Adonai Mitchell

PositiveUsage10:40

Adonai Mitchell is expected to return this week following a finger injury that may have required surgery. Mattek highlights Mitchell's elite target volume and average depth of target, noting that he out-targeted Garrett Wilson in his last full game before the injury.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

NegativeInjury12:11

Alvin Kamara is dealing with a back injury and played only 12 snaps in his last game, primarily limited to early downs. His availability for the upcoming week remains uncertain.

Insight page

Brandin Cooks

PositiveProjection11:55

Brandon Cooks is viewed as a low-end fantasy option despite scoring a touchdown, as the 49ers' target hierarchy is dominated by Mike Evans, George Kittle, and Christian McCaffrey.

Insight page
NegativeValue20:31

Mattek expresses regret for ranking Brandin Cooks as high as 14, suggesting he is a less desirable roster hold than stashing Christian Kirk.

Insight page

Brenton Strange

NegativeUsage16:02

Despite a strong fantasy season, Brenton Strange falls below historical thresholds for startability, specifically failing to reach 75% of routes or top-two target volume on his team.

Insight page

Brevin Jordan

PositiveProjection15:10

Brevin Jordan's current production is unlikely to be sustainable due to the strange red zone play-calling and target competition from multiple wide receivers and other tight ends like Josh Cameron and Nate Borkercher.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

NegativeValue22:58

Mattek notes that Brian Robinson Jr. is a handcuff running back worth saving on rosters.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeBust22:32

Mattek advises dropping Brian Thomas Jr. after he recorded zero production and only 59% route participation last week.

Insight page

CeeDee Lamb

NegativeInjury6:50

CeeDee Lamb suffered a quad contusion on Thursday night and was unable to finish the game. Mattek considers him legitimately questionable for the upcoming week.

Insight page

Charlie Kolar

NegativeUsage14:47

Charlie Kolar is a deep-league tight end option who led the Chargers' tight end room in snaps last week.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeUsage16:46

Chase Brown has lost significant role share to Samaje Perine, including high-leverage situations, and is struggling with efficiency and ball security, evidenced by a recent fumble.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

PositiveValue20:11

Christian Kirk is a recommended stash candidate as he nears a return from IR; Mattek prefers him over other depth options like Brandin Cooks, citing his proven 30-point upside and potential for a 72% route share upon return.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeBust22:23

Mattek is dropping Courtland Sutton, noting that despite a touchdown last week, he failed to earn additional targets and does not believe in his talent.

Insight page

Demario Douglas

NegativeValue11:46

Demario Douglas is a secondary waiver option worth a minimal bid, but he is ranked behind Efton Chisholm in terms of priority.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

PositiveSleeper12:00

Dylan Sampson is a sneaky waiver wire target who is eligible to return from IR and likely to play this week. He is a former SEC Offensive Player of the Year with proven efficiency in limited NFL work and should be prioritized over backfield teammates Quintez Judkins and Raheem Sanders.

Insight page

Eli Raridon

PositiveSleeper19:37

Eli Reridon is a waiver target who posted 10 PPR points on a 50% route share and 16% target share; he would be a locked-in starter if Hunter Henry were to miss time.

Insight page

Hunter Henry

NegativeInjury19:42

Mattek notes that if Hunter Henry were to get injured, he would immediately rank Reridon as a starter for the New England Patriots.

Insight page

Isaiah Bond

NegativeSleeper16:31

Isaiah Bond is a deep-league waiver target following Casey Concepcion's injury; however, Mattek questions his actual talent level despite a 25% target share and 10 PPR points in his last outing.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveValue3:30

Jadarrian Price is a high-priority waiver target for playoff-bound teams. His return is expected to consolidate the backfield, likely pushing out Emanuel Wilson and George Holani.

Insight page

Jalen Reagor

NegativeUsage18:25

Jalen Reagor is a low-end waiver pickup who may see 65-70% of routes in the upcoming game against the Chargers, with Mattek giving him a slight lean over Cyrus Allen due to his tenure with the team.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveValue3:57

Jordan Mason is a recommended waiver wire target for teams needing running back depth, with a confirmed return expected in Week 7 following the Vikings' bye week.

Insight page

Justin Watson

NegativeDepth Chart18:58

Justin Watson was signed to the practice squad and could potentially jump ahead of Jalen Reagor and Cyrus Allen in the depth chart given his history with the team.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeRole7:58

Kendre Miller is a potential low-end starter if Alvin Kamara misses time, though his outlook is clouded by a lack of clarity regarding Kamara's injury status. Mattek describes Miller as a 'fine rusher' but notes the Saints' backfield usage is currently skewed by pass-protection needs.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

NegativeUsage8:11

Kendrick Bourne is viewed as a low-end flex option. Despite a 16% target share and 12 PPR points, he only ran routes on 61% of plays and is not considered an every-down player. Mattek advises against overreacting to his recent performance.

Insight page

Kenyan Drake

NegativeInjury19:56

Kenyan Drake is dealing with a concussion, which opens up a potential one-week streaming opportunity for Mason Taylor.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeProjection8:55

Marvin Harrison Jr. is not expected to have a significant fantasy role on the Houston Texans; historical comparisons for in-season traded receivers suggest low upside.

Insight page

Mason Taylor

PositiveUsage19:55

Mason Taylor is a one-week fill-in option at tight end who reached a 63% route share and is expected to see an 82% route share if Kenyan Drake remains sidelined due to a concussion.

Insight page

Pat Freiermuth

PositiveProjection9:58

Pat Freiermuth continues to be a beneficiary of the Steelers' passing volume and offensive scheme. With a 79% route share and 21% target share, Mattek views him as a solid low-end TE1 or high-end TE2 in fantasy football.

Insight page

Quez Watkins

PositiveSleeper6:41

Quez Watkins is a high-upside waiver target if CeeDee Lamb misses time due to his quad contusion. Mattek notes that Watkins has a proven target share sample when Lamb or George Pickens are off the field, and if Lamb is confirmed out, Watkins becomes a viable starting receiver in fantasy lineups.

Insight page

Raheim Sanders

NegativeInjury12:07

Raheem Sanders suffered a hip injury during the game against the Jets, making his status for the upcoming week unclear.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

NegativeBust0:06

Roman Wilson is considered a drop candidate. He recorded zero targets in the first half before suffering a finger dislocation and is viewed as inferior to Jeremy Bernard.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeSleeper17:38

Roschon Johnson is a deep-league stash who saw increased usage (40% snap share) while Khalil Mulinga was out; he remains the clear RB2 behind D'Onta Foreman.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

PositiveUsage16:46

Samaje Perine is a viable waiver target as he has overtaken Chase Brown in high-leverage snaps, reaching 51% of total snaps and offering a dependable floor due to Joe Burrow's tendency to target running backs.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveValue9:06

Terrance Ferguson is a recommended stash for 5-0 teams or those needing tight end help. Mattek expects him to 'absolutely smash' upon his return from injury, as he holds a high-value role in the Rams' offense.

Insight page

Tre Harris

NegativeInjury22:14

Trey Harris is a drop candidate due to a hamstring injury.

Insight page

Tyler Higbee

PositiveRole8:25

Tyler Higbee is a top-15 tight end option while Terrance Ferguson is sidelined. Higbee occupies the same specific role as Ferguson, evidenced by a 64% route share and 11% target share on Monday night. Mattek notes this role is distinct from the one played by Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveValue2:24

Zach Charbonnet is a high-priority waiver target nearing S-tier status. While he may miss the upcoming Thursday game, he is expected to be active shortly thereafter and should operate in a two-man backfield with George Holani, likely serving as a low-end RB2.

0:00Well, if you guys have been watching the MaddAddicts Football Channel, you probably already have Jeremy Bernard on your fantasy football rosters. I advise
0:06you guys to pick up Jeremy last week instead of Roman Wilson. Jeremy absolutely smashed 94% route share, 29% target share. Roman Wilson had zero
0:15targets in the first half before he dislocated his finger. Jeremy Bernard is a much better player than Roman Wilson.
0:20That is why I told you guys to pick Jeremy Bernard up. Jeremy Bernard is a clear S-tier pick up for me. The
0:27Pittsburgh Steelers have not run the ball inside line yet. Uh I mean, it's a completely insane statistic. They are second in the
0:34NFL in pass rate over expectation. Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy come into every game saying, "How many times can we possibly throw the ball?" And then
0:41they end up throwing the ball even more than that. Jeremy Bernard was the 49th overall pick in the NFL draft. I quite
0:48liked him as a prospect. It was a big reason why I wanted Jeremy Bernard instead of Roman Wilson off the waiver
0:53wire. I would encourage you guys, if you did not already add Jeremy Bernard with Michael Pittman Jr. on the IR, he is an
0:59S-tier add for me this week. And really, he is the only S-tier add I think you can spend 20, 25% of your waiver wire
1:07budget remaining on him assuming you need wide receiver help. If you have very strong wide receivers, I mean, this should be very self-evident, but hey
1:14man, if you already have three really good receivers, you know, if you have Puka Nacua and Parker Washington and Michael Wilson, you probably don't need
1:20to spend as much on Jeremy Bernard, but I do think he can be a top 25-ish wide receiver for, you know, kind of the
1:27foreseeable future with how much volume is there for the Steelers. The other S-tier add is Woody Marks. I I know you
1:32guys play in serious fantasy football leagues, but I just saw him mentioned in quite a few other fantasy football videos, so I didn't want you guys to
1:39think that I didn't think Woody Marks was a pick up. But those are the only S-tier guys for me this week. Zach
1:44Charbonnet, I think is close to an S-tier. This is my concern with Zach Charbonnet. Emanuel Wilson and George Kittle were the two worst running backs
1:52in the NFL last week. They were the literal bottom two running backs in EPA per play amongst running backs last week. They were so, so bad. They win
2:01that game against the 49ers if any other running back is playing for them. So, Charbonnet, I don't think he's going to
2:07play this Thursday, but I do think he will be active for the game after that.
2:10I would also like to issue another reminder that if Jadarrian Price got dropped in your league, given just how bad those two guys were, I actually
2:17think Jadarrian Price's absence makes the heart grow fonder for the Seattle coaches. I don't think we'll see Emanuel Wilson or George Holani once Jadarrian
2:25Price is back. I think it'll be a two-man backfield with Sharbs and Holani, and I think both of them will kind of be low-end running back twos.
2:31So, if you have a good roster right now, like if you're set to make the playoffs, I would say Charbonnet and Price are
2:37very, very high priority for you and your fantasy football team. Jordan Mason, just a reminder that after the Vikings bye week, we should get him
2:45back. The coaches said that he is going to be back after the Vikings bye week there. So, his expected return is week
2:50seven. In leagues that have short benches, in leagues where you know, you don't have IR slots, I would assume that Jordan Mason has been dropped in a good
2:58chunk of those. So, just a reminder that if you have a good team that need a little bit of running back help, I would
3:02be picking up Jordan Mason. I would pick up both of those guys ahead of Damien Pierce, who might get the start for the
3:07Eagles this week against the Carolina Panthers, or Saquon Barkley might be back, and you might not get Damien Pierce. Damien Pierce averaged 1.7 yards
3:15per carry after Will Shipley injured his foot and left the game. He played 78% of the snaps, 81% of the long down and
3:21distance. Carson Steel did not sub into this game at all. If Barkley does not play against the Panthers, Jaden Blue is
3:27going to be active.
3:29I mean, Jaden Blue's a better running back than Damien Pierce. I don't really think that matters. It's very clear. NFL coaches just do not like
3:37Jaden Blue. I don't really know why. I mean, I assume he's just got to be interpersonally so unpleasant. But if you if you're just absolutely desperate
3:44for some running back points, I mean, you could spend like, I don't know, 8% of your FAB or whatever on Damien
3:50Pierce. But he played so bad, it's hard for me to imagine him having like a larger role this upcoming week. Well, I
3:56mean, his role actually couldn't get any better, but it really what I guess it could be is it could be Saquon Barkley
4:01literally playing like 95% of the snaps for the Philadelphia Eagles. Quez Watkins, this one is very interesting because a big reason why people drafted
4:10Quez Watkins was because of the continued value were Pickens or Lamb to be injured. Lamb played on Thursday night, had a quad contusion, was not
4:18able to finish the game. I would say as of right now this quad bruise means that he is injured, and I would call him like
4:25legitimately questionable to play this upcoming week. Obviously, any game that Lamb does not play, Quez Watkins ranks as basically starting receiver in
4:32fantasy. We've seen enough of a sample of what Quez Watkins target share can be when one of Lamb or Pickens is off the
4:38field. And if it was confirmed, like I'm recording this at 9:38 Central Time on Tuesday morning, if it's 100% confirmed Lamb is not playing this week, and you
4:47need a win in fantasy right now, I actually think it's fine to move Quez Watkins up into the S tier cuz I'm going
4:52to rank him as a starting receiver this upcoming week. But similar to Mike Gesicki or Dante Myers from last week, you might find yourself rug pulled
5:00here. Like very easy for Lamb to just go ahead and play and for the rug to be pulled out from underneath you. Tyler
5:05Higbee, I mean, he is just Terrance Ferguson. He's not as good as Terrance Ferguson, but he plays that exact same role. 64% route share on Monday night,
5:1311% target share, 13.3 fantasy points.
5:16Obviously, when Terrance Ferguson returns, he is going to have this role, and you're just going to immediately drop Tyler Higbee. But Ferguson is not
5:22eligible to return until next week. So, for as long as T. Ferg is out, I mean, we saw Colby Parkinson return to the
5:29lineup, it doesn't matter. Colby Parkinson effectively plays a different position. Like the Higbee-Ferguson role is distinct from the Davis-Allen-Colby-Parkinson role in the Rams offense. And so again,
5:40any game that T. Ferg is out, Tyler Higbee is a top 15 tight end in fantasy football just given how he is used and
5:46how the tight end is used. And I guess a reminder that if you have like a 5-0 team right now and you're a little bit
5:51uncertain at tight end, I mean, you should be stashing Terrance Ferguson cuz Ferguson is going to absolutely smash when he gets back from his injury. Then
5:58we've got Pat Freiermuth who just continues to be a beneficiary of all the weirdness for the Pittsburgh Steelers and also just a huge beneficiary of how
6:05often they pass. 21.5 PPR points with two touchdowns, 79% route share, 21% target share. Both of his touchdowns came with him actually being in the end
6:15zone. And it's so funny, I've been harping on how bad this DK Metcalf fit is with Aaron Rodgers. Part of the
6:21reason it's so bad is because of the existence of Pat Freiermuth. Freiermuth is just I I guess Freiermuth just kind of has one of those mind melt style
6:28connections with Aaron Rodgers that we think is so important in fantasy football, but I I continue to think that Freiermuth is a pretty good like a
6:34low-end tight end one, high-end tight end two guy in fantasy. And then Adonai Mitchell, just another injury reminder there. He has continued to miss time
6:43with his finger injury. I saw speculated on Twitter from my guy Jeff Mueller that he basically secretly had surgery on this broken finger and they just didn't
6:52It was just not reported that he had surgery. But if he did have surgery, he should be back this week. Aaron Glenn
6:57alluded this in his postgame press conference against the Browns. He He said he expected some of the guys who've been out to be back soon, which
7:04basically means Breese Hall and Adonai Mitchell. Both of those guys would be expected to play this week. And Adonai Mitchell his last game before getting injured in
7:12practice injuring his finger out-targeted Garrett Wilson. I I think we've built up all the Adonai Mitchell stuff like he's just had such a weird
7:20career, but when he is on the field, I there's just there's absolutely no debating it. He is an insane target volume earner at good average depth of
7:28target. So those are the A-tier adds.
7:30Moving to the B-tier, we begin with Kendre Miller. Alvin Kamara played only 12 snaps in this last game, also came into the game with a back injury. I
7:37believe he only played on two early downs in the entire game. C.J. Donaldson actually played the most snaps of any Saints back in the Vikings game, but the
7:45only reason he did that is because he's a big pass protector. The Saints lost their left tackle, so they just have to
7:50play pass protector. Also, Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant are bad blockers, so Donaldson is preferred in obvious passing situations. But were Kendre, you
7:58know, to get a couple starts because Kamara is out, I do think he would be, you know, kind of a low-end starter. I
8:03mean, Kendre is like basically a fine rusher. The thing is we just don't have any clarity right now on Tuesday for how
8:09long Alvin Kamara is going to be out.
8:11Kendrick Bourne is the It's hard for me to tell. He's not really a beneficiary of Marvin Harrison Jr. being out. He ran
8:18the third most routes on the team. He was not viewed as like an every-down player in this game, and they played the
8:23Los Angeles Rams this week. Only a 61% route share, but a 16% target share, 12 PPR points for him. Just like a very,
8:30very low-end flex wide receiver. You You can do worse than having to start Kendrick Bourne. I don't want you guys to go crazy on Kendrick Bourne after the
8:38Marvin Harrison Jr. trade. Frankly, the Marvin Harrison Jr. trade really does nothing for Kendrick Bourne. 185 of Bourne's 187 routes Marvin Harrison
8:46Jr. was on the field for. So, it doesn't really change anything. The The big change actually that the Cardinals did was they played more 12 and 13 personnel
8:55with no Marvin Harrison Jr., which leads us to the aforementioned Marvin Harrison Jr. I assume he got dropped in a good
9:01amount of your leagues, so I just wanted to give you guys a little bit of information. I personally don't really think Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:07is going to have much of a role on on the Houston Texans. Here are some of the closest comparisons for first-round wide
9:13receivers traded in season. Amari Cooper in 2018 was traded from Oakland to Dallas. That was a huge smash. He went from 9 and 1/2 to 17.6 PPR points per
9:22game. Kadarius Toney was traded from the New York Giants in 2022. 2.2 points per game to 7.9 points per game, but was
9:30never a full-time player for the Kansas City Chiefs. All the way back in 2009, Braylon Edwards was traded. 6 points per
9:37game in four games before 9.3 points per game in the remaining 12 games. Percy Harvin in 2014, 10 points, 10 points,
9:45completely, you know, basically totally useless. Kelvin Benjamin was traded 11 points per game before 7.3 points per game after. And then all the way back in
9:542008, Roy Williams, 9.2 points per game and then 4.6 per games. Some of the closest comparable players to Marvin Harrison Jr. at this stage of his
10:03career, guys like Quinton Johnston, Rome Odunze, they're they're honestly basically lapping each other. Dante Stallworth, Jahan Dotson, like anytime these guys start to show up in your
10:13career comparables, it's really really not ideal. I I have low expectations. I mean, C.J. Stroud and Marvin Harrison Jr. were collegiate teammates. I I think
10:22that probably is why the team traded for Marvin Harrison Jr. Also, part of the reason why the trade was delayed was
10:28they waited to see if they won that game cuz if they were 0 and 5, I don't think they trade the second-round pick.
10:34Why they traded the second-round pick was because this is cost-controlled labor, basically. I I mean, it sounds so boring, but that is why.
10:42Wide receivers are incredibly expensive in free agency. They're also expensive to acquire. And because Marvin Harrison Jr. has basically a year and a half left
10:49and 5 years or or 3 years, well, 2 and 1/2 years if they pick up his fifth-round option, that is a lot of
10:56like relatively cheap wide receiver snaps. You you guys would be really surprised how much wide receivers cost in free agency, how much like a wide
11:02receiver snap costs in free agency. I I don't think it's a good trade. I don't think it's a terrible trade, but I'm not
11:08that excited about Marvin Harrison Jr.
11:10in fantasy football.
11:11I'm a little bit more excited about Efton Chisholm the third, 10 PPR points last week, 74% route share. A.J. Brown going to miss at least one more week.
11:19Mack Hollins going to miss at least three more weeks. It is Efton Chisholm playing on the outside, not Kyle Williams, not Demario Douglas. And of
11:26the of Chisholm, Douglas, and Kyle Williams, Chisholm is the one that I prefer. If you wanted to pick up the Mario Douglas for a buck, I wouldn't
11:34hate it. Then we get to Brandon Cooks who scored the touchdown. He is the beneficiary of all the crazy substation injuries for the 49ers. Again, got up to
11:42a 38% route share in this game. It's basically his first week on the team.
11:47I think the deal with the 49ers is the ball is going to Evans, Kittle, and McCaffrey on every snap. I'm not excited
11:53about Cowling. I'm not excited about Watkins. I'm not excited about any of these guys. I saw other waiver wire videos discuss Brandon Cooks. I think
12:00he's very low end. I'm not that excited about this one. Dylan Sampson is a very interesting one. So, Quintez Judkins was
12:07seen after the Browns game against the Jets on Sunday leaving with a walking boot. Raheem Sanders also injured his hip in that game. Unclear if he is going
12:16to be able to play this upcoming week.
12:17And Dylan Sampson is now eligible to come off the designated for return IR.
12:22Were Quintez Judkins to miss in the backfield would be Dylan Sampson and JaMycal Hasty.
12:28I would put or even if Sanders is active, I would still put Sampson at the top of my hierarchy there. I think he I
12:34mean he's a former SEC Offensive Player of the Year. He was a very good collegiate prospect. He's actually been efficient in the NFL in limited work.
12:41It's just the fact that he shares the backfield with Quintez Judkins. But Sampson I think is a very sneaky one. I
12:46would guess your league mates are not very hip to that and they probably don't know that he is eligible to return. And
12:52in fact, I saw reports suggesting that he is actually even likely to return this week for the Cleveland Browns. So, I think he is a very very interesting
12:59one. And you could sneak him through for very few dollars on the waiver wire I think. I think most of your league
13:04mates, I mean your league mates don't watch the Matics Fantasy Football Channel. So, they're not as good at fantasy football as you are.
13:09Same deal with JaMycal Hasty. He is eligible to return off of the designated for return IR. We have seen just brutal
13:17backfield play. Look, I know I know J.K.
13:19Dobbins scored a touchdown this last week. He's he is so bad, man. Dobbins is bad. Harvey is not trusted in the run
13:26game at all. Tyler Badie, I mean send Tyler Badie to zero. Coleman, the reason why I like picking him up and the reason
13:32why I like stashing him is he I think of the remaining Broncos running backs is the only one that can do every job. He
13:38is the only one who can be a goal line back. He's the only one who can play passing downs and on the early downs.
13:44Like I think he's the only one who can do those jobs. He was obviously trending up when he, you know, injured his ankle.
13:50I mean he was the cover of he was the cover of the waiver wire video the week after JK Dobbins got injured. If JK
13:56Dobbins makes it through the entire season, I mean you got to give him a huge shout out. But Coleman I think is a
14:01super interesting stash. Again, I would be relatively in on him. Cam'Ron Vidal had the great touchdown run. I mean really if you have not seen this Cam'Ron
14:09Vidal touchdown run it was completely incredible. He actually played the most snaps of any Chargers running back this last week 12.6 PPR points 41% of the
14:17snaps 75% of the long down and distance.
14:20I mean I is Zamir White going to be on the drop list? Like my god, this guy's having a horrible everyone on the
14:25Chargers is having a horrible season.
14:27But frankly, this is a little bit brutal for me because I've been such a Keaontay Ingram guy and Vidal has just been more
14:34effective than him on the ground.
14:35Keaontay Ingram has still been the better pass catcher than Vidal. But I I do think Vidal is a relatively decent low end streamer. I I would assume
14:43that we are going to start seeing Chargers players shut down for the year.
14:47Like Charlie Kolar just came back which by the way I guess if you need a really deep tight end, Charlie Kolar led the
14:52Chargers tight end room in snaps this last week. But I would assume we're going to start seeing fake IR stints made up for guys for an 0-5 team. I
14:59would assume coaches are going to start getting fired for the Chargers soon. And that was a scenario where we saw Vidal
15:04play a ton last year when when the season started to go sideways for the Chargers. And then Brevin Jordan. I've gotten a couple
15:11comments about Brevin Jordan. Like hey, why don't you talk about Brevin Jordan?
15:14Why don't you why don't you rank Brevin Jordan a little bit higher in your leagues? Frankly, it's to me it's just
15:20about one the strangeness of their red zone play calling. Like I think if Liam Cohen just turned the play calling over
15:27to someone else and just handed the ball off in the I formation to Byishal Tuitan, their red zone offense would be
15:32a lot better. But we've seen Josh Cameron be featured in the red zone.
15:36We've seen Bryant Thomas Jr. be featured in the red zone. It Kobe Myers is still out there. Like it's just a very strange
15:42offense, no pun intended. And with all these wide receivers on the field who can earn targets and that's even before accounting for Josh Cameron mucking
15:50things up and Nate Borkercher out there, it's hard for me to believe that he is going to sustain this production.
15:55Particularly the Borkercher thing actually makes it a little bit more strange. And they play a fullback as well, they play Quinton Morris. I could
16:02very easily be wrong about this. Strange is having a very good fantasy football season. And he just he's kind of below
16:09all the thresholds that I historically look at. He's not at 75% of routes for the year. He is not top two on his team
16:16in projected target volume in a given week. So when you have those two things, then it becomes very hard for me to say,
16:22"Yeah, you should definitely start this guy in fantasy." But the results have been very good for him. So maybe I'm the
16:26stupid one and the Brandon Strange guys are the smart ones. Real quick here, the C and D tier, Isaiah Bond is the
16:33beneficiary of Casey Concepcion going out. This would be deep leagues only. He basically looked like he was point shaving. Two of the worst drops you were
16:40ever going to see. He was an interesting prospect coming out of Texas. Did get 10 PPR points in the 25% target share. But
16:46I am not certain that Isaiah Bond is very good. Samaje Perine, this one is more interesting because Chase Brown has been so bad. Got up to 51% of the snaps.
16:56Chase Brown had a fumble in this last game. Chase Brown basically got benched in the second half for Samaje Perine in
17:02the high leverage spots. So Perine, as we are heading into bye weeks, as guys are going to start getting injured, you
17:08can definitely do worse in a given week than just being like, "Man, I don't have any running backs. One of my guys is on
17:14bye. My other starting running back is injured.
17:17I think I'm going to start Samaje Perine cuz you know he has a floor. You know his floor is like four or five points in
17:23a given week because he plays a long down and distance stuff and Burrow likes to throw to running backs. But, I mean,
17:28he is more steady and dependable at this stage of his career than Chase Brown.
17:33The reason why you play Chase Brown is the potential splash plays, but he's not been doing very much splashing this year
17:38in fantasy football. Roschon Johnson was the beneficiary of my guy Khalil Mulinga missing with the turf toe. Ended up playing a lot in the second half. 40% of
17:48the snaps, 40% of the long down and distance. Caught five passes in that game. That's what Roschon does. I mean, again, very very deep leagues, you can
17:56pick up Roschon Johnson. You can keep him on the end of your bench.
17:59He's now the running back two. Were something to happen to D'Onta Foreman, I mean, Roschon Johnson would start the game. I don't think he would be very
18:06effective, but the Bears are getting Caleb Williams back this week, which will be nice for them. Just wanted to mention Jaden Blue. If Barkley misses
18:14another week or Barkley gets injured again, Jaden Blue would then be the handcuff running back. And frankly, I mean, he look, he is like I've said, he
18:21is a better running back than Damien Pierce. I don't think that means he's going to play, but he is a better
18:25running back than Damien Pierce. Wanted to also mention Jalen Reagor and Cyrus Allen. Does look like Rashid Shaheed is going to play in week six, but Tyquan
18:34Thornton is still out for the year. I don't think we have an answer for who is going to play Jalen Reagor and Cyrus
18:38Allen. The way that it worked in the game that Tyquan Thornton got injured in was they just shifted to playing 12
18:44personnel and playing Noah Gray. But, one of these guys, Reagor or Allen, is going to get about 65-70% of the routes
18:50in this upcoming game against the Chargers. I don't know who it's going to be. My slight slight slight lean would be Jalen Reagor just because he's been
18:58on the team for longer. The team did also sign Justin Watson to their practice squad. He's coming back from injury. You know, it would be very
19:05Kansas City Chiefs to just put Justin Watson immediately ahead of these two guys. But, again, very low-end waiver wire pickups there. Cyrus Allen did
19:13generate a ton of buzz in the offseason, but has not converted that into playing time at all. The D-tier, Pierre Strong,
19:19was in a 50/50 time share, straight up 50/50 time share when the game was competitive with Marshaun Lloyd. Really only played on the passing downs and is
19:27not a very good player.
19:29But, hey. Like, I look at some of my benches and I'm like, I don't know, man.
19:3250/50 time share on the Green Bay Packers is probably better than whatever I've got.
19:37Eli Reridon scored 10 PPR points on 50% of the routes and a 16% target share.
19:42His playing time is going to continue to tick up, particularly with all the wide receiver injuries. And were Hunter Henry to get injured, I'm for sure ranking
19:50Reridon as a starter in that week. He He has looked phenomenal for the New England Patriots. Mason Taylor got up to
19:56a 63% route share. Kenyan Drake got concussed. Taylor was ahead of him anyway. If you needed a one-week fill-in at tight end with Kenyan Drake
20:05concussed, if if Drake doesn't play this next week, you are probably going to get like an 82% route share for Mason
20:11Taylor, so you could have definitely started worse players than that. And then Christian Kirk is eligible to come off the IR at any given point for the
20:18San Francisco 49ers. Kirk had a 30 fantasy point game in the postseason for the Texans last year, so he does still
20:25have it. I mean, maybe just a little bit. I I would You know what? Honestly, I I'm a coward for putting Brandon Cooks
20:32up here at 14. I would rather stash Christian Kirk for a week and see him play cuz if Kirk comes back and runs 72%
20:38of the routes, he is going to be a fantasy football relevant player. The streaming defenses for this week, the Kansas City Chiefs against the Chargers.
20:46They had their bye week last week, so they did get dropped in a fair few amount of leagues. I mean, they would be
20:51the number one Really, honestly, this is so funny how fantasy football works. The Chiefs would be the number one out of the week
20:57outside of Jeremy Bernard. They are going to score like a minimum of nine points against the Chargers, and they have a ceiling to score like 20 here
21:04against the Chargers. The Indianapolis Colts get to play the Tennessee Titans.
21:08Wouldn't think the Colts are going to be owned in too many competitive leagues right now because it was not a I mean I
21:12guess it was a five match up for them against the Steelers, but I like the Colts as a streamer. I love the Bills as
21:18a streamer. They should be available in loads of leagues coming off that high total game against the Rams. They are at
21:23the Raiders playing I mean as we saw last week playing with a lead against Kirk Cousins at this stage of his career very very
21:31opportunistic very very profitable spot for the Buffalo Bills. the New York Giants gets to play against Taylor Shuck and the New Orleans Saints. The New
21:39Orleans Saints offense can put you I mean really really can get put in a hole very quickly. And even if Shuck ends up
21:45having a good fantasy game, he probably gave up a bunch of fantasy points in the first half. Streaming kickers Harrison Butker just check and make sure he did
21:52not get dropped in your league. Cairo Santos in the dome 23 and a half point implied team total with Caleb Williams
21:58coming back for the Bears. He is basically I mean basically Cairo is a great streaming kicker any given week.
22:03And then Ryan Fitzgerald only a 20 point implied total, but I think the Carolina Panthers probably beat the Philadelphia Eagles in this game.
22:11So I feel good about adding him. Our drop list Will Shipley you can drop Roman Wilson you can drop Caleb Johnson
22:16you can drop Trey Harris with a hamstring injury. He is a drop Taylor Shuck a drop at the quarterback position. I just think we have seen how
22:23wide the variation can get at quarterback and that's not what you're chasing a quarterback you would like to have a floor. Courtland Sutton despite
22:31scoring the touchdown last week did not earn any more targets. I don't think he's any good.
22:36You guys can feel free to disagree, but I'm dropping Courtland Sutton. Dante Myers after seeing the two guys get healthy. Brian Thomas Jr. Zero ball this
22:43last week 59% route participation. Sad to say it, but you can drop Brian Thomas Jr. Jaylen Wright an obvious drop.
22:50Michael Pittman Jr. an obvious drop.
22:52Casey Concepcion I guess we can wait to get more news about this concussion injury, but I think if you like I guess
22:58one thing I want to know before we get out of here. I want you guys to bias yourself towards action. Unless you are
23:04five and oh, you know, if you're four and one, if you're three and two, if you're two and three, it's nice to save
23:10Kasey Canseco. It's nice to save Brian Robinson Jr. It's nice to save Emma Johnson, some of these handcuff running backs. But by and large, what I want you
23:19guys to do is bias yourselves towards adding points to your roster in a given week. The most important thing that you
23:25can do is get points on your roster and keep points off your opponent's roster.
23:30So if sometimes you lose a guy who's starting running back gets injured, you know, that is what it is and that is
23:36going to happen. That is the cost of doing business in fantasy football. But when you are making decisions about your roster, what I want you to think is does
23:44it help me win this week? If so, it is probably the correct move because the most important thing in fantasy football
23:51is generating a weekly high ceiling and a weekly high floor for our fantasy football lineups. It's very nice and good to think about the future in
23:58fantasy football. But the future is unknowable. The future is uncontrollable. The thing that we can control are the decisions that we make
24:05in fantasy football this week. And then our final droplist player, Kalif Raymond, 3.4 points last week. I think we can go ahead and end the Kalif
24:13Raymond experience. Make sure to like the video. Make sure to subscribe to the Mattek Fantasy Football channel. And if you want to guarantee that I answer one
