Antonio Williams

PositiveRole0:43

Antonio Williams, a Washington Commanders wide receiver, can play Z or F (outside or inside) and has a clear path to playing time as the team's wide receiver two or three, especially with the uncertainty around Brandon Aiyuk.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:44

Antonio Williams is ranked ahead of Omar Cooper Stribling and Denzel Boston, with a clear path to playing time and likely to be the team's number two or three wide receiver throughout training camp.

Insight page

Chris Bell

PositiveValue0:41

Chris Bell, a wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins, fell 50 spots further than expected due to an ACL injury, but is a long-term investment with clear talent and fits well in Bobby Slowik's offense with crossing routes and over concepts.

Insight page
NegativeValue0:42

Chris Bell fell 50 spots further than expected in the draft, which makes the analyst nervous that there could be something else going on beyond the ACL injury.

Insight page

Chris Braswell

PositiveBreakout0:57

Chris Braswell, a wide receiver from Tennessee, is a dart throw with massive size at 6'4" 200+ lbs, huge catch radius, and elite speed, with the highest odds of outproducing his draft capital despite the lowest floor.

Insight page

Emmett Johnson

PositiveRole0:53

Emmett Johnson is a change-of-pace running back for the Seahawks who will beat out Breashad Smith and could get the first crack at goal-line carries if Kenneth Walker misses time.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:54

Emmett Johnson has awesome underlying metrics in missed tackles forced and avoiding negative runs due to nifty footwork, but lacks juice and explosion to make big plays after the first person miss.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveRole0:40

Jonah Coleman, a Broncos running back, can play on third down with pass protection skills and has a running style compared to JK Dobbins, appearing to be a JK Dobbins succession plan or injury insurance rather than a primary back.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:40

Jonah Coleman is an intriguing running back prospect who will likely accumulate fantasy points and project to be on the field in dynasty leagues, though without huge ceiling upside due to Sean Payton's rotation of running backs.

Insight page

Kaelon Black

PositiveRole0:51

Kaelen Black, the third running back taken, is the best pass protector in the draft and will be active on game day for the 49ers, penciling in as the backup running back and RB2.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:51

Kaelen Black will likely get replaced by Shanahan's latest running back preference, but could get starts if Christian McCaffrey gets banged up or if this is McCaffrey's last season with the team.

Insight page

Maxx Williams

PositiveValue0:45

Max Williams, a tight end for the LA Rams, is ranked a full round ahead of his ADP (206 vs 304), as he is a good tight end prospect on a good team despite the Higbee and Parkinson competition.

Insight page

Mike Washington Jr.

PositiveRole0:50

Mike Washington Jr. is clearly the backup running back to Ashton Jeanty and has the most upside among backup running backs, with long speed and elite athleticism that would make him an immediate starter if something happens to Jeanty.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:51

Mike Washington Jr. caught 28 passes at 223 lbs and is an elite athlete who would rank as a top 25-ish running back if something happens to Jeanty, with potential to be even higher in 2-3 years if Fernando Mendoza hits.

Insight page

Oscar Delp

PositiveRole0:47

Oscar Delp, a Saints tight end, is an inline blocker who will stay on the field in two tight end sets, differentiating him from Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant who are move and receiving options.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:48

Oscar Delp is a 4.48 speed guy with an almost 39-inch vertical at 245 lbs who can block well and will get on the football field, with untapped receiving upside despite being unranked and 2,288 overall on Sleeper.

0:00I promise you one thing that this Dynasty Rookie Rankings video would be different than everyone else's out there. Look, there's plenty of them,
0:08lists, videos, all that type of stuff.
0:09But for multiple reasons, including that this class was all over the place, my view on the top 36 rookies for your
0:17Dynasty Rookie drafts will be very, very different. I mean, Hayden, we know about the tight ends on day two. Also, just 12
0:24running backs were taken overall compared to 25 last year. Again, scouring the web, uh I think opinions are all over the place this year. I will
0:32I will say one thing about the Dynasty community, and I obviously agree up in the analytic streets. I will say the
0:37Dynasty streets are so analytics heavy that there could be a like bias of everything is only filtered through analytics, which obviously I very much
0:45value. But if everyone's using that, I do think that there could be some blind spots with some other types of players.
0:51And if we think that there's some truth to the film or the context around some something that the analytical profile is
0:57not going to be hit on, I do think in a bad class this is just kind of one of the spots where I would be zagging a
1:02little bit more than I typically do just because everyone kind of thinks the same. 100%. You led me right to my next
1:08point, which is I'm not going to be talking about my model, you know? I'm more going to be talking about what my
1:13eyeballs tell me, how they fit in with these teams, going through all these press conferences and and coach speak, and obviously using some underlying
1:19metrics as we did in all the prospect profiles here on the channel leading up to the draft. But I can't wait for this.
1:25I do want to say before we get started, after the opening nine picks, it is the year of take your guys. You know? That's
1:31how I'm going to rank them. I'm going to rank them as my guys. But if you can do anything to either move your second
1:36round or third round selections over into 2027 and 2028 picks, do that. Or package a whole bunch of them to move up
1:43into the top nine overall selections, but many of you can't because you are also your league mates are watching this content at the same time. So here we go.
1:53The top 36, Hayden, in a tier by himself. This is Jeremiah Love as the 101. He's the 101 out there in every
2:00single platform. Um I think it's worth looking at Bijan's rookie season, you know, share the backfield with Tyler Allgeier about 1,000 total yards. Uh
2:08obviously Tyler Allgeier is running mates here with Jamar Love in Arizona as well, but uh this could either be an amazing rookie season as we have seen
2:17with some other guys in the past, but also don't be surprised if it's a bit of a slow start because of the environment
2:22in Arizona and also with the Allgeier and James Conner factor. You said you don't have a model, I do have a model.
2:27He was a 99th percentile running back prospect once we got the draft capital in there. Uh compares to Saquon, Zeke, Christian McCaffrey, Reggie Bush, Melvin
2:34Gordon, Ashton Jeanty, Darren McFadden, Bijan Robinson, Todd Gurley, Adrian Peterson, and Jonathan Taylor. All studs. Uh during their rookie seasons, that cohort averaged 14.3
2:44half PPR points per game. That would have been like the RB12. Uh some of them busted out, some of them were awesome
2:50players. I think it's an okay landing spot. It's not the best, it's not the worst. I do trust him more than I did
2:56Jeanty last year just because he catches the ball so much better. Um and then the offensive line is probably a tier ahead
3:02of what the Raiders were dealing with uh last year. So, he's going to be like my RB8 for this year and he's easily I mean
3:08this is a no-brainer the top guy in dynasty. Uh Bijan in 2023 in 17 games had 976 rushing yards, four scores. Uh and in
3:18terms of receiving, 58 receptions, another 487 yards, and four touchdowns.
3:24Would you take the higher or lower on Jamar Love uh surpassing that? Uh I'll take the higher. I do think that there's
3:30a chance that Allgeier uh gets in there a little bit uh at the goal line just like we saw with Bijan, but I think for
3:35the most part they're going to force him the ball all season long. Yeah, look, I I don't think the Cardinals are going to
3:40be good, but I I think a Jacoby Brissett, Trey McBride, Michael Wilson, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Jamar Love offense is uh definitely worth watching
3:49on on a weekly basis. Okay, I have five players in my tier two.
3:54Uh and I'm going to treat these as super flex. Uh so for me I have Fernando Mendoza as the second overall player. Um if we look at Sam
4:03Darnold in this Clint Kubiak offense last year, he actually finishes the quarterback 25. He feels much higher than that. 15 points per game. Again,
4:10that was even with JSN. Uh if you want to look at like the peak outcome here, I'm not saying he's athletic or as as
4:16athletic as as Justin Herbert for example, but Herbert finished last year as quarterback 11, 18.7 points. Hayden, that's kind of the range that I'm
4:25thinking of with Fernando Mendoza, 19 fantasy points down to about 15 fantasy points per contest. And I just believe he's a really freaking good prospect uh
4:34in a growing environment. Uh and I would rather take that versus maybe a non-tier one wide receiver in this class. Yeah,
4:42if you need another starting quarterback, you have to take Fernando Mendoza over these rest of these guys.
4:46He's 95th percentile prospect in my model. He actually like the more I thought about this, he reminds me of Big Ben, like super tough. Uh the prime
4:54version of Big Ben was running around a little bit. I think that Mendoza can do that. I think that over time his like
4:59full field read abilities will get better. He just seems like the total man, totally dedicated for all the stuff. And um
5:06I didn't I think the Raiders are they had a good draft just in general. So I I can kind of see them uh steering the
5:11ship a little bit here. So I I'm with you. He would have been my second player. Maybe in full PPR, if you don't
5:16have wide receivers and you already got quarterbacks, sure, but he was the guy I kind of went to in these like blind
5:21rankings. Yeah, I wanted to ask you about that scenario. Let's say you have you know, two solid starting quarterbacks. And look, this is
5:29anecdotal, but even in my leagues, it's really become really difficult to move quarterbacks in super flex dynasty formats.
5:35Um would you take Fernando Mendoza there or would you rather go with one of these wide receivers that was drafted in round
5:41one? Uh I would rather go with Fernando Mendoza. I think if you have two awesome quarterbacks, then sure, but like you
5:46said, it's so hard to trade for quarterbacks. There's a reason for that.
5:49Plus their shelf life is a little bit longer and there's there's to me like no way for Emeka Egbuka bust. Like he he
5:56just has so many traits. He's so trusted.
5:59Um there's enough of a supporting cast there with Brock Bowers and Cade Klubnik that I feel decent about uh Emeka Egbuka. I I will say you might not get
6:09that many fantasy points in September, but I think for dynasty we don't we shouldn't care about that. No, that's very true. I mean, I think over on
6:15Underdog, they set the higher or lower in terms of his starts this season at seven and a half. I'll take the higher
6:21on that. I'm going to take the higher on that for for sure. Yeah, and even these more pocket quarterbacks and look, Emeka
6:26Egbuka does have some uh athleticism to him, some mobility to him. You can get some peak seasons. Like I think Trevor Lawrence was the
6:32quarterback seven in points per game this past season. And those are like hey, if you get four, five, six rushing scores inside the 10-yard line, that
6:40catapults you from that quarterback 11 status into the top seven, top six quarterback status. Okay, next for me it's Quentin Johnston, Tennessee Titans.
6:48This one is quite simple. Uh he was my wide receiver one. He was drafted as wide receiver one. He is going to be the
6:54Tennessee Titans wide receiver one. Uh it's going to be exciting to see Cam Ward. I I think in a stable offense with
7:00Brian Daboll. Uh and like the peripheral pieces that they have around here in signing Wan'Dale Robinson and having a Gunner Helm and
7:08somewhat of a veteran obviously in in Calvin Ridley and Cam Akers DK and all that type of stuff. Quentin Johnston to
7:14me just has the ability with his technique and the vertical stuff and the breaking routes in the intermediate portion that he
7:21should be ranked as the number one wide receiver in this class. Yeah, that he was a little bit nitpicked here. I think
7:25the analytical profile's scaring some people off, but I'm looking at a five-star recruit from the IMG Academy, snuck onto the field at Ohio State early
7:32on. This last year 72nd percentile yards per team pass attempt. He's a 21-year-old early declare. He was splitting time with pretty much Julio
7:41Jones in at Ohio State Uh and even with all of that he was still the 92nd percentile once you adjust for team
7:48strength and age in my model even higher than that when you include the draft capital. I think there's a chance he can
7:54turn into like a DeAndre Hopkins style player where yes, there's some downfield intermediate abilities cuz of his his hands. There also could be more target
8:02volume than people are assuming just because he's he's not going to be he's not going to have Jeremiah Smith and I
8:07think if you look at the Titans they just invested Wandale Robinson uh multiple years. He's going to be the long-term number two. They already have
8:13a three and a four that they just drafted and they just drafted their quarterback.
8:18I think the rest of like his rookie contract is largely going to be just what he has this year. They're going to
8:23build up the the trenches. I doubt they're going to draft another wide receiver this high for the next couple years. So I think Tay is just going to
8:29start dominating here and I wouldn't be surprised if he's a downfield only receiver like that becomes really stupid very early on in this rookie season. Uh
8:37it's funny you just mentioned I doubt that they draft a rookie wide receiver here in the next couple years. A thought
8:43did cross my mind of the Tennessee Titans not being great in 2026 for being around all the other teams that need a
8:50quarterback drafting in the top five six and then they also just add Jeremiah Smith to this team. But we'll we'll cross that bridge
8:57once we get there. I did love that Mike Vrabel said that Kyle Philips is going to move all around the formation which
9:01is exactly what we want to hear with the number one passing weapon on an offense.
9:05Okay. My second wide receiver and I would call him the 104 is Jordan Addison of the New Orleans Saints. Again, Kellen
9:13Moore got on the mic said quote we will have home bases for all these guys but we're also able to move them around in
9:18every spot. It was interesting he told an anecdote that when Jordan Addison visited the Saints that he had a sit-down conversation with Chris Olave
9:26and I love that. I mean these two could not bounce each other better you know in terms of Olave is a downfield threat and
9:33Jordan Addison has this multi-breaking route intermediate some comeback some in-breakers all that type of stuff. And so, while there's some obvious, I think,
9:40red flags in Jordan Addison's profile, not just you know, his injury history, but I would say his yards after catches abysmal, I also think Kellen Moore is an
9:48awesome coach where this offensive line has four very strong investments in it.
9:53I would say strong in three places. Um and then you have, you know, Tyler Scott in the second half of his season, and
9:58then again, a very good balance between their wide receiver one and wide receiver two. Yeah, I think this is a fragile 104, but it's the correct 104. I
10:06think the landing spot is is pretty decent. I I kind of believe in the Tyler Scott stuff where he can at least be uh
10:12functional for Kellen Moore, who I do think is a good coach. The offensive line is in good shape as well. And then
10:17like I just said with Tate, I don't think that the Saints are going to be keep drafting uh wide receivers. They
10:22just drafted a tight end. He's a blocking guy. Uh they have Deonte Harris. He's going to be a low volume guy always. And then obviously, they're
10:28going to pay Chris Olave a bunch of money. So, like this is going to be the setup for Jordan Addison for a very long
10:32time. And he does have like the special upside case if I think he can kind of clean up some of these issues and maybe
10:38show more yards after the catch ability.
10:41Like he kept sliding in college. I do wonder now that he's, you know, got the NFL money if he's going to start uh you
10:47know, fighting for more extra yards over the middle there. But uh inside outside versatility, that's kind of like been the story arc with all these Kellen
10:54Moore type of wide receivers. And it's should be in good shape.
10:58Yeah, and they traded away Rashid Shaheed last year. So, it's I think impossible to copy-paste the wide receiver two on the Saints team uh from
11:042025 and then 2026. All you have to do is look at Kellen Moore signing with the Philadelphia Eagles and what he did with
11:10A.J. Brown and and DeVonta Smith here.
11:12Uh speaking of the Philadelphia Eagles, my fifth overall player in your dynasty rookie drafts is Malachi Lemon. Uh I mean, Eagles have traded up in six of
11:20the last eight years, last eight drafts in round one. They did it here to get ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers for
11:26Malachi Lemon. And come June 2nd, he's going going the wide receiver two on the team. And I think a pretty drastic
11:32drop-off after that when we talk about the veteran in Hollywood Brown and then the traded Dontavian Wicks. And what McConkey does so well is his feel for
11:41zone coverage and spacing and just in terms of all the defenders around him.
11:46He stays like away from their target range and where they can, you know, get him off of his route. And then in man
11:51coverage, he twists and turns these cornerbacks.
11:55And then after the catch, he's like a bowling ball or pinball. He he bounces off them and creates stuff on his own.
12:00So, it's a very different body type, I would say, than what A.J. Brown brought to the table.
12:04But, this is a plug-and-play, very, very smart on-the-field player in McConkey.
12:10Really loved what McConkey did at USC.
12:12He's an excellent prospect. The Eagles stole him from the Steelers there at 20th overall.
12:18My only questions here would just be Okay. the history of the Eagles wide receiver two. Like, Smith and A.J. Brown are total, total maniac studs in ways
12:27that McConkey we hope he can turn into that, but most likely he's not going to get to that. And those guys are barely
12:33holding on for like wide receiver three life, even when the Eagles were Super Bowl contenders. Like, do you think Weren't they Weren't they Weren't they
12:39Woah, woah, weren't they like both top-24 scoring wide receivers when the Eagles have been at their best, like with Kellen Moore and Shane Steichen?
12:46But, that's what I'm saying. Like, we had like two absolute superstars winning Super Bowls. And like, they That was like kind of the upside. And there was a
12:51lot of stretches where DeVonta Smith was like unstartable for for a lot of this.
12:55And I I absolutely love DeVonta Smith.
12:57So, my question to you would be is the Eagles offense is going to look a lot different now that they have a new
13:02OC over there. And then how long do you think Jalen Hurts is going to be around?
13:06Saquon Barkley's going to be around. All that type of stuff. Like, that's where I think the McConkey Lemon stuff you could
13:11possibly get stuck. But, in this class, like I I don't want to overthink this.
13:14Like, he's if he's not fifth, he's sixth or seventh. He's in this range for sure.
13:17It's just I was looking around like, man, like there's some like years where DeVonta Smith like was you couldn't even play him. And that's crazy cuz of how
13:23good he was. I I think some fairness there. I would also add in the years you couldn't play Devonte Smith, I would
13:30assume their offensive coordinators were Kevin Petullo and Brian Johnson.
13:34And then the really good seasons that we've had with the two wide receivers there in Philly, it was Shane Steichen and it was Kellen Moore. And so we don't
13:41know what Shawn Manny Shawn Mannion is going to be, right? Can he extract from Jalen Hurts the ability, the willingness to trust him, trust the players around
13:50him and attack the middle of the field more often, you know? Stop limiting the playbook, stop only throwing these certain routes from certain formations
13:57and never going under center and all that type of stuff. And if he can, then Shawn Mannion's probably on track to be
14:03an NFL head coach because the two that did it before him in Steichen and Kellen Moore have gone on to do that. But
14:09again, if he's closer to the Johnsons and the Petullos, then we have some real frustration. But I guess my top-down view is
14:16we know everyone, we know you're trading away A.J. Brown and adding someone like Mecole Hardman still keeps the Super Bowl window open, whereas if they didn't
14:24select him, then I would have concerns about where the offense could go. Yep.
14:28Mecole Hardman's a stud, especially like full PPR, like his type of profile is like how you get fantasy points. Okay.
14:34This disagrees with consensus because most have him in tier three, but I'm going to put Casey Conception also here in tier A as the sixth overall player.
14:43And this is why. This is not 2026. This is why he's also at the end of this tier. But I simply believe that Todd
14:51Monken wants to build his passing attack around someone like Casey Conception. I mean, a beat reporter asked him how comparable is he to Zay Flowers? And
15:01Todd Monken said, "Love Zay Flowers.
15:03He's awesome. Casey can do a lot of these same things, but Casey Conception's also 6 ft 200 lb. Let's not forget that."
15:11Uh I also think Todd Monken, you could make a case if you're looking at the depth chart, that oh man, this is kind
15:17of a crowded wide receiver room. It's Conception, it's Denzel Boston who we'll will about here in a moment, it's Jerry Jeudy, Cedric Tillman, Isaiah Bond, all
15:24this type of stuff.
15:25Todd Monken told you to forget about all that stuff. He looked at the depth chart and said, "I don't want any of you. I'm
15:31going to rework it in one off-season."
15:33And his first-round pick? Casey Concepcion. And I can't wait to see him.
15:38Great releases, great routes, great run after the catch. And if your biggest fear is drops, guess what? He's going to get a whole bunch of targets, so he's
15:46going to have some drops. That's not going to keep him off the field here at all. I I love this. He would easily be
15:51in this tier for me. I actually had him ahead of Lemon in my own rankings. I think we're looking at this pretty
15:56short-sighted with the the just the target competition. I think Casey Concepcion is like a special prospect and he's going to run away with this and
16:05Jerry Jeudy's going to be there for the next year, but after that, not necessarily tied to him and I think that
16:11Denzel Boston I liked him, but I didn't like him like in a huge volume role in the way that I could see Casey
16:17Concepcion getting there. And then Yeah, it's a bad quarterback situation now, but if they Right. that could always change really quickly here. So
16:25I just loved him as a prospect, so I would keep him in this tier for sure and I think him versus Lemon like the more I
16:31thought about it, it was like almost a toss-up for which one I liked more.
16:34Yeah, again, get your guys this year. If you want to go in that direction, go in that direction and he's not going to
16:40probably score as many points as Micale Lemon or he might in 2026, but this team is just adding so much draft capital
16:48that they're going to have a new quarterback next year. It really is that simple. So are we going to have to live through a
16:53Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders year?
16:54Yeah, unfortunately, we are. But just play for the future and Casey Concepcion is an unreal talent in our eyes.
17:03All right, before we go anywhere else, this week is rankings week before we take a couple weeks off. So later on,
17:08running backs, wide receivers, tight ends, quarterbacks to get you ready for obviously the launch of Best Ball Mania, but also just a summer of drafting.
17:16So hit that subscribe button. We have always, you know, incredible content this summer ahead of your fancy drafts and your fancy football season, and we
17:24want to be the place for you to get the content. So, leave a thumbs up on this video uh and hit subscribe. All right,
17:30next here for me kicks off with Zach Charbonnet Price, Seahawks running back. Um I know he has round one draft capital,
17:38but he also has a very different profile than other round one profiles in the past. Plus, he's the 32nd overall player. Like, this is truly the running
17:46back two from his team, and while you and I liked his vision and how he makes cuts on the fly and how he marries his
17:54eyes to his feet, uh I think there are some real concerns about him being like true three-down player, even if like the
18:02again first-round draft capital would say he's going to be an every-down player because he wasn't utilized that way at Notre Dame. We know about
18:09Jeremiah Love. And also, the Seahawks have shown that they want a two-back system, and they have the guys like Emanuel Wilson and George Holani to fill
18:17in for until Zach Charbonnet comes back maybe mid-season. So, while there's no doubt in my mind Zach Charbonnet Price is going to see the most carries when
18:24healthy on the Seattle Seahawks, uh I just couldn't move him any further than this. Yeah, so I am with you on the
18:30price uh just pre-draft. Like, wasn't my favorite prospect. I think there was a a wide range just because he was efficient, but he was obviously
18:38splitting time there. I think that we have you have to really extrapolate he's going to be a pass catcher, but there's
18:42a chance that he could do that. Um I will say I do really like him in fantasy. I mean, this is a pretty
18:48beautiful like I I I would have him in the same tier as the guys above him personally.
18:54Zach Charbonnet, this is his fourth season. There's no fifth-year option for him, so this is the last year of his rookie contract. I'm assuming they're
19:00going to resign him, but uh he's probably not going to come back to the football field until like the earliest would be like week 12. It almost could
19:07be a full redshirt season, and then Charbonnet is going to be up for free agency. If in the meantime Zach Charbonnet Price just goes ham here,
19:14we're looking at a, you know, for first-round running back prospect who's on the Super Bowl defending team, a well-run organization with a great
19:23defense. Like I think that he's going to get the ball plenty here. So, like the more I thought about the Charbonnet stuff, it's like,
19:28man, like what if Charbonnet is like never the same or like Judarian Price in the meantime just kind of runs away with
19:34this? I think it's it's a a coin flip if that actually does happen, but a running back a starting running back on a rookie
19:40contract on a team that's really well run is like pretty dang valuable in fantasy. So, I kept grading this more towards like the optimistic side. Um,
19:48okay. I'll move him up to the next tier then. I I hear what you're saying. I still have some skepticism that
19:53Seattle's immediately just going to turn into a one-back system because they could have done that with Kenneth Walker last year. As we saw the playoff run was
20:01exceptional. They probably should have done that a bit more often. But they didn't. Like I really think that they want multiple backs who touch the ball
20:07and have a different roles and all that type of stuff. Yeah. But I you know, looking at the rest of my list and this
20:13next tier is very small. I agree with you that he should be in this grouping rather than the next two, which we can
20:19just call Frank Reich's dudes for 2026.
20:23Cravings aren't just about nicotine.
20:25They're about the habit, the hand-to-mouth motion, oral fixation, the momentary pause. When the loop is broken, cravings spike. Fume replaces your habit with a flavored air fidget
20:36device that gives your hands and mouth something to do. Distracting cravings without nicotine, vapor, or batteries.
20:44It's simple. It's natural. And honestly, it's kind of genius. Like there's no nicotine, there's no batteries, there's no vapor, just a weighted twisty
20:51fidget-friendly tool that gives your hands something better to reach for when cravings show up. I mean, we all have that moment when we crave something. For
21:00me, when I'm working, it's snacks. Like they cannot be around my desk. So, instead, I just have gum laying around to replace my craving. If you vape, grab
21:10your Füm instead. Especially with flavors like crisp mint and raspberry.
21:14So, if you're ready to break the habit, now's a great time to try Füm. Right now, when you grab a journey pack,
21:21you'll get a free Füm topper just for using our code the show. The Füm topper adds a soft, replaceable chewable mouthpiece, giving your mouth something

21:38That's t r y f u m.com and use code the show to get your free Füm topper with your journey pack. In New York, first to
21:47talk about Kylen Granson. I actually have him ranked ahead of Omar Cooper here. I love Kylen Granson, man. I love the prospect. He's young, the character
21:55is off the charts. Elite tight ends are elite athletes, and he is just a freak. And these round one players at tight end who get drafted in the
22:07first round, almost all of them, and there haven't been many over the last decade, about eight or nine, go on to
22:12have at least one amazing season, and many of them just are just fantastic players and some of the best in the league. And
22:19Granson has all those tools. The issue is the situation that he finds himself in in 2026, and then he's going to be
22:25surrounded by a bunch of other pass catchers, no matter what, beyond 2026.
22:30So, as much as I like Kylen Granson, and as much as I want to rank him higher, I couldn't even get in the same
22:37territory of where I was drafting Tyler Warren and especially Dalton Kincaid last year. Oh, yeah. I mean, those guys were just so proven as pass catchers.
22:44Granson is awesome in a straight line, but I think there's some, you know, deceleration, some catch point concerns, uh, some zone field concerns
22:52with Granson that you have to like eventually get there. And he's so young, and like you said, he's super smart and
22:56super physical. I think he eventually will pull it off, but you have to do you have to extrapolate a little bit. I
23:01think the hard part is no long-term answer for the Jets. I think they're going to win enough games where they're not going to like
23:06guarantee get Arch Manning next year.
23:08They're kind of be kind of in this like limbo area for for for the quarterback position. And Garrett Wilson's not going
23:15anywhere. Omar Cooper can do some underneath stuff. Breece Hall is not going anywhere. He can do some underneath stuff. And then uh Adam
23:21Thielen Mitchell and whatnot, too. So, a little bit nervous that it's like you have to really thread a couple needles here for for to get like a a top 10
23:29fantasy tight end for for Hayden Hurst.
23:31And then on top of that, he's you know right on that threshold of is he going to be an inline guy
23:36or not? And like you said, for this year, Frank Reich being the one that has to figure all this stuff out. I I
23:42I didn't rank him very high for this season. Yeah, I I put Omar Cooper at number nine. Uh and it's like this Frank
23:47Reich reason. I mean, I'm just scarred from his last term with the Indianapolis Colts. That three-quarters of a season that he had with the Carolina Panthers
23:56where they tried to go out and get all these pieces. And yet he is just so static.
24:02He's so vanilla. There's no motion.
24:04There's no shifts. Everything out of the same personnel. And I don't think he spent, you know, a season at Stanford and now is back to, you know, being on
24:12the creative edge of the NFL.
24:14>> Stanford modern NFL? I mean, come on. I I think it's passing by quite a bit. And so, with that, like how
24:22as much as I like Omar Cooper and believe that he is awesome after the catch, Gumby-like movements, am I certain that he's going to supplant
24:33Adam Thielen Mitchell in like two wide receiver sets this year? I'm not. And on top of that, if he's not going to do that,
24:40then are we sure that he's going to get even 60-70% of the playing time? Because they just drafted Hayden Hurst along with Mason Taylor the year before.
24:50And they're going to run a ton of 12 personnel, you would like to think. So, these guys I'm not saying they're
24:54competing for snaps. It's almost like a trio that is with Sadique, and Mason Taylor, and Omar Cooper. And so, the Jets kind of I think destroyed of the
25:03end of round one here or the middle part of round one for your dynasty rookie drafts. Completely agree everywhere.
25:08Also mentioned I thought Omar Cooper was just an overrated prospect in general.
25:11He's like my 36th overall player, but he was straight up outproduced by Elijah Serrat who went in the fourth round and
25:17wasn't an like an early uh declare high-end recruit. Uh I enjoyed the yards after the catch stuff, but it wasn't like
25:25something that's guaranteed to continue because he's just over to what 200 lb.
25:29He's not 220 lb like Debo is.
25:31Um yeah, and then yeah, Geno Smith last year the Raiders didn't have a top 50 uh wide receiver uh in fantasy football,
25:38and we know that's going to be Garrett Wilson. So, this is going to be a redshirt year for fantasy purposes unless Garrett Wilson gets injured and
25:45then after that I think we're going to look around and be like, "Oh man, like he shouldn't not have been the 30th overall
25:50pick." Just overall, it seems like I'm a little bit later than Kennan Sadique on public's ADP out there. Sleeper has him
25:55at 106. Dynasty Data Lab has him at 107, and so I'm at 108. Um this is a two-person tier though for me. I still
26:03think again you want a top nine pick and specifically a top seven pick uh because after this let's have some conversations. Ty
26:11Simpson leads tier C here as the 10th player in my dynasty rookie rankings. Um this might happen in 2027. Maybe it
26:20happens in 2028. Uh Ian Rapoport reported that Stafford and the Rams are deep in contract extension negotiations.
26:30Uh I don't know what to think. And look, first-round quarterbacks hold on to dynasty value year after year. However, that's typically them playing and still
26:41playing poorly, and that's okay because the position, you know, is very tough to find stars across the league. With Ty Simpson, I don't know if I can say that,
26:49Hayden, that he's probably not going to play unless we get an injury, right? So, uh it's more of a long-term outlook, but
26:56at the same time the other half of my brain is saying, well, it's a long-term outlook most likely with Sean McVay
27:01calling plays, so how much further can this go for Superflex? I would put him into the B tier. I've actually put him
27:06ahead of both the Jets guys. I I think what you just said is all very true, and I think it's especially true when you're
27:12tied to Sean McVay. I think the odds that Sean McVay would retire or leave after the Matthew Stafford era is not
27:18zero, but it's definitely like well well below 50%. I mean, he's what, a 38-year-old or whatever. Uh him just like retiring all of a sudden would be
27:26kind of interesting to me. I do think at the end of the day Les Snead wanted Tyjae uh Simpson more than Sean McVay,
27:31but Sean McVay did sign off sign off on this one. Um yeah, and he's going to have Puka Nacua and Sean McVay. Like and
27:37he's going to have a couple years to develop. So, I do think that that that point of in Superflex, these quarterbacks they
27:45retain their value cuz they're so hard to get right, that I do think like I haven't studied like the what Jordan
27:51Love's kind of ADP was or his value was.
27:54>> rough. It was rough for a little while.
27:56>> Yeah. That was the worst like that was to me was like one of like the worst-case scenarios cuz it lingered for
28:00for an extra year or two, and he didn't have Sean McVay attached to himself. So, yeah. I think in a year from now if if
28:09Omar Cooper is not, you know, balling out as a rookie, like Tyjae Simpson will be worth more than Omar Cooper. And I
28:15just don't think that this entire tier, these guys I just don't see these these rookies playing that much in general.
28:21>> Well, I did put him at the tier above all the rest of these names that we're about to talk about for a reason, again,
28:25Superflex in mind.
28:27I'm I'm just nervous that while we like to think there's a long-term outlook with Dynasty, in fact, our brains are much more
28:34short-term, and especially with the quarterback classes most likely in the next 2 years, um it wouldn't surprise me at all if like
28:42we re-ranked it after 2027, after that draft. Like where would Tyjae Simpson fall in that boat? Um Yeah, I just think Those guys might start
28:50immediately and then Ty Simpson might not see him start for another year after that. I agree with that. Like he might
28:55be ranked but beneath some of the quarterbacks next year for sure. But I think we're going to cross off more than
29:00half the the next 10 names that we're going to talk about right here and then maybe even some of the the names that we
29:04just talked about before we get to next season after they didn't do anything.
29:08Well, but that's why he's at the top of this tier. Next is Denzel Boston with the Cleveland Browns. Um What I
29:15love that Todd Monken said is that we don't have someone of his size. We wanted a size match-up, especially someone in the red zone. I mean, Hayden,
29:22he was drafted almost I in the identical spot as Michael Pittman Jr. was and that was a comparison that I made coming out
29:29of out of school. So, uh it's not as athletic pleasing, he's not the best mover, but in the red zone he
29:34can dunk on people. Uh and again, I think Monken is at some point this year we're going to receive two wide receiver
29:40sets of Casey Conceição and Denzel Boston and see you later to all the older guys.
29:46I like Denzel Boston. If I was like a GM, I do think there's a difference in like full PPR, especially with this
29:52landing spot. I mean, like long-term he's going to be probably with a third in the pecking order for targets behind Casey
29:58Conceição. I think Harold Fannin is a big-time volume guy in ways that Denzel Boston might not be. So, it's like all
30:04right, the second or third target most likely on the Browns long-term.
30:08Uh it gets difficult. I wanted to rank him higher than this and I would have drafted him earlier than what he went if
30:13I was a real-life GM, but I think for fantasy football purposes it's a it's a little bit harder um here. And I
30:19think that's just because I really liked what Casey Conceição could be in terms of his like volume hog. Yeah, I mean,
30:25nothing's going to be easy from the 1.11 and beyond. I'm just warning you. We're not going to say, "Oh yeah, that that's
30:30a smart selection." Yeah, I hear you. I hear you.
30:35I hear you.
30:36So, with that in mind, I actually have Eli Stowe as the 12th overall player and and 112.
30:43Tight end label, almost certainly in all of your leagues. Uh I can't tell you exactly how he's going to impact the
30:49Philadelphia Eagles. What I can say is that Howie Roseman loves to draft players with something different about them. Uh whether it's their, you know,
30:58background, whether it's their size, whether it's their athleticism, their length, their story, all this type of stuff.
31:05Eli Stowers kind of checks all those boxes and it's why he was a bit of a surprise pick for me for this team in
31:11round two. Like he is a nothing as a blocker as of this point, but he's only spent about three years at the position
31:18and just his movement at tight end is is different and you see him evade defenders at the second level and then
31:25throw his body back and make off, you know, frame catches and all this type of stuff. So, do I think he is a one-to-one
31:31replacement for Dallas Goedert? That would be a no at this point because they just aren't on the same wavelength when it comes to in-line reps. But, are they
31:41somewhat trying to replace A.J. Brown in the aggregate with Macai Lemon and Eli Stowers? Now, that I could listen to and
31:48especially with Sean Mannion and as we've seen in previous offenses here at the Philadelphia Eagles, uh a love for playing some 12 personnel, which then
31:56you can detach Eli Stowers and do some funky stuff with him, too. I think that is a great landing spot for Stowers. I
32:01have him in this range for sure. Just one, the Eagles are just they have a long-term vision with these these guys.
32:07So, it's not like we're going to, you know, replace the entire staff and then all of a sudden Stowers is like an
32:12afterthought. Uh and there's a little bit of a proof of concept in that for years Dallas Goedert would be split out wide and be like a pretty much a big
32:20uh slot tight end. I think Goedert offered infinitely more as a blocker. Um but at the same time, Grant Calcaterra I
32:28thought was one of the worst blocking tight ends in football.
32:30>> Yep. And he played a bunch of snaps last year. Like could they just be like, all right, Stowers you're out there for the
32:35Calcaterra snaps? And by the way, Calcaterra is uh a free agent after this year. Same same thing with Dallas Goedert. So, there's
32:41nobody in the tight end room long-term.
32:43And then there's always the the chance where they say, "You know what? Drop 10 lb. We're going to try to make you
32:48Marques Colston." And if you have that, you have you have a jackpot. So, in a bad class, roll the dice on Eli Stove.
32:54He went earlier than some people expected. I do think the Eagles are a good landing spot just because Howie's not going to give up instantaneously
33:01here. And if he went to the wrong team, they replace the GM and stuff. Like, Stove could have gone to the the Jacob
33:07Harris well really quickly. I just don't think it's going to happen with the Eagles. And look, if we're swinging for stuff, like, swing for the damn fences.
33:13And especially if you're in tight end premium here with Eli Stove. Now, you might be saying to yourself, "Well, Josh, everyone has these top 12 in the
33:20top 12." Probably. But guess what? From here on out, I really diverge from consensus. And that brings us to the next name.
33:27Jeremy Bernard is my 201 on Sleeper. He's being drafted as the third pick of the third round. On Dynasty Data Lab right now, he's the
33:38204. Um I just think he can line up everywhere, man. Like, this might seem like uh you know, drive down the fairway, just
33:47simple 220 yd and put your club in your bag, and we can just keep it moving. Or double, if people want to say. But after
33:54DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman, which both players have had ups and downs when it comes to injuries and staying on the
34:00field and perfectly fitting in this offense. Again, Jeremy Bernard played from every single alignment in Alabama's passing game, which was formerly
34:08Washington's passing game, uh to a point where I think he's going to claim this year one of the three wide receiver set spots. And then moving
34:16forward, one of the two wide receiver set spots. So, again, you run in-breakers, you run digs, all that type of stuff. And I I I think Jeremy Bernard
34:24is a bit better than given credit for here in the Dynasty community.
34:28I see the same way. I'm kind of in between consensus and you. Adam ranked 19th. Uh it it's unfortunate that he
34:34goes to the Steelers. We don't have quarterbacks solved and then I think after the huge investments in draft capital and extensions at Pittman and
34:41Metcalf are here for probably multiple seasons. So you're looking at like a third guy in the past game, but he he's
34:48just going to stick around, man. Like I think that there's a chance he can turn into like a Jakobi Meyers type of player
34:54who depending on the the talent around him becomes a fantasy starter or is kind of just a glue guy. So I think this he's
35:02a one of the safer picks you can make in round two of dynasty drafts. I don't think you're going to get much
35:08production for the next year or two, but I think he's going to finish his rookie contract, which I think is saying
35:14something in this class. I I I know that Michael Pittman signed a contract extension, but if you look underneath the hood on over the cap, they can
35:22easily get out of it after this year.
35:24Like if it's he if he's injured in his what age 29 30 season and they like what Jerman Bernard is showing, then they
35:31save $11 million by cutting him prior to I think March 13th or something of next year. So there is an out for him to be a
35:39two wide receiver set player. That's for sure.
35:42All right, Hayden.
35:43Uh We're going off the rails. I have De'Shawn Shrubling as the 14th overall player here.
35:50On Dynasty Data Lab, he's the 207.
35:52Again, this means that he's my 202. And as of this point, if you draft on Sleeper, he has an ADP of 999 and a rank of
36:012,246.
36:03So he's not even in your database, basically. You have to scroll down, type in his name, and put him on your short
36:08list. That's going to happen with a bunch of the names on this list. So he is the first one.
36:12My thing is Dane Brugler was on this channel two weeks ago telling you that the NFL at large was going to draft
36:19De'Shawn Shrubling in round two. Then he goes 33rd overall to Kyle Shanahan and the San Francisco 49ers offense who says he also has a great pathway to playing
36:29time to replace Jauan Jennings as the seems F wide receiver, and the entire dynasty community at best is taking him at the 207. Uh, that math ain't mathing
36:40to me. So, we can get into some reasons why maybe he's being faded out there, but this is a early round two wide
36:46receiver, the earliest round two wide receiver that you could ever get in an offense that we really like, that after an injured Mike Evans and an injured
36:54Ricky Pearsall is very, very much up in the air. Uh, and I just want to go in this case where the draft capital goes,
37:00along with I think a player that has real areas of strength and where he wins on the field.
37:06I'm on your side of of this one as well.
37:09I think we should discount the draft capital because one, the 49ers did reach a little bit and it's a bad draft class.
37:15So, he's not he should not be looked at as like the 33rd overall pick if you're trying to model this thing out. Plus, if
37:20you are trying to model this thing out, it's not going to look pretty cuz you only average 54 yards per game. He's 23
37:25and 1/2 years old. He's been to three colleges, yada yada yada. I also do think that we should factor in the
37:31landing spot of the 49ers put up top five points every single year and there's no long-term options on this team. Mike Evans is a year-to-year deal.
37:39Ricky Pearsall was what? Was he the 33rd overall pick? He was just in that range.
37:43>> 27. Yeah, he hasn't done a whole lot yet. Um, and then George Kittle and CMC are aging out and I think that
37:48Shanahan's just going to be there for the rest of time. So, he's fighting for Christian Kirk uh, in three wide receiver sets. I think by the end of the
37:55season he will win that battle. They already claim that he's a good blocker, which we both agreed with before Shanahan mentioned that uh,
38:02himself. This is what he says, he's I'm here to block and all that type of stuff. And then for a blocking type, it
38:07is kind of cool that he can run 436 at 207 lbs. I mean, he did score a 75-yard touchdown against Georgia where he's the
38:14fastest guy in the football field for that play.
38:16Um, so I think the odds that he busts are pretty, pretty high, but there is a real path to him just being a starting wide
38:24receiver for Kyle Shanahan. And in this draft class, sign me up for that. Hey, it's incredible how late he's going. And
38:30I I get pushback, and we'll talk about a certain fifth-round running back that's being selected out there, sometimes in round one, and has landed with an
38:38average ADP of 203. And you know, some comments back I get saying, "Well, there's a lot more successful fifth-round running backs than there are
38:45Kyle Shanahan skill players that are drafted." Uh are you sure about that?
38:48Let's look from wide receivers that Kyle Shanahan has selected from the 25th pick into the, let's say, 64th overall selection, okay?
38:57That includes Deebo Samuel, 36th overall.
39:01Dante Pettis, 44th overall. Brandon Aiyuk, 25th. Ricky Pearsall, 31. And De'Shawn Shivers at 33 overall. Like, there's one bad player in that with
39:09Dante Pettis. In fact, he was the first one. Ever since then, you've gotten Deebo. You've gotten Brandon Aiyuk. I think Ricky Pearsall is a very talented
39:16football player if he could just stay on the football field. And then you have here in De'Shawn Shivers, a hand-picked player at 33rd overall, who, which by
39:24the way, the early Aiyuk stuff, why he couldn't get on the field, is because he wasn't giving it all in terms of his run
39:28blocking. And Shivers has that in spades. If he just fixes his technique just a little bit, we said in the video
39:34here that he could be the best run blocker in this class from the wide receiver department. And the 49ers see it the exact same way.
39:40>> Yeah, I think in tying this back to consensus rankings, I do think that Shivers, if you were just doing the NFL
39:46consensus, not the media, he would have been the 45th player or something like that. So, um I think that the media was
39:53just wrong on him, and they probably weren't dis- or they were discounting some of these other factors that lead to playing time. So, I'm with you. I think
39:59we should be grading towards some of the landing spots in a bad class, and he was my like 15th or some- somewhere in that kind of
40:05range. I'm way closer to you than consensus. Yeah, I have him at 14. Okay, Jona Coleman is next, Broncos running back. Uh I listened to the day three
40:14press conference here from Sean Payton.
40:16Not much was said. He just said that it was very physical, can play on third down with pressure looks that we talked
40:20about with his submarining pass protection kind of getting underneath those guys. You even talked about some players jumping over him cuz he was so
40:26squatty as a fire hydrant. Um he said he like read a scouting report that his running style compared to JK Dobbins. I don't know if I exactly saw
40:34that one. Um but he just wants to, you know, get more players in this room and it certainly sounded like, if we could
40:40read between the lines, that this was a JK Dobbins succession plan or a JK Dobbins injury insurance uh and less of like the RJ Harvey
40:50conversation and that stuff. But in an offense that's really good, like Jonah Coleman to me was an intriguing running back in this running back class because
40:58just based on his boulder-like build, uh arm tackles just, you know, fell off of him.
41:04Yeah, he's just somebody I think just going to survive in the NFL, whether that's in a pass protection role, which is like the Tyler uh
41:11the Day role, um or as the JK uh Dobbins replacement. And I think that he can do either one of those. Unfortunately,
41:19there's not a huge ceiling to chase here just because Sean Payton rotates all of his guys, but I do think if you're like you have to start four
41:26running backs in some of these dynasty leagues, like I do think that he's going to project enough to like be on the
41:31football field. I think that will start uh this by the end of this season. I do think that he's going to be accumulating
41:37some level of fantasy points. I don't think it's going to be double-digit fantasy points, but I just think that Coleman's just going to last in the NFL
41:43cuz he's a very trusted player. My 204 and the 16th player is Chris Bell, the wide receiver for the Miami Dolphins. In
41:50fact, he was the second wide receiver that they selected, but we all know if the medical uh wasn't there in terms of
41:55the ACL that was clean, uh this what, past November or December, then uh he would have gone much earlier than this.
42:02And I mean, the line that I love was John Eric Sullivan saying, quote, "It's important to me this team looks a
42:07certain way and moves a certain way. I believe it's a big man's game. We want the size advantage." And they called
42:12Chris Bell a long-term investment. So, for me to all of you, you should be making this long-term investment in Chris Bell, and just buy your time until
42:21he, you know, hits the field. And I actually like him in the fit with Bobby Slowik's offense that has a ton of
42:26crossing routes, uh a ton of over concepts. Just get the ball in his hands and let him work after the catch.
42:33Yeah, I don't like that he fell 50 spots further than I was expecting, but um he surely did land to a
42:39spot that he can win out. Malik Washington, Jaylen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell, and then Caleb Douglas. I mean, come on.
42:44Like, he's like a very clearly the most talented player. So, uh yeah, he's not going to pop in the models, but we're
42:49trying to find outliers uh at this point. And I mean, he's the definition of outlier. So, I have him either ranked
42:55ahead of this personally, um but it does make me nervous that he fell 50 spots.
42:59Like, there could be something going on.
43:01Sleeper has him at 208. So, if you're following these rankings, you can get Chris Bell. Uh and you can definitely get the next player I'm going to talk
43:07about here in Antonio Williams with the Washington Commanders. Uh he's my 17th, which means he's the 205. On Sleeper, he's the 212. I went back and watched
43:16their general manager's press conference, and he mentioned that he can play the Z or the F, so outside or inside, inside or outside. And so, when
43:25I hear that, my ears perk up because you have David Blough, new play-caller, new OC, who was throwing to Amon-Ra St.
43:32Brown in practice in Detroit, learned that Lions' offense from Ben Johnson.
43:38This team in the Commanders, as of this moment, does not have a wide receiver two or a wide receiver three. And
43:44Antonio Williams blocks. Like, he's smooth. I think he's going to contribute. I think he's going to last at worst as their wide receiver three,
43:50maybe even work into the wide receiver two role because we don't know what Brandon Aiyuk is going to look like if
43:55and when he joins this Washington Commanders staff. Uh and he's just a solid seven across the board here in terms of wide receiver stats. When I was
44:02writing up my rankings for just this season, I ranked him ahead of Omar Cooper, Stribling, and Denzel Boston.
44:12His path to playing time is just so clear, and it does seem like the 49ers are petty enough that they're going to
44:17keep Aiyuk until like September 1st. So, I mean, Antonio Williams is probably going to be the team's number two or number three wide receiver throughout
44:25all of training camp. He's going to easily pass up Luke McCaffrey in the slot job, but I do think that there's a chance that
44:31they have to put him out there in two wide receiver sets, and obviously you're hitching your wagon to Jayden Daniels, and most of the
44:40wide receivers that we're mentioning, we don't know who the quarterback's going to be on their team like this next season. So, the fact that you're
44:45attached to Jayden Daniels, I think it's a it's a win for Antonio Williams. Yeah, and this offense is going to be a bit
44:50more traditional this year. And again, this inside-outside player that you can get on motions and shifts and all that type of stuff, the
44:57young OC who was just a quarterback in the league, practiced, played in an offense that was all about featuring this player, you
45:05know? And they've already said that, "Hey, we want to get him." We're talking about this in our wide receiver rankings later this week.
45:10How can I get Terry McLaurin, you know, 10 targets a game? At the same time, Terry McLaurin is the X, and that's all
45:15he's going to do. We know what he does.
45:17And so, again, I think there are multiple outs for Antonio Williams to be a very good pick, and 212 in your leagues. By the way, if
45:25you're drafting on Sleeper, there are also two Antonio Williams, and they're back-to-back in ADPs. So, be sure you draft the wide receiver one and not the
45:31running back one. Uh-oh. Yep.
45:34Okay.
45:35Tier break for me, and again, pick your guys. In the top 17, I think that is the top 17 from Hear me out from 18 to 36,
45:45pick your guys.
45:46I have Um I'm just going to take the good player on a good team. I know this is back-to-back second-round tight ends for
45:54the LA Rams, but and you maybe can have the same conversation about Ty Simpson as you can with there because of, you
46:01know, the the Higbee and the Parkinson factor here, but I thought Max Williams a good tight end prospect. You thought he was a great tight end prospect and
46:10we've been spoiled by rookie tight end producers as of late, but it's traditionally a position that so many you know, of the top talents in the
46:17league, it takes multiple years for them to really prove to be the real talents that they are. So, Max Williams going as
46:24a 304 in almost all other Dynasty formats out there and I have him almost a full round ahead here at the 206.
46:31Yeah, I think there's like a little Brenton Strange going on here.
46:34I would say I definitely liked him as a prospect he's my 52nd overall pick so that's the range that he goes in. I
46:39think it's just so unfortunate that you have Ferguson there long-term. But I think there's a chance that Claire could just beat out Terrance Ferguson.
46:47Ferguson's like better in like a like a crossing routes. I think Claire can do a little bit more like wiggle stuff than
46:52Ferguson. So, we'll see how it plays out. I don't think he's going to get very many fantasy points this season.
46:55So, this is purely purely for Dynasty. 100%. I mean, if we look at Colby Parkinson's contract, he's in the final year of his
47:02deal and then Tyler Higbee's body can break down at any moment and he's almost certainly in the final year of his deal, too. So, I think we're looking
47:10at 2027 and their starting two tight ends are Terrance Ferguson and and Max Claire and on a team that obviously cares about 12 and 13 personnel.
47:21>> Maybe too much. And that we and that we want pieces of. So, again you have other tight ends you can play
47:27here in 2026. I just want a piece of this this late in drafts in for 2027. And that brings me to Oscar
47:34Delp, which I'm assuming everyone's going to have ranked higher for maybe the 2026 season and you might even have him higher in your rankings
47:43here for 2027 for Dynasty, but at the time of this recording, like he is 220 2,288 overall in Sleeper,
47:53unranked and he does something different than everyone out there in the Saints tight end room when we're talking about Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant. Kellen
48:00Moore called attention to this that he is an inline blocker and that's going to keep him on the field in two tight end
48:07sets because these other guys are going to be the move and receiving options. So, on Dynasty Data Lab, he's the 312 and I
48:14have him way way higher than that.
48:17Yeah, agree across the board. He's my 51st overall player in the draft class.
48:20Goes generally in that range. There's more upside because he's a 448 speed guy with a almost a 39-in vertical at 245.
48:29Could block well. So, he's he's going to get on the football field and then Juwan Johnson like not for long. I should
48:34throw in all these three tight ends up at the top of at the same time. Eli Rerdan's next for me.
48:39Um my 208 being drafted as the 311.
48:43Uh Eliot Wolf said just scratching the surface. I would have agree with a lot of that if he can stay healthy because
48:49of the athleticism and again, elite tight ends are elite athletes and that's why we're talking about Oscar here who has untapped, I think, receiving upside.
48:57And then Eli Rerdan had more receiving production than him, but uh obviously an injury-riddled past, but still has that inline presence. Um just is a uh sturdy
49:08blocker. Would not say he's a dominant blocker like the Roushes or the Kasmericks, but uh just kind of halts his man and keeps him at bay. And I
49:15think Josh McDaniels, this is really his first investment at the tight end position and that man loves drafting and developing tight ends.
49:22Get Eli Rerdan in on your dynasty team.
49:24I mean, this is the player I feel very good about late later on. He was blocking Ruben Bain and Akiem Mesidor
49:30one-on-one, not combo blocks and going up to the next level. Like, no, one-on-one against, you know, first-round edge rushers who show some
49:35physicality and then he's got some like legit burst down the football field. So, I agree, you know, there's room to grow
49:42here, um but got the draft capital where 2 years from now when Hunter Henry's away, you got Rerdan as a Y tight end
49:48with juice attached to Drake May. Like, this is like the guy that I think could really shoot up boards. Yeah, again, if
49:53you're in round three, and I know I've been ranked much earlier than this, but if you're in round three and you just
49:58don't know who to take anymore and you're drafting on Sleeper, Oscar Delp is 2,288.
50:04Eli Rerdan is 2,242. You can get like both these guys. If you Yes. Do it.
50:09Uh okay, I'm just going to stack this next grouping cuz they all play the same position, uh but I have them almost certainly in a
50:15different order than everyone else there does. Uh Mike Washington Jr. is my 21st overall player at the 209. Then I have
50:21Kaelen Black with the San Francisco 49ers. Then I have Keaton Allen, now with the Washington Commanders. Then Emmet Johnson, and then Nick Singleton.
50:30Um first with Mike Washington, I obviously liked him better than some of the other running backs on this list. I understand he's
50:38immediately behind Ashton Jeanty, uh now a second-year player as a first-year player, but he just has the juice. He has long speed, and he is clearly their
50:47backup running back. And so if something happens like to me we are chasing backup running backs with this and not necessarily muddy backfields. However,
50:55we will talk about one of those guys that has that role potentially. But of that list, I think Mike Washington Jr.
51:00has the most upside if something does happen with Ashton Jeanty, that he's going to be an immediate starting for starter for you in your lineup. Yeah, he
51:07caught 28 passes. He's 223 lb. He's an elite athlete. If something happens to Jeanty, we will be ranking him on our
51:13weekly rankings as a top 25-ish running back. And if Fernando Mendoza hits in the way that we think that he can, two,
51:20three years from now he could even be higher than that. So, among the the bell the backup guys, he's he's the top one.
51:25The next is Kaelen Black. Uh he was the third running back taken.
51:28Never thought he'd be the third running back taken, uh but he's the best pass protector in this draft. Uh as a runner,
51:34just kind of average, but again, uh I just wanted to place him here because to me, and based on what they said and the
51:41skills that he offers, he'll be active on game day. Uh he can pick up just enough rushing yards that are blocked
51:45for him, uh and he should pencil in as the backup running back I think for the San Francisco 49ers. I think he's the RB2.
51:53Agree there. It's him and Jordan James right now. I just think that, you know, Shanahan falls in love with the the
51:58latest running back and that will be him and he'll probably get replaced, but if CMC gets banged up this season or seems
52:03this is like CMC's last season with the team and there's, you know, he'll be in the mix to to get some starts. And the
52:10next is Ke'Shawn Allen. We know a day three pick of the Washington Commanders.
52:15In fact, a sixth-round selection. I would say this is the muddiest backfield of this top four running backs that we're talking about here.
52:23I love this quote from Nicki Javvala that I was a fat baby and everybody in the town called me fat man. This is
52:30Ke'Shawn Allen saying this. Hopefully I keep it going in Washington and they call me fat man and you know, when I
52:36score all you hear is fat man. He's a big dude and that's different than every other running back that they have on the
52:44roster. In fact, he's replacing the big dude in Chris Rodriguez and the staff brought that up when talking about Ke'Shawn and if that's the case, I don't
52:52know if he will get 10 to 12 carries per game, but hey, he can have that bus roll once we get inside the five-yard line
52:59and score some TDs. Yeah, in my scouting report, some junk in the trunk. He looked even shorter than 5'11" on the
53:05football field. Rashad White is a one-year $2 million contract. Like tough tough business this running back business. Only two making $2 million for
53:12Rashad White, but there's there's no investment into this and I think him versus Bill two totally different styles. Bill's far more explosive and
53:20then Kate Ke'Shawn's a better goal line guy. Chris Rodriguez is the one that ended up winning out for most of the
53:25season last year and Chris Rodriguez was my comp for Ke'Shawn Allen. So, I think there's there's a path here and I think
53:30that I would be taking him higher than most people. I think you missed a real opportunity to compare Ke'Shawn Allen to
53:36Lindale White. Well, I don't like to make comps to literal legends and that's how I view Kendre White as a 9-year-old.
53:45Yeah, again, I'm even uh right at ADP here with Keaton if we're talking about sleeper, but again, Dynasty Data Lab has him at the 303. So,
53:53you'll be winding up with a lot of Keaton Allen if you're following this list. Emmett Johnson's next. Good runner. Fine. That backfield doesn't
54:00have a lot of depth to it behind Ken Walker, right?
54:03>> Yeah. Yeah, I think he'll beat it beat out Breashad Smith. Breashad Smith is wide receiver convert, I think Emmett Johnson does a lot of like real stuff. I
54:10don't think that he does it at an extremely high level, uh but you know, change of pace role, someone at the goal line if Kenneth Walker
54:16misses misses out, I think Emmett Johnson will get the first crack at it until they sign Kareem Hunt.
54:21>> Yeah, his underlying metrics were awesome in terms of missed tackles forced and avoiding negative runs. I would say a lot of that is again nifty
54:27footwork at the point of contact, but then maybe a lack of juice and a lack of explosion beyond that to really like
54:33make big plays after he makes the first person miss. Yeah.
54:36>> Uh and then the big conversation here is Nick Singleton, the fifth-round pick for the Tennessee Titans.
54:42I was beyond stunned that his ADP right now is the 203. And then anecdotally, a lot of people when I proposed that on Twitter, said he's even
54:52going at the 111, 112 in my drafts.
54:56What am I missing here?
54:58Um is it that he's been productive for four seasons at Penn State and would have tested like a good athlete if he was
55:05able to apparently? Uh because Hayden, when I watched him, I saw someone that was all athlete and that's it and lacked
55:13vision, lacked toughness on contact, maybe at best in the passing game, and he's going to an offense that has Tony Pollard and has Tajae Spears. And so,
55:23what is the goal here a 2027 play when both those guys might be gone? So, he has to show enough in practice and in
55:29limited touches this season for them not to either retain a running back or sign one in 2025? I again, tell me if I'm wrong, I just do
55:37not see Nick Singleton being a value of where he's being selected at this point.
55:42>> I viewed him as a pass-down back with some nice speed, but his vision was just so bad. Penn State gave up on him, and
55:49they they wouldn't even like give him like normal running back touches. Like, if he was on the the field getting carries, it was like perimeter runs,
55:55pony personnel, wildcat type of stuff with Singleton. I I think the reason why is I'm sure a lot of people doing
56:00dynasty rankings on the internet are also playing like the campus-to-canton type of formats where you're studying the the prospects coming out as high
56:09school players and all that. He just had the buzz. Like, he's the five-star guy.
56:13I think that since you don't care about that, you're kind of just taking what happened this last year or so and then
56:18applying that where I think other people have an attachment to the possibilities that Singleton can be. And maybe sometimes we're right, sometimes they're
56:24right on that type of stuff, but I think that's why he has the hype. I think he's a pass-down back. Um
56:30And I'd be surprised if he was like an early-down guy in the NFL. Maybe I'm just missing it, and and maybe I'm
56:35wrong, but there's nothing with my eyeballs that led me to believe that he is going to overtake Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears or even do enough to have
56:44them have them be, you know, the running back one heading into 2027.
56:48Uh and then the draft capital followed suit with that, too, you know? So, it didn't move me at all. I cannot believe
56:54he's a 2.03.
56:56Uh okay. I think I'm just going to immediately start off with the final tier, and this is take your shots. And
57:02this one's a deep deep group. Chris Olave is the first one on this list for me. Um again, if you're taking your
57:08shot, why not with a dude coming out of a program in Tennessee that it can be difficult to transition, but if he hits,
57:14he's hitting in a big way because he's massive at 6'4" 200-plus lbs. He has a huge catch radius. He is super fast. And
57:21I would even say if you go back and watch those snaps at Tulane with a bit more of a route tree, he already showed,
57:27I thought, some ability to do that compared to other Tennessee wide receivers that we have seen of this ilk, if you want to say Jaylen Hyatt is like
57:35that. So, Chris Braswell tops my list of the dart throws. Yeah, I think at this point we don't care about median
57:40outcomes. We're literally what is the path to out producing your uh draft capital? I think that he has like the highest odds of doing that. I think he
57:47has the lowest floor, but who cares about that at this point? Yeah, Zachariah Branch is kind of of that same version where if it hits, then he has
57:54learned to run more intermediate and downfield routes. He simply moves differently. Uh I mean, jitterbug with the ball in his hands forces missed
58:03tackles. If he can translate that ability to route running, then something is maybe special there. Uh Yeah. He didn't go in round two. He went
58:12in round round three, which is great. Um but again, he will always be fighting his size.
58:18Uh and that's something that will never be able to change. Yeah, he also doesn't really trust his hands. If you see him
58:22like on these slant routes, some of these crossing routes, stuff. It's a small catch radius and he kind of fights it a little bit. So, I think that he has
58:27a lot of things to get right, but at the same time we talked about five-star recruit. Really is like a move different
58:32type of guy and I think he's it's without a doubt he's going to be an asset in the manufactured department at
58:37least. Uh but who cares for for for fantasy purposes?
58:41He has to get better at the rest of it.
58:43I'll try to speed run the rest of this list. I Elijah Sarratt is next. Uh he's actually being selected at on sleeper at
58:49the 204. So, I have him 28th overall. Um It was interesting. They took Jacobe Lane and then the next round took Elijah
58:56Sarratt. I listened to what Eric DeCosta said and it seems like they're going to change what Elijah Sarratt did in college at Indiana, which I kind of like
59:03here. He said, quote, we think he's really good inside. He did mention that he can be a boundary back shoulder ball
59:08winner two on the outside. But there was that one catch, I think it was against Iowa, where he showed like some really
59:14good zone feel and some rugged yards after the catch by breaking tackles and uh again, economic movements I think makes him play faster than his time is
59:22faster.
59:23Uh It was also fascinating when Eric DeCosta said, quote, I don't even understand what our offense is right now." So, if he doesn't, then I can't either. Wow,
59:32that's a quite the statement. I was trying to figure that out myself with some of my write-ups and I kind of
59:36reached that same conclusion.
59:37Interestingly, you talked about the the move inside thing. My upside comp for him is Keenan Allen, which would be like the big guy that shows with some route
59:45running prowess that goes into the slot in the pros. Mohamed Sanu is like probably what I actually think he's going to do. And then hopefully Jalen
59:52Reagor is going to play on the outside and be like some depth to like Rashod Bateman. So, yeah, I think Surratt
59:57versus Jalen Reagor, one guy walks away still involved on this team in a couple years.
60:03And I could see it going either way. At 29, I have Carson Beck. Underdog put his higher or lower in terms of starts this
60:09year at 3 and 1/2. Higher or lower for you?
60:13That seems pretty good, actually.
60:16I'll go lower, but oh, man.
60:19I think lower as well.
60:21I Look, I think they drafted him to be, and I know this name I saw him a lot more than 3 and 1/2 games, but like
60:26their version of Dillon Gabriel that Kevin Stefanski wanted in terms of, "Hey, this is our long-term backup and in round three we're we're just going to
60:32take that here." Uh did you see anything differently when going back and and watching him on Saturday?
60:38I got the craziest Carson Wentz thing in my head going on where like he's not running too much, doesn't look really
60:45clean when he's running it. I think when he's trying to push the ball to the sideline, the ball kind of died out and
60:49I know that he's dealt with some injuries. He's got the size, he also wears number 11. And then a little bit
60:53more panic in the pocket for somebody that's 24 years old that's always been attached to national champion. So, I think it would be very good if he was
61:02a long-term backup in the NFL. You know, I think that's what he's >> have the new trebuchet we have among us.
61:07But yeah, like Carson's body kind of failed him. He obviously went on a tremendous hot streak and would have probably won MVP the year that the
61:13Eagles won the Super Bowl if he was able to stay healthy.
61:16And then ever since then really fell off a cliff. Next is Britain Thompson.
61:20Here's another onion hanger, all right?
61:22At the time of this recording, he does not have an ADP on Sleeper and he's ranked 2,261.
61:30Here's my thing. Mike McDaniel in a social video that the Chargers put out said, quote, "In this whole formula, if you can find
61:36a way to get Brevin Jordan Thompson, I will take my shirt off."
61:40Uh they got Brevin Jordan Thompson. I regret to inform you he did not take his shirt off. But what? In your dynasty
61:45leagues, he's being drafted like at the 404?
61:48Easy money. Oh, a hand-picked Mike McDaniel guy who actually ran outside downfield routes from against press coverage? Like I want to take a swing here on Brevin
61:57Jordan Thompson. Brevin Jordan Thompson was my wide receiver nine by the end of this thing. Uh for if I was a GM, and I
62:03feel completely unmoved from that. The fact that he goes to Justin Herbert and he's the downfield threat, I think is awesome. I think he's going to push
62:09Quinton Johnston uh long-term, and I think that John Brown range of outcomes is in play. Darnell Mooney went in this range. This
62:17I mean, he was getting pressed man coverage against the SEC guys and blowing by them. Like this is not some BS 140-lb guy. Like this guy was given
62:24the the difficult stuff and winning. And the fact that McDaniel was the one that likes him the most is making me even
62:30more optimistic here. So, I think I have him around like the 306, obviously 30th overall. I have him 24th.
62:36Ooh.
62:36>> Beat me.
62:37>> Nice. Nice. That is a pretty loaded wide receiver room though. Like if we're talking about Trey Harris last year and
62:42Lad McConkey and Ihmir Smith-Marsette catching passes, so the pathway might not be there. And Mike McDaniel might not even be there for one or two. Let's
62:50Let's put that out there.
62:51>> Yeah, I hope. Okay, next I have Jacobi Lane.
62:54Uh again, on my radar that EDC Eric DeCosta said that Lane and Terrace Marshall are going to play different roles and don't really overlap in their
63:00offense. But Jacobi Lane's five best catches at USC were freaking awesome.
63:05Uh I just don't know how many back shoulders and like contested grabs along the sideline that Lamar Jackson actually wants to throw.
63:11Or is it because none of his guys can come down with the 50/50 ball to save their life, and maybe Lane's going to be
63:16the the new version of that. Yeah, it's a completely new offense. So like you like you said, like they don't know
63:20what's going on, but I think Jacob Lane it's it's worth it to see if Lamar Jackson likes throwing those guys because everyone they draft is 175 lbs.
63:29Um so it's at least something new. Next I have Caleb Douglas with the Miami Dolphins.
63:36Uh Hayden, um am I talking out of two sides of my mouth when I have Deshaun Scrubland there clearly in tier C and then I have
63:44Caleb Douglas all the way down here uh at the bottom of the barrel or close to it despite him, you know, being the 75th
63:50overall pick drafted ahead of a bunch of these guys. Well, I I do think that Scrubland in the real life consensus
63:57board was going to go in the second round. I'm not sure if the real life NFL consensus board would have been taking
64:02Caleb Douglas in the third round. I went back and did my due diligence here. I I watched him.
64:08>> He's fast. He's a big guy. Yep. I think the rest of it is pretty weak. Like I'm going to come out and say it. I I I was
64:14unmoved uh by them reaching. I get it because there's a dart throw. Like it's like Chris Brazel but just like I think
64:22a tier below in every single way.
64:24Um I think Chris Bell is like infinitely better than Caleb Douglas. So I'm sticking with it. He's like 6'3" and 1/2, 206. Uh huge
64:34hands, long wingspan. The 40 was 4.39.
64:37He had one of the more fascinating explosive profiles in terms of jumps.
64:42Like he had a 7th percentile vert at 31 and 1/2 in.
64:45But then a 73rd percentile broad jump at 73. It's all strides. Yep. Well, if you if you watch him if you watch him run, he's got like
64:53these crazy strides, but you're not seeing him like win at the catch point and stuff very often. Yeah, very interesting player. I I can see how
65:00somebody can like fall in love with him.
65:03Typically this guy is a fifth rounder though.
65:05Yeah, and I thought he kind of fought the football as well. There was like something like Josh Doctson to his game
65:10if you really want to squint. Uh speaking of Ted Harrison's next for me.
65:16In fact, I might have made this Josh Docson comparison here for Ted Harrison.
65:19This is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If it if it works, it works and it's a big way.
65:24But man, the level of competition that he's coming from on a team that lost like 11 straight games it felt like.
65:31He just ran by his level of corners and just out athleted all of them.
65:35Apparently he had a great senior bowl. I was not there. I cannot comment on it.
65:39But uh I I This is a true project and a true dart throw. Yeah, I at least like the organization that he goes to and
65:45like once Chris Godwin gets out of there, they're looking for outside guys.
65:48So I maybe put him a little bit higher than this, but I didn't love him as a prospect. And I'm much lower on Malachi
65:54Fields than where he's being drafted right now at the 208 or 209.
65:57But he had definitely had certain parts of his game that contested catches down the field. I would say the Giants really
66:03don't have a player like that to fill his role and that's probably why he was selected in the third round.
66:08That's just a height needle to thread. Even the best of the best at contested catches and tight window targets don't come down
66:15with those at a really high consistent rate in the NFL. So can he be more than that?
66:20I do not think so.
66:22Yeah, he's at least going up against Darnell Mooney and Darius Slayton. So there's a chance that he gets on the field early cuz he can block and just do
66:28things that those two guys can dream of doing. So Yeah, at least have that. Okay, we'll close up with two quarterbacks. I have
66:34Drew Allar of the Pittsburgh Steelers. And then my 36th overall pick as the ultimate dart throw is Ta'Quan Green. Yep. The
66:42quarterback for the Cleveland Browns.
66:43And Todd Monken has said in every stop that he wants athleticism and mobility at quarterback. Ta'Quan Green is just an absurd athlete.
66:52And look, if like DTR got starts in the NFL, let's give Ta'Quan Green a couple starts in the NFL and see what happens
66:57cuz he comes from a a Bobby Petrino offense that is the same offense that Lamar Jackson came out of that, you
67:03know, had some pro concepts to it. Some real downfield passing work. Now was it high variance for him? 100% but uh let's
67:10just see what happens here. I think there's a chance that he is like a goal line weapon for the Browns this year. I
67:16get the fascination there.
67:17Uh 0.5 starts for the for him this year. I mean, I would think about maybe playing the over there. I think there's a chance
67:25that he he gets involved. Um Yeah, I can see Monken falling in love with him, but he's not good.
67:30>> your your biggest disagreements with me were probably, despite me being overweight on Antonio Williams, him, and then Brennan Thompson. Who else did I
67:38miss here? Yeah, I would put Ty Simpson a little bit higher personally.
67:43Um yeah, I mean, for the most part we see this one the same. I think that the sweet spot is Just think about the tight
67:48ends, the Kyler Delp Reardens.
67:50>> Yes. I did it with one of those guys.
67:52Kittle's gone. Kelce's gone. Like all of a sudden we're going to be looking around and we're like, all right, we have like the Colton Loveland, Tyler
67:57Warren, Brock Bowers guys, but like there's a lot of veterans, Dallas Goeddert here. Like all those guys are going to be out of our out of our lives.
68:04We're going to be scrambling to try to figure out who the next crop of tight ends are and I think those are the the
68:09not the blocking types. Like those are the guys who can play inline and win with explosives.
68:14I would just be like, could I could I nail my long-term tight end in the second or third round? Like to me, if
68:19you can just lock down that position, like I would view that as a win. And there's such a difference between, let's
68:24say, like the other three tight ends that were drafted in that same area and Boer Kircher and Sam LaPorta and Kasmerek versus Max Kler, Oscar Delp,
68:33and Reardon. While they're going to fulfill in many ways similar roles on teams, these guys actually have legit athleticism and legit receiving juice to
68:43them. So, that that is the the bet I want to make is those traits coming together with NFL coaching and then once they explode, it has just
68:53turned into some of the best values um in in dynasty circles. That's for sure.
68:57Yep, and then team Chris Bell until we die. There it is. All right. Again, later on this week we'll have initial
69:03running back, wide receiver, quarterback, and tight end rankings ahead of your drafting. Right now, you can do it over on Underdog. Uh shout out
