0:00No matter what strategy you're using in fantasy football, you still need to know where the best picks on the board are.
0:05If you start running back early, you need to know where the best wide receivers are and vice versa. We've already done the best running back pick
0:11in every single round. So, today we are going to cover the best wide receiver pick in every round. Then, we're going
0:15to end with a mock draft to show you where those wide receivers come on the board and how you can feel about
0:19drafting them relative to running backs.
0:21We of course going to begin in round one. I almost put Puk and Aua here, but I think that one is too easy. everyone
0:26just gets the third or fourth pick in their draft and takes Jamar Chase or takes Pukanua. But I will go out on a
0:32limb and say that last year after generating only 1.8 fantasy points per game with JJ McCarthy gone, Kyler Murray installed as the starting quarterback,
0:40we are going to be going with Justin Jefferson who has been basically the best wide receiver in the NFL, him or
0:45Chase or maybe Puka. Actually, the only player in the NFL currently who averages more yards per game than Justin Jefferson and that includes last season
0:54is Puka Nua. still more yards per game for his career. Justin Jefferson over Jamar Chase. If you look at what he's
1:00done in his career, Jefferson has been the wide receiver four, five, two, four, and eight. What is the thing that changed in 2025? It was the presence of
1:09Jig McCarthy and Max Bromer. Now, I know you guys all hate Kyler Murray, and I've done a lot of talking about Justin
1:15Jefferson on this channel. Maybe it will end up making me look stupid, but I have a ton of faith in Kevin O'Connell. And I
1:21actually have a decent amount of faith in Kyler Murray, who generated a top five points per game season for DeAndre Hopkins, the best season of Hollywood
1:28Brown's career. The only reason, frankly, that people don't like Kyler Murray is one, they saw an NFL memes post about him playing Call of Duty like
1:36four years ago and made that a key part of their personality. And two, things look so much better for the Arizona
1:41Cardinals last year when Joe when Jacobe Brassette took over. Am I holding that against Kyler? No, I think Drew Pigig and Kyler Murray was always a marriage
1:49that was destined to fail. Meanwhile, I think that KOC choosing to bring Kyler Murray on board is a clear point in the
1:57favor of Kyler Murray. I think it's a clear point in the favor of Justin Jefferson. Justin Jefferson, my favorite wide receiver pick in round one. My
2:05favorite wide receiver pick in round two. Again, another player that I've talked a ton about, but it is going to be Malik Neighbors. He is being unfairly
2:11discounted, I think, due to bad reporting basically about his knee injury. There was some bad reporting about the quote cyclops lesion that he
2:19had. But what neighbors told New York Giants reporters was that the date of the repair for the Cyclops lesion was actually done at a much earlier time
2:28frame than what Jordan Renan and other Giants beat writers have said. It's fully expected that he is going to play in week one. I think a lot of the
2:35market's anticipation for Malik Neighbors has been he's going to start the season kind of slow that I don't think I think the version of Malik
2:42Neighbors that we're going to see is going to be much closer to the 18 fantasy points per game version that we
2:47did see of him in 2024. Obviously, if Jackson Dart misses anytime, then you're going to get the Jameus Winston experience. I actually don't think the
2:54Giants are going to be very good. I am kind of off Scataboo. I am definitely off Isaiah likely. But Neighbors is just
2:59such a singular phenomenal talent. He led the NFL in targets per game as a rookie. It's so hard to lead in targets
3:05per game as a rookie, particularly for a team that did not absolutely air the ball out. It would not surprise me if
3:10Malik Neighbors actually leapfrogs JSN to lead the entire National Football League in target share. Like I think his target share could very easily be north
3:19of 30. I've actually seen in a lot of leagues Malik Neighbors go as a third round pick. Obviously, he would be my
3:25favorite third round pick, but for this exercise, you know, I wanted to be I wanted to be fair and balanced. So,
3:30we're going to be fair and balanced.
3:31We're going to treat Malik Neighbors as a second round pick and he is my favorite wide receiver pick in round two. I just I know that there's a fair
3:38amount of risk in taking him. Maybe slightly more risk than taking George Pickins. Maybe slightly more risk than taking AJ Brown. Honestly, I actually
3:46think the risk of AJ Brown age related decline is similar to the Malik Neighbors injury related decline and team risk. So, I'm going Malik Neighbors
3:54and I'm doing it with an absolute hammer. My favorite wide receiver pick in round three. We talked him about about him a little bit in the video
4:01yesterday. Jaylen Wadd is a guy that I have been actively targeting at that 3 four turn. If you had to pull Jaylen
4:07Wadd up, if you had to take Jaylen Wadd over Z Flowers, I mean that's not the way I have him ranked. But if you only
4:13have one league, you only have two leagues and you want Jaylen Wadd, I think that you definitely can get him.
4:18This is a guy who when Tyreek Kale has been off the field has generally been in that elite tier one receiver list in
4:25terms of the efficiency metrics. So yards per route run, targets per route run. He was not nearly that good last year, although I think he's better than
4:33a lot of us remembered. You know, being able to generate in that offense multiple 20 point games, multiple top five wide receiver weeks. His yards per
4:41route run last year, 2.4 with everything that was going on around that Miami Dolphins team. I actually think it's stunning to see him with a
4:502.4 yards per route run, which was by far the best on the team. I mean, 2.4 four yards per route run. In the context
4:56of that offense might be more impressive than Puka having 3.2 yards per route run with Shawn McVey as his coach and Matt
5:02Stafford as his quarterback. The Denver Broncos traded a first round pick for Wadd. They led the entire National Football League in pass attempts last
5:10year. I feel very good about investing in Jon. I know the Blue Tent. Oh, Mr.
5:14Blue tent. Hey man, listen. You are 8.3% to win your 12p person fantasy league.
5:20You need to be doing things to slide those odds in your favor because there's no difference between getting eighth in your league and getting third in your
5:27league. We want to win our league. And Jaylen Wadd is one of the players that is going to help you win your league
5:32because he is unfairly discounted relative to his performance in the NFL.
5:37This is a guy with three straight seasons of being a top 20 points per game wide receiver who you are now able
5:43to draft in the late third round after like guys who were on the freaking New York Jets. You know what I'm saying? I I
5:48really like drafting Jaylen Wadd.
5:50Frankly, my favorite wide receiver pick on the board is going to be one Mr.
5:54Luther Burden. I probably talked about no player on this channel more. Now, I understand people not wanting to draft Luther Burden. There is no player on the
6:03board right now who is being drafted with a greater degree based on what they have already done in the NFL. So the
6:09difference between what Luther Burton has already accomplished and the price that you have to pay for him, the gap is the largest of all players in fantasy
6:16football on Luther Burton. However, I am totally fine closing that gap for multiple reasons. The first being every personnel move that the Chicago Bears
6:25made this off season was believing in Luther Burton. They let me zakius go who is the same position as Luther Burton in
6:32the Ben Johnson offense. Then they traded DJ Moore for a second round pick and they said, "See you, you know, don't
6:37don't let the uh don't let the door hit you on the way out, DJ Moore. Luther Burton of all players in the last 15
6:44years in the NFL is tied as the best yards per route run of any rookie wide receiver with only Justin Jefferson. AJ
6:51Brown is the only other player who is even close to them. We also know that he has the exact same average depth of
6:57target his rookie year as Aman Ross St.
7:00Brown had his rookie year. We know that Caleb Williams had one of the best year 1 to year 2 performance increases of
7:07quarterback of all time. Really, the only quarterback who got similarly uh got a similar amount of improvement from year one to year two is Josh Allen. It's
7:16so hard for quarterbacks to get that much better kind of you are what you are as a player. I'm buying on Ben Johnson.
7:24I am buying on Caleb Williams. I'm buying on Coulson Love. I'm even kind of buying on Roma Dunay. We've got Ben
7:29Johnson saying he wants to lead the National Football League in points per game. Not only that, he said he wants to
7:34set the record for points per game.
7:37Luther Burton is the one who is going to be getting the design targets. He's going to be getting the screens. He's
7:41going to be getting the short area targets. It's going to be absolute rocket ships for Luther Burton and fantasy this upcoming year. I am
7:48drafting him with basically every opportunity that I have. Now, the next one maybe is a little bit of a cheat because I did a mock draft using
7:56Consensus ADP and I got Parker Washington in the sixth round. You probably in your league are going to have to take Parker Washington in round
8:04five. So, treat Jameson Williams as a little bit of a bonus here. Finish as the wide receiver, 21 in overall points
8:11last year. finish as the wide receiver, 12 in points per game last year. And frankly, would have had a much better
8:17season if whatever the heck happened in week seven against Tampa Bay in week 12 against the Giants. I still do not know
8:24what happened in this week 12 game against the Giants. He had 19 points on seven targets the week before, 10 targets the next week, finished as the
8:32wide receiver for absolutely smokes to end the season. I still don't know what happened there, but what we saw was that
8:38when Dan Campbell took over the play calling, his biggest point of emphasis was using Jameson Williams as a real wide receiver. That is one of the great
8:46things. And still ended up with a 1.9 yards per route run, 11 yards per target. Still only an 18% target share.
8:53Again, that random game was zero. I still do not know what happened in that game. I think one of the biggest
8:59differences we are going to see from the Lions from last year to this year is instead of entering the season with Sam
9:07Laaporta as the featured second option in the passing game, my bet is that Jameson Williams will be the featured second option in the passing game. And I
9:16don't think he is just going to be a deep route player. But even if you don't buy that, the fact that he has
9:22back-to-back thousand yard, seven touchdown seasons and he is going where he is going when we know the individual single game ceiling because if you look
9:30a lot of the players being drafted around Jameson Williams, you're seeing that they don't have a ton of range to move up. They don't have a ton of range
9:37to move down. Jameson Williams in a season where he just kind of gets quote unquote unlucky or lucky has a wide
9:45variance in how his statistical performance can be. if he has the Dwayne B season. And if you're a little bit of
9:50a younger fantasy football player, you probably don't remember this, but Dwayne Bo had a season where he scored 16 touchdowns and almost all of them were
9:58long touchdowns. They were not red zone touchdowns. The next year, Dwayne Bow scored zero touchdowns. Jameson Williams with a 91% snap rate is in a situation
10:07where he is going to be creating his own luck. You know, the way to get lucky is to increase the surface area. And at a
10:1291% snap share on the Detroit Lions, the surface area for him to just have a great efficiency season and finish as a
10:20top 10 wide receiver is I I think massive. And I I frankly feel a little bit underexposed to Jameson Williams at
10:26this point. I've talked about Parker Washington a ton on this channel. I was not a Parker Washington believer when I started my fantasy football research
10:34this off seasonason, but the more I dug into what Liam Cohen, slot wide receiver, has done, the more bullish I got on Parker Washington. is one of the
10:41most productive roles in basically all of fantasy football. This go this, you know, Cooper Cup was in that role for Liam Cohen, which was absolutely
10:49massive. Jell Robinson was in that role in college. Chris Godwin was in that role for the Buccaneers. I feel great about that role in general. And what
10:57we've also seen is that Parker Washington actually earned that role over Travis Hunter, who was the number two pick in the NFL draft last year. The
11:04reports have been that Travis Hunter is now going to be Brian Thomas Jr.'s direct backup. started out on Parker Washington. I am all the way in on
11:12Parker Washington as the best pick in round six. For the first six rounds, our favorite wide receiver pick in every round is Justin Jefferson, Malik
11:19Neighbors, Jaylen Wadd, Luther Bird and Jameson Williams, Parker Washington.
11:24Moving on to the next range of receivers. Now we have Stefon Diggs.
11:2712.3 points per game last year, 2.55 yards per route run. He now signs with the Washington Commanders who are without their left tackle. I think when
11:35you remove the left tackle, that's going to take targets away from Terry McLuren and send them towards Diggs because Diggs is going to have the lower average
11:42depth of target. He is going to play closer to the line of scrimmage. I think it will also make the Washington
11:47Commander slightly more pass heavy than they would have been. I think it's going to be a little bit harder for them to
11:52just absolutely run the ball down the throats of their opponent. Certainly some chance that Ston Diggs is washed, but coming off a 2.5 yards per route run
12:00season, I'm going to be betting against that. I also don't think the commanders have the luxury that the Patriots had of
12:07load managing Stfan Diggs. You know, Diggs only ran about 60% of the routes for the New England Patriots last year.
12:13I'm going to bet that Diggs is going to be more like a 70 75 80% route share player this year for the Commanders. He
12:21is I mean honestly at this range of the draft effectively free. You're going to cut your seventh round pick and reddraft
12:26so often. So, we're going to go with Stefon Diggs as our favorite wide receiver pick in round seven. Josh DS just got a little bit of positive news
12:34in his direction. I mean, I guess depends how you read the word positive, but Keenan Allen just this morning, I'm recording this on August 30th, got a
12:41DUI. So maybe he is going to face a suspension at some point this year.
12:46Unclear what is going to end up happening there. However, Josh DS is a player that I've been high on basically since he came out of UNCC. He did show
12:54that he can do it in the NFL. 13.1 fantasy points per game in 2024. had a couple moments last year. Had the nice
13:02game against Arizona, the nice game against Pittsburgh. Did not show the ceiling because what happened for the Indianapolis Colts last year was they
13:09just steamrololled everyone and Daniel Jones ended up mostly targeting Michael Pitman Jr. and then we also had the Alec Pierce breakout. Michael Pitman Jr. is
13:17gone. Alec Pierce is fighting his way back from this ankle injury. Does say he's going to play in week one. I think
13:23that remains to be seen. But the per target, per route efficiency for Josh DS in his career has been very strong. Was
13:30not strong last year due to all those Philip Rivers games. The 1.53 yards per round of if you look at the Rivers
13:36games, it's so funny. DS had his highest snap share and route share in the Philip Rivers games, but basically because they
13:44were dropping back and not throwing to Josh DS, it absolutely cratered his targets and his yards per route run numbers. But I am a big talent believer
13:52in Josh DS and we'll be buying him at these prices this year even with Keenan Allen in town. After Downs, we move into
14:01the later range of the draft. So, this is going to be about rounds 9, 10, 11, things like that. Casey Conpsion was one
14:07of my favorite prospects coming out of college. He was awesome at Texas A&M and actually awesome before that at NC State. his sophomore year at NC State
14:15was kind of actually I think something that we might see this upcoming year because his quarterback suffered multiple concussions and was out for the
14:23rest of the year. They brought in a true freshman uh CJ Bailey is his name and he's like basically he's not a very
14:29great thrower and is mostly a rushing quarterback. So Conpsion was used in short areas. He got a bunch of rushes that year. Obviously, we know the
14:37Cleveland Browns quarterback system is going to be very bad this year. Whether it is Deshawn or whether we are putting our wrist up with Shadur Sanders
14:44Conpion, a very, very talented player who I think is going to end up leading the Cleveland Browns in targets. And because he is a Cleveland Brown, we're
14:52getting a big discount on a guy who is a firstround pick. If you look at the general cost of first round picks at
14:57wide receiver, look how much more expensive Lemon is than Conpsion. Look how much more expensive Carnell Tate is.
15:02And Carnell Tate's situation is not that much different from Conpsion. Obviously, Carninal Tate win a lot higher in the actual NFL draft, but in terms of how
15:10they score fantasy points, I actually would not be surprised if Conpion is fits into a much more fantasyfriendly role than Carnell Tate does. So, I love
15:19drafting Conpion. A great archetype of player and is going to dominate targets in that Cleveland Browns offense. If you only want guys on good teams, we are
15:28going to go with my guy Matthew Golden, who did only score five fantasy points per game as a rookie. The yards per
15:34route run was not great. 1.4 did have his best game of his rookie season in their postseason game, which I think is
15:41very interesting. Uh Jordan Love did miss him for what would have been two separate 90 yard touchdowns the first two games of the season against Detroit
15:48and Washington. The team jettison Dantavian Wixs. They jettison Romeo Dubs. are going to go into this upcoming season as base 11 personnel. Golden is
15:56going to run basically every single route on the outside. Everyone involved in the the Packers organization has had nothing but complimentary things to say.
16:04In fact, I I think that Golden is getting a similar style of drum beat as Parker Washington. People have just already decided that Matthew Golden
16:13sucks because people have already made their minds up about who Golden is.
16:17They're just not listening. They do not care. They don't care that Golden has been the best Packers wide receiver in joint practices or at family night. They
16:25don't care that the wide receiver coaches love Matthew Golden. They don't even care that when the lights got bright at the University of Texas at
16:31Austin, that Golden was the team's best player, period, either side of the ball in their college football playoff games.
16:38I mean, literally scored a walk-off touchdown against there. No one cares.
16:41No, you you listening, you watching this, you probably don't care. You have probably already decided that Matthew Golden socks because his yards per route
16:49run was not very good last year, but I am buying on Matthew Golden. I think that he is undervalued in fantasy drafts
16:55right now and he is one of my primary reddraft wide receiver targets because I see him as an obvious year 2 breakout
17:02and I think all of the decisions that the Green Bay Packers have made in terms of their player personnel and their
17:08expected runto pass rate. I also think the Jacobs suspension injury stuff is going to tilt them even more. Pass heavy. I really want to be buying on
17:16Matthew Golden in around nine or 10.
17:19Some of the guys I'm targeting later in drafts. Trey Tucker, look, you know exactly what you're getting with Trey Tucker. He's going to be the top wide
17:26receiver for the Las Vegas Raiders, but he's obviously going to be behind Brock Bowers. You don't need to be taking Trey
17:31Tucker in a ton of reddraft leagues, but in matchups where the Raiders might be able to hang a little bit, I mean, you
17:37know that he has a 40 ball in him. I mean, because he's he's actually done it. and he seems to have vastly
17:43outperformed Jaylen Naylor. Don't think we're going to see much of a threat from Jack Bash or Dante Thornton. And I definitely prefer Tucker. Um you you can
17:50put Tucker in that range with like Calvin Ridley and Jerry Judy just in terms of veterans who you can get to
17:57like score a few points here or there.
17:59Jacobe Lane and Jeremy Bernard are two of the rookie breakouts that I'm really buying. I liked Jacobe Lane a little bit
18:05more than my numbers did, more than the slot model did. Although actually a 65.5 grade from the FSE stuff on flockfantasy.com which if you want to
18:14get the season pass and set yourself up for fantasy football this year it is only $34. Link to that is in the
18:20description and in the comments. Code Davis will get you a little discount over there. I really like the stylistic fit between Jacobe Lane and Lamar
18:27Jackson. Like why can't Jacobe Lane just be a better version of Rashad Baitman.
18:30You know he is not banged up yet. He also has no pending legal stuff the way that Rashad Baitman has some pendal some
18:36pending legal things at this time.
18:39Jacobe Lane is an alltime contested catch guy. Like if if you if all you care about with your prospects is that
18:46boy nice and beat writer drum beat. I mean multiple beat writers have said that Jacobe Lane is basically having the best offseason of any Raven player of
18:54all time. That's not even hyperbole.
18:55That is like a direct quote of an actual Baltimore Ravens beat rider. So, I really like taking Jacobe Lane round 11,
19:02you know, kind of a wide receiver five, wide receiver six guy on your fantasy football team. Jeremy Bernard actually does not have too much of a drum beat,
19:10but he was the 49th pick in the in the draft, right? That's all I'm saying.
19:14It's really that we know that Mike McCarthy has always played base 11. We know that the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to be a heavy proe team. We also
19:22know the Pittsburgh Steelers love to throw in the red zone. I think there's certainly a chance that Michael Pitman Jr. is just completely past it at this
19:29stage of his career. You might not even have to draft Jeremy Bernard in your league, but maybe take a look and see
19:34what there is going on in terms of snap shares and routes in week one and then do an ad on Jeremy Bernard. And then I
19:41would be remiss to not mention my guy Adnai Mitchell who is clearly won the wide receiver 2 job ahead of Omar Cooper
19:46Jr. I've always been a little bit of a Gino Smith apologist and I've certainly always been an Adnai Mitchell applause.
19:53He is my absolute favorite wide receiver to take in the last round of drafts. I think he is going to be startable this
19:58year in fantasy football. I think he can easily have a target share north of 17%.
20:03Maybe he even ends up as a 20% target share guy like him and Garrett Wilson or the New York Jets answer to George
20:09Pickkins and CD Lamb. I mean obviously that is a little bit of a hyperbole, but if you look at Adnai Mitchell's profile,
20:15he has always been a separation guru. He has always popped in the fancy fanfiction metrics. He just has not been able to put it together on the field
20:24because he can't stay focused. This is actually true. Adnai Mitchell has type 1 diabetes and one of the knocks on him
20:30coming out of college was that like he just didn't manage it. Like he truly could not focus and lock in enough to
20:35manage a like debilitating potentially life-threatening illness. That's the sort of guy that you're dealing with.
20:41But if we ever get a season of Adai Mitchell being completely locked in, completely focused. I'm being so serious when I say this. I legitimately think he
20:49has the talent and the target earning ability to be a top 24 wide receiver in fantasy football.
20:55So, that is a look at my favorite wide receivers in every round in fantasy football. And I'm going to show you guys
21:01how this works in practice given that we are probably going to take Malik Neighbors in round two. We're going to start this draft with Christian
21:08McCaffrey, uh, a guy I love to take in fantasy football. And I'm going to show you how easy it is to acquire all of
21:14these guys and then have a team that can very easily win your league in fantasy football. So, beginning with you guys,
21:19your stomach is probably already turning. Uh, Christian McCaffrey, League Neighbors. So, so injury-prone, bro.
21:25Everyone is so injuryprone. I don't even think we have to take Jaylen Wadd on this one. So, we will select Jeremiah
21:30Love. There you go. An injured running back on a three and a half total win team. Oh, Davis, this team stinks.
21:37You're going to finish eighth place in your league. This is awful. This is horrible. All right. So, we are not able
21:42to secure the services of Jaylen Wana, but we certainly can get Luther Burton giving us the flip-flop start that I like to do where you take one running
21:49back, one wide receiver, then another running back, then another wide receiver. Do we have the option? All right, here you go. So, this is the
21:56decision. Jameson Williams already went off the board. We are going to take Jajarian Price here and we are going to see if we can get the room to give us
22:02Parker Washington. My guess is that in your league and probably in this mock draft on flockfantasy.com, we're not going to be able to get Pwash. We are
22:10not. We are gonna take Raandre Stevenson. This is a pick that I wish I was actually able to take back uh with
22:16Jinxy in the block league. We should have taken Raandre Stevenson over Josh Downs. We were not able to do that. Uh
22:23my next favorite pick here. There you go. Was able to get was able to get Josh Downs and Raandre Stevenson. To me, this
22:29is actually shaping up to be quite a nice team in fantasy football. We should be able to get potentially a tight end
22:35with our next pick if we want one. None of these guys are any of my favorite wide receivers. So, we are going to
22:42select uh yeah, we're actually going to go ahead and take George KD here. There was a weird quote from Kyle Shanahan
22:49yesterday that said he took a step back, but what he mean by step back was that he's taking a step back towards actually
22:54getting on the field. Um, we're going to take Casey Conpsion here. So, again, doing nothing but taking a list of my
23:01favorite wide receivers exactly where they go in a given draft. We should be able to get Matthew Golden with this next pick. And then one oh sniped on
23:09Golden by the computer. So we are going to do Patrick Mahomes as our quarterback. Could have done could have done Pertie. Could have done Mahomes.
23:16Both of those guys featured in my video on this channel that was about my league winning picks. We need another wide
23:22receiver here. We were able to get We could do Trey Tucker, but actually on this team we feel much better about our
23:27receiver. So we are going to do Jacobe Lane as our wide receiver five just as I talked about. And so now we're playing
23:34the breakout game. We just need one of downs, Conpsion, or Lane to be a true breakout. Now, we can take Jeremy
23:41Bernard. And again, we can continue playing. This is something I like to do where you just layer your wide receivers. I'm probably cutting for sure
23:49one of Conpsion, Lane, or Bernard. But guess what? That does not matter. It It straight up It straight up does not
23:56matter at this point. Uh we need to take another Actually, probably at this point, let's take a running back. We'll take Dylan Samson. Look, anytime you can
24:03take back-toback Cleveland Browns, you absolutely have to do it. And then we can scroll to the bottom here. We could take Omar Cooper Jr. Actually, Adnai
24:12Mitchell. There you go. Adnai Mitchell should be available. Um, so we got George KD at tight end. We have Mahomes at quarterback. Let's see what the Flock

24:36receiver is not the same as all my friends from flockfantasy.com. But here to me is a great way to execute a
24:42reddraft fantasy football team. I feel great about these wide receivers, Neighbors, Burden Downs. Definitely an argument to be made. In fact, if I could
