Croskey-Merritt's success rate fell to 35.7% over the remainder of his rookie season after a strong start. He fumbled four times, which kept the Commanders from giving the seventh-round pick a larger role in the lineup. He hasn't made a steady impact as a receiver, which likely limits him to an early-down role if he can keep the fumbles down.
