Aaron Jones

PositiveProjection0:06

Aaron Jones was RB31 in points per game last year with only 3 touchdowns; if he can reach double-digit touchdowns, he could flirt with a top-24 running back number, offering pass-catching and touchdown upside despite being 31 years old.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:06

Aaron Jones' main career issue has been staying healthy, which has been a consistent problem throughout his tenure.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:36

Aaron Jones is aging and could decline significantly, which is a key assumption in drafting Jordan Mason ahead of him.

Insight page

Alvin Kamara

PositiveRole0:43

Kamara is still on the Saints roster and if he remains, would take Travis Etienne off the field on passing downs, limiting Etienne's receiving opportunities.

Insight page

Blake Corum

PositiveRole0:08

Blake Corum is an explosive runner who shares the Rams backfield with Kairen Williams in what the source projects as a 60/40 split, with Corum winning in yards per carry, rushing yards over expected, chunk rate, and breakaway rate, but lacking receiving upside with just 15 career receptions.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:08

Blake Corum plays in the Rams' number-one projected scoring offense with the fifth-best offensive line, making him a valuable piece in that backfield despite sharing carries with Kyren Williams.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:09

Blake Corum and Kyren Williams are roughly even in efficiency metrics; Corum wins in yards per carry, rushing yards over expected, chunk rate, and breakaway rate, while Williams is steadier in success rate.

Insight page

Bucky Irving

NegativeInjury0:15

Bucky Irving's vibes have been terrible with a shoulder injury from last season and no clear timeline, though Todd Bowles indicated he could return sometime during summer or fall, with the analyst expecting him ready by Week 1.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:30

Ranked RB24 due to uncertainty around health and shoulder injury; hasn't been the same since his rookie year and is now squeezed by Kenneth Gainwell for receiving upside and Sean Tucker for goal line work.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:30

Irving hasn't been healthy and 100% since his rookie year and hasn't been the same player since then.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:30

Irving is getting squeezed for receiving upside by Kenneth Gainwell and losing goal-line work to Shawn Tucker, limiting his fantasy ceiling as a smaller back.

Insight page

Chris Rodriguez

NegativeInjury0:29

Rodriguez is dealing with a foot injury and is rehabbing, which gives Beasley Tutin a step up in the Jaguars backfield competition.

Insight page

Chuba Hubbard

NegativeUsage0:04

Chuba Hubbard had a career 0.85 yards per out run last season (bottom 10), making him vulnerable to being usurped by Jonathan Brooks in the Panthers' receiving game workload.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:25

Early in the season (weeks 1-3) before injury, Chuba Hubbard was a top 12 running back in points per game with a top 10 utilization score.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:25

Chuba Hubbard was a legitimate bellcow for the Panthers early on with an awesome role.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:25

Chuba Hubbard had a 62% snap share and 19.9 PPR points in the wildcard game against the Rams, and it's not hard to see him hit the 15 point per game mark again this season.

Insight page
NegativeBust0:26

There is downside for Chuba Hubbard with Jonathan Brooks potentially coming in to steal work, and the Panthers offense may not be good in 2026.

Insight page
NegativeUsage0:36

Hubbard had a career 0.85 yards per route run last season, a bottom-10 efficiency mark, making him vulnerable to losing pass-catching work to Jonathan Brooks.

Insight page

D'Andre Swift

PositiveUsage0:07

DeAndre Swift outperforms Kyle Manungai in all four key efficiency metrics (yards after contact, miss tackles forced, rushing yards over expected, PFF rush grade), establishing him as the clear starter in the Bears backfield.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:38

Consistent RB2 with career history of finishing RB24 or better in PPG, now in an offense projected for 10th most points with 3rd best offensive line.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:39

Swift has finished as an RB24 or better in points per game throughout his entire career and could be a high-end RB2 in an awesome situation in his current offense, consistently turning in RB2 point finishes.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:39

Swift dealt with multiple injuries throughout last year including quadricep, hip, and groin injuries across weeks 3-16, and saw a 19% decrease in his points per game when listed on the injury report.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:39

Dealt with multiple injuries throughout last season (quad, hip, groin across weeks 3-16), averaging 15.1 PPG before groin injury but seeing 19% decrease in PPG when listed on injury report.

Insight page

David Montgomery

PositiveProjection0:33

Ranked RB22 as a high floor volume play and in line to be the Texans workhorse, but analyst has concerns about the Texans offense being projected 22nd and having the worst offensive line, though he could replicate Mixon's 2024 RB9 finish.

Insight page

J.K. Dobbins

PositiveProjection0:10

JK Dobbins was RB26 in points per game last year and RB18 in 2024, ranking third in explosive run rate, sixth in yards per carry, and eighth in missed tackles forced, but he lacks receiving upside and plays in a crowded Broncos backfield with health concerns that make him an early-season hammer for the first four weeks.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveProjection0:41

Williams scored 15 points per game last year as the lead running back on a good offense but is capped out in this range as he lacks the receiving upside needed to jump into RB1 territory.

Insight page
NegativeUsage0:41

Williams capped out around 35 catches last year and lacks clear receiving upside, limiting his ability to break out from his 15 points per game ceiling.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:41

Williams was banged up last year with a neck injury in week 16 that caused a 33% drop in his points per game over weeks 16-18, dropping from 16.2 points per game before the injury to 15 points per game overall.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:42

Williams was legitimately good last year, ranking RB5 in yards after contact per attempt, seventh in missed tackles forced, and RB11 in yards per carry.

Insight page

Jayden Daniels

PositiveProjection0:14

Jaylen Daniels should bounce back in a Washington offense that combines Ben Johnson's pace with Cliff Kingsbury's influence, featuring early downs under center, heavy run action, play action, and third-down versatility.

Insight page

Jaylen Warren

PositiveRole0:17

Jaylen Warren may be Aaron Rodgers' preferred back after playing together all last season, creating a push-pull dynamic with Mike McCarthy potentially favoring Rico Dattle.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:17

Jaylen Warren may be Aaron Rodgers' preferred target after playing with him all last season, creating a push-pull dynamic with Rico Dael in the Steelers backfield.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:18

Jaylen Warren has league-winning upside if Rico Dael gets injured, though the situation remains unclear until one back emerges.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:24

Jaylen Warren is the RB28 but was the RB18 in points per game last year, representing a huge discount.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:24

With Gainwell gone, Jaylen Warren could see 60+ catches again, building on his 61 catches in 2023.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:24

Jaylen Warren always crushes efficiency metrics, finishing top 10 in rushing yards over expected per attempt and missed tackles forced per attempt last year.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:24

Jaylen Warren at RB28 should be a fine fringe RB2 in your lineup, though getting true workhorse volume could be tricky with Rico Dael.

Insight page

Jonah Coleman

PositiveDepth Chart0:11

Jonah Coleman was just drafted by the Broncos and enters a crowded backfield with JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey.

Insight page

Jonathon Brooks

PositiveBreakout0:04

Brooks is generating significant hype and positive reports from the Panthers organization, with the team keeping him fresh during training camp activities.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:04

Brooks has elite receiving ability with half his college highlights being screen passes and wide routes, positioning him to take over pass-catching duties from Chuba Hubbard in the Panthers backfield.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:04

Jonathan Brooks has elite receiving skills from college (screen passes, tracking ability) and could usurp Chuba Hubbard as the Panthers' pass-catching back out of the backfield, with some reports suggesting he could take over as RB1, though analyst is not drafting him at that ceiling.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:26

Brooks presents downside risk as he could steal work from the Panthers' lead back, potentially cutting into the lead back's touches and fantasy production.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:31

Brooks is ranked RB39 but could creep up to RB28-RB30 by week one as training camp and preseason hype builds around his performance.

Insight page

Jordan Mason

PositiveRole0:03

Mason was sixth in rushing yards over expected per attempt last year, indicating he is a solid between-the-tackles runner who just needs the right offensive environment to produce.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:24

Mason is ranked RB40 heading into 2026 on an offense projected to improve significantly, with the Vikings expected to have a healthier offensive line and better scoring environment than last year's bottom-five offense.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:24

In five games without Aaron Jones, Mason averaged 13.9 PPG compared to 5.6 PPG with Jones active, demonstrating significant upside when given a full workload.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:37

Aaron Jones remains the primary back with more desirable workload metrics (snap share, rush attempt share, routes run, PPG), creating a ceiling for Mason's production even if the offense improves.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

PositiveInjury0:40

Jacobs turned himself in over an alleged assault and there is uncertainty about a potential suspension in 2026, though a legal expert feels confident he won't see suspension but notes there's something to monitor regarding potential video or audio evidence.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:40

If Jacobs plays without suspension, he projects as an RB14; if suspended at all, he would rank significantly lower, making his ranking highly dependent on the legal situation outcome.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:41

Jacobs was the RB9 in points per game last year and RB8 the year before, demonstrating consistent elite production in his role.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:41

Jacobs is the lead back in a Green Bay offense that always scores points with only Chris Brooks and Marshon Lloyd behind him, giving him no backup competition and positioning him as their week one running back.

Insight page

Kaytron Allen

PositiveDepth Chart0:12

Katron Allen is one of the limited running back options on the Washington roster alongside Rashad White and Bill Crosky in what is projected to be a solid offense.

Insight page

Kenneth Gainwell

PositiveValue0:15

Kenneth Gainwell has been pushed up the rankings after receiving real money ($9.88M in guarantees) from Tampa Bay, the most among Buccaneers RBs after Kenneth Walker and Travis Etienne, and is ranked RB34 in an H-tier despite strong 2024 production.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:15

Kenneth Gainwell was RB19 in PPG last season with 73 catches, 486 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns—a James White/Darren Sproles-caliber receiving season that went underappreciated at the time.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:16

Kenneth Gainwell was also a strong runner, ranking 9th in success rate, 14th in yards per carry, 14th in explosive run rate, and 14th in missed tackles forced per attempt.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:16

Kenneth Gainwell is a solid H-tier pick in a strong Tampa Bay offense (16th in implied points, 7th best offensive line) despite his RB34 ranking.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:31

Analyst believes Gainwell is probably a better player than Rashad White at this point and the team has more invested in him, squeezing Irving for receiving upside.

Insight page

Kyren Williams

PositiveUsage0:09

Kyren Williams is slightly ahead of Blake Corum in yards after contact and success rate (steady Eddie style running), showing he's the more consistent runner despite Corum's explosiveness.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

NegativeInjury0:26

Quinshon Judkins is coming off an injury that is no joke, and while there is optimism, the analyst is not comfortable with the risk.

Insight page
NegativeInjury0:26

Judkins is coming off a serious fibula fracture and dislocated ankle that the analyst compares to ACL and Achilles tears in severity; historical precedent with Tony Pollard, Mark Andrews, Isaiah Pacheco, and Chris Godwin shows these injuries are brutal to recover from.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:27

Jeff Mueller projects Judkins may not perform well until mid-season at the earliest due to the fibula fracture and dislocated ankle, combined with Cleveland's offensive line overhaul and new coaching staff.

Insight page
NegativeMatchup0:27

The Browns have the worst implied total by Vegas at 17.9 projected points per game with the 28th best offensive line, and are favored in just one game this season, making it difficult to rely on positive game scripts.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:28

Judkins is not a receiving back and only had 26 catches last year; his role is limited to between-the-tackles running, which benefits from positive game scripts the Browns won't have.

Insight page

RJ Harvey

PositiveDepth Chart0:11

RJ Harvey is entering year two in the Broncos backfield, which is now crowded with JK Dobbins and newly drafted Jonah Coleman, creating competition for touches.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:18

RJ Harvey is ranked RB31 and offers year-2 breakout upside, as running backs historically see their biggest jump from year 1 to year 2, with examples like Besson Robinson and Jonathan Taylor.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:19

After JK Dobbins went down in week 10, RJ Harvey was RB13 in PPG with 15.2 points per game, demonstrating strong receiving upside with 3rd most receiving TDs, 6th best passer rating when targeted, and 8th most receptions.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:20

RJ Harvey has a floor as a receiver where catching 60+ balls could make him RB25 in PPG, with massive upside if he improves as a rusher, making him the cheapest year-2 upside RB on the board.

Insight page

Sean Tucker

PositiveRole0:31

Another year in the system with expected bounce back for the Bucks offense, taking away some goal line work from Bucky Irving.

Insight page

Tony Pollard

PositiveDepth Chart0:21

Tony Pollard is the lead back for the Titans at RB30, with his ranking depending on how the Titans offense performs and whether second-year QB Cam Ward takes a step forward.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:21

RB30 is a reasonable spot for Tony Pollard, who has finished RB30 or better in five straight seasons and now has four straight 1,000+ yard seasons with his best yards per carry since 2022.

Insight page
PositiveProjection0:21

Tony Pollard has been RB30 or better in 5 straight seasons with 4 straight 1,000+ yard seasons and his best yards per carry since 2022, making RB30 a reasonable floor even in a tough environment.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:22

Tony Pollard benefits from Brian Dable as head coach, who has ranked top 12 in rushing yards in 8 of his 12 seasons as head coach or offensive coordinator, and could finish inside the top 24 if Cam Ward takes a step forward.

Insight page
PositiveRole0:22

With Cam Ward potentially taking a step forward, Tony Pollard comes with him as the lead back and could easily finish inside the top 24.

Insight page

Travis Etienne

NegativeProjection0:42

Etienne was the RB13 in points per game last year with 13 touchdowns, but given how good the Jaguars offense was, he underperformed expectations.

Insight page
NegativeUsage0:43

Etienne had just 36 receptions last year, his lowest since 2022, and has only gone above 40 receptions once in his NFL career, limiting his receiving upside.

Insight page
NegativeProjection0:43

Despite coming out of school with perceived receiving upside, Etienne has not materialized that in the NFL and should not be penciled in for monster receiving upside going forward.

Insight page
NegativeRole0:43

Etienne will be the between-the-tackles and goal-line back for a Saints offense that is expected to be fun but not top-10 in scoring, with Alvin Kamara potentially still on the roster taking passing-down work.

Insight page

TreVeyon Henderson

PositiveBreakout0:22

Trevon Henderson has year two upside to break out, with his receiving game potentially making a big step forward in 2026.

Insight page
PositiveUsage0:23

Trevon Henderson is a more explosive breakaway runner with multiple touchdowns of 40+ yards out of the backfield.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:34

Year two breakout candidate who was RB24 in PPG last year despite split carries, with 1,000+ yards from scrimmage, 10 TDs, and 17.1 PPG from weeks 9-18. He ranked 9th in rushing yards over expected per attempt and 12th in explosive run rate, with potential to improve as a receiver.

Insight page
PositiveBreakout0:34

Ranked RB20 as an upside swing play; year two breakout candidate who was RB24 in points per game last year despite split with Raandre, with 1,000+ yards from scrimmage, 10 TDs, 17.1 PPG weeks 9-18, 9th best rushing yards over expected per attempt, and 12th best explosive run rate.

Insight page
PositiveValue0:35

The breakout is already priced in at RB21, making him not a screaming value despite his upside potential.

Insight page

Tyrone Tracy

PositiveRole0:33

Analyst is drafting a lot of Tyrone Tracy as the Giants didn't add anyone else to the RB room, giving him a clear path to volume.

Insight page

Woody Marks

PositiveRole0:34

Analyst is curious how much of the receiving workload Marks eats into for David Montgomery, noting that if Montgomery caps out at 35-40 receptions he probably can't crack the top 12 in points per game.

0:00What's going on, man? Welcome back to the basement. I'm Ron and today we are going to continue to lay down our
0:06foundation for the 2026 fantasy football season. Last video, we talked about my top 24 overall players. Today, we are going to break down my top 40 running
0:15back rankings for this fantasy football season. We're going to rank 40 running backs, tier them, and just break down the overall landscape heading into 2026.
0:24As always, if you enjoy, leave a like, subscribe if you're new, and our first player we're going to talk about is the
0:30RB40, Jordan Mason. We are going to count from RB40 down to RB1 and talk about this H tier of running backs that
0:39are just largely handcuffs and flyers at the position. Now, with Jordan Mason, you can kind of throw away what happened last year with the Vikings. JJ McCarthy,
0:48of course, was a disaster. Their offensive line wasn't healthy either. We look at this Rich Rebar tweet in terms of the most often offensive line combo
0:58per team and how many snaps those offensive line combinations played.
1:01Essentially, how healthy was your starting five when it came to offensive line last year? They're all the way down there in the 20s with just a brutal
1:11health year in terms of Darasaw, Jackson, Brandell, Fry, and O'Neal playing on the field together. Just 24.95% of the time. Their offensive line should
1:22be healthier heading into this season.
1:24And we already kind of saw the upside of Jordan Mason. There was five games without Aaron Jones. He had 13.9 points
1:30per game last year. And then with Aaron Jones, 5.6. He's the RB42 in points per game as a whole. you are drafting him
1:36this year as the RB40 on an offense that should be improved. Now, of course, Aaron Jones will be there, but Aaron
1:43Jones is getting older. He could fall off a cliff. He could be dust at this point. And then there's also something
1:48to be said about Jordan Mason, who is a between the tackles grinder, right? Last year was his careerhigh in receptions with 14. He is somebody that needs to be
1:56on a team that is scoring points and moving the ball. That wasn't the case last year, but that could be the case
2:01this year. This is a graphic where we use the implied points and win totals from Las Vegas according to Connor Allen
2:09NFL over on Twitter and then the offensive line rankings from ESPN. Now the Vikings are about middle of the pack, 21st offense in terms of the
2:17projections, but we have seen Kevin Oonnell from 2022 to 2024 essentially before JJ McCarthy have the 13th best offense by EPA per play. And then they
2:26are projected to have the 11th best offensive line in the NFL. So, if they can just go from last year where they
2:32were a bottom five offense with a bad offensive line, if we are now going to score more points, have a good offensive
2:37line, that does set up nicely for Jordan Mason. Again though, Aaron Jones is the thorn on his side. Even when Aaron Jones
2:45came back from injury in week eight, the utilization report over on fantasylife.com shows that Aaron Jones had the more desirable workload in terms
2:54of snap share, rush attempt share, routes run, points per game, all of that. So, if you're drafting Jordan Mason over Aaron Jones, which some
3:03people are, you are kind of projecting better offense, better game scripts, and then Aaron Jones taking a uh step down from what he's been, which is all
3:12possible. I will say, uh, the closing thing I'll say about Jordan Mason is that he was sixth in rushing yards over
3:18expected per attempt last year, which could point to the idea, uh, that he is a solid between the tackles runner. He
3:24just needs to be in the right offense to pay off. Then at RB39, we have kind of like a mystery box with
3:31Jonathan Brooks. He is my RB39.
3:35And I will say these rankings, we're we kind of lay the foundation here with these rankings. And then I'll probably do another one of these right before
3:42week one. He's somebody where I have him RB39 right now. I could see him being somebody who creeps up to like RB30, RB
3:4929, RB28 by week 1. I'm sure we're going to get a ton of hype when training camp fully gets underway. when preseason
3:57games happen because it has just fully been a train. Like that's all I can really say of just like every single
4:04time that you log on to Twitter or anywhere, it's all Jonathan Brooks. This is from uh CoachSpeak Index over on his
4:09Discord. He has a great I believe it's a Patreon and then Discord.
4:14Canales will hold Jonathan Brooks out of team activities today. So this was June 2nd. Today's June 8th. Uh yes, just a
4:19rest day essentially just like they're keeping him fresh and ready to go, but it seems like he has looked great. He's
4:24making progress. uh they love him in the run game, but then half of his highlights coming out of college were screen passes, wides things down the
4:31field. He has a great ability to catch the ball, track it in transition once he catches it. Kind of pointed to the idea
4:36that Chuba Hubard, somebody who had a career. 085 yards per out run, which would have been a bottom 10 type of
4:42number last season, is somebody that can now shoulder the workload in the receiving game for the Panthers out of the backfield and be efficient doing so.
4:51That's what John Brooks kind of offers.
4:53There is a really good piece in the JJ Zachares late round draft guide from last year where he kind of looked at
5:00that if you had under one yards per out run. Usually somebody usurps you in the running game in terms of being a pass
5:07catcher out of the backfield. That could be Jonathan Brooks when it comes to the Panthers this year. There's even been some more glowing reports of like
5:15Jonathan Brooks should take over as the RB1. I I'm not going to draft him at that ceiling, but there certainly is a
5:22an outcome where the round two drafted running back and Jonathan Brooks overtakes the day three Chupa Hover. I know that he's been extended. I know
5:29that he's been there for a long time, but when you look at the history of the NFL, it's not hard to squint and see a
5:35world where that happens, especially like after the by-week down the stretch of the season, we could see things kind of slowly start to pass off. Almost
5:43similar to how it was with Rico Dad last year. Of course, that coincided with a lot of injuries for Chuba Hubard and
5:48like uh fortunate circumstances of Rico Dattle having monster games against weaker opponents, but you get what I'm saying. Carolina not a terrible
5:57situation either. If we look at this chart again, Carolina 27th in terms of implied scoring, so not the best there, but a team that could be behind in
6:06games, could have to pass to their running back, but then also has an awesome offensive line. You have Auanu who's coming off an injury, so we're not
6:12sure what's going to happen there, but they just added Rasheed Walker. They just drafted Monroe Freeling in the first round. They added uh Robert Hunt
6:20last off season. They have a top 10 offensive line according to ESPN and could be a sneaky offense this year.
6:26Then we'll talk about Jordan Mason's running back teammate. We have Aaron Jones at RB38. He was the RB 31 in points per game last year. He offers
6:35pass catching. He offers touchdown upside.
6:39It's just that he is now 31. He could beat dust, he continues. It's really been the issue for him over the course
6:46of his career of staying healthy. But this is somebody that if this offense can actually bounce back and score points, he was the RB31 last year with
6:56just three touchdowns. If he can get the double digits, all of a sudden he is going to be flirting with a top 24
7:01running back number. Then at RB37, again, this is why I said that this range is a lot of uh handcuffs and
7:09flyers because now we're getting into the handcuff range of Kyle Manungai.
7:14This one's tough. I think I'm actually probably lower than consensus on Kyle Manungai.
7:19These premium I would call them premium handcuffs. Maybe you want to talk yourself into the idea that Kyle Manungai can overtake DeAndre Swift. I'm
7:27not quite there. I don't think Manungai was awesome last year. Like he was solid, but he wasn't amazing. This is from Jared Sm here. His ranks among 51
7:35running backs. 33rd in yards after contact per attempt. 40th in miss tackles forced per attempt. 30th in rushing yards over expected per attempt.
7:4226th in PFF rush grade. Swift beat him in all four metrics. Now Swift doesn't always stay healthy. He did get a little
7:48bit banged up down the stretch last season. That's where Monunga could come in, but just right off the bat being better, I would have a tough time seeing
7:57it. Now, when we talk about him as a handcuff, he is very similar to like an Alexander Madison or a Tyler Azir of
8:03years past where if the starter goes down, I feel very comfortable about him being an awesome replacement. Last year, he had one game without Swift. He had
8:1022.8 PPR points. So, that's kind of what you're hoping for. It's a good offense.
8:15It's a good situation. Again, we look at this table. The Chicago Bears are projected for the 10th most points in the NFL with the third best offensive
8:23line. You want pieces of this team. you want pieces of this backfield. I just have a hard time seeing a world where I
8:31am starting Kyle Manungai confidently.
8:33He's probably going to be in like weekly rankings in like the low RB30s as somebody you're just hoping scores a touchdown in your RB2 spot. Uh similar
8:42situation for Blake Corm, another guy where it's do you value him as a true handcuff or do you value him as somebody
8:48that could break out and take over this Rams backfield? Again, similar idea, awesome offense. The Rams have the number one projected scoring offense
8:56with the fifth best offensive line. You want running backs in that backfield.
9:00The issue is that he shares a backfield with Kairen Williams where I tweeted this out and people thought I was like
9:06making an argument for Blake Cororm. I think it's just showing that they're about even, right? Yards per carry, Blake Cororm wins a little bit. Rushing
9:12yards over expected per attempt. Cororm wins a little bit. Yards after contact, Kairen wins a little bit. Mis tackles forced about even. Chunk rate, you give
9:19it to Cororm. Breakaway rate, you give it to Cororum. But then in terms of like success rate, steady Eddie style running, you give that to Kiren Williams
9:26with success rate, yards per out run, Kairen Williams the better receiver slightly, right? 087. Neither of these guys are really catching balls out of
9:33the back field. But it just shows I think that Kairen Williams is your steady runner. He is going to pick up
9:39what is in front of him. He is going to convert. Whereas Blake Corm is more of your explosive runner that can make big
9:46plays. I think that we're going to see a 60/40 split. Last year was like really 6535 split through the playoffs.
9:56It's really tough for me to be like, as much as I I'm not a huge fan of Kairen, it's tough for me to be like, well,
10:01Corm's going to take over now. Cororm's also not a great receiver. He has just 15 career receptions in general. So for
10:06me, it's tough to treat Cororm or Manungai as anything more than a handcuff. Then at RB35, we have JK Dobbins. And this is another one
10:18where again this range of running backs is tough to rank. JK Dobbins last year was the RB 26 in points per game. He was
10:26the RB 18 in points per game in 2024.
10:29But this has kind of been the story of JK Dobbins where he doesn't finish out these strong seasons. He's been getting
10:34hurt last year. He gets hurt in week 10.
10:36He never plays another game. But then you also look at the the Broncos offense and you want pieces. This is the number
10:42one ranked offensive line by ESPN. Vegas has him at just the 19th highest implied point total, but last year this offense
10:50was solid. You of course have Shawn Payeyton. JK Dobbins was also legitimately good last year. He was third in explosive run rate, sixth in
10:56yards per carry, eighth in missles force per attempt, 12th in inside the five% carries in terms of his inside the five
11:03carry share, 16th in success rate, 18th in yards after contact per attempt. He was a good running back, but he doesn't
11:10have receiving upside. He's also now in a crowded backfield where R.J. Harvey's entering year two. You have Jonah Coleman who they just drafted. Of
11:17course, you have the overarching health concerns with JK Dobbins. So, it just gets really tricky of how do these things pan out. But, I will say JK
11:26Dobbins is a fun candidate that you draft and I feel pretty confident that he will be startable for like the first
11:32four weeks and then things can get a little bit hairy. Uh, so he's kind of a early season hammer is what I would call
11:39him. And then at RB34, somebody I've really warmed up to, uh, is Rashad Wei. I want to say he's going over on underdog as like the RB41,
11:49something like that. Uh, and I will say as well, these full rankings are hot, fresh off the press, updated on the
11:54Patreon, patreon.com/ronstewart.
11:57And you can upload these straight into your underdog rankings on there as well.
12:02patreon.com/rronwart in the description and the comment section down below. Now, with Rashad White, I'll be honest, I am a sucker for
12:10this profile, right? This is your uh Antonio Gibson. This is your Rashad White. This is uh if you want to start
12:17getting crazy, you can start, you know, throwing out uh Beijon of 6' 214 lbs catches, passes. He has had 40 catches,
12:2851 catches, 64 catches, 50 catches in his first four seasons, never having a season of less than 40 catches, clearing 50 catches in each of his last three
12:36years. He is by far, in terms of running backs on this roster, it is Rashad White, it is Bill Crosky, Merritt, it is
12:44Katron Allen. They really don't have a ton in this backfield when we know that this is going to be a pretty solid
12:49offense. You look here again, Washington 14th in implied points by Vegas, 17th best offensive line. That is a solid situation. And then on top of that, you
12:59start to look at what this offense can be, right? David Blau is interesting. We haven't seen him call plays yet, but we
13:07can start to infer what a Washington offense might look like. Things get pretty exciting. You have here from Zayn Dani, I believe he's a new guy over at
13:17Fantasy Points. He is a awesome. Give him a follow for sure. Uh David Blau spent the entire offseason deconstructing the playbook and building
13:25it from the ground up with feedback from the coaches and players. He started with his own experience, but items like what
13:30Marcus Merida sees on his own read is different from his perspective. Then you have Pat Thorman. Just wrote them up for
13:36the pace preview. He is the uh pace and I want to say he's in the uh snaps and pace articles for established run. He's
13:44awesome. Pat Thorman. Just pretty much breaking down who has high play volume, right? because we want to attack teams that are either scoring a lot of points
13:51or running a lot of plays. Uh he said that he's banking on faster than Ben Johnson offense but slower than K uh
13:58Cliff Blau actually has more exposure to Cliff but everyone focuses on the Ben Johnson stuff. Could be the best of both
14:03worlds where his like coaching tree isn't the McVey Shanahan tree. It's really like Ben Johnson and then he came to Washington the last year or so
14:12working under Cliff Kingsbury.
14:14Hopefully takes the best of both worlds.
14:17uh should be faster than slower. And then from AB here on the bottom on the Blau offense influenced by Kingsbury but
14:24also Ben McVy Shanahan KC early downs more under center and a heavy emphasis on run action and play action and an
14:31added ability to adjust and improvise with a lot of third down stuff Kingsbury ran uh a lot of third down stuff
14:37Kingsbury ran carrying over. So I'm excited about what this offense is going to look like. Jayen Daniels should bounce back. And if Rashad White is the
14:44lead back for this team, he can flirt with like 10 plus touchdowns, a thousand plus receiving yards, or thousand plus rushing yards, and like 50 plus
14:51receptions, uh, and kind of kill this ADP or this ranking of RB34. And then we will talk about our last running back in
15:00this area, Kenneth Gainwell. This is a guy I've been pushing way up. I want to say he was in like my RB, he was
15:07probably outside of this list up until a week or two ago. And really where it starts is the Bucky Irving vibes have
15:14been terrible. Todd Bulls comes out that he could return sometime during summer or fall. Now I think that he'll be ready
15:21to go by week one. I'm not really taking the fall part, but it's just this is a shoulder injury that he experienced last
15:27season and now we still don't really have a a clear timeline. There were pictures of him at practice the other day looking okay, but the vibes just as
15:36a whole have been crazy. And then on top of that, they gave real money to Kenneth Gainwell. Kenneth Gainwell after Kenneth
15:42Walker after Travis Tienne had the next most total guarantees in his contract with the Bucks at 9.8 8 million more than Tyler Agir, JK Dobbins, Chris
15:50Rodriguez, Kian Mitchell, Rico Dael.
15:53It's not big boy money, but it's real money at the running back position. And last year, he was awesome. He was the RB
15:5919 in points per game. He had 73 catches, 486 receiving yards, eight touchdowns receiving. He was kind of, it was one of those seasons that it didn't
16:08stick out at the time, but we'll go down with like your uh best Naim Hines, Tariq Cohen, JD McKisik, uh Chris Thompson,
16:17James White, Deion Lewis style seasons of 70 plus catchers is no joke at the running back position. And then he was
16:24also a strong runner, too. He was ninth in success rate, 14th in yards per carry, 14th in explosive run rate, 14th
16:29in miss tackles force per attempt. On top of that, you have an awesome environment to score in where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the 17 or the 16th
16:37best implied point total by Vegas with the seventh best offensive line anchored by Tristan Worf. So, I think Kenneth Gainwell isn't a bad shout here in this
16:48H tier. Then we get to our Gtier of Rico Dattle as our RB 32.
16:58And now we're getting into kind of more of your ambiguous backfields, guys that I would be comfortable starting in my lineup. Uh, Rico Dado is interesting. He
17:05now has back-to-back 10,00 plus yard seasons and top 24 point per game finishes on two different teams and now he finds himself on his third team in
17:14three years. He's getting no respect.
17:16Uh, but it's interesting. You have on one hand, Rico Dael had his first 10,00 plus yard season and top 24 point per
17:24game finish with Mike McCarthy over on Dallas. He now links up with Mike McCarthy in Pittsburgh. But then you also have the added
17:35minutia almost of Aaron Rodgers always wanting to play with veterans and guys he has rapport with. And we see that with Jaylen Warren where Aaron Rogers
17:45played with Jaylen Warren all last season and he might feel more comfortable with Jaylen Warren. So now you get kind of a weird push and pull of
17:52the coach maybe bringing in his guy, whereas Aaron Rogers might have his guy and Jaylen Warren. Uh I think that they're both
18:02decent picks where they go. Uh at the end of the day, it is a tough situation where like the Steelers offense isn't
18:07projected to score a ton of points, but there will be fantasy points to be had.
18:10Uh I don't know that it's going to feel good starting either or on a weekly basis until we see one of them kind of
18:17emerge. And then I also think both of them, Enrico Dattle and Jaylen Warren have league winning upside if the other one was to get hurt. But if they both
18:23stay healthy throughout an entire season, things could get a little tricky. Then at RB31, this is where I will take the upside
18:32swing on an RJ Harvey. I know that he's not for everybody, but we have to understand that you can kind of bake in
18:39a jump for these year 2 running backs.
18:43This is from Ryan Heath, a friend of the channel, from his 2024 article where he looked through breakout age and uh
18:51breakout seasons when it comes to fantasy football, running backs, wide receivers, all of that. And for running backs, the biggest jump you see is from
18:58year 1 to year two. Think of uh Bezon Robinson let everybody down in year one, was awesome in year two. I want to say
19:05uh Aren Foster, his monster year came in year two. I know that we've sort of seen some of these breakouts happen year
19:11three, year four, year five recently, but year two for running backs is the year actually not even that. Jonathan Taylor was a monster in his second
19:18season. Melvin Gordon was a monster in his second season. Uh, a lot of the times this is where you see these
19:23running backs take massive steps and I think that that could be coming for RJ Harvey. Again, this Denver offensive line is awesome. Shawn Payeyton runs a
19:33good offense. Uh, and then once JK Dobbins went down in week 10 last year, RJ Harvey was the RB 13 in points per
19:39game with 15.2 points per game. Now, of course, JK Dobbins is healthy for week one, he will be in there. Uh, and even
19:46still, we could see RJ Harvey grow in his role and become a startable RB2 on a weekly basis with a healthy JK Dobbins
19:53alongside of him because of his receiving role. He is going to be somebody that catches a lot of passes and just on that alone, his explosive
20:00upside, we could see him be a back-end RB2 in a crowded offense. But then there is upside where if he can improve as a
20:07rusher where last year third worst success rate, fourth worst rushing uh yards over expected per attempt, fourth worst stuff rate, seventh worst yards
20:14per carry, eighth worst yards after contact per attempt, ninth worst explosive run rate. But as a receiver, he was awesome. third most receiving
20:24touchdowns, sixth best passer rating when targeted, sixth most receiving first downs, eighth most receptions, eighth most yards, 12th best yards per
20:31out run. So, he was explosive as a receiver, efficient as a receiver, and if he can just grow as a rusher, you
20:37have the floor of him as a receiver where you can almost I'm not saying he's going to catch 70 plus balls like uh
20:43Kenneth Gall did last year, but that kind of illustrates where if RJ Harvey can catch 60 plus balls, he'll be like
20:50RB 25 points per game. But if you can put it together as a rusher as well, all of a sudden he has the makings of a
20:56massive upside swing that isn't really afforded to you in the current running back landscape, right? These guys like Trevian Henderson and Jadarian Price and
21:04a lot of these upside running backs I like are priced up the board. RJ Harvey is probably the cheapest one that offers
21:10that year to upside at running back.
21:13Then we will get to our RB30.
21:16This one is just pretty simple. Tony Pard is the lead back for the Titans.
21:20And it comes down to how you feel about the Titans this season. They have a wide range. We look here, 26 in implied points, 29th best
21:29offensive line, but we know with these secondyear quarterbacks just as much as the running backs have a secondyear jump in their profile. We also see with
21:37quarterbacks like Jared Goff in his second year was awesome. Carson Wenton the second year was awesome. Drake May last year, Caleb Williams last year. We
21:43could definitely see Kim Ward take that next step. And even if not, RB30 is still a really reasonable spot for Tony
21:50Pard. He has been the RB30, the RB8, the RB23, the RB22, and the RB29 over his past five seasons, finishing as the RB30
21:57and better or better in five straight seasons. He now has four straight 1,000 plus yard seasons. He had his best yards
22:04per carry season last year since being the RB eight in points per game in 2022.
22:09And now you have Brian Dable who has ranked top 12 in rushing yards in eight of his 12 seasons as the head coach or
22:14offensive coordinator for an NFL team.
22:17Again, it's a tough spot. It's a tough environment, but if Cam Ward can take that step forward, Tony Pard comes with
22:23him as the lead back for this team and could easily finish inside of the top 24. Now, on the other side of a guy like
22:30RJ Harvey in terms of year two breakouts, we have Raandre Stevenson where last year Raandre was just straight up the better running back
22:39between him and Trevon Henderson. He had uh a worse yards per carry, but he had a better rushing yards over expected per
22:45attempt, better yards after contact, better miss force, better chunk rate, better breakaway rate, though breakaway run rate's like about the same, better
22:52success rate. So, he was much more kind of similar to Kairen and Cororm. Uh I think Henderson has a lot more receiving
22:57upside than Cororm, but Raandre was the steady Eddie runner. Uh he did have some fumble issues, but in terms of just like
23:03getting what's blocked, he was amazing.
23:06And then Henderson was a little bit more of an explosive like breakaway breakaway runner. Uh where breakaway run rate right here is 15 plus yards, but
23:14Henderson had multiple touchdowns of like 40 plus yards out of the back field. Uh and then on top of that, Raandre had a 1.37 yards per out run.
23:22That is awesome as a receiver. I still do think that Henderson has year two upside to break out. We'll talk about
23:28him later. I think that his receiving game could really make a big step forward this season, but Raandre as it stands, especially early season, he is
23:36going to be somebody where for week one, he might be the RB20 in my week one rankings as somebody you can play right
23:43away. But I do have some fears that down the stretch of the season in week 12, 13, 14, if Henderson does take a step
23:51forward this season, which I think that that's like the biggest flaw that we have as an industry or just as a
23:56community is we look at what happened last year and we pace it to this year.
24:00Remember Henderson's heading into year two, he could make strides to become a better player in 2026.
24:06Something that we saw, I think Raandre Stevenson in his second year was awesome as well. So we'll see how that shakes
24:11out. Then we have the other side of our Rico Dael Steelers backfield. We have Jaylen Warren as the RB28. He was the RB
24:1918 in points per game last year. You're getting a huge discount on that. He has familiarity with Rogers. He had 61
24:25catches in 2023. With Gainwell gone now, we could see Jaylen Warren push for 60 plus again. And he's always going to
24:32crush these efficiency metrics. Last year he was top 10 rushing guards over expected per attempt. Mackles force per attempt. He always looks good in
24:38efficiency.
24:40We've just been struggling to get like the true true workhorse volume for Jaylen Warren. I think it's going to be tricky with Rico Dael, but that RB28, I
24:48think he's going to be a fine uh fringe RB2 in your lineup. And then the last running back in this tier is going to be
24:55Chuba Hubard. Uh Jonathan Brooks hype, you know, to the side. Chuba Hubard has been a steady running back for this
25:04team. Last year was brutal in terms of 3.8 eight yards per carry, but he did deal with injury and then he kind of got
25:11uh rushed back from injury to sort of try and hold off Rico Dao from the starting job and it just kind of ruined
25:17his season for him. But early on weeks one through through three before he was hurt before the Rico Dao stuff, he was a
25:23top 12 running back in points for game with a top 10 utilization score.
25:27Utilization score is by fantasy life and Dwayne McFarland. It pretty much just breaks down your snap share, your rush attempt share targets, your routes, just
25:35your overall usage, your role, and spits out a number. He had an awesome role. He was a legitimate bellcow for this team
25:41early on. And then again, things kind of just slipped away from Chuba Hubard as he got hurt, as Rico Dattle emerged. And
25:49then even as we get into the playoffs, things kind of switched back to Chuba Hubard where Rico Dattle walks and signs
25:55with the [clears throat] Steelers and they keep Chuba Hubard who had a 62% snap share and 19.9 PPR points in that
26:01wildcard game against the Rams. He's going to be the lead back behind an offensive line. We talked about it earlier. They are ranked ninth by ESPN.
26:09It's not hard to see him hit that 15 point per game mark again this season.
26:14But again, there is downside for Jonathan Brooks to come in and steal some of that work. And then also this Panthers offense would just not be that
26:20good in 2026. Now moving on to our Dtier, we have I would call these like firmly RB2s, like backend RB2s, but all strong
26:32options that I feel like you could plug and play into your RB2 spot in week one.
26:36We have first up at RB26, Quinn Sean Judkins.
26:42I would love to be all in on Judkins. I love them as a prospect, but this injury he's coming off of is no joke. And I
26:48know that there is plenty of optimism out there. People aren't super super spooked off of the injury just yet, but it's just not for me. This is from Ryan
26:56Heath here. Pretty much just breaking down that these fibula fractures for NFL players have been brutal. Tony Pard, uh, I love Tony Pard. The year after his
27:04fibula injury, he wasn't the same player. Same thing happened for Mark Andrews, Isaiah Pacheco, Chris Godwin.
27:10These ankle fibula style injuries. They don't seem super crazy, but they are to me up there with like ACL tears and
27:17Achilles tears as brutal injuries to come back from. We have this from Jeff Mueller as well, saying if I were to
27:23guess today, if Quinchon Judkins performs well at any point in 2026, it'll be after mid-season because of the fibula fracture, dislocated ankle late
27:29season, Cleveland overhauling all five starting offensive line spots, new coaching staff. Maybe he comes alive down the stretch and regains form, but I
27:39just have a tough time wanting to bet on that. And I get it. He's an elite athlete. He's a young player. Maybe he's
27:45going to bounce back from this injury in a good way. But also, you have to remember, what do you win when you win?
27:50If this goes right, what does that look like? Cleveland Browns have the worst implied total by Vegas. 17.9 projected points per game with the 28th best
28:00offensive line. You're talking about a bad football team, a bad offensive line, and then a player who doesn't really have a receiving skill set in terms of
28:10what he offers you. Last year, he had 74.6% of his backfield's expected fantasy points when leading, 56.1% when trailing. The Browns are favored in just
28:20one game this season. He is somebody that only had, I want to say, 26 catches last year. He's not a receiving back by
28:27trade. That's more Dylan Samson's role with this team. So, if you are talking about the between the tackles grinder that benefits from positive game scripts
28:36on the Browns, I just have a tough time really wanting to buy into that archetype with Quinn Sean Judkins.
28:43Again, I love the player. I'll probably be all over him in year three, but for me in year two, I have a tough time
28:49getting there. Then at RB25, we have Basil 2. And people are going to hate this one again. Year two running back
28:56jumps. I want pieces of this Jaguars offense attached to Liam Cohen and Trevor Lawrence after the week eight byee last year. They had the seventh
29:04best EPA per play offense. They lost only one game after the by-week and the offense looked awesome. We already have positive reviews for Basil 2 coming out
29:12of camp here saying why I think Basil 2 is one of the early winners from Jags OTAAS. Uh only move I could potentially
29:18see coming is for a running back since Rodriguez foot is messed up. That's from Dillo, one of the big I wouldn't call
29:24him a beat reporter, but he's like big in the Jags media space. Uh he's already saying that Chris Rodriguez is dealing
29:30with an injury. And then we have from Zayn here on the bottom. Tutin is the potential future of the backfield even
29:35if Chris Rodriguez gets work. This is from a uh like press conference the Jaguars did. He kind of gave Nuggets here. If they want the running game to
29:42be dynamic, they need Toutin to play well. Don't think they replace ETN's number with one player. They think Tuton is the guy and it's his job to lose.
29:49don't know how serious Chris Rodriguez injury is, but he is rehabing. So, he already has a step up on Chris Rodriguez
29:56and I think that the most important thing with the two and profiles. He came into the league as a explosive runner, a
30:04speed score darling. He ran in the four threes at the combine, but he was actually a better short yard success rate guy. Success rate just being uh is
30:13he converting short yardage situations.
30:14He did that at a higher rate than Chris Rodriguez last year. You have that from Datarama. highest success rates by a
30:20rookie running back since 2021. Tutin leads the list and then it's Randre Pacheco, Bucky Irving, Jal Mclofflin, uh Bill, and Jaylen Warren. That's a great
30:28list to be a part of. They're not all hits, but in terms of these day three running backs that end up being anything
30:32in the NFL, a lot of them are on this list. We're talking about an awesome offense. He has the goal line upside, he
30:38has receiving upside, year two progression upside, explosive playability. I think it's all there for Beasel Ton to take. I will be ranking
30:46him aggressively this season. Now, somebody that I have a tough time ranking aggressively is Bucky Irving.
30:53He's my RB 24. We don't know when he's going to be healthy and 100%. He hasn't really been the same guy since his
30:59rookie year. And then we also now have Kenneth Gainwell coming in squeezing him for receiving upside and he's a smaller back. We now have Shawn Tucker taking
31:07away some of the goal line work and he's now getting squeezed. But then you also understand that he is a year three
31:15breakout candidate where Tampa Bay has the seventh best offensive line predicted for the 16th most points in the NFL. Uh they have fun game trips
31:21with Baker Mayfield. He was the RB 17 in points per game last year with just a 3.4 yards per carry. He wasn't even that
31:27good last year. And I'm ranking him RB 24 this year. It's pretty easy to see him beat this out. But again, it's also
31:33tough with a now messy backfield to the three-way committee. I think Kenneth Gainwell is probably a better player than Rashad White at this point in time.
31:40They clearly have more invested in him.
31:41Sean Tucker, another year in this system. I expect a bounce back for the Bucks offense. I just don't know if Bucky Irving is going to be what he was
31:51as a rookie is what I would say. I think backend RB2 is where I'll have him ranked until we get some more positive
31:56stuff about the injury. Another player dealing with injury and why this range is really tough because you have a lot of these guys, right? Three of the four
32:02players. Judkins coming off a major injury. Bucky Irving, nobody knows what's going on with the shoulder.
32:06Scatterabo coming off a brutal injury where his ankle was at a 45 degree angle uh or 90 degree angle really. He is in
32:15that same boat as Judkins coming off the fibial injury. We don't know how that is going to look in 2026, but I do
32:21understand the upside with Scatabo. I was all over him last year. I got crushed for being so into Scatabillo last year, but we saw from weeks two
32:28through seven when he was healthy in the lead back for this team, he was averaging 18 plus points per game. He
32:34had the eighth best utilization score.
32:36It was very clear he was the goal lineback and the receiving back. And that's what you want for fantasy football.
32:42He had an 80% inside the five rushing share. He had a 15% target share. Again, that's what we're looking for. It's just
32:51off of this injury. I have a really tough time trusting it. But they did add nothing to this running back room. It is
32:56him. It is Tyrone Tracy. That is it. So, there is something to be said about them almost quietly giving a vote of
33:04confidence saying, you know what, we're not going to sign a running back. We're not going to bring anybody in. It's Scatabo. It's Tyrone Tracy. But, I will
33:10say I am drafting a lot of Tyrone Tracy as well. Now, moving on to our RB22.
33:16This one is really more of a floor and volume play, which always scares me in this range of running back. Like you
33:22could definitely make the case that David Montgomery is a old school style uh dead zone RB, but he's also in a
33:32pretty good spot. He is in line to be the Texans workhorse running back. He is a high floor volume play. He was still
33:38solid last year. He wasn't the same Montgomery he was in 2024, but he was 11th in rushing yards over expected per
33:43attempt, 13th in yards after contact per attempt. And really the issue I have with Montgomery is I think that he's going to be fine. He's going to be a
33:50solid running back. he'll get a lot of the volume, but this Texans offense is projected to be 22nd and then they have
33:57the stone worst offensive line. But I will say that was a similar situation for Mixon where he crushed in 2024 where
34:04that was the CJ Strad sophomore slump year I believe, right? 25 24. Yeah, that was the 2024 CJ Strad slump year. Still bad offensive
34:15line and Mixon was the RB9 in points per game. I could see that for David Montgomery. I will be curious to see how
34:21much of the receiving workload Woody Marks eats into because if David Montgomery caps out at like 35 to 40 receptions, he probably can't crack the
34:30top 12 in points per game. Then at RB20, I have an upside swing. I think people are going to hate where I have him, but
34:38this will be where I rank Trevon Henderson. Again, year two breakouts happen at the running back position. I do know that Raandre was the better
34:48running back last year, but now we're into 2026. This could be where Henderson gets better. He showed a lot of promise
34:54last year. He was already the RB24 in points per game last year despite the split with Raandre. He had a 1,000 plus
34:59yards from scrimmage, 10 total touchdowns, 17.1 points per game from weeks 9 through 18. He was ninth best rushing yards over expected per attempt,
35:0712th best in explosive run rate. There's some stuff to cling on to. I also think that he can take a huge step forward as
35:12a receiver. He wasn't great as a pass blocker last year. he was fine as a receiver. Those were his calling cards
35:18in college where if he can now pair the explosive ability in the run game with the solid receiving parts of his college
35:24game, I think all of a sudden we're talking about somebody that could be the breakout candidate of 2026. But I will
35:31say that's where he's getting drafted.
35:33The breakout is already priced in. He's not some screaming value I'm leaving every draft with because it's already priced in. So RB21's where I have him.
35:39I'll be honest, that's about where he's going over on underdog. And if you're out there saying, "Well, that's nonsense. Trevan Henderson can't be the
35:46RB21. Go over on Underdog. Use promo code Ron. Play $5, get $50. Use the link in the description and the comment
35:53section down below and go draft literally anybody else at RB21 if you think that Trevon Henderson is going too high in that format. Then our RB20
36:03is we have Jaren Price. And this one's interesting with Price because the first thing that comes to my mind personally is how is Price not higher?
36:15He was drafted in the first round to the Super Bowl champions and is now a part of what Vegas believes is going to be an awesome offense even
36:23without Clint Kubak. They have Seattle projected for the eighth most points with the 10th best offensive line in the NFL. And then the other aspect is you
36:30have a lot of uncertainty around Charbanet. We have this report from abcash over on the insiders I believe or at fantasycash kind of recapping the
36:41insiders podcast saying late November to early December return projected for Zack Sharpy. So that gives you September, October and then pretty much most of
36:51November for Jadarian Price. It is him.
36:54It is Emanuel Wilson. He will be the lead back. So, I will admit there is some downside when we talk about the
37:01playoff weeks being the most valuable, right? Weeks 15, 16, and 17, that is when the money is made in your league.
37:07There's a chance that Charban comes back and makes things tough to project around that time of year, making him a worse
37:13pick than he would be if it was just a round one running back in the backfield was his. But I would also say that there
37:18is upside that Jaren Price is so good that Zack Charbanet coming off an ACL they want to be more cautious with going
37:24into a playoff run where Jariian Price is just so far and away better than every other option in the backfield.
37:30They just kind of ride the hot hand into the playoffs. That is a scenario that could play out. This is a round one
37:35mystery box profile I want to be betting on. This is an explosive back. He led this entire running back class in 15
37:43plus yard run rate. He had three kick return touchdowns on 22 kick returns, 36.1 yards per return. Why that matters is he's just an explosive back with the
37:52ball in his hands. And he still forced Jeremiah Love kind of out of a Heisman where he had 761 yards from scrimmage,
37:5913 total touchdowns. Really the biggest red flag for Jaren Price is that he doesn't really catch the football. He had just six catches in his most recent
38:07season at Notre Dame. He had under a one yards per out run. So that's what could kind of kill him down the stretch as
38:12Sharbon becomes the passing down back.
38:14But still if Jarien Price can keep Charban off the field on the goal line, which is going to be tough because
38:21Kenneth Walker couldn't do it. But Kenneth Walker is a rare archetype at running back where he's an amazing explosive home run hitter, but
38:29he's not the best at your short yardage success rate style metrics. Jaren Price could be that for the Seahawks. So then
38:36at RB19, our last running back in this range is going to be DeAndre Swift. Uh it's very simple. This is a an offense I
38:44want exposure to. We look here at the Vegas projections. They're projected for the 10th most points, the third best offensive line. He was the RB16 last
38:53year, RB21 before that, RB24 before that, RB15, RB8, RB15 before that. Over his entire career, dating all the way back to his rookie year, he has finished
39:02as an RB24 or better in points per game.
39:05He was at the 14.3 points per game in total last year. Uh but he also dealt with injuries. This is this is a great
39:12article from Dwayne McFarland over on fantasylife.com breaking down the players that dealt with injuries last year that maybe you forgot about. And
39:20you look at DeAndre Swift where he had a week three quadricep, week four hip, week seven groin, week eight groin, week
39:26nine groin, groin in week 10, hip in week 11, hip in week 12, groin in week 16. He was just banged up all over the
39:31place. Before the groin injury, he was at 15.1 points per game. He then saw a 19% decrease in his points per game when
39:40he was listed on the injury report. We could see Kyle Monungai complicate things, but I also think that Swift could just be a high-end RB2 in an
39:47awesome situation in this offense like he has been his entire career. Like he just turns in RB2 point finishes all around the world. Then we have our
39:57Ctier. This is high-end RB2s with RB1 upside. We have Josh Jacobs here who would probably be at the top of this
40:04tier if we had clarity on his situation.
40:07Of course, he was at practice, business as usual, uh, but he was, of course, he turned himself in over some kind of
40:16assault or alleged assault. I really don't know. We have this from Drew Davenport. He breaks down a lot of the law stuff as it pertains to fantasy
40:22football. He said he feels confident that Jacobs won't see a suspension in 2026. But then he also tweeted that there's something to monitor where
40:29they've been hinting that there could be a video or a recording. Uh essentially saying that, you know, there's audio or when someone
40:39gets called, there's just a lot happening here. All right. I don't have the answers. I wasn't there. Uh so it just becomes really tough. We're really
40:47early in the offseason to kind of figure out what to do with Josh Jacobs. If he plays, he is probably like my RB
40:5314. uh if he's suspended at all, he's probably way lower than this. So, you kind of have to be in the middle of what
41:00if there's no suspension, what if there is a suspension? Uh regardless, he's was the RB9 in points per game last year,
41:06the RB8 in points game the year before that. Uh he's in a Green Bay offense that always scores points. He's the lead
41:11back with only Chris Brooks and Marshon Lloyd behind him. Uh they quite literally have no backup plan for Josh Jacobs. And for now, like Laflur said,
41:19it's business as usual for them. It seems like they are leaning on him to be their week one running back. Then at RB17,
41:28I will put Javvante here. Uh he is pretty simply the lead running back on a good offense. He scored 15 points per
41:36game last year. He did cap out around 35 catches. So when we're in this range of RB2s and we're trying to jump up to RB1
41:42range, we need touchdown upside. We need receiving upside. Javvante obviously has touchdown upside, but the receiving upside isn't as clear. Uh, this Cowboys
41:49team didn't add anything at running back. They still just have Jaden Blue behind him. And this is somebody that was banged up last year and you can
41:58definitely point to again that Dwayne McFarland article, week 16 had a neck injury, week 17, week 18 and he saw a
42:0433% drop in his points per game over that span. In his first 13 contests, he saw I want to say somewhere in like the
42:1116.1 point per game range. Yeah, 16.2 points per game uh before the neck injury in week 15. So, even better than
42:18that 15 points a game that he has over the entire season. Uh, last year he was legitimately good as well. RB5 in yards
42:25after contact per attempt, seventh in missed tackles forced, RB11 in yards per carry. But again, that receiving upside just point4 yards per out run last year.
42:33Again, that JJ Zachary uh article kind of breaks down that when you have a really poor efficiency receiving season, you usually take a
42:41step back in terms of your receiving total or you just can't really break out from again. I think he had like 36
42:46catches last I don't think that he is going to see much more than that. So, he sort of capped out in this 15 point per
42:51game range as the lead back for the Cowboys. Then we can talk about Travis UT.
42:56This is a tough one. He was the RB 13 in points per game last year. He had 13 touchdowns, but given how good the
43:01Jaguars offense was, you would have hoped for a little bit more. He had just 36 receptions, his lowest since 2022.
43:07He's only gone above 40 receptions once.
43:10So, this is somebody coming out of school I thought had a lot more receiving upside than he's had in the NFL so far. But I wouldn't pencil him in
43:17for having monster receiving upside. You also have this from Ryan Heath. Kind of outlining that
43:27we like Kell Moore. I like Kell Moore.
43:30But when we look at the leading play callers by total backfield fantasy volumes just in terms of who is using their running backs the most, you have
43:37Kell Moore who ranks 30th of 33 qualifiers and dead last among guys with play calling gigs in 2026. You also have
43:44Alvin Kamara still on this team kicking around doing whatever. I don't know that he's going to be on the roster, but if
43:50he is, at the very least that's going to take Travis Ten off the field on passing downs. And you just have a guy who is
43:55the between the 20s and or not between the 20s, but between the tackles, he'll be the goal line back for a Saints
44:01offense I think is going to be fun, but not top 10 in scoring. I I would much rather play this offense through the
44:09high volume nature where uh Kell Moore 11th in plays per game last year, first and seconds per snap, second and no
44:14huddle rate. They're going to have a lot of plays. So Travis T will be out there for a lot of plays, but I'd rather take
44:19advantage of that through PPR, point reception, and just get Chris Ave, Tyler Shuck, Jordan Tyson, uh and play it that way, through the air than it is me
44:30wanting to play Travis TN on the ground.
44:33Now, I will say as well, something to note is this strength of schedule for the Saints, second easiest in the NFL.
44:38That could be more positive game strips for Travis Tien, but again, I think that he's going to tap out around that RB-15,
44:43RB16 range this season. Then we have Kairen Williams as my RB-15. He just continues to score touchdowns, outproduce ADP. Uh he's been at 15.5
44:54points per game last year, 17 the year before that, 21.3 the year before that.
44:58So, he's continuing to beat out ADP.
45:03continuing to score well. He is declining in terms of his production, but I don't know how much further down it's going to go. He went from 87%
45:09snapshare in 2024 to 68% snapshare last year in 2025. I don't know how much lower it can get. I think like 6535 or
45:1760 to 40 split with Cororum is about right. But he showed last year that even in a spike year of touchdowns for
45:23Stafford, we still had Kairen Williams scoring 12 plus touchdowns, finishing as a top 12, top 15 score at the position and being just fine in fantasy. I think
45:33again, as much as I like Blake Corm, I still think that Kron Williams will be the main back on this team and RB 15
45:38sounds about right for the lead back on the number one offense by Vegas with a top 10 offensive line. Then we will have
45:47Bree Hall, RB14.
45:50I get people are done with Bree Hall. Uh the elephant in the room is the Jets suck, right? Again, we look at that
45:55chart and we can definitely see that the Jets are going to be way down below 29th best offense in the NFL, but they have
46:02the 14th best offensive line by ESPN.
46:04Their offensive line is legitimately good. They have Arman Membu, they have Olu Fashanu, they have a good interior with Joe Titman. The offensive line is
46:12solid. And I think what you're getting with Bruce Hall where some of these guys before him have high touchdown upside.
46:16With Bree Hall, you're hoping that he is the goal line back so that maybe he can still get some touchdowns in this
46:20offense, but I think that he's the only one on this team or in this tier with legitimate 70 plus reception upside. We
46:27can look at him since he was drafted in 2022. He is behind just in terms of active players, Christian McAffrey, Austin Eckler, Beison Robinson, Alvin
46:37Kamar, Jamir Gibbs. in terms of receiving yards per game. He's ahead of Devon Han with 29.3. That is awesome. He also has seasons of 57 catches and of 76
46:47catches. He has a career 1.51 yards per out run. One of seven running backs or no last year that would have ranked sixth among uh
46:57Bejon, CMC, Gibbs, Jaylen Warren, and Scataba would have been ahead of him in terms of yards per run. He does that
47:03every season. Anything over like 1.25 25 is really solid in terms of yards per run for a running back. He's cleared
47:09that every single year. He had a two yards per run as a rookie. This is somebody that I think can still
47:13recapture a lot of what he was coming out of school, especially that 76 reception season when he was awesome in his second season. He was last year
47:20still fourth in explosive run rate, 10th in miss tackles force per attempt. The juice is there, the breakaway speed is there, the receiving upside is there. He
47:28was just let down by this team last year. I think that he has more receiving upside as well with a guy like Gino
47:31where last year Justin Fields and Tyrod Taylor were his best quarterbacks who are scrambling quarterbacks are not going to check down a ton. And then he
47:38also deal with four games of Brady Cook.
47:40If you take out those four games, he was at 14.4 points per game. Still in a brutal situation with Tyrod Taylor and
47:46Justin Fields, but still he was around the RB14 in points per game. If you gave him that 14.4 point per game number this
47:55year with Gino Smith, there should be more checkdowns. The offense should be better, right? They add Kenyan Sadique.
47:59They add Omar Cooper. Uh you now have again Gino Smith in here. I think that you're at least just going to get sort
48:04of a bottom five dumpster fire with a scrambling quarterback who's throwing for less than 200 yards per game. You're going to get a decent quarterback, more
48:12pass attempts, more checkdowns, and Bree Hall is going to challenge for legitimately 70 plus catches uh and probably score in the range of like 8 to
48:2110 touchdowns and flirt with backend RB1 numbers. And then my final running back in this range is going to be RB13,
48:30Jeremiah Love. Now, I will say this is going to be the area of the video where I'm just going to give you the spark
48:35notes or the cliff notes for what we went over in the top 24 overall rankings video. I'll put that somewhere linked up
48:41here. But RB13, we have Jeremiah Love.
48:44The cheapest I can remember a top 10 pick. Genty was a one-two turn guy last year. Jeremiah Love is much cheaper. Of
48:49course, the Cardinals suck. Who knows where Kobe Brassette's going. Uh, and then they also still have Tyler Aier, James Connor, and Trey Benson all under
48:57contract on the 31st projected offense with the worst win total in the NFL. But Jeremiah Love is a special player who
49:04could be one of the guys you need down the stretch. Then we have Btier RB12.
49:09You have Derrick Henry, 19.8 points in RB as the RB4 in 2024. He was the RB8 in points per game last
49:16season. It just comes down, he's 32 years old. Does Father Time catch up to Derk Henry? Then we have Amari and
49:24Hampton as our RB11. This one's tough.
49:26McDaniel's run game is always awesome.
49:29They're going to have a healthy offensive line this year with Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater.
49:34But the question is like, is Omari and Hampton actually good. Running back is so situationally dependent. The situation is all there. Herbert
49:41McDaniel, offensive line is awesome. Can he be what he was drafted to be? Amari Hampton's my RB11. And then we have
49:47Kenneth Walker, somebody who was out to the top 24 running backs in points per game last year, but in a split with
49:52Charbanet. Now he is kind of earned his merit in the NFL. He wins Super Bowl MVP. He gets signed to the Chiefs in an
49:59awesome offense. Can he be an RB1 in this situation? It's probably the best situation he's been in in his career.
50:06Then we have Chase Brown as my RB9. He is somebody that was 19.4 points per game in his eight games with Joe Burrow
50:14last year. And the Bengals have the fifth or the third easiest schedule this season. Joe Burrow is healthy. Chase Brown should be an RB1 this year. Then
50:23we have Devon Achan.
50:25This one's really tough. Uh I love Achan, but without Tua, who is a checkown specialist, without Mike McDaniel, who is an offensive guru, we
50:32now have Malik Willis in here. We now have one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. Uh you're going to have a lot
50:37less checkdowns from Malik Willis.
50:39You're going to have a lot less efficient run game without Mike McDaniel. Can Devon Achan get the volume as a 188-lb back with a new coaching
50:48staff? Can he create his own efficiency in a bad offense? There's a lot of questions here, but Devon Achan I think
50:54at RB8 makes sense for now. Uh then we have our next tier. These are just locked and loaded top end RB1s. We have
51:00Saquon Barkley, RB7. I like the bounceback with the Eagles, with a healthy offensive line, with a new offensive coordinator.
51:09He's not washed, at least in terms of the uh GPS tracking data. He had two of the top 15 ball carrier speeds last
51:16year. Then at RB6, we have James Cook. He was RB6 in points per game last year with 14 total touchdowns and 33 receptions. There's
51:24upside that Josh Allen, his 14 rushing touchdowns, come down. And then there's also upside that James Cook, who came out of college as a passcatching running
51:32back, has his full potential realized.
51:35And if he can hit 50 plus catches, if he can hit 20 plus touchdowns, all of a sudden, James Cook could be the RB1
51:40overall in fantasy. Then we have my RB5, Ashen Genty, who I love. I expect Kubak to turn this thing around. Linder Bomb
51:46to turn this thing around. Mendoza to turn this thing around. And Ashen Genty, he had 20 24 carries, 128 yards, and a
51:53touchdown versus the Texans defense. And a catch for 60 yards and a touchdown.
51:57This is somebody who's going to be the focal point of this Raiders offense with a ton of passcatching upside after 55
52:03catches last year. I really like Genty.
52:06Uh then we have JT who until Daniel Jones got hurt had 23.9 points per game which is actually higher than what
52:12McAffrey had last year. But the question becomes what does Daniel Jones look like a year off of the Achilles surgery? The
52:19Colts also had a really easy or not an easy schedule, they just had like an all-time offensive surge for that 13week
52:26stre uh stretch. I don't know that they are going to recapture that uh this season. Then S tier, these are your 101
52:32candidates. McAffrey when he plays a full season, he's the RB1 overall. When he doesn't, he is one of the worst picks
52:38on the board. Uh Bejon, really awesome player, 21 plus points per game last season. Now there's no Tyler Alier. And then my 101 and my RB1 is Jir Gibbs.
52:49Awesome player. There is no longer any David Montgomery. They want to ride him as the true Bellcow on what's been a
52:55blue chip Detroit Lions offense ever since Jared Goff has been there. Jamir Gibbs, my RB1 overall. Now again, if you want full access to these rankings, you
53:05can upload straight into Underdog. I have my top 200 rankings across the board, all there over on the Patreon, patreon.com.
