
15:55>> Yeah, I mean, I'm down with Bo Nix. I think that Kyler, even though we don't have anyone, has enough rushing value to
16:01take alone here. I think he's undervalued. I think you can try and push Worthy. I think you of all people should try to push Worthy, but you took
16:08Bo Nix. That's fine.
16:09>> Yeah, I took I I mean the quarterback the quarterback is just the more important well >> Nix has one calf.
16:14>> Shoutout shoutout to Chris Godwin picture.
16:18>> from Bo Nix.
16:20>> Yeah, I mean, you know, frankly, I was actually just doing a video on my quarterback rankings and the Bo Nix
16:26rushing production is at this stage of his career more theoretical than it is actual. Like he does he does some of it,
16:34but not um not a ton of it, you know.
16:37>> Yeah, he's just like he's one of those guys that just like he sticks in your memory when he pops on red zone for some
16:42reason. It's like, oh [ __ ] Bo Bo Nix did something actually crazy so >> Well, well, for me it's because
16:48he had he was a good running quarterback he had he had more he had more rushing touchdowns in college than Jayden Daniels.
16:56>> He also feels a little like he has the clutch factor, too.
17:00>> Well, yeah, he does he does >> going to hit him for a second touchdown again.
17:04>> going to say he did he did he also did have the clutch gene in college. I just like I I I'm I'm so sick of Sean
17:11Payton's whole deal that it's it's kind of hard for me. All right, so Worthy Worthy went so we are looking at Golden
17:18>> Worthy went.
17:19Oh.
17:20>> uh taking a fourth running back in Dobbins I mean you probably love Chris Rodriguez here. You're probably just like banging down the gosh dang door
17:29>> I would take him there. I would take Dob- I would take Dobbins or CeeDee right here. I would. Yeah.
17:34>> Dob- I mean Dobbins Dobbins makes some sense because we have the Denver thing.
17:37So we we can do that. And I mean I It's not like I have zero Chris Rodriguez. I have 5.8%. I have much more of two I
17:43mean Jakobi Croskey-Merritt >> I think Dobbins is an >> okay pick. I actually like Dobbins and KC here too.
17:49>> Dobbins Dobbins is like a a true zero percenter for me. I'm going to take I'm going to take Dobbins just cuz we have
17:54the Denver thing going. I mean Romeo Romeo Dobbins >> is fine.
18:00>> Is it Is he even the wide receiver two?
18:01Is he going to earn more >> 10th round like what do you want out of What do you want out of a 10th round
18:05wide receiver, you know? Like Romeo Dobbins could give you like 708 somehow.
18:10>> I still I still kind of think that there's more to hear from Kyle Williams.
18:13I I think there is a chance that we get a little bit of Kyle Williams year two breakout. So I'm just so not a Romeo
18:19Dobbins guy. I mean that just is what it is at the end of the day. I'm just not >> That doesn't change anything about
18:24reality. You know? Reality is that they paid him a bunch of money.
18:27>> Reality hey buddy Reality is subjective, not objective. Uh I'm going to look at I want to look at where we are at
18:33advance rate wise. Uh three quarterbacks slightly preferred really good spot at the game tree for running backs 23% almost regardless of
18:42what we do. Seven wide receivers is 22% and three tight ends is 18%. So >> you feeling about the team right now?
18:50>> I think this is a pretty good team because it sets us up to do what is kind of the approved strategy of the Best
18:55Ball Intelligentsia, which is take running backs early, uh probably stop at four or five, and then load up wide receivers later. Two
19:04quarterbacks in the window. We have an option for a third quarterback with Daniel Jones a little bit later on. And I tell you who I love
19:12at our upcoming pick here, one Mr.
19:14Stefon Diggs, who I think is probably already getting fit for his future jail cell in Kansas City.
19:22Like rap sheet rap sheet already has the Stefon Diggs has been arrested by Kansas City, Missouri police for yada yada whatever whatever. You know, Stefon
19:33Diggs' lawyers have already pre-drafted a statement for, you know, Stefon Diggs actually did nothing wrong in this situation.
19:41>> 100%.
19:41>> I'm going to select him. And I I by the way think that's true even if Rashee comes out of jail and everything's fine
19:48and it's all good. I I still think they probably would like to sign Stefon Diggs.
19:52>> Yeah.
19:52>> The The question you have is does Diggs want to play for the Chiefs if Worthy and and and Rice are good to go cuz I
19:59>> I think so. I think he's happy to happy to be competing at that point. Like I mean, >> I don't I don't I don't think so. I
20:04don't think Stefon Diggs has ever been happy to compete.
20:06>> and success. It's like do you go you take less money, you take less of a role to go win a title, or you don't? I mean,
20:12he almost got there with the Bills. You remember that picture?
20:16Look at him standing there.
20:18>> I had I had completely forgotten this until the other day. I had forgotten the entire Patriot-Seahawks Super Bowl had even happened. I asked Pete and Kareem
20:25the other day, has Stefon Diggs ever won a conference championship? Has he ever played in a Super Bowl? It happened six
20:30months ago. I completely forgot that game. I mean, I couldn't I couldn't tell you one play from that game. Couldn't tell you one memorable thing. I I guess
20:36the halftime show.
20:37>> getting rocked on the sideline.
20:39>> Yeah, and and then Pete had a great point. I was like, it was nice it was nice they let them play that game still.
20:44Even though the Chiefs weren't in it, it was nice it was nice that everyone still got to have a fun time and do a Super
20:48Bowl. Like it's nice for everyone that they still did it.
20:51>> I'm a believer in the Super Bowl hangover and I'm not excited. The vibes are down. Vibes are down in New England.
20:56>> Well, the vibe the vibes are down because the the coach is like in instead of having a normal off-season, their
21:02coach has been embroiled in one of the strangest sagas I can remember. I actually think Tyron Tracy is a pretty good fifth running back here.
21:10>> We're kind of in trouble at running at a tight end though. I don't I mean I agree he's >> No, we're we're we're we're not in
21:15trouble at tight end because our two guys are still there. We've got Gunner Helm at pick 179 coming up for us and
21:21we've got Terrance Ferguson coming up in the 200s. We are we are A-OK.
21:25>> Terrance Ferguson is the thinnest pick of all time. I know you love him. He's so thin.
21:29>> Terrance Ferguson is is I I mean I would basically call him like King Henry the VIII. Like this guy is
21:35such he's so fat he's got gout. I mean he is an unbelievably good pick.
21:40Terrance Ferguson is >> of crustaceans.
21:42>> Yes, Terrance Ferguson is probably scoring eight touchdowns this upcoming season. I mean it's going to come on like 470 yards, but as long as long as
21:50this man gets me a 47-yard touch I mean seriously go watch the Terrance Ferguson highlights from like the playoff. very limited play that he had last year.
22:01>> all year >> He was he was phenomenal. Hey, by the way, by the way, I we we are smoking according to the
22:10Flock Fantasy computer right now. We are we have an S-tier advancement score and we have an S-tier ADP value score which
22:17I mean >> Thank god I got you Tyron Warren.
22:20Who who knows what you would >> we're beating we're beating ADP with Walker, with Ramondre, with Dobbins, with Tracy. We're beating ADP with
22:29Waddle by good bit and it like we we are we're locked in.
22:34We're locked in right now.
22:35>> Yeah, you got to chill at running back though. I know I'm not I know I'm not the guy this time, but you got to chill
22:40at running back.
22:40>> We're we're done. When you when you have five guys I my my rule is you have five guys who are all going to be on the
22:49field in week one, you do not need it you do not need a sixth. So like >> of my rule.
22:54>> When you're when you're fifth guy is Kaylen Black or when your fifth guy is is Emmit Johnson, you should probably
23:00take a sixth. When your fourth guy is JK Dobbins, I mean sometimes you can you I this team probably would have been fine
23:06if there was someone we really wanted stopping at five, I would say.
23:10>> Yeah, I see what you're saying. I tend to try to measure as I go and make sure I only need five, but I get it. We got
23:16to take Jones, right?
23:17>> Uh let me check. Uh yeah, I mean Jones I think helps this team.
23:21>> a bum ass injury. Patrick Mahomes recovering from the ACL, Bo Nix broke his ankle, Daniel Jones [laughter] Achilles and fibula.
23:31>> Yeah, and my my wide receiver rankings here are way off market, so there's not even really anyone that we are missing.
23:36I something I've gotten more comfortable with is being way off market. We'll take Daniel Jones. Is being way off market after like pick 150 at wide receiver.
23:45>> Especially yeah, yeah, 100% yeah.
23:47>> Yeah, like there there's still some guys I hue relatively close to, but like uh Ted Hurst or Stefon Diggs or Zachariah
23:57Branch. Like some of these guys where I'm like, it's right there. I I'm comfortable I'm comfortable having 15% of these guys. I'm comfortable being 20 spots
24:05ahead of of ADP on these guys.
24:08>> Pull them up.
24:09>> I like I think I've got Ted Hurst ranked almost next to Jalin McMillan in my stuff.
24:15>> I'm sorry. That's not it's not I don't know why you're doing that. That's crazy.
24:18>> Hey, you will you someday >> right? This is all because of that quote where they're like he's going to be a
24:23true X. The other guys can be all the positions. So that would be great.
24:27>> Jalin McMillan is just uh not very good.
24:30>> I I mean I know you think that, but he's just going to he's simply going to be >> thing about Jalin McMillan was he was a
24:34slot receiver in college, so I don't like I I don't know.
24:38>> Well, that doesn't mean doesn't necessarily mean anything. Who played outside?
24:42>> Rome Odunze and Jalin Polk.
24:44>> Okay. Remember Remember Remember Jalin Polk?
24:47>> Maybe their offense was was more important to have a better guy in the slot than than out wide with Polk.
24:52>> Um I think on this team Deebo Samuel makes a lot of sense. I >> I actually kind of agree, although
25:00you could do you could get a little weird and get Flournoy.
25:03>> Uh man, I just I I absolutely hate the Flournoy stuff.
25:08>> the QB.
25:09>> Yeah, I think it I mean I I I I don't really have a problem with them trying to say there's not a tight end that we're
25:14really missing on here. I'm going to take I'm going to take Debo.
25:16>> All right.
25:17>> reason part of the reason why I'm going to take Debo is he is one of the most obvious his price is going to increase
25:24guys of all time.
25:26Another thing is I I resent the Flournoy rise because I I wasn't a part of it. You know what I'm saying?
25:33Like generally speaking when one of these slappy picks steams up the board because some site has him ranked way ahead of ADP, I'm a part of it. This
25:40whole Flournoy thing has completely passed me by. Like Silva has Flournoy ranked at like 120 or something like that. And I know buying four over at
25:51Spike Week has him ranked quite high.
25:53>> Well, that doesn't make me happy.
25:55>> Well, I'm I'm happy for those guys to have their influence on the market. Like it's it's nothing about them. But it's
26:00generally speaking, I want to be included. And now that I'm Squidward looking at the window at everyone having fun with their Ryan Flournoy closing
26:08line value, I'm I'm upset. I want to be like I want to be a part of it.
26:12>> Listen, I want to speak on behalf of all Flournoy bros out there and just welcome you with open arms. Like there's no
26:18hostility. We all make mistakes, you know? And you're welcome to join the party.
26:23>> No, I I I can't have it. I can't have it. I won't have it. And instead I won't No, instead I will I will stubbornly,
26:32you know, throw my throw my toys out of the pram. I'm going to be mad about it.
26:36I I'm not going to I'm not going to >> some bone broth for you. I've been saving it.
26:40>> Well, all right. Maybe maybe that could get me back in. See, this is this is how this is how much
26:46how confident I am in in Jester Gulnarhelm cuz we're going to take him here.
26:50>> Dude, that's a >> And then we can take we can take we can take Friermuth if you want.
26:53>> Aren't you worried about Daniel Bellinger?
26:55>> Uh I've I've never in my life spent one solitary microsecond worrying about Daniel Bellinger.
27:03>> Well, I'm in on Helm, too. I'm just playing, but I would like him to be my third. I think he's the perfect third
27:08tight end.
27:09>> Uh you know, the the perfect tight end room is really good tight end that you Frick, man. Okay.
27:15>> Oh, he got sniped?
27:17>> Let's take Friermuth. Let's take Friermuth.
27:18>> Well, think about it for a second. You got 13 seconds. What about Schultz?
27:22>> I do I do not like Dalton Schultz.
27:24>> Who's going to take his I mean, Friermuth's got Dalton >> Who's going to take his target? They have 900 wide receivers, dude. They're
27:31They're the most wide receiver rich team >> to be He's going to be He's going to be an every snap tight end.
27:35>> Ever heard of Cade Stover, brother?
27:37>> Yeah, I have.
27:38>> I don't I literally don't even know if Cade's I was going to say, I don't even know if Cade Stover is still on the
27:42Texans.
27:43>> [laughter] >> Cade Stover is still is still a tight end for the Houston Texans. And they drafted a second-round tight end. They
27:50So, they did draft a >> So did the Rams.
27:53>> Yeah, but the Rams never play their rookies, right? They're not going to They're not going to play They're not going to play Ty Simpson. They barely
27:59played They barely They took him in the second round, and they barely played him.
28:04>> You have to pick Terrance Ferguson because you saw what they did to Terrance Ferguson last year.
28:07>> Cuz you saw what they did to Terrance Ferguson. You get a year Look, you get a year You get a year in the McVay system,
28:13right? That's what happened. You get a year, you learn, then you play. It's very simple.
28:18>> All right.
28:19>> I I'm I'm I'm I'm so so confident in this take. All right, Ted Hurst here, right?
28:26>> I mean, it's your team. I would say no.
28:28>> We don't have We do not have a rookie wide receiver yet. I think you I think you >> I would say Mooney with Tracy.
28:33>> Mooney. Get Get out of here. Dude, Darnell legitimately Darnell Mooney does nothing to this team. If we are using a
28:40Darnell Mooney score on a CeeDee Lamb, Laviska Shenault, Allen Robinson, Wan'Dale Robinson, Deebo team, Mooney when you when you have the old
28:47>> over there in New York when neighbors got hurt and >> listen, we have all the old guys. Mooney is a good pick like if So, let's say we
28:55did Rondale Moore and Mekhi Lemon and Matthew Golden.
29:01Mooney is a really good pick on that team because he kind of just is a life raft, right? He just kind of keeps
29:08us alive, he keeps us afloat. But on this team Deebo and Diggs are the life vests, right? They're they're the guys who are are are kind of
29:17grinding us out 10 and 1/2 points per game before they get injured.
29:21>> There's a lot of allegedly going on in this team. That's all I have to say. He allegedly with Ted Ginn Sr. could be the
29:26the fifth target in the team. You get Deebo Samuel, you know, he's like a if if if DJ Moore is a hot dog, Deebo Deebo
29:33Samuel is a corn dog. All right? He's You know what I mean? He's getting fat and >> I would say this, I'd like to see a
29:39photo of what Deebo's looking like right now. I I would I would like to see a workout video. I'd like to see an
29:45Instagram post. I'd like to see something cuz I'm not loving I I I don't What I don't want is I don't want Deebo
29:52to just not be working a program at all right now. I I I would like a workout video of Deebo Samuel.
29:57>> Deebo is looking like late-stage Jason Varitek right now, okay?
30:00>> Yeah, I don't I I the photo of Deebo Samuel in the Kelly green Eagles jersey, I mean, I can't ever unsee it. I can't like it's also
30:08crazy to me that NFL players are comfortable getting that fat in the off-season and then playing themselves into shape. NBA players do this a lot.
30:15>> It's actually easier easier to play yourself into shape as an NBA player cuz there's so much running in a game. It's
30:20crazy and Deebo, like by the way, Deebo not the only guy to do this. NFL guys do get fat in the off-season. It's not a
30:27crime.
30:27>> I don't blame him.
30:29>> It's it's particularly shocking when it's a wide receiver you see that's fat.
30:33You're like, "Dude, that is a lot of weight to lose in 3 months. That's a lot of That's a lot of Yeah, it's a lot of
30:39time.
30:39>> Turn it into muscle faster you can lose it.
30:42>> We've got a 35 3562 Mahomes, Nick, Daniel Jones, Ken Walker, Javonte Williams, Ramondre, Dobbins, Tracy, Lamb, Ladd, Jaylen
30:52Waddle, Diggs, Deebo, T. Hurst, Tyler Warren, Pat Freiermuth. I will I will actually offer you two olive branches.
30:59>> Okay.
30:59>> So dusty guys we can take. I will offer you Evan Engram and I will offer you Greg Dulcich as uh as dusty options over T. Ferg.
31:09>> Why not I don't want to go with Hurst.
31:13>> A a a true I never take this guy situation. I have 1.7% of him. But you know what? Sure, whatever. That's fine.
31:20>> we've seen it, you know, there crazy things happen. Entire wide receiver receiver rooms get injured and K. Dotton catches two touchdowns. You could you
31:27see it.
31:28>> Now, we could take Franklin or Pat Bryant. We could take Tyquan. We could take Skyler Bell who I like.
31:34>> Kirk?
31:35>> Trying to see uh we could take we could take Slayton.
31:38>> Slayton over Mooney?
31:40>> Well, Mooney's gone.
31:42>> Um I like Malkai Fields. I do like Malkai Fields, but what about um like Surratt?
31:50>> Surratt is fine. Fields is a bring back to our Dallas stuff.
31:53>> Let's take Fields. Let's take Fields.
31:55>> Yeah. I I'm I'm I'm hitting to that.
31:57>> I like it. I like Fields. And I don't love Mooney for the record. I just feel like um it's an
32:02obvious like okay, I should probably just take my take this >> Let me Let me say this. Let me say this
32:07about Mr. Darnell Mooney. There's one thing he's got going for him, which is that he basically suffered the same injury last year that Xavier Worthy did.
32:15Um he he suffered it to the bone in his chest and Xavier Worthy suffered it to the muscle, but very similar um range of
32:22motion limitations. He played through it. I'm giving Mr. Worthy a full pass.
32:27So I guess that I should probably give uh Mooney a pass. I'm not and I won't.
32:33But uh but I could. All right. Our report card here, an A+ in terms of advancement and ADP value from Peter
32:40over on Flock Fantasy. Yeah.
32:42>> Hey, I know when I >> We ended up 3573.
32:45>> 3573?
32:46>> I'm happy. All right.
32:48>> It's generally Hey, 3573 or 3663 is generally a good structure. I don't disagree with you on that. Where I disagree with you about it
32:56is being dogmatic.
32:57>> I get it.
32:57>> I I'm I'm I'm much less dogmatic than you. I do like the third quarterback and I do like I mean, when you don't get
33:04Bowers, Breiden or Loveland, I think generally you should err on the side of three tight ends. But I with those guys,
33:10I don't force it. Um all right, so we did Mahomes and Nicks and Daniel Jones.
33:15We have Walker with Mahomes. We have Javonte Williams. We have Ramondre. We have Dobbins with Bo Nicks. We have Tyron Tracy. We have Lamb. We have Ladd.
33:22We have Waddle with Nicks. We have Diggs with Mahomes in my theoretical imaginary universe. We have Deebo Samuel. We have Tederst. We have Malachi Fields. We have
33:31Tyler Warren with Daniel Jones. We have Pat Freiermuth. And we have Cade Otton.
33:35That's a shipper.
33:36That's how it's done.
33:37>> it's all right. I I feel like you know, we pulled it together all right. I think running back's probably going to be in
33:41our flex most of the time, which is great. Um unless we get a real nut landing spot for one of those veteran
33:47wide receivers.
33:48>> Deebo >> [clears throat] >> Deebo Samuel Deebo Samuel to the Raiders, you're getting you're getting uh 130 targets and you're going to be very happy um
33:56with what you did.
33:57>> Every Every draft we do, we're painting.
34:00Okay? And as long as it looks good and we're happy with it when we're done, we're fine.
34:04>> That's what we're saying. All right, everyone. Make sure you like the video.
