Adonai Mitchell

NegativeInjury9:06

Adonai Mitchell is one of the few healthy wide receivers for the Jets, but his status is uncertain due to a finger injury sustained recently.

Insight page

Amon-Ra St. Brown

PositiveProjection7:10

While the Jets have been effective against wide receivers, the source expects Amon-Ra St. Brown to overcome the matchup and produce, noting that he is likely to hit his receiving yardage targets.

Insight page

Brock Purdy

PositiveProjection0:10

The source recommends taking the 'higher' on Brock Purdy's 237.5 passing yards projection. Purdy is playing at a high level with an 80.4% completion rate this season. Even if the 49ers face limited passing volume, the source believes Purdy has a strong chance to hit the over, especially if Arizona's defense forces San Francisco to throw by limiting the run game.

Insight page

George Kittle

PositiveProjection0:08

The source recommends taking the 'higher' on George Kittle's 44.5 receiving yards projection. Arizona is a favorable matchup for tight ends, allowing a high catch rate, while simultaneously being difficult for wide receivers to target. Kittle is expected to see increased involvement and snap counts as he ramps up, and his ability to generate big plays means he does not require heavy volume to exceed this total.

Insight page

Jameson Williams

NegativeUsage7:22

The source notes that Jameson Williams' usage disappeared in week two after a promising week one, and the matchup against the Jets does not set up well for him to see significant production.

Insight page

Javonte Williams

PositiveUsage11:53

The source expects Javonte Williams to exceed 15.5 rushing attempts, arguing that his low volume in previous weeks was due to uncharacteristic game scripts and low total play counts for Dallas. The source emphasizes that Williams is the clear lead back and will benefit from a higher-paced game against the Ravens.

Insight page

Jeremiyah Love

PositiveProjection0:14

The source recommends taking the 'higher' on Jeremiah Love's 14.5 receiving yards projection. While the source notes Love is still awaiting a true breakout game with high snap share, the game script against San Francisco—where Arizona is expected to trail—should lead to increased dump-offs and passing game usage for the running back position in the second half.

Insight page

Jerome Ford

PositiveProjection12:33

The source projects Jerome Ford to serve as the clear lead back on early downs, with an expectation of 17 rushing attempts and 70 to 80 rushing yards in a favorable home matchup. The source highlights a rushing yardage prop of 58.5 as a target, noting that even the struggling Falcons managed 159 rushing yards against this opponent last week.

Insight page

Nico Collins

NegativeInjury15:08

Nico Collins is considered very unlikely to play in the upcoming game, which creates a significant opportunity for Kahan Booty to step into the WR1 role for the Texans.

Insight page

Parker Washington

NegativeUsage17:36

Parker Washington is expected to see significant usage in the slot to avoid Christian Gonzalez, making him a favorable option to be open frequently in the Jaguars' passing attack.

Insight page

Quinshon Judkins

PositiveProjection18:48

Quinshan Judkins is projected to go higher than 58.5 rushing yards against the Panthers, who have been gashed on the ground all season. Given the favorable game script and the Browns' need to establish the run, Judkins is in a prime spot to see 17+ carries and potentially 70-80 rushing yards.

Insight page

Sam LaPorta

PositiveProjection7:00

The source projects Sam LaPorta to be heavily involved in the game plan against the Jets, noting that the Jets' defense has been funneling production to the tight end position. The source views the 44.5 receiving yard line as a reasonable projection.

0:00What's going on guys? It's Nick here
0:01back with another video. It's Friday, so
0:03it's time to go over my favorite
0:03underdog plays for week three. First up,
0:05we've got this Cardinals at 49ers game.
0:08I'm liking George KD higher than 44 and
0:10a half receiving yards. Brock Pury
0:12higher than 237 and a half passing
0:14yards. And then Jeremiah Love higher
0:16than 14 12 receiving yards. If we look
0:20on the 49ers side, Arizona number two
0:23matchup for tight ends. any um matchup I
0:26reference in this video in the rankings
0:29video. Remember it does date back to
0:32last season. So, we have to be a little
0:33bit careful with that. Um but you can't
0:37also just use like this year's sample
0:38because it's a twoame sample. So, it's
0:40heavily weighted towards this season,
0:42but use a little bit of lastings data as
0:44well. So, regardless, Arizona is a much
0:46better matchup for tight ends. They
0:48allow a very high catch rate against
0:49them. Uh they are a much more difficult
0:52matchup to wide receiver. No team limits
0:54wide receiver targets more than Arizona.
0:56Um just a semi-tight end funnel if you
1:00will. Um very good catch rate again for
1:03uh tight ends. And KD's basically
1:05ramping up right every single week. We
1:07should expect him to be more and more
1:08confident, more and more part of the
1:10game plan. That doesn't mean he goes
1:11from four to five to six to seven
1:13targets every week, right? He doesn't
1:14just necessarily gain a target every
1:16single game, but he should be out there
1:18for more snaps. He should be more
1:19involved in the game plan. we should
1:21trust him a little bit more every single
1:23week. So 44 and a half, it's a very
1:24reasonable projection for George KD.
1:26He's a big play player. You know, he's
1:28someone that can go out there and have a
1:3030, a 40, a 50 yard reception, and so he
1:33doesn't need to have heavy volume to pay
1:35off, but if he does see heavy volume,
1:36obviously is going to pay off this one.
1:38And Brock Per is just playing at a
1:40really high level. So I like pairing
1:41Perty uh with him. Um Arizona, like I
1:45said, the matchup data includes part of
1:46last season. They are a better defense
1:48this year than they were last year. Um,
1:50and I do think they can at least be okay
1:52at limiting San Fran on the ground and
1:54maybe forcing them to throw the ball a
1:56little bit more often. If they are a
1:58little bit more stingy to outside wide
1:59receivers, then you've got George KD
2:01operating in the middle of the area of
2:02the field and he's just going to have a
2:03field day over there. Uh, but just
2:05overall pretty just playing at a very
2:07high level. He has like a 80.4%
2:10uh, completion rate this year which is
2:12crazy. Obviously, he has a matchup with
2:13the Dolphins kind of factoring into
2:15that, but in week one, he was also
2:17fantastic against the Rams. I think he
2:19looked a lot better than people thought
2:20that he would. Um, I think even if
2:23there's limited passing volume here,
2:25he's got a pretty good shot of hitting
2:26238 passing yards. Uh, and then when you
2:29have that bring back on the other side,
2:31San Franand not an easy team, like not a
2:34bad defense or anything, not an easy
2:35team to run on, but they are the number
2:37four matchup for running back
2:39receptions.
2:40kind of makes sense. A lot of times
2:43these strong defenses, but teams that
2:46have really good offense on the other
2:47side, will they allow a lot of
2:49receptions to running backs because
2:50teams fall behind? You see relaxed
2:53coverage and you see more dump offs in
2:54the second half to running backs. Um, I
2:57think with Jeremiah Love, you know, he's
2:58going to have his breakout day soon. I
3:00don't know that I necessarily predict it
3:01to be this weekend, but there's going to
3:03be a game at some point where he has
3:05like a 70% snap share, 15 rush attempts,
3:08six receptions, and we're like, man,
3:10this kid is good. He's a featured player
3:13on this offense. I don't know that that
3:15necessarily happens this week, but 14
3:19receiving yards in a game where they're
3:20probably going to fall behind, where
3:22targets do funnel to the running back
3:24position, I think we could see more
3:26passing game usage. could have happened
3:28last week honestly, but they got blown
3:30out by the Seahawks. His last touch last
3:32week came halfway through the third
3:34quarter. I do think Arizona loses, but I
3:37don't think they lose by as many points
3:38as they lost by last week. And so, as
3:41long as this game is within like two
3:43touchdowns and he's out there in the
3:44fourth quarter, I got a good shot of
3:46going higher. So, again, Love higher
3:48than 14 and a half receiving yards.
3:50Perie higher than 237 and a half passing
3:52yards and KD 44 and a half receiving
3:54yards. Next game, we've got the Jets at
3:58the Lions. So, a dome game here and the
4:00complete I don't say complete opposite
4:01from last season, but a reversal from
4:04what you would expect going into the
4:06season. Honestly, Jets were horrible on
4:08defense last season. Like, every single
4:11time you went out there, you were like,
4:12"Target players against the Jets." I
4:14don't think they had an interception all
4:15season. It was just a field day for
4:17everyone against them. Not this year.
4:20They're actually a much better defense
4:22this season. Uh, but I think they're
4:25going to need pretty or they're gonna
4:26need a perturie. They're gonna need
4:27Leaporta a decent amount in this game.
4:30Um, only one wide receiver has hit 42
4:33receiving yards against them. I mean,
4:36Aman Raw is probably going to make it
4:37too here, but they've been very good
4:39against wide receivers. Um, talking
4:42about the Jets obviously, uh, J Mo,
4:44Tesla,
4:45you know, we had the excitement for JO
4:47in week one and that usage, but that
4:49completely went away in week two. Tesla
4:51hasn't gotten any usage at all. Also, it
4:52doesn't set up very well for either one
4:54of them. It sets up like a spot where
4:57they're limiting the wide receiver
4:58production.
5:00Lions are still going to score plenty of
5:01points, move the ball plenty. So, 44 and
5:04a half receiving yards as well for Sam
5:06Laaporta. It's just a very reasonable
5:09projection by underdog. Um, and again, I
5:12think people will view this as, oh, they
5:14can run all over the Jets. Amanra goes
5:17off and maybe that occurs, but the Jets
5:19have been much better on defense, but
5:20they are funneling a little bit to the
5:21tight end position. And then Garrett
5:23Wilson, um, higher than 66 and a half
5:25receiving yards. What I said the
5:27reversal is the Lions have been
5:29terrible. So, we didn't think going to
5:30the season the Lions defense would be
5:32like amazing, but it's been absolutely
5:35pathetic. Uh, they rank last against
5:37wide receivers. Only the Colts have
5:39allowed more passing yards per game than
5:42the Lions have so far. The Jets will be
5:44without Omar Cooper. Their only three
5:46healthy wide receivers are Garrett
5:48Wilson, Adnai Mitchell, and Isa um
5:51Isaiah Williams. But Adnai might be
5:53injured. I mean, he picked up a finger
5:55injury. We still don't know the status
5:56of that. It could be nothing. It could
5:58be something. Keep an eye on it. But the
6:00fact of the matter is they don't have
6:02that much talent at wide receiver now.
6:04At least that much depth at wide
6:05receiver. uh Mason Taylor, you know,
6:07their kind of second string kind of
6:09rotating as their top uh tight end. He's
6:11doubtful this week. And so it's like
6:13they're gonna need these guys to step
6:15up. You're going up against the Lions
6:16even with your defense playing a lot
6:18better. The Jets are going to have to
6:19move the ball on offense and if we're
6:21really going to start consolidating
6:22that, Garrett Wilson's a superstar wide
6:24receiver. He hasn't like had that
6:26breakout game yet. I think it comes this
6:28week again. Dome game, other team is
6:31pushing you. Even if the Jets get up,
6:33the Jets know they can't just run the
6:35ball every play against the Lions. The
6:37Lions are going to come back. Look at
6:39the second half last week. If the Jets
6:41by some miracle got up as much as the
6:43Bills did, they know in the whole second
6:45half, uh, Detroit can go out there and
6:47score touchdown every single drive.
6:49Okay, that can happen. And so, uh, they
6:51know they're going to have to keep their
6:52foot on the gas. They're going to have
6:53to keep throwing the ball to Garrett
6:54Wilson. I like ladders with Garrett
6:56Wilson. Honestly, I'd go up. So again,
6:58it's 66 and a half receiving yards. Put
7:00on 70, 80, 90, 100 up. I'd go up to like
7:03120 and a touchdown. Like I would just
7:05ladder it up because I really think
7:07Garrett Wilson has his breakout day this
7:10weekend. Solo pick time. Uh start off
7:13with Jamonte Williams higher than 15 and
7:15a half rushing yards. I think he has
7:16exactly 12 in back-to-back weeks. But as
7:18I said in the rankings video and I think
7:20the trade video as well, only 53 plays
7:23per game for Dallas. Dallas every single
7:25season is like top five, top eight in
7:28plays per game. Um they're just they're
7:30going to run at least 10, maybe 12 more
7:33plays per game on average than they have
7:35to start the season. Um it was just two
7:37games that got out of hand, right? They
7:38got destroyed in week one and then they
7:40blew out the Commanders last week. And
7:42so kind of two not very close game
7:44scripts. I think this game should play
7:46out relatively close. Um Javant is
7:48featured. I mean, he's getting all the
7:50touches in Dallas. They don't trust
7:52Amari D. Marcado or Hunter Loopki on
7:55early downs. Like these guys are only
7:57going to mix in on passing situations,
7:59mix in if they're, you know, down or up
8:01big time in the fourth quarter. And
8:03again, I don't think that's going to
8:04happen this week. It's a very exciting
8:06game. Uh they're playing the um the
8:08Ravens, you know, 52 and a half point
8:11total. I think like should be a ton of
8:13plays here, a ton of total volume. And
8:15again, Javvantee is getting all of the
8:17rushing work. It's just been two games
8:19where not only has the game script led
8:21it to where it's like not competitive in
8:22the fourth quarter, but it's led to the
8:24fact that the Dallas only has 53 plays
8:26per game. They're probably going to run
8:2765 66 67 plays in this one. Uh he should
8:31be much more involved in the fourth
8:33quarter as well. So really like higher
8:34than 15 and a half uh rushing attempts.
8:36I don't know if I said rushing yards to
8:38start that, but rushing attempts
8:39obviously. Uh Kahan Booty up next,
8:42higher than 35 and a half receiving
8:44yards. Like I said, no team has allowed
8:48more passing yards than the Colts. So,
8:50you've got the Lions allowing a ton of
8:53passing yards, but the Colts, honestly,
8:54I think it's maybe 20 more. The Colts
8:56are averaging a ridiculous amount of
8:58passing yards against them. They have
9:01been awful on defense this season. Uh we
9:04saw Booty in week two jumped up to a 73%
9:06snap share. He could be over 80%. Again,
9:08Nico Collins is very, very unlikely to
9:11play this weekend. so he can be their
9:13top wide receiver against the team
9:15that's allowing the most passing yards
9:16per game in the NFL. He also had two
9:19tough matchups to start the year. I know
9:20everyone looks at the Bengals and
9:22they're like, "Isn't the Bengals a great
9:23matchup for wide receivers? Don't they
9:25have a bad defense?" No, they the last
9:26couple seasons they've been a very
9:28difficult matchup for wide receivers.
9:29They've been really good for tight ends,
9:31really good matchup for running backs at
9:32times, but they really limit production
9:34to wide receivers. And so that was a
9:36tough spot. um they played um the the
9:40the Bills in week one. Always difficult
9:42playing the Bills as a wide receiver.
9:44And so now you've got basically the best
9:45possible matchup and he's gonna be
9:47ramping up for his um snap share, his
9:50target share, things like that. And so
9:51uh I really just do think he's a
9:53talented wide receiver. It's not like a
9:54superstar or anything, but we're playing
9:56the Colts in a dome and you're the
9:57number one wide receiver for the Texans.
9:5835 and a half receiving yards I think is
10:00a bit too low. Definitely going higher
10:02on that one. Also one I'd be comfortable
10:04lading. Uh a lower finally in this one.
10:07Uh Bashalt Tutin lower than 53 and a
10:09half rushing yards. Um Patriots third
10:12worst matchup for running back rushing
10:15yards over expectation. Uh they had a
10:18huge stretch last season where they did
10:19not allow a 50-yard rusher. They've not
10:21allowed a 53 yard rusher so far through
10:24two weeks. Uh Tuton's only playing about
10:26half the snaps. He is even on those half
10:28the snaps getting more of the rushing
10:30volume. And so I don't want to throw
10:32away the chance that he has 12, 13, 14
10:34rush attempts and goes higher here, but
10:36I do think the Jaguars are going to lean
10:38a little bit more pass heavy this
10:40weekend. Again, it's just not a spot
10:41where you're going to win running the
10:43ball against New England. And obviously
10:45the Jaguars have a great passing attack
10:47with great wide receivers. They're
10:48probably just going to line up and have
10:50Brian Thomas Jr. always with Christian
10:52Gonzalez. Gonzalez doesn't necessarily
10:54shadow. So, they're going to be able to
10:56put Parker Washington in the slot
10:57plenty, move him around the formation to
10:59get him away from Christian Gonzalez.
11:01So, I don't expect a very good day from
11:03uh Brian Thomas Jr., but Parker
11:05Washington should be open plenty. They
11:07should be able to throw the ball and
11:08have decent success. There's no reason
11:11to try and establish the run if it's
11:13probably not going to work for
11:14Jacksonville. And then there's always
11:15that chance that Chris Rodriguez mixes
11:18in for seven, eight, nine rush attempts.
11:20And at that point, if you're splitting
11:21the early down work in a matchup that
11:23really does not tilt towards the running
11:25backs, it's not a great day for
11:27Baltinon. Then finally, Quinshan
11:29Judkins. Uh if there was ever a spot,
11:31it's this one, right? Uh higher than 58
11:34and a half rushing yards. That's a
11:35relatively high projection, but it's
11:37only a two and a half point spread. Like
11:39this is a game that the uh Browns could
11:41easily win. Um no team has allowed more
11:45rushing yards than the Panthers. I think
11:47we all remember the uh nearly 300
11:50rushing yards they gave up to the Bears
11:53in week one. 291
11:55rushing yards against. But even the
11:58Falcons last week who scored three
12:00points and did nothing on offense led by
12:03Cooper Rush. It was super easy to shut
12:05them down. They still ran for 159 yards
12:09against them. So this Panthers defense
12:11is just getting gashed on the ground.
12:14You have to think if you are the Browns
12:16coaching staff and you're like, "Okay,
12:18if we ever want to successfully run the
12:20football, we've got to figure it out
12:22this week." If you go in there and
12:24Judkins has 40 rushing yards on like 15
12:27rush attempts, you have to be feeling
12:29terrible moving forward because you're
12:31like, "Man, we're never going to be able
12:33to run the ball. This is the only spot.
12:35It's a close spread. It's a winnable
12:38game. You're at home." Like all of the
12:41factors indicate Judkins should get 17
12:44rush attempts, should have 70 or 80
12:48rushing yards. And if you can't do that
12:50as the Browns, things are looking very,
12:52very bad for you long term on the
12:55ground. Again, the Falcons couldn't do
12:58anything last week and they scored three
13:01total points. They still had 159 rushing
13:04yards against them. We're asking for 58
13:07and a half for Judkins, who's going to
13:09be the very clear lead on early down.
13:12So, it looks like a relatively high
13:14projection, but this is the spot where
13:15if it was ever going to happen, it
13:17should happen this week. All right,
13:20those are my favorite picks right now. I
13:22updated the page a little bit. I'm going
13:24to kind of keep working on it as well,
13:25but you can see basically the top 25
13:27picks based on my projections now on the
13:30website the fantasyfootadvice.com.
13:33projections are going to be updated
