Yahoo Fantasy Football on Josh Jacobs

Jacobs can exploit Lions' weak rushing defense despite tough pass-catching matchup.

The Packers open this divisional road test against a Detroit defense that ranks 22nd in half PPR points allowed to opposing running backs at 16.8 per game. The Lions have been tough against pass-catching backs, ranking 30th in receiving points allowed to the position, but they sit 15th against RB rushing. That's where Jacobs will do most of his damage. Detroit has seen explosive rushing outputs, with James Cook III finishing as the RB4 and Chuba Hubbard landing as the RB7. Green Bay enters as 3-point road underdogs with an implied team total of 25.25 points (seventh).
