0:00All right, you're ready for your first swing of fantasy football running back rankings for the 2026 season. Hayden, this is probably the position that was
0:08least affected during the NFL draft.
0:11Historically low numbers that were drafted for these incoming rookies.
0:14Typically, that's the talk of the town.
0:16And there are a couple, maybe three or four that we'll talk about in this show.
0:19But just overall, your thoughts on this position as we head into 2026.
0:24>> Not a whole lot of change from last year. And last year, running backs absolutely cooked wide receivers. And I expect that trend to continue. If you
0:31guys were paying attention to the draft, a lot more tight ends went early.
0:35And that means I think that we're going to see more running the football, more heavy personnel. Wide receivers don't matter that much. And then fantasy
0:41football is going to be won on the backs of these running backs once again. This has been a trend for the last couple
0:46seasons. And I think I'm ready to double down on it.
0:49>> The real football's back, baby. And we'll talk about this in the wide receiver ranking show that we'll post here on the channel tomorrow. That
0:56typically, at least in the last five, six, seven years, we could rely on like teams, you know, third wide receiver to
1:01be fantasy relevant, at least the best ones. You really can't anymore. You have to draft the top two wide receivers on
1:07most teams out there. And if that's the case, then more and more running back production is going to creep in and
1:13steal that pie. And we freaking love to see it. Again, this is rankings week.
1:19This is running backs. We already did dynasty fantasy rookies for your drafts yesterday on the channel. And then later on, quarterbacks and tight ends. So, hit
1:28subscribe. We've got plenty of fantasy football content for you this entire summer. All right. The top two names, Jahmyr Gibbs and Bijan Robinson.
1:38Actually, in Underdog, Hayden, Bijan is going one spot before Jahmyr Gibbs at this point. Why do you have it this way? It's a true toss-up to
1:48me. I'll lean with Gibbs just because I trust the Lions infrastructure more so than whatever the Falcons are going on.
1:54Jahmyr Gibbs has averaged 25 half PPR points in the eight games David Montgomery has missed or played under 20% of snaps in. And David Montgomery is
2:03no longer a Detroit Lion. The Lions retooled their offensive line. They brought in kind of like a road-paving a road-paving center in Cade
2:11Mays, and then also a first-round right tackle in Blake Miller, who's definitely a decent run-blocker himself. So, he's going to set career highs in touches.
2:19And last year, even while splitting time, he was the fourth overall player.
2:22Yeah, this will be the 101 and the 102 in whatever order in your drafts. For Gibbs, Drew Petzing is taking over as
2:28the play-caller. When Dan Campbell stole that away last year, Gibbs jumped seven targets per game while also maintaining his 14 carries. And that was even with,
2:36you know, David Montgomery on the roster. Maybe that's why he wanted out of town. And with Bijan, you know, it's Kevin Stefanski. We've seen Nick Chubb
2:43have historic seasons under Kevin Stefanski. And Bijan Robinson even has more pass-game ability than that. We know he's second in yards after contact
2:51per carry last year. And first in missed tackles forced per carry. And his backup this year, cuz that's where the biggest
2:57changes are, the running back twos across these rosters, Brian Robinson.
3:00Yes, Brian Robinson out there is the running back two in Atlanta. All right.
3:05Let's go to your running back three.
3:07That is Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts. He was the RB3 and the third overall player in fantasy points over replacement per game last
3:14year. The Colts dominated early on, kind of uh they were pretty much eliminated after Daniel Jones' injury. Daniel Jones should be able to start this season
3:23either if it's not week one, it'll probably be like week five or so. And they're just going to ride Jonathan Taylor. I just trust the the
3:29infrastructure. He's in the prime of his career. He's been absolutely dominant.
3:33And if there is a chance that Daniel Jones is not passing the ball quite as effectively, that just might mean more
3:38carries for Jonathan Taylor anyways.
3:40There's a lot to love here. I mean, he was easily the running back one through 13 healthy weeks of Daniel Jones. I
3:45mean, by a point and a half ahead of Christian McCaffrey last year. However, there might be some, and this is the
3:51first R word of the year, regression, uh coming in the the direction of the Indianapolis Colts. I mean, they scored a touchdown on 94% of their goal-to-go
4:00situations last year, according to Warren Sharp. I mean, that is an outlandish outlier number. And that might just go down because of, you know,
4:07the loss of Michael Pittman or Daniel Jones coming back from injury or just what naturally happens in the game of football. And that would hurt probably
4:14Jonathan Taylor the most of anyone.
4:16Yeah, they are losing a right tackle in Braden Smith. And then but they also at the same time they lost Michael Pittman
4:22and did not really replace him, too. So, maybe there's a chance he catches a couple more passes to kind of fight back
4:26from that R word that you just mentioned. Our guy our best call of last year, Christian McCaffrey, stands in here as your
4:33running back four. Why not higher? Why not the running back one this year, Hayden? Because what we got last year is
4:38it wasn't even explosive or really efficient carries. It was just a bludgeoning runs last year.
4:44Injured wide receivers, injured quarterback, injured offensive line. He was the only healthy person on the field for the 49ers all season long. Yeah,
4:51that it could just change at any moment here. So, the only reason why I have him a little bit lower is just the age
4:57concerns. And we did see the efficiency fall off. And typically like once the efficiency falls off, it doesn't really rebound. The offensive line doesn't look
5:04any different. I think that explains a lot of it. So, yeah, I'm not like fading Christian McCaffrey. This is right in
5:09line with ADP. He can easily finish as the first overall player in fantasy. I just do think that the risk from just
5:16like a player kind of falling off standpoint is higher than the first three backs we talked about. You mentioned that these are the four first
5:22four running backs drafted according to ADP. They're your first four running backs ranked. And this is where you diverge just a little bit because he's
5:31being drafted as running back seven. But your running back five is Devon Achane of the Miami Dolphins. And I love this.
5:40I mean, he is a superstar. And he isn't called that often enough. He led all running backs with 90 plus carries last
5:47year in terms of yards per carry and yards after contact per carry. So, he's often viewed as just this speed back and
5:54he definitely has juice and you know, Mike McDaniel accentuated that effectively. But, Hayden as we always outline in stats versus film is that
6:02there's a lot of between the tackle stuff that he doesn't get enough credit for and just bouncing off defenders and creating yards on his own. He's a
6:08complete back in the NFL. Yeah, I'm looking at the the roster and that's the big hang up for a lot of people and I
6:14totally get it like Malik Willis like that could be not not not great. But, the Dolphins last year weren't great on
6:20offense and he completely balled out.
6:21They don't have any wide receivers to throw the ball to. So, I'm expecting the receiving production to maybe not be quite as good, but in roughly the same
6:28ballpark. The offensive line I don't have any problems with. Their left tackle is good and returning. Their left guard goes in their second year and he
6:34was not good as a rookie last year which should get better. Aaron Brewer's maybe the best center in the league and then
6:39Kaden Proctor was the 12th overall play pick. He'll either play right guard or right tackle and he's as big as a house.
6:45So, I think that they're going to establish the run here and they're going to throw the ball to Devon Achane. They
6:50can't really rely on Jaylen Wright or Raheem Mostert. Those guys are just like not very good. So, he's in the prime of
6:54his career and he's been a total stud whenever given the opportunities and we've seen him play well with Tua or without Tua and I think that Malik
7:01Willis is probably not nearly as big of a downgrade as some people are mentioning.
7:05>> I think one concern is that Mike McDaniel has been, you know, the running game guru wherever he has been.
7:12Um, and now it's down to Bobby Slowik. But, Bobby Slowik is also on the staff with Mike McDaniel last year. So, hopefully
7:19he has, you know, been able to retain and comes from the same coaching tree some of that information and can utilize, albeit maybe less of the order
7:27of operations eye candy stuff prior to the snap and maybe more some traditional running game here which I think Achane can still be very good at. But, but
7:34maybe he does get all the manufacturer stuff pre-snap just because there's no Jaylen Waddle. So, like we we are like chopping off multiple other options in
7:41the receiving game.
7:42>> Love that. Okay, your running back six is James Cook of the Buffalo Bills. The big change for him last year was the
7:48inside the 10-yard line stuff. I mean, that is vital and if we even just expand it to the 20-yard line, he had the
7:53fourth most carries inside the 20-yard line across the league. He also had 14 carries inside the five scoring six touchdowns on them. And that's like
8:02again, the massive shift in what we got from like the Latavius Murray's of the world stealing from him a couple years
8:07ago. Yeah, James Cook right now in the Underdog Pick'em Lobby probably available in your state right now is at 10 and a half season rushing touchdowns
8:15which feels almost a little bit light.
8:16Obviously, there's some injury concerns when you touch the ball that often, but James Cook was the seventh overall player on a per game basis on fantasy
8:25points over replacement in half PPR.
8:27Obviously, I like him a little bit better in that format, but he's in the prime of his career. They they did make
8:32one offensive line change and I think that the entire offensive line coaching staff is now new as well. But for the
8:38most part, there's a lot of kind of, you know, running it back with, you know, retaining the offensive coordinator to be the head coach. Josh Allen's
8:45obviously back. I think that DJ Moore might actually help James Cook in some ways just because the offense might be a
8:52little bit more stable than it was felt like last last season, but you know, it's back-to-back seasons where he's been like a top 12 to 24 overall player.
8:59Okay, rookies make the world go round and your running back seven is Jeremiah Love. And I am scrolling down and Jeremiah Love is being taken much later
9:08than this over and under dog.
9:10>> That's just launched Best Ball Mania, launched the Eliminator, launched weekly winners. Again, the summer of drafting is here. You should go and do it. The
9:17link's in the description down below. If you want to play five bucks, you get 50 bucks in your pocket. I mean,
9:22it's going to give me a second to count where Jeremiah Love is. It's probably what, closer to running back 13? You
9:27have him as running back seven. Why?
9:29Well, how could you not love the player first of all? So, he's going to be able to catch the ball. He's 212 pounds, so
9:34he's bigger than some of the comps that we were kind of throwing out there. Um and I just look at the the Cardinals,
9:39their defense is still going to be pretty bad. So, I think he's going to catch a plenty of passes. They drafted
9:44him third overall, they better get the most use out of him as possible. And last year, they did have like some level
9:50of a fantasy floor with Jacoby Brissett who I'm expecting to be the starter early on. So, the closest comps were Saquon, Zeke, CMC, Reggie Bush, Melvin
9:59Gordon, Arian Foster, Darren McFadden, Bijan, Todd Gurley, Adrian Peterson, Jonathan Taylor, like some of the best fantasy running backs over our lifetime.
10:06As rookies, that cohort of players averaged 14.3 half PPR points. That would have made him the RB12 last year.
10:13I'm kind of looking at this, I kind of like him better than some of those guys.
10:16And I think that the Cardinals situation, while it is bad, like it was like a bad decision that they made, I do
10:22think that there's enough going on on the offense here that he could at least provide a stable floor. And I think that
10:28the ceiling with him is 50-yard touchdowns every month. point of the summer or even if it extends beyond the summer and into, I don't know, week
10:35seven, are we going to talk about Jeremiah Love? And you don't have to include It was a bad decision by them.
10:40Well, this is me kind of playing the middle ground, right? Like I can say like the Cardinals made a bad decision,
10:44but I also love him in fantasy. Like how how could this thing go wrong? Yeah, middle ground winks, that's for sure.
10:48Yeah, I mean, Tyler Allgeier, as Adam Schefter talked about in his podcast, I think today, said that Allgeier signed in the hopes of never being a running
10:56back two again and having his own backfield.
10:59Uh and then he just get Bijan'd all over again here with with Jeremiah Love. And and speaking of Bijan, I mentioned this
11:04in the rookie ranking show for your Dynasty fantasy football leagues.
11:07Hopefully you tuned into that episode.
11:09If not, it's down in the channel below.
11:11Um that year he finished as running back 20 his rookie season in points per game.
11:16Five of his 16 games were in the top 10 in terms of scores.
11:20Uh so, we'll see. I mean, I think Jeremiah Love is the closest thing we've seen to Reggie Bush since Reggie Bush.
11:25And that's, you know, with 10 to 12 lb strapped to his back on top of it. So, I can't wait to watch him play play I will
11:30say, in terms of tiers, I do think Achane and James Cook are definitely a tier above everybody else. And this is a
11:38pretty flat tier. So like even though I ranked Love ahead of these next five or six backs, I think I'm not going to be
11:43drafting him every single time I'm in the second round. These guys are so grouped together. And if people are going to give me Jeremiyah Love in the
11:48third round, then like I'll play into that. Yeah, I was going to bring that up. I mean his ADP right now is 27
11:52overall. I do not think as we go along this summer that Jeremiyah Love is going to have a round three ADP attached to
12:00his name. So if you want to get him, draft him right now on Underdog. Moving on, Asim Achane, how fitting, is right
12:08next to Jeremiyah Love as your running back eight. His 1.6 yards before contact per attempt last year, 56th out of 60 qualifying running backs.
12:18I think I like Asim Achane more than you do.
12:23So I'm excited to hear you talk about him as a top-eight running back. Yeah, last year was a brutal season for him
12:28and he was the running back or not even the running back, the overall 28th player in fantasy points over replacement had a couple of big games
12:34there.
12:35And I'm just expecting everything to look so much better. You have a very serious coaching staff. Tyler Linderbaum is the highest paid center of all time
12:42by like a magnitude of like 2x. Yeah, and then they got a new guard in there as well.
12:48So yeah, I just think the offense is going to be a lot better. Kirk Cousins is functional and then Fernando Mendoza
12:53I think has a real ceiling to kind of chase here. And I think there's really nothing wrong with Asim Achane the
12:57player. It's just like the environment was so bad with him.
13:00I think like breaking ties between him and Love, I think that Love's likely to catch more passes and then I think
13:05likelier to have 50-yard touchdowns where Achane is a complete truck stick in every single way. So this will be a much
13:12better season for Asim Achane and he was an RB2 last year despite everything kind of crumbling around him. And his backup
13:18is a rookie in Mike Washington Jr. You know, it's not like a veteran that maybe can still steal some snaps here or
13:24there. No, it is Mike Washington Jr. as his backup running back. Yeah, I mean, just the environment that he was in, you
13:30cannot function. You cannot be successful. You can't be efficient. You can't be any of those things. Like I mentioned the yards before contact last
13:37year, he still had a ton of broken tackles. And often he was breaking tackle or two and still unable to get to
13:43the line of scrimmage. So, if he's just gifted the first level or even the second level more often, to me there
13:49were some real flashes of brilliance and then hopefully we see them more often here in his second season. Just to call
13:55this one out cuz I do like this a lot.
13:57Right now, seven and a half rushing touchdowns is the higher or lower for Ashton Jeanty. That that feels like a touchdown light to me. I'm just
14:05expecting the Raiders to like be watchable this year. Well, and if you're bringing up Pick'em Lobby mentions, I'll do the same. Ashton Jeanty right now is
14:11projected with more rushing yards than Christian McCaffrey and Devon Achane and Jeremiah Love. Three names that we have already discussed.
14:20So, yeah, go and play. I mean, we're available on nearly every single state now. So, go play.
14:26All right.
14:27Saquon Barkley, the 2024 running back one, now enters 2026 as your running back nine.
14:37To me, I think there's an outside shot that he might sneak back into the top three or top four runners by the end of the
14:44season here with Saquon.
14:45Yeah, it's definitely possible. They need the offensive line to be legitimately healthy. It's the same five starters. They added a swing tackle in
14:52the third round who's just a complete giant in Mark Hell Bell. But it's the same starting five. They just missed so
14:56much time and even when they were out there it was like very clear that like Landon Dickerson, for example, was not
15:01the same player. Hopefully that kind of regresses. We're expecting A.J. Brown to leave, enter Mekhi Leven. I don't think that really changes things for
15:09for Saquon Barkley. It's just we need the explosive plays again cuz like that that disappeared this last year because the offensive line was bad. So, it just
15:16kind of ties back to the offensive line getting healthy. So, I'm I'm middle grounding what he was two years ago where he was the league winner versus
15:24last year he was the 24th overall player. I'm smack dab right in the middle between that. I feel good about it. The big thing as you mentioned was
15:30just the blocking. It was putrid. I mean his yards before contact dropped from 3.8 when he was the running back one in
15:38the league winner down to 2.5 last year.
15:41But his yards after contact per carry was nearly the same. Mhm. 2 yards to 1.6. So, I don't think he has lost like
15:49two steps as his you know, underlying metrics would indicate. Uh and I still think he's a focal point and an important piece of
15:56this offense. It might be even more once AJ Brown is traded. You convinced me.
16:00I'll I'll move him up again ahead of Love and Gainty. Whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm not trying to make any moves here one
16:06and year two guys. I I I like it. It was It was convincing.
16:09>> Look at that on the fly. First rankings of the year. We're already moving stuff around. All right. To close up this one
16:16Amarin Hampton running back 10.
16:19Another second year runner. I think you can nitpick some of the parts of Amarin Hampton's game but in this system it
16:25kind of doesn't matter. I mean if everyone stays healthy, okay? Big if here with the Chargers. We have two tackles. You now have a huge investment
16:34in center. Hopefully they can figure out this guard stuff and they're moving I think a center to guard or a tackle to
16:39guard here with the LA Chargers. And Amarin Hampton has juice. He is a big body that in a straight line has intense
16:46speed and Mike McDaniel I think is going to be able to weaponize that. I think that's a good call. His fit as like an
16:52outside zone stretch runner which is how they got all those Raheem Mostert and Devon Achane house calls. He's in 96% in broad jump.
17:01So, I think that he's an excellent scheme fit here. He can catch the ball.
17:04He and Mitchell is going to be like a change of pace RB2 but I'm not expecting a whole lot more than that. Hampton's
17:09going to be the goal line back. There's no question about that. I think that he's going to be a trusted player in
17:14year two compared as a rookie where I do think that we even going back to his pre-draft profile, we loved like the
17:19upside there. There's some things that he kind of had a to work through and I think that this is the right coaching
17:23staff going into year two to be banking on the breakout. And like you said, Diito is a real center. They picked him
17:29up in free agency. They drafted a very smart center out of Florida in Jake Slaughter. They're going to be moving him to one of the guard spot. They're
17:35They're still missing one quality guard here, but the tackles, as long as they're not limping in as they currently are right now into the season here, um I
17:42think it's going to be a a decent offensive line, which last year you obviously couldn't say that. For sure.
17:48Um I will say, among all the running backs that we've talked about here, his probably has the most talent in it. Uh
17:56again, you bring in Ke'Shawn Mitchell, who we'll talk about later on this video. Then also, Camani Vidal had moments last year, you know? And he is
18:02still on this team. So, uh Raheem Mostert should qualify for what, 15-ish touches per game if not touch that 16 and 17 mark if he like clearly is the
18:13best back. But, Hayden, I also think there's like a very narrow outside shot that maybe he doesn't meet the exact threshold that we want of like true
18:20running back one status when it comes to opportunities each week. If Mike McDaniel loves him some Ke'Shawn Mitchell and Camani Vidal and those
18:27types. And I wouldn't be surprised. I think he's one of these guys where you can tell me he finishes the RB3. Like, I think like there's that
18:35range of outcomes if the Chargers are a Super Bowl contending team. McDaniel's is a stud and then I do think Hampton
18:40has like a special running backs in his range of outcomes, so I do want to play into that. Speaking of special, let's go
18:44now to tier two.
18:46That is Kenneth Walker III, now a Kansas City Chief.
18:49Uh never wrong, just early here with Kenneth Walker III because we all know, and we all saw with our eyeballs, how
18:55much of a difference-maker he could have been last year during the fantasy football season if Seattle allowed him to be. They didn't, and then he won them
19:02the playoffs and the Super Bowl. Yep. I know.
19:05So, what is Kenneth Walker III going to look like and inject differently into this Kansas City Chiefs offense? Well, explosives is why they signed him and
19:14the offensive line is going to be an upgrade from what he was dealing with throughout his career on the Seahawks.
19:19Their guard-center-guard combo, and then I'll throw in they have a chance to have a really strong left tackle is is really
19:25exceptional. I'm expecting the Chiefs to kind of change their offense where historically they're pass-heavy and they're really pass-heavy in the red
19:33area. I'm expecting them to get under center more as Patrick Mahomes come comes off of his torn ACL and they're going to have like more duo runs, under
19:40center runs. Hunt for explosives underneath and hopefully that can kind of square away some of the downfield passing stuff that they've really
19:46regressed in over the last couple seasons. Kenneth Walker with open space is just a walking explosive and I do think that this I mean, Trey Smith and
19:56Creed Humphreys is none of my business.
19:59So, I'm just expecting that the Chiefs to like kind of change their offense and that's going to play into Kenneth Walker's strengths. I mean, he was their
20:05only addition on offense this entire off season. They didn't bring in other wide receivers, other tight ends. Sure, they made a
20:13fifth-rounder and a running back and wide receiver, but that's it. Like, every single asset was spent on defense. Two first-round picks,
20:22a second-round pick in Armon Watts, a Mason Thomas, a fourth-round pick at another nickel/corner spot.
20:27They want Kenneth Walker the third to transform their offense and like you said, they've had an efficient running system the last
20:34couple years. Like we talked about Kareem Hunt and, you know, how he got them into, you know, some second and manageable, third and short situations
20:41and obviously once you get the goal line, there you have him to convert that spot, but what they have been craving,
20:47craving is 15-plus yard runs, 20-plus yard runs and Kenneth Walker specializes in those types of carries.
20:53>> My last note is he would be subbed out for Charbonnet, who's a big back.
20:57Brechard Smith is not a big back, he's a converted wide receiver and then Emmit Johnson, the fifth-round rookie they're talking about, he's a small back.
21:04And we're talking about a fifth-round rookie, you're not going to take the Super Bowl MVP out for a fifth round rookie. So, there's a chance he's going
21:09to get all of the goal line carries, which we have not been able to say in a very long time. Hello. All right.
21:15Derrick Henry is your running back 12, still with the Baltimore Ravens.
21:19Uh if you look at some underlying metrics, you could argue that maybe we're getting a sense of a little cliff here. I mean, a career low 0.14 missed
21:27tackles per carry last year. However, then if you zoom out, he still was among like the top four runners uh in terms of
21:34yards per carry, yards after contact, rush yards over expected per attempt, and that was, you know, with a really rough offensive line. Like they just
21:43booted Daniel Faalele and said, "Hey, Harbaugh, you can have him in New York if you want to." And they didn't want
21:47him.
21:48And then well, he did. He signed him.
21:49And then uh brought in Vega. The only question is the the center spot because you go from Tyler Linderbaum down to like a
21:55seventh-round center. Yeah, I I think they'll figure out center eventually.
21:59They've already surrounded him with two quality guards. I think Vega's an exceptional player at their 14th overall their left tackle. They return both or
22:06their left guard. They return both of their tackles. Yeah, I mean, you mentioned it.
22:11He's He's got the highest um touchdown projection, rushing touchdowns at 12 and a half in the Underdog Pick'em Lobby right now. So, I agree. He's not
22:19the same exact player. Maybe he's, you know, there's a 10% decrease in his long speed. There's less wiggle. He's probably more prone to a hamstring pull
22:28this year.
22:29I've baked that in, man. I mean, last year he was top 10 in all these these these fantasy points over replacement
22:33numbers. I'm ranking him 19th overall here. Like, I'm trying to bake that in as much as I can, but at the end of the
22:39day, like, there's only a couple guys that can go for three rushing touchdowns and 200 rushing yards in a game, and
22:45that's him. On Underdog right now, he's being drafted as the running back 11.
22:48Again, he's your running back 12. And he finished last year, again, in a poor situation, I'll say it, as the running back seven overall.
22:55So, once again, Derrick Henry is is inevitable.
22:59Chase Brown is running back 13.
23:03This is a fascinating one because once again, zero competition brought in for him. And they're just running it back with Samaje Perine and Taj Brooks,
23:12and he was still the running back 12 in points per game last year with a rotation of quarterbacks and just like a
23:18bad environment. Uh that's exciting because if it's a good one, then they're going to score maybe even more points.
23:24And Chase Brown seems to have earned tons of money in the bank here with the Bengals coaching staff.
23:32Last year the Bengals were first in short yardage rushing success rate, which is shocking, but that's like years and years of drafting and developing
23:41uh offensive lineman. They were fifth in rushing EPA per carry. So, I'm expecting Burrow to be healthier this year than he
23:47was the previous season, and then I think this offense will just be a lot better after finishing They were 18th in
23:53EPA per play last year. I think if there's a chance that they can be, you know, top five-ish again, then all of a
23:58sudden Chase Brown in this bell cow role, which we should feel very confident in, that this could be ranking him far too low. So, I think in full
24:05PPR, uh I even like him more than this.
24:07I I have like almost no bad notes on Chase Brown um at all.
24:13I mean, we still got some more names here, and I feel amazing drafting all these guys already. Uh famous last words, but let's
24:21just run back this position again in 2026 like we did in 2025. And yeah, the Bengals were 12th in points scored per
24:27game last year at 24.4. Um they can be even better than that. They should be. They should be.
24:35Next is Josh Jacobs.
24:38Is there anything to say about Josh Jacobs other than he ranks as running back 14? I mean, yeah, nothing has changed at all. They tinkered with the
24:45offensive line a little bit here, but they lost Emanuel Wilson, uh and they retained Chris Brooks, and then I guess it's Marshawn Lloyd still behind
24:54him if he's could get on the field eventually.
24:57>> of weird, and it's on my radar. Like there aren't many backup veteran running backs floating around out there to be
25:02signed unless it's like Zamir White, unless he signed somewhere and my brain just forgot. But like Chris Brooks is more of a fullback,
25:10and he was being used as that for this past season for them. And so not even going out and signing anyone else. I'm
25:16I'm assuming someone else is on the way at this point.
25:18>> Yeah. It's like Najee Harris types, so yeah, I'm not I'm not moved at all with Josh Jacobs. Jacobs last year was the
25:2512th overall player on a per game basis.
25:27I've got him ranked 25th overall just cuz he's a a little bit on the older side, but I mean this Packers offense is automatic, and
25:34he's still a good player. Like I know he doesn't break as many big plays as some of you guys want. That dude, watch the
25:40games. That guy is a total pain in the ass to tackle, and I don't think that's going to change this season.
25:45Yeah, once they get down to, you know, inside the 5-yard line, he is on the field. They love to run the football and
25:50give him that carry to score the touchdown. That's for sure. Yeah, he's also only 28, so he's like not that old.
25:56No. Uh I am on our lads right now.
25:59Can you name me the {quote} fifth running back on their roster right now?
26:03Personal favorite. Dame Train.
26:06Damien Martinez. Maybe maybe we get a chance here. Maybe we get a chance.
26:09>> I would I wouldn't bet on it.
26:12Okay, let's go to Travis Etienne. He is your running back 15 and now a New Orleans Saint. For now, Alvin Kamara is
26:20still on the roster, but uh Alvin Kamara isn't in your rankings here at all. And Travis Etienne is your running back 15, so uh I think you're
26:29leaning in one direction.
26:31I would put it more likely than not that he's not on the team or retired. Um even if he is on the team, like I am I
26:40supposed to care? I mean, Alvin Kamara has like not played that much football, not that much good football. And even if
26:44he's going to play, it's going to be where he's he's playing some passing downs, and then Travis Etienne's obviously carrying everything else. That
26:51was the role that he had last year when he was the 13th overall player.
26:54Um The Saints offensive line is pretty damn good. I mean, they got two awesome first round tackles. Their center's been in the building. Their right guard's
27:02been in the building. They just signed a veteran left guard. Like, that's a real starting five. Uh Shaq should be better
27:07going into year two. We have full faith in uh Kellen Moore. And Travis Etienne's had one bad NFL season where he was
27:15playing through injuries. All the other seasons have been very good, especially in fantasy. So, I I would say this tier continues. Like, this is another great
27:23player that I think as a third round player, like you can sign me up. I mentioned the stat about scoring a
27:30touchdown on goal-to-go situations for Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts. The Saints are on the opposite end of that. According to
27:37Warren Sharp, they scored a touchdown on just 44% of their goal-to-go situations last year. That's easily the lowest in the NFL. Basically, outlier bad. And so,
27:46you can't really copy-paste any of their rushing stuff from last season and do what Travis Etienne's going to get here.
27:51Yeah, I'm looking at red zone touchdown rate, dead last. Rushing EP per carry, 31st. Explosive runs, 20 plus yards, 29th. Like, this There's a reason why
28:00they don't care about Alvin Kamara. And the whole thing is about Travis Etienne.
28:04Oh, yes. Oh, I need to get it together.
28:06Maybe in my team break, I will just I will just mention it to myself that it is now Travis Etienne.
28:13Travis Etienne.
28:16I'll get it at some point. By the way, if you made this far in the video and you stuck through my mispronunciation,
28:20sorry, Travis.
28:22Hit that subscribe button. Uh and let's give it a thumbs up, too. Uh 2,000 likes on this video would be incredible, and
28:27that's the goal we are aiming for. All right.
28:30Breece Hall is up next as your running back.
28:3316. Uh same backfield as last year. And the Jets were second to last in red zone touchdown success rate last season.
28:41Hopefully, they can at least be average in that. If that's the case, Breece should be a beneficiary. They'll have better quarterback play this year,
28:47that's for sure. The offensive line still pretty decent, not my favorite interior, but they do have two stud tackles at the very least. They're
28:55surrounded with more weapons with, you know, Adonai Mitchell, Omar Cooper, and then Kenyon Sadiq there, so I think in general they should at least be a
29:02somewhat functional offense. After last year, they were 31st in red zone touchdown rate. They were obviously uh dead last in point differential, dead
29:10last in explosive passes. Uh the defense was also bad, so I think in general the team should be a lot better. And there's
29:17really not a whole lot behind him. Like Breece Hall, Allen, and Isaiah Davis have had like moments to make big impacts, but like really we have not
29:23seen that come to fruition. Breece Hall, coming off of a big uh injury as well.
29:28So, Breece Hall, I mean they they could have traded him at last year's deadline.
29:31They opted not to. They got him on the franchise tag. They still think that he's going to be a long-term player for
29:35this team. So, like they have every incentive to make sure Breece Hall gets a bunch of touches this year. Yeah, it's
29:40a carrot dangling in front of his face.
29:42Uh I'm sure Breece Hall would have loved to sign Walker's contract this off season, but uh you know, the Jets prevented that from happening.
29:49Javonte Williams is your running back 17.
29:51Let's have this Cowboys running back conversation, because right now they don't have a running back two.
29:57He finishes the running back 13 in points per game last year. He got an extension, so why all the way down here
30:03at 17, other than the uh top 16 guys are pretty freaking good at their jobs?
30:07Yeah, those are just like sexier players, I guess. So, I'm looking at the pick'em lobby, he's seventh in rushing yards, um which is ahead of Josh Jacobs,
30:14Gen Team, McCaffrey, Etienne, Bucky, Jeremey Love, Kenneth Walker, Chase Brown, Travis Etienne, all the guys we just mentioned, he's got more projected
30:22rushing yards. And then he's for sure the goal line back, and like we we keep saying, because the draft class was so
30:28bad, they didn't add anybody. I mean, it's still Malik Davis and Jaden Blue, who can't play. Um and then it's like
30:35Izzy Abanikanda, Phil Mafah. I mean, like these are these are guys like this is like what your uh the worst uh
30:40dynasty team in your league looks like at at backfield.
30:44And the entire offensive line is back, really good. Pickens is back, Dak back, coaching staff back. I mean, like you have to tell me why this is going to
30:53break down. And I don't have a good answer for that. I I think that's all totally fair. His ADP right now is
30:5938. So, he's in the fourth round.
31:03>> It's way too low. Last year he was 20 20 the 21st overall player on a per game basis. Are you going to start running
31:07back, running back, running back, running back this year, Hayden? Yes. I mean, like this is this is all half PPR kind of brains, but I mean
31:15nothing changed. Nothing changed.
31:18Uh okay. Another one here in Kyren Williams. Even last year, right? He had Blake Corum stealing some stuff. Like Blake Corum had drives cuz they would
31:28rotate drives at times. And Blake Corum would score more touchdowns than he ever has before or another running back next to Kyren Williams ever has before. And
31:36despite all of that, Kyren Williams still finished as the running back eight in points per game. So, are we doing this again this year? Are we able to get
31:44Kyren Williams as an extreme value as anywhere from running back 17 to running back 19? I think that this is appropriately priced. I think there's
31:53just a chance that Blake Corum kind of eats into this maybe a little bit more.
31:56Like you mentioned, it was pretty much two drives and one drive, two drives and one drive. I think that's going to be
32:00the baseline here. And then there's a chance it becomes maybe a little bit more 50/50 where like that's just like not an option for the guys that we just
32:06went through here. And then the other thing is the Rams were running extremely pure as an offense last year. Um and I
32:13will say like they should run pure again, but there is, you know, some like risk here.
32:18Obviously, Matthew Stafford's an older guy. And then Demonte Adams and Puka, there's no depth behind them because they spent their 13th overall pick on a
32:25backup quarterback um and then their second round pick on the fifth freaking tight end. So, if something happens to one of these receivers, all of a sudden
32:32like this offense is going to feel a lot different. So, there's some fragility in this one, but still it's priced into
32:36this ADP. Yeah, if one of the wide receivers goes down, they might just run 13% at all times. Yeah, the thing that I
32:42always come back to with Kyren is in crunch time and in like really tight games, Sean McVay kind of gets rid of
32:48that rotation and he just leans on Kyren on those situations.
32:52Um so we'll see if that change like Blake Corum is a good football player.
32:55We're going to talk about Blake Corum at some point. Eyes and feet connected, all that stuff. Um but Kyren continues to
33:01just be a value every single year even if we were right that Blake Corum was going to steal more and ultimately like
33:06didn't matter when it came to fantasy points. Yeah, Rams were too good.
33:10Bucky Irving is your running back 19.
33:13Interesting conversation because his first year was just pure electricity.
33:19That was with Liam Cohen. He was forcing miss tackles. He was reeling off explosives. All that type of stuff. Look like one of the best runners in the
33:26league, point blank.
33:28Then this past year he gets injured. He obviously is going through it um cuz he just wants to play ball. But then when
33:35he returns, he did not get a single carry inside the 5-yard line in his 10 games. Sean Tucker, Rashaad White combined for nine of those. So Sean
33:44Tucker returns. Kenny Gainwell basically replaces Rashaad White. At the same time we have a new play caller here in Zach Robinson who also split work in his
33:52previous home with the Atlanta Falcons.
33:54So as much as we loved Bucky Irving's rookie season, the pathway to getting there I think is a bit murkier than
34:01typically given credit. Yeah, and then I just think that I get a little bit worried because he's a smaller player.
34:05He dealt with multiple injuries this last year. So it was a shoulder and then a foot injury. He had to have off season
34:10shoulder surgery as well here. So that's in the back of my mind. Kenny Gainwell was like a real contract. He's a very
34:16good player. He was the Steelers freaking MVP for crying out loud last year. So I think he threatens Bucky in the receiving games in ways that Rashaad
34:24White did and like you said, DeSean Tucker was like legitimately mixing in at the goal line. So this one feels a
34:29little bit more fragile than the guys that we're talking about. So I think that this is to me kind of where the
34:33tier it the tier break is because we're dealing with players coming off of injury.
34:38That said, when Bucky's going, he's like really going. And the Buccaneers do feel like a team that got a lot better this
34:44um off-season just because of some veterans on the front seven on defense last year. And they they were really bad defensive team last year. I just expect
34:52them to be a little bit more balanced this season. Right. Cam Akers got to be close out your top 20. Uh your couple
34:58had couple spots ahead of ADP on him.
35:01He's running back 22 on Underdog at this very moment. Uh really just seven healthy weeks last year. He scored as a
35:08top 21 running back in three of those seven weeks. What are you expecting here in his year two? Yeah, so he dodges
35:14Jeremiah Love here. Um and it's just going to be the same uh three running backs. They brought back Singletary. It's still Tyron uh
35:22Tracy at the RB2 spot. And just comes down to Cam Akers' return from a dislocated ankle uh because he was running away with like to me like
35:31offensive rookie of the year. He was going to be uh an RB1 to close the season. He was for the last month of the
35:37season. He caught passes. He was the goal-line back. He was looking good.
35:41All of that could be better because they just added Francis Mauigoa uh to play guard in the first round plus Jackson Carman going into the second
35:49season. Maybe the coaching staff is is a upgrade as well here. So, it just comes down to what's our risk appetite for a
35:56dislocated ankle. I like the recent examples like Tony Pollard who was available early on, was not as efficient as he was uh before the injury, but then
36:06has since rebounded. Maybe he starts the season a little bit slower here, but volume's king and Cam Akers has just been eating volume his entire life. And
36:15if that happens, this would be ranked too low. Chat, you're very lucky. Uh I didn't do the meme where of Cam Akers,
36:20the streamer?
36:21Cuz uh that's kind of what he's been as of like Yeah, I mean, what we heard from Jordan Ronan and company all
36:26off-season is that Harbaugh just wants to run the freaking football on offense.
36:30Uh and it sounded like they were in for Kenneth Walker, they were in for Travis Etienne.
36:35They were in for Jeremiah Love and they swung out on all three occasions and couldn't get any of them. And so that's
36:40the case then you saw this trio at running back and uh Kim Scott Abu uh should be ranked the highest of that
36:45group. All right, for as much as you hate Trivian Henderson as a player, it intrigues me that he is running back 21
36:52for you. Uh so why is he ranked ahead of Rhamondre Stevenson from your perspective when every week last season you kept telling me that Rhamondre
36:58Stevenson was the better football player. Uh well, he was scoring a lot more fantasy points. Uh so I I'll count that as a win for me. I'm changing my
37:06tune going into the second season cuz players get better throughout their uh early career. Um plus I like the offense like I feel very
37:14comfortable with the offense. Like that was something that I could not fully project going into this last season.
37:19Like now the entire offensive line is back, there's more depth on the offensive line, they've got players going back to their natural positions. I'm factoring
37:27in A.J. Brown being part of this team so this team should just be better and hopefully Tray Veon stops fumbling, he
37:33gets the vision cleaned up a little bit more. Um and now they have like a the very direct path on how Tray Veon
37:39Henderson is going to be utilized. I always will think he's going to be a Raheem Mostert styled player where his best asset is getting to the edge and
37:47taking it to the house from there and then everything else a little bit more murky and obviously Rhamondre is the exact opposite so I'd be surprised if he
37:53turns into the bell cow but he will be an explosive player on a good offense and I think that's like an RB 2-3
37:59player. There was a large portion of last season in the middle of the year where their best rushing was outside carries to Tray Veon Henderson because
38:08the blocking from the really tackle to tackle but mainly guard to guard was horrific. Just they couldn't move anyone off the line. They were allowing instant
38:16disruption, all this type of stuff. And it was what that Bears game I'm I'm trying to remember what game it was.
38:20Anyways, it was just swings and pitches and all that type of stuff over and over again.
38:24They knew this and this is why they tried to shift things around on the interior and moving Jared Wilson over to
38:31center and getting rid of the lightweight Garrett Bradbury. And then hopefully Elijah Vera-Tucker comes in and plays healthy and plays at his best.
38:38And that's like, you know, a moving company at left guard, center, and right guard there with Mike Onwenu as well.
38:47Yeah, offensive line should be at least decent this year as long as Will Campbell can take the next step up. So,
38:53feel good about it.
38:54D'Andre Swift is your running back, 22.
38:57If you told me prior to last season, Hayden, that Ben Johnson would roll into 2026 with no changes to his backfield, I
39:03would not have believed you. But, that's what happens when D'Andre Swift finishes as the running back 15 in points per game. And once again, everything kind of
39:11changed after their bye week. They figured out kind of the core principle blocking wins that they had. It was getting on the move with Swift. Remember
39:20like the Benedet stuff at left tackle where they pull him and block out defensive backs. So, uh what are your thoughts here with Swift now in his
39:29I don't know, fourth season with Ben Johnson as coach? Yeah, so I agree with you that I'm surprised that he's hanging on, but I think credit is
39:37due here. He's just gotten better. I think last year he kind of tightened up his game a little bit. There's always
39:42going to be the danciness with D'Andre Swift, but for a while there it was like, okay, we can't even get this guy
39:46on the football field. I think last year he tightened it up. Uh and then I would say Ben Johnson's like playing into his
39:51strengths. The The Bears were an awesome offense last year. I'm expecting the same thing that to to happen here. And then the offensive line has some warts,
40:00but they still have Darnell Wright.
40:01Jonah Jackson's back. Garrett Bradbury swaps in at center. They've still got Joe Thuney. And then left tackle, they're going to try a couple of
40:09different guys out there. So, it's not the perfect offensive line. D'Andre Swift's not the perfect player, but this is a lot lower than where he was ranking
40:17um in the back half of uh last season where he was pretty much like flirting with like RB1 numbers.
40:23Yeah. No one's a Swift person anymore.
40:26So, it's uh I used to never be. I'm I'm cool with taking the mantle like we did uh halfway through last season, you know? I mean,
40:32he's being drafted right now as running back 25 and here he is as your running back 22. I guess my only question is
40:37will they trust Kenneth Walker more than they did last year? Uh now he's a year two player in the system. Maybe the
40:43seventh-round label has worn off a little bit and he's just a running back in the room. Uh if so, maybe he'll steal
40:51a couple more touches. All right.
40:52>> Yes.
40:54Tyjae Spears is your running back 23, the second rookie on this list. We talked about him in the Dynasty Rookie Rankings for your Dynasty leagues out
41:02there. What do you want to add here with Tyjae Spears uh as the lead ball carrier for the Seattle Seahawks?
41:07And that's the part I want to keep stressing like whether you loved Tyjae Spears as a fringe round one guy or not,
41:14he it's his backfield, man. He's dealing with Emmanuel Wilson who signed for $550,000 guaranteed and then the RB3 and RB4 uh have zero guaranteed money on their
41:24contracts. Zach Charbonnet had his surgery on February 20th. If he returns 9 months after that, we're talking about week 12. And usually there's a ramp-up
41:32period there as well. And by week 12, if Tyjae Spears is not fully uh established himself as a the clear like bell cow for
41:40this team, then something's gone wrong here. So, we're talking about an awesome defense uh team that should be in games, a very balanced offense. Uh he's 203 lb,
41:49so maybe he loses some touches at the goal line, but I don't know, man. Like these other guys on the roster shouldn't
41:55be uh entering in versus your first-round running back, so I think by the time Charbonnet gets back in the mix, it should be Price all the way.
42:02Yeah, I do think it's a Mike McDaniel overarching thought that his team is going to rotate running backs. Like Clint Kubiak in previous stops has
42:12basically relied on one guy and then he gets to Seattle and you know, they're all about to >> Charbonnet and Walker both deserve
42:18touches? Like is there any other evidence? Like maybe it's just like that they had to get Charbonnet touches cuz they drafted him
42:24in the second round and now that's no longer the case. Possibly, but again, I think Clint Kubiak in his past has
42:30always like hey, if we have one guy who's the best, then we can go with him.
42:34And then they get to Seattle and the entire season, no matter what, it's a split backfield. So, no matter I mean,
42:40to your Damon Price is going to get a ton of touches here. I just think it could be Jeremiah Love ask in passing
42:46situations that you have the Emanuel Wilsons and especially like the George Holanis until Zach Charbonnet comes back.
42:52>> Yeah. Yeah. Last note, Seahawks offensive coordinator is now or comes from the 49ers where he was there from 2019 to 2025
43:00run game coordinator this last year. So, I think like you know, a pretty balanced offense here is like fully the expectation. I totally agree with you
43:08that you should be going above where he is cuz he's being drafted as running back 26 and you have him as running back
43:1323.
43:15Uh by the way, I'm on the clock right now and I got Jahmyr Gibbs as the third overall pick. So, uh you
43:20should be playing on Underdog right now, too.
43:22I mean, start drafting. You hear us talk about Best Ball all the time. I'm about to take a vacation. Everyone else is
43:26about to take a vacation. Go and draft where you're on vacation on the beach, just looking out the water, making some
43:31Best Ball picks. Come on. By the way, weekly winners is awesome. You draft one team, it's the DFS lineup for 17 weeks.
43:38The eliminator is my new favorite structure, though. It's head-to-head all the way to week 17 finals if you can get there. That is that's as good as it
43:45gets. Yeah. I'm more traditional in my stuff. I even like the sit and goes where >> I know you think you're sick.
43:50>> all season, 12, and then whoever has the best roster wins the cash. By the way, your boy over here won the Bandit Bowl
43:57last year. Took down all the employees.
43:59Let's Let's go. Uh again, link in the description, promo code the show.
44:04I believe the promo right now is play five, get 50.
44:09But don't hold me to that.
44:10Dameon Johnson is your running back 24.
44:14The yards per carry stuff, not good.
44:17Underlying metrics might look just a little bit better, but still not great.
44:21But this is a true use your eyes uh because on a terrible team he was the brightest spot. It's the same injury
44:27that Cam Akers was dealing with. Uh it was feared to be worse, but I do think it's just like just a dislocated uh
44:33ankle there. So it's Same thing applies from the Cam Akers discussion. He was not nearly as good in fantasy as Akers was. I don't think he
44:40catches passes as cleanly. Uh Dylan Sampson I think uh is a good pairing with Dameon Johnson, and then compared to the Giants offensive line, I still
44:48have a lot of questions here. They did get a first uh round left tackle. It's Spencer Brown who's kicking over to the
44:54to the left side there. Zion Johnson he got a bag, but he's not my favorite player. Elton Jenkins got a decent pay
45:01uh pay bump, but also dealing with uh some injuries. Tevin Jenkins and then Titus Howard going to play tackle again there. So lots of
45:10moving parts in this offense including uh at head coach. I will say Todd Monken is probably looking around this this team like we're going to run the ball
45:17with Dameon Johnson as much as we can.
45:19Like that's the history. He's one of their best players on the offense. The quarterbacks stink. So I think it'll be 18 disgusting touches for Dameon
45:26Johnson, but uh I'll take him. Let's talk David Montgomery because you are lower than consensus on him. He's being drafted as running back 21.
45:36He is your running back 25, no longer a Detroit Lion. Really the only move the Houston Texans made in their backfield,
45:43and it's a I think seismic one when you look at, you know, the Woody Marks compared to Dameon Johnson here. So uh
45:51why might you be slightly more concerned than the public? I think David Montgomery is a player that I appreciate, but he is somebody that's
46:00been hit a lot, and I worry that changing teams as a 29-year-old going to an offensive line that's way worse than
46:07he was with with the Lions is going to be a kind of a a culture shock for him. And then, they at least have
46:14other guys that they can give touches to and what he marks. So, the Texans are trying their offensive line. They keep changing players. It's
46:21still not the best. We'll see how great their new guard, the first-rounder, uh Keilan Robinson is going to be. And he might play some center for them as
46:28well, by the way, which would be him changing positions. Um so, I'm just worried that David Montgomery is just like not going to feel as good
46:36as he was the last couple of years.
46:38Remember, nobody wanted him after that Bears season when he's dealing with a really bad offensive line. That was when he was a 25-year-old. So, now we're
46:45dealing with that situation as a as a 29-year-old. I get a little bit nervous.
46:48Dameon Pierce is your running back 26.
46:51Uh I don't think you were part of the Tooton tribe.
46:55Yet, I think he's a big winner of the draft and free agency. His only competition is Chris Rodriguez, really. I mean, Devin
47:03Singletary is going to keep his four minute, two minute and like real pass-down situation stuff. But, I'm assuming the Jaguars, based on their
47:12moves and based on their actions, are still quite high internally here on Dameon Pierce. Yeah, I'm guessing so, too. I think they wanted to find Jahmyr
47:19Gibbs in the second round. They obviously couldn't do that cuz of the Seahawks. Um but yeah, they're just down to Chris
47:25Rodriguez and Dameon Pierce. I think stylistically, two extremely different players. I think they both will get touches. They want Dameon Pierce to win
47:32this thing out, but I do think that Chris Rodriguez has a history with Liam Coen and is the more trusted player.
47:38Dameon Pierce was like going in the wrong direction at times last season and then still making big plays. So, I I
47:44don't know how internally they view that. He's He's a boom-bust player to me as many fourth, fifth-round picks are.
47:51This offense is good, though. So, like he has a lot of of runway from here. I also think that he has, you know, some
47:58some negative outcomes as well. Yeah, at some point after our multi-week break, we go back and look at the second-year players at wide receiver and running
48:07back and review all that tape. I'm excited to do that with Raheem Mostert and a few of these other talents that
48:11we've talked about here. Chuba Hubbard is your running back 27.
48:17He sucked last year in terms of his underlying metrics, but guess what? It's because he was injured. And while he was
48:22injured, Rico Dowdle went off for multiple 200-yard games, but really as soon as Chuba came back and showed a glimpse of health, he then
48:29just went back and overtook Rico Dowdle.
48:33So, this backfield on a team that likes to run the football is Chuba Hubbard and Jonathan Brooks. And then away we go.
48:39New center, new left tackle.
48:42I did like both of the replacements that they got for those spots, but just kind of interesting what they're what they're
48:47dealing with over there. I think how you said it is is really accurate. He was bad cuz he was injured, and then by the
48:52end of the season they're like, "You know, we do love some some Chuba Hubbard here." He's going to be dealing with
48:57Jonathan Brooks who is apparently healthy. It's been a couple ACLs that we're talking about here. I would like some evidence that he's actually
49:05healthy. Okay. Um but that he like looks good and all that type of stuff, but I think that there's a little bit of a chance that Jonathan
49:13Brooks mixes in here, but at the same time there's really no excuse for this Panthers offense to not be like league
49:19average. They pretty much were in a lot of metrics last year, maybe just a tad below average. Um but Terrace Marshall
49:26going into year two, Bryce playing better football this last year than the year before that, um and the the coaching staff is what? The
49:33year three of the experiment. So, we should see a league average offense in the starter on a league average offense should typically be going higher than
49:41this. I just think there's like some chance that Brooks mixes in. Would you say that there's a tier break here? Um I can be convinced
49:48on one more. Okay. Well, the one more is Jaylen Warren of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Um Fascinating year last year.
49:56Obviously, we have a new play caller going from Arthur Smith now to Mike McCarthy.
50:01They lose Kenny Gainwell who got the vast majority of his production and crazy receiving stats from Aaron Rodgers.
50:10Talk about crazy situation that Aaron Rodgers has found himself in right now.
50:14But, Jaylen Warren is still on this team and then you bring in Who did they bring in?
50:20Big Rico, your boy. Rico Dowdle.
50:23Rico Nasty.
50:24>> My brain is kaput. I've talked to you about Jaylen Warren at 28. I'm with you.
50:29I'm in I'm so in like NFL draft mode still.
50:33You know how bad You know how bad my brain is? I've I almost like said that the Dolphins drafted Francis Mauigoa because so many
50:43times we like mocked that and like in my brain I thought it was true. Yeah, I know. I've I'm dealing with the same thing.
50:51Yeah, so Rico Dowdle signed a two-year $12 million contract. $5 million was guaranteed. So, that's like real money. Like Rico Dowdle's going to get
51:01touches. Jaylen Warren though was already splitting reps last year with Kenny Gainwell and was like still holding the line as like a half PPR flex
51:09starter. He was the 52nd overall player on a per game basis. I got him ranked 62nd overall. I'm going to keep saying
51:16that. I think the Steelers offense is like pretty dang solid despite not having a quarterback right now, but Darnell Washington's an awesome
51:25blocking tight end. Okonko's an awesome right tackle. They return their center who's awesome. The right guard is a good player and then they got to get
51:33healthier with Broderick Jones at left tackle, but the rest of those guys could really really push piles. I think that this the identity of the
51:40offense is going to be pretty through the running backs and it just comes down to like who's going to be the goal line
51:45early down guys that Warren or Rico Dowdle.
51:48Um and I do think that in passing situations, we lost that with Kenny Gainwell last year, but 2 years ago we
51:55viewed Jaylen Warren as kind of this like passing down specialist. I can see him catching more passes this season.
52:01Broderick Jones, I'm assuming even if he is healthy, is just going to be replaced and they're going to move Troy Fautanu
52:06to left tackle and then have Max Eichenberg playing right tackle. And then if you look at their center and right guard are really locked down.
52:13Studs. And then even Jennings Duncker maybe moving over to the left guard spot with Spencer Anderson. So like on paper, the Steelers offensive line if
52:20the two rookies play really well, could be quite good.
52:24Yeah.
52:24>> If you look at those the draft picks that they had, Duncker and Ikenberg, I think you can view at those guys as like
52:30running like run first style picks. So I think everything about this identity is for these guys.
52:35>> And like I know 13 personnel is the new wave in this stuff. Arthur Smith was doing that two, three years in advance. Now, Jonnu
52:44Smith is gone, but you also have your sixth offensive lineman here in Darnell Washington. Rhamondre Stevenson is here as running back 29. We already talked
52:51about his running mate in Traveon.
52:52Anything you want to add here with Mondre? It's a big discount versus where he finished last year as the 31st overall player. I got him at 68th
52:59overall here. I think that Traveon should get more touches going into the second season there and Rhamondre, I believe, is more or less a contract
53:06season for him just based off how it's how it's structured. Like we said, the offensive line should be a lot better
53:11with Elijah Vera Tucker there. Garrett Wilson going to center where he's a supreme athlete. So hopefully they figure this thing out.
53:19And I I still think at the 1-yard line it's most of the time going to be Rhamondre Stevenson. So in half PPR
53:25standard leagues, I I think he's holding on to flex value still. RJ Harvey is your running back 30. The first Broncos running back off the board.
53:34Why? Well, he needs to be. I mean, they drafted him in the second day round last season. Uh, I can't say I loved his
53:41tape. Um, I thought he was very, very boom bust and I think there's a reason why JK Dobbins was so far ahead of him for most
53:48of the season and in comes Jonah Coleman to be, you know, a insurance option to JK Dobbins. So, I I don't think there's
53:56going to be a bell cow back path to RJ Harvey, but he's super explosive, the offense is good, the offensive line is
54:02good, the play caller is good. So, if he can get good, then all of a sudden we have uh, an RB2 on our hands. Um, but I
54:09thought he was a boom bust prospect and I thought he was looking more like a bust last year, but, you know, I'm not
54:15saying that's going to be the case for his entire rookie contract. This is different than eye test. Just from a fantasy lens, I think his season last
54:22year has been underrated and overlooked.
54:24Like, if you look from week eight on, he finished as a top 11 running back six times. Six times. Mhm. Um, he was
54:35getting all the work. I'm not saying that's going to be the case cuz obviously JK Dobbins was injured and you bring in Jonah Coleman, but who knows
54:41what's going through the brain of of Sean Payton, but that was, you know, a running back six, nine, then two down
54:48weeks, then four, five, then running back 24, then running back 11, and running back 11. And that's in the most pivotal weeks of your fantasy football
54:55season and it just feels like RJ Harvey's been left for dead by a ton of people out there. Um, yeah, and I also
55:01just wanted to mention the Broncos were like the healthiest team until Bo Nix snapped his ankle at the worst time, but
55:06like during the regular season this team went 14 and three. They were blowing everybody out and like everything was going perfectly. Like,
55:12typically there's just some state of regression even if we like love the Broncos roster, especially with Jaylen Waddle. So, yeah. I would be pretty
55:20surprised if if RJ Harvey doesn't have any fantasy value this year, like that would be a complete shock. Like, he should be like the RB3 mix and there's
55:25there's upside here. Speaking of, Tony Pollard is your running back 31. This is the first Titans running back here on the board. Uh, they were linked with
55:33Jerry Mylove. They really weren't linked with other free agents. Uh, and then their only other investment in this backfield was a fifth-round rookie in
55:40Nick Singleton who I'll speak for us. We did not love him coming out of Penn State. So, Tony Pollard was in a crap situation
55:49last year. I kind of got a bit too excited about it, but he finds himself in the exact same spot and just hopefully in an improved
55:56environment here. Yeah, and he's being paid $9 million. None of it's guaranteed, but I think he's going to be remaining on the team here. And when I
56:05was reading the Titans reporters, they were saying that Singleton is like direct competition for Tyjae Spears and this was not about Tony Pollard at all.
56:13And how I read that is Pollard's their best runner and then Singleton and Tyjae Spears as the compliment are kind of
56:19competing with each other.
56:21And you mentioned it down the stretch with the Tyjae Harvey numbers. Like if you have those in front of you, Tony
56:25Pollard down the stretch was cooking with gas. And that was a terrible coaching staff. And hopefully they get a little bit better on the offensive line.
56:34They didn't really add much to it, so I'm a little bit nervous there.
56:37And Tony Pollard is What is he? 29?
56:40Yeah, he's 29 years old, so there's definitely some warts on the profile. Is there a chance he kind of squeezes by as
56:46a like flex running back this year? I do think that's still very possible. Okay, Rico Dowdle is your running back 32.
56:52Anything you want to add here in the conversation we have with Jaylen Warren?
56:55Yeah, just add the two two years $12 million, five of it guaranteed. Uh running profile and the Steelers want to run the ball, so it's just whoever's
57:04better between him and Warren. What about Cam Akers and Blake Corum who check in as running back 33 and 34? Both of them have
57:11contingent value and I think they are clearly the RB2s and there's not really an RB3 present for both of them. And
57:17then I think the RB1s are fairly solidified, but like not untouchable. So, I think these guys are they're not pure handcuffs, they're more
57:24than that. But if you're starting these guys, you're probably not loving your team unless you're in like a deep standard league, but
57:31I like them as picks. Next is the first Vikings running back off the board, and that's Jordan Mason. He actually had
57:36incredible rushing underlying metrics, and he seemingly has his entire career.
57:41Um, they, you know, would like to stay healthier along the offensive line. Uh, you know, Ryan Kelly now is no longer a part of
57:50this team, and I believe he might have retired. Um, obviously Christian Darrisaw was in and out, in and out, and uh, yeah, I mean,
57:58this Vikings team was one that I would have pegged to add something at the running back spot, and they did not
58:04other than a sixth-round rookie uh, in De'Von Achane. In fact, they added a fullback here in Max Bradison.
58:10Right, it's going to be Mason versus Aaron Jones, and I think that Mason's the guy I want to attach myself with. I
58:15don't hate Aaron Jones where he's being selected so late. Um, the quarterback play and the offensive line injuries derailed this last season.
58:24I think Kyler Murray's is like being undersold as how much of an upgrade that is versus what they have been dealing
58:29with. then, uh, on paper, their offensive line looks pretty solid if they can get fully back to healthy. So, uh, there's some upside here. Jordan
58:37Mason's just like never going to be a like full-time player just the way that he operates. Um, so, yeah, I I want to draft some Vikings
58:44this year though. I was like looking at my rankings, I'm pretty far ahead on Jordan Addison and Kyler Murray and then
58:50even T.J. Hockenson. Like, I think there's a chance Kevin O'Connell hits us with like, you better not have forgotten what I'm capable of, you know?
58:59Sounds like they might be adding Jauan Jennings as well over the next day and a half as he's visiting.
59:04Okay, Rashad White is now a Washington Commander, uh, and he joins Bill Krosky Merritt, and these are the top two
59:14runners on the Commanders on this list.
59:17So, why don't we just talk through this backfield? What do you have to say? So, in comes Keaontay Ingram, uh, who's
59:22somebody I appreciated. He is an early down type of rusher without a lot of juice. Uh, Rashad White is been around,
59:31but he only signed a $2 million contract one year obviously. So that's not starter money. Like that's not even like for sure backup money. Like that's just
59:40like not a lot of money at all for a veteran. So this one's wide open. Bill Crocky-Merritt has the most explosiveness of the three. Rashad White
59:49is going to be the passing down back as a protection and just receiving ability.
59:52Like I feel very firm about that. That's not the greatest fantasy role, but in full PPR leagues he can kind of hang in
59:58there.
59:59Bill or Keaton, there's there's a chance one of these guys kind kind of works in like we saw with Chris Rodriguez and
60:04Bill last year. So I tweeted tweeted this out yesterday. I feel better about Bill this year than last year when the hype got completely
60:12out of control. I was not part of that hype at all. I just feel better. Like my ranking this year will probably be
60:18higher than it was this last season and the offensive line should be at least decent with their right tackle going into year two as well. Moving on, Chris
60:28Rodriguez is here at 38th. Liam Cohen coached him in college, brought him from the Commanders down to the Jaguars, offers a different body type than anyone
60:38else on that Jaguars roster. I mean his three yards after contact per attempt over the last two seasons actually leads all running backs with at least 100
60:46carries.
60:47And this is exactly what they cite when they talked about adding him was his, you know, yards after contact. So maybe he can bring that here to
60:55Jacksonville. Yeah, Liam Cohen was like hitting us with comments like if you need four yards he's getting you five yards. If you need six yards he's
61:01getting you seven yards. Like he really does appreciate Chris Rodriguez.
61:04>> sounds like to me, Hayden, like read between the lines, it's oh, if Basil toots it up in a bad way, like that. I like it.
61:12Farts around, yeah. Hey, we just have Chris Rodriguez hitting singles and doubles for us all game long. Yep. And if we want to do the efficiency
61:20spreadsheet bros, like Chris Rodriguez efficiency is right there man. So I think this is very real. The contract by the way was staggering. I remember when
61:28we when we're doing our free agency videos they signed him and we're like, oh that's interesting and then like an hour
61:34later in comes the contract and we're like, oh that's that's very interesting.
61:37He got uh 10 million, 6 million dollars guaranteed, 4 million dollar signing bonus. They hit him with a bunch of void
61:43years cuz they wanted to make sure this contract can cuz could squeeze in on on the cap. So I think I think the interest
61:50is very real and I think it's a toss-up of who's going to get the first goal line carry of the season, Rodriguez or
61:55Tyton. I think that's a legit toss-up.
61:57You want to do some double time to finish this up?
61:59>> Please. Yep.
62:00>> Okay. JK Dobbins is your running back 39. If someone said they had JK Dobbins ranked ahead of RJ Harvey, would you
62:07say, yeah me too, but I really don't want to put it out there?
62:11No, I can't get there.
62:13I'm worried about my guy JK. I mean another huge injury from him this last year. I feel so bad.
62:19>> is with with JK Dobbins is post season stuff you can say, well in all the games he's played he's ranked
62:25top 10, top 15 in all these metrics and I'm never one to say like a guy, you know, has an injury history or injury
62:31riddled and all that type of stuff, injury prone, but the reason why you can get him here and he still has
62:38all those metrics is because he just can't finish the season. It's that simple. Yeah. He has incentives in his contract if he hits like 1200 scrimmage
62:46yards and that type of stuff. So but there's a pathway but it's it's pretty dicey at this point. I think that
62:52the Jonah Coleman selection I think you know poured some cold water on any JK Dobbins hype here. So I wouldn't be surprised if
63:00week one rankings come along and like I do have Dobbins like right there with RJ Harvey and the projections see it the
63:05same way.
63:06Like you said it's it's the entire, you know, season that we're worried about though. Yeah. I'm going to plant a flag
63:12and say you will have JK Dobbins >> I probably I probably will. Hand up.
63:16Hand up guilty.
63:18Okay, we're going talk the Vikings backfield, so there goes Aaron Jones.
63:21And then let's get to Kenny Gainwell at I screwed up these numbers at 41 overall.
63:28Um Talk to me because again, all of his production last year was in the receiving game. Do you think he's going
63:34to be able to do that same receiving stuff here with the Bucks?
63:37Not nearly as much. I think that's why they signed him, they gave him good money. He's going to have a role in full
63:42PPR, he's going to be better than RB 41 and at the same time, Bucky Irving can catch the ball here.
63:47Um and there's just more options to throw the ball to um in Tampa Bay than what the Steelers were dealing with and
63:53I think a large part of that was Aaron Rodgers. You know, he did not want to get hit and he's such a psycho before
63:59the ball snapped that he's trying trying to dice things up for um Kenny Gainwell. I don't think that Baker Mayfield has that playing style.
64:07In fact, it's the exact opposite playing style, so I just don't think he's going to catch the ball as much and we're not
64:11talking about Liam Cohen days when the Buccaneers were awesome throwing the ball to running backs that dipped this last year predictably so without Liam
64:17Cohen. Jonathan Brooks is your running back 42. I want him to be successful so badly. Mhm.
64:24Even in like the 30 touches he had as a rookie, like there were a couple ones that he made people miss, had some explosive plays,
64:30especially in the receiving game.
64:32Uh I just hope that's the case. Like I I I want him to work because uh he's a fun player and this team could
64:39really utilize some yards after catch options for sure. Yeah, he claims he's almost 100% um feels good getting back to the football movements, getting
64:48there, still just going through the plan with the half for me is what he just said today. So I'm rooting for him. He has been fully
64:53cleared and he's like was running off to the side at the end of last year and so it would just be like I'm sure we'll
64:59hear reports of he'll take a practice on and then a practice off and those type of things, but yeah. You know, Trevor
65:05Etienne is the third running back on this team and if Jonathan Brooks is healthy, I think he's clearly going to be the RB2. Tyron Tracy.
65:13Giants running back two, you would think.
65:15Uh still existing in this backfield.
65:18Uh no longer Brian Daboll. Uh instead it's Matt Nagy. And I still think Tyron Tracy has NFL skills. You know, just who
65:25knows how much that equals touches on a weekly basis. Yeah, I I think that he would be the RB2 if Cam Akers has a
65:31setback or something like that. Um but, you know, he's he's fine at both phases but not great at either of them. And I
65:38think that just makes it kind of difficult. So, I have him ranked a little bit higher than I would if I
65:43firmly knew that Cam Akers was like fully ready to go. So. How about two second-year passing down backs in Woody Marks and Dylan Sampson? Yeah, Woody
65:52Marks not my cup of tea. Um if I'm being honest as a rusher, I think that he has some value as a pass catcher but still
65:59don't have a lot of faith in the Texans offense and David Montgomery's old reliable. So, Woody Marks had like some moments as a rookie in fantasy but I
66:07never thought that the tape got there.
66:08I'll say the exact opposite with Dylan Sampson where I think the tape is pretty decent there but with Quintez Cephus the
66:14state of that offense is like hard for him to kind of find find an impact. So, I like the player more in real life than
66:20fantasy. Yeah, I I thought when Quintez got in the lineup it was very clear who the better player was but then Dylan Sampson could like pull a
66:29Jerome Ford and have some like spike weeks as a receiver.
66:33Okay, I'm going to clear out this tier.
66:35Tyler Allgeier.
66:37Mike Washington Jr. Who a rookie backing up Ashton Jeanty. Isaiah Pacheco now the Detroit Lions. Brian Robinson now of the Atlanta Falcons. And Tank Bigsby. Yeah,
66:47he makes it top 50 Tank Bigsby.
66:50Now of the Philadelphia Eagles. Anything you want to say about those five backups? They have no value unless the starter in front of them goes down and
66:59then if the starter in front of them goes down we will be talking about them relentlessly on our ranking shows. So,
67:04I'll you know, there's no way to kind of distinguish between them all.
67:09I guess I'll mention just Mike Washington cuz he's the rookie. You know, 223 lb, caught 28 passes, is fast as Not very elusive out in space
67:17cuz he kind of runs upright.
67:19And he's still trying to figure out his plan, but his competition is Dylan Laube. And he's going to be the RB2.
67:27You know what I mean? I know. Dylan Laube like probably shows up to the weight room and like, "What the hell is
67:31going on over here?"
67:32Remember when Dylan Laube was getting passing down field last year for the Raiders? Like that should have been the the first red flag of that regime. Well,
67:40yeah. I thought that the red flag was he's chatting with like Davis Maddock and everybody. And then all of a sudden
67:44it's like, "Okay, this is probably not going to go well." Oh, shout out. Come on. Um yeah, I mean, Mike Washington for
67:51his size at 223, you'd think he's a power back? No, he's a high variance big play back. And uh Yep. If he gets 10
67:57touches a game, he might reel off a 30-yarder. He's not getting 10 touches, but Jente gets a lot of them and that
68:02makes him pretty high odds of getting injured. Okay, final five. Braelon Allen, Jona Coleman, the rookie with the Denver Broncos. Tajae Spears, Keaton
68:10Mitchell, fantasy football Twitter's favorite player, and Ke'Shawn Allen, the rookie out of Penn State who joins that backfield in the Commanders. Um
68:19if you'd have asked me today which one of these guys has the highest number of touches during their rookie season without an injury in front of them,
68:29I think I'm going Tajae Spears. What about you? I think Spears will get involved there. I don't think it's going to be enough to be fantasy relevant. I
68:34mean, he was getting touches last year and we never brought up his name at all.
68:37So, I'm kind of still looking at all these guys as contingent value plays.
68:42Um maybe Keaton Mitchell can get enough carries to to make a difference. But I think it's going to be like best ball
68:47style carries where you're just like, "What What week is the big play coming?"
68:51It's It's much It's a lot more fun to play in best ball than redraft when you're just playing whack-a-mole. I do want to bring up
68:57Ke'Shawn Allen just because he had kind of a bell cow profile at Penn State. Can catch the ball, pass protect a little bit, nothing too crazy
69:04there. Reliable rusher. The Commanders depth chart is really, really bad. So, among six rounders, like could he work his way and have a Kyle McNunn guy's
69:13type of season? I think I think that's possible with him. But, like these guys aren't like your standard redraft leagues. I hope you aren't dealing with
69:19this this tier. This is This is pure best ball stuff now. You know, there's an injury, which there are going to be
