A.J. Brown

PositiveProjection8:44

Matthew Berry ranks AJ Brown as his WR8 (19th overall), citing his deep-ball chemistry with Drake Maye; Brown led the NFL in deep-pass touchdown receptions over the last four years, while Maye had the highest passer rating on deep passes last season.

Insight page

Bo Nix

NegativeProjection37:11

Matthew Berry ranks Bo Nix as QB15, viewing him as a viable mid-tier QB2. While Nix was a top-10 fantasy quarterback the last two years, Berry is tempering expectations due to uncertainty regarding his rushing volume and the fact that much of his previous production was driven by a single game against the Giants.

Insight page

Chris Olave

PositiveProjection16:59

Matthew Berry ranks Chris Olave as a top-11 WR, noting that with Tyler Shough as the starter last year, Olave averaged 18.8 fantasy points per game with a 29% target share. Berry believes the Saints' contract extension signals confidence in Olave's health.

Insight page

Christian Watson

PositiveRole40:23

Matthew Berry highlights Christian Watson as the clear WR1 in Green Bay following the departures of Wicks and Dobbs. Watson finished as the WR15 in points per game over the final seven weeks of last season.

Insight page

Colston Loveland

PositiveValue41:58

Matthew Berry is high on Colston Loveland, ranking him 33rd overall and calling him a 'ride or die' player for the season.

Insight page
PositiveValue65:04

Matthew Berry ranks Colston Loveland as his TE3 (33 overall), significantly ahead of his 41 ADP. Loveland showed elite utilization last year, and Berry expects him to be a focal point of the Bears' offense, noting that Caleb Williams frequently looked his way in critical situations.

Insight page

Courtland Sutton

NegativeBust50:35

Matthew Berry is fading Cortland Sutton, ranking him at WR47 (105 overall) compared to his 83 ADP. Berry notes Sutton is volume-dependent and likely to lose the WR1 role to Jalen Waddell, making him too touchdown-dependent to justify his current draft price.

Insight page

Dalton Schultz

PositiveValue44:58

Matthew Berry ranks Dalton Schultz at 145 overall, beating his 167 ADP. Schultz finished as a top-10 tight end in eight different weeks last year and could emerge as the Texans' second-leading pass catcher given their receiving corps injuries.

Insight page

Davante Adams

NegativeBust58:46

Matthew Berry is lower than consensus on Davante Adams, ranking him as a WR3. Berry expects touchdown regression after an outlier season where Adams had double-digit touchdowns from two yards or less, and notes injury risks for the 34-year-old receiver.

Insight page

DeVonta Smith

PositiveBreakout10:46

Matthew Berry identifies Devonta Smith as his 'ride or die' player, ranking him as a top-10 WR. Smith averages 18.3 fantasy points per game when seeing seven-plus targets, and Berry expects him to be the focal point of the Eagles' passing offense under new coordinator Sean Mannion.

Insight page

DK Metcalf

PositiveBust52:37

Matthew Berry is fading DK Metcalf, citing Aaron Rodgers' tendency to throw short and the increased target competition in Pittsburgh. Metcalf struggled with deep-ball volume last year and ranked 32nd in red-zone target share, making him a risky pick in the eighth or ninth round.

Insight page

Harold Fannin

PositiveBust51:24

Matthew Berry ranks Harold Fannin at TE7, noting that his massive rookie target share is unlikely to repeat due to increased competition from Casey Concepcion and Denzel Boston, as well as the quarterback transition to Deshaun Watson.

Insight page

Isaiah Likely

PositiveValue44:25

Matthew Berry ranks Isaiah Likely at 111 overall, slightly above market, noting he is the fourth-ranked tight end in fantasy points per target over the last three seasons and should serve as the primary pass catcher for Jackson Dart on the Giants.

Insight page

Jake Ferguson

NegativeBust49:30

Matthew Berry is lower on Jake Ferguson than the market, ranking him 134 overall compared to his 117 ADP. Berry cites Ferguson's low average depth of target (under 5 yards), lack of high target share, and increased competition from George Pickens and Ryan Flornay as reasons to fade him.

Insight page

Josh Downs

PositiveRole41:46

Matthew Berry expects an expanded role for Josh Downs, who will play in two-wide receiver sets and move outside. With Michael Pittman gone and Keenan Allen aging, Berry anticipates a high volume of targets for Downs in the current offensive scheme.

Insight page

Josh Jacobs

NegativeValue5:32

Matthew Berry advises fantasy managers to avoid or lower Josh Jacobs in rankings due to significant, unknown risks currently surrounding his situation.

Insight page

Juwan Johnson

PositiveSleeper20:56

Matthew Berry likes Juwan Johnson as a late-round tight end and a viable TE2 option for the upcoming season.

Insight page
PositiveValue44:28

Matthew Berry ranks Juwan Johnson at 128 overall, beating his 145 ADP. Johnson was a top-five tight end in receptions, receiving yards, and routes last season and should see increased usage while Jordan Tyson is sidelined.

Insight page

Keaton Mitchell

PositiveUsage56:03

Matthew Berry likes Keaton Mitchell in slightly deeper leagues, noting that Mike McDaniel plans to use him creatively, including as a slot receiver.

Insight page

Ladd McConkey

PositiveValue30:16

Matthew Berry ranks Ladd McConkey 36th overall (ADP 42), projecting him as the clear WR1 for the Chargers. Berry notes that Mike McDaniel's scheme creates space for receivers and expects the Chargers' passing offense to run through McConkey.

Insight page

Luther Burden

PositiveBreakout39:11

Matthew Berry projects a breakout season for Luther Burden, noting that among wide receivers with at least 50 targets last year, Burden ranked top five in both yards per target and yards per route run. He is expected to be a major piece of the Bears' offense.

Insight page

MarShawn Lloyd

PositiveValue6:49

Matthew Berry recommends reaching for Marshawn Lloyd, noting he should be included in the tier of backup running backs and committee players.

Insight page

Mike Evans

PositiveProjection40:06

Matthew Berry expects Mike Evans to be the primary red-zone target for Brock Purdy, projecting him to reach double-digit touchdowns and serve as this year's version of Davante Adams.

Insight page

Parker Washington

PositiveUsage40:45

Matthew Berry identifies Parker Washington as the Jacksonville wide receiver to target. Washington maintained a 24% target share in games where he ran at least 70% of the routes, a usage rate Berry expects to continue as the starting slot receiver.

Insight page

Quentin Johnston

NegativeUsage31:45

Matthew Berry notes that while Quentin Johnston had a big preseason play, he is expected to earn only four to five targets per game in the Chargers' offense.

Insight page

Tucker Kraft

PositiveProjection42:31

Matthew Berry projects a monster year for Tucker Kraft, citing his 2.3 fantasy points per target (second only to George Kittle since 2023) and his status as the TE1 on a points-per-game basis in the first eight weeks of last year. Berry notes a narrow target tree in Green Bay and potential for increased passing volume due to running game concerns.

Insight page
PositiveProjection68:51

Matthew Berry highlights Tucker Kraft's efficiency, noting he averaged 2.3 fantasy points per target, second only to George Kittle since 2023. Before his ACL injury last year, Kraft was the TE1 in points per game from weeks one through eight.

Insight page

Tyler Warren

NegativeValue46:08

Matthew Berry likes Tyler Warren but is drafting him 'at market' value. He notes Warren is dealing with a nagging injury and is currently ranked behind Colston Loveland, making it difficult to place him on his 'loves' list.

Insight page

Xavier Worthy

PositiveValue46:40

Matthew Berry believes Xavier Worthy is being undervalued, currently being drafted in the 13th round despite the potential to be the Chiefs' leading wide receiver. Berry cites Travis Kelce's age and Rasheed Rice's injury/off-field concerns as reasons for Worthy's upside.

Insight page

Zay Flowers

NegativeUsage22:12

Matthew Berry ranks Zay Flowers 32nd overall, highlighting his high floor and 29% target share from last season. While touchdown equity is a concern, Berry views him as a rock-solid WR2 with breakout potential in PPR formats.

0:00It is live at noon on YouTube, but it's 5 o'clock somewhere.
0:04You guys know that, brothers and sisters, friends of the revolution.
0:07Welcome to LoveHate Day 2 Fantasy Football Happy Hour.
0:10And it's me, your buddy, your pal, your amigo, Matthew Berry, your friendly neighborhood bartender here as the Happy Hour bar is open for LoveHate Day 2.
0:18And I got sour news for you, Jack. It's just me.
0:22It's just me, your pal, Matty. Me and you, me and the regulars.
0:26There you go. We wanted to try this, so we'll see how it goes.
0:30So I hope you guys, lots of comments in the YouTube chat.
0:34We're going to get to all the pass catchers, of course, the entire LoveHate list up for free at FantasyLife.com as are all my rankings.
0:41And before we get to the LoveHate pass catchers, I just want to talk about this for one second.
0:47And that is GuillotineLeagues.com. If you've never played it, you have to try it.
0:51I'm begging you to try it. Join a public league.
0:55They're for free. There's a bunch of states where you can play for money if you would like to, if you think you're smarter than anyone else.
1:03And I know if you're listening to the show, I know you are.
1:07And if you play for money, we, meaning GuillotineLeagues.com, we don't take a fee.
1:11All the entry fees go into the prize pool.
1:14And that is not the case with, I think, literally any other platform that offers paid contests.
1:19But look, it's very simple. If you've never played a Guillotine League, just very quickly, I want to talk about it.
1:26You draft a team like normal. You have a league like normal.
1:29You start a lineup like normal. You know, quarterback, couple running backs, couple wide receivers, tight end, some flexes.
1:35At the end of the week, the team that has the lowest score gets cut.
1:40Their season's over. They're done. They're done. As Damien Vigone says, twist my ankle.
1:44I'll join. I like the ankle talk, Damien. Nice job.
1:47Well done. Way to slip that in there. Yeah.
1:50Look, and by the way, that's going to be our listener league.
1:54We're going to give details about that on Monday, but that will be our listener league.
1:59That'll be the fantasy football happy hour listener league.
2:01It will be an 18 team guillotine league. That's the other piece about guillotines is you can play.
2:07You can play with if you only have 13, if you have nine, whatever number you have, you don't have to have an even number.
2:15Because it's just about how many weeks are left in the season.
2:18So you want to do a nine person league?
2:21It'll end in week 10 or it could end in week 17 because we have an option on guillotineleagues.com called slow chop,
2:28where one person gets cut every other week. You could also do a 36 person league because we have double chop.
2:34Two teams get chopped every week. So anyway, lots of options at guillotinelegs.com.
2:38Please check it out. It's really fun. Oh, here's the other twist.
2:42The team that gets cut, the, uh, all the players on that team, on that team go back in the free agent pool.
2:49So every single week you're bidding on somebody's first round pick, somebody second round pick, their star quarterback.
2:55It makes waivers much more fun than sitting there going like, huh?
2:59Well, Romeo Dobbs got four targets last week. Maybe, maybe he's carving out a role.
3:03No, no. You're bidding on stars and, uh, uh, make KOKYT.
3:07Where is the guillotine league? I'll join. I appreciate that.
3:10Guillotineleagues.com. Guillotineleagues.com. Or you can look at, look for it in the app store.
3:14Uh, the guillotine league app. It's, uh, our tech is awesome.
3:17It was built by some, uh, some former FanDuel guys.
3:20Um, it's, uh, it's really fantastic. All right. It is time now for love, hate.
3:25Uh, one last, oh, sorry. You know me, I'm all over the place and even more so when I don't have someone
3:32else to keep you on the rails. Uh, Josh Jacobs.
3:35I want to get into love, hate. So we will discuss Josh Jacobs on Monday.
3:40Um, and partially because I want to get into love, hate and candidly, there's not a ton at the moment to talk
3:46about and discuss and to really get into other than the fact that there is clear risk in drafting him right now.
3:53There's a lot that's unknown with Josh Jacobs and we'll get into it all on Monday.
3:58But what I would say is, is that I would avoid, I, I would lower Josh Jacobs and probably understand that if
4:05you draft him, there is significant, significantly more risk risk than there was previously.
4:09And I would reach for Marshawn Lloyd. And by the way, when you get into those middle runs, when you start getting
4:16into sort of the backup running backs or the guys in committee, Marshawn Lloyd should be in that tier.
4:22Uh, so anyway, we'll get all into Josh Jacobs on Monday.
4:25I just wanted to, we didn't want you guys to think that I'm ignoring it.
4:30It's just, we've got to, uh, um, we've got to do this as, uh, may K.
4:35Okay. Says Barry going to take a, take down a whole bottle of Pinot on a solo show.
4:40I might actually, I've, I've done that before. Not on a solo show.
4:44I have taken down an entire bottle of Pinot.
4:47You know, I've taken down a Magnum of Pinot before when my wife and I get in the hot tub, you know,
4:54and you're getting a little dehydrated, like I will glug, glug, glug that, uh, that Magnum of Pinot, like nobody's business.
5:00And, and, and I extend my pinky when I do it because I'm classy.
5:05All right, here we go. Wide receiver loves, here we go.
5:08Players that I believe will exceed their ADP. Those are the loves that hates the players that I think will fall in.
5:15They'll fall short of their ADP. There's no such thing as a bad player, only bad ADP.
5:20What a cost to acquire said player services for your fantasy team.
5:24And we start in New England with AJ Brown.
5:27Well, we've talked about this connection quite a bit, but in addition to the emotional piece of it, the fact that he's
5:33got a chip on his shoulder, the fact that he's going to be the best wide receiver that Drake May has ever played with in his short career.
5:42The fact that AJ Brown's reunited with Mike Rabel, who he had so much success with in Tennessee.
5:47Despite all that, the fact is, is that, uh, on deep passes last year, Drake May had the highest passer rating on
5:54deep passes last season, 15 or more air yards in the NFL.
5:58Right? Um, no one was better on deep passes in terms of passer rating than Drake May.
6:03Okay. And he was also top two in the NFL in terms of touchdown passes that went 15 or more air yards.
6:10Okay. See it there on your screen. Well, what do you know?
6:14But over the last four years, no one has more, had more deep passes, 15 or yards, more downfield, more touchdown receptions
6:20on deep passes, 15 or more downfield than AJ Brown.
6:24Ergo, if so facto, therefore, obviously AJ Brown, Drake May, that's going to be a deep ball connection that carries you through the fantasy class.
6:31I'm at, I'm at wide receiver eight. Um, I'm ahead of the overall ranks in terms of total ADP as you see it there on your screen.
6:40I'm at night, uh, 19 overall. He's going around pick 22.
6:43Um, so, uh, yeah, give me some AJ Brown this year.
6:46Also, give me some Devante Smith. Give me his former teammate.
6:50My ride or die Devante Smith. That's right. We're all in on the slim Reaper since entering the NFL.
6:56Devante Smith ranks top 10 among wide receivers in yards per target.
6:59Is that good? I feel like that's good. Over the last two seasons and games in which he sees seven or more
7:06targets, he's averaging 18.3 fantasy points per game. That would have made him a top five fantasy wide receiver last year.
7:1318.3 fantasy points per game. Okay. So you're like, well, is he going to get seven targets a game with no AJ Brown?
7:20I think so. Over the last couple of years when AJ Brown has been off the field, Devante Smith was targeted on 30% of his routes.
7:28Again, think about it. If you're Jalen hurts, right?
7:30I got Devante Smith, um, or Makai lemon, who's dealing with a hamstring injury.
7:35Don Tavian Wix is was a part-time player in Philadelphia, Dallas Goddard.
7:38I mean, like Devante Smith is going to be the focal point of this Eagles passing offense.
7:44And I do believe there's actually going to be an Eagles passing offense.
7:48We've talked about this a lot, but, uh, Jalen hurts new offense coordinator for him, Sean Mannion, former NFL quarterback coming from
7:55green Bay, where he was part of that offensive staff.
7:58What do you think a former NFL quarterback is going to do when he comes to replace a guy that was fired
8:04who ran the ball all the time last year?
8:07They're going to throw the ball. They're going to throw the ball as Mick genuine says, the ride or die curse.
8:14Screw you, Mick genuine. What are you, Dan Housen?
8:16Stop this. Absolutely not. There is no ride or die curse.
8:20I'm just, I'm going to defend myself here. Mick genuine who I don't believe you are genuine.
8:25I don't believe that's your real name. I don't believe that's your God given name.
8:30Um, uh, I believe, and I'm going to say this here, Mick genuine.
8:34I believe you made that name up. Yes. That's an accusation I'm throwing at you.
8:38And here's the other thing I'm going to say is I've, I've had, nine ride or dies in my entire life.
8:45Nine ride or dies. The last nine years I've done one.
8:48One of them tore his ACL in the preseason.
8:51That was Darius guys. We came to find out later, Darius guys, maybe not the best person in the world.
8:57I feel like that was karma for what Darius guys has done off the field.
9:02Not anything that I did. Okay. Now there's eight rider dies.
9:05And of those eight rider dies, four of them, literally 50% finished top four at the position for the year.
9:11Austin Eckler, Jalen Hurts, Amon Ross St. Brown and Kareem Hunt, his rookie year.
9:16Four out of eight, 50%. I've nailed as like an elite fantasy option as a top four guy at their position.
9:22And two others outperformed their ADP. I'm six of eight, 75%.
9:25Martin's world, 90, 98 says, how many times can we make Barry crash out?
9:30Well, you're on one right now, Martin's world. I'm going to set the line at two and a half.
9:36Let's see if he can get us there. But either way, as Valiant Vincent says, and you're so right, Vincent.
9:42And I loved it, by the way, we gave Valiant Vincent, I don't know if you saw the ride or die show,
9:49but we gave Valiant Vincent the hammer. He was the last video that we played because he was so right.
9:55You know, he knew it was Devante Smith from last spring.
9:58Everyone knows it. So I appreciate everyone playing along, but make no mistake, Devante Smith, who I have at 24 and it's
10:05currently going as like 33, 34 in that range.
10:08I'm as a top 10 wide receiver. He's my ride or die.
10:11There is no curse McGenuine, but if there was, he would break it.
10:15Devante Smith is on the love list. All right, here we go.
10:19Chris Olave. Chris Olave makes the love list. You think about what happened once Tyler Shook took over, Tyler Shook.
10:25Sorry, I'm going to start that over. Here's where I'm going to start that over.
10:30Because my video guys, my social guys are like, listen, Barry, what are we supposed to do?
10:35We supposed to put that in there? They got to clip this for social media.
10:40So, you know, I'm trying to make their jobs easier.
10:43Martin's world. Chris Olave. Chris Olave with Tyler Shook as his starting quarterback last year, 18.8 fantasy points per game, six receptions
10:50a game over 82 yards a game. He averaged again, 18.8 fantasy points per game, almost a 30% target share.
10:56He would have been a top five fantasy wide receiver on a points per game basis.
11:01If you just had Tyler Shook for an entire season.
11:04Oh, guess what he has this year? Tyler Shook for an entire season.
11:08Plus an entire off season where the Saints paid him a lot of money.
11:12We talked about this with Roto Pat the other day.
11:15A little bit of follow the money. And it's not that, oh, now that he got paid, we think Chris Olave is
11:22going to get a big target share. He was always going to get a big target share.
11:27To me, what the money, the big massive guaranteed money for Chris Olave means is that no one knows his health better than the New Orleans Saints.
11:36And so for them to guarantee that kind of money, for them to pay Chris Olave the way they paid him, tells
11:42me that they feel confident that, you know, the health issues are not going to be there for Chris Olave.
11:49As Jay Woogie 66 says, Olave stay healthy and easily top 10 wide receiver.
11:53You're right, Jay Woogie. A thousand percent. The only question with Olave since he's coming to the NFL is can he stay healthy?
12:00And it's been some concussion stuff, which I don't know that that's indicative necessarily.
12:04And so, you know what? Brian Hickman, this one's a little bit, this is a reach too far.
12:10Can't spell Olave with love. Yes, you know, nice try, Brian Hickman.
12:13But they're not all winners. That's all right. It's a Friday.
12:17Brian, you'll be back. I appreciate it. But they're not all winners.
12:21And honestly, that's not even your fault. It's the producer's fault.
12:24I shouldn't have put your comment up there. I don't see the comments.
12:28They just throw them up there live on the screen.
12:31You tried. Good try. Good effort. Brian Hickman, you'll be back.
12:34I believe in you. You've had a lot of good comments this year.
12:38But the fact is, is that with Chris Olave, once Tyler Shuck became the starter, sixth in passing yards per game.
12:45That was Tyler Shuck, right? Sixth in passing yards per game.
12:48And again, 29% target share to Chris Olave. No Jordan Tyson.
12:52We don't know when he's coming back. Alvin Kamara banged up to start the season.
12:56Chris Olave's biggest competition for targets at the moment is Jawan Johnson.
13:00And I actually like Jawan Johnson kind of as a later round tight end.
13:04He probably should have made others receiving votes. He didn't.
13:07A little bit of a hint there, a little foreshadowing.
13:11But he probably should have because I do like Jawan Johnson as a late round tight end as a tight end too this year.
13:18But yeah, I mean, I have him at 25 overall.
13:21He's basically going pick 29, 30 for Chris Olave.
13:24I'm in on Chris Olave. I have him as a top 11 wide receiver this year.
13:29Olave Garden will be open for business. So now we move over.
13:32You know, April Showers brings Zay Flowers. Everyone knows that.
13:35Even though we're in August. Zay Flowers makes the love list.
13:39I have him at 32 overall. He's going at 37, 38 in that range.
13:43Last year, he had a 29% target share. Same as Chris Olave with Tyler Schuch.
13:4829% target share. He's the only wide receiver on the Ravens that had a target share above 12% last season.
13:54Think about Zay Flowers' competition for targets, right? Rashad Bateman, who has been, to be kind, inconsistent throughout his NFL career.
14:00And as you know, he's got, there's some off the field stuff as well.
14:05The rookie Jacoby Lane, who's turning heads in camp.
14:08I know they all like him, but he's still a rookie.
14:11Elijah Sarrett, another rookie. And then Tez Walker. Plus Mark Andrews.
14:14Isaiah Likely, who would have been competition for target.
14:17Now a member of the New York Giants. And so I just feel like Zay Flowers, there's such a massive floor there for Zay Flowers, right?
14:25Among qualified wide receivers last season, he was third in running in yards per route run last season.
14:31Back to back seasons, by the way, of him being top 15 in that category.
14:35He's one of only nine wide receivers that have had at least 200 or more fantasy points in PPR scoring each of the last three seasons.
14:43So the argument for Zay Flowers is that the floor is very high.
14:47You know he's just going to get a ton of work.
14:51But, but the touchdown equity is a bit of a concern.
14:54I believe Beto, Beto and our Discord. So the Fantasy Football Happy Hour has a, has a Discord that's unbelievable.
15:00It's very supportive. It's really great. Our Listener League, by the way, we're going to pick them from the Discord.
15:06If you want to be in the Fantasy Football Happy Hour Guillotine League, League Show League with me, with your pal Matty.
15:13And maybe I'll let producer Damien in the, in the league.
15:17You got to be in the Discord. So look up the Fantasy Football Happy Hour group chat on Discord as well.
15:23So anyway, Beto says, and there's a lot here, so I'm going to read it quickly.
15:28But say, Zay it ain't so flowers. I read what you wrote about Zay making your love list.
15:34I heard what you and Cup said about him last week.
15:37I know the stats you're dishing out are real.
15:40So why is it still hard for me, and I'm guessing plenty of other regulars, to trust Zay Flowers?
15:46Last year was the first year I didn't have him on a fantasy team.
15:50Somehow I've now been burned both by having Zay and not having Zay.
15:54Be our marriage counselor, Matthew. I don't want to hate Zay, but I'm starting to think Zay hates me.
16:00Respectfully, Beto, I think you might be right. Honestly.
16:03So because I have Zay Flowers on my love list, what I'm going to ask is that you refrain from drafting Zay Flowers.
16:10I need you to make me look right. I need you to sacrifice your fantasy success for mine and the rest of the regulars.
16:17No, look, the truth of the matter is, is like his upside is somewhat capped because again, the touchdowns generally aren't there for Zay Flowers.
16:25He's never been a big touchdown scorer. He's just had such an incredibly high floor.
16:29And I will tell you that like in a format like guillotine leagues where you're aiming more for floor than you are for upside.
16:37Again, the point with guillotine leagues isn't to win the league every week.
16:41It is just to finish second to last or just all you need to do is just not finish last every week
16:48in a guillotine league to keep playing one more week.
16:51So I have a lot of Zay Flowers in guillotine this year.
16:54But as we just talked about, lack of target competition, could he get from four to seven?
17:00Could he get from four to eight or nine?
17:02As Megatron Marks says, just give this man his flowers already.
17:06Exactly, Megaton. Megaton Marks, not Tron. Megaton Marks. So I think there's a chance for a real breakout season for Zay Flowers.
17:13But it's just you're not going to you're not going to lose with Zay Flowers because of what in terms of where
17:19he goes like he's a rock solid wide receiver, too.
17:22That has the ability potentially the potential to get to a number one wide receiver because you sort of look at like
17:29obviously Henry's going to get some rushing touchdowns. Andrews will be a red zone threat.
17:34I think Jacoby Lane will be a red zone threat.
17:37But again, we're not asking for craziness. Zay Flowers can get to like seven touchdowns along with a massive amount of work
17:44that he's going to get, especially in PPR scoring.
17:46He becomes really, really interesting as well. All right.
17:49Last love on the as footballer 77 says new list guys you hate to love.
17:54That's one interesting guys you hate to love. You know what?
17:57That's interesting. I think I would probably make that list.
18:00You know, I get that a lot, too, is it's, you know, Barry, I love you.
18:05I wish I didn't. I wish I could quit you, but I can't.
18:09And I get it. My wife says that. All right.
18:12Let's move on to the last wide receiver that's on the love list.
18:16And it is the man that is Maconkulus. Lad McConkie is my number 36 wide receiver.
18:21He's going as 42. So I'm not 36 wide receiver.
18:24I'm sorry. I'm at 36 overall. I've Lad McConkie at 36 overall.
18:28His ADP is 42. So he makes the love list.
18:31Look, Keenan Allen had 122 targets last year. And yet Lad McConkie still was top five in the NFL in slot targets.
18:38No Keenan Allen this year, but he does get Mike McDaniel, who is so good at creating space for his wide receivers.
18:45Right. Both Tyreek Hill and Jalen Waddell were top 10 in fantasy points per target under Mike McDaniel.
18:50And now you get Lad McConkie, who's the clear number one wide receiver on this Chargers offense in games in which McConkie
18:57gets at least a 20% target share. And right now he's competing for targets with a bunch of tight ends and Quinton Johnston and Trey Harris.
19:05Quinton Johnston, QJ is not going to be a big target earner.
19:09Like, I mean, we saw the bomb last night.
19:12Right. And we'll get it. That's the other thing is we'll get into all the preseason games act, all the preseason actions
19:18and the takeaways on Monday as well. But you saw that in the preseason.
19:23Like, OK, great. The great bomb to QJ. But like, like they're only QJ is going to get, you know, four targets game, five targets game.
19:31This passing offense is going to run through Lad McConkie.
19:34And I think the passing offense this year is going to be really, really good.
19:38So all in on Lad McConkie as Brendan Gullulli 993 says the value for Lad is McConkie.
19:44It's a nice use of McConkie. Brendan, nice job.
19:46Nice job. All right. Why don't we throw up a full screen while I take a sip of my wide receiver loves this year?
19:54If you're anything like me and my family, there's just nothing worse than opening up the fridge and realizing it's empty.
20:00Being like, oh, man, I forgot to thaw meat or I got to go to the grocery store and deal with all that, which is a disaster.
20:09So here's the fix. Keeping Omaha steaks in the freezer.
20:12It's been a lifesaver for us. Genuinely feels like having your own gourmet butcher on standby.
20:17Now, look, you guys know Omaha steaks, right? They've spent over a century perfecting their process.
20:22They age the beef meticulously. They vacuum seal each portion and then they ship it frozen directly to your door.
20:28Recently, me and my family seared up their pure ground brisket burgers, the rich flavor, and melt in your mouth texture blew
20:35standard grocery meat completely out of the water. I got to tell you, from the tender steaks and chicken to gourmet sides
20:41and desserts, having quality protein ready in minutes is a lifesaver for me and my family.

21:10Terms apply. See site for details. Oh, I know what you're thinking.
21:13Wow, that would have been nice if the producers would have done the entire full screen.
21:18But nope, it's just my ugly mug on screen for all 60 minutes.
21:22What's up? What's up, peep party people? All right, here we go.
21:26As you see, AJ Brown, Devante Smith, Chris Olave, Zay Flowers, Ladd McConkie.
21:30Those are your 2026 wide receiver loves. But there are some that also received votes.
21:35Here are your others receiving votes in terms of, and you got Jalen Waddell right there.
21:40Jalen Waddell, I'm at 37, his ADP is 45.
21:42You can see it on your screen. I won't read it all.
21:46Although for the people that are listening at home, I will actually.
21:50Jalen Waddell, Luther Burden. Look at that. Look at my team putting up the full screen.
21:55That's amazing. Thank you so much. Jalen Waddell, Luther Burden, Mike Evans, Christian Watson, Parker Washington, Josh Downs, Casey Concepcion, Wanda Robinson,
22:01the Strib Club is opening, Dijon Stribbling, and Xavier Worthy.
22:05So let's talk about each one of these very quickly.
22:08How about Jalen Waddell? And you see that stuntman, Chuck?
22:11You see that stuntman, Chuck? I gave a Bronco some love.
22:14There is a Denver Bronco on the loveless stuntman, Chuck.
22:17I'm just pointing that out. Burks and flannels. Just pointing that out.
22:21Oh, here we go. Stuntman Chuck. If Jalen Waddell makes your loveless, how do you justify all the Bo Nix slander this offseason?
22:28Well, I'll explain that stuntman, Chuck. I'll explain it very easily.
22:31Bo Nix is QB 15 for me. And as I explained yesterday on the show, and it's in the column as well,
22:38it's not that I hate Bo Nix because love-hate is truly really about price.
22:42And I think at QB 15, I'm in on Bo Nix.
22:46I got no issue with Bo Nix at QB 15.
22:49But I put him there for two reasons. Number one is I wanted to explain why I had Bo Nix at 15
22:56versus the top 10 fantasy wide receiver he's been each of the last two years.
23:00And the current season is again, like, will he run as much?
23:04And so much of his production came from last year, that one big game against the Giants.
23:09So that's why I have him at 15. The other thing is, honestly, quarterback is so deep this year, it is really,
23:16really hard to find like a hate. And I didn't want to just be like, oh yeah, here's my hate.
23:22CJ Stroud, like Daniel Jones, like whatever. Like I wanted a real person in there.
23:27And Bo Nix is a real person stuntman. And Chuck, he's a viable fantasy quarterback, but I think he's a mid-tier QB too.
23:34But I love Jalen Waddell for him. He's the only wide receiver in the NFL to average at least nine yards per
23:41target each of the past four seasons. We know they're going to throw a lot and he'll be the focal point.
23:47Sean Payton made a point of going out and getting Jalen Waddell.
23:51How about Luther Burden, who last year among wide receivers with at least 50 targets, was top five in the NFL in
23:58both yards per target and yards per route run.
24:00Breakout season coming for this Bears offense and Luther Burden is going to be a big piece of it.
24:06I think Mike Evans is going to be the main end zone target for Brock Purdy.
24:11Since 2023, the 49ers rank third in red zone passing touchdowns.
24:15I know it's always Purdy in the Strib Club, but give me Mike Evans to be this year's Devontae Adams double digit touchdowns coming for big Mike.
24:23Christian Watson over his final seven games of last year was the 15th best wide receiver in points per game.
24:29And his situation only got better with Wicks and Dobbs moving on to other teams.
24:34It's just him, Matthew Golden and Jaden Reed. Of course, Tucker Craft as well.
24:38But Watson's the number one wide receiver on what I think is going to be a pretty good pass catching offense.
24:45And then, you know, we're going to talk about Parker Washington.
24:48Talked about him a lot this year, but he is to me the Jacksonville Jaguar wide receiver that you want the most.
24:55In games that he ran at least 70% of the routes and we expect that to happen again this year as he's
25:02going to be the starting slot guy. 24% target share for Parker Washington.
25:06Josh Downs is actually going to play in two wide receiver sets.
25:09I know everyone sort of categorizes him as a slot receiver, but look, Alec Pierce coming back from that ankle surgery.
25:16Keenan Allen's 34 years old. Josh Downs is going to play in two wide receiver sets.
25:21He can move outside. And I just think the way Daniel Jones likes to play the kind of offense they want to run.
25:28Just a lot of targets coming in for Josh Downs, who's just so good and now has an expanded role with Michael Pittman in Pittsburgh.
25:35How about Casey Concepcion? Give him, give him Aggies.
25:38Like as we talked about this, right? He's going to be what Zay Flowers was for Munkin in Baltimore.
25:44That's what Concepcion is going to be in Cleveland, which, you know, that offense prioritizes getting wide receivers the ball in space.
25:51I just think they're going to do a bunch of gadget stuff with him.
25:55Sweeps and, and, you know, putting them in backfield and little bubble screams and slants.
26:00And we already saw like he had a rushing touchdown in the first preseason game.
26:04So first round pick going to get a lot of work from the Cleveland Browns offense.
26:09Casey Concepcion I like. And how about Wondell Robinson?
26:12Back to back seasons with 140 targets from, and the guy that gave him those 140 targets, Brian Dayball, is the guy
26:19that paid him $17 million to follow him to Tennessee.
26:22So I think Wondell Robinson, especially for a, you know, a guy on the Titans is going in, you know, young quarterback
26:29in Cam Ward competing with Carnell Tate, the rookie.
26:32I think Wondell Robinson, I love Wondell Robinson and like in guillotine.
26:35I just think there's a floor with some potential upside for Wondell Robinson, especially because people aren't like crazy about him because of the Tennessee thing.
26:43And I think like Cam Ward will be fine, at least in terms of getting the ball to Wondell Robinson.
26:49All right. Now I know, I know in the discord, Dr.
26:53Deoxide was asking me about the Strib Club. So I saw this, I saw this in the discord.
26:58I wanted to address it on the show. Dr.
27:01Deoxide asking, has the Strib Club gotten too pricey considering his preseason production has come with CMC, Evans and Kittle all not playing?
27:08And I don't think so, because that's part of the calculus, right?
27:12I mean, just think about who you just mentioned, Evans, Kittle, CMC, all dealing with injuries.
27:17Right now they're all banged up. Kittle coming off a very serious injury.
27:21Both McCaffrey and Evans have missed significant time in their overall NFL careers.
27:25The substation never loses. Ultimately, that's part of the argument is Stribling is going to see, you know, playing time because we
27:32can't count on those other three guys all playing 17 games.
27:35And honestly, even if he's just the number two wide receiver, like this offense is good enough.
27:40Kyle Shanahan is a good enough offensive coordinator and good enough play caller.
27:44You know, I mean, he's the head coach, but he's really, you know, he calls the place.
27:50He's a good enough offensive play caller that, you know, I think you just want part of, you just want part of that offense.
27:57And so I'm in on, I'm in on DeJawn Stribling.
28:00And then finally, you know, Xavier Worthy. Like we, he's great, great reports out of camp.
28:05Travis Kelsey is 37 years old. Rasheed Rice coming back from a serious injury also has some issues off the field.
28:11And we heard Dan Graziano, our, our friend say on an earlier episode of fantasy football happy hour that, that, you know, they expect big things from worthy.
28:20Like this is a guy that we were drafting in like, you know, as a top 15 wide receiver last year, it's a top 20 wide receiver.
28:28And now like he's going significantly lower as you see it there on your screen, like 13th round for Xavier Worthy for
28:35a guy that might be the leading wide receiver on the Chiefs.
28:39I know that it's Rasheed Rice, but I just, that feels like too big a drop for me as a PJC 0501
28:46says, I hope DeJawn is impervious to DeZubstation. Not bad, not bad.
28:49PJC, I like that. Thanks for chiming in. Good to have you here in the club as a regular at the happy hour bar.
28:57All right. But unfortunately, without, you have not, Luttrell5517, you did not miss Barry's ankles.
29:01I'll do that after I talk about, talk about my hates.
29:05Although, let's see, dinner butter connoisseur says, connoisseur says, thank you producers.
29:08Now cut to the ankle cam. We should have an ankle cam.
29:12We don't have an ankle cam right now. We're working on it.
29:16The truth of the matter is, boys and girls, I hope we have everyone.
29:20The club is, the bar is all inclusive. But we're working on a bigger bar.
29:25I am building the happy hour bar. You see me here, but I'm building a full on set, literally down the hall from where I am right now.
29:33We're building a bigger bar. So once we have the bigger bar, I'm going to try to get an ankle cam because I love that.
29:41It's Footbrawler77 says, Barry's ankles don't play in the preseason.
29:44That's not true. That's not true, Footbrawler. But you know, you got to tease it out.
29:49You can't just give the goods right away. I got to make you guys earn it.
29:54Matt Tennant says, do it. All right. Yeah, we're getting there.
29:57I promised after the hate wide receivers. But it's like you're on a date.
30:02You know, you want to play a little game here, a little gamesmanship.
30:06I'm not just, you know, I can't just, why are you going to buy the kill if I, why are you going
30:13to buy the cow if I give the milk for free?
30:16All right. You guys got to earn it. Got to earn it.
30:20All right. Somebody that has to earn it as well is Martin's World.
30:24Barry's ankles are pronounced A-chan. I don't know why I'm mispronouncing everything, man.
30:28I blew your joke, Martin's World. I'm sorry. Barry's ankles are pronounced A-chan.
30:32Well done. Very well done. It's very nice. All right.
30:35All right. The wide receiver hates for 2026 and we start, I'm sorry, stuntman Chuck, but it is Cortland Sutton.
30:41But part of it is because of Jalen Waddell, who I think becomes the number one wide receiver.
30:47The concern on Cortland Sutton, who turns 31 in October, is that he's always been kind of volume dependent, right?
30:53Since 2021, he's 54th, literally 54th among wide receivers in targets per route run.
30:57So he's been a big touchdown guy. He's been a big target guy.
31:01And so I just don't know that he's going to get the kind of volume.
31:06I think he'll still be a big red zone threat for Bo Nix.
31:10So I think there's value there. I'm at wide receiver 47.
31:13But the concern is, is that we're hearing great things about Pat Bryant.
31:17He's having an awesome camp, right? You know, you've got, you've got Marvin Mims still there.
31:22You've got 8 million tight ends. It feels like you've got the, you've got Troy Franklin there.
31:27And obviously I think this passing offense runs through Jalen Waddell.
31:31That's why Jalen Waddell was on the love list.
31:33And so Cortland Sutton, unfortunately I'm at 105 overall.
31:36His current ADP is 83. So I will have no shares of Cortland Sutton this year.
31:41I just don't think he's worth the price. When you look at some of the other wide receivers going in that range, he's very touchdown dependent, Cortland Sutton.
31:50And good luck guessing when those games are going to be, especially because again, the offense is going to run through Jalen Waddell.
31:57So, all right. Another guy that we like, especially because when I look in a mirror, I look to myself, I'm like, wow, damn, you're like DK Metcalf.
32:05But the truth of the matter is, is that it's not just how we look shirtless.
32:10DK Metcalf, I think are also, he and I are also similar in terms of our fantasy production this year.
32:17Right? I don't think either of us are going to have a great fantasy season on the field.
32:22I intend to have a great one off the field.
32:25But part of the problem with DK Metcalf, right?
32:28It, here's what I'll say about DK Metcalf. He was on the hate list last year.
32:33And I was right about him last year. And that was when Aaron Rodgers was a year younger.
32:38And he didn't have to deal Mike deal with Michael Pittman.
32:42So, or Jeremy Bernard or two different tight ends or a couple of running backs that they're going to throw to the concern on Metcalf last year.
32:50And I think it's the same one here. Aaron Rodgers doesn't throw deep anymore.
32:54Among qualified quarterbacks, Aaron Rodgers was literally dead last and averaged up the target last year.
32:59Like he became a dink and dunk guy. And DK Metcalf had a couple of blowout game, blow up games last year.
33:06But otherwise, he just wasn't great. And you never felt great about starting him.
33:10Because it was just a low octane offense. It wasn't one that scored a ton of points a bunch.
33:16This is a guy who last year on deep passes of 15 or more air yards, averaged 1.6 targets per game.
33:23Like they took one deep shot a game to him basically.
33:26Like, and so you think about DK Metcalf, 6'4", 235 pounds.
33:30He was 32nd among wide receivers in red zone target share.
33:33Think about that. You got a guy the size of DK Metcalf and literally there's 31 wide receivers that have a higher
33:40red zone target share than DK Metcalf. Martin's World says, what is with DK's pick?
33:44Look at those crazy eyes. I haven't looked at it recently, but I'm going to trust you and believe you.
33:51But I just, you know, he's going 80th overall.
33:53I'm at 89. I think he'll be okay. But I'm just nervous about what this offense looks like.
33:59I think McCarthy will have a more progressive passer friendly offense than it was under Tomlin.
34:04But I still don't think they're going to go crazy.
34:07Rodgers is a guy that wants to throw it short.
34:10There's a lot more target competition for DK Metcalf.
34:13I just, hard to see the upside play for DK Metcalf.
34:16And when you're in that range, when you're the late eighth, ninth round, like you want upside.
34:21You're not just trying to get like a guy like, oh yeah, this guy can get me, you know, eight to 10 points game.
34:29Like you're swinging for the fences a little bit.
34:32And I just don't think that's DK Metcalf this year in Pittsburgh.
34:35Stuntman Chuck says, I just threw my computer out my window again onto the laptop.
34:40Wait a minute. So you have a, Stuntman Chuck, you have a, you have a, you have like a standing computer?
34:46What do you mean you, what do you mean you're onto the laptop?
34:50Isn't your laptop your computer? Do you have like an old timey big computer?
34:55You know, with the, with the circles and everything like that, where you're like, what do you mean you threw your computer out the window?
35:02All right. Stuntman Chuck says, I just put my foot through my wall and I'm leaving that there until the stream is over.
35:10All right. 17 more minutes, Stuntman Chuck. I don't believe you.
35:13I dare you to send a picture, put it in the discord.
35:17All right. Okay. Yeah, exactly. By the way, Martin's world, I know you're keeping score in terms of crashing out.
35:23It's me one, Stuntman Chuck two. All right. Last wide receiver hate.
35:26And it's Devite. It's, it's Devante Adams at Stuntman Chuck.
35:30Yes, I have an old big, old timey big computer.
35:33All right, fine. I'm having trouble reading today. I had a lot of P&O last night, honestly, is the answer.
35:39All right. So Devante Adams makes the hate list.
35:42And it's not that I hate Devante Adams, obviously he's one of the best wide receivers in the NFL.
35:47The concern is where he's going in terms of, in terms of his ranks.
35:52Yeah. Like I just, this is a guy that turns 34 in December, missed three games with a hamstring injury last year.
35:59And I just believe the end zone target share last year was a bit of an outlier.
36:04As we talked about, I really think Sean McVay wanted Stafford to get that MVP.
36:08I think they sort of padded the stats. We talked about it, that Devante Adams had double digit touchdown receptions of two yards or less.
36:16And no one else in the NFL had more than five.
36:19Right? Think about where Devante Adams like averaged under 60 receiving yards a game last year.
36:24And we know Puka is getting all the receptions.
36:27Terrence Ferguson's coming on. Devante Adams is just too touchdown dependent for me to be a wide receiver, to count on him as a wide receiver two.
36:36So I'm as wide receiver 25. I'm as a wide receiver three.
36:39And I think where he's being drafted is, is a low end wide receiver two.
36:44So I'm just concerned, you know, that again, I think there'll be regression to the touchdowns.
36:49There's some injury risk there. And in terms of where he's going, there's just, there's younger wide receivers with more upside.
36:55I think we saw the best case scenario for Devante Adams last year.
36:59And so again, I think he has a good year.
37:02I think he's going to be fine, but it's, he makes the hate list because I'm lower on him than consensus.
37:09And those are the reasons why. All right. All right, get ready.
37:13I think Devante has juice left, but he's actually underused says, uh, Elia Fumiano.
37:17I apologize, Elia, if I mispronounced your name. Uh, sometimes it's hard to see.
37:21Um, I have a little screen in front of me.
37:24Like, so sometimes I have to, I have a monitor here on the side where I can read your comments.
37:30So that's why sometimes I look to the side, taking you behind the scenes and you know what else I'm going to do.
37:38So, um, Martin's world, all this ageism is upsetting me.
37:41You shouldn't be upset. You should not be upset because I'm about ready to do something for you.
37:46I'm about ready to do something to make you happy.
37:49You know, I'm an old man, but I'm still a sex symbol because of my legs, because of, oh, some sweet, sweet, sweet ankle content for you.
37:58Yeah, that's right. Take a screenshot. Send that to only ankles.
38:01That's right. To ankle wiki. That's right. You guys can all Venmo me for ankle, more ankle pics.
38:06But, uh, there you go. If you want to be, there's a freebie for you guys.
38:11There's a freebie for sticking with me through the solo show.
38:15There you go. All right. Never let it be said.
38:18Never let it be said that your boy, Maddie, doesn't play the hits.
38:22And I'm not, uh, that I'm not fan friendly.
38:25Uh, footballer says immediately demonetized. Yeah. I mean, this, this show is not making any money on YouTube.
38:30There's no question about that. Um, uh, as a beef Supreme five, 10 letting the dogs out.
38:35Yeah. Who let the dogs out? Your boy, Maddie did.
38:39Uh, as we get to our tight end loves, Kyle Adams, don't really gotta pay for this.
38:44You're right. Well here it's, you know, it's a special at the bar.
38:48Yeah. So, um, anyway, hopefully you took a screenshot there and, uh, Kyle, don't tell me what you do with the screenshot.
38:55I don't want to know. Um, but, uh, I gotcha brother.
38:58I gotcha. All right. Time now for the tight end loves and no shocker leading my tight end loves Colston Loveland.
39:04He was the runner up for my ride or die.
39:08I am a tight end three. I'm at 33 overall.
39:11Now he's going consensus in the industry is tight in three, but where I have him significantly ahead of market is in ADP.
39:18I'm at 33 overall. He's going 41 or so.
39:20And so, you know, almost a full round ahead on Colston Loveland.
39:24Again, I'm a big proponent of getting one of the big three or one of the, you know, one of the, you
39:31know, one of the big five tight ends. If you can, you know, Warren's at four.
39:36Tyler Warren is at four. Tucker craft is at five.
39:39I really want to be one of the first people in my league to get a tight end this year or one of the last.
39:47Cause I do think they're going to make a significant difference.
39:50And it's hard for me to, to see where Loveland would significantly outperform Bowers or McBride, assuming health for all three.
39:57But I do think he has a monster year this year, right?
40:00Final 10 games last year, 90, a 90 utilization score on a scale of 100.
40:05That would have ranked second among tight ends last year for the five games where he saw at least a 20% target share over 20 fantasy points.
40:13Games where he saw at least seven targets, he averaged 99 yards per game.
40:18So you're like, all right, Barry, well, will he get seven targets a game?
40:22I believe he will. First draft pick ever of the Ben Johnson era.
40:26Ben loves him. No DJ Moore. We, I can't remember the last time I heard Cole Komet's name.
40:31Kalmanungai already banged up. Luther Burden already banged up.
40:34When the playoffs, when the games were on the line, what did Caleb Williams do?
40:39He was looking for Colston Loveland, right? And LALC247, he's his nickname, LC, and he's a Lakers fan.
40:44So we like that. And he says, are we worried a lot of Loveland's emergence came when a Dunze was out?
40:51No, I'm not. Because again, DJ Moore was there.
40:54And it's like, you know, and what was the difference between DJ Moore and a Dunze?
40:59I don't know that there was significant, you know, significant difference last year in terms of like whether it was a banged up a Dunze or DJ Moore.
41:07So I don't, I don't think so. He's going to be a big part of this offense.
41:12Keeps getting talked up. I think Caleb Williams, I'm like, I'm in on all the bears this year, LC.
41:18So no, I'm not concerned, obviously, because I wouldn't have him at 33 overall.
41:23Give me all the Loveland. I have a ton of Colston Loveland this year.
41:27Again, runner up for ride or die for me this, this year.
41:31All right. Pick number five. I'm sorry. The second tight end on my love list here, Tucker Kraft.
41:36Tucker Kraft. So for his career, 2.3 fantasy points per target.
41:40Only George Kittle has been better since 2023. Weeks one through eight last year before he tore his ACL.
41:45He was the number one tight end in fantasy football on a points per game basis.
41:50He had seven completed games, had over 20% target share.
41:53No Dobbs, no Wicks. So more of a narrow target tree in Green Bay.
41:58So good after the catch as well. So I think Tucker Kraft should have a monster year and all reports out of
42:05Green Bay are he is fully healthy. By the way, we'll get more into this on Monday again.
42:10But with the question marks around the running game, I could see them passing more this year as well.
42:16So that's why Jordan Love made others receiving votes yesterday for the quarterback loves.
42:20Speaking of others receiving votes, here are the tight ends that are also receiving votes.
42:25You know, we mentioned Isaiah Likely. We mentioned Juwan Johnson.
42:28I talked about him. It's interesting. I actually forgot that I had him on the list because I was like, I want to put him on.
42:36And then I took him off. I took him off because I had another guy on there as well.
42:42I had Gunnar Helm on there. And then I put Juwan Johnson back on.
42:46So I went back and forth with Juwan Johnson and Gunnar Helm for late round others receiving votes.
42:52So here you go. Juwan Johnson officially on others receiving votes, along with Isaiah Likely, along with Dalton Schultz.
42:58Like we talked about this with Likely. We talked about him the other day.
43:02He's fourth among tight ends in fantasy points per target over the last three seasons.
43:06He should get a lot of targets as probably the number two pass catcher for Jackson Dart on the New York Giants.
43:13Of course, it's all the money. John Harbaugh gets this big contract with the Giants.
43:18What's he do? One of the first things he does?
43:21Give me Isaiah Likely. Get him to come over here.
43:24Juwan Johnson, top five among tight ends in receptions receiving yards and routes last season.
43:29No Jordan Tyson for at least six weeks, maybe two months.
43:32And Dalton Schultz. No, no Kittle, Burks and Flannels.
43:35Like I like Kittle. Again, I thought about him.
43:38I went back and forth. But Dalton Schultz, eight different weeks last year, finishing as a top 10 tight end, tied for third most of the position.
43:46They've had injuries at the receiving core. So I know they just traded for Kayshawn Booty.
43:51You know, we'll see what they get out of Tank Dell, Jalen Noel.
43:55But I think there's a chance that Dalton Schultz is the second leading pass catcher on the Texans, the same as Juwan
44:02Johnson is, at least until Jordan Tyson makes his return.
44:05I know that Fix It Fire was asking in the Discord about Tyler Warren.
44:09How did he not even make others receiving votes?
44:12The answer to Tyler Warren here is I love Tyler Warren.
44:15I mean, you know, I really like the player.
44:18I'm a tight end for the truth is, though, that all this is like, how are you above market?
44:24Right. And so as you see it there with the others receiving votes, like Isaiah, likely I'm at 111, slightly above ADP.
44:31Juwan, I have at 128. His ADP is 145.
44:33Schultz, I have at 145. His ADP is 167.
44:36I'm pretty much right at market on Tyler Warren because I can't move him past Loveland.
44:41You know, I can't get him into the top three.
44:44And so, you know, I just I just feel like he's tight end for.
44:49And then you think about you also with Brian.
44:51Sorry, Brian Hickman. Give me a second. When you think about Tyler Warren in terms of where he goes and drafts and,
44:58you know, like in that 50 range. And I sort of like that's usually where I'm drafting like a second running back.
45:05And so I just I like Tyler Warren. He's also dealing with, you know, he's got a little bit of a nagging injury here.
45:12So I like him fine. I have but I'm at market.
45:16So it's hard to put him on either loves or others receiving votes.
45:20Brian Hickman asking where's Mercedes Lewis? It's a good question.
45:23He should have been on there instead of Juwan Johnson.
45:26All right. Quickly now, let's get into the tight end hates.
45:29Barry is on Kittle's hate list. No, no, no.
45:32I've got to tell you something. George Kittle, proud fantasy life investor.
45:36We haven't made that big of a deal of it yet because he came in on the last round.
45:42But yes, believe it or not, George Kittle, proud fantasy life investor.
45:45So he's I'm definitely not on his hate list.
45:48The man gave me his money. The man gave me his money to invest in in fantasy life.
45:54So we appreciate George Kittle, friend of the show, George Kittle.
45:57He's just not on the love list because again, like I'm slightly above market on him, but not significantly.
46:03So the players that I'm lower on in the market, though, the players that make the hate list for tight ends, Jake Ferguson.
46:10Currently going at 117 overall. I'm at 134 overall.
46:13Four games, literally just four games with more than 50 receiving yards last year.
46:17He had an average depth of target of under five yards.
46:20Like he was 28th and a dot like, you know, he's never had a season with a target share more than 17%.
46:27And the Ferguson argument was always that he's kind of a touchdown dependent tight end.
46:32It's a Dak likes to throw the tight end.
46:35They're going to be a good offense. But the addition of George Pickens, the emergence of Ryan Flornay.
46:40We're hearing all this great stuff about Flornay. Of course, my guy hates I call him a CD lamb just feels like
46:47there's just more options than there was, you know, previously for Jake Ferguson.
46:51Plus they run. They found something in Javante Williams for a little while there.
46:55They just didn't have a great run game. Emmett was towards the end of his career.
47:00I'm not Emmett. Sorry, Ezekiel Elliott was at the end of his career and it just, I don't know.
47:06So Jake Ferguson, I'm out on Ferguson again in that range, whether it's Juwan Johnson, you know, there's there's other guys in
47:13that range that I think have some Apple actual upside.
47:16I like Gunnar Helm a lot this year. I like Jacob Conquo this year.
47:20So those are some guys. Someone else that makes the hate list.
47:24Harold, Harold Fannin, you know, I specifically, though, in half PPR.
47:27This is somebody that just, you know, really low a dot.
47:31He was outside the top 15 and in yards per reception among tight ends last year as well.
47:36And then you think about the target competition. Casey Concepcion, Denzel Boston, like last year, Fannin got such a massive target share, right?
47:43The eighth most targets by a rookie tight end in NFL history.
47:47Top eight in target share among rookie tight ends in NFL history.
47:51And I just don't see that happening again this year, especially because so much of that success for Fannin last year came
47:58down the stretch with Shadur Sanders as his quarterback.
48:00And now he's got Deshaun Watson. We don't know how long Watson's going to be the starting quarterback, but for now, at least he is.
48:08Plus, again, added target competition. Boston, Concepcion. You've still got Jerry Judy there.
48:12I have Fannin at tight end seven. I just think the upside there isn't nearly as much.
48:17As Dr. Deoxide says, dream team name. Fannin my bootay after tootin'.
48:21I mean, what are we doing, Deoxide? I can't do it.
48:24How am I supposed to go on after that?
48:27Well, you know, you just did though. I'll just tell you this, Dr.
48:31Deoxide. You tied me up with stuntman Chuck, right?
48:34You know, we're not, I've lost it twice. That's unbelievable.
48:37Fannin my bootay after tootin'. Yeah, I mean, it means you have to roster all three of those guys, but it might
48:44be worth it just for that name. Dr. Deoxide, if indeed that is your real name.
48:49Well done, doctor. There you go. Shut it down.
48:51There you go. That's the comment of the day.
48:54Unbelievable. You know what we should do? Producer Damien, make a note of this.
48:59We should have a comment of the day. You know, we do, last call, that should be last call.
49:04We may get a, we may get in betting sponsors segment and then we've got to do last call there.
49:11But just at some point, comment of the day.
49:13We need to have some sort of vote. We're going to figure this out.
49:18I got to figure this out. Comment of the day or maybe at the end of the week, we'll do comments of the week.
49:25I have to figure this one out. I got to think about this.
49:29I got to workshop it. But we will. All right.
49:32And last one here, because in the Discord, I know Berkson Flannels was asking a question earlier today.
49:38He wanted to ask me about the Chargers and their tight end situation right here.
49:42Like what do we even do with the tight end mess on the Chargers?
49:47Gadsden showed some promise, but now Njoku and Charlie Kohler are in the mix.
49:51Is this just something to avoid until a tight end one is established?
49:55Going with a hot hand at tight end seems weird.
49:58I agree with you, Berkson Flannels. And the answer is yes.
50:01I think it's an avoid situation. Could there be a scenario where, you know, Gadsden emerges as the, quote, third pass catcher
50:08on this team after McConkie and QJ and sort of bypasses Trey Harris on the depth chart?
50:13And, you know, just and they use Njoku and Kohler more as blocking tight ends.
50:18I think so. But my but I'm here. We're hearing great things about Kohler out of out of camp.
50:24And Njoku is pretty good as well. So I just I think they're going to all cancel each other out.
50:30I think you'll see a decent amount of 12 personnel.
50:33You'll see two guys out there and like there'll be a Gadsden game and there'll be an Njoku game.
50:39And I just I think the Chargers offense this year is going to be really, really good.
50:44And but I want basic and so I want a lot of pieces of it.
50:49Obviously McConkie made the love list. We talked about QJ the other day with Roto Pat.
50:54Like I'm in on QJ as a late round sleeper.
50:57Amari and Hampton made the love list. I'm in on Hampton.
51:00Never wrong. Just early. I like Keaton Mitchell a lot.
51:03I've drafted a decent amount of Keaton Mitchell this year.
51:07Like again, just we hear all the talk about, you know, Mike McDaniel with the wanted posters and trying to use him
51:13and, you know, try to use him like as a as a slot receiver.
51:18Just, you know, just doing a bunch of different things lining up all information.
51:22I think they're going to get creative and kind of get they're going to get weird with Keaton Mitchell.
51:28And I'm here for it with with Mike McDaniel.
51:31So I like Keaton Mitchell, especially in slightly deeper leagues.
51:34But I've just I've avoided the tight ends on the L.A.
51:37Chargers for now. So there you have it, boys.
51:40There you have it. So exhausted Texans fans. I still can't believe I saw his ankles on the live stream.
51:46Oh, there's more where that came from. Exhausted Texans fan.
51:49Make no mistake. Not today. Again, I wonder if I should.
51:52I wonder if I should dress him up. Should I like decorate?
51:56You know how like people like sometimes they decorate their their cleats or, you know, their socks or whatever.
52:02They wear funky socks. I wonder if I should just maybe have my daughter like draw a little smiley face or something.
52:09My ankles. Maybe there should be like a message of the day.
52:13If I get an ankle cam, I might do that.
52:16As a dinner butter connoisseur says a great 60 minutes.
52:19I laughed. I cried. I saw ankles and it was free.
52:22I mean, there you go. Right. I mean, what more can you ask for in a show?
