Pickens has just one 100-yard game; extension cost rivals Lamb's deal

Pickens has cleared 100 yards just once this season and is known for declining effort and interest when he isn't getting the football. The source questions whether it makes financial sense for the Cowboys to keep Pickens on their roster in 2027, given he would command a market-rate extension of conservatively over $33 million APY—worryingly close to CeeDee Lamb's $34 million per year—while producing at a disappointing level.
