0:00What's going on guys? It's Nick here back with another video. Uh today's mockdraft Monday. We're going to do 12 team half PPR three wide receiver. Got a
0:07request to do a few three wide receiver drafts and we'll do it from the 112 which is not an easy spot to pick in
0:12three wide receiver. In a non three wide receiver league typically I think you're going wide receiver or running back running back. In three wide receiver you
0:20kind of want to add in that wide receiver but at times you're kind of not able to. So we'll see how this one kind
0:25of plays out. Uh again, we'll bump up wide receiver to three in this one.
0:30Quarterback tendency. Honestly, you got to play around with this depending on or your league. Some three wide receiver leagues go really really heavy into wide
0:38receiver and you want to leave it standard like this. Everything normal.
0:41Some of them uh don't and they kind of back off and you want to be bumping up running back a little bit more because
0:48they'll still draft running backs early on. I'm gonna keep or put running back on to high and we'll see how this one in
0:55particular plays out. Uh but you know, it's still going to be kind of random how the computers decide to draft in
1:00this particular one. So, we will start in this one and I think that played out pretty normal. Okay, so we're at 12. So,
1:10a lot of people are gone. Gibbs, Bjan, McCaffrey, JT. I do think that'll happen every single time no matter your format.
1:16Uh and then Ashen Genty off the board as well. and then Puka, Jamar Chase, JSN, Amanra, Jefferson, and Lamb Gone. So,
1:23this is actually why uh 12 can be difficult is because well, that's basically the top 11 players in in formats. You could argue James Cook
1:32versus Ashen Genty, but we kind of don't have the option for wide receiver. So, if this happens in your league, your
1:37three wide receiver, I don't think you force the next range because we've basically exited this is top kind of tier or two depending on how you how
1:44many tiers you want to make. um AJ Brown, Drake London, Nico Collins, that really does represent in all formats definitely more mid to late first round
1:52picks. You really don't want to be taking those guys at, you know, at the one two turn. So even in a league that
1:58has three wide receivers. I personally, if faced with this decision, would just double dip running back. Running back is still an important position. Uh it's
2:06still something that's going to fall off late. And while wide receiver elevates in value, it doesn't elevate enough to where I want to be taking these guys
2:13that early. We can figure that out in kind of the middle round. So, personally, I would go James Cook and then I would go Saquon Barkley. So, um,
2:22dynamic is going to adjust and no, it's wide receiver. It does say if you take running back first, it's it's a little
2:27bit better off doing wide receiver. And that does bump AJ Brown up. But I think from a strategy perspective, um I would
2:33still just go uh James Cook, Saquon Barkley, and then attack wide receiver after that. So we'll pull up the draft
2:41board here after we go. Uh relatively even mixture of things you would expect.
2:47Uh Bowowers is gone, McBride's gone, it uh Josh Allen is gone. Those are the other skilled players or other players.
2:54uh not running back and receiver that we would have considered at this spot. Um decent amount of wide receivers, London, Brown, Nico Pickings, Rice, Stanta, um
3:03Leak Neighbors, Olve, T Higgins, Z Flowers, Tet, and Ibuka. We just missed Igbuka in this one. And then all the top
3:10running backs gone. Chase Brown, Hampton, Ken Walker, Achan, Henry, Jeremiah Love, and Bree Hall. So, not an amazing spot for us here. If we look at
3:20uh dynamic, it's saying do not drop the quarterback. running back is now negative. Three running back starts in a three wide receiver league. Not optimal.
3:28Uh tight end is basically even, but um I don't know that we'll go to tight end here. And then wide receiver plus 13%.
3:35So theoretically we could take Coulson Lovelin, but I have a pretty good projection on Coulson Lovelin. And just because um wide receiver is so
3:42important, he's not really bumping up into these top players. Um I think you basically double tip at wide receiver.
3:48We would definitely take Latt. So we don't even really discuss that one. Lad would be one of these picks here regardless. Um, after we take him
3:56because you guys know I'm basically all in on the Chargers this season. I think they're going to be significantly better than last year. I think they have so
4:04much upside. Like Herbert could win the MVP this season. And Lad sets up to just absolutely smash this year. Um, so we
4:11take him. Then dynamic changes. So it says, "Okay, it's a little bit better off now. You still want wide receiver, but running back is okay to draft next."
4:18So we'll see. Um, you've got Javvante.
4:20We've got Kairen, uh, Scataboo, ETN, Jacobs. All totally fine picks to make here at the 401. Um, none of them stand
4:28out as like must draft to me as our third. If we only had one running back, I think I would probably go to this
4:35range, but having given that we double dip to James Cook, Saquon Barkley, we're three wide receiver league. Do we really want to only have one wide receiver when
4:42we enter like the 512?
4:45Not really. We're adding a lot of risk there that like our wide receiver room is very, very weak. So, like I said, I
4:50probably would just lean towards drafting that second wide receiver. I would have loved to get Igbuka and Lad here. I think that's a much stronger
4:58start than probably what we'll end up with here in Garrett Wilson. Uh, but Garrett Wilson is still a player that, you know, could have 150 targets this
5:06season. Um, he could just absolutely dominate that target share there. I know that, um, I've kind of talked negatively at times about him. Um that's because at
5:15times he goes in like the mid- third round of a two wide receiver league or a three wide receiver league. It's the you
5:20know beginning of the fourth round. A little bit better off there. Um the offense should be better than last year.
5:25Obviously he only played like seven games so he didn't really benefit to the offense that much. Um quarterback play probably second best of his career. He's
5:32he's not a bad pick. I just think he does lack a little bit of that ceiling.
5:37But in this range, I kind of have to just say, you know what, very talented player, probably set up for 150 to 160
5:43targets this season. Um, if he can connect with Gino Smith, like there is potential here. And I just you need that
5:49second wide receiver, I think, in this format, but would have loved over him.
5:54All right, pull up the draft board now. So, uh, don't need to list off every wide receiver, but a lot of wide receivers
6:02went. Um, all those running backs, you would imagine, all the ones that I listed off before off the board, also Swift, Judkins, and Trayvon. And then,
6:10uh, Lamar Jackson is gone at quarterback. This is also a somewhat tough spot, the 112 here, because of quarterback. So, I would love to get one
6:21of these mid-range uh, quarterbacks here, but I think in this format, it's not necessarily something you should be doing. Um, data definitely tells us
6:30don't be doing it this pick. We'll see what happens at our next selection. Um, I just think, you know, normally I'm
6:37attacking them in round six. Like I I want to try and get one of the top eight quarterbacks in round six. Uh, if I
6:42don't get that, usually Herbert can be there in round seven. That's kind of like the game plan. But in three wide
6:48receiver, you're just adding one more roster spot on your starting lineup. And this is the same thing like a two flex
6:52league. You're adding one more roster spot that is not quarterback. And so it just devalues the position a little bit more. Plus, it's the first pick in round
6:59six. Both those factors it's like and actually last pick in round five and first pick in round six. Both those factors I probably just wouldn't and I
7:05would hope that one of them craters or we get Herbert at the 712. If we don't get either one of them, we probably just
7:12wait a long time and double dip at quarterback. That's kind of how I would play things. Uh so we're not going to go
7:18quarterback. Uh Tyler Warren would definitely be fine to draft here. Um we'll see. We can queue up Warren, but I don't know that we'll end up going
7:27there. Um definitely Toutin is a great pick. Honestly, easily the highest upside. Um not counting like sure Bucky has upside if like both running backs
7:37get injured, but like you know in a base case to has the most upside of all the running backs left on the board. He's a
7:43very very good pick at this spot. Um positive coach speak so far, but we're still so early in camp there. Wouldn't
7:49put too much behind that. Um but great pick this season upside on the ground touchdowns. like he can hit in all three
7:55areas on an amazing team and I think he's more talented than like people see in the box were from what he had in his
8:01rookie season. So I think regardless you go you go to him. So we'll just take him and look at our next pick. Um after we
8:07take him wide receiver is the only spot that is excuse me only spot that's positive right now. Um it's not crazy
8:13negative. It's basically even for tight end. It's not that negative for quarterback um for round six. But running back in round seven, it does not
8:19want you to take your fourth at that point. That is your bench. um you just you just don't want to be doing that.
8:24So, we definitely should just take our our third wide receiver here. Start off three running back, three receiver, probably hit more wide receivers moving
8:32forward. Um and I would say it's Carnell Tate. Um you could argue Parker Washington, but also the correlation there with Washington and Tuton would probably make
8:43you lean away from it. Um I wouldn't be mad if someone wanted Jordan Tyson. Uh, I just think Carnell Tate, while the
8:49offensive line is terrible, while Cam Ward also was horrible as a rookie, there is a chance that Cam Ward takes that next step, I think he is still a
8:59talented player. Um, and you just know with the 100% certainty Colonel Tate's going to go out there and dominate the target share. like Wando is going to get
9:06his targets, but like Carl Tate has huge target upside even if you don't think he's as good of a prospect as maybe his
9:14like uh draft uh ranking was, you know, being taken top five or maybe it was fourth overall. Um or maybe you just
9:21don't even think he's a top wide receiver talent. It's a great situation to land into from a total targets perspective and the certainty we have
9:30there. You know, gives him some upside here and that if he does turn out to be a very very good player, well, we know
9:37the targets are there. If he turns out to be not that good of a player, well, at least we know the targets are there
9:41and at least like volume is king of fantasy and even if he's not that good, he'll be force-fed targets and that's
9:46still positive. So, I would just go with Cardinal Tate here, but I'd be totally fine taking those other two. Again, I
9:51wouldn't go um with uh Parker Washington having taken Bashalt Tutin, but if you wanted him uh if you didn't have Tutin,
9:59that'd be fine. All right, so we've finished our uh basically starters for running back and receiver. We have James Cook, Saquon Barkley at running back
10:09one, running back two. We're going to have Lad, Garrett Wilson, Carninal Tate in our wide receiver response, and then Bashalt Tutin in the flex. We still want
10:17those possessions because there's a ton of by-weeks, a ton of injuries, uh, potential, um, a ton of potential that we just drafted someone who's not that
10:25good. Maybe Tate stinks and he doesn't get any sort of target share and we can't start him. So, we're going to need
10:29the bench a lot. Like, the next skill player we draft is probably going to make a ton of starts for us. So, you
10:35don't necessarily just jump to your bench players. Uh, but unfortunately, the computer did what what we wanted to do. They go into round six and they take
10:42May, Burrow, Daniels, Herz, Caleb, uh, Herbert, Tre Lawrence also goes, Dart goes, uh, Dak goes. If that happens, you wait. You wait forever. I really don't
10:52care how you feel about this range of quarterback. It is not worth it. The difference between Bonix, Perie, Goff, and you're like Kyler, Stafford, um,
11:01Malik, Shak Young. Um, I say Young Love. Um, definitely Bryce Young would be a drop off there. the difference is not that great and you
11:11should just draft two. Uh or if you feel good enough about streaming um because maybe if your first one's like Malik
11:17Willis, you only want to draft one, see how he does in week one, if not stream rest of the season, that's way more
11:22beneficial strategy-wise, like value-wise in the draft than going quarterback at any point here. So definitely wait on that front. Um pards
11:30of value, uh that would go down to how you feel about the Titans. If you are not, you know, confident in the Titans
11:35offense this season, do not draft Carnell Tate and Tony Pard. Um, I would say you're probably locking in a huge opportunity share there.
11:44And technically, Pard is not even a starter for you. So, I don't hate that.
11:48Um, value-wise, it does want us to lean wide receiver. And I guarantee if we took Pony Pard, our next pick is
11:53screaming wide receiver. So, we'll definitely go with a split there if we do that. If we look at the available running backs here, it honestly pard is
12:01the beginning of a drop off here. I mean, whether you look at ADP, live ADP, you look at the rankings here, my rank
12:06has him at 60. The next one's 84, right?
12:08And we're at pick 84 right now. So, Tony Pard is a screaming value no matter who we've taken. Uh, I think you kind of
12:15have to just lock them up because after that, I mean, I don't mind uh Brooks, I don't mind Gainwell, uh, JK Dobbins, um,
12:23Mason, Katon Mitchell. Like, you know, the names will be attacking, but no guarantee we land them. Uh, and really, if we took Tony Pard, we only need like
12:31one of those guys. we could just not draft running back later on. And I think that's beneficial in a format like this
12:36because if we could draft like Pard and then like one of those guys and then have um three or four bench spots at
12:44wide receiver. Uh we can attack that later on, attack some upside there. Uh and maybe give ourselves a little bit more certainty at the position and
12:51saying, you know, if one of Lad Garrett Wilson, Carl Tate doesn't work out, I've got three or four shots at wide receiver
12:57to just hit on one of these guys. Um, plus we're going to draft one here. So, uh, that's what I would do. Uh, but, uh,
13:06you can do what you want in your draft.
13:08We'll see how that works out in this one. Uh, same thing at, uh, tight end.
13:12As for quarterback, um, I think Craft and Leaporta and KD, I think they're all good picks. I just don't think this
13:21early it's necessary. I think all of them have that potential, but like I also think that, you know, Dallas Goddard has significant potential this
13:29season. Um I think that Isaiah likely has some upside this season. I think Gadston has some upside. Chick theoretically, I don't love it, but he
13:36theoretically has some upside this season if you want to double dip on like a Ferguson or dual sitch. Like I think
13:42there's other options that have that ceiling that don't cost you a seventh or an early eighth round pick. Uh but if I
13:49was going to do it for anyone, it probably would be Leaporta. Um, someone tweeted out recently uh how like basically all of the recent um top tight
13:58ends have just led in in routes. Like that's literally like if you just look at the number one scoring tight end,
14:04they're just the number one tight end in routes. And that's basically just what it is is some tight ends um aren't
14:10trusted in the receiving game and so not only they're not efficient, but they just don't get the routes. Uh but then
14:14also like some guys are only blocking, some guys are on terrible offenses that don't have a lot of routes run. when you
14:19can just identify, you know, a solid tight end who just is out there for a ton of plays, the volume will eventually
14:25flow to them and they score in fantasy and it's not I don't say it's not difficult to be the number one tight end
14:29in fantasy, but like it's not that difficult to end up in the top five in fantasy if you're running a ton of
14:32routes because it's such a weak position. If we look at someone like Craft, I don't like it's not a super high volume offense and he's coming off
14:42the injury, so you question if he could finish number one overall. George KD, it's similar. I mean, I love KD, but
14:49he's also coming off the injury. It's also an offense. He's not going to run a ton of routes. Um, I think he's a great
14:53value, but more so, I would say, an underdog or as part of like a KD godder kind of thing in reddraft. But you look
14:58at Leaporta and you're like, okay, this is one of the best offenses in the league. They play in a dome. They've got
15:01an easy schedule and he's going to run a ton of routes and he's super talented.
15:06So, it's like also technically coming off injury as all these tight ends. Um, but you can at least kind of tell a
15:12story with Leaporta and be like, wait, there like is actually a path here. So maybe I'd break the mold with Laora, but
15:17I think for our purposes right now, I would just draft um Tony Pard and then I would draft Quentyn Johnston. Uh warming
15:25up a little bit to Mai Lemon. Maybe going to move him up the rankings soon as well. I have not yet. So I will draft
15:31the guy I actually have in the rankings here. Uh but I don't know. I I kind of just don't want to get scared off of Mai
15:40uh in the sense that like he he was like my favorite in like the pre-draft process. So when I was looking
15:46at all the rookies, he was my favorite guy. I think from a long-term perspective, if you ask me who has the
15:52best chance to just be a really good wide receiver for a long time, I think Mai has a better chance than Tate and
15:58Tyson. I just think obviously the landing spot on those two is so much better. Like Tate's just locked into a huge target share. Tyson gets the dome,
16:06the pace up offense. Um he gets uh the coordinator. He gets um just just an opportunity behind Olave and that like
16:18there's no number three out there every single play. You look at Mia and it's like yeah, he's clearly the number two
16:23receiver from a talent perspective, but it's like there's talk that we don't know if he's going to play on the outside. It's a very low volume offense.
16:30Quarterback play is not like amazing in the passing department. And it's just like the landing spot's just kind of gross. Like they could just not throw
16:36the ball very many times on that team.
16:39But um I almost don't want the talk about him not playing two series sets to scare us off from the fact he's such a
16:44good prospect. Is he really not going to play two series sets over Wixs? Like are we really scared of that happening? And
16:51if he goes out there every single play and he's as good as we think there's not a good chance but a theoretical chance
16:58by the end of the season he's their top wide receiver in fantasy. Like I don't think it happens, but I loved him as a
17:05prospect. And so I don't know. I just feel myself looking at it and being like, would they really draft him in the
17:11first round? This talented of a player and play Wix over him and two wide receiver sets. I I don't know. I just I
17:17just don't kind of see it happening now.
17:19So I like him a lot. I'm probably going to end up moving him up. Uh yeah, we'll take Quinton there. Honestly, probably
17:24shouldn't have taken Quinton because I just realized we have lad as well. So if I go back, I probably would take mine
17:28lemon at that spot. Um don't want to overload rookies. So, you would have Mai, you'd have Tate, you'd want to kind
17:32of start pumping the brakes a little bit because rookies in the second half of the season are almost always better than
17:37the first half, unless it's like Bua, basically. Uh, but yeah, that's kind of just a thought process that I'm having for those guys there. Uh, looking at
17:44quarterback, we're still fine. I'll pull up the draft board here so you guys can see everything. Uh, no one drafts a
17:49quarterback because no one would uh in your draft. They'll start doing that maybe like 10, 11, people get a little antsy, but people start doing that in
17:56like 12 on, so there's no real reason to be taking them. Um, decent amount of tight ends come off the board. All the
18:02guys we had talked about are gone. So, we're not going to go with tight end.
18:06Uh, so we might just double dip again.
18:08What running backs went? So, all running backs are pretty good off the board. Um, Mongai, Dael, Dobbins, Gainwell, and Brooks. Um, so at running back,
18:19no, I might just double dip the receiver. I mean, it's Cororm, it's Mason, it's Katon, and then it's a really big drop off. I think I would
18:25just cross my fingers. Um, hope to Katon is there at what would that be the 1112 and take Katon in that spot. Again, my
18:31goal is to take Katon in every single draft this season. I would probably just double dip at receiver and say, you know
18:37what, Meyers is a great wide receiver that has absolutely no ceiling, but in a three wide receiver league, uh, could he
18:44rotate into my flex spot, my third wide receiver spot, if I just need someone solid? Yes. So, we can take him and then
18:49we can go in and take uh, I would say Romeo Dobs. Um, I'm having a hard time figuring out exactly how to rank Romeo
18:56Dobs because uh, Booty is still on the team. Like I I I have to think that something happens there like and Booty's
19:05having a good opening to camp. Like Booty is a good wide receiver. I actually think teams should trade for Kahan Booty. Um,
19:12but like is Booty going to impact the playing time for Romeo Dobs? I don't know. I think Dobs a great quality wide
19:19receiver. I think that like three wide receiver sets are actually gonna be really good for the Patriots this season. I think they can take a huge
19:25step forward as an offense. Obviously, the cupcake schedule goes away, but I don't know. I think I think Booty is a
19:30great wide receiver. It's just like or um well, I think both are great wide receivers. Has for Dobs. It worries me a
19:36little bit that Booty is still there, but we'll see. Um all right, second quarterbacks start going uh Perie, Nick, Scoff, and Mahomes off the board. Uh
19:44some tight ends godd mixture of running back and receiver. It looks like yes. So it looks like uh we do have Katon Mitchell. So Katon and
19:54then there's a pretty big drop off. I really don't want any of those running backs. Uh so you could take Katon as
20:00that last running back. You could honestly enter with four. I think it would actually be fine in a league like this to say I'm just going to have uh
20:07four running backs. The flex spot doesn't need to be a running back. So I have two bench options if I don't want
20:11to start Tutin and Pard. Um, I'd have two bench options that could back up James Cook and Saquon Barkley who like
20:17would need an injury to not be starting for me. Um, I think the upside of Katon makes it so I do want him on the bench.
20:24Um, but because there's always running back just gets injured at a pretty high rate and everything. So, I would probably do that and I would probably
20:30start looking at, you know, quarterback and head. We don't need to wait until like the last round here. Um, so Ferguson's a good value right now.
20:37Again, like I said, likely um I probably wouldn't go Gadston because we already have we already have Lad and Quinton Johnson and we might have Katon Mitchell
20:46as well. We don't need to draft every single Charger. Uh but Ferguson pretty clearly is the top guy there. Uh but
20:52Ferguson or likely would be your two options. Um Kyler, some quotes recently about them not knowing who the quarterback is. If it's
21:00not Kyler, I mean, I don't know what they're doing as as a team. Like it's it's going to be Kyler this season. I
21:03just think that's more like you don't want to say in like day one of camp that it's a certain guy. you want it to be at
21:08least a little bit of a battle. Um, but honestly, man, what I would probably do if this was my like big money league, I would probably
21:17just say, "Give me Kyler and Stafford."
21:19Like, I would just take both of them. I know Stafford's going to be good. I can start Stafford to start the season and
21:25then I can say, "What happens in Minnesota? Does Kyler look good? Does the offense look good?" In which case, I can trade one of them. I can stream
21:32them. I have options. But if I take Kyler, I want another quarterback. And Stafford pretty clearly is a very stable option for me. So I can easily start him
21:42to start the year then go to Kyler. That does mean that we will miss out probably on Keen Mitchell. Maybe no one will take
21:47him, but it probably means we miss out there. Uh but I think that's fine. I think it's also fine leaving uh
21:52Ferguson. I'm wondering also if um uh Fenoi if his ascension this off season clearly gonna be a bigger part of the game plan here, does that lead to
22:03just a lower target share for Ferguson?
22:05I don't know. Um I like Ferguson, but that has me worried enough to where I'd say let's just do the uh Kyler and
22:17uh Stafford. Let's just do that and just take the safe option in Stafford and the upside option and Kyler. All right.
22:27Katon does go and so I would not draft another running back. I wouldn't like force Woody Marks or like a handcuff
22:33here. here. I mean, if actually if you wanted to draft um Ray Davis, that would be fine. Handcuff James James Cook, that
22:39would be okay to do. Um Oh, Flo Fension.
22:42So, this is actually what I wanted to talk about in this video. Uh is in three wide receiver leagues especially, and
22:47this only has six bench spots, I think.
22:49Um you know, some of you have like seven, eight bench spots. you will be wanting to have some names in your back
22:55pocket later on in the draft um that you can go to always that you can say, you know, this guy's always going to be
23:02available for me in the late rounds of the draft that actually have upside.
23:06What you want to be doing at wide receiver later on is to say, I don't want someone who I think could break out
23:12in the second half of the season. I want someone where I I watch in week one and I just know maybe they don't go off, but
23:19I watch in week one and I say, "Okay, they have a role. They're going to be involved. We can keep them on the roster
23:26for the next few weeks and see if that role expands. See if they can command the target share, but we'll know."
23:33Fenoy, I think, fits it beautifully, right? He's on a great offense. He's on high volume offense. He's on an offense with a great quarterback. Uh he proved
23:41to be a really talented player last season. who's a prospect that had some positives to a pro his profile. Um, and
23:47it seems like they could roll out there in week one with a ton of 11 personnel.
23:52He's in the slot all the time, moving sometimes to the F, but like he's, you know, going to be in the slot a lot and
23:57just going to have a really solid role in this offense. And that is valuable in a three wide receiver league to have
24:02that later on with huge contingent upside if you have an injury to Lamb or Pickings. That's what you want. Um, so I
24:10would take him. Uh other names, Tesla to a degree. I think a lot of the same thing fits. Good quarterback play, plays
24:18in the dome, uh great offense, um prospect that the team was in love with.
24:23They gave up a ton to move up ahead.
24:25Like people did not think he was going to be drafted even nearly where they drafted him. So that draft capital they
24:30used on him was crazy high. Um proved to be pretty good last season. Uh you can kind of only give JO so much
24:37workload. Why I would question him a little bit more than Fenoi is well Leaporta could earn a higher target share than um
24:48I can't think think of his name Ferguson. Um Aman Ross St. Brown is going to absolutely dominate there. They also have Gibbs will be used more in the
24:55receiving game than Jamontto Williams.
24:57Uh it probably is also a better passing attack um the like higher volume passing attack in Dallas. Um, so I I don't know. Like
25:07there are reasons to say the total target share for Fenoi has a better chance of hitting than it does for Tesla, but I think both of them
25:14definitely should be in your back pocket this late. I think I like uh Zachariah Branch, but in a reddraft, like maybe
25:21like underdog in a reddraft league, much worse quarterback play, much lower volume passing offense, much less locked in of a prospect. Uh might only be a
25:30schemed usage player. Uh and just like behind like three alphas, you're the fourth guy, really no chance of pushing them. Much less upside there. Um Antonio
25:40Williams, you have to worry that they're going to add someone, but there's some upside with that pick. Stribbling.
25:46Honestly, don't hate because they took him so much earlier than people were expecting because so many like NFL experts really liked him. Thought he
25:54was, you know, easily going to go like very early in the draft whereas everyone else was very surprised that it was
25:59happening. I think there's upside there.
26:01I think there's upside in Adnai Mitchell. Um, you know, it looks like right now going to beat out Omar Cooper.
26:08It's so early in camp, we don't know.
26:09But if he beats out Omar Cooper for the wide receiver two job. Like if if he's a wide receiver too on a team that's going
26:14to be trailing a lot and throwing decent amount. There is upside there. Um he is a prospect that we liked and we trash on
26:20him for the inefficiency, but it was inefficiency with uh the most inefficient quarterback in the NFL, right? It was with Anthony Richardson
26:26throwing them the ball. So, uh there's definitely upside there. There's upside for Tank Dell. Um, and honestly, he fits the mold of this late um, wide receiver
26:35that you might look to and that if he goes out there in week one and has a 20% snap share and doesn't look good, you
26:41caught him. Like that's what I want. I guess that's the the moral here. We're targeting the good offense, the good quarterback. So again, that's Ad Knight
26:47doesn't really hit for those, but the dome teams, the good offense, the quarterback, but also we want to know early on. We'll know snapshot. We'll
26:55know Tesla. Do these guys ramp up from what we saw last season? We'll know at least for Tanked out, even if the
27:01quarterback play isn't as good, even if he's probably not going to do anything, we'll know early on. And those early weeks are so important for the waiver
27:07wire because great free agents are out there early on. So, we're going to need to be dropping some of these guys. We
27:12can't draft an entire team of players where we want to keep them because early on we're going to want those free
27:17agents. Uh, and so we'll know with Tangel. If he goes out there and plays 70% of snaps and looks good, you hit. If
27:24he goes out there and plays 20% of snaps and doesn't look good, you drop him and add someone else. It's riskier on
27:28underdog, but in a reddraft league, you have that uh potential there. So, definitely still a guy you could draft.
27:33Uh theoretically, Brandon Aayuk, if he figures himself out and a team actually wants him, uh he'd be a great pick in
27:38this spot. Booty, if he got traded again, commanders, what are you doing? I think the commander should be trading for him right now. Um
27:45after that, it gets thin. I mean, maybe Malachi Fields um if he wins the number two job because they love him over
27:54there. you know, that that would probably still be from Neighbors not being healthy, him actually breaking out. Um, yeah, real thin. Ted Hurst,
28:02theoretically, I think he's just a sacrificial X, though. Tory Horton, don't hate it, but in a reddraft league, it's probably more a name to keep in
28:09mind. Um, we were excited about him last season. He played pretty efficiently.
28:14It's just the injuries kind of caught up with him. Um, Keon Coleman, that's another name. That's a great one. Like, probably going to be bad. probably not
28:22going to do anything, but he's a first round wide receiver playing with um Josh Allen like and a new coaching staff.
28:30There is absolutely a chance that we watch these games happen in week one. He goes like five for 75 in a score and
28:36we're like, "Oh, he's an every town wide receiver still playing with Josh Allen and he was a super talented prospect."
28:43Again, we didn't love him as a prospect, but the talent like the physical traits were always there. He's just that scary
28:48guy that like, well, if you're not separating in college, you're not going to do it as a pro. Uh, and that kind of
28:53ended up happening. But doesn't mean you can't eventually do it at some point in your career. Does he take that step
28:58forward? We'll know in week one. If he looks like he still stinks, you cut him.
29:02Um, maybe Vle in like a very deep league.
29:06Um, oh, I wouldn't hate um, where is he? Not Douglas. Um, Bell. I don't actually see him in the rankings here. There he is, Chris Bell.
29:18I would not hate going with Chris Bell if you had an IR spot. You take him in the last round. You th because he's
29:25going to start to see like the pop eye or whatever. Um, draft him, put him on IR, hope that your team remains healthy.
29:32If they don't, it's okay. You can cut him, use that IR spot for someone else.
29:35But if your team gets lucky and stays healthy and he comes back, you know, week six, week eight, week 12, something
29:40like that. Uh, and you could still be rostering him, I mean, probably not going to hit, but theoretically he has a
29:46chance like that wide receiver room is terrible. If he recovers faster than expected from this injury, then he could go out there and he could be, you know,
29:54pretty solid for us in fantasy if he command a good target because I think he was the best wide receiver they drafted.
29:58I think he's easily the best wide receiver in the team. It's just it's probably a 2027 pick. Uh, but, you know,
30:02if you have that IR spot, why not? If you start the season with no one on IR, why not put him in there, hope your team
30:08stays healthy, and then maybe he does return earlier than expected. Um, other than that, it's not looking great. Um, yeah, those are probably all the names
30:19that I would actually consider. And if this was my league, I would take Fenoi in this one. But again, my favorite ones
30:24there would be Fenoi, Tesla, Stribbling, Tank Dell, um, and Keon Coleman. If you just went in in your back pocket saying, "I can
30:34draft one of those five and as the last wide receiver on my team, I'd be very comfortable with that. Good offenses,
30:41good quarterbacks. We'll see if the role is there. If it's not, you can cut him and it's totally fine." So, we'll take
30:48uh we do need to take a tight end here.
30:51Um, honestly, this late at tight end, I'd do the same thing. I would say like I don't want like I don't want Strange because I
30:59know the role will be there but then it won't be that good. It'll just be mediocre. I want someone where it's like
31:04all right honestly give me Gadston and just say does he get super targeted or do they rotate a lot? Um Hunter Henry
31:11wouldn't be bad especially if they don't honestly Hunter Henry might be the option if they don't bring in another tight end. I feel like they will but if
31:18they only roll with him and the rookie like you know he's going to have a lot of upside this season. So maybe go with
31:22Hunter Henry. Check a conquo. See if the role is there. Um but yeah, I don't have a [snorts] huge lean. I
31:32guess Gatsson, we don't want another Chargers player. So let's go with Hunter Henry and just see like do they just not
31:37should not add another tight end. Uh which case that's awesome. Um I thought I removed Kicker, but maybe I did not.
31:45Uh so we'll draft a kicker and a defense. Um, what's the early I forget the early season schedules. I really need to like
31:52remember early season schedule. Number eight's not bad for the Steelers.
31:58Um, and people all keep asking why I keep looking only early season schedule.
32:04Um, because you're going to stream. So, we'll just take the Steelers. You're going to end up streaming defense. Like, that's just the optimal thing to do. And
32:12so there's no reason to not just look at who has a good season schedule and go with that. All right, here is the squad.
32:21So starting lineup, we're we start week one with Matthew Stafford. So Matthew Stafford, James Cook, Saquon Barkley, Lad, Garrett Wilson, uh Carninal Tate,
32:30and then Flex. I don't know who they're playing, but Flex would be two in or Pard or Quinton Johnston. Really would
32:35depend on those environments. Um but we got those guys. We've got Jacobe Meyers, uh, Romeo Dobs, uh, backup quarterback, and Kyler for that upside, Fenoi, Hunter
32:46Henry at tight end. Um, we definitely went thinner at quarterback and at tight end. I do prefer again grabbing one of
32:53Bowowers or Loveid, but that wasn't really an option for us in this draft.
32:58Um, it's more so honestly an option when you have like a an earlier mid first round pick. Um, didn't really have an opportunity to not
33:05draft late quarterback, so we went with that. And then quarterback, we didn't really have an opportunity to go in the mid round. So that's why a late first
33:11round pick can be challenging at times.
33:14You get that really nice double dip at running back, but then you kind of force to be drafting skilled players in this
33:21whole range. You miss out on this range of quarterback unless you want to reach earlier on. Um I guess technically we
33:27almost landed um Dak Prescott this spot, but I think our skilled players are still very very strong. It's definitely not one of the better drafts, but you
33:35know, if Stafford goes back to being what he was last season, if Kyler breaks out, you know, and you could just stream
33:39those two, you'd be producing at mid round value anyways and at tight end, um, we kind of figure it out as the
33:45season goes along. But again, I love my teams. I can draft ours or Coulson Lovelin, but I don't think at a late
33:50first round pick you can really do that.
33:52Um, people ask all the time what the best picks are. It really does go in order. Like honestly, it's so boring,
33:58but this season, the earlier the better.
34:00If you can just try and get an earlier pick, these late picks are fine. Uh but they are not amazing and especially in a
34:07three wide receiver league. It's just difficult drafting at the late first if you don't, you know, get one of these like JSN Amanro Jefferson Lamb if you
34:15miss out on them, which you're probably going to do at the 112. You kind of have to double dip a running back, kind of
34:20have to tack wide receiver after that.
34:22But it's I just think it creates a weaker team. So the 12 pick is not great this year. You want to be drafting early
34:28on. you're going to draft better squads.
34:30So, that'll do it for this one. Uh, thank you all for watching. Uh, please leave a like if you are still here.
34:35Please subscribe to the channel if you are new. But I'll catch you all on the next one.
