Bucky Irving

PositiveValue0:02

Zack Robinson describes Bucky Irving as a 'stud' due to his versatility in both the run and pass game, noting his ability to change direction and break tackles; the coaching staff has established Irving as the clear 1A starter in the backfield. While some fantasy managers are nervous about his injury history and competition for passing-down or goal-line work, he is a 'no-brainer' value when falling to the end of the fifth or sixth round in best ball drafts, offering RB2 production at a discounted price.

0:00Uh he was asked what he has noticed
0:02about Bucky Irving, the fit that he's
0:04going to have with with Kenneth
0:05Gainwell. And Robinson said Bucky is a
0:09stud. And in fact, he he opened
0:12this answer with Buckyy's a stud. He
0:14also ended it with he's a stud. So a
0:17little little stud compliment sandwich.
0:19>> Stud compliment sandwich is nice
0:21>> from Zack Robinson. and he he he talked
0:24about um you know the the versatility he
0:27has in the pass game and and the run
0:28game, but one of the things that that he
0:32went into was like what we have seen on
0:36the field from Bucky Irving and that's
0:38the way that he runs, the way that his
0:40feet are always in the ground, so he's
0:42always able to change direction and that
0:45obviously keeps him so balanced to break
0:48tackles. Uh later on in this presser, he
0:51was asked about what Kenneth Gainwell
0:53style brings to the offense. Uh you
0:56know, talked about how versatile he is,
0:58great with the ball in his hands, very
0:59smart, great pass protector, and made
1:02this comment that uh we'll continue to
1:06find out where we can put him in the
1:08best spots along with Bucky. But
1:12everything that the Bucks have been
1:14saying this off season from Todd BS and
1:16then Zack Robinson, you know, more so
1:19from BS is listen, Buckyy's the clear
1:23starter. Like we've got a couple other
1:25good running backs, but it's it's 1A,
1:281B. Bucky's 1A. It's clear he's the
1:32starter here. Yeah, I think the Bucky
1:35stuff like I understand why people
1:38got nervous and are still nervous on
1:40Bucky Irving because you do have last
1:43year comes back off the injury and he's
1:46getting squeezed uh in the passing game
1:49and at the goal line a bit. So, he's
1:51sort of this low value touch, you know,
1:54sort of trap back running back. And
1:57that's like a frustrating place to find
1:59yourself, especially like last year, you
2:01spent a second round pick or early third
2:03round pick on Bucky Irving. It It is
2:05ultimately like a price thing. Like if
2:07Bucky was still going in the early
2:09fourth, that would be too expensive. But
2:11you get him at the end of the fifth,
2:13sometimes in the sixth round.
2:14>> Mhm.
2:15>> I I think he's kind of a no-brainer when
2:17he falls that far.
2:19It's just like one of those things where
2:22RB2s,
2:23you know, have have been overpriced at
2:25times in reddraft especially. But I
2:28think in baseball getting like a like I
2:30get why you don't want to pay up for
2:33what is probably an RB2,
2:35but you also don't want to just give
2:37away RB2s for free in baseball. And
2:40sixth round RB2 production is kind of
2:42for
