Adonai Mitchell

PositiveRole19:42

Davis Mattek highlights Adonai Mitchell as one of his favorite players in the league, noting that if Mitchell were on the Bills, he'd rank as a top-13 receiver in fantasy football. Mitchell's primary value is in drawing targets in the Jets' elite 11 personnel package; Mattek emphasizes that "everything that happens after drawing the target is none of my business," underscoring his focus on Mitchell's high-volume target role.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeInjury33:00

Davis Mattek raises serious availability concerns about Brian Thomas Jr., questioning whether the Jaguars will healthy scratch him and suggesting they might trade him for a fourth-round pick rather than play him. Mattek describes his career trajectory as "weird," noting that most of his production came with backup quarterback play and the team quickly lost confidence in him early in his second year, with no real historical comparisons to this type of career arc.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

PositiveRole40:05

Davis Mattek is excited about Bucky Irving's role and plans to play him at DFS as a spend-down running back option. Irving got only 2 targets on 11 drop backs last week, but Mattek believes his passing game role is bound to improve with Baker Mayfield back, with potential to see 5–6 targets in games where the Buccaneers drop back 30 times. Two weeks prior, Irving had 61 snaps out of 73, demonstrating consistent high-volume backfield role; Mattek is personally okay with the carry distribution (24 carries in Week 7 despite game script favoring runs) and does not expect the percentage to scale down significantly.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeBust36:04

Davis Mattek warns against Chase Brown as a contrarian DFS play at $6,300 in Week 8, predicting he will underperform despite high projected ownership. Brown has scored only 12 points per game all season, and Mattek predicts he will score just 11 fantasy points in this game. Mattek cautions that players who think they are being smart by fading the Bengals passing game and stacking Chase Brown will be disappointed.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeUsage28:06

Chris Rodriguez Jr. had his best game of the season against the Colts with the most playing time all year; scored two touchdowns with a third called back by penalty. Davis Mattek views this as a hot-hand situation rather than a permanent role shift—Rodriguez Jr. got hot in the second quarter and the team kept feeding him while he was producing (ripping off chunks), but the source doesn't expect this to signal a return to a 50/50 timeshare given Beaux Tutin's strong performance and two-touchdown game that 'shut the door' on a potential workload split.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeValue24:03

DJ Moore at $5,700 is a fun DFS play in a projected high-scoring shootout game; the source notes he should be back to health and will have minimal ownership. Despite acknowledging a lingering shoulder injury concern, Davis Mattek frames Moore as a play with upside due to low projected ownership.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveValue27:00

Derrick Henry at $7,200 is presented as a DFS play with positive upside potential; Davis Mattek expresses enthusiasm ('I'm feeling something with that') and frames Henry as a stack anchor in a Dallas-Arizona stack strategy, with the added benefit of being significantly less owned than typical high-priced running backs.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveRole5:45

2024 SEC offensive player of the year returned with expanded role; takes passing-down work and receives first-and-10 carries, creating 1A/1B split with Judkins. Ran significantly more routes than Judkins and was featured on outside runs, establishing true role share in the offense.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

PositiveProjection19:42

Davis Mattek identifies Garrett Wilson as his gold star DFS play at $6,300 in Week 8. Wilson has reportedly been telling the Jets he demands 10 targets this week, threatening to demand a trade if not fed. Coming off two poor performances as a known diva receiver, Mattek expects Wilson to get fed this week and take care of his statline, making him a strong play despite the low game total. Mattek also lists Wilson among mid-to-high priced wide receivers he is excited about playing this week, indicating strong value and upside at his price point.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection34:36

Davis Mattek identifies Jamar Chase as a hot take DFS play against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8, predicting he will snap out of a down year and deliver a strong performance. Chase has only 312 receiving yards on the season and has not had a 100-yard game yet despite scoring at an okay rate; Mattek projects a final stat line of 8 receptions, 144 yards, and 2 touchdowns. Mattek frames this as the ultimate diva wide receiver spot where Chase will demand volume after T. Higgins has been outproducing him, noting that Chase has been in Joe Burrow's ear saying "Buddy, this ain't working for me." Mattek also emphasizes that the Bengals should prioritize scoring via Chase against Tennessee and need to get him involved through big plays and post routes, indicating organizational pressure and strategic focus on elevating his usage and production.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveMatchup12:36

Williams is Davis Mattek's most interesting Lions receiver play against the Vikings. While matchup-based reasons to play him have gone many ways historically, he emerges as the preferred Lions pass-catcher option given structural pass protection risks affecting Gibbs and LaPorta, and the Vikings' strength defending the slot.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage0:06

Warren posted 39 fantasy points in his best game after playing every snap; coaches designated him as their featured offensive player despite earlier workload concerns. The Steelers throw the ball at high rates and use running backs heavily in the passing game, similar to the Bears and Rams in terms of offensive pie available for backs, though the lack of red zone touchdowns limits ceiling. DFS projection expected to adjust down slightly, but ownership should also decline, keeping him in play.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveValue0:24

Davis Mattek identifies Jeremiah Love as a gold star DFS play at $5,400 in Week 8 if he plays. Love is the third overall pick in a game with a 54.5-point total, yet Mattek predicts extremely low ownership (maxing out at 6.7%), making him a strong value. Mattek believes people will be interested and he could reach 10% ownership, but emphasizes the value mismatch between his draft capital, price, and game total versus expected ownership.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

NegativeUsage14:26

Without Aaron Jones active, Mason's passing-down role is limited due to the team's belief in DJ Dallas as a passing-down back. Davis Mattek projects Mason will absorb only a few passes (similar to Judkins with Raheem Sanders but better than Judkins with Dylan Samson), playing heavily on early downs. At $5,700 DFS salary, Mattek considers Mason a fine play for Week 8 despite the passing-down limitations and DJ Dallas competition.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue10:31

At $7,100 DFS pricing, Jefferson has been disappointing recently but is capable of a bounce-back performance against the Lions. Davis Mattek hesitates to pile in at this price point despite his individual upside, citing ownership concerns and the risk of following a crowd expecting a breakout week. Later in the episode, Mattek expresses increasingly less interest in playing Jefferson, preferring Parker Washington and other receivers in the same $6K–$7.2K price range. However, he also lists Jefferson as a potential mid-to-high priced wide receiver play he is excited about this week, indicating some upside at his price point for DFS.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeValue34:01

Davis Mattek expresses skepticism about Keenan Allen's DFS value at $4,500 in Week 8 against the Bengals, suggesting he is only playable if Josh Warren does not play, and even then dismissing his upside with "who cares?" indicating low conviction in his fantasy ceiling.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

NegativeInjury42:35

Kenny Gainwell did not practice on Wednesday with a hip injury, creating injury risk for Week 8; however, Davis Mattek notes Gainwell is barely playing anyway, so the injury impact may be limited given his already-reduced backfield role.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection8:36

DFS play with significant confidence concerns against the Lions defense. Performance as a passer has been worse than expected; Davis Mattek anticipated top-15 NFL EPA per play under Kevin O'Connell but it has not materialized. The Vikings' defensive strength and offensive strategy (run-heavy, field-goal oriented, ball security focused) limits passing volume and upside, with the defense generating turnovers and explosives instead.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeRole45:08

Michael Wilson is priced at $6,200 in Week 8 DFS but has produced nothing since Marvin Harrison Jr. was traded away, indicating a significant decline in offensive role and usage following the trade.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

PositiveMatchup16:41

Gordon dominated the Jets defense last week, posting running back one performance on the slate with 264 yards, demonstrating the Jets' vulnerability to elite rushing production and supporting the bullish case for other running backs in this matchup.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveBreakout27:30

Parker Washington earns a gold star designation at $6,500; Davis Mattek is more excited about playing Washington than Justin Jefferson at similar price points (6K-7.2K range). The source predicts positive regression and believes Washington will be an 18-20 points per game player in the second half of the season; currently underowned relative to upside and positioned as a preferred play over Jefferson despite similar pricing.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

NegativeMatchup11:51

LaPorta faces structural pass protection risks against the Vikings' aggressive blitz scheme. The Lions may need to keep him in to block more frequently, which could reduce his pass game involvement and route participation in this matchup.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

NegativeValue41:45

Ted Hurst is priced at $3,800 in Week 8 DFS after a small price increase from the prior week, where he appeared in every projected optimal lineup. However, Davis Mattek explicitly prefers Jacobe Lane over Hurst as a tight end play, indicating better value or upside at Lane's price point.

0:00Well, it turns out Mike McCarthy is, depending on how you look at it, either a huge liar or a big trutht teller
0:06because a month ago when Jaylen Warren was playing every snap, he said, "Look, man, we can't be giving him all this
0:12work." Then he has the best game of his life, has 39 fantasy points in a game and the coaches say that Jaylen Warren
0:17will be their quote featured offensive player. And again, depending on your perspective, both of those can be true because Rico Dattle came back and they
0:24said, "Sure, 6040. We target Rico Dattle six times in the passing game. get this great matchup this week against the Cleveland Browns. I would love to play
0:33Jaylen Warren. I I it would it would truly fill me with joy. Um he projects pretty well. I would actually guess that
0:41this gets adjusted down a little bit, but that his ownership also gets adjusted down a little bit. The the thing that keeps Warren potentially in
0:49play for DFS, Jacob, is that uh boy do the Steelers like to throw the ball.
0:53Boy, do they like to to jack up that proe. Um, no no rushing attempts in the red zone. I don't know, man. I'm sick of
1:00Rico Dattle, Jacob.
1:03>> Um, yeah. I mean, Rico definitely has a valuable like flexworthy role, >> but Warren was still quite productive in that game, still has a ton of
1:12opportunities. Uh, I mean they they use their running backs so much both on the ground but also in the passing game
1:20>> that I I think I describe Pittsburgh as like being similar to the Bears or the Rams in terms of like the size of the pie
1:30available for running backs with the notable exception of no touchdowns. You don't get any touchdowns. Um, so that's a problem because ideally you'd like to
1:39have a touchdown or two in there for the backs. But in terms of the usage between the 20s, it's on that level in terms of
1:45how much they're just utilizing these guys over and over again. So a pie can go around. I don't know. Warren's a fine
1:52play. I think my overall concern with this game would be both these teams not the most potent offenses in the first
1:58place. You get the second divisional matchup thesis which usually are lower scoring games. Like this just has a horrible like we're sitting there
2:08doing the ship cast and everyone's like has anyone seen a play from the Steelers Browns game like it's not on red zone
2:14very much. Oh it's 106 like there's 5 minutes left that that's just kind of the vibe I'm getting from this game. So
2:21not like super pumped to play anybody in it. I mean I guess the the the the guy I'm most curious about your thoughts on
2:29is Casey Conpsion. Kevin Conpsion Conpsion. Um, coming off the huge game, I think the first week >> funniest nickname in in fantasy football
2:40history. Kevin Conpsion Conpsion.
2:44>> I mean, I probably played this guy at DFS literally every week until last week. I finally stopped. I was like,
2:49"Enough already." Like, he he ruined my best lineup the week before. And then, of course, he goes off, has the massive
2:56game you had to have him.
2:58Are are you chasing that from last week?
3:01Do you think that was a turning point or was that just kind of the realization of some run bad that he'd had all year
3:08and now we're going to be right back to five yards per target?
3:12>> I would say it's if you had to assign a probability of each of those, the largest part of the probability would be
3:18playing the Titans who are terrible against every level of the field. It would also assign a big amount of probability to when you get targeted as
3:28often as KCC has been targeted, you just are eventually going to have good games.
3:32This is kind of the Jarvis Landry Wandale Robinson, you know, overtime thesis where like yes, you know, you have these guys who are pretty
3:43good at getting open and consistently earn volume, but they do so at lower average depth of target. there. You're gonna have a lot of three for 38s in
3:50there, but then you also open the ability for what KCC have like nine for 120 I think in the end with a
3:56>> 40 yard touchdown drop in there as well.
3:59However, I do think once a player has demonstrated the ceiling, I mean, this is kind of very reductive fantasy football analysis, but I actually think
4:08it's something that people who spend a lot of time thinking about fantasy football should take to heart a little bit more, which is once a guy has a lot
4:18of points in one game, he has like demonstrated the ability to do it. It's like how um uh prior year fantasy points
4:25per game is actually a better predictor of current year fantasy points per game than ADP is which is just like it is
4:32just like you know we have all these thoughts and all these feelings about how guys are going to do and we do all
4:37this data analysis and then it turns out a pretty good predictor of fantasy points is has this guy scored a lot of
4:42fantasy points before.
4:43>> Yeah. And Conpsion to me was actually always the better fit for a bad offense.
4:49If you think about the types of receivers that succeed in bad offenses, how often is it the Boston archetype, you know, how often is it the 13 half a
4:58dot boundary receiver? You know, it's much more often you get the guy who can scam you eight for 84. You know, I mean,
5:05look at Jeremy versaf on the other side um of this game. I I would guess I am probably going to be pretty conpsion
5:14relative to the field just because I don't actually don't think he's going to come with too much ownership this week.
5:20And I thought he was good to to begin with. And the Steelers being so heavy pass rate over expectation does open
5:28this game up to being 17 to 14, but with both quarterbacks throwing it 42 times, which is pretty good for KCC. Mhm.
5:37>> So that's where that's where I think probably the question would be is is Chudkins playable after
5:45>> that I I have little interest in. I mean this is like it's usually we always talk on here about how like modern day DFS
5:53people will play the guys the week after they got like more impressive usage than usual but scored like crap. This might
6:01be the reverse correlary of that with Judkins where his uh scoring output was very positive.
6:09Like 10 years ago, DFS people would be out here to play him. I mean, and my angle would be, you know, despite
6:17scoring quite well. I thought it was kind of a discouraging usage week when you finally get Dylan Samson back, 2024 SEC offensive player of the year, and he
6:26comes back and he has a real role. like not only does he take the passing down stuff that Raheem Sanders was taking,
6:32but he had at least three first and 10 carries, like he was actually just getting to start some series on occasion, they were doing a lot of the
6:39outside runs with him. Um, and it was like a true kind of 1A 1B situation. The snaps were quite close. Samson run ran a
6:47lot more routes and so the role for Judkins was probably worse than expectations even if the score last week was above expectations. My guess is in
6:57in this day and age like everyone is so simrained that that the limitations on the pass game role that Samson presents
7:06will actually be priced into his ownership and people won't just be chasing two touchdowns. So, um that makes me think he'd be like a fine play,
7:13but yeah, not not a not a fantastic play. I don't think the he's going to need 100 a touchdown or he's going to
7:20need two touchdowns cuz I I don't think that the pathway for him to get more than a couple of passes um is that high
7:26with Samson there. Like he ran like nine routes last week.
7:30>> Yes. I I think Judkins is now your your quintessential like I mean this is about how 50% of the running back pool is, but
7:39in any game where he doesn't score a touchdown, he's getting you about 7.6 PBR points. Uh, Fannon, frankly, it bums me out. I do not buy the resurgence from
7:49last week. It it all mostly came on one two two admittedly very very impressive play, but Boston and KCC are just so
7:59good that I think Fannon has now, you know, frankly Fannon is just kind of like uh, you know, kind of Kyle Pittzy
8:06Frier Mouthy. were like, yeah, like completely capable of having good games, but clearly um you know, not a not a high-end elite fantasy football option.
8:14Let's move to the Minnesota Vikings going to play the Detroit Lions. You got Jir Gibbs in what has been the most
8:21difficult matchup of the season for him against the Minnesota Vikings. His ownership projection and actual projection are like significantly lower
8:31than it's been every other time he has been on the main slate.
8:36Salary is also like kind of tough this week. There are not a ton of cheap guys that are projecting like very very well.
8:42And I don't know, is this is this the rare Detroit Lions game that you're just like, "Yeah, man. I I'll probably just
8:48let the field do whatever." Like golf against the Vikings, golf against Flores, like not not for me, boss. And then Kyler against the Lions. I mean,
8:56how bad do you how bad do you want to play Kyler Murray against the Lions? And you're like, man, do I even have the
9:02confidence? Like Kyler has been as a passer honestly like worse than I thought he could be. Like it it's it's been
9:11>> tough. I really really thought >> that KOC could get something out of here. Like I I thought we'd see him be,
9:18you know, top 15 in the NFL and EPA per play. It's not happening, man. It's been It's been tough and it's been very bad
9:24for Jefferson.
9:26>> It's It's been quite bad. And he also does and the issue is their defense has been so ridiculously good that he
9:33doesn't even he doesn't even need to get much out of Kyler like >> they like KC has I think correctly identified
9:41>> you know we really have something with this defense and we don't have much with this offense. So we're going to kind of
9:47play we're going to orient our offense around being a good defensive team. So they're not throwing very much. They're not going for unnecessary fourth downs.
9:55like they're very happy to take field goals, punt the football, take care of the ball, run the ball, and rely on this
10:04defense to create a lot of the turnovers and a lot of the explosives for them because they've been doing that. I mean,
10:09this is a game where uh like I I expect Flores to have a lot of success against the Lions offense. I
10:16think the Lions offense is going to get theirs. They always do. Like if there is going to be a week that the Vikings are
10:22going to have to throw the ball and play more aggressively, it's probably this week where I do think the Lions can at
10:27least put up some points on this defense.
10:31I I mean, yeah, it's it's always a cop out when I say this on the show, but like it probably just comes down to
10:37ownership for me with Kyler and Jefferson. Like if people are like, "Oh, like finally this is this is the Jefferson week. Like I'm excited, you
10:44know, I'm super pumped to do the bounce back." Like I don't really want to pile into a guy who's been so disappointing
10:50at 7100 with a bunch of people following me, but like at at a nice discount in this matchup, I mean, I I definitely
10:58think Justin Jefferson individually is more than capable of having a big day against the Lions. Um, and then on the other side, like
11:07probably the one guy who has struggled the most in these Flores matchups recently is Gibbs. I mean, maybe the Lions will be creative
11:17and they'll find a way around it. Um, that wouldn't surprise me, but typically what the Vikings have done is just every
11:22single time Jamir Gibbs is out there, they just blitz the [ __ ] out of the A gap. Um, and then they keep Gibbs in
11:29pass protection, so he can't get out in a route. He's very vulnerable in pass protection. I mean, they're they used to
11:34then kind of counter by just playing a lot of David Montgomery. They can't do that in this spot. They're going to have
11:39to play Gibbs anyways, but I do think that's going to mute his pass game involvement. And then the way that they
11:45could get around that would be if they do a slide protection instead of keeping the running back in. So if they
11:54get Gibbs on a route, but then they would have to keep a tight end in >> Brock, right?
11:58>> Well, they could do a lot more block right or or it means that they have to keep Sam Laaporta in to block more. So I
12:02I guess what I'm saying is I think that there are structural risks from like a pass protection responsibility standpoint that could affect Gibbs or
12:09Leaporta. Um, and so if I'm going to play under the Lions, I'm probably probably most focused on Jameson or on Amanra. I'd also note that the Vikings
12:20have been really good this year defending the slot, which I think that people It's a little counterintuitive because you would actually think that
12:26you're facing all these blitzes and so you're going to have these hot routes available and so the slot is going to be
12:30like a target eater, but they I think it's just because a lot of these guys are like you don't know who's dropping
12:36where and so they're they're finding ways to get into the slot lanes. like uh the best way typically to beat this
12:41defense is you just kind of have to roll with the punches that you're going to have some negative plays, but they're
12:46taking so many risks that you have to kind of they're going to bring the flamethrower to you, you have to bring
12:50the flamethrower back to them. You have to try and take advantage of the big play opportunities that they're going to give up by having these vulnerable shell
12:56coverages on the back end. So, I like probably the guy I'm most interested in playing is Jameson Williams from the Lion side.
13:05I don't think I'm that into playing Jameson Williams just because I'm generally not that into playing Jameson Williams. And matchupbased reasons to
13:13play Jameson Williams I really have seen go so many ways.
13:17>> I have breaking news on the show.
13:19>> Breaking news. Hit me.
13:20>> The Chicago Bears just traded two first round picks on a fourth round pick for Jeffrey Simmons.
13:27>> Wow.
13:29>> Holy crap. Does that get does that get Josh Downs any closer to playing for the Kansas City Chiefs?
13:34>> I here's here's the thing. I could give so little shits about who is playing for the Chicago Bears defense. I just like I
13:42need this notification from Adam Sheper that Josh DS got traded for a conditional third round pick to the Kansas City Chiefs so bad, Jacob. I need
13:50it. I I need it. Like I need oxygen. If if the Chiefs go into if the Kansas City Chiefs are past the trade deadline and
13:59their 11 personnel, Xavier Worthy, Rashi Rice, Andrew Armstrong, and Travis Kelce, like I that's it, man. I'm done.
14:05I'm out. I'm I'm out. It's not happening. They're going to freaking trade a conditional seventh for Jawan Jennings is what's going to happen. You
14:13know what you honestly? I I think where discussing this game has got me has gotten me to St. Brown as like
14:21legitimately probably like a 6% owned guy here or whatever. And then I guess the other thing we need to discuss is if
14:26no Aaron Jones, do we think Jordan Mason can even catch four passes in this game or is he is he basically the same play
14:34as Judkins where it's just like well did he score once? Did he score twice? Um they used him last year a little bit as
14:41a passing down back when Jones was banged up like very like >> good for Jordan Mason, bad for like a normal running back. However, they do
14:49seem to somewhat believe in DJ Dallas as a passing down back, which is like I mean, how many teams have tried I I
14:56believe this is team number five to use DJ Dallas in in this way.
15:01>> They won't throw to Mason the way that they threw to Aaron Jones. So, he'll project worse and you should project
15:06worse. Like Mason without Jones will project worse than Jones without Mason.
15:10Even though I think actually if both are active, I think Mason will outscore Jones. Um, but he's he he will play so much on early n
15:20downs that he's just going to absorb like a few passes. Like I think I think he'll be more like Judkins with Raheem
15:27Sanders but better than Judkins with Dylan Samson. Like cuz with Sanders like he was only playing the strict pass downs, but Judkins was playing
15:36everything else and he was able to absorb, you know, three, four, five passes on occasion. Um whereas Samson now gives him another back they actually
15:43want to use with some intent. Like I I don't think that they're going to do that with Dallas or anything. So I think
15:48Mason would be 5700. I think he'd be a fine play.
15:53>> Yeah, I think I could I think I could probably talk myself think I could probably talk myself into that one. All
15:58right. Uh the Las Vegas Raiders at the New York Jets. I I'm just going to go ahead and get this out of the way now. I
16:04I you I either need you to talk me into or out of $6,700 Ashen Genty against the New York Football Jets as my gold star
16:13play. The rushing efficiency has been so bad, but the passing game stuff has still been there for him. He's down at
16:206,700. He's still getting goal line stuff. Mike Washington Jr. has alternated between looking way better than Ashton Genty and then not playing,
16:30which is just kind of like a really interesting dichotomy. But uh there there was a couple things going on with Gent. So the first being an
16:36acknowledgement from him and the team that the run fits have been terrible that like the SK that there's been scheming issue which I thought was
16:44pretty interesting. And then also a real you better back this up moment from Mr.
16:48Ji as well where he said yeah a couple of these Jets guys they don't look like they want to tackle. I don't want to
16:54name any names but they just look like they don't want to tackle any running backs. So um one reduced price two very
17:01good matchup. I mean, we just had Olly Gordon look like Eric Dickerson against this defense. Literally, Ole Gordon was the running back one last week of the
17:08slate. How about that?
17:11>> Met completely insane. Ollie Gordon running back against >> against this defense. Um >> not really that low scoring with slate.
17:18He didn't have that. He had like 264.
17:21Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. No one No, it it was Yeah, it was like a really low scoring slate. Um >> Yeah. I I I you I need you to either
17:29compel me into or out of this choice.
17:33Um, neither. I think I'm more I'm more with you than against you. Like I'm inclined to be in on Ashton Shanty. The
17:40ceiling from a DFS perspective just seems a little gross based on fact that like he's going to have like 30 yards
17:47rushing. Um, so like the the the pass game stuff is amazing for keeping his floor up, but I I do think the ceiling
17:54is a little bit tough. I I I would love to believe that he could have 80 to 100 yards rushing in this game. I just have
18:00seen nothing from the Raiders run game to support that. But it's certainly a great matchup and I mean if he does like
18:06then you're off to the races because he he's pretty locked into like 10 to 12 just as a receiver. So yeah, I'm I I I'm
18:16certainly like I don't know if I'm going to gold star play him, but I'm I'm definitely more with you than I am
18:21against you. That's for sure.
18:23>> Yeah. I mean maybe maybe I can't make it maybe I can't make it the gold star play. I would just say I am.
18:29>> No, do it. Do it. Stand by.
18:31>> I I gotta think. I mean know I mean we got we got a lot. This is this is only our third game. Um and then on the other
18:37side I mean do we think Bree is finally going to play a football game or is this like week number four of Braille and
18:43Allen just being like a gig when we when we get there?
18:48>> No, I think he's going to play a football game. Uh yeah, definitely think Reese will play this week. I'm guessing
18:55I'm I'm guessing it's going to be honestly pretty close to 50/50.
18:59>> Yeah.
19:00>> Which makes which makes them both unplayable from a DFS perspective?
19:02>> Completely completely unplayable.
19:05>> Where would you would you like for like reddraft stuff? Would you use Brilin as like a flex play in this spot against
19:11the Raiders?
19:12>> I think it's fine to like I I would if you have Brilan and you don't love your options like I think you can get away
19:19with starting him. I I certainly like I don't know. I don't do weekly rankings.
19:24I I would guess that I would have both these guys ranked like between RB 22 and RB28.
19:32>> That sounds about I think I'll probably be a little bit higher on Bree just because I expect him to get a lot of the
19:37passing down work. Although I mean the the Jets passing game this is insane.
19:42Their 11 personnel is like unbelievable now that Omar Cooper Jr. looks good. you know, being able to play Garrett Wilson, Omar Cooper Jr., Adnai Mitchell, Mason
19:50Taylor or Kenyan >> one dragon going like this.
19:54>> Yeah.
19:58>> Hey, you need to you need to respect you need to respect your goat. Ad Mitchell, >> he is not my goat. Ad
20:06my goat.
20:07>> Yeah, he most certainly is not your goat. I mean, AD Mitchell is so uh 80 Mitchell favorite players in the league.
20:14If AD Mitchell was on the Bills, he'd be at like a top 13 receiver in fantasy football, I fear.
20:20>> No, he he wouldn't. He can't complete plays. All he does is draw targets.
20:27>> Well, that's the hard part.
20:29>> Everything Everything No, everything that happens after drawing the target is none of my business.
20:33>> Oh my god.
20:36>> That's good.
20:38>> Will Will Omar Cooper Jr. or Conpsion be more owned? And who scores more fantasy points this week? Omar Cooper Jr. versus
20:45Casey Conpsion. More points.
20:49>> Um, I'll say that Conpsion has more points.
20:53I think that this is the >> I think this is Garrett Wilson has been like around the facility telling the Jets like if you don't give me 10
21:02targets this week, like literally trade me. Like I like >> trade me. Yeah.
21:07>> Like I'm like if he's like I'm going to commit like a hate crime in this built at one Jets place or whatever if um if
21:15if I don't get 10 targets this week like make sure I get 10 targets this week.
21:18You don't want to know what happens if I don't. Um so I think I think he's going to get fed this week. Uh and he's going
21:25to take care of his statline and so that that makes me lean towards owns traded to the Kansas City football chiefs for a first round pick. that
21:35rules. I'm in on that. I don't think it's happening, though. Uh I don't think it's gonna get fed.
21:42>> I might go as far to say Garrett Wilson is my gold star play. I I reserve the right to amend that later as we get
21:48through the program, but I think that's going to be my gold star play. 6,300 Garrett Wilson coming off two duds, known diva, wide receiver, going to want
21:56targets in on that.
21:58>> Yeah. Uh I'm going to guess you are going to want to amend that. Um just because th this game I mean the these
22:04are two teams that really would like to run the ball a lot. 45 and a half point total. It's it's um
22:09>> 45 is not that bad.
22:11>> I was going to say 45 and a half. Well, compare it to the next game. So this is the game we're going have to spend a lot
22:15of time figuring out. This game Baltimore >> Raven I can't make my gold star play a player in this game. Like Zar is going
22:22to be in everybody's lineup, right?
22:23>> No. No, you most certainly could because I actually don't think either one of the quarterbacks either Josh or Lamar will
22:29get owned that much. I mean, Lamar more than Josh, but just the way DFS goes now, people will actually probably more
22:35likely play a Jacobe, a Dak, something like that instead. Yeah. Now, now Flowers, I I mean, we could we could press
22:43>> my lineups start with Z Flowers. I I just >> I don't I don't know how many lineups I'm doing this week.
22:49>> It could be one, it could be five, it could be 10, it could be hundred. I'm not making one without Z Flowers.
22:55>> Yeah. Look, I I have absolutely I have absolutely no issue with that. I think Z Flowers is probably the best like
23:01convergence of price projection thing holding his price down that was not his fault that has now been remedied game
23:11like I I he should be the most owned player of the slate. I think I think we'll get there.
23:19>> He has played four quarters at full health with Lamar Jackson. He played the first two quarters against Indie and then he missed week two. Week three he
23:30was playing limited snaps throughout and then week four he played a half with Lamar and then Lamar got hurt. In the
23:35four healthy quarters that they've played together, 15 catches, 268 yards, two touchdowns. So that's your median this week.
23:44>> I'm Yeah, I'm I'm with you. Yeah, just getting to like what, like 42 points just kind of as like Yeah, it's like ah
23:50well if he doesn't get 40 >> I just I just feel like as good as Z Flowers has been this year, we've been
23:57robbed of it being even better because he got hurt and then Lamar got hurt and like he's done Yman's work with Tyler
24:05Huntley to survive us to this point. I I just want to get paid off with the like averaging 30 points per game Z Flowers
24:13season the rest of the way that I feel like I've been promised.
24:17And I think you're going to get it. What would be interesting for this game though is on the Bills side of the ball,
24:23they also are uh playing in this game, right? DJ Moore won't be owned. Shakir won't be owned. Concincaid will not be
24:32owned. James Cook really, I mean, he'll get some ownership, but I think he'll be significantly less owned than Derk Henry. I mean, I guess I guess here's
24:40how here's how me as a middle IQ person would like to play this game, I would imagine. Here's your here's your
24:47strategy. All right, dude. I start with Josh Allen. No one will have Josh, dude.
24:51Then I'll put flowers in. Then I'll play $5,300 Dolphin Concade. Did you know he had a touchdown called back by penalty
24:59last week? Did you know, dude? Actually, his highest RA participation of the season came before the buy. And my friend Jacob Sanderson actually let me
25:08know that spiritually >> DJ Moore >> might actually be good for Dade. Create some space for Dalton and Jacobe Lane.
25:17$3,400 Jacobe Lane. Uh quite quite a good play.
25:20>> There's a lot of plays I like in this game. Obviously I I already talked about Flowers. I love him. I agree. I think
25:26concade is a like I don't think he's a wellpriced play necessarily, but I think he's a fun play whose price will protect
25:32him from ownership and I think he has a lot of upside here. Uh Lane super fun play at 3,400 with Lamar back and like
25:42you know all time not my guy but I think DJ Moore is a totally fun play at 5700 probable shootout game should be back to
25:49health. Like yeah there's a lot of guys I like in this game. I mean, it's it's going to be a highscoring game. It's
25:54projected to be. Um, but yeah, there's there's a lot of dudes. I don't think you like need to play the quarterbacks
26:00either. You certainly can. Um, but I I think if you you can dabble into this with various like many correlations, one
26:08from one side, one from the other, and and have a good time. I'll I'll certainly be playing this game.
26:12>> All right. Absolutely. Have to you you you can't opt out of this question. You have to answer one crappy bill to go
26:18with Josh Allen. So, it can't be James Cook. one one crap fell.
26:23>> You got to choose who are you playing.
26:24>> So I So I can't pick DJ Moore. Is he too good?
26:27>> No. No, you can. None of these guys will be 10% owned. I mean, maybe maybe if uh >> Yeah. Yeah. I think I'm conceded. I I
26:35think I'm conceded for my crappy bill.
26:37>> Um >> like the the thing with these it just feels like Moore is going to struggle with this shoulder injury all year. I I
26:46don't know how you feel about that, but it like it just I I just kind of getting queasy about about DJ Moore.
26:52>> Fair enough.
26:53>> Yeah. Um All right, Derek Henry, how how are are you into playing Oh, this is kind of a fun strategy.
27:01>> 7200 Henry is is like I'm feeling something with that.
27:05>> Well, you do your Dallas Arizona stack, right? And then your only piece from this game is Derrick Henry. And you say
27:11Derrick Henry sucks all the joy and fun.
27:14All the Z Flowers people are just watching the king rumble and bumble for four tuds.
27:20>> I got to get I haven't built any lineups yet. I got to like I got to get in the lab and figure out because
27:27how I'm trying to like I I'm kind of inclined to play Flowers and Henry together, but if you do that then you
27:32might as well play Lamar. But then like can you afford that?
27:35>> I think you can. I think you can do that. What does the lineup look like with all three of them?
27:39>> You can do that with or without Lamar.
27:41It probably sims a little bit better with Lamar, but there are there are ways there are ways for it to be done.
27:46>> Yeah. Um, very very good game. Uh, your team, the Indianapolis Colts against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Parker Washington >> 6,500. Belle Tutin 5900. I actually
27:58think Tutin is one of the more interesting guys of this slate because the usage >> going to be crazy, doesn't he? 50
28:06against this Colts.
28:07>> So, the usage prior to the last international game was really really good. Then he cashes in two touchdowns, has a third one called back by penalty,
28:16but that was actually the most that Chris Rodriguez Jr. had played all year.
28:20Like it was it was Crod's best game as well. Now, that might just be like matchup weirdness that you know.
28:26>> I think it was just I think it was just a literal hot hand thing. Like I think Crod got I mean he still but even as
28:32Jude was getting this great usage Crod was still getting some carries but usually it was like the second quarter they'd give C-rod a series and he would
28:38like have like two yards or another two yards and they like all right get him out of here get to back in. And then
28:43this last game he just he just started cooking like they got Crod in started rumbling and bumbling. He was ripping off chunks and reasonably I think Con
28:52was like, "Oh, sweet." Like Crod's got it. Like he's he's doing some stuff.
28:56Let's let's feed him. And most of his work was in that second quarter where they just kind of kept feeding him while
29:01he was really hot. And then in the second half, they went back to mostly tune stuff. I I I view that as not being
29:08that predictive. I think it was just kind of like C-rod really got cooking for a while there and they leaned into
29:12it. Um, and that could happen again in a future game, but I don't think it's like the plan to go back to a 5050,
29:18especially because Tuton played so well in South and was able to score the two touchdowns that I think like maybe there
29:23was a chance for Crod to turn this back towards a time share. I I think Ton kind of shut the door on that personally.
29:31>> Yeah, I think you're right. And I would like to also apply the gold star nomenclature to Belle Tutin. I don't
29:41think it's fair if he's going to be the one of the most known running backs of this late. Now, if he is a little bit
29:46closer to 11, even 15%, I think it would be fine to do that. However, I would like to extend on top of that and say,
29:54well, if I'm not allowed to do it to Tootton, boy, would I like to do it for one Mr. Parker Washington, who I think
30:00even in the most >> Jaguar, Smith, and Jigba time frame, I I don't actually think anyone thought he would be this good. Like I don't think
30:11anyone thought he'd be the type of guy who would drop six.
30:14>> He's scored as many points as he >> he So he hasn't >> It's kind of funny like the explosions have kind of been like he's exploded for
30:23like a half >> and then done nothing in the other half or done nothing in the first half and then exploded late.
30:29>> What I'm saying is that I very much think one of these times we are just going to get a true Jaguar, Smith, and
30:35Jig. But like this dude has 37 and it's the third quarter >> type game. Um, I like I think he's that good, right? Is
30:43is what I'm saying. Like I I very much I very much think he is that good. Uh, and I don't think he will be particularly
30:50owned here. I think though he's going to be so much own I I really don't. Yeah.
30:53If you look at the overall way the wide receivers are priced, he doesn't like obviously I'm not saying he's going to
30:59be unowned. That would be preposterous.
31:01But I don't think he is like an absolute um >> I I just don't think he's going to get like mega jammed or anything like that.
31:08I think he'll be kind of kind of, you know, normal normal owned at uh >> as we progress into this, I'm getting
31:15increasingly uh less interested in playing Justin Jefferson. I was like on the fence about that, but I'm like I really want to play
31:22Garrett, who I think is going to be not owned um and have a fun spot at 6300. I >> like I'm just not building a lineup
31:30without Z Flowers. He's just in every lineup. And then like Parker is in this range and I think he is a play that I'm
31:36more excited about than Justin Jefferson. So that's already that's already like three 6K to 7.2K wide receivers that I'm probably more into playing. And then
31:47Moore is down to 5700, but I I like that play, too. So I'm I'm I'm finding no trouble finding receivers I want to get
31:54in a lot of lineups this week. I like Parker, obviously Toutin. Um, I I agree with you that I think the Jaguars are
32:01due for a blowup spot. We did a really fun show last night. I think it'll be up today. Um, Gretch and I were on Beyond
32:08the Box score with Heath and Jacob Gibbs and we just drafted the rest of the season. We like alternated picks and we
32:13did got through eight rounds and at one point we had taken Tudin and Washington and they were the lowest scoring two
32:19players in points per game this season that we had drafted and it was like it feels like they've been a lot better
32:24than they are but we were we were taking them obviously way above kind of their station and so we're we're predicting
32:30that positive regression um and the chance for them to be like 18 to 20 points per game players over the second
32:35half of the season. I I definitely think it's in the cards.
32:39>> It's definitely in the cards. I mean, I would just say looking at the ownership projections as a whole, like yeah, we
32:43haven't even gotten to Dallas, Arizona yet. So, in terms of like ownership siphoning, so Parker Washington very very firmly uh in in play for for a gold
32:54star and then and Brenton Strange if you wanted I tell you what, Jacobe Meyers if like isn't isn't Brian Thomas Jr. just
33:02not gonna play like like are like aren't they just going to healthy scratch him and say, "Hey man, someone come trade a
33:08a fourth round pick for this guy." What a weird weird career Brian Thomas Jr.
33:13has had. I I I can find no real analoges for this where so much of his production came with a backup quarterback and the
33:22team just like pretty immediately was over him. like basically like a month into his rookie se or his second year, the team was like, "Yeah, this isn't
33:31really this is not going how we wanted it to go." Just like very strange like not even like a Michael Clayton style
33:38thing or or whatever where >> Yeah.
33:41>> he got in. Yeah. I don't I just I I don't know what's going on with him.
33:46>> Yeah. It's uh it's been bizarre. I mean, it's it's been it's been odd. Um Yeah. I I think the only guys I want to play are
33:56Parker and Toten from this whole game.
33:58Oh, Strange. Certainly don't want to play any Colts.
34:01>> No. No. Jags D. Good play. Jags D.
34:04>> Jags D. Great play. Great play. I was doing some big bids on the Jags D this week.
34:09>> I I was I was >> I guess you could play Keenan.
34:14>> Um Okay. You I guess you could. Yeah. If Warren doesn't play, >> but if $4,500 Kenan Yeah. Even if he
34:22does, who cares? Uh, the Tennessee Titans playing against the Cincinnati Bengals. All right, here's my >> the Jeffrey Simmons list Titans going
34:30against Brown here.
34:31>> The Jeffrey Simmons list Titans. All right, let me let me give you my my hot take of the week.
34:36>> Jamar Chase. Jamar Chase has been in Joe Bau's ear and he's saying, "Buddy, this ain't working for me. You were [ __ ]
34:43you were [ __ ] with my numbers, Joe.
34:45We got to get We're We are playing the Tennessee Titans and I have >> Well, he I think I believe he has 312
34:51receiving yards on the season.
34:53>> Uh do we think that Jamar Chase can just double his season total in receiving yards in this game against the
34:58Tennessee? If they went into this game and they said, "We want to see if it's possible to double your season receiving
35:04yards in this game. Could they do it?" I think the answer to that is yes.
35:08>> Yeah, I think it's a good spot for Chase for sure. Like there's been a lot of talk of, you know, is T. Higgins, a new
35:14wide receiver, one in town. Um, Chase hasn't had a 100 yard game yet this year. He's still been scoring at an okay
35:21rate. Um, outside of the concussion game just because he scored so many touchdowns, but yeah, maybe this is the ultimate diva wide receiver spot. Um, I
35:32think because like I guess I mean the Bengals have a massive team total, but I don't know like how anxious I you have a ton of
35:42projected ownership on this right now.
35:43I'm curious to see what it actually comes in because I I just think like Flowers is such a blowup spot. Um, and
35:50there's like a lot of fun mid-pric receivers. Are people going to be pumped to do Bengals passing game stacks if they think they're just going to blow
35:57Tennessee out of the water? Like I I actually think in this day and age DFS the like, you know what everyone's going
36:04to be really excited to do is play the player who scored like 12 points per game all year and just pile in $6,300
36:09Chase Brown based on >> You know what? You're so right. And actually, I'm here now that we've now we've gotten through. [ __ ] Ashen Genty.
36:17Parker Washington. Gold star Jamar Chase. There's no world where Jamar Chase is okay with T. Higgins sunning him this bad. I'm sorry. I I'm sure I'm
36:28sure Jamar Chase and T. Higgins have legitimate love for one another. But I also know that Jamar Chase has that strain of being a superstar wide
36:35receiver where you know what he does after a game? He goes and looks at the stat sheet and he says, "How many yards
36:40did I have? Sure, he does. I think he's aware of the stat sheet as he's playing >> as he No, he literally he probably has a
36:47trainer on the sideline whose job is to say, "This is how many yards you have.
36:51This is how many more you need for 100 yards." I I'm being so for real. I think Smart Chase snatches his chain back
36:57predicting a final statline. Eight receptions, 144 yards, two touchdowns, and everyone who plays $6,300 Chase Brown thinking they're so smart gets 11
37:07fantasy points. And I hope you guys all really enjoy those 11 fantasy points.
37:12>> Yeah, I'm I'm pretty excited about this about this chase spot the more that we talk about this. It it they can do what
37:18they can score points however they wish to score points against the Tennessee Titans. And I think that they would wish to score them via Jamar Chase as much as
37:25possible. That just they they got to get him roll. They got to get him a big play. They got to get him on a post
37:30route. They got to get the gritty going.
37:32Get the vibes up. Yeah, I'm I'm I'm with you on this.
37:37They do. They do need to get the vibes up. And I don't think the I don't think your vibe on P like with Chase. I
37:45certainly would believe there's organizational pressure to get him his numbers. You know, this team does not care how Chase Brown feels, man.
37:52>> Well, he's not under contract next year.
37:53If anything, they want to keep they want to wage suppress him.
37:56>> Yes. Like literally, if anything, they're like, "Hey, Taj Boyd, you want to get your first NFL touchdown against the Tennessee Titans? Come on in,
38:02brother."
38:03>> Taj Boyd. Clemson. Clemson. Great. Taj Boyd.
38:08>> Wait, >> you said Taj Boyd instead of Taj Brooks.
38:10>> Taj Boyd. The old the old quarterback.
38:12>> Taj Boyd played for Clemson like way back like 15 years ago.
38:16>> Yes.
38:16>> And was on the Jets for a while as well.
38:19>> And the Montreal Alowettes.
38:21>> Taj Brooks, Texas Tech.
38:24>> Yeah. Yeah.
38:26>> Okay. All right. There we go. Uh the Atlanta Falcons playing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 45 and a half total here.
38:33Very odd stuff.
38:35for Bejian Robinson only averaging 7.1 fantasy points per game as a pass.
38:41>> What happened to the people that were that were victory lapping that he should have gone ahead of Jamir Gibbs after he
38:45was having like games where he scored less than Jamir Gibbs?
38:50>> Um it's a good it's a good question.
38:53>> Those people have been quiet lately.
38:55>> A lot of a lot of a lot of football a lot of football left to play. Um, yeah.
39:00I mean, look, if you ever wanted to play Bejon Robinson as a as a lowowned hammer, I mean, you you most certainly
39:06will have the opportunity to do it this week because you've got Brown, the the aforementioned Brown, Belle Tutin, Javante Gibbs. There's a chance that
39:15Bejian is like the seventh most owned running back um of the entire slate.
39:20Now, which is not even to say that I think you should jam him in. Um the usage has been very good obviously, but
39:26I What is up with the passing game usage? Why? Why? Why would they not be making more of an effort to pass him the
39:31ball?
39:32>> It's It's bizarre, that's for sure. Um I I mean, Bejian's a totally fine play and anytime you get one of the best players
39:41in the NFL at reduced ownership, I think is a worthwhile play. I I think I probably have so many mid to highriced
39:49wide receivers that I'm excited about playing this week. Chase, Flowers, Parker Washington, Garrett Wilson, potentially Justin Jefferson. Um, probably some more that we'll get to. I
40:00talked about J Mo. Um, like I I think I'm probably just going to be spending down at running back. I think I'm
40:05probably going to be more like putting Tuton in, maybe Chase Brown, maybe Bucky Irving. Um, I'm probably not going to be
40:14doing as much of the $8,500 Bejon. I mean, I I might play 7K London. like this would be another mid to high price
40:21wide receiver that looks really appetizing to me. Um but pro probably like yeah pro probably not going to have room for Bejon in terms of what I want
40:31to do but really great play and then Bucky is probably what I want to be doing. I continue to be really excited
40:37about this role. I also think that the passing game role is bound to perk back up with Baker Mayfield. It didn't last
40:44week he got two targets. They had 11 drop backs.
40:4611.
40:47>> Scale that out. Two targets, not so bad on 11 drop backs. Um I'm I'm overall um I think how much of the rushing work
40:56he's consolidated. The potential to see five, six targets in a game where Baker Mayfield is back and they actually have to drop back 30 times instead of 11. Um
41:03pretty exciting to me. I'm I'm I'm very pumped up for Buckyy's second half and then I don't know. We'll see beyond that
41:10if there's anything in this game. Does 5,800 mecha interest you? Do you want 16 targets for 48 yards?
41:16>> No, dude. I'm actually I'm actually um like so over achuka. What are What is your What is your thoughts on that? Like
41:24I just I I think >> I've never liked this guy. So >> yeah, I just I just think I'm ready to
41:30say he's he's not very good. I think >> I mean he's like fine. I just think he has no juice.
41:37Maybe maybe that's more now I tell you the more interesting thing which would be what happens if he doesn't play. What
41:45happens if we literally run back the same thing from last week where Kate Dotton and Ted Hurst are in every um you
41:53know every projected optimal lineup.
41:55They they got small price increases. So Kate Dotton is now 3,400. Ted Urst is 3,800. TZ Johnson also ran uh basically
42:04the same amount of routes. Now again, poison the well with the 11 drop back sample. So it's kind of hard to say.
42:11>> Honestly, I think I'd probably run it back. I think I I think I would probably just run it back, man.
42:17>> Yeah, maybe. We'll see what the ownership is. I mean, I'd rather play Jacobe Lane than Ted Hurst.
42:23>> I would also rather play Jacobe Lane than Ted Hurst. But >> I mean, we do need >> cheap plays this week, right? There are
42:31a lot of expensive. Like I just said I wanted to play Jamar Chase. I mean, he's not even in either of the two games of
42:35the week, you know, >> so you got to you got to find someone cheap. What about what about I mean, how
42:41did you not lead with Kenny Gainwell potentially not playing in your your goat respecting your game, Bucky?
42:48>> Is he Is he actually at risk?
42:51>> I He did not practice. He He He did not practice Wednesday.
42:55>> Hip. Oh, well, that's fun. Um, I mean, I think that he's barely playing anyway, so I don't really care.
43:04>> He got a lot of carries last week, but that was like a classic case of they gave Bucky literally 10 carries on the
43:10first drive, and I think they were like, "Whoa, okay, well, we don't want to give him 45 touches, so we got to mix in
43:15gain." Well, like Bucky sold 17 carries and two targets at halftime, and then it got to garbage time in the second half.
43:20And so, I saw some people like commenting on like, "It's back to a split." It's like, well, yeah, if a team
43:28If a team runs the ball 45 times, like they're going to have to split the work.
43:32It's not going to be it's not going to be 35 carries for 190 pound Bucky Irving, but he still had 24 of them. So,
43:38I'm personally okay with it. Um, I don't think that like that percentage scales down. Two weeks ago, he had 61 snaps out
43:46of 73. Um, but that'd be even better for the pass game stuff, right? I mean, Sean Tucker might take some like short
43:52yardage goal line reps. We've seen that like at the literal one yard line. I'm sure he'll take a few early down carries
43:58if Kenny Gwell doesn't play, but yeah, if we can get like locked in, you know, two-minute drill, more of the third down
44:05passing stuff, I'm I'm all in on that.
44:07So, that's that sounds great. Everything Everything's coming up Bucky lately. I'm I'm happy to see it.
44:14>> Lot of options. Maybe this keeps Toutin from actually getting that own because there are so many options in that sort
44:19of $5500 to $6,500 range. All right, the second game of the year. Gainwell was also one of Jeremy Fowler's top 25 trade
44:27candidates, by the way.
44:29>> Who's trading for Kenny Gainwell on that contract?
44:32>> What What is the possible market there?
44:35>> Can he play wide receiver? Does he want to be a Does he want to be a wide receiver for the Chiefs?
44:42>> Can the Chiefs trade for Michael Wilson?
44:44Is Kendrick Borne available? Does Kendrick Borne want to play for the Kansas City Chiefs? It's so dire. I can never >> Allen would play for the Kansas City
44:52Chiefs.
44:53I'll trade a third. You guys, you can have a third and get him Get him on my team, bro. I can't I can't watch I I
45:00can't watch like Noah Gray be a critical feat to the Kansas City Chiefs offense anymore. It was so >> Did you see that snaps from Andrew
45:07Armstrong?
45:08>> I did. I did. That that Seattle game was a worse Nadier than losing to the Chargers and Mahomes tearing his ACL. Like truly, it was
45:20worse than that. It it was unbearable.
45:25The Dallas Cowboys are playing the Arizona Cardinals with a 54 and a half total. Dak is 6,300. Jacobe is 5700
45:35because Michael Wilson has done nothing >> since Marvin Harrison Jr.'s been traded.
45:42He is only 6,200. If Jeremiah Love finds a way to play in this game, he is 5,400.
45:48Bourne is 3,900. I mean, >> yeah, >> dude. There's a potential fantasy bonanza in in this game.
45:56>> What is the love ownership going to be?
45:59>> Is that the most important question of the week?
46:01>> Zero. Z. No one.
46:03>> No, it's not going to be zero. It's not going to be zero. 5,400. It's not going to be zero.
46:07>> No one's playing this guy. I promise you. Promise.
46:10>> Okay, I'll I'll choose to believe your pro. If that's If that's true, then screw Garrett Wilson. That's my gold star play. You're telling me that that
46:18Jeremiah Love third overall pick at $5,400 in a game with a 54 and a half total. People aren't going to be
46:25interested in that. I think people will be interested in that.
46:28>> He will he will max out. He will he will absolutely max out at like 6.7%.
46:36>> I think he could be like 20.
46:39>> There's no world. There's no world. How could he possibly How could he possibly be 20 >> in the like in the spy?
46:49>> I mean, maybe he could get to 10. Maybe he could get to 10.
46:52>> Okay. I don't any of these numbers. 6 10 100 for me.
46:57>> Because what? Alier's questionable, right? So, he's >> I don't give a I don't give a crap if Alier plays or not. He can't beat out
47:02Bam Knight.
47:03>> If If Alier gets ruled out, maybe that gets him to 12 still. Probably not even though.
47:09>> Please don't rule out Tyler Algier.
47:10Please don't tell.
47:11>> It's an afternoon. It's an afternoon game anyway. So >> I want I need Alier in cuz like I that so doesn't matter to me cuz like
47:18whatever like Alier.
47:20>> So So break this down to me. Is your >> Someone asked me for some copium on Jeremiah Love the other day and I was
47:25like well essentially >> it's pretty easy which is >> cope. Well, you do need to cope because he's been terrible. But I will I will
47:33give you the copium, which is that his two ankles were really hurting and now theoretically they should not be hurting anymore and has the lead back.
47:41>> Yeah, he's a third overall pick. He's amazing at football. He got hurt. Now he's healthy. He's playing in a game
47:45with 54 and a half total. He's going to have 25 points this week.
47:51>> You think that many?
47:53>> Maybe 35. I don't know. We'll see how high we can get.
47:58I I'm worried. Well, so I am obviously worried that Jeremiah loves having a little bit of a Ashen Genty style rookie
48:06year where he like looks pretty good but just has nowhere to go. That that issue gets solved against the Cowboys though
48:12the same way that it got solved for Genty last year against the Bears.
48:16>> So many places to go against the Cowboys.
48:19>> So many lot of space.
48:20>> All the places you'll go. a lot of lot of wide open a lot of wide open prairie for running backs to move from my love.
48:28You know what >> Damen Pierce like people like the the broadcast was saying like man I've been impressed with this Damen Pierce guy. I
48:34was like are you? Cuz like that's not the same Damen Pierce I'm watching but like there's there's a lot of wide open
48:39room I guess like even if you're Damen Pierce you can kind of hit four yards a carry against this Dallas defense.
48:47>> Well, can I interest you in Michael Wilson against the this same defense?
48:50Yeah, of course you can. Yeah, I I I I love expected fantasy points that never turn into real fantasy points.
48:55>> Well, who's the Okay, so who is the better play, assuming both of them are are not particularly owned?
49:02>> Yeah, man. I don't know, man. I I think I think I could get to I think I could get to to some Michael Wilson here in in
49:08this slate. Like quite a bit of it, actually.
49:12>> Lava is going to be the highest scoring running back on the slate and he's going to be the cheapest playable running
49:16back.
49:17I mean, Jacob, if you're right about this, it's going to be like an alltimer because you're not going to be holding
49:24hands with anybody.
49:27>> He's the button is locked on Jeremiah Love.
49:31>> All right.
49:32>> More locked.
49:32>> I I love it and I support it.
49:34>> If we get to Sunday morning and ETR is projecting his ownership at 10 or under, I'm playing more DFS lineups that I've
49:41played all year just to get more Jeremiah Love lineups.
49:45>> I think you'll get it. I think you'll get it. Now, >> I pray.
49:48>> Now, can I interest you in one Mr.
49:51George Pickins or or is he just has he shown that he's just a CD Lamb off the field back up?
49:57>> Yeah, like a a total CD Lamb off the- field merchant.
50:02>> Yeah, I like probably a It's probably a decent play, but I'm the vibes don't seem great with with Pickkins. I would
50:13probably >> I certainly do not.
50:16>> Yeah, I'm probably more interested in just spending up for a lamb. I mean, like if you're spending down to 5,400
50:21love, then like you can probably get the lamb. And then the guy who also is like completely playable is Ryan Florenoi.
50:30>> Uh I don't know, man. Ryan Florenoi. $4,600 Ryan Florenoi. I'm probably good on that. I'm probably good on He
50:40>> He's fine. I just like I I would rather play I honestly would rather play Bourne. Truly, I would rather play
50:47Kendrick Bourne. Neither of whom will will really be out. Great price great pricing from DraftKings keeping Jake Ferguson at $4,100 as he is like 30
50:56$3,200 Jake Ferguson.
50:59>> Like maybe maybe I could talk myself into $3,200 Jake Ferguson. No world where I'm talking myself into $4,100.
51:07has just taken the Jake Ferguson role.
51:10Like it's just they he's the third pass catcher now. He does like kind of the underneath stuff, but he also will
51:15actually get some downfield stuff. But yeah, he's he's basically this the tight end and then they've just stopped throwing to tight ends.
51:22>> Yeah. So let's assume like Okay, let's assume Alier gets ruled out early.
51:31Like let's say he doesn't practice today >> and he's and he's ruled out.
51:36What I'm curious about more so than the Jeremiah Love ownership is is Brousette because he's 5700 and it just feels like
51:45if he grinds to 21 and I guess we haven't even mentioned Trey McBride. I mean in the context of this like McBride
51:50actually kind of hard to play because you do just like >> hard to play. He's been like lowowned the last few slates because he's so
51:56expensive at tight end and there's so much value at that position.
52:01>> There is so much value at the position.
52:03I it's honestly been like the Sims have been giving a lot of like obviously like two tight end lineups and neither of
52:08them have been expensive ones. So I will say I mean talking through like wanting to play these guys like I do like
52:14Michael Wilson more than McBride and I think I like Chase more than Lamb given like actually I I would say Lamb and
52:24Flowers >> Lamb and Flowers are going to hold hands to be the most owned wide receivers this late. I don't know which one will be
52:32which. It' be too early to tell. But I I think I've got a slight preference for Chase over Lamb given the the ownership
52:41discrepancy.
52:41>> I'm with you. I'll play more Chase than Lamb, too, I think.
52:45>> Yeah. Um Okay, there you go. Dallas, Arizona. Good game. Going to be a lot of players from these games in optimal
52:52lineups.
52:53>> I assume this game is at 3:25 because we never get any games on the shift cap.
52:57>> No, no. Final final game. Final game of the of the noon window.
53:02>> We get this in the noon window. All right. Well, I'll let you guys know my my pick them in advance. I'll be taking
53:07the higher on Jeremiah Love.
53:09>> Okay, there you go. All All of them.
53:10We're actually just going to do all of them. Yards, receptions, touchdowns, all of them.
53:14>> Yeah.
53:14>> Uh a game a game we should thank our lucky stars. We don't have to watch in the noon window for chip chasing. The
53:20Los Angeles Chargers and the Los Angeles Rams. The battle of Los Angeles.
53:25You know what's is is wild is Puka has like the best role in fantasy football.
53:32It's completely insane. He's projected for a bazillion points. Still don't think he really gets played that much this week because this game sucks. The
53:40Chargers cannot The Chargers cannot push the Rams. And like yes, Lamb, Flowers, and Chase all project worse than Puka, but combined their ceiling projections
53:52are all close enough and they'll all siphon off enough ownership that if you're just like, "Hey man, the Rams got nothing." And I think Puka is going to
54:00get 27 targets in this game, you will be able to do so with only like 17% of your friends instead of 35% of them.
54:08>> Puka is a great play. Kairen's a great play.
54:12Cororum continues to be a great late swap play. Um but also like honestly just a totally fine play.
54:21I want to talk about two Chargers.
54:24One is Lad Mcconi who I think is actually a good play.
54:27>> Come on.
54:28>> Um because he's been he's been it's he's been totally fine when he's been healthy on the field. He just keeps getting
54:34hurt.
54:34>> He just doesn't get hurt. I think he's actually a totally fine play. That one I believe no one's going to want to do
54:40that. No one's going to be interested in doing that. I'm interested in doing that. Um, and then this one I'm probably
54:45not even going to play because I just want to play so much love, but I want to just put it out there. Do you know the
54:52episode of The Office in which Dwight Shroo is told to go steer the boat, but he's not actually steering the boat.
55:01It's like electronically >> steering itself, but he thinks he's steering the boat.
55:05>> I think that's going to be Mike McDaniel this week. Like he's going to have the headset on. He's gonna have his joggers.
55:11He's gonna have the play sheet. And he's gonna be like, "All right, I'm calling shift shift Y flex pancake like Katon
55:19Mitchell angle screen." And he's like, "The fuck?" Like, "Why' they just run duo? That's not what I called." Like, "Why do they keep running plays I didn't
55:25call?" And it's like Jim Harbaugh like told Mike McDaniel that like he still gets to be the offensive coordinator and he gets to wear the offensive
55:31coordinator costume, but like he's not actually doing it anymore. He's just play acting. Um, and what if the adjustment out of the
55:42by-week is we're going to run the ball 25 times with a Marian Hampton?
55:48>> I mean, I think a strong possibility of that being the case or that being the plan and then the game starts and you're
55:57down 14 points and Justin Herbert has already thrown two pick sixes and you're like, well, >> I guess we do probably have to throw the
56:04ball. We can't just easily lose again.
56:06We can't just we can't just lose 24 to zero again. So, we do have to throw the ball. And also, that also presupposes
56:14that Amarian Hampton will like do something with those 25 carries. And he just like really might not be capable of doing something. Like I I wonder if
56:23that's maybe even the plan in most games is like, "All right, let's like let's calm everything down. No bells and whistles. No, like like we don't even
56:31need to do play action. Like, let's just run run pass punt. like let's just get through a couple drives, right? And then
56:38they try and get through a couple drives and like Herbert has taken a horrible sack. The other team just like easily
56:43scored against them because the defense sucks. And they get to the end of the first quarter and they're all just looking at each other on the sideline
56:50like how are we this bad? How is it possible that we're this we're so bad?
56:54And then like that's like when Kamani Vidal comes in is we're like okay well I guess go in. Yeah, whatever.
57:01>> It's insane.
57:02>> That's probably how it works out. So yeah, I don't think I'm gonna play the Hampton thing. I just I just I just want
57:06to say that if it happens that I saw the possib >> I also really wanted to do the bit that I've been thinking of about Mike
57:14McDaniel.
57:15>> It's that's a really that's a really good bit. Um that'll probably be really easy for Lou to make a clip of later. Mike
57:22McDaniel in a in a captain's hat. I guess one other thing would be uh do we do we go back to the Higgby well or was
57:31it so discouraging last week because >> I expected to look at the usage stuff and be like oh they actually changed
57:38positions and Davis Allen and Higgby were deploy no it was the same usage that they've been and it was just the
57:43the ball found Davis Allen you know I get I well actually probably if you're playing the Rams and there's no Devonte Adams
57:51probably the easiest thing to do right now is say hey whatever role pull the vestigial tale of Terence Ferguson was supposed to be playing. If that's being
57:59played by 33-year-old Tyler Higgby, how about we just don't let that guy get wide open? How about we just like stick
58:05our best coverage safety on that guy and just not give free 25 yard plays and that's probably pretty easy to do. Um
58:14yeah, that's this game this game stinks though. I mean Kairen Kairen very good play. uh >> the the Cororum stuff is like kind of a
58:22false flag and that he's just been effective on the touches he has gotten, but there's not been a meaningful change in the way they've been deployed really.
58:31>> Uh probably the probably the hardest question of the week, Jacob, >> in the New England Patriots Miami Dolphins game, which is how washed is AJ
58:40Brown? Is it two games of being washed and he is now clean and and out of the other side and and unwashed? He's
58:46feeling good. He's he's gotten out of the shower. He's dried his hair. He's put his uh you know did did his his uh
58:52skin care. He's feeling great. Or is AJ Brown is this is this uh you know Randy Moss in a Titans jersey? Is this Dez
59:01Bryant in a Ravens jersey? Julio Jones in an Eagles jersey. Um I I I don't know. I do know that if you don't
59:11believe or if you have good reason not to believe, you're going to get paid off because AJ Brown is probably the answer
59:16to who's going to be the most owned. Uh I mean, certainly the most owned mid-tier player of the slate.
59:21>> Yeah. I mean, I think he's a totally reasonable play in a vacuum. $1,500 is a crazy price for AJ Brown based on his
59:30likely role, based on preseason expectations, based on the fact he's Arthur Juan Brown. Um, I I just like my rule of thumb would be on this type of
59:40spot is like let the market decide and if the market's going to own him a lot, which I think that they probably are,
59:47like I'm just not I'm not going to be the one playing a ton of ownership on a player who might just suck. It's not not going
59:56to be me. So, if them if if he rebounds this week, pays off, awesome. Good for him. Happy for him. one of my favorite
60:05players, but I I'm probably just going to take the other side of it at what I expect his ownership to be. And like I I
60:14mean I definitely think like May Brown stuff is fair, but I I think there's there's multiple other decent plays off of Brown too that are fun. I mean Randre
60:21is going to be owned, but I think he's a really good play. And then um the DVP stuff with Miami against tight ends is
60:30crazy. they they just give it up to everyone at the tight end position every single week. They don't defend it at
60:36all. So, I think Hunter Henry at $4,300 is like kind of a gross price, but um could hit and could hit in a way that
60:43leverages off of Brown and Raandre and like if you want to get really crazy, you could just play Eli Rarin. Um but
60:50tight ends Miami have been like an absolute cheat code this year and with multiple other Patriots probably getting ownership, I'm I'm inclined to lean into
60:58that a little bit. I don't think I'm gonna play any um Dolphins.
61:02>> No, I mean like Olli Gordon, whatever.
61:04Malika Malik Washington is he he projects well pretty much every single week because his targets are nice and that's the way projection systems are
61:14built out is they're built out from opportunity and Malik Washington runs a lot of routes and has a lot of opportunity. Actually has like not as
61:21gross of an A dot as you would think either. You'd think like Malik Washington he's he's getting literally targeted behind the line of scrimmage
61:26but it's not that bad. And you know, you do kind of need salary this week. So, I could see I could actually see uh
61:32Demorio Douglas, whose route rate and and target rate is fine. I mean, the Bears game was just a little bit odd. Um
61:39in in terms of how the the Patriots went about scoring points. Um I don't I don't really blame him much for that. And he's
61:46very good leverage on very own AJ Brown.
61:49And I mean, if you think that Drake May does what um the Patriots did to what the Raiders and the Jets, was that the
61:57games where they just kept hawking the ball? Uh I mean, Drake May, you you you want to play Drake May, Hunter, Henry,
62:04Deario Douglas, you'll be you'll be holding hands with no one. Those are those are totally >> uh un unpaved roads that you can go
62:13exploring down the Amazonian rainforest on. And that I actually bet that stuff will sim pretty well too because the Dolphins just they apply no resistance
62:23on defense. It's actually insane.
62:24>> No, they don't play defense.
62:25>> It's insane the Jets lost that game.
62:28>> If the Jets would just throw >> if they would just throw a forward pass.
62:32I don't know. I don't know why they won't do it, but if they would just throw a forward pass, they they could
62:36pretty easily have won that game.
62:38>> They That was a massive blown game.
62:40Patriots are going to annihilate the Dolphins this week. And uh Cale Caleb Douglas, I I wanted to touch on him because he had the really big game.
62:47Welcome to Christian Gonzalez Island, buddy. You're seeing zero targets this week. I love you, but not happening this week.
62:53>> Yeah. Uh okay. And the final game. Wow.
62:57Nice. Final game very quickly. 40 and a half total. Is this the lowest? Second lowest total of the slate is the Kansas
63:04City Chiefs and the Denver.
63:06>> This might be an AFC Championship preview and also it will be the most unwatchable game played on Sunday. This will be this will be like do you know
63:13like when you when you're scrolling you're scrolling Twitter and you see a video that's like obvious AI slop and you're like okay well this this is like
63:21AI slop football. This is like, okay, >> what if we did what if we took Mahomes and we made his best pass catcher, a
63:3135year-old with a bum ankle >> and then we told Bo Nicks that if he throws the ball past the line of
63:38scrimmage, he goes to prison for life.
63:41That's that's that's these games. I mean, Jaylen Wadd injured, Rashi Rice injured, Travis Kelce injured, Xavier Worthy still Xavier Worthy. Um,
63:51Courtland Sutton should retire. Like, sure, Jonah Coleman's getting 50% of the rushes. Just the second you think you can play Jonah Coleman, Shawn Peyton's
63:59gonna be like, "Sorry, man. I had to make it up to JK Dobbins. I got to give him another touchdown." Like, he was
64:03really pissed off. He unfollowed the Broncos on Instagram, so I got to do that. Did you see this great this great
64:09clip from uh >> He did. He did. He literally unfollowed the It's incredible. So, a media member
64:19finally I I very weird >> they need to embarrass him. They need to just they need to just grow up and cut
64:24him.
64:25>> They need to cut him. So, one of the Denver Broncos media finally did this to Shawn Peyton because he's talking about
64:32Jaylen Wadd potentially not playing this week and he's like, "Oh, dude, you know, I've been really wanting to work Marvin Mims into the offense." And one of the
64:39media guys is like, "Hey, man. He's been on your team for about a decade. Why don't you just play him more? Why don't
64:44you just give him the ball?" And and Shawn goes, "Oh, I know." It's like, "Okay, man. All right, enough." I I've
64:51I've had it up to here with Shawn Peyton, dude. I think that I think the straw that broke the camel's back for me
64:57with Shawn Peyton personally was him telling the offensive coordinator's wife to draft Jaylen Waddle. To me, that's a step too far, man. You're you're you're
65:06now >> told his own wife to do it.
65:09>> Oh, I messed up the story. I mean, to be lying to people in your personal life about how many fantasy points your
65:16players are going to get is cra like, okay, lie to me. Who am I to you, Sean Payeyton? Lie to me. I don't care. You
65:21know, I'm a grown man. I can handle it.
65:22To lie to your own wife about your plans for using Jail Motto in your offense is crazy. You have a problem, Sean. You
65:29have a problem and you need to solve it, man. I'm the Both of these teams are just pissing me off.
65:37>> That was so good.
65:41clip that. Um, yeah, like I I legitimately would not be remotely surprised if either of these teams played in the Super Bowl, but they are
65:52also horrible. And they will play the worst game.
65:56>> They'll play a worse game than like the Titans and Browns did last week by a mile from a watchability perspective.
66:02This game won't appear on Red Zone. It will be like a brutal, painful slog.
66:10I like if Jaylen Wall doesn't play, I don't even know what Bronco I'd want to play. Like it's like theoretically that
66:15should open up cheap value, but I just don't want to do that.
66:19>> No, theoretically it just removes all it does is remove seven for 44 from the offense and then disperses that between
66:26five different players.
66:28>> Yeah, it's like a great like we got to add another target to little Jordan Humphrey. Yeah, I was going to say I can
66:33I can scream Troy Franklin in my AFC West league.
66:39>> I I I guess Coleman at 4300 is like ostensibly a lead back. So like that should interest me. But like I just
66:46think he's probably going to have seven points and you're probably just going to lose on raw points to guys who played
66:52more expensive running backs. So I don't even know if I'll get there.
66:57Rice is going to be back. I'm not playing him at $6,400. Are you kidding me? Um, >> and then that also makes Worthy and
67:03Kelsey unplayable, >> who were unplayable anyway.
67:07>> Um, and then I guess like Walker, I mean, he's like no one's gonna play Walker. He's best player in fantasy this
67:13year. He had like 35 points against the Broncos the last time he played them. No one's going to play him.
67:18>> So, if I was going to play anyone, that's who I would play.
67:22>> Yeah. I I like so looking at the slate, I think something smart to do would be to try and leave yourself some late swap
67:30>> to make this decision on Walker. The issue is >> have 45 like he he pulverized the Broncos the last time you played. I I
67:38think I think the way you do it is that if you are getting some like Puka stuff in your Sims or whatever,
67:44>> try and get a four wide receiver build or something to like have the decision between Puka and Walker or something
67:50like that because we're going to weirdly you're actually going to gain a ton of contextual information because the two mega games are in the early slate
68:00because Arizona Dallas is in the early slate and Baltimore Buffalo is in the early slate and and you have these later
68:08games that have way less ownership. New England, Miami, KC, Denver, and uh Chargers, Rams are all in the late SL because I obviously you'd love to play.
68:18I mean, Kenneth Walker before last week was pacing to have a top 10 fantasy football season of all time, has a
68:23really bad game against the Seahawks. Um you truly many such cases, but uh yeah, I I I think that's a I think that's a
68:31good call. Uh okay, man. Let's build a team. This is going to be this is going to be tough. It's gonna be tough to
68:37build a team. Um there lot of lot of I honestly like an incredible amount of of good.
68:42>> There's a lot of expensive guys I want to play. Less there's fewer cheap guys.
68:46>> Cheap guys. Yeah.
68:47>> Yeah. All right. Well, Gold Star Jeremiah Love RV1.
68:53>> That That will help. That will help uh to get us there. All right. I'm going to go.
68:58>> Is someone gonna wind up played this week just because people are trying to save salary?
69:02My guess is the way it will happen is by Sunday someone who's like questionable right now is not gonna play and then
69:09that will you know I don't know >> I don't know if that is Eggbuka I don't know if that's Michael Wilson. I don't
69:14know if it's >> someone's someone's going to pull a hammy in practice that we haven't even heard of yet.
69:19>> Yeah. And and there will be you know and then all of a sudden everyone is playing Caleb Douglas or or whatever you know is
69:26kind of is kind of how that one will go.
69:29All right. I will take my gold star play. That is going to put us in a weird spot, but I'm taking Jamar Chase. I I
69:35just like I know this dude has been texting Joe Burrow all week like, "Yeah, >> hey man.
69:40>> Target."
69:42>> Yeah, I know you're all about uh redistributing the wealth, Joe. So, why don't you redistribute some of that [ __ ]
69:47from T Higgins over to me this week, brother? Look at who they're guarding me with. This guy This guy's going to the
69:53Canadian League next year. Let's do it.
69:56>> I love that. Um, Z Flowers, let's let's see how let's see if we can get multiple sevenk wide receivers in here or not.
70:03I'm excited.
70:04>> I I think we I think we can. I think we I I predict that we are going to be able
70:08to do this.
70:08>> I just I I I just want to watch the Flower score 40 fantasy points and I want to have him in my lineup when it
70:15happens.
70:16>> All right. I >> Is that also a noon game? It is, isn't it?
70:19>> It is. It is also >> Are we going to have fun on the ship cast one time?
70:23>> I'm hoping. I'm hoping so. All right.
70:25>> It's week. It's well it's always it's always higher week. I am gonna save us some money and I'm gonna do something
70:35disgusting that you're not going to like. I'm not going to like. No one No one's going to like it. Um I'm going to
70:42put Mason Taylor in our lineup.
70:45>> Oh, okay.
70:45>> At at 3,300. I was ready. I've been ready for Sadi to to yank his chain.
70:51>> No, >> there's been there's been no there's been no chain yanking right here. Kenyan Sadik is is now um I mean he's he's not
71:00I was about to say he's not even Eli Raren dude he's like uh he's like Elijah Higgins who actually if if Bourne
71:07doesn't though >> well I was well I was going to say Elijah Higgins like actually like lowkey might like I'm being so for real when I
71:14say this because Jaylen Brooks is now out injured so like I think Elijah Higgins might run like 60% of the routes
71:21uh this this week. So, we're going to do we're gonna do Mason Taylor. Oh, wait.
71:25No. No, we're not. No, we're not. No, we're not. I don't know. I don't know how.
71:29>> Roll it back.
71:30>> I don't know how I did this, buddy.
71:32>> We're boarding the board.
71:33>> We're doing the polar bear. $2,500 color shoo.
71:38>> Yeah, this is a way better play.
71:40>> Yeah. I mean, he can get like two for 17, but that that could be fun, you know? 2500.
71:45>> Um, all right. What else we going to do here? I'll do I'll do basil tune. Okay, we we just needed a cheap guy and I and
71:55Kar is going to grade out fine more or less. Yeah.
71:59>> Um like if you really look at the tight end position, I mean we just did this whole show. How many tight ends like
72:05obviously we'd love to play Bowowers and McBride. Concinc Kade doesn't grade out very well. We just I mean you just actually gave like a great elucidation
72:12for why it's not a particularly good Leaporta spot. Kelsey now has worthy back. Tyler Warren has an injured groin.
72:17TJ Hawinson. I mean, be so [ __ ] serious about this T.J. Hawinson stuff.
72:22It's enough already. Kyle Pittz is like the third string tight end on the Falcons when the game is close. I'm I
72:28just I I don't have it in me to to pay $4,300 for for Hunter Henry. Harold Fannon Jr.'s had his chain snatched.
72:35Jake Ferguson doesn't even have a chain anymore. I'm not playing chalk Brett and Strange. Like, you know, there just not that many good plays at the tight end
72:43position. I'm also gonna toss us in um a defense here uh and and just to to show how it's done. I would guess honestly
72:54this is so dark, but isn't the chalk defense probably going to be the Broncos?
73:01>> Maybe. I'm not sure. I haven't looked at defenses closely enough, but maybe >> Pat looked bad last week. I think your I
73:09think your other alternative is just going all the way down to the Chargers.
73:13And then I think actually, you know, with the Raiders versus the Jets, uh, also is is very much in play. So, all
73:19right, we have 6,300 remaining per slot.
73:22So, we actually got oursel into a pretty good position here. Um, who would you like to take next?
73:30H um, yeah, we did get ourselves into a good position. So, I'll I'll go ahead and
73:41play deciding which You know what? I'll leave that to you. I'll leave that to you and then I will pick uh DJ Moore.
73:49>> Goodness gracious.
73:52All right.
73:54I'm gonna take. So, if we do Lamar, we have 6500, which leaves us just enough to either eat the absolute chalk with Chase Brown
74:05or to have a little bit of courage and play Bucky Irving or Parker Washington.
74:11What do you think?
74:13>> Um, any of the above sound great to me, honestly.
74:16>> I think we go I think we go Bucky. I I I have a greater I have a greater belief in Bucky.
74:21>> Quite comfortable to build a lot of. I mean, I guess obviously playing like $2,00.
74:30>> We have a guy projected for four and a half points in our lineup. But yes, >> but like yeah, we didn't This is going
74:37to be a fun week, I think, of DFS because yeah, I want to play a lot of these expensive receivers and you're
74:42able to get multiple of them in there pretty pretty stress free if you play Love and Tuton and that's even with an
74:47expensive quarterback. So, um, you know, you spend down a quarterback from Lamar to like Jacobe Buret or something, >> you could you don't have to ride the
74:55Colar Bear. So, >> but I mean this might be a week where like, yeah, tight end is not amazing if you there's not like an obvious value
75:06at like 3,200, you know? It might be a week where you're just like, screw it.
75:09I'm playing Charlie Kohler or Eli Raridan or Gunnar Helm. And it's like, yeah, I'm going to get five points at tight end, but like it's I'm just going
75:18to make it up elsewhere. And if no one at tight end outside of like maybe Trey McBride or whoever scores like a ton of
75:26points, it might just be fine, right?
75:28Like if >> even even if if McBride and Bowowers both have 80 yards, >> they're in a different universe.
75:33>> They're in a different universe. Yeah.
75:35>> Right. So, it's like if you you just got to beat you got to beat the high-end tight ends with your high-end receivers.
75:40But then like if Brenton Strange has nine and TJ Hawinson has eight, it's like you you you you're fine if you play
75:48Colar and he has four, you know.
75:52>> Yeah. No doubt. Lamar Jackson, Jeremiah Love, Belle Tutin, Jamar Chase, Slowers, DJ Moore, Charlie Kar, Maris, Bucky Irving, and the Denver Broncos. You guys
76:03can get more of Jacob's work over on Thinking About Thinking. There's been new stuff up pretty much every single day. Uh, new dynasty corner just dropped
76:14this morning. Uh, the if you're if you're interested in tracking the continuation of the Somage Pine, who who is the new Who is the new I mean, it
76:22can't be it can't possibly still be Pery. Who's Who's the Is the Pline?
76:26>> It kind of It kind of still is. I was thinking, is it like V?
76:30>> Is it right now? Really? No. Cuz it's it's what it is. What the P line is is like the the least the reason why P line
76:40became or PR became such a bit for me was that like he was a handcuff in a good offense that no one cared about at
76:48all. Like for for whatever reason, it's like every other handcuff on a good offense was um just like was like highly soughta.
76:57But Pine was gross. So no one cared about him. He's just freely available.
77:00was like 2% owned all the time in like Yahoo leagues even though he was really just as good as any other ones. So he is
77:07the P line is the lowest valued enviable handcuff. And right now it's one of two people. It's Tyler Goodson or it's Sion
77:14Vaky.
77:15>> It's definitely Tyler Goodson because I actually have no belief that Sion Vaky would actually get the ball if Jir Gibbs
77:21were injured. I think they would like >> right >> they would find someone. They'd be like Isaiah Carwell you busy Latavius Murray
77:27what's going on? Tyler Goodson is the ultimate peel line because like I think we all kind of intellectually know that if Javvante Williams like if we get if
77:36Adam Shaer tweets in two hours Javvante Williams pulled up with a hamstring strain at practice today, Tyler Goodson is in line to start against the Arizona
77:43Cardinals, he would be like 78% owned in DFS. Like it would be >> what would what would uh what would the
77:50Sunday morning fab on Tyler Goodson be in in the FF?
77:54>> Through the roof. Through the roof. I mean, it would be he would he would project for like 17 points.
78:00>> Um, and so it's like and everyone knows this, but then he's just freely available on FFBC waiverss for no reason, even though there's like 15
78:08handcuffs that would project worse than him um that are owned everywhere. You know, it's like why like why is trying to think of trying to think of an
78:18example of a handcuff? But why is Brian Robinson 100% owned in fantasy football but Ray Davis is 17% owned?
78:26>> Yeah, same guy.
78:27>> Yeah, exactly.
78:28>> Yeah.
78:28>> Yeah.
78:28>> Yeah.
78:29>> Yeah.
78:29>> There you go. Uh all right, folks.
78:32>> More more content exactly like that over on Thinking About Thinking. Make sure to like the video. Make sure to comment
78:38down below for your chance to win $10,000 if this uh Jeremiah Love Charlie Kar lineup indeed wins the $2.5 million fantasy football millionaire
78:49this weekend. And I'll be back with all of you guys
