0:23I've done a lot of super flex best ball drafts with Tom Strachan over on the best ball live stream on Twitch.
0:29So I feel like I'm not really in uncharted waters here.

1:12And I know one of the people asking me that question, Matty Ice is in the mock with us today.
1:17So yeah, this should be fun. Bogman, you're at the 109.
1:21I assume you will not be skipping quarterback. That's just not really in your DNA from what I can tell.
1:26Probably not, but it is a mock and I did pick kind of the middle to do that specifically.
1:32So we'll see like if there's too good of a of a quarterback to fall back to me.
1:37I did a mock yesterday where I was picking at nine and Jaden Daniels fell to me and I was like, well,
1:43better go ahead and take Jaden here. So if a good one falls to me, I will take one.
1:49But I am going to try to not take a quarterback in the first round and see what it looks like because it's something I typically don't do.
1:57So hopefully the Dewey decimal system doesn't smoke us over here.
2:00So that would be nice. I kind of wish I was picking in the middle just because I never do when you're hosting.
2:06It's so much easier to pick on the end.
2:09So that's why I always take either the 101 or the 112.
2:12I've got the 101 today. It would be nice to kind of test out a middle one.
2:17It's just harder when you're trying to play host as well, because I feel like I always either end up with whoever
2:23follows me at the 112 or Josh Allen with the 101, which is who I'm going to take.

2:57No sense in overthinking it. You have the 101.
3:00It's Superflex. I think you could argue he's in a tier of his own.
3:04Even I know Fitz really likes Drake May when we're talking dynasty.
3:07Lamar could be really good this year. I'm going to keep it simple.
3:11Josh Allen, 101. Easy pick. Would anybody here have done anything different or is it Josh Allen across the board for you three?
3:17Josh Allen for me. It's got to be Josh Allen.
3:20I think there's a case for Drake May, personally.
3:23Really? I think if you're going to – I think the second pick is interesting because I think May versus Lamar is really intriguing to me.
3:30There's been a lot of very positive discussion about what Declan Doyle has done in camp so far in Baltimore.
3:36Lamar has won the MVP. I keep saying this stat.
3:39He's won the MVP every time he's at a first-time offensive play caller.
3:43His first year in that new offense, he's won the MVP.
3:46He does go 102 here to Matty Ice, and then May goes three.
3:49So unsurprising, one, two, three. You could quibble with the order, I think, on two and three for the most part.
3:55Can I ask Erickson real quick? If you're doing KDS in a Superflex 12-man, what is your number one spot to pick at?
4:02Is it threes because you get one of the best quarterbacks, you get the nice pick coming back in the second, or
4:08would you maybe go something later to pivot from quarterback in the first round?
4:12I think for me, Drake May is the person that I want the most, so kind of strategically placing my draft slot
4:19where I can get him the latest. So here he went third overall.
4:22So I know that when we've done the Superflex mocks or the best ball drafts with Tom, I've gotten Drake May at one.
4:29I've gotten Drake May at three. I've gotten Drake May at five.
4:32So it varies a lot of the time. And look, I don't mean to go on a whole soliloquy about Drake May
4:39over Josh Allen because I do think Josh Allen is still, he's the quarterback to beat.
4:43He's number one for a reason, but some of his passing yards per game fell off a little bit last year.
4:49Now a lot of that have to do with the receiving core, but double some injuries at the end of the season.
4:55We'll see how long the rushing lasts. Drake May is a rushing quarterback.
4:59Drake May also got A.J. Brown and Romeo Dobbs, two receivers that are better than anyone they had last year.
5:05So I just think that this could be another ceiling year for Drake May.
5:09Erickson is on the clock here. Fitz, you do go away from quarterback taking Bijan Robinson out.
5:14Did you make this pick having seen his new haircut?
5:17I've not seen the new haircut. Am I going to regret the pick?
5:20It's astonishing. It is a jaw-dropping decision by him, this haircut.
5:23Bogman brought it up before we started taping the show, before you hopped in the room, and my jaw hit the floor, quite honestly.
5:30Interesting. I've not seen that. Hopefully this is not a bad omen.
5:34Well, what went into your decision of Bijan versus Gibbs?
5:37Because clearly you wanted to go running back here.
5:39What went into that choice for you between those two?
5:42I'm really close, and if I'm lucky enough to get the 101 in redraft, in 1QBs obviously, in six different leagues, I would probably split it 3-3.
5:50But if you're going to force me to make a choice, and I know Gibbs has had the better touchdown output for sure.
5:56What I prefer about Bijan, just that he's bigger.
5:59If you're going to have a workhorse role, like I want the guy who's built more like a minivan.
6:04I want the guy with the NASCAR build rather than the IndyCar build for workhorse duty.
6:09And I feel that's, you know, Bijan is maybe just a little bit better equipped to handle the sort of workhorse role
6:15that we hope both guys are getting this year.
6:18We're into the early second round, but circling back to your first pick, Erickson, you do go Jamar Chase.
6:23I think if you want to go away from quarterback, that's also a pretty easy choice of best receiver on the board,
6:29arguably the best non-quarterback on the board. Was that just kind of your goal all along to get somebody like Chase?
6:35No, I didn't realize that Gibbs was still available.
6:38I honestly, I didn't even fathom the idea that he would actually still be on the board.
6:43So I was just looking really quickly because I was talking about Drake May while I was on the clock.
6:49So, of course, I'm distracted, distracted in drafting. But Jamar Chase still is, again, my number three overall player.
6:54It's full PPR. He can be the wide receiver one with a healthy Joe Burrow.
6:58And I do think that in full PPR, you are a little bit more open, or I'm more open to drafting the
7:05top skill players because it's easier for them to close the gap versus in a half PPR where the quarterbacks just scored that many more points.
7:12than the skill position players. Yeah, I think full PPR starting through receivers, Chase is justifiable for sure in the middle of
7:18the first round, even in super flex. Bogman, you do go with the quarterback with your first pick, Jaden Daniels, and you
7:25pair him with Christian McCaffrey in round two. What are your thoughts on your first two picks?
7:29Yeah, I mean, look, Hurts and Herbert went ahead of Jaden Daniels.
7:33So he's my fifth player in super flex. So to get him at nine, I thought was just too big of a deal to pass.
7:40Gibbs would have been a fine pick there, too.
7:43But I got McCaffrey on the way back. So liking the build to start here, even though it's a lot of injury risk up at the top.
7:50I was thinking about this earlier, and obviously I wasn't in a position to pick him.
7:55I think I might have Justin Herbert as my QB5, and I think he might be closer to QB4 than QB6.
8:01I'm just like so intoxicated with this is the most talented quarterback that we've seen in one of these Shanahan style systems
8:07before in terms of the arm strength and the processing, just everything.
8:11Like I want to see this Terminator quarterback in a Mike McDaniel offense, and I really want to be invested in it
8:17rather than playing guessing games on like is it Quentin Johnson this week?
8:21Is it Trey Harris? Like I like Ladd McConkie.
8:23I just want a lot of Justin Herbert, and I think I'd rather have him than Jaden Daniels in a new offense coming off the injured year.
8:31Jalen Hurts, you know, there's always been questions there.
8:33Like I just like him that much, I think.
8:36It's understandable. There's definitely a lot of upside there, but I still – it's the legs, man.
8:41I'm on the clock here. Yeah, and I think that's fair.
8:44I'm going to take Bowers. Just I think he could break fantasy this year.
8:48It's full PPR. I think he's going to catch a ton of passes in Vegas and be the tight end one.
8:54Second pick to pair with Allen and Bowers, obviously, I'd like to get some running back and receiver help getting going here.
9:00I'm just going to take – you know, I'm going to take A.J.
9:04Brown. New offense paired with the elite quarterback. You know, Drake London, I just have more questions about the quarterback that he's
9:10paired with right now, so that's kind of the tiebreaker for me.
9:14Going with Brown, I could have easily gone London or Nico.
9:17Wanted to take a receiver there given who's on the board, but I go A.J.
9:21Brown. Fitz, you're on the clock here at a couple of spots.
9:24Justin Jefferson so far. Are you going to kind of break the seal on quarterback now or looking to wait even longer at the position?
9:32I think I'm going to break the seal on quarterback.
9:34We'll see, though. No guarantees. I mean, there are – I've said that in one QB, I feel like there are about
9:4118 quarterbacks I would be okay with as my starting quarterback.
9:44And some of those guys are still on the board.
9:47Now, I don't know if any of those guys are going to be on the board when I pick again in the
9:53middle of the fourth round, so I'm probably going to have to act here pretty soon.
9:58Eric, you have Jamar Chase paired with Brock Purdy.
10:00Was Purdy an easy choice for you compared to Dak Prescott selling the board, Jackson Dart, Bo Nix, Patrick Mahomes?
10:06When you were at that spot, did it feel like there was a bit of a discussion with you internally to make
10:12that call, or was that easy for you? I was looking at another player that I don't want to name until Pat Fitzmorris makes his pick.
10:20So we'll let Fitzy after you. I love this tension.
10:22There was another quarterback I was looking at, though.
10:25Well, while Fitzy's on the clock, I'll just run through a recap of some of the other guys that have gone off the board.
10:32James Cook, O'Marion Hampton, CeeDee Lamb, Dak Prescott in the back half of round two.
10:36First half of round three, besides the picks I made, Drake London, Patrick Mahomes, Jonathan Taylor.
10:41That feels like a pretty nice value early. A few picks into round three, I considered him at the turn.
10:46And then Chase Brown. And then Jackson Dart goes to you, Fitz.
10:50Yeah, I was a little torn between Dart and Nix.
10:53Thought it was encouraging that Nix led the league in pass attempts last year, even though he was playing on a team
10:59with a really good defense, which suggests he's going to throw a lot of passes again this year.
11:04Dart is going to be a wild ride, for sure, because of the way he plays, which is, you know, recklessly would be putting it kindly.
11:12I'm a little more encouraged, though, by the fact that we saw Malik Nabors looking pretty good in practice the other day.
11:18And boy, I mean, I had Malik Nabors ranked wide receiver 22 a couple days ago.
11:22And Erickson and I just took him in the Kings Classic draft in Canton, where we were partnering up, like at the
11:29beginning of the fourth round in a 14-team draft.
11:31I mean, he goes up to like if he's good to go for week one with seemingly no limitations, it's a top 10 wide receiver.
11:38And I feel that much better about Jackson Dart with a healthy Malik Nabors.
11:42Erickson, the fact that you didn't take a quarterback here after Fitz picked, is that telling that you wanted Dart?
11:48Exactly. That's who I was going to go after here.
11:51And it was someone that I was considering even when I was picking in the second round with Brock Purdy.
11:57I do think that the conversation in super flex formats, I do look at quarterbacks a little bit differently.
12:02I think that if I was able to, I would actually have quarterbacks ranked differently in a two quarterback league versus a one quarterback league.
12:09Because in one quarterback league, you can really just shoot for the moon where you can be like, I want all upside
12:16because you can play the waiver wire. Whereas in two quarterback, you really value, I think, a little bit more of that
12:22stability where you're just looking for is this guy starting every single week?
12:26Where with Jackson Dart, because of his more volatile type of play, the rushing in terms of, OK, is this guy going
12:32to be the blue medical tent every other week?
12:34That concerns me if I've taken the second round as my stable quarterback.
12:38That's why I wanted Purdy instead, because I feel really good about him.
12:42I know he got hurt last year, but in terms of him being there available, putting up weekly production at a top
12:4812 rate, I feel good about that. Which is why I prefer Dart as a two than a one.
12:54Yeah. Bunting so far were a few picks in around for the only manager to not have taken a quarterback.
12:59A couple of managers already have two. He has none.
13:02He started with Puka, JSN, Devon Achan, and Kenneth Walker.
13:05While Bogman's on the clock, Fitz, what do you think about that start from Bunting?
13:09Wow. Really good start with the positional guy. So it'll be interesting to see how Bunting can spackle that quarterback position.
13:15I know Bogman wanted George Pickens based on his high, the pick before him.
13:19Bogman, you've started Jaden Daniels, CMC, Trey McBride. You and I are the only two to take a tight end so far.
13:26And then Matthew Stafford as your QB too. Yeah, just a little more stability with the wild ride that is Jaden Daniels with Matthew Stafford, right?
13:33CMC, I thought was a nice value pick. But I was between McBride and Pickens.
13:37I went with McBride here. Lots of touchdown upside, obviously, at a premium position.
13:41But man, to miss Pickens by one spot was brutal here.
13:44Especially if very few quarterbacks go in between this pick too.
13:48But I did just pivot to Stafford to give myself some stability at the QB spot.
13:52Alave goes next. And then Erickson, you take Flowers, a player that we've talked about a lot on various shows this summer.
13:58You are clearly buying into him in this new offense led by Declan Doyle paired with Lamar Jackson.
14:04Yeah, I just think that he has improved every single year of his NFL career.
14:08He is elite after the catch. He can make plays downfield.
14:11He's super explosive. So JSN last year was one of the rare wide receiver ones or wide receiver two, however it was, in weeks 17.
14:18I know it was right neck and neck with Puka.
14:21But how was he able to be so highly ranked in finishing without seeing a monster red zone share?
14:26It was because of all the explosive plays he was able to generate, especially downfield.
14:31So I look at Zay Flowers. I think he has no competition for targets.
14:35I don't think Mark Andrews has anything left in the tank.
14:38And it's Bateman. It's rookie receivers. I think Flowers could flirt with a 30% target share.
14:42And I think he could see 1,500 receiving yards this year.
14:46And if he can score touchdowns, that's the one thing.
14:48It's like, imagine if Happy knew how to putt.
14:51Imagine if Zay Flowers knew how to score touchdowns.
14:54Like, and then we're cooking with gas. Fitz, you go Kyler.
14:57So you got Dart and Kyler as your QB duo here.
15:00How are you feeling about that pair? Could not resist the urge to go double Konami at quarterback.
15:05And, you know, with the two running guys and being able to pair up Kyler with Justin Jefferson works really well.
15:11Kyler was QB one in fantasy points per game in every season of his career until last year.
15:16And now he gets to play with Kevin O'Connell.
15:19And if he can just win this QB battle against J.J.
15:22McCarthy. Yeah. Yeah. So I'm feeling pretty good about a Kyler bounce back.

16:03of the real core of your team, obviously. Somebody other than your own team.
16:07I want to go around the horn and hear who you guys like best so far.
16:11Bogman, I'll start with you. Who's a team that you like best their start other than your own?
16:16I like Pepper with Gibbs, Lawrence, and then the two strong wide receivers right next to me, even though Pepper took pickings from me.
16:23Very annoying, but I really like this build so far.
16:26As long as we shore up that second QB, which I think is on the way here in this round.
16:32Erickson, what about you? I like your team, Warren.
16:34I think you're shaping up pretty well, my fellow zero RB brother.
16:38I always fall into that when I do these mocks for whatever reason.
16:42And then when I do a real draft, I'm like, I probably should get a running back a little bit earlier.
16:48But I just, I'm like, I'm just, again, it's a three receiver league.
16:51It's full PPR. And I'm just like, I love these players so much.
16:55I would have considered like if Derek Henry had gotten back to me based on the rankings, I would have considered.
17:01I was thinking about Jeremiah Love maybe, but they didn't get to me.
17:05And I didn't like the running backs there as much as the receivers.
17:08So I appreciate that shout. Fitz, who stands out to you?
17:12I mean, I like Bunting's start, but as I mentioned, they're about 18, maybe 19 quarterbacks I'd feel okay with.
17:17And by my count, they're 17 off the board and Bunting does not have his first quarterback yet.
17:22So, but I do also like the zero RB starts with you and Erickson.
17:26You know, yours a little partial to yours just because you have Brock Bowers.
17:30You have the best quarterback and the best tight end in this league.
17:34Again, your wide receivers are still hot fire with A.J.
17:37Brown, Ladd McConkie and Ted Aron McMillan. So that's a pretty impressive start.
17:41Yeah. Taking Bowers always kind of means like you're going to be short somewhere else if you get that early tight end.
17:47But I just think the idea of pairing the best tight end with the best quarterback, if I ever have the 101,
17:53like that's the direction I want to go. I really like Grimm just because I like Herbert so much.
17:59I'm buying into a gente bounce back, you know, if Bo Nix is healthy on the ankle and can still be mobile.
18:05And then a lot of it was like a real league winner in December last year for player fantasy managers.
18:11The other guy that I would point out is I think Suggs is having a great start.
18:16Caleb Williams, Amin Ross, St. Brown, Saquon Barkley and Derrick Henry.
18:19Like we don't care about the age of those running backs.
18:22This is a redraft league. I think that's really fun.
18:25And I'm curious to see that it rest. It doesn't Sugg to be him.
18:29Correct. It's Sugg to be everybody else, but not him.
18:32Malik Neighbors, because you kind of referenced him earlier, like we are sort of navigating this injury landscape with him and his return.
18:38And like there was I think a lot of people assumed he'd just be on PUP.
18:43He doesn't start camp on PUP. Some of the highlights look pretty good.
18:46Fitz, what do you think about Malik at 503?
18:49I considered him at the turn when I took Lad and Teddera.
18:52I decided to avoid the injury risk. But what do you think about where Neighbors does go?
18:57Yeah, I'm trying to look and see where what was he as far as the count at wide receiver.
19:03Looks like he was about something like 18th. Yeah.
19:05I mean, that's that's good value now. I think he's got to be inside the top 20 at wide receiver and arguably is closer to 10 than 20.
19:13Wide receiver, too, for sure. And that on on that team behind CeeDee Lamb, I think is perfect is a perfect fit.
19:20A lot of really good receivers going off in the last seven or eight picks here.
19:24I mean, in the last looks like eight, nine picks, it's we've had Devontae Smith, Garrett Wilson, Ladd McConkie, Teddero McMillan, Malik
19:30Neighbors, Tee Higgins, Emeka Ibuka, and now Jalen Waddell.
19:33That's a really strong stretch late fourth, early fifth.
19:36Obviously, some of those guys falling because all the quarterbacks going early with super flex.
19:40But I feel pretty good about waiting until the third round to get my first receiver, given some of these names that got back to that turn.
19:48Erickson, you're now on the clock here. You already have three receivers, so I assume you're not going to fourth.
19:53What direction are you thinking right now? Coach is telling me that there is a quarterback drop off here.
19:59So that's the direction I'm going here. Jared Goff, to me, is the perfect quarterback for these two QB super flex formats
20:05because steady Eddie lines have the easiest schedule in the NFL.
20:08They basically don't play outside until week 18 in bad weather.
20:11So he's going to end up being in that top 15 conversation.
20:15I get if you don't love him from a one quarterback league perspective because he doesn't have any value as a rusher.
20:21But when you're just looking at the pure pocket passers, I mean, he's thrown 30 touchdowns over the past three seasons.
20:27He's the only quarterback to do that. So I look at how high Joe Burrow goes and then I'm like, I get
20:33Jared Goff like round five in the super flex.
20:36And like when you look up, is anyone going to be surprised if they have like similar passing yardage and touchdown numbers?
20:42I don't really think so. So I'll take Jared Goff here round five.
20:46Yeah. Like you said, particularly in super flex, that feels pretty good.
20:49Bob, man, you're just getting sniped right and left, though.
20:52God. Yeah. I mean, the pickings, it's a wide receivers to pickings on the front end and then burden on the back end here.
20:59I went with T-Mac, obviously a lot of volume there for him.
21:02But yeah, that was that was a brutal stretch there.
21:05Yeah, I already praised him. Sugs to be you.
21:08Like I already loved his first four. Then he gets Colston Loveland with the late fifth.
21:12I like that. This is my favorite team. Doesn't even matter what else he does.
21:17I love that. But I will say bunting, you know, for having passed up on all those quarterbacks early fits.
21:22Jordan Love and Malik Willis is pretty good with the position players he has elsewhere.
21:27Yeah, he did it. He he got those two guys inside the top 19.
21:31I feel like Willis was kind of the cutoff.
21:33And Willis is by no means a safe quarterback.
21:36There's going to be a lot of volatility. Kind of smoothed it out with Love, just the real solid, you know, pure passing type.
21:43So there's more upside with Love this year, too.
21:45Honestly, then right. Sort of his reputation was suggest the Packers the last two years, 31st and 22nd and pass rate over expected.
21:52So, you know, they're the defense probably isn't going to be as good without Micah Parsons for the first nearly half of the season.
21:59So there might be a few more Packers shootouts than they've had the last couple of years.
22:04Javante William goes to Graham. I was kind of eyeing him to break the zero RB stretch if he had fallen.
22:10Didn't expect him to. Bogman, you take Roma Dunes a pick.
22:13You know, I like quite a bit. We've talked a lot about him on shows and I I think he's undervalued this year.
22:19I think he's closer to what he was at the beginning of last season when he was looked like a real breakout
22:26than he was in the second half when he was injured.
22:29I'm all in on Rome. Yeah, I don't know how much I believe players when they talk about how great they feel.
22:35But I don't know that we would be discounting him if he hadn't have said this is a new normal for me
22:41earlier this year, because today he said this is the best I felt since being in the NFL with or post this foot injury.
22:48Right. So I think that's all great news for him.
22:51Kind of wanted Josh Jacobs again getting sniped here, which is starting to get on my nerves.
22:56But the pivot to Rome wasn't a hard one.
22:58Eric said you go with the elder statesman at receiver.
23:01So you've got four now already. You've got your three starters and your flex spot filled.
23:06You take Mike Evans. Trying to win the flex as you try to do when you go zero RB.
23:11So Mike Evans, look. Last man standing potentially in the 49ers receiver room.
23:15Ricky Pearsall down for the count. So sad to see.
23:18You don't want Stribble? Pop up again for him.
23:20I mean, we'll see what Stribble can do, but he's a rookie.
23:24All I know is Mike Evans is going to catch a lot of touchdowns.
23:28And I have Brock Purdy. So I have that stack already built in.
23:32So ultimately, Mike Evans is my flex as my wide receiver four.
23:35And he can lead the NFL in touchdowns this year.
23:38Yeah, I like this pick a lot. Fitz, as I consider what my pick's going to be, why don't you talk about Jameson Williams as your third receiver?
23:46He had 1,100 yards last year, averaging exactly six targets a game.
23:49And the splits were night and day between the time John Morton was calling the plays for the Lions and the time
23:56Dan Campbell ripped the play sheet out of John Morton's hands and took over for himself.
24:00Like, J-Mo's yardage per game basically doubled after that happened.
24:03And he had just been getting in the cardio with John Morton running a lot of go routes and everything.
24:09Dan Campbell started getting him more involved horizontally running crossing routes and stuff.
24:12And you get J-Mo the ball in stride with a full head of steam, like, defenders do just look like traffic cones.
24:19That guy can move. And I'm excited about him.
24:21Like, I think he's got a lot of upside.
24:24And, you know, two straight 1,000-yard seasons, this guy's the real deal.
24:27Yeah. I was planning on pairing Bucky Irving and Travis Achan with my picks here to kind of get both starting running
24:34backs, two guys that I think are going to be more than good enough with the rest of the strengths on my team.
24:40Achan goes one pick before me, which was a bummer.
24:43I get how Bogman feels now. So I do still go with Bucky Irving, a player I know that you like a lot, Fitz.
24:50And then I decided to kind of go with the Erickson approach of really strengthening that receiver position since we went with the early zero RB.
24:57I went with DJ Moore, who, you know, back with Joe Brady as a play caller, paired with, obviously, the quarterback I took 101.
25:04I think he's still a good player. He's still young enough that I'm not, like, writing him off at all, just given
25:10that it didn't totally end up being a fit with Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson.
25:15So as my wide receiver four, I'm really excited about DJ Moore.
25:18We do get another tight end off the board here.
25:21Tyler Warren goes early in round seven. Carnell Tate, who I was debating between DJ Moore and him as my wide receiver, he goes 704.
25:28David Montgomery, and then Fitz takes his guy, Travion Henderson.
25:31Yeah, look what happened in the three games that Ramondre Stevenson missed last year.
25:35Travion Henderson averaged about 110 yards from scrimmage per game, scored five touchdowns in those three games.
25:40And I know that people are kind of frightened by what they saw in the playoffs, where Ramondre basically was the man in the backfield.
25:47I don't think that's going to last. I just, I want to play to the upside of Henderson because I think there's pretty immense upside.
25:54This dude had four runs of 50 plus yards last year.
25:57And I think over Ramondre's entire career, five years maybe, he's had three runs of 40 or more yards.
26:03And Henderson outdid that in one year. Like, we know where the upside is in this backfield and I kind of want to chase it.
26:10Erickson, you take Jordan Tyson. Just three picks after Carnell Tate, would you have considered Tyson over Tate or do you have
26:16that as the correct order and he was just next on the board for you?
26:20Yeah. It's the correct order for me. I think that Tate just has the clearer path to being the number one guy
26:27out of the gates, even though I do think Wanda Robinson is kind of underrated, especially with his relationship with Brian Dayball.
26:33I think that he's going to see some volume in this offense, but I think Tyson is just oozing with upside attached
26:39to Tyler Shuck entering his second season under Kellen Moore.
26:42And I'm in a position where I'm so low that wide receiver.
26:46I don't need Jordan Tyson to hit out of the gates.
26:49Like, he can be a bench player for me that can, maybe he is that second half league winner that I need
26:55when Mike Evans inevitably pulls his hamstring, which I know is going to happen at some point during the season.
27:01So I got Mike Evans out of the gates and then Jordan Tyson helped him get me home at the end of the year.
27:08Bogman, no receivers for you until the back half of round five, but now you've gone four in a row.
27:13Terry McLaurin, Roma Dunze, Marvin Harrison Jr. And Chris Godwin, how are you feeling about that receiver room for you?
27:19Yeah, these guys keep taking my running backs. I want I've wanted running backs three rounds in a row.
27:24I wanted Jacobs. I wanted Travion. I thought that was a pipe dream, but I was backing him up with Judkins and then Messer Grimm took Judkins.
27:32And I said, I'll just take Jadarian Price on the turn because all of these animals have running backs behind me here.
27:38Nope. Tootin and Jadarian Price go. So I pivoted to Chris Godwin.
27:42So I was stacking up on this this wide receiver core here, which is what I needed after going early tight end
27:48and spending two of my top four picks on quarterbacks and having CMC wedged in there.
27:53So I like the wide receivers. Now I got a nice mix of McLaurin, Odunze, Harrison and Godwin potentially for number twos is fine here.
28:00But I am I am frustrated with the running back situation.
28:03Erickson, I wasn't going to take him obviously because I have powers.
28:06I think Tucker Craft is one of the best picks of the draft so far in the eighth round.
28:12If he's if he's back healthy, I just could not be more all in on that.
28:16He was a tier one tight end before getting hurt last year.
28:20It looked like a true breakout, like one of the elite guys.
28:23Just love him as a player. Love him as a fantasy guy.
28:27So I think eighth round is really nice for him.
28:29Fitz, you take a tight end right after a Harold fan.
28:33And would you have taken Kraft or did you were you eyeing fan at all along?
28:37Oh, I was absolutely going to take Kraft and knew Erickson was going to snipe me there, even though he doesn't have a running back.
28:44There was a sliver of hope that Erickson might feel compelled to finally get his running back.
28:49No, so I do think there's sort of a drop off between Kraft and Fannin.
28:53I do like Fannin. Wouldn't surprise me if he led the Browns in targets and catches this year.
28:59Really talented player. But, you know, I do sort of hate that I went down to the next tier with the very next pick.

30:31On the clock here, I'm going to take Stevenson just like I know we all want Trevor and Henderson to get all
30:38the workload, but I think there's a chance where Stevenson is just still the RB one in what is an ascending offense I expect to be.
30:45And I don't love a lot of the names after him.
30:48So I wanted to get a second running back here.
30:51I still do need a second quarterback. I sort of waited.
30:54There hasn't been one taken for a few rounds.
30:57I think I will take CJ Stroud. I'm a believer in the player.
31:01I'm hoping that the offensive line is better this year.
31:03And I don't want to overreact to like everybody saw how bad he was in that playoff game.
31:09I don't want to overreact to that. I still think as a QB two paired with the best quarterback you can have,
31:15I'm very willing to have CJ Stroud as my quarterback too.
31:18And even if there is a bit of a gap between him and the guys who went ahead of him, which makes
31:24sense because two full rounds went with nobody taking a quarterback.
31:27So that gap is already built into the price, I feel like.
31:31And I didn't want to risk not getting another quarterback to fall back to me.
31:35So that's a thought for mine. Fitz, you are the next player up here, just a couple picks away.
31:41None of us are going to be on the clock before you.
31:44Who are you eyeing? Makai Lemon to be my fourth wide receiver.
31:47I think there's a reasonable chance that he is the best wide receiver in this class.
31:52And I think the Eagles offense is going to be a lot better now that Kevin Petulo is not calling the plays.
31:58And it's going to be Sean Mannion. Luckily, Rashad White went to awesome dev right in front of me.
32:04I'm going to take Lemon. Yeah, Lemon, you know, pretty close to Tate and Tyson during the NFL draft season in the spring.
32:10And then now he goes two rounds later. That feels like good value just based on the player Lemon compared to Tate and Tyson.
32:17The smartest GM in the league traded up to get him.
32:20And I know everyone's going to remember that Howie Roseman drafted.
32:23Oh, I can't even remember. Jalen Rager. Jalen Rager had a Justin Jefferson.
32:27But look, I mean, Howie has this reputation for a reason.
32:30He's really good at what he does. And even though that was a pretty colossal mistake, probably the biggest misstep of his career.
32:37Look, I think he knows what he was doing with Makai Lemon.
32:40And, you know, I wouldn't be surprised at all if his numbers were not that far behind Devontae Smith this year.
32:46One of my good friends and I, we were hosting a Ravens podcast for NBC Sports at the time of that draft.
32:53And he was trying to convince me that Jalen Rager was going to be the best receiver in that draft.
32:58So not as public as what happened to Howie, but I remind him of that every now and again.
33:04Really nice pick by Grimm, Jonathan Brooks. I was planning on taking him if he got back to me.
33:09Wasn't sure if he would or not. That's a really nice one.
33:13I like Grimm's team a lot. Erickson, you double up at tight end.
33:16I was surprised to see Kincaid go after you got Kraft.
33:19What was the thought process there? I'm going to be on the phone with Spectrum Internet very, very soon because I did not want to pick Dalton Kincaid.
33:27I wanted to pick Jonathan Brooks. Oh, no. And it was not working for me.
33:32So, yeah, that's a shout out to my laggy internet connection, apparently.
33:35So, yeah, I wanted Brooks and I deservedly will be knocked for this pick because I didn't want to make Kincaid.
33:41This is why you set your cue. This is why you create a cheat sheet with the cheat sheet creator at Fantasy Pros and draft on that.
33:49So the rankings are set that way in your draft room to make sure your lousy internet cannot get in the way of a good draft.
33:56Thankfully, just a mock for Erickson. Otherwise, he would have gotten – he would have been a lot more upset to not get his guy Brooks.
34:04Bogman, you double up at running backs with your next two picks, Rico Daddle and Aaron Jones.
34:09Yeah, I hate this draft. I've gotten sniped too many times.
34:12I don't like what I've done here. Going back, I'm probably not taking McBride.
34:16I'm taking a running back and taking a tight end later, specifically with Kraft and Fannin falling so far.
34:21So frustrated here, but doing the best I can.
34:24You know, Rico still probably in line for 50-50 split for Warren.
34:27I would assume that he's the goal line back.
34:30Aaron Jones, while he's healthy, I'll probably back him up with Clayborne or Mason at the end here.
34:35But yeah, pretty frustrated with how this has turned out, to be honest.
34:39If it makes you feel any better, Bogman, I also don't like your draft.
34:43So – Yeah, thanks. Yeah, it makes me feel way better.
34:46Appreciate that. Yeah, Blake Corbin, Kyle Manungai, two other guys along with Brooks that I was kind of eyeing to hopefully get back to me.
34:53It's hard picking on the end because there's so many picks between, and you've got to kind of wait for them to get back.
35:00You know, nice job by Bunting and Suggs, both of whom's drafts I continue to like quite a bit, to take those
35:06two guys around before I could get to them.

36:08All right. I'm going to take Addison here, just a guy that's constantly catching touchdowns.
36:12I think he's a good player, even though there's some question at quarterback, and he's the number two receiver in that offense.
36:18Just a guy that I feel like is kind of perennially undervalued.
36:22I would like to take another running back at some point here.
36:25All the ones I wanted have gone, though, so that is starting to get trickier and trickier.
36:30I've been a Chris Rodriguez guy so far early in draft season, just pairing with Liam Cohen, who coached him in college.
36:36I think there's an opportunity to get some touchdowns there.
36:39I'm not 100% sold on Bashal Tootin, who went four rounds earlier.
36:43So I'll take the swing on Rodriguez as my RB3 here.
36:46Don't love it, but again, all the running backs that I wanted went in that.
36:50Between my picks, there was 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 running backs that went.
36:56Really kind of board didn't shake out the way I wanted.
36:59So I'm kind of stuck settling for a guy like Rodriguez.
37:02Maybe he scores a lot of touchdowns and runs hot in the red zone.
37:06Makes me feel better about it. Last couple of picks made by you guys.
37:10Erickson took RJ Harvey. Fitz, you take Sam Darnold as your QB3.
37:13Did you go into this kind of expecting to take a QB3 and be a little more aggressive about getting that back up at the position?
37:21Not necessarily, but when Jackson Dart is one of your quarterbacks, I think you are incentivized to get a third quarterback because
37:27you've realized Jackson Dart is probably going to miss a game or two due to his own, you know, failure to make business decisions.
37:34Yeah. Yeah. Erickson, you take RJ Harvey with your last pick and then you're on the clock here.
37:39One away. What was the thought process there? Did the internet cut out or was that the running back you wanted for your first RB?
37:46If it works out in my favor, it's going to be that I drafted the third string running back on the Denver
37:53Broncos as my RB one speaking tongue in cheek.
37:55Look, it's full PPR. RJ Harvey was a catch machine last year as a rookie, which is not something that you often
38:01see from running backs first in the NFL. So I think that that role is going to be somewhat stable year over year.
38:08So even if JK Dobbins is the early down usage running back and Jonah Coleman takes on that role, once JK Dobbins
38:14gets injured, inevitably, I still think Harvey's going to have a role and they like using a lot of red zone, like using around the goal line.
38:22So 12 touchdowns last year, yeah, probably not repeatable, but Hey, at least suggests that they're open to continue to use him
38:28in the red zone as both a rusher and receiver.
38:31So it's a good offense, good offensive lines, going to score a lot of points.
38:35So I think Harvey, look, I understand the risk with him, but I mean, he's so cheap now where I think if
38:42you just look at his rookie year and just kind of zoom out, you're like this guy caught like 50 passes, scored
38:4812 touchdowns, had over 800 yards from scrimmage. And he's the second year running back that goes in the 10th round, like double digit rounds.
38:55Like that's about, I think it's worth making. Yeah.
38:58Uh, it's just curious because you have largely been the RJ Harvey fader on the shows.
39:02What did you think about the value for Erickson on that one?
39:06Yeah. I mean, at that point of the draft, I think it's, it's fine and he's probably going to have some sort
39:12of role and we know that multiple running backs usually have fantasy viability in Sean Payton's offenses.
39:17So I'm okay with it. I thought he was disappointing last year after he took over for Dobbins as the lead guy.
39:23And that's probably going to discount him from ever being considered the lead guy again in this offense.
39:28But I think he's going to have a non insignificant role in the Denver offense.
39:33Would you rather Harvey in the 10th or Jonah Coleman in the 11th, which is where he went to Bogman?
39:38Yeah, both. Both fair priced. Yeah. So nice way of saying it.
39:42No, honestly, I mean, I, I do have Harvey ranked ahead of Coleman and, and those draft slots kind of align with what my rankings look like.
39:49Yeah. Bogman, you go Jonah Coleman and then Casey Concepcion.
39:52So a couple of rookies here. Does that tend to happen for you?
39:56Like this point in the draft, you start looking at the guys that are rookies and taking those upside swings.
40:02Yeah. I mean, for my fifth wide receiver, I was between, uh, Concepcion and Higgins.
40:06Right. I think, uh, both offer upside, maybe Concepcion a little more because he looking at a potential number one target role.
40:12So that's why I went with Concepcion and then, uh, Jonah Coleman, just to add to the stack of RB twos, right?
40:19Like I'm good with CMC as my RB one, but now Rico, Aaron Jones, Jonah Coleman, I just need one of these guys to work out.
40:26So that's kind of the plan there. Grim makes another great pick.
40:29I think Isaiah likely in round 12. I like that quite a bit.
40:33He and Suggs are fighting for my favorite draft, uh, so far in this one.
40:37Well, we saw Suggs took Ricky Parasol, right? I did see that.
40:41Yes. Which, you know, I guess if you can convince yourself an upside case of him being on the field, there's, we
40:47don't know where he's going to be like done for the season yet.
40:51It just feels negative right now, but yes, we don't know anything.
40:54It feels like he's gone, uh, Eric, can you take Keaton Mitchell?
40:58Obviously just like a beautiful fit with Mike McDaniel and the speed that he wants to have there behind O'Meara and Hampton.
41:04And then Fitz, I was, I was eyeing Jacoby Myers just says, Hey, we don't know what's going to happen with this receiving room.
41:11So I'll take the cheapest guy. You take him a few picks before he can get to me.
41:16Has that been your approach fits? Like just take the guy of the Jags who's going latest or do you particularly like Jacoby Myers?
41:23I especially like Parker Washington and he's the guy I come away with most and I'm kind of not at all interested in Brian Thomas jr.
41:30I really haven't gotten Myers in too many other best balls, mocks, regular drafts, but I just thought he was a value at this point.
41:37I didn't really need another tight end. Obviously having a Brock Bowers, Mark Andrews is just my favorite player on the board.
41:44I think the last pick of the 12th round is too late for him.
41:48Given that there's uncertainty a with the other tight ends in that room in Baltimore, be with the receivers behind Zay flowers.
41:54It's a new offense and offense that has historically liked to use tight ends under Ben Johnson.
41:59And that connection with LeBar is as strong as it's ever been.
42:02So I think Andrews another year removed from the injury he was going into last year with I like Andrews just as a pure value.
42:09And then I take Higgins as the upside, you know, especially if anything ever happens to Nico.
42:14I think Higgins could be really good in that offense.
42:17Any pairs of CJ Stroud, who's my QB to John Johnson, Khalil Shakir, Aaron Rogers, and then Jalen Coker, who I also
42:23considered instead of Higgins, go off the board here while Fitz makes his pick.

44:20I just, you know, I don't, I know injuries are going to find my team.
44:24I don't want to invite them on purpose during draft season, but he's obviously a good player and this is the middle of the 13th round.
44:31Yeah, I'm probably not buying the reports that he could be ready for week one.
44:36Again, that dubious proposition there because that would be, what, six months after the ACL tear.
44:40But he's going to be back at some point.
44:43And let's just have not totally 100% sold on the prospect profile for Jadarian Price translating into like instant NFL success.
44:49So I do think once Charbonnet comes back, has a couple of weeks to knock off the rust, he's going to have
44:55a meaningful role in the Seattle backfield. Eric said, you go Geno Smith.
44:59That's your QB three. It looks like just expecting a bounce back now that he's out of Vegas.
45:04Yeah, I think that he can have a much better season statistically.
45:07He's not coming off any type of major injury, which I think Geno Smith's kind of catching some of the shade thrown
45:14at guys like Aaron Rodgers, Kirk Cousins, older players playing on new teams when those guys are coming off significant Achilles injuries.
45:20I think Geno Smith can still sling it. So I think with the weapons they have in New York off the offensive line, I think it's underrated.
45:28Garrett Wilson, you have the two first round picks that they drafted between Omar Cooper, Kenyan Sadiq, A.D.
45:33Mitchell entering year three. I think the Jets office can be average.
45:36And I think Geno Smith is very, very underrated here in the 13th round.
45:40Again, he's going to be a guy that I may be starting at some point if I lose one of my quarterbacks and especially on bye week.
45:48So I like Geno Smith here. The value you're getting on him.
45:51Boggan, you've made two picks here. Romeo Dobbs and Isaiah Pacheco.
45:54Pacheco one just feels like a totally forgotten man.
45:57Like I haven't heard his name said on a single show, I think all summer, but obviously somebody that we've been excited about in the past.
46:04And then Dobbs, I think it makes a lot of sense as that wide receiver two in New England.
46:10Yeah. I mean, Dobbs is just too good a value at this point.
46:14And then I'm looking at running backs and it is barren.
46:17I was kind of wanting Alvin Kamara a little bit and he did go one pick in front of me.
46:22That's not a snipe. That's just a whatever. So Pacheco maybe with the goal line chance.
46:27And then if anything happens to Gibbs, I have his handcuffs.
46:30So not an exciting pick, but we are in the 14th round.
46:34Did any of you guys consider Dejan stripling? He went right in between where you guys are picking to Grimm just with the Pierce Hall news.
46:41Does that feel like a value in the 13th round, Erickson?
46:44Yeah, I think that's appropriate to where he should be going.
46:47I know that in conversations in the analyst Slack channel, we were talking about kind of adjusting our rankings and I don't
46:54think it's super outlandish to put stripling in a similar range of where Pierce Hall was going.
46:58If you do believe that this is really, Hey, this is a lost season for Ricky Pierce Hall.
47:04We'll see eventually as we get more information, but the fact that he went two rounds after Ricky Pierce.
47:09So I mean, right now, who would you rather have?
47:12Like, it's really hard to have confidence in drafting Pierce Hall in any round versus a guy like stripling.
47:17So I think getting him two rounds after Ricky Pierce Hall, that is a really good value.
47:22I think I think I would prefer Dobbs personally.
47:25I know Dobbs in one spot after, but I don't think it's like crazy or anything, especially going around Shahid Jennings, Denzel Boston.
47:31I mean, Boston is also Ricky to Boston was drafted after Deshaun stripling.
47:35So, I mean, I don't agree with the talent.
47:38I think that Boston is the superior talented player, but in terms of situation opportunity.
47:42Yeah, it's not hard to like stripling in this fit with this 49ers offense.
47:46Can I say I'd much rather have Dobbs or Boston than stripling?
47:49Stribbling did not get a real standout target share, yardage share for Ole Miss last year.
47:54I just generally, if you don't have a big share of the targets and catches and receiving yardage for your college team,
48:00it doesn't bode well for your NFL success. I still think that was a giant reach by the 49ers.
48:06And just because of the Pierce Hall injury, I mean, I know Debro like jumped stripling ahead of Pierce Hall, unless I
48:12know that Pierce Hall is going to miss like at least half the season.
48:16I'm not doing that. I go with a couple of receivers here at the turn.
48:20Trey Harris, just like I said, I want to be invested in this Chargers offense as much as I can really late, take the upside swing there.
48:28And then Adonai Mitchell is somebody that Erickson, you just wrote about pretty recently on fantasypros.com with one of your breakout articles
48:34on a wide receiver, potential wide receiver ones for the first time here.
48:38Can you tell me why I made a good pick with A.D.
48:41Mitchell? Well, the year three breakout pool is becoming narrow and narrow by the day because it might not be Ricky Pierce
48:48Hall that kind of hits that breakout threshold. So let me just make my pick here before I dive into the A.D.
48:54Mitchell analysis so that I can avoid a another Dalton Kincaid.
48:57Because I don't even know. Although Dalton Kincaid does kind of make sense in my roster, given that, you know, the Tucker
49:03Craft is not like 100% lock to play in week one.
49:06I think that the Beats and the coaching staff has said that we're hopeful he plays in week one.
49:12So I think it does make a lot of sense if you do draft Tucker Craft that you do have a backup option.
49:18Of course, I draft the other really injury prone tight end Dalton Kincaid, who notoriously plays every year without a PCL or with a sprained PCL.
49:26But with Mitchell, I think that we all know he's really talented, right?
49:30If you look at any separation metric, he is at the top, top 10, whether you're looking at fantasy points data, next gen stats, A.D.
49:37Mitchell is someone that creates elite separation. You guys remember that Thursday night football game against the Patriots?
49:42First game he played with the Jets, he was cooking Christian Gonzalez, one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.
49:48The issue was Mitchell just couldn't catch the ball.
49:50He also had three drops in that game. So again, it's he's an incomplete player.
49:54But in an offense where there is a clear ish path to targets.
49:58Look, if he's got his head screwed on correctly, we know the talent is there and he should see volume, if anything,
50:04he might just run so many routes that he stumbles into some of this high end production because of if you look
50:11at some of these other wide receiver ones, Jerry Judy with James Winston, he was a wide receiver one.
50:16Michael Wilson last year, he was wide receiver one because they were just out on the field.
50:21They ran a ton of routes. I could see a scenario where that happens for Mitchell and given his talent profile, I
50:27do think that this is a he set up for a career year.
50:31Erickson, you're back on the clock while you're making that pick fits our guy.
50:35Terrence Ferguson went a couple of spots ahead of you.
50:38Did you consider pairing him with Fannin in your tight end room?
50:41I mean, I like that value, even if it wasn't a fit for your roster.
50:46Yeah, that was going to be my last my last pick.
50:49Yeah, I didn't even notice he got picked. I was searching around for him and couldn't find him.
50:54And I was so mesmerized by Bogman's Carson back pick.
50:57That was it. I just super flex. I know.
50:59I know. No, he's going to make starts. I think he probably makes at least six.
51:04Well, I think it's smart for Bogman to have a third quarterback given the age of Stafford and the injury history of Daniel.
51:10Yes, exactly. I was busy trying to fill in this RB2 spot too long.
51:14And I kind of wanted Shadour. And Shadour went two rounds or the round before Carson back.
51:19But I think Carson back for the second half of the season would be a nice fit.
51:24And I have Trey McBride. So a little stack if I do have to start Carson back.
51:29But I was going to take Nick Singleton with my last pick.
51:32Erickson beat me to it. Just taking a swing with the kind of, you know, a weaker RB approach here.
51:38Bogman, you take DeMont Claiborne, another running back that I was considering.
51:42But I didn't expect him to get back to me given that you had already mentioned him earlier.
51:47Erickson, what's the upside for Singleton this year? Do you think he can overtake Pollard or does he need an injury to be effective in year one?
51:54I think there's a chance that they give him an extended look.
51:58I think that Singleton, because he was not able to test at the combine, I think that really hurt his draft capital, right?
52:04I think that if he had tested off the charts, done a Mike Washington-esque type of combine, that maybe he would have
52:11gone much higher than the fifth round or sixth round, wherever he ended up going.
52:15So I do think that it is a weaker backfield.
52:18I think that Tony Pollard is, I think he's on his last legs.
52:22I know that he's had ripped off a couple thousand yard seasons, but the touches are starting to really accumulate for him.
52:28And the Titans, are they going to be contenders this year?
52:31I do think that they're kind of a sneaky team, especially when you look at the betting odds for them to go
52:37from worst to first in the division. But I don't think that Singleton is totally out for the count in a backfield
52:44where both guys are going to be free agents at the end of the season.
52:48So I think it does make sense for them to at least give Singleton an extensive look based on what his athleticism
52:54is when he's fully healthy and ready to go.
52:57Let's look at some draft analysis. One of my favorite things to do after doing any mock draft or real draft is
53:03to see what fantasy pros thinks is going to happen.
53:06Projected standings have me in fourth. I got a B plus as my grade.
53:10Bogman fifth, fifth, sixth. So fourth, fifth, and sixth for us.
53:13Then Erickson at eighth. Not a ton of huge gaps.
53:16There's not like a big outlier number one team or bottom team, really.
53:20So it seems to be sort of a somewhat even, fair mock draft here.
53:24Looking at some of the folks who like my draft and don't like it.
53:28Erickson would have been first if it wasn't for Kincaid there, I bet.
53:31That Kincaid pick. I bet that what if is probably Kincaid, huh?
53:35Huh, Erickson? I don't have any of you guys on my thumbs up or thumbs down from the expert opinions here.
53:41Debro gave me a thumbs down. Yeah, I'm looking.
53:43Dalton Dildon, friend of the show, gave a thumbs down.
53:46Hayden Winks with Yahoo gives a thumbs up. Not any of you guys on there.
53:50And then looking at steals and reaches, it does have CJ Stroud as a steal for me.
53:55Again, just given that it's super flex, of course.
53:58Jaden Higgins as a value pick for me. It does say Brock Bowers is a reach.
54:02That's one that I knew it said that on the rankings at the time.
54:06I just don't agree. I'm just thrilled to get a guy who I think could break fantasy and break the position in
54:13scoring this year with the last pick of the second round.
54:16So that's one that I think is going to come up a lot in my what if.
54:21You know, the pick analysis. Yeah, I should have taken Jonathan Taylor there according to this.
54:25Or Drake London would have been the preferred picks according to the system.
54:29But yeah, my strength is obviously Allen, Bowers, and then my wide receiver kind of trio, even though I don't have a great number one.
54:36Is how it looks like for me. What sort of analysis is it showing you, Fitz?
54:41So yeah, I'm right in the middle. And I found it interesting that the four of us, plus bunting, we're all separated by like less than 39 points.
54:49I mean, I'm one point behind Bogman. You couldn't slip a credit card in between me and Bogman with our scores.
54:55That's interesting that we're all just kind of solid in the middle here.
54:58Let's see. Joshua Kimmel gave me an A plus.
55:0199 out of 100. Atta boy, Josh. Thank you.
55:04And my buddy Jacob Gibbs of CBS liked my draft.
55:06Some guys who didn't. Rudy Gamble. Gonna have to talk to him about that.
55:10Jorge Edwards. I just saw him at the Fantasy Football Expo.
55:14What's up, Jorge? Yeah, I like my draft. And generally, I think it didn't like my selection of Kyler Murray and had
55:20several other quarterbacks ranked ahead of Kyler. Maybe that hurt me a little bit.
55:24But look, I already had Justin Jefferson. I get a little bit of a stack there.
55:28And I did want two running quarterbacks and got him with Dart and Kyler Murray.
55:33Erickson? So for me, Andrew Erickson gave me a 94 out of 100.
55:36So that's all that matters. That was actually the highest grade, though.
55:40Because, again, we have one auto pick. And it's not the true Andrew Erickson that's drafting this team.
55:45So someone actually liked my team more. Lou Brunson from Optimist Fantasy Football gave me a 98 out of 100.
55:51Pete Nova, FFA Soft, gave me a 97 out of 100.
55:54But a fellow Andrew, Andrew Leduck from That Sports Podcast Network gave me a 68 out of 100.
55:59I thought all Andrews were united when it comes to fantasy football.
56:02Apparently that's not true. So those are my expert opinions.
56:05When it comes to the pick analysis, I think that's interesting.
56:08And the Kincaid pick is obviously the one I'm thinking about a lot because it was auto picked.
56:14But it's actually the one I don't like the most in the pick analysis tool agrees is actually Brock Purdy.
56:19I feel like it was a reach. And looking back, just kind of things have shaken out.
56:24Right. The fact that you got C.J. Stroud in round nine and I got Brock Purdy in round two.
56:30Like I get C.J. Stroud has struggled the last couple of years.
56:33And I get Brock Purdy is in a very, very quarterback friendly system.
56:37But that just seems way too a big a gap.
56:40When you look at just like raw projections, I bet there's nowhere near it's going to be that far away.
56:45So Brock Purdy, I definitely pushed probably as a.
56:48I probably reached there trying to draft a quarterback and in super flex trying to address that position.
56:53It feel probably different if I got Trevor Lawrence, but he went a couple of picks ahead of me.
56:58So I think I reached there on Purdy and it's even telling me in the pick analysis tool is if I had gone instead C.D.
57:06Lamb, I could have drafted C.J. Stroud in the seventh round and I would have gotten 40 more points instead of drafting Jordan Tyson.
57:12So and I agree with that. So I think I reached on Purdy there.
57:16I think I was just going to should have just gone with the best skill position players available similar to.
57:22I believe that's what fits. Yeah, that's what fits did.
57:25And then he went to quarterbacks in rounds three and four.
57:28I think that I probably would have liked my team a lot more, even if I had gone with, you know, C.D.
57:34Lamb and then Bo Nix versus Brock Purdy and then Rashi Rice.
57:38So that's one thing that I will look at.
57:40And that's why doing this draft analyzer after your draft is so important to learn from your mistakes and try to remember,
57:47OK, if you feel like you're forcing a quarterback and super flex, you probably are.
57:51And don't do that. Plus, with the Purdy thing, you've got this electromagnetic field around the substation just hunting down your pass catchers.
57:58The guys are already dropping like flies. You look up, there's already three guys.
58:02You know, Ricky Pearsall, Jordan James already has a fractured rib.
58:05Need your guardian aluminum helmet. It's brutal. Yeah. That pick analysis tool is really one of the fun ones.
58:10Like I mentioned, for me, it was showing like that I shouldn't have taken Bowers.
58:14It's also saying maybe I shouldn't have taken A.J.
58:17Brown. I should have gone Jonathan Taylor instead, which I did consider.
58:20And it's interesting to see how the system is saying how it would have improved my projected standings and power rankings.
58:26And given that I was able to get Ladd and Tedrow McMillan on the way back, I kind of do wish I
58:33had taken Jonathan Taylor and had sort of that anchor RB instead of more of a closer to zero RB approach for me.
58:39Bogman, what's the analysis showing for you? Yeah, I mean, I would have been 89 points higher.
58:44So first place by a lot if I had taken Sam Darnold in the 10th instead of another RB.
58:50And I was just fighting for those RBs, though.
58:52So didn't like what I had. So I was fighting there.
58:55But that that's the biggest difference for me. That would have put me in first place by a lot.
59:01I got the stack of Jane Daniels and Terry McLaurin.
59:04We like that. I got Pacheco as a sleeper, Coleman as a sleeper as well.
59:08But I did reach on Coleman about three rounds earlier.
59:11But again, I'm just looking to get some of those running backs.
59:1492 was the highest grade I got from my guy Matt Donnelly from Dynasty Vipers.
59:18I did a couple of shows with them a couple of years ago.
59:22Tom Stracking gave me a 91. I was up there.
59:25But D bro gave me a 67, gave me a D plus.
59:28See me after class is what it says on this here.
59:32So didn't like me, neither did Brad Beetz and Josh Kimmel, Nick Botterford or Ryan Weiss.
59:36So not a lot of love there. Surprised I got fifth in this.
59:40I think the build is OK for what I did when getting sniped so much.
59:44But I really didn't enjoy doing this draft. I was it was a knot in my stomach the whole time.
59:50I kept getting sniped and I'm glad it's over.
59:52I did not like this team. Looking at the draft board here, I want to kind of wrap up with us again,
59:59highlighting a team other than our own that we really liked.
60:02I'm just like very torn between Suggs and Grimm picking 108 and 111 in this draft.
60:06I thought I liked Suggs' start a bit better than Grimm's, but I like Grimm's back half of the draft a bit better than Suggs.
60:14But really for both of them, I like their rosters all the way through.
60:18Just to recap for Grimm, Herbert, Gentie, Bo Nix, Chris Alave, Luther Burden, Javante Williams, Quinshon Judkins, Michael Wilson, Jonathan Brooks.
60:24You know, later on he took Isaiah Likely and Greg Dulcich as a tight end pair, taking those guys in rounds 12 and 14.
60:30He takes a swing on Sribbling. I really liked that.
60:33And then Suggs, you know, Caleb, Amin Ross, Saquad, Derek Henry, Colson, Loveland, Kyron Williams.
60:38I am head over heels in love with those first six picks.
60:41I think that's a fantastic start. You know, Alec Pierce, Brian Thomas Jr., maybe a little bit more question marks there around seven and eight.
60:48I didn't love Daniel Jones as much as his QB2.
60:51It was really my only complaint. But then Blake Corum, you know, upside swing on Ricky Pearsall, upside swing on guys like Dylan Sampson, Denzel Boston.
60:58I like both of those rosters quite a bit.
61:01Bogman, who stands out to you as your favorite roster other than your own?
61:05Pepper and Bunting are the two that probably because I was drafting by them.
61:09But I really like Pepper's stack here. Shuck and Lawrence with Gibbs, Josh Jacobs, Tootin, Kamara and Emmitt Johnson on the bench.
61:15Wide receivers are Nico Pickens, Parker Washington, Xavier Worthy and Caleb Douglas.
61:19Ended up with Kittle and Chig as the tight ends.
61:22I thought this was a really nice build for Pepper and Bunting going, waiting on those QBs and going Love and Willis,
61:28but getting A-Chan, Walker, Puka, JSN, DK Metcalf. And the bench is strong too, obviously upset me with the Jadarian Price pick.
61:34Also really good RBs on the bench with Mononguy, Marks and Algier.
61:38Wandale and Rashid Shahid and Juwan Jennings as the backup wide receivers.
61:41I think Bunting's draft is probably my favorite. Fitz, do you have a favorite that stands out to you?
61:46Bunting is way up there for sure. There are a lot of other ones I liked.
61:51Like Awesome Dev, getting that James Cook-Chase Brown combo along with Jalen Hurts.
61:55I mean, Hurts might have been a little early in the first round.
61:58Then just when I was thinking he didn't have enough at wide receiver.
62:02Started well with Ibuka and Christian Watson. Then gets Stephon Diggs.
62:05I'm thinking he doesn't have enough. Kind of pulls out Josh Downs and Jalen Coker relate.
62:10Two guys I really liked. He got the last of the top tight ends and Sam Laporta.
62:15Florida. Then he sneaks out Jalen Warren late in the eighth.
62:18When I was real close to taking Warren in front of him when I took Harold Fannin.
62:23So he gets Warren and then Chuba Hubbard to sort of nail shut that back door at running back.
62:28And I like some of the wide receivers he got late too.
62:32Like with Shakir and McMillan to give him some kind of needed depth.
62:35Behind a really good starting three of CeeDee Lamb, Malik Nabors and Devontae Adams.
62:39And I'm glad you mentioned him. He did win this draft based on the Fannish Bros analysis.
62:44He did finish kind of with the highest projected standing.
62:47He had the best score of anybody here. And also it feels like, you know, between myself and Bogman, we kept praising
62:53all the guys in the back half of the draft.
62:56Not as much praise for the guys in the first half of the draft.
63:00So I'm glad that you highlighted Bretzky there. Fitz Erickson, who stands out to you?
63:04Yeah, so I'm not even doing this one like from the hip.
63:08I'm actually plugging in my rankings into the draft analyzer.
63:11And it will tell me who I like the most besides my draft.
63:14And according to the tool, I like Pepper Maniac the most.
63:18And when I actually look at his roster, when I actually look at the roster, I'm like, I really do like this team a lot.
63:25I like the build. So going here are being the fact that they got Jameer Gibbs at 10th.
63:30That's crazy. Again, I would have taken him if I realized he was still on the board at seven.
63:35But of course, I'm a dummy and didn't take him.
63:38I mean, if he's going to go this late or any of these top three guys between B.
63:43John Chase behind these quarterbacks, you've got to scoop them up.
63:46Like, I think that it's you got to I think it's Josh Allen, Drake May and then Lamar.
63:52And then I think after those guys, I'm willing to take a shot on the running backs and chase or even Puka, to be honest, and full PPR.
63:59So just getting him 10 is insane. Trevor Lawrence, I love as an MVP, Dark Horse.
64:04And then his three receivers are Collins, Pickens and Parker Washington.
64:07Jacobs, Bayshel Tootin, RB1, RB2. He has Tyler Shuck as his super flex quarterback.
64:11And then he doubled down with Mendoza, Cam Ward, a couple of dark shots at quarterback.
64:16And then he got Kittle in round 11 as a starting tight end with Chica Conquo in round 13.
64:21So I think he did an excellent job with his team.
64:24And yeah, and I could not agree more with what the tool is saying here.
64:29Just when I input in my rankings, I'm curious, guys, if you do that with yours with Boggs and Fitzy, if you
64:35guys plug in, if it would match what you said to see if it would actually match up with what your eyes were kind of telling you.
64:43So I do have a question, though, for Worm on your team.
64:46Yeah, because I'm curious, because we both went zero RB to an extent.
64:50You only drafted four running backs. Do you like that you did that?
64:53Or do you think, hey, I wish I because how many you have so many wide receivers?
64:58I'm just feeling like when are some of your late round receivers ever going to crack your team with all because you have so many studs already.
65:06Yeah, there's there's two thoughts I would say to that.
65:09Number one is a lot of the running backs that I had planned to take just went before I could get to them.
65:15And so I had planned to take more. It was sort of just like, hey, I don't want to sacrifice a guy
65:22that I think is clearly better just on my board, even if it's at a position I already have names at.
65:28And two is and this sometimes hurts me in the scoring.
65:31You know, if you look at the mock draft after is I always approach these mock drafts as this is how I
65:37would draft if it was a real league that we were playing out.
65:41And I think this is a roster I can play out very well, be active on the waiver wire for running backs who step into new opportunities.
65:49You know, I have all these wide receiver shots in the first couple of weeks.
65:53I'm going to know if some of these are panning out or not, like Trey Harris, A.D.
65:58Mitchell. And I could be willing to, if I am still loaded there, trade them or, hey, roster churn back end of the of the roster.
66:05I don't need to hang on to these guys more than a couple of weeks.
66:09So it's a lot of like swings just wanting to take the best player, trusting myself to manage this team throughout the
66:16season, as opposed to like if I had to go, you know, into a season.
66:20If this was like best ball and I knew I couldn't really do much managing, I would have approached it a little bit differently.
66:27But but really the main excuse that I would have is just that people kept taking the running backs I wanted before
66:33they got back to me, which which makes me wish that I had taken Jonathan Taylor early to kind of slide down
66:39these other running backs down the board. Like if I was to change what I did at the two, three turn, it
66:46wouldn't be like getting rid of Bowers and taking London, like which was what the computer recommended.
66:51It would be probably getting rid of A.J. Brown and taking Jonathan Taylor and then trusting the depth at receiver, which, again,
66:57I'm really happy with the guys that got back to me later.
67:00So I would have approached it differently in that way with hindsight.
67:04But, yeah, it was just sort of the way the board fell.
67:07And then also imagining playing this out, who would I be taking here?
67:11Brett Ski was the number one on my list when I switched it down to mine.
67:15So I had let's see, I had Worm in here at three, even though we don't want to give him any credit.
67:22And then Pepper at four and Bunting at five.
67:24OK, yeah, yeah. So, yeah, Eddie, let's let's go around the horn.
67:28Just quick final thoughts. Anything you took away from the experience?
67:31Anything you learned about what your approach would be in any of your own redraft?
67:35Super Flex Leagues, then we'll wrap things up. So just quickly here, Bogman, any final takeaways?
67:40Yeah, not reaching on tight end ever again in a Super Flex.
67:43That's my overall take. It is funny. I can't help myself.
67:46Every time we do a mock and Bowers is there at the 2-3 turn, I take him because I just I think
67:53he could be like one of those league defining players this year with a healthy season.
67:57And every time I'm also I end up going, man, Mark Andrews is available in the 12th.
68:02Sam Laporte is available in the 10th. You took Andrews, too.
68:05Yeah, yeah, yeah. Every time I say likely the 12th.
68:08I'm like every time I'm like, man, the other's some good tight ends late.
68:12But I cannot help myself. I am that in love with Brock Bowers.
68:16Fitz, what's your final takeaway? It's always interesting to see how many quarterbacks go in the first round of a Super Flex draft.
68:22And I feel like you might see as few as five go this year.
68:26And instead, we got eight in this one, which I think is pretty close to the maximum of what you're ever going to see.
68:33And it's interesting what it did. I mean, it pushed down Jackson Smith and Jigbit at 2-0-1.
68:38Aminra St. Brown at 2-0-2. Boggs got Christian McCaffrey at 2-0-4.
68:41Gentie 2-0-5. So, you know, makes for some pretty good values on position players a little bit later on.
68:47And, you know, there's still some pretty good quarterbacks to be had beyond the second round of this Super Flex draft.
68:53A lot of positions feel pretty deep this year.
68:55You know, quarterback being one of them for sure.
68:58Erickson, final takeaway before we get out of here.
69:00Yeah, if you feel like you're reaching on a quarterback, you probably are.
69:04So that's something that I'm trying to, my big takeaway, because Brock Purdy, and I felt the run, right?
69:09Fitz just kind of laid it out. We had so many quarterbacks going round one.
69:14I'm on the clock. I didn't go quarterback in round one, and I'm like, I got to get somebody here.
69:19And it ended up being a value proposition that I'm not really thrilled about.
69:23Now, I'm not totally, I'm not screwed, because again, Brock Purdy's still good.
69:27Like, I'm happy I have him on my roster.
69:30But the fact that what I had to pay to get him versus all the skill position players based on where the
69:36other quarterbacks went, in hindsight, yeah, I definitely would have approached that differently.
69:40And just a matter of don't fall to these runs, right?
69:43You want to be having people chase what you're starting with your run at the skill position player.
69:48So that's a big takeaway. And that's why getting in these mocks, especially on Superflex, because it's kind of like the Wild
69:54Wild West, there really is no true ADP when it comes to Superflex.
69:58It's a matter of what does your league think of quarterbacks?
70:01Because some Superflex, some quarterbacks don't get drafted at all in the first round.
70:05People are like, we don't care. King's Classic, right?
70:08Fitz, how undervalued are all quarterbacks in that format?
70:10Again, it's a one quarterback league, but it's just it's an experts industry led league.
70:15And every expert is always like punt quarterback, except Josh Allen.
70:18So that's something to take away from it as well.
70:21It is interesting, I think, to that point, Erickson, that I think usually when we do these mocks, there are several teams,
70:27maybe not several, but a few teams that don't take a quarterback with their first two picks.
70:32There were only two in this one. It was bunting and Fitz, and that was it.
70:36I feel like we usually see one or two more beyond that who are kind of toying around with the waiting at quarterback strategy.
70:43So they went earlier here, and we kind of had to adjust.
70:47So we'll go ahead and wrap things up there.
