Malik Nabers

PositiveValue0:00

The source ranks Nabers as the most mispriced player in fantasy right now. Avoiding the PUP list is the most positive news on Nabers in a long time; even if he's active week one and plays throughout the season, he might be a diminished version of himself, but if he's not diminished, he's a true tier-one receiver (top 3–5 in the NFL). Even at 85% of his career production level, that matches historical averages for third-round wide receivers like T Higgins and Zay Flowers. At 23 years old, a freak athlete with no competition at his position, he has upside to go absolutely crazy. The Giants were 31st in points per game when he was their WR1 in his rookie season through week four; if the Giants improve their scoring this year and he's active week one, he should be ranked next to Devonta Smith and A.J. Brown at the two–three turn, not in round four where he's been going.

0:00Malik Nabers is avoiding the PUP list.
0:02Does this change your entire outlook of
0:06Malik Nabers season and really where we
0:07should be drafting him right now?
0:09>> I mean for God's sake, this is the most
0:10positive day of Malik Nabers news we've
0:12had in
0:13>> [laughter]
0:13>> in a long, long time. Even if he's going
0:16to be active week one and play
0:18throughout the course of the season, he
0:19might be a diminished version of
0:21himself. But if he's not a diminished
0:22version of himself,
0:24this is a guy that is
0:26very clearly like a true tier one
0:29receiver in the NFL. And when I say
0:30that, I mean like that's like three,
0:32four, five guys at any given point that
0:35is in that first tier.
0:36>> I'll say this, I think he's like the
0:37most mispriced player in fantasy right
0:39now.
0:39>> Mhm.
0:40>> The fact that he's avoided the PUP list,
0:41like the training camp PUP list, is all
0:44the data that I need here. Even if he's
0:46like 85% of what he has been throughout
0:48his career, that's still like the
0:50historical averages for T Higgins, Zay
0:52Flowers, all the third round wide
0:54receivers. And if I'm going to be, you
0:56know, taking the exception player coming
0:58off an injury, had a little bit of
0:59setback in the off season, it's probably
1:01the freak athlete that's 23 years old
1:02who's been a wide receiver one. And
1:04there's no competition. He can go
1:05absolutely crazy. And when he's been the
1:07wide receiver one in fantasy, the Giants
1:10from his rookie season through week four
1:11when he got hurt, they were 31st in
1:14points per game. 31st. I don't think the
1:16Giants are going to be 31st this year in
1:18scoring. And if he's going to be out
1:20there in week one, why shouldn't he be
1:22next to Devonta Smith, A.J. Brown at the
1:24two, three turn? That's where I'm
1:26ranking him right now, and he's been
1:27going in round four. I think that is
1:29going to correct. Really quick.
