0:24me an awful lot of Giants rookie wide
0:26receiver Malachi Fields. Not the
0:28flashiest player in the world, but he's
0:29absolutely going to get the job done.

0:33against press man coverage necessarily.
0:35However, the guy's a big-bodied receiver
0:37who can play on the line of scrimmage
0:39both as an X receiver and sometimes as a
0:42power slot. You saw him in that first
0:43preseason game as the insert blocker as
0:45well. He can play multiple roles. He can
0:48move across the formation. Great hands,
0:51high-points the ball, contested
0:52catchability. One of the things I love
0:54the most about him with the New York
0:55Giants is the success rate that you're
0:58seeing on the curl route here. Some of
1:00his best work is when he's selling on
1:02the vertical stem and throttles down on
1:05deeper stop routes, curls, outside the
1:08numbers. Jackson Dart loves those
1:12throws. This is a really good pairing
1:14between the rookie wide receiver and the
1:16second-year quarterback. His ability to
1:18play off script, kind of like a mature
1:20version of Keon Coleman. Specifically,
1:23his touchdown in the preseason, very
1:25similar to an off-script play that you
1:27might see from a guy like Keon Coleman.
1:29Malachi Fields, not the flashiest in the
1:31world, but consider me a fan of the New
1:33York Giants rookie wide receiver.
