0:00One thing too, I thought was kind of
0:01cool with Keenum
0:02is we got to see the offense for the
0:04first time and it was like
0:05>> I Yeah, I have a bunch of notes about
0:06this. Yeah.
0:07>> about them throwing on time. Like first
0:10first read throw rate, ball coming out
0:12within 2 and 1/2 seconds because we know
0:14Caleb wants to hold the football. He
0:15wants the big game hunt. And those
0:18things are going to help guys like
0:19Burden and Raymond. Unfortunately, we're
0:21going to have to keep living this life
0:22at least for the short term because it
0:24just fits with the way he wins.
0:26>> Well, this was the hilarious thing. So,
0:27I was like, "Thank you to Case Keenum.
0:29Even if you don't play again, like Case
0:31Keenum
0:33like pulled the curtain back a little
0:34bit so we can see like what is this
0:36offense designed to be?" Because
0:39>> Yep.
0:39>> Caleb Williams has a 31% first read
0:41throw rate. That's the lowest in the
0:43league. Case Keenum had a 69% first read
0:46throw rate, tied with Jordan Love for
0:48the highest in the league. So, we're
0:49we're understanding like who is the ball
0:51actually supposed to go to. And then
0:53hilariously
0:54KhaDarel Hodge had his highest first
0:56read target rate of the season at 19%.
0:58So, he is actually an important part of
1:01the offense. However, uh and much more
1:04encouragingly, Luther Burden was at 26%
1:08first read target rate. That's an elite
1:09rate. 41% targets per hour run, so he's
1:11earning targets on top of that, but he
1:13was very much a key part of this game
1:15plan. Romeo Doubs, 19% first read target
1:18rate. I think it's fair to say that he
1:21is very likely like a bigger part of the
1:24game plan and of the play sheet than he
1:26has been so far. He He didn't do
1:28anything last week, 7.4. I you know, I'd
1:30feel better if Keenum were in here for
1:32Doubs, but
1:34it seems like he's a bigger part of the
1:35offense. Loveland,
1:378% first read target rate. Good news,
1:39season high.
1:40>> [laughter]
1:42>> Very good.
1:44Very low. So,
1:46and a 1.08 adot, wasn't just you know,
1:49he wasn't a part of last week's game
1:51plan. So,
1:52that's bad. He almost scored a
1:54touchdown.
1:55Ruled down, you know, just short, but
1:57still like the the targets weren't there
1:59for him. And that is now getting really
2:02concerning. I do think that there will
2:05be game plans where Loveland is like a
2:06huge part of what Johnson's trying to
2:08do. But obviously he was being drafted
2:11where he's supposed to be the number
2:13one. You know, he's being drafted, you
2:15know, where where he pays off in the
2:16fourth round is like, oh, he's the Bears
2:18number one target. Like what a smash.
2:20He's looking more like most tight ends
2:22where there's going to be some weeks
2:23where he's
2:24you know, a big part of what they're
2:26doing and some weeks where he's not such
2:28a big part of what they're doing.
