A.J. Brown

PositiveRole39:03

With the Eagles adding AJ Brown and Romeo Doubs, Hartitz expresses optimism about the offense's depth and potential. He notes that AJ Brown's hamstring injury 'really slowed him down' more than people credited early last season, and now healthy, he joins an already strong Eagles offense that is 'deep even without booty' (Jalen Hurts). The offense is likely to 'throw the ball around a lot.'

Insight page

Andre Ellington

PositiveValue16:42

In a trade comparison between Jacobs/Tate and Wilson/Mandre, Ian Hartitz prefers the Wilson/Mandre side over Jacobs, citing that Jacobs cannot be stashed on IR which is a roster management disadvantage.

Insight page

Ashton Jeanty

NegativeRole8:51

Ian Hartitz notes that Ashton Jeanty is presumably fine for week one despite being a player the fantasy community actively and rightfully worried about for injuries in August. Hartitz suggests Jeanty can be played in fantasy and is one of the few Raiders players worth starting following Brock Bowers' injury.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

NegativeInjury0:08

Underwent meniscus trim surgery on Tuesday; expected to miss 1–2 games but timeline could extend to 3–6 weeks. Out for Week 1 vs. Dolphins and likely Week 2 vs. Chargers. Even upon return, likely to be less than 100% and not dominating in an offense expected to score among the fewest points in the league; Raiders rushed back similar injuries last year with poor results. Ian Hartitz expressed deep frustration, calling it 'the worst day of our collective lives' and noting the injury came out of nowhere. Hartitz particularly lamented that Bowers played through a knee injury last year that slowed him down, and this pre-season injury eliminates the opportunity to evaluate his health in-game. Was being drafted around round 4–5 before the injury; Hartitz advises lowballing Bowers owners to acquire him for minimal value, as he should be able to go on IR soon.

Insight page

Caleb Douglas

NegativeProjection15:00

Ian Hartitz prefers Chris Bell over Caleb Douglas in week one. While Douglas had an impressive catching-the-sloth fade in preseason, Hartitz is more bullish on Bell's upside and role.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveValue8:17

Ian Hartitz prefers Chris Bell over the Raiders' newly elevated receivers following Brock Bowers' injury. Hartitz is very high on Bell and prefers him over Caleb Douglas in week one; the coach confirmed there will be no pitch count for Bell. Hartitz has liked Bell since before the draft and believes if Bell had gone at the end of round one, it wouldn't have been a bad pick for an NFL team.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeRole30:47

Ian Hartitz notes Chris Godwin looked iffy coming back from injury last year. He presents Godwin as a conditional option if Mecole Hardman is unavailable, but expresses hesitation about his current form and role clarity.

Insight page

Cole Kmet

NegativeRole6:09

Ian Hartitz notes that Cole Kmet is another tight end where the full-time role is uncertain following Brock Bowers' injury and the Raiders' offensive personnel changes. Receives a slight boost in value following Bowers' injury; Hartitz notes Kmet benefits from the tight end landscape shift caused by Bowers being sidelined. Hartitz prefers Kmet over Mark Andrews as the tight end to stream while Bowers heals; cites Andrews' poor counting stats last season and prefers to see Andrews prove he can still perform at an elite level before trusting him.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeValue12:00

Colston Loveland has been going around round 4-5 in drafts. Ian Hartitz mentions Loveland's ADP in the context of tight end alternatives post-Bowers injury, though provides no specific take on his value or outlook.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveMatchup31:40

Ian Hartitz recommends DJ Moore over Chris Godwin and QJ Moore in a three-way receiver comparison, despite acknowledging a tough matchup; cites eight targets as supporting evidence for the pick; positions DJ Moore as the preferred option in the same tier.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveRole40:43

With Brock Bowers injured, Darren Waller becomes a beneficiary in the Raiders offense. Hartitz rates him as a wide receiver 4 for the week, noting that while Waller himself is 'good,' the real play is the opportunity created by forced volume. Hartitz points to precedent in the 49ers offense (DeMarcus Robinson, Kendrick Bourne, Richie James) where lesser players elevated into big roles produced huge games, and Waller was force-fed targets in preseason action without key weapons like Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle, or Mike Evans.

Insight page

Fernando Mendoza

NegativeProjection9:30

Ian Hartitz has been adamant that Kirk Cousins should not be started until the line reaches 5.5 points before considering Fernando Mendoza as a starter. Brock Bowers' injury does not change this calculus, as the weakened Raiders offense makes neither quarterback particularly attractive.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeInjury5:24

Ranked at TE16, well below Michael Mayer in the tight end hierarchy. Ian Hartitz expresses caution about 32-year-old George Kittle coming off an Achilles tear that occurred in January of this calendar year. He wants to see if Kittle can still perform at his elite level, noting that while Kittle and Tucker Craft are 'yak monsters' with insane yards-after-catch ability, Kittle's value depends on whether he's the same beast after the injury and snap count concerns. Hartitz wants to see visual evidence of a full role recovery from the Achilles injury before confidence increases.

Insight page

Ian Thomas

NegativeRole6:15

Ian Hartitz notes that Ian Thomas is the only other tight end on the Raiders roster besides Jack Bess following Brock Bowers' injury. Hartitz suggests that Jack Bess might win the battle for playing time over Ian Thomas, making Bess a potential add in very deep leagues.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

NegativeMatchup5:09

Ranked above Michael Mayer in tight end hierarchy but faces a tough matchup against the Cowboys defense.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveRole43:26

JK Dobbins is established as the clear lead running back for his team, with Hartitz noting 'JK Dobbins is clearly the lead running back. They paid him to be so. He was last year.' This confirms his workhorse status and primary role in the backfield.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

NegativeRole43:26

Ian Hartitz views Jonah Coleman as a low-priority handcuff in the Saints backfield. JK Dobbins is the clear lead running back (paid to be so), R.J. Harvey handles pass-down work, and Coleman would only take carries if Dobbins gets injured. Even then, Hartitz doesn't see enough standalone value to justify the handcuff, as Coleman is the third most used piece of a three-back committee that hasn't been productive under Sean Payton. While Hartitz acknowledges 'Jonah Coleman's good, man,' he declines to drop Woody Marks for Coleman.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeProjection9:30

Ian Hartitz states that Brock Bowers' injury will not help his plan to keep Kirk Cousins benched in favor of Fernando Mendoza. Hartitz has been adamant that Cousins should not be started until the line reaches 5.5 points before considering Mendoza. With Bowers out, the Raiders' offense is weakened, making Cousins a less attractive start. Hartitz projects the Raiders to go 1-3 in their first four weeks (losses to Dolphins, Chargers, Saints, and Chiefs) before potentially starting Cousins in week five against New England.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

NegativeProjection21:08

Ian Hartitz ranks Kyler Murray as QB14, expressing concern about his 2024 performance despite the Vikings' upgraded weapons (Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison) and new offensive coordinator Kevin O'Connell. The concern stems from last year's poor offensive output; JJ McCarthy, 'who we all agree was horrible,' had better yards-per-play numbers than Kyler. Hartitz wants to see Kyler perform in the new system before committing confidence.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveMatchup46:47

Ian Hartitz prefers Luther Burden over Rasheed Rice if Adonai Mitchell is ruled out and Burden is fully healthy with no questionable tag. Hartitz cites confidence in the Cardinals offense and notes that targets shouldn't be too different if Mitchell is out, despite the tough matchup against the Broncos and Pat Surtain's elite coverage ability.

Insight page

Mark Andrews

NegativeProjection5:24

Recovering from Achilles injury; age is a concern heading into 2026. Every counting stat that matters for fantasy football sucked last season; however, underlying advanced metrics show promise—ESPN's open score ranked him TE1 in separation, Nike's average separation score had him at TE6, and NextGen Stats showed only Brock Bowers was faster than Andrews. Ian Hartitz remains skeptical and wants to see visual evidence that Andrews 'isn't washed' and has a full role recovery from the Achilles before trusting him. Hartitz ranks Andrews as TE13–14, lower than Jawan Johnson (TE9), Mayer (TE11), and Godwin (TE12), citing role uncertainty as a reason he's priced low. Hartitz prefers Michael Mayer over Andrews as a tight end option.

Insight page

Michael Mayer

PositiveRole3:00

All-time Notre Dame leader in receiving yards and touchdowns. Last year played 90–94% of snaps in Weeks 6–7 and 9 with mixed results: 55 yards and TD, 10 scoreless yards, 26 scoreless yards; in two late-season games over 90% snaps: 9 catches, 89 yards (10 targets vs. Giants), 3 catches, 47 yards (vs. Chiefs). Catching passes from Kurt Cousins in an offense expected to score among the fewest points most weeks. Ian Hartitz ranks Mayer as TE11 overall, higher in PPR and lower in standard/half-PPR formats; characterized as touchdown-dependent in Las Vegas where touchdowns are harder to come by. However, with Brock Bowers sidelined, Mayer is positioned to step into a significant role as a low-end TE1 or better. Hartitz expresses confidence: 'we're pretty confident will be this lowend title one. Maybe even better.' Mayer is described as 'a really good player' and 'Great prospect coming out of Notre Dame.' Strategy is to hold both Mayer and Bowers, with Mayer providing immediate production while Bowers recovers. Hartitz prefers Mayer over Mark Andrews and George Kittle (TE16), wanting to see if 32-year-old Kittle can still perform after an Achilles tear in January.

Insight page

Michael Pittman

NegativeProjection7:37

Ian Hartitz notes that Trey Tucker could potentially be boosted over Michael Pitman in rankings following Brock Bowers' injury, though Hartitz ultimately ranks Tucker as a borderline WR4.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveValue16:42

In a trade comparison between Jacobs/Tate and Wilson/Mandre, Ian Hartitz prefers the Wilson/Mandre side, indicating Wilson has better value or upside than Jacobs in the current context. Hartitz also notes that Jacobs cannot be stashed on IR, which is a roster management disadvantage.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

NegativeProjection15:45

Ian Hartitz is fading Rasheed Rice overall this year despite his high draft capital. He cites real-life questions coming off a knee injury and jail term, plus uncertainty about whether the Ravens will continue force-feeding him now that Bianame is back healthy or Worthy is available. Hartitz ranked Rice as WR18 in week one, behind Zay Flowers, Makoni, Wadd, Higgins, and Pickkins, ahead of Adams and Evans. Additionally, Denver has held Rice to 72, 56, and 38 scoreless yards in three career matchups, presenting a tough historical matchup.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveValue8:17

Ian Hartitz prefers Rashad Bateman as a target following Brock Bowers' injury, suggesting he is a better value option than some of the Raiders' newly elevated receivers. Hartitz explicitly stated he would rather target Bateman over the Raiders' pass catchers elevated by Bowers' absence.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue15:00

In a proposed trade of Barkley and Sidi for Leaporta, JK, and Z Flowers, Hartitz advises against the deal, stating 'you're giving up the best part of the deal in Sidi and depending on how things go for Z maybe the second best.' This indicates Barkley is overvalued relative to the return.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

PositiveProjection16:15

Ian Hartitz ranked Tee Higgins as WR18 in week one rankings, placing him ahead of Adams and Evans in his tier. Higgins was mentioned as part of the receiver tier ahead of Rasheed Rice.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveUsage7:37

Ian Hartitz ranks Trey Tucker at wide receiver 50 going into the week and suggests he could be boosted higher following Brock Bowers' injury. Tucker will see increased volume, which is good news; however, Hartitz cautions against overreacting to Tucker's three-touchdown game last year where every score came from busted coverage. Hartitz places Tucker as a borderline WR4 and prefers not to start him immediately but acknowledges the volume upside. He could see boosting Tucker over Jacobe Meyers and Michael Pittman, though he couldn't get him over Pierce Coker and Sutton in his rankings.

Insight page

Trevor Lawrence

PositiveProjection20:25

Ian Hartitz ranks Trevor Lawrence as QB12 in his rankings. Lawrence was QB1 during the second half of last season; he was tested in Denver and performed well. He had a strong playoff game against the Bills, demonstrating more good plays than bad before late-season struggles. Despite a soft schedule, Lawrence proved his ability in tough matchups.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveValue44:15

Ian Hartitz prefers Woody Marks over Jonah Coleman as a Saints backfield handcuff. Marks could make the Saints backfield closer to 60-40 than expected and is only one injury away from a featured role, offering better upside than Coleman in a three-back committee.

0:08Brock Bowers is injured and I am sad.
0:13In a day that was supposed to be awesome, the return of actual meaningful NFL football.
0:22We found out that Brock Byers underwent a minis meniscus trim on Tuesday and is expected to quote miss a game or two. He
0:32got quote a little banged up in camp and the injury was diagnosed last week in surgery scheduled.
0:40I don't want to say it's the worst thing to happen to any of us in quite some time, but it's got to be up there.
0:48Ah, this is terrible news. No other way to put it. It seems like it's to the same knee that the PCO injury was going
0:59on. Didn't get that confirmed yet.
1:03Trying to react to everything as it's going down, but looking at some of the Twitter doctors out there, again, shout out Jeff
1:10Muellerj Thrive PT. He was talking about how Bowers earlier in training camp was apparently a little bit banged up and he
1:17was wearing a brace on the same side as his PCO injury. So from rookie parasol to CMC and now Bowers, it's horrible. Why can't we have nice
1:29things? It's not like I based a whole freaking draft strategy around it.
1:35Oh man, maybe it is just a game or two, but I was listening to Dr. Jesse Morris go on and talk about the return from meniscus.
1:43And he was even saying 10 days to 21 could be three weeks and then even once he's back, we're probably looking at
1:51someone that's going to be a little bit banged up, less than 100%, not dominating in an offense that, by the way, we've already kind of expected to
2:00suck anyway. Are the Raiders going to score 20 points a game for the foreseeable future? I feel like that'd be an upset.
2:10He's obviously out against the Dolphins in week two. They get Duran James and the Chargers. I'm assuming he's going to miss that one. All these games are on
2:18Sundays. It's the Raiders, you know.
2:21Saints in week three, Chiefs in week four. Their buy is not until week 13, right? This is the same team last year
2:32that rushed them back. And how'd that go?
2:36And that's the weird thing about this, guys. Again, contrary to popular belief, not a doctor here, but we got Rap Sheet
2:43out here talking about, "Oh, well, the good news, he actually said this. Good news is he'll be back sooner rather than
2:49later. Bad news is he's out for the opener." Yeah, I'd say some bad news, man.
2:55Some stuff as well about this being a three to six week timeline, but they're confident that someone like Brock Bowers can be back sooner.
3:02That's nightmare fuel.
3:07Obviously, we all want Bowers to be back ASAP. It doesn't sound like injured reserve and missing the automatic four games is in the cards, but man,
3:17the fact that again, we knew he was a little banged up. The surgery was just yesterday. Clint Kubak's going out there
3:22actively lying saying that all these guys are going to be out there literally today. H absolute disaster here. So, you just got to keep I mean, yeah, shocking
3:32guys. Keep Bowowers on your fantasy football team.
3:35The next point comes to Mr. Michael Mayer, the all-time Notre Dame leader in receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, probably receptions as well.
3:45Longtime Michael Mayer fan club member right here, guys. Chill out a little bit. I see everyone saying go crazy and he's automatic tight end one and
3:54everything.
3:56Remember, we saw a stretch last year where Mayor was on the field without Bowers. Now, he got injured like the same time, so we didn't get this long
4:04extended stretch or anything, but the hit rate of Mayer, even in games where he's playing a lot, isn't incredible.
4:10And he's catching passes from Kurt Cousins in an offense that's going to be implied to score probably the fewest points more weeks than not. I understand
4:17those things also applied to Brock Bowers already. They're only showing town. There's no wide receiver competition. We trust Kubak.
4:25It's not great, though. It's not great.
4:27Last year, Michael Mayer, he played 90% 94% 83% of the snaps. Weeks 6, seven, and nine, he went for 550 and a
4:39touchdown, 10 scoreless yards, and 26 scoreless yards. Different offense that was with Gino. Saw another two games at the end of the year playing over 90% of
4:47snaps. Nine catches, 89 yards, and 10 targets against the Giants. And three catches, 47 yards against the Chiefs to close it out. He's really good. I get
4:55it. I picked them up in a couple of leagues when the news happened. I'm still starting for sure. Well, let's go
5:01through it. Coulson Lin, Trey McBride, Tyler Warren, Kyle Pittz, Sam Laaporta, Harold Fannon, Tucker Craft, and not thinking twice about it. I got Jawan
5:09Johnson still over Michael Mayer. Isaiah likely gets tough going against the Cowboys.
5:18Caleb DS could be a dog.
5:21I think the highest I could rank Mayor would be tight end 10 over likely. I think I lean still likely though. That puts him in the GD. It puts
5:31him in that same tight end tier that I talked about in the tight end tier video that you guys might as well not even
5:36watch now because it's over. This is the worst day of our collective lives. Yeah, Mayor is in kind of that white boy
5:45touchdown dependent tight ends here. The problem is can't exactly be expecting too many touchdowns here in Las Vegas.
5:54Kelsey against the Broncos is a tough matchup. I'd like to see for sure visual evidence that Mark Andrews isn't washed in the year 2026. I have George KD down
6:03there at tight end 16. So again, I really just want to see that he has a full full role back from the Achilles
6:09looking good. He is up there in age.
6:12Concaid is another guy. We just don't know about the full-time role he has.
6:15Mayor's going to be out there. Trey Tucker, Jaylen Naylor, you know, Jack Bes, there's nothing to worry about there.
6:23Dallas God commanders. They were actually pretty good against tight ends last year. I think I'm going to roll with Michael Mayer,
6:31tight end 11 for right now. Higher in PPR, lower in standard half PPR where again we need the touchdowns to happen
6:40more often and can't exactly be thrilled about that. I do think that overall though for the Raiders is going to change things potentially in terms of
6:47their overall offensive personnel. I think Jack Bes is a winner here. How high am I ranking Jack B? Not very. This
6:54probably goes out to like f 5% of you who are maybe in some sicko leagues like me, you know, 14 team, 16 league. We got
7:00to start three flexes out there. I have a league and I swear my team is pretty good. All right, it looks good on paper.
7:06Every team looks good in September. I get it. But pretty good team. three wide receivers, three flexes, 14 teamer, I think Cooper Cup is getting the start.
7:14So situations like that, I do think Jack badge could be a decent ad because again Ian Thomas is the only other tight end.
7:22Shout out to my namesake been with the Panthers, but I think they're going to look at it now and say it's between Jack Bash and Ian
7:31Thomas and Jack Bash might win that battle. I don't think he was winning it when it was between him and Michael
7:34Mayer versus Ian Thomas could make a lot more sense.
7:40Oh man, not great.
7:45I have Baris everywhere, guys.
7:49Widget, Naylor, and Trey Tucker. Must ads again. I wouldn't say mustads. It helps. It certainly helps.
7:57Not starting, not going crazy with Trey Tucker, though. I got him from wide receiver 50 going into this week. Pulled up. Maybe we should go crazy and just
8:06base our entire fantasy season around Trey Tucker. What could go wrong?
8:11I could see boosting Tucker up over Jacobe Meyers, maybe up over Michael Pitman.
8:20I don't even know. I couldn't get him over Pierce Coker and Sutton, though.
8:23So, borderline wide receiver four for me. We'll see on Naylor. I mean, he had the cool one-handed catch in the preseason, but the fact he was even out
8:30there was not good. a fact that seems to get lost on us sometimes, but we get excited about the preseason. I get it.
8:37Jaylen Naylor, he's still wide receiver six. I'll have him around 64, 65. Bump up the ranks. Give me Chris
8:47Bell. Give me Dantavian Wixs.
8:50Give me Rashad Baitman. I'm still sick enough to believe that. I want to cry, too, guys. I had the audacity to go to the gym for a little bit
9:00because I thought, "Hey, late night, got some football on. Let's burn some calories." And they lay this [ __ ] on us.
9:10Yeah, Trey Tucker best baseball for sure. I will say with Trey Tucker, I mean, he is he's going to see the volume
9:16and that's good news. I just go back to that fever dream of a three touchdown game he had last year and every single
9:23score was busted coverage. He's fine.
9:26He's fine. I'd rather not start. Really?
9:29Any Raiders and Fancy at this point?
9:31Hopefully Ash and Gent is okay. Isn't that sick? Genty, Jeremiah Love, Bruce Hall, all these guys who we actively rightfully worried about the injuries
9:41with in August are presumably fine for week one and then Brock Bowers comes out of nowhere.
9:50Terrible. Terrible.
9:52Yeah, you can play Ashen Genty and that's pretty much it. Don't think this is going to help the uh Kirk Cousins
9:58keeping Fernando Mendoza on the bench plan.
10:01I've been adamant that five and a half should be the line for Cousin starts before we see Mendoza out there. Dolphins in week one.
10:13Would you guys feel confident picking the Raiders over the Dolphins? I wouldn't, but it's the Dolphins. Let's say they win that. They gota go at the
10:21Chargers and then at the Saints week two and week three. Loss lost. They're going to be big-time dogs in both particularly
10:26the Chargers game. Home against the Chiefs in week four. Kurt Cousins with a returning maybe Hobble Bowers against Patrick Mahomes and company. They're
10:35going to be one and three and then they go into New England in week five where Drake May and company are probably going
10:42to blow their doors off as Tom Brady has to actively watch his team fall to one and four lose to his old squad where
10:50he's got the statue and likely humiliating fashion.
10:55Week six, they're home against the Bills and they're home against the Rams. Those aren't layup matchups, but you know, they're home at least. You got to put
11:03them out there at some point. I don't want to do that Justin Fields thing again, which maybe a bad example because
11:08obviously it didn't exactly turn out great, but every NFL defense has dogs out there at some level. I admit the ones on the Rams in particular are much
11:16more scary. So maybe let's start them against the Bills, but after that, I mean, we got four of the next five or
11:21row games, do you want to start them at home against the Seahawks in week 10?
11:25Give the O line four or five games to figure things out. Let's admit that Kurt Cousins is not a better quarterback than
11:32Fernando Mendoza for the near future.
11:36This is horrible. I don't think he should trade Bowers. I think if anything you should lowball the Bowowers owners and try to get him for like free. He
11:44should be able to put him on IR here soon enough. Again, it's always tough with these fancy like should I trade
11:51him? You know, it depends on the offer.
11:53if you can get round two value for the guy because if again if you weren't drafting imagine having your fantasy draft before an hour before the season
12:04this is all of your guys' faults. Um if you are drafting tonight like he probably goes more so McBride easily
12:14becomes the tight end one.
12:17Lovelin's been going like round four, probably like round four or fiveish for Bowers.
12:25It just sucks, man, to have this to the guy that we saw try to play through a knee injury last year and it it slowed
12:31him down, man.
12:35Oo, Price and Craft, I don't hate that. I mean, Craft was going like round five or six and you get Janelian price.
12:45I think that's reasonable, Jeff. I think that's reasonable.
12:50Seriously, appreciate you offering up your miniscus Jr.
12:57Nightmare injury, nightmare team on a day that we were all supposed to be pumped. So sad, sad, sad. Again, slight
13:06boost for Bes Naylor, Tucker. Definitely in the opposite order of that.
13:13Mayor lowend tight end one you're going tight end 11 final answer for now don't panic so Bowers I think the craft
13:23Jaren Price was reasonable horrible horrible horrible horrible I appreciate some of you guys hanging out though if you got like Thursday night
13:35start sit other fancy questions about your teams we can get those H [clears throat] again at the fantasy PT Matthew Betts.
13:46He's a good follow. He was saying it matters if it's the same knee as the PCO issue because if it is, maybe that's
13:51long-term concerns. I don't know.
13:57Will we go with Mayor or Andrews while Bowers heels up? I think I'm going Mayor.
14:03The Andrew stuff, watching him last year, it was horrible. We all saw it, but it was likely there. It was colder
14:10there. There's underlying numbers. It's a Every counting stat that we care about for Andrews last season sucked. But then you look at some of these nerdy numbers
14:20that may or may not help us out and they actually were pretty good. He was ESPN's open score, tight end one, just
14:27separation based. And then he was fantasy points. They have their average separation score. Nike was tight end six in that. NextGen stats said the only
14:33tight end faster than Mark Andrews last year was Brock Bowers. Keep going back to him.
14:39I would just like to see it with my own eyes that Andrews is still with us and can be the baller that we know he used
14:46to be in the year 2026. Only show in town of Michael Mayer. New offense too.
14:52So give me Michael Mayer over Andrews.
14:54It is close.
14:57Bowers and Sidi for Leaporta. JK and Z Flowers. Absolutely not. I think you're giving up the best part of the deal in
15:07Sidi and depending on how things go for Z maybe the second best [sighs] uh Bell and Douglas. I would say Chris
15:14Bell now in week one. I mean, we even heard from the coach himself there's going to be no pitch count. So, I just
15:19think Bell is better than Caleb Douglas.
15:21You know, Douglas had the cool catching the sloth fade and everything. I'm Man, though, I I'm I'm really high on Chris
15:27Bell. I've really I've liked this guy since before draft. Not trying to Oh, I've I knew who Chris Bell was before
15:32any of you do that BS, but truly Chris Bell, if he would have gone at the end of round one, I wouldn't have thought it
15:39was that bad of a pick for an NFL team.
15:42I could be wrong, obviously.
15:45How do I feel about Rasheed Rice? Yeah, I mean, Denver's done a pretty good job against them. If you have them, like
15:51you're starting them, I get it. I expected to have him higher in my week one ranks. I was, you know, kind of
15:57fading him a little bit out on the guy overall this year. Just drafting someone that high that we have so many real life
16:02questions about coming off the knee, coming off the jail term that happened.
16:07And then just looking at the offense, we're like, well, yeah, they forced Fed to him, but Bianame's back healthy or worthy. Maybe they don't do it as often.
16:16Admittedly though, the fact they didn't add anyone makes you be like, all right, are they really going to change the offense much? But I had receiver 18
16:24behind Zay Flowers, Makoni, Wadd, Higgins, Pickkins, just ahead of Adams and Evans. Denver's done a good job against them though. Three career
16:32matchups, 72 scoreless yards, 56 scoreless yards. Last year, 38 scoreless yards. That was even with no pass or Tan in that game.
16:42Jacobs and Tate for Michael Wilson and Mandre.
16:50I like probably Wilson and Mandre side.
16:53I mean, you know, we still have Mandre.
16:57Yeah, I go Mandre. The Jacob stuff is still just it's such a question. You don't get to stash him on IR, which
17:03sucks as well. I get it. I mean, you shouldn't be able to, but I like Mandre's side a little bit more.
17:11I like Jacobe Lane, too. Yeah, Zay.
17:14Yeah, he was fine. He practiced today, right?
17:17Don't tell me Zay Flowers didn't practice today. I will throw my computer through my wall.
17:22I won't do that. I love my computer.
17:26Okay. All right. Yeah. Cutting and position drills during the media viewing portion of the practice. Working off with a trainer on sidefield instead of
17:35stretching with the team.
17:37He'll probably be limited on Wednesday.
17:40He'll probably get upgraded to full by Thursday or Friday and then he'll be good to go for Sunday. We'll see though.
17:46I am going to be doing a Friday show throughout, you know, the season 5:00 pm after all the injury stuff comes in.
17:52Going to be live on that. I'm going to try to get the, you know, important injury stuff out in 15 or 20 minutes.
17:56Then maybe do some, you know, bets and just talking about ball and other stuff live. But want to try to get those out
18:01there because I I don't want to be chasing these injuries on Thursday and obviously Wednesday this week because we got the game going. But we'll see what
18:09happens when it's finalized on Friday and we'll give the advice there. But yeah, uh, Jacobe Land though. Yeah, man.
18:15I will say the problem with Jacobe is just everything we've seen from him so far is just what we knew he had. The one
18:21club in his bag is making these sick contested catches. I put together a highlight film of like five one-handers that he had at at uh USC. He even got
18:29Leonard Bourne on one of them. I think it was like the third try and they were down 21 points. That's besides the
18:34point. It's a cool highlight. Uh I just think Rashad Baitman's still ahead of him in the pecking order. But if Flowers
18:40is out of the picture, all of a sudden we got the top two options for Mr. Lamar Jackson, who we know is capable of
18:45throwing for 4,000 plus yards and 40 plus touchdowns. So, god forbid something goes wrong with Zay Flowers and he is not out there. I think Lane
18:52gets into that. I'd say Boomer bust wide receiver five conversation. I jump up her shot a little bit to wide receiver
18:584.
19:02See, Mayor or Terren Ferguson? We're going Mayor again. Love T Ferg. Keep them both. definitely like do not cut Terence Ferguson, but we just don't know
19:11for sure what that rat rate is going to be just yet. So, it's good that he's out there practicing. He had the soreness
19:17thing going on, all these weird injuries before the season that we don't actually get legit info with. But the good news
19:24for Ferguson is everything's been great out of camp. He was resting with the starters. Like, there is a scenario where he's the de facto wide receiver
19:32three, tight end one, and what could be the highest scoring offense in the league. And there's also a scenario where we're watching the first quarter
19:40and Tyler Hegman, Kobe Parkinson, and Davis Allen, and Max Cla are playing just as much as this dude because that's kind of what they did last year, minus
19:48Claire. And it worked really well for them last year. So, it would be tough to overly complain. That's the thing. No
19:52one on the Rams roster has actually left the picture. And they even brought back Tutu. Like, that would have been the one
19:59guy, but they literally traded back for 22. They added Max Claire. We've heard good things about Terence Ferguson, but we heard good things about Jarkez Hunter
20:07and some of these other guys as well over the years from Shawn McVey. So, mayor for right now, but again, if we do
20:13get the best case scenario for Ferguson, he rises up into the top 10 next week and you'll be thrilled to have him.
20:19Taw or Kyler? I'm going with Taw. It's close.
20:25Where I finish up with him?
20:28I just Man, that heater T was on last year. If that's the guy we're getting now guess the Browns too. I know that no
20:35Miles Garrett but should still be a good defense. Well, no Miles Gar be a bad defense. What am I saying? I had Tall
20:43QB12 Kyler QB14. Trevor Lawrence was literally the QB1 during the second half of last season. And I know it was a soft
20:50schedule but he did get tested in Denver and he was amazing. Even playoff game against the Bills. He did more good
20:56things than not before, you know, the not part showed up there at the end. So Kyler, I just want to see him with my
21:02own eyes in this offense not suck because let's face it, last year was really bad. As much as it was a
21:08different situation, he's now got KOC and he's got Jefferson, he's got Jordan Addison, like it concerns me when JJ McCarthy, who we all agree was horrible,
21:18had some better numbers than Kyler Murray just in yards per stuff.
21:22Obviously Kyler is better, but we'll see what happens.
21:28Jacobs or Mandre RB3. Yeah, man. I just I leave Mandre right now.
21:35Ah, no. IR does suck, man.
21:41I think Bowers and if you have Bowowers, it's less of an issue. It sucks to let go of T Ferg, but I mean just keep Bowowers and
21:50Mayor I think at that point because Mayor I'm we're pretty confident will be this lowend title one. Maybe even better. Again, he's a really good
21:57player. Love Michael Mayer. Great prospect coming out of Notre Dame. Not his fault that he got put behind Brock Bowers. But like, think about it with T
22:05Ferg. We're hoping he can kind of be what Mayor is actively going to be while Bowers is out. And once that charade's
22:11over, you know, you have Bowers back in the picture. So, hell yeah.
22:16I know, man. Can't replace players before week one. What? Oh, I see what you're saying. Oh, you don't have an ad
22:25drop. That sucks.
22:29That's annoying. They should let you guys. I mean, I get I get having certain waiver limits, but that sucks. I know, man. Again, I told
22:39you guys superpowers. I had a bowl call show a week ago where I said this be this year's JSN.
22:45That's the annoying part about fantasy guys. Could that have been dumb and wrong? Yeah, sure. But I got this injury.
22:55Yeah, this Raiders offense could be bad. They could be bad bad.
23:03Let's see. I'm looking at the implied team totals right now on the week.
23:10Wow, they have the Raiders at 22.25.
23:12That's actually like not horrible. It's barely below the 49ers.
23:18Lower than the Raiders offense this week. Colts, Panthers, Texans, Saints.
23:22No way.
23:24You see, I'm quick to debate this, but I'll use it against the Jets and Cardinals. No, we'll see. I mean, Vegas
23:32is wrong. They're right a lot, too. But see how that goes. New England or Seattle tonight? I think New England gets their lick back. Yeah, Seattle's a
23:41little banged up, too.
23:44AJB and Dobs. That is the thing, man.
23:46Everyone's been like, "Oh, Drake May is going to regress in the playoffs and everything." You added AJ Brown and Romeo Dobs. AJ's healthy presumably.
23:53That hamstring really slowed him down. I think more than people gave it credit for early in last season.
23:59And Dobs is good and he got now they're deep even without booty which is crazy.
24:04I mean Kyle Williams, M. Collins, Super Deario Douglas, they could just be a sick offense.
24:12They're probably going to throw the ball around a lot too. I would take it.
24:14That's that's like Seattle's superpower.
24:16they can stop the run and still have like six defensive backs on the field.
24:20Football is back. I know I'm getting over getting over the bad vibes.
24:24Football is back. We should all be excited.
24:27But man, Brock Bowers of all freaking players, I literally don't know if there could have been another player to get injured that would upset me more than
24:37Brock Bowers. I don't think there is.
24:43I don't think there is. [sighs] I'm okay with dribbling. He's like a wide receiver four for me this week because again it's more so the play on
24:54dribbling has been all right he's good clearly and the 49ers liked him enough to pick him with the 33rd overall pick
25:00and we've seen DeMarcus Robinson 111 yards and a touchdown in their wild card game. We had the backtoback 142 yard games from Kendrick Bourne. We had the
25:09Richie James's three touchdown performance you know a handful of years ago if you guys are old enough to remember that one. So, it's been these
25:16lesser players when forced into a big role doing huge things and we saw dribbling get forcefed the ball in a preseason action environment that didn't
25:24have Christian McCaffrey, George KD or Mike Evans in the picture. So, even Dro was getting held out and Debo Samuel not
25:30really involved out there as well. So, I you should have better options in dribbling. I think I'm starting him in the flex in one league when I had to
25:39move out. Brock Bowers, of course, keep getting reminded of this.
25:44Where do I end up with dribbling? I have a wide receiver 42 just behind Casey Conpion, Carninal Tate, Jordan, Josh DS, just in
25:54front of Matthew Golden, Michael Wilson, Courtland Sutton.
25:59It's not bad. He's kind of tier with those guys. I wouldn't call you guys too crazy if you want to go someone else.
26:06Drop Woody marks for Coleman. Nah, I just don't. Jonah Coleman's good, man.
26:12I get it. But JK Dobbins is clearly the lead running back. They paid him to be so. He was last year. R.J. Harvey is
26:18going to handle a lot of the pass down stuff. And if Dobbins gets injured, I think Coleman comes in and takes away a
26:24lot of those carries. I don't think enough for us to be going nuts about it, though. If Harvey gets injured, he, you
26:30know, maybe Coleman takes some of the pass down work, but probably not enough for us to be going crazy about it. So, I
26:34want a handcuff that's maybe has a chance for standalone value, which I really don't see as probably the third most used piece of a three back
26:43committee that, let's face it, hasn't been all that productive for the three years Shawn Peyton's even been there.
26:49And if we don't even have that sky-high handcuff upside, we're two injuries away from there's a lot of guys two injuries
26:55away from stuff, you know. So, yeah, I go Woody Marks because we it could be like 6040. I think I think Demon's gonna
27:02be the main guy, but Woody Mars could make it closer than expected, and he's only one injury away from having a
27:07featured role.
27:11I appreciate your milk, man. [sighs] Uh Bowers out. Should I roll out Andrews, Jawan Cade, Strange, God, or Mayor in PPR? I assume you're just listening to
27:21free agents. That'd be funny if you just had that many tight ends stock. I'm going with Jawan Johnson. He's my pick
27:27in that group. I'm feeling good. He's two spots ahead of me than Mayer. I have Jawan tight end nine. Mayor tight end
27:3511.
27:37Goddard's tight end 12. They're really close. Strange is lower. Andrews is tight end 13 or 14. And Concaid's 15 or 16 before we know if he can get the huge
27:46role. But Concaid, Ferguson, Aronda Gadston, and Darren Waller are like the four guys that are being priced low right now because we can't be that
27:55confident about their role. But one thing changes. One little thing changes, guys, and we're gonna be hyp. But yeah, give me Dawan Johnson there.
28:04Rasheed Riser Burton.
28:07If a Dunay gets ruled out and Burton is fully good to go, no questionable tag or anything like that, I go Burden over She
28:15Rice. Again, it's the toughest matchup you can ask for against the Broncos. And Pat Certan is enough of a dog that he
28:22will occasionally move into the slot.
28:24Like so few guys do this, but PS2 built different. And when you look at the other dudes out there, like why not do
28:30it? Let Xavier Worthy or Taekwon Thornton beat you. I don't know if Cyrus Allen, future Hall of Famer Cyrus Allen's even going to be out there yet.
28:37So I would go Luther Burden. I'm just more confident the offense. I'm not thinking that their targets are going to be too different,
28:47particularly if Adun is out. I want to make sure Burden's fully healthy coming off the groin, but again, seems like he's out there and Dunce isn't right
28:53now.
28:56Yeah, I know.
28:58These platforms got to be faster.
29:00They're always quick to get their tweets out and send you the push notification.
29:06Changed them to freaking out already.
29:07They probably got to be careful until it's like officially done or some very good thoughtout reason, but I'm mad about it anyway. Uh Burton had a Monty
29:15in the flex spot. Full PPR.
29:18Yeah, I lean that way, especially if the Dunay's out.
29:24It's close if he's not, but he's not gonna be 100%. It's another one. God, injury gods.
29:33Mayor, KD, or Concaid? Yeah, I'm going Mayor there. I just want to see 32-y old George KD coming off an Achilles tear
29:41that happened in this freaking calendar year back in January. I want to see if he's still George KD because that's always been the thing with George KD.
29:49him and Tucker Craft are very similar in that they're yak monsters. They're crazy individuals, and I mean that in the most
29:57complimentary way possible, but they're also on offenses that usually go elsewhere with the ball. We don't see these high target totals consistently,
30:04but they're such freaking beasts that they make the most out of their touches and they have these insane yards after the catch totals and they do the plus
30:11minus stuff with it and you see quantifiably how much more dog they have in them than these other players in the
30:16position. But if we have KD already struggling for targets and he's on a snap count and he's not the same beast
30:22after the catch. I mean that's a lot of a lot of issues. So give me Michael Mayer out there for the full game. Dolan
30:27Concincaid I just don't know if we're going to get 75% route Don Concade or if it's be 50% route uh Don Concade. I
30:34think the Bills want to more but maybe maybe they're like we've had a top six scoring offense in each of the past six
30:40years. Chill the hell out you fancy nerds. Don Concade is doing fine the way he's doing. Fine.
30:47Yeah, the free agents, I hear you.
30:51Uh, yeah. Look, if Concaid, if we knew if the fantasy football genies came out and were like, Don Concincaid full-time role this year, it's a new thing. Okay.
31:01Yeah, I'm with you. Concaid over mayor.
31:04Just not not feeling it right now. It's also against the Texans, man.
31:08Josh has some demons against that defense. It was rough last year. That game is only close cuz Ray Davis had a kick return touchdown. James
31:17Cook had this sweet 40 yard touchdown run and then they hit the Bills did this twice last year. I think it was that
31:23game and the Eagles game on like a fourth and game. They hit the Boise State hook and ladder for 20 plus yards.
31:31They converted like a fourth and 25 against Houston last year and still lost.
31:37We'll see what happens.
31:40tooting DJ Moore Goblin or QJ.
31:45I think you still give it to DJ Moore.
31:47Assuming a Mecha Ibuka is going to be playing, I could get behind Chris Goblin if I was out. And I love, you know,
31:56we're high on QJ. QJ is my official pick for uh this year's Sammy Watkins award.
32:01You know, huge week one. Disappointing rest of the year. I hope I'm wrong, but you know, we can't have nice things. I
32:07was high on Keon Coleman last year. I know, sad. I should open up videos with that. You know, here's five guys I told
32:13you last year. Just the worst picks imaginable.
32:17God. Yeah. Um, give me DJ though. It's a tough matchup. I get it. But hey, eight targets. Chris Goblin still looked a
32:26little iffy coming back last year.
32:30QJ's obviously behind Lad. It's a good environment though.
32:35Same tier. Give me DJ. Price's stat line tonight.
32:42I'm going 15 carries, 80 yards, zero touchdowns, [snorts]
32:51two catches for another 25 yards, like 95 scoreless yards. Just enough to give you optimism, but also hate yourself for starting him at the same time. Seems
33:01like the most likely fantasy outcome more times than not.
33:06Oh my gosh. Yep. This is your fault. I blame I blame Jack.
33:16Almost read the full name. You guys are freaking killing me. All right, guys.
33:20I'm going to wrap things up. Moral of the story, the injury guys hate us.
33:25Fantasy football sucks. Even though we love it, but football is back and we should be hyped about that. Michael Mayer's a lowend tight end one. If you
33:33drafted Brock Bowers like I did, I'm sorry. This sucks. We'll get through it together. Let's enjoy some football tonight. Appreciate you all. Till next
33:42time, take
