A.J. Brown

PositiveRole0:09

After returning from injury with some early drops that got in his head, AJ Brown is expected to be fine going forward; Jalen Hertz assesses his recovery outlook at 90% confidence, noting he'll shake off the rust and return to form as the primary target.

Insight page
NegativeProjection39:39

Jalen Hertz is not panicking on AJ Brown despite recent hand drops, rating his concern at 1 out of 10. Hertz notes that unless Brown gets benched like Cam Scadaboo for mistakes, the drops are not a major concern. Hertz loves Brown's target volume and plans to take him in a bet next week, indicating confidence in his continued role and production.

Insight page

Aaron Rodgers

PositiveProjection32:00

At 41-42 years old, playing the best football since tearing his Achilles; last four weeks: 22.6, 22, 22, and 16 points (three straight 20-point performances). Jalen Hertz notes that if you average his last four weeks, he'd be fourth among quarterbacks behind Allen, Purdy, and Goff, just ahead of Joe Burrow. The Steelers offense, which Hertz thought would be poor heading into the year, has been good. Hertz says if you've had problems at quarterback, Rodgers might be your answer, and he's better than Tyler Shuck (playing with a broken hand), better than Patrick Mahomes, and better than Justin Herbert and Bo Nix. Next week he plays the Saints in Paris.

Insight page

Alec Pierce

NegativeInjury0:18

Alec Pierce is on IR for the Colts; his return would help clear opportunity for Josh Downs and provide another receiving option in the Colts offense.

Insight page

Blake Corum

NegativeRole45:41

Jalen Hertz notes that Blake Corum has been in and out of the lineup, playing the last two weeks but being out before that. This inconsistent usage pattern suggests Corum's role remains uncertain and he may not be a reliable fantasy option until his playing time stabilizes.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeInjury9:08

Jalen Hertz uses Caleb Williams' injury as a comparable for Saquon Barkley's moderate-severity injury profile in terms of expected return timeline and recovery pattern.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveUsage20:35

Seven targets, six catches, 70 yards and a touchdown against Indianapolis; Jalen Hertz notes Tate had 70% of Cam Ward's 102 passing yards in this game, and similarly dominated target share in his other good game (110 of 212 yards). Hertz loves Tate's talent but is lukewarm on him overall due to the poor quarterback situation with Ward, who looks ineffective and may not be long for the job. Hertz would consider selling high on Tate in redraft leagues given the QB uncertainty, though he's a buy if available on waivers for those with weaker receivers like Makai Lemon or Wicks.

Insight page

Carson Steele

NegativeInjury0:30

Carson Steele, who was getting some passing work in the Eagles backfield, left with a shoulder injury; part of a depleted running back room.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue48:48

Jalen Hertz strongly recommends trading wide receiver depth (Buka or Burden) straight up for Chase Brown, calling him a potential game-changer. Hertz notes that Chase Brown has been significantly better in the second half of the year for the past two years, though he acknowledges utilization concerns with the Bengals backfield. Despite the rough start, Hertz would make either trade without hesitation.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeProjection38:00

Struggling the past couple of weeks with tough matchups (Vikings) and Tyler Shuck playing with a broken hand and offensive line injuries. Jalen Hertz rates panic at a 3, noting that Olave is fairly QB-proof and the Saints play fast, creating games where they run up and down the field. Hertz expects the offense to improve when Etienne returns. He's less concerned about Olave than Juwan Johnson.

Insight page
NegativeProjection38:49

Jalen Hertz expresses some panic about Olave following a down performance but expects the Saints offense to improve when Etienne returns. Hertz rates his panic level at 3 out of 10, suggesting minimal concern despite the recent underperformance. The fast-paced Saints offense should generate games where they run up and down the field, supporting Olave's long-term outlook.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveRole26:48

Six receptions, 65 yards and a touchdown in Caleb Williams' first start; Jalen Hertz had ranked Loveland low (14 or 15) heading into this game because of his poor performance earlier in the season despite the high draft pick, but Loveland is back now that Caleb Williams is back and the offense is humming. Hertz is back in on Loveland given the improved quarterback play and offensive rhythm.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeRole5:43

Did not have terrible Week 6 performance. Jalen Hertz suggests slight downgrade with Jalen Hurts out for four weeks, but less severe than secondary receivers because tight ends are performing well league-wide this year. Remains a viable option but faces some production risk with backup QB Tanner McKee.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeRole5:43

Scored late touchdown in Week 6 but will be downgraded as secondary Eagles receiver with Jalen Hurts out for four weeks. Jalen Hertz expects secondary Eagles pass-catchers to see reduced production with backup QB Tanner McKee, though McKee's first start was not terrible. Smith and Saquon Barkley remain primary options, but secondary receivers like Smith face downgrade risk.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveUsage22:31

15 targets this week; Jalen Hertz notes that while he's never been a huge DK Metcalf guy, the utilization has been fantastic for him all year, even though it hasn't always translated to production. Metcalf won contested situations against Parrish, particularly in the fourth quarter and overtime. Hertz sees him as a viable option given the improved Steelers offense and consistent target volume.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveUsage28:00

Big performance in the Giants' chaotic game where Jameis Winston was benched for J.J. McCarthy. Jalen Hertz notes that Likely has been awesome this year overall, but he's not expecting those type of performances to repeat next week against Houston.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeProjection28:00

Threw for 243 yards in approximately 11 minutes of game time in the fourth quarter and overtime after replacing Jameis Winston, including an early interception. Jalen Hertz notes that while McCarthy's performance was impressive, garbage-time stats can be misleading—teams play defense differently when up big. Hertz thinks the Giants should start McCarthy next week at Houston but would be cautious, noting that if McCarthy starts, he might see something like 13 completions on 27 attempts for 119 yards. Houston's defense has been terrible this year despite being expected to be good.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury1:21

Hurts placed on IR with blood clot; best-case scenario involves superficial clot dissolving over six weeks with ongoing monitoring; worst-case requires blood thinners for 6–12 weeks (typically closer to 12), potentially ending his season since blood thinners are incompatible with football due to head-injury bleeding risk. Eagles have not released detailed timeline, but outlook ranges from four-week absence to season-ending depending on clot depth and treatment protocol.

Insight page
NegativeInjury5:09

Blood clot risk is present but not high; Jalen Hertz notes the injury had identifiable causes (cleating and long flight to/from London) rather than unexplained etiology, which lowers recurrence risk. Not anticipated to be career-threatening or career-ending; expected to return Week 1 next year without issue regardless of 2024 outcome.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection28:00

Benched in the fourth quarter for J.J. McCarthy after a poor performance; Jalen Hertz notes that Jameis has made his career in garbage time, and while McCarthy's fourth-quarter performance was impressive, it's unclear if the Giants should go back to Winston. Hertz thinks they should start McCarthy next week but acknowledges the uncertainty.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveRole50:08

Jalen Hertz believes Jalen Warren remains the lead back for Pittsburgh even with Jaylen Dadle's return, citing Warren's usage as a closer in overtime and Rogers' preference for dumping off to him on short routes. Hertz expects Dadle to eat into Warren's workload and potentially vulture goal-line touches, but maintains Warren is still the primary guy. Warren's role was always going to be a split once Dadle returned, not the 90% snap share he had been receiving.

Insight page

Jonathan Taylor

PositiveRole0:32

Jonathan Taylor is essentially the only consistent offensive weapon for the Colts; the offense is 'all kind of Jonathan Taylor and nobody else,' making him the focal point despite overall offensive dysfunction.

Insight page

Josh Downs

NegativeRole0:47

Josh Downs has disappointed so far this season; with Tyler Warren now out, the middle of the Colts offense clears for him, which should theoretically create an uptick in opportunity; however, Daniel Jones and the overall Colts offense are not performing well, and the offense is essentially Jonathan Taylor and nobody else, limiting Downs' ceiling despite improved opportunity.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

NegativeProjection38:00

Jalen Hertz rates panic higher on Juwan Johnson than Chris Olave, noting that at 30 years old there's not much upside there. Hertz thinks Johnson's hot start with touchdowns might just fade, and there are tight ends on the waiver wire you can add instead. If you're starting Juwan Johnson, you've probably never been married to him.

Insight page
NegativeBust38:44

Jalen Hertz notes Johnson is 30 years old with limited upside; his recent touchdown production appears to be a hot start that will fade rather than a sustainable trend. Hertz rates panic on Johnson lower than on Olave, suggesting Johnson's role is less concerning than his age and declining trajectory.

Insight page

Keenan Allen

NegativeRole0:58

Keenan Allen is the Colts' main receiver at this point with Alec Pierce on IR and Tyler Warren out; Jalen Hertz would move him up in rankings somewhat, though begrudgingly, given the overall dysfunction of the Colts offense under Daniel Jones.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveRole26:48

Three touchdowns over the last two weeks; Jalen Hertz notes that Pitts' usage really improved this week with less Charlie Warner and specifically more snaps on 11 personnel. Last week against Baltimore he had five catches for 42 yards and a score, then five for 16 and two scores this week. Hertz is back in on Pitts now that Penix is the quarterback and the offense is better.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection45:05

Jalen Hertz notes that Kyler Murray has still been good despite the Rams' poor performance this week, suggesting Murray's individual production remains solid even as the team struggles. This indicates Murray should continue to be a reliable fantasy option moving forward.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue0:11

Lad McConkey is a buy-low candidate despite injury concerns; he has a concussion (expected to sideline him ~1 week, with the Chargers' bye coming up, so he should return Week 8), plus prior rib and foot injuries that will have time to heal during the bye. Scott notes the Chargers' poor team performance means garbage-time volume for McConkey, making him a smart add if your bench is deep enough and your WR room is already solid.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeRole6:40

Jalen Hertz does not want roster exposure to Makai Lemon as secondary Eagles receiver with Jalen Hurts out for four weeks and backup QB Tanner McKee starting. Recommends downgrading or dropping in most league formats, with waiver wire alternatives preferred unless in very deep leagues with no wire options.

Insight page

Matthew Stafford

NegativeProjection46:06

Jalen Hertz expresses concern about Matthew Stafford's mobility and overall performance, noting that Stafford is not moving well and looked terrible in the Rams' recent loss. While Hertz expects performance to improve beyond this week, he acknowledges the concerning trend and suggests caution regarding Stafford's fantasy outlook.

Insight page

Najee Harris

PositiveUsage28:00

11 snaps in Week 6 after getting word 30 minutes before kickoff that he would be way more involved at the expense of Cam Saunders, following Saunders' fumble on a game-winning drive last week. Jalen Hertz understands the punishment aspect but notes this is at the detriment of the team's performance.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout24:48

Seven targets, six receptions, 103 yards and a touchdown in his first game back from IR; Jalen Hertz was always on the Omar Cooper side over Adonai Mitchell and had dropped Cooper after Mitchell went nuclear early, but Mitchell's broken finger injury and subsequent surgery led Hertz to drop Mitchell instead. With Garrett Wilson and Brees Hall still to return, there are many moving pieces, but Hertz is buying on Cooper in deeper leagues. He notes that rookies typically improve in the second half of the year, though the Jets' slow-playing offense creates volatility.

Insight page

Puka Nacua

NegativeProjection45:29

Jalen Hertz notes that this was Puka Nakua's first full game played this season, suggesting he may have been dealing with injury or limited usage. Despite the Rams' poor offensive performance, Nakua's full participation indicates he is healthy and should be monitored for increased production going forward.

Insight page

Romeo Doubs

NegativeInjury0:57

Romeo Dobbs left with a shoulder injury after scoring a touchdown; the injury appears to be an AC joint sprain from falling hard on the tip of his shoulder; AC joint sprains are often played through, with about a quarter of wide receivers playing even the following week, usually with an injection.

Insight page
NegativeInjury1:50

Dobbs left Week 6 game early with a shoulder injury.

Insight page

Roschon Johnson

NegativeRole46:48

Jalen Hertz does not recommend picking up Roshon Johnson for most leagues, noting that Comon should be back next week. However, Hertz acknowledges Johnson had nice usage in his recent game and suggests he might be worth a waiver claim in very deep leagues as a handcuff in case of injury to the primary backs (Irving Pollard or Ramondre Stevenson).

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury0:00

Saquon suffered a soft tissue injury with re-injury risk being the real concern; Jalen Hertz suggests Eagles management should consider slow-playing him to minimize re-injury risk and avoid tanking his trade value if re-aggravated in-season; data slightly favored the following week for return, but re-injury risk remains elevated.

Insight page
NegativeInjury1:36

Barkley has missed the last couple of weeks, including Week 6, due to ongoing injury.

Insight page
NegativeInjury8:47

Moderate-severity injury suffered early in Week 5; data favors return either Week 7 or Week 8, with Week 8 slightly more likely. Similar injury profile to Caleb Williams. Re-injury risk is the primary concern; Jalen Hertz suggests Eagles management should consider slow-playing his return to minimize re-injury risk and protect trade value if re-aggravation occurs in-season. Running backs typically show usage ramp-up over ~2 weeks post-return rather than immediate efficiency dip.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeRole7:12

Backup QB started Week 6 against team coming off bye with extra prep time for Eagles. Performance was not terrible in first start, but Jalen Hertz notes Eagles' issues extend beyond quarterback play to offensive line and play-calling. McKee's debut does not guarantee secondary receiver production recovery.

Insight page
NegativeRole43:13

Jalen Hertz expects Tanner McKee to start most games for the Eagles unless he plays terribly, given his familiarity with the offense. Hertz notes that McKee has been with the team for a long time and knows the system, making him the likely starter if Jalen Hurts misses significant time due to blood clots (estimated 6-12 week timeline, closer to 12 weeks).

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeUsage34:00

Nine offensive snaps in the London game but they were meaningful snaps; Jalen Hertz notes that Hunter is primarily a defensive player (62 defensive snaps) and is the best wide receiver on the Jaguars including Parker Washington, but the team needs him more in the secondary. Hertz says with nine snaps, it guarantees close to nothing in terms of fantasy production. He recommends adding him only in really deep leagues if you want to monitor if his offensive snaps tick up, but in normal leagues, let somebody else use their FAB on him. Hertz's plan is to put in a zero dollar claim and try to trade him.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeInjury0:44

Tyler Warren tweaked his groin in practice on Friday and did not play; he had a groin injury in the preseason, making this a re-aggravation; re-aggravations of groin strains average about three weeks out, so this is most likely a multi-week injury; re-aggravations tend to be more severe than the original injury and carry high re-aggravation risk going forward, so he would likely miss at least another week.

Insight page
NegativeInjury1:36

Warren tweaked his groin during Friday practice and missed Week 6 as a result.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeInjury0:26

Will Shipley is on IR; part of a depleted Eagles running back room with Saquon dealing with soft tissue injury and re-injury risk concerns.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. All right, welcome everybody to the Fantasy Pros Podcast.
0:05Recapping Week 6, a ton of stuff happened today, including a pretty crazy witching hour.
0:09It's not quite over yet. But I am Matt Modai.
0:12I am joined by Scott Bogman and Dr. Deepak Chona.
0:15Scott, we will start with you. How are we doing?
0:18I'm doing all right. I mean, I had a much better Sunday than I did Saturday.
0:22If you're looking at my hat, you guys can tell that.
0:25But yeah, Steelers won in overtime. That was a fun game to watch.
0:29Jeremy Bernard with a huge game. That was awesome to see.
0:32And yeah, a lot of moving and shaking in the fantasy world as well.
0:36And we didn't get crushed with injuries today. Knock on wood.
0:39It's not over. So I am knocking on wood.
0:42But not the worst day for injuries. So, you know, not bad.
0:45We'll take that. We'll take it. Yeah. Eagles fan here.
0:48So we don't need to talk about my fanhood.
0:51But I'm good. I got two Super Bowls. I'm chilling.
0:54But yeah. So the injuries, it's funny because in my notes, this is the third Sunday recap stream that I've done.
1:00And the first two were like just bloody Sundays.
1:02I mean, we're talking just injury after injury, but not a, like you said, not a terrible injury day.
1:08And we'll just get right into it. So, so Deepak, you're here to talk about injuries.
1:12We'll just get into it. But we see on the graphic here.
1:16So Hertz, we got a lot of players that missed this week, like Saquon, Jalen Hertz, and Tyler Warren.
1:21Hertz is obviously the big news with the blood clot and the fact that he's a quarterback.
1:26Tyler Warren tweaked his groin in practice on Friday, ended up missing today.
1:30And then Romeo Dobbs left early with the shoulder.
1:32Lad McConkie left early with a concussion. And obviously Saquon's been out the last couple of weeks, including this week.
1:38Um, then we got some quick hitters at the end as well, but we'll start with the big names on the graphic.
1:44So what do you got for Hertz? I know he was just put on IR yesterday or yesterday, whatever day it was
1:51after that it wasn't going to happen. But anyways, what do we got on Hertz and the blood clot?
1:56Yeah. So with Jalen Hertz blood clot situation, they haven't released some of the like key details in order to really determine the timeline.
2:03The best case here is that the blood clot stays small and superficial, which is what they reported initially.
2:09And that the body dissolves it over the course of about six weeks.
2:12Now, if that happens, you'd kind of be scanning him along the way to make sure.
2:17Uh, however, if the clot goes deeper, that is a much more serious issue.
2:21And that requires blood thinners and you can't play football on blood thinners because you could bleed, especially if you get hit in the head.
2:28So the idea being that this, if you do end up on blood thinners, usually six to 12 weeks as a standard
2:34regimen, and usually leans a little bit higher, closer to the 12.
2:38So we would potentially see him end his season.
2:40If that were the case, they just haven't released a whole lot of info and nor do they owe us that.
2:46But, uh, right now, obviously out four weeks and the potential here is that this could be much longer.
2:52Gotcha. And we'll talk about, um, Scott, we'll ask you some questions about the Eagles, but just curious Deepak.
2:57So if it ends up being the six week one and he doesn't go on blood thinners, is there any risk of it happening again?
3:04Or is it kind of like he's back and it should be good to go?
3:09There is risk, but it's probably not that high because the, if there wasn't any explanation for why did he get this
3:15blood clot in the first place, then I would say that risk is probably higher, but he was cleated.
3:21He also went on a long flight to and from London.
3:24So that also adds to that risk. Uh, I wouldn't anticipate this being like a career threatening or career ending type of injury.
3:30I would anticipate him regardless of what happens this year, probably back week one of next year without a problem.
3:36Gotcha. Yeah, that makes sense. And then for the Eagles, I mean, like the players you started, you didn't have a terrible performance from, from Goddard.
3:43Obviously Devante Smith got the late touchdown. Pierce got in, but Scott, I know I saw a question that we can talk
3:50about in a little deeper, but let's say it hurts.
3:53You know, he's out for four weeks. What are we doing with the Eagles?
3:57That's the big question here. What are we doing with the Eagles?
4:00I mean, I think you're downgrading all the secondary guys, right?
4:03Like Devante and Saquon are still going to have their roles.
4:06Saquon when he's back, obviously. Um, Goddard, maybe a little bit just because, you know, uh, the, the tight ends are doing okay this year.
4:14So, uh, but like, I don't want anything to do with Makai Lemon at this point.
4:18Uh, Dante and Wicks, I think can probably go.
4:21Uh, I mean, he, I think he left and came back, but, um, same thing with Lemon.
4:26I think he did the same thing. Left and came back, but I think those secondary guys I'm downgrading with Tanner McKee,
4:32but McKee wasn't terrible today in his first start.
4:35Um, and he played a team coming off a buy that had, uh, you know, time to prep for the Eagles as well.
4:41So, uh, you know, maybe those guys come back.
4:44If you're in a super deep league, obviously you're not getting rid of them.
4:48If there's no one on the wire for you to add.
4:51But, uh, I do think in most scenarios, you could probably start looking towards a waiver wire.
4:56If you're rostering Makai Lemon and Don Tavion Wicks and guys like that.
5:00Yeah. And they have a great schedule coming up.
5:02They got Dallas next week. They have the commanders and the giants are next three games.
5:07I forget the order of the last two, but, um, yeah, I mean, Eagles fans love Tanner McKee, but the issue is
5:13a lot more than the quarterback with that team.
5:16Offensive line, um, play calling, like it's just a lot of stuff going on.
5:20So we don't need to spend a ton of time on the Eagles, but while we're talking about them, I might as well ask about Saquon.
5:27Barkley. So he got injured the first like drive a couple of weeks ago has now missed two games.
5:33Uh, what are we, what are we seeing hearing on Saquon Barkley?
5:36Yeah. So it's the data would favor him returning either this week or next with week eight being slightly more likely.
5:42Uh, the reasoning for that is that it looked like at least a moderate severity type injury on the video.
5:48It's kind of stopped him in his tracks. So somewhat similar to what I would anticipate with like a Caleb Williams injury return here.
5:55Usually when running backs do come back, they don't have a huge performance or efficiency dip, but you do tend to see
6:01their usage a little bit, take about two weeks to ramp up.
6:04So about a little bit of a dip there.
6:07Uh, the re-injury risk is the real concern. And, you know, from an Eagles management standpoint, if it were me, I would
6:13consider slow playing this with Saquon minimizing the risk of re-injury.
6:16And basically trying to not, uh, tank his trade value if you were to re-aggravate this in season.
6:22So again, this week may be a possibility, but the data was slightly favored the next.
6:26Yeah. I mean, that running back room Saquon, obviously Bigsby's on IR.
6:30Will Shipley's on IR. The other guy, Carson Steele, not a huge name, but he was getting some passing work.
6:35He left with a shoulder injury. So, um, not a great, it's not, it's not always sunny in Philadelphia.
6:41I'll tell you that we can, but we can move on.
6:44Um, so Tyler Warren, the next name on our graphic here, tweaked his groin in practice.
6:49Didn't play today. What do you have on that?
6:51Yeah. This happened just on Friday. So we don't have a clear indication of severity because that quick of a turnaround, most players wouldn't play.
6:58Uh, with that being said, he did have a groin injury in the preseason.
7:02This is presumably a re-aggravation and re-aggravations of groin strains average about three weeks out.
7:07So this would most K in most cases be a multi-week injury we're looking at.
7:11Okay. Cause yeah, I was wondering if he was a game time decision, they worked him out.
7:16You think that, oh, maybe he'll be good in a week, but you're saying it's probably looking like a couple of weeks.
7:22Just the nature of re-aggravations is that they tend to be a little bit more severe, severe than the original injury.
7:28And secondly, that they, they tend to have a high re-aggravation risk going forward.
7:32So I would think that he would miss another week.
7:35We'll kind of see how practice reports line up for him.
7:38But, uh, at this point with limited info, most players would miss the following week.
7:42Got it. Yeah, that makes sense. And then for the Colts, I mean, definitely not seeing the same Daniel Jones that we saw last year.
7:50I personally have been disappointed in Josh Downs. I was expecting more from him, especially with, um, with Warren now out this week.
7:56So, um, Scott, I mean, are you, are you upping Keenan Allen in your rankings or Josh Downs or lean heavier on Johnny Taylor?
8:03What are we doing? If, if we know that, uh, Warren's going to miss a couple of weeks.
8:08Yeah. I mean, I think I want it to be Downs too.
8:12Uh, I wasn't the biggest Downs guy coming in, but it seems like everything is there for him to succeed, right?
8:18No Alec Pierce. Uh, now we have Tyler Warren down the guy.
8:21That's like kind of clears the middle for him a little bit.
8:25So you would think that maybe we would see an uptick here, but Daniel Jones and just, this offense is not working very well right now either.
8:32So it's all kind of Jonathan Taylor and nobody else.
8:35So, um, Keenan Allen, maybe, you know, I'll move him up a little bit, of course, because he's their main guy at
8:42this point, but I'm not like super excited to do it.
8:45It's almost begrudgingly, you know? Sure. Yeah. Let's hope Alec Pierce is good to go as soon as he's eligible off of IR.
8:51Yeah. Yeah. That makes sense. All right. So next one, Romeo Dobbs left after, at least he scored a touchdown.
8:57So people that I believe he scored a touchdown, people that started him, at least that they didn't get totally cooked by,
9:03by the injury, um, left with the shoulder. What do you have on him?
9:07Yeah. It looks like he fell pretty hard on the tip of his shoulder.
9:11That's classic for an AC joint sprain. A lot of times these get played through about a quarter of, of wide receivers
9:18do play even the following week, usually with an injection, some degree of a performance hit.
9:22And we saw this with DJ more, he came back the following week, but then re aggravated it from falling on it again.
9:29So that's the concern by rushing back. Uh, with that being said, these, these tend to be short-term injuries and the, the
9:35three forts of players who miss one week, usually return within the next.
9:39So it would, should be a short-term injury. Got it.
9:42And I mean, the Patriots receivers, AJ Brown, do you have more drops than catches?
9:46Um, I think he did. Mario Douglas scored again.
9:49So if, if Dobbs misses, I mean, you're not benching AJ Brown, obviously.
9:52Um, and I mean, Douglas is probably in your lineup.
9:55Would you agree with that Scott? Yeah, I think so.
9:58I'm going to lose a league this week because I didn't have him in my lineup.
10:03So, uh, scored a couple of touchdowns last week.
10:05I, I think he's better than Romeo Dobbs. Anyway, I just think they need to feed him the ball a little bit
10:12more and they've been doing it the last two weeks.
10:15So, uh, yeah, I think that is the absolute guy here.
10:18And, um, obviously he's going to go more to AJ Brown pretty soon, but, um, it's the dude is, he's shaking the rust off at this point.
10:25So I know people are upset. He'll be, he'll be okay.
10:29Uh, moving forward. I think I would say 90%.
10:31So, but, uh, you watched AJ Brown a lot.
10:34I know you like that guy. Yeah. I love, I love AJ.
10:37Yeah. I mean, he, you know, first came back, got some drops, probably got in his head a little bit.
10:43He'll be fine. Even dropped the onsides kick, which was just, at least they recovered it because that would have been tough if, if the jets got it.
10:51And then who knows what happens? Brutal. Um, yeah, yeah.
10:54Um, I'm, I'm sure we'll have questions about AJ.
10:56So we don't need to go, go too deep on him.
11:00And then lad, I mean, so it was the, it was the rib and week one, then it was the foot.
11:06Now he's got a concussion. The guy just can't stay healthy.
11:09Um, so we have on lad. Yeah. So these concussions on average do take a little over a week.
11:14We've seen actually three notable players, Concepcion, Sadiq and Jamar chase all come back without missing any time.
11:19Fortunately, they have the buy coming up. So I would expect him back week eight.
11:24Uh, and it may be good timing because those ribs from week one and two to now should be close to healed.
11:30That foot injury could use probably two weeks rest anyway.
11:33So, uh, this actually may be a buy low candidate.
11:36I don't know about staying healthy, but, uh, maybe a buy low candidate going forward.
11:40Scott, you agree with that? Buy low? Yeah, I do.
11:43I think if he was in college, it'd be a red shirt season.
11:47But, uh, at this point, especially cause they're playing so bad, but I think, uh, like Deepak said by it's a nice buy low opportunity.
11:54If you can afford it, right. If your bench is deep enough for you to, to add a guy like this and
12:00you can deal from depth to add it, add him and your wide receiver room is already good.
12:05I think it would be a really smart move to go and get a guy like lad, um, specifically with the entire team playing bad, right?
12:13The whole team playing bad means they're going to probably be playing catch up in a lot of games.
12:18And we like that garbage time for guys like lad.
12:21So, um, you know, moving forward, it would be nice, but I would assume he's going to be out again this week too.
12:28Yeah. I mean, just a, another loss anyway. Yeah.
12:30Yeah. Right. They're on a buy. So week eight, you would expect him back.
12:34Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Good. And then we have some quick hitters here.
12:38Some names bigger than the others, but the two that I wanted to get your thoughts on individually, uh, Lamar Jackson obviously missed the last two weeks.
12:46Um, and the Ravens lost to the Browns today fumble from Derek Henry, but what do you think he'll be back next week?
12:52What do you got on Lamar? Yeah. I think there's a pretty solid chance he plays this coming week.
12:58They talked about it early in the week, but then he never even logged any practice time.
13:03So, uh, he was ruled out, not super surprisingly, but the average on these mild high ankles is about two weeks.
13:09Now Lamar, you would expect him to come back at a pretty high level, especially wouldn't anticipate any degree of dip in his passing game production.
13:16And the rushing sometimes you'll see kind of a, that elusiveness decrease and that's key to Lamar's game.
13:21But, uh, the main thing is, you know, the Ravens, if he's on the field, obviously every that affects everybody around him too.
13:28So I would, I would say probably this week or next, but I would lean this coming week.
13:33Got it. Yeah. And, and Scott, so Lamar, you think, okay, when he's back, he's in your lineup, but we did see
13:39last year Lamar, this was, it was a hammy different injury, obviously.
13:43But when he came back, he was not the same Lamar.
13:46He had some tough performances last week. So do you, if, do you dare not start Lamar Jackson?
13:51If, if he's back next week, I'm, I'm this season, I'm going to be prepared for it.
13:56So I'm going to have a backup, you know, just in case.
13:59And, uh, you know, I, if the backup has a very good matchup the week that Lamar comes back and he doesn't,
14:06then, you know, maybe we get him in there.
14:08So, uh, I, I'm, I'm cautiously optimistic, but we saw a lot of this last year from Lamar as well.
14:14And you got to start wondering if this is a pattern in his career, you know, uh, he's run a lot, but
14:20the whole thing was for a long time. He was a guy that could, would slide or get out of bounds without getting hit.
14:27It was a lot of runs without taking extra damage.
14:30So, uh, slowing down a little bit, he's been being hit more specifically with a worse offensive line.
14:35So, um, you at least need to have a plan if you're rostering Lamar Jackson, even with a short bench, if you
14:42can afford to grab a quarterback and, and sit on him as a backup, I think I'm doing that.
14:47Yeah. And obviously like you've had to have a plan for him the last two weeks.
14:52So depending on what that plan was, then you could probably just keep rolling, rolling with that.
14:57Like if you can see chairs. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
14:59Yeah. So, all right. We got some, some, some quick hitters here that we'll do quickly so we can move on.
15:05Um, and I'll just go, I'll just go one by one.
15:08And then I, Deepak, you can just tell us if you have anything, but Don Kincaid left and came back with a rib injury.
15:15DJ Moore missed with a shoulder and the bills have a buy next week.
15:19So you can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm guessing we'll see him, um, next or when their next game is.
15:26So in two weeks and then shoulder for Rashad Bateman neck injury for Donald Mooney.
15:30Then we talked about Carson Steele with, with the shoulder.
15:33Yeah. So I think the big ones there, uh, Don Kincaid, now the ribs, you're often seeing players played through this.
15:39Mike Evans, Ladman Conkey, uh, both returned without any missed time.
15:42Uh, you, often do see a production hit that lasts about four weeks.
15:46So Dalton Kincaid, they're coming up on their buy.
15:48So I would anticipate him probably being out there in week eight, but you may not see full strength with DJ Moore.
15:55I would anticipate him being close to full strength by week eight.
15:58Uh, he logged a limited practice on Friday and you would sort of therefore expect his trajectory to play week seven if they had a game.
16:05But of course with the buy week eight, uh, then regarding Bateman, a little unclear, uh, truthfully, we have to kind of
16:12just see on the practice reports in terms of the mechanism for him.
16:15And, uh, and Carson Steele didn't look good. He was walking, he was kind of holding the shoulder.
16:21Uh, sometimes that can be a reflection of a stinger, but he didn't really release any info yet.
16:26So, uh, I think we hit the quick hits for you.
16:29Yeah. I didn't even see it. Deepak real quick.
16:32Uh, Devante Adams going down at the end of the Rams game.
16:35Did you catch that one? Cause I didn't even see it.
16:38Oh, I saw him. I saw him hobble over to the sideline and kind of get checked, but it wasn't, uh, I'm
16:44not sure if he had extra time. Like would he have been able to come back in?
16:49It's just, it was towards the end of the game.
16:52So a little bit hard to say for sure on that.
16:55Cause it was such a fresh. Yeah. Gotcha. Um, and then real quick and not on the, not on the, um, the
17:02doc, but just cause I'm curious, Baker Mayfield back next week.
17:05I think so. Uh, at least there's a very good chance.
17:08And if it's not next week, it should be the week after.
17:11Okay. Got it. Cool. All right. Well, um, as always appreciate you for joining us.
17:16I'm going to show you guys a quick video and then Scott and I will be back talking about, um, storylines, talking about storylines, but yeah, real quick.

18:39Okay, Chicken Nugget fans, I've got huge news. The new Burger King chicken nuggets just dropped and they are the crispiest, the
18:45juiciest, and the tastiest chicken nuggets ever at Burger King.
18:48Burger King heard that a lot of you didn't like the old chicken nuggets, so they got to work and reinvented them.
18:54To go along with the new chicken nuggets, a lot of the sauces were reinvented too because better chicken nuggets deserve better sauces.
19:01We're talking new buffalo sauce, honey mustard, sweet and sour, and even a whole new option too, the new special savory sauce,
19:07which is only available for a limited time at participating U.S.
19:10restaurants. I mean, you need to taste it all for yourself.
19:13This new chicken nugget, reinvented based on real feedback, is made with 100% white meat chicken and is now better than ever.
19:20You gotta try the new Burger King chicken nuggets and sauces today.
19:23All right, and real quick, before we start talking storylines, I want to talk to you guys about this new prediction market called Polymarket.
19:30It's a stock exchange for sports, buying in, selling out on your terms.
19:34When your team goes down to 20%, you buy in, you sell it off at 40% when they come back to double your money.
19:41They are so confident you'll never go back to the other guys.
19:44They're giving you a free $25 on your first trade when you deposit just 10.
19:48And now they've launched a new feature, Squads, a group chat where you can see what everyone is trading on.
19:54So download the Polymarket app today. Use FPPOD when you sign up.
19:58That's FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposited just 10.
20:01Now let's talk storylines. So we got five that Scott and I are going to talk to you guys about, not necessarily
20:07in order of importance, just in order of how they're written down on the doc.
20:11And we will start with the, I guess we'll start with next week's bye weeks real quick.
20:16Buffalo, Jacksonville, Chargers, Washington, some big names on like some big players that you're relying on missing next week.
20:22So just something to be more aware of. But number one, we saw some wide receivers get more involved this week.
20:28And I guess the question is, are they real?
20:30So Scott, talk about the receivers. Talk about whether we think they're real or not.
20:35Yeah. I mean, Carnell Tate has had a couple of good games now.
20:38Seven targets in this one. Six catches, 70 yards and a score against Indianapolis.
20:42Colt secondary has been good. Colts haven't been good.
20:45Obviously, there's a lot of hot seat talks about the Colts this week.
20:49Um, I think I'm like lukewarm on Carnell Tate.
20:51I think if someone has rage dropped him and you're sitting on Makai Lemon or Wicks, like we were talking about before,
20:57those are the type of guys that I would drop for Carnell Tate.
21:01I don't know that he is a buy in every single scenario though.
21:05So, but, uh, good things from Carnell Tate, even though, I mean, Cam Ward just looks so bad.
21:10And I was a buyer in him too. Like, uh, he, it just has not worked.
21:15So, um, looks like he is not long for that job after this season, but, uh, Carnell Tate has looked good when given the opportunity.
21:22So I do like it. I love the talent of Carnell Tate.
21:25I do not love the quarterback situation. Honestly, I wouldn't mind selling high on, on Carnell take.
21:30Cause I mean, Cam Ward threw for like 102 yards or something in this game.
21:34And Tate had 70 of it, 70% of the passing yards.
21:38That was the same thing in his other good game too.
21:41It was like 212 yards and he had like 110 of them or something.
21:45Yeah. And then last, but then sandwiched in between that, the meat of the good game sandwich was, uh, he did nothing
21:51against, um, I mean, Texas is good defense, but also not really this year.
21:55So I love Carnell Tate, the talent and a dynasty league.
21:58Obviously you're not doing anything with him, but, uh, for redraft, I wouldn't mind seeing what you can get for him.
22:04Not that I think he's going to be terrible every single week, but the whole point of selling high is you're getting something good back.
22:11Right. I would rather do that. If someone's buying on Carnell Tate, I would rather sell him.
22:16But, um, if he's on the waiver wire, there's probably, if you have Brian Thomas, you know, go buy.
22:22Yeah. We'll talk about why you would, but yeah.
22:24Yeah. And then, um, so DK Metcalf, two Steelers receivers, we're going to talk about them in a little more detail, but
22:31we could just do a quick one here. Uh, 15 targets for DK Metcalf, 11 for 93, Jeremy Bernard, Jeremy Bernard, Jeremy Bernard.
22:37I'm honestly not a hundred percent sure. Okay. Okay.
22:40It's just spelled different. It's supposed to be Jeremy, Jeremy.
22:43Okay. Jeremy Bernard, 12 targets, 11 receptions, 87 yards.
22:45Yeah. 12 targets, 11 receptions, 87 yards and a touchdown.
22:48What are we thinking about the Steelers receivers? You're a Steelers fan, right?
22:52What do you, what do you got for us?
22:55Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I really liked Jeremy Bernard and I think he is making more and more of an impact to
23:01kind of steal time away from Michael Pittman. My initial assessment of this last week was I had him like fourth in
23:07the waiver wire, not up near the top because yes, Michael Pittman's probably going to miss a month, maybe five weeks, six weeks.
23:14But when he comes back, he will be out there to block.
23:17That was kind of my initial assessment. Jeremy Bernard blocks pretty well, right?
23:21Started his pop Warner as a offensive lineman. So the dude knows how to block.
23:25And even though he doesn't have the same type of frame as Michael Pittman, but he's been making plays out there.
23:31So I think he's going to have sustained success and DK Metcalf.
23:35It's just nice to see him getting targets, getting more involved and winning in some contested situations.
23:40Him and Parrish had a nice battle. Parrish won most of it.
23:43I would say the first three quarters in that last quarter in overtime, it was DK Metcalf kind of bodying him.
23:49So just nice to see the Steelers offense getting in more of a rhythm.
23:53And I think both these guys are viable. Yeah, I've never been a huge DK Metcalf guy, but the utilization has been fantastic for him all year.
24:01It hasn't always worked out, but you kind of get that with somebody like him, a big play guy.
24:06But I love Jeremy Bernard. The way Aaron Rodgers talked about him, for me, if Aaron Rodgers trusts you, you're going to get targets.
24:13And for whatever reason, he did not like Michael Pittman.
24:16Did not like him. And Roman Wilson just went on the IR.
24:19He did love Roman Wilson. But Roman got stuck on the IR, I think, the same day Jalen did.
24:25So he's going to be out for at least four.
24:28Yeah, yeah. So we'll talk about them in a little more detail, but I just did want to mention them.
24:34And then Omar Cooper Jr., seven targets, six receptions, 103 yards, and a touchdown.
24:38First game back from IR. So you love to see that after a long stint off.
24:42Is it real? What do you think? I think it can be.
24:46And I always was kind of on the Omar Cooper side over Adonai Mitchell.
24:50Now, I had dropped Omar Cooper in a couple of my leagues after Adonai Mitchell went nuclear the first couple weeks here.
24:56But then he had the finger injury, the broken finger, and we didn't really get a lot of good information on how long he was going to miss.
25:04And then they said he had surgery because I was kind of expecting him back this week.
25:09So I ended up dropping Adonai in one league.
25:11And with Omar Cooper looking this good, and they already have Garrett Wilson, and Brees Hall is still going to come back at some point.
25:19There's a lot of moving pieces there. So I think I'm buying on Omar Cooper in deeper leagues.
25:24Of course, I'd rather have the three guys above him on this list.
25:27Sure. I think if you're in a deeper league or if you have just an empty spot, I think Omar Cooper is
25:34absolutely a guy we can add and might be able to – if he keeps performing like this, we'll be able to count on him.
25:41I don't think it's going to be like this every week, but nice performance from the rookie.
25:46Yeah, you like to see that from a rookie.
25:48And what we know about rookies is they always get better the second half of the year.
25:53The biggest issue for me is that Jets offense, they just play so slow.
25:57They're going to have games where they don't do anything, and then you're going to have games where Garrett Wilson gets 15
26:04targets, and it's just not – so, yeah. Not that I disagree with you.
26:08I just think that – Sure. Just to maybe be a little bit more cautious.
26:12But we can move on. The next one, we got some tight ends.
26:16So who's back of the week? We got some tight ends that might be back.
26:20Kyle Pitts, three touchdowns the last two weeks. Loveland and Caleb Williams' first start almost had a second touchdown, but he had a touchdown, 65 yards, six receptions.
26:28Do you think that these guys are back? Yeah, I do.
26:31I mean, Loveland, I think, was easy to kind of – it's easy to be mad at Loveland.
26:36You spent such a high pick on him, and he was so miserable.
26:40And it was one of those things where I even had him low in my rankings for this week because it was
26:46like, all right, well, let's see it. I'm tired of having you in my top 12 and you not doing anything.
26:52So I think I had him at like 14 or 15.
26:56But he got Caleb Williams back, and boy, did Caleb look pretty good.
26:59He looked good. Right? So right back there and throwing the ball to Loveland.
27:03So I think he's back. And then Kyle Pitts' usage really improved this week.
27:07That was the big thing because it was like a lot of Charlie Warner, and we're seeing him less and less specifically on 11 personnel.
27:14But this week he played a lot. Last week against Baltimore, he had five catches for 42 in the score and then
27:21five for 16 and two scores this week. So, yeah, or that was Pitts.
27:25I'm sorry. Loveland today, six for 65 in the score, like you said.
27:29He just barely missed the second one. So, yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:32I mean, I think I'm back in now that Caleb is back and that offense is humming a little bit.
27:37Yeah, I agree with you on both counts. The thing with Pitts is you just – you forgive the first two weeks of the year.
27:45Like Drake London didn't do anything. The Cooper rush starts, we don't talk about the Cooper rush starts.
27:50So, with Penix, it's definitely been better. But next thing we can talk about is the Giants.
27:55And crazy game for the Giants. Cam Scadaboo benched.
27:57He gave you a nice big goose if you started him.
28:00Then we saw Jameis Winston get benched for J.J.
28:03McCarthy, who proceeded to throw for 243 yards in like 11 minutes of game time.
28:07He threw a pick to start too. It was like, oh, God, what are we doing?
28:12Yeah, it's funny because Jameis is normally the one that does that.
28:15He comes in in the fourth quarter and starts bombing away.
28:18So, there was a little bit of a Freaky Friday situation.
28:22But we saw huge performances from – not huge.
28:24We saw – yeah, we can say huge. Big performances from Malik Neighbors and Isaiah Likely.
28:29But then the downside of this is the Giants running back snaps.
28:3214, Devin Singlethary. 13, Tyrone Tracy. 11 for Najee Harris.
28:35And 6 for Cam Scadaboo. I don't even know where to begin.
28:39Did he see the interview with Harbaugh after too?
28:41Yeah, it wasn't our plan to bench him. It wasn't by design.
28:45And then he said, we were down a bunch of points.
28:48So, we have our third down guys in there.
28:50And then they interviewed Cam. And he was like, I'm being punished for what I did last week.
28:55It's completely understandable. And I just want to be ready when my name is called by coach again.
29:01And that was – that's the correct answer. That's the only answer you can give and still stay in favor with a quarterback as well.
29:08So, I don't know how this is going to work out.
29:11Like, we got word about, you know, 30 minutes before kickoff that Najee Harris was going to be way more involved.
29:17And it was going to be at the expense of Cam Scadaboo.
29:20Which makes sense, right? After the big fumble that you were on a game-winning drive.
29:25And then, you know, probably should have lost. But then Jane Daniels screwed that up.
29:29So, I understand, like, the punishment aspect of this.
29:32But I think it is at the detriment of your team when you're benching.
29:36Really, you're not, but you are. You gave him six snaps.
29:39Like, when you're benching the best player in the backfield, I just think that's stupid.
29:43Like, yes, he fumbled. It was a big-time fumble.
29:46It was a huge mistake. But you got to let the guy pick it up and move on from that.
29:51So, Harbaugh being a hard-o about this is not going to be great in the long run.
29:56I do wonder which quarterback starts next week, though, as well.
29:59Would you lean towards J.J. McCarthy or Jameis here?
30:02I feel like you got to go J.J. But then I feel like we're going to get, you know, 13 completions on
30:0827 attempts for 119 yards if he starts next week.
30:11But I don't know how you – I mean, I don't know.
30:15I don't know how you go back to Jameis.
30:17But after – I mean, McCarthy, I've never been – after – like, I thought he was going to be good.
30:23Then he missed his rookie year. Then he was terrible.
30:26Then I was out. And I didn't think he had in him what he did today.
30:31But a lot of times you see weird garbage time stuff happen in the fourth quarter that doesn't necessarily – Jameis has made his career in garbage time.
30:39Joey Bursette was kind of like last year with so much garbage time work that it doesn't – and like when teams
30:45up big, they play defense differently, and then sometimes they can't – so I don't know.
30:50I think you start J.J., but I would definitely be cautious with my – At Houston.
30:54At Houston next week. So – and their defense has been terrible, right?
30:58Yeah. It's supposed to be good. It's been awful this year.
31:01Yeah, and they're – Same guys, too. I know.
31:04It makes no sense. And they're coming back from London.
31:07Yeah. So, yeah. I don't know. I mean, you're obviously not benching Malik or Isaiah Likely, but I'm definitely not expecting those
31:13type of performances from them next week, which you've gotten – I mean, Likely's been awesome this year.
31:18But anyways, we can move on. So we hinted at this.
31:21Aaron Rodgers at 41, 42 years young, playing the best football that he's played since he tore his Achilles.
31:27His last four weeks, 22.6, 21.96, so basically 22.
31:29Exactly 22 and 16 points. Now, the 16 is not great, but three straight 20-point performances.
31:34We talked about the receivers for the Steelers performing well.
31:37This offense we thought was going to be gross.
31:39I thought it was going to be gross heading into the year, but they've been good.
31:44Yeah, you take the last four weeks, and I think if you just average that out, he'd be like fourth among quarterbacks, right?
31:50But behind Allen Purdy and Goff. That's it at this point, just ahead of Joe Burrow as well.
31:56So that's kind of crazy. I didn't expect this to work like this, but the offense has been working for the Steelers, specifically after last week, right?
32:03I told her boy Seth, who is also a Steelers fan from Pennsylvania, and he was texting like, hey, at least the Steelers won.
32:10This was after my Longhorns lost to Oklahoma, of course.
32:13Yeah. And I said, yeah, it was weird to win a game without like four turnovers and six sacks and all of
32:19that, like the Steelers typically do, just to win with an offensive game.
32:23So Aaron Rodgers is humming right now, and if you've had problems with a quarterback, he might be your answer at this point.
32:30So, you know, I think he's absolutely viable, like better than like Tyler Shuck, who is apparently playing with a broken hand.
32:36Yeah. So, you know, that's kind of weird. He's been better than Patrick Mahomes.
32:40Obviously, Jalen Hurts is out. Justin Herbert's been a mess.
32:43So is Bo Nix, right? So there's a lot of down here in the quarterback market.
32:48And Aaron Rodgers is one of the few guys moving up, it seems like.
32:52Yeah. Next week, we got Josh Allen on by Trevor Lawrence on by Jaden Daniels on by also Justin Herbert, but hopefully nobody's starting him anymore.
32:59So, yeah, I mean, you can definitely stream. I don't know the matchup next week, but you could definitely stream Aaron Rodgers,
33:05assuming he's not playing like, I don't know, whatever the worst defensive matchup would be.
33:10It's the Saints in Paris this week. Oh, that's right.
33:13That's right. It's the Paris game. If they keep it.
33:15Okay. Yeah, you can start him. If you got a QB on by week or you got a Jalen Hurts injury and you're trying to figure it out.
33:23And then the last one we have here, this was the London game.
33:27So let's not forget about it. Huge day for Travis Hunter on nine offensive snaps, but they were meaningful offensive snaps.
33:33But the flip side of that is no, no BTJ.
33:36He didn't play at all in the second half.
33:39He needs to have the Marv treatment sent to whoever his college quarterback is and see if he can.
33:44But yeah, I mean, are we starting Travis Hunter?
33:47And by the way, you'd be sending him to Cleveland for Shadur.
33:50Sure. But, but I do think that I don't think that we can start Travis Hunter's nine snaps, right?
33:56Like he got usage in it and I had to go look it up too, because usually I follow Nate Yonke who does on PFF.
34:03He does like all the snap breakdowns and everything.
34:05But because Hunter plays on defense, he doesn't show up on the wide receiver one.
34:10So I had to go hunt it down through the other way.
34:13So and I saw it was nine snaps on offense and 62 on defense.
34:17He's still primarily a defensive player. But if they are going to start using him, I think Travis Hunter is the best
34:23wide receiver on the Jaguars, including Parker Washington. If they moved him to that side, this is a Heisman winner, right?
34:29Incredible athlete, unbelievable. But they need him more in the secondary.
34:33So I think he's going to stay mainly playing on defense.
34:36He'll have a couple of nice plays and big games on the offensive side.
34:40But with nine snaps, that just guarantees you close to nothing.
34:43So it's just really hard to to pick him up and then also be willing to start him.
34:48So if you have a really deep bench and you want to add him just to see if he starts to, you
34:54know, tick up those offensive snaps, then I'm all for that.
34:58But if you're in a normal league with a normal bench, I think you probably let somebody else use their fab on him.
35:04Yeah, I think you put in a zero dollar claim and then you try to trade him.
35:09That's that's my plan. See if somebody just wants the big name.
35:12But all right. We we can move on. The next segment that we're going to do here is panic meter where you
35:19guys in the chat will give us your players.
35:21And then Scott and I will give us your our panic meter on those players.
35:26But before we do that, I want to talk to you guys about the waiver planner so you can take the guesswork
35:32out of the waiver wire with the fantasy pros waiver planner.

35:51Build your personalized waiver plan today at fantasy pros dot com slash plan.
35:55That's fantasy pros dot com slash plan. And now we're talking panic meter.
35:59So like I said, get those names in the chat and we will give you our panic on those players.
36:05One means we're not panicking at all. Ten means we're in full blown panic mode.
36:09And while you guys are doing that, I put some in the chat here or in our in our notes here just to get us started.
36:16Cam Scott of it. We just talked about him one to ten.
36:20What's your panic meter on cam? How could it be lower than like an eight and a half or a nine?
36:26Right. Yeah. He had six snaps today and didn't have a touch.
36:29So, uh, I mean, unless we hear different from the coaching staff specifically, like we are going to get Cam Scott of it.
36:36More involved. He has to stay on your bench.
36:39I wouldn't recommend dropping him yet because he's still the best running back by a lot on the giants.
36:44Right? Like Najee is older, hasn't been that good and is coming off an entry.
36:48Uh, Tyrone Tracy scored the touchdown here. I know, but I still don't trust him.
36:53And I don't know why single Terry was active this week.
36:56Right? It was because Cam Scott of who fumbled.
36:58I think they're making a big production out of, uh, nothing, which is dumb.
37:02But, uh, I, I expect him to be back involved, but until I see it, it's really hard to start him.
37:08So, uh, and they play the Texans this week, they should be using him, but I don't know if they will.
37:14I am totally in total agreement that it's bad coaching.
37:17I mean, like you see the best coaches go back to their, go back to their guys and put faith in them.
37:24Like you think he knows that he shouldn't fumble, but anyways, that's not what we're talking about.
37:28So I'm with you. I'll, I'll go nine on, uh, Cam Scott of who you can't drop him.
37:34Probably can't trade him. Can't start him. So you just wait it out at this point.
37:38But, uh, we got from Trizo, Sam two saints players, Olave and, and Juwan Johnson.
37:42Shuck has not been tearing it up. Like he has the past couple or the beginning of the week or sorry, beginning of the year.
37:50He has not the past couple of weeks, obviously some tough matchups like the Vikings a couple of weeks ago.
37:55We've got the broken hand. It's got an offensive line injury that I think is probably the most important of all of that.
38:02So anyways, what is your, what is your panic meter on Olave and Juwan?
38:06Yeah, I think it's probably like a six on these guys.
38:09Like there's nothing you can really do. You're not going to bench Olave.
38:13You're still going to start him next week and, uh, roll with them.
38:17I would say that if the terrible play continues from Shuck, they'll probably go to Rattler, I guess.
38:22Uh, we'll see. That's not a great, but Chris Olave is, uh, fairly QB proof, not completely.
38:27I don't know that anyone is completely, but fairly QB proof.
38:30And, uh, I think that he'll be okay. Juwan Johnson.
38:33I would be more concerned. I would say that probably the same, uh, you know, ballpark.
38:37I would be more concerned. Maybe I'm less concerned because I feel like there's tight ends on the wire that you can add.
38:44Um, and I don't think if you are starting Juwan Johnson, you've probably never really been married to him.
38:49So, uh, less for Juwan just because of the nature of where he is a little more panicky on Olave, but I
38:56do think it'll get straightened out fairly quickly. And I think the whole offense will be better when Etienne comes back.
39:02Agreed. Yeah. Agree with you. I'm a little bit lower on the panic.
39:05I think that there'll be fine. I think they play so fast that they're going to have games where they're just running up and down the field.
39:13So I'm like probably a three on Olave, a little bit higher on Juwan Johnson because I mean, at this point he's like 30 years old.
39:21It's not like there's that upside there. And I think it might've just been a hot touchdown start for him.
39:26That it's kind of gets just going to fade.
39:29Um, but we can, we can go, um, here to sir, sir, Dinesh.
39:33What do I do with AJ Brown? So panic meter one to 10 on AJ, we kind of talked about it, but what do you got?
39:40Um, I'm, I'm not panicking about him. I think we talked about this a little bit, like knocking the rust off.
39:46The hands are, the hands are not great, right?
39:49Like, uh, obviously that's not a good thing, but unless you start to get benched like Cam Scadaboo for the mistakes that
39:55you're making, it doesn't really matter that much. So, uh, you know, I do, I do think that AJ Brown's going to
40:01be fine and you're just going to leave him in your starting lineup.
40:05Totally agree. Yeah. Not one. I'm not concerned about AJ Brown at all.
40:09I love the targets. I'll probably take him in a, in a bet next week, but, um, we can move on.
40:15And so we're going to, the last thing we're going to do here, got about 10 minutes to answer your guys' questions,
40:21but before we do, we got to talk about the custom fantasy football trophy that I want to talk to you guys about.

41:03And that's it. We'll be announcing a winner right here on the channel.
41:07So make sure to turn on notifications. Don't miss your chance to claim your prize and let's talk questions.
41:12So get your questions in the chat. We got about 10 minutes before Sunday night football starts.
41:17So, um, like I said, yeah, get your questions in the chat.
41:21We'll go through as many as we can before we have to get on out of here and we'll just go through it.
41:27So, um, we talked about Scadaboo so we can do this one, one quickly.
41:31Mr. Aaron is yeah. Great name. Um, is Scadaboo cooked?
41:34Yes or no? I don't think he's cooked. Uh, like, like we talked about before, I still think he is the best running back on the giants.
41:42And I think at some point seeing how this run game was today, they are going to have to put him back in.
41:49So not panicking, not dropping. I don't think he's cooked yet.
41:52Agreed. We can move on from Michael Sullivan. Uh, do you sell high on Devante Smith and full transparency?
41:57I didn't watch that game. Um, what do you think you sell high on Devante?
42:02I don't know that you can sell high on Devante Smith right now, right?
42:06Like he's still performing well. So if someone, you know, if you're in a Ruben boob league and you can trade him
42:12as someone that doesn't pay as much attention as you then great.
42:15But I think most people are paying attention and most people understand that Jalen is gone.
42:20I don't know that this hurts him that much.
42:22Jalen wasn't great at passing the ball anyway. So, uh, I think I'm okay with holding on, uh, to Devante Smith and
42:29seeing what he does with Tanner McKee. I think you send some offers.
42:33Like the worst people say is no, that's the cut.
42:35That's like how, how I like to kind of go about things.
42:39I don't necessarily think like, I've always been like, I don't think I like Jalen hurts, but I don't necessarily think that
42:45going from him to, to Tanner McKee is a huge downgrade for Devante Smith, because what you like about Jalen is a
42:51lot other than being a dropback passer, which is what Tanner McKee is.
42:55So, um, their offensive line and dealing with pressure is, is a bigger issue than the quarterback.
43:00So he had, he had a lot of targets today.
43:03He scored the touchdown. He's got great matchups coming up.
43:06So if you can get a hall for him, then sure.
43:09But I'm not trying to sell him. Um, and we can move on Axel Gonzalez.
43:13Do you think Milton will start a game this year?
43:16Bazooka Joe. I don't think I would put it completely out of the realm of possibility, specifically if Jalen does have to
43:22miss the entire year is Deepak kind of alluded to blood clots and all that stuff being a six to 12 week
43:29timeline with most taking more closer to 12 than six.
43:32So I wouldn't completely rule it out, but I think McKee's been there for a long time.
43:37He knows this offense. I would expect Mickey to start most of the games unless he's just looking really terrible.
43:42Yeah. Barring injury. I don't think that we're going to see Milton.
43:46I mean, he's fun. He's not that great of a quarterback.
43:49Unfortunately, that's the problem with, he can throw it 900 yards, but I don't necessarily, I mean, we haven't seen him.
43:55So maybe we don't know, but in the limited time we have, it hasn't been great.
43:59So I would say barring injury. I would, I would get, I would guess no.
44:04And I don't think he's worth picking up and stashing or anything like that.
44:08Um, from J red 97 99. My horrible running backs in PPR are Irving Pollard and Ramondre Stevenson.
44:13Do I pick up Roshon Johnson? No, uh, like I think common on guys back next week.
44:18So I don't think I would pick up where Sean had nice usage today.
44:22So I'm not going to say it's completely a no.
44:25If you're in a super deep league, then, uh, maybe I look at throwing a couple bucks on Roshon and just seeing if I can get him.
44:32But I think for the most part, I don't, I don't see you starting him over any of the guys that you listed.
44:39So, uh, I I'm probably going to leave him on the wire for someone else that.
44:44Yeah, I would, if you have a spot, I think he's probably worth picking up in the off chance that when a guy doesn't play.
44:51I also think that he plays, maybe we could have asked Deepak that, but maybe, maybe you start him over Ramondre, but probably not.
44:58But like I said, he's, he's at least worth picking up in case that when a guy misses again, cause toe injuries
45:04can be, can be a little weird from JP Tay Bogman.
45:07What is going on with the Rams? They barely score on the 32nd.
45:11Yeah. That green was crazy. They, they mean losing to the Cardinals is wild.
45:15Uh, yeah, it really is. So what's going on with the Rams?
45:18I think the Rams are going to be okay, but obviously, uh, it has not looked good yet this year and, um, I, Kyron has still been good.
45:26Like most of the pieces has still been good.
45:29I think this was like the first down game for Puka where he played the full game.
45:34Uh, Devante getting hurt at the end of the game.
45:37We're going to have to see what happens there, but Blake Corm has been in and out.
45:42He's been in the last two weeks. He was out before that.
45:45So I, I think they're going to be okay.
45:48You know, this was a division rivalry game. So, you know, these typically play a little bit closer and I think, I
45:54think they made some coaching mistakes, right? It's tough to lose to six field goals.
45:58That's not something that typically happens. So, uh, I think there'll be okay moving forward, but it's less and less of a guarantee every single week.
46:06Um, Matthew Stafford, Matthew Stafford is even looking crazy old yet, but he is looking like he's not moving very well.
46:12So, uh, I think it'll get better. Um, you know, beyond this week, but that was a really terrible performance and you
46:18are right to be a little concerned for sure.
46:21Yeah. I mean, from like a fanhood perspective, for sure, from a fantasy perspective, you're right.
46:25I mean, like you're happy with, with the players on the Rams.
46:29They're just also two and four. So it's like, you know, I don't know where, I don't know what you can really
46:35do other than you're obviously playing those guys and you just hope that they, the team themselves gets better.
46:40Um, Corm's the only guy that waivers everybody else.
46:43You're rolling for sure. Yeah. Fair. Yeah. Fair. So funny, awesome person.
46:4690 should add humble in there as well. Um, we talked about him, so we don't have to go super long here, but thoughts on Devante without Jalen.
46:54Should I, I'm guessing trade him taking advantage of from his good fantasy performance.
46:58I mean, if you can trade him, uh, I get it.
47:02But, uh, I, I think like we said before, Tanner McKee might, uh, I don't think much changes.
47:07So I'm, I'm going to roll with Devante Smith if I'm rostering him.
47:11Yeah. See if you can like package him for like him plus another player for an upgrade.
47:15See if like maybe somebody had a down week this week.
47:19Um, but yeah, other than that, you're not, you're not, I don't think you're getting a haul for him anyway.
47:24So I'm kind of with you. Jeremy Padden, 58, 57.
47:27Do I trade or bench Lad McConkie or Amari and Hampton?
47:30Well, this week you're lucky. You don't have to play them.
47:33You don't have to make that decision, but moving forward, do you trade or bench Lad McConkie and Amari and Hampton?
47:40I don't trade, uh, Lad. I don't think you can trade Omari and Hampton, but if you can, I would see what
47:46type of offers you get because they've been splitting up this backfield three different ways.
47:50I think Mitchell was the guy out of the loop this week and Hampton has always kind of been there, but he hasn't looked good, right?
47:58Vidal has looked better than him for the most part.
48:00So, uh, I don't think there's much you can do with Hampton.
48:04I don't think there's a lot of guys that I would cut him for specifically this week.
48:09Um, and Lad, uh, you know, he should be back the next week.
48:13And like Deepak said, if he does have to miss another week, it's probably good to rest these other injuries that he's had, but they're on a buy.
48:21So he should be back, uh, in week eight.
48:23So we should be fine with him. Yeah. I don't know what you could get for them.
48:28So you're probably just have to, I mean, this week, obviously you're not playing, but you probably just have to hold.
48:34Um, but so we got two questions from will fricking power, but this one I thought was a little bit better because
48:40it's a little more like an easier yes or no, um, question to answer.
48:44Would you trade a Buka or burden straight up for chase Brown?
48:48This is a pretty, pretty clear. Yes. For me.
48:50Uh, do you disagree? Yeah, not at all now.
48:53And I don't, I don't love what's happening with chase Brown in the backfield and then giving us some Ajay P Ryan
48:59more, but you know, these are wide receiver two to threes like flex guys and chase Brown has a chance to be a game changer for you.
49:07So if you can do those trades, I'd absolutely do them.
49:10Yeah. And it's, you know, it's, we've seen two straight years heading into this year, chase Brown's being significantly better the second
49:16half of the year than the first half. It happens a lot with the Bengals offense, but I agree with you.
49:23The utilization is what's the, is what's the scary part with chase Brown.
49:26Like you could explain away the rough start the last two years splitting time with Zach Moss two years ago, last year
49:33it was, um, Jake Browning was the quarterback. So either way I am doing either.
49:37I would, I'm doing either one of those trades.
49:39And if, if you had to choose which receiver, like who do you like better between a Buka or burden, meaning I like a Buka better.
49:47Oh, interesting. Okay. I would say, I would say burden.
49:50Um, but see whoever the chase Brown manager likes better.
49:53And either one of those we're, we're both good with.
49:56Yeah. I'd be good trading either one of them.
49:58Yeah. Yeah. Um, all right. This will be the last question.
50:01Cause then you guys got to watch Sunday night football, but I thought this was a good one, uh, from Saquon FTW.
50:08What do we think about Warren now that doubtle is back?
50:11And I thought about adding this, sorry to interrupt you.
50:14I thought about adding this to the, when we talked about the Steelers.
50:17Um, but yeah. So yeah. What do you, what do you think?
50:21I think Warren is still the guy. And specifically, I think the reason I think he's going to be the guy is what we saw in overtime, right?
50:29Was at the end, they just, they, they used them as a closer pretty much was he had the, he took the ball.
50:35He bled the clock, led the Steelers down the field.
50:38Rogers is looking to dump it off to him all the time because he's looking for those short routes.
50:44So he doesn't get hit. So I think it's still Warren, but that'll is going to eat in right.
50:49And might be annoying occasionally near the goal line as well.
50:52So, uh, this gets more complicated than it was, but I still think Jalen is the guy at Pittsburgh.
50:58Yeah, I agree with you. And he was never going to continue to play 90% of the snaps.
51:03That was, that was just kind of like, Hey, like, we're just going to run you into the ground until doubtle comes back.
51:10It was always going to be more of a split, but Warren's awesome.
51:13Rogers likes him. Dadle, dadle has not looked good even before the toe injury.
51:17So I'm not today. Yeah. Yeah. He did better today.
51:20Better today. Yeah. A couple of big rip runs.
51:23So he looked better, but I was kind of hoping he was going to doubtle, you know, he was going to do
51:29to doubtle what dadle did to Chuba last year because I have a lot of shares of Jalen Warren, but we didn't get that lucky.
51:36No, no, we didn't, but cool. All right. Well, thank you everybody for joining us.

52:57I did Mike Tyson. Oh, well, Mike Tyson and boost are here to tell you that your mobile plan is punching you
53:03in the mouth with prices that can knock you out.
53:06That's a low blow. Totally. But you can do something about it.
53:09You have to punch back. No, Mike. You gotta switch to boost with a plan that's $25 a month forever.
53:15Oh, that's a great plan. Maybe you can do both.
53:18Boost Mobile. What's your plan? In military families, service is more than a job.
