STACKED’s take
Fernando Mendoza positioned as future QB option; could add explosiveness long-term.
Fernando Mendoza is discussed as a future option for the Raiders at quarterback. The source notes 'at some point, Fernando Mendoza is going to play' and suggests that while he's not calling for him to play immediately, Mendoza represents a potential solution for the Raiders' long-term quarterback needs. The source also notes that if Mendoza can be paired with a receiver upgrade, the Raiders could solve their offensive explosiveness issues going forward, stating 'if you're thinking ahead for the future and you're trying to be excited about 2027 and you're like, man, we got to solve receiver and quarterback. Well, they don't have to solve quarterback. You know, who knows how good he'll be, but they have an answer for like trying to get more explosive that way.'
