Tucker Kraft

NegativeInjury0:00

The source is skeptical of Tucker Kraft's ability to replicate his 2023 efficiency following an ACL injury, noting that such injuries typically diminish performance; while Kraft is expected to be ready for Week 1, the source is wary of betting on a repeat of his high-efficiency 2023 season, which featured a 15.6 yards per reception average and significant yards after the catch. Furthermore, the source views Kraft as poor value on Underdog, where he is drafted a tier ahead of Kyle Pitts and 20 spots ahead of Noah Fant.

0:00Last year, Tucker Kraft looked like he
0:02was going to be a potential league
0:03winner. And then, of course, he gets
0:04injured, done for the year. Where are
0:06you out on Tucker Kraft? Currently on
0:08the pup, but by all accounts, they think
0:10he'll be there for week one.
0:11>> I want to be in, but the nerd in me
0:14looks at it, and when we talk about guys
0:16coming off of injuries, usually that
0:17zaps their efficiency. He was absurd
0:19efficiency-wise last year. 4.8 yard A
0:22dot with a 15.6 yard per reception is
0:25just bonkers to wrap your head around
0:26for a tight end. That means he's getting
0:27over 10 yards after [music] the catch
0:29per reception, scoring a bunch of
0:30touchdowns, a 20% target share. So, he
0:32was getting so much efficiency, so much
0:34after the catch efficiency, so much
0:35missed tackles forced that Terry and
0:37ACL, I have a really tough time betting
0:39on that to bounce back. Especially when
0:40we talk about Kaden Premium, he's more
0:42of a touchdown yards guy. I'd prefer
0:44Fanning and Pitts in that format. Other
0:46formats, he's sort of fairly priced
0:48there, but on Underdog, you're paying
0:49for him a tier ahead of your Kyle Pitts,
0:51Harold Fanning, 20 spots ahead of
0:52Fanning. I can't do it. It just gets so
0:54tough for me when we talk about a player
0:56that wins on efficiency. Especially at
0:57tight end where you can get these guys
0:58off waivers. I mean, he would have to
1:00run high efficiency-wise, he could
1:01certainly bury us again, you know, 10
1:02plus touchdowns. He does the YAC thing
1:04again, but off the ACL, I think I have
1:06to bet against it.
