Those types of timing throws have given Murray trouble throughout his career, so we might settle into a middle ground between WR1 flirtation with Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold and WR3 panic with J.J. McCarthy.

Jefferson has 79.5 projected receiving yards in Week 8 at Detroit. In two games with Kyler Murray, Jefferson was WR15 and WR36 on WR27 and WR23 usage, respectively, with a 4-44-0 line and a DPI. Murray missed him on a play-action cut and an anticipatory stop route near the sticks; those timing throws have given Murray trouble throughout his career. Jefferson may settle into a middle ground between WR1 flirtation with Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold and WR3 panic with J.J. McCarthy. Murray looks healthy and the OL was creating big lanes on the ground. Jefferson is a low-end WR1. The Lions have allowed the third-most points on deep targets this year and the most passing yards per game to all levels, but Jefferson has struggled against them recently (WR52, WR19, WR53) before a top-six WR stretch in four straight games.
