Antonio Williams

PositiveBreakout19:08

Rookie with second-half championship upside tied to talent meeting opportunity. Derek Brown calls him "Baby Ra" (Baby Rothschild comparison), noting he can play both outside and slot effectively. Williams is the clear WR2 for Washington with contingent WR1 upside if Stefon Diggs gets injured. Last week he tied Diggs for team-lead target share at 20.7% and tied for team-lead in first-read share at 27.8%, demonstrating he's already commanding significant volume in the Washington passing attack despite not yet having a breakout game. Derek Brown projects Williams as a weekly flex/WR3-4 option depending on Jaden Daniels' performance week-to-week, with favorable schedule (Arizona week 12, Tennessee week 13, Houston week 14, Atlanta week 15, Jacksonville week 17). He can be acquired for free in trades right now due to low ownership (26% of leagues) and lack of a big game yet.

Insight page

Cam Ward

NegativeProjection11:41

Derek Brown notes Ward was the worst quarterback in the league the first six games but has improved significantly over the last couple weeks, delivering his best tape of the season. Ward has one of the quickest releases in the NFL and should operate in RPO schemes with scheme throws (slants, bubble-and-go) to exploit his arm talent and pace of play. Last week Ward showed efficiency with 8.7% RPO rate (fourth-best), 15% screen rate, 6.6 average depth of target, seventh-fastest time to throw, and seventh-highest first-read rate. However, Brown is not fully committed to Ward having arrived; these metrics reflect easy first reads and quick-hitting plays rather than progression mastery. Brown remains concerned about Ward's coverage recognition (struggled with disguised safety looks in preseason, showed improvement but still limited), pocket awareness under pressure, footwork consistency, and decision-making—citing a third-and-three sack on Cincinnati's 45-yard line in the fourth quarter as one of the worst plays of the season. The Cardinals have added a pace wrinkle and are now playing at the fastest pace in the NFL, which elevates the floor of the offense and complements Ward's quick release.

Insight page

Carnell Tate

PositiveValue11:25

Derek Brown views Carnell Tate as a strong buy-low candidate if Cam Ward continues the efficiency and touch-passing improvements shown against Cincinnati. Before injury, Tate held a 24.5% target share (Malik Neighbors role), 2.2 yards per route run, and 32% first-read share. Brown emphasizes the volume is there and Ward's improved play creates upside. Tate's upcoming schedule is favorable: Jacksonville allows significant yardage to perimeter receivers (bend-but-don't-break defense), Dallas is a plus matchup, Washington Commanders lack secondary talent, Detroit has injuries (DJ Reid out), Colts are a dumpster fire, Raiders can't guard talented receivers, and only Pittsburgh at week 17 presents a truly imposing matchup. Brown notes Tate has been frustrating for fantasy managers most of the season with inconsistent performance—he goes off when benched but underperforms when started—but sees better days ahead with the schedule alignment. Currently injured with shoulder injury status unclear, his trade value is minimal; Brown suggests he can be acquired as a throw-in sweetener for minimal cost ("old ham sandwich"), indicating he's essentially free in redraft leagues.

Insight page

Chase Brown

PositiveValue6:11

Derek Brown identifies Chase Brown as a buy-low candidate and recommends trading Justin Jefferson straight up for him. The strategic approach is to trade down from a higher-tier RB like Chase Brown to a pair of mid-tier backs (e.g., Jonah Coleman and Travis Etienne, or Breece Hall and another player) to increase depth and flex-position upside in future weeks while maintaining overall production. Brown states he would do the Chase Brown trade despite acknowledging Chase Brown receives criticism on the show.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

NegativeRole10:00

Potential competition for Javonte Williams in Denver's backfield; Derek Brown notes Denver has operated with a clear split between Dobbins (passing-down back) and RJ Harvey (early-down back), limiting Dobbins' overall volume. Dobbins cannot run routes, making him predictable in offensive scheme.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

NegativeValue9:06

Derek Brown identifies Javonte Williams as a buy-low candidate in Denver's backfield despite recent strong performance. Williams ranks first in explosive run rate (30 carries among 58 qualifying RBs) with 20% miss-tackle rate and faces a favorable schedule: Carolina Panthers, Raiders (twice), Dolphins, Jets, Bills, and Patriots—no imposing run defenses for the rest of the season. However, risk exists from potential RJ Harvey and JK Dobbins competition. Derek Brown acknowledges Shawn Payton likes elements of Harvey's game enough to assume he will get some of his role back; Denver has operated with a clear early-down/passing-down split between Harvey and Dobbins. Dobbins cannot run routes, making him predictable in offensive scheme. Despite upside that wins championships, Williams' volume is threatened and he's available at under-market value.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveProjection7:41

Derek Brown rates Jonah Coleman as RB22 rest-of-season and calls it a 'smash play.' Coleman's role has expanded dramatically: in his first game back from injury (on a stated snap count), he led the backfield in snaps (50%), rushing attempts, and ran nearly as many routes as RJ Harvey; last week he posted 68% snap share, 48% rushing attempt share, and 50% route share, effectively taking over the pass-down role vacated by Harvey (now on IR). JK Dobbins looks 'relatively washed,' clearing the path for Coleman. Brown emphasizes the schedule: Carolina Panthers, Raiders (twice), Dolphins, Jets, Bills, Patriots—no imposing run defenses. Among 58 qualifying RBs, Coleman ranks first in explosive run rate (30 carries) with a 20% miss-tackle rate. Bo Nix's checkdown-heavy offense amplifies Coleman's value. Brown also recommends Coleman as a buy-low target in a two-for-one trade package for Justin Jefferson, suggesting Coleman plus a WR could be acquired for Jefferson due to Jefferson's high name value masking his actual production.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue43:07

Derek Brown lists Josh Jacobs as a sell-high candidate for the Packers. Despite Jacobs' talent, the Packers are the worst running team in the NFL with a shambles offensive line. The offense is described as 'paper tigery'—relying on explosive downfield plays from Christian Watson and Matthew Golden to pad stats and score, but generating frequent three-and-outs and drives that don't amount to anything because the team can't run the football. This structural offensive limitation severely constrains Jacobs' fantasy ceiling.

Insight page

Justin Jefferson

NegativeValue34:57

Sell-high candidate despite elite pedigree and WR13 rest-of-season ranking across the industry. Derek Brown flags a "Grand Canyon size discrepancy" between Jefferson's ranking and actual production with Kyler Murray; he is producing as WR25 in fantasy points per game. Recent fantasy production is heavily dependent on touchdown variance—in the last three games, Jefferson has eclipsed 50 receiving yards only once, with his touchdowns coming on 50/50 contested balls that are difficult to project. Brown argues it's more accurately a 60/40 ball and Jefferson will eventually hit a cold streak where he doesn't convert those opportunities or faces better cornerbacks than recent matchups. Additionally, Derek Brown compares Jefferson's current situation to Allen Robinson under Blake Bortles, noting body language and motivation concerns; Jefferson displays sulking and ticked-off body language after bad targets from Kyler Murray, with the situation unlikely to improve if Carson Wentz takes over at quarterback. Brown recommends trading Jefferson for buy-low targets like Parker Washington, Rico Dowel, Jonah Coleman plus a WR, Luther Burden, Nico Collins, Chase Brown, or Parker Washington plus Rondre Stevenson.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveValue38:00

Derek Brown identifies Luther Burden as a one-for-one trade target for Justin Jefferson, stating he would trade Jefferson straight up for Burden rest of season. Brown notes this is notable given his reputation as a Burden skeptic on the show.

Insight page

Nico Collins

PositiveValue38:00

Derek Brown recommends buying low on Nico Collins as a one-for-one trade target for Justin Jefferson, indicating Collins represents better value than Jefferson's current production.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveValue26:03

Derek Brown maintains a buy-low stance on Parker Washington despite recent down games and Jacksonville's spread-heavy offense. Washington led the Jaguars in target share, snap share, and route share in the Bengals game despite a down performance, confirming his playing-time security against Travis Hunter competition. Against the Texans, Washington recorded 11 targets and dropped a touchdown—a potential monster game derailed by execution. His Bengals down game was complicated by coverage: he faced DJ Turner, one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL, on 63% of his snaps. Brown emphasizes that Jacksonville's third-fewest drives in the NFL and slow pace create a challenging environment, but Washington's consistent role leadership and target volume (11 targets vs. Texans) support his buy-low valuation. Upcoming schedule highly favorable: weeks 16-17 vs Cowboys and Commanders, plus matchups vs Bears and Texans rematch. Brown states: 'Absolutely go try to acquire him if you can' at wide receiver two price tag; best is yet to come.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

NegativeRole10:00

Potential competition for Javonte Williams in Denver's backfield split; Derek Brown acknowledges Shawn Payton likes elements of Harvey's game enough to assume he will get some of his role back, but Denver has operated with a clear early-down/passing-down split between Harvey and JK Dobbins. Risk factor for Williams' volume going forward.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveRole13:00

Benefiting from Cam Ward's improved play and the Cardinals' new pace wrinkle; Derek Brown notes Arizona has added a pace element to the offense and now plays at the fastest pace in the NFL, which elevates the floor of the offense and helps receivers like Pollard. This scheme shift complements Ward's quick release and creates more opportunities.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

PositiveValue2:45

Derek Brown identifies Etienne as a buy-low trade candidate eligible to return from IR in Week 9. Despite uncertainty about his practice status, Brown views him as an excellent trade sweetener or secondary piece in a deal, particularly for teams seeking to split a top-end player or add depth. The appeal stems from his favorable remaining schedule: Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers, Bengals, Packers, Panthers again, Buccaneers (twice), Cardinals, and Falcons all present soft rushing matchups. While the Bears' reformatted defensive line poses a challenge, Brown notes that outside that one tough spot, Etienne faces no imposing run defenses. Brown's confidence is further supported by Etienne's 17% missed tackle rate and the fact that potential workload threats—Alvin Kamara (injured) and Kendall Milton—are not credible concerns. Even Tampa Bay, which looks tough on paper, allows top-eight zone yards per carry and ranks 14th in zone rushing success rate, making that matchup manageable. Brown concludes Etienne "just feels like a free square."

0:05without it.
0:07>> I don't know. My head's a little more bulbous than yours. You know, >> it is, but we I wasn't going to go
0:11there, but you know, >> I just had a a Bears fan come at me and call me a Costco wardrobe ass Caleb
0:21Williams hater.
0:24First of all, Costco's got some decent shirts, okay? And that hit close to home and it wasn't even about me.
0:31>> Bro, [laughter] the funny thing is I wonder if this anonymous account actually knows me in real life because >> you buy a lot of stuff from Costco.
0:41>> All of my stuff is from Costco.
0:47>> My kids the other day said I have the vibes of a junior high school coach.
0:52I I teach uh American history on the side. Like I don't know what I don't know. They they couldn't even give you
0:58the credit of high school football coach. You had to >> No, junior high. They were My oldest daughter was very specific. It was
1:05junior high.
1:11>> Are you serious?
1:13What?
1:15That's awesome.
1:17So sick.
1:21>> [music] >> Week nine, buy low, sell high here on the Fantasy Football Daily Show. Today we are joined by a very special guest.
1:31Scott is out with medical. He's questionable for tomorrow's show as well, but we'll we'll get you an update on that. We have Derek Brown, Mr. Dro,
1:39joining the show today. Derek, how are you? I'm doing good, Brett. Uh yeah, filling in for Scott here. He's uh under
1:46the weather, under the knife. Um, hope better days are ahead for Mr. Barrett, but uh, anytime you can talk to We could
1:54talk ball, it's a good day, Brett. So, thank you, man.
1:57>> Well, anytime we get to Wally Pip Scott, it's it's a good day. You know what I mean? Who knows? Maybe
2:02>> maybe Scott will go on uh on uh IR, you know, temporary IR. We'll get Derek and Brett shows in as often as we need to.
2:11You know what I mean? Can >> Can we soft benching, so to speak?
2:15>> Oh, yeah. Lots of soft benchings in the world this week. I've seen Brett. Who knew? Sore hamstrings and stuff that
2:20we're not talking about today. But uh Trey, can we um rename this show uh Grover's Got to Go. Can we do that?
2:28>> Grover's Got to go.
2:29>> But whatever you need, we got it.
2:31>> Let's go, baby.
2:32>> Nice. Well, if you're not familiar with the format, every Wednesday, Scott and I do some sort of future outlook for the
2:38season. A lot of times it's buy low, sell high. Derrick's joining us, sticking with the same concept today.
2:43So, we're going to give you all the trades you need to be making in your reddraft leagues. We're helping you win
2:49fantasy leagues every single day. Let's get in with the B low candidates. You can see the four on the screen. We're
2:55going to start with Travis Hen. Did I get that right? You're you're from the Bayou. You know, >> yeah, I was just to say, you know, I
3:01correct you all the time. It's Travis Hn. So, you take ETN and Hn and you smush them together. Hen.
3:07>> Hn. Okay. So, I got it right.
3:09>> You got it right. You got it right.
3:10>> He's eligible to return from IR in week nine. I have not talked to to Jeff Mueller to know if that's realistic. Um,
3:17do are you familiar with the medicals?
3:19What's the update?
3:20>> So, I I know that he can return from IR.
3:22I haven't seen anything about him going back to practice and stuff and and Jeff and I Yeah, Jeff's my go-to on injuries
3:29as well. So, I'm always messaging Jeff when stuff pops up or I'm like the Christian Watson WWE saga uh that that
3:35unfolded. So, I haven't touched base with Jeff about him, but I do know that Han can possibly return from the IR this
3:43week. And dude, I just think that he's a fantastic player to get rolled into a trade. If you're taking a top end player
3:49and you're splitting him into two players or you're just trying to get a sweetener on top, >> then Achan is awesome, man, because he's
3:56sitting on the IR in somebody's bench or what have you. They haven't played him for for the entire season. And at this
4:03point, everybody's like, "Okay, well, the Saints rushing attack. Is it dead?
4:07Can he come back to life? What do we see in here?" Dude, I just look at the schedule for Travis Hen, and I see
4:14nothing but upside. Like, Brett, stop me. When When do we see a bad rushing match up for Travis Hen? Cleveland Browns? Nope. Carolina Panthers? Nope.
4:23Okay, maybe the Chicago Bears and their reformatted defensive line. Okay.
4:26>> Yeah. I mean, Jeff Jeffrey Simmons is changing the math, >> dude. He he was a beast last night. But again, after that, the Bengals, the
4:33Packers, the Panthers, again, the Bucks, who are quietly bad versus zone running.
4:37I'll get to that in a second. They gets them twice if you play in week 18. The Cardinals, the Falcons, there's really
4:43not an imposing matchup outside of the Bears. And Han, like my tinfoil hat theory was he came into this year banged
4:50up already because we saw out the gate, he was already splitting touches. They gave him the big contract in the offseason. And I was expecting workhorse
4:59uh level volume here, Brett. So if he comes back, who's threatening his workload? Alvin Chimera on one leg, Kendra Miller. No, no, thank you.
5:09>> I understand the offensive line is a concern, but before he go he goes out, 17% missed tackle rate. The matchups are
5:16all fantastic. Again, getting back to Tampa Bay, he gets them twice on this schedule. And while on paper they look like a tough run defense, AM was 75%
5:25zone before going on IR, Tampa Bay is allowing their top eight in zone yards per carry, 14th in zone rushing success
5:32rate. So even that matchup isn't that imposing. I mean, he just feels like a free square. Brett.
5:40>> Yeah, this is a tough one cuz you know on on one hand I'm like you know Scott and I have clowned Travis Hn on this
5:47show and >> you know he's not a great player but opportunity is what matters and we live in a world where running back production
5:55is scarce and it's very important for fantasy. So it's like >> Yeah. I I like what you said. You you you like kind of getting him as an
6:02add-on into a trade.
6:04>> Mhm.
6:04>> And sometimes that's actually a really smart way. It's like a a cloak and dagger approach. Like I'm gonna make it
6:10look like I'm trying to trade for this guy, but then >> I'm gonna also try to swoop this guy in the package. So, um I I know I'm able to
6:18put you on the spot probably more than I can Scott. What [laughter] What kind of packages you looking to do for for a guy
6:24like Travis Han?
6:26>> I mean, for he makes the most sense again if you're taking a player and trying to split him into two players.
6:31Like if you're taking some because everybody like talks about I know y'all don't talk about him on this show, but everybody talks about go buy low on
6:38Chase Brown. Well, if you're going to take Chase Brown and say you go down from Chase Brown to another guy that
6:44we're going to talk about later, like a Jonah Coleman and a Travis Han or um you can get Bree Hall and somebody or
6:53even Olly Gordon like if you're he makes the most sense if you're trying to increase not only your depth but maybe
7:00in in pre in future weeks you're trying to win from the flex as well. Brett, >> sure. No, I like that. And and I know
7:08this is not a betting show, but when I look at the schedule this guy has and the opportunity he should have when he
7:14comes back, >> I'm going to be really interested in keeping an eye on those props, those rushing props, cuz they are
7:20>> they're going to be low, right? The Saints have not been able to run the ball at any point this season. Actually,
7:24the best game they had rushing, I believe, was the game he got hurt in.
7:27So, >> um, yeah, those props should be low.
7:31they should be easily exploited and I think that would be uh kind of something I look forward to with some of these
7:37guys is checking out their prop market.
7:39But all right, let's uh let's move on.
7:41Jonah Coleman, you you put in your notes here, you have him RB22 rest a season.
7:47>> Um JK Dobbins looks relatively washed.
7:50RJ Harvey was a very effective pass down player. He's now on IR. Jonah Coleman, unless they make a trade here for a
7:57Jonathan Taylor or something to that effect. Yeah, this this seems like a smash play for the rest of the season.
8:03What do you see here?
8:04>> I same. I mean, I look at the schedule.
8:06I look at the opportunity and the thing that that really jumped out was not only what he did last week, but in the first
8:13game back, Shawn Payeyton in the media was saying he's going to be on a snap count. We're going to limit the guy. Oh,
8:18you limited him to the point of leading the backfield in snaps at 50%. He led them in rushing attempts. He had ran one
8:26less route than RJ Harvey in his first game back. Yeah. And then last week, 68% of snaps. He had almost 48% of the
8:35rushing attempts and a 50% route share.
8:37So basically, he was sharing the early downs with JK Dobbins, but he took over all of the RJ Harvey role. And does R.J.
8:44Harvey, even when he comes back, does he get that role back? Because what we've wanted for the longest time, and we got
8:50it with R.J. Harvey, even though he was incredibly inefficient last year, Brett, was having a workhorse back in this offense because Bo Knicks is going to
8:59feed you checkdowns. Bo Nicks does not go down the field. So, if Jonah Coleman can be a better version of anything than
9:06they've gotten from RJ Harvey or JK Dobbins to this point of this season, which it looks like he is, and Shawn
9:11Payeyton's willing to let him run with the volume, the schedule lines up also like it's a really small sample, dude.
9:18But in 30 carries amongst 58 qualifying running backs per uh fantasy points data, first in explosive run rate, he's got a 20% miss tackle rate. I mean, both
9:28of those numbers play, man. And then you line it up. He gets the Carolina Panthers, the Raiders. Good lord, man.
9:33The Steelers. Okay, that's a little bit better of a run defense. The Dolphins, the Jets, the Raiders, the Bills. You could run on the Patriots. There's not
9:41an imposing run defense he's going to see for the rest of the damn year, Brett.
9:46>> He The man gets Carolina, the Raiders twice, the Dolphins, and the Jets.
9:52>> That is like that's what dreams are made of. That is insane. you the only reason you're able to get him in any kind of
9:58trade Brett is the fact of we have been bamboozled by so many Broncos running backs over the last few years. So even
10:06seeing what we've seen over the last two weeks, you're still going to have some people that are like, "Ah, man, but RJ
10:12Harvey comes back. Oh, but they're going to work in some JK Dobbins. Oh, but they maybe trade for JT."
10:18>> Well, and to to that point, I think it's fair to acknowledge the risk, right? Oh, there is risk.
10:24>> But that's why it's on the buy low list, not the buy high list, right? Like we're trying to buy low. If you can't get him
10:30for what you consider under market, then then you know, pull your finger off the trigger. You're not you're not forcing it, right? It's why it's a buy low.
10:37>> Um, but yeah, it definitely comes with a little risk. I I do think Peyton likes elements of R.J. Harvey's game enough to
10:44assume that he will get some of that roll back for sure. But, >> uh, as Scott would say, upside wins championships, and I think there's a ton
10:51of upset here. I think there's a ton of upside and and you're buying low on that type of upside. But to your point
10:56though, what it what the way that Denver has operated with JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey has been a clear split. It is you
11:04were the early down back, you were the passing down back. I mean, Brett, you know this as well as anybody, man. I
11:10Okay, if you have a guy that can play on both phases of the game, that gives you more disguise in your offense. It's not.
11:16Okay. JK Dobbins is coming in, so it's got to be a run because we know sure as hell he's not running any routes.
11:23>> Exactly.
11:25All right. Carnell Tate, um, Tennessee Titans stud, rookie wide receiver. You're calling him a B low.
11:33Um, you know, before what, this last two weeks, he was performing at a super high level. Didn't play this week, right? Is
11:40that >> Yeah, he was out with a shoulder injury.
11:41>> Out with the shoulder. Kim Ward has seemingly turned the corner a little bit. I know you want to have a Cam Ward
11:47conversation. Maybe we should start there.
11:49>> Let's start there because so I I I wanted to pick your brain. I I dove into the Cam Ward film last night and I was
11:56told by social media this was the best quarterback film that that anybody had seen out of the entire NFL for the week.
12:02He is just playing lights out football.
12:05I I'm curious your thoughts because I got a lot of thoughts, Brett, about there's hope here, >> but let's let's not get too crazy. This
12:13isn't a donut shop. We're not glazing here. though. What's your thoughts on Wards from last week?
12:18>> I mean, I I think I kind of softly teed it up. I think he has turned the corner.
12:23Like, he was playing >> he was the worst quarterback in the league the first six games of the season. Like, he was awful.
12:30>> He was awful in the preseason. There was really nothing to hang your hat on like, whoa, this is >> this is um
12:37>> you know the there there's hope here, right? But the last couple weeks, I feel like he has turned a corner. They've
12:42been competitive in their last three games and a lot of that is they're just getting a much stronger baseline from from Cam and so it's promising man. But
12:51like do I think he's playing good like excellent? No. This was definitely his best game probably. I hopefully the social media buzz is that's what they
13:00meant is like this is the best Cam Ward tape we've gotten because I think that is true. Is it the best QB tape we've
13:06gotten? Not even close. There's several quarterbacks playing way better. So, uh, but does this elevate the floor of the offense? Absolutely. You're seeing that
13:13with Tony Pard as well, who I know we're going to talk about later today. Um, they've added this pace wrinkle, too, to
13:20to the offense where they're I mean, they're now playing at the fastest pace in the NFL and that really does help Cam
13:27Ward. Cam Ward is he has one of the quickest releases in the NFL. I've always thought they should live in this
13:33RPO world with him where they're they're giving him those those scheme throws, but they're not screens. their slants, they're, you know, they're running
13:41bubble and go, and there's a lot of opportunity to take advantage of that quick release with Tate because that that's really where he's special. That's
13:47where the arm talent shines. So, take the ball out of or take the decision-m away from him at times and let him
13:54exploit defenses with that quick release, you know, with his with that pace of play. So, I do like what I've seen. I'm just not fully committed to
14:00Cam Ward has arrived yet.
14:03>> I I'm exactly where you are.
14:04I I don't think that he's arrived. It was a lot of quick hitting throws, a lot of to your point RPOS's 8.7% per fantasy points data RPO
14:14rate which was fourth last week. He had a 15% screen rate. You also look at and this is one of the big and Cam Ward has
14:21even talked about this so I'm not like giving any kind of new information here but talking about reading coverages.
14:27>> Dude, he had a simple picture versus the Bengals. They ran single high at 67% of their plays, 15.2% 2% disguised looks.
14:36Now, the biggest like worries about Cam Ward for the preseason is when he got any disguised safety looks, he looked like he was lost, like just thrown out
14:45into the desert and didn't know what to do. Now, last week, did he look better?
14:50Sure. But, dude, it was all quick hitting stuff to your point, RPO stuff to where it was easy first reads, get
14:57the ball out of his hand. He had a 6.6 A dot. He had the seventh fastest time to throw and the seventh highest first read
15:05rate. So like did he play more efficient quarterback? Yes. But as Cam Ward arrived, no. And there were also still some concerning things on the tape
15:15whenever he did face pressure. There were moments where the pocket awareness wasn't there. He was drifting back.
15:21There were two or three throws off the top of my head that I remember to where he didn't set his base and yeah, he
15:28layered a throw or got it in there with touch passing like seven to eight yards down the field. But if there was a I if
15:34if that play had been run differently, Brett, to where he needed to throw from his base and be able to ratchet it up
15:40into a tight window, there's no way in hell he was going to make that throw because he's throwing falling back from
15:47a narrow base with his footwork looking like crap. So, it's like, did he look better? Yes. A lot of that I'm I'm
15:54putting on game plan, though.
15:58>> Oh, yeah. Yeah. That Well, that's but that's every quarterback. You you scheme you scheme around their strengths, they're going to look better. Go figure,
16:05right? And that that's what they're doing.
16:07>> I will say that that sack he took on third and three in the fourth quarter was one of the worst plays of the season
16:12from any quarterback.
16:13>> Third and three, you got the ball in the Cincinnati 45. believe the game was tied at that point with a chance to go win
16:20that game and he took a sack for like minus 12. Just completely takes the fourth down decision out of the coach's
16:27hands. You know, it's one thing to not convert, throw the ball away, whatever, protect it. It's another thing to completely take that decision out of the
16:35coaching staff's hands. Um, they had a a chance to go win win that game and I I felt like that was, you know, again,
16:41that was more of the same of what we've seen from Cam Ward throughout his career so far. up.
16:45>> Yeah, it is.
16:46>> But what does this all mean for for Carnell Tate? Sorry. Yeah.
16:49>> No, you're good. But getting this back to all the Carnell Tate is that if Cam Ward can even be some semblance of what
16:55we saw last week, like be efficient, get the ball out, and just deliver because some of the second level throws were
17:01nice. Like we saw a Cam Ward that was willing to layer the ball, throw us some touch, and everything wasn't a freaking
17:07fast ball. Those were the good things.
17:10So, if he can build upon this performance and play better moving forward, then Cardinal Tate is a wonderful bill, Brett, because we know
17:17the the role that he had before being injured and stuff. He was basically playing the Malik Neighbors role, a dude like 24.5% target share. He was
17:26producing a 2.2 yards per route run, a 32% first read share. Yeah, like Carell Tate, the volume is there and Cam Ward's
17:34playing better. He the better days are ahead and the schedule lines up. It's like when I look at the the upcoming
17:39schedule for Caro Tate, what matchup am I supposed to be absolutely scared about? Jacksonville's been giving up a lot of yardage to perimeter wide
17:47receivers. They've been like bend but don't break. Dallas, yes, please. The Washington Commanders don't have anybody in their secondary. That scares me.
17:54Detroit's playing better, but now they got injuries to DJ Reid. Uh the Colts, they're a dumpster fire. The Raiders can't guard anybody of of talent. and
18:03the Steelers. I mean, the Steelers at week 17, that's the most imposing matchup for the rest of the season for Cornell Tate.
18:09>> Yeah. What uh that's phenomenal stretch of games here. What is the injury prognosis on Tate right now? Do you know?
18:17>> I don't know what. So, I I went to the social media streets. I went to even the injury reports and stuff trying to get
18:23some kind of idea about what the the problem with the shoulder is. Like, I wasn't able to like find any specifics
18:29about it. So again, he I mean, Carninal Tate is another player that's been frustrating for most of the season for most fantasy managers. It's like when
18:37they don't start him, he goes off. When they do start him, he does nothing.
18:40>> So at this point, most of them are like, "Okay, I'm just done with him." And now he's hurt. So again, this is the kind of
18:47player where you can probably get him thrown in for like an old ham sandwich as a sweetener in a deal. I mean, Brett,
18:53do you think you're having to pay much more than that in the uh trade streets for Carnell Tate? I don't think so. No,
18:59not in reddraft. Heck no. No, he's relatively free. So, >> Yep.
19:05>> All right. Uh, next guy on here. My guy, Baby Ra.
19:08>> Your guy. Your guy. I had to throw him in here, man. Because I think that when we look at Antonio Williams, it's not
19:15just the talent, the the second half, rookie upside. We talk about this every year. Who are the guys that are leading
19:21people to fantasy championships down the back half of the season? A lot of those are rookies, Brett. where talent meets opportunity and we see them skyrocket.
19:30So, Antonio Williams, we know that he's the clear wide receiver too for the Washington Commanders. We saw this after the usage we saw last week. I'll get to
19:37that in a second. But also, he has contingent upside if Stefon Diggs gets hurt. Antonio Williams will be the clear wide receiver one for Washington. And
19:47then we get to the schedule. It's like, okay, the fact that they pushed because I was really curious walking into last
19:54week, they they made him the outside wide receiver and looking at their previous usage, I was like, okay, is that going to be Diggs? Is it going to
20:01be Williams? Cuz Williams is playing 50/50. Diggs was playing in the slot.
20:05They kept Diggs in the slot, but I don't know if that like Brett, do you think that's going to be a weekly thing where
20:10Antonio Williams is on the perimeter and Diggs is in the slot? like I felt like that was mostly matchup uh especially
20:16considering last week, but maybe I'm wrong with that.
20:18>> I think it had been trending that way. I I do know that my favorite tape of Williams coming out of college was his
20:24his season at outside wide receiver.
20:26>> Okay.
20:26>> Like he played slot his last year there out of necessity. They literally had no one else and that the way that offense
20:31runs, they they needed a >> you know high volume guy in the slot.
20:35But he his best work was out wide and so he can play both though. That's the nice thing about him. Like he's that's why I
20:41call him Baby Roth. Baby Roth's the same way. He can play outside in, doesn't matter. Um, yeah, I I'm pretty confident
20:47with with his ability either spot.
20:49What's interesting is Scott and I talked about him on the Waverwire episode.
20:53>> Um, and he's only owned in like 26% of leagues. So, >> crazy.
20:56>> Obviously, he might not even be a buy low, might just be an ad. Like, if you can just go add him, add him for sure.
21:02Scott fought me on the tier we we ranked him at, but ultimately I think this is a guy you want on your roster down the
21:08stretch, >> dude. If anything happens to Diggs, there's upside here where he could be a weekly wide receiver, too, tied to Jaden
21:15Daniels because nobody else would be threatening him for targets. And right now, he's in the weekly flex bucket, wide receiver three/4, depending on
21:22which version of good Jaden Daniels or bad Jaden Daniels get on a weekly basis.
21:26But going back to the usage, dude, he tied Stefon Diggs last week in target share for the team lead at 20.7%. He
21:35tied for the team lead in first read share at 27.8%.
21:38So, he's already commanding volume in this passing attack. He hasn't popped off with a big game. So, you can get him
21:46for the nice price of free in trades right now. And getting back to the schedule, dude, it's like, okay, well, Arizona week 12, Tennessee week 13,
21:55Houston, good lord, what version of their secondary do we get on a weekly basis? Then Atlanta in week 15, and then
22:01Jacksonville week 17. There are some good matchups upcoming, Brad.
22:05>> Yeah, totally agree. All right, another one of my guys, Casey Conpsion. Did you just put a bunch of my guys on this list
22:12to patronize me? Is that >> Well, this is our guy just to be real.
22:16Okay, but you know, but but also I mean, you know, when you could play to the crowd. No, but seriously, like these
22:22guys are all fantastic by Lowe's and KC.
22:25Not only do we get the eruption game because I already looked at that at at that matchup this week. I think he goes
22:30off against the Saints. So, this is definitely a guy you need to go trade for right now before this week because
22:36we've seen the type of upside already this year, Brett. Like, I know we've only got it really in one sample of
22:43games right now, but we could get it again versus the Saints because just going to the Saints matchup real fast. I
22:48mean, dude, they played a ton of single high, KC versus single high, 23% target per route run rate. The Saints are
22:54getting gashed by slot receivers over the last five games. the fifth the or excuse me, the highest yards per target, ninth most receiving fantasy points per
23:03game. So, not only can he give your team a bump this week, but moving forward, dude, he's in the weekly for leading
23:10that team in targets, he gets two matchups against the Bengals. I know one of those is week 18, but some leagues do
23:16play week 18, so it has to get talked about. But Cincinnati cannot defend the slot. The Raiders, yes, please, versus slot receivers. The Falcons, I'm not
23:24worried about their secondary.
23:26Baltimore's also given given up production to slot receivers. So it's like okay what again looking at upcoming schedules and I don't like to get too
23:35like I don't you won't see me like talking about rest of season schedule this is the best rest of season schedule
23:42like I look more at a granular approach of like matchups quarterbacks things like that if injuries happen stuff like that or coverage matchups but it all
23:51kind of lines up again for Casey Casspion to really like crush down the stretch Brett. Yeah. My only push back on you at all is just going to be like,
23:59is he actually a buy low? Is one like has he had the the massive game in what, week seven? Has a down game in week
24:06eight. Was that down game in week eight enough to truly make him a buy low or fantasy manager still clinging on to
24:11that week seven hope?
24:13>> I think they're going to look at the week seven as an outlier and they played the Tennessee Titans and the Tennessee
24:18Titans are a god- aful secondary and everybody goes off versus them. So, >> okay, >> to your point, if he would have built
24:25upon that game and and had two really strong gains in a row, then I think we would be looking at, okay, the trade
24:31price is higher. Then then then we're going to have issues. But considering he fell right back to earth, people are going to say, oh well, here's the
24:39outlier. Look at the whole season sample. He's not that good, but then he's going to destroy the Saints this week. So, this is why you need to go get
24:45him right now because once he does that, yes, the price of the brick is going up, Brett. Also, I mean, I know you you
24:52didn't mention the Texans early. They play the Texans week 10. Their their pass defense has been awful this year.
24:56>> Awful. Awful. Yep.
24:58>> Parker Washington, uh, perpetual buy low because he was one of Scott's exodious, and that's just the kind of year we're
25:05having over here with Scott, but uh, yeah, I mean, I'm still all in on Parker Washington. It's just a little tough
25:11because like Trevor Lawrence has taken on the Drake May mantle of hey I'm just going to spread the ball around and it's
25:20I mean they had like a 10 different players catch passes the other day. It's kind of nutty but where you at on Parker
25:25Washington?
25:26>> So I I think there's a lot of like weird what's going on with Jacksonville. Like if I were to tell you Trevor Lawrence uh
25:33or at least the Jacksonville Jaguars offense has the third fewest drives in the entire NFL. I think people would be surprised by that. Now, yes, they're
25:41playing at the fifth slowest pace, so that doesn't help like that counteract, but like this is also a team that like,
25:47dude, they've been in so many like wonky kind of game scripts where they blow they they they absolutely crush the Browns, they crush the Colts, those
25:55games go sideways. And just for everybody, it's like I think some of the Travis Hunter stuff of like him popping up and people being like, "Oh, see
26:03Parker Washington's getting taken off the field. It's Travis Hunter time, baby." and they're like, "Oh, see he had another down game." Well, last week when
26:11the game script went sideways, he still led the team in target share, snapshare, and route share. So, playing time's still there. And then you look at, okay,
26:21fine. People like, oh, well, he didn't have a big game versus the Texans. He had 11 freaking targets, Brett, and he
26:26dropped a touchdown. Could have been a monster game. And then he had a down game versus the Bengals, which again, I
26:32think people look at that and they say, see, he's really not that guy. Okay, fine. He got shadowed by one of the best
26:38cornerbacks in the entire freaking NFL.
26:40He dealt with DJ Reed on 63% of his uh snaps. So, there is stuff here where >> You mean DJ Turner?
26:46>> DJ Turner. Yeah, DJ Turner. And yeah, definitely not DJ Reed. Sorry. Shout out to the Lions. But DJ Turner. And the
26:53other part about it, dude, is his upcoming schedule looks great. I think the volume is going to be there. I think
26:58they're going to have moments where if Tennessee and Cam Ward can push them. If not, dude, we just talked about Tennessee's god off versus slot
27:06receivers that are god off versus any receiver just in general. You could still throw on the Bears, the Texans again, gets a rematch with them. And
27:14dude, week 16 and 17, he gets the Cowboys and Commanders. Like, it's just it's all there for Parker Washington to really ascend to what we all think and
27:24hope and we've seen glimmers of to be a truly like wide receiver one on a weekly basis. And yet you're still able to
27:30probably go out there and kick the tires for a lot of fantasy teams and say, "Okay, can I get him at a wide receiver
27:36two price tag? Let's go."
27:39>> Yeah. The thing that I would ask Scott the same question if if he and I know he'd put Parker on the
27:45buy low anyways. So the thing that would really stand out like is he actually a buy low? Are fantasy owners disappointed
27:52with Parker Washington?
27:54>> Because remember one of the reasons he was in Exodia is because he was mispriced. Yep.
27:59>> Right. And so, but if you still drafted him at his relative ADP, is he actually been disappointing? Probably not. So,
28:06like, are you you might not be super eager to trade him, I guess, is my point, cuz he he's probably occupying
28:11your wide receiver four spot on your fantasy team, which he's probably fine for that. So, it's like I I agree.
28:18Absolutely go try to acquire him if you can. I I do think the best is yet to come. Um the Jacksonville, you know,
28:25being dead last in the NFL and drop backs is the most salient point you have. It's like all the efficiency metrics are still there for Parker. The
28:31second they get into some game scripts where they have to throw it, >> he's going to pop off. So I I totally
28:36agree. I'm just I'm just stretching the brain a little bit here.
28:39>> But to to your point though, if he is the wide receiver for if a team This is where it's going to be league to league
28:46dependent and fantasy manager dependent one. Dude, I have gotten so many Discord messages and texts from people this week saying, "Do I sell Parker Washington?"
28:54So, that's why I wanted to bring him up on this show because I've gotten these messages from subscribers on social media and stuff. They're like, "Okay, is
29:02the Parker Washington dream dead? Is it over? Yeah. Was it ever really there?"
29:05And the other part about this, if he is your wide receiver, three or four, depending on where you got him in
29:10drafts, if you're one of these teams that you stumbled upon like a Tony Pard, an Ali Gordon, um any one of these, like
29:18if you have also superolous running back depth, you go trade for Parker Washington because running back is a dumpster fire once you get past like top
29:2715 running back. So if you have any type of running back depth right now or even a guy like say like a Blake Corm who's
29:32getting it done on touchdowns and efficiency but the volume is not there on a week- toeek basis.
29:37>> Can you go trade one of these guys to get a Parker Washington? I think it's a deal you can make Brett.
29:42>> Awesome. All right. The next guy rounding out the Boss is Rico Dole. And this is interesting because Scott's a big Jaylen Warren guy. I've contended
29:53all season that Rico Dott is in the same talent tier as Jaylen Warren. And uh and so I don't think there's any reason
29:59Warren should just hold this backfield hostage. Evidence proved itself out this past week. Rico D second game back. They were almost in a 50/50 time share. Now
30:08the touch is still skewed heavily in Jaylen Warren's favor, but I think looks really good. Um give me your Rico D
30:16breakdown.
30:18>> He is cheaper Blake Cororm and he has just as much upside because I think you look at how the Steelers want to
30:24operate. They've kind of vacasillated like their their offense has gone from checkown city to Jameus Rogers town to where he's just yoloing it up to DK down
30:33the field. I think they've kind of settled into this nice run first approach. Brett >> and the the upcoming schedule. It really
30:41lends itself to where they can continue to do this allow Rogers to play game manager. He does he doesn't get forced
30:47into like these pass heavy like game scripts. Hopefully they can continue to impose their will and run the ball. And if they do that, the touches are going
30:54to be there for Rico Dao. Like the rest of the season schedule, Brett, they get the Bengals. Yes, you in week 10, you
31:00could run on them. The Eagles run defense is a disaster right now. Denver is improving, but they still can't t uh
31:07they can't tackle anybody. Houston's a tough matchup. Jacksonville was a tougher matchup, but now Devon Hamilton's out, so I think we're going
31:14to see some leniency there. Baltimore's a tough run defense, but then they get Carolina and Tennessee to close the uh regular season. And going back to Rico
31:22Dowel, dude, he sped quietly the RB21 and RB25 over the last two weeks. To your point, he ate into Jaylen Warren's
31:29workload even more last week.
31:32Now, he didn't get a ton of the passing game work, but if you go back to the previous week, he got a crap
31:38ton of targets. And quietly last week, he had the same number of routes and route share as Jaylen Warren. So, while
31:44he didn't get the targets, he was running the routes. So, the targets will come with Aaron Rogers under center. And last week they split the red zone work
31:52straight down the middle. Each player got >> Yep. So he has touchdown equity in this offense. The schedule lines up. He's a
32:01player that probably on the weekly is going to sniff anywhere from 10 to 15 opportunities. I mean, tell me how he's
32:06not just cheaper Blake Cororm right now with the upside for just as much work, dude.
32:12>> And you look at the the passing environment. The Rams are struggling to pass the ball. the Steeler. I've contended several times this season. The
32:20Steelers look the best when they commit to being the Steelers and the old school Steelers that we know and love.
32:25>> When they've when they've gone into games with the mentality of we're going to rip your face off with the ground,
32:29their offensive line looks great, by the way.
32:31>> That's when they're at their best. So, it's annoying because they have like the sixth highest pass rate over expectation in the NFL. It's like, can we just, you
32:39know, realize, you know, Aaron Rogers is is a little bit washed, still got a good arm, but he can't move. and then just
32:45lean into this this two-headed running back approach and and really smash teams with it. I think that's by far the best
32:51approach. I love the Rico D call. He's he's basically free.
32:55>> He's free.
32:56>> Free and you're getting close to RB2 production. And to your point, Brett, real fast, >> dude.
33:04There's two teams that have more yards before contact per attempt right now than the Pittsburgh Steelers.
33:09>> The Bills and the Rams. That's it. So, you're getting an offensive line to your point that is going to open up holes for
33:16these running backs. So, now we're going to see explosives and then the per touch metrics for Rico are quietly really freaking good, man. Like, I didn't pop
33:24this open until this morning, but 2.57 yards after contact per attempt, a 17% miss tackle rate. Yeah, that'll play.
33:32>> Yeah, Scott would tell you, "Well, but it's not as good as Jaylen Warren."
33:35Well, yeah, but Jaylen Warren is the most underrated running back in the entire freaking NFL, so I'm not asking him to be as good as Jaylen Warren.
33:42>> Yep. Bingo. All right, we're going to move over to the sell high list, but before we do, I have to tell you about
33:49our inseason betting package here at Fantasy Points. We're not even through week eight, and our betting analysts are already up a combined
33:5754.8 units with a 16.3% ROI. That basically means if you put $100 per unit behind all of their picks, you'd be up
34:07$5,500 already this season. Our head of projections, Chris Wet, is up 34 units himself. Our head better, Tom Broly, is up another 17.4. They're hitting over
34:1760% of their bets. We're only eight weeks into the season with 14 weeks still to go, including playoffs. You don't want to wait another week. Promo
34:25code grinder gets you 70% off right now on the inseason betting package. That's promo code grinder. It brings your first month down to just 5250.
34:35Um, yeah, you don't want to miss another week. This is the I shoot I I mean I wish I could bet on all platforms, but
34:42I'm tailing the bets that I can and uh it's it's been pretty amazing. So definitely get in there for inseason betting package on fantasypoints.com.
34:52All right, paid the bills, Derek. Now it's time to talk sell high candidates.
34:57Let's start with Jay Jettis. Justin Jefferson. Now listen, when you say sell high and Justin Jefferson in the same breath, please note it is not because of
35:06what he's done on the field this year, it's because of the resume prior to because he hasn't done anything to warrant being called a sell high.
35:15However, it's Justin freaking Jefferson we're talking about. But I totally agree with this one, but I am very eager to hear your take.
35:23There is a Grand Canyon size discrepancy between his fantasy production with Kyler Murray and where he is ranked right now in rest to season rankings. He
35:32is wide receiver 13 across the industry.
35:36Although with Kyler Murray, he is producing as the wide receiver 25 in fantasy points per game Brett. So basically just off of name value alone
35:44matching production. I want to sell Justin Jefferson. Get Parker Washington in a plus. Get Parker and freaking Rico Dowel. Go out and get a lot of these buy
35:53lows that I've already mentioned here.
35:55Can you get Jonah Coleman and a wide receiver, too? You could probably do that because the name value of Justin Jefferson is cashing checks that Kyler
36:05Murray can't even look over the counter to even access, man. Is >> like it's bad. Go ahead.
36:11>> Is Justin Jefferson the Patrick Mahomes of wide receivers?
36:15>> He is.
36:16>> Whoa.
36:17>> He is. Dude, we talked about this, you and I, back and forth last year where it's the body language, the motivation.
36:24Even if you go back to the separation score and the route win rate, they fell off last year. This year, >> no one wants to hear it though, Derek.
36:32No, it was JJ McCarthy and Carson Wentz's fault.
36:35>> Dude, it's it's everybody else's fault but Justin Jefferson. And I'll give you one even uh I'll go a step further here.
36:41Is he not just the new Allen Robinson?
36:43Remember when Allen Robinson was so pissed off at Blake Blake Bortles that he was like, I can't get a freaking catchable target. That's the same vibes.
36:52And people go to the social media, look at Justin Jefferson after a bad target from Kyler Murray last week.
36:57>> He's sulking. He's ticked off. You think that's going to get any better if Carson Wentz is under freaking center?
37:02>> No, we saw it. We saw it last year. He was miserable.
37:05>> He's miserable. He's miserable.
37:07>> But but the play's also falling off.
37:10>> And maybe maybe that's the gaff has run out. It's like Devonte Adams in Las Vegas. The gaff might be all-time low.
37:17Maybe something happens to get him bought back in, but >> I don't know. As of right now, this is this is a grim situation for one of the
37:25best receivers I've ever laid eyes on. U it's just it's a little uh little not fantasy friendly for you right now. If
37:32you're a Justin, if you can like would you flip Jefferson for say a Parker Washington and a Jonah Coleman? I would
37:38do it a two for one. Normally we like the one side of two for ones, but you would do that two for one.
37:44>> Heartbeat.
37:44>> What's a what's a one for one player you'd flip Jefferson for?
37:48>> I think looking at one for one.
37:54I'll take Luther Burden rest a season.
37:56I'll buy low on Nico Collins. So, it's it's it's not crazy you said Luther Burton because I'm considered the Luther Burden hater at this company and I said
38:05on last week's show I would do Justin Jefferson for Luther Burton straight up.
38:09So, >> yes. Yes. Um I would even go and I know you know he gets a lot of hate on this
38:14show but I would even go like Justin Jefferson straight up for Chase Brown.
38:18Um you can't buy low on Bashel Tutin now but like along those lines man like could you get like a Parker?
38:26>> I would do the Chase Brown one also.
38:28Yeah. Could you get Parker and Raandre Stevenson? Could you do that trade, Brett? Would you where you get an RB2 and a wide receiver one? I would do any
38:35of that. But also with all the Justin Jefferson production, the touchdowns he's had over the la two of the last three games are really carrying the day
38:43for him as far as fantasy production because in the last three games, Brett, he's eclipsed 50 receiving yards only once. Once.
38:53>> And didn't even do it against the Lions.
38:55>> Yeah. Once. So, >> and all his touchdowns are insane ball winning, by the way. They're not even >> dude, >> which it's not to it's not to discredit
39:04the wins. They're awesome, but it's like it's really hard >> to project that.
39:09>> Those are tossup. Those are toss up 50-50 plays.
39:11>> There's a reason they're called 50/50 balls, right? And he's running hot on them right now. And he's amazing at them. So, let's not So, maybe maybe it's
39:18more a 60/40 ball for Justin Jefferson if we're being honest. But still eventually he will hit a cold streak where he's not catching those or or a
39:25couple get broken up or he runs into a better corner than than the guys he he's been facing and and we don't you know we
39:31don't see that. So >> to to your point if he doesn't catch those two touchdowns he's not even making this sell high list. Everybody is
39:37going to be out with the PITCHFORKS AND SAYING AH JUSTIN JEFFERSON SUCKS BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. But also going like
39:43on the schedule real quick, the rest of his schedule does like he's got some good games in here, but also like do do
39:50you think this week or Yeah, this week going up against the uh Bills, do you think Benford shadows him? Because I
39:56think it's a possibility. They've had him shadowing less this year though.
40:00>> Yeah, which is, you know, I don't know.
40:04I I don't know. The Bills defense is such a chaotic mess right now. Kind of a mess right now.
40:08>> Yeah, I'm not sure.
40:09>> Um I'll keep an eye what he thinks. Joe Marino that is. And uh I'll get you an answer on that. But
40:14>> all right, let's move over to T McMillan. T McMillan, a player I think you and I both love, but >> love him.
40:20>> Bryce, maybe now that Halloween's over, he'll revert to not being a pumpkin, but he definitely was a pumpkin leading up
40:26to Halloween. So, >> and then Jaylen Coker's emergence is for T McMillan as well.
40:31>> So, >> so it it's a confluence of a few different things. Which version of Bryce Young is real? You also still like we do
40:38have the sticker price on Tedro McMillan where it has been recent enough to where the Carolina Panthers passing attack has been potent like where they've kind of
40:48been they're not similar to Green Bay and outside of the sense of like chuck it up and Ted's down there somewhere and
40:54so Bryce Young coming back to earth if that holds Ted McMillan's value is going to crater Brett and I think there's a
41:01decent chance of like that happening.
41:03So, it's like it's not just trying to get out before we see the the like the real consistent fall off and then you're
41:09just like, "What do I do with Ted?"
41:11Also, the upcoming schedule isn't great for him, dude. And whether it is a a mix match of corner uh matchups or it's the
41:20Bryce Young of it all, week nine, he's probably going to see Patrick Certain in his back pocket. Okay, fine. We is a
41:26bounceback against the Saints. So, he blows up in that game and you're able to sell him. Uh the Ravens, another good
41:32game. Tampa Bay has been awesome versus perimeter wide receivers. Minnesota is gonna blitz uh Bryce into oblivion. Then he gets uh the Cincinnati Bengals in
41:41week 15. Hello DJ Turner. Week 16, the Steelers perimeter corners. And then bro, he gets the Seattle Seahawks in week 17. No thank you.
41:49>> The fantasy championship against Seattle. Not great.
41:51>> It's like in two of the three fantasy playoff weeks, DJ Turner and then Seattle. So, it's like, is Ted Roman
41:58probably leading you to a championship even if you hold on to him? Probably not.
42:05>> Yeah, dude.
42:06>> So, like his his fantasy playoff run is is is brutal.
42:09>> It's brutal. And this is the time if you're going to cash out the chips and say, "Look, I got all I I squeezed all
42:14the juice out of this lemon." This is the time, I think.
42:18>> Yeah. My only push back on this one, and it's not even a ton of push back, I just don't know if he's actually a sell high.
42:24I don't know if the perception league round is is still going to be high on him. I think most even casual players
42:30have seen Jaylen Coker outproduce him and at every turn when they're on the field together. They also are very aware they're acutely aware of how volatile
42:40Bryce Young can be. And I think those two factors might listen if you can sell high absolutely do it. If you can get
42:47more like a higher than market return on Ted McMillan, which is ultimately what a sell high is, you got to you got to take
42:52that opportunity. I'd even say sell neutral to be honest with you.
42:56>> I would sell neutral. I'd even sell for like 80 cents on the dollar.
42:59>> That's where I'm at.
43:01>> Yeah. We don't do a sell low bucket, but if we did, you could argue Ted McMillan's in the sell low bucket.
43:06>> Yes.
43:07>> All right. Next on the list, I don't even really want to have a long conversation about this >> no >> human being, but Josh Jacobs, running
43:15back, Green Bay. Even if nothing else comes out with the legal stuff, let's just pretend like he's good. He plays the rest of the season.
43:21>> Yep.
43:21>> Packers are the worst running team in the NFL. They freaking suck.
43:25>> Their offensive line is in shambles.
43:28and they they have this very paper tigery offense where it's like we're just chucking yolo balls and we're going to convert on, you know, a bunch of them
43:37and and we'll pad the stats and we'll we'll score on those drives, but they're also going to have a ton of three and
43:42outs. They're going to have a ton of drives that don't amount to anything because they can't run the football and their entire pass game is contingent on
43:47Christian Watson and Matthew Golden winning downfield.
43:51I don't disagree with anything you just laid out there, Brett. And the the reason I put Josh Jacobs on here is not
43:56the the legal stuff. I'm worried like with this quick ramp up that even if the legal stuff doesn't come back to bite
44:02him in the butt. It definitely could.
44:04Yeah. That you talked about the offensive line, dude. 0.88 yards before contact per attempt with his carries.
44:10That's it's god awful. He has no room to run. But also when he is running, he looks like he's running in mud. He looks
44:16like he's literally been sitting on the couch for the last few weeks. Like he looks like Yeah, >> he he I mean, dude, 3.7% explosive run
44:23rate, 1.47 yards after contact per attempt. The other part about all this is I'm sorry, man. Like this kind of quick ramp up just screams like he's
44:32going to have some kind of hamstring pull, knee injury, compensatory injury when in his second game back, Brett, they give him 27 freaking touches. Like
44:43I think >> Yeah, but how'd that go, Derek? How'd that go?
44:45>> It [laughter] it didn't go well. He put up a Raandre Stevensonesque statline. He got there with touchdowns. But I think
44:51fantasy gamers are going to look at and say he's getting a crap ton of volume.
44:55Even if he is he's new uncle Lenny and he just sucks out touchdown volume, then I worry about the injuries being ramped
45:04up to this type of volume, no training camp, very short shelf life as far as doing the ramp up. And then you add the
45:11legal stuff, the offensive line, all the other things on top of all that. Oh, and by the way, Brett, the Green Bay Packers
45:17have also been rumored to be in the market for Jonathan Taylor. So, any way this goes, get him the hell off your
45:23team.
45:24>> Yeah. What's a what's a one to one you you'd move on Jacobs for right now?
45:29>> DJ Moore.
45:32>> Okay, I like that.
45:33>> I uh DJ Moore, I I'll even throw at your boy J Mo here, but J Mo's coming off of a lot of freaking awesome games. But
45:40this is all to the also to the point >> Wait, hold on. I have to throw a flag.
45:44His awesome games have come since what point in history?
45:48>> Do we do you know? Do you know the answer to this question?
45:50>> Oh, no, no, no, no, no. Please tell me.
45:52>> Since Scott buried HIM ON THIS SHOW.
45:55>> SCOTT went on a 10-minute I hate J Mo rant.
45:59>> And since that moment, J Mo is the wide receiver eight in fantasy football.
46:03>> He is. Yeah.
46:04>> And it just it's very uh >> So, if Scott comes on here and says good things about him, is Jammo going to go
46:10back into the closet? I have >> he's trying to reverse jinx him already.
46:13He's tried the last two weeks.
46:13Hasn't hasn't happened yet >> cuz he doesn't want to own that elm. I I've I've heard it on the shows, no
46:18doubt.
46:19>> Well, and JMO is he does have a volatile play style. His role in the offense makes him volatile. He's not the number
46:24one. And there's games he's not even the number two, right? And so, yeah, he'll have those up and down swings. Maybe
46:31we're about to hit one. I don't know.
46:32But point being, I would absolutely trade Josh Jacobs for Jameson Williams.
46:36I think JO's going to give you a lot of big upside weeks. They still have a soft schedule, too.
46:41>> Carell Tate. I would do it for Cornell tape, >> but but >> you're push you're pushing a little bit because the RB scarcity thing, but
46:49>> I'm pushing a little bit, but this is also talking about the running back scarcity thing because running back is so scarce and you can point to any
46:57fantasy manager out there and say, "Look, bro, he got 27 touches. I get everything you're worried about and I get everything you're saying. He's still
47:05getting an RB1 level workload. He has the touchdown equity. He has pass game chop, >> thus making him a true sell high. I get
47:12it. I get the point. Okay.
47:14>> You're able to you're able to package this together like a used car salesman and say, "Here, take this wonderful horrible trash. It's wonderful. It's
47:20beautiful."
47:21>> I don't know that I would call Carnell t a sell high return though.
47:25>> No, that's fair. Yep. I agree.
47:27>> More of a neutral or even 85.
47:29>> No, I'm just setting the floor of what I'm willing to take.
47:32>> Yeah. Gotcha.
47:34Good stuff. Um, Garrett Wilson. Scott and I hit hit this hard on the Waverwire show. We've been talking about him a lot
47:40the last few weeks in general where Scott keeps calling him a beta wide receiver. I don't I don't think he's that. I think he's still a fantastic
47:47player, >> but the Jets are running into a problem where they have an abundance of riches at pass catcher.
47:53>> Adnai Mitchell looks fantastic. Omar Cooper looks fantastic. Kendon Sadique has had moments. Mason Taylor's a dude.
47:59They also rotate two other tight ends and two other wide receivers I didn't even name. I I dropped this stat on the
48:04Sunday show with Ryan Derek. The Jets have had eight players not named Garrett Wilson have 60 receiving yards in a game
48:10this season.
48:13>> Eight, >> bro.
48:14>> Is that not insane?
48:16>> That's wild.
48:17>> No other team is even close to that.
48:19It's It's wild.
48:20>> It's ridiculous. So >> Garrett Wilson seems to be the number two option in every single game they play from a production standpoint. I get
48:27target share is not quite that's not quite true, but from a production standpoint, he's been out alphaed to steal a term from Scott in almost every
48:35single game they've played this season.
48:37>> Um, which makes him an ideal sell high candidate. Yeah, I think he's a fantastic sell high because he's coming off of a game where he got his second
48:46highest target share and first read share of the entire season last week, which I would I I was proclaiming last week was going to be the squeaky wheel
48:54game where he was out in the media talking about I'm not getting enough targets. I think we got the squeaky wheel game, Brett.
49:00>> So now, does he go back into the cave?
49:02When we talked about, you just mentioned here, I think the biggest worry about Garrett Wilson is so much talent around him competing for the target share and
49:09Gino Smith saying, "Look, I don't have to force feed you that volume. I'm just going to take the open guy." Omar Cooper
49:16Jr., yes, please. Adai Mitchell versus Eric Stokes last last week. Yes, please.
49:22I think Gino is going to spread the ball around. Gino is playing really good football right now. And with all of
49:26these skilled players around him, I think Garrett Wilson is going to suffer because of it. But then you also look at
49:32the matchup, dude. Like I know Maner Delane is hurt and stuff like that, Casey's outside corners are still freaking good. Buffalo, if they do
49:39shadow him with Benford, if not he's going to see Benford for 50% of his routes. Fine. He has good matchups against the Chargers and Dolphins.
49:47Again, before your trade deadline, that's maybe where you you capitalize fully on the sell high after he has two maybe like really strong games there.
49:54But then after that, Patrick Certain, hello, Arizona Cardinals, that's a good matchup. But then in week 16 and 17, dude, he gets New England Patriots,
50:04which if everybody wonders why he had a down game versus the Patriots, oh, it's just because Christian Gonzalez was in his back pocket for 94% of routes. He'll
50:11do that again in week uh 16. And week 17, if Brian Flores doesn't blitz Gino into oblivion, good luck. I mean, that's
50:18the way that I'll project that game. So, I think that like however I line this up, Brett, Garrett Wilson is a sell
50:24high, coming off a massive target share.
50:26And then moving forward, I think we're gonna see where it's just the ball is just spread around to whoever the hell
50:31is open and has the matchup that week.
50:34>> Boom. Tony Pard. Let's round this list out. The final sell high. Uh I added him late, I think. Do we have him? Oh, we
50:42have him. He's in the Let's Talk About It. All right, we'll push him to the end. How about that? We'll push him to
50:46the end because I do think he's a true let's talk about it. Let's hit some buy highs really quick. Now, I just want to
50:51caveat this. We do a buy high segment on every uh trade show we do. However, I I'm kind of a believer that you're only buying
51:01high if they're true like truly like big what does Scott call him? He calls them uh >> power law players.
51:10>> Power law players. Yeah. Yeah. I'm evoking the Scott Barrett here.
51:13>> Yeah. Yeah. That Thank you for remembering my partner's phrase better than I did. Uh if they're true power law players, that's truly what I call a by
51:20high. Now, that doesn't mean you can't find what you think is a discounted by high player. And I think Coulson Loveland is a perfect segue because
51:29>> I've actually acquired a ton of him in reddraft. He was on a he was a buy low player for us like a week ago, but he
51:35continues to get that high target share.
51:38Um he just seems like the the funk is over. It was a three-game blip on the radar. We just want to forget about it.
51:44He was Kyle Pittz for three weeks, but now he's back to Coulson Loveland. And I do think because I think we're calling
51:50him a buy high, but the reality is the perception of him in your league is likely still diminished because of those
51:56first three or four weeks where you can you can still get him at a discount for what he's going to do for you long term.
52:03>> Fully fully fully agree because he's one of these guys, especially if you're in 10 team leagues and those onesie positions are just like you want to be
52:12winning from the onesie positions with elite players. I don't think that he's going to be viewed in that light, >> right?
52:18>> He's producing like that. Like over the last three games, so before yesterday's game, he was tied in four, tied in three
52:24in weekly scoring, he had a 26% target share, 2.39 yards per route run, a 32% first read share. Then he goes out
52:32against Seattle and has a 26% target share. Brett, he's the clear like leader with him and Luther Burton of the passing attack. I just Yes. He is the
52:41guy that down the stretch can help define the rest of your season, even from a usage standpoint, Brett. But then we get into the schedule, Brett. He gets
52:51THE DETROIT LIONS TWICE, BABY. IT'S WHEELS UP. LET'S GO. HE GETS THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS. Cannot stop tight ends.
52:59He gets the Miami Dolphins in week 14.
53:02He gets the Buffalo Bills, who has also had issues against tight ends. This schedule is immaculate. For a player that's producing at this level, seeing
53:10this lead of a target share, Colston Lovelin could be a stretch runde defining player that puts you on his back and says, "Don't worry, baby. I got
53:19you. We're going up the mountain and carries you to a title, Brett."
53:23>> Absolutely. Uh this is this was my take last week when he was a buy low. Too too late to buy low on him, but what's a
53:29good one to one? Who's somebody you're offering up to the team with Coulson Loveland?
53:34I Hello Garrett Wilson. I'll give him up in a heartbeat.
53:38>> You'd go one- one. Wilson, >> I'd go one- one. I'd go one- one. I'd go one- one for that Tedro McMillan. Same
53:46thing.
53:46>> Okay.
53:46>> I would give up um >> Josh Jacobs >> if I could give up Josh Jacobs. I would give up I would even give up JMO.
53:52Although I I'm a believer that the role sticks. Um who am I going down?
53:59>> What about What about Jefferson since he was a >> Yeah, Jefferson. I would do Jeff. So if you are flush with wide receiver, if
54:04you're deep at wide receiver, like you got Jefferson, but you also hit on like a Christian Watson, who we're going to
54:10talk about here in a second, you bet, you got a Parker Washington, so you got plenty of wide receivers, or it's like a
54:15start two wide receiver league versus start three.
54:18>> Yeah, >> I would give up Justin Jefferson.
54:20>> The contextual piece of the pie is obviously always important. It depends on your league settings and and how many guys for sure, 100%.
54:27>> Um, I was going to ask you about >> shoot, what was the other one? Oh, Coulson Lovelin, where do you So, you're
54:36based on what you've given up as like I'll I'll do this. I I'll trade Garrett Wilson. I'll tra Jefferson.
54:41>> That means you think he is a one-off difference maker.
54:45>> I do.
54:46>> Where do you have him rest of season?
54:48>> Tight end two behind Brock Bowers >> ahead of Trey McBride.
54:53>> I have him ahead of So, Trey McBride, is Gardenner Menchu going to stay good? Are we going to see Carson Beck?
55:01What does that do to Trey McBride?
55:03>> He He absolutely should be on our let's talk about it list then because this is um >> Wow. All right. Trey McBride level
55:11ranked ahead of Trey McBride rest the season. What about KD? Where do you have KD?
55:14>> I have I have KD at tight end four. He's right behind McBride. So >> Okay. All right. Well, yeah. If if you
55:20tr if you're as convicted as Derrick on Coulson Lovel, >> yeah, you're trading Justin Jefferson or Garrett Wilson for him. No doubt.
55:26>> But tell me this, Brett. You're obviously taking Caleb Williams over whatever quarterback is starting for the Cardinals. You're taking the offensive
55:32scoring environment or the Bears over the Cardinals. You're also taking the play calling over the Cardinals. You're also taking I just laid out an
55:40immaculate schedule. You're also taking that schedule, too. So, it's like regardless of however we spin this or set this up, he's getting elite volume.
55:48He's producing elite numbers. He's the difference maker, the king that we were promised. That's who he has been over the last three games. also the
55:56indecision because of how he started the season. People that is going to stick in the back of their freaking heads, Brett.
56:02>> Yeah.
56:04Wow. Awesome. I I love that. Uh Bucky Irving, let's do him. Um thing I'll throw at you. Tampa Bay Bucks offensive
56:10line is mauling people. They can't pass protect to save their life, but they are mauling people on the ground. I think
56:15they have the third highest adjusted yards before contact per carry, which is partially a running back stat. Bucky does have great vision, but it is
56:23probably like 80% an O line stat.
56:24though. Why don't you cook on Bucky?
56:27>> So, I I think that people are going to be thrown off a little bit because Baker Mayfield is definitively not healthy.
56:34Like there he threw the ball three times last week and had negative passing yards. It was the Troy Troy Aman special
56:41of what he hopes an offense could be.
56:43Like does that sustain? And where I think people look at Bucky and they're going to say, "Look, if Baker can't throw the ball, then Bucky, there's no
56:51way he continues to do what he's done because over the last two g two games, he's averaged 26 touches, Brett, 140
56:58total yards."
57:00>> But I I think that better days can be ahead for Baker. And if Baker can't get right, then Jaylen Daniels comes in. At
57:05least we have like a serviceable like a functional passing game. Maybe not like amazing, but all this is to say also
57:13with Bucky getting all the volume behind that offensive line, better days ahead possibly for Baker, the schedule looks really freaking good, Brett. Like
57:21>> over the rest of the season, well, for it's not amazing over the next two games. So this also not only are could
57:27you get a buy high here where if you want to invest in him now and ride it out, then that's where the buy high. You
57:33could also he could be on the buy low list after they face the Bears and the Lions, Brett. So, this could flip to
57:39where you just wait this out and before the trade deadline, that's when you bounce because after that he gets the Panthers, the Chargers, the Ravens, the
57:47Saints twice. Now, I'm counting week 18 in that, but the Falcons and the Rams, all of those remaining teams at like
57:53week 12 through week 17. You can run on every one of those defenses, every single one of them. Brit, >> no doubt. Um, yeah, I I'd be inclined to
58:03say wait out the storm, buy low in week 11, unless uh some leagues have trade deadlines sooner than that, right? Some
58:10>> sooner than that. [clears throat] Yeah, that's why I wanted to mention him here, but there there is like an eb and flow
58:14where you could get the buy low window.
58:16>> Yep. Christian Watson, uh, another one of our guys.
58:20>> Yes.
58:20>> Um, I think the the year I met you, Dro, we were Christian Watson.
58:27>> Christian Watson year. Yeah. So, >> out in the rain. We're both freezing our butts off out in the rain. You, me, and
58:32Chris Wed.
58:33>> That was the crummiest Senior Bowl weather ever.
58:35>> Bro, I hated that year so much. It rained incessantly and it was like 30° outside.
58:42>> We all jump back in the car and we are soaked to our bones. We get back to the Airbnb and we just toss everybody in the
58:48toss everything in the dryer before we can even go out that night. Dude, >> I brought two pairs of shoes. They both
58:54got soaked.
58:55>> Yep.
58:55>> And yeah, we're having to dry shoes.
58:57Thank God our Airbnb had a dryer.
58:59>> Yeah, I know. Thank God for that. So, >> back to the buy high of Christian Watson, dude. I just I I He's awesome,
59:07man. And I don't see any I don't see him slowing down at all. He's the wide receiver six in fantasy points per game.
59:13You look at the upcoming matchups and it's a combination of of two things for me, Brett, where I look at certain wide
59:20receivers and I say, "Okay, but this coverage matchup probably doesn't lend itself to for this wide receiver to go off because his splits are big or this
59:30team is is good versus deep passing."
59:32However you want to like dice it up, Christian Watson is that dude versus basically every coverage versus zone, 3.65 65 yards per route run versus
59:42single and two high. 25% target per route run rate versus both of them. 2.32 3.35 yards per route run. So no matter
59:49what Green Bay is facing, Christian Watson is that dude. And then you line it up with the rest of the season
59:55schedule out of his remaining nine games, four of these teams suck.
60:01Absolutely suck versus deep passing. The Dolphins, Bears, Saints, and the Patriots in recent weeks have all been god-awful versus deep passing. So,
60:11however we split this up, Brett, it still has been and will always be Christian Watson season.
60:18>> And Houston's been terrible on inbreakers for what it's worth. Um, he gets them in the fantasy championship.
60:24>> I I think he would absolutely nuke Houston's defense in the current state that they're in. Maybe they fix it by
60:29then >> because we know they have the talent, but yeah, this very favorable matchups.
60:33Um, cool. I love that. Let's uh let's hit these. Let's talk about it, guys.
60:40>> We have AJ Brown, Drake London, Tony Pard.
60:44>> I'm Yeah, let's start with AJ Brown. I I don't know what there is for me to say.
60:49I'm I've been out on Brown since the offseason. So, I'm like, you know, I'm not sure. What do you got? Are you
60:55positive spin on Brown or negative?
60:56>> No, I'm out. I want I'm out. Like I I hit whenever we got to the point of now he's dealing with a knee issue on top of
61:05the ankle issue. And when I saw him, bro, when I saw him against the Bears come back and he runs a comeback route
61:11on the left side of on the left sideline and it's choppy steps. He's pushing off at the top of his route. There's no de
61:18acceleration. I'm like, "Oh crap, he's not healthy. Never mind. We're screwed.
61:23He's not healthy."
61:25Now Now you add the knee on top of this, Brett. I I I just wanted to bring him up because I think a lot of people are
61:31still holding out hope wi with the volume buying into the Patriots offense.
61:36I I wanted to see where you were at and really just gauge the temperature here.
61:39I'm out, dude. I'm out.
61:41>> He looks He looks a bit cooked. Plus, he's got, as Scott would say, the Mao Zong of quarterbacks and Drake May who's
61:49going to spread the ball around like the true communist he is, you know? So, >> yep. Um, [laughter] let's go. Drake London.
61:59This is This is an interesting one because a like everyone in the fantasy community seems to just love Drake London.
62:05>> Yep.
62:05>> Where you at?
62:07>> I love Drake London, but dude, I've I've got worries, man. Like on a few different levels. One, the Michael Penn
62:13of it all. I was never as high on Michael Penn as as the media consortium whenever he came back and they're like
62:20wanting to crown him as being like, "Oh, look, look at the steps he's taken." And then he goes out and he absolutely craps
62:25the bed versus the Buccaneers.
62:27>> Well, hold on. Hold on.
62:30>> Go ahead.
62:30>> I got to flag you. I got to flag you, >> please. Oh, I was in on him going into this. Are you going to flag with that?
62:35Are you going with that?
62:36>> No. The T craps the bet against the Buccaneers, >> my brother. Did you watch that game?
62:42>> I did not watch that game.
62:43>> It was They played in a hurricane.
62:46>> No, that's fair.
62:47>> Baker Mayfield attempted three passes.
62:49That's how bad the rain was.
62:50>> That's a one functional hand. So >> that's a complete throwaway for me. When I do my data analysis, I literally will
62:56remove that game from my sample.
62:59>> Really? Okay.
62:59>> Absolutely. I you can't use it. It's completely unusable.
63:03>> Um Pennix, he completed eight passes in that game.
63:06>> Fair.
63:07>> And Baker Mayfield attempted three. I I think the weather really like I'm not trying to be funny. I really do. You
63:12look at like the four five games before that. 10 targets, six for 96, 11 targets, 10 targets, 10 targets, all with Michael Penn. So, like, as long as
63:22we're not playing in a hurricane, I feel relatively fine about that. A voice from the shadows motion man, if you're there,
63:28you're the Falcons guy. Should we be in on Drake London?
63:33>> I do agree with you, Brett, that you got to throw that game out. But I I don't It's hard for me to have faith in in
63:40anything the Falcons are doing. And and and the uh the the place where I'm at with it is >> I'm I was just about to believe in
63:48Michael Penn. like I was just about to turn the corner and be like, "Okay, this is a guy that actually can play a little
63:54bit of football." But, uh, usually when that happens, you know, then bad things start to come. Once I start to believe,
64:00that's when the Falcons start to crumble. So, >> but, uh, yeah, I I mean, Drake London was my, you know, I do my latte model,
64:08my top, you know, wide receiver prospect of the last forever basically.
64:12Unbelievable talent. Uh, they just can't get him somebody that can get him the ball. Michael Penn is the best we've seen, but I I'm I don't want to be the
64:21guy that's on the fence, but I think I got to be on the fence on this one.
64:24>> So, to all to all the worries. So, the other the other concerning thing about Drake London and and I love Drake
64:31London. I love the talent. I love the volume. I love all the things with it.
64:35>> My concern about Drake London is the upcoming schedule, how that's going to impact Michael Penn. Also, again, we've talked about we we've evoked the name DJ
64:43Turner a few different times. cuz I screwed it up once, but he gets DJ Turner in week nine. Then he gets the
64:48Kansas City Chiefs in week 10 who have been very good against perimeter wide receivers.
64:52>> Good lord. This is a gauntlet, >> dude. I that exactly. Hello. Yes.
64:56>> I'm looking at the schedule right now.
64:57>> The Minnesota Vikings are going to blitz Penn into into oblivion. The Detroit Lions are an improving defense. Yes.
65:05Okay, fine. Can we talk about are there good matchups on here against the Commanders and the Saints? Yes. But also the quiet thing about Drake London in
65:14this sample size with PennX this year, Brett, he has one touchdown, dude.
65:19>> I was I was gonna ask about that. Don't worry.
65:21>> But but the touchdowns are also what give you the ceiling on the floor on a weekly basis. It can help save the
65:27fantasy day when the volume or things go ary. He doesn't have the touchdowns. And it's not because he's not seeing volume.
65:34It's because with Michael Penn under center, the Atlanta Falcons have the eighth highest red zone rushing rate. I don't see that changing with Bjon
65:43Robinson in the freaking backfield, dude. So, are the touchdowns going to be there? And if he's not putting up 80, 90, 100 yard receiving days if the
65:51touchdowns aren't there, Brett, what are we getting out of Drake London outside of the volume, dude?
65:58>> Yeah. And and to your point, Penn has always struggled with ball location accuracy.
66:05>> It's like he can he he can rack up catchable targets, right? But >> the ball location, >> Penn limits yak,
66:11>> right? But when you're when you're in the red zone, the windows are tighter.
66:14>> That ball location is so important and he's always struggled with that. So, >> yep.
66:18>> Um that that's also going to limit touchdowns. Um >> so am I changing your mind, Brett?
66:24YEAH. WELL, >> ON AIR CAPITULATION, >> I didn't realize the schedule was was that level of a gauntlet. If you if you
66:31have trades still in week 13, I could argue to hold out and say, "Hey, let him play the Bengals, let him play the
66:38Chiefs, let him get through the buy, let him play the Vikings, and then his trade value is going to be literally zero,
66:43then go trade buy low on him." That would be my strategy with with London probably. But gosh, cuz his trade value could
66:51literally be cratered after that week 12 game.
66:54>> I mean, right now in rest of season rankings over on Fantasy Pros, he's wide receiver eight.
66:59>> Wide receiver.
67:01>> And where would you rank him?
67:03>> Lower than that. I've got him at considering all of this, I've got him at wide receiver. I got him at wide
67:12receiver 11, but rest of season, I'll take Chris Ave. I'll take T. Higgins.
67:16Give me the Packers guys. Give me Malik Neighbors. Give me like could you could you give out a package of like going
67:22from London to Neighbors which looks like maybe a lateral move. I would rather Malik Neighbors rest a season.
67:29>> Good call. Tony Pard. Let's round the show out with Tony Pard. The dude has been well on fire to say it lightly. He is um
67:40he's scored more touchdowns the last two weeks than he did all of last season I believe >> or tied Uh he had 25 for 129 and three in week
67:50seven, 21 for 117 and two in week eight.
67:54Mixing in three catches in each of those games as well. He's got 65 fantasy points in the last two weeks. We've
68:01talked about running back being a scarce position. People are starved for points at running back.
68:06>> There is literally no planet Tony Pard saying this, right? Even Even if you you can sit I've seen Ryan Heath posting the
68:14pace stats. Tony Pard's getting this huge advantage because they're they're ran, you know, cranking up the pace of play. It doesn't matter. This is such an
68:21extreme outlier to me for Tony Pard that like I feel like you have to try to sell high. It's the prudent thing to do.
68:29>> Um because your return could be insane. You get a desperate owner that needs running back production, you could get a
68:37ridiculous return right now, I think.
68:39And I and with considering it's an outlier, I just feel like you have to do it. What do you think about Tony Pard?
68:43>> I fully agree. I think he's a sell high.
68:46And have we seen these runouts from Tony Pard before? Sure. Yeah, we've seen this. But also, >> not the touchdowns to be fair.
68:53>> No, not the touchdowns, but the volume like where he goes on these stretches of getting fed volume and then he's because
68:58I don't think Tony Pard's a bad running back. You and I this year like I I if anything, the best run out for Tony Pard
69:05is that he gets traded somewhere.
69:07>> That that would be like the the saving grace for Tony Pard of anybody that were to get him. The the problem with that,
69:13Derek, is the only team that's for sure linked to him right now, I said this on yesterday's show as well, has been the
69:19Detroit Lions.
69:20>> Oh, never mind.
69:23>> Yeah, that'd be a death kiss right now.
69:25That doesn't mean >> Yeah, >> that doesn't mean other teams haven't reached out. That's just the only one that's been reported. And obviously,
69:31there's five teams trying to trade for John Taylor. Well, you can only go to one of those places. Maybe one of the
69:37four teams that loses out then pivots to to uh to Tony Pard here. But >> but do you feel better if he goes to
69:42Seattle? Do you feel better if he goes to the Vikings? Probably not. No >> Vikings, I probably would. I think Jordan Mason and Jones stink. But
69:48>> Well, yeah. I'm not >> What about What about the Giants? I I'd be all in on Pard if he went to the
69:52Giants.
69:52>> Oh, I'd be all in on Pard if he goes to the Giants. No doubt. Yeah. So, there is risk on both sides of this just with the
69:58trade stuff, but also it's like looking at his schedule like there's a lot of like fertuitous matchups here, but like the Steelers have been good. That's the
70:06fantasy championship week. So, you know, does he get it done in that one? the Jacksonville Jaguars in week 10 and 12.
70:12Like, yeah, I know they just lost Devon Hamilton. Maybe they give a little bit more as a run defense, but dude, maybe
70:18they don't.
70:19>> Maybe they don't.
70:20>> Yeah.
70:21>> So, I I I think he's a fantastic player to bring up, especially like talking about like can you get rid of him? Like,
70:27okay, could you go out to a really needy team that's down on him? Could you get Parker Washington back for Tony Pard? I
70:33think it's possible in some leagues.
70:36>> Bang.
70:38>> Yeah. Let's That's awesome. Um, dude, >> thank you for joining the show. Let's uh let's tell people where they can find
70:45your work. What' you say?
