Antonio Williams

NegativeValue7:20

Antonio Williams is a waiver wire consideration for Commanders receivers but has limited short-term value. Even with Terry McLaurin likely out for the season, Jordan Tyson's expectation is that you would not be starting Antonio Williams when the Commanders return from their week seven bye in week eight, making him a speculative hold rather than an immediate starter.

Insight page

Brian Thomas Jr.

NegativeDepth Chart10:00

Brian Thomas Jr. appeared to be benched in the second half of the Jaguars game. Trade speculation is emerging with a possibility of the Rams acquiring him. A potential depth chart shift or trade could open snaps for other Jaguars receivers like Travis Hunter.

Insight page

Chigoziem Okonkwo

PositiveValue6:40

Chigoziem Okonkwo is a tight end pickup recommendation for the Commanders who was not appealing in offseason drafts but is now positioned to be heavily involved with Terry McLaurin out. He recorded seven targets and seven receptions against the 49ers and is viewed as a low-end tight end one or high-end tight end two at good matchups going forward. Jordan Tyson expects the Commanders to get him involved in the passing game now that McLaurin is sidelined.

Insight page

Christian Kirk

NegativeProjection8:18

Christian Kirk's fantasy value is difficult to evaluate for the 49ers due to uncertainty around Mike Evans' return timeline and his own week 7 availability. The exact timetable for Evans' recovery is not yet laid out, making it unclear how the 49ers receiver landscape will shake out. If forced to choose a Niners WR for bye week coverage, Kirk would be the preferred option over other San Francisco receivers, though his status remains unconfirmed.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeInjury4:50

Davante Adams is effectively out for the season, eliminating him from fantasy consideration and reshaping the Rams receiver landscape. Jordan Tyson does not expect a wide receiver two in Los Angeles to become relevant as a result of his departure.

Insight page

Deebo Samuel

PositiveValue8:57

Deebo Samuel is a strong waiver wire pickup recommendation if dropped in your league. He has a chance to return after the week eight bye, potentially coming back in week nine. Jordan Tyson emphasizes urgency to claim him immediately if available, as his return timeline is approaching.

Insight page

Jordyn Tyson

PositiveInjury0:07

Jordan Tyson is traveling to Paris with the team for the game against Pittsburgh and has a non-zero percent chance to play this week; he is a top 10 NFL draft pick dealing with hamstring issues. Most likely outcome is return in week nine after the Saints' bye, but there is a real-world scenario where he practices this week and gets game action.

Insight page

Mike Evans

NegativeInjury8:38

Mike Evans suffered an injury but his Achilles is intact; he is expected to miss some time and is hopeful to return after the week eight bye, targeting a week nine return. The exact timeline remains uncertain.

Insight page

Omar Cooper Jr.

PositiveBreakout1:58

Omar Cooper Jr. is a round-one draft pick from Indiana who is available in many leagues. Despite not having standout market share numbers at Indiana, film guys loved him. He was injured week one (7% snaps, one route), missed weeks 2-5, but returned in week six and immediately produced 22 fantasy points on 82% snap share with a receiving touchdown. Jordan Tyson is putting an aggressive waiver bid on him, viewing him as a deep league flex option with pedigree and draft capital.

Insight page

Rachaad White

PositiveRole1:05

Rachaad White is now in a strong setup with Keaton Allen cut from the Commanders and Jaret Patterson on injured reserve. White sees about 60-70% of the backfield opportunities, has the receiving role, and got work at the goal line. Jordan Tyson plans to start him as a low-end RB2 until Patterson returns.

Insight page

Tank Dell

NegativeRole4:29

Tank Dell is showing signs of life in the Texans passing game with C.J. Stroud, positioned alongside Nico Collins, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Jaylen Knowles in an offense likely to attack through the air given the absence of David Montgomery. However, returning from IR after missing most of the season, the crowded Texans WR room limits immediate fantasy value; Nico Collins is the alpha, Marvin Harrison Jr. is WR2, and Jaylen Noel is also looking good. Jordan Tyson advises watching rather than rushing to claim.

Insight page

Terrance Ferguson

PositiveInjury5:24

Terrance Ferguson was having a mini breakout before suffering an ankle injury; he missed weeks four, five, and six on injured reserve, must miss week seven, but is expected to potentially return in week eight. Long-term, Ferguson is positioned to take over as the primary tight end target for the Rams once healthy, with Jordan Tyson expecting Higbee to be the primary option in the short term before Ferguson takes over long-term.

Insight page

Terry McLaurin

NegativeInjury7:00

Terry McLaurin is out, forcing the Commanders to get Chigoziem Okonkwo more involved in the passing game and creating opportunity for secondary receivers.

Insight page

Travis Hunter

NegativeSleeper10:00

Travis Hunter is a deep league waiver consideration contingent on a Brian Thomas Jr. trade scenario. If Thomas is traded out of Jacksonville, Hunter could see increased WR snaps; however, he would still need a Jakobi Meyers injury to become a full-time starter. He is on bye this week, so Jordan Tyson advises adding him to your watch list rather than rushing to claim him immediately.

Insight page

Treylon Burks

PositiveValue7:20

Treylon Burks is a waiver wire consideration for Commanders receivers but is difficult to target due to the Commanders' week seven bye. Similar to Antonio Williams, he is not recommended as a priority waiver pickup given the timing constraints.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

NegativeRole9:00

Despite scoring multiple touchdowns, Tyrone Tracy remains limited in a three-man RBBC for the Giants. Even in a game in which Cam Skatabu played zero snaps, Tracy only received nine opportunities and played 38% of the snaps. While people are rushing to pick him up, best case scenario he's in a three-man running back by committee with a limited ceiling due to his committee role and modest talent level.

0:00Injuries to Davante Adams, Terry
0:01McLaurin, Mike Evans actually has the
0:03waiver wire very interesting this week
0:06and I'm going to be aggressive on it
0:07myself. Now, the most important player
0:09on your waiver wire this week, we'll
0:11start it right off with Jordan Tyson.
0:13Now, there is a high probability that
0:15Jordan Tyson is already rostered in your
0:17league. I know you are tired of hearing
0:19me talk about him, but I will just say
0:21this is the first positive blurb that we
0:23have had about Jordan Tyson in a long,
0:26long time. The reports right now are
0:29Jordan Tyson is traveling to Paris with
0:31the team for this game against the
0:33Pittsburgh Steelers. There is a non-zero
0:36percent chance that he plays this game.
0:38He is a top 10 NFL draft pick. He wasn't
0:41a top 10 wide receiver drafted in this
0:44year's draft. No, he was a top 10 pick
0:46in the NFL draft. Super talented player.
0:48The hamstring stuff absolutely sucks,
0:51but most likely outcome, he is back in
0:53week nine after the week eight bye from
0:56the New Orleans Saints, but there is a
0:58real world scenario in which he's
0:59practicing this week and maybe we get
1:01some game action, which I'd be
1:03incredibly excited for. And then our
1:05other top option on the waiver wire that
1:07is also most likely rostered in your
1:09league is going to be Rachaad White.
1:12Rachaad White is now in a pretty nice
1:14setup in which you have Keaton Allen cut
1:18from this Washington Commanders team a
1:19few weeks ago. That was the running back
1:21that I believe they selected in the
1:22seventh round of the NFL draft this
1:24year. And then you have Jaret Patterson
1:26hitting the injured reserve. So, Rachaad
1:29White this past week sees about 60 to
1:3170% of the opportunities for this
1:33Commanders backfield. He has the
1:35receiving role. We saw him get work at
1:37the goal line as well. I probably am
1:40going to be starting him as like a
1:41low-end RB2 until Jaret Patterson comes
1:43back, which is something that I
1:45desperately need for my team.
1:48Hopefully we get ETN back in week nine
1:49though, so we're no longer having to
1:51start these guys like White. But, moving
1:54to a couple of guys that are most likely
1:56rostered in your league. Uh, let's talk
1:58about Omar Cooper Jr. Omar, I believe is
2:00available in my league. Right after I'm
2:02done recording this, I'm going to go out
2:03there and put a pretty aggressive bid
2:05for him. And there's a damn good chance
2:07that he's available in yours as well.
2:09Now, if you look at this profile coming
2:11out of Indiana, this is a very tough guy
2:13to look at, right? Because the Indiana
2:15Hoosiers had a ton of super talented
2:17players. They had the number one overall
2:19pick in the NFL draft with Fernando
2:20Mendoza. They had Elijah Sewell who went
2:22to the third round to the Baltimore
2:24Ravens. They Caleb Black who goes to the
2:26San Francisco 49ers. I believe that was
2:28in the third round as well. So, if you
2:30look at like the market share numbers
2:32for Omar, they don't necessarily jump
2:34off the page, but film guys absolutely
2:36loved him. He ended up getting selected
2:38in round one of the NFL draft by the New
2:40York Jets. And you look at the Jets
2:42depth chart, they obviously have Garrett
2:44Wilson as the alpha at the very top end,
2:46but the underlying wide receiver depth
2:48very, very thin, especially with Adonai
2:51Mitchell dealing with the finger surgery
2:53that he had. We don't expect to get
2:55Adonai Mitchell back for a few weeks. We
2:57ended up seeing Omar Cooper get injured
2:59week one. He only played 7% of the
3:02snaps. He only ran one route. And then
3:04he goes on the IR, right? With the ankle
3:06injury. He misses weeks two, three,
3:08four, five, comes back in week six, and
3:12immediately cements himself as a fantasy
3:15viable name. He had 22 fantasy points.
3:18He played 82% of the snaps, and he was
3:20scored a receiving touchdown at the same
3:23time. Now, projecting this forward,
3:25there's no way he's the wide receiver
3:27one over Garrett Wilson. Garrett Wilson
3:28had a really tough match up going up
3:29against Gonzo. So, realistically, I
3:32would more so view Omar Cooper as a deep
3:37league option for your flex or your
3:40second flex spot as we go through the
3:42buys. But one thing that we learned from
3:44last week is when these rookie wide
3:46receivers that have the pedigree, that
3:48have the draft capital, when they flash
3:51and it looks like they're going to get
3:52an opportunity, you probably should be
3:54aggressive on picking them up off the
3:56waiver wire. Again, Jeremy Bernard just
3:59taught us that lesson. Now, going over
4:00to our next pick up, we are going to
4:02have C.J. Stroud. Now, Stroud's rostered
4:04in 66% of Yahoo leagues, like 43% of
4:07ESPN leagues, 60% of Sleeper. So, I will
4:10say just briefly, I know he's probably
4:12rostered in your league, but if you're
4:13in a shallow format, he looks great, and
4:16this matchup against the Giants in Week
4:187 is very appealing. Right now, early
4:21market indicators do have the Houston
4:23Texans as a top-five offense this next
4:26week, and with no David Montgomery,
4:28they're probably going through the air.
4:29We'll talk about Tank Dell later, but
4:31now Stroud has Nico, Marvin Harrison,
4:35Tank Dell, Jaylen Knowles showing signs
4:38of life. So, hell, I mean, he looks a
4:40phenomenal right now. Now, going over to
4:43the Los Angeles Rams, your league mates
4:45may be rushing to pick up like Jordan
4:48Whittington off the waiver wire. Right?
4:50With Davante Adams effectively out for
4:52the season, I will say I don't actually
4:54expect a wide receiver two in Los
4:56Angeles to become relevant at all. They
4:59haven't proven anything at the NFL
5:00level. We've seen them in games with no
5:03Puka Nacua, and what happened earlier
5:05this year when Puka Nacua was removed
5:08from this Rams offense? They featured
5:10the wide receiver one with Davante Adams
5:12way more, and more importantly, they got
5:15multiple tight ends on the field. They
5:17have two tight ends on the field almost
5:19every play. They have three tight ends
5:20on the field sometimes as well. We saw
5:24Terrance Ferguson actually look like he
5:26was having his mini little breakout, and
5:29then obviously Terrance Ferguson went
5:31down with the ankle. So, my expectations
5:33here for the Los Angeles Rams are going
5:35to be that the tight ends are the guys
5:37that you want to be picking up with the
5:39departure of Davante Adams from this
5:41offense. Now, in the short term, for
5:43this week, I would say Tyler Higbee is
5:47the name that you're going to look at,
5:48right? That's because I believe Terrance
5:51Ferguson went on the injured reserve in
5:52week three. Ferguson has missed weeks
5:55three, four, five, six. Actually, I'm
5:57sorry. He went on week four. So, he's
5:58missed weeks four, five, six. He has to
6:00miss week seven on the injured reserve,
6:03but it sounds like Terrance Ferguson may
6:05be back in week eight. And then Terrance
6:08Ferguson could potentially take over as
6:09the tight end that you want. The concern
6:11that you may have here with the Rams is
6:13what I'm dealing with with Dalton
6:15Kincaid in the Buffalo Bills right now.
6:17There's a chance it's just a tight end
6:19by committee. There's a chance you have
6:21Tyler Higbee, Terrance Ferguson, and
6:23Colby Parkinson all getting work. If I
6:26had to bet on who it is in the short
6:28term, it's going to be Higbee. In the
6:30long term, it's going to be Terrance
6:31Ferg. Now, if you just wanted the full
6:35straight-up starter in terms of tight
6:37ends in their offenses, you can look at
6:40Chigo Okonkwo. This is a tight end that
6:43wasn't super appealing to be in drafts
6:46this offseason. I I didn't really have
6:48much interest. He gets paid a
6:49decent-sized contract to go from
6:51Tennessee, where he was never a viable
6:53tight end in fantasy football, over to
6:56the Washington Commanders. But now that
6:58you have no Terry McLaurin, I mean, this
7:01is now a setup in which they're going to
7:03have to get him involved. He just had
7:05seven targets, seven receptions this
7:07week against the San Francisco 49ers.
7:10Now, the problem that you're going to
7:11have with the short-term pickup, and
7:13this is what I run into myself. While I
7:15think he can definitely be a low-end
7:17tight end one, high-end tight end two
7:19that's startable at good matchups going
7:20forward,
7:22because the Commanders have a week seven
7:24bye, it's tough to pick him up when,
7:26say, like me as an example, I have
7:28Dalton Kincaid on bye, right? So, I
7:30can't rush out there, pick up Chig, have
7:33Kincaid on my bench, have Chig on my
7:35bench as well. So, I'm not going to be
7:36able to place a bid for him. I would say
7:38this is also why it may be a little bit
7:40tough for you to go after like Treylon
7:42Burks, Antonio Williams, cuz if you pick
7:46up Antonio Williams even with Terry
7:48probably being out for the season, my
7:50expectations would be you're probably
7:52not going to be starting Antonio
7:54Williams when they come back in week
7:57eight. So, you're rostering him for two,
7:59three weeks, seeing if he'll prove or
8:01break out, then playing him in week
8:02nine. So, that's the hesitation I would
8:05have with the Commanders. If I had to
8:07pick somebody, I would be going with the
8:08tight end with Chig, though, over the
8:10secondary wide receivers here like
8:12Antonio Williams, like Treylon Burks,
8:14very similar to the Los Angeles Rams
8:16scenario. Now, going to the Niners
8:19offense, it's very difficult right now
8:22to talk about Christian Kirk.
8:23The reason for this is we do not have
8:26the exact timetable laid out for Mike
8:28Evans, and frankly, I don't think the
8:31Niners know how long he's going to miss.
8:33I don't think Mike Evans himself knows
8:36how long he's going to miss. Going
8:37through and seeing what was said after
8:39this game, there are two things. One,
8:42Mike Evans, his Achilles is intact, but
8:46he's going to miss a little time. The
8:47reports right now are they are saying
8:50that he is hopeful to play after the
8:53week eight bye. So, you're hoping to get
8:55Mike Evans back in week nine. There is
8:57also a chance that Deebo Samuel is back
9:00after the week eight bye. Deebo Samuel
9:02back in week nine as well. Now, of
9:04course, neither of those things are
9:06confirmed. We do not know right now. We
9:08don't even know if Christian Kirk is
9:10going to be playing this week. If I had
9:13to pick a Niners wide receiver that I
9:15had to play, say you're dealing with
9:16some of these week seven byes, you have
9:18no James Cook, you have no DJ Moore,
9:21Christian Kirk would probably be my
9:23name, but I think the biggest thing is
9:26if Deebo Samuel is dropped in your
9:28league, run out there to pick up Deebo
9:30Samuel right now. Now, a couple other
9:32names that I know people are going to
9:33look at, Tyrone Tracy scored multiple
9:36touchdowns um for the New York Giants,
9:39but Tyrone Tracey even in a game in
9:42which Cam Skatabu played literally zero,
9:44right? Skatabu did not have a single
9:46carry. Tracey still only had nine
9:49opportunities and only played 38% of the
9:52snaps. So while a lot of people are
9:54going to be rushing out there to pick
9:55him up, best case scenario he's in like
9:58a three-man running back by committee. I
10:00don't think he's that talented of an RB.
10:03So I don't know if you really have a
10:05high ceiling with Tracey. A player that
10:08I would say in the majority of y'alls
10:09leagues you do not need to pick up,
10:11right? Your league is most likely
10:12shallow enough where you can leave
10:14Travis Hunter on the waiver wire. But if
10:17you are in deeper formats, I do think
10:20it's worth taking a little tiny peek at
10:23Travis Hunter right now. For the reason
10:25being Brian Thomas Jr. looked like he
10:28got straight up benched in the second
10:30half of this Jags game. They are on bye
10:33this week. There is a chance we see a
10:35Brian Thomas Jr. trade, right? There is
10:38a world in which the Rams they go out
10:41there and they trade for Thomas. And if
10:43Thomas gets shipped out of Jacksonville,
10:46Travis Hunter in theory at that point
10:49could see more wide receiver snaps. He
10:51probably still need like a Jakobi Meyers
10:53injury for him to all of a sudden turn
10:55into like a full-time wide receiver that
10:57you can comfortably start. And he is
10:59also on the bye this week, so Travis
11:01Hunter goes to your watch list. Don't
11:03rush to pick him up. I would say the
11:05same thing with Tank Dell. I know a lot
11:07of people are excited to get Tank Dell
11:09back. And hell, on the wall behind me I
11:11do have a Tank Dell C.J. Stroud football
11:14card. I'm not going to sit here and say
11:15that I'm a Tank Dell hater. I hope Tank
11:17Dell comes back. I mean, I absolutely
11:19love the stories of these players having
11:21significant injuries and then somehow
11:22some way working themselves back. We
11:25haven't seen Tank Dell since 2024. He
11:27was placed on the IR early this season,
11:30but reports are saying now that he's
11:32going to play. I would not rush to pick
11:34him up. I would put him on your watch
11:36list cuz the thing is Nico is still the
11:38alpha, then Marv's probably the wide
11:41receiver two, and then you have like
11:42Jaylen Noel also looking good. So, I
11:44think it's a super crowded wide receiver
11:46room, but he is worth watching. Now,
11:48going over to the top defensive plays
11:50that we have on the week, I just want to
11:52look at the matchups where the offenses
11:55are supposed to score the fewest amount
11:57of points in the NFL. The New York
11:59Giants are supposed to be the worst
12:00offense in the NFL this week. Again,
12:03this is market data. This is not me just
12:05going off a whim, and the Houston Texans
12:07play against the New York Giants. So,
12:09I'm assuming the Texans defense is
12:11already rostered in your league. On the
12:13small possibility they're not, pick up
12:14the Texans defense. The New York Jets
12:17get to play against the Miami Dolphins.
12:19Looking at this Jets-Miami game,
12:21obviously the Jets not a great team, but
12:23they do have a 68% chance of winning
12:26this game on Polymarket US. We can
12:29actually see that you only have a 55%
12:32chance that the Miami Dolphins score
12:34more than 16 and 1/2 points. Obviously,
12:37if you want to check out any of those
12:38markets, you can find the link to
12:39Polymarket US in the description, as
12:42well as the comment section. If you sign
12:43up with promo code Flock, you'll get $25
12:46added to your account after you deposit
12:47your first 10. Available in every state
12:49outside of Nevada. Obviously, the
12:51Minnesota Vikings have an elite elite
12:54defense. The Indianapolis Colts project
12:56score very few points. The Cleveland
12:58Browns get to go up against the
12:59Tennessee Titans. So, maybe somebody
13:02dropped the Vikings defense since they
13:03were on bye last week. If so, make sure
13:05you pick them up. Cleveland Browns DST
13:08probably available in your league. The
13:10Denver Broncos get to go up against
13:11Arizona. And then, um I would say if
13:14you're incredibly desperate, Cowboys get
13:17to go up against the Philadelphia
13:18Eagles, who obviously have no Jalen
13:20Hurts, looked horrible last week, and we
13:21don't know the status of Saquon Barkley.
13:23But yeah, I think that's all I got for
13:24you. I I appreciate you. Reminder, I'm
13:26going to be live streaming every single
13:28day answering your fantasy football
13:30questions until Christmas. So, if you
13:32haven't done so already, just make sure
13:34you subscribe to the channel and I hope
13:36I get to see you out in the live stream
13:37later tonight.
