Brooks suffered an ankle injury in Week 4 win over the Buccaneers and is undergoing further testing; he did not play in Week 5 or Week 6. Brooks had been the most consistent rusher in a timeshare situation. MarShawn Lloyd is the likely beneficiary for as long as Brooks remains sidelined, although that role carries little value for the team with the fewest rush attempts in the league through the first month of the season.

Placed on injured reserve with ankle injury; expected to miss ~4 weeks. Was pass-blocking back (not for passes), so his absence opens receiving-down reps for Lloyd. No direct fantasy impact beyond backfield opportunity shift.
