Adonai Mitchell

PositiveValue18:39

Adonai Mitchell is a priority waiver wire add, ranking as WR38 and WR28 on the season despite having zero touchdowns. He shows high consistency with 60+ yards in back-to-back games and high usage, participating in 41 of 50 dropbacks. He is considered a top-tier acquisition alongside Denzel Boston and Trey Tucker.

Insight page

Antonio Williams

NegativeValue55:31

Antonio Williams saw a usage bump in week two, but his redraft value is significantly diminished by the Jayden Daniels injury, which likely shifts the Commanders to a run-heavy offense under Marcus Mariota.

Insight page

Blake Whiteheart

NegativeUsage25:17

Blake Whiteheart has recorded one of the few receiving touchdowns for the Browns, though he is not a primary target to chase for fantasy production.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeBust40:56

Chris Rodriguez is a recommended drop, having recorded only 3.6 points through two weeks and losing high-leverage work and snap share to teammate Basel Tuten, who is now seeing more playing time and opportunities like Wildcat carries inside the 5-yard line.

Insight page

Dallas Goedert

NegativeInjury20:41

Dallas Goedert is currently dealing with an injury, which impacts the broader waiver wire landscape.

Insight page

Darren Waller

PositiveUsage60:38

Darren Waller is a strong asset in tight end premium leagues, playing on 22 of 40 dropbacks. His usage involves being isolated on one side of the field to force defenses into difficult coverage decisions, and he has shown red-zone upside despite some officiating misfortune.

Insight page

Denzel Boston

PositiveBreakout24:01

Denzel Boston is a priority waiver wire add who should be rostered in at least 50% of leagues. The rookie wide receiver for the Browns showed significant promise in Week 2, recording 7 targets, 5 receptions, 95 yards, and a score. He is running more routes than his teammates and demonstrates elite ability to create separation on tight-window targets, showing high-level contact balance similar to his college production at Washington.

Insight page

Dontayvion Wicks

PositiveBreakout15:16

Dontayvion Wicks is a strong waiver target and a viable flex play, maintaining a 73% route share and drawing 10 targets for 147 yards and a touchdown through two weeks. His Week 2 performance (5 catches for 74 yards) was more encouraging for his future outlook than his Week 1 touchdown-dependent game. He is a fine fantasy play due to his increased playing time in a Green Bay offense that is now forced to be pass-first.

Insight page

Drake Maye

NegativeProjection46:08

Drake Maye is no longer a set-it-and-forget-it quarterback; fantasy managers should look for alternatives due to his recent performance dip, the injury to AJ Brown, and the absence of Stefon Diggs. He is currently a matchup-dependent play.

Insight page

Emanuel Wilson

PositiveUsage30:27

Emanuel Wilson is a deep-cut waiver target who saw 29 snaps and 21 carries for 92 yards in his most recent game. He functions primarily as a short-yardage hammer in the backfield rotation, particularly when Jadarian Price is off the field.

Insight page

Isaiah Williams

NegativeRole21:08

Isaiah Williams is part of the team's wide receiver rotation, specifically involved in the slot role alongside others.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeInjury0:30

JK Dobbins carries extreme injury risk and lacks receiving upside, making him a limited fantasy asset despite his high-volume role in Sean Payton's scheme. Although he is reportedly 'good to go' after leaving his last game with an injury, historical benchmarks suggest that even with a 250-carry pace, he projects as only an RB23 in points per game, indicating that volume alone does not guarantee elite production.

Insight page

Jadarian Price

PositiveRole30:37

Jadarian Price is viewed as the best running back in the Seahawks group with a role that has potential to grow, despite exiting early with a shoulder injury in his most recent game where he recorded 24 snaps, 13 carries, and 52 yards.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveUsage0:30

Jonah Coleman is a priority waiver wire target (suggested 30-35% FAAB) after playing 25 of 62 snaps following JK Dobbins' injury. He is the trusted player for high-leverage, late-game situations, specifically grinding out clock in the final four minutes. While the backfield is crowded, he offers flex value with potential for a 50% workload share and superior receiving upside compared to Dobbins.

Insight page

Kalif Raymond

NegativeUsage53:20

Kalif Raymond has seen increased route participation and usage in two-receiver sets, but his fantasy production is largely matchup-dependent, making him a low-ceiling player.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeProjection41:59

Keaton Mitchell is a disappointing fantasy asset with only 5.3 points through two weeks; concerns exist regarding his usage and the effectiveness of the play-calling scheme in creating opportunities for his speed.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveUsage5:52

Kenneth Walker is performing as the best running back in the NFL, averaging 31.5 opportunities per game. While injury concerns suppressed his draft stock, he remains highly valuable for fantasy managers even if his workload is managed down to 25 opportunities per game to keep him fresh.

Insight page

Keon Coleman

PositiveValue58:46

Keon Coleman is a recommended waiver wire target (currently 2% rostered) and is preferred over Josh Palmer if a replacement for DJ Moore is needed.

Insight page

Laquon Treadwell

NegativeRole58:58

Laquon Treadwell saw a significant snap increase (27 of 35 dropbacks) following Alec Pierce's injury, playing more than Keenan Allen. While he may see target volume due to the Colts' pass-heavy scheme, the source advises passing on him for fantasy purposes.

Insight page

Marvin Harrison Jr.

NegativeProjection42:38

Marvin Harrison Jr. has struggled with only 3.8 points through two weeks, potentially due to facing zone-heavy defenses. He is not recommended for lineups against the 49ers or Giants, with the Lions game being a potential spot to reconsider him.

Insight page

Rashod Bateman

PositiveUsage22:23

Rashad Bateman is a strong waiver wire add while Zay Flowers is sidelined, as he is the clear primary target in the Ravens' passing attack. He saw significant usage with 38-40 dropbacks and nearly a 100% route share in his recent breakout performance, recording 7 catches for 88 yards and a touchdown.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeInjury1:51

RJ Harvey is dealing with a short-term injury. His fantasy value is highly dependent on being the primary back in Sean Payton's offense, but with three names currently in the mix, it is unlikely he will replicate his previous season-long success.

Insight page

Tank Bigsby

PositiveUsage16:57

Tank Bigsby is the preferred early-down back in the Eagles' backfield split, seeing 14 carries compared to Will Shipley's seven. He is favored for fantasy value in the event of Saquon Barkley's absence.

Insight page

Ted Hurst

NegativeRole56:59

Rookie Ted Hurst is seeing significant usage as the Buccaneers' WR3, playing 29 of 44 dropbacks. However, his role is primarily as a clear-out receiver for Chris Godwin and Egbuka. With a 20-yard aDOT and 10 targets, he has a narrow margin for error on difficult catches, making his fantasy viability dependent on Baker Mayfield's high-level performance.

Insight page

Tre Tucker

PositiveBreakout14:00

Trey Tucker is a priority waiver add due to his unique role as the primary deep-threat receiver in an offense that is committed to throwing downfield. He jumped from WR73 in Week 1 to WR6 in Week 2. While his production will be high-variance, he is the only player on the roster capable of fulfilling this specific downfield role. He is compared to 2024 Rashid Shaheed for his boom-or-bust profile and can provide value as a fill-in starter in weeks with high target volume.

Insight page

Tyler Badie

NegativeUsage0:38

Tyler Badie remains a secondary piece in the Denver backfield rotation, playing 16 of 62 snaps. He splits passing-down work with Jonah Coleman, with a slight edge in passing-down usage at a rate of seven to six.

Insight page

Will Shipley

NegativeUsage17:04

Will Shipley serves as the primary passing-down back for the Eagles, logging 24 passing snaps versus seven runs. He is a secondary waiver target compared to Tank Bigsby.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury23:15

Zay Flowers' injury status is the key factor for Rashad Bateman's fantasy value; Flowers was close to playing in Week 2 and is expected to return soon, which would likely relegate Bateman to a handcuff role.

0:00We turn the page to week three for the week three waiver wire. Joel Smith joins me. Oh buddy, we have a lot to discuss
0:07because injuries are hitting on almost every single team and that is leading to some players, I would say surprisingly, getting the football. First, I want to
0:16start with this. Okay, we're not going to talk about Devon here or Dalton Schultz. Those guys are 51 and 57% rostered on Yahoo Leagues at the moment.
0:23So, how we do this show is we'll talk about some players under 50% and then under about 20% in the deep cut section
0:30and we'll go through all these positions at running backs, wide receivers, so and so forth. So, Joel, let's kick things off with the Denver Broncos. Jonah
0:38Coleman after JK Dobbins leaves this game plays 25 of 62 snaps. Tyler Bedet 16 of 62. Passdowns were six to seven in
0:47favor of Bedet by one. Jonah Coleman, I think is a name that we brought up last week, Joel. But anyways, he he's
0:52rostered in 27% of leagues out there.
0:54So, what should the people do with their fab dollars?
0:56>> Yeah, I think it's probably one that went down the past couple weeks just because >> probably drafted more than 27% but did
1:03didn't play in week one, but now a huge role here. I'm not blowing up my fab for Coleman because Dobbins is probably
1:11going to be back next week. Harvey probably more short-term injury, but I still would spend a decent bit and think he is a great ad just because like this
1:20is why you drafted him because Dobbins has the extreme injury risk and Harvey's a little more uncertain. So the split here between Bedet and him, it was
1:28almost all Coleman in terms of what matters.
1:32>> This is a tough one for me because I can't remember what show it was with you Joel. I mean, I record so many. I record
1:38multiple with you, but there there was a moment where he was one of the players that I wish we had talked about more
1:44last week in that if someone drops him, then sometimes some of the best additions are when the players who get dropped in week one uh kind of fall
1:53through the cracks there.
1:54>> Mhm.
1:54>> However, I'm not sure if any of these Broncos running backs are going to have like true fantasy season changing value
2:02unless two of them get injured and only one is left. And by that I mean that's what worked with RJ Harvey last year,
2:08right? Where he got the carries between the 20s, he got the cool manufactured stuff, you know, inside the 20 yard line
2:16that Shawn Payeyton loves to do and then he also got the passing down work. Now that we have three names in this
2:21backfield, Joel, that is incredibly difficult. So, like let's say RJ Harvey is shelved for a little bit, but JK Dobbins does return. And by the way,
2:30apparently he's quote unquote good from this injury that he left the game with.
2:34Then he's going to get the carries between the 20s. We're not exactly sure what's going to work between the 10 and
2:39the 5 yard line and the goal line. And then yes, Jon would then operate in passing situations and maybe get some of
2:46the cool red zone stuff. And then we flip that like what if Dobbins then misses time, which we expect him to do
2:50at some point this year. Then R.J.
2:52Harvey gets the cool manufactured stuff in the red zone, gets all the passing down work, and then Jonah Coleman is kind of stuck with this inside the 20s
2:59grinder and maybe some short yardage situation. So to me, I'm not sure if we're ever going to get one of those
3:05moments that we got last year in like a six, eight game stretch where RJ Harvey had the entire backfield to himself.
3:11>> Yeah, I get that. I think the other side of it, a couple points would just be with Coleman a little bit more of the in
3:18between. then Dobbins is never going to catch the ball. Harvey wasn't the greatest. And the big thing for me is because the scene of Denver for the
3:28running backs is so good. Harvey last year wasn't the greatest NFL running back as we've talked about, but as a starter, he was the RB9. So, I don't
3:36think Coleman will get to the RB9 your fantasy playoffs. But I think if he is getting 50% of the work but still like
3:44has like maybe the dobins role but with a little bit more receiving prowess then he can be like oh you can play him in
3:50your flex and see if he takes over Harvey. See if they go down to injury see what happens there where he has a
3:56little bit of value. Not RJ Harvey in the fantasy playoffs but value.
3:59>> I think that's a really good point. And look everyone last year was talking about how JK Dobbins was on a career
4:05pace you know and was going to be the first running back. And by the way, this is one of my the craziest stats out
4:10there. The no running back under Shawn Peyton has ever hit 250 carries in a season. In his entire career coaching in
4:17the NFL, JK Dobbins was on pace to do that. And yet with all that baked in, >> I think he was still on pace to be like
4:24the running back 23 in points per, you know, so you have to have a little bit more than just the JK Dobbins role. And
4:31you outlining potentially that here for Jonah Coleman is notable. I also thought it was notable that barely playing or not playing a single snap in week one,
4:40then he was the trusted player to be on the field to grind it out in the final four minutes to basically win the game,
4:46he slid in bounds on that 12- yard carry on and 11. I mean, that that's the stuff that gets you in the good graces. And,
4:53you know, the difference in the offense that we saw in week one against, you know, the Chiefs versus week two against
4:59the Jaguars was notable. But this is something that we talked about last week too that if they have some stumbling blocks, the one change that they can
5:06make, it's not at wide receiver, it's not at tight end, it's to get Joe Coleman maybe a little bit more involved
5:11and as a spark. So I don't know if I have some running back issues, Joel, would like 30 35% of the Fab Dollars
5:18make sense here? I think so. Yeah. Yeah, I would say 30 35% especially Yeah. with those those running back issues or if
5:24you're just having if you have Dobbins, if you need more insurance on term, I think the second half of the season is
5:30where we can like look back on this and be like, man, I really wish I got Coleman. Let's talk another rookie
5:34running back. This one plays the Kansas City Chiefs. His name is Emtt Johnson.
5:39There's a lot to discuss here because Emtt Johnson looks incredible in let's say his small usage so far this season.
5:46Uh to the point that I think he is number one in force tackles. The only issue here, Joel, is that he's playing
5:52behind Kenneth Walker, who looks like the best running back in the NFL at this moment. Um, I think there's a lot of
6:00people wondering, and he's even getting questions, Andy Reid, of, hey, does this mean Emtt Johnson has earned more work and then what does that mean for K9? So,
6:08just overall, how were you approaching Emtt Johnson last week on the waiverwire and still right now because he's only rostered in 27% of Yahoos? Yeah, I would
6:18be more aggressive this week just with how these two weeks have gone and just the other running backs in this room. I
6:24don't think this is one of you like you don't need stats, Primma Johnson. You just watch the game and you're like, "Oh
6:29my gosh, he's so fun." So with Walker, he's getting a ton of work. We know the history of Walker. I think he'll be
6:35fine. He's just getting a ton of volume.
6:37And with them saying that, like, I don't necessarily care for like Emma Johnson's role right now. them saying like them being like, "Yes, he has earned more. We
6:47want to maybe give him a little bit more work and take a little bit off of Walker's plate." That doesn't worry me
6:52for Walker. It doesn't like hype me up to use Johnson now. But what it does mean to me is, oh, if Walker misses a
6:58game or two, >> Johnson is like a top 20 auto start with RB1 fantasy. Yeah. With RB1 fantasy potential. Like the ceiling is skyh high
7:07like skyhigh. They cut Amari D Marcato which early in camp it was like D Marcato is above Johnson. They take their rookies slow in Kansas City. Even
7:17their stars like Rasheed Rice, Tyreek Hill. So the fact that he's already week three and they're like, "Yeah, we need to get him more touches." That says a
7:24lot to me. Yeah, this one might not pay off in week three. Heck, it might not even pay off in in week 13. But EMTT
7:30Johnson and we've only seen him touch the football 14 times in his NFL career so far. But it is so evident that he has
7:37a juice that he has a tackle breaking ability that I will say if K9 misses a game or two or three that Emtt Johnson
7:43for me would be ranked as a top 12 runner in the NFL. I do want to point you to because Andy Reid was asked about
7:49this after last night's game. He said, quote, "I think EMTT will continue to get more snaps and that'll take a little
7:54bit off of the load off of Ken Walker III, but he wants that ball." Kenny does. He wants the ball every time and
8:02he's not asking to be relieved or anything else. But I think as it goes on, you get a nice balance with those
8:08two in there and then it keeps them even more fresh as the season goes on. So on paper, Joel, I drafted a ton of Kenneth
8:16Walker III. That might frighten me. But then you look at the actual numbers.
8:20He's averaging 31 a.5 opportunities per game right now. 23 and a half carries, eight targets. I would gladly take 25 opportunities per game from here on out.
8:31And if that gives an extra three, four, five touches to Emtt Johnson per game, that is totally fine with Yeah, it's
8:37something that doesn't really matter to me at all when I'm talking like value long-term in trades or anything like that. especially usually when players
8:44like lose touches to backup running backs to keep them fresh. It's just the between the 20 carries. So, it's not like super valuable.
8:51>> So, would you be even more aggressive if you drafted Ken Walker at the one two turn to get Emma Johnson or is this one
8:58of the players that no matter who was on your roster, you want to add Emma Johnson here?
9:03>> I want to add him no matter what. I think the answer would be more aggressive if you have Ken Walker
9:08because right now Walker was drafted where he was later second instead of earlier because of the injuries like that was really the only like big
9:17concern. So now when you have like such an answer in EMTT Johnson that we didn't really have pre-draft, I would be
9:23aggressive if I have Walker just to get that insurance.
9:26>> Yeah, I know a lot of people who watch this channel ended up with K9. I think I think Hayden had him 11th overall and I
9:31had him 13th overall when when draft season ended. Um I think I would even prioritize Emma Johnson ahead of Jonah Coleman. As crazy
9:39as that sounds, Joel, what would you say?
9:42>> If I had Walker, I think so. Yeah.
9:45>> Yeah.
9:45>> I think they're close. I think I would favor Coleman just on a regular team, but they're close. It's it's more I
9:53Coleman probably brings a bit more independent value, but then I could see Emtt Johnson being a true league winner if he gets the opportunity to do that.
10:01And that's the kind of the difference you have to weigh here with the waiverss.
10:03>> Okay, let's talk about another backup duo. We have to go to Philadelphia.
10:09Sadly, the other player that I drafted constantly in the one-two turn, Saquon Barkley, got banged up with a stinger on his first touch. He missed the majority
10:17of the game, came back after halftime, and then exited once again. That led us to Tank Bsby who's rostered in 29% of
10:24leagues out there and Will Shipley getting opportunities. So Shipley was out there for 24 passing snaps versus seven runs. Tank Big B was out there for
10:3314 runs and seven pass attempts. Joel is the most important piece of this information is we saw what the backfield split would be once Saquon went down and
10:43what would happen moving forward.
10:44>> Yes, I'd say so. And just it was very clear what they did where Bigsby was the guy on the ground, Shipley was the guy
10:51in the air. And as we all predicted, it was a neck-and-neck game between the Eagles and Titans. So there was a lot of
10:57passing actually compared to what the Eagles usually try to do. So the box score it kind of looks like more of a
11:03split, but if it's the Eagles usual game with their defense, with their run heavy style, it should be Bigsby as that RB1.
11:11The carries were 13 to7, but that was with Shipley getting the third down work. He had a ton more routes than Big
11:16Bsby. So, this isn't like an Emma Johnson situation where it's guaranteed volume for the RB2, but more of a split where I'd favor Bigsby.
11:23>> The biggest frustration of this is the Eagles can't freaking run the football right now. Like, if yards before contact is not a perfect metric, but it does a
11:31decent job. Okay? And if you look at of the 54 qualifying running backs out there for the first two weeks, Saquon
11:37Barkley ranks 53rd and Tank Bsby now ranks 44th in yards before contact per attempt. That is not good. And you know
11:44that's moving off of Lander Dickerson after week one and then now moving Cam Jurgens who left guard and having a new
11:51center. And sure they faced off against you know some formidable defensive tackles and Jeffrey Simmons in week two but I think that's the big concern here.
11:58Uh I was anticipating Eagles offense to get back to jelling and creating lanes and maybe that does happen in the future
12:07but it doesn't seem like Jolola that's like a turn the page to week three and week four and we name that down. And by
12:12the way, we don't even know if Saquon Barkley is is going to miss. He has a stinger. Uh he's getting an MRI, some
12:17imaging, and we'll find out more, I think, these next couple days. Let's jump to wide receivers. There's a bunch of names to hit on here. The first one
12:24is Trey Tucker of the Las Vegas Raiders.
12:26Rostered in 29% of leagues out there. Uh had gains of 42, 40, 50, 15, and 13 in this game. What' you see from Trey
12:37Tucker? What do you think people should do with Trey Tucker on the waiver wire?
12:40It's all positive comparing to week one.
12:42Same as some other guys we've talked about. I bet he was dropped in lots of leagues. So, I think he can have some
12:47value. Kubak, we know how explosive this passing offense can be in the deep passing game. They didn't have that in week one. He comes out week two. We need
12:54to do that. And they did. Even though I saw your clip on Twitter like Kurt Cousins using all of his might to get it
13:0140 yards downfield, but it it worked and he got it. So I think my comparison in fantasy in real life would just be 2024
13:10Rasheed Shahed on the Saints is what we're wanting.
13:14>> Deep got is not going to be consistent, but he'll have weeks where he has eight or nine targets and 100 yards and it can
13:20work on a fill-in basis.
13:22>> Joe, I love doing the show with you.
13:24We're on the same page here.
13:25Clint Kubak has been an aggressive downfield play caller in every stop that he's had and it's not like ahead of those stops that the New Orleans Saints
13:36or or the Seattle Seahawks were viewed as those explosive passing teams. And now in week one, obviously when they demolish their opponents, they didn't
13:46throw down the field, right? Um obviously then Clint Kubak went and told reporters, hey, we need the only way to do that is if we actually throw the
13:56ball, you know, and we actually heave it. And as you said, Kirk Cousins did that to the tune that Trey Tucker
14:01transformed from wide receiver 73 in week one, as you said, people might drop him up to wide receiver 6 this past
14:07week. So, I think this can continue a little bit. It's going to be high variance for sure and the he comparison
14:13is there, but there is no one else on this offense that can fulfill that type of downfield passing capability and receiving ability like Trey Tucker. You
14:22know, it's not Chris Olive is opposite him or Rashi on the Seattle Seahawks.
14:27And so, if that's the case with Kirk and then future with Fernando Mendoza, they're going to throw down the field.
14:32So, I really do believe that Trey Tucker should be a priority ad for a lot of you out there compared to a lot of the hey
14:39low ceiling and even inconsistent on top of that wide receivers that you might have drafted.
14:44>> Yeah. And I think there is a decent gap between him and Jaylen Naylor too from week one the first couple weeks.
14:50>> Yeah. I mean, seven of his eight targets were nine plus yards down the field deep post touchdown versus two high safeties.
14:56uh he only played I think 37 of 63 snaps, but most importantly it was 25 of 33 drop backs. So again, we're going to
15:03have these weeks where he scores as the wide receiver 50. We're also going to have some other weeks where he scores as
15:07the wide receiver 20. Guess what? That happens with every person that's the wide receiver, I don't know, 29 and beyond in in fantasy football right now.
15:16>> Yeah. Dantavan Wix is next. A name we talked about last week with the Philadelphia Eagles. He's opened the season as wide receiver 15 and wide
15:24receiver 26. He's still rostered in only 28% of Yahoo leagues out there. Joel is two games enough of a sample to say,
15:33"Hey, this is real. Let's buy in."
15:34>> It's a solid sample. I will say I if you told me that Mai Lemon was having a higher route share than Dantavian Wix, I
15:42would never think about picking Wix up because that was like the concern with Lemon.
15:46>> So Lemon hasn't lived up to his potential yet. I think he's a great stash as well. keep him on your rosters.
15:51But with Dantavian Wick still 73% route share, they might have to throw a little bit more like they did in week two
15:57because of this run game that you pointed out. And it's just a really good offense when they are throwing. A lot of
16:02times when the Eagles receivers aren't good, it's because they throw 20 to 25 times in a game and they don't hit that.
16:07But I would say like his week two five for 74 is a lot better for the future looking than like his two catch
16:14touchdown game in week one. So week two made me more confident. Yeah, I totally understand not starting Dantavian Wixs in week one. We we didn't know what to
16:22expect at all. Uh I think on this show and then obviously on other episodes that we do throughout the week mentioning the Tennessee Titans uh with
16:29his team favored and expected to score around 24 points. Yeah, you could fit him in there in your flex and then Joel,
16:35they face the Chicago Bears and that secondary here in in week three. Like if you have brought Dantavian Wixs onto your team already and you have some
16:44questions via injury or underperformers.
16:47>> Again, I think Wix is a totally fine flex play here in in week three. Over 70 yards in both games. Uh obviously he had
16:55a touchdown in week one, but as you said, he's basically playing the same amount of snaps as Mai Limon, albeit a
17:02couple less here, but Wix has drawn 10 targets. Mai Limon has drawn five targets. Wix has 147 yards and a touchdown. Mai Lemon only has nine total
17:12yards. And we're getting these corner routes. We're getting some inbreakers.
17:17He's living kind of in that intermediate section. Meanwhile, Mai stuff kind of seems closer to the line of scrimmage.
17:24So, I really like what I see out of this and I'm starting to buy in even more to this post hype sleeper season. Um, and
17:31maybe it's only the first half, but Joel, let's ride this thing for, you know, while we have it. And and for how
17:37much Wix is playing in an offense that has to be passed first now, uh, I think he's a totally fine play.
17:42>> Yeah. And not to mention like Mai, he has five targets. Most of those are right at the line of scrimmage as we
17:48know.
17:48>> Think you know which players are about to have a big Sunday? Put that fantasy football knowledge to work. Yes, we have

18:39one. He's open as wide receiver 38 and wide receiver 28 on the season. That's notable to me because he hasn't even
18:47scored a touchdown yet. Mhm.
18:49>> 12 targets this past week, six catches for 63 yards. So, he has at least again some consistency of 60 yards in both
18:56games to open the season. He's almost an every snap player, 41 of 50 dropbacks. I never quit him. And Joel, I'm excited.
19:05I'm going to talk about him again. Yeah, I think a lot of people are going to be talking about him over this next month.
19:10Like you said, he's playing a lot. I think Gino is a really good fit for him.
19:14Obviously, we talked about how Gino loves Adani Mitchell, but with the offensive line not get I know the defense haven't been great, but Gino
19:22hasn't been under pressure a lot. So, if they can keep that up, Gino has been the fifth lowest pressure rated quarterback
19:27in week one and two. Then, Adam Mitchell, that's when he gets his downfield targets. Like, he had 150 air yards this week. So, I think that's when
19:35those 12 targets become a lot more valuable because you can get him 12 targets because you have the time to throw those downfield shots. He's not
19:42getting these little quick targets. So, the fact that they can protect Gino is huge >> 100%. He had a couple drops in the
19:48weather and this was bad weather against the Green Bay Packers. He also did draw a 34 yard defensive pass interference down the field that obviously is not
19:56accounted for in a stats.
19:58>> Again, no touchdowns. So, we're getting some level of stability, a floor with the 60 yards in back-to-back games. And I want to point you to the schedule,
20:06Joel. Adnai Mitchell gets the Lions, the Bears, and the Browns defenses over the next three weeks, then a rough one against the Patriots, but then we're
20:15back with the Miami Dolphins right after that. So, I'm going to ask you, Adnai Mitchell only roster in 16%, Dantavian Wixs 28%, Trey Tucker 29%. Rank those in
20:27order. You can have a moment if you need to, but rank them in the order of priority of as you would add them on the
20:32waiver wire this week. I think Wix would be third still, >> especially with Lemon there and just that offense. Maybe nicer in the short
20:41term and with Goddard being injured right now.
20:44>> The top two are tough.
20:45>> Tough.
20:46>> I think I think Mitchell's my number one.
20:51>> I love it.
20:51>> And then Tucker.
20:53>> Yeah, >> I think Mitchell might be more consistent, which is so weird to say given his history, but I think he has
20:58the potential of being a more consistent guy week to week.
21:00>> I totally agree with you. I will put Anni Mitchell first in the list. I feel the Jets are locked into him as a two
21:08wide receiver set starter and then they'll, you know, move around Isaiah Williams and Kenan Sadi and whatever the slot player is. And so they're going to
21:15live with kind of the ups and downs of that and I mention heck they did in this pass game. And Joel, the reason why he
21:20hasn't had a single game yet above the peak of Wix or above the peak of Trey Tucker is only because he hasn't scored
21:27a touchdown yet. And so once he adds a touchdown onto this, heck, maybe that game has 30 yards, but then you add
21:33another six points onto it. So, yes, baking in the schedule, baking in the offensive line point that you made that that gives them some level of stability
21:41and protection and a platform to have success, adventure would still be the number one wide receiver ad for me this week, too. I I would go as far as like
21:5015, 20, 25%. Um, hold on to a good portion of that. I would hopefully try to around that 15% but at worst I think
21:57he could be your wide receiver five moving forward.
22:00>> Yeah. And final point, they haven't really been in pass heavy game scripts.
22:03So he's doing this in close games are winning.
22:06>> Love that. Let's talk Rashad Baitman because he had a huge week. Um 38 to 40 dropbacks he played and I mean the the
22:15counting stats were were absolutely incredible. I'm sure producer Weaves is throwing them on the screen right now as I pull them up on top of it. Seven
22:23catches, 88 yards, one touchdown. The route that he had, 22 yard touchdown, was a beauty. He gave the defensive back a head nod to the outside, cut it back
22:32inside, all that type of stuff. So, what are we saying? Is Rashad Baitman here to stay like we've seen about these other
22:38postight sleepers or are you kind ofware that this might be some fool's gold? I don't think it's fool's gold as long as
22:44Flowers is out. When Flowers I think it's a good sign for Flowers with just like how this offense is moving in this
22:49passing attack. But the reason I say that as long as Flowers is out is he is the clear number one that they trust in
22:55this passing game. I would say when we're looking at the other receivers, the next closest was right at like a 50%
23:00route share and you brought up how like Baitman was getting almost every single route. They talked all week about how they're going to use them in this game
23:07and get a lot of plays designed for him and we saw that and worked out really well. I trust this passing attack just
23:13with Lamar in this new offense.
23:15>> Totally. This team is very focused on their wide receiver one as we have seen with Z Flowers and then the wide
23:21receiver two is a bit of an afterthought. That's the role Baitman has been in. That's you know Jacobe Lane getting some targets when he was mixing
23:28in there. So I agree with what you're saying where at best this is a short-term ad. It sounds like Z Flowers
23:35is was close to playing this past week and hopefully can play again in week three. And if that's the case then, you
23:41know, Baitman is almost a wide receiver handcuff. But I mean, he looked good.
23:45Maybe this is one of those cases that this, you know, leads them to somehow someway incorporating a second wide receiver a bit more. But it's not like
23:55he he doesn't have a history with Lamar Jackson. He absolutely does. So to me, that's more of an outline of the offense
24:00that uh there's one figurehead at wide receiver and then like the tertiary pieces just have zero consistency on a weekly basis.
24:07>> Yeah. And I think at worst you can have him in weeks when this is projected to be a really high-scoring offense and
24:13like a 50point game total. I think you can work there with flowers still if you can just get him like six targets in
24:19this offense. Six targets can be really good sometimes.
24:21>> Let's talk Denzel Boston the rookie wide receiver of the Cleveland Browns. He has opened as the wide receiver 19 and the
24:29wide receiver 10 in back-to-back weeks.
24:32The problem absolutely none of you started him in either of those matchups.
24:36I mean, it it makes sense. He plays for the Browns. They've been underdogs. All that type of stuff. So, where are you at
24:41with Denzel Boston? Do we already like miss the two best games that we might have, or is this a rookie who's already
24:48starting hot and can continue something close to that moving pool? I think my answer is we've missed the two best games for now. I would not expect this
24:57in week three. probably not in week four or five, but I think down the line if there is like this rookie breakout in
25:03Cleveland that has a really big season, it looks like it's going to be him. He's running a lot more routes than KC and I
25:08think KC is fine for PPR leagues and has that potential too. But with these two blowup games, both of them came on like
25:15those really big touchdowns.
25:17>> Yes, Blake Whiteart has a touchdown. No one else does for the Browns. So, it's just like that one other receiving
25:23touchdown. So, he's gotten both of them there. But I think it's one of those where it's like, oh, I'm not chasing the
25:28touchdowns or chasing the points. It's just like, oh, it's a good sign that he's playing a ton and looks good. Maybe
25:34down the line that can turn into something more consistent.
25:38He's out there all the time. And so sometimes in garbage situations, as we saw in week one, that can lead to a
25:4546-yd touchdown with two minutes left when you're down 34 to three on the scoreboard. Now, this past week was all real to me. You know, seven targets,
25:53five receptions, 95 yards, and a score.
25:55They obviously beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He nearly had a second touchdown, but he couldn't hold on to it, secure it, get that second foot in
26:02bounds. He's winning. And this is the most important thing to me. He's winning exactly like he did at Washington in terms of creating that sliver of
26:10separation on the tight window targets and he has the defenders bouncing off of him after contact. I mean, the long catch and run this past week was like
26:18freaking sick, man. Now, who knows if Deshun Watson's now bought himself an extra week and he's the quarterback against the Carolina Panthers in in week
26:28three. Who knows what Shador Sanders looks like when he, you know, plays quarterback. But Denzel Boston, the talent should be rostered in at least
26:3850% of Yahoo Leagues, if not higher, Joel. So, the only thing that's keeping him down at this percentage at 32% is
26:45the environment and who he's playing around. And if that's the case, then he's definitely worth an ad to me and right around the same mark as I would
26:54put with Trey Tucker and Adnai Mitchell.
26:56>> Yeah, I think he can hit like Fannon did in the second half especially. Von was good like all year, but that was like a
27:01lot of that was with Sanders. I think if Sanders can get in here, they can drop back 40 times a game and just have a lot
27:06of those completions. I think Boston can really break out in the second half there. Let's quickly talk quarterbacks because we've had quarterback injuries
27:14to, you know, Jane Daniels. We've had some underperformers like Drake May.
27:19There's a lot to discuss here. Uh the two quarterbacks that I did want to bring up, Bryce Young rostering 33% of
27:26leagues and Tyler Shuck at 48%. Both play in the NFC South. Both are top three in passing yards out there and
27:35both might be, you know, surprising names as fantasy scorers through the opening two weeks of the season. Do you have a preference here or do you want to
27:42talk about either?
27:43>> I would. My preference would be Shock just with the volume with this offense.
27:47They are number one in pace this year.
27:48They are number one in pace last year.
27:50We've talked about the volume. That's what's most important for me looking at quarterback, especially waiver quarterbacks. It's like, all right, who's just getting a ton of volume? I
27:58don't think that's going to go away. At the same time, Bryce does have really good volume at least through these first
28:02two weeks. Their pass rate over expected is second highest to only Dallas, which we expect that from Dallas. We wouldn't totally expect that from Carolina. So
28:11they've just gone super pass heavy and their defense probably can help Rice Young in fantasy some weeks along the on the long way
28:19>> and they helped them this week by creating turnovers and and you know getting short fields and and all that type of stuff. We are actually talking
28:25about the quarterback two and the quarterback five in fantasy football at this moment. I mean that that is pretty amazing looking at the quarterback 6
28:31through 11 this past weekend. I think that's why many of you are feeling as if the you know fantasy scoring demons hit
28:38your lineups this week. Uh I I will put a you know point in Bryce Young's favor for this. Their schedule over the last
28:45two weeks can kind of mirror the schedule of the first two weeks. You know when they scored 37 and 34 points
28:50against the Browns and the Falcons, excuse me, the Bears and the Falcons because they get the Browns and the Lions over the next two weeks. So Bryce
28:58is, I think, a shortterm look that if you pick him up, you need to have it in mind that you'll probably start him over
29:05the next two weeks. it gets a bit more difficult after that with like Eagles and the Broncos and the Saints and the
29:11Ravens and all this type of stuff, but I buy into this team passing the football a lot more. I've spoken at length about
29:18it, so I won't do it again. And especially down the field passing and for as many games as we've had Bryce,
29:24Ted McMillan, and Jaylen Coker together, good things have really happened. So, I don't think this is a fluke necessarily and especially not a fluke against these
29:31weaker defenses. And they have another two weak defenses coming up. Yeah, I think that is the part to take advantage of. I feel less confident against those
29:39like top defenses to play Bryce, especially right now, but against those weaker defenses, he's been great. Okay, let's talk some deep cuts on 1% of Yahoo
29:47Leagues out there. Emanuel Wilson is on a roster. He now plays with Seattle Seahawks. Hopefully, you all know that he did play 29 snaps in this game
29:57compared to 24 for Jadarian Price and then 18 for George Hani. And I wanted to bring this name up. Obviously, I drafted
30:07a lot of Jadarian Price this year. Joel, if you just look at the box score, Emanuel Wilson, 21 carries, 92 yards.
30:14Jarian Price, 13 carries, 52 yards. What does that say to you? With the injury, I'm not too worried about because with
30:22Price leaving early. So, I think it's still going to be Wilson as just a short yardage in the way of Price like turning
30:30into greatness in fantasy. That's like the main concern for me is there is just like the very similar role that we have
30:35with Kenneth Walker last year. The red zone carries were four to three. A lot of that was just if they were first and
30:42five, like first and five from the goal line, it could be Jerian Price. But then once they got like two or three yards
30:47away and we just need a hammer, that's when they would go with Emanuel Wilson.
30:52>> So I kind of set you up that question and you nailed it. All right. Because I had the same read about Jarian Price
30:58exiting with the shoulder issue. His last touch was at 229 left in the third quarter. He landed on his shoulder after
31:06a tackle. Mike McDonald said, "So far it's just a slight injury. Not that big of an issue." um he only played one snap
31:14after that, but from then on, Emanuel Wilson had 14 carries for 21 yards. And so that's why the box score might lie to
31:22us a little bit with this. And hopefully this kind of doesn't continue in in that direction. But I am of the opinion that
31:30Jirean Price still looks like the best running back in this group. However, Joel, his box score would have looked a lot better if he got, I don't know, 10
31:37of those 14 carries in the fourth quarter. and we'd be thinking about him I think very differently heading into week three.
31:43>> Yeah, I agree too. I think his role has potential to grow where Walkers it was, oh maybe next week the role will be
31:52there. Oh, this is a good sign. This is a good sign. It just kept being good signs until Charban is back. I think
31:57there is like a legit chance that his role can continue to grow.
32:00>> Let's talk Khif Raymond 9% on rosters on Yahoo Leagues. We talked about him last week and again he ran the same number of
32:10routes as Uther Burton. He has posted wide receiver 21 and wide receiver 44 scoring so far. Another five for 40 on
32:18his plate in week two. Anything you want to add on to what we said about Raymond last week. He played a lot more of the
32:23two receiver sets than Burden. Looking at week one, it kind of flipped. So Adun was out there a lot more too. So that's
32:30part of it as well. But it was a lot of Raymond and Adun and those two receiver sets which was really important for the
32:36Bears because they run so much with Kamett and Lovelin both on the field and those two tight ends. It's interesting.
32:41I I think a lot of his production is due to who they have played in these opening two weeks. Like for the Panthers, their
32:49best part of their defense or their outside corners and so him working underneath over the middle makes sense, especially in zone. And then against the
32:58Minnesota Vikings, they muddy everything up in all the gaps and they play deep coverage in the back. And then if Caleb
33:05was smoother, didn't know where to go the football, he was the easy access player over middle the field. So Clemond is like the lowest of the ceiling
33:16players. It is fascinating to me how he is pulling snaps away from other players on this team. And maybe that's the most
33:22notable takeaway to me versus, hey, we need to add him because he is perfectly fine and has a history with Ben Johnson
33:29that I wonder how long that lasts for.
33:31Uh Antonio Williams, rookie wide receiver for the Commanders. He we talked about it. He scored as the wide receiver 14 on 12 routes in week one
33:40than the wide receiver 70 on 26 routes in week two. So Joel, we got fewer fantasy points, but a bump in usage. So
33:47what does that do to you? I'd be more excited if it wasn't for the Jay and Daniels injury. I'm really worried about
33:53Daniels and just like the length. I'm guessing it's going to be long term. So, with Mariota coming in, they went really
33:59he run heavy last season with Mariota when he was in there and you add in diggs. I don't think there is much of a
34:04reason to have him in reddraft if Daniels is out that whole time, but you're happy in Dynasty if you got it.
34:10And if you're rebuilding, if Daniels is out for the season or out for a really long time, think he's like a good buy
34:16for a rebuild team in Dynasty. So, there's been a lot of positive.
34:19>> I'll go some rapid fire here. Ted Hurst uh is playing a whole bunch of snaps as a rookie wide receiver for the Bucks. 29
34:25of 44 drop backs. That's the wide receiver three. This team lives out of 11 personnel. I will say a lot of his
34:31routes are just win sprints. They're clear outs for Eggbuka and Chris Godwin.
34:35Um although when they did return from the weather delay down four with 51 seconds, they open with three straight targets in his direction. They're all a
34:45bit too difficult. He has like this really really narrow margin of victory uh to like sideline grabs, tight window, all this type of stuff. But I'm not sure
34:54if this is really going to grow into let's say a valuable baseline target earner type player that we can depend on
35:03in fantasy football.
35:03>> Yeah, he has 10 targets this year and a 20 yard a dot. So kind of like you know Alec Pierce with the world. So it can
35:10work. There is a chance. I would watch out for Jaylen McMillan though.
35:13>> Yes. And Baker needs to be on fire, I think, for someone like Ted Hurst to like be a good asset for us.
35:19>> Yeah.
35:20>> Quickly, DJ Moore exited, we know on Thursday Night Football, he is considered dayto-day with an AC joint sprain, it looked a lot worse on the
35:26field. Josh Palmer, Keon Coleman are like 2% rostered out there. Uh, basically, if DJ Moore comes back and if he plays, Joel, these guys aren't worth
35:34your time.
35:35>> Yes. Yeah. If I had to choose one, I would choose Coleman.
35:38>> Okay. Laquan Treadwell. I actually do want to bring up his name because Alec Pierce went down very quickly and once
35:45Alec Pierce went down, Lacoan Treadwell played 27 of 35 dropbacks.
35:51That was basically more than Keenan Allen. They don't want Keenan Allen to be out there in two wide receiver stats as an outside wide receiver for this
35:57team. And Keen Allen is probably going to be suspended for a handful of games.
36:00So Joel, in the year of 2026, Laquan Treadwell really might be in our lives as a heavy heavy snap count player and
36:09just because of that and because of how often the Colts throw the ball, he's going to get targets in this offense.
36:15>> Yeah, I think if unless it's a really deep league, I think I'll pass. I think he might be in an 11-year bet now. I am
36:21rooting for him. Last night I was like >> my the empathy came out when he fumbled.
36:26Oh my gosh, I was going to feel so bad.
36:28I was going to feel so bad. So, like, thank god he didn't fumble, but I'll pass him on fantasy. It does give me a
36:33lot of hope for Josh Downs, though. So, Josh Downs, Tyler Warren, a little bit bump, but I'll pass on Treadwell. Tight
36:38ends, Darren Waller, 3% of Yahoo Leagues. Uh, he's playing on 22 of 40 dropbacks just quickly on him. He's an asset for this team in the red zone. He
36:47should have had a touchdown in in week one that was cleared and and ruled out by a bogus OPI. Then he had two in week
36:55two. Um, what they do is they put T-Mac and Jaylen Coker on one side of the field and then Darren Waller on the
37:01other and make the defense read and cover the full field. And that's just tough to do. Like, hey, you're going to
37:06account for these two wide receivers or you're going to get isolated coverage for Darren Waller as he's winning in man coverage on the other side. So, that's a
37:13big asset in your tight end premium leagues. And then I'll even bring up Joel Aronda Gadston. Charlie Kohler played 42 snaps, then he exited with an
37:21arm injury. David and Jooku played 11 snaps. He had carded off with, I believe, a knee injury. So then Arande Gadston, who was buried on the depth
37:29chart because he can't block, popped up for 18 routes, excuse me, 15 routes on 31 drop backs and had a touchdown on top
37:36of it. So again, the blocking has been a major issue in all facets for the Chargers. Aronda Gatson still an awful
37:43blocker, but at some point they also need someone who can catch the football, and Gaton can do that.
37:46>> Yeah. And he had multiple games last week or last year that were really good.
37:50So, I think with especially Lad banked up a little bit, I think Gatson can have a real role here as a receiving tight
37:57end.
37:57>> The Chargers are an absolute mess. Okay, here's your drop list quickly. And I'm not saying go out and definitely drop
38:04some of these players. However, weigh in your head, the positivity we said for some versus the lack of importance and if these
38:14players even exist in your fantasy mind when you're debating if you should start them in your lineup or not. Hey, would
38:19you rather have the guy that we hyped up and we talked about? Would you be more amped to start them versus these, you
38:28know, just terrible, terrible picks that you made? Okay, the first is Kenny Gainwell. 74% of leagues he's rostered in. He has 5.3 total points so far. Get
38:36rid of him. Chris Rodriguez, he's at 3.6 through two weeks. Joel, I know you've looked into this. The Basel Tootin stuff
38:42has been fantastic in the first two weeks despite a difficult matchup in week two. And most notably, Tuton is the one that got the Wildcat carry inside
38:51the 5yd line, and Chris Rodriguez was sidelineed.
38:53>> Yeah, the split grew actually a lot. The touches were basically the same, but Tuten played a lot more snaps this week
38:58than he did last week.
38:59>> Katon Mitchell has 5.3 points through two weeks. He's kind of just a bit light to me. And if really Mike McDaniel's not
39:07really working as a play caller, then the theory of the play of Katon Mitchell just being kind of this undeniably fast
39:13player that is schemed to open all these touches, that also doesn't work either.
39:18Um Marvin Harrison Jr. was drafted in 90% of Yahoo Leagues out there and he has 3.8 points through two weeks. Joel, what
39:25are you doing?
39:27>> It's tough. I think he's still worth a bench spot and you got to like hope for something. But they have played two
39:33teams that have played against a t or play a ton of zone coverage. So if you want like an excuse like there's your
39:39excuse. Marv had one of the biggest differences last year in targets versus man versus zone and Chargers Seattle just played a ton of zone
39:48>> at best. Marvin Harrison Jr. is an average football player. I think Michael Wilson's a better wide receiver. We know that Trey McBride is one of, if not the
39:56best tight end in football. You are not playing Marvin Harrison Jr. on your team against the 49ers the next two weeks and
40:02probably not the Giants either to be honest. After that though, it is the Lions. So, you have to pick your spot if
40:09you want Marvin Harrison Jr. to be in her lineup. And again, compare that to what we talked about the consistency of
40:14Adnai Mitchell or whoever else. So, weigh that in your mind with this Courtland Sutton. This is a player who's getting squeezed in two directions in
40:22that you have Jaylen Wadd as the big play primary pass catcher Joel and then you also have Pat Bryant who they're
40:29manufacturing touches for and is kind of the younger version of this. So his 6.1 points despite being drafted in 83% of
40:35leagues. I don't know what Courtland Sutton would do for me.
40:38>> Yeah, like wide receiver handcuff in a way and it's just hard to ever predict when he's going to have a good week.
40:44He's going to have good weeks. I just have no idea when it's going to be.
40:47Yeah, he's like really turned into I think a touchdown or bust player. Uh because he's just not going to get as
40:53much volume as he did over the last couple of seasons. QJ only has 4.6 points. That's a QJ problem. He's just
40:59dropping passes out there. Uh and again, if the Chargers offense doesn't work, then QJ has enough individual warts to him that he's also not going to work. Um
41:08and then I do want to bring up Drake May. I talked to Drake May. I would not drop him, but Joel, I would look for
41:13alternatives. Like we talked about Bryce Young, we talked about Tyler Shuck. Um the might be slim pickings out there, but Drake May is getting to a point that
41:23he's not on fire like he was last year.
41:26And we were hoping that the AJ Brown addition would kind of take this passing offense to the next level. And him being
41:32on injury reserve for at least the next three games doesn't leave me for a lot of hope for Drake Knight.
41:38>> Yeah, the Diggs absence now like means something now that they don't have AJ Brown. So the weapons aren't there. I
41:44think he can get there rushing fine and with his offense fine, but he is more of a match dependent play, which is not
41:50really what you want for I think he was drafted third or fourth among quarterback.
41:54>> Yes. I mean, he gets the Jaguars and the Bills over the next two weeks. So, it's it's again not one of these players that
42:00you just set it and forget it at quarterback. I kind of think you need to weigh some of your options uh if the
42:05matchup makes sense. And then finally, I would hold off on dropping any Atlanta Falcons out there. I know a lot of you
42:12just want to flat out drop Kitt. He'd be most likely for me. Obviously, you're not moving Drake London. No one wants
42:17him or Bejian Robinson, but it sounds like Michael Penn is going to start this Thursday. And Joel, it's, you know, a
42:24big deal when we think it's a big deal that Michael Penn is going to make this offense even better.
42:28>> Yeah, I've been a dead horse on the difference between Penn and these other quarterbacks for so many reasons. He's not the greatest quarterback in the
42:35world, but for London, he is perfect.
42:38He's perfect for Drake London.
42:40All right, that does it for us. We just need that Falcons offense to be like not the worst. Just be below average and
42:47some of these guys, like two of them, can get there on a weekly basis. Uh Joel, thank you. You can follow all of
42:52Joel's work, social media, all of it will link in the description down below.
