Alvin Kamara

PositiveUsage8:41

Alvin Kamara is expected to see increased receiving volume in the Saints' offense while Travis Etienne is sidelined, making him a viable PPR option despite concerns about his declining explosiveness and the likelihood of a backfield committee.

Insight page

Baker Mayfield

PositiveUsage13:52

The source highlights that the Buccaneers' offense is a target for opposing defenses because they are without Baker Mayfield, noting they will start an undrafted rookie quarterback instead.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection19:18

Bo Nix is considered viable in deeper formats, though the source expresses hesitation due to a tough matchup against the San Francisco 49ers and a lack of rushing upside following an ankle injury.

Insight page

Braelon Allen

PositiveBreakout0:13

Braelon Allen is the top waiver wire priority due to his size, three-down workload potential, and lack of backfield competition while Breece Hall is sidelined. He is projected as a top-24 running back for the week, with the source noting he is capable as a receiver and has the physical profile to handle up to 30 touches. He is considered a feature back, even within a struggling offense.

Insight page

Breece Hall

NegativeInjury0:18

Breece Hall is currently dealing with an injury that is expected to keep him out for a few weeks, though he is not out for the season.

Insight page

Bryce Young

PositiveProjection16:59

Despite recent struggles, Bryce Young is a viable streaming quarterback this week due to a favorable matchup against the Detroit Lions in a projected high-scoring game.

Insight page

Jaylen Wright

NegativeDepth Chart5:20

Jaylen Wright missed week three with a stinger injury but is expected to return to the Miami backfield in week four, where the coaching staff plans to utilize a running back by committee approach. He is expected to operate in a committee backfield within a struggling offense, though he remains a viable fantasy option for the duration of the season.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

NegativeRole11:50

Keaton Mitchell is a player to watch for his explosive play potential, but he is not startable unless there is an injury to the primary back, as he is currently working in a role similar to Tyler Allgeier.

Insight page

Kendre Miller

NegativeRole8:41

Kendre Miller is expected to split the Saints' backfield with Alvin Kamara and potentially others while Travis Etienne is out, limiting his individual fantasy ceiling.

Insight page

Kyler Murray

PositiveProjection18:23

Kyler Murray is considered a viable streaming quarterback in deeper formats, especially if Justin Jefferson returns to the lineup to boost the Vikings' offensive output.

Insight page

Ollie Gordon

NegativeUsage3:56

Ollie Gordon handled a three-down workload following Devon Achane's injury, including receiving usage, but struggled with rushing efficiency behind a poor offensive line. The source expects a backfield committee with Jaylen Wright starting in week four, making Gordon a roster-worthy stash but a risky start. He is viewed as a committee running back in a poor offense, but remains a viable fantasy option throughout the season due to the potential for sustained opportunity.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeInjury7:27

Travis Etienne is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury, potentially remaining out through the team's Week 8 bye and returning in Week 9.

0:00I don't know if it's because my team is
0:02certified cheeks or if it's because
0:04there were a lot of injuries this week,
0:06but I have spent more time thinking
0:08about this waiverwire than I have for
0:11any waiverwire in years. Starting with
0:13the number one pickup this week, we are
0:15going to have Brilan Allen. Now, the
0:17reason Allen's going to be the number
0:18one pickup despite Bree Hall actually
0:21only being week to week with his injury,
0:23right? We may get Bree back in two
0:25weeks, he may be back in three weeks.
0:27Hell, maybe he's back in four. But
0:29regardless, Bree Hall is not out for the
0:31season like Devon Achan is. Is Brilan
0:33Allen has the size to carry a three-
0:35down workload and he has no competition
0:37in his backfield. If you don't know a
0:39lot about Brilland Allen, he's been the
0:40backup to Brie Hall for years now. Last
0:43season, Brilen Allen did suffer a
0:44devastating injury that kept him out the
0:46second half of the season, but he's
0:48still an incredibly young running back.
0:50And what's exciting about this premium
0:52handcuff is he has the size to be a
0:54three down player. Hell, he has the size
0:56to play offensive lineman if he want.
0:58Obviously, I'm joking there. But
1:00nonetheless, he has the size to handle
1:0230 touches in a game at his ceiling.
1:04Like, I know it's crazy to say, but it
1:06is true. And on top of this, Brilan
1:10Allen is capable as a receiving running
1:12back as well. And while yes, I like to
1:15throw crap at the New York Jets. And
1:16while yes, I like to say this is a bad
1:18offense and it's been historically a
1:20horrendous team, there are tears to
1:23being a bad team in the NFL, right? Like
1:26just as an example, if we are looking at
1:28this week and we are looking at current
1:30market data, we can see that the New
1:32York Jets, they project to be a bottom
1:3510 offense, but they project to score 19
1:38and a half points playing in Chicago.
1:40Now, if we are comparing that with our
1:43next few pickups for the Miami Dolphins,
1:46the Miami Dolphins project to only score
1:4914 points, right? So, the Dolphins are
1:52not only the worst offense in the NFL,
1:55but they are a completely different tier
1:57down than what we have with the other
1:59bad offenses such as the New York Jets.
2:02So, that's why Brillin's the number one
2:04pickup this week. Even if he doesn't
2:06have the extended shelf life that you're
2:08going to get with an Olly Gordon, I am
2:10confident he is going to be a top 24
2:12running back in my rankings this week.
2:15And if Ole Gordon does join the team of
2:17Destiny, if I do get him off the
2:19waiverwire, which I have a bid out there
2:21for him, I don't know if I can actually
2:23start him to be completely honest.
2:25Because if we go over and look at this
2:26Miami backfield, obviously this is going
2:28to be where 99% of people go to when
2:31they think about the week three wave of
2:33wire. Devon Achan torn ACL. Um Olly
2:36Gordon came in and he handled that three
2:39down workload. Exactly what we were
2:41talking about Brilan Allen doing. Olly
2:43Gordon did for Miami. He had the
2:45receiving usage. Now his rush attempts.
2:48You can blame it on Olly Gordon and say,
2:50"Oh, he's not a great running back. Blah
2:52blah blah." Or you can just say, "Oh,
2:54okay. Well, he's running behind a Miami
2:57Dolphins offensive line with no
2:58quarterback and no wide receivers. Of
3:00course, the efficiency is going to be
3:01bad." But regardless, the rushing
3:03efficiency was very poor when Olly
3:05Gordon was the guy once Achan went down
3:07against the Kansas City Chiefs. But
3:09trying to project this out into the
3:11future, right? The problem is Olly
3:13Gordon isn't set up the way that Brilen
3:15Allen is where he is just going to see
3:17every single touch in his backfield.
3:20Jaylen Wright did miss week three with a
3:22stinger injury. in the early reports
3:24that we have on Monday and Tuesday are
3:27that Olly Gordon is probably going to
3:29see Jaylen Wright get added to this
3:31backfield in week four and onwards. This
3:34coaching staff has already said that
3:36they are going to be using a running
3:37back by committee. So, while Ole Gordon
3:40probably should be rostered in every
3:42single league because who knows, there
3:44is a chance that in week four, he goes
3:46out there, he's the full threeown
3:49starter for the Miami Dolphins. And
3:51then, yeah, he is flexible in deeper
3:53formats. Even with this being a garbage
3:55offense, there's a damn good chance that
3:57they split the backfield. It's a running
3:58back by committee and the worst offense
4:00in the league. Neither of these running
4:01backs are that talented. And I'm
4:03dropping Oie Gordon two weeks from now.
4:05though. Full transparency, I have a
4:08pretty aggressive bid on the waiverwire
4:10with our fab dollars for Olly Gordon in
4:12the flock league. Now, I'm maybe going
4:16to pick him up. I don't know what the
4:17other guys are going to do, but I'm
4:19mentally prepared to bench him this
4:21week, see what the split is with Jaylen
4:23Wright, and if it is a running back by
4:25committee, which is being reported, then
4:27hell, this is maybe somebody I drop in
4:29two, three weeks, and he looks like, I
4:31don't know, Marshon Lloyd, right? Be
4:33prepared to pick him up. and he doesn't
4:35do much, but he definitely needs to be
4:37rostered just in case he is that
4:39starting running back. And for a team
4:41that's as bad as mine, like damn, I need
4:43one so badly. I just have to take the
4:45shot, even if it's unlikely. Now, going
4:47over and looking at the New Orleans
4:48Saints backfield, I had Travis ETN as my
4:52running back, too. Now, ETN injures his
4:54hamstring. The expectation as of now
4:57will be that Travis CTN is out for
4:59weeks. Right now, if we look at the
5:02calendar, Travis CTN could miss weeks
5:05four, five, six, seven, and then the
5:07Saints get the week eight buy and then
5:09he could come back fully healthy in week
5:11nine. Maybe, just maybe, hopefully for
5:14my team, he's back a little bit earlier
5:16than that. But I wouldn't be surprised
5:18at all if we don't have ETN for the next
5:21month. So, that makes two names in this
5:23New Orleans Saints backfield enticing.
5:25One, Alvin Kamara, and two, Kendra
5:28Miller. Now, I had Alvin Kamara on my
5:30bench already backing up ETN. And the
5:34reason I am more excited about Kamar in
5:36a full PPR format is well, this looks to
5:38be a running back that has no juice
5:40anymore, right? I mean, he doesn't have
5:42legs and he's going to be in a running
5:44back by committee. He is probably going
5:46to be the guy that is getting the
5:48receiving volume out of this backfield.
5:50And with the amount of times that Tyler
5:52Shuck is dropping back every single week
5:55at this point and the fact that this New
5:57Orleans Saints team, I mean, the offense
5:59looks damn good, I wouldn't be surprised
6:02at all if we look into the week four
6:05future and see Alvin Kamara with seven
6:08receptions for 21 receiving yards,
6:10right? And for a team that's as bad as
6:12mine, that's as desperate as I am at
6:14running back too. Hell, he gives me
6:16those 9.1 PPR scam points and then I
6:20cross my fingers and hope and pray that
6:22somehow he scores a touchdown. Maybe he
6:24can be a running back too in fantasy.
6:26Now, my expectations aren't that high
6:29because Kendry Miller's going to split
6:30this backfield. They may actually get a
6:32third running back here even and it's
6:34going to be a running back by committee.
6:35Again, looking at all your options on
6:37the waiverss at the moment, Brillan
6:38Allen is a feature running back in a bad
6:41offense. He is the top play. Olly
6:43Gordon, Jaylen Wright, they are probably
6:45committee running backs in a horrendous
6:47offense, but they're going to be viable
6:49all season long, right? Because a chance
6:51not coming back. Alvin Kamari, Kendry
6:54Miller, they are committee running backs
6:56in a pretty good offense at this point,
6:59but it's maybe only going to last three
7:00or four weeks. So, I would rank them
7:03Brilan one, Gordon 2, Kamara three in
7:07terms of the way that we are picking
7:08them up. Now going over to our fourth
7:10name, Katon Mitchell is somebody that
7:12needs to be put on the watch list for a
7:15lot of people here cuz frankly Katon
7:17Mitchell this past week he looked better
7:19than Amari and Hampton. He looked like
7:21he had juice and this is an offense that
7:23so desperately needs explosive plays.
7:27This is an offense that so desperately
7:29needs a playmaker of any type. But he is
7:32never going to be startable outside of
7:34an Amarian Hampton injury. He is now
7:36working himself in the Tyler Algier
7:38mold. right where yeah he'll be out
7:39there he'll be seeing touches but he's
7:42not going to be startable outside of if
7:44you were to get an injury to Amari and
7:46Hampton and even in that instance right
7:49now if you look at market data we
7:51currently have the Los Angeles Chargers
7:53projected out to be a borderline bottom
7:55five offense rest of season which I know
7:57sounds crazy but they've been horrendous
7:59through three weeks and they have a
8:01brutal schedule coming up so out of all
8:04these running backs Keat Mitchell would
8:05probably be the fourth name I'd be
8:07looking at Now going over to Kenyan
8:09Sadi. Kenyan Sadi we popped up as
8:12somebody on Sunday morning like hey Adam
8:15before the game start once Adam and I
8:17Mitchell was ruled out because if you
8:18look at this New York Jets just overall
8:21receiving core you have Garrett Wilson
8:23the certified alpha right Garrett Wilson
8:25incredible talent. We all know that at
8:27this point but then their wide receiver
8:29too Aden I Mitchell he's dealing with
8:32that thumb injury. Maybe it's a finger
8:33injury. Regardless, wouldn't be
8:35surprised if Aden I Mitchell was back
8:37this next week. Omar Cooper, the wide
8:39receiver they selected in round one of
8:41the NFL draft. He actually has hit the
8:43IR. So Omar Cooper, no competition
8:45there. And Kenyan Sadi was the tight end
8:47they selected in round one. And there is
8:50another tight end injury in this New
8:52York Jets offense. So Kenyan Sadi was
8:54all of a sudden going to probably have
8:55to draw some targets. And he looked
8:57phenomenal this past week, right? He got
9:00the volume. He had big plays. This is a
9:02freak athlete tight end that got round
9:04one NFL draft capital. He missed a good
9:07chunk of training camp due to the sports
9:10hernia. So, I honestly expected him to
9:12start off slow this season. The fact
9:14that he scored a touchdown in week one
9:16and now he has more traditional tight
9:18end usage in week three. He is drawing
9:20targets. Um, he's definitely somebody
9:22that should be rostered in every league.
9:23So, I actually just traded away Kyle
9:25Pittz for um I want to say Kyler Murray
9:29in the flock league just that way. So, I
9:31have another quarterback I could
9:32potentially look at starting instead of
9:35freaking Drake May. But if you had like
9:39Kyle Pittz as your second tight end at
9:41this point, I would cut him over for
9:44Kenyan Sadique. Now, going over to the
9:46quarterbacks that we can look at as
9:47streaming options. The first two guys,
9:50I'll say if you're in a shallower
9:51format, you got to start Jared Goff,
9:54right? Let me go ahead and pull up the
9:56early market numbers that we have for
9:59this Detroit Lions game. But there are
10:01two streaming quarterbacks for your
10:02shallow format. You are going to be able
10:04to go ahead and you will be able to look
10:06at Mr. Goff. This game right now, what
10:10makes it so enticing is there is a 50
10:13and a half point overunder. It is
10:16supposed to be one of the highest
10:17scoring games of the week. And that is
10:19also why Bryce Young, who yes, did just
10:22struggle against the Cleveland Browns,
10:23but regardless, why Bryce Young is also
10:26a viable streaming quarterback this week
10:28because it is a very strong matchup that
10:30he has going up against the Detroit
10:32Lions and a game environment in which it
10:35should be a really highscoring. Right
10:37now, if we look at Poly Market US, not
10:39only do we have that overunder at 50 and
10:42a half points, but we also currently
10:43have the Carolina Panthers with a 36%
10:46chance of winning this game. And
10:48obviously, if you want to check out any
10:49of those market numbers, you can find
10:50the link to Poly Market US in the
10:52description, as well as the comment
10:54section. If you sign up with promo code
10:56Flock, you are going to get $50 added to
10:58your account after you deposit your
11:00first 10. But going over to a couple
11:03other streaming quarterbacks, I think
11:05Kyler Murray can be viable if we get
11:08Justin Jefferson back this week. Now, I
11:11am going to be honest, I like Kyler
11:13Murray. This is somebody that I do want
11:16to root on in general. I understand
11:18against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the
11:21fantasy day wasn't incredible. He goes
11:23out there, he has 10 and a half fantasy
11:24points. I think it's difficult to hold
11:27that against Kyler though, just given
11:29the fact that again, you had no Justin
11:31Jefferson for the vast majority of this
11:33game. Right now, the Vikings do project
11:35to score about 24 25 points against the
11:38Miami Dolphins this week. If Jefferson
11:40is back in, I wouldn't be surprised if
11:42the Vikings want to have a statement
11:44game with Kyler against the Miami
11:46Dolphins and just run it up. So, I have
11:49Kyler Murray again now on my bench. Um,
11:52in my league, Jared Goff was already
11:53rostered. Bryce Young was already
11:55rostered. Um, so it's again if I do I go
11:58crazy for Boone Knicks in a tough
11:59matchup against the San Francisco 49ers
12:02or do I roster Kyler and then play the
12:05matchups between him and Drake May
12:06through the rest of the season which I
12:08will say obviously is disgusting. But in
12:11those deeper formats, Kyler is viable
12:13and then also Bo Nicks as well. If you
12:16are looking at Bo Knicks, the hesitation
12:19that I would have this week specifically
12:22is it's a tough matchup that he has
12:24going up against the San Francisco
12:2549ers. I mean, Bo Nicks doesn't have any
12:28rushing upside whatsoever. He hasn't hit
12:3010 rushing yards in a single game this
12:31year, at least. The ankle injury looks
12:33like it zapped it from him. Through the
12:35first two weeks, he was really
12:36struggling. He was averaging fewer than
12:3810 fantasy points per game. Looked good
12:40against the Rams. Again, my hesitation
12:43and why I didn't want to run out there
12:45and pick up Bo Knicks for this week and
12:46instead I'd probably rather play Kyler
12:48myself is it's a tough matchup for
12:51Knicks having to go to San Francisco and
12:53play there and this looks to just be a
12:56very good Niners team. Now, going over
12:58to defenses, there are a ton of
13:00incredible streaming defenses that we
13:03have this week. I mean, I actually put
13:04in like three different waverwire claims
13:06myself for three different defenses just
13:08figuring out which one we are going to
13:10get. So, first the Minnesota Vikings
13:12defense by far and away the best
13:14defense. They are favored by like 11
13:16points here playing Miami at Minnesota,
13:19right? So, the Vikings by far and away
13:22the best defense on the week. They're
13:23probably already rostered in your
13:24league. The second best defense that we
13:26can look at or really good will be the
13:29Baltimore Ravens. So, the Tennessee
13:31Titans have to travel to Baltimore.
13:33Right now, if we look at market data,
13:35the Tennessee Titans project only score
13:3816 points this week, which again is only
13:41ahead of the Miami Dolphins. Then the
13:43Seattle Seahawks, great defense, but
13:45they're already rostered. They get to
13:46play against the Chargers at Seattle.
13:48The Green Bay Packers get to go up
13:50against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And
13:52the Buccaneers have no Baker Mayfield.
13:53They have an undrafted
13:56rookie quarterback
13:58that is going to be under center for
14:00them. The Buccaneers have already been
14:03god awful. As somebody who has to start
14:06a bua in fantasy, trust me, I want
14:08nothing to do with this situation, but
14:11it's just the painful spot that I find
14:13myself in. I know the Packers don't have
14:15the best defense in the world, but this
14:17Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense going to be
14:18so damn bad. They are viable. And then,
14:20of course, the Pittsburgh Steelers as
14:22well, who get to play against the
14:24Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. And
14:27I mean, the lock of the century is the
14:28Browns losing this game, right? There's
14:30no way in hell the Browns with Deshun
14:31Watson are moving to three and one. I
14:33think that's all I got for you. Again, I
14:35am really trying my absolute hardest
14:38helping you with your fantasy team as I
14:40need help with my own and hopefully you
14:43can make a waiverwire move or two that's
14:45going to help you this week. I also have
14:47some small kicker claims that I have in
14:49on my team. So, we'll see if I get the
14:51kicker that I like. But, I'm wishing you
14:53the best of luck, ladies and gentlemen.
14:54I really do appreciate you. I really
14:56hope that you can um pick up somebody
14:58who makes a difference and I hope I get
15:00to see you out in the live stream later
