Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveUsage13:01

Had a slow week in Week 3, allowing JSN to increase the gap between them in target hierarchy; now clearly the WR2 in Washington's offense behind JSN.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

NegativeInjury34:18

Baker Mayfield suffered a hand injury that looked concerning; details and impact on passing game to be determined early in the week.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveProjection19:01

Elite tight end performance in return from injury; 13 targets, 10 catches, 116 yards, 1 TD with 43% target share. Described as apex predator in Raiders offense with non-existent teammate target competition; JSN-like experience with Kubiak offense where target share, air yard share, and first-read rate all present. When healthy, elite production. Benefiting from Raiders head coach Clint Kubiak's offensive system. Positioned as locked-in top-tier tight end alongside Trey McBride for the rest of the season, with the two expected to battle for tight end supremacy. Source expresses exceptional enthusiasm, noting Bowers has been a consistent favorite since prospect days and describing him as 'amazing right now.'

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection28:55

Brock Purdy looks amazing and inevitable this year; threw four touchdown passes in Week 3; has recorded at least two passing touchdowns in every single game played and at least three total touchdown scores in every single game played; favorable matchup vs Denver next week; produces regardless of who is on the field.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeBust25:45

Brown posted fewer than 10 PPR points in Week 3, a significant disappointment after Jamir Gibbs had predicted a big performance. He was completely dominated by Jaylen Warren in the backfield, representing a major miss on the bold prediction.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveUsage9:00

Christian Watson posted 7 catches for 96 yards and 1 TD on 10 targets in Week 3, following 12 targets in Week 2. This marks the first time in his career with back-to-back double-digit target weeks, establishing him as the alpha WR1 in Green Bay's pass-heavy offense by necessity. The sustained volume milestone signals a significant trend shift in the Packers' passing attack.

Insight page

De'Von Achane

NegativeInjury17:12

Suffered a disappointing injury in Week 3 that impacts dynasty team rosters. The source expresses personal frustration with the setback, noting he has been a consistent favorite and is held on multiple dynasty teams.

Insight page
NegativeInjury34:58

Devon Achane suffered a knee injury with negative team outlook; the Miami Dolphins have already indicated they are not optimistic about his status; this is a major downgrade for the Dolphins backfield and triggers Olly Gordon as a waiver wire pickup.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

PositiveProjection27:53

Watson has posted back-to-back low-end QB1 finishes through Week 3, demonstrating consistent quarterback production. This performance is notable given preseason concerns that Watson might hold back his pass catchers.

Insight page

Drake London

PositiveProjection4:00

Drake London exploded in Week 3 with Michael Penix as the starter, posting 28 fantasy points on nine catches for 194 yards on 10 targets. This performance validates well-documented splits showing London averages over 20 PPG in games with Penix as starter versus his slow start (six catches for 80 yards through Week 2). With Penix hyper-targeting and trusting London, he functions as a true WR1 in any week Penix starts, making him a smash play going forward. Identified as one of two WR1s on elite fantasy teams with Jamir Gibbs.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection22:54

Drake Maye has delivered historically awful performance through three weeks, ranking as QB23 at best. He has already accumulated seven turnovers in his first three weeks—matching only Will Levis since 2022 for this dubious distinction. The consistent ball-security issues suggest continued struggles ahead.

Insight page

Garrett Wilson

NegativeInjury34:38

Garrett Wilson is in concussion protocol; concussions are typically timeline-based and he is potentially unavailable for next week; status requires monitoring.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveProjection27:05

Fannon Jr. posted a strong Week 3 with 7 catches and 2 touchdowns in a Browns win. Jamir Gibbs ranks him in the tier below Bowers and McBride but in the next group of tight ends that fantasy managers should feel very good about starting week-to-week. His talent is described as fantastic with excellent athleticism, and he showed strong production despite preseason concerns that Deshaun Watson might limit his pass catchers.

Insight page

Ja'Marr Chase

PositiveProjection24:26

Chase delivered an exceptional Week 3 with 9 catches on 12 targets for 98 yards and 1 touchdown. Over the last two weeks, he has recorded 3 touchdown grabs and posted back-to-back games over 20 fantasy points, establishing strong momentum heading into Week 4.

Insight page

Jalen Tolbert

PositiveProjection12:42

Averaging 35 points per game through three weeks, lapping the field at the wide receiver position and establishing elite asset status. Significantly outpacing consensus preseason expectations despite being drafted higher than consensus.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveInjury10:59

Banged up heading into upcoming weeks; injury status affects Green Bay's wide receiver depth chart and target distribution.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveUsage25:13

Warren dominated Week 3 with Rico Dattle out, posting over 20 PPR points on 127 rushing yards (17 carries) and 49 receiving yards. He completely dominated Chase Brown in the backfield and is absorbing Kenneth Gainwell's receiving opportunities, showing he can thrive both on the ground and as a receiver. Jamir Gibbs recommends upgrading Warren moving forward, though he questions whether Warren can sustain this volume level for a full season.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveBreakout14:08

Delivered a breakthrough Week 3 performance after disappointing first two weeks; set career highs in all categories with 21 carries for 90 yards and 5 catches for 19 yards including a touchdown, scoring 21.9 PPR points to finish as RB4 on the week. Despite concerns about his snap rate (high 40s), route rate (33%), and only 12.5 touches per game heading into Week 3 as a top-10 pick, his underlying metrics (yards after contact per attempt, miss tackle rate) suggested positive regression was coming. This week confirmed the upside, and the Cardinals offense appears to be ramping up his usage going forward. Described as a massive long-term development.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeInjury33:33

Jefferson suffered an ankle injury and left the game to go to the locker room in Week 3; status and timeline unclear but requires monitoring for fantasy availability.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout9:41

Matthew Golden delivered a breakout Week 3 performance with 5 catches for 100 yards, 1 TD, and 12 targets—his second 12-target game in three games played after being drafted in double-digit rounds. He also drew multiple pass interference penalties in Week 2, a positive indicator of quarterback trust and continued targeting. The sustained high-volume opportunity despite waiting for an explosion game demonstrates sustained confidence from the offense.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

PositiveBreakout30:26

Michael Wilson delivered the breakout game fantasy managers have been waiting for in Week 3, scoring 26 PPR points on 17 targets. Despite being drafted in the eighth round and undervalued, Wilson is positioned to benefit from Cardinals QB Jacobe Brassette's tendency to support Trey McBride as the primary target while consistently involving a secondary receiver—typically Wilson. This performance could mark the start of consistent big outputs.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury34:09

Mike Evans is banged up and requires early-week monitoring for fantasy availability; injury details not yet fully known.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury34:23

Travis Etienne suffered a hamstring injury; he was already struggling fantasy-wise, and this injury could consolidate backfield usage in New Orleans.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeRole11:05

Tucker Kraft is not performing at expected level and will be tasked with heavy blocking duties to support Green Bay's struggling offensive line, which limits his upside in the receiving role.

0:04breaking down the 10 biggest fantasy football takeaways from week three of the fantasy football season. Just wild stuff. Just like you, I was watching the
0:14end of the Baltimore Dallas game. So, uh, big apologies for for going late with this one. starting a little bit later. I And if you're listening on the
0:22podcast feed, I stream these live on, excuse me, Roto Wire YouTube and I usually do it right before the start of Sunday Night Football and it
0:33usually starts a little bit earlier than this one, but what a wild game. I mean, that's exactly what we wanted. I had so
0:40much concerns, so many concerns that this would end up being a disappointment for fantasy football. And it wasn't like a like a massive game. It wasn't like
0:49somebody scored and went crazy like a JSN or Jir Gibbs type game, but everybody ate. Lamar Jackson, I think you're you're pretty pleased with what
0:58you got. Derrick Henry, two rushing scores. Javvante Williams gets a very nice game and CD Lamb continues to shine, but it was really just the the
1:07environment, the scoring. You get a 3431 game heading into Sunday Night Football.
1:13A real boost to a lot of fantasy managers. Uh really fun stuff there after all the gloom and doom about the
1:19turf and all that kind of stuff. It was just a really exciting awesome way to end the day. But what a wild day for
1:26fantasy football. And I think at the beginning of the show I it's it's kind of too early to talk about big picture
1:32things. But let's talk about win rates cuz every year we look back and we're like the win rates were higher for the
1:40team with the 109 or the 111 or the 112 or the 106. This year I mean it feels like a really really tall task for
1:50fantasy managers to catch up with the drafters at the 101. The 101 drafter right now is chilling. This drafter is sitting there with Jamir Gibbs in their
2:01lineup and they have a fantasy football weapon of mass destruction and it's one of the best running back starts that we've ever seen in fantasy football. And
2:10I'm not like hyperbolic here. This is one of the best starts we've seen in fantasy football. Jir Gibbs is averaging over 30 points per game right now. Six
2:20touchdowns on the season. I mean, he leads every every every category for running backs where he's got all these touchdowns on the ground and then he
2:28also uh is at the top of all running backs in terms of receiving production.
2:35So, like Jir Gibbs is on another planet, continues to do it today. He had 20 carries, high volume game, 99 rushing
2:43yards, two touchdowns, also gets seven receptions for 65 yards. Just in insane stuff from Gibbs. And we talk about the receiving work and I think that's a
2:54telling stat because Gibbs is not only giving you this insanity as a runner. We talked about all the touchdowns scored this year, six, but two of them have
3:03come as a receiver and he's si he's sitting there with 18 catches on the year. So he's well ahead of any other
3:10running back. The next highest uh receiving stat for running backs in terms of catch totals is CMC with 13.
3:17So, Gibbs has five more catches than any other back. This is a true cheat code and like a player that it's really,
3:25really hard to catch up on. I mean, we knew at the beginning of the year the Gibbs was going to be special, but 32
3:31points per game is just disgusting. And talking about the 102 drafters, they're feeling a lot better about things with Bean Robinson this week and really a
3:40boost of for the entire Atlanta Falcons this week. You had Michael Pennix returning a game where the Falcons were an underdog in this one game's in Green
3:51Bay and we're like, okay, they're going to look better, but Michael Penn, this is a tough task. Tough to go into Green
3:57Bay and win, but really is it? Green Bay is receding right now and Atlanta regained a ton of confidence. Next week,
4:03Atlanta has the Saints. That's going to be a huge game for ATL. But we knew about the splits. I mean, anybody who
4:10listens to my shows, we talked about it all summer long, and I'm not the only one. Like, everybody talks about the
4:15splits between Michael Penn and and Drake London. How Drake London just performs much much better in games where Michael Pennix is the starter. It's
4:25throughout his career, he's averaged over 20 points per game heading into Thursday night's game. And then Thursday night just goes nuts. I mean, it's
4:32everything we wanted to see from Drake London after a really, really slow slow start to the year. He had six catches
4:39for 80 yards heading into week three and he goes into week three 28 points has nine catches for 194 yards on 10
4:48targets. Just ridiculous stuff. Pennix and London have continually put up smash weeks and I think they'll continue to do so. He hyperargets and trusts Drake
4:58London and Drake London's game takes it to another level with Penn. So, if you have Drake London, I mean, he's a wide
5:05receiver one like we drafted him as in any single week where Pennock starts.
5:10And then you start talking about the win rates. We talked about win rates.
5:13There's a bunch of Jir Gibbs, Drake London teams sitting there. There's a bunch of Jir Gibbs uh Chris Ave teams out there right now. So, it's not only
5:23the advantage you get with Gibbs, but there's going to be managers probably watching and listening to this show that have a Gibbs team with Chris Ave with
5:32Drake London. You're feeling fantastic.
5:34You've essentially got the RB1 overall and you've got two wide receiver ones.
5:39But Bejian Robinson gave it a real go this week. I mean, awesome stuff from Bejon. 29 carries uh for 29 carries and
5:49ends up just going crazy with the rushing uh production where this was great to see because with Bejon, we were a little worried after week two, not
5:58worried about Bejon, but the offensive environment sort of holding him back. A lot of discourse about the Kenneth Walker versus Bejian Robinson rest of
6:05the season. Well, you end up getting 29 carries for 194 yards and then he gets two catches as well. has two two rushing
6:14scores against Green Bay. And it wasn't just the stats, it was how Bejian looked against these Packers. The Atlanta Falcons suddenly have a new lease on
6:22life with Penn behind center. This win meant a lot to them. And I think they have a chance to rattle off a couple of
6:28wins here. We'll see how this goes. We don't we don't want to we don't want to like, you know, go too crazy here, but
6:35Michael Pennock looked really good. Big shout out to the chat here. Shout out to Jose Pñena, uh, Dynasty Dave, Michael in
6:42the chat. Uh, really appreciate all the PE live people tuning in on Sunday night. And if you're listening on the podcast feed, if you want this sooner,
6:49tune in right before Sunday Night Football. The show drops right before Sunday Night Football. Um, going to keep it going. Talked a little bit about
6:56Atlanta. Let's talk about the team on the other side. And we've got the good and the bad and and let's talk about the
7:03bad for Green Bay. And there's a lot of bad for Green Bay right now. The fan base is really frustrated. Uh here's a
7:09stat for you. The Green Bay Packers have rushed for 146 yards this season. It's the fewest rushing yards through the first three games of the year since
7:201933. And that's an ESPN stat. At Rotoire, we we give stats uh credit. We we had a little bit of a like a a war on
7:29X here uh where another big site sort of called us out and said they're faster than us. Well, we're doing pretty well
7:36in terms of dropping fantasy football news. You need to know social media team at Rotoire is absolutely crushing it right now. And people are trying to talk
7:43trash because they see all the momentum we're getting here. So, I I also like to give credit where credit's due as do our
7:50social media people. So, ESPN, that's a great ESPN stat right there. So, a lot of people probably very angry about the
7:56Marshon Lloyd enthusiasm. I mean, I'll take the L right now for Marshon Lloyd and I drafted him in the seventh round.
8:02uh drafted him in the eighth round in Vegas. That one hurts. And those hurt.
8:06Those hurt a lot. This looks like a big bust. But again, your seventh round pick is not the reason that you lost your
8:12fantasy season. It hurts me, but it's one of those things we can recover from.
8:16And I don't think Josh Jacobs is like the answer here. I know it'll get better with Jacobs, but they can't block
8:22anyone. They have injuries on the offensive line. They have a lack of quality on the offensive line. Dan Fornick, who writes for us here at
8:30Rotoire, he's really the best offensive line expert in the entire industry. I mean, I'm sure right now if he had to
8:36reank offensive lines, he'd probably put Packers dead last. I'd be shocked if Dan didn't do that. And there's going to be
8:41an update over at rotoire.com. Make sure you sign up for that one. Dan will drop an update on his offensive line
8:48rankings. That's going to be sometime in the next couple weeks. Usually does it after about a month of games, five weeks
8:53of games. uh really really knowledgeable stuff with Dan, but that offensive line is broken. So that's the bad. Here's the good. It's turned Green Bay into a
9:02passing offense by necessity. And for us, it's a a pair of wide receivers who are really talented and getting a ton of
9:11volume. It's not what we're used to with a Laflur offense, but you have Christian Watson who's been sensational this year.
9:20Continues to play great. He's an alpha wide receiver one right now. I mean, no questions asked, that's where he's at.
9:26We saw the huge week one, and it's continued through three weeks. Seven catches for 96 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. And he had 12 targets last
9:35week. This is the first time in Christian Watson's career that he's had back-to-back double-digit target weeks.
9:41Then you have Matthew Golden, and this has been like a drip drip drip. We've been waiting for this explosion game for
9:47Golden. Week one, he had a ton of targets. He had 12 targets in week one.
9:52Then then last week continue to produce in a in sort of a minor way, but he also had a bunch of big down the- field pass
9:59interference penalties that he drew.
10:01Those are always a nice sign because these quarterbacks are going to continue going back to you. That's a positive play that doesn't show up for us as
10:08fantasy managers. But uh you've got Matthew Golden like a a ton of posit positivity there and had an awesome game. And this is one where I remember
10:18taking L's for this one when I was at Fantasy Points, I would go around and sort of on all these shows, not only
10:26with other content creators from other sites, but would go on with guys like Scott Barrett and Brett Whitefield, and we sort of argue about prospects. And I
10:34remember arguing with tons of people about being optimistic about Matthew Golden and being willing to draft him on some dynasty rosters. And I just got
10:43buried last year with this one. Well, we we don't take L's. We're just we just have to wait cuz Matthew Golden, it
10:49looks like the breakout is here. Five catches for 100 yards, touchdown, 12 targets. So, he's got two 12target games in three games played. Awesome stuff.
10:59Jaden Reed is banged up. And then Tucker Craft is going to does not look like himself. And he's going to have to block
11:05a lot to help these offensive linemen that really need a lot of help. So, we have a wide receiver funnel offense in
11:11Green Bay. the team has problems, but us as fantasy managers, we're feeling pretty good about the situation. If we have Christian Watson, we're feeling
11:20great. And if we have Matthew Golden, we're feeling really, really good because Golden, we were drafting in the double digit rounds. So, awesome stuff
11:26from this wide receiver combination in Green Bay, but the team has a ton of issues. We'll talk about the return of
11:33Sam Darnold. Not exactly what we thought would happen. A lot of people out there in in suicide pools, in survivor contests,
11:41uh they they picked Seattle this weekend and they're done because Marcus Mariota and the Washington Commanders get the win. Um this is this is really crazy
11:51stuff for Washington to do this. But Washington at home just shows the power of the home game and Seattle goes on the
11:58road and Seattle ends up really struggling. It was a a really tough one for them, but fantasy-wise, we get JSN
12:08and he's just unflapable. Continues to shine. We also had the return of Sam Darnold. And Sam Darnold from a fantasy perspective puts up a a great great
12:18number here. Um, you know, obviously they were in come from behind mode, but four passing touchdowns, 379 passing yards, and did have the two
12:26interceptions, but that's a positive for us as fantasy managers. and the Brian Flurry offense is working. Uh, especially for the JSN stuff. JSN is on
12:36another planet and I think we talk about like taking L's. One thing that I got right this summer is I had JSN higher
12:43than Consensus pretty much all summer long. Um, a lot of people were fading him and I continued to believe JSN was
12:50going to be an elite asset, but I didn't believe this. JSN is absurd right now.
12:54He's averaging 35 points per game. He's lapping the field. We saw finally saw a slow week from Aman Ross St. Brown. So
13:01JSN just getting even more cushion between him as the wide receiver one and Aman Raw as the wide receiver two. Um
13:09JSN we saw like come from behind mode where one of the drives towards the end of the game where Seattle's trying to
13:15trying to get a touchdown. I think JSN had like three straight grabs and then the the fourth play was Tory Horton
13:23being so wide open. Drive ended with a Cooper Cup touchdown catch. It was like JSN, JSN, JSN. You know it's coming and
13:30you can't stop it. Now, Washington's secondary is bad. And we saw JSN sort of eat up on some of these these
13:36secondaries this season, but JSN's ridiculous. I mean, the amount of points he's putting up every single week. Wild stuff. And one other note, we can't
13:45trust anything in this Seattle backfield. The Seattle backfield. And a shout out to the chat or Uncle Ted in the chat is saying that that the
13:55Commanders uh shut down the Cowboys and Seahawks running game. Seattle with like a true split today. So really disappointing stuff if you started
14:04Jarian Price. Uh really really disappointing stuff right there. Um but JSN unflapable. The guy just continues to put up smash week after smash week. A
14:14quick reminder to everyone that this show is brought to you by Better. If you're watching football and you want a little more action on the games, go
14:21check out Better. Make your picks on your favorite players or jump into the Better Sports book for spreads, totals, and money lines. It's all in one app. Go
14:30check out Better. Continuing breaking down all of our biggest takeaways from the week. We talked a little bit about the Green Bay wide receivers. We talked
14:40about Atlanta. We certainly talked about Jir Gibbs. We talked about uh Bejian Robinson. Let's talk about another running back. And this was a a really
14:48key key performance in a losing effort, but a competitive losing effort. It felt like the Jeremiah Love breakthrough week. It felt like finally the week if
14:57you drafted Jeremiah Love, you feel like, okay, now we're cooking. It was really rough sledding for the first two weeks of the year when it came to Love.
15:08But now, now we really feel like we're getting somewhere. Heading into Sunday night's game, Jeremiah Love is the running back four on the week behind
15:16only Bejian Gibbs and Derk Henry. He scored almost 22 points, scored 21.9 points this week in PPR. And there was
15:25some concerns, not on the talent, but on the usage heading into the the to week three. So, his snap rate was very low,
15:34like in the high 40s, was only running a running a a route on like 33% of plays, was getting like 40% of the rush
15:43attempts. Um, and his target share was okay heading into it, but we didn't really see any production. And heading into week three, he was the running back
15:5225 in points per game, only 12 and a half touches per game. Not what you'd expect for a top 10 pick, but all of the
15:59metrics for him were looking great. like the yards after contact per attempt, the miss tackle rate were were good. So, we
16:07expected this would would trend upwards, but didn't sort of know when it would happen. Well, it happened this week. 21 carries for 90 yards and then he had
16:16five catches for 19 yards and one of those went for a touchdown. So, Jeremiah Love sets career highs in all categories. I think this was a positive
16:24week for the Arizona Cardinals in general. I mean, I know they had the losing effort, but they were competitive enough. I know there was a field goal at
16:32the end, but I feel like this was one where the offense is going to start to come together a little bit. And I think
16:37that they're kind of a little bit back to where they were in week one. I mean, week one felt good. Week one week one
16:43felt good. Uh this one fe feels okay. I mean, it doesn't feel great, but it they they ended up sort of being competitive
16:51at the end. I think this is a team that that values uh winning, and I think this team is going to ramp up Jeremiah Love.
16:57I think it's a positive step, especially for Jeremiah Love and Fantasy, but I think if you're an Arizona Cardinals fan, seeing your top 10 pick look good
17:05and produce and get the volume is a positive step in the right right direction. Um, and you know, this is a
17:12really tough one. I'm seeing some comments about Devon Achan. We're going to talk about some injuries in a little bit, but yeah, I'm hurting. Uh, Achan's
17:19my guy. He's always been my guy. Have him on a ton of Dynasty teams and really disappointing injury. bunch of disappointing injuries this week. Uh
17:27let's quickly mention another QB1 finish for Tyler Shuck. Obviously in a losing fashion, but Tyler Shuck just continues
17:36to put up QB1 week after QB1 week. It's just unflapable in terms of the production this guy puts up on a weekly
17:44basis. Four more touchdown passes this week. Obviously, the Saints lose the game, but heading into Sunday Night Football, Tyler Shuck is right around
17:54QB5, depending on your scoring format.
17:58It's It's just wild stuff. And I was looking at it today. You You have I'm going to pull up this stat so I don't so
18:05I don't uh misspeak on it, but you basically have Drew Brees owning everything. Drew Breeze has the top 12
18:14touchdown pass seasons for the Saints.
18:17And I think we can get there with Tyler Shuck this year. Tyler Shuck is sort of going to get there. Like the bar is 28.
18:25He needs 28 touchdown passes and he's broken up the Drew Brees monopoly a little bit. But Drew Brees, it's absolutely wild. You pull up the single
18:33season passing touchdown leaders in Saints history. Drew Brees owns all 12 of those seasons. It's going to look really funny when we get to the end of
18:41the year and Tyler Shuck is like uh the 10th or 11th most touchdown passes in a season. So, wild stuff from Tyler Shuck.
18:50Even in a losing effort, he gets there.
18:52And the touchdown passes, he has two touchdown passes to the tight ends each.
18:57Wild stuff. Wild stuff. Um and yeah, we're going to talk about those Raiders.
19:01And why don't we talk about him right now because I see the chat. Not trying to bury the lead here, but Clint Kubak,
19:06coach of the year. Are are we there right now? Clint Kubiaak coach of the year and it's the Las Vegas Raiders and
19:13it's Brock Bower's Magic and is Clint Kubak kind of like Ben Johnson. Like we talk about the parallels between coaches. Well, last year Ben Johnson
19:22takes over Chicago. Obviously, very different situations with a year two quarterback with Caleb Williams and then you talk about Kirk Cousins as like a
19:32stop gap quarterback um a bridge quarterback until Fernando Mendoza is ready. But the Raiders are now 3 and 0.
19:40Did anybody have week four Kansas City and Vegas being undefeated going up against each other? I was in Vegas a couple weeks ago talking to Raiders fans
19:48when I was out there drafting at the FFPC and NFC drafts and Raiders fans were like optimistic for the Miami game.
19:55They thought they'd win that one, but they thought this would be sort of a big-time rebuild season, maybe look a little bit better, but Kubak's the real
20:02thing. The the play calling is outstanding. And they just got their guy back. So Kirk Cousins now has nine touchdown passes on the season. Wild
20:12stuff. Just wild stuff. Kirk Cousins has nine touchdown passes in three weeks played. If you're a For Nando Mendoza Dynasty manager, this shouldn't
20:23frustrate you. This should excite you because eventually it's going to be Mendoza. I talked about Mendoza as the stash on my Sleeper show that drops
20:31every single Saturday on the podcast feed and right here on the YouTube channel. But Cousins has bought himself a ton of time. Like the Raiders, they're
20:39going to continue to win. They're not going to bench the guy, but at some point it's going to be Fernando Mendoza
20:44and the fact that this offense is this good with Kirk Cousins. No, no shade at Kirk Cousins at all. Tons of respect for
20:50what he's doing out on the field, but it's going to work with Mendoza and Kubak. It's going to work for sure. Um
20:56maybe it's going to work at some point in the second half of the year, but right now the Raiders are winning every
21:00single week. So Cousins is buying himself time after time after time. the the bottom could fall out and it could fall out in week four, but one thing
21:08that's not going to hurt Kirk Cousins is the fact that he got Brock Bowowers back and I do a bold prediction show with
21:15Jacob Gibbs of Beyond the Box score every single Friday on the podcast and also on the YouTube channel. It's a lot
21:23of fun and and Jacob and I make big bold predictions for the week. I said Brock Bowers will be the tight end one overall
21:29this week. I was getting a little nervous when there were reports that Friday that maybe he wouldn't play.
21:35Turned out to just be a rest day for him. Uh, and did he not only play, but he but he was awesome. It was classic
21:41Bowers. 13 targets, 10 catches, 116 yards, and a touchdown. How about a 43% target share right out the jump? Guy
21:50comes back with a 43% target share. This is the dream. We talked about this all summer long. The appeal of Brock Bowers
21:58is you get the JSN experience. You saw JSN in 2025 with Kubak where the target share, the airyard share, the first read
22:07rate, the production, they were all there. Then you look at Bowowers and his teammate target competition non-existent. Those guys have done well
22:15for themselves, but Bowowers is is is the uh is the apex predator. He's the top of the food chain. And Cousins knows
22:23it. Kubak knows it. Everybody in the stadium knows it. The entire New Orleans Saints defense knows it and it didn't matter because Brock Bowers is Brock
22:31Bowers. When he's healthy, he is awesome. And you had a 43% target share for Bowowers today. That is unreal.
22:38Raiders Chiefs next week. Both teams undefeated in Vegas. I would love love love to be in Vegas for that game. The
22:47energy in that stadium is going to be electric. Absolutely electric. And a shout out in in the chat to Uncle Ted
22:54here. Great great commenter. very knowledgeable guy. Michael Mayer and Bowers together, they're in 12. They're going to be in 12 all the time. And
23:01Mayor had a touchdown catch today as well. This is a very good uh combination of of tight ends here. And Max Crosby
23:08and this defense are forcing turnovers.
23:11I mean, you talk about like what could have happened this summer. Max Crosby ends up staying on the Raiders, fails a
23:18physical, ends up staying on the Raiders. Now they're 3 and 0.
23:21Everybody's happy. Just wild stuff. But Clint Kubak, that's your coach of the year. Clint Kubak is the coach of the year right now. Now, the floor could
23:28fall out from under him, but what a turnaround in in Vegas with Cousins and Brock Bowers, if you have him, unless
23:35you're the Trey McBride manager, you then this this is your competition right now. Like Bowers and McBride are going to battle it out for the rest of the
23:43year. And you've got a bunch of other tight ends who can be very good assets.
23:46KD really strong stuff. King Kade took a step back today, but been a great season. But it's Bowowers and McBride just like we thought during the summer.
23:55That's where we're at right now heading into week four. But Bowowers looks amazing right now. Uh I I can't even I
24:02can't even like tell you how hyped I am for the rest of the season. Brock Bowers, anybody who sort of follows my
24:08content, this has been my guy continually. Like since he was a prospect, Bowers is one of my favorite players in the NFL. Man, I might just
24:16get off this show and go on the internet and buy my son's Brock Bowers jerseys tonight. We live on Long Island. We but
24:21we might have to have him rock Bowowers jerseys. That's how hyped I am for the rest of the season. Speaking of hyped,
24:26if you're a Jamar Chase fantasy manager, you're feeling really good about things.
24:30Nine uh catches on 12 12 targets, nine catches, 98 yards, and and a touchdown.
24:37Three touchdown grabs over the last two weeks, and now two uh games over 20 points scored in back-to-back weeks. And Joe Burrow was pretty good, too. I
24:47talked a lot about the Bengals defense this week and and how enthusiastic I was about them. Man, I was I was wrong on
24:53that one. The the Steelers exposed some things there. I think there was a little bit of a slow drip with Schultz last
24:58week putting up that big number and then this week we saw it with Pittsburgh and they missed a couple of plays. Rogers
25:04was good in this one. But the takeaway here is Jaylen Warren where you had an opportunity for Jaylen Warren with Rico
25:13Dattle out and Jaylen Warren completely ran with this one. Warren was this was a really really positive week for him where he ends up getting over 20 PPR
25:23points in most formats. uh 127 yards on 17 carries and he had 49 receiving yards and one of them was like the early long
25:33catch which sort of set the tone on the day. I think you need to upgrade Jaylen Warren moving forward and I think Jaylen
25:39Warren managers are probably saying you know Rico Dattle take a little more time off. Uh let's let's see what we can do.
25:45Jaylen Warren completely completely dominated Chase Brown in this running back versus and obviously that's not a not a thing in the in the NFL, but Chase
25:54Brown manager is really tilting one.
25:56That's an L for me. Bold prediction show. I thought this would be a big Chase Brown game. It was certainly was
26:01not. Chase Brown uh fewer than 10 PPR points. Disappointment. But Jaylen Warren, awesome stuff. and Warren, we talked about in the preseason absorbing
26:12some of those Kenneth Gainwell receiving opportunities.
26:15It's been a little more spread out from Rogers this year, but it's a very positive sign to see Jaylen Warren thrive both on the ground and as a
26:24receiver. He's continued to be like a very talented player. We've always wanted like a little more usage. Not sure he can endure this level of volume
26:33for like a season, but if we get two or three more weeks of Jaylen Warren like this, huge, huge positivity here. Um
26:40Jaylen Warren just an awesome awesome game for him today and a big win for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
26:47Can we talk about I don't even want to talk about it because it's gross. Well, we we'll come back to this one. How
26:53about back-to-back QB1 finishes for Deshun Watson? now has two back-to-back low-end QB1 finishes. But I think the story of the day, we were worried in the
27:05preseason about Deshun Watson sort of holding back all of the Browns pass catchers, but we've had a positive game here for Harold Fannon Jr. in a winning
27:16fashion. So, Cleveland gets the win, but we get seven catches for Harold Fannon Jr. and two touchdown two touchdown scores. positive stuff from Fannon. And
27:27we remember last year Fannon had these incredible splits with Shadur Sanders.
27:31So, we're sort of rooting for Shadur Sanders to take over as Harold Fannon Jr. uh dynasty managers or reddraft managers. Well, we're starting to see
27:39it. Uh the Browns are completely trusting this young pair of wide receivers in Denzel Boston and Casey Conpsion. These guys are on the field
27:49all the time, but it's created this very young, very, very young like passing core where you've got the two rookies and the secondyear player in Fannon
28:01who's very young and they're all playing together and Watson is winning games, won two games in a row here. So, we
28:08don't want to get ahead of ourselves.
28:10But, I think any sort of frustration that you might have that it's not Shador Sanders and you got Harold Fannon Jr.,
28:17you can sort of rest assured Fannon is locked in. He's not in the Bowowers McBride tier, but he's in that next
28:26group of tight ends that you feel very good about starting week in week out.
28:30And we know the talent for Harold Fannon Jr. is fantastic. The Yakability, he's he's just awesome. You think about Fannon, how he was able to be a fast
28:39starter right out the gate out of the MAC last year. And a lot of the even the all-time greats from the MAC were sort
28:46of slow starters to their NFL career.
28:48Not with Harold Fannon Jr. He's the real deal. So feeling really really good about that one. Talking about Brock Pury. Brock Pury. Brock Perty looks
28:58amazing this year. Uh Brock Party is inevitable this year. And like when Brock Party ripped off that long touchdown run, I I got and they called
29:06the hold on KD, I was like angry angry at the TV on that one. Like give give Brock Purie his damn touchdown you
29:13cowards because Brock Perie just ripped off this insane run and then they called the penalty and then he just passes a
29:20touchdown to KD. So like Brock Pur's inevitable. Four touchdown passes. Now he's going to have to deal with a potential injury to Mike Evans. Tough
29:29stuff there. But it's almost like it doesn't matter who's on the field. Brock Pury just produces. It's every single week Brock Perie looks really really
29:39good right now. Uh this was his season high in passing touchdowns, but he's had at least two passing touchdowns in every
29:46single game played and he's had at least three touchdown scores in every single game played. Next week they have Denver coming into to San Francisco. The 49ers
29:56have a chance to go 4-0 and Brock Pury just looks unbelievable. And guess what?
30:01It doesn't matter who's out on the field. Brock Pury's going to find a way to win. and the consolidation there. You
30:06got, you know, obviously the the big Debo Samuel lateral play, but you've got Debo, you've got KD, you've got McAffrey, you got all the old guys, and
30:15Brock Pertie is going to find a way to get three touchdowns next week, too.
30:18Even against the Denver Broncos defense, Brock Party looks awesome. Quick shout out, the chat's asking me what I think about Michael Wilson. Big game for
30:26Michael Wilson today. This was sort of the Michael Wilson game that fantasy managers have been waiting for. uh Wilson ends up scoring 26 PPR points. Um
30:37and it sort of looked like like last year where the guy gets a ton of targets and I think that the target, you know,
30:44we can't count on this 17 targets, but it's we we keep saying this about Wilson and really I should have probably talked
30:51about him a little more. My big takeaway was Jeremiah Love and I think long term the Jeremiah Love thing was massive, but
30:59it's Michael Wilson.
31:01It couldn't have gone any better if you drafted Michael Wilson after today's game, especially compared to where you're at if you're a Marvin Harrison
31:09Junior manager. Um, but Michael Wilson 17 targets today. There's a couple of very true things in fantasy football when it comes to Jacobe Brassette.
31:20Jacobe Brassette loves passing to Trey McBride and Jacobe Brassette usually can support a secondary target and that target's usually Michael Wilson. So,
31:29we've seen a lot of big big Michael Wilson performances with Jacobe Brassette and hopefully this is a start of something. Wilson was another guy you
31:38were getting in like the eighth round.
31:40So, people never really came around on him. He was the second drafted wide receiver in Arizona like all throughout the summer. Marv Marvin Harrison Jr.,
31:49those managers really are hoping for a trade, but I don't really see it happening. Arizona doesn't necessarily have the wide receiver depth just to
31:57trade away a guy on a rookie contract.
31:58Just my two cents. I would love it. I would love to see um I we love seeing trades and we love to see Marvin
32:04Harrison Jr. sort of in a different situation. But uh Michael Wilson, you're feeling fantastic after all these targets today for sure. We talked about
32:14Chase. We mentioned the the thriller in Brazil. Let's talk about how bad Drake May is right now. Week one. Week one I'm
32:25in I'm in Vegas and I We're drafting a team that night. Um, and we're watching the game and we're drafting at the same
32:35time and it's tough and it's like Drake May looks bad. Drake May looks bad. And then the end of the game Drake May the
32:40interception was just horrendous. And it's like Drake May um about as bad as it gets that night. And I remember I I
32:49was talking to, you know, Matt Resto about this, Allen Allen about this, talking to Jim Coventry about this. And it's like it's going to get better. It's
32:57going to get better. Um, with Drake May, we we talked about how like this is the bottom. QB23 on on the week and it was
33:04bad news. Well, QB23 is the high for Drake May. This is like this is historically awful. And I saw this one
33:13on X and this was a stat I couldn't believe. I had to double check this one, but only two quarterbacks since 2022
33:21have had seven turnovers in their first three weeks of the year. And it's now Drake May and Will Levves. It's insane.
33:29Drake May keeps turning the ball over.
33:32These turnovers are rampant and Drake May looks completely like lost out there. He is a bench until we see something improve. There is nothing for
33:41us to hang our hat on with Drake May right now. This is really bad. The defenses are teeing off on him. And this
33:48is a eyeopening 35-6 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jacksonville Jaguars defense is good. It's a good defense. We got to give them some
33:57credit, but this was annihilation for the Jaguars and the Patriots. It's crazy to me if I told if somebody who hasn't
34:04ever watched football showed up and I said, "These two teams were play both playoff teams last year. Which team was in the Super Bowl? Which team wasn't?"
34:13Every single person would say the Jaguars. It's wild this downfall of the New England Patriots. We saw it in week one, but a very competitive loss. Week
34:22two, they win. And then week three, the bottom falls out against this very hungry Jacksonville defense and Jacksonville just stomps them. And then
34:30we got to talk about the injuries.
34:33Injuries are tough. This is a tough one.
34:35Uh obviously Justin Jefferson goes to the locker room with an ankle injury.
34:39You got a thigh injury for Bruce Hall.
34:42If Brilan Allen is in on on your waiver wire, uh you got to get get him on speed dial. Brillin Allen's a guy to add
34:49there. I'm sure there's going to be some talk about Isaiah Davis, but Brilan Allen, that's the guy. Um, mentioning Mike Evans, Mike Evans banged up now.
34:58We're going to monitor that early in the week. Baker Mayfield hit his hand today.
35:03That looked kind of ugly. We're going to find out a little bit more of that early on in the week. Uh, Travis Travis ETN
35:10aka Achan hamstring injury. Uh, he was already sort of struggling fantasy wise, but that sort of could consolidate things in New Orleans. Um Garrett
35:18Wilson, it sounds like a a concussion.
35:20So obviously we're not happy about a concussion, but a concussion um it it it's easier to deal with. It's usually just a timeline thing. Um I could be I I
35:31need to double check that. Yeah, it's a concussion. I don't have any new information about that one, but he's in the protocol, so potentially not playing
35:38next week. Uh really really tough one.
35:41And I see people in the chat say talking about Drake May. Is he the next Johnny Johnny Manzel? I don't think he's the
35:48next Johnny Manzel. We're not We're not that concerned. I mean, we're concerned, but we're not that concerned. Um, man, and and I got to talk about it. It's
35:56Devon Achan. This is the one Devon Achan. Devon Achan. This is a knee injury, and it's it's bad stuff. The the
36:05team has already come out and said that they are not very optimistic about things. So, this is an Olly Gordon waiverwire pickup. If you're looking for
36:14a Miami Dolphins running back, it's Olly Gordon. Um Olly Gordon looked good today. Brilan Allen would be my preference if they're both available in
36:25your league. Um I'm going to cover all of the Waverwire ads. You're going to see that show drop probably tomorrow.
36:32Usually it drops early. I try to get that one out of the way. But uh I'm tired, boss. I'm tired about talking
36:37about all these injuries, especially with guys on my dynasty rosters, guys rosters. cuz I know you're tired on them, too. But it feels like every week,
36:45this show is supposed to be like 75% positive and then like 25% negative. And I feel like it just takes the wind out
36:53of the sales to give like these injury updates because we get all these injuries and they're just adding up and adding up and adding up. So, yeah, I
37:03mean, there's going to be some running backs on the waiver wire this week, but it's unfortunate because it's not takeovers, it's injuries. And guess
37:11what, guys? It's a huge downgrade for this Miami Dolphins running back room.
37:16Han was struggling to put up numbers.
37:18Ali Gordon's going to struggle even more. Brilen Allen's interesting because I've always sort of liked Brilen Allen.
37:25He's definitely going to be ahead of Gordon for me. Um I got to break it down. Got to try to get more
37:30information. But I I can't thank you enough for all the people that tune in live to this show. Big shout out. If
