Bijan Robinson

NegativeUsage22:36

The Falcons attempted to force their entire offense through Bijan Robinson, but the strategy was effectively neutralized after the first quarter, resulting in unproductive play for the remainder of the game.

Insight page
NegativeUsage36:34

The Falcons attempted to force their entire offensive production through Bijan Robinson in Week 1, which Nick Shook suggests was a result of poor quarterback play.

Insight page

Cooper Rush

NegativeBust35:30

Nick Shook criticizes Cooper Rush's performance for the Falcons, noting that the team struggled significantly while trying to force the offense through Bijan Robinson.

Insight page

Derrick Henry

NegativeProjection23:40

While it is uncertain if Derrick Henry will replicate his week one performance every week, the source notes that he remains a productive player.

Insight page

Deshaun Watson

NegativeProjection25:04

Deshaun Watson's performance remains a concern due to inconsistent accuracy and poor decision-making, despite acceptable completion percentages, leading to questions about his status as the starter.

Insight page

Dylan Sampson

NegativeInjury26:11

Dylan Sampson is on IR and will be out for at least a month, creating a void in the Browns' backfield.

Insight page

Jahmyr Gibbs

PositiveUsage27:32

Jahmyr Gibbs handled an increased workload in Week 1, rushing for 156 yards and showing no signs of slowing down.

Insight page

Jaleel McLaughlin

PositiveSleeper26:35

Jaleel McLaughlin is highlighted as an interesting and high-quality practice squad call-up for the Browns following the injury to Dylan Sampson.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeUsage27:38

Jameson Williams put up significant numbers in Week 1, though he struggled with three drops and a fumble.

Insight page

Joshua Palmer

PositiveUsage23:12

Joshua Palmer made a game-changing touchdown catch in Week 1. Mitch Morse notes that while Josh Allen said he wasn't supposed to throw that ball, Palmer's consistent practice habits and full-speed effort on routes eventually paid off.

Insight page

Kenneth Walker III

PositiveUsage3:22

Kenneth Walker dominated in Week 1 with 173 yards after contact, breaking tackles consistently. Nick Shook notes that Walker provides the Chiefs with a reliable rushing option they haven't had since Kareem Hunt, which is an encouraging sign for the offense.

Insight page

Kyle Pitts

PositiveUsage22:23

Kyle Pitts was a non-factor in the Falcons' offense during their week one game, recording only one target and zero catches.

Insight page

Lamar Jackson

PositiveProjection23:25

Lamar Jackson looked fantastic in the Ravens' week one performance, executing the offense effectively including a notable bootleg pass to Zay Flowers.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

NegativeInjury28:14

Omar Cooper is week-to-week with an ankle sprain and is unlikely to play in the upcoming game against the Packers.

Insight page

Patrick Mahomes

PositiveRole2:13

Patrick Mahomes returned from an ACL injury and showed mobility, scoring a 15-yard touchdown run. The Chiefs offense leaned heavily on the run game, which Mitch Morse notes alleviates stress on the offensive line and allows Mahomes to be patient and take what the defense gives him.

Insight page

Sam Darnold

NegativeInjury27:42

Sam Darnold is dealing with a unique soft tissue glute injury with no firm timeline for his return.

Insight page

Saquon Barkley

NegativeUsage11:35

Saquon Barkley rushed for 83 yards in Week 1, though half of that production came on a single play. Nick Sirianni expressed concern that Barkley was hit behind the line of scrimmage on nearly half of his carries.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeInjury23:48

Zay Flowers is likely to miss the upcoming week due to a hamstring injury sustained after a productive 150-yard performance in week one.

0:00This is an iHeart Podcast. Guaranteed Human. or wherever you get your podcasts.
0:04The new NFL season is here and you should be listening to NFL Daily as we march along to Super Bowl 61.
0:11It is in the name NFL Daily. You'll have fresh content in your feed every day all season long.
0:17That game winning drive, maybe it's Herbert, maybe it's Gino, maybe it's Mahomes.
0:21We'll have the highlights. If Fernando Mendoza or any of the rookies are balling out, we'll break down the tape.
0:28Join me, Greg Rosenthal and an all-star cast of co-hosts as we preview and recap every game.
0:33Listen to NFL Daily on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts.
0:38So Mahomes was back on the field. Are the Chiefs now back in the AFC driver's seat?
0:44Maybe. Coming up on the NFL Report why KC's run is on again.
0:48Was week one the real Ravens offense or did Lamar Jackson just step on a horseshoe in Indy?
0:54Nick Shook has the answer to that. Plus, does Josh Allen have a week two encore?
0:59We'll ask his former center, Mitch Morse. That is next on the NFL Report.
1:03It is a week two Tuesday on the NFL Report.
1:06Hi there, I'm Andrew Siciliano. We're presented to you by Nationwide.
1:10Thank you for being here. There is a new number one of the power rankings.
1:15Nick Shook is standing off camera to bring you that joy coming up shortly.
1:19And as mentioned, Mitch Morse is here and the latest on Sam Darnold.
1:23But there was a game to end week number one.
1:26Our latest headline is a highlight. Can we do it that way?
1:30Sure. Because there's not a lot of news today.
1:33So let's just give you the highlight. Patrick Mahomes back exactly nine months to the day after his torn ACL.
1:39And on that opening drive after a Mansoor Delaney pick on his first drive as a first round pick rookie.
1:46Oh, he can run. He can run. It's a 15 yard touchdown for Patrick Mahomes.
1:51Buck and Aikman yell he's back. And all of a sudden, yeah, the Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl.
1:57They're up 14 to seven picking up here fourth and one early in the third quarter.
2:02Kenneth Walker is still going. Uh, he's gone. Basically his entire night after contact.
2:06173 yards. All he did was break tackles. The Super Bowl MVP with quite possibly the greatest Super Bowl MVP week one performance the following year.
2:15And then Andy Reid goes single wing flip counter.
2:18Mahomes and the Chiefs destroy. And I mean, destroy the Broncos 31-10.
2:21I just want to get out there and play like you.
2:25This is what you do it for. And I'm always able to play and go out there and my guys around me kind of helped me.
2:33So whenever I wasn't, I thought I didn't play my best football.
2:37We still were able to go out there and beat a really good football team pretty well.
2:42And it's because the guys around me stepped up and knew that they're going to have to help me as I kind
2:49of get back into the rhythm of things. Love the get up as well for Patrick Mahomes afterwards.
2:55Montser Delane had the pick sixth overall pick, and then he got the interception early.
3:00He left with a shoulder injury. Ian Rappaport, NFL Network insider, says that it's not that bad, at least for now.
3:07Now the Broncos were that bad. We'll get to them in a second.
3:11But hey everybody, Nick Shook is here as promised.
3:14NFL.com's own. You leave me hanging. Not Nick Shook is here.
3:17Let's talk Mahomes. Let's talk the Chiefs. They ran the football.
3:21They look good. They look like they were back.
3:23I'm going to ask Mitch Morse this later as well.
3:27Is it sustainable? This like, hey, we're going to run the football.
3:30Because I think Andy Reid eventually gets bored doing that, doesn't he?
3:34Oh, that's a good way to look at it.
3:37But I don't think it's going to be the total that you saw from Kenneth Walker in week one.
3:43And part of that is because of the defense he was facing and their lack of ability to tackle.
3:49But what I do think is an encouraging sign for this Chiefs offense is with Patrick Mahomes coming back from the ACL
3:56and maybe not being quite as mobile as he was in previous years and still getting some confidence with his legs, you got Kenneth Walker to lean on.
4:05The Chiefs haven't had a thousand yard rusher since Kareem Hunt.
4:09That was a long time ago. And I think Kenneth Walker is off to a heck of a start.
4:15And it'll really work out well, I think, for them if they can continually do this on a weekly basis.
4:21Right now, it's a good start. Yeah, it's a good start.
4:25And they're back in primetime again next week. They get Sunday Night Football NBC.
4:29They get the Colts. And then you have, as mentioned, the Denver Broncos.
4:33You can make the argument that what the Broncos did last night for a team that went to the AFC Championship game,
4:40for a team that has an eye on the Super Bowl, was the worst and most disappointing week one performance of any team in the league.
4:49Here's Sean Payton on Tuesday. Well, certainly a slap in the face.
4:52I mean, you know, when you come off training camp and your off-season program, you know, it's one thing to lose in
4:59a hard-fought game where you feel like you played well.
5:03I don't feel like we played up to our standard.
5:06And certainly that starts with us as coaches, myself.
5:09And so, yeah, I mean, it's disappointing. That would be a great way to describe it.
5:14A great way to describe it. Where do you want to go?
5:17You want to go Davis webcalling plays and Sean Payton's clear frustration talking to Laura Rutledge.
5:23You want to go all the missed tackles for Vance Joseph's defense?
5:26Dealer's Choice? What did this team hang their hat on last year?
5:30It was their defense, right? And their defense missed a ton of tackles, which just does not.
5:36They missed all the tackles. All the tackles in the world.
5:39It just doesn't work out well for them when they don't tackle well.
5:43And we saw what happened last night in the fact that they couldn't stop the Chiefs offense that they handled pretty well last year.
5:51So that's where we begin. And then you look at it on the opposite side.
5:56Bo Nix and the Broncos offense put together exactly one good drive.
6:00And I'm sure Sean Payton was very frustrated with their inability to sustain any offense.
6:04Those are things that they need to clean up and clean up quickly.
6:08The missed tackle number jumps off the screen of all the crazy stats from week one, highest scoring week and all that.
6:1528 missed tackles on Monday night in one game.
6:18All right. Like a third of their total for the entire year a year ago.
6:23For 247 yards after the missed tackles, which was the most yardage given up from missed tackles in a single game by any team in eight years.
6:32Yes. And it looked exactly like that. It was it was every single short game turned into a big game because they
6:39just didn't finish the job on defense where they were so good last year and they just were terrible last night.
6:45I want to ask you about the Cowboys bad defense.
6:49Stick around. We'll do that in a minute. Let's get some other news out of the way, including the Eagles.
6:55So we'll keep in the NFC East. Saquon Barkley speaking of a run game here and one that wasn't great.
7:01He had 83 yards rushing on Sunday, but half of it came on one play.
7:06Nick Sirianni more concerning for him is that Barkley was hit behind the line of scrimmage on nearly half on seven of his carries.
7:14Not every play can be an explosive play in the run game.
7:18You want to make sure you're staying ahead of the sticks.
7:21Now that doesn't mean that we ignore the issues that happened on those plays that average whatever.
7:26Right. Some of them were negative plays. Some of them were one yard game.
7:31Some of them were six yard games. We'll take those six yard games.
7:35But those plays count, you know, and then and when you're committed to the run game like we are, you know, you
7:42reap the benefits of that when you stick with it of getting an explosive in a situation which we're able to and
7:49to do that ended up setting up a touchdown.
7:52The Eagles beat the commanders. Washington gets Dallas this week and Sunday night.
7:56You might have noticed the Cowboys bad defense nearly 400 yards allowed and the Giants were nine of 11 on third down.
8:03It's part of the learning curve, you know, and we have to we have to get better, but we're going to make
8:10mistakes and you know, I see this defense every day and we did not perform well enough as a football team last night coaching and playing.
8:18It's certainly not the standard, but I'm also not ready to say the expectations for where we think we're going to get
8:25to as a defense and as a football team are not accurate.
8:29I always like to make the point that snark is not analysis.
8:33So when Christian Parker, the new DC said this is going to be a master class in defense.
8:39I'm not going to be snarky, but I can point out that those numbers are just awful on a national stage week one.
8:46Is it going to get better? Not only were the numbers awful, the lack of adjustments were terrible.
8:52I mean the amount of times that the Cowboys let the Giants target the flats repeatedly in the second half and unable
8:59to get off the field when they just needed one stop to try and go down the field and score a game
9:06time touchdown, which would have required a two point conversion.
9:09Instead, the Giants are able to just squeeze the life out of the Cowboys with a long drive.
9:15They win the physical battle. They win the schematic battle in terms of strategy offensively with that Isaiah likely touchdown right there.
9:22It's just a terrible performance from this defense that we expected a lot more from this year.
9:27And now you get injuries, now you get overshot out as well.
9:31You have to wonder aloud, do they have the corners to play this defense?
9:35Again, does it get better? Week one, look, you got to say new coordinator, growing pains.
9:41Week one is a liar or is there some truth?
9:44There is a little bit of truth, but I do think that they'll bounce back this week against a commander's team that
9:51gave the Eagles a run for their money. They definitely made it tough on them, but I think that the matchup will
9:58favor them a little bit more just because they won't be bullied as much in the trenches as they were in this game.
10:05That was the most glaring issue, I think, in this game against the Giants was how bullied they were in the box.
10:12And I think they'll be a little bit better there.
10:15And so that should work out better for them.
10:18It was really disheartening to watch them on Sunday night.
10:21Jaden Daniels can make plays with his legs, much like Jackson Dart.
10:25Do they run him as much this week as Jackson Dart ran next week?
10:30I don't know. Nick Shook, everybody, back with a little more power ranking magic and his week one takeaways.
10:36How about up? Coming up next, however, the stadium gets high marks.
10:39But will the team pass the test on Thursday night?
10:43It's the Bills, it's the Lions, it's former Bill Mitch Morse on the NFL Report straight ahead.
10:48The new NFL season is here and you should be listening to NFL Daily as we march along to Super Bowl 61.

13:45Allen in the shotgun, here's the snap. Four-man rush, back to pass.
13:49Fires, looking down on a post, complete for the touchdown!
13:52Joshua Palmer with a game-changing play! Joshua Palmer played in the game here last year, and he was far from healthy.
13:58A non-factor. He comes up with the play of the game.
14:02All that Josh Allen said he wasn't even supposed to throw.
14:05So, this guy had a great seat for that one.
14:09This guy's now a broadcaster. Welcome to the dark side after all these years as an NFL offensive lineman.
14:15Mitch Morse, pre- and post-game host for the Bills.
14:18How does that sound, man? It sounds a lot better when you say it, you beautiful, beautiful man.
14:23You've aged like fine wine. It's such a privilege to be on the network and to be with you.
14:29I appreciate you having me on. Mitch, it's a privilege to have you on.
14:34And I guarantee you it was a privilege to play with that Josh Allen guy, to now be a broadcaster describing that Josh Allen guy.
14:42Take me through that last play because, look, I know you could have had a pick on the previous play, but then
14:49Josh goes right back and he's not... Look, there are five eligibles, right?
14:53So, everyone could get the ball. But when he says he's not supposed to throw that ball to Josh Palmer, what does he mean?
15:01Oh, I think he means exactly that. It was startling to hear, to be honest.
15:05But that kind of speaks to what this team's about.
15:09And listen, Josh Palmer's probably run that in practice and in meaningful reps 30 or 40 times, hasn't gotten the ball, but
15:16he did it full speed with probably trying to get defenders off the other guys.
15:20And just because that's the case, you know that more often than not, eventually if you do the things the right way,
15:27the ball is going to get to you. And at this point in the game, I was having conniption fit.
15:34I mean, I was having an aneurysm. But that's what's so great about the game of football, week one.
15:40Usually you see some sloppy football, but this was really fun from both sides of the fence here, from the Texans and
15:47the Bills, just the competitive prowess from both of those teams, showing that they have high potent offenses.
15:52And it was such a privilege to... I mean, it's fun to be in a seat now kind of being a fan
15:59of the game, watching this thing play out, but extraordinary football.
16:03All right. Thursday night comes fast, Mitch, for players.
16:06You're going to learn it comes fast for broadcasters as well.
16:09But this Thursday is special. It's the new Highmark field.
16:13We saw it in the preseason. But this is a national unveiling for a beautiful new building, for an amazing fan base
16:20with a pretty darn good opponent coming in as well, isn't it?
16:23Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's... I don't know. It was... It's definitely a tail of two halves for the Detroit Lions.
16:29But if you look at the numbers and you actually watch the film, this team has still got the juice on that defense.
16:37Yes, they're missing Branch and Joseph as the safeties, but...
16:40You know how they masked that? They tried to kind of mitigate that was they blitzed almost 50% of the time.
16:47And these guys that they have on the D-line and the linebacker core, great football players.
16:52Jameer Gibbs didn't miss a beat, taking more of the workload, 156 yards on the ground.
16:57And Jamison Williams still put up some pretty big numbers.
17:00And he's probably... He's going to be lit on fire with those three drops and one fumble.
17:05This is a Dan Campbell coached team. We know this is a team that thrives on grit and thrives on those big moments.
17:13The emotions will be palpable moving across the street after playing in the Ralph for 52 years.
17:18This is a rabid fan base. It's so much fun to be a part of in this capacity as well as playing capacity.
17:25It's just got... It's an opportunity to be one of the most bombastic places to be this season.
17:31And they built the stadium, the new stadium, with the stands pretty much going straight up.
17:36So they want to make it like Seattle. They want to make it loud.
17:41You were there for the preseason. I can't imagine it was that loud for the preseason.
17:46Just how cool is this building overall? You're shaking your head.
17:49Maybe I'm wrong. So they built... Here's my favorite thing is they built the top.
17:54First of all, you're absolutely correct. They built it like a shot glass.
17:58And then they built the top as like, hey, we want to make sure it covers half the field.
18:04They did it exclusively for the sound because in the last preseason game, first of the Pittsburgh Steelers, it was about a 30% capacity.
18:12It's preseason game three. It's a, you know, it's a, what, Thursday or Saturday night rather.
18:17The place was on fire. You could still feel it in your bones.
18:21And what the Pagoula family did was make sure that they wanted a state-of-the-art facility, but they still wanted to pay homage
18:28or homage, however you want to pronounce that. I've heard it both ways.
18:32Fantastic. That's a huge name for me. Pay homage to what makes it so unique playing in Buffalo, which is the Western
18:39New York community and the culture surrounding the Buffalo Bills.
18:43They have artwork from local artists all over the place.
18:46The only thing that kind of throws me for a loop is that there's a lot more bathrooms and no more troughs.
18:53So it's not as grimy and grimy, but there's a plethora of them.
18:57And the things are very unique to Western New York and the drinks, as you might, as you might know, are flown.
19:04And it's a real fun place to watch football.
19:07I'm excited to see some meaningful football come into that stadium.
19:10Yeah. As a kid who grew up, I use the word trough.
19:14They are going to Cleveland Municipal Stadium. I, I hear what you're, I hear what you're saying.
19:19I buy what you're selling. Can I ask about the Chiefs real quick?
19:24How do you get to know your neighbors? I'm sorry, Rob.
19:27Yeah, go on. Exactly. So you used to play for the Chiefs, who don't remember.
19:32Back when the Chiefs ran the football. So Pat comes back last night, bad knee and all.
19:37They ran the football. Mitch, your old team. Are they going to run the football all year?
19:43Or is that just a one-time thing because Andy wanted to show off on TV?
19:48God, I hope it's not. I mean, that was just beautiful football.
19:51Kenneth Walker, what, 176 yards rushing the football. It just gives your offense an opportunity to be more multiple, to get in
19:58those first early downs, a more manageable third down.
20:01And what Pat has always been so great at and we saw early in the game is just being okay with being bored early and often, right?
20:10Like taking what's there, taking what's available, and then taking the shots when he needs to.
20:15I mean, look at the dude, the Holy Ghost had entered him and he takes off healthy and ever.
20:21I mean, listen, as much as the bills are slated against the Chiefs, I love Kansas City and it's good for football
20:28to have Patrick Mahomes back in the fold. And I still remember when, oh my gosh, the last Kareem Hunt in 2017.
20:35Yes. Being able to run the football and the dimension that added to that football club and the alleviated stress of an offensive lineman.
20:43And they have a core offensive line who's been together, if you said six years, this must be an old offensive lineman.
20:50I mean, those three or, you know, those two guys, if you think of Creed Humphries and Trey Smith are only in year six.
20:57So there's some vitality in that group. You got speaking of vitality year 15, Travis Kelsey and the Holy Spirit and that body and those bones moving around.
21:06It was a fun place to see Arrowhead alive and those guys do their thing.
21:11Mitch, we appreciate you doing this, man. Best of luck on this second career.
21:15God bless you, Andrew. Thank you, brother. All right, time for all shook up.
21:20I'm not going to sing, but this is Nick Shook and he's all shook up.
21:25He has his week one takeaways are available on NFL.com.
21:28If not, they will soon be shortly. I honestly thought Cooper Rush, Nick, gave the Falcons a better chance to win in Pittsburgh.
21:35Bucky Brooks called me insane. Where are the Falcons with their quarterbacks now?
21:39I agree with Bucky. I think it was very, very rough for the Falcons with Cooper Rush.
21:45Trying for a viral clip of the segment, something like that, whatever.
21:49Yeah, I know, but you can't do it. That's how bad he was with this offense.
21:54They tried to force their entire offense through B'John Robinson.
21:57B'John Robinson got to get that one right. And essentially it was taken away after the first quarter.
22:03They had a little swing pass for a touchdown.
22:05After that, it was unproductive. We know we saw the highlight with the TJ Watt pick six, which was pretty predictable given
22:12that they were trying to check it down. At one point in this game, most of his passes were behind the line of scrimmage.
22:20It's just you're lacking verticality in this offense, right?
22:23One target and zero catches for Kyle Pitts too.
22:26So how can you approach the next game if you're Kevin Stefanski, if you know that defenses are going to key on
22:33B'John and you can't push the ball down the field?
22:36And that makes me wonder how long of a leash is on Cooper Rush, because we don't know when Tua is going
22:43to be ready and when Michael Pennix is going to be ready.
22:47Could we see Jack Strand? That's my question at this point.
22:50You mean this week against the Carolina Panthers? Maybe not this week, but if it gets really bad, maybe.
22:56Okay. Pennix, I mean fingers crossed, is back with three?
23:00I hope. I hope. Potentially. And the Steelers, without Joey Porter, did not play a single snap of man the entire game.
23:07Didn't need to. Not one against Cooper Rush, and they win the game in the end with a TJ Watt pick six.
23:14It was, in terms of EPA expected points added, nerd notes, nerd numbers as he said.
23:19We like it. The Steelers and the Falcons, week one.
23:22The Ravens, obviously, were a little bit different. They looked good.
23:25I mean, Declan Doyle, first play from scrimmage. Lamar Jackson, under center, boot to the left.
23:30He's a right-handed quarterback. Hit Zay Flowers for like 50 yards.
23:34Is this real or fool's gold for the Ravens on offense?
23:37I tend to believe that it may be real.
23:40I don't know if you're going to get that performance from Derrick Henry every week, but the good thing is he's still Derrick Henry.
23:48Now, you're going to lose Zay Flowers probably for this week.
23:51He's got a hamstring injury, but you got 150 yards out of him before he exited the week one game, and he's historically very productive in week one.
24:00He averages 102 yards per game, so this is no different.
24:04But now they're going to have to find a different way to generate yards in the passing game.
24:10The good thing is also that you have Lamar Jackson on this team who looked fantastic.
24:15Everything worked well. Declan Doyle is front of the line for coordinator hire this offseason already after just one week.
24:21I am curious to see, though, how they're going to manage at receiver if Zay Flowers can't go.
24:27For what it's worth, Gage Larvardan, the former Brown who made the team last year, got a job last year as an undrafted rookie free agent.
24:35He signed the practice squad today. Don't know how long that Zay is going to be out.
24:40They say he could have come back in if it had been a playoff game.
24:45Do you want to push it? I don't know.
24:48It's a hamstring. I don't know if I necessarily buy that.
24:52The Ravens back at home, they get the home opener this week against the Saints.
24:56The Browns are still on the road. They're the only team that opens with two games, week one and two, in the state of Florida.
25:04And Nick Schuch's takeaway number three, Deshaun Watson is still the Browns' starting quarterback.
25:09It's tough. Next to Cleveland native, by the way, for the record.
25:13Yeah, and I was actually at the game against the Bills in the preseason, and it looked bad.
25:18And it looked bad on Sunday. And I know the numbers kind of lie when it comes to Deshaun Watson's performance because completion percentage-wise it was all right.
25:27But the first interception kind of defined the day.
25:30It was also the fact that he was just very inconsistent when it came to accuracy.
25:35He was under pressure a lot, and I do give him a break for that.
25:40But if you're Todd Munkin, you're in your second game now as Browns head coach, and you're in your second game on
25:47the road in the state of Florida to start the season, can you really trust Deshaun and really stand by your word
25:54that there were things that I liked in this tape, and I believe that he's going to improve, and it's a work in progress?
26:02Are you really trying to give your team the best chance of victory?
26:06Because with all due respect, I do think that Shador Sanders probably gives them a better shot.
26:11And Dylan Sampson is on IR. He's not going to play this week.
26:15He's going to be out at least a month.
26:18So the Browns' second-year running back still only 21 years old.
26:22Who is your change of pace back behind Quinchon Judkins?
26:25And they could not run the ball at all against Jacksonville.
26:28He goes on IR. I think Jaleel McLaughlin is an interesting, actually like a very, very good practice squad call-up.
26:35Yes. I'm not just saying this for fantasy, but they have a tall task this week against, who's the Bucs?
26:41Against Todd Bulls, Baker Mayfield. Yeah. Blitzes. Lots of them.
26:44Real quick, you were at that game against the Bills.
26:48I was at that game. We had Spiders in the booth.
26:51Do you like Spiders? No, I don't think anybody likes Spiders.
26:55I also don't like Torrential downpours, which we had some of those that year as well.
27:00Yes, but we had Spiders in the booth. There are also evidently Spiders in Buffalo.
27:04It's a spider. How do you feel about it?
27:07I don't like that. Yeah, he can feel the vibe and, you know, sometimes when guys are feeling a certain play and
27:14they're vindicated about that play, you're more apt to call it and it's more apt to be successful.
27:20So I think that's an advantage for sure. Good.
27:23All right. Thanks, guys. He also seems all shook up.
27:26Coming up. September 21st. That's like next Monday. Sign up today.
27:30Plus.nfl.com. Plus.nfl.com. Terms and conditions do apply. I said there's no news.
27:33I lied. Because week two is not a liar, but maybe I am today.
27:38This is officially from the Seahawks. John Boyle is one of their in-house reporters.
27:42An update on Sam Darnold's glute injury. It is a very unique soft tissue injury.
27:47The hip joint is unaffected. Short term injury. No firm timeline on the return.
27:52Pretty much what Ian Rappaport, Mike Garofalo, Tom Belisero.
27:54All those guys have been saying. Seahawks play the Cardinals in Arizona this week.
27:59Also, speaking of Mike, Kenneth Murray, former Chargers first round pick, who started last year for the Cowboys, visited the Texans because
28:06Henry Tuotuo is expected to miss time with a shoulder injury.
28:09By the way, David Montgomery, speaking of the Texans, will join us tomorrow on the show.
28:14Omar Cooper's probably not going to play this week for the Jets as they look to go to 2-0 and they face the Packers.
28:22He is week to week with an ankle sprain.
28:25The rookie out of Indiana had one big play and was significant in the Jets' resounding win in Tennessee over the Titans.
28:32All righty. We've got one more thing before we go.
28:35And our one more thing is actually teasing the next show.
28:39Power Rankings coming up on this, the NFL Channel.
28:42Nick Shooks, hot off the press, on NFL.com. Power Rankings.
28:45The Seahawks are the new number one. The Bills.
28:48The Ravens. The Cincinnati Bengals. What? They have one good defensive day and you put them at number four?
28:54What, are we kidding me? Jacksonville, Denver. The Rams.
28:57And the Bears. The rest of the list. The other 75% of the list, as mentioned, soon to be unveiled.
29:03Where do we go here? You want to go Broncos?
29:06Yeah, we'll go Broncos. They looked as bad as anyone in their six.
29:10Yeah. And the reason is they were number two.
29:13They were number two. We don't want to overreact to week one.
29:17No. We'll drop them four spots. Doing week one Power Rankings is miserable.
29:21It is. Because you don't know, is any of this real?
29:25It's all a lie. The Power Rankings are real and they're coming up next.
29:29Nick Shook has said rankings. Tell them in the show.
29:32Yes. And Colleen. Go on, everybody. Hey, I'm Mike Yam.
