A.J. Brown

NegativeValue44:03

A 5-0 team with strong depth (Olave and Zay Flowers as WR1 and WR2) can afford to trade AJ Brown as a WR3 to upgrade at tight end. Christian Mccaffrey recommends packaging Brown with a running back to trade to a 1-4 team for Brock Bowers, rather than trading Brown alone.

Insight page
NegativeValue45:15

In a trade discussion for a 1-4 team seeking to acquire two starting-caliber pieces, AJ Brown is positioned as a primary target alongside a running back. The source suggests a 5-0 team could trade Brown away, but notes that a 1-4 team may not want to acquire him alone—they need two pieces to start in their lineup. The trade logic centers on whether the acquiring team can field two starters from the deal.

Insight page

AJ Dillon

NegativeRole29:00

AJ Dillon is mentioned in context of Aaron Rodgers' quarterback behavior and target distribution; speaker uses Dillon as an example of how Rodgers shadows receivers who make mistakes.

Insight page

Bijan Robinson

NegativeRole46:26

Bijan Robinson is referenced as part of a roster discussion where a team has both Bijan and Chase Brown as running backs. The source discusses whether trading Chase Brown and AJ Brown together would be a viable trade package, suggesting Bijan is the primary back on the roster.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:14

Discussed in context of handcuffing strategy in an eight-man league; speaker notes that handcuffing Bijan with Kenneth Walker makes the team less viable in shallow formats due to bench space constraints.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:28

Bijan Robinson is mentioned in a handcuffing discussion where a caller indicates they own both Bijan and Kenneth Walker in an 8-man league. The caller expresses concern that handcuffing both backs makes their team less viable, suggesting Bijan is a primary back they're considering handcuffing.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveRole7:46

Allen is ranked RB 14 and the source is comfortable with him despite a suboptimal matchup, noting that the Packers will use him in middle dump passing situations; Gainwell's presence does not eliminate Allen from the passing game.

Insight page

Brian Robinson

PositiveRole40:00

Mentioned as a handcuff option but speaker explicitly states 'I'm not really interested in the Brian Robinson one,' indicating lower priority compared to Emma Johnson as a handcuff target.

Insight page

Brock Bowers

PositiveValue44:03

Bowers is valuable enough that a 5-0 team should consider trading for him at tight end, though Christian Mccaffrey advises against trading a single piece (like AJ Brown alone) to a 1-4 team. Instead, the 5-0 team should package AJ Brown with another piece (preferably a running back) to convince the struggling 1-4 team to move Bowers, as a 1-4 team needs multiple starting-caliber pieces to justify a trade.

Insight page

Chase Brown

NegativeValue46:26

Chase Brown is discussed as a potential trade piece in a package deal. The source suggests trading Chase Brown alongside AJ Brown to acquire additional pieces for a 1-4 team, positioning Chase Brown as expendable if it helps consolidate talent.

Insight page

Chris Godwin

NegativeMatchup28:14

Godwin is presented as a flex option in a half-PPR league choice between him, Jeremy Bernard, and Jawan Johnson, but is not recommended over the other two options.

Insight page

Chris Olave

NegativeValue45:39

Chris Olave is identified as a potential trade piece in a package deal for a 1-4 team. The source suggests trading Olave plus a tight end to acquire Bowers, positioning Olave as expendable in a multi-player trade aimed at upgrading the roster with two starting-caliber pieces.

Insight page

Christian McCaffrey

NegativeRole41:08

Used as example in handcuff discussion; speaker suggests that owning Christian McCaffrey creates natural desire to handcuff with Kalen Black for injury insurance, particularly in deeper leagues where bench space allows.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

NegativeRole10:28

Colston Loveland is on the roster of the caller and could be considered as a flex play option. With Caleb Williams back, there may be more upside with Loveland compared to Dallas Goddard, though Goddard still maintains a floor as a flex play despite the Eagles' quarterback change.

Insight page
NegativeRole46:50

Colston Loveland is mentioned as a tight end option in the context of a 1-4 team's roster that lacks a viable tight end (has Pitts). Loveland is referenced as a potential tight end to include in a trade package, suggesting he may be available on the waiver wire or as a low-value asset.

Insight page

Corey Kiner

NegativeRole25:15

Passed over in favor of Najee Harris; lacks goal-line opportunities and does not receive the same workload; not recommended as a pickup in deep leagues.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

NegativeRole48:22

Mentioned as part of speaker's eight-man league roster alongside Bijan Robinson and Kenneth Walker; context suggests handcuffing multiple running backs in shallow leagues creates roster inefficiency.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:58

D'Andre Swift is mentioned as part of a caller's running back roster in an 8-man league where they also own Bijan Robinson and Kenneth Walker. Swift is referenced as another running back option on the roster, suggesting the caller has multiple backs and is considering handcuffing strategy.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeRole43:42

With Jalen Hurts out, Goedert remains a safety net option for the backup quarterback, though Christian Mccaffrey expects his volume to remain similar. The Eagles offense was already struggling, and while it could get worse, the matchup against the Panthers (a weak defense) provides some opportunity. Christian Mccaffrey prefers Goedert over Higby despite the quarterback change.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

NegativeInjury10:09

Devonta Smith is likely not going to play in Week 6 against the Panthers, further limiting the Eagles' offensive weapons alongside Jalen Hurts' absence and Saquon Barkley's potential unavailability.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

NegativeValue24:04

Handcuff option available on waivers; value is contingent on Ken Walker injury; Christian Mccaffrey notes this is a good time to pick him up coming off the bye to evaluate the team's plan for implementation, though Charbonnet is the preferred hold in this scenario.

Insight page
PositiveRole42:00

Johnson could be an interesting play if Barkley is active; Christian Mccaffrey likes the spot for him to get more involved in the backfield, positioning him as a preferred option over Pierce in a three-way committee.

Insight page

Jalen Hurts

NegativeInjury4:08

Jalen Hurts is inactive for Week 6 due to a blood clot issue and will not play against the Panthers. Tanner McKee is expected to start at quarterback for the Eagles.

Insight page
NegativeValue46:20

Jalen Hurts is mentioned in the context of a trade discussion where the source references 'Tootin' and Brown' as a potential trade package. While the exact context is unclear from the transcript, Hurts appears to be part of a trade consideration for a 1-4 team seeking to acquire multiple starting pieces.

Insight page

James Cook

NegativeRole48:45

James Cook is mentioned in the context of a handcuffing discussion in a 14-team league. A caller indicates they have James Cook and are considering whether to handcuff him with his backup, suggesting Cook is a primary running back in their roster construction.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveMatchup11:22

Juwan Johnson is the preferred tight end start this week against the Giants, who have a poor defense. Johnson should be started over Goddard and Loveland in the tight end slot.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup23:41

Passed over in favor of Tucker Craft in a tight end start/sit decision for a half-point PPR league.

Insight page
PositiveRole28:28

Johnson is preferred by one Christian Mccaffrey over Jeremy Bernard and Chris Godwin in a half-PPR flex decision. The source likes Johnson and notes that the sample size with him and Tyler Shuck is much larger than Bernard's sample with Rodgers, making Johnson a more reliable option.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeMatchup31:18

Kendra Miller has short-term appeal facing the Giants but speaker expresses skepticism about his upside; notes the Patriots offense cannot run the football effectively, so Miller could 'air ball' and disappoint despite the favorable matchup.

Insight page

Kendrick Bourne

PositiveProjection14:14

Kendrick Bourne is a strong flex play option for Week 6, with Christian Mccaffrey expressing love for him in the matchup. He is projected to see significant volume down the middle with approximately seven catches. Bourne is preferred over Trey Tucker, Makai Lemon, and Damian Pierce as a flex option.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

NegativeRole24:35

Discussed as a handcuff target; speaker notes Kenneth Walker has injury history and Emma Johnson is expected to see bell cow role if Walker gets injured, making the handcuff relationship valuable in deeper leagues but problematic in shallow formats like eight-man leagues.

Insight page
NegativeRole48:28

Kenneth Walker is mentioned as a handcuff option in an 8-man league where a caller owns both Kenneth Walker and Bijan Robinson. The caller expresses concern that holding both backs reduces roster flexibility, suggesting Kenneth Walker is being held as a backup/handcuff.

Insight page

Kimani Vidal

NegativeRole42:00

Vidal has the most 'proof of concept' among the backup running back options discussed, suggesting he has demonstrated production or opportunity in previous weeks.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

NegativeRole46:50

Kyle Pitts is referenced as the tight end on a 1-4 team's roster, but the source indicates the team effectively doesn't have a viable tight end option, suggesting Pitts is not performing or not being used effectively. This context implies Pitts is not a reliable starting tight end for the team.

Insight page

Makai Lemon

NegativeProjection15:00

Makai Lemon is not recommended as a flex play option for Week 6. The analysts explicitly state they do not want to play Lemon in the flex spot.

Insight page

Malik Washington

NegativeValue16:02

Malik Washington was offered in a trade for Ollie Gordon at a late third-round pick, which the analysts consider insufficient value. The analysts recommend not accepting this offer and instead holding out for at least a second-round pick.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeMatchup15:00

Michael Wilson is expected to be shut down in Week 6 due to defensive coverage schemes. The opposing defense is expected to focus coverage on Wilson, limiting his fantasy upside.

Insight page

Najee Harris

PositiveRole25:15

Recommended pickup over Corey Kiner in a deep league; gets goal-line opportunities that Kiner does not; receives full-blown workload usage; positioned as the next man up if Cam Skadaboo goes down, with Singletary inactive the last couple games; analysts have him on their benches in deep leagues.

Insight page
PositiveDepth Chart25:42

Harris is viewed as the handcuff/backup to Cam Skadaboo in Pittsburgh; if Skadaboo goes down, Harris is considered the next guy up. Singletary has been inactive the last couple games, solidifying Harris's backup role. In a 16-team deep league, the source prefers Harris on the bench over Roman Wilson.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveRole25:03

Listed as part of strong receiver depth in a deep league; owner is well-stocked at the position.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon II

NegativeValue16:02

Ollie Gordon is valued at approximately a late second-round pick in 2027 dynasty leagues. In a rebuilding dynasty team context, Gordon should be traded for at least a second-round pick, as his value to a non-competing team is minimal. His value is primarily to a competing team that needs an RB1 for the rest of the season. Christian Mccaffrey recommends playing hardball in trade negotiations and not accepting a late third-round pick, as Gordon's value next year is little to none.

Insight page
PositiveValue19:32

In dynasty trade discussions, the source advocates playing hardball for Ollie Gordon rather than accepting undervalued offers; a second-round pick is characterized as more than fair value, with the rationale that Gordon has shown he can play in the NFL and could open next year as a backup to a team's invested running back coming off injury, making him worth holding out for proper compensation rather than accepting a third-round pick in a rebuild.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveRole25:03

Listed as part of strong receiver depth in a deep league; owner is well-stocked at the position.

Insight page

Ray Davis

NegativeRole38:45

Discussed as handcuff to James Cook in 14-team league; speaker notes that while Ty Johnson gets involved in the offense, Ray Davis would receive a workload boost if Cook gets injured, making him a valuable insurance hold in deeper formats.

Insight page

Roman Wilson

NegativeRole25:03

Benched in favor of running back pickups in a deep league where the owner has strong receiver depth (Nico Collins, Parker Washington, Shalen Coker, Lad McConkie); owner considering dropping him to add running back help.

Insight page
PositiveValue25:57

In a 16-team deep league, the source prefers to roster Najee Harris on the bench over Roman Wilson, indicating Wilson is not a priority target in deep formats.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeInjury10:16

Saquon Barkley's status is uncertain for Week 6 against the Panthers. If he is unavailable, Damian Pierce would have the most volume potential as the Eagles' running back, potentially seeing 30+ carries and receiving targets out of the backfield.

Insight page
NegativeInjury41:36

Barkley's status is uncertain for the week; the source does not expect him to play, but if he is active, Pierce's value drops significantly and other backup options become more attractive.

Insight page

Tanner McKee

NegativeRole5:00

Tanner McKee is expected to start at quarterback for the Eagles against the Panthers after Jalen Hurts was ruled out with a blood clot. Andy Dalton was cut from the Eagles after throwing an interception on one play. McKee was highly regarded by the Eagles organization at one point.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveMatchup14:14

Trey Tucker is a strong flex play option if Saquon Barkley is active. The matchup is favorable due to the opposing defense being horrible. Tucker is preferred over Makai Lemon but is slightly behind Kendrick Bourne as a flex option.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveMatchup23:41

Recommended as the start over Juwan Johnson at tight end in a half-point PPR league; both analysts agreed on Craft as the preferred play.

Insight page

Ty Johnson

NegativeUsage38:45

Noted as receiving significant involvement in the offense alongside James Cook; speaker mentions 'they love Ty Johnson. Like, he gets involved a lot,' suggesting he's a factor in the backfield that affects Ray Davis's handcuff value.

Insight page

Zach Charbonnet

PositiveRole23:58

Recommended to keep on IR rather than drop for a handcuff; expected to be activated after next week; Seahawks are trying to add help at running back (Joe Mixon pursuit mentioned), suggesting Charbonnet remains the primary option moving forward despite Janarian Price being banged up.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

PositiveProjection44:03

Flowers is strong enough as a WR2 that a 5-0 team should not trade him away; he is part of the core that has enabled the team to reach 5-0 without needing AJ Brown to contribute significantly.

Insight page
NegativeValue45:18

Zay Flowers is discussed as a potential trade piece in a multi-player deal for a 1-4 team. The source expresses reluctance to trade Flowers alone, suggesting instead that Flowers plus another piece (like a tight end) could be packaged to acquire a higher-value target like Bowers. Flowers is referenced as a WR2 or flex option on the 1-4 team's roster.

1:17Doing a wedding where Christian McCaffrey was did not allow a Christian McCaffrey bet to cash, but you still had a great time though, Erickson.
1:24Oh, immaculate time at my sister's wedding. One of my best friends from college.
1:28He got married the next day. There was a lot of driving, a few alcoholic adult bevies.
1:33But other than that, it was a lot of fun.
1:36A lot of good food, dancing. I'm a monster on the dance floor.
1:40Erickson, I can attest. Erickson is a straight G on the floor.
1:44I have videos on my phone. I got videos of Erickson riding a bull.
1:48I have videos of Erickson doing multiple spots of karaoke.
1:51I've got like three different karaoke spots. And from our last New Orleans trip, you were cutting some rugs.
1:56You were rocking it. Now, you are a party man.
1:59You are a man of the party when it is going on.
2:03So I can only imagine how fun the wedding was.
2:06At my friend's wedding on Sunday morning, so his was on the Saturday, came up to me and I said, okay, congratulations.
2:12Like, was it everything you wanted? He was like, it was perfect.
2:16I was like, everything I wanted. And he was like, you're the life of the party, man.
2:21And I was like, that's all I needed to hear.
2:24I've done my job. As one of the groomsmen, did my job.
2:27And I am not, I'm definitely not the life of a party.
2:31I'm fun to talk to, but I am in no way the life of the party.
2:35But I am an instigator. I am a fun instigator.
2:38Like, I'm not necessarily the one that's going to be like the fun, but I push the fun and I push people into the fun.
2:45So Erickson and I are a great combination. But bottom line, you want to hang out with the group of us.
2:52That's what you want. So Cornwallis is asking in the chat, what's your karaoke song?
2:56I'm a rebel yell guy. That is a good shout.
2:59For some reason, anytime I drive to weddings as well, I always, white wedding will always play on the radio whenever I'm
3:05going from these weddings because it knows what's about to go down.
3:09For me, my karaoke song, I think you know this well, it's Mr.
3:13Brightside. Yeah, yeah. I was about to say, because you did Mr.
3:16Brightside in Vegas and Tennessee, but then- I do it everywhere.
3:19You do it everywhere. But then when we were in New Orleans, I remember we went into this insane karaoke place and
3:26just Erickson just beelined it for the karaoke-like book to see if Mr.
3:30Brightside was there, but then it was too crowded.
3:32I have a new submission I want us to do, especially if we ever do an event thing, I'm on a boat.
3:39That is what Erickson and I are going to be singing because we did karaoke that together one time.
3:44So that'll be ours. We will do the Lonely Island at some point.
3:48But I know some of you guys are having a panic attack right now.
3:52It's not just about karaoke and parties and fun.
3:55It's about the NFL. By the way, not only do we have our audience here, we're going to answer questions.
4:01We just got breaking news before we jumped into this podcast.
4:04It actually happened, I don't know, four minutes after we did the tailgate.
4:08Jalen Hurts is going to be inactive for this week's game.
4:11We knew there was like some injury going on, but it looks like it's like a blood clot issue.
4:17He will not be playing. So my tailgate prediction of the Panthers are going to beat the Eagles.
4:22It looks a lot more stupid now because I think the lines have flipped a bit.
4:27But no Jalen Hurts this week. Yeah, the betting lines open earlier in the week because I do the look ahead show with Worm on Mondays.
4:34Those lines were the Panthers were catching like two and a half points, playing on the road against the Philadelphia Eagles.
4:40And now it is the Eagles are three point underdogs at home.
4:44And it's going to be Tanner McKee. I assume that's under center because Andy Dalton got cut from the Eagles after he
4:50threw that interception when he came in for one play.
4:53So I believe that's the current way that the roster is set up.
4:57Again, we'll get more news about who is actually starting.
5:00But I believe it's going to be Tanner McKee, who the Eagles were really high on at one point.
5:05So we'll see. But it's just a tough spot for Philly overall with their offense.
5:10They are coming off a backbreaking loss to the Jaguars in London.
5:13They had no bye week in between. So they had to play internationally, had to fly back to Philadelphia.
5:19And they're going to be welcoming a red hot Carolina Panthers offense that is coming off a bye week.
5:24Like we saw this last week with the Colts and Steelers.
5:28Colts played internationally. They came back, no bye week.
5:30And the Steelers took care of business. And they were coming off extended rest because they had played on the Thursday night before.
5:37So the rest advantage is definitely in the Panthers side here.
5:40The vibes are with the Panthers side of here.
5:43So naturally the Eagles are going to win by 15 points because that's just how this works.
5:48I mean, the Eagles are at home. Like that is the one thing that's kind of working in their favor.
5:54But I mean, if they start out crappy, those fans, man.
5:57Oh, batteries. And bricks. They're going to find whatever they can and throw it on the field.
6:02So this could, again, with the Eagles, a lot of times it feels like when it rains, it pours.
6:08And it feels like torrential downpour is going to be happening.
6:11Doesn't it feel like this? It's going to be like a Damien Pierce.
6:15Like it's going to be all these nomad players that are going to die.
6:19We're like, oh, the Panthers are going to be great.
6:22It'd be one thing too, if you at least had Smith and you had Barkley.
6:26Like maybe that would give you, but like those guys look like they're not even going to play.
6:31So like you're missing your, your, your star three players at the quarterback running back receiver position.
6:36Those guys are all out. Right. You'd have to expect like Jalen Carter would have to have again, another game.
6:42Like he did last week where he was a dominant force for the Eagles defense, but Eagles defense overall has been kind of been overrated this season.
6:50So yeah, it's a, it's a tough scene for Eagles fans.
6:53I got to check on Mike Mayer and see how we're doing.
6:57Yeah. Oh yeah. I said we were going to move on from it, but now I have to pose this question.
7:03And this is great because you guys, if you listen like Spotify, you can leave comments.
7:08Which NFL player would you want to do karaoke with?
7:11Who do you think is the best to do karaoke?
7:13I already have the answer and I think there's one clear answer.
7:17One obviously clear, great answer. Who do you think the best NFL player to do karaoke with is?
7:22Currently in the NFL? In the NFL. Okay. Cause my, my mind immediately gravitated towards Gronk, but I know he's retired.
7:28He would be, he would definitely be fun cause he'd be really bad, but no current NFL player.
7:34I don't know. I'm not like this. I must be like missing this.
7:37You sound like it's so obvious. Yeah. It is so obvious.
7:41Someone put in here, uh, meet slim, put in.
7:43That's a great one. That's a really good one.
7:46I think it would be fantastic. Cornwall has said Keenan Allen is a good singer, but the very first comment from paragraphs
7:52here, James Winston, there is zero doubt in my mind that you wouldn't have the biggest banger of it.
7:58I gotta be honest with you. An Andrew Erickson, James Winston, uh, karaoke collab is the final pinnacle of what I need in my life.
8:05That might be retirement. I need that in my life.
8:08If you guys got to get a better pairing, please let me know.
8:12I know it's not fancy talk, but boy, do I get excited about it.
8:16If you think of another one, Eric, you can let us know, but James Winston, I think is the number one.
8:22All right. Uh, we got an audience that is waiting.
8:25We have held them back here for a little bit, talking karaoke parties and a little bit of Jalen hurts.
8:31You guys got questions that have nothing to do with Thursday night football, right?
8:35All right. Perfect. Then let's answer them and let's get our boy.
8:39Uh, let's get our boy Nick up here. Nick, what's up, man?
8:42Hey guys. Uh, appreciate you guys as always. I'm going to shoot over my team.
8:47Kind of curious where your thoughts are on like this whole Eagle situation, obviously like super unknown.
8:52Uh, I don't know what kind of a quarterback Tanner McKee is, but my context specifically, I had scooped Goddard off of waivers.
8:58Uh, he'd kind of slipped through and I have three tight ends on the roster.
9:03That's obviously a ton. Um, but like with buys and everything, I had been planning on flexing Goddard and Juwan Johnson as like tight end and flex.
9:11I'm curious now, given the murkiness with Philly, like would you drop Goddard for the like a Jeremy Bernard who for some
9:17reason is still on waivers given the team? Is there anyone else you'd rather drop to maybe make that move?
9:23I don't know if you're still confident starting Goddard because I don't know if McKee is going to hyper target him like,
9:29uh, like our current quarterback there does. But, uh, it's kind of curious what, what you guys think there.
9:35Oh, Nick is an Eagles fan too. Sorry, Nick.
9:38I heard, I heard the, I heard the Philly come out right in that last thing.
9:42And then also he said our quarterback, my assumption, by the way, Jeremy Bernard out there is insane, but Erickson, you were
9:49going to speak, but my assumption is like always backup quarterback safety nets.
9:52It's checkoffs and guys like Goddard are the safety blanket.
9:55I kind of love Goddard in this spot. Yeah.
9:58I don't think it like changes it too dramatically.
10:01Obviously invites a little bit more ambiguity. Whenever you change quarterbacks, there's always some chance of variance, but he's still going to see volume in the game.
10:09We know that Devonta Smith's probably not going to play.
10:12There's no Saquon Barkley. So by default, Dallas Goddard becomes like the number one read.
10:16So I don't think that this really changes. Obviously that the offense was already broken with Jalen hurts in it.
10:22So Tanner McKee being the quarterback again, obviously you feel less confident about all these guys and maybe the touchdown equity obviously
10:28goes down a little bit, but I mean, you also have Loveland on your roster.
10:33So if you want to roll the dice with Loveland with Caleb Williams back, maybe there's more upside there, but I still
10:39think Goddard has a floor as a flex play.
10:42So yeah, I didn't move him that much in my weekly rank.
10:45I mean, I had him higher before, but I still, he's still like in tight end one territory just because he should say double digit target still.
10:53And it's still tight end. I want Jeremy Bernard though.
10:56And he has Juwan Johnson, Colson, Loveland and Goddard.
10:59You can't like have the three tight ends. I mean, if you, if, did he say he picked up Goddard?
11:05He picked up Goddard while having Juwan Johnson in them.
11:07Okay. Could you then, then Juwan Johnson? I mean, why don't you just drop Goddard?
11:12Like what's the way go? Why don't you want to start?
11:15You don't know how long he's, okay. But of the three tight ends though, but of the three tight ends, who do you want to start this weekend?
11:23Loveland, Juwan Johnson, or he's starting Juwan. He only has to start one.
11:27I know. I know. I know. But I'm saying, do you want to start Juwan Johnson over Goddard?
11:32Yes. Okay. Yeah. I mean, against the giants. So then, I mean, Juwan Johnson is the one.
11:37Then from a flex, do you want Goddard or Jeremy Bernard?
11:41I'm thinking like, I think it's probably pretty close, but given the.
11:44Dean for Bernard. Also, I'm thinking like long-term too, right?
11:47Yeah. Dallas Goddard's value is not going to improve because Devonta Smith is going to come back.
11:52The schedule is really easy for the Eagles upcoming because I mentioned Dallas Goddard as like a buy on the trade show,
11:58but that was also in the context that Jalen hurts was still going to be the quarterback of the team, which is
12:05obviously not, not the case here so far. So, um, I mean, do you think someone's going to pick up Goddard after he gets dropped?
12:12Maybe. Here's a side note. He has two defenses.
12:15He has one on the bench. You just drop a defense.
12:18Like pick up Bernard. It's the Steelers. He has Steelers and Chiefs.
12:22Oh yeah. Drop a defense. Pick up Bernard. I dropped the Steelers and go get Bernard.
12:26And then, um, I mean, you're still in like a little conundrum here.
12:30I'd maybe start Bernard over Goddard, but if Goddard is the safety net, uh, I would, I would pick that.
12:36It's a good question. It's a great question. I'm glad first one of those around the Eagles.
12:41It's, it's kind of, I mean, I think I would, I would add Bernard regardless because he's someone that's owned a crew value, I think.
12:48So I think I would do that anyway. Well, you said it the right, like the longterm, the longterm thing is going to focus.
12:55Cause the thing with Goddard is the matchups are good.
12:58Cause he's going to have the Cowboys. He's going to have the commanders.
13:02Now it's just a matter of what's the quarterback play like.
13:05And I think I agree with you where I don't think we're going to see his volume evaporate with Tanner McKee to like security blanket.
13:13And yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it might be six catches for 45 yards, but, uh, he should still be a touchdown, touch on equity and stuff.
13:20And we also don't know the status of Smith and, and, um, Barkley.
13:24I don't, yeah. I don't think, I don't think I want to don't, don't drop Goddard.
13:29I would say I want to make sure I was clear with that.
13:33I thought about it, but yeah, I would keep him.
13:36All right. Cornwallis, Cornwallis, you had the nice comment in the comment section of this show on discord too, where you were
13:42like pleasant surprise from, uh, Bogman and Tara. So thank you for being here and supporting our homies.
13:47Oh yeah. No problem. What up? Um, so we're looking at, um, two questions at tight end, either fire move or strange
13:54and PPR and then at the flex, I could either flex the other tight end.
13:58Um, let's see, Damian Pierce, Makai lemon, uh, Ray Tucker or Kendrick Bourne.
14:02Okay. Uh, let's start with the tight end then strange or friar move.
14:06Strange. I'm super close on that little touchdown equity for fire move, but I'm totally fine with strange.
14:11Um, on the flex. I actually love Kendrick Bourne this week.
14:14I love Kendrick Bourne. Trey Tucker might be the play, but, uh, I'm going to say Kendrick Bourne as my flex spot there.
14:21I don't care about the Eagles guy. I mean, if, if Barkley's out, you could justify Damian Pierce, but also like Pierce
14:27might be 12 carries for 28 yards. I mean, the Panthers run defense is pretty bad.
14:32Yeah. Like, and if you're down to a backup court, I mean, you can spin the narrative, right?
14:37Where you can be all the crowd of the box.
14:40Like, Oh, well he might get 30 carries. Yeah.
14:43I mean, back of court back in. Yeah, that's true.
14:46And he, and they could throw the ball out of the backfield a bunch.
14:50If Barkley's out Pierce has the most volume potential.
14:53Uh, if let's say Barkley's in though, which, who are you picking?
14:56Trey Tucker, um, Makai lemon, Kendrick Bourne. Oh, I don't want to, I would not play lemon.
15:01I'm not either. I think that, um, I play Trey Tucker.
15:04That's defense. It's horrible. I'm, I think they are going to shut down Michael Wilson.
15:09All the coverage is there and Kendrick Bourne down the middle for seven catches.
15:13So I like, I like Kendrick Bourne on that one.
15:16That's a fun question. Catalyst. What's up, dude? Hey guys.
15:19Thanks for your time on the show. Appreciate the love for karaoke.
15:22You know, I'm someone that tries my best not to ever do the same song twice in a lifetime, just because I
15:29want to be as creative as possible when it comes to doing it.
15:32Okay. That's good. Yeah. I definitely wouldn't be comfortable with that because I'd have to.
15:37I'm good with, but you know what happens to me?
15:40I lose my voice really bad when I get into the setting.
15:43So it's like, I die down. I die down.
15:46And I'm also like, I'm kind of like, I want to like rap and stuff.
15:50I want to get in there. But you know, Eric Erickson's bright side.
15:54I appreciate you. And you know, next fantasy pros trip, come out and karaoke with us.
15:59Catalyst. All right. I'll try my best. What do you got?
16:02So I wanted to talk about my rebuilding dynasty team.
16:05I'm trying my best to sell Ollie Gordon. But right now I'm only having like one person who's interested in it, but
16:11I'm just afraid of like not getting enough value off it.
16:15Would you agree though that the, that he's probably like a late round two value for like the, for the next pick this year?
16:22Yeah. Like a second round. I think that's like a late second round pick for 2027.
16:26If you were trading Ollie Gordon, I think. Yeah.
16:29It's cause like, I'm trying to get at least a second or just like at the very most, a second, just he's
16:35so far pitched me like an idea as far as Malik Washington and his late third.
16:40Yeah. I mean the thing in that, in that team is obviously a competitor, right?
16:45Somewhat like it's kind of hard to tell with how he's approaching it, but he is he does have a lot of
16:51value as far as a competitor does. Okay. Well, cause I was going to say like, I definitely think a high end
16:57winning team is going to try to talk you down.
17:00I think I would play hard ball because Ollie Gordon's value to next year is little to none.
17:06So the value is to a team that is competing now that has a running back for the rest of the season and RB one.
17:13And then they've got it. You've got a dreamscape that, you know, maybe the dolphins trade him or something like that, but it's really all about this year.
17:21I think it's fair to be like, Hey, an RB two for the entirety of this season should cost you a second round dynasty pick.
17:28But I understand why they would ask for a third Erickson.
17:32What do you think about that logic? Do you think that's, that's too much, which wish casting to get a second round
17:38pick for a guy like Ollie Gordon. This is Pat Fitzmaurice.

18:54Dinner doesn't have to. It's not delivery. It's DiGiorno.
18:57Okay, chicken nugget fans. I've got huge news. The new Burger King chicken nuggets just dropped and they are the crispiest, the
19:03juiciest, and the tastiest chicken nuggets ever at Burger King.
19:06Burger King heard that a lot of you didn't like the old chicken nuggets, so they got to work and reinvented them.
19:12To go along with the new chicken nuggets, a lot of the sauces were reinvented too because better chicken nuggets deserve better sauces.
19:19We're talking new buffalo sauce, honey mustard, sweet and sour, and even a whole new option too.
19:24The new special savory sauce, which is only available for a limited time at participating U.S.
19:29restaurants. I mean, you need to taste it all for yourself.
19:32This new chicken nugget, reinvented based on real feedback, is made with 100% white meat chicken and is now better than ever.
19:39You gotta try the new Burger King chicken nuggets and sauces today.
19:42No, I don't think so. I think based on the projection of his production for the rest of the season, again, he
19:48should see a decent amount of volumes kind of earned his way as the RB1.
19:53He's a late round draft pick, so that's always something that you have to be cognizant of where how much equity is
19:59this team really having him, especially because he's a holdover from the previous regime.
20:03But it seems like he has one over the coaching staff at least a little bit, which we don't expect any like big firings from this coaching staff.
20:12So I think second round is probably what you'd actually want.
20:15I think they have you just like dumb for a third.
20:18It's like, I mean, I feel like you're just kind of like resetting the board again when at least he's shown like
20:24this guy can at least play like in the NFL.
20:27And I mean, he could be, I mean, the best case scenario is he opens next year as the backup to HN, right?
20:34Who the team has already invested in, given that they gave him the contract and HN's coming off a season ending injury.
20:41So I, yeah, again, like I know when you're trying to rebuild, you're trying to dump off pieces, but like you got to get the value, right?
20:48Don't just be like, well, I'm rebuilding. So I just want draft picks.
20:52Like, I don't care what I sell. I think that's almost taking the easy way out.
20:57It's like, no, like make sure you're getting actual value.
21:00Because if the value is not there, like go tell them to pound, like pound rocks, pound rocks, pound sand, pound everything.
21:06Kick, kick sand, pound rocks. Yeah. And pound, pound bread.
21:09But like play hardball. Don't be afraid to play hardball.
21:12Because what did, what did you miss if you don't make the trade catalyst?
21:16Oh, you didn't get a third round pick in the 2020 deal.
21:20Like may I, at that point, I would rather the opportunity, something happens where a team trades for Ollie Gordon and he
21:26gets a better opportunity or something like that. You should play hardball and try to get that second round pick.
21:32It's more than a fair to ask for. Was that your, that was your, was that it on dynasty?
21:38Yeah, that was it. You know, it's tough because it's like, he's one of the handful of people that actually responds like when it comes to traits.
21:46Sure. But you know, don't, I have, man, that's been one of the biggest things I think that is a crutch.
21:52Now I'm not saying this crutch for you, but in dynasty and keepers.
21:56And I get it where it's like, well, my league doesn't really trade.
21:59This is all that's out there. And then people do it because it's like, well, this is it.
22:05But that's coming back to that hardball thing. He's in the same situation, by the way, if there's only a handful of
22:11people that are responding, then he can't really improve his team a whole lot if people aren't as well.
22:17So you should, um, you should use that to your advantage.
22:20And I think a second round pick is more than fair.
22:23Um, I mean, it'd be dope if you can get like Malik Washington and a second round, but even a second round
22:30swap straight up if you're not competing is, uh, easy stuff.
22:33That is what I would do. Good dynasty talk there.
22:36Also want to talk to you guys about our friends over at Polymarket.
22:39It's a stock exchange for sports where you can buy in and sell out on your own terms.
22:45When your team goes down to 20%, you can buy in and sell it off at 40%.

23:12That's code FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposit just 10 bucks.
23:16All right, let's get back to our friends. Dear friend, premium member on the fantasy pros discord, Joe.
23:21What's up, Joe? Hey, what's up guys? How you doing?
23:24We're doing good, dude. How you doing? Doing good.
23:27I'm in a half point PPR league that I'm currently five and oh, and I have a start and sit question for tight end and flex.
23:35And then a keeper cut question. Let's do it.
23:37All right. Tight end. Do I start Juwan Johnson or Tucker Craft?
23:41Ooh, Tucker for me. Oh, okay. I thought you were going to say Juwan Johnson, Erickson.
23:45That's good. Okay. You guys both said Tucker Craft?
23:48Yeah, but we're both Tucker Craft here. And then what was the dynasty?
23:52Oh, it's not dynasty. It's still the half point PPR.
23:55I'm just wondering, like, I have Zach Charbonne sitting in my IR.
23:58And I don't know, like, because I'm five and oh, if I should just keep him there or if I should drop
24:05him, switch somebody else out for the IR position and pick up like a handcuff like Emmitt Johnson from the Chiefs.
24:11I would just keep Charbonne because he's going to get activated after next week.
24:15I mean, and dude, they were like trying to go get Joe Mixon.
24:19They're trying to get anybody to get out there.
24:21I don't know though. Emmitt Johnson though. Emmitt Johnson.
24:24Like, if I will point this out. If you have Emmitt Johnson on your wire, if there's a time to pick up
24:30Emmitt Johnson, it's right now coming off the buy just to see what, like, what's the plan?
24:35Do they want to implement him? Obviously, his value is based around Ken Walker, you know, getting hurt.
24:41But could there be a little bit more? But I think it's tough in that scenario to not want to have like
24:47Charbonne moving forward when, you know, Janarian Price is banged up and they're trying to bring everybody in.
24:52So that's where I would go with that. Scott, what up?
24:56Hey, how's it going, guys? So I have a question around running back.
24:59I have Roman Wilson on my bench and I'm pretty good at receiver.
25:03I got Nico Collins, Parker Washington, Shalen Coker, Lad McConkie.
25:06And it's a pretty deep league. But I also have a bunch of, like, really, like, backup on it, brain backs.
25:12Do I go get Najee Harris or Corey Kiner?
25:15Yeah, he's hurt. Drop him. Pick up Najee. Easy.
25:18You're cool with Najee easy, not Kiner? I mean, not that Kiner's anybody, but.
25:22I mean, maybe I'm underselling Corey Kiner. I just don't think Najee's anything.
25:26You were like, oh, man. I mean, Najee gets, I mean, Seth talked about it on the betting pro show.
25:31I mean, Najee gets goal line opportunities. Like, Kiner does not.
25:35I mean, I'm expecting full-blown workload. They've at least used Najee enough times where it's like he can kind of be annoying to Cam Skadaboo.
25:42Now, does that help boost his own value? Like, not really.
25:45But Skadaboo, if he goes down, is Najee not the next guy up?
25:49Because Singletary's been inactive, like, the last couple games.
25:52So, I know in a deep league with me and Fitzy, we have Najee on the bench.
25:57Like, it's a 16-team league, and I would rather have Najee than Roman Wilson.
26:01Do you notice yourself, your teams are better when you share it with, like, a like-minded?
26:05It's a little different, I guess, because we, like, work in the industry and stuff.
26:10But, like, when you share a team with someone invested like you, do you notice your teams are better or are worse than when it is you?
26:18Just you. Because I do one with Bogman, and every single year, like, we're bangers.
26:22Like, me and him, and we fight about it, and we argue, and, like, we have to have trump cards on, like,
26:29well, I get this person, and all right, now you get this person.
26:32Like, but every single year, like in the Superflix pentathlon we do, which is against, you know, Fitzy and Skopi andowski, and
26:39there's industry people across the board, we bang those leagues.
26:42So, when we draft together, I've noticed I actually, like, my teams are almost better when I have that type of cross-canceling,
26:48and I don't get too hyper-focused on my guys.
26:51But I know that's not the case for everybody.
26:53Honestly, I could go either way. I have good teams that I draft myself and that I share with others, and I have bad teams like the same.
27:02What a lame answer. I'm just being honest. Yeah, just taking it one day at a time, just trying to be better every day.
27:09I mean, the one team I have with Fitz has been Bunz.
27:12Oh, okay. We won our first game, finally, for the first time last week.
27:16We were 0-4, but we had so many injuries.
27:19So, guys are getting healthy, which is good. So.
27:22All right. Not the answer. You gave the, like, the NFL player, you know, one day at a time, just trying to be better every day.
27:29Just happy to be here, just trying to get better.
27:32Like, F to Chisholm after he caught that touchdown over Chauncey Carter-Johnson.
27:36He's like, oh, great guy. We'll still play him again next, in a couple weeks.
27:40You're like, come on, dude. Say something good. Bucks, man, what up?
27:43How's it going, fellas? Can you not hear me?
27:46We got you good, man. What do you got?
27:49I got two questions. First one is in a standard league.
27:52I need you guys to pick two for me between Ted Rowe, McMillian, Poker, Roma Doosie, and Jeremy Bernard.
27:58Just play the Panthers. Yeah, I think both Panthers.
28:00I hate saying it, but both Panthers, yeah. If they combine for 30 points, don't care.
28:05I got there. Yeah. Should be happy to play them both.
28:08And Eagles might be turning that offense over even more.
28:11So, Panthers, guys. What's question number two? Okay. Second question.
28:14This one's in the half PPR league. Need to choose one between Jeremy Bernard, Jawan Johnson, and Chris Godwin.
28:20Ooh, thanks, Bucks, man. We kind of had that with Bernard and Jawan Johnson with the other guy at flex.
28:25I am leaning Jeremy Bernard just because I think Aaron Rodgers is like a good spot starter this week, and he's going
28:32to slay, and he loves Bernard, so I'm going to go with Bernard.
28:36I will go with Jawan. You love you some Jawan.
28:39I'm going to touch on that. I just, I just, I like Jawan.
28:42The sample size with him and Tyler Shuck is much, much larger than it is with, I mean, again, we talked about the rank show.
28:50Jeremy Bernard runs one wrong route, Shadow Realm. Yeah.
28:52Never sees, never gets another target again. I do like it.
28:56Like, all I think about when you say that, too, is it's like in Thunderbolts with, now I'm forgetting Bob or whatever,
29:02when he turns into Century or The Void. And I don't know if you know any of this.
29:07This is all Marvel bullcrap, but he just stands there.
29:10Like, you drop a pass, Aaron Rodgers turns into The Void, and then he just shadows people, and he just shadows that wide receiver.
29:17There's definitely a meme for that somewhere that's probably not worth it, but that's what I think of.
29:22Because I'm a nerd, I'm a Marvel nerd. Rain Man.
29:25What's up, Rain Man? What's going on again, gents?
29:28I have a bit of a random one, and mainly, I guess, towards you, Erickson, because of the Patriots affiliation.
29:34But late Tuesday night, and I'm not sure how many people even caught it, because then waivers ran, and there was a
29:40ton of them this week for some reason. But the guy that had Henderson dropped him.
29:45And I guess I'm looking for your guys' thoughts.
29:48Because of his production year to date, I don't know if it's worth blowing a whole bunch of fab on him, but now he's practicing.
29:55I just saw, like, 10 minutes ago, he's on the field today, full pads.
29:59And so, right now I have Mononga as my third running back with Cook and Walker.
30:04He's likely not playing this week. And so, I'm actually trying to roll with Kendra Miller this week and next week with Cook off.
30:11Do you think Henderson's worth trying to blow some money on and whatever?
30:15Or do you, I'm trying to make heads from tails with that situation.
30:18And, you know, end of season, sure, especially if Mondria gets banged up.
30:22But is he better off than even Miller or something, even if he plays this week?
30:27Yeah, he's totally one of those guys where it's just like, how long are we going to be, he's going to be
30:33the end of the universe, the end of time when we're like, he's just, he's going to do it someday.
30:39He's just so talented. And it just, it doesn't happen.
30:42The breakout never happens. But it's hard to deny.
30:45But, I mean, Erickson, you were at the forefront of it this year when everyone was like, brother, year two, Travian Henderson, it's a time.
30:52And you were pounding the table just like the jersey in the back there that Reminder Stevenson's not going anywhere.
30:58But I think it would be hard-pressed to not make a move to pick him up, especially if it's, you know, short-term injury.
31:05You don't have like a strong RB camp if something happens with Remondre.
31:08But I don't know if the promises are good for him long-term.
31:12I mean, I would rather probably him than Kendra Miller, but Kendra Miller probably has more short-term value.
31:17What do you think about picking up Travian? I would rather have Travian than Kendra Miller.
31:22Rest of season, right? I get that Kendra has the more short-term appeal, but it is very, very short-term.
31:28And when people ask me these certain types of deals, it's like, who would you rather have rest of season, Henderson or Kendra Miller?
31:35I don't think it's particularly close. Yeah, it's not particularly close.
31:38So I get that the short-term appeal for Miller is, oh, he's facing the Giants.
31:42Like, it's a good matchup. But like, dude, he could totally air ball, right?
31:46That would not surprise me for an offense that can't run the football whatsoever.
31:50So if Kendra is the only expendable piece, because I'm not dropping Monunga, even though he's banged up.
31:56And if I got to flex Henderson, I mean, the fact that he has gone from a possible IR candidate with a
32:02high ankle sprain to limited yesterday on Wednesday and then putting on the full pads on Thursday.
32:07I mean, what kind of high ankle sprain was this?
32:10I don't know. So, yeah, I don't know if there's anything else you have to add.
32:15I mean, if you got to drop Kendra, you got to do it.
32:18He said it beautifully. All of it. The frustration, the chaos of it, Travion.
32:23Like, why couldn't AJ Brown have this high ankle sprain?
32:26No kidding, right? They're like, it's going to be a month.
32:29Nope, he's back next week. He's Superman. Yeah, I don't know.
32:32Travion is trending in like the worst direction you can trend, but he's just also super talented and you just don't have a robust backfield.
32:39Like, those are the type of guys you bet on.
32:42You want to bet on those type of players.
32:45Now, if the question was centered around, would you cut Kendra Miller for Henderson?
32:49That makes it because I don't know if you caught.
32:52He has to start Miller like next week. So, like, if knowing that, would you be comfortable dropping a Kendra Miller knowing
32:58he has to be a starter next week for Travion?
33:01Who are the Saints playing next week? Because I think that the Saints backfield could flip.
33:06Is Kamara going to be that little involved for two weeks, two weeks in a row?
33:11And then A-chan is going to come back. Like, that's the thing.
33:14Like, there's so many other factors at play with Miller.
33:17But I guess, sorry. Well, I guess my point was going to be like, that's fine.
33:22Like, whoever. They're playing the Steelers. But if Travion's not active and you have nobody, like, it's a matter of getting a
33:28zero to speculate on Henderson or put, you get what I'm saying?
33:32Like, do you feel confident enough that because he's back in pads and stuff, he'll be back out next week and you
33:38would just rather him no matter what or know that you got to get your value?
33:43If a trade came in and I had Kendrick Miller and someone's like, I'll give you Travion Henderson.
33:48I'm taking that 100 out of 100 times. There's easy.
33:51I don't even care about. And then if I got to take a zero on one of my slots, so be it.
33:57I'm not going to give up that type of value when it's clear in my mind which player you'd rather have.
34:04And there's a chance Henderson. I mean, if Henderson's practicing full on Thursday, I'm pretty sure he's going to play.
34:09Yeah. So, and then if he doesn't have any relapses, he'll probably be more healthy next week when the Patriots play, ding, ding, ding, the Chicago Bears.
34:17Pretty good matchup. Pretty good. Pretty good. We'll take that.
34:20All right. Good one. Lando, premium member of the Fantasy Pros Discord.
34:24We were just lockstep there. That was perfect. Lando.
34:26Pretty good. Can you guys hear me? Yeah, we got you, man.
34:30Yep. Right on. Thanks, fellas. Yeah. All right. So I'm pretty deep on wide receiver in my super flex league.
34:36QBs are pretty weak, though. Was thinking about trading away Garrett Wilson and Bo Nix for Chase Brown and CJ Stroud.
34:42Any thoughts? Wait, who's the first player? Garrett Wilson and Bo Nix for CJ Stroud and Chase Brown.
34:47Okay. So I guess do we have to have a Chase Brown conversation?
34:51And then they even said they had to reevaluate.
34:54By the way, thank you for the question. And they had to reevaluate or they're always evaluating the running back situation.
35:00Like, I like, I'll be honest with you. I might like Stroud over Nix moving forward.
35:05But you're giving up Garrett. Okay, you're with me on that.
35:08But Garrett Wilson and Chase Brown. I think it's a need thing.
35:11I think they're in the same tier ballpark. Obviously, Chase Brown has been underwhelming.
35:15I'm not concerned about, are we going to do this Samajay Pirine thing?
35:19I mean, this guy's been in the league for how long?
35:22I'm just not convinced that this is like, oh, a major shakeup of the backfield.
35:27Pirine has his role. He played well against the Miami Dolphins.
35:30Chase Brown fumbled. You know, maybe got a little bit of the doghouse.
35:34And I think he'll bounce back. So I think the team still believes a lot.
35:38Has a high outcome. I think Chase Brown's are screaming buy low right now for teams that need running backs.
35:44He's on a bye week coming off a bad game where Pirine outproduced him.
35:48Chase Brown has outproduced Pirine in 20 other previous games.
35:51Like, so. I don't like the comments about it.
35:54I want them to be super. I wanted them to be dismissive and be like, yeah, don't worry about it.
36:00You know, some guys. I think that sometimes Pirine has a good game.
36:03Not like we're always evaluating the running back spot.
36:06Like what? Well, I mean, I think it's like, hey, Chase Brown played better.
36:10I mean, like he hasn't like been fantastic to start the year.
36:14He's got to improve. I mean, this happened last year too.
36:17Came out the gates a little bit sluggish. I know Joe Burrow missed some time, but I'm still believing Chase Brown.
36:23I still believe in the talent. Team can run the ball.
36:26And this offense should get cooking. So I think you see a fired up Chase Brown out of the bye week.
36:32And I think that for running back needy teams, I think this is a good move to make.
36:38So I like it. Well, and he said too, he needed the quarterback and the running back and he was deep at wide out.
36:45So I think that's like a no brainer. So yeah, you in a good spot.
36:49Jay daddy. How's it going guys? How you doing?
36:52Good. How you doing? Good. Cool question. So I'm trying to figure out my flex right now in my league.
36:58So I have Bucky Irving or Mondray Stevenson. And I also have this week.
37:02Let me just check really quick to verify with you.
37:05And I have a JCM. I'm trying to figure out if I should start one of those in my flex.
37:10And if I should cut Kenneth gain well for a waiver wire, what would be the waiver wire?
37:16Yeah. I'm thinking about either like Holani from Seattle.
37:18No. Or. The Dow. So. Hmm. No, no. I mean, the chargers are going on by next week, so you're going to cut Vidal.
37:25Yeah. Once they fire McDaniel and then they try to.
37:28Unless he sees like an 80% snap share this week, which it's probably going to be a three man committee.
37:34I mean, you got Bucky, you got gain. Well, like, I don't know.
37:38I think that that's fine. I'm not over the moon with those other guys.
37:42So I don't care about dropping gain well for Vidal, but I just don't.
37:46I think it's like lateral. And, and, and if we're being honest, if the chargers, you know, once they lose and they're
37:53winless and they fire McDaniel and they reassess the offense, like what is the thing they could have to reassess?
37:59We got to get Hampton involved. Like, why was he not involved?
38:02So I don't know if Vidal is good. He doesn't fit the scheme.
38:06Like he, the scheme is not maybe that maybe Hampton will be a buy low.
38:10Maybe it's a buy low. Yeah. We might, we might just be there where the price is just so down bad that you got to be out.
38:18You got to buy back in on the other question of flex.
38:22I mean, if, if Travion is not active, are you reminder, you're going to be reminder over Bucky.
38:27But if, Oh, I mean, Bucky's matchup is much tougher this week.
38:30No, I know. But I mean, Bucky. So I'm going, I'm still going to remind Ray.
38:35Even if Travion was active. Yeah. Oh no. I mean, I'm Bucky over him, but Remondre, if there's no against the Steelers.
38:42Why, why, why Bucky over? I don't know. I mean, equity perceptions.
38:45He catches the ball out of the backfield. Like they, so to speak, Stevenson catches the ball.
38:50Who's going to score more points? The Patriots or the Bucks?
38:53Fair. With potential. I mean, I think it's still Stevenson.
38:56Yeah. I mean, they're, they're relatively close. I mean, it's going to be tough because Stevenson gets the boost because the Henderson
39:03is, was at least presumed not to play at all.
39:06And, and the rank is representative because J daddy pointed out the fantasy pros rank.
39:10Appreciate you doing that. That's easy for my job.
39:13Uh, RB 10 and Bucky's at 14 right now.
39:15If Travion was active, I think people are going to move down.
39:19Remondre like Remondre without Henderson. That's just the easy answer.
39:22Like, that's the answer. You and I are split.
39:24If, um, if Henderson were to play and be like totally good, I can't imagine he is.
39:29So really we don't even have to argue about it.
39:32It's Henderson, but like, I, I'm okay with Bucky, even though it's not like the best matchup just because what do they do with Bucky?
39:40They'll just start middle dump passing. Like Gainwell does not make Bucky disappear from the passing game, but your point is valid in that.
39:47Not like if the Patriots are rolling, you know, reminders opportunities are going to be there.
39:51So, so that's, I mean, again, it's close, but it's a good question.
39:55It's a good question. I'm on Steven's. The best question.
39:58Fantasy pros, fantasy pros app. This is what I want you to go do.
40:02I want you to go download it. End of read.
40:05No, but I'll tell you all your fantasy teams, wherever you go, uh, you can manage them for free with the fantasy pros app.
40:12Get experts, start and set advice, find the best waiver ads and available players in every league and manage all of your teams from one convenient view.
40:20You can even set your best lineups automatically with autopilot.
40:23Has that ever been more appropriate than when there's those like, I mean, if you're a West coast person and there's these
40:29God early games set autopilot just to protect you.
40:32So you don't have any craziness in your lineup.
40:35Download the free fantasy pros app today at fantasy pros.com slash apps.
40:38That's fantasy pros.com slash apps. Do it. Why have you not done it?
40:42Yeah. Autopilot game changer when you're driving from five different million weddings and you don't have wifi.
40:47It's just, it's very comforted feeling and knowing that my optimal lineup has been set and you just trust the ranks and you trust the process.
40:55And more often than not works out. If anything, it stops you from tinkering and making bad decisions.
41:00If whether you are, whether you this weekend have five weddings or you're like me and embarrassingly booking a hotel on skid
41:06row in LA with your kid, uh, whatever it is, autopilot will protect you when you're panicking or having a great time.
41:13So while, because Welsh was in a scenario where he's trying to protect his son, he doesn't need to worry about setting his fantasy.
41:20I don't because he has autopilot. I'm protected. When I'm battling the world around me, I don't have to battle my fantasy teams.
41:26Fantasy pros app. Greatest read of all time. Uh, Devo, what up?
41:30Hey, sorry about that. I've had technical difficulties. Um, so hurting at running back this week with buys and injuries.
41:36Um, I picked up Damian Pierce. So if, if Barkley doesn't play, which I don't think he's supposed to be, but if
41:42he doesn't, I assume he gets put in. But if not, my options are Kamani Vidal, Emmitt Johnson and Justice Hill, which I don't like any of those.
41:50So just trying to see what you guys are looking at.
41:54I'm here. Um, yeah, I think even more now with Hertz not out, it feels like they got to just be like, everybody take a week off.
42:02You know, like, what are we going for here?
42:04If Barkley's active, you still want to play Pierce?
42:07Cause I think I'm Emmitt Johnson. Oh no, you can't.
42:10No, Pierce is a, I mean, he's like, he'll be like RB 60 for me if Barkley's playing.
42:15Okay. But then, so then if Barkley is active, would you Emmitt off of the buy?
42:20Yeah. I, I like Emmitt. I think this could be interesting spot for him to get more involved.
42:25I think Vidal probably has the most like proof of concept because his equity has gone up the last couple of weeks,
42:31but it's just really hard when it's a three-way committee and you really have no, like, what would you set the under over at Vidal's touches?
42:39Dude. I mean, but it's like different. I know it's a great point.
42:43It's like different every week. It was like Keith Mitchell.
42:46Then it's right. And it's a game script dependent.
42:48It's, is it targets? Does it catch it? 8.5.
42:51And it feels like he is, maybe he's like the best rusher of the three, but that gives him the least amount
42:58of fantasy value because he has to score a long touchdown because red zone still goes to Hampton targets and receptions go to Mitchell.
43:05And then Vidal gets carries inside the twenties. So even if he's like the quote unquote best fit in this system, it's not necessarily translating.
43:12I mean, obviously he scored the last two weeks, I believe.
43:15But that's just like, it's also the chiefs on the road.
43:18That's like not a great matchup. Whereas Emma Johnson on the other side of that game.
43:23I think, I think Emma Johnson would probably be the play for me.
43:27I think so. All right. Let's do a little bit of lightning round.
43:31We got a nice little cue here. We got a little bit more time.
43:35So let's get some of those questions in Mowgli.
43:37What's up? Hey guys, what's going on? A couple of quick questions with Hertz out.
43:42I had Goddard. Would I be better off going with Higby?
43:45No, we talked about this a little bit earlier.
43:48Yeah. We both like Goddard. It's safety net option for a backup quarterback.
43:51It's not great. I get why you'd want to go Higby, but I'm going to, I'm going to go Goddard still.
43:58I guess like for me, it's like, like what's Goddard's trajectory really going to change?
44:02The volume is still probably going to be similar with Hertz.
44:05But the offense was already bad, right? Like, I guess it could just get even worse.
44:10But how much more worse is, I mean, what's the margin?
44:13If they were going against the Jags and you thought like, oh, there'll be nothing offensively, I'd be a little bit more worried.
44:20It's the Panthers. I think that there could be something there.
44:23Yeah. The Panthers defense is not good. Yeah. So.
44:26Yeah. Okay. And the second one, I've managed to skip my way to a five and a record and I got AJ
44:32Brown coming off and I've got Olave and Zay as my one and two.
44:36So I don't really need AJ Brown to eventually turn into anything more than a wide receiver three, but the tight end
44:43spot is always been sitting there and being five and O Brock Bowers is on a one and four team.
44:49And I'm trying to figure out how much to give for a guy like Bowers.
44:53I mean, with AJ Brown, I have, I've managed to get to five and O without him.
44:58Is it worth giving him up at another piece or how valuable is Bowers at this point?
45:03I think the only thing you could justify to a one and four team to do anything and move off is they got to get multiple pieces.
45:11A one and four team should have no interest in one for one pieces.
45:15Why? They stink. You've got to sell them two pieces.
45:18Now, I don't want to do Zay Flowers in a piece, but I think it's AJ Brown and another.
45:23You've got to sell them that they are going to get two pieces to start in their lineup.
45:29And I would go Brown and then some type of running back.
45:32I don't think a one and four team wants AJ Brown.
45:35I don't disagree, but okay. But then let me put it to you.
45:39You think he's had Zay Flowers as his RB2 or wide receiver two.
45:43Would you trade Zay? He's Olave and Flowers. So I would trade Olave and whatever tight end you've been playing to get Bowers.
45:50That's what I would do. But why would that guy want to do that?
45:54Because he gets two pieces, right? I think he wants RB.
45:57You know what? Try that. I think that's a good way to try it.
46:01Remember, also, I want to point out, you are 5-0.
46:04So sometimes if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
46:07But I would be trying to play down. I would be trying to get AJ Brown and then another piece to push it.
46:13If it gets to like Olave and Flowers and a tight end, okay, maybe.
46:18But that's like, so because he said Tootin' and Brown.
46:20That seems like a lot, but if he's not starting them.
46:24That feels like a lot to trade. If Tootin' is your RB2, I don't want to do that.
46:29Like, you have a court. He's got Bijan and then he's got Chase Brown.
46:33Would you do Chase and AJ Brown? Get all the Browns out of there?
46:37I mean, you have to give the other person another tight end, though.
46:41Because they don't have one. Because they're trading away with Powers.
46:44They don't have one in four. They don't care.
46:47Throw him in whatever dumb tight end he has then, sure.
46:50And get another piece. Colson Loveland. He has Pitts.
46:53Yeah, so he doesn't have a tight end. He doesn't have a tight end.
46:57Okay, yeah. I don't know. I think, play around with that.
47:00I think we gave you like a good general space to come up with.
47:04An angle. Yeah, it's, I think the angle to talk about here is that it's tough to trade with one in four teams.
47:11You know what I mean? Like, how do you trade with one in four teams?
47:15I mean, honestly, Welsh, the fact that we're struggling so much to kind of come up with a concrete answer, I think
47:22you just got to log off, man. You're 5-0.
47:24Yeah, it's a great point. Play the hits, man.
47:27Like, if we're like, and again, we went through the process.
47:30We tried to figure out ways that seemed like we made this deal make.
47:34And I get like, you're 5-0. You want to keep the good times rolling.
47:38Can you make a move and try to be perfect?
47:41Like, I'm sure that when we look at back out, when we look back at this deal, you're thinking, oh, like doing
47:48this for AJ Brown would have been so perfect.
47:50Or like selling off Olave would have been perfect.
47:53But we can't predict the future. We're just using the best logic we can.
47:57And right now, you're 5-0. They're 1-4. You know, they got to make a deal.
48:02Great point. Make them come to you. Or just send a small trade.
48:05Send a trade that like AJ Brown and then like a smaller piece and then see what they say.
48:11That's where to go. Sully, what up? How's it going, guys?
48:14Hope you're doing well. I'll try to make this as quick as I can.
48:18Question is kind of just about handcuffing at this point in the season.
48:22I know. I believe, I don't want to put words in your mouth, Erickson, but I think you were talking about handcuffing
48:28if you have Bijan and Kenneth Walker. And I got both of them, but they're an eight-man league where I feel like
48:35it's not, it kind of makes my team not as viable if I want.
48:39Like I have Swift as well. But then I also have a 14-teamer where I feel like, you know, I have James
48:45Cook and I feel like I need to hold on to Ray Davis just in case something happens there.
48:51So kind of just the bigger picture on handcuffs, I guess, if that makes sense.
48:55I hate handcuffing in an eight-man league. So when I was talking about this on the live stream, I know that one
49:02of the commenters actually disagreed with me. And I, you know, again, you don't have to agree with everything I say.
49:08And I wanted to add the context that it does depend.
49:11Like it's not black and white that all handcuffing like makes a ton of sense to do.
49:16I think it depends on the backfield, how certain we are and confident we are that the quote-unquote handcuffed running back will
49:23take on a larger workload and deliver in that workload.
49:26Because I thought that the person made a really astute point when they were disagreeing me.
49:30It was like, yeah, you get more upside rostering other people's handcuffs.
49:34And I agree. I think that there is a lot of upside with that.
49:38But I also feel like if you know that Ken Walker has an injury history and you know that Emma Johnson is
49:44really good and is going to probably see a bell cow roll.
49:48Like I just don't want to play that game.
49:50You know what's funny about you saying this? I just wanted to add to it is when you were going through this,
49:57if I were to handcuff one, it was Emma Johnson to Ken Walker.
50:01Yeah. I'm not really interested in the Brian Robinson one.
50:04Yeah. So, yeah. So, to that point. So, I do think it does depend on like the backfield.
50:09Like, if you have Kim Scadaboo or Bucky Irving, like these other guys, like whatever.
50:13Like, if you want Kenneth Game, well, great. If you don't want him, cut him.
50:18Like, I don't think it's a every, you have to have every single handcuff.
50:22And even like to the Ray Davis point, I guess I could push back and be like, they love Ty Johnson.
50:28Like, he gets involved a lot. So, Ray Davis would obviously get a boost.
50:32But I think it's nice to have a handcuff.
50:35I think that's probably the best way to phrase it.
50:38It's nice to have a handcuff if you don't go out of your way to do it.
50:43If you can get Emma Johnson for free because you have Kenneth Walker.
50:46But like, you got to trade leg and arm to get this.
50:50And maybe that's where I misspoke. Maybe I shouldn't have been so defiant about that on the live stream.
50:55But you got to do whatever it takes to get Ken Walker or Emma Johnson if you have Ken Walker.
51:01Maybe that's too aggressive. But I think if you can add those guys as throw-ins to deals just to like, hey, get some insurance.
51:08I mean, I don't know. If you have Christian McCaffrey, don't you kind of want to have Kalen Black?
51:14Like, I don't know. Like, it just feels like I would prefer.
51:17True. Yeah. If it's an eight-man league and the handcuffs are going to be the first to go.
51:23So, I would, in a shallower league, deeper league, you have a lot of bench spots.
51:27Yeah. I would hold on to those handcuffs because it's not really hurting you.
51:32But if you got to make moves, yeah, you got to cut the handcuffs first.
51:36So, hopefully that makes sense. Helps you out a little bit.
51:39All right. I'm trying to get to a couple more here.
51:42Rick, premium member of Fantasy Bros Discord. What up?
51:45Hey, how's it going, guys? Appreciate you taking my message here.
51:48Yeah. Right now, I've got my three-wide receiver set, 12-team league, half-point PPR.
51:52I've got Olave, Tett, and Tate. I'm looking at picking up Marvin Harrison Jr.
51:56I've got Diggs and Chism on my bench. How aggressive should I be?
52:00I was thinking about putting in, like, 12 bucks for him.
52:03Yeah. I dropped Chism and picked up Harrison. Yep.
52:06I'm totally down with that, too. Even though he is his, um, it's...
52:10Yeah. Mm-hmm. ATO. Dale, what up? Can you hear me?
52:13We got you. All right, sweet. So, I have a team that's kind of in shambles right now.
52:18And I have a trade in place to get rid of Bijan and Harold Fannin for Chubba Hubbard, either George Pickens or A.J.
52:25Brown, and then Colson Loveland and Pruehman. Uh, I hate it.
52:28Yeah, I don't want to trade Bijan for anything.
52:30That doesn't involve Jameer Gibbs. That doesn't involve Jameer Gibbs.
52:33Yeah, Pickens is cool. The other pieces don't mean anything to me, so...
52:37No. You gotta get elite, elite. You gotta get bigger pieces if you're gonna give away Bijan.
52:42No, thank you. The boys are back. Hey. Yeah.
52:45Chinzer, last one. Chinzer, what up? Oh, I have A.J.
52:48Brown in the league where I am 2-8 with median scoring.
52:51I mean, I've made a lot of trades, and these last two weeks I've been the second top-scoring team and have played
52:57the top-scoring team in the week, so I have to start three receivers.
53:01Is it even worth waiting out to see if A.J.
53:04Brown becomes something? Because I know high-angle springs are pretty bad productivity when you come back.
53:09Or if not, when is the best time to try to flip him?
53:13Like, right before he's gonna come back and play when value might be at its highest?
53:17I'm probably trying to go wide receiver for wide receiver here.
53:20I think you have to get him back doing something to trade him.
53:24I don't think this is the time. I mean, maybe it's right now, like today, when everybody's kind of like, ooh.
53:30But I think you gotta get him back producing.
53:33Yeah. It's always fun to try to figure out when's the exact right time to sell high on this certain player, right?
53:39I think that you put him on the block, and if you get an offer that you like, you move off of A.J.
53:46Brown. Yeah. So it's one of those, like, take the bird in the hand, right?
53:51If you don't need to wait for him to do anything and you can get a good deal, take it.
53:56Because there's always a chance, like, well, if I wait for him to play the Bears and he goes off, maybe he could get more.
54:04But you could wait forever and you could always get more, right?
54:07If he keeps on producing, it's like, I should have just kept him the entire time.
54:12So I think that if I were to time it, in my opinion, it would be Thursday night, he plays the Chicago
54:18Bears, has a big game, and then you trade after that point.
54:22Yep. Now, again, there's no guarantee that's actually how it plays out.
54:25But if you're really trying to aim for the maximum return on A.J.
54:29Brown, it would be an island game when everyone is watching in a good matchup against a really bad defense where he
54:36is not coming off a game and playing on Sunday where every other guy played on Sunday.
54:41So that would probably be the best timing that I would suggest.
54:44I agree. And, friends, that is going to do it for this episode.
