45

Adam Thielen

NegativeUsage7:19

Adam Thielen is noted as the primary targets-per-route-run player for the Panthers during Xavier Legette's rookie season.

Insight page

Adonai Mitchell

PositiveSleeper19:07

Mitchell is a high-upside, cheap late-round target (15th-16th round) and a pure bet on talent. While he is prone to drops and focus issues, he possesses elite highlight-reel potential and separation metrics; he is a dark horse to be the second-highest target earner in New York, though he may be inconsistent for a full season.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

NegativeSleeper23:58

Antonio Williams, a third-round rookie out of Clemson, has generated positive training camp buzz. The source is not actively targeting or fading him, noting that his development and performance could influence whether the Commanders sign a veteran like Stefon Diggs.

Insight page

Bo Melton

NegativeUsage24:56

The source expects Bo Melton's role to be significantly reduced, noting he will not see the 25% route participation he previously held as Green Bay trims their wide receiver rotation.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

NegativeValue8:41

Carnell Tate is noted as having a very high ADP, making him a sixth-round pick in upcoming formats.

Insight page

Chigoziem Okonkwo

PositiveValue23:41

Okonkwo is a recommended target at his current ADP of TE16. He is an athletically gifted player with YAC ability who could see a career year if he avoids competition from Zach Ertz; the source is actively 'jamming' him in drafts.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper27:06

Chigoziem Okonkwo is a strong sleeper candidate at his current ADP; the source suggests that if he avoids competition from Zach Ertz, a TE16 finish is his floor, with potential for a career year.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveValue22:06

The source is bullish on Watson, identifying him as a high-upside player with a consolidated target share in Green Bay. He is a preferred target over DJ Moore in redraft formats, with the source suggesting Watson has more potential to 'crush' his ADP.

Insight page

Colby Parkinson

NegativeDepth Chart30:37

Colby Parkinson serves as the primary competition for Terrance Ferguson in the Rams' tight end room; the source notes that Ferguson must improve his run blocking to definitively overtake Parkinson for the starting role.

Insight page

D.J. Moore

NegativeValue36:46

The source expresses apprehension regarding DJ Moore as a smash value WR1 for Josh Allen, citing his 1.14 yards per route run from last year. The source prefers drafting other wide receivers in that ADP range, such as Christian Watson, Luther Burden, Davante Adams, or Jameson Williams, over Moore at his current WR27 price point.

Insight page

Dalton Kincaid

PositiveProjection37:06

Dalton Kincaid is viewed as a potential 'skeleton key' for fantasy football if he reaches an 82% route participation rate. Despite being a top-five tight end in efficiency metrics like targets per route run and fantasy points per route run, his ceiling has been capped by a 55% route share; the source is optimistic for a career year if he remains healthy.

Insight page

Daniel Bellinger

NegativeDepth Chart58:51

The source is unconcerned by Daniel Bellinger's presence on the depth chart, noting that while he followed coach Brian Daboll to the Giants, NFL teams rarely rely on just one tight end, minimizing the threat Bellinger poses to other tight ends.

Insight page

Davante Adams

PositiveValue38:35

The source lists Davante Adams as a player who scares them more than DJ Moore at wide receiver 27, implying Adams has higher upside and is a better value in that draft range.

Insight page

De'Zhaun Stribling

PositiveBreakout3:54

Davis Mattek views De'Jaun Stribling as a locked-in Week 1 starter for the 49ers due to team attrition; he suggests that despite a poor prospect profile, Stribling's price is rising and he could potentially lead the team in targets in 20% of scenarios. His outlook is contingent on the 49ers not bringing back Deebo Samuel, which would be catastrophic for his target share.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveUsage5:14

The source suggests that Deebo Samuel's presence on the 49ers roster would be catastrophic for the fantasy outlook of rookie wide receivers like Stribling, as it would likely consolidate target share.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeRole15:39

Boston is expected to serve as the deep threat in the Browns' offense, contrasting with teammates like Casey Concepcion who are utilized for ball-in-hand work like crossers, screens, and slants.

Insight page

George Kittle

NegativeInjury8:08

George Kittle is expected to play early in the season, which impacts the target distribution for other 49ers pass catchers.

Insight page

Gunnar Helm

PositiveBreakout55:02

Gunner Helm is a year-two breakout candidate at TE26 who saw 55 targets as a rookie; with Chig Okonkwo gone, Helm is positioned as a safety blanket for Cam Ward. His college production was suppressed by elite teammates, and his poor combine performance was attributed to a broken ankle, suggesting higher talent than his draft stock implies.

Insight page

Jacory Croskey-Merritt

PositiveBreakout40:00

The source is highly bullish on Jacquory Croskey-Merritt, identifying him as the best rusher on the Washington team and projecting him to be the lead rusher with 200-220 carries. The source argues his ability to generate explosive runs makes him a high-upside target, and that the coaching staff wants him to play more to maintain offensive flexibility.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

PositiveValue38:35

The source highlights Jameson Williams as a player with more potential to exceed expectations than DJ Moore, recommending him as a target in the same draft range.

Insight page

Jayden Reed

PositiveBreakout22:18

The source is highly bullish on a bounce-back season for Reed, noting that he is the player the source currently has the most exposure to in draft rooms and that many respected content creators share this positive outlook.

Insight page

Jordan Addison

NegativeValue8:41

Jordan Addison is noted as having a very high ADP, making him a sixth-round pick in upcoming formats.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeProjection18:06

The source expresses skepticism regarding Josh Jacobs, citing his age (29), recent knee injury, and potential suspension issues as reasons to fade him in drafts, despite previously suggesting he might avoid missing games.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveSleeper42:38

Keaton Mitchell is a high-upside sleeper hand-picked by Mike McDaniel, projected for 10 touches per game as a flex or spot starter; he maintains significant contingent upside should Omarian Hampton miss time, with approximately 185 touches available in the offense.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeValue4:28

Keenan Allen is mentioned as a potential trade target for the 49ers, suggesting a possible shift in his team context.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveValue40:57

The source slightly prefers Kenneth Gainwell over Rashaad White in late-round drafts, noting that while White has pass-catching experience, Gainwell remains a viable value option in the same tier.

Insight page

Luke Musgrave

NegativeInjury25:05

Luke Musgrave is currently sidelined with an injury, forcing Green Bay to rely on depth options at the tight end position.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue38:35

Luther Burden is identified by the source as a player who could crush his season, making him a more attractive draft option than DJ Moore at his current ADP.

Insight page

Matthew Golden

PositiveBreakout17:29

Golden is a high-upside breakout candidate and the most cost-adjusted value among Green Bay's wide receivers. Despite a 1.45 YPRR as a rookie, his production was suppressed by missed deep-ball opportunities from Jordan Love; he is a strong bounce-back candidate given the injury histories of Jayden Reed and Christian Watson, as well as the PUP status of Tucker Kraft.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeProjection8:07

Mike Evans is mentioned as an aging veteran at 32 years old, which the source uses to highlight the contingent upside for younger receivers on the roster.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout22:48

Cooper is a significant competitor to Adonai Mitchell for targets, bolstered by first-round draft capital and a national title pedigree at Indiana. The source views him as a more compelling narrative-driven prospect than Mitchell.

Insight page

Omarion Hampton

NegativeUsage43:55

Omarian Hampton is projected to potentially handle 250 touches in the offense, though the source notes there is still room for Keaton Mitchell to carve out a role with approximately 185 additional touches available.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveProjection1:44

Davis Mattek identifies Patrick Mahomes as the player whose final stat line would most impact his draft strategy; he notes that Mahomes is currently falling to the Kyler Murray and Jared Goff tier in drafts, which he considers a massive value for a quarterback of his caliber.

Insight page

Rachaad White

NegativeValue40:29

Rashaad White is currently being drafted neck-and-neck with Jacquory Croskey-Merritt, sitting at RB40 on Underdog. While the source drafts White in redraft formats, they express skepticism about his role as an early-down rusher compared to Croskey-Merritt and note a slight preference for Kenneth Gainwell in that same draft range.

Insight page

Ricky Pearsall

NegativeInjury4:07

The source advises that Ricky Pearsall is effectively undraftable following recent injury news, which has significantly impacted his availability and outlook for the upcoming season. He is currently considered a 'do not draft' player, serving as a benchmark for why other receivers like Stribling should be ranked higher.

Insight page

Stefon Diggs

NegativeValue4:28

Stefon Diggs is a potential trade target for the 49ers, though his current fantasy outlook is clouded by legal and uncertain circumstances. He is currently a good value at WR57, but his potential signing with Washington, Baltimore, or the Rams creates significant uncertainty for target distribution. His ADP is expected to rise once he signs with a team.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveBreakout28:53

Terrance Ferguson is a high-upside target in best ball formats due to his elite athleticism and potential to be used in a Tutu Atwell-esque role. While his redraft value is capped by competition with Colby Parkinson, he is a strong late-round pick in deep PPR formats.

Insight page
PositiveSleeper50:52

Terrence Ferguson is a high-upside sleeper at TE28 with significant athletic potential; he could see consistent usage in McVay's heavy personnel schemes, with fantasy value spiking if he secures a multi-touchdown game. He also offers contingent upside if Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, or Colby Parkinson miss time.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

PositiveRole23:26

McLaurin is established as the primary target and a foundational piece of the Washington Commanders' passing offense.

Insight page

Travis Kelce

PositiveValue2:01

Davis Mattek expresses increased bullishness on Travis Kelce, noting that his current ADP—which places him in the same range as Dalton Kincaid and Dallas Goedert—is an opportunity to acquire him at a discount.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

NegativeInjury25:16

Tucker Kraft's availability for Week 1 is uncertain due to injury, with the source noting potential concerns regarding his explosiveness upon return.

Insight page

Xavier Legette

NegativeProjection7:01

Xavier Legette is used as a historical comparison for rookie wide receiver performance, noting that despite being considered 'bad' by some, he still saw 84 targets and four touchdowns as a rookie.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveValue2:01

Davis Mattek is bullish on Xavier Worthy, highlighting that he is currently being drafted after players like Courtland Sutton and in the same range as Michael Pittman Jr., which represents a value for a player tied to Mahomes.

Insight page

Zach Ertz

PositiveRole23:49

Zach Ertz is viewed as a threat to Chig Okonkwo's target share and role in the Washington offense. The source notes that Ertz is not retiring and his continued presence on the team is a negative factor for Okonkwo's fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeProjection9:13

Zay Flowers is used as a player comparison for Casey Concepcion, with the source noting that Todd Monken now has another player with a similar profile.

0:05>> Breaking down must draft sleepers for the 2026 fantasy football season. I'm Theo Gramminger, lead fantasy analyst right here at RotoWire. Joined today by
0:14Davis Mattek. We have an awesome list of players to go over and none of these players cost much at all. Every single
0:21player listed here can be in your sort of end game strategy for your fantasy drafts. Maybe you're trying to mix in
0:28some best ball drafts. A lot of players on this list I think will cost you not a lot but could pay off in a major way.
0:35But Davis, one thing I'm starting to ask each and every guest that comes on this show, I pretty much I want to ask
0:40everyone this one cuz it's such a great question. If you could know the final stats of any player in fantasy this
0:47year, who would it be?
0:49>> So I think the right answer is you pick the Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver you feel you have the least information
0:55on. Parker Washington, Travis Etienne, BTJ. Probably not Jacobi, we probably know his. My selfish answer though, I'm going to answer in terms of what I don't
1:04think is like game theory correct but for me, I would love to know Mahomes' final stat line. Like if he's 3800
1:10passing yards, 22 passing touchdowns, my draft strategy would certainly change. If it was 4400 yards, 36 passing touchdowns, my draft strategy would
1:21change a lot. I mean, I would get even more bullish on really Kelce and Worthy cuz they're I mean, they're they're
1:27free, you know, they're they're Zay Jones and Worthy are going after Courtland Sutton and you know, same range as Michael Pittman Jr. Travis
1:34Kelce going with like Kincaid and Goedert and stuff like that.
1:37And and I feel like you're getting also a lot of late information about Walker as well cuz if Mahomes has a good
1:43season, I think it locks in a good season for for Walker. So one of those two.
1:47>> Mahomes is a great answer and I haven't heard that one yet but it makes a lot of sense and Mahomes, it's funny because
1:53it's like a disconnect where if you're drafting in best ball, you're seeing Mahomes consistently at like that QB 11, QB 12, but if you're drafting in
2:02redraft, he falls sometimes to like >> round 14 Mahomes we saw the other day um in an FFPC main event and in an NFFC
2:10he's falling as well. He's falling down to like the Kyler Murray, Jared Goff tier and we're talking about Patrick Mahomes like
2:19arguably the best fantasy football quarterback we've ever seen at certain points of his career. So, I think that's a >> Great, great answer. Uh so, we're
2:26breaking down sleepers today. Uh we've got players at each and every position, but I think we're getting all this recent training camp news and sometimes
2:34Davis, the price of a brick goes up and it's certainly going to be the case with De'Jaun Strbling, rookie wide receiver
2:40out of the San Francisco 49ers. It's been an unbelievable run out for him in terms of attrition with San Francisco.
2:47We've already seen Christian Kirk basically banged up like always and then Ricky Pearsall is pretty much a guy that we >> can't draft anymore with this recent
2:57injury news. Strbling looks like he could be on the field in two wide receiver sets like from the jump and the
3:03there's been positivity coming out of training camp as well. He's a polarizing player in the fantasy community, but do we need to just sort of get over any
3:11draft priors and just start drafting him?
3:14>> Yeah, I mean, I'm probably more willing to give up like to just be like, well, the the prospect profile is no good than
3:24any of my other, you know, fantasy football brethren. Like get into this with like Jacob all the time. Like Worthy, Golden, these bad profiles with
3:32the draft capital. I mean, Strbling very different style of profile, but still not a a good profile.
3:39To me, I'm like, yeah, we can have we can have like some degree of certainty. Like Gretch calls it like the 60/40 rule. Like sure, maybe we can
3:47explain 60% of his profile, but a lot a bit going to be unknowable. We were talking about a guy who I think is just
3:53going to be a locked-in week one starter for the San Francisco 49ers.
3:59With George Kittle also maybe banged up, like it might be Tanj just in there.
4:02Like Evans is 33 coming off of an injury-filled season. I mean, there's like a a very real circumstance. Like it's I don't know. I'd have to handicap it
4:11like, I don't know, 20% of the time De'Shawn Shivers leads the 49ers receivers in targets or something, 20% given all of the other injuries on that
4:19team. That They might bring Deebo back.
4:21That's actually one thing that's kind of interesting with the the cavalcade of injuries here might make them more likely to bring Deebo back. You know,
4:28Lynch might have called Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen. Like maybe it's a little bit more possible now.
4:35But one thing I've anecdotally noticed over the years, and this has kind of been backed up to me, is risers tend to not rise enough. We
4:44get so anchored to the ADPs that we've been looking at for, you know, months and months and months that risers don't rise enough. And and a lot
4:51of times fallers also do not fall enough. So, that's kind of where I'm at with Shivers right now.
4:55>> It's really interesting, and I think that people were like trying to trying to like bash the 49ers at first, and
5:01then we had like the sort of like big correction when we had were in dynasty rookie draft season. And even now, wide
5:09receiver 65 on Underdog, that's a number that I think will rise up. But I think you're absolutely right. It's like how
5:14high can that number rise? Deebo Samuel would be kind of catastrophic for this take. But if Deebo doesn't end up there,
5:20or something shocking like a Stefon Diggs or a trade, then I think Shivers is in a fantastic spot. He was drafted
5:2633rd overall. The team loves him. There was a bunch of other uh sort of NFL draft experts who came out and said that
5:34if Shivers didn't go to 49ers at 33, he would have gone in the top 40. So, he was like a looked like a top 40 pick
5:40regardless of landing in San Francisco.
5:42And it's like there's parallels with the beat reporters with some of the stuff he does with some of the stuff Brandon and
5:47I you could do. So, it's really interesting and we we love Brock Purdy's ability and efficiency.
5:546'2" 207 and he runs a 4.36 40. I mean, the dude's an absolute monster athletically. So, I think that's a really really fun way to kind of get us
6:02started. Where do you like when you talk about where he should rise up to? When you're looking at sort of like let's take
6:09underdog ADP. Ricky Pearsall was wide receiver 47. Stribling was wide receiver 65. Where should Stribling end up now that Pearsall is like in the do not
6:21draft list?
6:23>> So, I moved Stribling up in my rankings to the 120s.
6:28>> Okay, there we go.
6:28>> I I think I I I moved him I actually moved him one spot below Casey Concepcion, who we are also going to
6:36talk about. And I just I see very little argument against it. Like Jaylen Coker, Rashid Shaheed, I mean, Diggs we'll probably talk about. He's going to
6:44move up whenever he signs. But right now, you know, the the Diggs stuff there's legal stuff, there's weird stuff going on with Diggs. So, like who knows?
6:51I I just don't see like you have to have a higher degree of confidence than I have in our ability to truly know how
6:59good these rookie players are.
7:01Like you know what a bet that's kind of similar to me. We did this 2 years ago with Xavier Legette where we were pretty
7:06sure he was bad. And Xavier Legette was a starting player as a rookie. I mean, he was not particularly good in fantasy
7:13football. Big guy, but he had 84 targets and four touchdowns. So, like he's not any good and he was playing for a
7:19Panthers team that didn't really have a quarterback and that also had, you know, Adam Thielen was like the targets per route run guy that year for them.
7:27I why if he's oh if you could run it back with Legette on the the Kyle Shanahan 49ers, wouldn't you take him in
7:35the 120s? I mean, I certainly would.
7:37>> Yeah, I think you just nailed it. It's sort of the like having Shanahan and Purdy connected to you as opposed to
7:44like the abyss of some of these other teams where like The Athletic just came out with an article today where it was
7:50like the top play callers in the NFL and it's like every single year it's Kyle Shanahan or Sean McVay at the top and it's
7:58Shanahan at the very top this year. So we talk about Stribling, you've also have have like further contingent upside with Stribling where Mike Evans is 32
8:08years old and George Kittle uh looks like he's going to play early on in the year, but like you mentioned Tanjas.
8:14Tanjas is is very different than than Kittle. So I feel like Stribling has so many outs to return value.
8:21Um you're saying that he should go 30 spots higher and I think you might be right after the Purdy news. So really
8:28interesting stuff. Uh nice professional segue from you to sort of tee up our next guy. Let's talk about Casey Conceicao. This is a much easier uh
8:37narrative for a lot of people to get into. We love drafting rookie wide receivers.
8:41Uh you've got Jordan Addison, Carnell Tate. They're they're very high in ADP.
8:45Each will be sixth-round picks when we get to Vegas for FFPC and NFFC. Then you've got Makai Lemon who I think the
8:52drumbeats will be good for him this summer. It's sort of an easy one to make an argument for the number two wide
8:57receiver in Philly. Then you got Casey Conceicao and I like so many Browns right now, but we're scared to death about the quarterback situation. This is
9:06an opportunity for an entry point for a really talented player. Uh we compared him to Zay Flowers in the in the draft
9:13process and now it's Todd Monken has another Zay Flowers type player. Talk about your enthusiasm levels for KCC.
9:20Where should he be being drafted uh and how much exposure to him do you want?
9:25>> I mean, I'm very certain that Casey Conceicao is good. Most recent thing from Browns camp, Todd Monken said today is like I'm pretty sure we'll decide on
9:32a starting quarterback by week one.
9:35Not really what you want to be hearing if you have big investments in Fanon and Concepcion. I mean Boston in Best Ball,
9:40Judkins, Samson, one of the better like running back two clicks, I think. I mean if we can just if we could grind out
9:46Shaddur being the 22nd best quarterback in football, there's definitely a chance that we get like a really strong seasons out of multiple of these guys, but
9:55to me it's just quite unfortunate that Concepcion landed with the Browns cuz I I actually would have loved to be in the hot take guy if Concepcion
10:03went to like Dallas or Kansas City or the Rams or something like that. Like I would have loved to be like, "I actually
10:11think Concepcion might have a better rookie year than Jordan Tyson." Like I would have been that guy. It's hard for me to get there
10:17in the Browns offensive environment, but I'm quite certain that Concepcion is very good. He's like awesome with the ball in hand stuff, which I think is
10:25going to be big for them in that offense. Like Judy and Denzel Boston are not going to be ball in hand guys, so
10:31the Zay Flowers style like crossers, screens, slants, hitches, I think that's going to be Concepcion's stuff in this offense. It'll probably be Boston
10:40who ends up being like the deep threat guy. I mean we'll see what ends up happening with Jerry Jeudy if he even
10:44ends the season on the Cleveland Browns, but we are getting this huge discount to the point that you know, in these FFPC main events I'm
10:53doing with Jacob and these guys like we're probably just going to take him every time cuz you're getting him in like the 12th round in in these drafts
11:00and it's like, "Who am I going to take?
11:01Casey Concepcion or Khalil Shakir?" Like I'm going to take Concepcion.
11:06>> Yeah, it's you make a great argument.
11:08We're getting this huge bad team discount and the player is just an electric talent. Um and Casey Concepcion sort of profiles like a lot of the guys
11:17that have hit for us in a major way in fantasy football. He's a great route runner. He's electric with the ball in
11:23his hands. You're going to see um you're going to see multiple like play callers try to scheme him up. And if you look
11:28back to his freshman season at NC State, he had like 41 rush attempts. They they got the ball in his hands like over and
11:35over and over again.
11:37Um I'm into it. I think Kasey Kancey owns a really really strong target. Even if you're really into Harold Fannin, even if you like Denzel Boston like I
11:45do, um Kasey Kancey owns the first round pick. He's the only guy uh there with that sort of pedigree when we remove
11:52sort of Jerry Jeudy from the argument.
11:54Um and the Browns drafted really well last year. I think that we need to start trusting the decision-making that they make. They had like multiple hits
12:02including Fannin who was a third-rounder. I think Quintez Cephus for a second-rounder uh displayed some real talent as well. Um and I think that
12:10betting on KCC to be the next one is just a natural. Uh Davis, what do you have going on this time of year with uh
12:17with all the content you're putting out?
12:20>> Some streaming every single day doing the doing the best ball stuff over on the Davis Maddock channel. New video every single day on the Maddock Fantasy
12:27Football channel. So that is just your redraft stuff. If you don't care about all of our best ball drafts, you don't
12:31want to do any of that, head on over there. We've got ADP chasing. We've got ship chasing. If you if you want to hear
12:37my thoughts on football in a given day, I promise you you search my name on YouTube, you're going to be able to find me yapping uh
12:44every every single day.
12:45>> Yeah, I recommend all Davis's stuff. We podcasted together a bunch of times. And if you're loving videos and podcasts like this, you're going to love what I'm
12:53doing over at rotowire.com. I'm updating my rankings daily, dropping strategy articles, and then we have in-season waiver wire coming especially if you're
13:02a NFFC FFPC uh player. I'm going to be doing a high-stakes waiver wire column throughout the season. Uh not just me,
13:09but also Ian Hartitz is doing some awesome content over at rotowire. Uh and I'm going to give you 20% off right now
13:15if you sign up today. Use the code Theo20 and you get 20% off of rotowire.com. Davis, let's uh keep this thing going. We talked about a couple of
13:24wide receivers. Let's keep it going actually and stick at the wide receiver position. And you know, we're hearing a ton of bullish
13:31stuff on Christian Watson. We're hearing a lot of like content creators that I respect a lot that are that are very
13:38much in on a Jayden Reed bounce back.
13:40And I think you can be in on both of those guys and still want to have some exposure to Matthew Golden who was a
13:48pretty much a zero last year, but the vibes are strong for a potential year two breakout season. Jayden Reed never gets on the field in in two wide
13:57receiver sets, and it feels like Green Bay everything's going to be consolidated between those three wide receivers. So, Golden's interesting.
14:06What you you were targeting him this year? Are you looking to have the most exposure to Golden based on the cost of
14:12these three players or you kind of mixing it up with your Green Bay exposure?
14:17>> You know, funnily enough, I think it's just kind of like a dynamic of draft rooms. Jayden Reed is the one I have the
14:22most of, but Golden is definitely the one that I like the most cost adjusted.
14:26I like his profile for best ball in the sense that I do expect there probably are going to be some follow periods for
14:32him cuz I think he'll probably lead the team in average depth of target even ahead of Watson. But really all three of
14:38them are honestly probably pretty great picks based on their chance. They're to me they're all kind of small miss big hit players where they're all going to
14:46play.
14:47The wide receiver coach has talked about this. LaFleur has talked about it. They really did make a concerted effort for the first time that LaFleur has been the
14:54coach to trim the fat in the wide receiver room. They're not going to be running these guys out for 55% of
14:59routes. We're not going to see Bo Melton sneaking 25% of the routes. There's not going to be any Malik Heath. Their
15:04backup tight end right now, Luke Musgrave, is actually out injured. So, if they did want to do 12 personnel, they'd have to be playing like legit
15:12bums like John Fitzpatrick and Ben Sims.
15:14Like not even guys they've drafted. So, I think and Tucker Kraft like is maybe going to be active for week one, but
15:20we'll see which again tilts more stuff in favor. Josh Jacobs is in his age 29 season coming back from the knee injury,
15:27also like weird suspension stuff there, so it might be Marshaun Lloyd leading the backfield. All of which just to me contextually says
15:35there's like 317 targets to go between these three guys, and I was not nearly as down on Golden's profile, again, as as a lot of my fellow
15:46prospect bros, for a combination of reasons. The first being we've seen so many wide receivers from the University of Texas not flourish in that offense and then be
15:58valued very highly by NFL teams that I'm led to believe there's something there that NFL teams are seeing that the Texas
16:04coaches are not seeing. And it might just be that these guys are all really fast. Like it could be. It could be that
16:09simple. Also, I I pulled these the two videos up yesterday on ship chasing.
16:15Golden's yards per route run was fine as a rookie. He was like 1.45, which is not great, but it's not career-ending.
16:23Jordan Love two times missed him on what would have been 95-plus yard touchdowns. The first one was it was against the Browns in a
16:31game they lost. Jordan Love like let him out of bounds, so it was only like a 38-yard gain. The other one, Golden just
16:37skint the defensive back against the Commanders. I mean, he was 5 yards past the defense and Love just overthrew him on what legitimately would have been a
16:4399-yard touchdown. Either of those plays come through, and Golden is going ahead of Christian Watson in drafts this year, like cuz his stat line is that much
16:52better.
16:53>> Yeah, I I there it was like a couple of like felt like the weird big plays.
16:58Great great great point you're making there. And I just stick with Golden.
17:02It's It's an interesting dynamic because I think a lot of people wrote him off, and I I remember being sort of a a
17:07pro-Golden guy, and I I remember getting into it with like uh Packer and Rich Rebar on some of these shows and Scott
17:15Barrett a bunch of times, and hey, I took my lumps last year, but I'm still keeping a candle burning. He was the
17:2123rd overall pick and in the 2025 draft, it was the first time Green Bay took a wide receiver in the first round since
17:292002 and the vibe seemed to be good right now. So I'm into it. I think Golden could end up being a big bounce back guy
17:37and you know, you talk about Jayden Reed, talk about Christian Watson. Reed missed time last year. Watson's missed time in multiple times in his career and
17:44like you said with Tucker Kraft, he's on the pup right now. There's a lot of positivity saying he'll be there in week
17:49one, but we don't know and there's a chance of re-aggravation and will he have the same level of explosiveness that we saw last year. So I think the
17:57team getting Matthew Golden actively involved makes sense and then just from a Green Bay perspective, even regardless of of Josh Jacobs,
18:06you know, and I think Josh Jacobs is going to dodge anything this year.
18:10That's just my kind of the way I'm playing it in drafts.
18:13I I I agree with that.
18:14>> I'm I can >> drafted him in a main event and took a little heat for that one, but I all I'll
18:18keep doing it. I think it's more likely than not that no news is good news and Jacobs, I think that if I had to bet on
18:25it, he doesn't miss any games this year unless he gets injured.
18:28But it's a player that is an older running back and also Green Bay's got to change things up a little bit. They
18:35LaFleur has a lot of pressure on him to get this team going, make a deep playoff run and challenge for a Super Bowl.
18:42They've had back-to-back really disappointing playoff losses. Last year was the close one to Chicago. Year before that was the blowout to Philly.
18:50So things have got to be a little bit more balanced and maybe the give Josh Jacobs the ball every single time they
18:55can. I think you could see a little bit increased Jordan Love and and that could be a benefit to Matthew Golden. So I'm
19:01into that one. Let's keep talking about wide receivers. One player that I wanted to talk to you about that I think is is
19:09very interesting and I I you're into as well. This is a little bit more of a deep sleeper. Uh if you're in some
19:15redraft formats, he might not get drafted at all, but it feels like a player that could get added early on.
19:20You can just see him being one of like the big waiver wire adds in a lot of these leagues like early on. Adonai
19:27Mitchell ended the season very well last year. Second-round draft capital, you talk about Texas wide receivers. Uh Indianapolis, the guy flashed, but the
19:37coaching staff obviously did he did him, it seemed like. Shipped him off for for the Sauce Gardner in the Sauce Gardner deal as like a throw-in.
19:45Um and last year he ended the year well with seeing a ton of target volume as the season ended for New York. And then
19:52this off season, the Jets go out, get Geno Smith, but then they draft Omar Cooper, they draft Kenyon Seddik, and Adonai Mitchell's just sitting there at
20:01wide receiver 70. So, he's free in pretty much every format. I've been drafting him in like the 15th, 16th round in a lot of these redraft leagues.
20:10Your thoughts on Adonai Mitchell uh and his potential this year. It feels like a dark horse candidate to be the second
20:17highest target earner in New York and it kind of an Alec Pierce type profile of a guy who can get there with big plays
20:24down the field, long touchdowns. Um and again, the the pedigree is there uh draft capital wise and athletically.
20:31>> I mean, the deal with Adonai Mitchell is that no one really ever disagrees that he is awesome at football. That if he
20:39was to be like super concentrated and locked in, he would be one of the better wide receivers, you know, our our uh
20:45friends over at Fantasy Points have all the fancy data. He's like top 10 in all of the separation metrics and all of
20:50those things. He got traded away from the Indianapolis Colts like more or less in a fit of rage. I mean, what happened?
20:56The Jets actually quite intelligent. I'm sure they called about Sauce Gardner and I'm sure one You know what? I guarantee this, actually. I I I bet my bottom
21:05dollar one of the Jets analytic staffers got wind of this trade being discussed, sends an email, whatever, sends it up the chain like, "Hey, I bet they'll give
21:13us Adonai Mitchell in this trade for nothing."
21:15>> You saying they they had a they had a Jonah Hill? This was the Billy Bean and then the Jonah Hill guy jumped up and
21:21said throw get us Adonai?
21:23>> there there was someone. I I I would I would seriously bet my bottom dollar that this is what happened. Someone in
21:28that building said, "You know what? I bet they're just so pissed off." Cuz remember, he was a healthy scratch the game before he got traded. So, I bet
21:35what happened was they say, "Oh, this guy like in our tracking metrics, the fancy stuff we have." Cuz they have all
21:40the data from the pads and everything. I bet they go, "You know, if we get this guy in our building, we can turn him
21:45into one of the 20 best receivers in the league, right?" And they get him in the building.
21:50He has some hilarious drops because of course he does cuz he's Adonai Mitchell.
21:54Also has probably the highlight play of the season, scores like a 60-yard touchdown where he like gets the ball around the defender, lands on his butt
22:02in the end zone. Like, he's so so good.
22:05Do I think that Adonai Mitchell can stay focused for an entire season, earn 140 targets? Absolutely not. There's there's no way. There will be a four-week
22:13stretch where people are like, "Is this guy better than Garrett Wilson? This guy's scoring more fantasy points per game in October, you know, whatever, than than
22:22Garrett Wilson?"
22:24Um and you just got to hope you get him in the right weeks cuz pretty you're you What'll happen, Theo, is like it'll be
22:29week eight, there'll be a bye, you know, one of my Rashee Rice will miss a game with like an ankle sprain and I'll be
22:34like, "All right, we're going to we're going to toss him in. We're going to put him in."
22:37And he's going to get open on the first play from scrimmage and like drop a slant and then not pay attention for the
22:43rest of the game and just be cooked at that point. Um but it'll be it'll be fun. It'll be a fun odyssey to go on
22:47with Adonai Mitchell.
22:48>> Yeah, he's he's just so cheap and it's a bet on talent situation. Omar Cooper, you know, obviously, he's competing now
22:56with a first-round pick. New York traded back into the first round to get Omar Cooper. And Cooper was like uh kind of
23:03connected to them with the 16th overall pick. So, obviously Cooper is a big challenge to Adonai. Um Cooper, you get the guy who won the national title at
23:11Indiana, first-round draft capital. It's sort of a better narrative to try to sell Omar Cooper. But Adonai, year three, just a really fun one. And if
23:20we're wrong on this one, you can just cut him in any redraft format cuz again, he's going to cost you like a 15th, 16th
23:26round pick. Let's talk about the Washington Commanders. And you have Terry McLaurin who who obviously is going to be a huge part of
23:34the team. Then you've got this kind of ambiguity as who the number two target will be. And you've it's created sort of
23:41a ADP steam where Chig Okonkwo has moved up. He's like tight end 16. That's a pretty easy kind of sell with what Zach
23:49Ertz had attached to Jayden Daniels and sort of a Chig Okonkwo being pretty good player, athletically gifted, uh can do some things YAC-wise. Then you've got
23:58Antonio Williams, the third-round wide receiver out of Clemson, where there's been some positive buzz with him early on in training camp.
24:05I'm kind of into drafting both of these guys, but then we've got the Stefon Diggs sort of hanging over our heads
24:11here. Uh Diggs is is a really good pick right now, wide receiver 57. How are you handling the
24:19Washington secondary pass catchers? Um and are you just kind of sort of scared to death by Stefon Diggs landing spot sort of ruining multiple narratives
24:28here, or are you trying to mix in exposure to these guys?
24:31>> No, I'm jamming Chig cuz I don't really see too much competition for his routes.
24:36I mean, maybe Bynum Senate finally, year three. I I mean, >> No.
24:40>> I would love it. I I don't I don't feel I don't feel real enthusiastic about it.
24:44There also is the specter of Zach Ertz returning to the team. He's threatening.
24:48He's not retiring. Zach Ertz is saying, "I want to I want to play football again. I'm going to be ready." So, I
24:52guess you're you're fading that. Of the two things though, I I mean, Antonio Williams to me is like a pretty fine prospect. I got no issue
25:01with him. I'm not like targeting him or or against him or anything like that.
25:05I am just like I would almost say it's like a certainty that Deebo Diggs Maybe Aiyuk Maybe there's still like a
25:143% chance that Brandon Aiyuk signs with the team. Although, um forget his name, but there was a press conference yesterday and the guy that one of the
25:21one of the uh Commanders reporters asked him, you know, "How much are you guys looking at social media of new potential
25:27signings to evaluate?" And everyone laughs and he goes, "Well, usually it's a small part of what we do. I do say
25:32usually, though." Uh the subtext being, "Yeah, dude, we're not bringing Brandon Aiyuk in if he's like still having a full-on psychotic break." Um so
25:41but it's going to be someone. Uh honestly, at this point, I might make Deebo the favorite to come in because Diggs also brings in
25:48his own issues. Like Diggs is a spiky personality uh that has certainly rubbed many of his teammates the wrong way. So, maybe you
25:55don't even Maybe maybe it's not even Diggs.
25:57>> It It feels like like Diggs kind of positioned himself to be a Raven or a Commander. He's training at University
26:04of Maryland where he played. He's down in the DMV where he played high school football and he's from. Um it feels like Diggs ending up in
26:12Washington, it's just it's like a almost like a foregone conclusion, but I think you bring up the point that maybe they just don't want to
26:19deal with it. And I think a lot of like do they bring in Stefon Diggs is dependent on how Antonio Williams does.
26:26Um so, I think he's got some outs, but I think you make a great point on on Okonkwo where he's priced so well. Um if
26:34he avoids a Zach Ertz, tight end 16 feels kind of like a floor. Jayden Daniels, I know we know he targeted Ertz
26:41like 20% of the time. Um it feels like this could be like a career year for Chig Okonkwo. And we always see a few
26:49guys in like the tight end two range or lower beat their ADP significantly. So, I think Chig is probably the one, but
26:56Diggs we're going to keep an eye on.
26:57What are some other situations where you could see Stefon Diggs ending up at? Is there any potential like shock landing spot for Diggs that you could see just
27:06rattling everybody maybe in the next in like 2 weeks from now we get Diggs signing with this team and everybody's like, "Oh my gosh, a bunch of these guys
27:14are going to be kind of messed up for fantasy."
27:17>> I mean, the Chiefs would be a huge wrinkle. Obviously, that that one has been rumored. Another one that I haven't
27:24heard too much chatter on would be the Rams. The Rams third wide receiver right now is Cannondale Mumphield, Xavier Smith, or Jordan Winningham. Terrance
27:33Ferguson if you believe me. But, Diggs would kind of fit their mold of like, you know, don't need this guy to be a
27:40full-time player. Don't need this guy to run block too much. We we have all the tight ends for that. And that would be
27:46really bad for Adams and and also quite bad for um my guy Terrance Ferguson. But, that one, you know, they're they're in ring
27:53chasing mode. So, I would I would believe it.
27:55>> Yeah, it's we're going to keep an eye on Stefon Diggs. It's sort of the We've we've had all sorts of like surprises on
28:01the injury front. Maybe we get a shocking surprise landing spot for Stefon Diggs. And that was a great you know, I kind of teed you up for a nice
28:09professional segue there um with Terrance Ferguson, but you could have said the wide receiver three is Terrance Ferguson because we've had multiple beat reporters sort
28:18of saying that Ferguson could be used like that. He's super interesting.
28:22You're talking about elite athleticism, was a second-round pick last year in 2025 where we had sort of the year of the tight end, sort of the
28:31transformative year at the tight end position in dynasty with guys like Colston Loveland, Tyler Warren, Harold Fannin Jr. And then you've got Ferguson
28:41who was quiet last year, but we saw the Rams finish first in tight end touchdown catches and they were fourth in tight
28:50end targets overall with Sean McVay using all this 12 and 13 personnel.
28:55Ferguson could end up being just the most productive tight end there, which is interesting. But if they really are going to use him sort of in like a like
29:04a Tutu Atwell role esque, that would be unbelievable and he's like tight end 28. Talk about your enthusiasm level for him. Just how how many
29:14Terrance Ferguson shares do you want to get to? How much exposure for him?
29:19>> I would I mean it's kind of it's kind of interesting, right? Because he's clearly a very good best ball pick. I'm a little worried
29:29that he ends up being frustrating for redraft in the sense that he kind of has a cap on how many targets he can earn
29:37per game or routes he can earn per game without clearly beating Colby Parkinson out for Colby Parkinson's job. And to clearly beat Colby Parkinson out for his
29:46job, he probably has to really improve as a run blocker, which he he might not cuz you know, the whole deal and the
29:53reason why McVay has loved this stuff is he loves to do loves to be able to pass out of 12 and run out of 12. He just
29:59wants to be able to be multiple. And Ferguson gives you that varying skill set cuz he's not a horrible run blocker, but his ability to
30:08be a deep threat pass catcher out of those sets is is super important. So I'm definitely going to keep hammering him
30:13in best ball.
30:15I would say if we get any kind of like oh, you know T Ferg's our guy like he like I mean I
30:23guess honestly McVay's basically said that he's going to play all the positions in the offense, all of our tight end positions, all of our wide
30:28receiver positions. He is a really really really good at that PC main event pick.
30:33>> Yeah, I think you nailed it. If you're in tight end premium, you could take him as your your tight end three. But even
30:38if you're in just a regular redraft league that's like deep like NFFC, regular old PPR format, mixing him in just to see. You get the the free look
30:47game early on with the Rams 49ers and >> look is so big.
30:52>> Terrence Ferguson two touchdown free look game, how excited would you be Davis? You could just see it. Maybe that's the best game he has all year,
31:00catches two touchdown passes in that one. The ADP steams up, Davis Mattek is celebrating about it.
31:06And people end up spending Isaiah Likely as fab bids on him.
31:11There could be a number of run outs here. I'll also ask you like this, when we look at sort of the McVay heavy
31:17personnel usage, I think a lot of people are are assuming it's similar. Maybe it's not I think the one sort of wild card for Ferguson is
31:26it's not a finished product. And you have McVay having a full off season of saying this worked for us in the in
31:33heavy, but we can do this this year. And maybe it could be just increased and a little bit more consistent usage for
31:40this like mega athlete in Terrence Ferguson.
31:44It's just a player that I feel like he he has a number of ways to provide value.
31:49And then also we could bring up like the contingent upside of Skribbling. If Puka Nacua missed time or if Devante Adams
31:56missed time or if like you said a Colby Parkinson missed time, Ferguson could benefit from like the the targets tightening and maybe more like increased
32:06potential wide receiver usage. So, I'm just trying to paint myself a narrative that he could pay off because so enticing athletic athletically and then
32:14the tight end 28 price tag.
32:17>> [snorts] >> I'm completely I'm completely with you.
32:20I mean tight end tight end 28 led all tight ends in average depth of target last year. Coach said he's a stud. You
32:28know, it it's kind of interesting like the way people choose to interpret the Max pir pick cuz you can interpret it as
32:34oh they spent a second round pick on a tight end like clearly they can't be that enthused about what they have. Or
32:39you can interpret it the other way, which is the way I chose to, which is McVay loves this 12, he loves this 13
32:45stuff, he doesn't want to give it up, he views tight ends as super important. So even having four guys in the room that
32:51he trusts is not enough, and he wanted to add a fifth guy in. It's not like we're killing Matt Stafford cuz they
32:56took Ty Simpson, you know, in the in the in the in the first round.
33:00>> Yeah, no, it's a it's a great point.
33:02Let's uh let's talk about another year two tight end, and and this is an interesting one. Tight end 26, Gunner Helm, who last year had 44 catches as a
33:10rookie. Um and he's been a guy that's been earning praise from like the beat reporters. Uh a lot of attention obviously to Carnell Tate, who I love,
33:19Wan'Dale Robinson, and then you've got guys like Ihmir Smith-Marsette entering year two, who had some pretty strong usage. Calvin Ridley still there, but
33:27Gunner Helm, uh obviously Chig Okonkwo is gone now. Helm feels like a player whose role could be expanded and a little bit more consistent. 55 targets
33:37last year as a rookie, and he's sort of the opposite of Terrance Ferguson. He had a horrible NFL combine. He was
33:45injured, still ran the 40, and had a 484 uh 40-yard dash, which obviously pushed him down. So he went a lot later than a
33:52lot of people anticipated. Um but this feels like it could be a year where the production could really, really increase for him as sort of a safety blanket uh
34:02for Cam Ward in this offense.
34:06>> I'm completely with you. I mean, uh Helm is kind of like he's like the the unsexy version of the Ferguson bet, where he
34:12went higher in the NFL draft than anyone would have expected him to last year.
34:16Got on the field right away, 40% of the snaps in his first NFL game. Chig is gone, Daboll comes in. Daboll has
34:23actually kind of loved to use tight ends in the passing game, and he's actually ran more base 12 uh over the most recent
34:30couple of years than than the average guy. He was actually kind early to the base 12 step. Although part of that was
34:34probably because the Giants offense was so brutal and they they didn't have very many good wide receivers, but Helm also again, just the prospect profile very
34:44interesting where he had the he played with all first round guys. I mean go look at the go look at Helm's
34:51offensive teammates. It's like Adonai Mitchell, Xavier Worthy, Jordan Whittington who got drafted, Bijan Robinson, Jonathon Brooks, like all guys who got drafted. Kind of hard to kind of
35:00hard to really stand out if you're playing with a bunch of first round, second round guys. And then didn't even get a chance to to put up a good RAS cuz
35:07he broke his ankle at the combine. He he his very first 40, he freaking broke his ankle. So I I I just
35:15to me, it's like can he be a K Dotton with a little bit of unknown upside?
35:20Like he's like the um you know, it could be anything, even a boat. He could be anything, even K Dotton. But he could I it's the devil
35:28you don't know versus the devil that uh that you do know.
35:31>> Do you care at all that Daniel Bellinger's there and this is like a follows Daboll over guy?
35:37Um again, Bellinger's nothing special, but you always wonder when you follow the coach that coached you before to the next job narrative. Uh certainly with
35:47Wan'Dale Robinson, it's easy, but Bellinger sitting there on that depth chart.
35:53>> I don't really care cuz you're you're you're never just going to have one tight end, right? It's like it's like uh
35:58it's every time we freak out when a team, you know, we have we have these young running backs we like and then a
36:03veteran running back signs and you're like, oh.
36:05I mean there's no way Ashton Denty can play third downs if he Mostert's on the roster, you know? Like you can't you
36:11can't go into a season with one tight end. Uh and I'm sure Bellinger was happy to to follow his guy, Daboll, and and
36:17get paid some money.
36:19>> The highest pedigreed tight end on the list is Dalton Kincaid who is now tight end 12 on Underdog. Uh Kincaid is now
36:27healthy and the PCL thing last year. We go back to 2023 at 73 catches.
36:34Was a first round pick and it felt like like this was Buffalo's answer to Travis Kelce. Steamed up in ADP heading into 2024. Big ADP bust.
36:46Last year sort of didn't really return value.
36:48Missed some time. But he did have five touchdown catches. It sort of feels like this year feels like the year for
36:55Kincaid where there's optimism internally and his target competition in terms of the wide receivers is DJ Moore who some people love but I have a little
37:06bit of apprehension on DJ Moore coming in and just being a smash value as Josh Allen's wide receiver one. I feel like
37:12it's a little bit wishful thinking.
37:15Kincaid sort of in an appealing range and could end up having a career year this year. Your thoughts on him?
37:22>> If we get Dalton Kincaid running 82% of the routes for the Buffalo Bills, yeah, I mean he is probably going to be one of
37:28the absolute skeleton keys of the year in fantasy football. I would I would guess. I mean, I would have a hard time
37:35seeing any other way that goes. I mean, he's top five in the NFL in targets per route run, first downs per route run,
37:41fantasy points per route run amongst tight ends. The issue is is that he just consistently is only run about 55% of
37:47the routes for the Buffalo Bills. Part of that has been injury. Seems like he is fully healthy as of now. And I mean,
37:54we could definitely get we could get an ill-timed, you know, oh, Dalton Kincaid working off to the side with trainers type report, which
38:02honestly in his case would make me feel differently because if it's setting up a year for him to get managed, then
38:12it's going to be we're we're going to get what we've always got with him, more or less. So, I am very worried about
38:18that. But I mean, DJ Moore 1.14 yards per route run last year. So, I I just if he's great for fantasy this year, I
38:27will be I will be surprised.
38:29>> Yeah, I've talked about DJ Moore. I mean, I've I've mixed in some DJ Moore in Best Ball on Josh Allen builds.
38:35But in terms of like redraft, I haven't been clicking the button. I just look at And this is we're talking sleepers, not
38:41to get too DJ Moore, but like I look at the wide receivers going right ahead of DJ Moore and the wide receivers going
38:46right behind him. And I'm like, I don't think DJ Moore is going to have a season that's going to crush me, but I think
38:53there's a couple guys in that range that absolutely could. Like missing out on a Christian Watson, um a a Luther Burden, a Davante Adams, like a
39:02Jameson Williams. Those kind of guys scare me a lot more than DJ Moore at wide receiver 27. And if we're not
39:09betting on DJ Moore, then I think we should be betting on Dalton Kincaid.
39:14Um this feels like it could be the year.
39:15And we have already seen a 73 catch season. You brought up all the advanced metrics sort of support him. And it like
39:22you said, it's it's just getting the appropriate amount of snaps to to convert, and I think we're there. So, really really fun discussion there uh at
39:30tight end. Let's talk about running back. And let's start off with Jacquory Croskey-Merritt, who I mean, [snorts] I talked about him all
39:37summer last year and ended up getting a a pretty strong end of season stats. I I don't think the final stats sort of
39:44tell, you know, the story. But if we look at the counting stats, he had 800 rushing yards. He had eight touchdowns.
39:51Now, everybody seems to be gravitating towards Rashaad White in terms of the content creators that I talked to. I've been drafting a lot of Rashaad White on
40:00in and in redraft. In Best Ball, I've been drafting both and I've been mixing in a a bunch of Jacquory Croskey-Merritt. You're You seem to be
40:08way more bullish on JCM here than maybe a lot of the guys I've talked about.
40:13Talk about sort of the upside scenario for him and how you see this season playing out in the Washington backfield.
40:20>> So, I have a hard time with the Rashad White stuff because if I'm looking at the way this backfield goes, to me it's pretty clear they want
40:30JCM to be able to play more, so again they can remain more multiple so that they can have their cuz I think they
40:36know JCM is the best rusher on the team.
40:39Now, what's worse, Rashad White as an early down rusher or JCM as a passing down back? I mean, probably as a passing
40:47down back based on the evidence of what we've seen. We have seen guys acquire that skill set in the NFL, get better on
40:53passing downs, get better catching the ball, get better pass blocking.
40:57And in that range of the draft, it's like, okay, Rashad White and Gainwell go next to each other. I I might slightly prefer Gainwell there.
41:05Like, I know my my boy Jacob loves uh Rashad White or or at least did at at one of his prices, but to me,
41:13Kroski Merritt has shown an ability to be an explosive runner in the NFL. He's demonstrated nothing as a pass catcher.
41:21Explosive runs are sort of the currency in the NFL right now. Explosives are so hard to get. I mean, we see that with
41:27the Kansas City Chiefs doing Ken Walker and not running back. They're awful running back room. I think we're going to see it when Bijan and Gibbs get paid
41:34during these hold-ins. Like, generating explosives is so hard because passing explosives are at like a a 10-year low that it just makes sense that JCM is
41:42going to be the lead rusher there. You know, 200 220 carries and it would be a huge bonus if he caught the ball 40
41:48times.
41:50>> Yeah, it's an interesting conversation.
41:52I think the big takeaway is you want to take shots on this Washington backfield.
41:56Just like we talked about with the receiver room, Jayden Daniels fully healthy, Jayden Daniels is an awesome player and I think
42:05with the with the running backs, is it going to be a 50/50 split? I don't think so. I think one of these guys is going
42:11to be way more effective for fantasy football. Rashad White does have the pass-catching ability. That's sort of been a narrative that I've been leaning
42:18into, but if you're correct with the explosive runs, uh Jeff Wilson certainly is that. So, let us know in the comments, are you with Davis on JCM or
42:27are you with me with Rashad White?
42:29They're so close right now. Running back 38 and running back 40 on Underdog.
42:34They're basically neck and neck. This is one of the backfields I think one of these guys can end up producing in a
42:38major major way. Keeping it going at the running back position, Keaton Mitchell.
42:43Is Is Keaton Mitchell a contingent upside guy behind Hampton or is he something else? Is he the guy that you get manufactured touches for in the
42:53offense uh and provide big explosive plays? We've seen like the very fast running backs produce multiple times for McDaniel. Obviously, Devon Achane and
43:04then you've got certainly Raheem Mostert would fall into that category as well.
43:08Uh how are you viewing Mitchell? Cuz he's a really fun click right now.
43:13>> I mean, he he's probably my he's my most fun favorite click that like legitimately has a floor of no startable
43:20weeks. I think there is like a a 17% chance of an Achane Mostert so Slater and Alt stay healthy. The team doesn't
43:28try and get Justin Herbert an MVP and they just say, "Hey, we're going to score a bunch of points. We're going to
43:33run the ball." Mike McDaniel offense is the McShanney offenses. They love to run the ball. They actually play it it We think of the Shanahan offenses, we
43:42think of the McDaniel offenses as these like explosive and the fun. They're They actually play below league average in pace and they are negative PROE.
43:50Historically speaking, and McDaniel's offense definitely has been negative PROE.
43:55Hampton can touch the ball 250 times and there's 185 touches still out there for Keaton, I think.
44:01>> I think you nailed it where it's like 10 touches a game for Keaton Mitchell in this offense would just be awesome.
44:09Um, and that could come with Omarian Hampton falling in the end zone 14 times. Mitchell, I think it's just one of these players where if you're
44:15building out your team structurally, you're able to get use him as like a a spot starter as in the flex, potentially
44:23even some RB2 weeks uh if we're going going really optimistic. And then it's the contingent upside he has as well. If
44:32Hampton misses time, Mitchell would be awesome. And it's like Kamar Vidal was terrific last year for us. Ton of return on investment for people that picked him
44:40up on the waiver wire or handcuffed uh Hampton early on. But this is a Mike McDaniel guy. He had the the wanted
44:47posters with Keaton Mitchell that he had had made. I mean, it's just a maniacal story. But he had wanted posters for
44:54Alec Ingold and Keaton Mitchell. Um, and they went out and got him both of those guys. So like he hand-picked Keaton
45:01Mitchell. And Davis like I remember getting excited about Keaton Mitchell last year. It's sort of an opposite approach where Justice Hill was Harbaugh's guy in
45:10Baltimore. And we'd watch Justice Hill and say, "Oh man, I wish we could get Keaton Mitchell these touches." Now it's like the opposite. It's like a coach who
45:16really understands him and values him and did everything he could to go get him. So it's complete narrative shift, but I'm with you. Are you drafting him
45:27like put it like this. Let's say you have your OTC and you have Keaton Mitchell, Tyron Tracy, Woody Marks. Are you mixing up the exposure with those
45:35guys or is it absolutely just Keaton Keaton Keaton?
45:38>> that's that's 100%. That's 100%. That's all that's all Keaton all day.
45:46Cuz they I think Marks and Keaton are going to have a more similar role than the market thinks. I think a lot of
45:51people in the fantasy space don't think that Keaton has any passing down chops.
45:57I I think he probably will because McDaniel's just smart. He just wants to get these guys in space. He wants to get
46:03Keaton the ball while he's already moving. He's and and you know, he will get some pitches and some ins like some
46:09outside zone runs and things like that.
46:11Like you know, I don't know. Maybe his medium projection is like 17 catches, but I think he could have like 35 in the
46:17course of a normal season. Um and that's I it's not a majority opinion, but it's uh it's and he was a good pass catcher
46:24in college as well. Like a like a a very fine receiving prospect.
46:28>> 100% and and you go back to the rookie year where the sample size was really small, but he had nine catches for 93
46:34yards. It was like pure like incredibly electric. It was the 47 rush attempts for 400 yards and then he had nine nine
46:43receptions for 93 yards. I mean, we've been waiting for this with Keaton Mitchell. Uh he's really really fun. I have a lot of exposure to him. I also
46:50have a lot of Keaton Mitchell on in on dynasty rosters. So, I am in on the Keaton Mitchell big breakout season. Uh
46:57how exciting could that offense be? I mean, it could be the best offense in football. Let's talk about a pure handcuff play.
47:04There's not too many of these guys that are in an affordable range. I had Hayden Winks on and we talked about this sort
47:10of off camera where there's a bunch of these handcuffs that are in ambiguous backfields that you have to pay a big price tag for. We
47:18talked about Rashad White, Jaquarri Crosskey-Meritt. Those guys are up there. You talk about like Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones. Those guys are up
47:26there. Then you've got obviously the Kenneth Gainwell who's even more expensive. The Blake Corum and Kyle Monangai incredibly expensive. For true
47:35contingent upside handcuff backs, Tank Bigsby feels like the best of the bunch and you're getting him at a affordable ADP price tag.
47:46>> I think Tank Bigsby, if you're just looking at pure contingent value and then what a guy would project for if the
47:51starter was out, I mean, is he the best?
47:55See the best if you're going I would I would basically never start this guy unless the starter was out versus I okay I mess with the projection and I
48:04I project him as the starter. I mean he's better than Brian Robinson Jr.
48:08Better than Algier. Better than Dylan Sampson.
48:11Maybe similar to I mean Keaton would is going to lose stuff to to Vidal.
48:16I guess Blake Corum but here you're kind of drafting him for standalone value which certainly project better than the Vikings guys like and I think Tank is
48:23like a pretty good runner too. So to me he is like uh you know kind of an every running back room I kind of want like my starters.
48:31I'd like to have one ambiguous backfield guy, you know, your Viking, your Commander, whatever, your Bronco. I'd like to have one passing down guy that I
48:39could start if I absolutely had to. Your Dylan Sampson, your I I mean I call it the Nyheim Hines archetype. And then
48:47you have your RB2 and you don't want too many of those guys cuz they're real roster cloggers but Tank would be the
48:53pick of the litter for me.
48:54>> Yeah, Tank Bigsby's like the profile for Bigsby if we go back. He was a third round pick out of Auburn. So SEC
49:01pedigree, day two draft capital.
49:05In 2023 we had a ton of buzz with him and he was like a nothing as a rookie.
49:10Then he goes undrafted and is one of the bigger waiver wire running back picks up pickups in 2024. I remember writing a
49:17ton about this in in multiple sites about how like Bigsby was so much more productive than Travis Etienne. Bigsby ends up with 766 rushing yards, seven
49:28touchdowns in 2024 and had a bunch of like 100-yard games.
49:33Then Philadelphia trades for him and we sort of like we're like whatever. And now he's sitting here and he's a Saquon
49:40Barkley injury away from being really fantasy relevant. Like a top 12 kind of guy on the weekly running back rankings I think when you factor in how good the
49:50Philadelphia Eagles offensive ecosystem is, how we believe in Sean Mannion the play caller right now, kind of sight unseen, the vibes are great with
49:59Mannion, and then you've got this really good offensive line in Philly. So, like you talked about those other running backs, I think they all are appealing,
50:06but in terms of the quality of the offense, if Bijan Robinson is not on the field for Atlanta, the offense regresses. Brian Robinson doesn't
50:15provide that same juice. I mean, Simp Samson, Tracy, all these guys, but with Bigsby, we have it on like what should
50:23be a potentially top 10 offense. So, I'm with you. I think Bigsby's an awesome player to draft, and if you're not into
50:29Saquon Barkley this year, just draft him as sort of a hedge, bet against Saquon Barkley as well. Barkley, I think is
50:36going to be a really good good player this year, but if I'm wrong on this one, and he ends up missing some time or
50:42something like that, Bigsby could give you a bunch of usable weeks. So, a really really fun fun call out there, uh
50:48Davis. We got to end the show with this player. It's the only quarterback we're talking about, but it's one of the best
50:55sleepers on the board. Actually, we just did a Ian Hartitz and Jagger May, Jim Coventry, and myself were doing these round table articles at RotoWire. You
51:04can go read it at rotowire.com. I don't think this is paywalled or anything. And we're doing like these round table discussions where we all give like an
51:11answer to the same question. Really fun process, but we did uh favorite sleeper, and my sleeper is your quarterback you're talking about here. So, really,
51:22without even talking to each other, but it's we've been paying this premium for rushing production for years now. Ever since 2019 Lamar Jackson, the market is
51:32never going to give you access to like a high-end rushing producer without making you pay for it, but this year it feels
51:38like there's a window.
51:40>> So, the deal with Malik Willis is every quarterback who has ran for 100 times over the last 10 years outside of two
51:48guys has finished as a top 10 quarterback in fantasy. You could certainly make an argument that the dolphins are going to be so bad that he
51:55won't have the ability to get there. He would have to be really, really, really bad as a passer and hey, their wide
52:01receiver group is Malik Washington, Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, Kevin Coleman Jr. and Chris Bell. So, it really might be that bad. Caleb Douglas,
52:09you know, it really it really might end up being that bad. But when I've had to make these bets before, I've had to
52:15spend like a fifth round pick on on this type of bet before. You know, Anthony Richardson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, even Justin Fields as a as a stealer,
52:25you know, was was not totally, totally free. So, I I think I think you just kind of got to plug your nose and say, I'm making a bet that
52:33I think is good even though I might lose.
52:36>> 100% and I think it's like Willis can rush for 800 yards this year. You talk about like the legendary season like
52:42Justin Fields and Willis won't have 1,100 rushing yards like Justin Fields had that season, but Justin Fields was QB5 overall in points per game with only
52:5417 touchdown passes. The following year, he was QB9 in points per game with only 16. So, like Malik Willis getting there,
53:02if Malik Willis has 24 touchdown passes this year, then he's going to be unbelievable, but if he just has the 18-20 of them, he's going to be good
53:13because I think the rushing production is going to be fantastic. He's also playing alongside Devon Achane, so it's the threat of Achane. Defenses can't
53:20just like sell out against Willis and the ability to sort of freeze linebackers and then nobody wants to see Achane rip off 40-yard runs. I think
53:28Willis is going to be up there in terms of designed runs, goal line rush attempts, like all the metrics are going to
53:35support him. He His final scoring line could look similar to like Jackson Dart's from last year when it's all said and done. So, I'm into it and
53:44quarterback 21 price tag, you don't need to make him your primary quarterback.
53:49You can just draft him as your QB2 and sort of draft a QB late and potentially end up with a guy who's just fantasy
53:56football cheat code.
53:59>> If the Miami Dolphins end up being the 26th best offense in football, Malik Willis probably like easily finishes as a top
54:0710 quarterback. I mean, could he run for a thousand yards?
54:12I think so. I think so. And now like 10 touchdowns, probably not. Although maybe, right? May if they just do the if
54:18they if they just touch push him, why why not? Why can't he? He is So, Malik Willis is a really good running
54:26quarterback, right? I mean, that is kind of one of the things. He's one of those guys who you're like, okay, you actually
54:30are different at this. Like it's not like you know, like I mean, we Burrow and Lawrence and like peak Rodgers like oh,
54:38400 yards, four touchdowns. I mean, he's kind of like he's like thick, too.
54:42Doesn't mind getting tackled. Like he's a really good runner.
54:45>> Yeah, his 4 6 speed and and at Liberty, there were people that thought he was going to be like one of the top picks in
54:52the NFL draft. Obviously, he fell to day two.
54:55Um but Willis like there was a lot of people who were prospect evaluators who were huge on him. So, he'll be biting
55:00his time and Miami wants to be run heavy. Uh Devon Achane talked about it this week. His goal is to lead the NFL
55:07in rushing yards. That's a whole 'nother sort of conversation about Achane, but Malik Willis really interesting. Care to take a stab at the the leading pass
55:16catcher in Miami? Is there or what just don't go chase waterfalls in this situation?
55:23>> I mean, Dulcich, right? Dulcich Dulcich catches has the has the most yards.
55:27Second after that, I I will guess um I'll guess Tolbert, right? It's probably Tolbert.
55:33>> There we go. There we go. Uh yeah, we're not advocating for Miami pass catchers, but we are advocating for Malik Willis
55:39and are advocating for you to go check out Davis. Let everybody know once again your YouTube channel.
