A.J. Brown

NegativeInjury0:41

Designated to return from IR after high ankle sprain; missed four games. Erickson expects cautious approach and believes he likely won't play Week 6 against Jets, preferring to hold him for Thursday night game against Bears on short week to get him fresh. Fitzmaurice agrees, noting high ankle sprains are serious (essentially knee injuries) with four-to-six week recovery timelines; prefers limited snap count or holding him rather than risking two games in five days.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup48:00

Brown is expected to play in Week 6 against the Panthers; the source notes that if Brown and Saquon Barkley are both active, it could make the Eagles' upset loss prediction look foolish, but the Eagles' offensive line issues and overall team dysfunction remain concerns.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveRole48:40

Young has been playing well for the Panthers coming off their bye week; the source highlights Young's performance as part of the Panthers' offensive momentum heading into Week 6 against the Eagles, suggesting the Panthers have an opportunity to make a real statement.

Insight page

C.J. Stroud

PositiveProjection7:23

Reuniting with Marvin Harrison Jr. in London. Fitzmaurice notes Stroud made Nico Collins, who didn't do much his first two years, explode in year three, suggesting Stroud has the ability to elevate receivers. Erickson notes Stroud will likely force some stuff but won't improve Harrison's route running or separation. Jaguars are pass funnel defense, so Texans will have to throw, making Stroud active in the game.

Insight page

Caleb Williams

NegativeRole49:30

Williams' status for Week 6 against the Falcons is uncertain; the source questions how the Bears will respond to their loss in Green Bay and whether Caleb will return, noting that the Falcons have been playing at a near-playoff caliber level offensively and defensively over the last three weeks.

Insight page

Carson Beck

NegativeProjection18:58

Fitzmaurice and Erickson both predict Carson Beck will start games before J.J. McCarthy. Erickson mentions there's another rookie quarterback they'll talk about later.

Insight page

Dak Prescott

NegativeProjection39:40

Prescott faces a high-scoring matchup against the Cowboys; the last time these teams played on Sunday Night Football, they scored 80 combined points in a 40-40 tie, setting up an over-heavy game script where Prescott will need to put up significant volume.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

NegativeRole40:30

Watson's play has been letting people see how good Denzel Boston is going to be as a pass catcher in the Browns offense. Boston is part of a complete offense that the Browns have if Deshaun Watson can avoid those fall-over sacks.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

PositiveMatchup26:06

Henry faces Ravens coach Todd Munkin, who was the Ravens offensive coordinator for the last two seasons; the source suggests this could be a revenge game for Henry because Munkin didn't give him the ball enough in the second half of their previous matchup, potentially motivating Henry to perform well against his former coach.

Insight page
PositiveUsage41:45

Derrick Henry is going to get a big dose of carries in Cleveland in Week 6. If Lamar Jackson doesn't play, it's going to be a big dose of Derrick Henry; either way, it's going to be a big dose of Derrick Henry. With Browns linebacker Carson Schwestinger questionable with an ankle injury and not practicing as of Wednesday, stopping Derrick Henry is going to be a challenge for the Browns.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeUsage21:57

Deshaun Watson looked horrible last week, taking eight sacks against the New York Jets. The Browns are banged up all over the place heading into their divisional matchup at Baltimore, creating a challenging environment for the backup quarterback scenario.

Insight page
NegativeProjection44:00

Watson played functionally for the Browns and made the offense go, letting pass catchers see how good Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion are going to be and making Harold Fannin work; however, last week against the Jets was bad and didn't help that they botched a punt. For the Browns to win outright against Baltimore, Watson has to be better than he was last week, or the Shadur Sanders watch is on.

Insight page

Drake Maye

PositiveProjection2:27

Welsh notes Drake May has found his rhythm after early-season struggles, bouncing back after three weeks of Welsh calling for it. Fitzmaurice agrees, emphasizing that Drake May finding rhythm is the key thing to watch, and that A.J. Brown's return will help the connection. Welsh is anxious to see the Drake May to A.J. Brown connection develop after it was taken away early in the season.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeInjury43:20

Dylan Samson is designated to return, indicating he has been out with an injury. There are a lot of banged up guys in the Ravens backfield that could lead them to pass the ball a little bit more.

Insight page

Fernando Mendoza

PositiveRole45:55

Mendoza is expected to take over as the Raiders' starting quarterback after Week 6, replacing Kirk Cousins following the team's third consecutive loss. This represents a significant opportunity for the number one overall draft pick to enter the game.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

NegativeRole40:24

Fannin wasn't involved in recent games but would get back involved if the Browns' offense gets going. Watson's play has been making Harold Fannin work as part of a complete offense that the Browns have if Deshaun Watson can avoid those fall-over sacks.

Insight page

J.J. McCarthy

NegativeRole16:01

Giants head coach John Harbaugh hinted team has more in store for J.J. McCarthy packages. Fitzmaurice expects McCarthy will eventually play due to inevitable Jameis Winston interception games, and believes Giants are working him into games knowing they'll probably feel obligated to start him eventually. Erickson notes McCarthy isn't a Taysom Hill-type player and questions the value of running RPOs and design run plays for a quarterback who's been injured for multiple seasons. Fitzmaurice and Erickson both predict Carson Beck will start games before McCarthy.

Insight page

Jacoby Brissett

NegativeRole52:20

Brissett is identified as a potential trade candidate; the source suggests he could be dealt to a fringy quarterback team as part of the broader trade market activity expected to accelerate in Week 6 as losing teams make moves.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

PositiveRole26:06

McLaughlin is positioned as an X factor in the Ravens-Chargers game; with multiple Ravens running backs banged up (Raheem Samson and others), the backfield injuries could increase passing volume and create opportunity for McLaughlin, the all-time leading college rusher across all divisions with over 8,000 yards at Notre Dame College of Ohio and Youngstown State.

Insight page
PositiveRole43:26

Jaleel McLaughlin, the all-time leading college rusher, is one of the many X factors in the Ravens-Browns game. He could be a factor if the Ravens' backfield injuries continue to mount.

Insight page

Jameis Winston

NegativeProjection16:01

Fitzmaurice expects inevitable Jameis Winston interception games that will irritate coaches, leading to McCarthy packages being used. Erickson notes Winston threw a really bad pick recently, prompting McCarthy package usage. Fitzmaurice and Erickson both predict Carson Beck will start games before McCarthy, implying Winston's struggles will eventually lead to benching.

Insight page
PositiveProjection50:20

Winston is expected to start for the Saints against the Giants in a must-see TV matchup; he attempted 54 passes last week without throwing an interception—the first time in his career with that many attempts without a pick—setting up a wild back-and-forth shootout game with Tyler Shuler and the Giants.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

NegativeMatchup41:00

Daniels faces a difficult matchup against the 49ers; Fred Warner's ability to erase quarterbacks in the run game will neutralize Daniels' reliance on his legs due to the Commanders' poor offensive line and hamstring injuries to both top receivers. Warner will spy Daniels, making the Commanders offense inoperable and creating a tough road challenge after the overtime tie loss to the Giants.

Insight page

Jayden Higgins

PositiveValue7:23

Fitzmaurice and Erickson discuss Higgins as having better long-term outlook than Marvin Harrison Jr. Fitzmaurice notes Higgins has not failed yet while Harrison has basically failed. Erickson suggests this is a great time to buy Higgins in Dynasty. In August, Nico Collins was talking about Higgins having face-of-the-league type potential. Fitzmaurice prefers Higgins over Michael Wilson in a trade scenario.

Insight page

Justin Herbert

NegativeProjection47:30

Herbert has not played well through the first five weeks; combined with mounting offensive line injuries and receiver losses, his performance outlook remains bleak against the Chiefs' defense in Week 6.

Insight page

Kirk Cousins

NegativeRole45:55

Cousins will make his final start of the 2026 season on Sunday; after the Buffalo Bills hand the Las Vegas Raiders their third straight loss, the Raiders will make the switch to number one overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza at quarterback, ending Cousins' tenure as the starter.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

NegativeInjury20:00

Per Schefter and league sources, Ravens QB Lamar Jackson has a realistic chance to play Sunday against Cleveland despite ankle injury. Erickson notes that either a backup QB starting on road in hostile environment or a potentially compromised Lamar Jackson off ankle injury could affect the matchup dynamics.

Insight page
NegativeInjury20:07

Per Schefter, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has a realistic chance to play on Sunday against Cleveland, but faces an ankle injury concern. The source emphasizes caution given what happened last year when Lamar Jackson returned from injury too quickly, resulting in poor performance that cost John Harbaugh his job. The Ravens need Jackson to be 150% ready to go; a compromised Lamar Jackson off an ankle injury creates risk in this divisional matchup.

Insight page
NegativeInjury41:45

The Ravens may exercise caution with Lamar Jackson in Week 6 against Cleveland. If Lamar Jackson doesn't play, it's going to be a big dose of Derrick Henry; either way, it's going to be a big dose of Derrick Henry in Cleveland.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup46:50

Jackson may start for the Ravens in Week 6 against the Browns; the source makes a bold prediction that the Browns will beat the Ravens regardless of whether Jackson or Tyler Huntley is under center, picking the divisional home underdog to win outright.

Insight page

Marquez Valdes-Scantling

NegativeRole47:15

Valdez-Scantling is the Chargers' number one wide receiver and leading in snaps, but the speaker emphasizes this reflects the team's offensive dysfunction and injury crisis rather than his quality; the Chargers have no shot offensively with him as the top option.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeProjection7:23

Making debut with Texans in London after trade from Cardinals. Fitzmaurice expects low snap count due to learning new offense and notes Harrison has struggled significantly this season: hasn't separated well, had trouble with contested catches, and nothing has looked good. Expects no dramatic turnaround despite reuniting with CJ Stroud. Erickson agrees expectations remain low; Stroud won't improve his route running or separation. Best case scenario is red zone fade route touchdown. Fitzmaurice notes his body of work through 2+ years mirrors Roman Dunzey's aggregate stats (yards per route run, yards per target, TDs), but Harrison is viewed as much worse producer due to top-five draft expectations versus reality.

Insight page

Michael Wilson

NegativeValue7:23

Fitzmaurice prefers Michael Wilson over Jaden Higgins in a trade, suggesting Wilson can be flipped on high. However, Erickson notes Wilson has an ACL tear, which is a strike against him. Fitzmaurice says he'd rather hold Wilson just because of the ACL tear concern.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveMatchup40:10

Evans has a favorable matchup against the 49ers secondary; the 49ers are without depth at pass catcher positions, and Evans established a strong game last week, positioning him well for this week's contest.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveProjection7:23

Fitzmaurice cites Collins as example of CJ Stroud's ability to elevate receivers; Collins didn't produce much his first two years but exploded in year three under Stroud. In August, Nico Collins was talking about Jaden Higgins having face-of-the-league type potential.

Insight page

Rashee Rice

PositiveUsage28:00

Rice is expected to be the focal point of the Chiefs offense in Week 6 against the Chargers; the source notes the Chiefs should probably run Ken Walker 30 times, implying Rice will be the primary passing target for Kansas City, who are 8-point favorites over a deficient Chargers offense.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeMatchup48:00

Barkley is expected to play in Week 6 against the Panthers; the source notes that if Barkley and A.J. Brown are both active, it could make the Eagles' upset loss prediction look foolish, but the Eagles' offensive line issues and overall team dysfunction remain concerns.

Insight page

Tyler Huntley

NegativeMatchup46:50

Huntley may start for the Ravens in Week 6 against the Browns; the source makes a bold prediction that the Browns will beat the Ravens regardless of whether Huntley or Lamar Jackson is under center, picking the divisional home underdog to win outright.

Insight page

Xavier Hutchinson

NegativeRole7:23

Erickson expresses strong preference for Marvin Harrison Jr. over Hutchinson, saying he'd rather have Harrison on field than Hutchinson, who 'just does a bunch of cardio and is not adding a ton of value.' Suggests Harrison's arrival is positive for getting Hutchinson off the field.

0:04Available on Plus and Pro Plans. Game on! What's up everybody and welcome into the tailgate.
0:09I'm Chris Welsh. We've got Andrew Erickson, Pat Fitzmaurice.
0:12Most importantly, we've got Week 6 of the NFL.
0:15We're breaking down some of the latest news. We are going to be making some predictions.
0:19We're going to be talking about some of the big games, a little bit of everything, all around the tailgate.
0:25Hanging with you guys. Thank you so much for hanging out with us.
0:29As you do, make sure you guys are subscribed to the YouTube channel.
0:33You don't want to miss any of the action.
0:36It's been a fantastic season and it's great seeing you guys because I was not here last week.
0:41Most importantly though, the superstar of this episode is our dear friend Pat Fitzmaurice, whom just is coming off of a Smashing Pumpkins concert, which you're rocking.
0:49Can we see the shirt? Can you bring up the...
0:52This is... So yeah, this is not a new shirt.
0:55I did not buy any merch because last night, believe it or not, about half of the available merch was co-branded with
1:02Chicago Cubs logos because Billy Corrigan is a giant Cubs fan.
1:05Disgusting. And as you know, I would get my pinky toe cut off before I would wear a Cubs logo on anything.
1:12And that leads to the second piece of gear, rocking this incredible Milwaukee Brewers hat, who are one game away from going to the World Series.
1:20You're living your best life, Fitzy. Right now you're living your best life.
1:23Smashing Pumpkins, Brewers are out there. I mean, Packers game this weekend.
1:27What more could you ask for? A friend and I pre-gamed at a bar near the United Center before that show last night.
1:34And we had time to see one at bat in that game before we headed over to the United Center.
1:40And it was a Jackson Churio solo home run to lead off the game.
1:44So that was a good omen, I think, for the rest of the night.
1:48Erickson, you got to get up early in the morning to pre-game with Fitzy.
1:53Like we've been on our trips before. Like I've tried to pre-game with Fitzy, but Fitzy's already in the game.
1:58He's already in the second quarter. I can't do too much of the pre-game.
2:03Erickson also is quite the gamer as well. What's up, buddy?
2:06I'm happy to be back on the tailgate. I also was not here last week.
2:10It was Fitz holding out of the fort with, I believe, our friend Alfredo Brown.
2:15So I'm sure that they smashed their predictions. But yeah, I'm looking forward to week six, jam packed matchups across the board.
2:22Let's go. Let's go. Speaking of let's go. I know you're going to get excited about this.
2:27We're going to jump into the news before we start talking about some of the games that matter most this weekend.
2:33And one of the biggest pieces of news that's floating out there, though, you know, some of the analysts want to go back and forth about it.
2:41But Erickson, your boy, A.J. Brown designated to return from the IR would be a huge piece for the Patriots.
2:47It's huge in that they found their ability to turn their game around, specifically Drake May.
2:52Drake May was becoming for many. Not me. You know this, Erickson.
2:55Every week I was calling for the bounce back, even though I was wrong like three weeks.
3:00But then, you know, squirrel finds a nut at some point.
3:04Drake May has kind of, you know, been able to right this ship and then perfect timing.
3:09You're going to get A.J. Brown coming back in.
3:12The designated to return is a little bit dicey, though, because there was a lot of celebration, as I think there should be.
3:18But then there's a lot of cold water people want to be like, well, hey, listen, it doesn't necessarily mean he's back.
3:25What's your take on it? He was practicing on Wednesday.
3:28I thought he looked good. I feel like this is lining up, but there is the do we hold him back?
3:34Does he have some type of a snapshot? What's your take on the designate to return and what this is going to mean and what A.J.
3:42Brown is going to be able to provide for the Patriots on this return?
3:46My gut feeling is that he's not going to play this week.
3:50Just if you had to ask me, that's what I would think.
3:53I think they want to be as cautious as they can be with a player that is not a spring chicken.
4:00A.J. Brown is an older wide receiver when the other guys have been stepping up around him.
4:05It'd be, I think, a bigger difference in need if the Patriots offense had looked like the first three weeks of the Patriots offense the last two games.
4:13And it was, OK, no, we need A.J. Brown like now ASAP.
4:17I don't really feel that way, especially when they're facing the New York Jets.
4:21So they're at home. They should take care of business.
4:24I think that the A.J. Brown boost could be useful more if he plays on that Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears.
4:31So on a short week, now you have A.J.
4:33Brown, who's a little bit more fresh. Again, not having played on Sunday, getting a fresh body in there.
4:39So I think that's how I would view it.
4:42Now, I'm not the doctor that's evaluating A.J. Brown.
4:45If they said, yeah, the ankle's good, you're good to go, then let's launch him.
4:49And I don't think we would probably see him in a full time role.
4:53I think it would just be out there. Hey, get your feet wet because they obviously have a lot of guys that they can rotate in.
5:01And the matchup against the Jets is not one to be feared.
5:05So obviously you don't want to take any divisional opponent lightly.
5:08So that's one thing to note. But at the same time, it is Mike Vrabel.
5:12And I think that he is one of the better coaches on making sure that his team is locked and loaded in.
5:19So I'm expecting them to roll here. We either if A.J.
5:22Brown doesn't suit up. Yeah, I mean, that's kind of where I'm at a little bit.
5:27It feels a little trappy. They've already had their, you know, down spots.
5:31They're finding some momentum. The short week, though, is probably the most critical piece to why they could not play him fits.
5:38But I tend I'm leaning that he's out there in some limited space because if you could get him comfortable, get him
5:44in a little bit of action, then you can maybe go full go on the Thursday game.
5:49But where are you at with A.J. Brown? And do you think this is going to be good for Drake May, even
5:56if they're only, you know, putting a limited A.J.
5:58Brown out there? I think I tend to agree with Erickson that they hold him out one more week.
6:04When we saw that injury was kind of the classic high ankle sprain.
6:08And by classic, I mean that as a euphemism for bad.
6:11It looked and a high ankle sprain is basically a knee injury, too.
6:15And four weeks missing four games, four weeks is pretty much the bare minimum on those injuries.
6:20And it can go out to like six. And it's been four missed games.
6:25And I feel like A.J. Brown is so important to that offense that why chance it's when things are going well?
6:31And I don't think they're going to take a divisional fall lightly, but agreed with Erickson.
6:36They could probably use him more for that road game in Chicago next Thursday night.
6:40Hold him back a little bit rather than ask him to play two games in five days and have him fresh to go in week seven.
6:48So it would be great to see him out there again this week, maybe on a limited snap count.
6:54But I think they're going to probably hold him back.
6:57I'm just I'm anxious to get him back and see what the Drake May to A.J.
7:01Brown connection can look like, because, you know, we got that taken away from us pretty early in the season.
7:07And hopefully we get still a long run out of made a brown pitch and catch connections coming up here soon, especially that he's right.
7:15You know, that's my big thing. Like, Drake may found his rhythm and that's what I'm looking for.
7:20And that's why I'd like to see A.J. Brown.
7:23New team, new country. Marvin Harrison Jr. is we're told is going to be making his debut in London.
7:29Not sure. That's the greatest spot here. Fitzy, what do you think about Marvin Harrison with this new destination?
7:34CJ Stroud, his buddy at quarterback in London, they say they're going to get him in featured.
7:39What are your expectations with seeing the debut of new Houston Texans?
7:43Marvin Harrison. Low, guessing it's not a giant snap count because he's trying to process a new offense, but things he has not played well this season.
7:51He hasn't separated. He's had trouble with contested catches.
7:54Nothing has looked good so far. If he's going to go somewhere and get a new ecosystem, I'm glad he gets to reunite with CJ Stroud.
8:01Maybe that helps out. But things have just looked so bad, I do not expect a dramatic turnaround to his season.
8:08Erickson, have you had any positive vibes around this move and him going to the Texans?
8:13Like, I feel like the team is trying to be positive about it, but there's just there's so many cooks in the kitchen.
8:19I think Stroud is going to force some stuff, but like Stroud's not going to make him a better, you know, route runner.
8:26He's not going to create better separation for him.
8:29The expectations to me are still low, but could London could Marvin Harrison have his best game of the year?
8:35Not in the US. I don't think it would have his best game of the year because he did catch a touchdown already this season.
8:42And I think that's honestly what his best case scenario would be.
8:46They put him in the red zone, runs a fade route.
8:49Stroud gives him a 50-50 ball and we'll see if he comes down with it.
8:54We know the Jaguars are a pass funnel defense, so the Texans are going to have to throw.
8:59So I think it makes sense that Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:02is going to be up and active in this game.
9:05I mean, anything to get Xavier Hutchinson off the field?
9:08Like, please, I would rather have Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:11out there than Xavier Hutchinson, who just does a bunch of cardio and is not adding a ton of value.
9:17I do think it's interesting, though, when Marvin Harrison Jr.
9:20first landed in Houston, he first talked about, yeah, so happy to be part of a great organization.
9:25I just thought that was really funny because it's like, oh, really?
9:29So you didn't like the other team that you were drafted by as a great organization?
9:34And it's like, obviously, like, he's obviously he'd say that about any team that we went to.
9:39But I just thought that was very interesting how we use those exact words.
9:43Like, yeah, it's nice to be part of a great organization with a quarterback that trust me, like.
9:48I think there's a bigger there's a bigger thing with Arizona just to throw this.
9:53Obviously, everybody knows about like I think it's the jugs machine, you know, that they didn't get or whatever he wanted.
9:59But but what's funny enough, there's actually a thing going on here in Arizona.
10:03There's this like content creator out here in Arizona that started a campaign with locals and they've got a bunch of money
10:10and they got a deal with the digital sign guys.
10:13And they've got a sell the team campaign going on and they're trying to get it viral right now.
10:19And it's like, you know, bid wells, get rid of the team like they've completely turned on the Cardinals.
10:24It's actually one of those things where like Marvin Harrison isn't going to necessarily leave Arizona hated because he is lightly saying,
10:31oh, great to be part of a great organization.
10:33Everybody else is looking around and they're like, this is an embarrassing organization.
10:37And you'll probably see something about it this week as it starts to pick up.
10:42I believe the signs are going active today as we're recording this, but sell the team and the bid wells.
10:48And there's like 12 digital boards that are going up in Phoenix.
10:51And we'll see if more is with it. You just made me think of that when you were talking about Marvin just being like, hey, good organization.
10:59Like everything is turning in the wrong direction for the Cardinals.
11:03And can I just point out how freaking mad I am with my amazing prediction?
11:07The Cardinals had to win the first game of the year.
11:11And now they look like an embarrassment. Like, yeah, they're going to go one in 16.
11:15They're going to be so embarrassing. And I'm not going to hold no cards to anybody because they won the first stupid game.
11:22And I was on here being like, they're going to not win a game.
11:26Just could they have just won the last game of the season?
11:30Let me have this for the year, dude. Do you think they give Carson back an audition soon?
11:35They said locally. I'm just again, I'm not an Arizona Cardinal fan, clearly.
11:39But I live here in Arizona. They said they're not going to consider it till the end of November.
11:45That's the word locally out here that they are going to go.
11:49I think that means a little bit more November, probably closer to trade deadline.
11:53But they said mid to late November is the is.
11:56And that's from local media is the first time they'll consider it.
11:59So, yes, Beck will. But it doesn't look like it's going to happen for, I would say, at least three more weeks.
12:06Last things I want to note about Marv before we go to the next topic.
12:10When you look at his body of work through two plus years in the NFL, a lot of his numbers look exactly
12:17on par with Roman Dunzey for the most part.
12:20Like just aggregate in terms of yards per route run, yards per target, touchdowns, etc.
12:24And obviously he's looked at as a much worse NFL producer than Roman Dunzey, I think.
12:29Not that I'd say Roman Dunzey has necessarily lit the world on fire.
12:33I think that he's probably been disappointing too. I mean, of those top 10 picks, Malik Neighbors is the only one that
12:39has lived up to his draft capital, in my opinion.
12:42I think that you guys would probably agree with that.
12:45I just think with Harrison, it really is just the expectations versus the reality.
12:50I think the reality is like he actually hasn't been like this like terrible wide receiver for two years, but the fact
12:56that he was drafted top five and that he's Marvin Harrison Jr.'s son and that he's put this like ungodly expectations on
13:03a rookie receiver going in the first round of fantasy drafts.
13:06Like that's why he feels like such a failure when you just look at the numbers.
13:11It's like, well, like, I mean, he hasn't really been like so bad.
13:15I mean, does he have like he almost caught what eight touchdowns as a rookie?
13:19Like, so that's why I'm I'm leaving the light on him for him with with Stroud.
13:24I mean, Stroud made Nico Collins, a guy who didn't do much for the first two years in his career.
13:30What happened to Nico Collins in year three? Friggin exploded.
13:33So at least that's those are my kind of final thoughts.
13:36Erickson is setting the bar at better than Xavier Hutchinson, which is like setting the high jump bar at like two feet,
13:43four inches have totally flipped where now it's like, dude, we if we got like if he could just be better than Kayshawn Booty, it's a win.
13:51Like, I mean, yeah, but what's a real like?
13:54OK, give me an example of a receiver that he becomes realistically that we're like, oh, this like the Cardinals screwed up.
14:00This actually was a really good guy. Cooper, if he could become a Mari Cooper, I think that would be as interesting
14:07because again, like do we look back at Mark?
14:10I think all this guy was like elite. It's like, no, but he had a couple of good years.
14:15And yeah, can he be T Higgins to Jamar Chase for Nico Collins?
14:19Is that a possibility? I think T Higgins would be I think T Higgins would put up even better numbers if he wasn't on the angles.
14:27Right. Let me ask you guys this. Who do you think has the better long term outlook, Marvin Harrison Jr.
14:33or Jaden Higgins? That's good. Oh, man, they love Higgins.
14:36Like I, I think it might be Higgins to what I think you're kind of alluding to.
14:41Can I take Jalen Knoll? I mean, can I take the third?
14:45Tank Dale. I love Tank Dale. Also like Tank Dale's floating around there.
14:48In August, Nico Collins was talking about Jaden Higgins having like face of the league type potential.
14:53So, I mean, I've got to think Higgins is the better outlook.
14:57Like Higgins has not failed yet. Marvin Harrison Jr.
15:00has basically failed. So is this the perfect time to buy Jaden Higgins in Dynasty?
15:04Is that what you're saying? Ooh, this is a great time.
15:08It might be, yeah. Dynasty. We got a Dynasty thing in there.
15:11All right, we'll see. We'll see what happens. Maybe we'll have a different tune.
15:15Maybe, you know, Houston will, he'll have maybe the humidity.
15:18Well, I guess he's in London. I would say the humidity would help him learn to cut routes, not the dry heat
15:25in Arizona, but, you know, it's London. Would you rather have Michael Wilson or Jaden Higgins?
15:30I'm a Michael Wilson guy. I'm just saying that's a trade you can get done.
15:34You can, you can flip Michael Wilson, sell on high and get Jaden Higgins.
15:38I'm asking because I have a team that's tanking right now and I have Michael Wilson on the trade block.
15:44I don't want to do that. But what about, yeah, Fitz, he's our Dynasty guy.
15:49I got to say Wilson just because, you know, a guy has an ACL tear.
15:53I mean, got to hold that as a little bit of a strike against him.
15:58A little bit. One last piece before we get into the games.
16:01According to Jordan Ronan over at ESPN, Giants head coach John Harbaugh hinted that the Giants have, quote, more in store for J.J.
16:08McCarthy packages. So here is my question, Fitzy, to this.
16:11Why? Why? Who, who, who's asking for this? Why would anybody want?
16:15What are we talking about? J.J. McCarthy packages. What, what is that going to do for anybody for him?
16:21I see that and I go gross. What about you, Fitzy?
16:24You know, they're going to play him at some point because, you know, there are three and four Jameis Winston interception games coming like that's just inevitable.
16:32And those kinds of games irritate coaches to no end.
16:35So I think McCarthy is going to play at some point, but the, maybe that's why they feel compelled to start working
16:42him into games, knowing that they're probably eventually going to feel obligated to start him.
16:46Isn't it very college? Like it's like the junior quarterback.
16:49And then they got the freshman in and like, we're going to give you a drive.
16:54Like, like it felt like this past week, Jameis threw a really bad, as he does a really bad pick.
17:00And then I was like, Oh God, here we go.
17:03And then they actually did the package. Like they brought McCarthy on, I think for a play or whatever.
17:08And then, you know, Winston ended up going off, but I'm, I'm just not sure I understand outside of like, from a
17:15college perspective, are you trying to make him happy?
17:18Like, is he going to learn on the job to create special?
17:21So to me, when I hear the, the special like quarterback packages, like they're probably going to just run with him.
17:28Like, I just don't know where this is going to help the development outside of them.
17:32Just trying to be creative. I don't get it.
17:35Yeah. Neither do I. I think Alfredo brought up a good point last on the tailgate that we did yesterday, the live
17:42stream that they probably had a set of RPO run plays designed for Jackson Dart.
17:46And they tried using Winston in them in practice.
17:49And they're like, Oh, this is not going to work.
17:52Like, but we don't want to throw all these great plays away.
17:55Like we spent so much time installing these, like, let's come to JJ McCarthy, who kind of, you know, you squeak.
18:02You're like, is that Jackson Dart? Kind of looks like, because I remember rewatching that game being like, wait, which, wait, who's at quarterback right now?
18:09I'm like, what are these plays? Because all he did was just get smashed on his two rushing attempts.
18:15That's the other thing that I'll get, right? You have a quarterback that's been hurt for multiple seasons and he's running RPOs on design run plays.
18:23Like that's his role. Great idea. I, I never, um, I never really thought Jim McCarthy was like a Taysom Hill esque type of player.
18:30Now, again, he can make some plays with his legs, but I don't know.
18:35Like it seems kind of like a net negative to me.
18:38So I don't really get it either. But I think to Fitz's point, it's just, yeah, inevitably he is going to get there at some point.
18:46I mean, it just depends on how many games the Giants keep winning.
18:50So we'll see. Who's starting games first, uh, JJ McCarthy or Carson Beck?
18:53I would say I will go with Carson Beck.
18:56I'll go with back also. There's another rookie quarterback, but we'll talk about him just a little bit later.
19:02So those are some news to chew on here.
19:05Before we get into the big games and the games that matter the most, I want to tell you guys about Polymarket.

19:43That's FPPOD to get $25 free after you deposit just 10 bucks.
19:46Gentlemen, let's talk about a few of the games for this big weekend.
19:50First up, how about a nice little division game?
19:53Baltimore in Cleveland. This definitely could be a game that would have maybe no eyes on it, but Cleveland has been sufficient.
20:00Lamar Jackson, maybe, you know, if he plays, maybe this makes us more of a route.
20:04If he doesn't, maybe this makes us an upset.
20:07Possibility. Baltimore is a five point favorite. This actually moved almost two points on the line over under 42.
20:13Per Schefter, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, a realistic chance to play on Sunday.
20:17This is per league sources. Baltimore and Cleveland in this, like I said, surprisingly competitive matchup.
20:21Erickson, let's start with you. What are the keys for this game?
20:25What are you looking at? Baltimore versus Cleveland. I think that the Browns are kind of being slept on a little bit
20:32here as the lone divisional underdog on this slate.
20:34That matters a lot. Like you cannot undervalue these types of spots, especially when you either have a backup quarterback starting on
20:41the road in a hostile environment or a potentially compromised Lamar Jackson off this ankle injury.
20:46We saw what happened last year when Lamar Jackson came back from his injury too quickly.
20:50And it was a disaster. So I'm Jesse Minter.
20:53I'm like, this guy better be 150% ready to go because I am not risking going through what happened and cost basically
21:00John Harbaugh his job last year because of how bad Lamar was when he came back and never returned to form.
21:06The Ravens know that they can beat literally anybody if they have a fully healthy Lamar Jackson.
21:11And that's the most important thing here. So I think this game is going to be a rock fight no matter what these AFC North games.
21:19It seems like every single time these divisional underdogs always come out on top.
21:23I pulled this from the betting pro show, but seven of the last eight games between AFC North teams have been won outright by the underdogs.
21:31The Browns six and all gets the spread versus the AFC North at home.
21:35The Browns as an underdog at home, their last eight games, seven and one against the spread.
21:40Like I get when you look at the X's and O's, you're thinking, okay, like the Browns like don't have a shot here.
21:47It does not matter when you just look at how these teams play each other.
21:52So I know Deshaun Watson looked horrible last week, took eight sacks against the New York Jets.
21:57They're banged up all over the place. It's just a different environment when you go to the dog bound.

22:32I just got YouTube Premium. It's got tons of awesome features like offline downloads so I can download my favorite videos before
22:38I travel and watch them whenever I don't have Wi-Fi.
22:41Because we all know airplane Wi-Fi is the worst.
22:44I get ad free, I get backroom play, and there's like a ton more in there.

23:17Trial eligibility varies, terms apply, cancel anytime. Think about it.
23:20When it comes to your own food, you can walk into a restaurant, see what's being made, and know exactly what you're getting.
23:27But with dog food, most brands keep that completely hidden.
23:30Just Food for Dogs does the opposite. They've built their entire brand around open kitchens.
23:34You can actually walk in and watch them prepare your dog's meals with real human-grade ingredients like chicken, beef, carrots, and peas
23:41cooked right there in front of you. No mystery, no behind-the-scenes you're not allowed to see.
23:46That kind of transparency is rare in the pet food world.
23:49And it's a big reason they've become the number one vet-recommended fresh dog food, earning trust from pet parents who want to feel confident in what they're feeding.
23:57When a brand is willing to show you exactly how your dog's food is made, it says a lot about the care,
24:04quality, and standards behind every meal they produce. Nothing to hide.
24:07Everything to love. Go to justfoodfordogs.com and get 50% off your first order.
24:11And also, if you've watched the Browns as a whole and not just singular games, you would know it is a competitive team.
24:18Concepcion and Boston, if Concepcion is going to be active on the concussion, brings this team in.
24:23Fannin wasn't involved. He would get back involved. They actually, if Deshaun Watson can avoid those fall-over sacks, they've got kind of this complete offense.
24:30And they've got a serviceable defense. So, Fitzy, I ask you, can the Browns win this game outright?
24:36I think they can. Deshaun Watson has to be better than he was last week.
24:40And if not, the Shadur Sanders watch is on.
24:43Because Watson had been playing, I don't want to say well, but functionally for the Browns and making the offense go, making
24:50the pass catchers work, like letting people see how good Denzel Boston and Casey Concepcion are going to be and making Harold Fannin work.
24:57But last week, it just was bad against the Jets and didn't help that they botched a punt.
25:02The one thing I kind of agree with Erickson, I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens exercise caution with Derrick Henry.
25:08And one thing that might allow them to do, or excuse me, with Lamar Jackson, not Derrick Henry, I think they would use Derrick Henry a lot.
25:16Because another key injury in this game, Browns linebacker Carson Schwestinger, a tackling machine, questionable with an ankle injury.
25:22I don't believe he was practicing as of Wednesday.
25:25If he is out, boy, stopping Derrick Henry is going to be a challenge for the Browns.
25:30And you would imagine that if Lamar Jackson doesn't play, it's going to be a big dose of Derrick Henry.
25:36It's going to be a big dose of Derrick Henry either way in Cleveland.
25:40But I do give the Browns a chance because they are a much scrappier team when they're at home.
25:46It just seems like offense goes to die in Cleveland.
25:49And they can turn this game into a rock fight.
25:52And in a low-scoring game, the underdog always has a better chance than if it's a shootout.
25:57We'll also have to watch, though. Judkins banged up.
26:00Dylan Samson designated to return. But him, Raheem Samson, there's a lot of banged up guys in the backfield that could lead
26:06them to pass the ball a little bit more.
26:09Well, Welsh, then they could just bust out the all-time leading college rusher, Jaleel McLaughlin.
26:13Oh, baby. As you do. One of the many X factors in this game, Jaleel McLaughlin and Todd Munkin, right?
26:19That guy knows this Ravens personnel pretty, pretty well.
26:22Now, maybe that's more like a revenge game for Derrick Henry because he didn't give Derrick Henry the ball enough times in the second half of the game.
26:30So Derrick Henry is going to make Todd Munkin pay potentially.
26:34But I do think that there is actual advantage with Munkin knowing about all these Ravens offensive players that he was the coach for the last two seasons.
26:42And by the way, just in case anyone questions the all-time leading rusher thing for Jaleel McLaughlin, this is across all college divisions.
26:49Jaleel McLaughlin, of course, played at Notre Dame College of Ohio and Youngstown State and piled up more than 8,000 rushing yards at those two places.
26:57I think he was over 2,000 yards in both of his seasons at Notre Dame College of Ohio.
27:02It's like those high school stats you see where you're like, did you know that he rushed for 5,000 yards and 34
27:09touchdowns in eight games as a high school senior?
27:11And you're like, what? I can't wait to see that flashed up on the game broadcast.
27:16It's going to be Derrick Henry college yards versus Jaleel McLaughlin.
27:19You'd be like, you rushed for more yards. It was Jaleel McLaughlin.
27:23I love that. All right. Next game up, this is a potential battle of the undefeated to the defeated, where the Chargers
27:30really, and I'm going to talk about this later, so I'm going to abstain from it, but the Chargers have an opportunity
27:36to be winless going into their bye week. Kansas City coming off of a bye.
27:41This line had actually opened up, by the way, just to point this out.
27:45It was like two and a half on an open line, and then it jetted up to eight.
27:50Kansas City is an eight-point favorite. Not a lot of points necessarily projected here, and I think that ends up being about the Chargers and their deficient offense.
27:59So, Fitzy, what I'd ask you, do the Chargers stand a chance?
28:02Is there any way we see signs of life?
28:05Because I think this is it. Like, the Chiefs are probably going to be about Rishi Rice.
28:10They should probably run Ken Walker 30 times. So that's fine.
28:13Do the Chargers show any signs of life that they can salvage this season, or is this season going to be over and encapsulated from this game?
28:21I think it's going to be over and encapsulated from this game.
28:25I just don't think the Chargers offense can work with the state of their offensive line.
28:30It doesn't sound like Joe Alt is going to play this week.
28:33They're talking about maybe him needing to see a neck specialist.
28:37The interior of the offensive line is bad. Left tackle Rashawn Slater is hurt again.
28:41And it just seems like, I don't know, Mike McDaniel is maybe the good coaches can tailor players, or they tailor their scheme to the players.
28:49And I don't feel like Mike McDaniel has sort of done that.
28:53I feel like he's trying to fit square pegs into round holes in his scheme, and it's not working.
28:58And I kind of expect that this is going to be Mike McDaniel's last game.
29:03And that if things go poorly, and I expect them to against Steve Spagnuolo's defense with the Chiefs coming off a bye,
29:09an extra couple of days to prepare for one of the worst offenses in the league.
29:14I think, you know, I don't see Jim Harbaugh as the kind of guy who wouldn't hesitate to make someone else walk
29:21the plank for his team's terrible start. So I kind of think this is it for Mike McDaniel.
29:26His swan song is the Chargers offensive coordinator. Eric Erickson, he's going to pull McDaniel in the office.
29:31He's pull up his slacks, put a glass of milk down.
29:35Would you like a glass of milk and then just say, sorry, buddy, we're gonna have to move on and then just leave.
29:42That's that sounds like how that's going to go.
29:44Any signs of life, any chance, anything you've seen that this Chargers team can rebound?
29:49It looks like they'll have Vlad McConkie. They don't know what they're doing.
29:53Their running game looks like a disaster. Will this be one more undefeated team and a winless team going into week seven, Erickson?
30:00I think so. I think that the spread kind of suggests that again, this isn't just a tough matchup for the Chargers.
30:06I mean, it's the Chiefs, right? Like these are the top dogs coming off a bye week against a team that has
30:13been beaten through first five weeks of the season, dealing with more injuries.
30:17I think that you can draw some parallels between the Chargers and Eagles this year and how dysfunctional and broken they looked
30:23on offense because under new offensive coordinators installing new offenses.
30:26It's hard to do it when every single week you have less to work with, right?
30:31Like every single week you lose another offensive line and you lose a receiver.
30:35Like, dude, when Marquez Valdez scaling is your number one wide receiver.
30:39Oh, and leading in snaps and stuff. You got no shot.
30:42What are we doing? You got no shot. So again, like obviously Mike McDaniel is largely to blame here, but Herbert has not played well.
30:50Losing all these guys to their injuries, like that's not going to help anybody.
30:54So I think offensively, Mike McDaniel, if he's reading the newspaper clippings about like this is going to be your last game,
31:00then you got to go yellow here, dude. Like you got to pull out everything you got.
31:05So the thing, the plays that you say for the second half of the season, no, you got to pull everything out.
31:12Now, if Ladd is out there, you got to pepper him with as many targets as humanly possible because he is the
31:19only thing that has worked in this offense to this point.
31:22And it's been a very limited sample size because Limey Kong is obviously been banged up.
31:27But I would expect at least with Ladd, that's how they're going to at least move the football a little bit against the Chiefs.
31:34But I'm expecting more of an underwhelming game across the board.
31:37I think this is actually a pretty strong under if you look at Andy Reid.
31:42So I know that this is a really popular topic.
31:45We talk about like the Chiefs off the bye week, Andy Reid.
31:48Oh my God, this guy is so good after the bye week, 22 and four after a regular season bye week.
31:54So, I mean, the guy basically never loses. They didn't lose last year, though.
31:59Interesting against the Denver Broncos after their bye week.
32:01But the actual better bet is three and 10 towards the over after their bye week.
32:06So it's not really the offense that really comes out firing.
32:09It's actually their defense actually plays pretty well. So I do think the Chargers can actually keep this a little bit closer because it's a divisional game.
32:17It's the last stand for a lot of these Chargers pieces.
32:21And the one thing that has worked well for the Chargers the last couple of weeks, the defense has actually played a lot better.
32:28Like everything is about their offense and how bad their offense is.
32:32And that's obviously putting the defense in tough spots.
32:34But they're right now 10th in pressure rate. If you look at what they've done against opposing offenses, Seattle went three for 12 on third downs.
32:42Denver, one for 12 on third downs against the Chargers defense the last two weeks.
32:47So if their defense can play. Is this going to be a circus survivor buster for you?
32:52Is this what you're trying to tell us? I think it could be tight.
32:56I think this could be sweaty for those back in the Chiefs.
32:59But I mean, they're going to pull it out the end.
33:03Andy Reid after bye always wins. Doesn't always cover.
33:05But I think that this might actually be tight.
33:08Because I think right now the Chargers are, I mean, what's closer than backs against the wall?
33:13Like they are the wall at this point. Like, yeah, I.
33:16And so, again, it's a divisional game that these things are always played tighter than the X's and O's would always suggest.
33:23And again, I don't think the Chargers are going to win because it's going to be some offensive.
33:28Debacle that kills them in the fourth quarter, which has basically been what's hurt them the most.
33:34It's like these turnovers have been absolutely brutal. And I think that's ultimately what cost Mike McDaniel job here.
33:39Points, points and points. The next two games are built around points.
33:43Buffalo and the Raiders. It's got a line of 52 and a half.
33:47Buffalo pretty heavy favorite as they should. Mr. Fitzy, I ask you, where are you going with this game?
33:52Raiders have played up a little bit as of recent.
33:55It's been kind of squirrely. Gentee looks like he is going to be good to go.
34:00Buffalo has been on a tear. Is this line correct?
34:03Is this a sneaky game or is Buffalo going to run away with this?
34:07Almost a touchdown favorite on the road. I think the line is correct.
34:11I do kind of expect Buffalo to take care of business.
34:14It just seems like things are coming together for them.
34:17Eventually, the defense has to catch up. Like Jim Leonard's defense has to play better if the Bills are going to go to the promised land.
34:25The one thing that maybe would have given me some hope for the Raiders in this game was that I know Spencer
34:32Brown, the right tackle for the Bills, has been dealing with, I think, a back issue.
34:37And, you know, right tackle going up against the Raiders.
34:40That's the person responsible for Max Crosby primarily. And a big problem if you don't have your starting right tackle going against Crosby.
34:47But it sounds like Spencer Brown is going to be OK.
34:50He he said it's a minor thing he expects to play.
34:53So, yeah, I think the Bills handle the Raiders in this one.
34:57And also, this is like one of those opportunities.
34:59I think the Raiders have just been competitive enough to just be seen not in a disastrous light.
35:05This does feel like a game that could maybe turn the tides.
35:08I know Bitsy's got to take on the quarterback situation that could be moving forward.
35:13This seems kind of like a pressure built game where maybe the season starts to turn in the opposite direction for the
35:19Raiders if they can't make this competitive. Yeah, I know that we talked about the Raiders as a team that started out
35:263-0, obviously lost to the Chiefs, lost to the Patriots.
35:29And now it's like, OK, do they keep up?
35:32Do they lose again? Right. And then like this hot start from the.
35:36What a stretch, by the way. Yeah, the Raiders with this.
35:39Oh, they're a contender. Like they're going to make a run, maybe make the playoffs.
35:43But then it's like, even though they played the Chiefs really tight, went toe to toe, they still lost.
35:49They did not look good against the Patriots playing on the road.
35:53Now back at home, it's another really tough draw.
35:55So how are the Raiders vibes feeling after starting out 3-0 and then dropping three straight games potentially?
36:01So I do think that this is going to be a fun matchup from an offensive explosion standpoint.
36:06I think that the Raiders secondary could potentially get eviscerated.
36:09I mean, there's no way we're going to get as bad of a passing performance two weeks in a row from Josh.
36:16I just can't see that happening, especially if they get DJ Moore back.
36:20If they decide to remember that Dalton Kincaid actually does play for the team and maybe actually feature him a little bit more.
36:26It just blows my mind that like the passing game is struggling and then they just don't throw the ball at Dalton Kincaid.
36:33Isn't it like aren't those things kind of like correlated?
36:36Is it just? Yeah, there's a correlation. So to me, it's pretty simple of like getting these players involved and I will
36:43always get my popcorn ready for Josh Allen in a dome.
36:46Right. We got that treat last week against the Rams.
36:49Just an absolutely epic game and we get it again.
36:52So I know that the Bills are excited about their new stadium.
36:56It's not a dome, but I mean, if we got eight plus games of Josh Allen in a dome, like it would be so much fun.
37:04So dreams, what dreams are made of two more games here.
37:07And we're going to Fitzy's great weekend where the Green Bay Packers are going to be hosting the Dallas Cowboys.
37:13And this line, I think it's moved around a little bit.
37:16Green Bay is a one point home favorite. It's probably going to even toll around maybe an even marker, but I think
37:23it's one of the higher numbers of the week.
37:25The totals at 53. So Fitzy, the question is, is what does this game look like for you?
37:31There's a ton of power offense. Is there a defensive play in here?
37:35How do you think this Green Bay matchup against the Dallas Cowboys going to play out?
37:39Track meets shootout at the OK Corral. Really entertaining Sunday night game.
37:43Lots of points. We just saw Jordan Love completely set the Chicago Bears defense ablaze last week.
37:48And now he gets the Dallas Cowboys, who rank dead last in DVOA against the past, dead last in EPA per play against the past.
37:56Their opponent passer rating is 120, which to put that into perspective, the career Aaron Rodgers passer rating is 102.
38:02So, yeah, teams are just torching Dallas. And I would expect Jordan Love and Christian Watson and Matthew Golden and Tucker Kraft
38:08to put on a show against Dallas this week.
38:11But Dak Prescott has thrown 40 or more passes in three straight games.
38:15They are willing to go toe to toe and pass with anyone.
38:18And they're bringing CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens to the party.
38:22And I thought I saw that Packers best outside cornerback Keisha Nixon not practicing.
38:26Not a good thing when you're about to face George Pickens.
38:29So, yeah, there are going to be points in this one.
38:32I would not be surprised if we saw a total like over 60, 65.
38:37But is Christian Watson maybe the best receiver we should be talking about in this?
38:41I believe I know there's two Erickson. There might be three first touchdowns this season.
38:46He is Mr. First Touchdown. Christian Watson. I'm betting it this week and I'm putting it on the prop show.
38:52So Christian Watson might be one of the biggest X factors because he has been so consistent.
38:57So I'm stoked about this game from the wide receiver matchup.
39:00But any takeaways for Dallas and Greenback? Yeah, this is one of the most coolest matchups when you go to the wide receiver duos, right?
39:07I think that combined receiving yards, the two Packers receivers and the two Dallas receivers have the highest yardage totals among receivers on the same teams.
39:15So it's like these two dynamic duos going back and forth, track meet style.
39:19The Cowboys are obviously coming off that terrible Thursday night loss to rookie backup quarterback Jalen Daniels on Thursday night when they
39:26were eight and a half point favorites. And they just like freaking turd because that's just what the Dallas Cowboys do.
39:32So I think this is a bounce back spot for them.
39:36But ultimately, it's going to come down to who has the ball last, right?
39:40Because Dak Prescott knows he's got to put up 40.
39:43The last time we saw these teams play on Sunday Night Football last year, they scored 80 points in total.
39:49And we were robbed because it was a tie at 40 to 40, which just sucks.
39:54But there's no way we can have two ties in back to back weeks, right?
39:58That's that's impossible, right? Of course not. Of course not.
40:01This is all overs, overs, overs, baby. Love it.
40:04Final game. We get to the hat here. San Francisco 49ers.
40:07My 49ers are hosting the Washington Commanders. The 49ers are without everybody.
40:11At least if you're a pass catcher, they'll have a great matchup from a rating standpoint.
40:15Mike Evans really had that great established game last week.
40:18They don't have a lot of depth, but the players that they have out there, they get the work done.
40:24The Commanders to Jaden Daniels credit. I really was kind of like a fade away.
40:29I just didn't know what this was going to look like.
40:32Like he was running for his life and it was relatively successful.
40:36Are the commander? I mean, I'm biased. I'm a 49ers fan.
40:39I sometime I'm pick on them, though. Like I try to be a realist, like their defense.
40:44I still put questions on. I think people are giving a lot more credit to the defense than I do.
40:50But the 49ers look like one of the best teams in the NFL right now.
40:55Erickson, do you think the Commanders can make this a competitive game?
40:58Because I got to be honest with you, I'm not really sure that they're going to be able to do that.
41:04I mean, step on digs is active. I think that helps a little bit.
41:09Slot corner coverage is a tiny bit tougher, but I just don't know if the Commanders are going to be able to
41:15make this that competitive of a game. Seven and a half points.
41:19There's a hook on it. What do you think?
41:21What's your breakdown of the Commanders in the Niners?
41:24It feels really easy to feel like Jaden Daniels getting more than touchdown.
41:28He's an elite quarterback. Oh, yeah, this is an easy bet.
41:31Like they'll keep it close. But schematically speaking, this Fred Warner impact on this 49ers defense makes all the difference in the world.
41:38And we talked about this. I don't remember which week it was.
41:42It was the Dolphins 49ers game. And you pointed out Welsh very astutely, dude, Fred Warner can erase quarterbacks in the run game.
41:49Absolutely. So the fact that Jaden Daniels has been so reliant on his legs because the offensive line is terrible.
41:55Both of his top receivers are dealing with hamstring injuries.
41:58I just think that we're not going to see a repeat performance from Jaden Daniels as a rusher because they're going to spy him with Fred Warner.
42:06And that's going to be what changes this game and makes the Commanders offense inoperable and make it a really tough challenge
42:12for Jaden Daniels on the road after that overtime tie against the New York Giants when they totally flubbed the last play
42:19when they just could have kicked the field goal.
42:22They would have won the game. And look, I never want to be, you know, calling for cheering for guys to lose
42:28their jobs and things like that with Dan Quinn.
42:31I know that I've talked about that a lot of tailgate shows like he was one of the guys I thought, hey,
42:37like we're looking at coaches who could potentially get fired.
42:40So I want to make sure that I'm being cognizant that never want anyone to lose their job.
42:46Dan Quinn is Dan Quinn's a really good football coach, like but he has not changed the defense the way that he
42:52should have the way that this roster has been built.
42:55Again, blaming Adam Peters a little bit, a lot of bandaid fixes, right?
42:59Not a lot of established players, young players that Jaden Daniels can rely on.
43:04So for me, I think that this is a curb stomp waiting to happen.
43:08And I feel bad because I think this could be it for Dan Quinn just because of the optics of what happened last week.
43:15The defense has been terrible. Mike Sanders still is still one of the worst cornerbacks in the NFL and teams know it.
43:21And they just keep continuing to target him again and again and again.
43:25So for me, I think look, I usually don't like laying these massive numbers to with like heavy home favorites.
43:31But to me, if Jaden Daniels isn't running or they're able to stop that, I don't think this office is going to have any answers.
43:39It's the biggest problem. The Niners are getting their pass rushers back or perceivably.
43:43And then the corners have been playing great. The defensive, the defense is going to be stopping them whatsoever.
43:49And you can't get McLaurin. McLaurin deep, I actually think is the scariest thing about this.
43:53It's going to be a rough day for Washington.
43:56Fitzy, what did you take 49ers on Monday Night Football?
43:59Yeah, I mean, as much as I would like to, you know, concoct some horror story for you, Welsh, it's a letdown
44:06game for the 49ers after the big win over Seattle and everything.
44:09It's just can the commanders, you would have to imagine morale in that locker room is pretty low after the fiasco at
44:16the end of the Giants game last week. And now you've got to go cross country to play the undefeated 49ers.
44:22It just seems like a it does seem like a beat down spot.
44:26Yeah, I think I mentioned this on the live stream or maybe it was the no, I think it was actually the
44:33waiver show we did, but AFL, all these major league, minor league baseball players and this Royals player saw my 49er hat
44:39on and he just walked by on the field and he went bang, bang.
44:43And then, you know, we're out there like the nine of the niner gang is ready and rolling.
44:49And those are the big games to be watching for this weekend.
44:52We're going to make some calls and we're going to give you guys a thing to watch coming out.

45:42It's time to make a big call, my friends.
45:45Fitzy, you are going to kick it off here.
45:47And this is one that I alluded to a little bit earlier.
45:51Your big week six call maybe has a big change in store around the NFL.
45:55Yeah, Kirk Cousins is going to make his final start of the 2026 season on Sunday.
46:00And after the Buffalo Bills hand the Las Vegas Raiders their third straight loss, the Raiders are going to make the switch
46:07to number one overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza at quarterback.
46:10That is a big that's a big one. And actually kills me, too, because in a Super Felix League, we had picked
46:16up Mendoza a couple weeks ago and then had to drop him because it's like, well, they're not gonna make any change anytime soon with Cousins.
46:24And now you're on this potential 0-3 run where you could see Mendoza.
46:28So that would be the big rookie or young quarterback that we'd be excited about.
46:32Erickson, week six, big call. What do you got?
46:35Browns beat the Ravens. I don't care if it's Tyler Huntley.
46:38I don't care if it's Lamar Jackson. Give me the divisional home underdog to win outright in the dog pound.
46:44Do the dog. Do they do like a dog thing?
46:47Do they like, ooh-ooh? I think my wife actually, when the Browns were playing the other night, she asked me, what is up with their uniforms?
46:55Like, what is a Brown? And I was like, I think it's named after the owner of the team.
47:01And then they just kind of embrace like dogs.
47:04My favorite thing, I'm not gonna go on a tangent because we're gonna be quick here.
47:08But one of my favorite things in sports is just absolutely nonsensical connections.
47:12Like the Phoenix Suns. And then there's a gorilla for a mascot.
47:16You know what I mean? Like makes absolutely no sense.
47:19It's there's no connection to it whatsoever. And they're just like, hey, here's a color.
47:23And then we like dogs. I love non-connecting. It's funny when the teams move and they don't change it.
47:29Right. So like the Los Angeles Lakers. Right. No, it doesn't make any sense because they were at a place that had lakes.
47:36They moved to LA and they just be like, well, this sounds cool.
47:40Let's just keep it. And then the other one was both the Utah Jazz.
47:44Like makes literally no sense. I'm not. Yeah. I mean, New Orleans Jazz would have made more sense.
47:49That's where they were before. That's what they were.
47:52Yeah. And then they moved to Utah. And it's like, let's just keep it.
47:56I'm so smart. I didn't even realize that. So there you go.
48:00Yeah. It was. Utah. They're like, we like that.
48:02We don't have a culture through too much of it.
48:05Sorry, Utah. You probably were great. I had beautiful.
48:08I hear it's beautiful. Go Utes, baby. Go Utes.
48:11Utah mountains or whatever. But yeah, I love the weird connecty things.
48:14Mine, by the way, I'm going to go in.
48:17I'm not really sure that there's that many Panthers in Carolina for that connection, but I am going to be rocking the
48:24Carolina Panthers as an upset over the Eagles. Eagles offensive line is a disaster.
48:28Now this is going to look stupid if Saquon Barkley and onto Smith are both going to be playing in this game.
48:34But regardless, the Eagles are kind of a mess right now.
48:38Panthers are coming off of a buy. Teddy, Tedrow McMillan, Jalen Coker, Bryce Young has been playing well.
48:43I think this is an opportunity for the Panthers to make a real big statement.
48:48So I am going to play out the Panthers upset over the Eagles.
48:52And boy, we're going to have something to talk about next week about the Eagles and their coaching and everything going on offensively.
48:58All right. One big thing now to watch for the week.
49:02Fitzy, what are you watching for week six? How do the Bears respond to getting completely decked in Green Bay last week?
49:08Like that was a tough loss for this franchise with Ben Johnson having talked a lot about the Green Bay Packers and
49:15how he feels about them and their rivalry and Matt LaFleur.
49:18And then he went up to Green Bay and got completely smoked.
49:22And that right after the death of Mike Ditka, too, you know, to have him die right before a Packers Bears rivalry
49:28game and have the Bears go out and perform like that.
49:32And now they're getting a Falcons team that's been playing really well lately.
49:36Lost a tough one to Baltimore last week. But Atlanta, both offensively and defensively, has looked almost playoff caliber the last three weeks.
49:42And, you know, if Caleb comes back or if he doesn't, how do they respond to that egg they laid in Green Bay last week?
49:50Erickson, what are you watching for week six? Saints, Giants, because anytime James Winston starts games, it's kind of must see TV.
49:56I think the funnest stat about last week's game was he attempted 54 passes and didn't throw an interception.
50:02It was the first time he ever had that many pass attempts.
50:06So clearly the chickens are going to come to roost here next week.
50:10So I think this could be a wild back and forth type of shootout game.
50:14And we might get James Winston not playing the rain for the first time in a month because the last three Giants
50:21games have all had weather play a role. So I did check the forecast.
50:25It's like 10 percent chance of rain. Please rain.
50:28Don't ruin this. We want to see a shootout with Tyler Shock and James Winston just like chucking the ball all over the field.
50:35So I think this game could be pretty fun.
50:37The one I had, we already kind of talked about.
50:40I was going to say it's the can Mike, can Mike McDaniel survive a go, you know, a completely winless run going into the bye week?
50:48And I don't think so. I'm going to kind of turn it because the charges are important to this.
50:54But mine is the losers are losers. The losers keep losing.
50:57And this is going to open the floodgates. I think this is the week for the trade market.
51:03There's been a lot of talk. I think Schefter's talked about it, that there's a lot of trade chatter.
51:08The trade markets in the NFL are way bigger than they were in the past.
51:13There are teams, there are players like Josh Swett has requested a trade kind of behind the scenes with the with the Cardinals.
51:20And, you know, there's a few situations like that happening.
51:23I think the losers continue to lose this weekend.
51:25And this will be the week that is going to make those changes happen.
51:30Maybe the Bucks are going to make some trades.
51:32The Cardinals are clearly looking at some more trades.
51:35The Chargers could be looking at making some moves.
51:38I think the losing culture of week six is going to open the floodgates of trades into week seven.
51:43That's going to be my big call. Any specific comment?
51:46Oh, yeah. Good. Any specific player Welsh that you think will get dealt?
51:50I mean, I think sweat is a guarantee to be traded that.
51:54But that's not like what about exciting and super fun?
51:57Khalil Mack for the Chargers. Yeah, I think Khalil Mack is what I think Jacoby Brissett.
52:02I think Jacoby Brissett is going to be one.
52:04A team that maybe is a fringy quarterback. I mean, if the Raiders didn't have Mendoza and they felt they could still
52:11be competitive, maybe that would have been one. But I think Jacoby Brissett would be one of those.
52:16Actually, you know what? Drop the comments below. Who are some players you guys think are going to get traded?
52:22What surprise player? I mean, Brian Thomas isn't in the loser range, but who could be traded?

53:58This is Chelsea Handler from Dear Chelsea. If you travel a lot with your dog like I do with Doug, feeding them
54:05well on the road can get surprisingly complicated. Especially when you're touring 30 plus cities, staying in hotels, flying, driving and basically living out of a suitcase.
54:13Frozen dog food sounds great until you realize you don't exactly have a freezer backstage.
54:17That's why I started bringing Just Fresh from Just Food for Dogs.

55:04That's why I like Sensodyne Clinical White. Its triple action formula whitens, polishes and helps protect against sensitivity.
