Insight page

Chris Brooks

PositiveValue10:43

The source suggests drafting Chris Brooks as a hedge for managers who have faded MarShawn Lloyd in their draft portfolio.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection19:48

Chris Olave has been moved up to a second-round pick and top 20 overall in PPR rankings. The source cites his status as a 'target monster' due to the consolidation of the Saints' offense following Jordan Tyson's injury.

Christian Watson is projected to become a focal point of the Green Bay offense with a target share easily exceeding 20%, moving him into a role as a weekly game-plan staple. He is ranked in the top 48 for PPR formats, well ahead of ADP, and is considered comparable to Rashee Rice, Tee Higgins, and Jalen McMillan.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

PositiveProjection18:31

DJ Moore has been moved up in rankings due to positive vibes and a projected strong weekly role in the Buffalo offense. The source projects him as a potential WR18, noting that while he may not reach his 2024 peak with Justin Fields, he is expected to bounce back significantly. The source ranks him ahead of Parker Washington in both overall and wide receiver rankings.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveUsage22:23

Despite a rising ADP into the fourth round, the source argues DeAndre Swift is still a solid pick because his ceiling is not capped due to his expected pass-catching volume in Chicago. The source notes his health has been clean throughout training camp and he is tied to a high-scoring offense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage24:02

The source projects D'Andre Swift for major volume in a high-scoring Chicago offense, noting he is a solid fourth-round pick with a clear role that could expand if teammates suffer injuries. D'Andre Swift is used as a reference point for Rhamondre Stevenson's draft position, with Stevenson being selected one pick after Swift in a high-stakes draft.

PositiveValue22:08

The source views James Cook as a mid-first-round value, emphasizing his importance to the Buffalo offense alongside Josh Allen.

Insight page

Jarquez Hunter

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveValue26:03

The source moved Javonte Williams up in their rankings, viewing him as a clean pick at the 3/4 turn. His outlook improved significantly following the release of Jaden Blue, which secures his passing-down role. The source notes that if managers ignored his name and history, they would be more comfortable with his third-round ADP.

Insight page

Jawhar Jordan

NegativeValue5:01

Jawhar Jordan is considered to be in the same tier of running back prospects as MarShawn Lloyd, Quinshon Judkins, and Jadarian Price.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveUsage13:45

Insight page

Jaylen Waddle

PositiveBreakout24:04

The source is heavily invested in Jaylen Waddle, viewing him as an edge pick at his current ADP. He is projected for a true breakout season with a floor of 100 receptions due to Sean Payton's creative usage plans, and is ranked ahead of peers like Zay Flowers, George Pickens, and DeVonta Smith.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveUsage20:04

Juwan Johnson is considered a sneaky winner in the Saints' offense, receiving a boost in rankings as the team's target distribution becomes more consolidated following Jordan Tyson's injury.

Insight page

NegativeDepth Chart43:56

The source notes that the team signed Kenneth Gainwell, which adds to the backfield competition and complicates the outlook for Bucky Irving.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeRole3:37

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue18:44

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveBreakout4:26

MarShawn Lloyd is a high-upside running back target in the sixth round, rising in rankings and comparable to prospects like Quinshon Judkins and Jawhar Jordan; however, high ownership in early-drafted leagues makes him difficult to acquire.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

NegativeValue30:14

Mike Washington has moved from a handcuff to 'handcuff plus' status, with the source valuing him around pick 114. While he has looked exceptional in the preseason with 7.9 yards per carry against backups, the source warns that his rising ADP (8th round) makes it difficult for him to pay off unless the Vegas offense exceeds expectations.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeBust39:12

The source expresses skepticism about Parker Washington's current high ADP in high-stakes formats, suggesting it could be a bad pick if the Jacksonville offense spreads the ball around rather than establishing him as a true number one. The source notes that while Washington has talent, his draft cost is difficult to justify for a player who was a waiver-wire pickup the previous year.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeBust5:01

The source is avoiding Quinshon Judkins due to concerns regarding the Cleveland Browns' offensive line and overall offensive quality. While he is grouped in the same tier of running back prospects as MarShawn Lloyd and Jadarian Price, he faces significant situational challenges in the Cleveland offense.

Insight page

NegativeValue16:47

Rashee Rice is used as a benchmark for valuing Christian Watson, with the source placing Watson in the same tier as Rice, Tee Higgins, and Jalen McMillan.

Insight page

Rhamondre Stevenson

PositiveRole40:56

Rhamondre Stevenson is viewed as a reliable anchor running back with a safe workload, goal-line duties, and a passing-game role that is 'really locked in.' The source has moved him up in rankings, preferring him due to the strength of the New England offensive line and offense.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeDepth Chart24:00

Roschon Johnson is viewed as depth behind D'Andre Swift in the Chicago Bears backfield, with no significant role expansion expected.

Insight page

Samaje Perine

NegativeRole30:11

The source expresses a desire to see less usage for Samaje Perine in the Cincinnati Bengals backfield.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeValue3:42

Saquon Barkley is cited as a stable, safer alternative to a wide receiver-heavy draft strategy, providing reliability at the running back position.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

NegativeUsage43:56

The source highlights that the team keeping Sean Tucker is a concern for Bucky Irving's fantasy outlook, as it creates a risk that Tucker could steal goal-line carries.

Insight page

Tee Higgins

NegativeValue16:47

Tee Higgins is used as a benchmark for valuing Christian Watson, with the source placing Watson in the same tier as Higgins, Rashee Rice, and Jalen McMillan.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

Terry McLaurin is used as a benchmark for ranking Christian Watson, with the source placing Watson ahead of him in overall rankings.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveProjection20:02

The source is high on Travis Etienne, noting that Alvin Kamara's injury removes a significant threat to Etienne's passing-down volume. The source believes Etienne could have a big year given Kamara's recent history of breaking down.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

NegativeRole33:17

The source notes that the coaching staff forced Zach Charbonnet onto the field last year despite Kenneth Walker III being the more effective running back, raising concerns about Charbonnet's usage.

0:00Final fantasy football rankings update.
0:03Theo Ginger from Rotoire joined today by Nelson Susa of FTN. Uh I just updated my rankings again. This is we're the
0:12season's right around the corner, but we did have a lot of action this weekend with the Josh Jacobs uh commissioners exempt list. A couple of other
0:20noticeable cuts. I'm going to go over a few of these players that are moving up in ADP and also moving up in my
0:26rankings. Couple guys that are falling.
0:28Uh Nelson locked in his rankings. Those are over at FTN. If you want access to mine, uh you can use the code Theo35 or
0:3635% off. And Nelson and I are drafting a team together in the NFC uh New York Super. Uh which is going to be an
0:44awesome draft. Nelson, it's right around the corner. It's this Friday, so we're we're recording this on Monday morning.
0:50Uh we're a couple days away. We drew the 101. uh you just drafted out of the 12 hole in the $100,000 entry Legacy League
0:58out in Vegas. I I really liked how your team um settled in. I we're going to cover a couple of the guys that you
1:04drafted, but your overall thoughts. Were you happy with the way your team turned out?
1:10>> Yeah. So, the new Let's start with the New York Supra. So, that's a $2,500 entry that you and I have been
1:16partnering up now for a few years. Um this year, I feel like it feels different. I I think this year we're
1:23gonna come in and we're going to win that league uh this year. Those guys have been talking a lot of trash uh for
1:29many years. We came close last year uh but you know, we our team couldn't get over the hump in the uh in the playoffs,
1:38but um yeah, I I think we're going to do well. 101, start off with Gibbs and then see where it goes from there. Uh in the
1:46100k draft over the weekend, uh really fun time. Uh great experience. uh partnered with uh Steve G and David
1:55Huard in that one and you know we ended up going to the back end because in that league you actually bid for your draft
2:03preference. Uh so it's using FAB dollars. So you got $1,000 worth of FAB to start off with and the bidding got
2:11crazy uh for the one pick and the two pick. So, the one pick went for like crazy money, >> like 85% like $850 out of $1,000.
2:21>> $850. Yep.
2:22>> The the second pick, which, you know, that person went to, you know, pick two be, you know, took Bejon, that went for
2:31like 560. I just laid back and I I wanted to just go to the back end um from there. And as far as going, we went
2:40CD Lamb, AJ Brown. I'm I'm really high on those receivers. I think they're like true number on's every week. Gonna get
2:48their targets. Don't need to worry about them. Um so the biggest thing in a confined league was once we made the
2:56decision to go wide receiver, wide receiver, we knew that we were playing with fire a little bit because we also knew that this was going to be a running
3:06backheavy type of draft. So, us in the back end, we were probably going to start three, maybe four wide receivers before we get our first running back.
3:15Um, and that's how it played out. So, we ended up going four wide. For most people when they look at it, they're not
3:23going to enjoy our team. Um, because they're going to feel uneasy about the running backs. They're just not going to they're just not going to like the
3:31running backs. they feel a little safer with if we had gone like Ken Walker or like a Saquon Barkley from the back end
3:38and just bypassed one of those receivers then, you know, people would probably like the team a little bit more. Even even for us, like we were discussing
3:47that while on the clock, do we want to go one and one here or do we just want to take what we think is like two great
3:54number one receivers and build it from there? So, that's what happened.
3:57>> Yeah, I mean I I love I love that strategy. And then just a reminder in the NFC, it's a third round reversal.
4:04So, you know, Nelson wanting to be in the back end, not only do you get access to a really good player at 12 and 13,
4:10but you get access to a potentially elite player at 25 overall. We're going to talk about who you went with at 25
4:16overall. But let's talk about a couple of players rising up in rankings. Uh Marshon Lloyd, Dan Williamson and I selected him last night in the sixth
4:25round of an NFC prime time draft. you were in that draft. Uh we were drafting right next to one another. I think you
4:32know we both ended up with some pretty fun builds there, Nelson. But uh Marshon Lloyd's sixth round. Dan and I easily
4:39have the earliest Marshon Lloyd pick unless there was somebody who took him earlier in the draft after us. We'll be interested to see. I'm sure you'll see
4:47some people maybe pushing him a little bit higher. But for me, he's right in the mix with a lot of the sort of dead
4:53zone running backs, the guys that we've been drafting, the David Montgomery types, the Basel Tutons. Those guys probably a little bit ahead of him. But
5:01you talk about Quinnon Judkins, you talk about Jadarian Price. Um, he's right there for me. Marshon's a guy that you have an unbelievable amount of exposure
5:09to. You guys have 50,000 plus in Marshon Lloyd exposure. You've got him in a bunch of late rounds. If you had zero
5:18exposure and didn't have those late picks, where would you be comfortable drafting him like right now? And you do have a couple of closed leagues coming
5:26up uh like the New York Super sort of where do you think he settles in in that one?
5:32>> Sure. So, with Marshon Lloyd, um I got to give credit to David Hubard because they they started drafting really early
5:40and he was on Marshon Lloyd right from the beginning and he was taking them like 18th round in in a lot of these
5:47like um mainly actually big gorillas. Um so got a lot of exposure to Marshon Lloyd there. Uh between the NFC and the
5:57FFPC, uh we have like over $150,000 worth of Marshon Lloyd. Um he's like 40%
6:07uh playerowned uh in our portfolio. So um here's the thing with Marshon Lloyd.
6:14If you have no exposure to Marshon Lloyd right now and you're drafting in a football guys at NFC or a big gorilla at
6:24FFPC, I think it's going to be very very hard for you to go and fire him up in the sixth round. Um, reason being because
6:34there's so many teams already that have been built with Marshon Lloyd after the 10th round. So, it it gets tricky for me. I would
6:43probably look to try to grab Chris Brooks and Caleb Johnson and hedge it that way. Um, and just play it off, you
6:52know, hey, I faded Lloyd to this point.
6:55I think you just got to double down.
6:57Now, if you're talking about a confined league, main events, things like that, I I think sixth round is is where you're
7:05looking at it. I I think where you and Dan took him in the prime time is is like the spot that I've settled in with
7:11him.
7:12>> Yeah. Yeah. And I think like for prime times, it's an interesting So, anybody who's who's like not familiar with FFPC,
7:18NFC, the 350s started really early this year. So, there's there's hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of teams out there. Um, but the prime time for NFC,
7:29which is the $1,800 entry, those there's there's hasn't been a massive amount of them. So, it's like you are going up
7:35against Marshon teams that have 10th round exposure, but it's not like the the same level of volume. So, I think that for me where we took him is is
7:44correct. And when a lot of people sort of looking to poke holes in this one, uh, you've got guys like Jonathan
7:50Brooks, who's a good pick. Jonathan Brooks, I mean, we're both on him.
7:53Nelson and I both liked him. We talked about him last time. Uh, we were on the show together. Um, but you got the
7:59challenges with the Carolina offense.
8:01You've got challenges with Quinn Sean Judkins in the Cleveland offense. Bashel Tutin, uh, potential involvement of of Chris Rodriguez. He's still a little bit
8:09of a theoretical guy. Uh so really really going from there. Um and then you with Marshon, we've got an elite play
8:17caller and Matt Laflur and we've got what should still be a good offense that's produced for years and years in Green Bay. So with you on that one. Uh
8:25let's talk about another player from Green Bay. Let's talk about Christian Watson and let's also talk about Jaden Reed. I talked about them yesterday as
8:34guys that I thought were winners from the Josh Jacobs um commissioner exempt.
8:40For me, it's the chance for Christian Watson to be the focal point of the Green Bay offense is right there for the
8:47taking. Even though I like Marshon a lot, it's leaning into Christian Watson as a part of a weekly game plan as
8:54opposed to more of like a spike week guy that we've seen in previous seasons. I think the target share easily goes over
9:0020%. call it a 21 to 22% target share for Christian Watson. And then Jaden Reed also a winner for me. I moved him
9:07up Nelson because I think they're gonna have to be an 11 a little bit more. And I think Reed also potentially gets some
9:13manufactured touches around the line of scrimmage as sort of like an extension of the run game, a way to emulate the
9:19physicality in the run game. Where are you at? I know Christian and Christian Watson, you can't really get much higher in Nelson. You've been had him really
9:25really high all summer, but did you move him up at all um after this news? And you did take him in the $100,000 entry
9:33uh legacy league as well.
9:36>> Yeah. So, uh Watson was a guy that I've I've had uh originally pegged as wide receiver 22 um is where I have him in my
9:46rankings. It's really hard for me to move him much higher than that. So, I was already really high on him. Part of
9:53the reason in that 100k league, uh, if we're talking about that four or five turn, we I couldn't I couldn't pass
10:01Watson so that I could take two running backs and be a little more balanced and everything. Once Watson ma made it to
10:07me, I I think of Watson like I if you're drafting Rasheed Rice and T Higgins and T
10:16McMillan, like I put Watson right there with with those guys. So, um, yeah, I I I didn't move Watson from from
10:26yesterday's news because I was already I've already got him, you know, high enough.
10:32>> Yeah, I think that's a great way great way of putting it. I moved him up slightly in the overall. I think with
10:37the quality of wide receiver, it's hard to like push him push him through a couple of tiers, but like overall rankings, like breaking ties with
10:45running backs versus wide receivers. Uh he's a guy that I I certainly I mean I have him in the top 48 in my PPR
10:52rankings and and mine are not like specifically for NFC, but I think that's about the comfort level. So I'm well ahead of ADP with him. Um one
11:01>> Yeah, go ahead. Go ahead.
11:03>> Real quick, where do you have him at?
11:04wide receiver just >> so I'd have to pull up the wide receiver ranks. I I'll just to put it in perspective. I have him ahead of DJ
11:11Moore. Um and I have him ahead of Parker Washington. Those would be the two guys directly behind him. I have him ahead of
11:18Terry McLaren. Uh so I'd have to look and do the wide receiver specific for this show. I just pulled up the overall
11:24rankings. But I think Watson is sort of for me it's I'm I like Luther Burden more. Um, when I get past Burden, Watson
11:34is probably my favorite target. Um, that's sort of where I'm at.
11:38>> Okay.
11:39>> Um, but DJ Moore, another player that's moving up, Nelson. Uh, Dan and I took him yesterday in the fourth round and we
11:47went with four straight wide receivers.
11:48I didn't I mean, four months ago, if you told me I was going to be taking DJ Moore in the fourth round of ancime,
11:56I'd tell you you were crazy. That's not the kind of profile that I'm looking to embrace this year, but I've had to move
12:02him up. The vibes are really good. Uh it feels like he's going to get a really really strong role and a weekly role in
12:10this Buffalo offense. We've heard Josh Allen talk about it and we saw it in that preseason game where the the first
12:16team offense, it was like three three big catches for GJ Moore. Uh and I believe in the play calling there. We
12:22obviously believe in the quarterback and they haven't had a thousand yard receiver since Stefon Diggs. Moore's moved up for me. I know you didn't take
12:29him in the $100,000 league, but he went very highly to a guy who's an NFC Hall of Famer. I think that was Mike Santos
12:35who took him super early in that one.
12:38Um, where are you at on DJ Moore? Has he moved up for you in the last couple of weeks?
12:44>> Yeah, I I've got him in my wide receiver early 20s. Like he's like either 20 or 21. Um, and again, I I wasn't originally
12:53going to be on DJ Moore. Um, same with you. Just didn't like the profile. Um, Buffalo, they want to run the ball. They
13:01want to spread the ball around. But the more I looked at it, um, this Buffalo offense, like Shakir is just is just a
13:09guy. And Josh Palmer's nobody. You know, Coleman really hasn't done anything. He doesn't look like he can separate in the NFL. more of like a red zone target type
13:20of guy. So, as I was like looking at this Buffalo offense, like, okay, besides running the ball, like how are they gonna move the ball outside of
13:28Allen and James Cook? And DJ Moore like sticks just started sticking out. And I was like, you know what? I don't think I
13:36can fade this guy. I I think I probably should uh have some exposure to him.
13:41>> Yeah, I think it's a really easy bet and I think it's an offense that should be pretty consolidated. Uh, I think DJ
13:46Moore is a really good target. James Cook, I'm I'm well ahead of ADP with him. Not even well ahead. It's all it's
13:52all first round there, but I have James Cook uh comfortably as like a mid first round value. A lot of times you're still
13:59getting him at that one two turn. Uh Josh Allen, quarterback one for everybody. That's that's nothing uh no news. And then Daltton Concincaid really
14:07an upside tight end uh target as well when I sort of miss out on on a couple of those early tight ends. So, I think
14:13Buffalo is going to be a really high-scoring offense, but I think DJ Moore is going to be a player that bounces back in a major way. Do we see
14:20him return to like the 2024 numbers where he went nuts with that one year with Justin Fields? I don't think we see that, but I do think we have a
14:31chance that it bounces back and he sort of beats the 80 ADP expectation that you've put on him. Could we see like
14:38wide receiver 18 in the range of outcomes? I I think that's about right when it comes to DJ Moore. Um so
14:44begrudgingly moved him up. One player who you took and this was I mean you you basically showed $100,000 worth of flag
14:52plan here. Um but Jaylen Wadd uh you took him at the 25th overall pick in the Legacy League and then that same night
15:01Abib Agbob and I took him at the 310 in an FFPC main event. So, collectively we have $102,000 worth of Jaylen Waddle
15:10that night. Nelson, um, we're not gonna say the percent, but Nelson's got a high percent of that, but um, Abib and I were
15:16really on him. Yeah, who's counting? Um, Abib and I have really liked him there.
15:21It feels like sort of an edge pick at the 34 turn in a lot of leagues, but in NFC, he's now going to cost that early
15:27early third round pick. and you took him over a couple of guys like to go back on on the looking at the board. You took
15:35Wadd ahead of Flowers who we both like, we talked about him last show, ahead of Pickkins, ahead of Devonte Smith. Talk
15:41about the appeal of Jaylen Wadd. I think it's looking like a career season for him in Denver.
15:48>> So, I think Jaylen Wadd's prices uh I think he's mispriced. Um, and it's it's been all summer long. And I've been
15:56trying to just take him where people are are drafting him uh rather than pushing him up. But in that type of league, 100k
16:05league, I'm just going to take the guys that like I I really believe in and Wadd's one of them. So I've got him at
16:11wide receiver 11 um just behind neighbors Olve London. So he's my next guy. So when you say like I I passed Z
16:22Flowers, Pickkins, those you know those type of guys, I have him ahead of those guys in my rankings. Um I just think
16:29that he's primed for uh like a TR true breakout year. I I think that Payton went and traded for him. uh he has a
16:39clear uh thought in mind of how he's going to use him and I think he it's going to be very creative and I think
16:47like a hundred receptions is kind of like what I think his floor is this year.
16:53>> Yeah, I have a ton of Waddle. I have a bunch of Wadd in Dynasty. I have a bunch of Waddle and Redraft. And that's one if
16:59you've been following this show, I remember Nelson when you first came on, you started talked about Jaylen Wadd, how much you liked him and like the
17:07within days of that I had like Jacob Gibbs coming on saying the same thing.
17:12Pat Karine loved him. There was like all these like guys I would consider to be really sharp analysts as well as high
17:18stakes players who were collectively in on Waddle and you were getting such a good price on him at the beginning of
17:24July. But like you said, I think this is this is way closer to where he should actually be going. So I think if you're
17:31in one of these late drafts, if you're drafting on ESPN or Yahoo or Sleeper, prioritize Jaylen Wadd cuz I think that's one of the players that when you
17:40look at like the default rankings for home leagues, um it's a major disconnect where he's going with like really sharp, high stakes managers. Uh Wadd has a
17:49chance to I mean really be we every year we see a traded wide receiver um smash every year. Wadd has a chance to do it
17:57this year and be sort of on that list of look what he did once he was traded. The the usage was unbelievable and Denver
18:03became like this breakout offense. So with you on that one. AJ Brown also has a chance to smash. I we're paying for
18:09that one though. Wadd we're getting a little bit of a discount.
18:12>> The NFL season is right around the corner and it's time for Survivor Contest. Rotoire is partnering with Splash Sports for two Survivor contests.
18:21There's the $100,000 NFL Survivor.
18:24That's a $15 entry. Pick one NFL team to win straight up each week. No spread, no repeats. Then you've got a very cool
18:32one, the $50,000 touchdown survivor.
18:35This one's playerbased. Pick someone to score a touchdown. Passing touchdowns don't count. It's got to be rushing, receiving, or returns only. That's a $25
18:45entry. gets you 50,000. Ian Harditz and I are both competing in this one. So, you can play against me. You can play
18:51against Ian. Can you outlast us in this contest? We're going to use the code Rotoire and you are going to get a 50%
18:58deposit match. That's a 50% deposit match using the code rotoire. Go to splashports.com/rotoire
19:07and I'll see you in the contest. Um, let's talk about the New Orleans Saints because disappointment with the Jordan Tyson going down. Uh, he's he's on the
19:18pup. I imagine for him, we're speculating probably week eight or week nine for Tyson. I know there's been some kind of reports out there saying he's
19:28eligible to play in like week five, but not going to happen. Um, for me, what that's done is sort of consolidated the
19:35New Orleans Saints offense. I think Devon Vele is is a guy that I'm going to write about in like the preseason
19:40waiverwire article, but he's not a guy that can do anything sort of like what Jordan Tyson can do on that scale. So,
19:48for me, Chris Ave moved up. I've talked about that for a couple weeks here. You mentioned having a lav at like wide
19:54receiver 10 level for you. I have him in my top 20 overall PPR rankings, but Travis ETN also a big benefit for Kamar
20:02missing the be beginning of the season.
20:04And I think Jawan Johnson is a sneaky winner here. Uh Dan and I selected him last night, but it looks a little bit
20:10more consolidated in New Orleans, sort of losing the potential spike week and matchup volume on a weekly basis to Jordan Tyson. Uh and we also don't know
20:21how long the ramp up period will be for Tyson when he comes back. So I've I'm way more comfortable with a couple of
20:27those other Saints. I was always on a lav. Um, where are you at on Olve with his increased price and then the tight
20:34end and the running back in New Orleans?
20:36>> Yeah, I had Olve as like a third round pick. Um, if Tyson was healthy because I I am that confident that uh Tyson is
20:45going to be a very good player if he can get over the these uh hamstring uh issues that he's had dating back to
20:52college. But now with Tyson missing the first four weeks, like Olive is just going to be a target monster. So, um,
21:01same as last year, I I put him now, move him up to like the second round. That's where I have him. I think those other
21:08guys like Joan Johnson gets a boost up uh for sure in the offense. And then you got Vele and you got the uh Lance Kid, I
21:16I believe.
21:16>> Yeah.
21:17>> In that Bryce Lance.
21:19>> Yeah. So, they're they're going to mix in a a little bit. um not super excited, but end of bench, like on deep benches,
21:27I think it makes sense. And then with ETN, you got the Kamar injury, and I was originally not going to be as high on
21:35ETN uh going into the season because I felt like Alvin Kamar was going to be a pain in the ass for him um and just take
21:43away like a lot of the like passing down volume and things like that. But uh with this injury, it's a good reminder that
21:50like Kamar is, you know, he he's a little bit he's an older running back and he's been breaking down the last
21:57couple of years. So ETN could have uh pretty, you know, a big year uh in him.
22:02>> Yeah, I'm I'm with you on ETN and Jawan Johnson I moved up slightly. A I feel really good about and it's still an
22:10offense that I think could break out. uh the offensive line. A lot of really good reports out of New Orleans that this is
22:16the best uh New Orleans has been on the offensive line in many years. There's a ton of confidence that the Beat
22:23reporters have in the quality of offensive line play. One player that I have direct directly behind Travis in my running back rankings is DeAndre Swift.
22:34And Nelson, it's interesting because Swift keeps moving up and up and up in ADP. I remember when we were getting him
22:41as sort of like a five six turn player.
22:44Now he's sort of been living in the fourth round of both FFPC and very notably NFC. I'm seeing him in the
22:52fourth round more and more often. We've been able to get Swift for a lot cheaper the last couple years. You talk about we
23:00haven't really seen him priced this way since like peak DeAndre Swift when he was a Detroit Lion. He was never in this
23:07range when he was in Philly. uh Philly, he was going pretty late. And then last year in Chicago, he ended up being like
23:14the running back 15, but he was a major ADP value. Now you're having to pay a premium price tag for him. We heard Ben
23:21Johnson talk about how he wants to set the NFL record in scoring. Kyle Manangi has been uh dealing with a hyperextension. and he's looks like
23:28Manunga will be back earlier than later, but Swift has a chance to get off to a really hot start. But is there an
23:35argument to be made that we're paying for him at like the peak um of where he could end up at the running back
23:40position or is this about right for you?
23:43>> No, because I I think with Swift, unlike some of the running backs, I see the pass volume available to him in Chicago.
23:51So, I I don't think his ceiling is capped. So, where he's getting drafted here in the fourth round, I think there's still room for him to grow. And
24:00when you look at like the like this dead zone of like running backs, or at least that's what people call it. I actually
24:06think it's a sweet spot this year >> for for running backs. Swift like his o only issue throughout his career has
24:14been injury and everything has been clean this year going, you know, with the preeason training camp. Uh, no injuries, no
24:26little nicks and bruises. If anything, Manunga is the one that's, you know, banged up. So, I don't think that they really have anything else left, you
24:36know, behind them, you know, Roshan Johnson or whatever. I think Swift is in for like major volume uh at least to
24:42start the year and he's tied to a really good offense.
24:47Great play caller. Offensive line is super solid.
24:52You know, I think he's like a solid pick in the fourth round.
24:56>> Yeah, it it it feels odd when you have to pay like this increased price tag, but I think you sort of nailed it. You
25:02start looking at Chicago, it feels like a another offense that we can predict fairly well. Luther Burden, Coloulston Lovelin, Roman Dunay, but I think that
25:12Manungai is already sort of a capped target volume guy where even if he comes back, the pass catching role should go
25:17to Swift. And I look at Chicago and I'm like, if there was an injury, like a reagravation for Burton or if something
25:24happened to Lovelin or if something happened to Adun, there's potential that Swift's role would grow in this offense.
25:30And he was just flatout good last year.
25:32So running back 15, the team's going to score a ton. I mean, I think there's an argument also to be made that just go
25:39leave every single draft with one of these Chicago Bears skill position players like a Burden, a Swift, a Lovelin, and then a Dunay when he falls,
25:47and you're going to get exposure to potentially a very highly scoring offense. But Swift has the clearest role. Those other receivers, there could
25:55be weeks where uh two of them do very well and one of them doesn't. With Swift, it could be pretty consistent,
26:00barring an injury. So, I'm I'm there.
26:03One other player that I have ahead of Swift that I moved up in the overall rankings uh was Javvante Williams. It's
26:10been sort of a really strong runout for him where Jaden Blue that we thought maybe could work in and and be sort of a
26:17passcatching role there. He gets waved.
26:20Phil Mafa also gets waved. and Malik Davis, much like Javvante Williams.
26:25Javvante for me, I'm way more comfortable drafting him right now, but also Malik Davis. Um, on Javvante Williams teams, I love grabbing grabbing
26:35Davis and handcuffing him because you're still seeing Malik Davis going in like the 14th and 15th round, he's one of the
26:42more clear handcuffs to me. And it's on one of the best offenses in football.
26:47We've heard the Shottenheimer come out and sort of talk about how good a pass blocker he is, how they're comfortable with him. So, your thoughts on Javvante
26:56and also are you also moving Malik Davis up heading into some of these final drafts for you?
27:02>> Yeah, so I I did move Malik Davis up uh in my rankings cuz obviously the one of the big surprises yesterday in Cutdown
27:10Day was Jaden Blue getting released. Um, so I think I the way I look at it is like Javvante Williams, um, his runout
27:19has actually like been perfect for him where, you know, the thought was, okay, Jaden Blue this year, they're going to get him involved. He's coming into camp
27:28second year. Uh, he's got his head on straight. Coaches are going to get him involved. Maybe they take he takes away
27:35some passing downs from uh, Javvante, things like that. him getting released.
27:41Uh I I think Javvante Williams is like one of the cleaner uh picks that you can make like right at the like 34 turn um
27:50where he's going right now. I think he's like a super solid pick. So um I I don't have really any like issues with with
27:58him.
28:00>> Do you love survivor pools? Well, how about stepping your game up and entering the Survivor pool with Circa Sports?

28:55for details.
28:57Yeah, he's he's going to have the receiving role that we saw last year.
29:01Um, and also the touchdown the touchdowns could just carry him. It's an offense that we have confidence in the offensive line. We know they're going to
29:08move the ball very well and it feels like a little bit of a resurgence with Javvante and like you said, the guy's
29:14just running pure. It's one of those things where you were able to get him last year in like the ninth and tth
29:19round. Now you're having to pay like you said a third round pick. So some people are like it just doesn't feel right. But
29:25I think if you kind of remove the name and the history with Javvante Williams and just took it as as Dallas Cowboys
29:31running back and look what he did last year and look at his age and look at his contract, I think people would be way
29:36more comfortable with it. So, uh, with you on that one, can we manifest a a Jaden Blue fun landing spot, Nelson? I'm
29:44looking at the teams right now in the NFL and I'm like, is there a spot where somebody could uh get the really fast
29:50running back who can catch passes um a spot on their team? Hey, maybe Miami.
29:54Miami, they they had Jarquest Hunter for about 10 minutes. Maybe they'll just keep getting these guys that were kind of into uh these athletic running backs
30:01who never seem to to uh to to to figure out how to stay on an NFL roster. Maybe that could be the one. Uh we'll keep a
30:08candle burning. Cincinnati Bengals, that would be a fun landing spot. Get him get him behind Chase Brown there. That'll be fun. We don't need to see any more Sam
30:14Pun there. Um let's talk let's talk about uh Mike Washington because Ashton Genty settled into like the second round. We saw him last night in the
30:24third round of that prime time. I thought that that manager got a really really fun value as their running back three. Um they got him at like I I think
30:32that was like the 303 304. That seems a little bit later than we're going to see for Ashton Genty in most drafts. Most
30:39drafts I think he'll end up being end of the second round based on where the market's treating him and based on the
30:45concern that he could miss maybe two weeks if you go by sort of the prediction markets. But Mike Washington has been this guy that's moved past
30:55handcuff into handcuff plus. In your draft in the 100k league, he went at the 810. And we're seeing more and more of
31:03these sort of sightings for Mike Washington. I understand the narrative here where you're going to get that early season spot start for Washington
31:12for let's call it two weeks of starting Mike Washington, but then I don't know, it's starting to move into a a range
31:18where it's going to be hard for him to pay this off unless the Vegas offense is really really good and maybe a little
31:25bit better than expected. I love Mike Washington as a handcuff and I have a lot of exposure to him in like the 14th
31:3215th round. Um, where are you at on seeing these new prices for Washington?
31:38>> I think it I think there's two sides to it. I think there's the people that are pro um Genty and are willing to take him
31:47in the second round or take any type of discount on him. Um, and then Washington, they value him as more of
31:55like, you know, 10th round and be and and further back. And then you have the other side that are looking at it
32:01saying, "You know what? This injury just doesn't smell right. There's something there's some there's got to be something more to it because the initial report
32:10that came out that Sunday um was pretty grave." Like it it was it was like, "Okay, like this this could be a
32:18seasonending injury." And and then it comes out that like, "Oh, he's just got an ankle sprain. Hit, you know, dude's going to be fine. You know, tape it up."
32:28it.
32:29I'm in the I'm probably in the side of I'm proceeding with caution with with Genty. I I wonder if there is something
32:39more to it and they're the Raiders are just not really telling us the whole truth of what type of injury we're
32:46talking. So, what that means is I I feel like Genty could miss games uh like could miss week one and beyond. So,
32:55we'll see. We'll see how that goes.
32:58People are pushing up Washington because he's looked good in the preseason, right? So, it's the hype machine. But then there's another school of thought
33:07that well with Genty with this injury and everything. This coach, his history last year was Walker was the much better running back than Charbanet and he still
33:18forced Charbanet on the field with Walker. So, what's the chances that that happens with with the Raiders? And then Washington now has a little bit of value
33:29if he's going to be playing, you know, on the field more. So, I I think that's that's really what we're looking at with
33:36this this back field.
33:37>> It's a really interesting take. And I did lower Ashen Genty. Uh I have Ashen Genty at 28 overall. And again, you can
33:46access my rankings over at rotowire.com.
33:48So, I'm a little bit behind where he's going in some of these drafts, but I feel like my ranking sort of bakes in uh
33:55potential downside like you talked about. And Mike Washington, I I have him I'm pulling up exactly where I have him.
34:02I have him at around 114. So, I have him inside of like around 10 valuation, which I thought was going to be high
34:10enough to sort of get him in some of these leagues, Nelson. But I think my Mike Washington bags are already sort of
34:15packed in some of these higher stakes uh uh leagues and I'm not sure if I have to take them in the eighth round if I'm
34:22going to pull that trigger. It's just an interesting one because you have running backs that are available in that range that are in potentially better offenses
34:31that we sort of know what they are, but then on the flip side, you bring up the Mike Washington, how he's looked
34:35exceptional in the preseason. It's like 7.9 yards per carry against NFL backups.
34:40like really strong stuff from Washington there. Uh so he's definitely an interesting one. Let us know in the comments your comfort level where you're
34:47drafting Mike Washington right now.
34:49Speaking of Washington's, not sure if they're related, but Parker Washington uh went noticeably ahead of T. Higgins in the $100,000 entry league. We saw
35:00Parker Washington go at Nelson. What was that? The the like the 310. I think it was the 310.
35:08>> 311.
35:08>> 311, excuse me. which is really high.
35:11Um, but then in our prime time last night, we saw Parker Washington at the 402. He's been living inside of the
35:17fourth round in these NFC drafts and then in FFPC been like an early fifth round pick. We'll occasionally start seeing late fourth round picks of
35:27Washington, I think, in N in FFPC. But when you look at where he was going, I mean, I have Parker Washington's seventh
35:34round exposure in some of these drafts.
35:36I mean, this guy's been a absolute rocket ship, Nelson. Um, where are you at on where he's going now? Um, do you
35:43think that he can pay off at that sort of a price tag? People have called him sort of a discount version of Lad
35:49Makanki. Well, he's went two picks behind Lad Maki. Um, >> he's right there. He's not discounted.
35:56>> He He's He's He's on the same shelf in the supermarket as Lad McConi.
36:00>> You're not getting it. You're not getting little little 25% off. No coupon. that there's no there's no discount on him and and I I you know
36:08with me I have him ranked um well well below his ADP uh so I haven't been getting much uh Parker Washington
36:18exposure the you know it's just tough for me because I I look at it as I I get the hype. I know that Lawrence likes
36:26him. I know that, you know, what he did at the end of last year and he he fits the offense, but like the part I'm I'm
36:36struggling with is I still think Brian Thomas is a topend talent. I think Jacobe Meyers is super solid. Um, I think Brettton Strange is solid. I
36:47think, you know, this coach is going to want to run the game, uh, sorry, run the ball. He's a, you know, running back
36:54whisperer. Um, so when I look at it, I'm like, Park of Washington last year was a waiverwire pickup, okay, uh, on most our
37:03teams and saved a lot of teams and helped out a lot of teams get into the playoffs. But >> now we're going to take them in the
37:10third round of of drafts. That's the part that like I get everything else like like I mentioned, but the part that
37:18I'm struggling with is you're talking about a guy that was a waiverwire pickup the year before and now we're just going
37:25to draft him in the third round. Usually players with with like a a high pedigree um and and were drafted the year prior,
37:36those are the guy the types of guys you see in the third round. you don't see waiverwire pickups year before late
37:45round picks in the NFL draft going in the third round that so that's that's my struggle.
37:52>> Yeah. And and again heading into his fourth year as a pro. It's not like he did that as a as a rookie. Um I like
37:58Parker Washington a lot and I again I've taken him in a couple of main events. Um I have him in a bunch of high stakes
38:05dynasty leagues. Uh, I had I had so much dynasty exposure to Parker Washington at one point, Nelson, that I even traded a
38:12Parker Washington share for Josh Jacobs in the early offseason, which didn't work out too well for me. But sometimes you miss when you have a lot of dynasty
38:20teams and that team is still that team's still running Pier Nelson.
38:24>> Yeah. I mean, like when I look at it like Parkco Washington's going ahead of like he's right there with Lad Mcconi.
38:32He's right there with Garrett Wilson.
38:34He's going ahead of like T. Higgins in some drafts. He's going ahead of Luther Burden. You're on the clock. Who are you
38:40taking? Washington or Burden?
38:42>> I'm taking Luther Burden. I'm I'm still taking Luther Burden there. Um >> you're on the clock. DJ Moore or Parker
38:47Washington?
38:48>> Now, now we're sort of talking a little bit. Um if DJ Moore, because I think when I look at the target competition, um but actually
38:58I don't know about that one. Let me pull up my rankings for that where I had it.
39:01They're very close. Nelson.
39:03>> The answer for me is DJ Moore.
39:04>> Yeah, DJ Moore is where actually I'm looking at it now. DJ Moore is ahead of Parker Washington by a couple of spots
39:09in the overall and in the wide receiver rankings.
39:12>> So th this is probably going to be the guy that and and listen, I'm I'm partnered with two other guys and
39:19they're more interested in Parker Washington than I am. So I'm going to have Parker Washington on some teams uh for sure. But me just drafting by by
39:30myself on on certain teams, you're not going to see me click Park of Washington. And this is going to be a
39:37situation where it'll be it'll be fun to see like as the season plays out. Um because this could be, you know, uh end
39:45up working out bad for me if if Barker Washington's just the true number one in Jacksonville and they don't really spread the ball around. But, you know,
39:55I'm I'm thinking that that's going to end up being kind of like a bad pick for people.
40:00>> I mean, and listen, if you're listening to us and you're drafting in a sleeper, an ESPN, Yahoo, go draft yourself some
40:07Parker Washington. We're sort of speaking, it's a little bit of inside baseball for people specifically playing in like these two big high stakes
40:13formats where we're seeing this incredible steam, but there's still going to be leagues out there where you're going to be able to get Parker
40:19Washington at like the 56 turn. I think that's a great pick at that level, but we're talking about Parker Washington versus like elite options at wide
40:28receiver and also Nelson some of the like, you know, getting Javvante Williams or Parker Washington and getting like sort of Dallas's running
40:35back or getting Parker Washington. Like that's real for people right now. So, uh, we'll we'll keep an eye on this one.
40:42I mean, if I told you two years ago Parker Washington's going to be going ahead of Bree Hall in NFC drafts, you
40:47would have told me I was crazy. But that's sort of where we're at. Um, let's end the show with this one because I
40:52know you got to get going. Uh, a player that I talked about how I had to move him up in my rankings a lot was Raandre
40:58Stevenson. Um, when it comes to the running back position, I maybe I I had a good amount of Mandre, but I've sort of
41:05been higher on Trayvon all off season.
41:08Over the last month, I've kept moving Mandre up. Um, and I have Mandre in a range where I think I can get him in a
41:14lot of drafts, but probably not drafts that you're in, Nelson, because in the $100,000 league, you took him, and I thought this was one of the most notable
41:23uh selections in the whole draft. Uh, you took uh Mandre at the What are we looking at? The 501. So, to put context,
41:32Nelson took Mandre at the 501, which was one pick behind DeAndre Swift. Um, you took Christian Watson and Madre, so essentially one pick behind Swift and
41:42then you took him ahead of Bashel Tutin, Jadarian Price, David Montgomery, Quinn Sean Judkins, Bucky Irving, Cam Scataboo, and at the time Josh Jacobs.
41:52Um, talk about the enthusiasm with Mandre getting that huge amount of exposure to him and taking him. I mean, this is higher than he had probably gone
42:02in any prime time at the time that you guys took him here.
42:05Yeah, I'm I'm going to say that I set them in on on that pick, but um when you name those guys, like it's really
42:13shouldn't be like earthshattering. It's just it it's eye opening because he's never gone there in that spot. And but I look at
42:23him like, okay, give me New England's offense. Offensive line I think is better than Houston's. So, like between him and Montgomery, I've had M
42:33Montgomery uh all uh season ahead of Stevenson. And in ADP, that's how he's been going. I'm still high on Montgomery. I still like him, but I felt
42:44like for that point in time, that night, um you know, we're we're sitting there on the clock. Stevenson was like kind of
42:52the guy that we just trusted. We we wanted him tied to the better offense, better offensive line, less question marks. Um, I'm a Trevian guy. I, you
43:01know, Theo, you know this dating back to last year, but we can't fit square pegs in round holes. Okay. If the coaching
43:10staff feels a certain way about a young player and he's not going to be getting on the field as much, like, so I look at
43:19Stevenson as like his workload is safe and it's not like he's a slug. Like he he's good. like he can catch the ball
43:27out of the back field. He's the goal line back. So, there was a lot of things like factors when I thought of it that
43:34way. Like I look at Judkins like I don't I don't want a Cleveland Brown. I I I just you know I don't like the offensive
43:42line. I don't like the offense. Uh you know, as far as like who do I trust, Drake May or like Deshawn Watson? Like
43:49when you put it in that perspective, it's kind of easy, right? Bucky Irving, another guy that I kind of like. I like
43:56the price that he's he's been at, but they signed Gainwell and they kept Tucker. That was a big thing for me
44:03yesterday also with them keeping Tucker because it still opens up the possibility of like Tucker getting goal line carries and then it's kind of like,
44:14okay, that could turn ugly. Uh, you know, I can go down the list, Theo, but I I you know, I I don't want to make the
44:21show too long, but like that that was kind of the factoring into going with Stevenson rather than some of those other running backs.
44:30>> No, I mean I I get it. Um, I I I think that I can make an argument for some of
44:34those guys over Stephenson, unknown upside and all that, but I think when you look at sort of also the way you
44:39built your team, uh, some of the other running back bets you made, Stevenson gets you a red-hot start, which matters a lot to people. Like people are always
44:48looking at like fantasy football collectively, but a lot of times Nelson, you're really up against it if you don't get that early running back scoring,
44:57especially in a build where you started with four wide receivers. It's really important to have that sort of anchor running back. And I think when it comes
45:04to New England, the even like today in the Athletic, they there was a really good article. It's a free one on the
45:09Athletic. I don't remember the reporter, but he did one little tiny two sentences on each player on the roster. And he
45:16talked about how Stevenson's role in the passing game is like really locked in to start out. They have the utmost respect
45:22for him. And then Henderson was exactly what you thought they'd say. He's a big play waiting to happen every time he
45:27touches the ball, but the team wants him to take the the the three yards when they're available and just like accept
45:33those, you know, NFL plays that you have to make in crucial situations. Not what you want to hear heading into week one
45:40with your Trayvon Henderson bags, which I have. Um, and Stevenson, the team just has all this respect for. And then we
45:46saw the usage down the stretch and in the Super Bowl, scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl, all that kind of stuff.
45:50So, will Nelson and I select Ron Andre Stevenson in the New York Super. It remains to be seen, but we are taking
45:56Jamir Gibbs at the 101. Jamir Gibbs, no matter what, I'll review that board at some point right here on this channel.
